The headline, Reuters news agency pro-Israel resolution is new U.S. House leaders first act. And he took great pride in announcing this today. Speaker Mike Johnson called up a resolution supporting Israel in his first action as leader of the U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday after a three-week leadership vacuum that left the Republican-led chamber unable to respond to the Middle East crisis.

He said, the first bill I'm going to bring to this floor in a little while will be in support of what he said, Rick, was our dear friend Israel, and we are overdue in getting that done. And he said that as he accepted the speakership. All right, so, Doc, the new House Speaker, Mr. Johnson, his first priority was not our fellow American citizens in Hawaii who have no homes because of the fire. No. And it wasn't the southern border of the United States and protecting it. He brings down nations. Jeremiah says, I raise them up and I pluck them up and I destroy them. Yes. Read Jeremiah and the potter. Yes. God says, I can do anything I want with a nation. I can bless it and I can destroy it because I made it. So all the nations were established by God.

So that's a dangerous theology to say only two nations were created by God. That means everybody else is second class. And that means that God is on the side of those two nations and he's against everybody else. That's right. See, that's an example of Christian nationalism. Yes. And it is dangerous and it is theologically wrong

and it is unbiblical. The third interview is with Congressman Tim Burchett I guess it's Burchett of Tennessee. Karen, do you have a quick second? Sure, man. Do you think there's a role of religious extremism here in the U.S. funding

in shaping the conflict? I mean, there are a lot of folks who are part of the evangelical movement that wants— Support Israel. Support Israel. And we don't really kind of see that same kind of constituent group pushing the other way. I wouldn't label the Baptist or the evangelical community as extreme because I feel like they're following the scripture and what the scripture says about Israel. I mean, they take it literally and I'm one of those people. Yeah and believing in Armageddon that there will be a final battle around Jerusalem and that after that battle you know there's a judgment day Jews will be killed or converted, Jesus will come back, there's going to be a rapture event. where's that verse in the Bible? I will bless those that bless Israel. I'll curse those who curse Israel. It doesn't exist. Where is it in the Bible? It does not exist. It's a misquoting of Scripture of what God spoke to Abraham. Yes. And yet people quote, I will bless those that bless Israel. I'll curse those that curse Israel. You hear this all the time.
