TRUNEWS with Rick Wiles - Morning Manna - Nov 20, 2025 - Proverbs 16:26-28 - Motives, Mouths, and Mischief
Episode Date: November 20, 2025Proverbs 16:26–28 reveals three powerful forces shaping human conduct. Hunger drives honest labor, pushing a man forward by necessity and diligence. But the ungodly dig up evil with intentional effo...rt, and their lips burn like fire—words capable of igniting destruction. The whisperer quietly sows strife, separating even the closest friends through secret slander. In today’s Morning Manna, Rick Wiles and Doc Burkhart explore how godly motives produce good fruit, while corrupt hearts use speech to deceive, divide, and destroy. This passage calls believers to discern motives, guard their tongues, and reject the whispers that tear relationships apart.Teachers: Rick Wiles and Doc BurkhartYou can partner with us by visiting FaithandValues.com, calling 1-888-519-4935, or by mail at PO Box 399 Vero Beach, FL 32961.MEGA FIRE reveals the ancient recurring cycles of war and economic collapse that have shaped history for 600 years. for this additional morning manna we are still continuing our study in proverbs chapter 16
we're going to pick back up on verse 26 today and i encourage you uh open up your scriptures now
no matter what version of the bible that you're reading here uh let's open up let's read together
the word of god we're going to be focusing on verses 26 through 29 today and so i'm reading
from the king james this morning beginning at verse 26 he that labroth labroth for himself
for his mouth craveth it of him an ungodly man diggeth up evil and in his lips there is as a burning fire verse 28 a forward man so is strife and a whisper separates chief friends and then verse 29 Rick a violent man enticeth his neighbor and leadeth him into the way that is not good God bless the reading of the word today amen
First 26, he that laboreth, laboreth for himself, for his mouth crave it of him.
The Aramaic Peshida says, the appetite of the laborer works for him, for his mouth compels him.
What does this mean?
the appetite of the laborer works for him for his mouth compels him he the king james is he that laboreth
the person who works full engagement body mind soul will
he or she labors for himself she labors for herself she labors for herself okay
it's it actually has to do with survival right it's teaching us that labor is god ordained
we read about it in genesis chapter three paul talks about it in thessalonians
second thessalonians chapter three labor is god ordained now in the garden of eden
let's understand the difference
in the Garden of Eden
Adam did not have to work
to make anything grow
that's right
his labor was in keeping the garden
taking care of it
and harvesting
the fruit
that God calls to grow
but
the
the important thing to understand
saying is that in the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve did not have to struggle and work and
do backbreaking labor to come up with food. God provided the harvest. The trees, the plants,
everything just were filled with fruits and vegetables. It was a gift from God. But Adam had to
take care of the garden it was trimming to do there's there's all kinds of they obviously harvest
you know harvest is work you don't think so go ask do it spend a day on a farm and and so
there's work after the garden after adam was expelled adam and eve were expelled from the garden
God put a curse on Adam's labor.
And he said, buddy, I got news for you.
You're now outside of the garden.
You're in the wasteland.
You're out here in the dry land.
And you are going to work hard.
And you're going to have to wipe sweat from your brow.
Your back's going to hurt.
because
Adam and Eve
voluntarily
disqualified
themself from living in the garden.
So
work is God ordained.
Here is the
important thing for us to understand
as believers.
The curse has been removed.
right for us the curse has been removed we still work but when we rest in christ he makes things grow for us
there is a rest for the people of god hebrews said that they in the book of hebrews that the
hebrew people did not enter into god's rest in the wilderness but now that we
we have entered into that Shabbat rest, that Sabbath rest, in Christ.
That's right.
So we are to rest in Christ and let Christ bring, make everything that we do flourish.
We're still laboring.
We're still working.
We're gathering the harvest.
We're taking care of the things that he's given us.
But we are not making things grow.
And I think this is one of the biggest misconceptions in the body of Christ that so many Christians go to work every day thinking I have to make this work.
I have to make my business work. I have to make my job work. I have to do it instead of
resting in Christ and letting him bring abundance to you and your activity is taking care of what
he's given you and harvesting what he's given you it's a different mindset you have to rest
i've said this before you know my my seventh day adventist friends you know
Rick, are you going to become a seventh day Adventist?
No, I'm a seven-day Adventist.
That's right.
The Lord taught me to rest on seven days.
You, SDA, people, are only resting on one day.
That's good.
That's good.
I'm not criticizing you for it.
That's good.
But there's more.
You need to rest on the other six days.
You mean not to go to work?
That's not what I've said.
Rest.
rest let him bless the work so labor is god ordained and labor is healthy idleness is is destructive
even rich people who are idle end up in a lot of trouble because there's too much they have too much time
on their hands right work builds character it builds trust in god so what this is teaching us is that hunger
is a teacher now labor for yourself and this is what is saying he that laboreth laboreth for himself
okay the man or woman who works works for himself or herself
that's not selfishness
that's survival it's survival
that's what is teaching us that
god expects us to work
and that hunger is a teacher
We work not just for food and for the necessities of life, but it's actually for our souls.
Yes.
A life lot.
You've got to understand, folks, it's not just talking about food here.
The application here is that Salon's making a point.
You know, there's a natural drive to work.
Why?
you like to eat right you want a meal right at some point hunger some point will
compel you to do something to get rid of that hunger we call that labor yes so self-labor
is a it's a form of stewardship because it it involves the care and the use of your body
your time and your gifts from god we could do an entire study on the parables
on the talents of what God expects from us.
Look at the example.
Jesus Christ is our example.
His early life was as a carpenter.
He worked with his hands.
He built things.
Imagine owning a chair or table made by,
Jesus Christ you know it was the best you could buy he was a craftsman he worked with his father
Joseph and learned the trade of a carpenter so he he did it to show us the way
look I'm working I'm developing his skill
I'm being productive.
I'm creating things.
See, even people who are financially secure,
and I don't necessarily mean wealthy,
but you made good decisions,
you have a steady income,
maybe you don't have to go to a job anymore.
You're retired and you have a steady income.
You still are not permitted to be unproductive.
In fact, I think you're more required to be productive.
you have free time do something for the kingdom yes become become a missionary
make yourself a servant go somewhere in your community and serve christ you have time
so we should we should view work as
worship that our work glorifies God and it is part of his plan for our lives Susan and I were having a
conversation today talking about the homeless people she ministers to across the street from
our office here I guarantee you she's over there right now and it's to my right if I
just look out this window over here she's she's over there in the park
ministering to homeless people.
They don't work, do they?
Well, guess what?
They're homeless.
That's what this is teaching.
For his mouth craves it of him.
World English Bible says,
for his mouth urges him on.
The Aramaic Pashita says,
for his mouth compels him.
The Septuagin says, drives from him his own ruin.
Hunger is the engine of labor.
It's the divine motivator.
His mouth craves, needs, desires.
to satisfy a hunger it craves it of him craves it what's the it the labor demands precious
presses forces the hunger is the motivator so appetite is god-given
God designed us
to have an appetite
right
but not to be a glutton
see that's the other extreme
where the appetite
becomes the goal
not the satisfaction of the appetite
yes
think of hunger
as your body's
alarm clock
it tells you to arise and go to work if you desire to eat
right
you know doc i never thought about
hunger as being divinely
a divine plan that god placed hunger in us
to compel us to work
right
so his this divine appetite
placed in us is is God's mercy it motivates us not to waste our lives right and just like in the natural if you
have a hunger but you all you eat is fast food and candy bars and head of chips and everything else
what's going to happen to you you're you're going to die spiritually god's also placed a spiritual hunger
in us as well. A spiritual hunger. And in that spiritual hunger, we should be motivated to find
satisfaction for that hunger. But what do people do? They find the fast food answer in the
spiritual round. Or they find something that turns out to be bad for their spiritual health,
a false teaching, a false doctrine, a false religion. So just that we have a physical need for
food that produces labor in us. We also have a spiritual hunger for spiritual food that should
motivate us in spiritual labor as well. That's why you're here today. You are exercising the
fulfillment of that spiritual hunger by being in this class today. That's right. All of us are
spiritually hungry. And we satisfy our spiritual hunger by eating the bread of life. Amen.
who is Jesus Christ and we we satisfy our spiritual thirst by drinking living water
but in the physical realm we we have to have food and water and God put a an appetite
in us to keep us from being lazy so we we respond to hunger we work now eat
later, we rebuke procrastination. An empty stomach means urgent action has to be taken.
If there's no food in the house, you can't procrastinate for weeks. You will get moving.
And if you're a parent and you have little children and their little mouths are open and they like to eat,
all day long you're motivated you've got to have food in the house
I remember that feeling doc when I was a young parent
oh man I remember that motivation I got to get up and get moving these kids
want to eat yeah it changes your perspective on things doesn't it
sure does you can't just you can't you know when you're
a bachelor you can you can survive on ramen noodles but not when you got a family you've got those babies
those babies need milk and milk cost money that's right so the mouth craving all right is is god's
whip and carrot pain to move promise to reward there's a cycle here hunger
leads to labor
which leads to a satisfied mouth
which leads to a mouth that craves again
which produces more labor
and you have this sustainable cycle
but it's God's cycle
he created the cycle
he designed a cycle
hunger is not punishment
is propulsion
he knows our character
if we didn't hunger we wouldn't do anything now rick you and i are kind of cut from a different
kind of cloth here we uh we were taught you and i both you know that work was a necessity work was
something you did and that a lot of times we identify ourselves with our work our the job that we
do it becomes our identity and everything uh but i know
for me, Rick, and it's probably the same for you, is I've never had a problem going to work.
And I like it. I like it. I like it. You know, there was a joke my dad used to make about a
fella that he was allergic to work. You know, it caused him to break out in hives. There
are individuals like that, but I've always enjoyed work.
But this verse has caused me to reevaluate that in the sense that, all right, I enjoy that work is, but do I have that same drive spiritually to work to labor for my spirit, for my spiritual destiny?
I have no problem showing up, going to work, being at work early, staying late, doing whatever you need to do.
Do I have that same attitude when it comes to my spiritual life?
Do I put the same priority in my spiritual life?
Am I really just eat living on junk food experience spiritually,
or am I really seeking to labor to put spiritual food on my table?
So that's what I'm taking away from this verse today, Rick.
I have no problem with my mind working for a living and putting food on the table.
What about spiritual food?
what about good spiritual food in my life well depends on what are you hungering for
do i hunger and thirst after righteousness is that is that on my spiritual menu honestly
but that's a genuine question i have to ask myself yes do i hunger and thirst for it
for righteousness and what did jesus promise
that's the reward that's the meal they shall be fed all right that's the reward you know doc from time to
times you know some people accuse me of being a workaholic and they'll say well you're 72 years old
you should have retired seven years ago 65 you know here you are still still working doc i haven't had a job in 27
years my last job was TVN I resigned there in 1998 I haven't had a job since
1998 but I get up at 4 a.m. You know why this is not work it's not work this is
fun this is a pleasure this is an honor this is a privilege i get to work for my father right
and it's not work it gives me grace gives me energy gives me vitality and so when people say
you're working i i haven't worked in 20 27 years i've labored
I've labored for the Lord, but I haven't gone to the job, okay?
I don't consider this a job.
This isn't a career.
I'm serving my father.
So getting back to this verse,
this cycle of work and eat, okay?
This is a mirror of grace.
Okay.
We work by strength.
We eat by mercy.
Oh.
It's God's mercy that feeds us.
And in the natural, God, it's God who sustains the cycle.
He sends rain.
He gives seed.
He brings the harvest.
But the world, and Satan, they,
Satan has a completely opposite cycle.
Greed, excess, emptiness.
It's a loop.
Sin's loop.
You should lust after something.
You should get all that you can get.
But you're empty.
You're not satisfied.
Right.
And that's where a lot of people are.
they're greedily chasing something that somebody's told them that if you have this you're
going to be satisfied but they never they can never catch it they can never get it so we're
being told to work hard and eat humbly that's that's the cycle that's that's the
motto here work hard and eat humbly
Charles Spurgeon said, the stomach is a good preacher.
It says, get up and work.
Go to the next verse 27.
An ungodly man, oh, this one's going to be good.
An ungodly man diggeth up evil.
And in his lips there is as a burning fire.
The Aramaic Peshida says a wicked man digs up evil and on his lips is a burning fire.
And the Septuagin says, but the perverse bears destruction upon his own mouth.
A foolish man digs up evil for himself and treasures fire on his own lips.
So we begin with the first segment, an ungodly man,
ungodly woman digs up evil what does this mean well let's start with ungodly man ungodly woman
a man a woman of belal worthless all right a rebel a rebel against god this is an ungodly if you're ungodly
you are the opposite of godly
that makes you a rebel
rebels are ungodly
and this ungodly man or woman
digs up evil
digs up
that means
there's deliberate excavation
there's searching
plotting
it's not evil that
they stumble upon but it's evil that they pursue and actively work at mining it yes so satan
provides the shovel to ungodly men and women to enable them to dig up dirt on other people
i'm telling you this is a big sin if you are involved in digging up dirt on some
you are in serious trouble ungodly digging glorifies Satan you're using his tools you are
working his trade digging up dirt is proactive it as I said it plans it schemes it
Executes harm.
It's destructive.
It searches for and uncover sin.
It buries peace.
It poisons relationships.
In politics, it's called opposition research.
There are companies, agencies that exist primarily for the purpose of gathering
information about political leaders or individuals perceived as political threats.
Right now in Washington, D.C., and in Chicago, in Los Angeles, and other cities around the world,
there are people in offices today being paid to dig up dirt on somebody.
Right. For what purpose?
To bring them down. Right.
to destroy their lives to burn their house down burn their house down ruin their reputation
eliminate them as a spokesperson destroy their reputation their effectiveness
this is the opposite of the sweet lips that we talked about yesterday
and doctors do it in lawsuits and divorces
they dig up dirt
on the other party in the lawsuit
or the other party in a divorce
for what purpose
when we go into court we're going to humiliate you
we're going to absolutely humiliate you
and they use that to control people
yes
there's sabotage
There's extortion, blackmail.
Okay, I know something about you.
And if you don't do what I say, I'm going to destroy you.
And isn't it interesting that that word dig is used there?
You know, it's not like, well, I just happen to find it laying around.
No, no, no.
This digging is to excavate, you know, to like a miner in a mine shaft.
What's a minder doing in a mine shaft?
He's down there.
He's looking for something of value that he can bring back up out of that deep mind.
You have to use a pick and shovel.
That's right.
You're working at it.
Yes.
And you're trying to find something that's covered.
So people's sins are covered.
And ungodly people work at digging up a sin that's covered.
something that's not becoming to somebody,
something that there's no reason for the public to know about it.
And you'll have somebody saying,
I am going to dig it up and I'm going to expose
and I am going to bring that person down.
And God says, you're on the short list for judgment.
I mean, this puts you on the short list.
judgment is certain
i'm telling you god sees the digger and the digging
especially think of the gravity of the sin
when you are digging up the sin that somebody repented of and god forgave
you're now getting over into an area you have no business being in
and there are people who do it they do it every day I mean doc across the hallway here in my office there's a law firm and they specialize they specialize in divorces and I guarantee you they're over there right down today digging up dirt on people to use in a loss in a divorce case
that's what people do
they make a living at this
George Soros
pays millions of dollars
to organizations to dig up dirt
on political organizations and political leaders
and religious leaders
and anybody that
that is opposing their agenda
he spends millions of dollars to do it
and isn't the whole Jeffrey Epstein
debacle from beginning to in, isn't it summed up in this verse here?
Yeah, because what Jeffrey Epstein was doing was enticing people to sin.
Right.
Right.
Creating the evil.
And then promising he would never reveal their sin.
There's the lips right there.
I won't talk about it.
I won't reveal it.
So are you guilty of digging up dirt on other people?
Do you go on the internet and search and try to find unpleasant things about somebody
so you can gossip and tell people about it?
Are you guilty of that sin?
It's very serious.
Because dirt digging is habes.
ritual. It's addictive. One whole leads to another. And people become addicted. And you see people
who have actually created in the church ministries. I've got a ministry of exposing sins.
That's not, God didn't call you to that ministry. You're working for Satan. Let the Lord
deal with people you know Jesus faced dirt diggers the Pharisees the
Pharisees they they dug dirt they were trying to find something dirty on Christ they
couldn't find anything what did Herod say what do they say at the
pilot I find no I find no fault in this man
he couldn't find anything but the dirt diggers were digging they they they wanted to silence jesus
okay and in his lips there is as a burning fire and in his or her lips there is a scorching fire
who gets burned hot lips yesterday we were talking about sweet lips now we're talking about hot lips
the speech is a weapon the lips are the launching pad the burning fire scorching
words that ignite destroy burn others it's verbal arson cool setting souls on fire setting reputations
ablaze burning down businesses and ministries and churches and homes and families
arson
verbal arson
it's intentional
it's fueled by malice
it's fan
that's going to stick with me
what's that
that's going to stick with me
verbal arson
and it's intentional doc
it's fueled by bitterness and malice
I'm going to get even
for whatever
reason the person thinks he or she is justified in burning down somebody else's life.
And how am I going to do it? I'm going to dig up dirt and I'm going to spread it.
And I'm going to hurt that person. I'm going to make that person really pay.
I'm going to destroy that person. Let me tell you something. God judges fiery lips.
James chapter three said the tongue is set on fire of hell
yeah the fiery lips it the fiery lips are burning other people and their reputations
and their lives and their families and businesses and ministry but the fiery lips end up
burning the person who spread the fire
Yesterday we talked about sweet healing words, words that soothe and bring healing.
Today we're talking about fiery words, words that scorch and burn.
See, lies, curses, accusations, start flames.
that leave ashes.
Even the truth
can be used maliciously.
What is important is the intent of the heart.
I know things about important people
that I have never told and never will tell.
Yes.
It just won't.
It just won't do it.
I'm not going to destroy the reputation.
I'm not going to destroy the reputation.
I could easily start naming people over many decades.
Hey, here's a famous prayer.
I know about this.
But I've never told it because I don't know how they worked it out with the Lord.
And I'm not going to get, I'm not making myself God, Jr.
And when you are digging up dirt to punish somebody,
you have appointed yourself as God Jr.
You're bringing judgment.
You are now the judge.
I am going to rule and I'm going to execute judgment.
And it's just another form of pride.
An idolatry.
Yep.
Okay.
So you should see fiery lips as hell's vent,
as spewing smoke and just scorching souls.
Fire spreads.
Starts with one word, then more words.
One person is burned, then more people are burned.
Fire spreads.
And before you know it, a fire has burned out an entire family or an entire church or a movement or whatever, all caused by somebody with fiery lips.
But the fire consumes the fire breather.
The liar, the accuser eventually is burned up by their own words.
because the fire originated in hell
the fire leaves scars
emotional scars spiritual scars
financial scars
reputational scars
you can't have a fire
and not have scars
fires burn
and the damage can last for decades
I know a local
Christian leader
he is just
one of the most beautiful souls
you'll ever meet
this merciful and kind
but many years ago
he was the victim
of lies
and decades ago
and when he talks about it
you can see the pain on his face
it still hurts Doc
decades later
it still hurts him
you know why
fire burned
fire burns he lost a lot because somebody told lies about him
and people believe the lies and it cost him a lot
and he still winces when he talks about it
that's the damage of words
if now maybe you're not
the one digging up dirt
but maybe you're the one that likes to examine dirt that somebody else dug up well
you're just as guilty if the dirt digger has no customers the dirt digger will go
out of business so don't be a customer for a dirt digger I mean what I'm out
of business I'm not I'm not I'm not I'm not I'm not I'm not I'm not I'm not
I'm not interested in what you have to offer.
Because it's going to come with a curse.
Verse 28,
a froward man soweth strife and a whisper separateth chief friends.
A perverse man sowed strife.
A whisper separates friends.
the Septuagin says a perverse man spreads mischief and will kindle a torch of deceit with mischiefs and he separates friends
a throwward man okay feroord perverse crooked bent twisted contrary to God's words okay a heart bent against truth
against God's order, against God's peace.
That's a froward man or woman.
A lot of religious people are froward.
Yeah.
They have an outer shell, a mask.
I'm religious.
I go to church.
But they're inwardly, they are froward.
They are perverse.
They're crooked.
They're twisted.
Their heart is bent away from God, away from His
order away from his peace. They soweth strife. They plant. They collivate. They harvest strife.
It's not accidental. It's intentional. If you sow strife, you are deliberately planting seeds of
division and strife. This perversity produces conflict. It mangles and
and twist relationships.
The seeds are planted, the seeds grow,
and a harvest is reaped in division
and strife and hurt feelings
and devastated lives.
See, God hates sewers of discord.
Proverbs 619 assures us that judgment is certain.
there's just certain things I mean God tells us this is what I hate it's not who he hates
it's what he hates yes a froward mouth poor soers of discord people who stir up strife and
division so all
of us need to ask ourselves the question am i planting strife or peace am i participating in gossip
i didn't dig up the dirt but i listened to it and then i told other people about it
so you're participating in the sin again you may not be the one who is digging up dirt and gossiping
but if you're listening to them,
you're participating in their scent,
and that's where you have to say to your friend or coworker,
I'm sorry,
if you're going to talk about that person,
I'm going to have to leave.
Yeah, that's what you need to do.
You draw a boundary.
Can we change the subject?
If you're not willing to change the subject,
I'm going to have to excuse myself.
I can't sit here and talk about somebody.
people i guarantee you talk all over the all over the world right now in coffee shops in restaurants
in in break rooms and offices and in living rooms people are gathered to talk about other people
and don't discount social media rick oh social media thrives on this that's all it is that's really yeah
that's the majority of activity on social media oh i think satan invented social media
if he didn't invent it he certainly he has milked it for all he can get out of it
because it's it's it's gossip on you know on steroids right but just remember saying
Satan is the father of lies.
He is the accuser of the brethren.
Don't help him.
Don't participate in what he's doing.
Don't go into farming with Satan.
Don't be out there digging for his benefit.
And a whisper separateth chief friends.
A whisper in this case means a gossiper.
a slander a tail bearer speaking things in secret spreading things in the shadows
did you hear what happened to so-and-so you didn't oh my let me tell you oh did you know that
so-and-so's marriage is falling apart no i didn't know that oh well let me tell you did you hear that
so-and-so's business is in trouble and made clothes?
No, where did you hear that?
There's a whispers.
These are whispers.
Slandering, gossiping, tail-bearing.
What's a tail-bearer?
Somebody that, a bearer is somebody who's carrying a tale, a story.
Separates chief friends.
intimate allies close companions it gets inside and it divides people splits up relationships
can split up a family a marriage a business I've seen it in organizations I've seen
organizations just split apart because one person got hired and brought that spirit
into the organization.
Right.
Goes from office to office
slandering,
planting thoughts.
Like a virus.
Like a virus.
God abhors,
whispers.
Leviticus,
chapter 19, verse 16,
there's judgment on lips
that spread gossip.
Again, modern day, our churches, we simply don't warn church members, how serious the sin is.
Again, and it goes with, tail bears go with those who dig up dirt.
You can have the dirt digger and the gospel being the same.
one and the same or the dirt digger is the one that that works at finding it and then gives it to a gossiper
hey i didn't tell anybody i only told one person yeah you told the biggest mouth in town
and you chose that person because you know he or she's a big mouth and it's going to tell
everybody it's a weapon and and it's
stories are being weaponized
for the purpose of hurting another person
destroying families
splitting churches
last one
let me go down to
verse 29
a violent man
enticeth his neighbor
and leadeth him into the way that is not good.
All right.
So this verse identifies the aggressive person as somebody who uses charm or deception to lure others into harm.
you know what doc i think i'm going to save this for tomorrow
or today's thursday is today's thursday oh tomorrow's fate all right i'm going to save
i'll say i'm going to save this for monday because this kind of goes with um with the verse 30
and uh because it says he shutteth his eyes to devise it's talking about the violent man
so i'm going to save this to to uh monday's lesson and and then tomorrow's
Tomorrow's Faith Friday, and we invite you to be here for Holy Communion.
We're going to eat the bread of life, okay?
Yes, and for those of you who will be joining us tomorrow, make preparations with bread
and either red wine or grape juice, and who may participate?
Well, if you're a confessing believer in Jesus Christ, and you've been baptized in water
according to scripture in the name of the Father, Son, the Holy Spirit, and we invite you to
participate in the Lord's Supper. We do this every Friday. And it's one of the great blessings
that we get to have as pastors of an online church is to be able to share the bread of life globally
and what an honor it is. And we invite you to participate with us tomorrow. And so also a reminder
over my shoulder here, you see Rick's book Megafire. And I want to encourage you if you haven't
done so already to get your copy of Megafire. Very easy to get.
Just go to Megafire, all one word, dot world, that's M-E-A-F-I-R-E-E-O-R-D-W-R-D-W-D,
and order your copy, either just the regular paperback or signed edition by Rick,
and all the details are on the website by how you can get yours.
Rick, any other thoughts before we close out for this Thursday edition?
Yeah, I'm looking at the comments.
Gerald said, never heard a message like this before.
Well, Gerald, I've never taught a message like this before.
We're learning together.
Let's see, somebody asked here,
oh, Dana, does this apply to news reporters
and investigative type stuff?
Very good question.
What's the motive in the investigative report?
Right.
Is it just for the, is it politically,
motivated to destroy someone or is it meant for protecting someone? For instance, if you
knew someone was abusing children, you wouldn't keep your mouth shut about it, right? So are
you able to find the evidence of that? But if it was coming for a motivation just to destroy
somebody, it focuses more on the false stuff than anything else, I think, or the accusations
of the maybes. But it could also apply to some of the practical things, too, but it could also apply to some
the practical things too once again it comes back to the thoughts and intents of the heart would
you agree with that rick yes all right leslie i won't forget to smile was i not smiling in the
lesson i don't know i'm not looking at myself i have no idea hey john mark's here oh john mark
i could see you um let's just said i don't know if you know but you were a fun funny
guy I don't know looks like okay well listen John Mark is doing an awesome job for us in
India right now we are going to launch a new platform God willing we're
working to meet a very tight deadline and
Yeah, we're under a lot of pressure.
And that's why he went to India because we hired some developers in India to build the platform for us.
We're going to own the platform.
We're not going to be at anybody else's mercy.
We're going to own this platform.
And anyhow, he's there supervising it, but we're under a really tight deadline.
So in the next couple days a week or so, probably after Thanksgiving, I'm going to tell you
it okay so just pray for john mark that god's grace will be upon him because um the time zone
difference is really making it difficult for me to communicate with him because uh i'm going to
bed when he's getting up okay and vice versa and so um it's it's been challenging for him to talk
to me about what they're doing and for me to to relay to him what i'm
I would like done.
And the only thing I've come up with, Doc, is,
oh, God, please, just take charge of this and you do it.
You know, I just direct John Mark and you tell him what you desire to be done.
Okay?
I can stay out of it.
You just direct him.
And let's get this thing done.
Okay, that's it.
Thank you, everybody.
We'll see you tomorrow for Faith Friday.
God bless you.
We'll love you. We'll see you then.
