published by the Wall Street Journal. U.S. warns Iran of serious risk if it conducts major attack on Israel. This is what the Wall Street Journal reported late yesterday. The U.S. has warned Iran that its newly elected government and economy could suffer a devastating blow if it were to mount a major attack against Israel. The warning has been communicated to Tehran directly as well as through intermediaries, said the official, who declined to provide specifics. The Wall Street Journal report said the United States has sent clear messaging to Iran that the risk of a major escalation if they do a significant retaliatory attack against Israel is extremely high. Those messages, said the Wall Street Journal,

have also put Tehran on notice that there is a serious risk of consequences for Iran's economy and the stability of its newly elected government if it goes down that path, the official added. On Tuesday, said the Wall Street Journal, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the U.S. had communicated that message directly to Iran, though he as a warning about the risk of provoking a robust military response from Israel. And it goes on to say, but the U.S. has also made clear that it is ready to use force to defend Israel, as it did in April. Stealthy F-22 fighters had been deployed to a base in the Middle East,

the U.S. Central Command said Wednesday. The Wall Street Journal report, furthermore, said the U.S. has sent more ships capable of shooting down ballistic missiles to the region. A U.S. aircraft carrier, the USS Theodore Roosevelt, is also in the Gulf of Oman. The Navy has also moved a F-18 fighter squadron from that carrier to a base in the Middle East, in a Middle Eastern nation to position the aircraft closer to the action should hostilities erupt, according to to another U.S. official. So if you look at this, it says this isn't a direct threat. However, we've moved warships and fighter jets into position, and we will be prepared for action if you do carry out an attack on Israel. So what if Israel attacks Iran first, which is something that Netanyahu

has threatened? Will the United States get involved if Israel starts the attack? And why is the United States obligated to get in this fight between Israel and Iran. Why are we obligated to be in this fight? Why should U.S. Marines be put at risk? What happens if Iran sinks a U.S. warship with 3,000 or 4,000 Marines on board? Why are we risking our men and the prestige of our nation for the sake of Israel? I don't get it.

What's the payoff for America? I know what the payoff is for Israel, but what's in it for America? We're being used by another nation, a tiny nation. We're being used to threaten other countries. And other countries live in fear. They don't strike back at Israel. Israel is allowed to do anything that they want to do.

They can murder, assassinate, bomb. Israel was bombing Syria today. How many people know that? How many people know that Israeli planes were bombing Syria today, and yet Syria doesn't respond? Why doesn't Syria respond? Because they would risk the wrath of the USA. You've got a USA military bases inside Syria this very moment, stealing

their oil. They can't even get rid of the American military that's in their country without legal invitation. The Syrian government never asked the U.S. government to build military bases in their country. Hey, come on in, build a military base and steal our oil. Let American oil companies make billions with our oil. But see, they can't do anything. They're too small. And so if they resist in any way, they get clobbered.

You know what the U.S. is acting like? Israel and the United States act like mafia gangs. You know, we're going to talk about this later in the program. I have a guest coming up, Anya Parampil. And she's an author of a book about the attempted coup in Venezuela several years ago when the USA tried to overthrow President Maduro. So she'll be coming up here in about 25 minutes. This is Times of Israel. Security cabinet convenes as Israel warns Hezbollah of destruction if it attacks. Times of Israel reporting the security cabinet convened Thursday night in Tel Aviv. As the country continued to brace for potential attacks by the Hezbollah group in Lebanon, the cabinet met in the underground command room of the Cairo military headquarters, according to various Hebrew media outlets. The meeting was taking place in what's called the pit, the underground command room, but not due to immediate security concerns, but rather in order to drill for a potential emergency situation. Channel 12 Israel News reported, as Israel was preparing for a promised attack by Iran and its terror proxies to several recent high-profile assassinations.

Once again, who's the terrorist in this situation? Israel's assassinating people in other countries. And then if you object to it, you're the terrorist. I'll get back to the Times of Israel article. According to Israel's Channel 13, the Israeli assessment on Thursday was that Hezbollah would try to target a senior Israeli official in retaliation for the Israeli killing of Commander Fouad Shakar on July 30, which came after a Hezbollah rocket attack killed 12 children in the Golan Heights days earlier. By the way, Golan Heights belongs to Syria, not Israel, but Israel is illegally occupying what I call the stolen heights. The report goes on to say,

the State of Israel, this is a quote from Mr. Galant, the Defense Minister, quote, the State of Israel wants peace, prosperity, and stability on both sides of the northern border and therefore will in no way allow the Hezbollah militia

to destabilize the border and the region. If Hezbollah continues its aggression, Israel will fight it with all its might. And again, this is a quote from Mr. Galant. Remember, he's speaking of Hezbollah's leader, Hassan Nasrallah. Remember, Nasrallah's regret for the dangerous and uncalculated adventure of August 2006, he said, referring to the second Lebanon war, a 34-day conflict that erupted when Hezbollah operatives captured two Israeli soldiers and killed others. And he said, those who play with fire should expect destruction.

Meanwhile, Hafez Mayor Yonah Yahav also referred to the Second Lebanon War, noting to a public broadcaster, Khan, that Hezbollah's arsenal is significantly more advanced than it was 18 years ago. The mayor said, quote, they are very precise missiles and they are expected to fire 4,000 missiles at us each day. That's why we're preparing our citizens. That's what we're preparing our citizens for. In any case, we're asking them to prepare enough food. Pay attention, folks. Hey, Americans, watch this. The Israeli mayor said, we are asking our people to prepare enough food, enough water, because we're expecting they'll have to stay there in the shelters for four to six days if Hezbollah attacks, the mayor added. The next story is Jerusalem Post. U.S. F-22 fighter jets arrive in Middle East to suppress escalation, Lloyd tells Gallant. Is the U.S. getting involved? Are we just there to keep the peace or are we there to pound on other countries? You know, when you read a headline that says F-22 fighter jets arrive in Middle East to suppress escalation,

what they have in mind of suppression is bombing any country that dares to stand up to Israel for killing people and bombing people and genocide in Gaza. See, people are fed up with it. They're just fed up with the Israeli attitude. This article says, U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin spoke with Israel's Defense Minister, Galant, on Thursday night. During the conversation, Austin informed Galant about the arrival of American F-22 fighter jets in the Middle East amid growing regional tensions. And this is the ex-tweet that the U.S. Secretary of Defense, Mr. Austin, posted on Twitter. He said, I called Israeli Defense Minister Galant today to brief him on U.S. force posture adjustments. I love these phrases.

He briefed him on U.S. force posture adjustments and reinforced my ironclad support for Israel's defense. The U.S. F-22 Raptors that arrived in the region today represent one of many efforts to deter aggression, defend Israel, and protect U.S. forces in the region. Mr. Austin went on to say, I also stress the importance of concluding a ceasefire deal in Gaza that releases the hostages. Did you also talk about not bombing schools in Gaza and killing children? But clearly, the defense secretary, his tweet on X said that the U.S. is there to defend Israel. So if hostilities break out, it means the United States is going to intervene and fight Iran. And who knows what other nations are going to get involved in this war. Again, I asked the question, what's the payoff for the United States? You know, if we stop being the puppet, we're the puppet of Israel.

You get this tiny little country that's controlling the United States. If we stopped being their hitmen, you know, stop being the heavies that go in and pound everybody with our military, do you realize that there wouldn't be any Middle Eastern countries that hate America? We would actually be liked. We would be respected. You know, we would be looked up to. What's wrong with that? Why can't we change

our foreign policy? Why can't we have a foreign policy that says, America is friends with all nations? We are seeking to be at peace with all nations. Why can't we be the leader of the world through our ingenuity, our creativity, our technology, our business skills. Why can't we be the leader that people want to follow? Why do we have to be the... See, the concept of American rulers, that's what they are, their empire rule, their concept of America leading is not leadership. It's coercion. It's threats. We lead with a hammer. Follow us or we hammer you. That's not leadership. And that's why there's so many countries around the world that hate us now because of this bullying attitude that we have. And again, you're going to hear about it in a few minutes with my interview with Anya Parampil.

And she talks about how the U.S. went're about to see in the coming days a horrific war that could be very costly to America. I am deeply concerned that because the U.S. is going to get involved in the war, Iran is going to strike U.S. assets. The disciples asked Jesus about the end of the age. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren't troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet, for nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in many places.

It didn't go as planned. So let's start at the beginning. The U.S. government, now President Donald Trump was in the White House at the time. John Bolton, none other than scary John Bolton, none other than, yes, Gary John Bolton was was national security adviser and wanting to overthrow President Maduro. So pick up the story from there. What happened? This was an unprecedented regime change scheme. What I write in the book is that it was the first time the U.S. declared a mission accomplished before the actual regime change had taken place. They just woke up one morning and basically John Bolton crafted this policy. And Trump was

ambivalent at first. According to Bolton's memoir, Trump didn't want to recognize Guaido under his name. But Bolton convinced him by getting Mike Pence on the phone with this unknown opposition figure in Venezuela and getting Pence to vouch on his behalf and convince Trump to move ahead. They basically told Trump that if you just recognize this guy, the government will fall and that will be that. Well, it didn't happen. And we're here in 2024. Maduro just declared victory in the latest round of Venezuelan elections. But what happened between then and now is that because that recognition, because the U.S. went ahead and recognized a shadow government in Venezuela, didn't control the country's borders, it didn't control any government ministry,

but it didn't matter because it gave the United States and its allies, including the Brits, cover to freeze Venezuela's internationally stored assets and basically carry out a modern-day looting or piracy operation because of that.
