So the mayor is becoming frustrated. Yes. And he's now talking about forcibly removing the truckers. I'd like to see that happen, but it's strange, Rick, with all the mandates that are being dropped and everything,

that cities like Windsor and Ottawa and others, they're just doubling down on this. They could end it today. Yes. If Trudeau would just humble himself and say, I'm going to lift the mandate. Canada, get back to work. It's over. I mean, Justin Trudeau could stop it today. As you pointed out, Canadian provinces are announcing the end of mandates. It's happened here in the United States in the past 24, 48 hours. The age of mandates is over. Masks don't work. Vaccines don't work. Why are we still requiring the truckers to be vaccinated? Why are we having this debate? Because it's not about the injection. We know that. But using just, if it's truly about health and Trudeau wants the truckers vaccinated so that they don't get COVID and spread it to others.

We everybody knows. The experimental vaccines don't work. Triple jab people are infected and spreading it to others. Triple jab people are also getting sick with blood and heart problems too and triple jab people are falling dead so it's not about health it's not about the pandemic it's about control and trudeau has has boxed himself into a corner and his pride won't let him out. And if he dares go go in with, you know, stormtrooper tactics and try to beat up the truckers and drag them out of their trucks, it will be the end of his government and it will split Canada in half. The country, it'll be decades till the Canadian people get over the memory of that moment. That will be burned in people's minds for decades to come. The day Royal Canadian Mounted Police beat up truckers and smashed their windshields and

pulled them out of the trucks. Because the truckers are going to fight back. They will. They're going to fight back. And then the Mount Eighth police are going to shoot the truckers. And then all hell breaks loose. And once a group of truckers have been shot, there'll be 10,000 more truckers come. If they think that's going to put it down, oh, it's just going to explode. Not only in Canada, but in the USA, in France, all over the world, people are going to say, that's enough. We've had it. We've had it. We're done with this stuff. So Trudeau, somebody needs to get on the phone. Somebody that has Trudeau's phone number needs to call that man today and say, stand down. Do the right thing.

End the mandate. And the truckers will leave tonight. They'll leave tonight, Doc. If he'll just end the mandate today, they'll leave. He has the power with the stroke of his pen to end the blockade. And what the blockade is doing, what the convoy is doing in Canada, it's inspiring a worldwide movement now. You better believe it. We'll be talking more about that on today's Godcast as well.

Well, we're going to start here with Alberta. Police moved in on the protesters in Alberta. Didn't make much progress. They arrested some people. Not the truckers, but people who are standing around in support of the truckers. But they're not having a lot of success with it. We have a report. This is from CTV TV. The mayor refuses to meet with the protesters until they clear out. Even then,

he's not sure who he talked to. On one hand, we certainly see a sense of organization, but then on the other hand, there's a sense of disorganization. You know, some of the press conferences we've seen are out of a Monty Python sketch. Last night, one convoy organizer said they planned to leave. Tomorrow, we're going to pull up stakes and we're going to head for Toronto. That never happened. Today, organizers behind the Freedom Convoy fundraisers

put out a statement declaring they are the official voice, holding a press conference in a hotel guest room, but only for hand-picked media. Police today warned anyone blocking streets could be criminally charged and their vehicles seized. But the city is still waiting on the 1,800 additional police it's requested from other governments. More RCMP are coming from the federal level. Until today, the Ontario government hasn't shown up. No, they have not been at the table for the first two meetings. We have indications from them today that they'll be joining us at the next meeting. The city today increased the fine for excessive noise and idling truck engines to $1,000.

But there's no real hope that tickets on windshields will convince the protesters to move on, Lisa. So the mayor of Ottawa has asked other governments in Canada to send 1,800 police officers, but they haven't arrived. No, they haven't yet. They're not going to arrive. I don't know if you caught in that report, Rick, but they've added another level to the noise restrictions. You can't idle your truck loudly either. So it's not, it's gone beyond the honking. You can't run your truck engine,. So it's gone beyond the honking. You can't run your truck engine very loud at a certain level. But they also said in that report anyone on the streets has the potential to be arrested there. You might have also noticed all the gas cans on the street.

I mentioned the other day what Canadians are doing is they're taking empty gas cans down. And only one in three cans has gas in it. And so the police are having to spend time confiscating every single gas can, empty or full. And so that's tying things up. But you mentioned something while we were watching that, Rick, that as the mayor was speaking, you notice how he mocked him, called it a Monty Python show and everything? That cannot do very well to bridge a diplomatic gap with those that have a problem with this. It reveals the arrogance of the ruling elite. They look down on the people. And he showed his arrogance.

He's mocking the truckers. Well, the truckers, they're going to get the last laugh because his politicians are collapsing. They're not going to succeed. And I've yet to hear at least a Canadian politician say yet, I understand your concerns. I understand your frustrations. Let's talk. Let's see if we can come to some sort of conclusion here. But no, they're stuck. The Canadian politicians, at least the ones in power right now, they're stuck with their narrative. Even their new conservative leader, you know, the so-called conservative Tories in Canada, kind of like our Republicans. Right.

She came out today and told the truckers to go home. So the conservatives in Canada are as worthless as the Republicans in the United States. This story is from Detroit. Truck blockade at Ambassador Bridge and U.S.-Canada border is shutting down. American auto plants. That's right, Rick.

The truck blockade by Canadians protesting the country's COVID-19 restrictions is tightening the screws on the auto industry and forcing Ford, General Motors, and other car companies to shut down plants or otherwise scale back production on both sides of the U.S. border. The bumper-to-bumper demonstration by the self-proclaimed Freedom Convoy entered its fourth day Thursday at the Ambassador Bridge, SIDES OF THE U.S. BORDER. THE BUMPER TO BUMPER DEMONSTRATION BY THE SELF-PROCLAIMED FREEDOM CONVOY ENTERED ITS FOURTH DAY THURSDAY AT THE AMBASSADOR BRIDGE CONNECTING WINDSOR, ONTARIO TO DETROIT, DISRUPTING THE FLOW OF AUTO PARTS AND OTHER PRODUCTS

BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES. AND RICK, YOU TALKED ABOUT THIS EARLIER THIS WEEK THAT YOU SAW THIS COMING. IT WAS TWO DAYS. TWO DAYS WOULD BE ALL THAT THE CAR COMPANIES COULD HANDLE. AND YESTERDAY WAS THE THIRD DAY AND IT WAS LIKE, WELL, IF THE Two days would be all that the car companies could handle. And yesterday was the third day.

And it's like, well, if the bridge is still shut down on Thursday, plants will be shut down. Right. And that's what happened today. Well, that prompted Michigan Governor Whitmer said Canadian authorities need to quickly resolve the closure as it has severe impacts on Michigan's economy. Now, there's a person with a record of being diplomatic and reaching out to people who don't agree with her. You're saying that sarcastically, right? You better believe it. She sees the revolt, and she's up for reelection this year, and it doesn't look good for her. Yes.

Well, as we mentioned earlier, the Freedom Convoy movement up in Canada has prompted calls around the world, internationally, to also respond. This is CBS News here, and U.S. truckers are planning a protest convoy, perhaps starting in L.A. for Super Bowl. But listen to who is saying this. It's the DHS. Rick, what did you say yesterday about the Department of Homeland Security and the various intelligence agencies out there? When you asked me yesterday why seven or eight governors in the United States suddenly dropped their mask and vaccine mandates yesterday? I said it's because Homeland Security is monitoring the phone calls of the American people, their

text messages, their emails, their social media postings, and they're picking up a spike in the chatter calling for convoys in the United States of America. So the order went out yesterday to the politicians, stand down, you know, turn the valve and let some of the steam out because they're organizing. Well, now, one day later, we have proof. Yes. So the Department of Homeland Security is warning U.S. law enforcement agencies that a group of truckers is planning a protest of COVID-19 vaccine mandates that could start as soon as this weekend in Los Angeles, the site of the Super Bowl. Now, this bulletin obtained by CBS News says the convoy could then head east, perhaps reaching Washington, D.C., in time for President Biden's State of the Union address on March the 1st. This bulletin warns that the convoy could severely disrupt transportation, federal government, and law enforcement operations through gridlock and potential counter-protests. They're not really worried about the counter-protests.

They're worried about the truckers. Yeah, hey, let's get us a convoy. All right. Shut down the Super Bowl and shut down the State of the Union address. I mean, the chances are Joe Biden won't even find his way to the Capitol to deliver. How in the world is that man going to give a speech for an hour or two? That'll be a five-hour speech. It's hard enough walking off the dais on a daily basis. But they are worried. They're worried about it. And so, yes, let's get a convoy going in the United States. Get some convoys moving up to the Canadian border on the American side. Shut down

the American side. Give the Canadian truckers a break. Shut it down on the American side. Right. We see we have the ability here to bring down Trudeau. Yes. What's Trudeau going to do about American truckers blocking the bridges? You're going to call Nazis. He's powerless now. If the American truckers do it. That's that's correct. And so, well, CBS News is worried sick about all this happening.

They have a report here. They're also reporting on that Homeland Security is warning American truck drivers they're planning that COVID-19 convoy. Let's watch this. For a fourth morning in a row, Canadians protesting vaccine mandates are blocking traffic on the Ambassador Bridge. It functions as a vital link between the U.S. and Canada, America's largest trade partner. Now there are new concerns similar protests could soon caravan across the U.S. In a bulletin to law

enforcement, the Department of Homeland Security says it received reports a convoy of truckers plans to potentially block roads in major metropolitan cities and severely disrupt transportation. The DHS alert says the convoy could begin Sunday in Los Angeles, the site of the Super Bowl, gathering truckers as they travel across the country, possibly reaching Washington, D.C. on March 1st, the same day as the State of the Union. Any layer of complexity you throw onto a major event like the Super Bowl, it creates potential problems. Potentially, they could keep certain roads open only to emergency vehicles. Protests are already impacting auto manufacturing on both sides of the border. Ford, GM, Toyota, and Chrysler's parent company are all experiencing production disruptions. Traffic is being

diverted to another bridge some two hours north where trucks are waiting up to four hours to cross. It just keeps going on and on. The longer this persists Canadians that depend on jobs that rely on trade will be impacted. A trucker convoy circle around the area of the Super Bowl arena? Around SoFi Stadium, yes. That might be a big distraction this weekend. You might have empty seats, like lots of empty seats.

Maybe people can't get to the Super Bowl. Maybe they don't want to go because they see a convoy going around the stadium. And, you know, the truckers don't have to stop on the road, but they could drive 15 miles an hour. Yes. You're moving. Yes. You can't ticket you for not, you know, for moving. Something wrong with the truck. You're just not moving very fast. What are the police going to do? They're going to, they're going to ticket every slow moving truck. Well, they'd have to stop them to do it. You got to stop them to do it. And so once you stop the first truck, guess what? You're stopping every other truck behind him. That's right.

So, but the fact that they are now showing concern that American truck drivers are starting to organize and starting to make plans for this. As you said earlier this week, Rick, that the chatter is out there. Something is happening. It's interesting, though, that they are really worried about that March 1st date, State of the Union. They say the Super Bowl could be significant, but that March 1st of the date is significant. State of the Union, of course. Also, Doc, they're saying that the West Coast drivers are going to drive across the United States to get to, and I'm sure they would.

But, you know, there are trucks on the East Coast. Yes. A lot of them. A lot of trucks on the East Coast. We have I-95 and 75 and U.S. 40 and U.S. I-70. I mean, we could lock down Atlanta. We could lock down D.C. We could lock down Chicago. We could lock down Denver. We could lock down L.A. I mean, we could lock down Atlanta. We could lock down D.C. We could lock down Chicago. We could lock down Denver. We could lock down L.A. I mean, we could lock down all these Democratic-controlled cities. And again, I think what's more effective is not a lockdown, but a slowdown. Just to drive slow. Drive, yeah.

Pick, pick. Everybody, look, the beauty of this thing is everybody can have a convoy. You don't have to own a truck to have a convoy. If you have something that moves, you can form a convoy and drive the politicians crazy. Pick a site. We're going to show you in a minute how some people did it at the Ottawa airport and they slowed things down. Think about a slow moving convoy around international airports well think of how frustrated you get when there's traffic at the airport first of all you know you know

like we go to the Orlando Airport we used to go the airport and anytime there'd be traffic there's a big circle that goes around the Orlando Airport and if it's a busy day you're trying to get to your flight you frustrated, you get frustrated with the guy in front of you and everything. Now imagine if that happened on purpose. Hey, Doc, people are rising up. The resistance is gaining strength. And we can't let these globalist, power-hungry, needle Nazis get any rest. They need to know that the people are angry. We're fed up. Well, we will never allow them to do this

again. And we're going to bring them to justice for the crimes against humanity that they've already committed. So the fight is on. They are backing up. They're retreating. They're canceling their mandates. But it's not enough. There's still there's still mandates out there in different states. There's still, you know, Biden still has mandates in place. We need to make these people back down. I think there's a the next one, this is a part two of that same CBS report. Right, so they're actually classifying this as chaos, not a convoy, but chaos. It is causing problems for Canada, but just note the media bias as you see this particular clip. What are things like there now on the bridge?

And what could a similar protest here, how could that impact the economy? Sure. This morning, we woke up to news that both directions of the Ambassador Bridge are currently closed. And in fact, we haven't seen a vehicle come across that bridge since last night. So they had traffic coming from Canada into the U.S. open. Right now the bridge is completely closed. There is tunnel access for cars, for big rigs. They're going about two hours away. So significant disruptions for people trying to get to and from Detroit and Windsor. A number of people live in Canada

and work here in the Detroit area. Several of the health systems here had to scramble to figure out lodging options for hundreds of workers who normally commute across the river so that they can keep their healthcare workers here close to their jobs, you know, given the situation in the hospitals with the pandemic. What could it

look like nationwide? I mean, you could see major cities gridlocked, and if those protests last for a long period of time, that could be a significant disruption. It'll certainly be frustrating for folks who need to try to navigate the roads in those areas. If the convoy is moving through, those would hopefully be short-lived for many. But, you know, it certainly has a disruptive force. Yeah. You know, what people may or may not know is that the Canadian convoy started on one end of the country in British Columbia and then made its way to the capital, Ottawa. Now we're hearing about something very similar in the U.S., starting in L.A., making their way to Washington, D.C. And we're talking about maybe starting on Super Bowl Sunday.

So any contingency plans at all in L.A. to deal with the possibility of this? So our understanding is that there is a contingency plan for a mass protest, a large scale protest, you know, and certainly one of the priorities would be keeping certain roads like things that access hospitals, things that access the stadium in and out moving. But you know, at the same time, big rigs are not something that are easily moved once they've stopped. So, you know, there is the potential that if you wanted to shut down major freeways in Los Angeles, that it could be done if you got enough trucks willing to do it.

So there are contingency plans in place to protect the Super Bowl and to keep traffic moving. But, you know, if we're talking about a large caravan of big rigs, that that could be a challenge for law enforcement, certainly. Yeah, well, they're certainly learning that in Ottawa for sure. I was trying to figure out what the patch was on that guy's arm. Right. I couldn't make it out either. It looked like the state of Michigan on it. It wasn't the CBS logo, maybe as a local affiliate. But I was wondering what the patch was. I was just trying to figure out what's who does he.

I bet one of our sharp eyeyed viewers will figure it out. Well, the other thing I was thinking about, Doc, is how many millions of dollars in pharmaceutical television advertisement money does CBS get? ottawa international airport somebody started a car convoy driving slowly around the airport. And doing this over and over again. And reports are later this afternoon that they were still doing this. And it was impacting flights and travel out of the Ottawa Airport. So people are getting inspired Rick to do something. They don't have a tractor trailer. But you might have a tractor. Right and you might have a car or you might have a moped but you can participate somehow in some way. As we said earlier this is inspiring a movement globally now

enough so that they're trying to get a convoy started in France. And so French 24 is talking about a French freedom convoy getting underway in protest at COVID-19 restrictions. But in response to that, well, we can't let that happen. So Paris police say that the French freedom convoy, they're going to prevent it from entering the Capitol there. So French Freedom Convoy motorists protesting against COVID-19 restrictions will be blocked from entering Paris. Wouldn't that close the highway? I don't guess they figured that part out, Rick. So, okay, then you just park on the highway.

Right. And nobody else gets into Paris. So you don't get into the capital. Nobody else gets in the capital. You still have done the very same thing as if you were there. You shut down the city. Well, folks, we've got a convoy, and the people are rising up in Canada, in the United States, in France. It's happening in New Zealand.

We're going to show you some stuff in the second part of today's True News. The resistance is on and the politicians are running for cover and the needle Nazis know they took it too far. So get inspired. Look, I think a lot of us hoped, would the veterans lead the way? Would the military lead the way? Would the police officers lead the way? And they haven't. They were doing vaccination clinics.

who is with Joint Task Force 2 Counterterrorism Unit should not have such a symbol displayed outside his home in Stittsville. So he doesn't have free speech on his own property. He's a soldier fighting for his country's freedom, but he has no freedom. Yes, that sums it up. If he opposes the ruling regime. He's simply saying freedom. Yes. This is what's in his yard, a banner that says freedom. He's under investigation as a soldier. For believing in freedom. For believing in freedom. For believing in freedom.

All allegations will be treated seriously and investigated accordingly. The banner reportedly displays the slogans,

Truckers for Freedom and Mandate Freedom. Boy, that's really bad. Look at that. Oh, man. It's for freedom. It's so radical. Freedom. So what are the values and Ethos we espouse? The China way. Yes.

And you'll probably find out that the soldier who ratted him out is Chinese. Well, Le Betulier said Wednesday that depending on what the Canadian Special Operations Command determines, the military could decide to take either administrative or disciplinary action against a soldier. You know, there is another option that they have, and that is to leave the man alone. He has the freedom to speak. When did freedom, and saying the word freedom, become a crime? GoFundMe basically robbed millions of dollars from truck drivers in Canada with everything that's been going on in cahoots with the provincial government there in Ottawa, or the city government there in Ottawa. And so they looked at an alternative now, Give, Send, Go, which services a lot of Christian organizations and everything. So what's happening now? Based here in the United States. And so now, yeah, so the money has been withheld that was originally given.

So now this Christian organization has opened up its platform. And I don't know the exact amount. It's, what is it, $10 million? Close to $10 million now. Close to $10 million. About the same amount they hit for GoFundMe before. So Give, Send, Go is approaching that same level. So what's happening, Doc, is the Canadian communists now want an investigation of this American Christian crowdfunding platform.

Yes. As an organization that is funding domestic terrorism in Canada. Domestic terrorism. A truck driver is a domestic terrorist. You know, if they want to keep calling these truck drivers these names, the truck drivers have the right and the power to shut them down. Let's see who's calling names two months from now. All the truck drivers in Canada just stop driving. You don't need all of them.

25 to 50% of the truck drivers just stop. Let's see if they call them names. This smearing these men has got to stop. But it's a communist tactic. So they're launching an investigation into this American-based crowdfunding company, which has now raised money, the biggest fund drive they've had in their existence. So we've got some quotes.

That's what extremism is in Canada. But this is what's happening. Parliament, Tlaib Nurmohamed, has proposed to expand the House Public Safety and National Security Committee's study of the Freedom Convoice fundraising efforts to include a study on the rise of ideologically motivated extremism. Nurmohamed gave notice of the motion on Tuesday during a committee meeting. If passed, it would see the members investigate the influence of foreign and domestic

actors in funding and supporting violent extremist ideologies in Canada. It would also include an invitation to American crowdfunding platform Give, Send, Go to appear before the committee regarding their involvement in hosting the Convoy's new fundraising program. So Give, Send, Go is the new home for where people are giving to help support the Freedom Convoy in Canada. And Norma Harmon goes on to say, important questions remain about how such a huge sum of money could be raised by anonymous donors and what their motivations were. Freedom. People are rightly worried about American interference

and what sort of standard is applied when donations are accepted. And that reads a statement from the NDP's public safety critic, Alistair McGregor. Speculation has mounted in recent days about whether the convoy has received foreign support. And so this is their new tack now. And now while information about donors, their location, and their intention remains limited, Ottawa Police Chief Peter Slowly indicated in a press conference last week that there may be U.S. ties. We are now aware of a significant element from the U.S. that have been involved in the funding, the organizing, he said. And on Thursday, the committee was scheduled to hear from representatives of the Financial Transactions

and Reports Analysis Center of Canada, the country's financial intelligence unit, about the issue. And meanwhile, at the House... Oh, I'm sorry. Let's go back. I want to show you something. Top of the line, top of the paragraph. While information about donors or location and their intention remains limited what they want they want the names and the addresses of the

people financing the convoy yes that's exactly what because then they want to go after you individually that's what's driving them crazy and what their intentions are their intentions well their intentions are obvious Their intentions are obvious. They want to support freedom. So we can't have that anymore either. So will you have to be questioned before you can give a donation? That's really chilling. Is that where we're going?

Meanwhile, at the House Foreign Affairs Committee, NDP member of Parliament Heather McPherson is expected to table a motion to invite U.S. Ambassador to Canada David Cohen to appear to answer questions about American influence in the movement, including concerns of funding and being collected and distributed by American companies towards this goal, and concerns regarding American in positions of authority encouraging Americans to support the call to dissolve the Canadian government with funding that is foreign to Canada. I think that's what I did this week. I encouraged Americans to support dissolving the Trudeau government. Isn't that what I did? Well, essentially, and you did it on today's program, too.

Police on Thursday arrested dozens of protesters who were camped out on the grounds of New Zealand's parliament on the third day of a convoy protest against coronavirus mandates. Now, the arrest came after Parliament Speaker Trevor Millard took the rare step of closing the grounds. And so police ended up arresting about 122 Parliament trespassers. And I'm sure there's more than that.

This is number 25 for control. And they're warning that the removal of a lot of these protesters is going to take some time. So, Doc, these New Zealanders, they want to protest their government's policies. Would you not go to the location? The seat of government. Isn't that where you would go? Sure.

And at 95, what would, oh yeah, I hope nothing like this happens. But what if the queen and the prince both passed away from COVID at the same time? Prince William becomes the king. Well, I had an even more diabolical thought than that. I thought, well, what if Prince Charles knew he was infected with COVID and went to see his mom? Because he wants to be king so bad. But find an office, run as a Republican. Republicans are going to win in a massive tsunami victory this year in most states except the super left states. Because people will vote the economy. But even like New York state, once you get outside of New York city, it's conservative. There'll be a lot of Republicans elected to state legislature and county offices in New York state. Say we New Jersey, Republican almost won the New Jersey

governorship. Okay. So even if you're in a leftist-dominated state, there are pockets of the state where conservatives will win. In most states, most of the state is conservative. That's right. But this is the year to run as a conservative Republican and just get out there and be— All you got to do is just shake hands and stand on the highway corners with a sign, just campaign. So Russia is planning to hold a nuclear strategic exercise, UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said Thursday. I just keep believing that somehow the Lord keeps this stuff from exploding. And the way I've seen it over these 20 some years, it's like I see a stove with four pots boiling away. And the lids are bouncing, you know. Chattering away. They're chattering. There's stuff coming out of the pots and you're thinking

it can't get any hotter than this, but the lids never blow off. That's what it's like in the world because the hand of the Lord is holding those lids down and those lids are bouncing up and down and the liquids are coming out of the pot and it's sizzling on the stove. But the invisible hand of the Lord is holding those pots, the lids on those pots. And why is He doing it? Because there are souls that must be led to the cross to meet Jesus Christ. That's the only reason He's keeping this from exploding so that more lost souls will come to Jesus Christ and be saved.

But there will be a day when God the Father says, that's the last one. That's it. I'm done. I'm done. And then he takes his hand away. And we call that a great tribulation. We're at that point where things just start to unravel in the world. I want to get the message of Jesus Christ to every person I can reach while I'm still alive.

And I'm asking you to help me do it. Tough times are coming in the economy. I promise you that. Tough times for the world. For the world tough times are coming, but not for the church. Amen. Not for the blood-bought church. It's not going to be tough times. God will bring prosperity to you. Not wealth, not super wealth, not to lavish on your loss, but you'll have prosperity to do His will

and to take care of others. And He'll get you through this season that's coming on the world right now economically. You have to be a giver. So take the challenge. Become a giver and watch what God does for you. I got to go. Way over time. We got a special guest tomorrow. Yes.
