This is True News for Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Let's begin our analysis and commentary of today's top news by reviewing Sergei Lavrov's warning to American leaders. The article was published by Reuters today. As you see the headline, Lavrov warns U.S. not to mock Russia's red lines. And, Doc, Sergei Lavrov is never smiling. Yes, that is a smile for Sergei Lavrov. That's it right there. But he's dead serious about this one.

He said, don't laugh. You've already crossed our red lines. Right. And basically what he's saying is, you know, joking about red lines could be fatal. That's basically what he's the message he's delivering here. Reuters said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov responding to a question about the potential delivery of long range U.S. missiles to Ukraine warned the United States on Wednesday not to joke about Russia's red lines. Yes, and Mitchell Avera went on to say that the U.S. was losing sight of the sense of mutual deterrence that had underpinned the balance of security between Moscow and Washington since the Cold War and that this was dangerous. Now, he was –

Can I interrupt you, Tom? You know what he's referring to? The nuclear arsenal. Right. The idea that— We won't attack each other because we could basically annihilate each other. It's mutual destruction. The mad theory.

And so Lavrov is saying that American leaders are losing sight of that deterrence. And what prompted this? Well, he was commenting on a Reuters report that the U.S. is close to an agreement to supply Ukraine with those long-range joint-access cruise missiles that could reach deep inside Russia, for which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been lobbying now for a long time. I won't be surprised by anything. for which Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has been lobbying now for a long time. I won't be surprised by anything.

The Americans have already crossed the threshold they set for themselves. They're being egged on, and Zelensky, of course, sees this and takes advantage of it, Lavrov told a Russian TV interviewer. But they should understand that they are joking about our red lines here, and they shouldn't joke about our red lines. And then we have this article. This is from RT, Russia Today. U.S. knows Russia's red lines. This is also coming from Sergei Lavrov. The U.S. is well aware that any decision to supply Ukraine with long-range missiles crosses Moscow's red lines and can trigger a third world war. He said, quote, the Americans have already stepped over the red line that they set up, Lavrov told reporter Pavel Zarubin on Wednesday, referring to Washington's longstanding reluctance to provide Ukraine with weapons capable of

striking deep inside Russian territory. They're emboldened, he said, and Ukrainian leader Zelensky certainly sees this and uses it, but they need to understand they're joking about our red lines. Don't joke about our red lines. They know perfectly well what they are. And so Lavrov, Mr. Lavrov is not holding back anything in his opinion about this, that we're on the verge of World War III, the nuclear side of it anyway. Precisely. When Lavrov says they know perfectly well what they are, that is Russia's highest level diplomat saying, I have personally delivered to the U.S. ambassador,

or not the U.S. ambassador, but to the U.S. Secretary of State, his peer as far as the U.S., but to the U.S. secretary of state, his, you know, his peer as far as the U.S. Right. What he's saying is I have personally delivered to the highest levels of the U.S. government what will happen if you cross the red lines. We we have told you what the red lines are and we have told you what the consequences will be. That's what he's saying. They know perfectly well what they are. He said, we've delivered it in writing.

You have it. And not only have you crossed our red lines, you crossed your own red lines yes meaning the Biden administration has said throughout this year we won't allow Ukraine to attack inside Russia right which was a red line for us but we violate our own red lines there Newsweek Doc I saw this one yesterday I saw the video the article I saw this one yesterday. I saw the video, the article I saw today. But the video is chilling. This is Newsweek, how Ukraine is retrofitting drones as flamethrowers. This is chilling.

We're going to show you the video in just a moment. But first, we'll tell you what Newsweek said about it. Yes, the Ukrainian military has started deploying drones retrofitted with thermite payloads, effectively transforming its lethal fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles into potent flamethrower weapons. Footage shared by Ukraine's 108th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade shows these drones releasing streams of molten thermite wreck over enemy positions, resulting in large plumes of smoke billowing from the impact zones. Now, the widely circulated video highlights the destructive capability of these modified drones as the thermite ignites upon contact, creating an inferno capable of obliterating Russian positions. Thermite is still considered less lethal than white phosphorus or napalm.

When ignited, thermite, a mixture of metal powder and metal oxide, can reach temperatures high enough to melt through steel. And as Rick mentioned, we have some video here we're going to share with you. So those that are watching us, it's on video here. You can actually see a drone here in the center of the picture dropping thermite, molten thermite. It's going down a tree line. Yes. Obviously dropping thermite because there might be tanks or military armament hidden in the trees. And soldiers too.

Soldiers in the tree line. So this is a new phase in the war, the drone warfare that has started out. This is an overview showing where the drone strike. It is terrifying. Can you imagine a drone coming across your neighborhood? And basically cutting through and melting anything, metal, flesh, whatever it is that's in its way. So I wonder if Israel used these drone flamethrowers in Gaza. Well, don't give them any ideas, Rick.

I mean, they probably have. Some of the videos I saw, there was one in particular, children screaming. It was horrible screaming. Yes, I remember the tent city. The tents. And the tents were on fire, and the children were screaming. And so I wonder whether the Israelis used a drone flamethrower with thermite, just moved it across the tent city, and burned up everybody in the tents.

Yes, very well could be. Watch that video again. This is a drone that is spraying thermite. It's liquid fire. Look at this. Going down a tree line, burning up anything and everything in that tree line. Can you imagine being a soldier in there and knowing that thing's coming? It's just, it is stunning and horrifying to think about the attack that could be in place there.

How wicked and depraved is the human race? Well, we prove ourselves over and over again that we can be totally depraved, Rick. I'm telling you, World War III, there will be weapons you have never imagined. They have one, right? Who could imagine liquid metal falling from the sky? And do you think the Ukrainians came up with that technology on their own? Of course not. The Americans are testing it on Russian troops. Newsweek, this is also Russia Today.

U.S. made multiple rocket launchers destroyed in Ukraine. So the Russians are hitting as many of the HIMARS as they can hit. And this took place today. A Russian missile hit a concealed Ukrainian position where two U.S.-made multiple rocket launch systems were deployed, according to the Russian Defense Ministry today. And we got a video showing, reportedly showing the U.S.-made HIMARS being destroyed. So this is an overview here. This is provided by Russian forces and showing the destruction of Ukrainian-based U.S.-made HIMARS that are being destroyed.

And so this is actually, was several hundred miles deep within Ukraine. And so obviously Russia has the ability to strike within central Ukraine. Of course. So – and that's why I'm of the opinion that we have yet to see what the bear is going to do. This is – they're meticulous. They're surgical right now. But if we continue down this path, we're going to see anger being unleashed. Newsweek reporting NATO nation scrambles aircraft during Russian attack on Ukraine.

Right. So Poland scrambled aircraft to protect its airspace on Wednesday as Russian missiles and drones targeted Ukraine's western city of Lviv. The Polish Air Force said in a statement that the aircraft were launched as Russia carried out strikes in Ukraine's western territory. We have this quote, this has been another very tense night for the entire Polish air defense system due to the observed activity of Russian long-range aircraft as coming from Polish Armed Forces Operational Command. The last such increased activity of Russian long-range aviation was recorded earlier in September this year. Okay, so, Doc, this happened today.

Right. Poland scrambling Polish military aircraft to guard its airspace as Russian missiles headed towards a Ukrainian city. Why is this important today? Because yesterday, the story that we reported yesterday was that Poland has warned it will shoot down Russian missiles over Ukrainian airspace. Correct. So the significance of this story today, coming less than 24 hours later, is that Poland scrambled its military aircraft preparing to shoot down the missiles. Right. We're getting really close to a direct confrontation between a NATO member and Russia.

Right. Now, Lviv, for folks that are kind of wondering how to place this, it's only 50 miles from the Polish border. So it's not that far from the Polish border. And at one time, that area of western Ukraine was part of Poland. Lviv was a Polish city at one time. And so we're seeing all the characters get in place here for this as this confrontation continues to escalate. Rick?

Doc, there were some news reports that came out yesterday and today about Ukraine receiving a debt refinancing deal. Yes. And the main story, I think, I'm trying to remember if it was Reuters or Bloomberg that first published it. It was quite long. RT has a more condensed version of it. And this is what I want you to see. Look at the headline. Rothschild helped Ukraine clinch debt restructuring. It was a Reuters report. The headlines just write themselves, don't they, Rick? If I would have said, hey, Rick, did you know that the rothschilds were

financing the crane's debt of course they are no if you if you would have said it before it'd been conspiracy theory right or anti-semitic right and even if you say it now it's still it's still concerns conspiracy theory and anti-Semitic. But it's a fact. The Rothschild banking family is financing Ukraine's debt. That's the bottom line. There's big

money in war. Yes. A lot of money. So Ukraine reached its recent agreement with bondholders on a debt restructuring as a result of efforts by Rothschild and company. Reuters reported Tuesday, citing sources involved in the talks, Kiev appointed Rothschild as an advisor to its finance ministry in 2017. Kiev announced last week that it had reached that agreement with a group of foreign investors to restructure its $20 billion of debt. Bondholders, including RIC, U.S. financial giants BlackRock and PIMCO, as well as French asset manager Amundi, granted Ukraine a two-year debt freeze in February 2022 when the conflict with Russia broke out.

The Bondholders Committee, which represents the holders of 25% of the bonds, has agreed to accept losses. Listen to that. They've agreed to accept losses of 37% or $8.7 billion on the nominal value of the debt. Now, let that weigh in on folks just a little bit. What's the purpose of financial organizations or bond groups and everything. What's their purpose? What's their primary goal? What are they supposed to do?

Well, it's always to make money. Make money. All right. So why are they taking a hit right now? They took a 37% haircut. Yes. Why? Because they see the potential for making more money later on.

Well, let's say the Rothschilds see the potential. Because the Rothschild family stepped in, and I think the haircut would have been a lot worse. Okay, I see what you're saying. The haircut was going to be a lot worse, and the Rothschilds stepped in and said, we'll back this deal for a couple years. We'll finance this war a little longer. You guys will only lose 37%.

BlackRock and PIMCO. You guys will only lose 37%. And BlackRock and PIMCO said, you know what? We're in a mess. We better go with the Rothschild deal and take our losses and get out of this later. Because it says the report highlighted that initial negotiations between the Ukrainian government and its lenders that started in June 2022. So the war started in February 22. Right. The negotiations to refinance the debt did not go to plan.

Obviously, it was a war. Talks failed after a couple of weeks as the core committee of bondholders complained that the write-down Ukraine was demanding was significantly in excess of the 20% expected and risked doing substantial damage to relations. So, Doc, go back to June 2022. Ukraine was demanding a 20% haircut. And BlackRock and PIMCO said, no way. The losses would be substantial, substantial damage. Here we are now in 24, and they agreed to a 37% write-down. And that's with the Rothschild investment, right?

So, again, RT is saying, with less than two months until the August 22 payment moratorium expired, Rothschild reportedly arranged face-to-face meetings for the sides at the firm's offices in Paris. These reportedly involve representatives of some of the world's top asset management firms and their legal and financial advisors, including Ukraine's legal advisor, White & Case, and the Rothschilds' team. So the Rothschild family is right in the middle of financing Ukraine for this war. Well, they're kind of in the middle of all wars, aren't they? But see, that's a conspiracy theory, Doc. Okay.

It's just happening again. I will admit it's a conspiracy theory, Doc. Okay. It's just happening again. I will admit it's a conspiracy. I don't think it's a theory. But if anybody's around 100 years from now and they're still doing podcasts, somebody will be saying, you know, back there in the 20, 24, you know, the Rothschilds was financing both sides of the war. And people are going to say, that's a conspiracy theory. No, it's the way business is done.

Now, here's another one. What a story this is. Oh, this isn't getting very much press. No, it's not. Ex-HOKL, Governor HOKL, and Cuomo aide and husband worked as foreign agents for China. Splurged millions on mansion, Hawaii condo, Ferrari, according to federal agents. top assistant to the governor of New York, who also worked for the previous governor of New York, and worked before that for a woman who is currently a U.S. congresswoman. Turned out she was a Chinese spy. Yes, and she's been arrested for this.

A former high-ranking aide for Governor Kathy Hochul and disgraced Governor Andrew Cuomo was arrested alongside her husband Tuesday on charges she acted as a foreign agent for China in exchange for millions of dollars in kickbacks and fancy perks such as salted ducks. She worked for salted ducks? Hey, I guess they're good enough to work for. The damning 64-page indictment accuses Linda Soon and her husband, Christopher Hu, of laundering and splurging their corrupt gains on a gaudy $4 million Manhasset mansion, a $2 million second home in a Honolulu high-rise, say that three times facts, and luxury cars like a 2024 Ferrari Roma. Now, Soon shadily used her position, I like how the New York Post put this, under Hochul and Cuomo, who are unnamed but clearly referenced in the court documents, to turn the governor's office into a virtual mouthpiece for the People's Republic of China and Chinese, obviously that's not a community party, but communist party, the bombshell indictment contends. Can we stop here, Doug?

The feds are accusing this woman of turning the New York governor's office into the mouthpiece of China and the Chinese Communist Party. That's what they're saying here at this point, Rick. They're implying that Chinese Communist propaganda was coming from the governor's office through press releases? Is that what they're saying? That's the accusation here at this point, Rick. Wow. Now, at several points soon, bragged to Chinese consulate officials about effectively blocking Cuomo and Hochul from meeting with or publicly even mentioning Taiwan, including when the disputed island sent 200,000 much-needed masks to New York during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the defendant, Linda Soon, received substantial economic and other benefits

from representatives of the PRC government and the CCP, including the facilitation of millions of dollars in transactions for the PRC-based business activities of Soon's husband, the defendant Chris Yu, the indictment reads. Now, it goes on to say in this article, and emotionalist Soon and Hu both pleaded not guilty to sprawling charges of violating and conspiring to violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act, visa fraud, alien smuggling, and money laundering conspiracy during a 30-minute arraignment hearing

in a Brooklyn federal court Tuesday afternoon. Both Soon and Who were released on $1.5 million and $500,000 bonds, respectively, but will have their travel limited to New York City, Long Island, Maine, and New Hampshire while the case is pending. So they're out on bond. They're roaming around. Yeah, they can post bond.

After all, they've got their money. They can post bond. They post a bond with the Chinese Communist Party money, dog. It's a great job if you can get it. But this is only just one story. I believe there are Chinese agents spread throughout the nation. They're all through government agencies. Absolutely.

Political offices in this country. And Canada. And the news media and corporations. China has deeply infiltrated the United States of America. Now, a video was discovered of this Chinese spy, Ms. Hu, and she was working inside the governor's office and promoting diversity. Diversity, equity, and I forget what the I is. So what's important here is that she's not promoting equality. She's promoting equity. Yes. All right.

So why am I bringing this up? Equity is the new communist buzzword. Yes. It's one thing to say Doc and I are equal it's another one to say we have equity which means whatever i have he owns the same amount that's equity yes okay that's a communist concept yes so when you hear these people on television talking about equity. Understand that either they themselves are communists and they know it, or they've been indoctrinated in communism and don't know it. Let's watch. I think, you know, when people say diversity and inclusion, I think everybody agrees or most people generally agree that it's a good thing.

Right. But I think right now, we also need to bring in the word equity, right? Diversity is when you say that there's, you know, many different types of people with different backgrounds, and they're all, you know, invited to the table. Inclusion is when, you know, we include all of their ideas. But equity is when we make sure that all of the people who are at the table have equal access to making sure that their ideas and their thoughts are heard. And unfortunately, I think some of the statistics that you quoted is that we don't have that much leadership or representation of Asian Americans in, you know, the corporate world, the government field, right? And it's to the point that Sandra had talked about,

just we don't necessarily see people who look like us. And for myself, as well as Sandra, we both consider Congresswoman Grace Meng to be an amazing friend as well as mentor, because I got my start in government and politics because of her. I joined her campaign, you know, back in 2008, and was able to sort of work hand in hand with the community to understand what it is that the community needs in terms of money, in terms of resources, in terms of assistance. That means that when you're hiring, right, if there's 10 candidates, there's somebody who says, well, where's the diverse candidate? You can't come to me and say, oh, all 10 candidates are from the same background. They're all the same ethnicity. They all have the same backgrounds. Right.

Where there has to be other ways that you are bringing diverse candidates to the table. If there's 10 candidates, there should be at least five people in that pool who also happen to be diverse candidates. So is it reasonable to ask the question whether the DEI movement has been inspired and funded and managed by the China Communist Party? Oh, I absolutely believe that. There was a Chinese communist spy. And she's under arrest for that right now. Yes. So make no bones about it.

She's under arrest for that very thing. And she turned the New York governor's office into the mouthpiece of the Communist Party. And what was she mouthing? D-E-I. Communist propaganda. And she mentioned a Congresswoman Ming. Yes. She worked for her before she was a Congresswoman.

And I believe Congresswoman Ming, I believe, is Taiwanese. But I wonder how Congresswoman Ming is, what she's thinking today as she sees her former protege, protege work. I mean, now arrested as a Chinese spy. But you have to go back now and you have to you have to examine everything Congresswoman Ming has done. You have to look at everything Governor Hochul has done. Yes. done. You have to look at everything Governor Hochul has done. And Governor Cuomo. Did they knowingly or unknowingly advance

Chinese Communist Party doctrines? And she is of Taiwanese background just to, Congresswoman Ming is rather. So she has to be looking back now. I've had a member of the CCP working on my staff.

I mean, a few years ago, you had California Senator Feinstein. Her top Senate aide, who had worked for her for 10, 15 years, turned out to be a Chinese spy. The only difference is I think she knew it. I think a lot of these people know it, Doc. I'm of the conviction that we have been sold out that many

of our leaders are members of the Communist Party. And they aren't necessarily Chinese either. They're not Chinese. They are American members of the China Communist Party. Joe Biden is bought and paid for. Tens of millions of dollars to the Biden family. Yes.

Whether he believes in communism or not, he is a puppet. Right. A paid puppet. Right. A paid puppet. And the Biden administration, previously the Obama administration, accelerated visa approvals for Chinese citizens. But to be fair, the Trump family also had its own program in trying to get visas for Chinese citizens, too. Mr. Trump's son-in-law and daughter were in China selling visas. How to make a major investment in America and get a U.S. passport. So it's both sides. And then we wonder, well, where did all these Chinese spies come from? And then what about the, you know, 10,000 or so young Chinese men crossing the border every month?

Yes. That no one's seen them do anything about. Doc, if it's 10,000 a month, in one year, that's 120,000 young Chinese age fighting men who could be PLA soldiers. Right, and it doesn't cause any questions, any curiosity. I don't care who it was. If there were 10,000 French coming across the border every month or 10,000 Somalians, whatever that number was, it doesn't matter. During the campaign I just ran for Congress, one West Palm Beach television station kind of mockingly referred to Wiles as one of Wiles' planks in his platform as he believes the Chinese are coming across the border. They said it in a mocking way. Like I was a crack why do you why do you believe that rick because i saw the video of them coming across the border and even cbs news said it was disturbing when you can make cbs news disturb

you know it's really bad so it doesn't matter what you say. I mean, we have a congressman who wears an Israeli military uniform. Right. Nobody cares. Why not a Chinese uniform, a Russian uniform? It doesn't matter. The Americans have been, they just... Nothing gets anybody upset anymore. Nothing. The fluoride

has worked. Senator Josh Hawley appeared on Fox News with Jesse Waters, and he made some startling comments about what was going on that day that Donald Trump was almost killed. This is New York Post. Most agents guarding Trump during assassination attempt were Homeland Security personnel who took a two-hour online webinar. This is shocking information here, folks. I mean, it really is.

Unless you wanted Trump to die. Right. And it directly contradicts testimony already presented before Congress. And Hawley gets into this here in our video clip in just a moment. But Senator Josh Hawley says he's been informed by whistleblowers that most of the agents, listen to this, folks, assigned to protect Donald Trump during the assassination attempt on July 13th in Butler, Pennsylvania, were Homeland Security personnel who had minimal protective training. Instead of having dozens of Secret Service agents on his detail for the July 13th rally, President Trump was mostly guarded by Homeland Security agents who only received online webinar training before the event.

And the audio didn't work during the webinar. They were losing audio. And you wonder why Trump was almost killed? Because this was a deliberate operation to allow an assassin to shoot Trump, but to do it in a way that you could say it was due to government incompetence. Let's watch the video. So what now are we hearing from whistleblowers, Senator? Well, what I've heard tonight, Jesse, is that most of the agents who were there at that rally in Butler were not Secret Service agents. They were, in fact, Homeland Security agents. And get this, most of those Homeland Security agents, the only training that they received was an online webinar, a two-hour online webinar. And I'm told that about half the time, the sound to the webinar didn't even work. So think about this. The president of the United States, former president of the United States, Donald Trump, is sent out on stage. Most of the people there aren't trained. They're not qualified. They only got a webinar training and even that didn't work. It is

absolutely outrageous. You're saying, and if we're to believe that there's this big Iranian threat, that this is coming down the pike and they had to beef up security, their idea of beefing up security was not putting more secret service agents and counter snipers was just throwing in a bunch of guys that have never done this before from Homeland Security and sending them into some Zoom training that didn't work. That's exactly right. I'm told that actually agents, Homeland Security agents were pulled off of child exploitation cases, child endangerment cases, the stuff they normally do. They don't normally do protective detail work at all. They were pulled off those cases, said, here, you're going to go guard the former president of the United States.

Watch this webinar. Oops, it doesn't really work. That's all right. Go out into the field anyway. Jesse, this is a nightmare. And we still have no answers. The only reason we know this stuff is because of whistleblowers. It's outrageous. That is absolutely crazy. I can't even wrap my head around it. When you heard the first story about this counter-sniper shoot, I thought it was the guys on the high roof. Then I heard it was the guys farther away. And now I'm hearing the first shot that was gotten off was by a local and he wasn't even perched. He was on the ground. Yeah, all I can say is that is not what the director told Congress. And you just played the clip. I was sitting right there in the Senate when he testified that it was a Secret Service counter sniper who neutralized the threat that is took out crooks. He said nothing about another sniper, a local, nothing at all. Jesse, this is a pattern now. Why aren't these guys out there, Secret Service and FBI, doing regular briefings, answering questions, giving us

answers. They're not doing any of that. They're hoarding the information. They're keeping it from the public and it, this has gone on too long. I mean, people have got to get fired for this. No, they do. Absolutely. Well, thank you so much again, Senator Hawley and hopefully these whistleblowers continue to talk to your office. We appreciate it. Thank you. You know, you've got to go beyond firing. They need to be imprisoned. They need to probably go further than that. If you're going to talk about firing, yes, you could have some firing, but a different type of firing. Right. Donald Trump was almost killed because there was a conspiracy inside the U.S. government to assassinate Donald Trump.

Right. Or to get out of the way to allow the assassination to occur. They said they brought in all these Homeland Security agents. Where were the Secret Service? Yes. Were they up guarding Mrs. Biden down in Pittsburgh that day? Is that where all the Secret Service agents were? Because she was in Pittsburgh about an hour and 15 minutes away that day.

So are they limited on how many Secret Service agents that they have? I mean, we're talking here the former president who is the nominee of the Republican Party for president. Right. There aren't that many high-profile people you have to guard. The president and his family. Right. The vice president. There aren't that many high-profile people you have to guard. The president and his family, the vice president, and the leading candidate for president. Right. Who is out making public appearances where he is prone to being possibly attacked. And add to that, as both Waters and Hawley pointed out,

supposedly there was this big Iranian threat, right, that we didn't hear about until after the assassination attempt, of course. But if that's true, then shouldn't they have beefed up security? Not say, hey, let's bring in the junior varsity team over at Homeland Security. Give them a two-hour seminar. That doesn't work. And think about these Homeland Security guys, too. They're in the Zoom meeting, and they're receiving information. By the way, guys, congratulations.

You're going to be on the president's detail. What? I've never had any kind of training like that. And they had no idea there was an assassin waiting on them. They had no idea. That's why there's an assassin on the roof. And you see these government agents on the ground walking around.

They don't know what to do. Even that boggles my mind. You're a Homeland Security agent. The former president of the United States is on the stage. There's a shooter on the roof and you don't know what to do. That boggles my mind. The whole thing was a setup and i love josh hawley but say it senator why won't you say it why won't any of these republicans say it because they know what

they're going to be accused of that's well no, they're afraid of more than that. They're afraid they're going to get popped. Yeah, well, that's true, too. I mean, if they can reach the president of the United States, they can reach a senator from Missouri. A lot easier, too. the fact that our FBI, and now we realize Secret Service, is corrupt and capable of killing

political opponents. When are we going to deal with this? Obviously, we're not. Nobody wants to talk about it. I feel like we're living in, you know, Venezuela, Cuba. Where everybody knows the truth.

Haiti. This is like Haiti. At least in Haiti, you know they're corrupt. Yes. Well, and Venezuela and other countries, too. At least, you know, they know that it's all fake, that it's all corrupt. They know the truth. But here in the U.S., we know it too. We just

refuse to acknowledge it. And so the corrupt people become more corrupt. They become more bold because there's no pushback. Everybody's afraid to say the obvious. They know what

it is. They know, but they won't say it. It's like Biden. Everybody knows he's bought off by China, but they won't say it. Right. Speaking of Secret Service and Biden, I don't have a video to show you, but I saw this last week. You know, they were just it was one of the TV networks. They're talking about Biden on vacation.

Right. You know, he said, I guess Rehoboth Beach or someplace in Delaware. And there's President Biden sitting on his beach chair with an umbrella. Cooler. Yeah, I saw the same video. You only see from the back. You assume it's Joe Biden. We're told that's joe biden but there are people walking up and down the beach around him in front of him behind him yeah i saw the same

video if that's the president any one of those people could have shot him and you're telling me the Secret Service is sitting in the back, sipping on a cold drink, eating a hot dog, and you're watching Joe Biden sitting there? And people are just walking in front of him, behind him. Totally bizarre. Just don't believe the theater. I don't either. It's all theater. Speaking of theater. Truly kabuki.

So Donald Trump told a podcaster, Lex Friedman, that he will release the Jeffrey Epstein files, including the Epstein black book. Good luck. It's interesting he made this promise because that says he's not in the Black Book. Right? Well. Unless he found a way to get his name out of it, you know? From your mouth to God's ears. So this is what Mr. Trump told Lex Friedman about what he plans to do with the Jeffrey Epstein documents. But a lot of big people went to that island.

But fortunately, I was not one of them. It's just very strange for a lot of people that uh the list of clients that went to the island has not been made public yeah it's it's very interesting isn't it probably will be by the way so if you're able to you'll be yeah certainly take a look at it now kennedy's interesting because it's so many years ago you know they do that for danger too, because, you know, it endangers certain people, etc., etc. So Kennedy is very different from

Yeah, so who? And I agree with that. It's a machine. Right. It's a machine. Machines don't have opinions. But people do. The programmers are humans.

And the humans who programmed Alexa are biased. So, yes, AI is biased. You can ask. I've been doing research for books that I'm working on. Right. And I'm asking some really... And it's historical. The question is I'm asking.

Right. And I'm getting pushback from AI. In fact, I've actually had my account frozen by my AI account, where it literally froze and would not answer any more questions. Yes. Because I was asking questions people shouldn't ask. Right.

I've had it, too, where I've been doing research, and it flat out lied. Oh, yes. And I had to give the reference, wait a minute, this reference work here says this. How do you respond? They said, oh, I made a mistake. Well, then you're not intelligent, are you? What the hoo-ha? No, you know what it is.

But today, we will look at verses 33 through 41. It's the second parable in chapter 21. Let's pray. Father, our Father in heaven, thank you, Father, for your abundant goodness. Father, we invite your Holy Spirit into this morning manna Bible study to lead us, to illuminate us, to enlighten us

with your wonderful word. In the name of Jesus, amen. Amen. As Rick said, we are still in chapter 21. We're going to pick up today at verse 33 and verse 41 today. So if you've got your Bibles, let's go ahead and read here. I'm reading from the King James Version verse 33 here another parable there was a certain householder which planted a vineyard and hedged it round about and digged a wine press in it and built a tower and let it out the husband and went into the far country and when the time of the fruit drew near he sent his servants to the husbandmen that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants and beat one and killed another and stoned another.

Again, he sent other servants more than the first, and they did unto them likewise. But last of all, he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. But when the husbandmen saw the son they said among themselves this is the heir come let us kill him let us seize on his inheritance and they caught him and cast him out of vineyard and slew him when the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh what will he do unto those husbandmen they these being the chief priests God bless the reading of His Word today. All right, this is one of my favorite parables to teach. There's a lot packed in it.

Verse 33. Hear another parable. There was a certain householder which planted a vineyard and hedged it roundabout and digged a wine press in it and built a tower and let it out to husbandmen and went into a far country he said we're going to break it down there's a number of things in this verse that we can break down and examine in more detail so jesus introduced another parable to the pharisees and he said here another parable uh he's he's shifting his focus to a new illustration it's kind of like he said hey if you didn't like the last parable you're definitely not going to

like this one and then he said now there was a certain householder again i love to just imagine the facial expressions of jesus his hand gestures his body language as he spoke he's looking in the eyes of men who plan to kill him and he knows it and he says there is a certain householder. A householder is the landowner. He's the patriarch of the estate. The land belongs entirely to him. That's the householder. The other key actors in this parable are identified as husbandmen.

I'm going to refer to them as tenants. They are tenants who lease the vineyard from the householder. So in this parable, the tenants represent the Jewish rulers, such as the Pharisees, the scribes, the priests, the rabbis. So in verse 33, the householder initiated six actions. Number one, he planted a vineyard. Number two, he set a hedge about it. Number three, he dug a wine press in it. Number four, he built a tower. Number five, he leased it out to farmers. And number six,

he went into another country. A householder which planted a vineyard. The parable begins with the description of a certain householder. Not any householder. This is a certain householder, a very specific householder, who planted a vineyard. Now, the Pharisees already knew what the vineyard represented. Isaiah 5, verses 1 through 7. This is God seven this is this is god singing let me sing for my well-beloved a song of my beloved about his vineyard my beloved had a vineyard on a very fruitful hill he dug it up he gathered out his stones he planted it with the choices vine he built a tower in the

middle of it and also cut out a wine press everything everything that jesus just said in this parable is in the first one or two verses of Isaiah 5. Right. So they knew what he was talking about. They knew exactly what it was. And Isaiah goes on and said, he looked, talking about who? He. This is Isaiah speaking.

He looked for it to yield grapes. This is the owner of the vineyard but it yielded wild grapes now inhabitants of jerusalem and men of judah please judge between me and my vineyard what could have been done more to my vineyard that I have not done in it? Why? When I looked for it to yield grapes, did it yield wild grapes? Now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard. I will take away its hedge, and it will be eaten up.

I will break down its wall, and it will be eaten up i will break down its wall and it will be trampled down i will lay it a wasteland i won't be pruned or hope but it won't be pruned or hoed but it will grow briars and thorns i will also command the clouds that they reign no more on it. For the vineyard of Yahweh of armies is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant. And he looked for justice, but behold, oppression. For righteousness, but behold, a cry of distress. Those words were spoken by Isaiah many centuries before Jesus delivered this prop this parable to the Pharisees right those Pharisees

were the the offspring of the Pharisees who heard this from Isaiah. Spiritually, they were their offspring. So God is the owner of the vineyard. The vineyard symbolizes Israel. The husbandmen, the tenants, are the Jewish rulers, the priests, the rabbis, the Pharisees, the scribes. And they are entrusted to be the stewards of the vineyard. God owns the vineyard.

The land is his. The land does not belong to the people. The land belongs to God. You got it. And if these Christian Zionists knew their Bible, they would know that Palestine belongs to God. He rented the vineyard to the husbandmen

to produce a harvest. So the vineyard symbolizes God's deliberate establishment of Israel as his chosen people and the privilege given to them. According to the parable,

the householder took meticulous care of the vineyard to make sure it was well furnished and in excellent condition when he handed it over to them which indicates god's excellent care his generosity toward the jewish people now let's consider the effort that the householder undertook to turn over this excellent vineyard

to the tenants. Remember what God said through Isaiah? What more could I have done? He listed all the things he did and he said, what more could I have done for this vineyard? He hedged it roundabout. The hedge is a fence.

The fence surrounding the vineyard represents God's divine protection and the privileges bestowed upon Israel as a chosen people. And it included the covenant promises. Right. The hedge separated the Israelites from all other nations. Said, you're a peculiar people. I'm going to hedge, put a hedge around you. You're separated from all the other people

in the world. The act of hedging signified God's protection and his separation of Israel from other nations. He maintained their distinctiveness as a chosen people.

The hedge also represents the moral and ceremonial laws given to Israel that guided them in righteous living, in distinguishing them as God's special possessions. A hedge is a wall, and a wall is a barrier. A wall prevents people from getting in, but a wall also prevents people from getting out. That's true. So the wall, the hedge was put there to say, here are your parameters. Stay inside these walls. There's safety and blessing inside these walls.

So the first thing the vineyard owner did was he built a hedge, a wall around the vineyard. And then he digged a wine press in it. The purpose of a wine press is to make wine. The purpose of a vineyard is to produce grapes to make wine. Why would you own a vineyard if you didn't plan to have grapes? Why would you have grapes if you didn't plan to make wine so the digging of the wine press indicates the preparation for the harvesting the processing of grapes to produce wine the preparation the wine press within the vineyard

indicates God's expectation of fruitfulness that's right and the provision he made for the gathering and the utilization of the vineyard's produce which symbolized the spiritual offerings and worship and praise of the people right god god

didn't build all this just create busy work for the tenants he expected a harvest and he expected a product from the harvest so the householder here who we know to be god but the householder here, who we know to be God, but the householder had an expectation of the future, a future harvest and a future reward, not just for himself, but really for the tenants as well. They could participate in this as well because they were active in helping produce it. They only had to share a portion of the harvest. Yes. They got to keep a portion of the harvest. Yes.

They got to keep the rest of it. So the wine press was a symbol of the labor and the fruitfulness expected from Israel. But at the same time, the wine press represented potential divine judgment. Yes. So the imagery of the wine press also foreshadows the suffering and sacrifice by Jesus. We observe the Lord's Supper

by drinking juice from grapes now some doc I don't know I mean some some scholars interpret the wine press as the temple the place of worship possible what's the next thing the vineyard owner did he built a tower the building of a tower within the vineyard served the practical purposes of observation and defense against threats and that represented God's provision of protection and oversight of Israel. And it also provided shelter to the tenants from heat, rain, and snow. So the husbandmen, the tenants who leased the vineyard, were responsible to utilize the tower to guard the vineyard from intruders and thieves. They were guarding more than their own self-interest.

They had an obligation to guard the householder's interest as well as their own. Because he expected to earn a profit from the vineyards annual harvest so they had two obligations one to themselves but also to the owner of the vineyard the next thing the vineyard owner did and let it out to husbandmen the King James translators used the word let it's just a an english word that means to lease we don't use it here in the usa but it means to lease to rent so the leasing of the vineyard to the tenants for cultivation was was a common practice of land management for profit so the pharisees understood this whole parable so the householder leased his vineyard

to tenant farmers the tenant farmers the renters of the property, represented Israel's priests, elders, religious leaders, and I think the civil governmental authorities who were entrusted with the responsibility of caring for God's people and guiding them in righteousness. I mean, who was in the palace at Israel old Herod was he leading the people towards righteousness no way he was as wicked as you could become so God hired these tenants their vineyard workers to They're vineyard workers to oversee his vineyard, to nurture the spiritual growth

and fruitfulness of his vineyard, which in this parable represents God's chosen people, who at that time were the Jewish people. And then the last thing that the vineyard owner did he went into a far country that signifies god's apparent withdrawal and absence from israel during the period of time when the jewish people were left to themselves to live under the law and fulfill

their covenant obligations without direct divine intervention. I mean, just the time span between Malachi and John the Baptist was 400 years. Yes. God was silent. he wasn't invisible i mean he was observing he was

watching but he was saying to the jews i gave you a vineyard i what more could i do i i made a wine press i put a wall a, a hedge around it. I built a tower. I bought the choices of wine. Look what I did for you. I'm going to watch you. I'm going to see what you do with my vineyard. So the parable implies that God turned over to the husbandmen, meaning the Jewish religious rulers,

the responsibility to care for his vineyard, to protect it, to nurture it, and to ensure the production of an abundant harvest of righteousness that would be acceptable to God. Verse 34. And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen that they might receive the fruits of it. And when the time of the fruit drew near. That term, the time of the fruit, refers to the vintage season,

when the fruits of the vineyard are ripe and ready for gathering. It is a signal to the tenants that it's time to fulfill their obligations to the owner in this verse jesus describes the anticipation of the owner representing god for the time when the fruit of the vineyard is ready to be harvested symbolizing the expectation of a return on his investment in his people. Yes, God expects an ROI, a return on investment. Now, keep in mind, the householder has made a major capital investment in this vineyard. First of all, he had to buy the land. He had to invest in planting a vineyard. When you plant a vineyard,

it's not a single season fruit or anything like that. No, you're planting for decades. When you plant a vineyard, you're planting fruit that you are expecting a harvest to be produced annually for decades you're looking way down the line you know there are some vineyards in uh france a handful of vineyards in france have been around since uh the time of the roman empire so vineyards last a long time so there's the capital investment the land the planting of the vineyard itself building the hedge building the tower so the householder had a major capital investment in improvements to the property if you will and he expected his costs to be covered and he also expected to make a profit a profit they wanted a return on investment roi so today in america it would cost what over 10 million dollars to to go into farming you'd have to buy the land there's going to be millions of dollars you have to build the barns you have to buy the

tractors and the combines and all the equipment you have to buy the livestock look at the investment you would put into a new farm if you went into farming new today i i doubt if you could get a seriously productive farm going for less than 10 million who would do that and not expect a profit you'd be out of your mind you'd you'd be broke and people who think like that never have 10 million dollars to invest that's right so never have ten million dollars to invest that's right so God expects a return on investment he has invested a lot in you and me he's got 71 years invested in me. And he has a right to expect a harvest from our lives.

Are we offering him delicious fruit or bitter fruit? Are our lives, are the branches from our lives hanging low with an abundance of spiritual fruit or are our branches barren and fruitless god expects a harvest and he expects a return on his investment he is an excellent businessman he invests in souls that's the currency he trades in souls so the time of harvest was not just any time, but the right time. Yes. It was a specific time, not a random time. The Greek word, karyos,

was translated by the King James translators as harvest time. It means the perfect season, the right the right moment the suitable time the favorable moment it's when a farmer says we've got to get into the field now right now not tomorrow now and Rick in this parable you have to know none of the householder knew the timing but the tenants knew the timing as well so this wasn't a surprise to the tenants to the householders they could see it's harvest time they knew it was harvest time too and they were uh and what the parable doesn't seem to draw out here is it doesn't appear that there was any urgency on the part of the tenants or the householders to draw out here is it doesn't appear that there was any urgency on the part of the tenants or the householders to get the harvest in either that's right or to pay the rent

yeah that's where this is going as if the sir they were surprised to see servants showing up yeah so there's a specific season when it is right to harvest a vineyard's fruit. It must not be too soon nor too late. If you've eaten a grape that hasn't ripened, it's not good. It's sour. It's awful. And if you've eaten a grape that's rotted, it's not good either. There's a perfect time when the taste of the fruit is at its peak.

This is really important to understand that Jesus, he's teaching here. Look, the vineyard owner doesn't just go around willy-nilly saying, hey, give me some fruit. There's a specific time he wants it. In this verse, Jesus describes the anticipation of the owner, meaning God, for the time when the fruit of the vineyard is ready to be harvested. The owner is waiting for it. The owner knows when the season is due.

You know, it just occurred to me why you even had to send the servants in the first place. The husbandmen knew when the harvest was. Why weren't they out gathering the harvest? They knew there was an expectation. I just thought about it. No, Doc, no, Doc. The husbandmen were gathering the harvest. They knew there was an expectation. I just saw that. No, the husbandmen were gathering the harvest.

They weren't paying the rent. Gotcha. This is about rent. At the heart of it, it's about rent. God is the landlord of planet Earth and you will pay your rent so the owner meaning God anticipating that the harvest would be ready he knew the timing the phrase the season of the fruits drew near so again this is indicating the approaching time when the fruits of the vineyard would be ripe and ready for gathering. And that symbolizes the appointed times in history when God sought and demanded spiritual

response and obedience from his people. There are times when God expects you to pay your rent. And I want to tell you right now, for my country, America, we are in arrears. This country has not paid its rent for decades. We're in serious trouble. We could be evicted.

Because America doesn't pay its rent anymore. See, that kind of brings it home, doesn't it? Yes. Doesn't matter who wins the election. Pay the rent. You mean God demands to be praised yes you mean God demands that we live righteous yes yes the answer is yes yes so in this parable the rent for the vineyard was paid to the householder with a portion of the harvest a deal is a deal the two shook hands on it they made a covenant

the householder leased his vineyard to the husbandmen with specific terms a portion of each harvest was payable to the householder upon demand it's a covenant an agreement between two parties it means that there would be a day the rent was due, and no excuses would be tolerated. In telling the parable to the Pharisees and the scribes, Jesus informed them that he, the householder's son, came to collect the rent rent and if they didn't pay the rent they would be evicted and the vineyard would be leased to another group of tenants right so let's not be too quick to pass judgment on the jewish rulers who messed up their stewardship of god's vineyard it's easy in hindsight to say look how those jews messed it up for over 2 000 years the christian church has been leasing the vineyard

yes how we how are we doing right now in the year 2024. and if god wouldn't hesitate to judge the jewish rulers and leaders back in the first century, what makes you think that we have any extended grace than they did? Because we're Americans, Doc. That's the attitude. Yes. We, the body of Christ, the Christian church, we were granted freedom of choice and responsibility in the management of God's creation. He leaves the vineyard to the church 2,000 years ago, and he went away to a far country.

To do what to observe how the church manages his vineyard and so this is what I'm telling you another rent day is coming for all mankind yes his son will come again to collect the rent for his father his son will come to collect the righteous living the praise the generosity the love that is due to his father in heaven he's coming to collect the rent you never thought about God as a landlord did you who wants to be paid his rent doc I know your mother-in-law in the Philippines what is she in her 80s he's 86 86 but she owns a lot of apartments right about 20 apartments does she expect her rent every month she goes out and collects it every month she personally goes and collects it yes this 86 year old woman she'll take a big hefty guy with her, but she'll, she's, she's strong.

Does she take no for an answer? No, I've been on collection rounds with her where I've seen her haul off TVs and everything. She takes somebody's television if they don't pay the rent? I saw it. I had to haul, I had to hold the TV on the back of a tricycle on the way home. Because the rent was due that's right and the rent's never a surprise the rent's always due the same day so never you know it's never like oh surprise it's rent no every day every month it's the very same day and so the the renters have a responsibility to be prepared to pay the rent or else mommy toy is going to show up this 86 year old woman she's

going to shame you until you pay or take your tv or your refrigerator she brought a refrigerator home one day oh my. She collects her rent. Yeah. And so you have your TV or refrigerator back after you pay your rent. Because she made an investment in real estate. And she expects a return on her investment. She would be a derelict businesswoman if she didn't collect the rent. Right.

COVID was tough for her because the government wasn't requiring renters to pay their rent to their landlords. And so she took a major hit. And that's when the government stepped in and said, well, these renters and tenants don't have to pay because there's a pandemic going on. And so she suffered as a result of that because the government was restricting her property. The people

legally still owned the rent. So in this parable, he still owned the rent. In this parable, he, meaning the landowner god sent his servants to the husbandmen the tenants so when the time for the fruit to be harvested harvested draws near the landowner automatically sends his servants to collect the rent which was payable through a portion of the harvest of the fruit so this indicates god's expectation for his people to bear fruit which means righteous living and obedience and praise and worship and love

so the servants sent by the owner represent the old testament prophets whom god sent to israel throughout its history urging the people to live in accordance with God's will and produce the fruit of righteousness. The prophets were there to say, God made a covenant with you. He signed a contract. You have a lease. There are terms to this lease, and you're obligated to pay the terms of the lease on time. So those servants, the prophets, were tasked with the responsibility of instructing, exhorting, reproving, encouraging the people of Israel to bring forth fruits of righteousness and holiness. And they were tasked with the job of reminding the people of israel of their covenant obligations to god that they might receive the fruits of it the purpose of sending the servants is for them to receive the fruits of the vineyard on behalf of the landowner, again, signifying God's expectation for his people to bear spiritual fruit.

It means the owner expected to receive his rightful share of the harvest as the rent payment for the use of his vineyard. The method, the amount, and the time of the rent payment were in the terms of the agreement, the covenant. If you ever lease property, you know the lease terms clearly spell out the amount of the rent that you are obligated to pay each month, the date that it is due the method of payment check cash ach bank wire the currency us dollars or pesos or euros and the penalties for late payments those terms are in every lease so the purpose of sending the servants was to collect the rent verse 35 and the

husbandmen took his servants and beat one and killed another and stoned another so this verse depicts a series of violent actions taken against the messengers of the vineyard owner. And of course, this symbolizes the cruel mistreatment suffered by God's prophets at the hands of the Jews. The prophets were subjected to brutality, beating, killing, stoning. Isaiah reportedly was sawn in two. Can you imagine being cut in half while you're alive? Doc, the beating. When you look at the Greek word, it literally means to flay, to skin. Yes. So it's not just like you were beaten with a stick or something like that, even though that's cruel. But no, you're basically skinned alive.

Yes. They peel your skin off of you by beating you they beat the skin off of your body imagine beating so much so brutally that you you don't have any skin left on your body that's what the jews did to the prophets of God. We think they just threw pebbles. Oh, go away, prophet. No, they stripped their skin off of them. They cut them in half. Stoned them.

So it reflects the reality that God's messengers will face opposition and even violence for delivering God's message. This pattern is throughout the Old Testament. Jeremiah 37, 15. The princes were angry with Jeremiah and struck him and put him in prison. Jeremiah 38.6. They took Jeremiah and threw him into the dungeon. They let Jeremiah down with cords. In the dungeon there was no water but mire.

Jeremiah sank in the mire. In Jeremiah 26, again, the same type of treatment against Jeremiah. It says that the king sought to put him to death. Zechariah, 2 second chronicles 24 verse 21 they conspired against him and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king not only the commandment of the king but the commandment of the king in the court

of yahweh's house. We're talking about a king in the temple. Ordering the stoning of a prophet. And then Jesus later, we're in verse chapter 21 right now, but when we get to chapter 23, verse 37, we're going to read Jesus saying, as he enters Jerusalem, O Jerusalem, O Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her,

how often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you would not. He knew he was about to get not only the same treatment, but worse. So there's a continuity between the prophets of the Old Testament, John the Baptist, and then Jesus. Verse 36. Again, he sent other servants, more than the first, and they treated them the same way. So the servants sent by, obviously by the landowner represent the prophets they were rejected but this phrase the more than the first it has it has a lot of meaning in in that phrase it means more than just increasing the number of servants. But the authority of the servants.

The authority and the anointing. And this goes back to the very first part of chapter 21 here, the question of authority. It extends right back through this. And so John the Baptist, which i believe that's what they're talking about here that jesus talked about here in this passage had greater authority than he's the greatest of the prophets he had greater authority than the prophets than the rest of the problem he was and he was killed too. So the phrase more than the first means more than increasing the number of prophets God sent.

But it means he sent prophets with more anointing, more authority, increased intensity, a greater urgency in their prophetic messages. And this pattern continued over centuries and then culminated in the ministry of John the Baptist, who was the last and and fullness of the messages as the time for the harvest approached, the ultimate harvest. Things were moving to a culmination. There's going to be a showdown. And so the prophets increased in their messages, increased in their clarity. And it could also mean that the prophets were more honorable than the preceding prophets.

There's a lot of ways you can interpret that phrase. Despite the efforts of the prophets, the Jews remain obstinate. They refuse to heed the call to repentance, and they kill the prophets. Yes.

That's their legacy. The legacy of the Jews is that they killed the prophets. I don't understand this fascination with American evangelical Christians to become Jewish. I don't get it. Their track record is not something I would want to own right but what we see here is two things the repetition of the mistreatment towards the servants the prophets represents the stubbornness and the disobedience of the Jews.

But the number two thing we see is that God did not tire of sending messengers. No matter how cruel they were treated, he continued to raise up new prophets to confront the wickedness of the Jews. And why was that, Rick? What motivated God, or the householder in this case, what motivated him to continue to send servant after servant?

What was the motivation that he had? His covenant. Yes. I think of the covenant. He keeps the terms of his deals i would say god he keeps his side right i would say he loves the harvest and he loves the harvest god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son he loves the harvest god's motivated what motivates god what is it yet you know we always ask an actor what's

what's the motivation of my character what was God's motivation here his motivation was the harvest he loved the harvest he wanted a harvest and he didn't tire in sending sermons and then decided to send his own son to collect on that harvest. So if you think of a farmer putting a sweet grape in his mouth and just tasting it, oh, my, that is the greatest grape I've ever had. That's how God responds to our praise, our worship, our adoration, our obedience, our righteousness. He just takes a taste of your life and says well that's sweet that's so sweet that's what he wants that's what he desires

he's coming for the harvest the harvest the fruit of your life are you paying your rent that's a question for every one of us are you paying your rent? That's a question for every one of us. Are you paying your rent? On time. So, we get to verse 37. But last of all, he sent unto them his son, saying, they will reverence my son. After all efforts failed to persuade the tenants to pay their rent i mean these guys are in serious arrears they haven't paid their rent in years finally the landowner sends

his son with the anticipation that the tenants would recognize and honor and respect and reverence his son. Certainly they will respect my son. So this highlights a sharp distinction between Jesus and all other previous prophets. Jesus is the ultimate and final messenger from heaven. Right. And Mark says that it was his only son. His only son. His only begotten son.

The heir. Hebrews 3, chapter, Hebrewss chapter 3 verses 3 to 6 for this man was counted worthy of more glory than moses inasmuch as he who hath built the house hath more honor than the house for every house is built by some man but he that built all things is god and moses verily was faithful in all his house as a servant for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after but christ as a son over his own house whose house are we if we hold fast a confidence and a rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. The sending of the landowner's son mirrors the sending of Jesus by God as the ultimate and final messenger from heaven.

He says, last of all says last of all last of all that's that means this is it yeah there are no more messengers after Jesus and that is the message to every Jew and Gentile there are no more messengers not another son coming nothing Jews and Gentiles have no excuse God sent his son what more could he do for them these people who are waiting on God to do something for the Jews what is it he sent his son you you telling me giving them Iraq and Syria and the Golan Heights, that's what God's got to do yet?

Are you serious? He sent his son. What more could he do? There's nothing greater. You're going to compare land to the son of god so verse 38 i gotta hurry up but the farmers the tenants when they saw the son they said among themselves this is the heir

come let us kill him and seize his inheritance when When the owner sends his son, he is sending his heir. In this parable, the son of the vineyard owner is Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God. So the Jewish rulers who heard Jesus tell the parable already knew that Jesus was the Son of God. And they knew he was the rightful heir to God's kingdom. This is important to know, folks. This will change your outlook on the end times and everything. I mean, it really

will. Pay attention to this ending of today's lesson. The tenants desire to seize the inheritance. What did they say? go back and look at what he said when they saw the son they said among themselves this is the heir come let us kill him and seize his inheritance their desire to seize the inheritance reflected their greed and rebellion against the authority of the landowner, who in this parable is God.

So they prioritized their own interests over obedience to God's will. And their scheme to kill the son and seize his inheritance revealed the depth of their depravity and their lust for power and control and so they saw jesus's removal as the opportunity to seize control of everything they knew god had promised his son. They're thinking this is it. This is, this moment will never be a moment like this ever. We've got the

Messiah here. If we kill him, we can seize his inheritance. Yes. Folks, this is the, this is the mother of all conspiracies. This is it. This is the birth of the new world order.

What I'm telling you right now, this is the original birth of the new world order. It's happening right now in this verse. Right. Everybody talks about the new world order. This is it. The plan of the Jews to kill the son of God and steal his inheritance. And what was his inheritance, Rick?

Well, we get down to Psalm 2.8. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. The world. All the souls of mankind are the Son's inheritance. And the entire earth is his possession. Is there an active, ongoing conspiracy today to steal jesus's inheritance yes yes it's found in psalm 2 that i just read the eighth verse let's read psalm 2 why do the nations rage and the people's plot it's a conspiracy why do the people

plot conspire a vain thing the kings of the earth take a stand and the rulers take counsel together against yahweh and against his anointed saying Let's break their bonds apart and cast their cords from us. He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision. Then he will speak to them in his anger and terrify them in his wrath. Yet have I set my king on my holy hill of Zion. I will tell of the decree Yahweh said to me, you are my son.

Today I have become your father. Ask of me and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Now therefore be wise, you kings. Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve Yahweh with fear and rejoice with trembling. Give sincere homage to the Son lest he be angry and you perish on the way for his wrath will soon be kindled. But blessed are all I like how the King James puts that last verse.

Kiss the son, lest he be angry. Kiss the son. If you were smart, you would kiss my son. That's what the Lord said. If you were smart, you'd kiss my son. That's what the Lord said. If you were smart, you'd kiss my boy. Because if you don't, you're going to perish. My wrath will soon be kindled. See, there is a conspiracy that's been underway for thousands of years.

You could actually go all the way back to Nimrod. Nimrod is the beginning. And it's interesting that the Freemasons recognized Nimrod as the father of Freemasonry. The rebellion against God began with Nimrod to build a new world order. The Jews at that time, when Jesus was physically upon the earth, they were carrying on the plot initiated by Nimrod.

Yes. I've got to finish this up. I've got two minutes. Verse 39 39 so they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and they killed him all you need to see here is they took him Jesus was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane they threw him out of the vineyard he was led out of Jerusalem to Golgotha. Then they killed him. He was crucified. All fulfilled. Jesus was led out of Jerusalem.

They arrested him. They led him out of Jerusalem. They killed him. Yes. Verse 40. When therefore the Lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to these tenants? Jesus asked this question to make the Jewish rulers judge themselves with their own answer. He wanted them to acknowledge the justice that they deserved.

The justice that would befall them because they were wicked tenants. He wanted them to implicate themselves as the ones who will face God's judgment for the rejection of God's Son and the killing of His prophets. And they knew it. They recognized it. They knew who they were and they knew it. They recognized it. They knew who they were, and they knew what they were. And they only intensified their determination to kill the son and seize his inheritance. The judgment came on them. In 70 AD, God led the Roman army to Jerusalem, destroyed the city and the temple.

That place over there in Palestine today is not Jerusalem. It's a Roman city built on the ruins of Jerusalem. Yes. Why do they keep digging up things underneath the city? Because it was buried. Because that's what's down there, the old city. Verse 41, they told him, the tenants told, the religious leaders told Jesus, he will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers who will give him the fruit in its season they knew exactly what would happen and they were the wicked men who rejected Jesus they were miserable in

their sorrowful state of rebellion rejecting the the Son of God. The term miserably destroy those miserable men speaks of the severity of the punishment and the fittingness of the judgment. They deserved it. They deserved to be miserably destroyed, not just destroyed be miserably destroyed not just destroyed miserably destroyed so Jesus exposed him and he revealed he made them confess with their own mouth God's justice in taking away their privileges and punishing them through the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple. And then transferring the vineyard to the Christian church. To another people, yes. But again, my friend, keep in mind,

we are now held responsible for the vineyard. How are we acting? Are any of us like the wicked rulers? That's something for every one of us to consider. I want to say one thing before we close.
