I'm Jake, but my friends call me Moose Jaw.
I'm a blacksmith and I like to work with my hands.
I watch and trust true news.
Two things are clear to me.
World War III has started and the USA is very unstable.
I have faith in God, but He expects us to use our brains and our hands to prepare for trouble.
There are two things we need.
Food and water.
That's why I buy supplies from AmericanReserves.com.
American Reserves offers easy-to-prepare chicken and beef meals, pastas, soups, and vegetables that only need boiling water.
You can purchase the world-famous British Birkfield gravity-fed water filters equipped with Dalton ceramic handles and other emergency supplies at AmericanReserves.com.
My family's security is critical to me. Something big is coming. Procrastination could be costly.
Act today before a crisis suddenly appears. Be ready. Be wise. Go to AmericanReserves.com. Ukraine used American-made, American-supplied attack of missiles to strike military targets deep inside Russia. President Putin responded by publishing
Russia's new military doctrine for using nuclear weapons. I'm Rick Wiles. This is
True News for Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Let's begin our analysis and commentary of today's news by looking at this very troubling Washington Post headline.
Ukraine uses U.S.-made attackums inside Russia for the first time.
The Post said Ukraine fired at least six U.S.-made attackums at a weapons depot in Russia on Tuesday, the first use of the weapons against
a target inside Russia. In the wake of the lifting of restrictions, Russian officials warned
that the United States was provoking open war with Russia. And on Tuesday,
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the country's new nuclear policy.
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, said, quote,
The Russian Federation reserves the right to use nuclear weapons in the event of conventional aggression against it.
Vladimir Putin has warned that allowing U.S. weapons to strike inside Russia
would make the United States a direct party to the conflict.
Doc, we're here.
First of all, Doc, glad to have you back.
Good to be back. Thank you.
We've arrived.
Yes.
We're here.
We've reached a point where there's going to be an exchange of nuclear weapons.
We're here.
And I am deeply troubled.
I'll save my comments.
We've got a lot here to share with you.
I don't want to go into this yet until we go through the basic facts of what's happening.
This is RT, basically the same report that's being reported by Russia today.
They're claiming they shot down five of the six.
Okay.
No way to confirm either report.
We've got some video showing ranges of missiles used by Ukraine against Russia.
This is from RT.
Right.
So you see the map here and the different types of missiles that are being supplied by the West.
There you see the ranges.
The yellow there concerns the ATAKOMS Block 1.
Those are the mildly modified ATAKOMS.
Then you have the SCALP and Storm Shadow missiles, which have yet to be implemented against Russian
territory.
Which are coming in from Great Britain.
That's correct.
And then you have the Atacoms modified.
And these are the ones that will be supplied by the U.S.
Now, we're looking at a range of 300 kilometers, about 180 miles, 200 miles inside of Russia.
Getting dangerously close to Moscow.
Yes.
So, but what's to stop them
from making any kind of attack
on Moscow?
Just the lack of range, right?
That's it. Because they
would use it now if they could. And they had
them a year ago. And they've used
drones. There have been drone
attacks in Moscow that have not done a lot
of damage. Straits Times
in Singapore,
Lavrov says Ukrainian attack on Russia with U.S. missiles is a Western escalation.
Mr. Lavrov is currently at the G20 summit. And so he had some remarks related to this
at a presser that was going on at the G20.. Let's listen to what he had to say.
You're asking me questions about whether what New York Times published is truth or an attempt just to speculate on this information about the attacks against the Bransk region where where these missiles were used.
It's a signal saying that they want an escalation
and using these highly technological missiles without Americans.
President Putin spoke about this many times.
It would be impossible to use them without Americans. And he warned how our position change if these long-range missiles, 300-kilometer-range missiles, will be authorized to use against our country.
They now say that we are going to strike you as far as 300 kilometers deep.
And everyone is saying that the authorization is there.
Even Borrell said that it's official.
And Europeans, they had this discussion.
And then they decided that each of them will make their own decision in this regards,
whether they authorize to use their long-range weapons for Ukrainians, I'm not going to speculate on this topic.
We have our nuclear doctrine that was officially published, and it says now officially, now
it's a law, that all the things that the president spoke about a month or slightly more.
And I hope that they are going to read this doctrine not how they
freed the u.n charter seeing only things that they need but they will read the entire doctrine
in all its interconnectedness
and whether if someone asked me about it so someone asked me on the sidelines whether it's true or not.
I said, I don't know. We care about our own security, first of all, and all the things that we need to know.
We told those who were floating these ideas, we told all we had to say.
And now it's officially enshrined in the official doctrine.
Two important things that I heard, Doc.
Number one, he said Ukraine, and these aren't his exact words, but he said Ukraine does
not have the trained personnel nor the satellite capabilities to fire those missiles.
Only the Americans can do it.
U.S. missiles require U.S. involvement.
There it is.
You can't hit Russia without the Americans doing it.
So it's not a Ukrainian attack.
It's an American attack.
That's what he's saying.
This is not a Ukrainian attack on Russia. This is an American attack. That's what he's saying. This is not a Ukrainian attack on Russia.
This is an American attack on Russia using Ukrainian soil to launch the missiles.
But they're American missiles.
They are launched by American personnel, and they are guided by American satellites.
It's an American attack. The second important thing he said is,
President Putin has signed our new nuclear doctrine. You should read it.
Nothing else matters in what he said. Everything else is secondary. Those two things.
The attack was an American attack on Russia. We published a new nuclear doctrine.
You'd be smart to read it. So where are we going with this? London Times, here's the headline.
Russia changes nuclear weapons rules as Ukraine fires U.S. missiles.
And basically what they're doing now is they're simply codifying what Vladimir Putin has been saying and Lavrov has been saying over the past month, month and a half.
This is going to change here.
And RT published that new nuclear doctrine here.
And we're going to go through it point by point here.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has officially signed a new national nuclear doctrine that outlines the scenarios in which Moscow would be authorized to deploy its nuclear arsenal.
Here are the key points of the updated document stipulated on the nuclear force's potential at the level sufficient for nuclear deterrence
and guarantees protection of national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state
and deterrence of a potential adversary from aggression against the Russian Federation and or its allies.
In the event of a military conflict, this policy provides for the prevention of an escalation of military actions
and their termination on conditions
that are acceptable for the Russian Federation or its allies. The second point, the Russian
Federation considers nuclear weapons as a means of deterrence, their use being an extreme and
compelled measure, and takes all necessary efforts to reduce nuclear threat and prevent
aggravation of interstate relations that could trigger military
conflicts, including nuclear ones. Number three, the Russian Federation ensures nuclear deterrence
toward a potential adversary, which is understood to mean any individual states or military
coalitions, blocs or alliances, obviously speaking about NATO there, which see the Russian Federation
as a potential adversary and possess
nuclear arms and or other weapons of mass destruction or conventional forces with a
significant combat capability. Nuclear deterrence is also ensured toward any states which provide
the territory, airspace, and or maritime space under their control, as well as resources for preparing and conducting
an aggression against the Russian Federation.
We'll go into detail about that here in a moment.
An aggression of any single state from a military coalition, block, or alliance against the
Russian Federation and or its allies will be regarded as an aggression of the whole
coalition.
A fifth point, an aggression against the Russian Federation and or its allies or any non-nuclear
state with the participation or support of a nuclear state will be regarded as their
joint attack.
Number six, the Russian Federation reserves the right to use nuclear weapons in response
to the use of nuclear arms and or other weapons of mass
destruction against itself or its allies, as well as in the event of an aggression against the
Russian Federation and or the Republic of Belarus as constituents of the Union State using conventional
arms if such an aggression creates a critical threat for their sovereignty and or their territorial integrity.
And finally, the seventh point, the decision to use nuclear weapons is taken by the president
of the Russian Federation. So, Rick, I'm sure you have some comments on one or several of these
points here. Well, the most important points are three, four, five, six, and seven? Because it's very clear who they're talking about.
And number three, nuclear deterrence,
meaning Russia pushing back against any threat to its territory,
means any individual state, any nation, or military coalition.
That's NATO.
Very obvious who they're talking about.
It also ensures that toward any state that provides territory, airspace, and maritime space
under its control, as well as their resources for the preparation and conducting
an aggression against the Russian Federation.
So, Poland, in any country.
So, any nation.
South Korea.
Yes.
Any country that contributes to the attack is now a target for nuclear attacks from Russia.
And by its allies, too.
Yes.
Since they're in that agreement there.
Yes, because it says any bloc.
So they take it as if one member of a military alliance carries out the attack,
the whole bloc has done it.
That's right.
So they just told you, we will nuke the entire NATO alliance, the whole thing, all 29 nations.
Number four, an aggression of any single state from a military alliance.
One member of NATO attacking Russia or its allies, Belarus, North Korea, Iran. All those are allies.
China, they're all allies. It's interesting that he pointed out Belarus, though, isn't it?
Because there have been some saber-rattling between Poland and Belarus over the past few months as well. And so I thought that was interesting that that was high. But it includes Iran.
I understand.
And it includes North Korea.
Yes.
So if President Biden or President Trump attacks Iran.
Yes.
Then Russia will have to step up.
Yes.
If Israel attacks Iran, what they're telling you is russia will nuke israel they're not saying the names of the nations but
you just just connect the dots and then the russian federation reserves the right to use
nuclear weapons in response to the use of nuclear arms and or other weapons of mass destruction, biological, chemical, scalar,
could be any type of futuristic weapons.
And this is where they mention Belarus.
And the decision to use the weapons is solely in the hands of Vladimir Putin.
He doesn't have to go to a committee.
Okay? They made that
very clear.
He makes the decision.
And this is now
codified. This is
doctrine now. Okay, and we've pointed out
many times the Russians are
very
careful to have everything
legal. So what they told us today, it is now legal for us to have everything legal.
So what they told us today, it is now legal for us to nuke you.
We've changed our law.
And here's the law.
We advise you to read it.
But it's now legal in archives.
In our mind here in Russia, it's now legal for us to attack you.
So now they didn't codify this until today, earlier today.
Well, he signed it.
He signed it today.
So did the missile attack from yesterday count toward this?
Yes, I think they held it off until the missile attack came in.
And they're telling the West and everybody now, okay.
I think the document's been on his desk for quite some time.
And
when the
attack came in,
Putin got his pen out and signed it
and said, publish it and
tell the whole world to read it.
This is the new law.
And the key thing in here is Putin makes the decision.
He has the sole authority.
The president, the president of Russia, has the sole authority to use nuclear weapons.
So he does have to go to his defense committee.
He doesn't have to go to anybody.
He's got the button.
He gives the command.
There's nobody else.
They're in a chain of command. Nobody else has to be involved. It's Putin. Putin directly calls the commander of the strategic forces and says,
launch missiles. That's all he has to do now. Mr. Medvedev had something to say about it. This is
what he posted on Telegram early this morning.
He said, on the unconfirmed decision to strike deep into Russia, now these reports are confirmed by both Russian and Western sources,
and the decision on Russia's nuclear policy approved by the president of Russia after the dust raised by Western newspapers has settled a little, it is obvious that despite the obvious propaganda
intent of the publications, what is happening may have very serious consequences. So he outlines
the responses here. He says, it's not so important who and when made the decision to use NATO tactical
ballistic and long-range cruise missiles deep into the territory of Russia. Moreover, there have already been
attempts to use them against our country. It is not so important how many of them the enemy has
today, as well as the fact that their use, in the opinion of our enemies, should have not only a
military but also an informational effect. Number three, it is not so important that these missiles
will not be able to make a significant contribution to the enemy's military actions.
He also said it's not so important that with such decisions, the current U.S. administration is deliberately creating such an escalation of the conflict that President Trump's team will have to deal with.
He goes on to say, the right arises to launch a retaliatory strike with weapons of mass destruction against Kiev and the main NATO facilities,
wherever they are.
And this is already World War III.
Maybe old man Biden really decided to leave this life beautifully, taking with him a significant part of humanity. Well, Mr. Mivedev, Doc, Mr. Mivedev
said
we're going to destroy the city of Kiev.
They're going to obliterate it, Doc.
Yes.
They're going to do to Kiev what the U.S. did
to Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
They're going to obliterate it.
Hundreds of thousands
of people are going to die. I don't know what the population of Kiev is.
I'm sure it's several million people.
But it's not going to be limited to Kiev.
No.
It also says NATO facilities.
The city of Kiev is going to disappear very soon.
Very, very soon.
Possibly before today's over.
This is how close...
The significance is that the nuclear doctrine is now in force.
Okay?
And the U.S. has given Putin, in his mind, a justification to activate the doctrine.
Okay?
But he said, and the main NATO facilities, wherever they are.
Wherever they are.
Okay, so what are the main NATO facilities and where are they?
Well, we have—
We know Brussels is the headquarters.
Right.
There goes Brussels.
Right.
But Norfolk?
I mean—
Norfolk is a NATO facility.
Right.
I mean, that would be a legitimate target now. It's a NATO facility. Right. I mean, that would be a legitimate target now.
It's a NATO facility.
That's something I think we should, for tomorrow's program, we should make a list of what is officially considered NATO facilities.
Because one or more or all of them are going to disappear.
Doc, I think we're going to see...
If I had to...
If I had to guess,
I think Mr. Putin's first action
is going to be to take out American satellite systems.
I think he's going to demonstrate what they can do
in space. I think
some of our key military
satellites are going to be destroyed
very soon. Possibly
Starlink over Europe.
Elon Musk may lose
Starlink over Europe.
But I think
I would say without a doubt,
I believe Russia
will take out American satellites
very soon
to demonstrate to Biden
and the Pentagon and NATO
this is what we're capable of doing.
Do you want some more of it?
Worst case scenario,
well, let's go to the next story. This is in the U.K. Express in London. Now, it's full of anti-Russian, anti-Putin war propaganda. The British papers can't write a paragraph
without war propaganda.
I mean, it just
oozes
out of their newspapers.
It's like
Fox News and CNN here in the United States.
They can't just report the news.
They have to
spin it.
So they want the people in Great Britain to believe that Putin is out of his mind They have to spin it. Okay.
And so they want the people in Great Britain to believe that Putin is out of his mind and he's going to destroy their Christmas because he's a nutcase.
Okay.
Instead of writing an article saying, no, our leaders are insane.
And Putin is the one who's sane. So this is what the Express published today in London.
And folks, pay attention to it.
Pay close attention.
The United States has been given a chilling World War III by Christmas warning.
Did you hear that? World War III by Christmas. Warning.
By pro-Putin spokesman Sergei Markov.
Western allies, including Britain and France,
have taken a big jump towards a nuclear conflict
by giving Ukraine permission to fire Western long-range missiles
into Kremlin territory, Markov claims.
A regular Putin mouthpiece.
Markov warned that the shock move by Joe Biden
could mean that Britons could be facing a Christmas in bomb shelters.
Markov, currently the director general of russia's institute for political
studies was convinced the move was different as it would mean that western militaries would be
directly involved in the conflict for the first time ukraine would require their assistance to to use the precision guided missile systems.
He appeared on BBC Radio 4.
And this is a quote from that radio interview.
My reaction, speaking of the White House decision, was awful. I couldn't sleep well because I'm just afraid of nuclear wars coming. The decision of
the United States, Great Britain, and France is not a step toward nuclear war. It is a big jump
to nuclear war, nuclear catastrophe. Now, I tried to find the BBC Radio 4 interview,
and I couldn't locate it
before it came here in the studio,
but we have a Sky News interview
in Europe with Mr. Markov.
So this isn't the same interview.
This is Sky News.
Yes.
Okay, but we're going to watch it.
It's about two and a half minutes long.
Some of the similar themes are in this interview.
Let's watch.
Do you believe that Ukraine should be afforded the right to protect itself from aggression?
Of course.
Ukraine, as any country, has the right to protect itself from aggression.
But Ukraine doesn't defend itself now.
Ukrainian regime is an aggressive regime
who is killing Ukrainian people on the Donbass
already more than 10 years.
And Russia made a humanitarian operation
for saving millions of lives from the aggressive, Russophobic,
neo-Nazi-style regime imposed by the United States of America and Great Britain to the
Ukrainian poor people.
President Putin says it's a declaration of war, this involvement.
What does that mean for the UK and the United States? Will Russia now be at
war with them? If the United States and Great Britain are now directly taking part in a war
against Russia, it means that all militaries of the US.S. and Great Britain are becoming legitimate goals for the Russian
military.
So, as a first step, we can say that some of the probably intelligence aviation jet
could be crashed by Russian army, and some of the satellite of the United States and
Great Britain also could be attacked and could be crashed.
Are you saying that the United Kingdom is now a target, now a target for Russia?
United Kingdom now not target yet because these attacks of the Storm Shadow didn't happen yet. If Storm Shadow will attack Russian territory
with participation of British officers
and American officers,
Great Britain will put all militaries
as legitimate goals, targets,
for the Russian militaries automatically.
If you decided to kill us, we have to protect ourselves.
Doc, he hinted at some possible
targets. He talked about intelligence agency
sites. Right. Satellites. He said
specifically American satellites, he said, could be attacked.
That just confirmed what I said a few minutes ago.
And he also confirmed that Great Britain, the United Kingdom, is now a military target.
Well, it's kind of in a gray area right now because storm shadows haven't been used directly onto Russian soil yet.
But they're coming.
But they're coming.
But what has been used on Russian soil?
British intelligence.
But what about the missiles that were used today?
They were American attack thems.
Right.
So right now, America is an enemy.
If you go by what he just said,
Great Britain is in the gray area.
The moment they use the storm shadows against Russia,
they become a target.
But the United States has already used
the attack on Russia.
That means the United States today is a target.
And he mentioned intelligence.
I wasn't quite sure what he said,
intelligence sites.
Is he talking about Langley?
Is he talking about the CIA headquarters
in Langley, Virginia?
Satellites,
the satellites in space
that are providing the Pentagon
with the GPS targeting capabilities,
that they would be taken out.
We don't know what else is going to be taken out.
Folks, look, you could lose communications. You could lose telephone, internet, banking,
all kinds of things could disappear within days by taking out satellites. It's a question of how
many satellites will they take out? See, life will change.
Life is going to change very soon.
And he said in the previous interview,
the one that was on Radio 4 in London,
that this was not a step towards a nuclear war,
it's a big jump.
And it's leading to a nuclear war, it's a big jump. And it's a nuclear,
it's leading to a nuclear catastrophe
and that
there could be,
that the British people
could be in bomb shelters
by Christmas.
All right, so Doc,
you know where that,
for me.
Yes, I know.
You know.
How many years
have I talked about Christmas,
nuclear war at Christmas? Since I know. You know. How many years have I talked about Christmas, nuclear war Christmas?
Since I've been serving here. Yeah, so I think it goes back somewhere around 2010, 11, 12.
I'm not quite sure of the year.
A lot of stuff is kind of, you know, kind of just mixed together in my brain. But there was a period of time, basically 2010 to 2014,
that various members of my family and close friends had prophetic dreams.
Right.
You know, spread out over several years.
The common denominator in the dreams was, I'll tell you, fire and Christmas.
Fire and Christmas. It was very obvious. So, my daughter-in-law, Tiana, when she first moved to
the United States from Denmark and married my son.
They were living in Jupiter.
And again, I don't remember, Doc, I might be able to go back in my files and find the date because I wrote down the dream.
But Susan and I had spent Saturday night at Jeremy and Tiana's house in Jupiter.
We slept there that night. And in the morning, Tiana came to me and she said,
Papa Rick, I've got to tell you something.
I had a horrible dream last night.
And I have to tell you before you leave.
I said, okay, tell me.
And she said, it was, we were in a Christmas party,
but it wasn't Christmas Day.
And again, Tiana had just moved to the United States.
They had just been married, I don't know, six months, a year, don't recall how long.
And so she said it was Christmas, but it wasn't Christmas Day. And I said, well, Tiana, in the United States, Christmas is essentially the day after Thanksgiving to New Year's Day.
That's the Christmas season.
And she goes, all I know is that into the party, walked directly to us.
Susan, me, Jeremy, Tiana, Carissa, our family was together in the party.
And this angelic being walked up to us and said, you must go.
There's no more time.
This is it. And we, all of us instantly knew what this is it meant. The angel said, you must go. There's no more time. This is it.
And Tiana said, Jeremy ran out of the building, wherever this party was being held, ran out into the streets to look for a boat.
Because we were living in Florida at that time.
We were in Florida.
That he ran out into the streets to look for a boat, but he couldn't find any, but everything was on fire.
The city was on fire.
Okay, so that was on a Sunday morning.
We spent Saturday night, got up Sunday morning.
Tiana told me this dream before I left.
I drove from Jupiter to Sebastian, Florida, north of Vero Beach.
My daughter and son-in-law at that time were living there in a little town
called Nicco.
Susan and I
drove to their home.
I didn't even go in.
I was out in the
driveway
and we were going to go
to church together.
And Susan and I
are sitting in the car
and Carissa
and the whole family
comes out to get in their vehicle.
And Carissa walks over to me.
I put the window down, and she goes, Dad, I've got to tell you something before we leave.
I had a dream, and the Lord said, tell your father.
Make sure you tell your father about this dream.
I said, okay, what was it?
She said, it was a very short dream.
She said, everything was on fire. And our family was running. We were running, looking for a hole to go into to get away from the fire. And we couldn't find any place. The whole world was on fire, she said.
Two dreams about fire on the same Sunday morning, Saturday night.
I could tell you many others.
People had dreams about Christmas.
It's always Christmas decorations are up, Christmas trees. You know, a long list of dreams like this.
So when you see a headline that says World War III by Christmas, your ears perk up.
More than perk up, I'm like in a state of shock because here it comes.
Here it comes.
I remember the one young man,
I always forget his name,
worked for us for a short time
and great young guy,
loved the guy,
but he was only here for a short time
and he had a dream
and he came into my office
and he said,
Rick, I got to tell you this dream
because you and I were in Denver.
I said, okay.
What's important about the dream?
He goes, there were nuclear missiles coming through the sky to Denver.
And I'm thinking, okay, sure, there's an underground Pentagon in Cheyenne.
Cheyenne Mountain.
Mountain down in Colorado Springs.
There's supposedly underground facilities in Denver at the airport.
You know, you hear all these things.
And he said, so you and I are like running down a street,
and a woman comes out of her house and says, hey, guys, why don't you come in and see my Christmas tree?
And he said to me, Rick, isn't that the craziest dream?
Why?
I'm dreaming about ICBMs coming into Denver.
And you and I are running.
And this crazy woman comes out of her house and says, hey guys, come on boys,
come on in and look at my Christmas tree.
I said, no, I know exactly what it means.
The attack is at Christmas.
And he goes, oh wow, I didn't think about that.
I just thought that was weird.
I said, no, that's a clue.
God's telling us this will happen at Christmastime.
So, am I saying for 100% certainty we're going to have a nuclear attack by Christmas?
No.
Christmas 2024?
No, I can't say that.
Because I'm not a prophet.
I'm not the son of a prophet, okay?
I'm just a watchman.
And I'm looking at the signs.
I'm looking at, I'm checking the weather, okay?
And I'm feeling a change in the atmospheric conditions.
And I don't like this.
And I'm seeing that things could change quickly in the coming days in weeks
that we look i i told you last week doc we're in a dangerous time yes i said between
the day after election and january 20th is going to be the most dangerous time for this country
because the deep state does not want to give up power.
And they are so insane, they would start a nuclear war to keep power.
And the reason Joe Biden was all grins last week,
and people were saying, oh, look at Joe.
He's so happy. He's's relieved he's finally got all
these burdens off of his shoulder he probably voted for for trump no he was laughing because
he had already made the decision to give zielinski permission to use the missiles and he was sitting there laughing in the face of donald trump saying
i hate you i despise you and i am going to give you a world war when you come into this white
house there will be a world war that's why he was grinning because he's a sick, sadistic old man.
What he did was evil.
He's wicked.
He's risking all of our lives.
For what?
For this invisible empire that we call the deep state,
whatever it is,
the Illuminati,
whatever name you want to give to it.
How about Satan?
Yes.
How about Satan's empire?
Look,
all of you need to take
immediate action.
We're out of warnings.
We're out of warnings.
There are no more warnings.
You were told today by the Russians
we've got a new law.
You should read it. We're going to use
it. We'll give you
some suggestions.
Satellites, intelligence units,
facilities.
Maybe
Great Britain itself.
Great Britain is right on the edge.
But the United States,
we're going to lose something very soon.
And if you notice,
President Trump
is quiet.
He hasn't said a word.
I think he's furious.
Doc, I think he's furious. Don Trump Jr. has
spoken out. He said, Biden's trying to get my dad into a world war. Don Jr. gets it. He knows what's
going on. His father hasn't said a word. I think he's not saying anything because he's furious.
He's outraged.
He knows this is the deep state.
Like they haven't quit.
They're still waging war against Donald Trump.
And they're willing to kill you and me.
They're willing to kill our families in order to maintain control.
Doc, I don't have the story. I heard today on the news driving in about tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands
of migrant children, children of illegal immigrants missing, that the U.S. government has lost
them.
There were reports months ago that it was 300,000.
That's not the number I heard today, just tens of thousands of children missing.
Does anybody really think that these kids just wandered off?
The U.S. government doesn't know where they're at.
No, I'll tell you where they're at.
They were sold into sex trafficking for the satanic pedophiles that run this country.
That's what happened to the children.
We've been telling you for a long, long time
that the American political establishment
is controlled by satanic pedophiles.
And these children have been sacrificed to Lucifer.
I want to get back.
Mike Waltz, the incoming national security advisor to President-elect Trump, said he was not briefed by the Biden White House on the deployment of attack of missiles.
This is what he told Fox News. With two months left in office, Joe Biden has done
something he's been called on to do for the last since this war started, allow Ukraine to strike
Russia with everything that we give them, the attack, which are long range missiles,
hit Russia where they're trying to hit them from your reaction to that. And were you briefed ahead
of time? I was not, Brian, And it's, you know, it's another
step up the escalation ladder. And nobody knows where this is going. North Korea is unleashing
ballistic missiles, artillery, now tens of thousands of soldiers. The administration
responds by lifting this restriction. North Korea sends more soldiers. South Korea is now saying it may
get engaged. China is buying oil from Iran for pennies of the dollar. Iran is using that to
send missiles and drones to Russia that is then hitting Ukrainian critical infrastructure. So
this is a development, but it's a tactical one. President Trump is talking grand strategy here. How do we get both
sides to the table to the end this war? What's the framework for a deal and who's sitting at that
table? Those are the things that I and President Trump, of course, will be working with. Again,
this is an all star team, Brian, that President Trump is assembling that will think through these broader
strategic issues and how do we drive this war to an end, as President Trump promised
on the campaign trail.
By the way, Brian Kilmeade is a paid propagandist employed by Fox News.
He is a warmongering propagandist.
He's all for this war.
He's been cheerleading for quite some time to get those
missiles released to be used against russia so he's delighted so don't put any stock into what
brian kilmeade says he's one of these these uh warmongers that's getting us in this war
deeper and deeper uh something that happened i want to jump down to number 13, undersea cables
between Lithuania and Sweden damaged. This is a Lithuanian news site, I believe, or is it Italian?
It's Italian? LRT from Italy. Okay. And I'll let you read this, Doc.
So following Finnish media reports and unexplained
failure of an undersea telecommunications cable disrupted communications between Finland and
Germany. Talia's chief technology officer, Andreas, and I'm not even going to try to
pronounce that last name. Mr. S. Yeah, Mr. S says that the communications cable between Lithuania and Sweden was also damaged.
The cable was cut on Sunday morning around 10 a.m.
The systems immediately reported that we had lost the connection.
Further investigation and clarification took place, and it turned out that it was damaged.
According to him, Talia transmits the Internet connection to Lithuania through three cables,
which means that the Internet bandwidth was reduced by one-third due to the incident. However, the connection was restored
to users by bypassing the fault. Meanwhile, data transmission between Finland and Germany was
completely interrupted. The nearly 1,200-kilometer-long cable is the only direct link of its
kind between Finland and Central Europe and runs alongside other important pieces of infrastructure,
including gas pipelines and electricity cables.
Now, to add a little bit of texture to this, Rick, right now there are some reports that
a Chinese tanker may have damaged that cable.
Okay.
And so that's some reports that have come out in the past hour or so.
Well, what depth of water was that tanker in?
Well, I don't know.
How would a tanker damage undersea cables on the bottom of the sea?
That's a great question.
But apparently Danish ships have intercepted a Chinese tanker,
the Yi Ping, in that area.
Well, the tanker may have a saw.
It could very well be.
Attached to the back of it.
If it turns out to be China, that's a new entry into this drama, isn't it?
But there's no confirmation on that.
It's just preliminary report.
But what it's telling us is be prepared for the disruption of communication, data transmission, Internet transmission.
You could see continents separated, cut off from each other.
Yes.
You would have Internet inside this country, but unable to get access.
You wouldn't be able to send emails.
You wouldn't be able to reach websites around the world.
We could be cut off.
World War III is underway.
It's happening right now.
I'm going to hold to my position that what the Holy Spirit, I truly believe, told me, Doc, in Myrtle Beach, We could see some very scary developments between now and 2030, 2032, where we would say this is it.
It started.
The nuclear war has started.
But there may be the use of nuclear weapons on a limited scale, and yet we're not in the full nuclear war.
I am not ruling that out at all i there is a
high probability that one or more western city is going to vanish in the next 30 to 60 days
it's a high probability that we're going to see one or more cities just completely obliterated and yet it will
not be the the mother of all wars right but it will accelerate the march towards that big war
uh germany this is bbc germany uh suspects sabotage behind the severed cables.
What did they suspect about
the Nord Stream pipeline?
Well, when they came out and said that
the Russians blew it up,
their own pipeline.
Look at this one,
number 15.
The U.S. tells Ukraine to draft more men.
This is for real.
Yes.
I've got the video just to prove it to you.
That little warmonger right there, Jake Sullivan,
little Zionist warmonger,
telling Ukraine, we've given you plenty of weapons.
You need to get more boys into uniform.
What a scumbag.
How many Ukrainian boys, men, fathers have died because of people like him?
The U.S. will fight to the last ukrainian uh this is the rt
report says ukraine should ramp up military mobilization to send more troops to fight russia
u.s national security advisor jake sullivan i see mr waltz from florida will be taking his place
thank god has suggested in an interview with pbs News, he rejected the argument that more weapons
would change the tide. I've got a video clip from PBS. Let's watch.
And of course, we will respond. In the past, you've tried to avoid provoking the Russians
from escalating at times. You didn't provide tanks, and then you did
decide to make that decision to provide tanks. You didn't provide F-16s, then you did provide
those F-16s. Do you believe at this point, looking back, if you had provided any of those
authorizations earlier, it would have made a difference to Ukraine in the war?
Have we seen a marked difference since we have provided tanks to Ukraine in terms of the battlefield.
Similarly on F-16s, have we seen a marked difference?
Our view has been that there's not one weapon system that makes a difference in this battle.
It's about manpower, and Ukraine needs to do more, in our view, to firm up its lines
in terms of the number of forces it has on the front lines.
It's about munitions, and it's about all of the other things that go to a country's national
strength, their morale, their cohesion, their industrial base.
But I ask because Ukraine is losing more territory today than at any point this year.
So do you really believe that nothing the U.S. could have done earlier would have changed
that?
We've provided the tanks.
We provided the F-16s.
We provided the HIMARS.'ve provided the F-16s. We've provided
the HIMARS. We've provided the Patriots. We've provided many of the things that you said earlier
we wouldn't provide. And it's not back then. It's rather today that Ukraine finds itself in a more
challenged position on the battlefield, suggesting that there's not a straight line between those
weapon systems and how it does on the battlefield. Where is the straightest line between Ukrainian performance and inputs? It's on mobilization of manpower.
The Ukrainian army recruiters need to get into the junior high schools of Ukraine.
Yes. Maybe the elementary schools.
And the nursing homes. Yes, just get them
if they're breathing, put a uniform
on them and get them out there
to fight the Russians.
Bloomberg reporting
North Korea may end
up sending Putin 100,000
troops for the war.
Now, Doc, when I saw the headline,
I went, oh,
this is what I said a week or two ago.
Kim Jong-un could easily put 100,000 troops in Ukraine.
He's got over a million in uniform right now.
But when you read the Bloomberg article, does it say that Kim Jong-un is sending 100,000 soldiers to Ukraine?
Does it say it? It doesn't say it at all. Where does it say it? It does not soldiers to Ukraine. Does it say it?
It doesn't say it at all.
Where does it say it?
It does not say it at all.
Where does it say it?
It says in the rotation.
In the headline.
Yes.
In the headline.
In the story, it talks about the rotation of North Korean troops into Russian territory.
The Bloomberg article says they stress that such a move wasn't imminent
and that military support of that scale,
even if it occurred, would likely happen in batches.
With troops rotating over time rather than a single deployment.
Propaganda, war propaganda.
Yonhap News in Seoul, South Korea.
U.S. to deter nuclear threats from North Korea, China, and Russia
simultaneously.
According to
a new Pentagon report, the U.S.
is going to fight all of them.
A nuclear war at the same time.
These people
are out of their minds, Doc.
They're out of their cotton-picking minds.
They're going to fight North Korea,
China, and Russia with nuclear weapons simultaneously?
This is insanity.
This is a new military report.
See, Putin signed his document, and then Lloyd Austin published this one.
Same time.
Checkmate. same time yeah checkmate right
hey look i i strongly encourage you to go to american reserves buy what you can buy
set aside folks i would cut out spending every frivolous thing, every unnecessary, just cut it out.
You need to buy food.
I'll tell you what I'm concerned about.
I know what our inventory stock is.
We monitor it every day with the inventories in the warehouse.
Right.
Doc, the moment one major thing happens where the country wakes up and goes, oh, my God, we're going to have a nuclear war.
That stock is gone.
Our inventory will disappear instantly.
And so will everybody else's.
Everybody else's. Every other company will disappear, and we won't be able to restock
our inventory. That's what I'm concerned about. We're down to, I think, possibly the last
inventory we may have for quite some time.
Because if one city disappears, if satellites are taken out, every preparedness food company in America will be sold out.
Okay.

Today will be the final lesson in Matthew 26.
Tomorrow we begin chapter 27.
And God willing, we will be finished the gospel according to St. Matthew before Christmas.
That's my goal.
So today we look at verses 69 through 75.
Let's pray.
Dear gracious heavenly father, father, we come to you with hearts and minds filled with thanksgiving and praise for you, gratitude, humility that we have been adopted into your family, made sons and daughters, and our sins forgiven, our names written in your book of life,
your Holy Spirit dwelling inside of us, an invitation to come to your throne boldly
in the name of Jesus. We are blessed. So Father, all of us are here today at your breakfast table to receive nourishment.
And we ask that the Holy Spirit would take his seat at the head of this table and teach us your word.
In the name of Jesus, amen.
Amen.
And good morning to everyone, or good evening, depending on where you're at in the world right now.
We've had people checking in from Scotland, from Kenya, from Malaysia, from Japan, from Australia this morning, and we appreciate you being here and joining us
for this daily Bible study as we dive into the Word of God. Matthew chapter 26 is our text today,
beginning in verse number 69. I'm reading from the King James this morning. Now Peter sat without in the palace and a damsel came unto him saying
thou also was with
Jesus of Galilee.
But he denied before them all saying
I know not what thou sayest.
And when he was gone out
into the porch another maid saw him
and said unto them that were
there this fellow was also
with Jesus of Nazareth.
And again he denied with an oath i do not
know the man and after a while came unto him they that stood by and said to peter surely thou also
art one of them for thy speech betrayeth thee then he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.
And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him before the cock crow,
Thou shalt deny me thrice.
And he went out and wept bitterly.
God bless the reading of his word today.
All right, so verse 69.
Now Peter sat without in the palace, and a damsel came to him saying, thou also was with Jesus of Galilee. Modern version says, now Peter was sitting outside in the court. And a maid came to him saying, you were also with Jesus the Galilean.
What we see, the setting,
is that Peter is situated in an open courtyard
that was surrounded by rooms.
And this open space was bustling with activity.
There were servants and guards.
And so the layout, the physical layout of the courtyard allowed Jesus and Peter
to be within sight of each other during the three denials.
That's right.
So the palace layout had a higher porch where Jesus was tried.
In a lower courtyard where Peter was situated.
You can get this picture in your mind what this looked like peter's i mean jesus is on a higher porch and peter is out in the courtyard but both of them
are close enough that they can see each other right so peter was positioned in the lower outer section most likely the high priest's residence
and this area was a common area for servants
it's described as beneath the porch.
So Jesus is in an elevated part of the hall.
I'm just trying to give you the physical layout of what this looked like that night.
So he's without in the palace. What does that mean, without in the palace.
What does that mean, without in the palace?
He's outside the specific area where Jesus was being tried,
yet within the boundaries of the hall.
He's without in the palace um
there is a you know there's some symbolism in this in the proximity to jesus
he's physically close to jesus but he's now adding spiritual distance.
Yes.
That's the first step in falling away.
When a believer maintains some closeness to Jesus and yet adds a layer of spiritual distancing.
He or she is setting themselves up to fall.
I know him, but I'm putting some space between me and him.
It may mean I'm going back to my old ways I'm going back to the bar I'm going back to the nightclub I'm going back to the things
I used to do oh yeah I'm not gonna deny him if somebody asked me yeah I know
Jesus but I'm still gonna go down to the nightclub and drink.
They're setting themselves up for the eventual fall.
Because eventually at the nightclub,
other temptations are going to come to you.
Right.
And you just keep adding distance between you and Jesus the accuser let's look at the the maid the damsel the King James calls her the
damsel it's a maid servant most Bible scholars think that she was probably the doorkeeper.
Right.
Her job was to monitor who was coming in and going out.
You know, she was probably situated close to the door,
the entrance into the palace.
She's watching everybody everybody that's her job
it's still very early in the morning
and uh so she's she's there she's got her one damsel, one maid servant.
And that is to indicate to the reader that there is a second maid servant who will appear later.
Right. Right. appear later right so there are Matthew is structuring the narrative to help us
understand multiple stages and participants in Peter's denial there was a progression of events and an
increasing pressure on Peter notice is the scripture says the damsel said you You were also with Jesus of Galilee.
With Jesus.
The emphasis is on this word with.
It implies not just physical relationship,
but you're with his teachings.
You're with his ministry. You're with his teachings you're with his ministry you're with his movement i know you you were with that man
you were with his movement it's not just i saw you earlier today walking with him
now she's saying i know who you are earlier today walking with him.
No, she's saying, I know who you are.
You were with him in everything that he did.
So that statement is what put a lot of pressure on Peter.
It wasn't like she said, hey, didn't I see you down on the street corner today sharing a cup of tea with that guy because peter could just see yeah that was me i yeah yeah i bought him a cup of tea
and she said you were with him and this scene alwaysues me because I always picture Peter, you know, as he's a big husky guy.
You know, he's pulled those nets out of the water.
He's a hard-driving fisherman and everything.
And yet he's scared of a little girl.
Yeah.
Scared of what she knew.
That's what he was afraid of.
He was afraid of what she knew. That's what he was afraid of. He was afraid of what she knew.
What she knew was that he had been with Jesus for three and a half years.
He couldn't get away from it.
He was tagged.
He was marked as somebody who had been with Jesus.
If Jesus is going to go, if he's going to be killed,
there's a high probability Peter's going to be killed with him.
In his mind, he's thinking, I'm done, I'm finished.
They're going to round up everybody who was with him.
And that adds to the pressure that's on peter at this moment
it's not that he's denying that he has seen met jesus from time to time
because his answer would have been yeah oh yeah i've talked to the guy
yeah i mean we all see him out here i've been with him at times i've been in his meetings
yeah i've heard him talk that's not what she's saying she's saying you were with him right
um she calls him the galilean that was a derogatory slur yeah like a redneck, a Florida man, or whatever it might be.
It was meant to be a derogatory remark.
Right, which only adds to my belief that Peter is my favorite Jewish redneck,
because that's really what she's calling him here
all right you're one of those Galileans you live out there in the sticks you're
not you're not here in the city with us we're sophisticated we're refined you're
unsophisticated you live out there in the rural area with sheep. I can tell by your accent.
You've got that Galilean slang, that Galilean accent. I know who you are. You're not one of us.
That's what she's saying. You're not one of us. You're not from around here you are you're not one of us that's what she's saying you're not one of us
you're not from around here are you
you ever been you have you has anybody ever said that to you you're not from around here are you
i've had it said to me.
And it's never meant in a complimentary way.
It's meant to convey the message, you're not one of us.
You don't belong here.
And we don't have to accept you.
Right.
You're out of place here. Yeah, you're out of place here yeah you're out of place
yeah you're not one of us um
so despite peter's previous boasting his proclamations of loyalty now peter succumbs to fear in front of a young
woman probably half his age
let's figure Peter's mid 30's
this young woman is probably
between 15 and 18
right
and he's terrified
because he's terrified.
Because he's now obsessed with his own self-preservation.
And he's concerned that he's being scrutinized by onlookers who are gathered there. You know, you wonder how many people overheard that conversation.
How many people turned their head and looked over and gave Peter the old,
you know, up and down scan with their eyes.
Yes.
Listen to the young woman saying, you're not one of us you're galilean
you were with him
doesn't mean anybody acted or spoke up but they were listening and he knew it
he knew that the conversation was being monitored by other people there was
people were eavesdropping in on that conversation.
Doc, I believe shame contributed to Peter's repeated denials.
You have both fear and shame.
Right.
The shame comes from, in Peter's mind, his leader's mission had failed.
And Peter did not want to be associated with the failure.
In other words, he's like, oh, I can't believe this.
This whole thing has just collapsed.
Yeah, it's all falling apart now.
I mean, in just a matter of
hours it has collapsed three and a half years of glorious ministry and within hours the entire
thing has collapsed we should have never come in to jerusalem we were better out there in samaria
in galilee where the people were coming to us in large numbers.
We came into this city and it has collapsed.
And now I'm associated with a massive failure in the capital city of Israel.
I mean, if you had been part of a movement in America, and then you traveled with your leader to Washington, D.C., and within hours it collapsed, and the FBI had arrested you, had arrested your leader, you'd be thinking, why did I ever come to Washington, D.C.?
I'm now associated with something that the feds
are involved in i'm trying to give you the you know something to compare it to what was going
through peter's mind like this is the worst it could possibly be it doesn't get any worse than this um verse 70 but he denied before them
all yes saying I know not what you say I don't know what you're talking about.
Yes.
Girl, it's like he's going, girl, get out of here.
I don't know what you're talking about.
What are you talking about?
He denied before them all, before them.
See, there were onlookers.
Yes.
People were gathering now they're listening they're looking their eyes are going back and forth between the young maid servant and peter
she's saying i know you you were with them you're a galilean
now peter's saying i girl get out of here i don't know what you're talking about he didn't say i
don't know jesus he said i don't know what you are talking about
a kind of a soft denial there yes it wasasive. He pretended to not understand the accusation.
He's conveying complete ignorance about the matter.
You know, I mean, it would be, okay, so So the police come to my office and arrest me. And
somebody asked Doc, aren't you his co host? And because I don't know what you're talking
about.
You can call us they confused. Okay. That guy in handcuffs i i don't know what you're talking about
i would never do that rick that's what peter said that's what people said
see doc we none of us know that's right until it happens
okay none of us you or me none of us know until we're in that situation so
the denial was this denial was unnecessary he was not in physical
danger not from a little girl no she She didn't make any threats of violence against him.
She merely asked him a question.
And he flipped out over a question.
I mean, she's saying you were with him.
And also, I can tell by the way you talk, you're not from around here.
You're a Galilean.
And that sent panic through Peter.
There was no threat.
She didn't say, hey, I'm calling the police.
She didn't yell, hey, get him. He's one of them.
He exaggerated it in his mind.
Now, his denial occurred in front of everyone present, which means people were listening to this conversation.
This is your first break with Jesus.
It's a soft break.
By pretending he didn't understand the question.
But it was a lie.
And he knew he was lying.
A soft lie is as sinful as a hard lie there's no such thing as
a little white lie lies are lies and so his denial before everybody present aggravated his sin.
Publicly confessing Jesus Christ is commendable.
Denying Jesus Christ is disgrace deny the divinity of Christ. He did not deny the Messiahship of Jesus.
He didn't deny him as the Savior.
He didn't deny his doctrine.
He denied Jesus.
Jesus.
He denied knowing him.
Well, what he denied was
he denied understanding the question.
Yeah, the first time around.
Yes.
Yes, the first time.
He did this this evasive maneuver of pretending.
I have no idea what you're talking about.
I'm going to go down to verse 71.
And when he was gone out into the porch another maid saw him and said unto
them that were there this fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth so the porch is this passage or gateway connecting the courtyard to the street.
And Peter moved there after his first denial, seeking a less conspicuous place to observe what was going on with Jesus the other place had become too too
unfriendly so he when he had gone out into the porch it's like okay lady I'm
getting away from you I don't know what you're talking about. Goodbye, I'm leaving. He goes out into the porch area.
And what happens?
There's another young maid
who says,
this fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.
Tried to get away from standing with Christ.
He walks right into another situation where he has to claim association with Christ or deny Christ.
And so she made this accusation in front of the bystanders.
More people heard it.
It wasn't like the other crowd followed him.
No, this is a new group of people.
And they're now listening to the conversation
between the second maid and Peter.
So there's increasing pressure on Peter.
And increasing denial. And increasing denial. See, there's increasing pressure on Peter. And increasing denial.
And increasing denial.
See, there's the connection.
Increasing pressure led to an increased denial.
The first time, again, it wasn't a hard, flat,'t know him yeah it was a big it was kind
of it I just I don't understand your question I don't understand your
question but it was a soft denial but now and this, she doesn't call him a Galilean.
She says, you were with that Jesus of Nazareth.
Well, being tagged a citizen of Nazareth was a derogatory accusation.
Nazareth did not have a great reputation.
It was a, you know, it was a hick town. I mean, it was like, what did they say? Nothing good comes out of Nazareth. Right. You're from Nazareth. Nazareth has never produced an achiever, a winner, a notable citizen ever.
It's a town you don't want to live in.
And, you know, I've never been to Nazareth in the West Bank,
occupied Jordanian territory.
But I can imagine, just from being in Jordan,
Doc, the tiny little villages we drove through.
Yes.
And, you know,
you're there
in a vehicle going through them and you're looking
out the window and you're thinking,
wow, they're so isolated
from everybody in this country.
What's it like to be a child growing up in this little town? That's what I think about Nazareth.
That it's a town you just want to pastor. You don't want to stay.
There's nothing there.
It didn't even have a stoplight.
It doesn't even have a dot on the map.
It's dotless.
So insignificant.
So Peter is confronted again.
A public confrontation and a public accusation.
And Peter denied knowing Jesus and in the account by Mark
this denial involved an oath he swore he didn't know so a much stronger more
deliberate repudiation of his association with Jesus.
I swear to you I don't know who he was.
Well,
he already heard Jesus
teach many times about swearing.
And he knew he wasn't supposed to swear
but he did it.
And he swore is the worst swearing because he swore he
didn't know the Son of God again motivated by fear and shame but at this point it's more fear.
I think the first time it was,
I think shame was the primary motivation.
He didn't want to be associated with a failed movement.
This time, fear is the primary motivation.
He doesn't want to be arrested he does not want to be hauled
up to where jesus is standing on the elevated platform so now now he's got this internal
struggle between loyalty to jesus and loyalty to himself.
His own self-preservation.
But again, remember, Jesus is within eyesight and
hearing.
Jesus is observing all this.
Yes.
Even as Jesus is being interrogated,
he's observing Peter being interrogated down below.
So it says a lot about human frailty under pressure,
that even the most loyal followers
can falter under fear and pressure?
You know, I almost hesitate, Doc, in asking the question.
I don't want to verbalize anything.
But, Doc, I'll ask it like this.
Have you in your own private thoughts ever considered what scenario would be so bad it could make you break in your in your loyalty to christ well i can be honest with you
sure there have been times where i've thought about that i mean if my family and their lives
were at risk what would would that motivate me uh that's the first thing that comes off the top of my head.
Me too.
Me too.
I do think about, I mean.
I don't even want to open the door to it, but if, you know.
Sure.
That's what happened in the past in my mind.
I can't deny that.
Right. I'm confident in my strength that if I were being tortured, if I were being threatened with death, I wouldn't cave.
I don't know what would happen if I were watching, say, one of my grandchildren being tortured.
Right.
And this has happened, and it still happens today.
Sure.
But there are also those that stand for Christ, that don't deny him. And one thing that we have that Peter didn't have that night
is we have the Holy Spirit's presence with us too,
to encourage us, to give us courage,
to stand up in the face of trials and temptations.
And so Peter didn't have that advantage.
He didn't have the advantage of the resurrection either,
of knowing that Christ rose from the dead something happened between the man
that denied christ that night and the man that preached on the day of pentecost fearlessly
what is that well there was the time he spent with jesus after the resurrection and
uh the presence of the holy spirit so um know, we need to always take into account,
yes, we're made of mud, you know.
We're made of dirt.
Dirt fails, okay?
But we also have something else now.
We have the promise of Jesus' resurrection,
which results in our resurrection.
We also have the promise of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in us
to give us courage, to make us fearless in the face of intense pressure and temptation.
And so I would encourage anyone that, you know, if you have some doubts about that,
think about what happened to Jesus, I mean, Peter later.
He experienced the resurrection.
He spent an intense 40 days with Jesus.
And then he was filled with the Holy Spirit.
You can have those experiences too.
You can be encouraged by the resurrection.
You can spend time with Jesus and his word.
You can have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
And so that encouraged me in that yes yes we have the holy spirit um you know while you're talking i was thinking doc and i
can't think of his name he was he was an anglican bishop from great britain who was the bishop of a church in the Middle East.
And I don't know if it was Syria.
I think it was Syria.
But back at sometime, oh, 2011, 12, 13, in that area when Barack Obama and the CIA and Mossad had organized, you know, an army of killers and called it ISIS.
Right.
You know, tried to make people believe these were Muslims who were killing Christians.
And it was just, no, it was a hard mercenary gang
anyhow I interviewed that bishop
was that Andrew White?
yes
and he told a story
about a young boy
I want to say 12 years old
that he baptized into
the faith.
And when ISIS came to the town, the boy was taken, and he was cut in half with a sword.
I remember that story.
Yes.
Oh, can you imagine?
You're watching a 12-year-old be sawn in half alive?
So those are extreme circumstances, and we hope it never happens to us,
but it has happened to other Christians.
It's happened to other christians it's happened to other christians in recent times so i don't want to ever boast and say i would never do something like that
i've never been in that situation i pray to god i never put in that situation
amen verse verse 72 and again he denied with an oath I do not know the
man here we go he's swearing he's swearing an oath he reinforces his claim
what did Jesus teach do not swear let your yay be a your navy name
so he's he's doing a double sin
he's lying and then affirming his lie with a an oath of course i'm not just lying i'm telling the truth about that lie yeah i swear i swear that this lie is the truth so it's a double sin
so the the denial evolves from a simple disavowal to one that's fortified by perjury.
He just perjured himself.
And if he was put on trial,
he could be convicted of perjury.
Just that alone.
The proof that he knew Jesus,
he'd be denying under oath, swearing he didn't.
And that would be easy to prove that he knew him.
So he's going deeper and deeper.
He's getting himself in a lot of hot water now.
He's now openly afraid of arrest.
He doesn't want to be arrested.
And so he reinforces his disassociation with Jesus with stronger language, swearing, under oath.
He doesn't know who he is.
Again, more people watching and listening.
You know that there were whispers whispers murmuring that guy's lying
I've seen him with Jesus
he's lying
and Peter knew
that people were murmuring
which only
increased his fear.
Doc,
Peter's progression from denial to perjury,
it teaches us about a slippery slope of fear-driven sin.
Right.
I mean, he's sliding down.
The second time, it's not just a denial.
It's an oath that his lie is the truth.
Yes.
He's going deeper into the mire.
He's going deeper into the quicksand.
He's digging his hole with his tongue.
Yes.
Have you ever dug a hole with your tongue?
The more you talk, the deeper you get into a mess.
Because you're trying to talk your way out of the situation you're in.
That's why Jesus said, let your yes be yes your no be no
don't have to say anything else
you don't have to swear
on a stack of Bibles
don't have to swear
on your mother's grave
look at all the things
that people say
I swear on a stack of Bibles
well the Bible says
don't swear
at all
well why would you swear on your mother's grave what's she got to do with it
and what's she going to do about it that's the part always got me which
what is she going to do she going to come out of there and testify
you're telling the truth?
I mean, just listen to the words
people speak.
I swear to God, hope to die.
Well, you better be...
Better hope not.
You better hope you don't die. you're committing a sin by swearing
all swearing is invokes the name of god whether you say his name or not
that's why you're not supposed to swear all swearing invokes god because it's saying now
god is backing it up god is giving a guarantee that this is true
so he just swore which meant god would testify that i don't know him that's why the sin is doubly severe because he's the swearing the oath
automatically brings God into the lie right he's already in trouble for
denying he knows the Son of God but now he's saying and god would tell you that i don't know him
there's that word i swear the oath see that's that's that's invoking the divine guarantee that what you're saying is true right
so fear can lead even the strongest believer to act against their principle.
Peter's denials were driven by fear and scrutiny.
He didn't want to be scrutinized.
He didn't want to be questioned.
He wanted to watch what was happening to Jesus, but he wanted to be invisible.
And yet people were recognizing him.
They were recognizing him because he spent three and a half years with Jesus.
Right.
Verse 73.
And after a while came unto him they that stood by and said to peter surely
thou also art one of them for thy speech betrays thee
he's his galilean dialect gave him away
in other words, you talk like
a hick.
You can't pronounce your words right.
I know where you
come from.
You come from up north.
Yeah, you're out there in Galilee
with the sheep.
That's what they're saying to him.
That his dialect, his accent, his pronunciation of words gave him away,
told everybody in the big city of Jerusalem, he's not one of us.
He's from out there in Galilee.
So this is probably about an hour after Peter's second denial.
And you've got bystanders,
including, if I understand, Doc, the relative of Malchus?
Yes.
Now, according to the Gospel of John,
and that relative of Malchus apparently witnessed Malchus' ear being cut off too.
So the relative was out there in the Garden of Gethsemane
and saw Peter chop off Malchus' ear.
And so that relative is there now in the courtyard because he traveled with the arresting party.
Right.
Peter stayed in the background.
He was close enough to the mob that arrested Jesus.
He was close enough to follow them,
but nobody paying
attention that he was behind them.
So
this relative of Malchus, Malchus is
the one that got his ear chopped off, this
relative is there, and he's
listening to
Peter. He's watching him, and he reckoned
and he goes, hey,
he chopped off my cousin's ear. You's watching him. He reckoned and he goes, hey, he chopped off
my cousin's ear.
You better watch him.
He knows how to swing a sword.
So
this confrontation
sets the stage for
the third and final denial.
And we move into verse 74.
Then began he to curse and swear, saying, I know not the man.
And immediately the the cock crowed.
He began to curse and swear,
saying, I don't know the man.
And the rooster crowed.
This one was the emphatic declaration this was the complete break with Jesus Christ this was
the one word Peter is now indignant where he is gritting his teeth he His face is tense.
He's got blood rushing to his face.
He's blood red now.
And he's cussing.
He's cursing and swearing.
There's some real foul words coming out of his mouth.
And remember, he's a fisherman so he yes
swear and cuss right he had cut him he had cut his hand before
fishing he had hurt himself before on the boat um and he knew how to cuss. He had been cheated out of money by clients.
He had been robbed of his merchandise,
and he knew how to cuss.
He was a fisherman.
Okay?
And so it all came pouring out of him.
If you want to know what's in somebody,
put them under pressure.
You squeeze them hard enough,
whatever's inside will come out.
And what was inside
Peter were some real vulgar foul words.
Obviously the Bible doesn't tell us.
We don't need to know.
They were some raunchy, foul,
curse words.
I mean, he wasn't just like,
oh, I'm upset, I'm mad.
I don't know him.
No, his face is blood red.
His eyeballs are popping out.
Right.
He's showing his teeth.
He's like, you understand me?
You no good blank, blank, blank.
You understand me?
I don't know him.
He's angry now.
And that word curse there isn't like we say
curse words and stuff
today. No, he was putting a
curse on himself.
May God strike me down
on this. You know, something along those
lines. We don't know what the exact words were.
But he went from giving an oath
before now
to putting a curse on himself.
That's the
progression of sin.
Thank God that
God's mercy
was greater than
Peter's stupidity
and that God did not carry
out his curse.
Aren't you glad in your lifetime
that God didn't do the things you said?
All of us.
Be grateful that God's mercy overrode our stupidity
and didn't give us the things that we asked for
in anger,
in fury,
in frustration.
Amen.
Boy, the things we've said in the past
before we came to know Jesus,
the things we've cursed ourselves with, Rick,
thank God he doesn't hold us to those things.
Wow.
So now all the inner turmoil, fear,
it comes pouring out of him.
He goes from being fearful to being furious his fear turned into fury yes
he did not want to be associated with jesus christ this is the total complete break
um the rooster crowed
just as Jesus had told him earlier
you will deny me three times
before the rooster crows in the morning
one of the gospel accounts
says that Peter looked, I mean that Jesus looked at Peter.
Yes.
Oh, Doc, I can't comprehend the expression that was on Jesus' face.
The sorrow, the sadness, the emotional pain.
And Peter saw it.
Yes.
They locked eyes.
Jesus and Peter locked eyes.
Yes.
Peter saw Jesus look at him yes Luke chapter 22
verses 60 and 61 says and Peter said man I know not what thou sayest and
immediately while he yet spake the cock crew and the Lord turned and looked upon Peter I mean can you imagine that just
know Jesus is I mean Jesus is up on an upper level there before the Jewish
elders and then he looks down and sees Peter. And Peter looks up and sees Jesus.
Y'all, it sends a chill down your spine thinking about it. It does.
I do because I try to imagine the look on Jesus' face of emotional pain, disappointment, sadness, sorrow. disappointment sadness sorrow that his dear friend Peter cursed him denied him was so afraid for his
own life that he he cursed and swore that he didn't know jesus christ and you know think of think of
your closest loved one the person that you love the most in this world telling a crowd of people
i don't know him i don't knowursing, just cursing at the suggestion that
they know you. Imagine the pain you would feel, the emotional pain that would sweep over you,
saying, I can't believe you just did that to me. I can't believe you betrayed me.
I mean, he's been betrayed by judas now he's been he's betrayed
by peter um i would uh i would ask all right so the sound of the rooster crowing, that is a sound that never left Peter's memory.
Till the day he died, till the day they crucified him on a cross.
I believe when he was on a cross, upside down, I believe Peter heard the rooster's crow again. He couldn't forget it. It was
his worst failure in life. The worst failure in life. He had done things wrong before. He had messed up. But this was a total, complete collapse.
This was moral bankruptcy.
You can't reach a greater state other than, I guess, Judas.
But Peter had reached the lowest point that he could ever go in his lifetime.
And the rest of his life, in the back of his mind, he heard the roosters.
Because Satan replayed it for him over and over and over.
Hey, Peter, big boy, you're up there preaching, up there healing people.
You remember when you denied him?
I guarantee you that went on throughout Peter's lifetime.
He was tormented by Satan reminding him.
You hear that, Ruth?
Look, Peter going into a town, a town he'd never been in in his life.
He goes in there to preach
the gospel. This is, I'm talking years after the resurrection. Peter goes into a town to
preach the gospel, and he hears a rooster crowing. The first thing that comes to his mind is, I deny the Lord.
But see,
Peter turned that
pain,
that failure,
he turned it into a
motivating
power.
Right.
So that every time he heard a rooster crow
and Satan says, hey, peter remember what you did
remember denying christ peter the rest of his life said
i will stand for christ more than i've ever stood today than i stood yesterday
yes i will proclaim christ bolder today than i did yesterday
that rooster can crow all he wants to but he just reminds me of grace it reminds me of forgiveness
it reminds me of the cross see satan wanted to torment p Peter his entire life with his failure.
Saying, Peter, the sound of a rooster should remind you you're a no good rotten skunk.
Yes.
But Peter said, I was then, but I'm not now.
And thank you for reminding me of grace and forgiveness because now I'm going to preach it.
And think about when a rooster crows.
When does a rooster crow?
Right before the sun comes up.
Yes.
The hope.
Every day we have the hope of resurrection every single day.
And, you know, a lot of people are familiar with the Christian symbol, you know, the fish and everything that was shared in the first century.
But a lot of people don't know that a lot of Christian graves and the catacombs and stuff, a lot of Christian graves were marked with a rooster.
Where did you know that?
It was a Christian symbol on a lot of Christian graves.
And so Christians embraced the rooster, if you will, and took it to heart.
They said, Lord, I did not deny you in my life.
That's the symbolism there.
I didn't know that.
Yeah.
Verse 75,
And Peter remembered the word of Jesus
and said unto him before the crop grow,
Thou shalt deny me thrice.
And he went out and wept bitterly.
Yes.
Jesus.
Peter left the courtyard,
found a secluded place of solitude, and wept and cried and sobbed for what he had done.
But I want to close this study of Matthew 26.
And I want to ask you this question.
It's a question that each of us need to ask ourselves.
What rooster is crowing in your life?
Praise God.
We all have a rooster crowing in our life.
It's the lowest point of our life.
There's a rooster that crows
in our life, in our minds,
in our memories.
And Satan will constantly
remind you of that rooster,
remind you of that failure,
saying,
you did it once, you'll do it again.
You're not who you think you are.
You're a low down, no good loser.
There are many types of failures.
It could be a financial business failure, bankruptcy. It could be a financial business failure,
bankruptcy, it could be a divorce,
it could be adultery, it could be
a number of things.
Right.
Satan will remind you
over and over, and if there's anybody
who knows about it, he'll bring those
people into your life to remind you about
that rooster.
There'll be human roosters in your life, crowing to remind you what you did 20 years ago.
Don't let them bring you down, but let that rooster crowing in your life remind you of grace and forgiveness and restoration and the goodness of God.
Turn it into a positive.
Because that's what Peter did the rest of his life.
He got over it. When Christ was resurrected,
Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit on Pentecost.
And it was Peter who immediately went out into the streets of Jerusalem
to the same people who had shouted to crucify Jesus.
And Peter went out into the streets of Jerusalem and preached Jesus Christ crucified
and raised from the dead.
Yes.
And the man that preached in the book of Acts
was not the man that denied Jesus.
That's the important thing.
Totally different man.
He's no longer a knucklehead.
He's no longer this old Peter. He's a new creature. He's no longer a knucklehead. He's no longer this old Peter.
He's a new creature.
He's been born again and filled with the Holy Spirit.
Praise God.
All right, that's it for today.
Tomorrow, chapter 27.
Praise the Lord.
And we are moving right along.
Rick, I'm going to have to pull out my notes.
I heard a black preacher one time preach
on what did the rooster say.
What did the rooster
say?
Don't get a chance to dig into that today.
