The disciples asked Jesus about the end of the age.
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars.
See that you aren't troubled.
For all this must happen, but the end is not yet.
For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.
And there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in many places.
I'm Dr. Robert A. Shuler, and I'm on a mission to encourage Christian families to prepare for tough times.
That's why I'm endorsing American Reserves.
American Reserves can help you build a food storehouse like Joseph in Egypt.
American Reserves offers emergency food packages for a month or full year.

This is True News. The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
So help us God. Today's Friday, January 12th, 2024.
World War III continues to expand and worsen.
Last night, the USA and Great Britain jointly launched missile strikes on over 60 targets in Yemen in response to Yemen's Houthis attempting to stop shipping traffic in the Red
Sea headed to Israel. Russia's Medvedev issued a nuclear threat to Great Britain, and Beijing
warned Taiwan that it will be monitoring this Saturday's elections on
the independent island. We'll also have reports about the campaign 2024 and the Texas National
Guard action last night to confront the Biden administration's anything goes illegal immigration
policies. Doc, let's start with World War III. Well, if you were watching the news last night, you saw this headline on military.com.
Airstrikes pound Houthis in Yemen as U.S. and U.K. retaliate for Red Sea attacks on shipping.
The U.S. military and its allies Thursday evening conducted major retaliatory strikes in Yemen,
hitting multiple Houthi targets after several months
of drone and missile attacks by the Iranian-backed rebels that have menaced merchant shipping in the
Red Sea. Now, a senior military official told reporters late Thursday evening that the U.S.
and U.K. conducted strikes that were launched from aircraft, ships, and submarines, destroying
multiple targets in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the operation was carried out with support from Australia,
Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands.
And apparently he's still doing that from his hospital bed as well.
Yeah, where is the Secretary of Defense?
Yes.
So.
Not a word was said last night during a military, a major military action.
And we have no idea if the Secretary of Defense was even aware of what was going on.
Right.
Well, the Wall Street Journal came to the conclusion, Doc, that the U.S.-led Yemen strikes heighten risk of a broader Middle East conflict.
Do you think?
Absolutely.
And that's the next.
We're moving to the next phase, Rick.
Yemen's Houthi rebels responded defiantly to the U.S.-led strike against them Friday,
saying that the attacks had failed to cause significant damage and that they remained undeterred from launching more attacks in the region. Now, these strikes and fresh promises of retaliation threatened to escalate months-long violence
in the Middle East into a much broader conflict and turn the Red Sea into a new flashpoint
between Washington and the various Iran-backed groups arrayed across the region.
Now, we had this response.
It says, our response to the American-British aggression is inevitably coming.
This isn't going to deter us. And that's coming from the Houthi spokesman, Mohammed Abdel-Salam. response. It says, our response to the American-British aggression is inevitably coming.
This isn't going to deter us. And that's coming from the Houthi spokesman, Mohammed Abdel-Salam.
Attacks in the Red Sea, primarily on shipping lanes, would continue in solidarity with Gaza following Israel's invasion, he added. Now, the Houthis said the U.S.-led forces had conducted
73 strikes that killed five and injured six militants but said damage to
their infrastructure was limited, much of which had been stored underground ahead of strikes which
had been telegraphed days in advance. Now House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Mike McCaul
said the strikes on Yemen were necessary to push back against Iranian aggression. He said tonight
with these strikes which are being directly enabled by Iran, we are beginning to restore deterrence, he said
in a statement. We have some video showing the strikes as they occurred yesterday, even some
dramatic footage here. And if you were up late last night, you actually saw this taking place.
You didn't see it on mainstream media. You had to
go online to find this video last night. Doc, we were pretty early in it. I began posting
within minutes of the first videos appearing on social media, probably 10 to 12 minutes after the first strikes. So obviously there's been a reaction in Yemen.
How would the people of Yemen respond?
Are they going to respond with fear or are they going to respond with defiance?
So let's take a look at the capital city in Yemen today.
This is the response.
About a million people came out to stand with the Palestinians and denounce the United States and Great Britain.
So it looks to me, Doc, like all it did was strengthen the reserve of the Yemeni people.
You've got to understand from their viewpoint,
they are taking this action of attacking Israel-bound ships in the Red Sea as a way to force Israel to stop the war in Gaza.
But now that the U.S. and U.K. have entered the fray with attacks on Yemen-based targets,
the Yemenis are saying, guess what?
Now you're targets, too.
Precisely.
I mean, what did the Biden administration think was going to happen?
But then let's just assume this is what people want to happen, because they've got to get
the war going to strike Iran.
And inch by inch, we're moving in that direction.
So the next story, this is France 24,
Houthi rebels vowing to retaliate for U.S.-U.K. strikes,
possess significant military arsenal.
Again, this is France 24. Doc,
I would have to say, even myself,
and I follow
a lot of news for
25 years, but I really
never paid attention to
the military strength of Yemen
until recently.
And I assume that they had
limited military strength because they've
been in this conflict with Saudi Arabia for, what, a decade now?
Now, I just always thought Yemen was poor, wiped out, had no military.
They couldn't stand up to the Saudis.
That France 24 article shows you and saw a Yemeni missile traveling up the, you know, above the Red Sea on its way to Israel.
I remember the day we talked about that.
I remember I stopped and I said,
I've got to go in line and check what's the distance
between Yemen and
Israel. And it was something
like 1,200, 1,400 miles.
That's the day
I realized Yemen can
strike Israel.
Not only can they strike Israel, they can strike Saudi Arabia.
They can strike Qatar.
They can strike a lot of the U.S. military bases in the Middle East around Israel.
They've got the military capability of hitting them.
So the question is, how much damage did the U.S. and Great Britain do to Yemen's missiles last night?
How many missiles did they take out?
How many launchers did they take out?
Did they handicap Yemen in responding?
Now, as you said, the Houthis are vowing to retaliate for what happened and um this is again the the france 24 article says the houthis have
have been steadily developing their military capabilities since 2014 when they seized the
yemeni capital the ars their arsenal of weapons made with iranian equipment or components include
ballistic and cruise missiles as well as drones.
The ballistic missiles are called Typhoon, and they're based on an Iranian missile that
have a range of about 1,200 miles, according to Fabian Hinz of the International Institute
for Strategic Studies.
He told AFP News in Paris,
it is very inaccurate,
at least in the version they've shown us,
but it should be able to reach Israel.
The article says that Iran,
using the same missiles in 2016,
hit targets 900 miles away.
The Houthis say they manufacture their own drones domestically
But they've also, according to analysts, they've smuggled Iranian components
The article says that the Iranian-made drones have a range of about 1,200 miles
And they're the same ones that Russia is using in Ukraine
Yes, in Ukraine.
According to Mr. Hens, another drone used by the Yemenis is the Samad-3.
And he says they think that the range is about 1,600 kilometers.
And then also they have another drone that can be, or should say,
the Samad-3 can be fitted with 40 pounds of explosives.
So, you know, it's an armed drone that has a range of 1,600 miles.
Theoretically, Yemen could do damage to military, U.S. military bases and ships.
And targets in Israel, too. And targets in Israel.
Now, Newsweek reporting that they talked to a Houthi military leader today. The Newsweek article saying Houthi's war and all force will be used to respond to U.S. bombing of Yemen.
So it's all out war for them.
It says any strike against us will be responded to absolutely without the slightest doubt
with all force and determination, and the region will be on the verge of escalation,
the end of which no one knows.
That's coming from Nasreddin Amir, the deputy information secretary for Ansar Allah,
who is leading the Houthi rebels.
Now, that goes into the next story here.
This is from Ria Navasti.
Yemen's Houthis will strike at maritime shipping associated with the U.S. and Great Britain, as we mentioned before.
Up to this point, the target for the Yemenis has only been Israeli-flagged or Israeli-owned ships.
Now we're moving into U.S. and U.K.-owned ships.
We only attack ships associated with the Zionist entity.
Today, however, we'll be striking at maritime shipping related to America and Britain
and their interests in response to their aggression against Yemen, the source said.
You know, Doc, when I was about three years old,
when I was about three years old, I remember my grandfather sitting me down on his lap,
and he looked at me and he said, son, let me tell you something.
Don't ever tick off a Houthi.
He did?
No.
I was going to say, wow, he was way ahead of the curve.
But it's good advice.
Yes, because obviously they get pretty mad.
They get very mad.
And they know how to fight.
These guys are desert warriors.
And they know how to fight.
And they're not intimidated by the United States and Great Britain.
I expect them to respond soon.
I would be absolutely surprised if we make it through the weekend without a major Houthi
attack on a U.S. or U.K. ship in the Red Sea or a military base or Saudi oil fields.
They could hit Saudi oil fields. They could hit Saudi oil fields.
And they've made that attempt in the past.
They could hit refineries.
We could see, you know, oil and gas has been dropping, but not today.
It's up, the last time I looked, it was up about 230, 240 a barrel today.
But if the Houthis hit Saudi oil refineries or wells, you're going to see the price of oil and, of course, then gasoline is going to spike. Definitely, there's going to be inflation
and there's going to be delay in getting products
because no ships are going to go into the Red Sea now.
Nobody.
You'd have to be a stinking idiot
to send a cargo ship
with millions of dollars worth of cargo
up the Red Sea right now.
And I was watching a Bloomberg report today that some of those shipping costs now have
multiplied six times because they have to go around the Horn of Africa.
So that adds to the price pressure on products that are shipped.
And so I don't think we're going to have shortages, but you're going to have delays
and price increases and And price increases.
And definitely price increases.
Somebody's got to eat the price of the shipping costs.
And that's coming.
So you're going to see that within the next 30 to 60 days as the price increases work their way down to the retail level.
But it's going to happen. But if the Houthis hit any major ships or U.S. bases or Saudi oil refineries, at that point, Doc, oil and gasoline are going to skyrocket in price.
You can be certain of it. And this has the potential of shutting down Middle East shipping for possibly
several months. I mean, the U.S. would have to respond with heavy bombing of Yemen.

Russia's Medvedev warns of nuclear response if Ukraine hits missile launch sites.
All right, so now we just confirmed a missile package between the UK and Ukraine with the ability to hit Russian missile sites, Rick.
Swedes began prepping. I don't think that there was a prepper movement in Sweden before last week.
And supplies are running short now as a result. It says in this particular article from Fox News
that emergency supplies are flying off the shelves. And that's just with a statement from the defense minister saying, you know what?
You should prepare for war.
Look at the massive turnout by the farmers and by the truckers here.
Rick, I just didn't know there were that many tractors in Germany, to be honest with you.
But, I mean, they have turned out in force.
This is a substantial movement.
It's not anything to wink at.
It's not anything to take lightly.
The German farmers are truly upset about what's happening here.
And now the truckers have joined in on this.
They're shutting down traffic on the major highways.
They're holding rallies.
You can see, look at that highway. It is bumper to bumper
with trucks and tractors, and nothing is moving. They're going into the capital city.
There's another...
