Ukraine's marshal law president, Zelensky, will be at the White House tomorrow for a meeting with President Trump. There is no assurance that he will sign an agreement giving the United States access to his country's vast, rare-earth mineral wealth. This is true news for Thursday, February 27, 2025. Let's begin our analysis and commentary of today's top news with this article published by the Moscow Times. Kremlin says it's waiting for official confirmation of U.S.-Ukraine minerals deal. So Doc, there really isn't a deal yet.
Starting point is 00:01:37 Not yet. And supposedly Mr. Zelensky is on his way to D.C. now. I know, but I told you yesterday. I'm not convinced he's going to sign it. I think he's... I'm not either. He's been after a meeting at the White House ever since the election, the US election. And this is his opportunity to get back in front of cameras.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Yes. He's been sidelined. And he's lost his magic. The reporters aren't running to him anymore. So he knows all the reporters in the world are going to be at the White House tomorrow. And I would not put it past him to throw a little hissy fit tomorrow at the White House. We'll see, but I'm not convinced. According to this Russian news article, the Kremlin said it's still waiting for official confirmation that the United States and Ukraine had agreed on the terms of a landmark mineral
Starting point is 00:02:38 deal. Donald Trump has demanded, because of the billions of dollars, a senior Ukrainian official told the French press agency AFP that Kiev had agreed on the framework of a deal and that President Zelensky would sign it as soon as Friday. But Doc, that's not the official document. That's going to be Mr. Zelensky's argument. I only agreed to what we're going to talk about. Right. I agreed to the agenda, if you will.
Starting point is 00:03:14 That's really what I think he's going to say. Well, so far there are no official statements on the matter. We have only heard that Mr. Zelensky seemed to be going to Washington on Friday. That's coming from Dmitry Peskov in the Kremlin. There will probably be attempts to make this visit somewhat substantive, he added. President Zelensky later on Wednesday said he hopes to visit Washington this week to visit with President Trump. It said this is a start. This is coming from Mr. Zelensky. There it is a start. This is coming from mr. Zelensky. There it is right there. This is a framework agreement
Starting point is 00:03:48 This deal could be a great success or simply disappear whether it's a big success I think depends on our conversation with President Trump will draw conclusions after so nothing's set leave it up there okay, so doc if you were going to a real estate closing and the seller said, well our meeting tomorrow is a start, it's a framework agreement. No, that's what we call the closing. Okay, so we close it. So Donald Trump believes it's a real estate closing tomorrow. He's a real estate man. Right. He's expecting a closing tomorrow. What Mr. Zelensky is saying, no, this is the opening of negotiations.
Starting point is 00:04:35 I have a feeling there's going to be fireworks tomorrow. I really do. President Trump said, we're getting our money back in Ukraine. Here he is. The Biden has spent $350 billion without any chance of getting it back. Now we're going to be getting all of that money back plus a lot more. And we provided a great thing. I mean, we provided something very important. And we'll be working with Ukraine, and because we'll be taking that, we're going to be taking what we're entitled to take. Now, they spent $350 billion,
Starting point is 00:05:12 and Europe spent $100 billion. Now, does anybody really think that's fair? But then we find out, a little while ago, not so long ago, a few months ago, I found out that the money they spent, they get back. But the money we spent, we don't get back. I said, well, we're going to get it back.
Starting point is 00:05:33 And we'll be able to make a deal. And again, President Zelensky is coming to sign the deal. And it's a great thing. It's a great deal for Ukraine, too, because they get us over there, and we're going to be working over there. We'll be on the land. And, you know, in that way, it's this sort of automatic security, because nobody's going to be messing around with our people when we're there.
Starting point is 00:05:50 And so we'll be there in that way. But Europe will be watching it very closely. I know that UK has said and France has said that they want to put, they volunteered to put so-called peacekeepers on the site. And I think that's a good thing. So, Doc, whether it was earlier this week or late last week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said to a reporter, Mr. Zelensky made statements that simply weren't true, talking about a meeting that Secretary Rubio was in with President Zelensky. Our Secretary of State said,
Starting point is 00:06:28 what he said is not what happened in that meeting. I was in that meeting. I think Mr. Zelensky is going to do the same thing to Mr. Trump. They are expecting him to come tomorrow and sign the agreement. They are expecting him to come tomorrow and sign the agreement. Listen, I want to go back to that last paragraph of the article that we had. He said, this is a start. This is a framework agreement. This deal could be a great success or simply disappear. Whether it's a big success, I think, depends on what? Our conversation
Starting point is 00:07:08 with President Trump. We'll draw conclusions after. No, actually, Mr. Zelensky, you signed a first agreement already. You signed, if you will, the purchase agreement. You signed it already. When? This should be the clue. When did he sign it? When Besint and Witkoff was there. So they already agreed to the framework. So he's making this sound like tomorrow's meeting is the agreement on framework. Yeah, but here Ria Novosti has it this way. Look at this. It says, Zelensky will not sign a second agreement with the U.S. without expanded guarantees. So tomorrow's meeting is the second agreement? Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:50 It's supposed to be the closing. It's supposed to be the deal. So the Russian news agency, Novasti, saying Zelensky will not sign an economic agreement with the United States, which should follow the framework deal on rare earth minerals. If it does not include security guarantees, said The Economist magazine with reference to a source. The Economist said, Zelensky does not intend to sign any second more complete agreement that does not include broader security guarantees. So what are the security guarantees?
Starting point is 00:08:26 He's demanding that President Trump put in writing that the United States of America will defend Ukraine against Russia and go to war against Russia if Ukraine says, hey, they looked at us the wrong way. Right. But President Trump has said repeatedly over this past week, there are no security areas. Then he's not going to sign it tomorrow. I wish I were here tomorrow. We're going to be on the plane tomorrow. We will have a program.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Gerald Zelintsy will be here tomorrow. Hey, you know, when it's all said and done, I wouldn't be surprised tomorrow if they arrest Zel arrest Zelensky and take him into custody. I know. Don't you think President Trump has already said to Cash Patel and to Tulsi Gabbard, who's our CIA director, John Ratcliffe? John Ratcliffe. John Ratcliffe is. Do we have evidence of Zelensky stealing money?
Starting point is 00:09:32 And if they said, sure, there's plenty of evidence. OK, if he acts up. We're going to arrest him on live TV. Cuff him and stuff him. I wouldn't be shocked by that at this point in the game. Oh, it's a market be a wild day. It really could. And so, but this is not the, and even this agreement is not the final future treaty that has to be signed with Russia. This is only the agreement with Ukraine. So this says the future treaty, unlike the framework one, will require ratification by
Starting point is 00:10:10 the parliament. The day before, White House Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt, said the United States administration, expects to sign a deal with Ukraine this week. Solinsky called the agreement a framework. According to him, an agreement on the creation of an investment fund will follow. As the economist explains, the agreement on rare earth metals does not clearly spell out the conditions for the disposal of Ukraine's resources that they should be specified in another document.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Right. And we reported that yesterday from the economists as well. And so- Oh, Mr. Zelensky, if he thinks he's going to win a showdown with Donald Trump, that guy is a fool. That's not going to go well. You know, my thought on Zelensky being arrested tomorrow solves a whole lot of problems. It takes Zelensky out of the equation completely. It satisfies Russia.
Starting point is 00:11:11 They've got to get a new president, have an election. They have to have an election, elect a new president. I mean, it's not beyond the realm of possibility. And if the CIA director or national intelligence director says, look, there's plenty of evidence, the Biden administration knew he was stealing. Right. They knew it. They didn't do anything about it. All right. President Trump had him arrested. But we're still going to go ahead and end this war. But Zelensky's going, he's going to be in a federal pen. Hey, would it shock you now? It wouldn't shock me. No, nothing shocks me now with President Trump in the White House. So, Emmanuel Macron was
Starting point is 00:11:57 in the White House several days ago doing his arm wrestling. And today it was British Prime Minister Kerr Stammer who arrived and didn't do arm wrestling. Well, but he was very touchy feely with the president and the Oval Office. And so I was able to watch just a little bit of it, but not able to capture video in the Oval Office. But just when I was watching it live, it was he was putting his hand on the soldier, and on his arm, and on his leg. And things that would make me extremely uncomfortable is somebody's, if I'm in a business meeting,
Starting point is 00:12:36 somebody's reaching over and touching my arm, and touching my shoulder, and touching my leg. Don't touch my leg. Things like that. Somebody sent out a script and said, don't touch my leg. Things like that, it's just, somebody sent out a script and said, you need to do this, you need to invade Donald Trump's base. Starmer was doing the same thing, but putting that aside. Starmer doesn't look intimidating.
Starting point is 00:12:58 No, he doesn't, it doesn't sound intimidating. No, not at all. London Times has a story. Now this was published before Mr. Starmor arrived at the White House. What would Starmor's U.S. security backstop for Ukraine involve? So the article said, you know, he's in route. Of course, he's already there now. The prime minister said these guarantees had to be sufficient to deter Putin from coming again
Starting point is 00:13:27 And that there could not be a ceasefire without a backstop He talks as though he has a role in this right He doesn't have a role in it President Trump doubt played down such guarantees, but did not rule them out. Mr. Trump said, I'm not going to make security guarantees beyond very much. Then it goes on to say, Britain and France have said, in principle, that they would be prepared to deploy peacekeeping ground forces to Ukraine. But the big fear is that these troops could themselves be vulnerable
Starting point is 00:14:05 to attack down the line from Russia. Britain and France seek U.S. air support to protect their troops. As neither nation possesses the capability to do so independently, they want to be a big dog, but they don't even have a tail. They also aim to gain real-time access to U.S. intelligence, including satellite imagery. To bolster European defenses, the deployment of Patriot surface-to-air missile systems, defenses, the deployment of Patriot surface-to-air missile systems alongside advanced intelligence and surveillance assets is being considered. Additionally, US F-35 fighter jets could conduct air policing missions. But why don't we just send the entire US military over to Ukraine?
Starting point is 00:15:00 And if I'm over in the Kremlin, I'm reading the London Times today, and I'm reading this article, and let's say I'm the president of Russia. Right. Okay, I'm President Vladimir Putin. I'm reading this, and it says they're going to drag the U.S. back into this one way or another. Exactly what they're doing. And we'll just have to go to war. But Mr. Macronrone and Mr. Stammer don't have any role in the settlement of this war. Right. It all depends on us. If we don't provide air support, what are you going to do? You're going to do nothing. You're not going to take on Russia. You're not going to fight Russia. France, you're not going to fight Russia. And then you get down here, it says, one of the problems with potential peacekeeping force in Ukraine
Starting point is 00:15:45 is that it would require tens of thousands of troops. Yes. But they don't have tens of thousands of troops. Right, so between France and the UK you don't have, so throw in some from Poland maybe, some from the baltic states that you conned into NATO now and to committing now to any sort of future force. So even then, you're struggling. How many they talk about it? It says the UK is pressing the United States to relocate some of the 100,000 US military personnel it has deployed across Europe personnel, it has deployed across Europe and to send them to Eastern Europe. So they're going to move the troops from Germany and other European countries, American troops. Yes.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Move them to Eastern Europe to be close to Ukraine. It says the British and French think that the best way of preventing another Russian invasion in the long term is effective European deterrence. They are pressing the United States not to use a ceasefire to abandon military support for Ukraine, but rather to commit to rapidly rebuilding Ukraine's military forces. They want Donald Trump to take the mineral wealth and pour it back into weapons for Ukraine. That's not going to work.
Starting point is 00:17:11 Mr. Trump wants the money here. He's not going to give them access to that money. Another London Times. This is an interesting story here. The US will urge Starmor to block a huge Chinese embassy in London. Yes. Okay, so look at the size of this embassy that China seeks to have in... And this is the proposal, and I think there might be another drawing. There it is.
Starting point is 00:17:47 That's what they want to add to it. That's all one complex as an embassy for China. How many of those offices do you think will house Chinese spies? Well, all of them. If you work for the State Department of China, you're working for the CCP. That's right. Every single office will have a Chinese spy in downtown London. It's interesting why the US is asking about this to the UK.
Starting point is 00:18:15 It says that London Times article is reading it this way, Keir Starmer will be urged to block China's plan to build a new, superssized embassy in London that you see pictured there. Beijing plans to move its diplomatic mission in the UK to the Royal Mint Court. That's that older building that you see in the lower part of the picture there, on a whole 5.5-acre complex in the city of London. In a letter to Lord Mandelson, Britain's ambassador to the US, Chris Smith, the Republican chairman of the Congressional Executive Commission on China, and John Molinare, the Republican head of the House of Representatives China Committee, attacked the plans.
Starting point is 00:18:56 It said, gifting the Chinese Communist government with the largest embassy in Europe is a counterproductive and unearned reward. Conceding the Chinese communist government such a prominent diplomatic foothold in the UK will only embolden its efforts to intimidate and harass UK citizens and dissidents and experts across Europe who oppose or criticize its policies," they added. I don't want to see China build a super embassy in London, but shouldn't this be something that London should have figured out already?
Starting point is 00:19:31 It makes you wonder why. But then think about the stories about the King's Prince Andrew. Oh yeah, and the association with the Chinese lobbyists, whatever you want to call him. China's deeply infiltrated all Western nations. Yes. Canada, the United States, Australia, all of them. Docs, I think a couple months ago, has it only been? It's only been about a month.
Starting point is 00:20:04 Wow. Things are happening so fast. I'm losing track of the time. That just seemed like this was months ago. We talked about the prime minister of a small chain of islands. Right. Mauritania. And so, yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:19 And the police raided his home, and they found millions of dollars in his safe. There's a story here that most of us in the United States don't know about. But the prime minister is giving away his country's assets and maybe a military base. That's true, yes. So Louisiana Senator John Kennedy gave a warning to President Trump about Kerr-Stammer. And his role in this deal with Mauritania. That's what caught my attention. Senator Kennedy was saying, hey, wait a minute, Prime Minister Kare Starmor of UK is involved
Starting point is 00:21:12 in this scandal in this island. And President Trump, you need to be aware. You need to bring this up. Let's listen to what Senator Kennedy had to say. Now, Prime Minister Starmor is going to meet with President Trump tomorrow to try to talk to President Trump and agree on this. The Prime Minister of the UK has already said, if President Trump is not comfortable with me giving away an American military base—I want to giggle when I say that—if President
Starting point is 00:21:44 Trump is not comfortable, I want to giggle when I say that, if President Trump's not comfortable I won't do it. And here's what the Prime Minister's going to tell President Trump tomorrow. He's going to say, number one, Mr. President, we need to do this because it's the right thing to do. The United Nations International Court of Justice, which is comprised of a bunch of weenie-wokers, has issued an advisory opinion saying that we and the United Kingdom should feel guilty
Starting point is 00:22:14 because we used to own colonies. And Prime Minister Starmus is gonna say, Mr. President, we need to give these islands away in your military base, Mr. President, because it's the right thing to do. The second thing he's going to tell Mr. President is if we don't do it, China's going to get really mad. He's going to say China's going to get really mad if we don't do this.
Starting point is 00:22:40 And the third thing he's going to tell the president is that if we don't do this, the United Nations could cut off the telecommunications for our military base. Like the United Nations is going to all of a sudden out of the blue cut off the spectrum and the telecommunications for our American military base. They have no jurisdiction to do that, and they also don't have the oranges to do that. There's one other thing I'm gonna mention. I didn't mean to go over this long,
Starting point is 00:23:12 but this is an important meeting, the President said. Remember I told you about the Prime Minister who started all this, Prime Minister Jognoth, he got beat, you'll recall me saying, in 2024. A few weeks ago, former Prime Minister Jognoth was arrested. Yep. He was arrested for money laundering. The Mauritius authorities searched his house in the home of one of his closest
Starting point is 00:23:56 associates. And you know what they found? They found $25 million in cash in various currencies. They found Rolex watches. They found Cartier watches. And they found United Kingdom visas. Hmm. Visas from Great Britain
Starting point is 00:24:31 Senator Kennedy's onto something he knows a lot more than what he just said. Yeah, but he let enough out That was yesterday He was trying to tip off the White House Be careful here where this guy's coming in from London One more from the Telegraph in London. Macron has no mandate to send European troops to Ukraine, says Italy's Prime Minister, Malani. That's right. She doesn't like him.
Starting point is 00:24:55 No. Have you ever seen the video? Yeah, I saw the video where she looks in disgust after he touches her. I know. Georgiana Malani has clashed with Emmanuel Macron over an Anglo-French plan to deploy European troops to Ukraine. The row broke out during a Wednesday emergency video between the European Union leaders to discuss the French president's talks with Donald Trump
Starting point is 00:25:26 According to sources mr. McCrone told his EU counterparts that he had raised the possibility of the bloc members states to deploying troops As part of the European reassurance force to deter Russia at that point Miss Malani Italy's is it Malani or Milani? I'll go with Milani. That's the way I would say it. Milani? So as long as we're in agreement.
Starting point is 00:25:51 Okay. Miss Milani, Italy's prime minister, interjected, accusing the French president of speaking on her behalf without a mandate. Macron Macron hit back insisting, certainly had not spoken out of turn, and said that any troop deployments would be a national decision. But he did expect everybody to just roll over on it. And go with it. But we see Italy saying, don't count us, and we're not sending troops to Ukraine. We've got no beef with Russia. You don't have any jurisdiction to commit us to sending troops. This next story, look at this headline. This is a
Starting point is 00:26:32 telegraph in London. White House official threatens to redraw Canadian border. And who is it that's suggesting that? Peter Navarro. Peter Navarro. A top White House official threatened to redraw the Canadian border amid Donald Trump's ambition, turn the country into America's 51st state. One of Donald Trump's closest advisors, Peter Navarro, is pushing US negotiators to discuss reworking the border with their Canadian counterparts. Quoted as saying in the telegraph here,
Starting point is 00:27:05 Navarro recommended revising the Canada-U.S. border, which is just crazy and dangerous, source close to the negotiation, told the London Telegraph. Canada has now instructed its delegates to withdraw from negotiations with the U.S. until Jameson Greer and Howard Lutnick, the two incoming members of Mr. Trump's cabinet,
Starting point is 00:27:25 are confirmed by the Senate. Ontario views Mr. Greer and Mr. Lutnick as less extreme. Just how far north do you think Peter Navarro would like to take the border? Hudson Bay. That's how far he'd like to take it. If we know Peter like we think we do. So do you think he has a legal claim? Have they researched something in history? When and where and how the border was drawn?
Starting point is 00:27:56 Or treaties that have been agreed to in the past? It'd be interesting to see how this plays out because this is the first time I've heard this proposed out there. But Peter Navarro, we know, is extremely intelligent. All right. So, Doc, we're dealing with a real estate man. Right. Is Mr. Chump saying, well, let's do a survey? Let's do a title survey.
Starting point is 00:28:25 It's the property line where it's supposed to be. Right. You know, every kind of real estate transaction, you've got to call up the title company and say, we need to verify that this property is here, that some Yahoo hasn't built a fence on your property. That's right. He'll do the same thing to Mexico. Yes. What is the official border with Mexico?
Starting point is 00:28:51 We're just assuming this is it. What's the official border? What's in writing? They're probably on to something. They probably know something, and they're going to make a claim. They're going to make a claim that Canada has been illegally occupying a certain portion of U.S. property. That's my guess.
Starting point is 00:29:13 Peter Navarro is not going to say something crazy off the wall if he can't back it up. Mr. Trump says Mexico and Canada tariffs will start March 4, plus additional 10 percent on China. So, these are the tariffs on Mexico and Canada. They go into effect March 4. He's adding extra 10 percent tariffs to China, but Mexico and Canada will get 25 percent tariffs on imports coming into the United States. So, remember, he said, I'll give them 30 days?
Starting point is 00:29:53 Yes. So, apparently, they didn't satisfy his demands. This is, here's President Trump talking about, oh no, this is his—I thought it was video. This is his post on True Social. And this is earlier today. Drugs are still pouring into our country from Mexico and Canada at very high and unacceptable levels. A large percentage of these drugs, much of them in the form of fentanyl, are made in
Starting point is 00:30:20 and supplied by China. More than 100,000 people died last year due to the distribution of these dangerous and highly addictive poisons. Millions of people have died over the last two decades. The families of the victims are devastated and in many instances virtually destroyed. We cannot allow this scourge to continue to harm the U.S. and therefore until it stops we are seriously limited. The proposed tariff scheduled going in effect on March 4th will indeed go into effect as scheduled China will likewise be charged an additional 10% tariff on that date the April 2nd reciprocal tariff date will remain in full force and effect thank
Starting point is 00:31:00 you for your attention this matter God. God bless America. And so, you know, we're proceeding along with this. 100,000 a year. That's the equivalent of 30 9-11s every year. So it is a tragedy that, it's mind-boggling how long it's been allowed to go on. Yes. Chief Justice John Roberts last night temporarily halted a federal judge's requirement that the Trump administration resume two billion dollars in foreign aid payments before midnight. Yes. So one judge had decided you have to... You have to do it. This goes back to USAID. You have to restart USAID and you have to you have to do it. This goes back to USAID You have to restart USAID and you have you have to send the money before midnight
Starting point is 00:31:49 You got a federal judge telling the president United States you have to do this You know if this judge wants to be the president then run for president, right? You're not you're just your district judge Why don't you just take care of criminal cases? So Judge, why don't you just take care of criminal cases? So the Chief Justice's decision doesn't resolve the dispute. It means this is going to the Supreme Court. Right. So it's a stay that Donald Trump can go ahead and withhold the money, and that the Supreme
Starting point is 00:32:21 Court at some point here in the near future will consider the administration's claim that the lower court overstepped its authority. Okay, so the other day I told you about with the cutoff of USAID that one of Britain's biggest homosexual rights organizations had to lay off 50% of their employees. Why? Because the gravy train was shut down. The US aid grant money wasn't flowing from Washington to London to finance an LGBTQ organization
Starting point is 00:32:57 in London. Oh, I feel so bad for them. They had to lay off fifty percent of their staff because the American taxpayers don't want to finance it. Well, guess what? I found this in an Indian newspaper today, The Hindu. The Mitra Clinic, India's first transgender clinic, shuts down following USAID freeze. Their first transgender clinic. Doc, your tax money was financing a transgender clinic in India. And do you know why?
Starting point is 00:33:32 Because you couldn't do one here. Right. But they're using our money to finance these transgender clinics all over the world using American tax money. Anyhow, this thing's been shut down. I mean, I'm so glad USAID is out of business. That was the mechanism that they were using to finance so many things that were working against us. using to finance so many things that were working against us. CBS News, the US considers increasing egg imports amid skyrocketing prices.
Starting point is 00:34:12 Don't be surprised if you hear President Trump say that Russia is going to ship eggs to America. I have a feeling that in the meeting, Secretary Rubio said to Mr. Lavrov, you got eggs? Got any eggs? We're kind of short right now. They're like, eggs? Yeah, we got to have eggs.
Starting point is 00:34:34 And that's a great way to make a neighbor, by the way. Right. Just go next door and say, you got any eggs? Right. I think Mr. Rubio said you got any eggs. How many? Billions. Well, and we didn't get a chance to share this a couple weeks ago when we were talking about eggs.
Starting point is 00:34:52 Russia has the lowest priced eggs in the world right now. Number one, they're the lowest priced eggs in the world. How much are eggs in Russia? A little less than $2 a dozen. About $1.90 something a dozen. They're the cheapest eggs in the world. Number three is Mexico, by the way. This is slightly over $2.
Starting point is 00:35:11 We're paying here, we're close to $5 now for an average, dozen of eggs as it stands right now. Why? Because we're killing all our chickens. And we have additional costs with eggs. We refrigerate our eggs. Isn't Isn't it don't require refrigeration? Doc is here another way to deal with an outbreak of a bird flu on a chicken farm, you know chicken farms got
Starting point is 00:35:36 Hundreds of thousands of hens. Isn't there another way to deal with an outbreak other than killing all the chickens? Yeah, cook your your eggs and cook your chicken. Cook it to 165 degrees. I mean, that's how you solve it. Yeah, but isn't there a way to just find the chickens that are infected and kill them? Well, you would think. And a lot of these animals are vaccinated, Rick.
Starting point is 00:36:03 Right. It's true. So the vaccination didn't help them? Is that what you're telling me? So this whole culling of chickens and everything, I'm really calling into question now. That this is this. Changing the food supply.
Starting point is 00:36:20 Right. Because why aren't any other countries having this issue right now? Mexico is just making no sense to us. No other countries are calling their chickens? Right. You go to Walmart in Mexico right now and pay less than $2.50 for a dozen eggs. Walmart in Mexico. Okay, so why are we paying $5 for eggs in Walmart America? It's an honest question. What is it that people in the rest of the world are doing where they can do $2 a dozen eggs,
Starting point is 00:36:52 but we've gotta have $5 a dozen eggs? Do you know how many eggs we produce each month in America? Did you see this number in the article? Eight billion. Eight billion a month? We eat a lot of eggs, Doc. Yeah. Well, but it's part of our total food supply.
Starting point is 00:37:14 Right. You gotta have eggs for everything that we make practically. Without eggs, you don't have bread. I mean, you got bread, but you got hard tack bread. But every you go to the bakery, you get a loaf of bread, or you go to Walmart, or wherever you get your bread. You got it. It's made with eggs. Yes. Turkey, the country of Turkey, is shipping 420 million eggs to the United States this year, but that's a
Starting point is 00:37:42 drop in a bucket when we're going through eight billion per month. Right. You know. There's got to be a better way than killing all the chickens. Yes. And also, instead of shipping fresh eggs overseas, it would seem to me that you'd be shipping process eggs. Right. That could be used by commercial
Starting point is 00:38:07 institutions so that the fresh eggs are being used by consumers. But it's a good time to be in the egg business. CNBC weekly jobless claims jumped 242,000 more than expected. This isn't good for President Trump. These numbers are coming from the Biden administration. Right. But you can only go so long and blame the previous president if you're Republican. Right.
Starting point is 00:38:42 All right. I mean, the Democrats are still blaming Herbert Hoover. All right. So, but this is, you know, these are numbers that are coming in from the Biden administration, but it's showing you a trend. And now when you add the government elimination of jobs. Right. And that'll show up in about, if read in another article, in about three weeks.
Starting point is 00:39:04 This number's going to skyrocket. Right. And that'll show up in about, if read in another article, this number is going to skyrocket. Right. All right. Especially in Maryland, Virginia. And you know what, Doc? Already, Virginia, which is, Virginia used to be a very conservative Republican state. It's kind of purple now. Right. It fluctuates back and forth between Democrat and Republican, currently has a Republican governor. But the layoff of government workers is going to hurt the Republican gubernatorial candidate. And I think they have this year, they do an off election. So I think they're race for governors this year.
Starting point is 00:39:42 It's going to hurt them because you're going to have a lot of layoffs in Fairfax County, Northern Virginia. You're going to have a lot of people going to be very angry at the Republicans in Virginia because of the number of government employees in that state. So it's going to be an interesting watch to see if they can hang on to the state of Virginia. But a more important story, I think, is this next one that we're about to see. And this is also from CNBC today. Pending home sales dropped to the lowest level on record in January.
Starting point is 00:40:17 So excuse me, pending home sales. So explain, Doc, what a pending home sales. So explain, Doc, what a pending home sales. Well, you've made an agreement to purchase a home, but the financing hasn't gone through yet. It's an indication not on the number of closings, but the possibility of closings later on. So if the pending home sales drop, that means there are going to be fewer closings within,
Starting point is 00:40:45 say, from two to four to six weeks out. It means something happened from the time the contract was signed and the closing that the buyer has either voluntarily dropped out or was unable to get financing. That's right. So, pending sales, which are based on signed contracts for existing homes, dropped 4.6% from December to the lowest level since the National Association of Realtors began tracking this metric back in 2001. Sales were down 5.2% in January. And of course, these sales are an indicator of future closing. So, quoting CNBC, it's unclear if the coldest January in 25 years contribute to fewer buyers in the market. And if so, expect greater sales activity in coming months,
Starting point is 00:41:41 said Lawrence Yun, the National Association of Realtors, Chief Economist. However, it's evident that elevated home prices and higher mortgage rates strained affordability. I think there's more to it than that out there right now. It's not the weather. There's kind of a malaise among home buyers right now. I've seen a lot of homes come on the market in Vero and Fort Pierce over the past several weeks. And it just doesn't seem like anyone is interested. Just doesn't seem like anyone's motivated.
Starting point is 00:42:18 And the reason why is because people are waiting to see if interest rates are gonna drop. That's gonna be a big thing. But for a lot of people, it's just that malaise out there, just not quite sure should I move on buying a home right now. I want to encourage you to watch True News tomorrow. I pre-recorded it Friday and Monday because of our travel. Tomorrow, Friday, will be Gerald Salente Monday will be dr
Starting point is 00:42:47 Robert Malone and Both of these interviews are fantastic, but there's something that Gerald Salente Said that you will hear tomorrow and he made a very bold Prediction about the economy for 2025 and 2026. And I want you to hear it. It's not encouraging, especially if you're in the commercial real estate market or if you are in—you're heavily invested in the stock market, especially technology stocks.
Starting point is 00:43:25 So I want you to listen to True News tomorrow. And Gerald, I've been interviewing Gerald as long as I've been doing a podcast. And he had one of his 1999 Trends journals, because I remember, you know, I used to get them in the mail. And he was predicting the dot-com bust in his 1999, you know, I don't know, remember which month it was. But he read it to me in on on the in the interview and said the The technology stocks are overheated. There's going to be a there's going to be a major price correction
Starting point is 00:44:13 When was that correction? 2002-2000 so 2000 2000 so that's why I want you to hear what he said. He said there's two major corrections coming. One will be in 2025, he said the other one may be in 2025 or early 2026. Now, with that said, for those of you who have years to hear, people have years but they don't necessarily hear. For those of you who have years to hear. People have ears, but they don't necessarily hear. For those of you who have ears to hear, let me tell you something.
Starting point is 00:44:52 We're going to see tumultuous economic activity. Not a crash. No, I'm not talking about a total meltdown of the economy, but some very, very difficult trying times. And it will scare some people. I'm telling you from experience, I've been through these things in my lifetime. I've watched them and I've gone through them. And what got me through it was my faith, my faith in God, and my giving. And it wasn't just a one-time thing. It's over years, over many years. God taught me
Starting point is 00:45:38 to be a giver. He taught me to have faith in Him, to trust Him for everything that I need, and that His economy operates the opposite of the world's economy. The world's economy says, get all you can get. Can what you can get. Sit on the can. You know? But God's economy says, give all you can give. And what you will receive will just be more, just keep giving.
Starting point is 00:46:10 And He taught me that. It's part of my nature now. I don't even think about it. It's not even something I have to wonder, do I give or not? No, it's just something I do. It's like breathing. I don't wake up and go, should I breathe today? When it comes to giving, I don't have to and go should I breathe today? When it comes to giving I don't have to say to it should I give no give
Starting point is 00:46:34 Constantly given and I actually fault myself. I don't give enough Because when you know the principle you should be giving more, you know, it's like yeah, I got a costly challenge myself Give some more Rick find more opportunities give. I'm telling you this if you have ears to hear. We are in a long-term economic cycle that is going to be very difficult on various sectors of the economy. And you'll hear Gerald talking about this on tomorrow's interview. Learn to become a giver. You will get through these difficulties.
Starting point is 00:47:14 When I was a young husband and father and a new Christian doctor, did I have to tighten my belt? Did I have to cut back? Yes. Yeah, I was there too. All right. But did I go without? No. No. See? It wasn't like, hey, I got all kinds of money to throw it around. No. I had to watch my spending. But God made sure we always had enough. And this is to be sufficient in all things. This is a promise. It comes with your salvation, folks.
Starting point is 00:47:54 Your salvation comes with prosperity and good health. It's part of the package, but you have to walk in it. You have to claim it. You have to operate in the kingdom laws. And I'm telling you, if you have ears to hear, some of you are going to catch this and you're going to say, I get it. I'm going to become a giver. I want to encourage you to become a giver with us. This is a ministry that produces good fruit.
Starting point is 00:48:24 People get saved. Backsliders come back into fellowship with God. Saints are built up and strengthened through us teaching the Word. This is a ministry that produces fruit. Because we're producing fruit for the kingdom, when you partner with us, you share in the blessings. And I just have this—I have a very happy feeling about what God is doing for His Church in 2025.
Starting point is 00:48:58 I have a very good feeling that this is a good year. If you're flowing with God's Spirit this year, it's going to be a very good year for you. I want to encourage you to become a giver with us. There's our phone number, 800-576-2116. The mailing address is Post Office Box 399, Vero Beach, Florida. The zip code is 32961. And of course, the easiest way to give is online, truenews.com or faithandvalues.com. And you can make a donation, make an offering.
Starting point is 00:49:36 I don't want to say donation. I forget I said that. Offering. An offering. Bring an offering to God. Bring an offering to God. Bring an offering to God. You need to present it to God. This is my offering to you, Father, and I'm giving it in faith that Rick and Doc can keep
Starting point is 00:49:55 going with this ministry and that you will take care of your needs. And I'm telling you, he will do it. Learn to become a giver. If you're already a giver, learn to become a bigger giver. This is going to be a good year for God's people. Those who are walking in this season of miracles—I've had miracles on my mind, Doc, ever since the New Year started. It's a year of miracles. This is faith in miracles. This is the year to walk in that anointing. So you know that we're leaving tomorrow. We're flying out of Miami International Airport,
Starting point is 00:50:37 headed to—well, we have a layover in— Lisbon. Lisbon. And then on to Barcelona. And then we will be at the Mobile World Congress. I attended there, you see this is what it looks like. Mobile World Congress is the global meeting of the mobile phone industry. For those of you who are wondering, why do you want to go to a phone convention? Well, I found out in 2017 when I attended the first one that, let's just say, Klaus Schwab's fourth Industrial Revolution, the World Economic Forum,
Starting point is 00:51:20 it can't be built without the phone companies. The phone companies are building the infrastructure, the nervous system of this new world order. Whether it's driverless cars, or smart cities, smart farming, digital health records, whatever it is that they're building, they need the infrastructure of the phone companies. They need 5G.
Starting point is 00:51:44 And they're going to 6G. We will hear about 6G at this meeting. All right, so a lot of you got upset about 5G. Well, let me tell you, they're already planning 6G. And we'll come back and we'll tell you. Now, come back, we'll tell you next week. If you watch every day, we will be giving you a report. We'll tell you what week, if you watch every day, we will be giving you a report. We'll tell you what we hear.
Starting point is 00:52:06 So we have a team, a doc, Paul Benson, Eddie is going, we will fan out. What we do is we get there, we usually go to the opening session, and then we split up, we just go our separate ways. And we come back at 4 p.m. 5 p.m. at the end of the, I guess it's 5 p.m. the end of the event. Right. And we record a one-hour program of what we heard. And that's what we're going to do every day. We'll give it to you as fresh as we can. I
Starting point is 00:52:41 got a couple of videos here. This, what do we got here, Doc? This is number 21. This is just a quick overview of what we expect to see next week at Mobile World Congress. So here's a sneak preview of some of the things that you'll see as we report from Barcelona next week. Watch this. All the places in the world you could be. Why MWC, Barcelona. Everything is connectivity. Connectivity brings us together.
Starting point is 00:53:13 This is a must not miss. Magnificent things are on the way. We have grown up in a global world where culture merges like water flowing from one stream into another until we meet a mighty global ocean. Technology is developed within culture. We are entering the next chapter of this great adventure. AI has the potential to transform the world as we know it. AI is the next big inflection point, definitely bigger than the internet inflection that happened several decades ago.
Starting point is 00:54:02 There's going to be a digital workforce and a human workforce in your company. Leveraging technology in a responsible and ethical way, that's very important. In the future we will not commute, instead we will communicate. The future is here and And we are ready. What an incredible show. That's Mobile World Congress. The gentleman that you saw saying there will be human agents and artificial agents. Rick was in that session. I was there. I was in
Starting point is 00:54:41 actually several of those I picked up in that video. That was a promotion showing you what happened in 2024. But the one man who said, within two years, and he said this one year ago, 2024, he said within two years, which would mean by the end of 2026, companies will have two classes of employees, human and non-human. There was another, there was a woman there, I was in that one, where she was talking about
Starting point is 00:55:09 graphene. That doc was so far out, I was like, I felt like I had been transported to another planet. Like, is this for real? Yes. What they are doing? so We can't get to everything the show is so big there's over 100,000 people who come yes from about a hundred countries It's spread out. It's so big. We cannot get to everything we typically walk about seven miles per day inside the building
Starting point is 00:55:42 Yes, that's not counting the walking to get to the building, but at least seven miles inside the building. But we'll do our best to tell you what happened one time. Let's see, what year was that? 2019. We were there to see a live, real-time microchipping of a man and the transfer of funds by scanning the hand and moving the money from one bank account to another. When we got there, we had our TV
Starting point is 00:56:13 cameras and we were told, oh no, you're not allowed to bring TV cameras into this meeting. Really? Nope, you can't bring TV cameras in. Okay, All right. We'll leave the TV cameras here, thinking, this is a mobile phone convention. Right. You have cameras in every phone. OK. So we went inside, very small room, maybe, I think, 50 seats, something like that.
Starting point is 00:56:40 All the seats were taken and was ready to start. And just seconds before it started Like five people in the front row stood up and walked out Right and we ran I told our team I said go get up there get grab those seats Sorry, so we were in the front row and we used our phones and we recorded we're gonna show you just a little bit of what we saw. Can you see it? Find that angle. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:57:12 So, it's magnified, guys. It's not that big. Okay, so, this syringe is about the size of two times the needle that they use to... oh, oh it's happening. Okay. Oh Oh Ah Oh Ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha And by the way, that was sponsored by a bank. Yes. That was sponsored by a bank. A Spanish bank. Yes. That was sponsored by a bank. A Spanish bank.
Starting point is 00:58:25 Yes. You never know what you're going to see at Mobile World Congress, so make sure to tune in all next week, folks. Oh, yes. It'll be Tuesday through Friday, our coverage, Tuesday through Friday. Tomorrow, Friday, will be Gerald Solenty, and then on Monday, Dr. Robert Malone. I'm going to show you.
Starting point is 00:58:44 I've already recorded the interviews. I'm going to show you just short clips of both interviews. First one, here's Gerald Salente. Short term, how will AI change our daily lives, our work, our lives at home? How do you see it affecting us short term? It takes more of the people becoming addicted to the high-tech world. It puts more and more of your time into it. So less and less of your time on the human level and more and more of your time on the
Starting point is 00:59:25 high tech level. Right. And that's what it's become. It's gone. You know, as I say, you know, they say in the King's James Bible that the meek shall inherit the earth. They misspelt it. The geeks have inherited the earth.
Starting point is 00:59:43 And that's the future. And it's just going to keep escalating. And it's going to take more of the human spirit away. In 2000, 10% of 18-year-olds in China went to college. Today, nearly 70% of 18-year-olds are going to college. From 10% to almost 70%. We're going to AI now. These are all young people. Oh, they got 1.4 billion people over there. Oh, how many do we have here? About 330 million. Young people are tech addicted. This is the future. And they have the, want to call it brain power, the AI brain power to advance this as quick as they can and as fast as they can so that they could become they can so that they could become the controllers of AI. It's not going to be Silicon Valley, which is already going down the tubes.
Starting point is 01:00:52 It's going to be China. And if you want to talk about a totalitarian even more than here, how about over there? So when you're looking at AI, look at China, and that's where it's going as we see it. Let's go back to Fort Knox and our debt level. Trump's going to come out, Musk's going to come out. Fort Knox is loaded with gold. We've got more gold than anywhere in the world, and we're going to raise the price to $5,000 an ounce. You got it. And it's going to wipe out our debt level.
Starting point is 01:01:29 That's the kind of thing we could see them doing. Gerald, we are tracking. That's exactly what we have been speculating here. They're going to revalue gold. They're going to revalue gold. Yep. And tell us Fort Knox is loaded. Yep. You're not going to see it, but you just got to take the word for it. No, no. Yep, and and tell us Fort Knox is loaded. Yep
Starting point is 01:01:50 You're not gonna see it, but you just gotta take the word for it. Oh, yeah. Yeah, you're not allowed to go in there You're just a piece of crap national security. We are not allowed to go and only only my friends could go in there, right? It's classic Gerald. Okay, you're gonna love the interview tomorrow and then on Monday is Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of the mRNA vaccine technology, which was invented to fight cancer. Yes. And he, I'm going to tell you, he has come such a long way from back when we interviewed him in 2020 for the film that we made, Greatest Reset. And he's moved light years in understanding what's going on, especially spiritually. He's grown a lot. I really enjoy watching what God is doing through Dr. Malone. But here's a quick clip of the interview which will be released on Monday.
Starting point is 01:02:51 Dr. Malone Truth is subjective, of course. We've seen examples of that in the transgender movement, the advocacy for multiple genders. There's many, many examples where population at large, a significant fraction of the population, becomes convinced that reality is entirely subjective and can be defined by their own feelings. Of course, this is particularly prominent in the age cohort that's grown up with video games, where of course reality is whatever you want it to be. And we have this language of non-player characters and all of that, that's kind of integrated.
Starting point is 01:03:31 And then we have, so those, if you think about, one way to structure this is there are those that are living in the virtual world, we refer to as virtuals. So I define the new cast system as machines, overlords, physicals and virtuals. And physicals are the kind of people that Mike Rowe talks about, the folks that actually do stuff with their hands, dirty jobs and everything else. And there's something about having to encounter reality in a physical sense that makes it
Starting point is 01:04:01 a lot harder to buy into the logic that reality is whatever you feel it is at the moment. And it turns out that, again, historically, there is about 20% to 30% of the population, historically, that can't be hypnotized, that is very resistant to this kind of technology, and is kind of the vanguard of the resistance, if you want to call it that, using the Star Wars metaphor. Or you could think of them as akin to the resistance in the Matrix, if that's a more familiar metaphor for you, the resistance of the humans against the machines.
Starting point is 01:04:41 But there is always this cohort for some reason and what makes people part of that is not well defined in psychology. It's not well known. There's a lot of hypotheses. A lot of these are people that have had some traumatic experience in their life that have caused them to become much more skeptical
Starting point is 01:05:01 of promoted narratives and authority figures. And then there's this persuadable middle that waxes and wanes that is very susceptible to dominant narratives in the culture. But when alerted and woken up, which is a big part of the intention of the book, is capable of moving back and forth between accepting the promoted narratives and questioning the promoted narratives. And in terms of the big picture, the overreach that happened during COVID,
Starting point is 01:05:44 I think has really expanded that window of people that are open to alternative narratives from those that are officially promoted. – Okay, so that's a clip from my interview with Dr. Robert Malone. – And that's on Monday. – On Monday. And it's about his new book called Psy Wars, Psychological Warfare. There it is. Psy Wars. He wrote it with his wife, Jill, enforcing the New World Order. It's a fascinating interview. You want to make sure you watch it tomorrow as Gerald Solente. He's got two big predictions about the economy in that interview. And then Tuesday
Starting point is 01:06:23 through Friday, it will be your True News team from Barcelona, Spain at Mobile World Congress. It's going to be a busy week. Thank you so much, everybody who contributed and made this possible. Thank you so much. I'm very, very grateful. All of our needs are met on this trip, and we are enormously grateful to the supporters of this ministry that you enabled us to make this trip. We'll do you good. We'll get you a lot of information. And then we'll be back the following week. God bless. Pray for us. We need your prayers. You're covering a prayer for physical protection, for our health. We're around 100,000 people from 100 nations. There's a lot of germs and viruses and bacteria, all kinds of stuff floating around, okay? And just pray for us, okay?
Starting point is 01:07:10 Right. God bless. God bless you. Here are two massively important products to have in an emergency. Because it's not a matter of if, but when an emergency will happen to you. With years of experience in survival preparedness, let me tell you, these are must haves. One, high quality and nutrient packed shelf stable emergency food buckets. And two, reliable and long-lasting water filtration systems.
Starting point is 01:07:45 These essentials will make all the difference in an emergency, supplying your loved ones with all the calories and nutrients they need to survive any scenario. Don't take the risk. Try my favorite America-loving brand American Reserves for your emergency food supply needs. Good morning. Welcome to Morning Manor. We're glad to have you with us we are studying the book of Romans and we're going to be finishing up the last several verses in chapter 6 and then we'll move into chapter 7 and get started there we will have a an abbreviated class tomorrow morning on Friday, which is
Starting point is 01:08:29 Faith Friday. We will have a short lesson and the Lord's Supper. And then Doc and our team were leaving for Miami Airport immediately thereafter and we have to get on the highway and get down to Miami headed out to Barcelona Spain and so there will not be a prayer meeting tonight and there will not be any morning manna next week until we return from Spain we get back the following Friday night and so the next Monday we'll be back with Morning Man Up. So let's pray and then Doc can read the verses in Romans 6, 21 through 23, and then we'll see where we're at and what verses we can tackle in chapter seven.
Starting point is 01:09:20 Gracious Father, our Father in heaven, we love you, we praise you, we praise you. We thank you, Father, for this opportunity that you've given us through technology to gather together, brothers and sisters in many nations, joined together in real time at Faith in the Values, Father. We thank you for this platform. We thank you for the resources to you for this platform we thank you for the resources to pay for this platform we thank you that you are here present with us your Holy Spirit to teach us your word and so now come Holy Spirit and take charge of
Starting point is 01:09:56 this Bible study illuminate us and teach us about Jesus Christ and his kingdom in the name of Jesus we we pray, amen. Amen. Praise the Lord and welcome to Morning Manna. If you've got your Bibles and should always have your Bibles. Let's turn to Romans chapter six today. We're going to finish up Romans six today.
Starting point is 01:10:17 We're just gonna read three verses. Hopefully we get to chapter seven today as well. But let's finish up by Romans six today, beginning at verse 21. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin
Starting point is 01:10:37 and become servants to God, you have your fruit unto holiness and the end everlasting life. Verse 23, for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Praise the Lord. Amen. Verse 21, Romans 621, what fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed, you then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed for the end of those things is death." I think we may have touched briefly on this yesterday as we were closing that sin does not any true lasting valuable fruit. There's nothing good that comes from sin. It brings emptiness, regret, guilt, harm, and eventually death. So, Paul is saying, what proof do you have from those things that you're now ashamed of?
Starting point is 01:11:50 For in the end, those things lead to death. The believers' shame for past sins means that if you are a believer and you are ashamed of your past behavior it means there has been a spiritual transformation in your life. Right. You wouldn't have the shame if God had not worked in your life. It means you've been your spirit, your being is being brought into alignment with God's standards. And that's why you have shame about your past behavior. I know that there are there's a current teaching running in some churches that you should never talk about shame. Right. We should never
Starting point is 01:12:48 ever talk about shame. Shame is a good thing. Now, it can be used, it can be misused. Right. But God uses shame. It amazes me that even animals express shame, Rick. Yes. You know, you had a dog before, same thing with my dog, Fudge. If I come home, normally he's jumping up down, he's happy, he's excited, dad's home, dad's home. But if I open the door from the garage
Starting point is 01:13:20 and walk in the house and he's got his head hanging down, and he's walking around, got his tail between his legs. I know something's up. He either made a mess on the floor or he chewed something he wasn't supposed to chew. He did something, how he knows he did something wrong, I can't figure out. But he's expressing shame. So even animals express shame. So it's not, shame isn't all a bad thing. Shame compels us not to have shame. You know, Doc, my golden retriever, Gator, who passed away a number of years ago,
Starting point is 01:14:00 I thought he was the perfect dog. I thought Gator's never done anything wrong in his entire life. This dog is perfect. Until many years later, in his last couple of years, we put security cameras inside our house that we turned on when we left the house. And that's when I discovered that when we walked out the door, Gator got on the sofa.
Starting point is 01:14:34 And he got off the sofa when he heard the car in the driveway. I thought, you little rascal, all these years, I had no idea you were doing that. You knew it was wrong. See, the animal knew it was wrong. It's amazing, isn't it? He kept his image up. Boy, I tell you what, I'm golden. He's a golden retriever.
Starting point is 01:15:03 Yeah, he doesn't do anything wrong. So the inevitable outcome of sin always without exception. The outcome of sin is spiritual and eternal death. Right. There's not one human who's ever beaten and sinned and then died and had eternal life with God. Not one. The only way that you can have eternal life with God is to repent of your sins and to believe in the name of Jesus Christ who defeated sin, the devil, hell, the grave. So knowing the finality of sin underscores the seriousness of choosing righteousness over sin.
Starting point is 01:16:09 When you know that's going to lead to death. You try to get this across to people whom you love. Like, do you understand the way you're living? There's a day you're going to die and your soul's gonna be lost. They don't believe they're gonna die. Not now. I got a long time to live.
Starting point is 01:16:38 They just, they can't grasp the possibility of it. They can't grasp the possibility of it So Evaluating actions in light of their eternal consequences is is a is a theme in Paul's letter That Paul is telling us use this this lens I'm giving you. See life through this lens. Understand the gravity of sin, that it always leads to death.
Starting point is 01:17:18 That sin is futile, it's dangerous, it's risky. Sin is futile, it's dangerous, it's risky. And yet you can choose and you can have abundant life. So this recognition of sin's shame and its bareness, once again, is the work of grace in our life. If you think about your past behavior and you wince, you go, Oh, God have mercy. He did. He did. And his grace is what is working inside of you right now that makes you ashamed of the way you behaved in the past.
Starting point is 01:18:11 It's a gift, it's a divine gift. It's the work of God in your life. It's to deepen your appreciation for the salvation that's been given to you through faith in Christ. Let me get down to verse 22. But now being made free from sin and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness and the end everlasting life. Modern English but now being made free from sin and having become servants of God you have your
Starting point is 01:18:57 fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life. So if we're comparing apples to apples, fruit to fruit here, if you will, first of all, he asks the question, what fruit of sin? Well, the inevitable answer to that question is there is no fruit to sin. If there is any fruit, I can just imagine it's rotten, it's shriveled up, it's stinking, you know, because it's worthless, it has no value. But then he compares the fruit of holiness to that, the genuine fruit, fruit that is real, fruit that you can just imagine, that it's beautiful, that it's fully ripe, that you look at it and you want to eat it, you know, it looks so good. And so he's got that comparison going on between the fruit of sin and the fruit of holiness here. He said, look at these two fruits here. Why would you choose
Starting point is 01:20:01 rotten fruit when you can have good fruit, the fruit of holiness? Yes. But now being made free from sin and having become servants of God. Paul is emphasizing the believers. This break in their life, there was a definitive break with sin, where the person made a decision to believe the gospel, to place faith in what Jesus did on the cross. Amen. And at that moment they were liberated from the control of sin because they placed their faith in what Christ did for them on the cross and that this is a complete shift from their old life. complete shift from their old life.
Starting point is 01:21:10 This freedom, which comes with sanctification in this life and then eternal life in the world to come, again is entirely the work of God's grace. Amen. No human effort involved other than our decision to believe Jesus. But even then we had to be called by the Holy Spirit. We had to be given faith to believe. We didn't even have the faith to believe in faith. That's right. even have a faith to believe in faith. That's right. And to give me faith to believe in faith. This transformation is totally God's unmerited power alone. When you understand To understand this principle, you more deeply appreciate and understand the graciousness of God to save our souls.
Starting point is 01:22:20 Our new servitude to Christ, it's voluntary, it's joyful. There's a God-centered allegiance that replaces our previous bondage to sin. We become... Pastor Alexander McLaren, he said, we become dedicated to glorifying God. That becomes our purpose. We're dedicated to glorifying God. What is the purpose of man? To glorify God and to enjoy being with him, to enjoy him.
Starting point is 01:23:05 So there's a complete reorientation of life. We willingly align ourselves with God's standards. That's the submission. That's becoming a servant, a slave. The happiest you'll ever be is when you are a slave to Christ. You know, we've mentioned it before that, but the sanctification, the process is ongoing. It's a continuous journey.
Starting point is 01:23:45 The process is ongoing. It's a continuous journey. And the Holy Spirit is working in us. As long as we are making ourselves available to him, the Holy Spirit will work with you. It's looking for fruit, looking. Think about it. He's a fruit inspector. He's always looking for fruit. Oh yes. What is the fruit? Tangible evidence in a person's life that the Holy Spirit has influence in that person's
Starting point is 01:24:19 life. That's the fruit. What happens if a person goes decades claiming to be a Christian but there's absolutely no fruit? You know, I'm not going to answer that question because I'm not God. I'm not saying that they did not save them. I'm not saying they lose their salvation, but they may lose their life in this world because you're fertilizing a tree that's not producing any fruit. Well, but if you look at verse 22 there, Rick, it says that this fruit that's generated from holiness leads to eternal life. So if you don't have fruit that's leading to holiness, do you have eternal life?
Starting point is 01:25:20 Thank you, Doc. I mean, let's just quote the Word. Let's just quote the Scripture. That way, our opinion doesn't matter to it. It's what the Word says. Thank you. That way, there's no argument. You can still argue with God at that point.
Starting point is 01:25:38 Fruit leads to eternal life. So, what is the opposite? No fruit leads to eternal life. So what is the opposite? No fruit leads to eternal death. Right. Everybody ought to be checking their branches today. Am I fruity today. Oh, yeah. You better at least get some buds. All right, get something going, some blossoms. You know, my wife Mia, she's got, she has got an incredible green thumb.
Starting point is 01:26:16 I mean, and she got that from her mother. Her mother grew bonsai, and still does, bonsai trees, death for decades. But Mia just has plants everywhere. But she is, I mean, she means business when it comes to plants, especially the ones that are fruit bearing. If you get to a certain stage, and you're not bearing fruit, you're just bearing flowers, and those flowers aren't turning to fruit, she'll just pull you up, pull you right up out of the ground, and you go into the fire pit.
Starting point is 01:26:48 And that'll preach. Wow. She is without mercy when it comes to these budding fruit trees. And so she says no sense spending time on them because it'll take years for them to produce fruit. If they're not going gonna produce fruit at this stage, I can't afford to invest time in waiting for years for fruit to come about. That is a lesson. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:27:16 I'm saying, well, I'm glad, I'm glad I served God. I'm glad he is my God, that's what I'm glad. So. So our holiness is lived out through our behavior. Yes. Our words, our thoughts, our giving, our relationships. These are tangible acts of practical holiness. Tangible acts of practical holiness. I've met people, super religious people that want
Starting point is 01:27:53 everybody to believe that they're holy, how their presence in a room just brought about the spirit of heaven. There needs to be practical examples of your holiness. The end, the result of sanctification is eternal life. That's where it's heading. That's why we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us. As Doc pointed out, fruit leads to eternal life. Doc pointed out fruit leads to eternal life. So if you see the, if you view the Holy Spirit as a gardener, an orchardist, the Holy Spirit is working in your life
Starting point is 01:28:59 to bring about fruit. And you don't want the Holy Spirit to have a Mia attitude. Right? Because that's all he said. No fruit. You go into the fire pit. Thank God, God is gracious with us. He's always looking at it. There might be some growth there. I see a green leaf So glad the Lord is patient yes long-suffering Our last verse in chapter 6 Or everybody knows this verse for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. So there's a currency.
Starting point is 01:29:59 There's a currency in sin. Yes. If you're going to sin sin. You're gonna pay. You get paid. That's right. You're gonna you're gonna get paid. You're gonna get paid with death. When you go to the pay window, when your life is over, you say here's here's your pay. Oh, looks like eternal death. It's right on the check.
Starting point is 01:30:31 Rick, I don't know, do you remember the first time you had a real job where they did withholding and everything, do you remember your very first job like that? I remember mine, and I remember getting my first paycheck. You know, I had worked before, you know, cutting grass, shelving snow, delivering papers, all the other stuff, but no one ever, you know, had a formal check with withholding and everything. So I remember the first time I got a check, it was from the city of Keatsville,
Starting point is 01:30:59 Missouri. And for, I read water meters, okay, and you had to clock in so many hours and stuff. and for I've read water meters, okay? And you had to clock in so many hours and stuff. And I remember going down and getting my first check. That's when they still did handwritten checks at the city clerk's window and everything for employees. And they handed me a check and I was like, I looked down and said, where's the rest of my money?
Starting point is 01:31:21 I was supposed to be working this many hours and I put in this many hours, I got paid this much. And I said, where's the rest of my money. I'm supposed to be working this many hours and I put in this many hours I got paid this much and I said where's the rest of my money? She said it's withholding. Withholding? Withholding what? Well you got state taxes, federal taxes, Social Security, all these different withholdings and I was like so disappointed when I got my check. I mean, I'm glad to have some money, but I was so disappointed because I was expecting more. Well, that's what the paycheck the devil gives.
Starting point is 01:31:52 He gives you a paycheck and you look at it and he has withheld everything. What do you have left? It just says on the pay window on the check, death. The wages of sin is death. How disappointing it would be to work your entire life and just to discover that the paycheck you received was death. When I was about 12 and 13 years old, I used to work for a Mennonite farmer 12 and 13 years old, I used to work for a Mennonite farmer, baling hay, milking cows and things. Doc, he withheld.
Starting point is 01:32:32 He withheld 100%. He was like, he'd reach down in his pocket and pull out a quarter and hand me a quarter. I'm like, man, I'm covered in, in haydust. I've been here. Of course I was 12 years old. I probably did a 25 cents worth of work. All right. But I thought I was working, but he, he, he paid me with a quarter. Um, but the devil will pay you generously with death. Hey, it's eternal. You'll get this forever. That's right. You're on hell's benefit program now. All right, you'll be collecting this pay every hour for eternity. You know, and the devil's laughing at people because this death, it encompasses physical
Starting point is 01:33:38 mortality, spiritual alienation, eternal separation from God. That eternal separation from God is the ultimate separation, it's the ultimate hell. I think the ultimate hell is when God wipes his memory of everybody that's been placed in the lake of fire and he no longer remembers that he ever made them. and he no longer remembers that he ever made them. That is so frightening to me.
Starting point is 01:34:25 But what is offered from Jesus? Eternal life. as a gift. There are no wages. Thank you, Doc. There are no wages. There's nothing. Satan makes you a slave and he makes you work for it. Yeah, and in the natural, if you receive a gift of any significant amount, you have to pay taxes on it in this life. God doesn't even do that. God doesn't say, well, here's a gift. I'm going to withhold part of it. No, he gives it all to you the entire gift. This is God's, his mercy, his generosity, where he, he gives life to those who deserve death. We all deserve death and yet He gives us life.
Starting point is 01:35:12 Because we put our faith in what His Son did for us, what He sent His Son to earth to do. And so God the Father says because you recognize the work of my Son, because you accept it, you believe in it, you have faith in what he did, therefore I wipe out your sins and I bestow upon you the gift of eternal life. Because this eternal life is mediated through Jesus Christ, no one else. There's only one who can reconcile humanity to God. Jesus Christ is central to salvation. is central to salvation. You've got the wages of sin contrasted with the gift of eternal life. Those are the choices for every human being. And this is really how simple
Starting point is 01:36:30 the gospel can be conveyed to people. You simply tell people, look, at the end of your life you're going to go to a pay window. You need to understand that you're going to go to a pay window. And what's going to be offered to you there is going to be the wages that you earned by being a sinner, the paycheck, the paycheck, or you're going to receive a free gift. Any gift is free. A gift, you're going to receive a gift. You didn't earn it. But you receive it because you believed you had faith in Jesus Christ. Which one do you want? You ask people, which
Starting point is 01:37:36 one do you want? It's just that simple. And as Doc said many times people people stumble over because they go it can't be that simple but it is It There's a fork in the road you have to choose which road you're traveling on the early Christian preachers always were preaching on two roads a Road that leads to death a road that leads to life That was their message everywhere they went Telling people which road do you want to travel on? When you get to the end of the road this one will lead to death this one will lead to life
Starting point is 01:38:22 So the promise of eternal life offers us hope and the motivation to persevere in faith and righteousness. It's the encouragement for holiness. I said it yesterday, I think it was on True News, I might have said it to Doc All Fair, but look, Christ is coming back soon. I will go through whatever I have to go through. Whatever tribulation, persecution, whatever it is, let's just get it over with. I am going to see Christ. End of discussion. I've made that decision.
Starting point is 01:39:17 Nothing is going to hold me back. Nothing's going to prevent me from being with my father forever, with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit. I've made that decision. There's nothing the devil's going to dangle in front of my eyes and say, don't you want this? No, no. That's death. Right. You take the wrapper off that thing and it's rotten. Don't want it. You remain committed to God and see that that commitment that will give you the that commitment that will give you the willpower, that will give you the sustaining power to get through anything in life. Whatever you've got to go through,
Starting point is 01:40:13 you are going to get through it because you are determined to get to the end. Why? You receive a free gift. I don't know. Let's see. You want to move on, Doc, to chapter 7 or just save it for when we come back? I'm kind of leaning towards just saving it to... We'll start it fresh when we come back from Barcelona. Hey, I'm game for that too. Yeah, let's do that.
Starting point is 01:40:52 All right, tomorrow we'll have a brief meeting. We'll have more in the morning tomorrow, just letting everybody know. It'll be a short one, maybe 30 minutes. It's Faith Friday and we'll be in Hebrews 11 and then we'll have the Lord's Supper and then Doc and I and the team will get on the way and we'll see you next week from from Barcelona. Alright, well folks with that being said we'll sign off for now. God bless you. Thank you for being a part of Morning Manna, especially if you joined us live. We do this live every weekday morning at 8 a.m. unless we happen to be in Barcelona,
Starting point is 01:41:32 which will be next week, so no Morning Manna next week. We had nearly 400 people today from a counted right 11 countries today, but I think I've missed a couple.
Starting point is 01:41:59 So, but we appreciate you being here. Don't forget tomorrow, we'll commemorate the Lord's Supper, so be sure to have bread and either grape juice or red wine with us as we prepare to celebrate the Lord's Body and Blood. Rick, any final words before we sign off today? Just our whole team, we appreciate your prayers for our safety and our health. Barcelona is a safe city. Pickpockets about the only major thing you got to watch out for. But the the bigger issue is the conference will have 100,000
Starting point is 01:42:41 people from about 100 different countries, which means there will be all kinds of germs and bacteria and viruses circulating around. And you know, last year, several of us became really sick. And so anyhow, appreciate your prayers. Keep us, you know, just keep that divine shield around us at all times. Yes. And, you know, we will fill your prayers. I'll tell you that. We will know that you're praying for us, okay?
Starting point is 01:43:19 Praise God. Those prayers work. They really do. They really do. They really do. Alright folks, thank you very much for joining us on today's edition of Morning Man. We will be back here tomorrow morning, 8 a.m. bright and early, here on the East Coast of the U.S. and we invite you to join us again, bring a friend with you next time.
