TRUNEWS with Rick Wiles - Morning Manna - June 17, 2025 - Proverbs 3:31-35 - God's Secret is With the Righteous
Episode Date: June 17, 2025In this powerful conclusion to Proverbs chapter 3, Rick and Doc examine the sobering truths found in verses 31–35. The discussion warns against envying oppressors and embracing their ways, unpacking... the spiritual danger of admiration for the wicked. They teach that God's curse falls upon the house of the wicked, while His blessing rests on the just. The highlight of the study is verse 32, revealing that God shares His secret counsel only with the righteous—not with the proud or perverse. The conversation takes aim at societal envy, secret societies, and narcissistic influencers, all while emphasizing the divine reward of humility and wisdom. A deeply relevant message for today’s spiritually chaotic world.Rick Wiles, Doc Burkhart. us for this weekday Bible study sponsored by Faith and Values Fellowship. We are a church
in Vero Beach, Florida, and this Bible study is one of our religious services. And we are
delighted that you participate with us wherever you are in the world
We are a digital church
Which is absolutely amazing that technology has advanced in our lifetime that
The church the church has always been
global always worldwide has never been buildings and
global, always worldwide, has never been buildings. And so now, I was thinking about this Doc, technology is actually taking us back to the first century
church. Yes, we're meeting in homes, breaking
We're meeting in homes again. We're in homes again, and getting our eyes off of church buildings, church walls, church structures. You are the church!
And so we are just excited that so many people are here with us this morning. And many people
join us throughout the day on social media platforms. We stream at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Eastern
We stream at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Eastern on numerous platforms such as Getter and X and Rumble and YouTube and so forth.
You can find us at our, we've got two sites right now and that is Morning Manna.
We have a Morning Manna account on those social media sites, but we still are streaming under
the old true news name
and
Again, that was going to fade away here sometime soon. I'm I keep waiting for everybody to go over to the other one, but
I don't know why
You're gonna wait till I just turn it off
All right, so
But if you are here on faith and values.com, you don't have to go anywhere
So, but if you are here on faithandvalues.com, you don't have to go anywhere.
So there's no need for you to switch
and go someplace else if you are accessing us
on faithandvalues.com.
We are in the Book of Proverbs chapter three.
And today we will look at verses 31 through 35.
Amen.
I'm gonna pray, Doc's gonna read, and both of us are
gonna teach. Here we go. Almighty God, our wonderful Father in heaven, Father, your
name is above all names. You are the only God. There's never been another God. There
will never be another God. You've got that position all to yourself. There's not even a
close second runner, nobody. You are God, and you are our Father, and we are delighted to be in your
family. Father, your Word says that we should seek wisdom and understanding and discernment, and that's
why we're here, to study the book of Proverbs.
So we humbly ask for the Holy Spirit's inspiration to bring about revelation and understanding
of the book of Proverbs.
In the name of Jesus, amen.
Amen.
And as Rick mentioned, we are in Proverbs chapter 3, and we're going to be reading verses
31 through 35. I want to say good morning to everyone around the world or good afternoon
or good evening, depending on where you're at in the world. Because Rick, we have people
from the Congo, from Russia, from Malaysia, from the Philippines, from Brazil, all with
us today. Also friends in Japan and South Korea, and always a privilege to
welcome our international guests here each day and across the U.S. and Canada as well.
We welcome you.
We're picking back up in chapter 3 of Proverbs and verse 31.
I'm reading from the King James this morning.
Even envy thou not the oppressor and choose none of his ways.
For the foward is abomination to the Lord,
but his secret is with the righteous.
The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked,
but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
Verse 34, surely he scorneth the scorners,
but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
Verse 35, the wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
May God bless the reading of his word today. Amen. Verse 31,
envy thou not the oppressor and choose none of his ways.
World English Bible, don't envy the man of violence, don't choose any of his ways.
If you're new to morning manum, I have a teaching style that works for me. I hope it works for you. And that is I break apart each verse into
segments. To me it's easier when I study the Bible. I read the verse and then I mentally look at it
and I see segments and I focus on each segment and try to learn all the
meaning that I can find in that one segment and I go to the second segment
and the third segment then I put it all together. I've got a bigger picture.
That's the way I learn and that's the way I teach. I hope it's a blessing to you.
So let's break this down into three segments.
The entire verse is envy thou not the oppressor
and choose none of his ways.
Segment one is envy thou not or don't envy.
This emphasizes the danger of coveting
the wicked person's success.
It's telling us to reject envy
and that trusting that wisdom will lead to contentment
with God's righteous path.
Don't be envious, don't be jealous of the wicked.
You know, we look at them, they go, it's like,
they're just rolling in money, they're rolling in popularity,
they're never held accountable,
they do whatever they want to do, life is good for them.
It's been that way since the fall of man. I mean, it was that way with King Nimrod.
There have been wicked people and they have prospered in this world. And the righteous
look at it and say, this isn't fair. This isn't right. But what we have to remember
is God is saying to us the righteous, don't envy them. You don't know their end. You don't
see what I see. You don't know how their life is going to end. And you don't know where
they're going to spend eternity. Let that up to me. Let them have their good time now. It's going to come to an end.
You focus on pleasing me and I'll take care of you for eternity. heart to be free from jealousy and to not long for the ill-gotten gains of wicked people.
Envy is a destructive desire. It's not a good desire. There's no such thing as good envy.
There's no good jealousy.
It's a destructive desire.
As righteous saints, we are supposed to cultivate gratitude and to focus our hearts on God's
blessings rather than the wicked's prosperity.
And right now, in our society, and I
can't speak for other countries, but in America right now,
there is a growing anger towards anybody who is successful,
whether they're righteous or wicked.
There is a spirit of jealousy and envy in this country
and where it's going, if it's not stopped, where it's going is a French Revolution.
That's right. Because when that spirit gets loose in a society, eventually they drag successful people into the streets and kill them.
It's happened many times in world history.
French Revolution, prime example, that was unchecked envy, jealousy that became demonic.
So these negative thoughts, if they're not checked, they can become demonic.
They're demonic to start with, but when I say become demonic, I mean they metastasize.
It goes to a place where the person can't get out of it. They're just going in all the way.
That's why Jesus said, don't hate people. If you hate somebody, you've already committed murder.
Murder is committed by people who hate somebody.
Then there's an act of passion one day. Out of passion, the passion of their hatred, they shoot or stab somebody.
That's why you've got to keep these negative thoughts in check.
Eventually they will get out of control.
So this verse, the first segment, is warning against the seductive allure of envy.
Don't let this get into your heart.
Yes.
And it says thou, you.
Envy you not. Don't you envy.
Not talking about your neighbor, it's talking about you.
This is one of those personalized proverbs.
This is just for you.
Because it has you written in it. So it's for you, it's for me, it's
for Doc, it's for everybody. If you are you, it's for you. Second part, the word, the oppressor. This segment emphasizes the wickedness of those who
gain through violence through harm and this is saying do not admire an oppressor.
an oppressor. I'm just going to look, I'm doing my best not to say anything about politics and world
affairs, but it makes me disgusted to see so many American evangelical Christians admiring
Benjamin Netanyahu. He is an oppressor.
He's an evil, wicked, murderous oppressor.
A bloodthirsty man.
Why are American Christians admiring him?
They need to read this first, don't they?
You better believe it. But they don't see him as a man of violence because they
don't see the Palestinians as humans.
Right.
So the oppressor is a man of violence.
And that can be physical violence or financial violence.
If you plot to steal somebody's resources, you're a person of violence.
Yeah, you're an oppressor.
Bible warns about, hey, don't move the marker stones on the land that belongs to widows
and orphans.
Because you know the old days they marked boundaries with stones.
And then someone would come at night and they'd move the stone.
Yeah a little bit by little bit taking that person's land as though God didn't see them doing it.
That's an oppressor.
So an oppressor is somebody who exploits another person, especially a weaker person.
They're a bully, they go after weaker people
and steal from them.
They're morally bankrupt people.
They're morally bankrupt people. And this is a warning to not envy them.
Don't look at those kind of people and say, man, they just have it made.
They're just doing awesome things. And the fact that this warning is listed here,
and it's reinforced a couple of other times in Scripture,
what that tells me is there is the tendency at times to do that,
and that we have to be warned against it.
That there's the possibility even as believers
that we might be seduced by what we perceive
to be the success of the wicked in the world around us.
But the scripture makes it clear here,
do not align yourself with the oppressor.
Do not envy them.
Avoid them.
And then the third segment, Doc says,
and choose none of his ways. There
must be a deliberate rejection of evil paths and the oppressor's methods. You have to
say to yourself, I desire nothing to do with that person. That person is evil and wicked,
and I will not have anything to do with that person or his or her ways. Again, I'm not going
to say names, but here in America right now, there is a tendency among, especially, I'm just going
to say the evangelical Christians, to declare certain politicians and celebrities and musicians
and actors and actresses, they're Christian.
And there's nothing Christian in that person's life.
Yes.
Their lifestyle is decadent, it is anti-Christ, and yet the Christians will just embrace them
and say, they're one of us.
No, you're one of them.
Let's get this right.
They're not one of us, the church.
You are one of them, the lost. But they want to,
they'll put the Christian label on somebody that they seek to represent them.
Yeah, you know, the big trend in social media nowadays is to be an influencer, an influencer.
And what influencers do is they,
basically what they do is they just promote products.
That's all they do is they promote products.
It might be makeup, it might be hair tonic,
it might be whatever it might be,
but they are promoting a product.
They're a product themselves, but they promote products.
And the reason why people buy these products
is because they envy the influencer.
Yes.
Envy.
Oh my goodness.
What a dangerous disease envy is, Rick.
Doc, we saw at the meeting we attended last week,
we saw a statistic of the high percentage of Gen Z's that desire to be an influencer.
Yes.
It was like one of the top career choices of Gen Z generation members, to be a social media influencer.
Can you imagine back in your teenage years in Missouri telling your dad, you know dad,
what I'm going to be is an influencer.
Oh yeah, well influence this.
Get the grass cut.
Influence the grass.
Go out there and influence the yard.
Oh my, it's a sign of the insanity of our society.
I have to remind myself every day
that the American society has gone insane
and not to go with them.
Societies do go insane.
There is mass psychosis.
It's happened in history.
And we're in that cycle right now.
What's that?
It happens over and over again in history.
Yes.
And we're in that cycle right now.
Mass psychosis.
So choose none of his ways.
That means a clear decision. You have made a clear, definitive
decision to reject the ways of the evil person. You're not going to think about it. You're
not going to be enticed by it. You're not going to admire it. You find them repulsive.
It's OK to find wicked people to be repulsive.
It's OK.
If you didn't find them to be repulsive,
that means there's not much salt and light in you.
Right.
Now, what I'm saying doesn't mean
that you don't reach out to them with the gospel, of course you do
But you need to when you look at them on television or wherever you see them you just need to say your ways are disgusting
Not sit there and admire them
You know is you actually should grieve for them.
If you don't repent and change your ways,
you're going to end up in the lake of fire.
When you have that viewpoint,
then you feel sorry for them.
Verse 32, for the foward is abomination to the Lord,
but his secret is with the righteous.
For the perverse is an abomination to the Lord, but his secret counsel is with the righteous.
Let's start with Segment 1.
For the foward is abomination to the Lord. So this is emphasizing God's rejection of perverse behavior, behavior
that does not align with his standards. He says the foward, the perverse, are an abomination to him. Also, the Lord finds them repulsive too.
Yes.
That's hard for people to swallow, that the Lord looks at certain people and goes,
you know, saying, I find you disgusting.
You're an abomination to me. You're an abomination.
You think about it, one of your children grew up to become
a wicked, sadistic, murderous, thieving, conniving, lying criminal.
You get to the place where as a father or mother
you look at him and say, you know what, you're disgusting.
Well, that's not Christ-like.
No, it's very Christ-like.
There's a reason he made the lake of fire.
Froward, you can interchange the words foward or perverse.
What it means is, I think most people think it means perverted. It actually means stubbornly rebellious.
Not only is a person rebellious, but they're downright stubborn about it. Yes.
They dig in their heels and proudly proclaim they are rebellious.
That's what God says is disgusting to him.
A foward perverse attitude.
So, abomination, I mean, that speaks of the severity of God's rejection of that person.
Segment two, but his secret, modern English adds counsel, but his secret counsel.
So this is speaking of God's, let's read the whole thing.
For the foward is an abomination to the Lord, but his secret is with the righteous.
So it's not the foward person's secret, it's the Lord's secret.
Amen.
His secret.
Almighty God shares secrets with you.
Isn't that cool?
Oh, it's very cool.
And that's repeated again in Amos 3.7.
It says, surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he reveals his secret unto his servants, the prophets.
God's got a secret. I like that.
But he'll share it to those whom he trusts. He shares it with those whom he trusts. The secret counsel signifies privileged knowledge, divine insight.
That's not available to the wicked or to the complacent, to the lazy. It's only available to those whom the Lord trusts. But He'll
say, I'm going to give you divine knowledge. I'm going to give you wisdom, insight
into this matter, this problem, this trend, whatever's going on. I'll show you
something. I'll show it to you from my perspective here in heaven
It's his wisdom his secret
So yeah doc I'm thinking that you know all the the Masons and then so forth who pursue secret knowledge
Yes It's here
Yes, it's not in here. We are. We're reading the Proverbs written by Solomon.
And you've got these masons dreaming of rebuilding Solomon's temple so that they can find the secret
hidden knowledge. Right. But the secret hidden knowledge. Right.
But the secret hidden knowledge they're searching for is from Satan.
That's right.
And God says you don't need Solomon and you don't need the temple, you just need me.
Amen. I'm the secret you need to know.
I'll share with you my secret.
You want secret knowledge? Well come here and listen.
But you don't have to join a Masonic Lodge.
Right.
And why do people desire those secrets?
I mean in the worldly sense, why?
They seek control.
Yes, they have an advantage on others.
And in a way that's an extension of oppression, isn't it? I've got
information that I'm going to use to gain an advantage over you. Isn't that what it is?
It is. That's a source of envy and pride, those secrets. That's why people are so enticed by the
secret societies and the secret clubs, or
why so many Christians are drawn away by the secrets of the Kabbalah, or the secrets of
the Shemitah, or the secret of the wolf moon, or the blue moon, or the red moon, whatever
it might be.
All these different things. They're looking for some piece of information
that unlocks the secret to success and to everything in their life.
When the Lord says, hey, come here, I've got a secret that it's been. You know, some of these things I lose track of time.
It seems like, oh, it was just a couple of months ago.
How long has it been?
Has it been 15, 20 years ago?
Remember the book, The Secret?
Then there was a film called The Secret.
Oh, yeah, The Secret.
Basically, it was new age stuff.
It was very new age.
Causing confession and all that other stuff.
And so how to become wealthy, how to become successful, the secret, how
to manifest success.
Yes.
So, and I remember watching, Oh, my former employer, TBN.
I don't remember the people who were there,
various preachers, none of them really famous, you know, on a level that we
would say is famous, but they were, you know, they were famous enough to get on
TBN.
All right.
And Matt and Laurie Crouch were there, uh, hosting the, the show and there was
maybe five or six guests seated around them
And they were talking about
Um becoming successful in life and one of them
Winked and said yes, you need to know the secret
You need to know the secret.
And everybody there, Doc, all got a little grin and a little twinkle in their eye, and some of them had a little wink.
And I realized everybody sitting on that stage had read the secret.
It just solved with facial expressions. They knew what that person meant.
Right. And just be clear.
A group of preachers and they were pursuing secret knowledge.
Yes. And just be clear, that book, The Secret, and it was promoted everywhere. It was promoted
even among, you saw it in Christian bookstores.
Yeah.
Back when they had Christian bookstores. That. Back when they had Christian bookstores.
That might be why they don't have them anymore.
That's right. But that book is straight from the occult. It's the occult.
There's no... it's witchcraft, pure and simple, avoided at all cost.
It's a secret, all right. It's the secret of the devil.
But God's secret counsel is with the righteous.
Praise God. That's the only secret you need.
That promises divine revelation, companionship, advice, counsel to those who love God and embrace wisdom.
You don't need anything else.
His secrets are with the righteous.
That's right. We have access to so much knowledge and we're not seeking it every day. I'm preaching
to myself. We have access to the knowledge of the universe. All we have to do is ask for it. And if the Father deems it's good for us to know it, He'll share it with us.
Right.
But He's pretty open about His secrets, to be honest.
Yeah, He is.
We've got His Word.
He doesn't hide it.
It's not like He's, you know, it's like, let's play hide and seek.
No, He makes it an open secret.
It's a secret that you have to seek.
But there's some things he's not going to share with you.
For example, if I said to God today, would you give me the knowledge of the tree of,
of the, of good and evil?
You're going to say no, no, but I'll tell you why you can't have it.
See, that's, that's available. You can say, Lord, why can't we eat from the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil? He'll answer that question, but he's not going to tell you what the knowledge is.
Because the answer is you can't handle it. That's why we told, that's why I told
Adam and Eve, don't eat it. You're not wired for it. You can't handle it. So there are
things that he will not tell us, but he'll tell us those things about those subjects
that he deems permissible for us to know.
But we don't have to go to those kinds of subjects.
How about just dealing with everyday life?
Amen.
Father, I've got a big problem.
You're wise.
What's the solution?
You can ask God questions about all kinds of things. Ask him about the behavior of animals, if that fascinates you. He'll tell you. He made the animals. He'll tell you why they act that way.
Yeah, he'll tell you. Go to the ant, Val Sluggard, or he'll say consider the little birdies.
Look at the flowers. I got to see. He put wisdom in
birds and ants and flowers for men and women. Amen.
Verse 32. Oh, we did that one. 3333 you want to go to 33. Verse
33. 333 Oh my, that is almost, no, I'm not going to say that. The curse of the
Lord is in the house of the wicked, but he blesseth the habitation of the just. The Lord's
curse is in the house of the wicked, but he blesses the habitation of the righteous.
Let's start with the curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked.
That's the first segment.
So this speaks of God's judgment on the wicked.
Curse! Right? Not just disfavor. This is a curse. What a
curse means is a judgment has already been passed. Yes. So the curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked declares the consequences of wickedness.
You practice wickedness for a long time.
You have, if you display stubborn rebellion against the Lord, so no repentance, no brokenness, all right.
Where you're headed is you're going to get a curse.
And when God puts it on you, that's his business. And it's not our business.
The Lord may allow a person to go 10 years, 20 years, 40 years before he puts
that curse on them. Yeah, that's God's job, not yours. Yeah, that's his. He's merciful. He gives
people a chance to stop it, but it's divine judgment. And this scripture is telling us,
avoid the path of the wicked because you're going to end up with a curse.
Right. And where does the curse go? To your house. In the house? The whole family.
The whole family of the wicked. The house represents the household, all the affairs of the wicked person, their family
affairs, their social affairs, everything in the house.
There's a curse that comes upon the families of the wicked.
Have you ever heard someone say about a family? Oh, there's a curse on them.
You know, the father, he died a horrible, horrible death. And, and then, uh, years later, the son,
he, he was, oh, it was just terrible. And a daughter and daughter and and and some of the grandkids have you ever heard that yeah, I have
There's a curse on
You know what breaks the curse the blood of Christ
Amen any person in that household of the wicked has the right the
Opportunity to cry out to God and say, I know
there's a curse on this house, but I plead the blood of Jesus and I'm opting out of the
curse. And God will take you out of the curse. Amen. You just call upon the name of the Lord and plead the blood of the Savior and you set
free the curse.
If not, that curse is going to continue generation after generation. But he blesseth.
This is God's favor toward the righteous.
It promises abundant blessings in the lives of the righteous. So if the house of the wicked is cursed, the house of the righteous is blessed look no matter
what's happening inside your household if you're not responsible for certain certain rebellion against God, the Lord will honor your faith in your righteousness.
You may be dealing with a family member that's a renegade outside of the kingdom of God. God will bless you. That person will enjoy your blessings. But there'll be a day
that person's got to take ownership of his or her wickedness. The Lord is not going to to curse you because somebody in your household is sinful and rebellious.
Yes. They'll come a point in time where they will say,
I can't stand this righteousness.
They'll have to escape it.
They will on their own.
So the question now becomes Rick,
and this is for every one of us, is our house, is your house where you live, is it a habitation of wickedness or a habitation of the just?
That is a very good question.
Because Satan gets his claws into our homes. Amen. And we can't tolerate it. We just can't tolerate it.
If you're in that situation, you just cry out to God and say, God, this is wrong.
You just cry out to God and say God this is wrong
Satan has a a foot hold in this house. I
Can't tolerate it anymore. I'm I'm crying out to you for deliverance. Tell me what to do and I will do it
It may be extreme may be radical the Lord may tell you move out of that house
Yes
The Lord may tell you you're gonna have to tell this spouse I can't live like this anymore
And I'm not going to stay here as long as you behave like this. I'm not advocating divorce, I'm advocating
separation for the sake of your sanity. Don't let the devil slouch on your couch. Oh, that'll preach.
I just, I just got an image in my head of the stinking devil just slouching on somebody's sofa.
Eating Cheetos, watching Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Right. And telling the homeowner, bring me another Coke.
I want a pizza. Come on, bring me another Coke.
I want a pizza. Come on, get it over here. Chaos and misery in the house.
You know, at some point you just have to say, I've had enough of it.
It doesn't mean you're getting a divorce. It just simply means you're telling the other spouse, your ways are not
acceptable and I am not going to accept it anymore. So get your act together. I know
it's tough. So, you know, a lot of marriage counseling, they don't go, the counselors don't go below
the surface level.
And they don't want to get down to the, oh, this person's got a demon.
That's the problem.
No, they don't want to go there.
No, you get, demons get inside homes.
So let me read this whole thing again so we know where we're at.
The Lord's curse is in the house of the wicked, but he blesses the habitation of the righteous.
So the third part is the habitation of the righteous, the just.
He blesses the habitation of the righteous wherever you are habitating.
If you got to move out of your house to a small apartment, He'll bless the place of
your habitation.
He'll bring peace into your mind and your heart and your body because living under that
continual stress is harmful to your body. It's harmful to
your mental health, your spiritual health. You can't worship God when there's
somebody in your house who is absolutely outside of the kingdom of God and doing
everything he or she can do to wreck your life. You can't worship God in that atmosphere. So there's divine favor on
whatever place where the righteous is living. Yeah, if it's a tent, that's going
to be a blessed tent. Amen.
Now verse 34, where are we on time?
Surely he scorneth the scorners, but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
Praise God.
Modern English, surely he mocks the mockers, but he gives grace to the humble. Segment one, surely he scorneth the scorners, he mocks the mock righteousness. That's not good. Just the picture of that. He sets
you up in a situation when you're a wicked person, when you are a wicked
stubborn rebellious person that refuses to submit to the Holy Spirit, God sets up situations where you can be mocked.
And he's doing the mocking.
Amen.
So this verse is declaring God's utter disdain for proud, stubborn, rebellious sinners, particularly
the people who mock wisdom.
The word scorns or mocks, this is speaking of God's rejection of those people. When you get to the place
that you are mocking somebody, you've already rejected them. You don't mock and scorn somebody
that you love and embrace. You mock somebody that you have rejected. So if God is scorning and mocking somebody, He has already
rejected them.
Yes.
Why? Because they reject His truth. You have to understand how important God holds His Word.
I mean, in His world, His Word is like way up there.
Okay? It's like way, way up there.
Don't mock His Word.
Yes.
You know why? His Word and His Son are the same.
That's right. You can't separate the two.
They're one and the same. In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God.
The Word was God. Same was in the beginning with God. So if you're mocking
the Word, you're mocking Jesus. That's right. That's why He gets then out of shape about it. Okay But he gives grace
There's generous favor towards the humble
He promises grace to the humble it's a guarantee
But he gives grace it's the opposite of what He gives
to scorner. He gives the wicked scorn. He gives the humble grace. Praise God. And that grace includes divine kindness.
It just does kind things for you.
You stop and you go, wow, that was from the Lord.
That was you, Father.
You just did that for me.
I have those things happening often.
And I'm not talking about big fireworks going off.
I'm talking about small, intimate, just kind, beautiful things that the Lord will do for
me.
He just, no, that was from Papa.
He just sent you a bouquet of roses and says, I love you.
It's his favor, his kindness towards his own, his children. Those of you who are in an abusive relationship, you've got to turn your mind off from the
emotional abuse.
Redirect your thinking and your emotions towards the father's love.
Let the father's love drown out the abuser's abuse.
Yes.
Okay. I know that's not easy, but I go back to what I said earlier. Sometimes you just
have to pack your suitcase and go and say, I'm going to be over here until you get a change of attitude.
I can't allow this to go on anymore.
You are interfering in my worship of God.
I'm not going to allow it.
You're robbing my peace and joy.
I'm not going to allow it.
You can stay here and be miserable with yourself.
I don't know why I'm talking like this today, Doc. Someone needs to hear it, Rick.
I know. God willing, in a couple weeks, I'm going to start a new podcast on narcissistic behavior. There's an explosion of narcissism in the world right now, especially
in America. Right. It's one of the signs of the last days. Yes. That's what the Lord showed me
over the weekend. It's linked to the last days days an explosion of narcissism. I've never heard anybody say this
So you've heard it for the first time you're hearing it from me
the explosion in narcissism is directly linked to an
explosion of demonic activity on earth in the lives of
Unsafe people and it's linked
to the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
And the demonic activity through narcissistic people is to destroy the lives of the righteous.
Do you understand? If you are dealing with a narcissist that is Satan seeking to destroy your soul
To bring you to a place of insanity
That's what it's all about
Is to suck out of you all the energy in your soul and leave you
Like a all the energy in your soul and leave you like a shell, a corn shell, nothing inside of it, a haul.
Right. You know what a haul is? You know, the seed's gone. It's just an empty container.
That's what the narcissist is seeking to do, to pull all of the life energy out of you, so that you're just an empty container and you're unable to shine for Christ.
But he brings grace unto the humble, to the lowly. Praise God for that. Verse 35. The wise shall
inherit glory, but shame shall be the promotion of fools. Oh my, you don't want to get a promotion like that. Hey, I'm promoting you to the rank of fool.
Here's your sign.
I'm an idiot.
Segment one, the wise shall inherit glory.
What do we inherit? Eternal reward for wisdom is to inherit the glory
of God and His Kingdom. That's the eternal reward of wisdom
You're going to inherit God's glory
It's a lasting reward it's eternal never ends
But wise describes those who live by God's principles. Right.
The inheritance is certain.
It's not a maybe, it's a guaranteed certainty.
Inherit conveys that a gift has been promised.
Yes.
But not just any gift, an honorable gift, a dignified
gift, a valuable gift, the glory of God Himself.
But let's look and see what fools,
or what the wicked shall inherit.
They get an inheritance too. They inherit foolishness,
shame, humiliation, dishonor. It's, but shame shall be, but shame shall be, shame shall be shall again certainty take it to the bank is
going to happen the wicked shall inherit shame guaranteed they show but but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
Isn't it ironic that the proud and haughty people of the world end up getting the title fool?
people of the world end up getting the title fool? So ironic.
Those who promote themselves in the world as so powerful and mighty and important and
famous and invaluable, at the end of their, God sticks a big old sticker on their forehead and says,
Hey, you're a fool. I'm telling you, there's some people in this country, and I know around the
world, that Christians are idolizing. And those people in God's eyes are fools. Amen.
You better stop idolizing fools.
They're future fools.
Some are current fools.
Yes. Right now they think that they're really important. They're very special.
But God's already got a sticker made for them.
He's gonna promote them on judgment day.
Line up, you're getting a promotion.
All of you are fools.
All of you on the left side, you goats, you're fools.
All of you on the right side, you sheep, you're saints. Come on in.
Fools are people who reject God's wisdom, reject his word, reject his son, reject God.
They're fools. There's no other word for it. They're fools.
That's it for chapter 3. How about that?
We did chapter 3. Tomorrow we'll start Proverbs chapter 4.
Alright. Very exciting and great lesson today. I hope you take it to heart. What I'm taking
away today is my house. Is it a habitation of righteousness or a habitation of wickedness?
I hope everyone would say that your house is a habitation of righteousness or a habitation of wickedness. I hope everyone would say that your
house is a habitation of righteousness, but make sure that the righteous are living there. So
praise God. Well, we appreciate you being here with us here on Morning Manna this morning. This is a
ministry of faith and values fellowship here in V beach and we appreciate you taking time out of your schedule to
be here with us live. Usually we have anywhere from 3 to 400 people with us
alive each and every weekday morning studying the word of God together. But
that doesn't count the people that listen to us on repeat and also on the
restream on true news dot com and also all the various social media sites,
YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Rumble. So we're in all those places. So if you know people that
occupy those spaces, and you'd like to introduce morning manna to them, that's a great opportunity
for you to be able to do that as well. Yes. So I got this. Rachel, thank you so much. That's a very kind comment you made.
It made my day.
Rachel posted, Rick and Doc, both of you are end time preachers.
You are preparing the brides for the Lord Jesus.
The beauty I learned in this class is that both of full love and I see also changes in both lives.
So Doc, she sees that you've gotten better.
Good. I hope we're better looking too in the process.
From the last time, a few years back, and now I see both of you are different.
That's encouraging.
Harley can find pastors that are full of passion for the sheep.
Thank God for Rick and Doc.
I'm indeed blessed.
This is church I long to be.
Thank you so much.
Amen. Appreciate that.
I'll just float for a couple hours with that one.
Amen.
Praise God. Well, we invite you to be back here with us again tomorrow, 8 a.m. live for Morning Manna. And we would be greatly privileged to not only have you here, but to invite a friend to come join you and to participate in this daily Bible study, this ministry of faith and values fellowship until Wednesday morning tomorrow morning 8 a.m.
I'm Doc and on behalf of Rick Walls this is Morning Manic. God bless you, we love you, and we'll see you then.
