TRUNEWS with Rick Wiles - Morning Manna - September 30, 2025 - Proverbs 13:6-10 - Guarded by Righteousness, Humbled by Wisdom
Episode Date: September 30, 2025In today’s Morning Manna, we walk through Proverbs 13:6–10, where Solomon contrasts the preserving power of righteousness with the ruin of sin. We see how true wealth is not measured in possession...s but in spiritual riches, how riches can bring both ransom and risk, and how the light of the righteous shines while the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out. Finally, Solomon reminds us that pride breeds contention, but humility seeks counsel and finds wisdom. These verses call us to live guarded by righteousness, content with God’s provision, and humble enough to receive guidance.Teachers: Rick Wiles and Doc BurkhartYou can partner with us by visiting FaithandValues.com, calling 1-800-576-2116, or by mail at PO Box 399 Vero Beach, FL 32961.MEGA FIRE reveals the ancient recurring cycles of war and economic collapse that have shaped history for 600 years. Good morning, everybody. Welcome to Morning Manna. It's Tuesday. We're delighted to have you with us as we study the Word of God. We are in the 13th chapter of the book of Proverbs. And we began the 13th chapter yesterday. We looked at verses 1 through 5 yesterday. Today it will be 6 through 10. We try to do about 5 verses per day. Sometimes we only get to 1 or 2, but our goal is 5 verses per day.
We're going to pray and ask the Lord for his presence, his blessing, and then Doc's going to read the word, and then we're going to begin our lesson.
Almighty God, Father, we thank you for this day.
we praise you we worship you we glorify you father we invite the holy spirit to lead this bible study
and teach all of us the richness and the depth of your word that we would be stronger greater
disciples for the glory of jesus in his name jesus christ we pray amen all right well welcome
everyone to morning manna glad to have you here with us and of course we've got folks checking in from all
over the world from as far as russia Malaysia Singapore south korea philippines australia today
germany ireland today so glad to have you and of course all across the u.s and canada welcome
to morning manna we are always privileged to have hundreds of you joining us each and every morning here
weekdays as we study the word of god together we continue in proverbs chapter 13 today we'll be folks
on verses 6 through 10. So if you've got your Bibles, read along with me, if you will,
and I always encourage you to read out loud. It's always good to read the Word of God out loud.
There's nothing magical about it, nothing that happens, but your mind hears it better.
Your mind creates pathways as you read it out loud because you're getting your lips involved in this too.
So Proverbs chapter 13, verses 6 through 10, let's read together,
righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way but wickedness overthroth the sinner there is that maketh himself rich yet hath nothing
there is that maketh himself poor yet hath great riches the ransom of a man's life for his riches but the poor heareth not rebuke
the light of the righteous rejoiceth but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out in verse
10, only by pride cometh contention, but with the well advised is wisdom.
A lot to unpack in this passage today, Rick.
Yes.
And, Doc, your comment about reading the word aloud, there's a very important reason for
doing it, and that is, when you read something aloud, it forces you to say, to pronounce
each word and what happens so often with us is that we become so casual about reading the Bible
that we gloss over we just we just read over something and then years later that a word or
a phrase pops up and we go when did they put that in the Bible has that always been there
Yeah. And Rick, we learned yesterday that words are valuable.
They're very valuable. In fact, I know a man, and Doc, you know who it is also.
He told me many years ago that it was his practice to verbally read every contract he was going to sign.
yes I'm like are you serious you know how boring contracts are he said he would he said by reading contracts aloud it prevented him from signing things that would later entrap him and that he would overlook if he just if he just you know silently read the contract but by reading it aloud it forced him to say each
word in the contract. So anyhow, it's a good point in the Word of God, if you can read it
aloud. Sometimes we're not in the setting that you can read aloud, but it does help.
So let's look at verses 6 through 10. Verse 6, King James, righteousness keepeth him that is
upright in the way, but wickedness overthroth the sinner. The Aramaic Peshita, righteousness
preserves the upright in the way, but wickedness overthrows the sinner.
Hey, they got it right.
Septuagint, righteousness preserves the innocent, but sin makes the ungodly worthless.
Well, Doc, I'm going to go with the Septuagint.
Yeah, I want that.
So, righteousness, what is righteousness?
it's up standing upright with God it's it's being in in the right position with God you you have
brought your life into alignment your thoughts your your heart your mouth your hands your feet
are all in alignment with God with his law his ways his commandments his word his integrity
and so it says
righteousness being in alignment with God
keeps
it keepeth him that is upright
it guards him that is upright
the keep means to guard
it's a protective shield
your righteousness
becomes your shield
and it preserves you from danger and it guide you safely along the path of life.
See, these things that we're told are important.
When we really delve deeply into it, we start finding, oh, that's why, that's why we are to be righteous.
righteousness is a shield
righteousness is not just a state of being a state of mind
it's also in a shield it protects you it's it's like you're encased in a bubble
a bulletproof bubble a bubble that satan's arrows cannot penetrate
so the upright walk securely
And their righteousness delivers them from snares and traps and temptations and reproach.
Their righteousness preserves their peace of conscience.
It preserves their favor with God.
It stabilizes their life.
And for disciples, obedience is not.
a burden.
Amen.
They see it as a safeguard.
It's the smartest thing you can do for yourself to be obedient.
But sin has a destructive nature.
It is it it it overthrows the sinner.
It actually see right.
righteousness is a shield that protects the upright, but sin overthrows the sinner.
The sin is like ropes, wires, trip wires that bring the center down.
So sin's not passive.
It drags its victims down.
It actively works to bring down the sinner.
So the sinner is not destroyed by accident,
but by the very way, the very evil that he serves.
So faith warns the disciples of Christ
that compromise with sin always ends in
pain. Always ends in loss. Let's see what the commentators had to say about it.
I'm going to scroll down to Alexander McLaren.
Righteousness is not only reward but protection.
Sin is not only punishment but destruction.
The one builds up life, the other pulls it down.
Scottish Free Church of Scotland Leader William are not.
Righteousness is a wall of defense around the upright,
wickedness is a fire within the sinner's bosom,
which consumes him.
Reform Baptist Charles Spurgeon,
holiness is its own protection and sin is its own
ruin wickedness digs the grave of the sinner while righteousness builds a fortress for the saint
amen boy that's a strong image to keep in your mind isn't it fortress a fortress or grave
verse seven king james there is that make it himself rich yet hath nothing
There is that maketh himself poor, yet have great riches.
The Aramaic Pashita, there are those who pretend to be rich yet have nothing,
and there are those who humble themselves as poor, yet have great riches.
Septuagint, there are some who, having nothing, enrich themselves,
and some, though having much impoverished,
impoverished themselves you know some people make a show of wealth but they're truly poor
they're poor in resources and character in soul there's I've heard a saying that
you know what's the difference you know so what's the difference between rich people and wealthy people
rich people shout about their wealth
rich people shout about their riches and wealthy people whisper about their wealth
that's how you know whether they're rich or wealthy
somebody thought me that doc somebody here on the treasure coast said rick let me tell you the
difference between the rich and the wealthy here in south florida he said i've been around a lot of
of the rich and they they like to make a show of their riches they they desire everybody know that
the rich but he said the wealthy they don't want you to know you got to find it out on your
own they're the ones driving around an old beat-up pickup trucks yeah and they're wealthy
so some people value appearances their appearances their appearances
everything to them. Their image. And we are in an image
worshiping society today.
Everything's about image. Your social media
image. Everything is built around. What's your image?
Why? Because they're seeking honor from
men and women.
Instead of just being real, just being who they are.
So, richest without righteousness leaves a man or woman empty.
So wealth without God is poverty.
Yes.
And it's one of the warnings to the church in Laidescia.
Because thou sayest, I am rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing,
and knowest not that thou art wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.
Wow.
So a person can appear rich in worldly wisdom and status and success,
but be utterly bankrupt in the eyes of God.
But on the other hand, others appear poor, they're modest, they're humble, they're
unpretentious, and yet they are truly rich.
so spiritual wealth often hides beneath outward poverty
and I
for those of you who miss the pre
classroom chatter that we have
if you're not a if you're not a member of the live class
okay sometimes doc and I chat
5, 10, 15, 20.
Today is 20 minutes before we started the class.
And I was sharing some things that's on my heart right now.
But I'm telling you right now, we're going into a prolonged season
where if you appear to be successful,
you are going to be in danger.
you're going to just take my word for it you're going to
you're going to um you're going to wish that you were
less visible
and I'll let the Lord deal with you on that okay
driving around I mean hey you know everybody wants to really
nice car everybody wants every hey guess what in a year or two it's going to make you a target
think about it just think about it um second corinthians chapter 8 verse 9 says though he was rich
that's talking about jesus yet for your sakes he became poor yet ye through his poverty
might be made rich.
Look at the commentators.
Charles Bridges.
The world judges by outward appearance.
Many make a show of wealth, yet are beggars before God.
Others appear poor, yet are rich in faith, heirs of a kingdom.
Here is the contrast between hypocrisy and humility.
Albert Barnes
The proverb teaches the difference between show and reality
Pretended wealth ends in nothing
True riches may exist under outward poverty
Alexander McLaren
The paradox runs through life
A man may be rich in money and poor in soul
Or poor in possessions and rich toward God
The one struts in a fool's
paradise. The other walks in heaven's treasure house. McLearn. I love that man. I can't. I'm
eager to meet him. And Doc is eager to meet William Arnaut. Yes. So Doc, I'm going to be
are not said here is a double deceit seeming riches that are emptiness and seeming poverty that is wealth
the only safe riches are those that death cannot touch the poor and spirit are truly rich
and then reformed baptist charles spurgeon of london said many a man is rich in his own conceit but in
God's sight bankrupt.
Others are poor in their own self-esteem,
yet are rich beyond measure in grace.
Judge not by appearances,
for the Lord seeth not as man seeth.
Verse eight,
the ransom of a man's life are his riches,
but the poor heareth not rebuke.
Now wait a minute.
We just were talking about riches
and being rich and being poor.
And yet, now we're talking about a ransom of riches here.
What gives?
Let's see what the Septuagin says.
The ransom of a man's life is the wealth of his riches.
But the poor endures not threatening.
This is the one you've got to think through.
Okay, Solomon, what were you getting at when you wrote this one?
I try to picture what Solomon, you know, as he's dictating to his scribes.
You know, he didn't write it out.
He's dictating.
And there's some very practical wisdom in this verse, folks.
So pay attention.
I can see Solomon pacing back and forth in the palace.
Thinking, pausing.
Wait a minute, wait a minute.
This is what I desire to say.
This is something that I've observed.
Write this down, scribe.
Write this down.
The ransom of a man's life is the wealth of his riches,
but the poor endures not threatening.
I can see the scribe looking up saying,
wait a man, majesty, what does that mean?
A rich man or woman can,
can become a ransom yes not the person the richest of the rich man or woman okay the wealth of a rich man or woman
can become a ransom when threatened extort it in danger he may use his wealth to buy safety
right in other words your riches make you a target why do you think so many wealthy famous
people have executive protective services guarding them as a big business
executive protections agents bodyguards for the wealthy
The irony is the more wealth you have, the more protection you need.
Here's, here's Rick's, you know, homie interpretation of this proverb.
Nobody kidnaps a poor person.
I got it.
Nobody extorts a poor person.
Nobody extorts a poor person.
man or woman. Hey, give me all your poverty. This is a stick up. Give me all your poverty.
I'm going to kidnap you and wait until your broke, poor, poverty-stricken friends and
come up with a ransom. Who's going to do that? Wealth attracts attention. Now, this goes back
what I just said a few minutes ago.
Wealth attracts attention.
It attracts danger.
The rich man and woman becomes a target.
I'm telling you, folks,
I believe the Holy Spirit's been telling me
in recent months, we're going into a season
when you do not,
should not look
very successful
if you
desire to show off
everything you've got
you better have the resources
to fight off
the intruders
you know
when when the power goes out
and only one house
has lights on
which one is attractive
attention the one that has a generator when food is
when food is scarce but the hungry neighbors can smell barbecue in the air coming
from a particular house guess who is this who's attracting attention okay we're
going into a very severe financial storm it's coming and it may be I'm just
speculating it may be the reason President Trump is having a meeting with all
the generals and admirals today at first thought I was thinking oh this is
planning for war it might be planning for holding together the country civil war
Civil War.
So the message in this proverb is that your richest can provide temporary defense.
You can buy your way out of danger.
You can pay off a kidnapper.
You can pay off an intruder.
You can pay off an extortionist.
You can pay off a blackmailer.
But you cannot pay off God.
you don't have enough of anything to pay God the ransom for your sin
Jesus paid the ransom and he paid with his life with his blood
Do you remember years ago when we were on
direct TV for two hours every morning
do you remember I said that Jesus paid your ransom
and I remember we got this angry email from this woman
And she said, I have never in my life heard such a crazy doctrine in my life.
I remember, yes.
You just never read the word of God.
Yeah.
Psalm 49, verse 7 and 8 says,
none of them can by any means redeem his brother nor give to God or ransom for him.
For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it's ceithous.
ceaseth forever and then Matthew 20 verse 28 even this is Jesus speaking even as the son of man came not
to be ministered unto but to minister and to give his life a ransom for many
Chapter 2, verse 6, Paul said about Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all.
A rich man or woman can pay a kidnapper, a ransom, if their spouse, their child, their grandchild is kidnapped.
But a rich man or woman cannot pay the ransom to God for somebody's soul.
Satan is the kidnapper of souls
and you can't get your soul
or the soul of anybody else out of hell
out of Satan's grip with your own resources
only the blood of Christ
the life of Christ on the cross is the only thing
that can pay that ransom
but on earth
money will
pay ransoms yeah but what about the poor man the poor heareth not rebuke meaning the poor
doesn't hear threats nobody's is there's a city park to my right outside the building
there's a lot of homeless people there nobody's kidnapping them
not one of them are in danger of being kidnapped today
nobody's
nobody's going to hold them up
nobody's going to stick a gun in their
in their ribs and say give me everything you got
all they're going to have is a crack pipe
yeah and a shopping cart cart
cart a shopping cart that's empty
where they're full old clothes
the poor man or woman is not the target of extortion because he has little to lose
so in this case poverty protects the poor man or woman from the dangers that the wealthy
must endure it's the poverty becomes the poor person shield
it doesn't say you should be poor you should be poverty stricken it just says there are some benefits to it
right you know there is an upside to being poor that's really what solomon will say hey you know what
i've observed i wouldn't want to be poor i wouldn't want to be poverty stricken but there are some
benefits to it I've looked out my palace windows and I've never seen anybody robbing a poor person
I've never seen anybody kidnapping a poor woman so that's the upside to it but Solomon's like but
I do know I've got rich friends who've been robbed have been extorted and blackmailed and
kidnapped we am are not
said here is a strange paradox riches in danger a man's life and poverty secures it the ransom of the rich is
demanded the poor man passes unchallenged so if robbers are hiding along a road and there are
two people coming one is rich and one is poor which one are they going after they're going to jump
on the rich one and let the poor one pass by the poor man passes unchallenged charles spurgeon said
how often have men bought their lives with their wealth when plunderers salt their spoil
but the poor man being without wealth escapes their notice riches make us targets
Poverty often leaves us free.
I'm telling you, folks, there's a financial storm coming,
and you're going to wish you had Freddie the Freeloader's wardrobe.
Some of you will know who I'm talking about.
It's coming.
So use wisdom in displaying wealth of any kind.
yes especially during especially during a great depression yeah you know the last great
depression in the 30s we were still a moral Christian nation and our morality
held the country together and people shared with one another we don't have that
protection now they'll kill you they'll kill you as easy as look
at you yeah i'm not going to quote him but several years ago alex jones said when
there comes a day that there's no food i will eat you yeah and he was serious he said i will eat
you and he was telling all of his supporters if we have to we will eat our neighbors
that's demon-possessed thinking that's demon-possessed
first nine
the light of the righteous rejoiceth
but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out
the Septuagin says the light of the righteous is everlasting
but the lamp of the wicked is put out very close
so the light of the righteous what is the light is there the energy the light the joy that emanates from a righteous
person's life their wisdom their joy their happiness the morality their prosperity all of it
it's emanating from your life the the light of the right of the right of the right
righteous rejoices.
Septuagin says the light of the righteous is everlasting.
It never goes out.
So when you, when you, when your body dies, your light is not extinguished, you just slip
into another coat.
You just drop off this old coat and put on a new one that you're still dancing.
You're still singing.
You're still joyful.
in fact you're even more joyful
because now you don't have to overcome all the problems
you can just be joyful
they rejoice
they shine
they shine with gladness
look at the faces of people who confess to be Christians
are they shining
yes
or are they depressed?
Are they downtrodden?
They need to get out of that mentality.
You can't be in the presence of Christ and be depressed.
If you are a confessing Christian and you are depressed and sad and heavy burden every day,
it means you are not in the present.
of Christ
you're in the presence of your misery
you got it
all right
and Jesus isn't there with you
right
the mark of a believer is joy
so the righteous live in the light
of God's favor
which results in joy
there you go
And your light not only exists, but it flourishes.
It rejoices.
Your light rejoices.
See, it's not you.
It's your light that's rejoicing.
Why?
Because the disciples of Christ are the light of the world.
What about the wicked?
Now, this doesn't say the light of the wicked.
It says the lamp.
it's interesting the light of the righteous is everlasting but the lamp of a wicked is put out
they don't have any light they have a lamp yeah it's artificial that's the difference
like oh it's good a fire bug a fire bug a lightning bug it just lights up doesn't it right a
lightning bug doesn't need a lamp lightning bugs fireflies don't have flashlights they just go
hmm i'm going to light up they just start thinking happiness thoughts i mean fireflies got to be
happy i think i think they ever the happier they get the brighter they shine okay their light is natural
but a lamp is man-made it's artificial
hadn't considered that in this verse
the wicked
have temporary prosperity
but their light is unstable
because their light is from this world
and their lamp
their artificial light generating device
will be put out it will become extinct they will go into eternal darkness they have
brief temporary light and happiness and joy in this world by being wicked but their
hope is extinguished
Mark, look at Job 18, verses 5 and 6.
Yes, I have it right there.
All right, good, all right.
Because this is almost a direct quote, not quite, but almost a direct quote.
So it says Job 18 versus 5 and 6, yay.
And this is Bill Dad, the shoe height, talking to Job.
yea the light of the wicked shall be put out and the spark of his fire shall not shine
the light shall be dark in his tabernacle and his candle shall be put out with it
Solomon and Job were tracking together weren't they
well but Job didn't say this Bill Dad the shoe height now Bill Dad the book of
He was accusing Job of being wicked.
That's why he was being punished.
Yes.
Job responds in chapter 19.
I know because I've been studying Job here over the past few months.
And Job responds, you know, you're wrong.
I'm not wicked.
I have a light.
He goes on in verse 9 and chapter 19 and says, I have the light.
My light shall not be extinguished.
Yes.
So.
But the principle is,
the light of the wicked shall be extinguished right so there's truth there's the truth in it but the
job was not wicked and so that part was not true right so adam clark said the light of the
righteous is the favor and blessing of god upon them the lamp of the wicked his pomp and prosperity
shall soon be extinguished charles bridges said the light of the righteous is the joy of their hearts
shining more and more unto the perfect day.
But the wicked's lamp, though bright for a while, shall surely be quenched.
Alexander McLaren, the righteous have an inward and perpetual light
because they walk with God.
The wicked blaze for an hour, then sink into darkness.
Charles Spurgeon, the lamp of the wicked is a poor thing.
It glimmers and goes out, but the light of the righteous is,
God lit and never dies.
Better the faintest
spark from heaven than the
brightest blaze of wicked
wealth.
And verse
10.
Only by pride
come with contention.
But with the well-advised
is wisdom.
The
Aramaic Pashita says
arrogance causes strife
but with the
well-advised his wisdom.
The Septuagin says a bad man stirs up strife,
but he that reproves boldly is a peacemaker.
This is where the Bible is telling us
that the heart, the root of arguments and strife and contention
is pride.
Anybody who has a contentious argumentative spirit
is full of pride.
There are just some people.
If you said the sky is blue, they hear, no, it's not as gray.
If you said, oh, it's hot today.
No, it's not.
It's cold.
They just argue.
It doesn't matter what it's about.
They're just contentious and argumentative.
It's because they're full pride.
They may not look proud.
But there's a, there's a,
hidden pride that rules on the throne of their heart christ is not on the throne in their heart
pride is there they can confess jesus but he's not on the throne
therefore he's not their king there's no such thing as a proud disciple
there's no such thing as an argumentative contentious disciple of christ
Yes.
Pride resists correction.
It insists on its own way.
It breeds quarrels and fights and arguments at home, at work, in church, anywhere in society, on social media.
Man, there are people on social media.
They live to stir up strife and argument.
I don't read the emails anymore.
I stopped that a long time ago.
People that were right to me just to argue, just to fight.
Never to say a positive word.
There's one man, I don't know if he's still alive.
I'll have to ask Susan, when's the last time you've seen an email from him?
Doc, he goes all the way back 25 years.
and almost every day
I am not exaggerating
almost every day
he sends a hateful email to me
telling me how wrong I am
for 25 years
I once proposed
to Rick that we should do a podcast
called Dear Rick you're wrong
but why gives them that
Attention.
Why do you get with that attention?
Yeah.
See, contention and strife and arguments arise when a person's pride refuses to yield, to listen,
to consider another viewpoint to be corrected.
It just immediately burst into confrontation.
And keep in mind that there are times where.
where it's necessary to correct somebody else.
But it's another thing to be argumentative in it.
Right.
You know, you're, it comes, and you're right,
it comes from a place of pride.
I'm right and you're wrong.
I have more information than you do.
And therefore, there's no way I could be wrong.
You have to be totally wrong.
like it goes beyond them saying I have more information at the root of it is I'm smarter than you I'm better than you and you are nothing you are nothing and your viewpoint doesn't matter all right I'm give you an example a couple months ago French President McCrone made a state
regarding Palestine and Mr. Trump said his opinion doesn't matter.
Okay.
That's an improper way for a world leader to speak to another leader.
Mr. Trump just said it doesn't matter because his opinion doesn't matter.
That's pride.
I'm not trying to get political here, but I'm telling you this is what it looks like.
At the heart of it is this, at the heart of this pride is an attitude, you are not equal to me.
Therefore, your opinion does not count.
It's pride.
It's arrogance.
And it's in homes.
It's in churches.
It's in schools and workplaces.
It's in politics.
It's in the media.
It's everywhere.
Anywhere where there are people, it shows up.
Because you have wise people and you have,
you have arrogant people.
You have proud and you have humble.
But what about, but with the well advised is wisdom.
Notice it doesn't say with the,
wise is wisdom it says with the well advised
wisdom wisdom is with people who accept advice
wisdom is with people who listen to counsel receive correction
get offended and angry if somebody says, can I share something with you that I think that will
help you? The proud person says, no, I don't need to hear that. Keep your opinion to yourself.
But a wise man or woman will say, yes, please, please talk to me. Humility makes a person teachable.
Pride makes a person unteachable. How do you know if somebody's
proud they're unteachable listening to others brings peace and tranquility and harmony
and eventually wisdom they're well advised what does that mean to be well advised
they surround themselves with godly men and women who give them good advice
and they're willing to learn and they're slow to quarrel they're
well-advised.
What do you think about Solomon?
He was the wisest man who ever lived.
But, Doc, you know he was surrounded by advisors.
Yes.
In the multitude of counselors, there is strength.
That's right.
So why would he have a multitude of counselors if he was the
wisest person who lived he's better than anybody in the room well the reason he was better than
anybody in the room first of all is because god made him that way but because he accepted the advice
of others he listened to the advice of others it increased his wisdom it didn't decrease it
it increased his wisdom listening to others actually increases your wisdom right
Matthew Henry said pride is at the bottom of all contention those who are proud will have their will and if it be not yielded to they are angry but wisdom teaches men to yield to reason and to be patient
Charles Bridges said pride is the fountain head of strife for it contends with God and man the humble who are teachable and take counsel have wisdom and peace John Calvin said
pride is the mother of contention for the proud man refuses advice and will not yield but wisdom is with
those who are ready to be taught and to seek counsel john wesley said by pride when men are proud
they will not bear to be contradicted and hence come hence come contentions the humble receive advice
and grow wise.
Charles Spurgeon, pride is ever quarrelsome, humility is ever peaceable.
The proud cannot learn, for they think they know, the humble are wise, for they are willing
to be taught.
What did we learn here, verses 6 through 10?
righteousness guards and preserves the upright wickedness overthrows and destroys the center
yes and that true wealth is not measured in possessions but in spiritual riches
the righteous appear poor yet are rich in faith and grace and eternal treasures
the wicked appear rich and are spiritually bankrupt
he shields from danger he hears no threats of extortion or kidnapping for the wicked their
riches become their ransom and wealth brings danger and threats we learned that light rejoices
it's steady it's enduring is under god's favor but the wicket's lamp is extinguished flickering
temporary ending it ends in darkness the light is
the righteous never is extinguished but the lamp of the wicked ends up in darkness and then we learned in
verse 10 that humility and teachability bring wisdom and peace and the pride breeds contention and strife
because it rejects godly counsel that's our lesson for today amen a great lesson that it is too
and so and now you go teach somebody else this lesson today amen
take this lesson and teach someone else's lesson today so I want to remind
everyone Megafire Rick's latest book is available right now if you haven't gotten it
yet go to megafire.world megafire.world or just any search whatever you use
whether it's AI or search engine just type in Megafire Rick Wiles it'll come
right up okay Rick and I had discussion yesterday afternoon do people actually
go to websites anymore. And so I tried it last night. You just type in Megafire, Rick Wiles,
it goes right to the book page. And so get the book. That's the important part here. What is this
book? Rick outlines America's the next fourth turning crisis. Folks, it's not something that's
going to happen. We're in the middle of it right now. We're in the fourth turning crisis right
now. Things are just beginning to ramp up economically, militarily, geophysical events that are likely
to occur, you know, weather events, asteroids. This book covers it all. And so, and I like to say
it's not a prophecy book in the sense of, you know, all that you can, all the Christian prophecy books
are dime a dozen. This is not a Christian prophecy book. What it is.
is a trends book and for those of you have followed cycles and trends over the years
this comes from a Christian perspective to help give you an outline on how to make plans
not just five or 10 years out but right now I'm using this book to make decisions today
not five or 10 years from now but today and I encourage you to do this say same
Megafire by Rick Wiles. Get your copy today.
