Steve Bannon revealed some fascinating insider information about how Benjamin Netanyahu muscled his way into White House meetings to pressure President Trump to bomb Iran. This is true news for Friday, April 18, 2025. Let's begin our analysis and commentary of today's news with this I-24 article.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Iran is a breath away from a nuclear bomb, says IAEA chief, warning ahead of critical talks. Doc, you know, for years it was Iran is a year away from a bomb. Then it was months, months, and then weeks. Now it's a breath. Yes. Just one breath. So it was five years ago where Netanyahu was in front of the United Nations and said,
Starting point is 00:02:13 Iran is weeks away, weeks away, I say. Now just one breath. Just a breath now. I mean, this means you got to bomb them right now. And that's the idea of the story, isn't it? Yeah, so on the eve of high-stake talks in Tehran, Rafiq Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, issued a stark warning.
Starting point is 00:02:35 Iran is alarmingly close to acquiring a nuclear weapon. In an interview with Le Monde, Grossi said Iran, quote, has the pieces of the puzzle. They just have to put them together. He quit expressing deep concern over Tehran's continued uranium enrichment efforts. You know, this Persians, it's taking them a long time to figure this out. They built these, time to figure this out. They built these, you know, reactors, they've got deep underground nuclear facilities, but they can't put the puzzle together, Doc. Really? That's what they want you to believe.
Starting point is 00:03:17 I think they already have nuclear weapons. Well, I do too. I believe that for quite some time. In fact, I said here before you go back to the fall of the Soviet Union, there were rumors in Western newspapers that Soviet generals sold some of the Russian Soviet ICBMs and warheads to China and Iran. So that was back in the 1990s. Nobody talks about that anymore. Right. So I've always assumed that they've had some weapons tucked away.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Yeah. And the reason why I believe it, Rick, is that, you know, we have never hesitated to go into any Middle Eastern country at all, being Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, but not Iran. Now, why have we held back? Why are we just scared of the Persians? Are we, you know, kind of opening things up? I'm of the conviction and persuasion that they've had nuclear weapons for quite a while.
Starting point is 00:04:18 And that's why we've hesitated and that's why Israel has hesitated to make any substantial strikes on their own. And they want the United States to do it. That's right. Now, today, the Iranian military paraded their missiles and their troops through the streets of Tehran as a show of force, as the nuclear talks ramp up with the United States. We've got some video. This is from Iran's press TV. Let's watch. It is National Army Day that they were commemorating there, but it was also timing as well. Yes, nothing like a military parade.
Starting point is 00:05:19 And they were marching today and they also had their missiles, you know, being towed down the streets, flexing their military muscles for Israel and the United States to see, saying, hey, think twice before you come here and start a fight. Now let's get back to this because was it, see, today's Friday. So was it Wednesday? The New York Times reported that President Trump kind of backed off on a plan to bomb Iran, that they actually were thinking about doing it months ago. And then he kind of held off and said, let's give negotiations time to work itself out. Here's I-24 news in Israel. Israel planned to strike Iran but was held back by Trump.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Now this was based on the New York Times report. I think it came out Wednesday. So President Trump was asked about it. Did you wave off the attack? Did you hold it off? That's what the New York Times is reporting, that you were given the plan to bomb Iran, and then you held it up. Is that true, Mr. President?
Starting point is 00:06:35 This is what? Did you waved off an Israeli plan to attack Iranian nuclear facilities? I wouldn't say waved off. I'm not in a rush to do it because I think that Iran has a chance to have a great country and to live happily without death. And I'd like to see that. That's my first option. If there's a second option, I think it would be very bad for
Starting point is 00:07:12 Iran, and I think Iran is wanting to talk. I hope they're wanting to talk. It's going to be very good for them if they do. And I'd like to see Iran thrive in the future. It'd do fantastically well. I know the Iranian people, they're incredible people. Always have been very smart, very energetic, very successful people.
Starting point is 00:07:35 And I don't want to do anything that's going to hurt anybody. I really don't. But Iran can't have a nuclear weapon. It's pretty simple. It's really simple. We're not looking to take their industry. We're not looking to take their land. All we're saying is you can't have a nuclear weapon.
Starting point is 00:07:54 That's encouraging to hear him say it. But I do believe he did wave off the attack. I believe it. Well, he did. He did wave off the, that's what he's saying, you know. He said, I wouldn't say I waved off the attack, but he did say it. Yes. He was given a plan to bomb Iran and he, at the last minute, said, no, let's not do it. Which is encouraging because that tells me to keep praying. Pray that the Zionists don't get their way
Starting point is 00:08:31 in the White House to bring more death and destruction on the world. Yes, and really the only thing holding it back, I believe, is prayer. Yes. Prayers of the saints, let there be peace. You know, there's so many, the Zionists, or Christian Zionists talk about pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Starting point is 00:08:47 I'm praying for it too. How about the peace of the world? Yes. Can we just have peace in the whole world? You know, they forget about, you know, there've been Jews in Persia, Iran, for what, 3,000 years? Yes, at least. The Iranians aren't trying to kill Jews.
Starting point is 00:09:07 They have a Jewish population. A large Jewish population. And they're not leaving, are they? No, they like it. They like it. They like living there. They like being Iranian Jews. No, Iran is talking about Zionism.
Starting point is 00:09:23 And there are Christians in Iran. They've been there for 2,000 years. Most likely, the wise men, the Magi who traveled to Bethlehem to worship the baby, the Christ child, most likely they were from Persia. Right. So there's a long history with the nation and God does not want the Persians destroyed. Steve Bannon in his program War Room, he gave out some information. He said, an insider gave him about what went down in the White House when B.B. Netanyahu was there. Right.
Starting point is 00:10:10 Ynet News is reporting this as well, saying former Trump advisor slams Benjamin Netanyahu for arrogance in pushing the U.S. on an Iranian strike. He said that he has accused Bibi Netanyahu of repeatedly pressuring US President Donald Trump to approve a military strike on Iran's nuclear sites, an effort that President Trump has, as for now, rejected in favor of direct negotiations with Tehran. Well we got a video here from Real America's Voice with Steve Bannon talking about it. Let's watch. The New York Times had a story yesterday, Jack, that was jaw-dropping, but not surprising.
Starting point is 00:10:52 And that is Bibi, because it was kind of fishy. He came for these two meetings, and he literally shows up. And I think this is a problem for people like ourselves that support Israel. He shows up. He's got a bombing plan, he's ready to roll, they're going in mid-May, and they need Trump to sign off on it. They need Trump to sign.
Starting point is 00:11:11 This is why, and I don't know this from it's own fact, but I can tell, this is why Trump walks in the first time and says, hey, we're gonna go Trump-Gaza. That thing, you see BBs look on his face, and they do the formal press conference later. The second time BB shows I was supposed to be a terrorist. We now know from the New York Times He's pushing as we said on the show to start bombing
Starting point is 00:11:32 Immediately and wants American help because he can't do it by himself and Trump there in front of him announces Hey, we're having one-on-one. We're gonna have a one-on-one negotiation You are not gonna be in the room or we're gonna do do it in Oman, and we're starting on Saturday, which is clearly a shock to him. Jack Bassobick, to connect all these dots, and particularly, I think people should be quite upset of B.B. pushing this as hard as he's pushing it, and give props to the commander in chief, President Trump,
Starting point is 00:12:01 who's got so much of the world on his shoulders right now, just saying, yo, cool it, right? I got other things I'm working on. Jack Bassobit. Steve, what President Trump did last year in the United States of America, this victory that carried from coast to coast, the massive wave that we saw of patriotism outpouring
Starting point is 00:12:23 throughout the country was predicated on three major issues. Number one, trade. And he said tariffs over and over and over. He said we're gonna fix trade and fix the economy. Number two, immigration. We're gonna fix the border, deport illegals, and he's been executing on those two. And number three was stopping World War Three. And we remember all of the drumbeat for World War Three. Now, they were talking about Russia, but they were also discussing Iran. And President Trump went out to every stage he could find and said, no more wars. He even went on stages, or one of them, as we saw, they tried to take him out in Butler, Pennsylvania, but
Starting point is 00:13:06 God prevented that. And while he was up there, what was he talking about? No more immigration, deporting illegals, and no more war. So what did President Trump do when he was elected? He put together the greatest assemblage of patriots that this country has ever seen since the days of Washington and Madison and Jefferson and Franklin and our founding fathers and they came together finally from all across the political aisle and you've got former Democrats and former independents and Greens and all the rest of it coming in
Starting point is 00:13:37 and what united this coalition it was those three issues and particularly as well the maha issue which eventually came on but Threading through all of that was peace well, Rick is Being critical of Benjamin Netanyahu by Steve Bannon and Jack possobeak. Is that is that anti-semitic? well, they're As Reagan would say well doc Well, they're, as Reagan would say, well, doc,
Starting point is 00:14:10 they're treading on dangerous territory. But more people are waking up and realizing that what we were saying 10 years ago is true. And it's not so dangerous now. You're not going to lose everything by criticizing Zionism. And so more people are speaking it, and it's still a dangerous topic, but they're not carrying out the reputation assassinations like they were doing seven, eight, ten years ago where they just wipe out people. They tried to do it to me. I'm still standing. They tried with everything they could to take me out
Starting point is 00:14:54 short of killing me for criticizing Israel. But people, you know, we cracked the wall. People under people began to see. Wait a minute, Rick Weiss said Israel and didn't die. Yes, he's still standing. And and more people got courage to speak and more eyes opened up. Hey, Lee, in control, if you can find it, it's OK. Be great if you can find it is so big great if you can't that's okay Look on look on X and see if you can find any video of President Trump
Starting point is 00:15:37 Pushing the chair in of Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House Yeah, there are several because he did it twice both visits. Yes. He did it two times Yes, if you can find one or both of those videos, I'd like to show it. Because a lot of people were like, they were outraged. They were look at this. Donald Trump is he's he's holding the chair for BB Netanyahu and pushing the chair in. He didn't do that for any other head of state. Why Netanyahu? He's a he's a servant of the Zionists. That was what everybody was saying. He's a servant of the of the Zionists.
Starting point is 00:16:11 This is disgusting. Donald Trump is lowering himself to being a butler for for Netanyahu. And I'm going to tell you, I never saw it that way. I never presented it that way and never shared that. There you go, Rick. OK, I never saw it that way. I never presented it that way. I never shared that. There you go, Rick. Okay, there it is. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Watch Donald Trump. Watch his, watch him walk away. Watch him. Watch. Just watch him walk away. There you go, BB. And by the way, that video is from the Prime Minister's press office there.
Starting point is 00:16:46 Yes, but the face on Donald Trump. Here's your chair. Have at it. You know what it says to me? When you least expect it, baby, I'm going to pull the chair out from under you. And your your heiny is going to fall on the floor. Just look at the face on Donald Trump. That's not a subservient look.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Not at all. That's a man who's in control. He's in control. And he's making Netanyahu think that he's in control. Right. And he surprised Benjamin Netanyahu twice. And the first visit by Benjamin Netanyahu, he released his Gaza resort plan.
Starting point is 00:17:31 Yes. All right, and then on the second trip, he announced, so Netanyahu was here this week, said, oh yeah, we're meeting with Iran this Saturday. Right, and he had no idea. Didn't know it was happening. And he's got to keep a straight face and not... Because he can't disagree with President Trump.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Yes. But he's got to work against him quietly in the background. So I am very proud of President Trump that he's not fallen for this pressure. He's the latest president in 20 years that I've seen come under pressure. George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, President Trump in his first term, they've all come under this pressure to bomb Iran from the same guy Netanyahu. He has this obsession with destroying the Iranian people. And he can't do it alone.
Starting point is 00:18:33 He can't do it alone. But what he's got to do he's trying to do is provoke the war and do it in a way that the US has to go to war for him. Right. And let's just pray that he fails at this mission. Iran can't defeat the United States, but they can inflict some horrible pain on us. Meaning this, they could sink some battleships. They could blow up military bases in the Middle East.
Starting point is 00:19:07 We could lose 20, 30,000 soldiers in a couple hours. Right. For what? Soldiers and sailors, for what? For Bibi Netanyahu. So let's continue praying that President Trump stays ahead of Netanyahu. Pray for peace. Yeah, you can pull his chair out for him and get him settled in if that makes him think
Starting point is 00:19:32 he's in control. But that look on Donald Trump's face said... That's a great shot there. I think he's in control. I'm in control here, buddy. Yeah, I'll slide your chair in for you. But you're in my house. It's just he's not being he's not being pushed around by Netanyahu. Donald Trump is too smart too wise to let somebody like Netanyahu get
Starting point is 00:20:01 him into a corner that he doesn't want to be in. And I at some point he's going to pull the chair out from under Netanyahu meaning He's going to announce the United States Is going to cut off aid to Israel Unless he gets a deal And he and that deals going to include Netany's got to leave as prime minister, right? But it'll be at the right time Now let's talk about the war In in Ukraine, I'll know before I get there I got one more
Starting point is 00:20:36 Middle East we got a couple here from Middle East the new US ambassador Mike Huckabee Who is a raving Zionist. And President Trump did throw a bone to the evangelical Zionists by giving them Mike Huckabee as the US ambassador. That made him very happy. Yes, he secured that block for sure. So there is Baptist preacher Mike Huckabee in Jerusalem, well in the imposter city, Jerusalem, because Jerusalem is beneath his feet.
Starting point is 00:21:14 Yes. And he's standing there at what, at an imposter wailing wall. Yes. All right. That's not the temple wall. And he's got a little piece of paper in his hand that he said President Trump wrote a prayer and told him, take this prayer and stick it in a crack and, you know, say a prayer for me for that we would get peace in the Middle East.
Starting point is 00:21:40 And so Ambassador Huckabee, I can't call him Governor Huckabee anymore, Ambassador Huckabee did it with great fanfare and was delighted to be the spokesman for Christian Zionism today and the United States government. And so Times of Israel says, Mike Huckabee visited the Western Wall in the old city of Jerusalem. Footage from the visit showed the pro-settler Republican. Notice that? This is Jerusalem, the times of Israel. The pro-settler Republican, okay, that means the pro-land thief Republican with a kippah on his head, tucking a note with a prayer on it into one of the crevices of the Jewish holy site, a remnant of the second temple. It's not the second temple. No. What is it, Doc?
Starting point is 00:22:30 It's a part of the Antonia fortress. That's what it's a part of. It has always been. But where is the temple? It's not part of the temple. Where's the temple? It's at least a half mile, three-quarter of a mile away, if you believe it. Is it standing there? There's no temple? It's at least a half mile, three quarter mile away. Is it standing there? There's no temple there. There's nothing there, why? Because Jesus overturned every rock there. That's right.
Starting point is 00:22:55 He said there's not gonna be one stone standing. And so that wall that they're at is actually a Roman wall that's been there since the time of Jesus and dedicated to Mark Anthony, the conqueror, Mark Anthony. So the wall that everybody's worshiping at is a wall dedicated to conquest and domination. And who did the Romans pray to? They prayed to Jupiter and Mars and all the gods.
Starting point is 00:23:23 And inside these fortresses they had special rooms for worship of these gods. And so even Josephus said that when the temple fell, before the temple fell, they brought in the incense and the banners from Antonio Fortress into the temple. And so that was proclaiming Jupiter and all the Roman gods. And so this is not the temple wall. Which was part of the abomination of desolation. That's right. So, you know, you see a lot of people put the little notes
Starting point is 00:24:02 in the wall, little prayer notes. What does that do? Well, I wanted to ask Ambassador Huckabee, he's a Baptist preacher. Right. Can you show me in the Bible what that does? What verse are you standing on, Governor, or Ambassador Huckabee?
Starting point is 00:24:19 What verse says a Christian should roll up a piece of paper and stick it in a crack in an old wall, and that's going to get a straight line to heaven? What verse is that? You won't find it. At least not in my Bible. And yet this is the weekend that we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, did you hear the name Jesus out of Mike Huckabee's mouth?
Starting point is 00:24:49 You won't hear it because of fear of the Jews. I mean that's the truth of it, right Rick? I don't know if, I think some of these people have secretly converted to Judaism. I think so too. So they don't talk about Jesus or some sort of mixture of Judaism and Christianity but it's not Christianity. We have a clip from Israel National News with the Ambassador Huckabee at the Western Wall and let's watch this you'll find out more here.
Starting point is 00:25:18 Great weather and I can't think of anything I'd rather do that on the very first day posted at this mission is to present a prayer from the president of the United States on behalf of the American people to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Amen. Amen. What an honor it is for me to come on behalf of the president of the United States, President Donald Trump, and to present a prayer that he handwrote, gave to me last Thursday in the White House, with the instruction that my first act as the ambassador would be to take his prayer, praying for the peace of
Starting point is 00:25:57 Jerusalem and to bring it to the wall and to pray that there would in fact be peace in the land. Doc, these people, these Christians, as it is a travel to Israel to stick a little piece of paper. And pray at the wall. Put their hands on the wall and pray. At the Western, what they call the Western Wall. You'd have better, you'd have better results if you went to the best western and prayed just go to the wall the best western I mean what are you doing yeah Jesus isn't
Starting point is 00:26:33 there right he's not there he's risen he sits at the right hand of God the Father by the way for just interesting side note here, all those pieces of paper that they stick in. Oh, they stay forever, right? No, no, no. They on a regular basis remove all those slips of paper and they combine them together and they go bury them in a hole over at the Mount of Olives Cemetery. They bury your prayer? They bury your prayer.
Starting point is 00:27:04 How long does it stay in the wall? It depends upon how busy it is. There's at least two times a year that they do it, but sometimes they have to do it multiple times because of how many people put little post-it notes to God. Well and that depends on whether it's an election year back in America because all the politicians show up to be photographed at this fake Western wall with their fake prayers to a God that's not Involved in any of this stuff My God doesn't pay attention to anybody praying to a wall. And by the way, there is nothing left of the temple. Nothing gone
Starting point is 00:27:43 Completely gone and there's nothing left of Jerusalem. Yes, that is not Jerusalem, but people are visiting What is it doc? It's a Roman city built on top of the ruins of Jerusalem. It was a Capulonia It was named after Hadrian's gay lover I'm sorry, but that's that's the truth. It really is. It really was. For real? Yeah, for his young teenage gay lover. Oh my. Yeah. I you know, that's the reality of it. You know, reality is a hard thing for a lot of people to deal with. And there'll be people whose minds are blowing up right now. What are you talking about? In that case, that's not true. Well, look it up. Look it up.
Starting point is 00:28:27 Yeah, proof is wrong. Read history books, folks. You'll learn a lot. Prove is wrong. You can read Jewish history and it'll prove us right. Read the works of Josephus. Yes. Ain't nobody left it in Jerusalem. They were slaughtered. City was destroyed. Okay, let's go to the war in Ukraine, Financial Times. Trump will abandon Ukraine peace talks in days without progress, warns Rubio. The top US diplomat has said that President Donald Trump will abandon
Starting point is 00:29:01 attempting to negotiate a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine within a matter of days Unless he sees clear signs a deal is possible Marco Rubio US Secretary of State said on Friday that Washington would not pursue the Ukraine talks for weeks or months and would focus on other priorities if there was no breakthrough we have a clip from Sky News of Secretary of State Rubio dropping this, what they call a bombshell that the U.S. may withdraw from the Russia-Ukraine peace talks. Let's watch.
Starting point is 00:29:36 I'm not going to tell you what the framework says because when you start negotiating these things through the media and so forth, they fall apart. And it's a broad framework. It's a framework that gets us into a position to see, look, there are going to be differences. No one's saying this can be done in 12 hours, but we want to see how far apart it is and whether those differences can even be narrowed, if it's even possible to get movement within the period of time we have in mind. So we've talked about outlines of both sides.
Starting point is 00:30:02 I thought we had positive meetings yesterday. Obviously, the Ukrainians have to go back home. They have to run it by their president. They have to take into account, you know, their views on all of this. And we hope to hear back from them very soon. But we need to figure out here now within a matter of days whether this is doable in the short term, because if it's not, then I think we're just going to move on. Now, these contrasting statements from U.S. officials follow a daylong meeting in Paris on Thursday hosted by French President Macron that was attended by the U.S. delegation, including Rubio and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, alongside officials from Ukraine, the U.K., and Germany.
Starting point is 00:30:41 So what we're needing to do right now, is this a negotiation tactic tactic that's in place or are they serious about this to pull out completely? Donald Trump commented on this in the Oval Office earlier today. Let's watch this. It's a vicious battle with the best equipment, the best everything, and it is brutal. 2,500 young people a week, some of them not so young actually, they're getting older, they're getting older by the month. But 2,500 a week and we're going to get it stopped ideally. Now, if for some reason one of the two parties makes it very difficult, we're just going to say,
Starting point is 00:31:21 you're foolish, you're fools, you're horrible people, and we're going to just take a pass. But hopefully, you're fools, you're horrible people, and we're going to just take a pass, but hopefully we won't have to do that. If one of the two parties, is it Russia or Ukraine? That's the question. Because both the United States and Russia have talked in positive terms about each other. And Ukraine just signed the mineral deal with the US. Well, that's what the headline...
Starting point is 00:31:51 That's what the headline says. The headline says it. So we'll drop down to number 15, Financial Times, US and Ukraine, Doc, they sign a memorandum of intent. Not the deal itself. Nope. How many times have we signed this deal? Haven't we signed it several times? Hasn't Zelinsky signed the deal multiple times? So now we're not signing a deal, we're signing a memorandum of intent to sign a deal.
Starting point is 00:32:28 What does that mean? It means all you're agreeing to is that you're going to talk about signing a deal. So it's not really a deal deal yet. So I think when President Trump says if one party is difficult to work with, we're just going to take a walk. I think he's talking about Ukraine, and if it is Ukraine, they better watch out because President Trump may just enter into an agreement with Russia and say, do whatever you want to do with Ukraine, we're going to do business with Russia, you do what you want to do with
Starting point is 00:33:02 Ukraine. And you might tell NATO, we're out. We're done. We're done with it. We're finished with all this stuff. I'm going to take care of my country. You guys do what you want to do. But I'm making peace with Russia. And they've got minerals that we need.
Starting point is 00:33:23 And we've got things they need, and this war is stupid. So Financial Times in London, remember this is the Rothschild paper, Kiev and Washington have signed a memorandum of intent pledging to advance an agreement on an investment fund for Ukraine's natural resources and energy assets.
Starting point is 00:33:49 The officials who spoke to the Times said the memorandum had been signed virtually. That means there ain't no ink on this thing. And they hope to finalize the full economic accord as early as the end of next week. This is why President Trump and Marco Rubio are saying, we're ready to walk. OK. If Zelensky does another one of these little baby tantrums, they're going to walk.
Starting point is 00:34:20 So this was announced by the first vice prime minister, an economic minister of Ukraine. And she said, quote, today we took a step towards a joint economic partnership agreement with the United States. She said the memorandum testifies to the constructive joint work of our teams and the intention to finalize and conclude an agreement that will be beneficial to both our people. Yes, she went on to say that the full agreement would open up opportunities for significant investment, modernization of infrastructure, and mutually beneficial partnership between
Starting point is 00:34:54 Ukraine and the U.S. And according to Ukrainian officials, Rick, the move signals positive steps forward and puts challenging talks back on track. And yet we have the comments from both Marco Rubio and Donald Trump about, hey, if you're clogging up the works, we'll walk. And I, the more I think about it, the more I am inclined to believe they're talking to Zelensky. And the reason why that could be the case is we if we look at this article from Bloomberg, it's number 14 for control. The U.S. is offering to ease sanctions on Russia in order to obtain that Ukraine peace
Starting point is 00:35:34 proposal. The U.S. presented allies with proposals to enable a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine, including an outline of terms to end the fighting and ease sanctions on Moscow in the event of a lasting ceasefire. Now, the contours of the U.S. plan will share during meetings in Paris Thursday, according to European officials familiar with the matter. So this proposal that's on the table right now would effectively freeze the war, with Ukrainian territories now occupied by Russia remaining under Moscow's control. Kiev's aspirations of joining NATO would also be off the table. In other words, those are the two objectives that Russia was seeking
Starting point is 00:36:16 from the very beginning. So effectively Russia won the war. Yes. But really it's the US that's winning the war in the long term, isn't it? If everything goes through. If we get a peace agreement between Russia and the United States, then the winners are the Russian and American peoples. Right. Because we're not going to go to war with each other, thank God. And we'll be prosperous friends. Wouldn't it be great, Doc, for the next 50 years that the Russians and the Americans are the best allies? We should be.
Starting point is 00:37:01 Yes. We really should be. Why are we enemies? Why are we enemies? Why are we enemies in the first place? I have a theory, but I think the theory goes back to the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917. The communist Jews took over Christian Russia, slaughtered millions of Christians, killed tens of thousands of Russian Orthodox priests, turned Christian Russia into a godless atheist state, and after 70 years, the Russian people threw off the godless communism of the Jews and returned to their Orthodox Christian roots, and I believe that the Jews that had conquered, let's say the
Starting point is 00:37:50 descendants of the Jews that had conquered Russia, are bitter and furious that the Russian people got out of their slavery and went back to Christ. And I think they're determined to destroy them. And Donald Trump has interrupted that plan. Now, one aspect of this plan is easing those sanctions that we talked about. It's something we can obviously ease the sanctions on our side, but how do you-
Starting point is 00:38:18 You can't do anything about Europe. That's right. So that's why Marco Rubio was in Paris yesterday talking to them about that. Do you see them stopping up the plumbing on this, Rick? Yes. Yes. But I think reality is hitting Mr. Starmor and Mr. Macron as the Americans are telling them. Do you understand that when we pull out, you guys are in this all by yourselves? Because they couldn't get their army together. Remember, they were going to put 30,000, 100,000
Starting point is 00:38:51 EU troops in Ukraine. That's all gone. That didn't last two weeks. Yes. They've already stopped talking about it. But I think Mr. Trump is probably, because he's a great businessman, he's probably waving a carrot in the eyes of Britain and France and Germany saying, hey, you know, we're going to make so much money with these minerals, we could cut you in on some of this. And I think that's what he's going to do. I think he's going to offer them something, and they're going to realize, hey, we would be better off to be friends with Russia than to plan on a war in 2030. Right. So where it stands right now, we could
Starting point is 00:39:36 walk away in a few days or we may be on the verge of the biggest deal in history. So Doc, if he negotiated a deal between NATO and Russia. Well, remember, Russia wanted to join NATO at one point. So if he gets a deal between, and that was Vladimir Putin 20 years ago. That's right. Bill Clinton and that gang is who turned it down. But if he would get a deal between NATO and Russia, now you don't have to fund NATO anymore. Or NATO is downsized, and it becomes strictly a defensive military alliance, which is what
Starting point is 00:40:18 it was supposed to be, defensive, not offensive. I'm prepared for anything, but at the same time, I'm also prepared that the United States is going to war with China in the 2030s. And that I believe is certain. I don't see any chance that we're going to get out of that war. And you would think that that has to come up in conversations in settling things with Russia, saying, look, we're five to ten years out into a global conflict with Communist China. Yes. Which side are you going to be on at that point? So one other story here about Russia and Ukraine, the Russian Orthodox Church
Starting point is 00:41:02 says mass police interrogations of Orthodox Church clergy taking place in the country of Moldova. Yes, now this is reminiscent of what actually happened in Ukraine as well, because if you recall, before they basically banned the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine, they started arresting and jailing Orthodox clergy in Ukraine. So Doc, here we are at Resurrection Weekend, and in the country of Moldova, Christian pastors
Starting point is 00:41:34 are being rounded up by the police and taken to police stations to be interrogated. Our brethren are being persecuted. The Russian Orthodox Church pastors are my brothers. They're in a different church, but it's the church. We're all part of the church, the church, the church of God, the church of Jesus Christ. And if a pastor in some church has been arrested and being interrogated, then we're all being interrogated. Thank God the pastor in South Africa was rescued. The one we talked about a couple days ago. There was a shootout. The South African police went in and they found him, and there was a shootout with the kidnappers, but he was rescued. Praise God.
Starting point is 00:42:28 10,000 pages of classified Robert F. Kennedy assassination documents released by the Trump administration today. I have not yet seen any major discoveries in it. No, I haven't seen much chatter online about it today either. Well, here it is. It's a holiday weekend. Right. Yeah, a lot of people have already left DC.
Starting point is 00:42:55 Nobody's going to look at this until next week. Right. President Trump appointed another Fox News host, Mark Levin, to a Homeland Security Advisory Council. That's right, Rick. And President Trump had this to say on True Social about it. He said, I'm proud to announce the formation of my revamped Homeland Security Advisory
Starting point is 00:43:18 Council, which is comprised of top experts in their field who are highly respected by their peers. It's a big honor to serve on HSAC, and I know the new members, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, Mark Levin, Bo Diddle, and Joseph Gruters will do an incredible job. Under Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem's leadership, HSAC will work hard
Starting point is 00:43:41 on developing new policies and strategies that will help us secure our border, deport illegal criminal thugs, stop the flow of fentanyl and other illegal drugs that are killing our citizens and make America safe again. Congratulations to all. There's one aspect I think the president left out there is that I think it's part of an effort to crack down on anti-Semitism. That's why two of these members have been very vocal, including Mark Levin, about anti-Semitism. And so, that's my opinion only.
Starting point is 00:44:16 No, I think you're very accurate, Doc. Another thing about Mark Levin, I like Mark Levin on probably 90% of the things he says, he is a raving Zionist. And recently he's been criticizing President Trump about Ukraine, about getting too cozy with the Russians. So you think this may be a strategy to bring him into the fold? Yes. Here, Mark, you've got a seat on a board. That's Machiavellian.
Starting point is 00:44:46 That's an evil doc? Evil docs all for it, but I'm just like going, oh my, again. But it works, doesn't it? Yes. It works. All right, let's talk about the family man from Maryland that was accidentally deported to El Salvador, if you listen to the news media and the Democrats, Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Well now Fox News is reporting he was suspected of human trafficking.
Starting point is 00:45:17 Yes, this is a story developing today on Fox News, Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Kilmar, that should give you a clue right there, who was recently deported to El Salvador, was suspected of partaking in labor and human trafficking, according to a 2022 Homeland Security Investigation Report obtained by Fox News. Now this report also stated that official law enforcement investigations revealed that Obrego-Garcia was a member of the notorious gang, MS-13.
Starting point is 00:45:49 According to the report, on December 1st, 2022, a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper stopped Garcia after he was observed speeding and unable to stay in his lane. The trooper noticed eight individuals in the car with Abrego Garcia, well, as a packed car, who said he began driving three days prior from Houston, Texas to Temple Garcia, well, it was a packed car, who said he began driving three days prior from Houston, Texas to Temple Hills, Maryland,
Starting point is 00:46:08 via St. Louis, Missouri to perform construction work. Well, the report states that the trooper suspected it was a human trafficking incident as there was no luggage in the vehicle. Additionally, the individuals in the car reportedly gave the same address as Obrigocia's home address. The HSI report also notes that in October 2019, the Prince George's County Police Gang Unit identified Obregó-Garcia as a member of the notorious Marçalvú Truca or MS-13 gang.
Starting point is 00:46:41 Obregó-Garcia is an MS-13 gang member, illegal alien from El Salvador, and suspected human trafficker. The facts reveal he was pulled over with eight individuals in a car on an admitted three-day journey from Texas to Maryland with no luggage. That's coming from Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, Trisha McLaughlin, speaking to Fox News. Now, it was also revealed recently that Obrigo Garcia has a record of being a violent, being a repeat wife beater,
Starting point is 00:47:12 and violent one at that, according to court records filed in Prince George's County, Maryland, by his wife, Jennifer Vasquez. Yes, the very same one that's been on every leftist news channel out there crying those tears to get her wife beat her husband back home. In the 2021 filing written in Vasquez's own handwriting,
Starting point is 00:47:30 she alleges that Ibriga Garcia repeatedly beat her, writing, at this point, I'm afraid to be close to him. I have multiple photos and videos of how violent he could be and all the bruises he has left me. And Rick, in spite of all of this, in spite of this, this guy's been driving around the country, it doesn't say he was arrested. No.
Starting point is 00:47:52 When they'd stopped him for speeding or anything like that, did he have ID on him? Did he get a ticket for speeding? He was, did he get a ticket for, you know, he was crossing lanes. If I got stopped, I would get a ticket. But why doesn't he? The state trooper suspected that he had a case
Starting point is 00:48:13 of human trafficking and let him go. Yeah, just let him go. Eight people in a car. So Maryland US Senator Chris Van Hollen went to El Salvador begging and pleading to meet with this MS-13 gang member who the News Media in America says is a wonderful dad. He's a wonderful father, a Maryland man. Who was mistakenly deported to an El Salvador prison. So after his little pouty fits in El Salvador, the El Salvador government finally allowed Senator Chris Van Hollen to meet with this gang member.
Starting point is 00:48:56 He got his photo op. There it is. They're meeting with one another. The senator posted on X as well about this meeting. I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I've called his wife Jennifer to pass along his message of love.
Starting point is 00:49:14 I look forward to providing a full update on my return. But of course, President Trump had a different view on this. President Trump said on true social, Senator Chris Van Holl, calling to Maryland, looked like a fool yesterday, standing in El Salvador, begging for attention from the fake news media or anyone. Grandstander. Which is the voters need to remember
Starting point is 00:49:37 when they go to the next election in 2026. Yes. That President Trump was rounding up violent gang members and deporting them. And the Democrats were fighting with everything they had to bring them home. Bring them back to, not home. His home is in El Salvador.
Starting point is 00:49:52 In El Salvador, yes. But to bring them back here and release them on the streets. Now, on the White House's ex-account today, they also had, and this is the actual official White House account here. So they took a screenshot of the New York Times headline about this meeting and then they corrected it. So the original headline was, Senator meets with wrongly deported Maryland man in El Salvador,
Starting point is 00:50:15 and they corrected it. Senator meets with MS-13 illegal alien deported to El Salvador who's never coming back. That's right. He's not a Maryland man. who's never coming back. That's right, he's not a Maryland man. He's not an American. He's an El Salvador man. Who's living illegally in the state of Maryland and a member of MS-13. Right. And the Democratic Party in the news media are treating him like he's a hero. Now, Doc, I did find a photo today, Senator Van Hollen, this is him as he came back from El Salvador. This is the new Senator Van Hollen.
Starting point is 00:50:54 So he became an honorary MS-13 gay member. Yes, he's an honorary member now. Will be going into the Senate on Monday, showing off his tattoos. And I'm sure John Fetterman and him will get along fine. Wall Street Journal, President Trump demands Harvard's foreign funding records. Oh my, Doc, when you read this article. Yes, this has got some teeth in it.
Starting point is 00:51:22 And so the Trump administration is pressing Harvard University to turn over records on the money it receives from foreign sources going back a decade, the latest in a growing pressure campaign against the nation's most prominent university. American universities get billions of dollars in grants, of course, contracts or gifts from foreign sources, which they must report semi-annually to the government.
Starting point is 00:51:46 In a Thursday letter to Harvard President Alan Garber, the U.S. Department of Education's Office of the General Counsel wrote that Harvard made incomplete and inaccurate disclosures between at least 2014 and 2019. Today's records request is the Trump administration's first step to ensure Harvard is not being manipulated by or doing the bidding of foreign entities. And that's coming from US Secretary of Education Linda McMahon. The letter to Harvard presented no evidence that this was occurring, according to the Journal. Federal law requires universities to report donations
Starting point is 00:52:25 from foreign sources of more than $250,000. Harvard's in the target here. Doc, these universities are getting billions of dollars from foreign governments. Right. Billions. We know that the University of Pennsylvania alone received billions of dollars.
Starting point is 00:52:45 And some of that was filtered to the Joe Biden School for basket weaving or whatever. Well, they had some library there, some institute there on the campus. And it was financed with Chinese money. So President Trump's administration is also threatening to remove the tax-exempt status of Harvard.
Starting point is 00:53:05 Right. And if you recall, during the campaign, he threatened to claw back their endowments. Yes. That's a big deal. And use it to fund the American Academy, which would give free college education to any American. Now, give you some idea for our audience.
Starting point is 00:53:22 Right now, the Harvard University, their fund is sitting right now today at $53 billion. $53 billion. And I'm telling you right now, they could offer free education to people. But of course, who would want a Harvard education in this day and age? But the fact of the matter is they have a $50-plus billion
Starting point is 00:53:47 dollar endowment, Rick. They really don't need any money from the government or foreign sources. That's right. But why are foreign governments so eager to get money to Harvard? Well, for influence. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:01 Yes, because the graduates end up going into corporate positions and government. Yes, and they'll think to themselves, boy, thank goodness for that Chinese money to help get me an education. That's right. I got a story on the terror of South China Morning Post. Elon Musk's Tesla can't make optimist robots for $20,000 without China, says a humanoid expert.
Starting point is 00:54:29 OK, well, so the South China Morning Post is reporting here that the rolling billows of the escalating trade war between China and the US are now lapping at the shores of the emergent humanoid robotics industry, threatening to derail Elon Musk's Tesla's bold vision of mass producing its Optimus robot, the company's ambitious goal of keeping the robot's production price at $20,000 could be unattainable without access to China's vast and cost-efficient supply chain,
Starting point is 00:55:01 analysts warn. In a quote from the article, Tesla's mass production plan for Optimus is likely to be put on hold. That's come from Zhu Zhuqing, lead scientist of the Zhejiang Humanoid Robot Innovation Center in Ningbo. He said that many core components of humanoid robots developed by companies such as Tesla and Figure, including exteriors, actuators, joints, and ball screws. Those are all sourced heavily from suppliers in China. So Doc, what do we have here? China's going to be far ahead in building humanoid robots and the Americans are going to be far behind. Right. Which I wish both of them were far behind.
Starting point is 00:55:47 But China, in this case, will have the advantage because they've got the parts, they've got the materials, they've got the labor. It's all in China. Whereas the American robot manufacturers have to depend on China for many of these parts. I didn't know that the production cost of a humanoid robot was only $20,000. Yes, that's what Donald Trump, excuse me, Elon Musk came out late in 2024 saying the price
Starting point is 00:56:17 point would be between $20,000 and $22,000. So what's the projected retail price? I'm not sure. So, but you would think they'd be at least. 40, 50,000? Probably. So. So for 50 grand, I could have me a robot?
Starting point is 00:56:35 There you go. So they're already showing up in Tesla showrooms. Not fully functional ones, but they're already showing up in Tesla showrooms right now. The reason why I know that is because people have been going in and attacking the robots in the Tesla stores. Throwing paint on them or scratching them and stuff. Alright so Doc somebody sent me a video last night on my phone so a friend of mine sent it to me about the blue Origin launch you know Jeff Bezos, he sent his girlfriend
Starting point is 00:57:06 and a bunch of other women up in space. That's what we were told. The whole thing looked very hokey to me. So much of this stuff, I don't even talk about it anymore. It's like it looked as real as the current Alex Jones. And our email address is info. I don't even talk about it anymore. Right now this is at least the third Alex Jones actor I've seen in my 20-some years.
Starting point is 00:57:43 If you want to believe he's Alex Jones, go ahead and believe it. If you want to believe this spaceship went up and landed and these women got out, you go ahead and believe it. I have other things to do. Right. But somebody sent this video to me and I believe the man is, if I recall, he's French. Yes. And we've got English captions on. The doc's going to read them aloud. But this man's got some interesting points. Fascinating, interesting insights and points
Starting point is 00:58:14 about this so-called space launch. Let's watch it. We all know the images are CGI. There's no debate left. Just look at those graphics. But the best part is when the actresses open the fake door too early and are told to shut it quickly, then Bezos shows up with his metal lever to open the door. But they had opened it previously, Rick, pretending to open a hatch that's already opened. It's a joke.
Starting point is 00:58:46 But above all, it's a ritual. They go up in a phallus and return in a uterus? The Cosmic Egg? It's not a flight, it's a rebirth, like Beyonce's tour. Because feminist celebrities are here to celebrate the new androgynous race. An artificial ascension followed by a return into a technological womb because of occultism. Everything is inverted, so I really feel connected to that strong, divine, feminine energy. The sacred feminine is replaced by a synthetic figure,
Starting point is 00:59:20 androgynous, robotic. It's all over pop culture. The highest high. Katy Perry isn't talking about space. It's the climax of the ritual. An offering for their synthetic god. Look at their patch, an inverted baphomet. Everything is coded. And who started the circus Jack Parsons scientists
Starting point is 00:59:50 and Satanists he's the one who gave rockets their phallic shape you'll never go to space but you'll fornicate in a digital prison we like that guy should do the French version of True News. Well, my job's available in a couple weeks. He can have it, okay? I'm just going to be teaching the Word of God, because what he's saying is... He's right. This thing...these are Satanists. They're Satanists that are running this world. This is Satan's world. And they're doing this at Resurrection Weekend. A rebirth.
Starting point is 01:00:34 Yes. So you can't miss out on that. And I know a couple of them are making a big deal. We're astronauts. We went to outer space, you didn't go to outer space, you did not, you didn't wear a spacesuit or anything like that, you certainly didn't go to outer space, you are astronauts, you're not astronauts. Astronuts? Yeah, astronauts might be a better, appropriate one. But the the patch thing is what got me, Rick, when I saw the video last night. When I saw the patch, I was like, oh, I didn't notice that before. And so there's a lot of questions about that launch this week.
Starting point is 01:01:12 So what has Jeff Bezos evolved in? Probably a lot, a lot. There's no, it's no accident the way they do these things. And the one thing that really caught everyone's attention was when these astronauts opened the door from the inside before Jeff Bezos had a chance to open it. Yes, that was the, that's kind of like- That was a big giveaway right there.
Starting point is 01:01:40 That was like the moon flag waving. Yes, like wind blowing on the moon. One more headline, Newsweek. Trump administration declares China lab leak the true origins of COVID. So now that's it's official now. Yes. It's no longer a conspiracy theory, it is official. So they canceled us off of YouTube in 2020, Rick, after we did an episode about China and the lab leak. Yes and we got we got punished by Facebook and X and back then was Twitter, you know, I lost track of who you know, there were
Starting point is 01:02:18 Newspapers and magazines that had headlines about in fact Newsweek was one one of them, that had big headlines about me. The conspiracy theories I was spreading about COVID. Okay, well now it's the official policy of the US government. That's right. They came from China. Okay, we're gonna end with three uplifting, encouraging videos that are gonna bless you.
Starting point is 01:02:44 This is Resurrection Week and Sunday. We Christians all over the world will be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And I found three videos from the White House of Christians in the White House celebrating, worshiping Jesus Christ today. So let's start, there's three separate videos. Let's watch them one at a time.
Starting point is 01:03:12 Here's the first one. The sound that saved a wretch like me was once, but now I'm found. It's encouraging. It's encouraging. Something's happening in the country or something good. Next one, Liberty University singers from Virginia, from Lynchburg, Virginia at the White House. I still when striving cease, my comforter, my all in all, here in the love of Christ I stand. Praise God.
Starting point is 01:04:58 These are good things that are happening. One more. Worshippers outside the president's Oval Office. Yes, in his conference room. So watch this. I am not opposed to people singing Christian hymns. No, especially in the White House. This is encouraging. I saw a video today, Pastor Greg Laurie was outside, outside the gate.
Starting point is 01:05:50 He couldn't get in, Doc. Somehow or other, his name had been left off the list, and he was the guy who was gonna be leading the prayer that day. I know. But they managed to get him in. Did they get him in? I never checked later to see if he got in.
Starting point is 01:06:01 But you know, I hardly recognized Greg Laurie. He was in a suit with a tie. I know, I know. And I was like, is that Greg Laurie? And because I'd never seen him dressed like that before. But yes, he was there, a number of faith leaders, of course, and so. I'm glad.
Starting point is 01:06:17 But you know, if there's any hope, if there's any hope for the future of this nation, it's us, Man, let's worship the Lord. Amen. Because I know the worship of the Lord will change hearts and change minds. We are celebrating the resurrection of Christ this weekend, Sunday. What does it mean? What does it mean? What does it mean? Why is it important? The Son of God left heaven, came to earth, walked away from everything in heaven, the
Starting point is 01:06:54 Son of God, who was with the Ancient of Days from the beginning, forever, not from the beginning, forever. There is no beginning his father loved you and me the human race so much this father said I've got a plan to get back the humans to get them back from Satan. I got a plan. Let me whisper it to you in your ear. And the Lord Jesus, you know I'm adding to this story, you know, it says the Lord Jesus said, send me, send me. Suddenly Jesus Christ left heaven, his robe, his scepter, his crown fell to the floor of heaven and within a split second he was a human embryo inside Mary.
Starting point is 01:07:54 A woman that he had made. He's in the womb of a woman he made. He's a little embryo, but he's God. He was all God. Yes. He was born, lived a sinless life, and he was crucified for our sins. Our sins were put on him. All of our sins, past, present, future, all of our sins of the entire human race were
Starting point is 01:08:20 put on him. And his father in heaven had to look away because of the grotesque appearance he'd become sin. He died, he descended to the place of the dead, he took the keys of hell and death from Satan, he raised himself from the dead, raised himself from the dead. Yes. from the dead, raised himself from the dead. Yes. Walked upon the earth for 40 days, meeting with the apostles, ascended up to heaven, took his seat at the right hand of his father, is making intercession, this very moment for you and me, and the entire body of Christ worldwide, and he's coming back in glory for his
Starting point is 01:09:07 church and he will establish his kingdom that shall have no end this earth will burn up the universe will burn up there will be a new universe a new earth and new Jerusalem shall come down from heaven and God, the Son and the Holy Spirit and all the angels will be with that New Jerusalem and we will live with our Heavenly Father forever. There will be no devil, no death, no sickness, no war, no hate, no pain. That's what we're celebrating this weekend because God loves you that much, that He was willing to sacrifice His Son on a cross. Don't forget it.
Starting point is 01:09:55 Put your faith in what Jesus did for you. Put your faith in what He did for you on the cross. That's what will save you, your faith in what He did for you on the cross. Amen. That's what will save you. Your faith in what He did for you on the cross. And if you believe in His name and you're baptized, you shall be saved. And I'm praying right now. There are people that are the Holy Spirit is working on you right now. Yes. You feel something happening in your body and you're as you feel warm.
Starting point is 01:10:23 There's something happening. It's the Holy Spirit saying, surrender to God now, surrender. Just do it. Surrender and say, I believe. I repent of my sins and I believe in Jesus Christ. Save my soul. We love you very much.
Starting point is 01:10:40 Thank you so much for the warm, encouraging, supportive response to my letter and email. God bless you. Thank you. I feel liberated. I'm very excited about the new direction for this ministry, and we'll talk about it more in the coming days. Take care.

And I would like to see all of us have Faith Saturdays and Faith Sundays and Faith Mondays. We should live every day in faith, faith in the Word of God, faith in our King Jesus, faith in the promises of God. So also today, Friday is the day that we have the Lord's Supper. So we will have Holy Communion later today
Starting point is 01:13:08 and it's an appropriate day. Today's Good Friday and Sunday is Resurrection Day. And we need to keep this in mind today. And I think you're gonna see it in this lesson today. So I'm gonna pray and then Doc Burkhart is gonna read the Word of God. And Doc, we're gonna read from the second chapter of the gospel according to St. Mark.
Starting point is 01:13:36 Okay. Verses one through 12. Mark two, verses one through 12. Let's pray. Almighty God, our heavenly Father, Father, we love you and worship you and praise you. Father, we glorify you, magnify your wonderful name. Father, we pause this day, this Good Friday, to remember what you did for us, that you gave your only begotten son, that he was crucified,
Starting point is 01:14:12 that he died, that he descended to the place of the dead. But glory to God, he was raised from the dead, and he ascended to heaven. and He is seated this very moment beside you interceding for all of us who are in the church and He's coming back in glory to gather us unto Him to live with you Father forever. We rejoice in this knowledge and in this promise. And so Father, we gather here today
Starting point is 01:14:47 to be taught by your Holy Spirit principles of faith, make us strong faith warriors, Father, in Jesus' name, amen. Amen, amen. And good morning, no matter where you are in the world today from Russia to Malaysia to Brazil to the Philippines and Japan. Welcome everybody around the world and across the US and Canada to Morning Manna. Today is Faith Friday where we are encouraging your walk of faith here throughout the year 2025. And so if you have your Bibles please turn to Mark
Starting point is 01:15:21 chapter 2, Mark chapter 2 and we'll be reading verses 1 through 12. Mark chapter 2, verses 1 through 12. And at the end of our lesson today, as Rick mentioned earlier, we'll be having the Lord's Supper together as well. So be prepared for that and thinking about that as we proceed here in studying the Word and being encouraged by faith today. Mark chapter two, verses one through 12, reading from the King James,
Starting point is 01:15:50 and again he entered into Capernaum after some days, and it was noised that he was in the house. Straightway many were gathered together in so much that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door. And he preached the word unto them, I like door and he preached the word unto them I like that he preached the word unto them and they come unto him bringing one sick of the palsy which was born of four and when they could not come nigh unto him
Starting point is 01:16:15 for the press they uncovered the roof where he was and when they had broken it up they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, son, thy sins be forgiven thee. But there were certain of the scribes sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, why does this man speak blasphemies?
Starting point is 01:16:41 Who can forgive sins, but God only? And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said to them, why reason ye these things in your hearts? Whether it is easier to say to the sick of the palsy, thy sins be forgiven thee, or to say arise, take up thy bed and walk.
Starting point is 01:17:03 But that you may know that the son of Man hath power on earth to forgive sins. He said to the sick of the palsy, I say unto thee, arise, take up thy bed and go thy way into thine house. And immediately, immediately, immediately it says he arose, took up the bed and went forth before them all, insomuch they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. God bless the reading of His word today. Praise God. Verse 1, And again he entered into Capernaum after some days
Starting point is 01:17:45 and it was noise that he was in the house. Capernaum, a commercial hub, a trading hub, a fishing hub, a shipping port hub on the Sea of Galilee, was for a time being, it was Jesus's home city. He didn't move back to Nazareth. He didn't go to Bethlehem, he went to Capernaum. And so people were familiar with him. I mean, you could walk into a cafe, there'd be Jesus.
Starting point is 01:18:32 Yes. Imagine that. Imagine going down to a cafe and Jesus is sitting there. It was his hometown. And so he was well known. People knew he was a teacher. They knew he was a healer. And Capernaum was a very busy seaport town.
Starting point is 01:18:57 So it says that after some days, so to me that implies he's he's been gone for a while. Yeah he was out teaching and preaching and healing. That's right. He went out on a on a on a planned trip. He went to certain cities. And regions and he taught the people, he preached to them, he taught them and he healed the sick. And then when he was finished with that tour, he went back home for some R&R. So he and a group of disciples returned to Capernaum after some days. So
Starting point is 01:19:54 it says he was, well that there was noise and it was noise. That means there was a buzz in the city. There was talk on the street. Yes. People were saying, hey, did you hear Jesus is back in town? Yes. I heard some stories about things he did. Where's he at?
Starting point is 01:20:24 He's over at the house. Right. Well, you know, the stories were going around, things that he did during that trip on his Galilee tour. You know, if there were posters, it would have said the Jesus tour of Galilee, the Galilee tour appearing in these towns. That's the way they do it today, wouldn't they? Yes, and there's nothing wrong with that. But if he were here today, he would have those posters. He'd have social media. He'd do everything he had to do to get a crowd
Starting point is 01:20:57 in whatever towns he was going to. But the point here is that the people were talking. There was this buzz. There was a lot of chatter at workplaces, on street corners, at the shops, in the cafes. People were hearing rumors about miracles that took place. Right. And so it's described here, Mark describes it as a noise and it was noised that he was in the house. One thing's for sure, when Jesus shows up, there's going to be noise.
Starting point is 01:21:37 Yes. And when he returns, there's gonna be a lot of noise, isn't there? You better believe it. It makes a noise. It's going to believe it. He makes a lot of noise. Read my book Final Day. I wrote a whole chapter on his second coming shall be noisy. There's a lot of noise when he comes back. He doesn't uh he's not intentionally doing it just happens. Right. Wherever he goes there's commotion
Starting point is 01:22:06 there's activity and it says that he was in the house we've got Jesus in the house ladies and gentlemen Jesus Christ is in the house. Right? So it doesn't say he was in a house. But the house. That implies he had a home base. He had a house, whether it was his house or maybe Peter's house. It was somebody's house that served as the home base. You know, a lot of Christians never think about that Jesus had, he had places to go. He didn't outside on on the ground all the time. I mean sometimes he was over with Lazarus and Mary and Martha. Imagine Jesus stretched out on your sofa taking a nap
Starting point is 01:23:20 on afternoon. He had places to go to relax where he could be himself. What's it like to be yourself when you're the son of God? What's that like? I just want to be myself. Well, yourself is pretty awesome. Miracles happen wherever you go. So he was in the house, meaning there was a, there was a, he was settled into a familiar place. Right. And people, people knew the address of that house. And it was difficult for Jesus to get any, have any privacy, have any private time because there was always a tour bus. You know, they were, the tourists were coming by and this is the house in Capernaum where Jesus hangs out. He's, he's in, we've heard rumors he's in there right now. Hangs out. He's he's it we've heard rumors. He's in there right now
Starting point is 01:24:29 You know if they had a double-decker tour bus I can just see the people on the on the upper level and Listening to the driver with the the microphone and speaker Let's just park here and see if he comes outside. Okay. Of course I'm exaggerating, but you get the idea. People, crowds, there'd be crowds in front of the house. Right. Just out of curiosity.
Starting point is 01:25:04 He was the most famous person in the city. When it says he was at home, he was in the house, at home. At home implies relaxed, approachable. When you're at home, I mean that implies, you know, hey, if Doc's at home, that implies I can go knock on his door and he'll get me a glass of iced tea and we can sit down and talk. He's at home. So I'm trying to paint the picture of what we have here. A cozy home, yet it's crowded because there's all these, there's several people living in
Starting point is 01:25:57 the house. There's a crowd gathering around. Jesus is always teaching people and there are, you know, there are onlookers, there are people who are intently listening to what he's saying, but there's also people who just, you know, they're just nosy. They just want to see it out of curiosity. They want to, they want to be there. Uh, so now we get down to verse two. And straightway, many were gathered together in so much that there was no room to receive them. No, not so much as about the door and he preached the word unto them. as about the door and he preached the word unto them. It was a packed house.
Starting point is 01:26:52 Right away. Not not over time. Soon as he got there, through his duffel bag in his room, took his sandals off, found his comfortable chair, just started sipping a cup of tea. Right away, a big crowd gathered. The people gathered quickly. They flocked to the house. Word was on the street. Jesus is in town. He's down at the house. And so what do you do when you have a packed house, Rick? Well, you preach the word. If you're a preacher, you're like, I got a crowd. Let's go. That's right. You got a packed house.
Starting point is 01:27:48 house. You know, a lot of people think this is Peter's house. It could be. Right. And the reason why is Mark, of course, is Mark's gospel, and he was associated with Peter. He probably helped Peter write 1st and 2nd Peter. That's the scholarly view. But there's an article in verse 1, when I say an article, I don't mean a magazine article, but when it says, he was in the house, it didn't say a house or some house, it said the house. As if Mark is writing and saying to the reader, you know what house I'm talking about. Precisely. Okay. It could be a house that maybe Jesus owned, but tradition has it that it was Peter's house.
Starting point is 01:28:35 And that's why everybody in the city knew where the house was located. Right. You go down this street, make a left, walk three blocks, make a right, you get to the house. Yeah, you know, you know the one I'm talking about the house. Right.
Starting point is 01:28:51 Oh, yeah, that one. Yeah. The little brick house on the corner. That's where he lives. When he's in town, he always goes there. So right away, immediately, word got out on the street. There was a noise in the city, buzz on the street. Jesus is down at the house.
Starting point is 01:29:14 A big crowd gathered. So they flocked around the house, in the house. The house was so full. There was no room, not even by the door. People were, people were, they had filled up the doorway. You know how it is, people are like standing up, up on their tiptoes and trying to see above the person who's standing in front of them.
Starting point is 01:29:47 That's what, that's what was happening there. There were people outside trying to get a look. I want to see Jesus in there. There's something magnetic about Jesus. I he he draws a crowd. He draws a crowd of people who love him. He draws a crowd of people who are curious about him, and he draws the people who hate him. But he still draws people. He packs the house. With both those that are seeking him and those who seek to disparage him. Isn't that interesting? And Jesus, he still does that today, doesn't he? When Jesus shows up, he either draws people to him, he said, I would draw all men unto me, but he also draws the attention of the wicked as well.
Starting point is 01:30:41 Yes, and the curiosity seekers. Right. And that's okay, you want the curiosity seekers to come because they're open. They're up for grabs. The wicked now, that's a different case. They've already made their decision. But when, when his spirit, when the Holy Spirit shows up in a church in any meeting, it doesn't have to be in a building, it's where the Spirit of God shows up, a crowd will appear. Why? There's three things going on. The preaching of the Word, the teaching of the Word, and the healing of the sick.
Starting point is 01:31:29 Those three are throughout the gospel. Preaching, teaching, healing, they go together. Jesus wasn't like, well, today's a preaching day. Next month I'm doing teachings and in three months from now I've got a day set aside for healing. Now wherever he went, wherever he had a crowd, there's preaching, teaching, healing. The preaching is for those who've already made a decision in his favor. Right. The miracles are for both the curiosity seekers and the enemies.
Starting point is 01:32:13 Because the enemies don't know what to do with it. Right. And the miracles are for both the curiosity seekers and the enemies. Because the enemies don't know what to do with it. Right. The curiosity seekers are like, he's got to be God. How could that happen? I just saw a miracle. So those three things are always going on where Jesus shows up. When we go to church, that's what should be there. it shows up. When we go to church, that's what should be there. Preaching, teaching, miracles, healings. And there's a difference between healings and miracles. I'll get to this later. So there's a huge crowd there. The people are crushing, they're trying to get inside.
Starting point is 01:33:08 The outside, people are listening through the windows. You can imagine the windows are open and there are people resting on the window seals. Everywhere, they're looking, they're trying to get in to see Jesus. At least to hear his voice. I can imagine little kids saying to their dad, put me on your shoulders, I wanna see. Everybody's trying to get a glimpse of Jesus
Starting point is 01:33:36 and hear his words. He preached the word to them. He focused on teaching the truth of God. God's Word. The gospel of the kingdom is the truth of God. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was made flesh. He was preaching about himself. He is the word. The word came to earth in a human body and spoke with human lips, spoke of himself, offering life, offering salvation,
Starting point is 01:34:21 offering healing, offering deliverance. Jesus preached the scribes, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, they lectured. Do as we say, not as we do. Jesus said, do as I do. Watch me and do what I'm doing. So I can picture and can imagine Jesus speaking with great conviction. Later in Mark at verse 27, the crowd said, this is a new doctrine. They were amazed at what they were hearing.
Starting point is 01:35:13 And so many gathered together, they hear these words. Verse 3, and they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was born of four. They came bringing to him a paralytic man carried by four men. This man had some form of paralysis. Could have been like MS. He had something wrong with him.
Starting point is 01:35:46 He could not walk. He was bedridden. He had no use of his leg muscles. They came to him bringing a paralyzed man. This was a bold move to get their friend to Jesus. You've got four men. They've heard about Jesus. They've heard about the miracles. They've got a friend. The fifth guy is paralyzed. We don't know if he was paralyzed from birth.
Starting point is 01:36:26 Maybe he got, maybe he was in an injury. Maybe these four men were close friends plus this five of them were close friends. And this one guy, maybe he was injured. Maybe it wasn't a neurological disease. Maybe he injured himself. Maybe he fell off a neurological disease, maybe he injured himself, maybe fell off a roof and he's paralyzed. We don't know.
Starting point is 01:36:52 But they got it in themselves to say, we're going to take our friend to see Jesus. And obviously they love their Yes, I mean obviously they love their friend Because that's I mean, let's just be real Today in many parts of the world if you're paralytic you probably don't have very many friends. That's right That's why I tend to think doc. This man may have been injured Because he had friends before the injury man may have been injured because he had friends before the injury, before the paralysis. Now we don't know if they were friends, maybe they were family. We don't know, but the fact of the matter is here were four people that believed enough to, when they heard about
Starting point is 01:37:39 Jesus, that they bore this man who was confined to a cot, to a mat, to bring him to Jesus. And so they make the effort to bring him to Jesus. And what do they see when they get to the house? There's people everywhere. There's crowds. They can't even get through the door. There's some people trying to get to Jesus. And there's not even a place to park your donkey cart.
Starting point is 01:38:07 You know, they're probably their first response, it'd be in the natural response, you know, just speaking as an ordinary person, you get there and say, Oh, man, look at this. We're not getting in there. And one of them says, you know, I got an idea. And one of them says, you know, I got an idea. Yes. It's crazy. Hear me out. Work with me here. Yes. But the carried by four, that in itself was an action of faith. Right. These four men came up with a plan.
Starting point is 01:38:43 Hey, little buddy, we're going to take you down to the house. You know the house where Jesus is living? We're taking you down there. We heard the word that he's in town and we're just gonna pick up your bed and we're gonna walk you down the street. Maybe they put him in a donkey cart and transported him to the house and then got him out. We don't know. It's just life. It's just whatever life is like. The Bible doesn't tell us every detail. I'm just trying to create a realistic picture. But the carrying him by four men was, that was an act of
Starting point is 01:39:23 faith in itself. Just picking him up and taking him toward Jesus was faith. Yes. When you move towards Jesus that's faith. Just taking an action that moves towards Jesus is faith. is faith. The man's paralyzed. He's unable to move. He can't walk himself there. He's dependent on these four men. So these guys get there. They look at each other like well we can't even get through the yard they're everywhere there's dude and you know you can imagine they've got the bed there's one man on each side of the bed and people going you can't go in there we can't even get in there you can't get in there with four people in a bed we can't even get in there. You can't get in there with four people in a bed. We can't even get a little child in there. There's not a place to stand.
Starting point is 01:40:31 Some people would have said, that's it, let's go home. We'll try another day. We made an effort, but parking lot's full. There's not one pew left in the church. Our place is packed out, sold out, no room, fire marshals here, not gonna let anybody else in. Or they could have said, and they didn't of course, but they could have said, Larry, I'm sorry,
Starting point is 01:41:02 but there's just so many people here, we're not gonna be able to get you in to see Jesus. You know, we'll just try another day. We'll come back another day, give it a shot. We'll see what we can do. But these men had faith that was amazing. These were four men I would want to hire for employees Any four guys would say I'm gonna carry we're gonna carry this bed up on a roof cut a hole in the roof and go
Starting point is 01:41:33 Down in the house Okay, you're my kind of guy. All right, I like this You're getting things done You didn't give me an excuse. That's too hard We don't have a way to do it. I don't like excuses. Get it done. And they went there with a purpose.
Starting point is 01:41:53 We're going to get our little buddy healed. Those four men, I don't know about the guy on the stretcher, but the four men believe Jesus could and would heal their buddy and had the faith it would be done and there was no doubt in their mind. Well later on we'll read Jesus saw their faith, didn't say the faith said the man with palsy. That's right, he saw their faith. So sometimes you've got to just pick up a sick person and say, we're going to church, you're going to be healed. That's right. And Jesus will see your faith and heal your sick friend or sick relative.
Starting point is 01:42:40 Because he responds to faith. So they've got their buddy on a mat. Each man's got a corner of the mat. And like we said, they've come up with this plan. And we get to verse 4, And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press they uncovered the roof where he was and when he had When they had broken it up. They let down the bed wherein the sick of the pals they lay What a scene Modern English What a scene modern English unable to get him in because of the crowd. They removed the roof above him.
Starting point is 01:43:28 When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic man was lying on. They ripped the tile off the roof. Yes. They ripped the tile off the roof. Yes. They didn't just neatly create an opening. They broke it up. They were grabbing the roof and pulling pieces of the roof off. Right. And yelling to the people down below, watch out. I'm gonna throw this roof down on you. If the tile hits you, Jesus will have to heal you. No, I don't know what the roof was made of,
Starting point is 01:44:20 but it wasn't, you know, it wasn't straw. No. So Jesus is inside, he's in the living room, he's teaching. I don't know how long it took to rip the roof off, big enough to let a stretcher in. I mean, think about it. They didn't turn the stretcher up on its end. The guy would slide off.
Starting point is 01:44:48 They had to make a hole big enough for the entire stretcher, the mat. I call it the mat. All right. So if the guy was six feet, they ripped off a hole at least six and a half feet long. That's a big hole. They lowered him down. Yeah, they didn't tilt it and drop him on his head. They didn't let him go off of it like a shoot. Hey, here he comes. No, they ripped off a chunk of the roof, at least I'm guessing six feet,
Starting point is 01:45:23 six and a half feet long wide enough for this guy to go down now yeah I don't know how long it took to do that but it didn't happen in five seconds right Jesus is down below he's teaching the professor of faith is teaching. And he just ignores the noise above him. I can imagine some plaster, you know, dust. He's brushing it out of his hair. He knows what's going on up there.
Starting point is 01:45:57 He already knows. He already knows what's going on up there and he just continues to teach and the dust is falling down, the plaster is falling on him, he's brushing it out of his hair, continues teaching. Finally, there's a big hole and you can see the clouds. He looks up and he sees four men looking down at him. And Jesus keeps teaching. Everybody in the house is looking up like they just ripped the roof off. Right. What is going on? Then a mat where the paralyzed man is dropped into the hole of the roof and some men below in the in the living room jump up say we'll get him we'll get him here we'll take him jesus keeps teaching he
Starting point is 01:46:58 keeps preaching he's still preaching and teaching and all this is going on in a house. When's the last time you've been in church and somebody ripped the roof off the church? And to let you know this wasn't just some casual thing. There's several Bible commentators out there that tried to say, well, you know, it was a veil that went over this part of the house or over the inner courtyard. And so they didn't have to do a whole lot of work to open up the veil or anything like that. But over in Luke chapter five, it makes it very clear that they had to lift up the tiles from the roof. Okay, so this, this wasn't just some casual, well, let's just open up the veil a little bit and put it lower him down that way. No, this undoubtedly was causing a commotion. You had to know that the
Starting point is 01:47:55 people sitting there listening to Jesus were looking up and going, is someone punching a hole through the ceiling up there? I mean, what's going on here? What's happening here? But jesus isn't amazed by it at all the uh The mention of the tiles, okay, so that tells us there was a physical hard roof on that house Absolutely That hard Tile roof was a barrier between
Starting point is 01:48:30 the four men and their sick buddy and Jesus the healer. It was a barrier. It was an obstacle. And what did they do to the obstacle? They removed it. They removed it by faith. to the obstacle. They removed it. They removed it by faith. You know the old expression, Rick, if God closed one door, opened a window, you know, things like that, well how about this, if the doors and windows are closed, cut a hole through the roof. That's right. That's where faith is. The message here is don't let an obstacle stop you from getting to Jesus for your healing. Right.
Starting point is 01:49:11 I assure you there will be obstacles. Yes, and in the case of the paralyzed man here, think of the obstacles that they encountered. First of all, they were on their way to see Jesus, and they were probably people going, where you going? So we're on our way to see Jesus. And there were probably people going, where are you going? So we're on our way to see Jesus. We're gonna get our friend healed. Oh, you don't need to do that.
Starting point is 01:49:31 You know, he was born that way, you know, or it was God's will for him to get hurt and be in a mat and things like that. You know, you should just love your friend. Said, well, we love him enough to take him to Jesus. And then they saw the crowd, another obstacle, the people, you know, the people seeking Jesus. And then they said, well, we've got, we'll go through the roof and they've got another
Starting point is 01:49:54 obstacle. They got a, this isn't just any roof. It's got a tile, it's got tiles on it. So we got to remove the tiles. And Mark said, and when they had broken it up. Yes. Something was, there was some type of hard physical material there that covered that roof. They had to break it up, which means they had to get their hands dirty.
Starting point is 01:50:22 Yes. They were stomping, they were ripping with their hands, stomping with their feet. That roof is coming off. That roof didn't stand a chance for those four men. Right. And notice nowhere in this, so far in this passage has the faith of the paralyzed man been mentioned? Nope, not at all. What I want you to see here is that these aren't four little sissy transvestite guys up here on the roof. These are four men and they ripped the roof off. They ripped the roof off. They exerted physical effort.
Starting point is 01:51:09 They got their hands dirty. They stomped with their feet. They used their muscles. They removed the obstacle. Why? Because Jesus was beyond the obstacle. There was an obstacle between them and Jesus. The obstacle had to go.
Starting point is 01:51:32 What are you willing to do to get to Jesus? Well, we have a lot of people that aren't willing to spend an hour in a Bible study. They're not willing to do anything to get to Jesus. That's why I love my morning Manna class. They don't make excuses. They're here, they show up. Why? Because this class wants to get to Jesus. So the friends let down the mat. A careful, trusting act. I can
Starting point is 01:52:11 hear the guy on the mat. Come on, guys, be careful here. Don't drop me. It's okay. We've got you. We got you. Okay, you're already paralyzed. Yeah, what's going to happen to you if we drop you? You're going to be paralyzed guys would say that men would say that in a joking way what are you afraid you're gonna be paralyzed you got a chance to get down there to meet Jesus but the point is they let down the mat through the hole that they ripped through the roof. They're still taking action. They're moving their friend towards the Messiah. They're expressing a bold love, a desperate reach to be in the presence of the Messiah,
Starting point is 01:53:03 the healer. Whether these men had ever seen Jesus heal anyone or not, doesn't matter, they believed he could. Right, yes. Maybe they only had the stories to go on, but they believed them, they didn't doubt, they believed. Doubters say, oh, do you believe that's true? You get cynics, skeptics. Do you believe that? I absolutely do. Yeah. When Jesus, I'm more convinced of that reality than your existence. Amen. Verse 5, When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy,
Starting point is 01:53:54 Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. When Jesus saw their faith, as Dock has said, not the faith of the sick man, the faith of the friends. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the sick man, your sins are forgiven. Wait a minute, the man's paralyzed. Why didn't Jesus say, son, you're healed, Get up. He said, Your sins are forgiven you. When he saw the faith of the four friends, he said to the paralyzed man, Your sins are forgiven. What was Sydney said to the four men of faith? Hey, your sins are forgiven. That's awesome faith. This guy here, he hasn't said a word.
Starting point is 01:54:48 I'm waiting on him to do something. You guys, I'm forgiving your sins. No, he said to this paralyzed man, your sins are forgiven because of their faith. Yes. That's the effect you can have on somebody else. So they displayed belief in the power of Jesus Christ, and Jesus responded to it, And Jesus responded to it because faith shines through persistence. Never quit. Never, never, never, never, and never quit.
Starting point is 01:55:38 And when you get to the end of that last never, never quit, never. Yes. All you gotta do is outlive your enemy. All you gotta do, outlive your enemy. Never quit. Wear down your enemy. Don't quit. So, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, your sins are forgiven. What he's saying here is, young man, you got something more serious than paralyzed legs.
Starting point is 01:56:28 You have unforgiven sin. Now we might be getting to the reason why this guy's paralyzed. Oh, can we go there? Can we go there today? Anybody pulling the covers over your head right now? Right. I mean, it could be that Jesus was forgiving him of the sin of unbelief. Or the sin that caused the paralysis. The fact of the matter matter is Jesus forgave his sins. Yes. He
Starting point is 01:57:09 said, he's saying here, if I forgive your sins, you're going to be healed. Your sins are blocking your healing. Ouch. Jesus is saying to this man, you have a more serious problem than your paralyzed legs. You have a heart that is sinful. And if I forgive your sins, your sickness, your paralysis will go away. your paralysis will go away. He hasn't said that the sins cause the paralysis but the sins are preventing the removal of the paralysis. It could be the man was paralyzed because of a persistent sin in his life
Starting point is 01:58:07 Could be But one thing is for sure The sin whatever sin it was in his life. It was it was Blocking the removal of the paralysis the removal of the paralysis. So the first thing you have to do in healing is deal with the fact, are there any unconfessed, unrepented sins in this person's life?
Starting point is 01:58:40 Get to the root of it. Tackle sin's root. Which is far more damaging than paralysis. Right. But Jesus, he wasn't lecturing this man, he didn't scold him.
Starting point is 01:59:00 He didn't go, hey, you rotten filthy sinner, I'll tell you why you're on that bed. You know good. No, he called him son. Yes, son. God in sun. Sun is a, uh, an older man calling and Jesus was only in his thirties at this point. But so this says that this, this man was probably in his twenties, late teens,
Starting point is 01:59:34 but Jesus looked at him and called him son. Yes. That's an expression of affection, of love, of warmth towards somebody, of acceptance. You're in my family. I'm calling you son. So Jesus forgives us sins, okay, which is a display of divine power, which clearly shocked the religious gang that was standing there watching it.
Starting point is 02:00:11 Oh yes. That set them off. But they didn't rejoice at the man's sins being forgiven. There was no rejoicing of that. There was no celebration of that. There was nothing from the scribes saying, wow, his sins are forgiven. And verse 6 says, but there were certain of the scribes sitting there and reasoning in their hearts. So they're inside the living room and they're sitting you know what that tells me They didn't get up off there. You know what to help the poor man down from the roof
Starting point is 02:00:54 They were just sitting there they were they were focused on criticizing Jesus yes, they were there to criticize the Lord criticize a man walk to find fault. Yes. Look for something that he would say or do that they could accuse him. So the religious experts were in the packed house. So this is a lesson wherever there wherever the presence of God appears there will be religious spirits there to attack the man of God who is preaching and to cancel the faith of the
Starting point is 02:01:38 people and you know what Rick I bet they were sitting on the front row too. Oh, yeah, they were they were they were little old ladies behind them standing Right and they were sitting on the sofa You know why because they're special They they were they were the top religious leaders of copernum they they were entitled to the seats So They were entitled to the seats. They maybe went out of curiosity, but to me, they were there for judgment. Yeah, it's interesting. Over in Luke 5.17, which is the parallel to this story, Luke 517 says
Starting point is 02:02:29 of the scribes, they weren't just the local folk guys. They were lawyers. It says in Luke 517 that they came from every village of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And what this teaches me, Rick, is you don't have to seek out your critics. They'll come and find you. Oh yeah, they'll find, they'll flock to you just to catch you in something that they can accuse you of doing or saying something wrong. And they'll travel to do it. And they'll travel to do it. To reduce your effectiveness in teaching the Word of God. Right. That's our only goal. It's certainly not to celebrate. To stifle faith. Yes. So don't be surprised and don't be
Starting point is 02:03:15 dismayed by the presence of critics. Jesus had critics. you're going to have critics too. And they'll probably be sitting on the front row. That's right. And they were reasoning in their hearts. Yes. They were reasoning in their hearts about what Jesus was saying. I mean, they've been listening to his sermon. And they were picking it apart. was saying and I mean, they've been listening to his sermon. And they were picking it apart. And now, four guys picked apart the roof and they're like, this this meeting is crazy. Can you
Starting point is 02:03:52 imagine? You know, can you see them looking at each other going, we'd never allow this to happen down at the synagogue. We'd have the law out here if somebody ripped the roof off the synagogue. We'd have those people arrested. No upstanding member of our synagogue would rip off the roof. These people are rowdy. This is private property, you know? Yes.
Starting point is 02:04:21 Yeah, these people are rowdy. Look at the people he attracts. Bunch of crazy roof rippers. I'm being myself loud. I like that. You roof ripper. I'm going to steal that, Rick. My next sermon on this, I'm using it. A roof ripper okay so anyhow the scribes are there okay verse seven why does this man speak blasphemies like that who can forgive sins but God alone well guess
Starting point is 02:05:02 who's saying it God alone it's Jesus the Son of God. That's who can say it and that's who can forgive sins. But they saw it as blasphemy. This claim by Jesus to forgive sins. They were there. Remind you, the scribes are lawyers. They were there to gather evidence for a trial. We got to bring accusations against this man. We're going to record in our little notebooks that he claimed to have the power to forgive sins. And we all know that only God can forgive sins. This man acts like he's God.
Starting point is 02:05:47 Yeah, he is. He's the Son of God. Yes, which means that they perceived him at this point, so early in the ministry of Jesus, they perceived him as just a mere man, as just another traveling rabbibi drawing a crowd and everything. But it's going to dawn on them pretty quickly that this isn't an ordinary man. And so that's why they're asking this question. Who can forgive sins but God? I mean, how bold that must be for Jesus to say your sins are forgiven in front of the scribes,
Starting point is 02:06:27 knowing, knowing, and Jesus says he knew, he perceived in his spirit what they were thinking. And so he knew. And that's what verse eight says. Immediately, verse eight, immediately Jesus perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned with with themselves said to them, why do you reason these things in your hearts?
Starting point is 02:06:55 Jesus, he is God. He knew what they were thinking. He knew their inner thoughts and he challenged them. He stopped talking to the crowd, stopped talking to the paralytic man. He looks at the scribes and said, why do you reason such evil things? And this is where things really go to a new level.
Starting point is 02:07:29 And we get to verse 9. Jesus said, which is easier to tell the paralytic your sins are forgiven or to say, arise and take up your mat and walk? Which is easier? This is the verse I want you to hear. This is it for Faith Friday. Whether it is easier to say to the sick of the palsy, thy sins be forgiven thee, or to say arise and take up thy bed and walk? Jesus said, which one's harder? When he's saying his hate, both are easy to me.
Starting point is 02:08:12 Hallelujah. How do you go? I hope you get this now. I hope you get this now on Good Friday. Do you understand? Jesus is saying, which one's harder? Which one's easier? Is it easier to say your sins are forgiven or is it say to a paralyzed man, stand up and walk? Once you get this in your spirit, you will never stay sick again. Some of you are going to get healed today. Amen. In the name of
Starting point is 02:08:49 Jesus Christ I speak healing into people right now. Some of you are going to perceive the truth of this word and you're going to be healed today. You're going to rise and walk. Whatever that is. What's this obstacle that's keeping you from arising and walking? You're going to rip the roof off today and receive the promise today. Verse 10, but that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins. He then said to the paralytic man, he's revealing his divine authority where? Where?
Starting point is 02:09:43 On Earth. You know, this place that we live. That you may know that the Son of Man has authority on this planet to forgive sins. He's got the power in heaven, but there ain't nobody up in heaven in sin. The sinners are on this planet, and he has authority on this planet to forgive sins. And in doing this, he revealed that he was God in the flesh. Yes. He's outing himself. Now, if you wanna know, I am God. And to prove it.
Starting point is 02:10:32 And to prove it, he says to the paralyzed man, pick up your bed and go home, walk. Don't let anybody carry you home. You walk home carrying your mat. anybody carry you home, you walk home carrying your mat. On earth, not only does it identify where this authority resides, our planet, but when it resides, now. That authority is here today.
Starting point is 02:11:05 He has authority on this earth, this planet now to forgive sins and to say to a crippled man, you're healed. You're healed. Take up your bed and walk. This earthly power, as he says many times, the kingdom is near. It's here. It's near you.
Starting point is 02:11:32 When you believe it is in you, the Holy Spirit comes inside you. Hallelujah. Now, then verse 11, I say unto thee, arise, take up thy bed and go thy way unto thine house. You see this formally crippled man walk, he leaves the house. Excuse me, I gotta get, would you just let me through here? I gotta get through here to the door. Excuse me, pardon me. Yeah, I'm home in a bed here. I got to get through here to the door Excuse me. Pardon me
Starting point is 02:12:05 Yeah, I'm on the bed here. Yes people standing back going. This is a miracle This is a miracle This man just got up and he's leaving and there he goes. He's walking down the street carrying his bed and one thing for your One thing's for sure Rick when when you encounter Jesus, you don't go out the same way you came in. That's right. And Jesus says, go thy way to your house.
Starting point is 02:12:33 Take this miracle to your house. Amen. Take it home, buddy. Take it home. Carry the mat. That thing that you were residing on because you couldn't get up, now you carry it. You carry the thing that once held you. You carried the thing that once carried you.
Starting point is 02:12:57 Yes, and you take it all the way to your house. You take the miracle to your house. Hallelujah. And when you get home, you tell your mama what happened. And your dad, you tell your brothers and sisters in your house. I met this man named Jesus. Everything they say about him is true. He heals. Not only did he heal, he forgave my sin. Hallelujah. Take the power of God. Take the mirror to your house and let everybody in your household hear about Jesus. Praise God.
Starting point is 02:13:50 Oh, I guess so much more I want to end looking at the time. Verse 12, and immediately he arose, took up the bed, went forth before them all in so much that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, we never saw it like this. We ain't never seen nothing like this before. You wait till I get down to the coffee shop. Well, I'll tell my buddies what I just saw. They're not going to believe That's a jaw-dropping reaction. I was like, oh, they're just staring. They're looking at Jesus. They're looking up at the hole in the ceiling. They're looking at the man walking down the street with the mat.
Starting point is 02:14:40 Okay, can you give me five more minutes? You got it, Rick Rick I give you permission. All right. I know cuz we we we have to get to the Lord's Supper here. Jesus offers his affordable health care plan. It has no premiums and no deductibles. It's available to all. It's affordable. There are no monthly premiums. And when you get sick, there are no deductibles.
Starting point is 02:15:17 It's the Jesus Affordable Health Care Plan. Millions of sick people today are already covered by the affordable health care plan, but they are not using their prepaid policy. Yes. They're going around sick, accepting their sickness, living with their sickness, people telling them, you've got to learn to live with your sickness. You might wanna join a support group for your sickness. So you can talk about your sickness
Starting point is 02:16:00 and continue to be sick. Yes. And there's one of those support groups down here on the corner at the church. A lot of these churches have support groups for sick people and they'll comfort you. And they'll tell you there's no hope, but you can learn to live with your sickness. You can learn to live with your pain. live with your sickness. You can learn to live with your pain. All the time you have this affordable healthcare plan
Starting point is 02:16:30 is already prepaid. Everything was paid up for life on resurrection day. Coming up this Sunday. That's when your premiums were paid. Actually, they were paid on the cross. The policy went into effect on Resurrection Day. Jesus paid it all. He paid it all.
Starting point is 02:16:59 He purchased your healing at a great cost. He was nailed to a cross and died. Health care coverage in the kingdom is available to all who believe. Praise God. I'm going into the kingdom health insurance business. Kingdom health. Yeah, it's an policy. Prepaid. No premiums, no deductibles. All you have to do is believe.
Starting point is 02:17:37 There's a difference between healings and miracles. Miracles. Healings remove the cause of sickness in the body. Miracles require God to set aside his laws of nature and to carry out a supernatural act concerning a specific case, such as making eyeballs for a blind person born without eyes. A miracle. That's a miracle.
Starting point is 02:18:03 There's no natural way to grow an eye. That's right. You can't heal a person without an eyeball. There's no eyeball to heal. You could say someone with eyes could have their eyesight restored. Yes, yes. But if they don't have eyes, that's a bigger issue. That's right.
Starting point is 02:18:22 So the person who has eyes and lost her sight they need a healing But the person who has no eyeballs needs a miracle The good thing is the Jesus affordable plan Provides blanket coverage for healings for all who believe and ask now miracles require a rider for healings for all who believe and ask. Now miracles require a rider to your policy. That's at a different level of coverage, but there's the Jesus Affordable Health Care Plan provides healing to all who believe. Miracles are a different thing.
Starting point is 02:19:12 I'm not talking about miracles right now. I'm talking about healings. Amen. 3 John chapter 2, beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth. It is God's will for you to be in health and in prosperity even as your soul prospers. End of discussion. I don't care what anybody wants to call me.
Starting point is 02:19:40 That's what the word of God says. It's God's will for you to be in health and to be prosperous It is not God's will for you to be sick and broke As your soul prospers, what do you got here your soul is prospering but you're broke and sick What right where's the testimony for God? right your soul's prospering, but you're broke and sick. What, where's the testimony for God? Right. It cannot, it cannot at the same time be God's will for you to be sick. Either it is God's will for you to be sick
Starting point is 02:20:20 or it is God's will for you to be healthy. Which one is it? sick or is God's will for you to be healthy? Which one is it? James 5 14. Is there any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. Who is James addressing? Who's he speaking to? Who's the audience that he's talking to? Saved saints in the church. Amen. He's not talking to unbelievers. He's saying to those in the church, is there anybody here who's sick?
Starting point is 02:21:01 That means that there are sick people in the church. That's not a scandal. That's not a failure of God. Yes, we get sick. That's life. We do get sick. You all know, I've wrestled with respiratory infections when I traveled. Thank God I came back from Las Vegas without sickness. Two of our team members though came back with sickness. Right. Doc and I were spared on this one. And I said to the Lord before I left, I said, Lord, please keep me healthy.
Starting point is 02:21:48 I can't be sick and preaching faith and healing. And he corrected me and he said, wait a minute. I never promised you'd never get sick. I promised I would heal you if you were sick. Right. I thought about it. That's right. He never said you will never get sick. He said, if you get sick, I will heal you. Right. So don't let anybody say to you, well, you believe in all this faith and everything and you're sick. Yeah, I'm sick, but I'm going to be, I'm going
Starting point is 02:22:23 to be healed. Think about the apostle Paul who suffered all sorts of persecutions and everything and beaten and stoned. Do you think every time he got stoned, he just started hopping up like a school girl on the first day of school and was healed? He had to pray for healing each and every single time, even if it was the hands of others. And then there's everyday sickness that we all encounter in the world because of sin. Sin's in the world, sickness is in the world. We are in a fallen world, and we're in bodies of
Starting point is 02:23:05 of a flesh and our flesh is subject to infections. James said to the believing saints in the church, listen to me, if you're sick, come forth and ask the elders of the church to pray for you to anoint you with oil in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And for what purpose? For what purpose? Why just, I mean, just for sympathy,
Starting point is 02:23:31 come on up and the elders will anoint you with oil and we'll sympathize with you. We'll make some chicken soup for you. We'll rub your feet. We'll buy you an ice cream cone, make you feel better. Will you seminar on how to live with your sickness? Why did James say, come forth and be prayed for by the elders and anointed with oil in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ? Because you're going to be healed.
Starting point is 02:24:04 Amen. If it is not God's will to heal the saints in the church of God, James would not have issued a call to anybody in the church who was sick to come forward to be healed. The appeal is to any. He said, is any sick among you? That's a wide open invitation. He didn't say, is there anybody here with a headache? Is there any sick in this church? We don't want anybody in this church to be sick.
Starting point is 02:24:43 Get up here right now. We're going to anoint you with oil in the name of Jesus. Praise God. Second Peter chapter three, verse nine. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish,
Starting point is 02:25:03 but that all should come to repentance not willing that who any not willing that any should perish it's the same word used in james 5 14 Peter said, God is not willing that anybody perish in hell. So James said, is any sick? If salvation is for all who repent, then healing is for all who believe. Yes, and that the prayer of faith shall save the sick. You must believe and be baptized to be saved. Why can't we have faith to believe for salvation
Starting point is 02:25:57 but not healing? How did you get saved without faith? How can you be saved without faith? How can you be saved without faith? If you have faith to believe that your sins are forgiven, don't you have faith to believe you're healed? If Jesus cannot heal today, neither can he save today. Amen. Now that was simple. Oh my, if this were if what I just said gets out on the internet, oh my, religious spirits are
Starting point is 02:26:34 going to just freak out. But it's still true. If Jesus cannot heal today, neither can he save today. Jesus said, your sins are forgiven. Now take up your bed and walk. And they'll go along, they'll believe that. They'll say, oh, your sins are forgiven. But the bed part, healing part, they have a hard time with. Jesus said it all in one breath. Your sins are forgiven and you're healed.
Starting point is 02:27:11 See, salvation and healing are one package. They're not two different things, it's one package. Healing comes with salvation. Is there any sick here? Get up here and we'll pray for you in the name of Jesus. Get rid of that sickness. Psalm 103 verses 2 and 3, bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases. There you go. Who forgives your sins and heals your diseases. Don't forget his benefits.
Starting point is 02:27:54 That's what he said. Don't forget the benefits. Your sins are forgiven and your sicknesses are healed. Okay, this is Good Friday. Isaiah 53, verse four and five. Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows yet we did esteem him stricken smitten of God and afflicted, but he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed.
Starting point is 02:28:28 One package. At Calvary, your sins were forgiven and your body was healed. Your mind can be healed too. There are people who are emotionally, mentally sick, they need a healing. Forgiveness and healing go hand in hand. You can't separate them. At Calvary, Jesus took both our sins and our infirmities upon Himself. He paid for our salvation and our healing at the same time. A double cure. Yes. A twofer.
Starting point is 02:29:08 The double cure. Yes. It's a twofer. Two benefits by one act of sacrifice. He bore both sin and forgiveness for you and me. He bore both sin and forgiveness for you and me. And if he bore them, then we must not bear them. There are a lot of people who know they're saved, know they're forgiven, but they do not know that they're healed. And some, when you tell them they're healed, refuse to believe it because their church does not teach it. How tragic.
Starting point is 02:29:53 Then get out of that church. Don't associate with people that deny the Lord's power. Right. Why would you remain in a church that denies the power of Jesus Christ? Right. Why would you remain in a church that denies the power of Jesus Christ? Right. If we remain sick because of unbelief, then his sufferings and sacrifice on the cross was in vain. I'm going to close one more verse, Exodus 15 26. And God said said if thou wilt diligently harken to the voice this is Moses speaking if thou will diligently harken to the voice of the Lord thy God
Starting point is 02:30:33 and will do that which is right in his sight and will give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord that healeth thee. If you diligently hearken to the voice of God, if you do that which is right, if you listen to his commandments, if you keep his ordinances,
Starting point is 02:31:10 he, here's the promise, he will not put any diseases upon you. He said, I am, I am. This is the great I am. I am the Lord that heals thee. My question as I close, is he I am or I was? Which one is he? I am or I was?
Starting point is 02:31:41 He's I am today. Yes. And I am the Lord that heals the. If you are without sin, if you are keeping his commandments, if you are diligently seeking his voice, if you're doing what is right in his sight, if you keep give ear, you're you're listening for the teaching of his commandments, you keep his statutes. He said, these diseases will not come upon you. I brought you out of bondage. Egyptian Egypt speaks of bondage. Egyptian, Egypt speaks of bondage. I brought you out of bondage
Starting point is 02:32:27 because I am the Lord that heals you. Praise God, some of you are going to get healed today. I can't wait to hear the testimonies. Doc, I know I'm half hour over. Let's go to the Lord's Supper. I hope this communion has special meaning to you today. And I just want to encourage everyone, just as in our passage today and as that verse in James said, you may not even have your own faith for healing. I would encourage you to find someone who does have that faith. Find a friend who believes that you can be healed. Find somebody. Find an elder. Find a friend. Find a friend who's willing to cut a hole through a roof to get you to Jesus.
Starting point is 02:33:17 That's right. Even if you don't have the ability to do it yourself, find a friend who will dig through a tile roof to get you to the healer. So I would encourage him that. And I'm standing by here right now, standing with you today as your friend. I'm helping lower you to the healer today. If you need healing. If anybody asked why did Rick Wiles stop true news So I can get out and travel and get to you and anoint you with oil and lay hands on you in the name Of Jesus and you be healed. That's why I can't do it when I'm sitting in here Looking at news all day. I'm gonna go out and travel and lay hands on the sick and
Starting point is 02:34:04 If anybody has a problem with that you take it up with Jesus I don't work for you work for him he said go out and preach and teach and lay hands on the sick amen and cast out devils and I see no commandment and study the news all day. Praise God. All right. Well, on that note, then let's transition to the Lord's table here today. And I want you to take the heart today. Your sins are forgiven.
Starting point is 02:34:42 Your sins are forgiven. The Savior has spoken today. Your sins are forgiven. Your sins are forgiven. The Savior has spoken today, your sins are forgiven. You've come to Jesus and He said your sins are forgiven. It's done. It's complete. The work is done in your life. And I'm going to pray a blessing over the Elements of the Lord's Table a blessing over the Elements of the Lord's Table at this time and just ask the Lord to let this be, maybe this is a step of faith for you today for your own healing, whether it's emotional, mental, physical healing, whatever it is,
Starting point is 02:35:18 maybe this today will be a step of faith for you to say, friends, carry me to Jesus. Carry me to Jesus. Whatever you have to do, just get me to Jesus. If he can forgive your sins and heal you, I mean if he can forgive you, Doc, he can heal you. Yes. If you don't believe, if you don't believe he can heal you, then you're not really sure you're safe. He can save you. I know that's bold, but that's the way it is. Praise God. All right, well, let's go to the Lord's table this time. I feel like God has already been dealing with hearts and everything as far as our relationship with Him in this passage today. Let's go ahead and enter into the Lord's table and ask for the Lord's
Starting point is 02:36:05 blessing on the elements here. Almighty God in your tender mercy you gave your only begotten Son Jesus Christ to suffer death upon the cross for our redemption and he offered himself and made once for all time listen to this a perfect and sufficient sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. He instituted this remembrance of his passion and death which he commanded us to continue until he comes again. So Father, we ask you to bless and sanctify with your word and Holy Spirit these gifts of bread and wine that we may partake of his most blessed body and blood. Christ our Passover lamb has been sacrificed once for all upon the cross. Therefore let us keep the feast. Hallelujah.
Starting point is 02:36:49 On the night that he was betrayed our Lord Jesus took bread and when he'd given thanks he broke it. Gave it to his disciples saying, take eat. This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me." The body of our Lord Jesus Christ, which was given for you, preserved your body and soul to everlasting life. This is the bread of heaven. Take and eat in remembrance that Christ died for you. Then after supper Jesus took the cup and when he had given thanks he gave it to them saying drink this all of you
Starting point is 02:37:30 for this is my blood of the new covenant which is shed for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins. Whenever you drink it do this in remembrance of me. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. The blood of our Lord Jesus Christ was shed for you. Preserve your body and soul to everlasting life. Drink the cup of salvation and remembrance that Christ's blood was shed for you and be thankful. Behold the Lamb of God. Behold him who takes away the sins of the world. And blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb. This sacrament is the gift of God for the people of God.
Starting point is 02:38:11 Feed on him by faith with thanksgiving that Christ died for you, for all of you, every part of you. Praise God. Hallelujah. Rick, I can't help but think that even as we were participating in the Lord's Supper right now that there were people that were healed today. I know. I believe it in my spirit. They got a revelation of it today. Yes. God opened up the door to you and said, you're healed and you're going to see that healing take place in your body. Even from this moment, you're going to start feeling a difference in your body.
Starting point is 02:38:53 You don't have to get healed. You are healed. That's right. It's already done from God's perspective. It's done. Okay, from his perspective, it's already done. It was completed. But when it shows up in your body, that's not the issue. The issue is that you believe that on the cross, He paid for your healing. Yes. And once you get that in your spirit, now you can tell your body to obey the Word of God. Right. Order your body to conform to the Word of God. If you've been having a hard time believing that Jesus can heal you, Rick and I are going to be your friends and we're carrying your mat to bring you to the healer.
Starting point is 02:39:38 We're willing to get through. We'll tear the roof off the place to get you to Jesus. We'll tear the roof off the place to get you to Jesus. Yes. There was a guy, he died young, Jack Coe back in the 50s. He would just reach up, somebody have a tumor on their face or their neck. He would just reach up and say, I see you got a tumor there. And he would just pull it off.
Starting point is 02:40:02 I see you got a tumor there and he would just pull it off. A faith. Just grab it and it would come off the person's face or their neck and he'd hold their tumor in the hand. Go, well, we don't need this, throw it away. He had faith. We need these kinds of miracles again. Right. So, that's what I plan to do.
Starting point is 02:40:28 I don't plan to read the news anymore. I have retired from the news. And if you're not on the mat, sign up to be a roof ripper. You like that, don't you? I love it. It's gonna stick with me. It's down in my gizzard now.
Starting point is 02:40:45 Okay. Ripper. So, praise God. I'll take something to pray for us. This is a huge step of faith for me in this ministry. Obviously, you know, if our supporters don't back us uh we're in trouble financially but i know my spirit that the lord will provide and the the sooner we see more resources coming in the sooner i can get out of true news um you know i have some contractual obligations that if I cancel them, it's going to cost us money. But I'd like to cancel them. And I'm asking the Lord to send some miraculous gifts to this ministry in the very near future. That we just laugh at Mr. Lack. You're on a streak today, Rick.
Starting point is 02:41:52 What's your name again? Mr. Lack? No, we're not lacking. We're prospering. And the people that support us, they're prospering. And they're healthy. They're prospering because their soul is prospering. No, Mr. Lack, go away. Go away. You have to go to one of those churches that doesn't have faith, doesn't believe in faith.
Starting point is 02:42:19 They believe he's I was. They worship the I was. They worship the I was. Anyhow, that's what you can wear. We're we're ripping the roof off by faith on this ministry. Yeah, we're we're gonna get to Jesus, folks. That's it. That's the only place we need to be. We don't want to be observers. We don't want to look at the crowd. We don't want to do any of that. We want to get to Jesus. And we'll tear off the roof if we have to to get to Him. Amen. All right. Well, right now, we better let these people go.
Starting point is 02:42:56 We've had it for 90 minutes. Wow. It doesn't seem like that today, does it? No. Time went by so quickly today, so praise God. That's a good thing. So praise the Lord. Well, we appreciate you being here with us from at least 10 different countries. Probably more than that. We usually have about two dozen countries checking in. We appreciate you joining us live here on Morning Manna. Encourage you to do so every weekday morning, 8 a.m. here on
Starting point is 02:43:23 faithandvalues.com. And if you're watching at some other time, we pray that you will participate in the Lord's Supper today. You can listen and watch anytime and it's just as effective recorded as it is live. So don't feel like you can't participate. This is resurrection weekend. And so we encourage you to keep in mind what the Lord did for you on that cross nearly 2000 years ago. But he didn't stay on the cross.
Starting point is 02:43:54 He didn't stay there, nor did he stay in the grave, but he rose again. Amen. Rose again to give you new life, to see salvation for your life, healing for your body now and a resurrected body later amen hey and just one last thing paul said getting out of true news should reduce your internet bandwidth calls actually paul it's going to greatly increase it because
Starting point is 02:44:19 we're going we're going to expand morning manna to far more people that ever watched true news. I Want our bandwidth calls to go up I'm I pray it goes up ten times You know why there's ten times more people watching But they're just going to get the word of God not news So we're you know, our expenses are going to increase not decrease building a a not news. So our expenses are going to increase, not decrease. Building a Bible school for children is going to cost millions of dollars. I need faith to build the school. We have to create curriculum. We have to develop videos. We have to develop courses. We have to build
Starting point is 02:45:03 platforms. We have a lot that we have to do. It's gonna cost millions of dollars. And be honest, we need more partners. We need more people involved. We need moms and dads and grandmas and grandpas involved in this. That's why we're continuing Morning Manna to give you an opportunity to build faith in you.
Starting point is 02:45:23 Why would you need faith to help us reach the children, to feed the children, to feed the lambs? But we need people to do that. God can provide all of our supply according to his riches and glory in Christ Jesus. But my friend, you are the riches that Christ has inherited. And so he uses people in order to help men and women of God accomplish what God's called them to do. All right, Doc, I just started, I just started
Starting point is 02:45:54 the Roof Rippers Faith Club to finance this ministry, to expand faith, to teach faith finance this ministry to expand faith, to teach faith to big people and little people, we're going to be roof rippers. When now when you say, you know, put a bumper sticker on your car. I'm a member of the roof ripper faith club. I guarantee you somebody's going to ask you at the grocery store parking lot. What are roof? What are roof rippers? And then you come over to their house and give an estimate or something. Open door there for ministry. That's right. All right, we got to go. Yes, sir. All right. We love you very much. Have a great resurrection weekend.
Starting point is 02:46:40 Love on Jesus real hard this weekend. Read his word, tell the resurrection story to your family. This is one of the few times of the year where hearts are really, really open to the gospel message. Take advantage of it and share that Jesus is no longer in the grave, he is risen. He is risen, he is alive, praise God. On that note, God bless you. We pick back up in Romans, Romans chapter 11 on Monday. God bless you. We love you. We'll
Starting point is 02:47:10 see you on the next Morning Man.
