I want to begin our first episode of True News in 2024 by reading from the 24th chapter of the gospel according to St. Matthew. Jesus went out from the temple and was going on his way.

His disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple. But he answered them, you see all these things, don't you? Most certainly, I tell you, there will not be left here one stone on another that will not be thrown down. As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming and of the end of the age? Jesus answered them, Be careful that no one leads you astray, for many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and will lead many astray. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars see that you are not troubled for all this must happen but the end is not yet for nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there will be famines

plagues and earthquakes in various places but all these things are the beginning of birth pains. Then they will deliver you up to oppression and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name's sake. Then many will stumble and will deliver up one another and will hate one another. Many false prophets will arise

and will lead many astray because iniquity will be multiplied. The love of many will grow cold, but he who endures to the end will be saved. This good news of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet,

standing in the holy place, let the reader understand. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out the things that are in his house. Let him who is in the field not return back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days. Pray that your flight will not be in the winter nor on the Sabbath, for then there will be great suffering such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now,

no, nor ever will be. Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened. Jesus went on to say these words about the end of the days of mankind. But immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will be darkened. The moon will not give its light. The stars will fall from the sky and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn and they will see the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn,

and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. My friend, I'm opening today's true news on this first episode of True News in 2024 because the news headlines of the world are shouting that Jesus Christ is

coming, that mankind is racing towards a rendezvous with its maker. And so Doc Burkhardt and I have prepared a breathtaking roundup of world news since the last time we were with you, which was December 22nd. So I'm going to begin with North Korea. This is Newsweek. North Korea ramps up preparations for war with the United States. Newsweek reported that North Korea is putting its munition industry and nuclear weapons sector on a war footing. Following months of raised tensions with the United States and NATO

aligned countries, plus a run of missile tests and border activity, Pyongyang's military and defense sectors will further accelerate war preparations in the face of what North Korea described as unprecedented anti-

DPRK. That's for the Democratic Republic of Korea. Confrontation maneuvers of the United States and its vassal forces, said North Korea's media. A spokesman for North Korea's defense ministry said that Washington and Seoul are going to finish the end of the year with a preview of a nuclear war. The grave political and military situation on and around the Korean Peninsula has reached its limit, said Kim Jong-un. Clear is the, this is his quote, clear is the intention of the United States, which dispatched the nuclear-powered submarine Missouri to the Korean Peninsula as soon as it hatched a dangerous plot for a nuclear war in Washington.

This critical situation, he said, was pushing North Korea towards more offensive actions. Then the London Times published this headline, North Korea's Kim Jong-un is thinking the unthinkable. Doc, there's only one thing that is the unthinkable. Nuclear war. And you've got Kim Jong-un saying, the West is going to get a preview of nuclear war. He put his country on a war footing. Whenever any country goes on what's described as a war footing, that's the last step to all-out war. Right.

I mean, the only thing that North Korea has is its military. And now they're ramping it up to really to full-scale war, war preparation. And this is being recognized by countries around the world. Well, when the Times of London is putting on their front page to the readers of the newspaper in London, hey, we need to tell you, Kim Jong-un is thinking the unthinkable. And the unthinkable is using nuclear weapons. Doc,

in my lifetime, I've never seen so many war headlines in such a short span of time as just recent days. And it's all over the place.

It's everywhere. I put this together last night. Last night and this morning. It's breathtaking. It's stunning. You have to be, you have to have your head buried deep in the sand to ignore the signs, to ignore the reality of what's taking place.

Nation after nation after nation is preparing for world war. And if they're not preparing for war, there's a rumor of a war coming as well. Wars and rumors of wars. Yonhap News Agency, South Korea. North Korean leader calls for stepped-up war preparations. Yes, and said that the U.S. is engaged in unprecedented acts of confrontation against its country. And that was reported by the state media. In the second-day session of the plenary meeting of the ruling Workers' Party on Wednesday, This was last week, by the way. Kim Jong-un also presented a goal of strengthening strategic cooperation

with anti-imperialist countries, according to Korean Central News Agency. He said, quote, he set forth the militant tasks for the People's Army and the munitions industry, nuclear weapons, and civil defense sectors to further accelerate the war preparations, KCNA said in an English-language dispatch. He said the security situation on the Korean Peninsula has become extremely dangerous due to what he claims are unprecedented U.S.-led confrontational moves against North Korea. And so it seems obvious, Rick, that they're moving not to a defensive position, but now moving toward an offensive position at this point.

And we see it in the next one is the London Times. Kim Jong-un prepares for a war that can break out at any time. We've said this many times. It doesn't matter what you and I think about these situations. It's what he thinks. Absolutely. He thinks the U.S. It's what he thinks. Absolutely. He thinks the U.S. is going to attack him any day. Yes.

When he sees a nuclear submarine parked off the South Korean coast, he's thinking it's only there for one reason. A surprise attack. Right. And so he's going to attack first. That's how he's thinking. So don't write this off and go, well, he's been saying this stuff for years. Yes, he has.

But there's something different. He's actually activated the military for war. In the past, it was more he had activated his mouth. Right. But now the military is activated for war. He's convinced, Kim Jong-un is convinced the U.S. is now the military is activated for war. He's convinced, Kim Jong-un is convinced the U.S. is going to launch a surprise attack on him.

And he's anticipating that it's going to happen when China makes a move against Taiwan. And so he's bracing for it. So the Times of London said North Korea will no longer pursue reunification with South Korea. Doc, is that a big deal?

That is a huge deal because they have – both sides have entire ministry departments dedicated toward reunification. By making this statement out there, it's like throwing away 70 years of work out the window. It says North Korea will no longer pursue reunification with South Korea and will instead launch three more military satellites in 24 while building up military drones and bolstering its nuclear arsenal. North Korea will develop various kinds of unmanned military hardware and powerful electronic warfare means. That's an EPM.

Yes. An EMP. Excuse me. EMP. That's what he's talking about here because of reckless moves by the enemy to invade us it is a fake a complete that a war can break out at any time on the korean peninsula kim jong-un said while wrapping up a year-end meeting of the central committee the workers party quote we need to swiftly respond to a possible nuclear crisis and mobilize all physical means, including nuclear force, in a bid to accelerate preparations for the great event of putting the entire territory of South Korea under our control. That's a direct threat right there. So what he announced is we're no longer trying to peacefully reunify with South Korea.

We're going to take it by force. That's exactly what he's saying. And I don't know if he's ever been that forceful in a statement before, Rick. So, Doc, that takes me back to what I just said about Taiwan. I think he's gotten the message from Xi Jinping. In 2024, China's going to move on Taiwan. And I think Xi said to Kim Jong-un, that's when you go in the South. When we go after Taiwan, you go after the South. We'll both get our land back in 24. I think that's the plan.

That's what I'm reading out of this. That there is a plan underway, a schedule by Xi Jinping and Kim Jong-un, that they are both going to move simultaneously while they have a weak president of the United States who's actually owned by the Chinese Communist Party. But even if he wasn't owned by the chinese communist party right but even if he wasn't owned by them he's so incoherent how would he ever respond who would be in control of the united states during a nuclear war you want joe biden grandpa grandpa mbc news wait till you hear this one, folks.
