Well the Israel lobby is cranking up its propaganda machine to build support for a US attack on Iran, possibly in late spring or early summer,
according to reports that we have here today. So this is True News for Wednesday, April 2nd,
2025. Let's begin our analysis and commentary of this, of today's news with this daily mail
headline Trump is about to bomb Iran top Israeli sources reveal planned attack on
nuclear sites and deliver a chilling war is coming warning there you go they're
telling you the war is planned and get ready.
I'll give you just a few quotes from this Daily Mail article.
Now, it's written by Daily Mail writer Dan Hodges.
It says, This morning, the world focuses on Donald Trump's decision to launch a global
trade war.
But in a few weeks' time, the man who pledged to deliver peace through strength last month
is planning to embark on a real war.
In Tel Aviv, and according to several senior political, military, and diplomatic sources,
the United States and Israel are preparing to launch a strike on Iran that will finally
eradicate the threat
posed by the country's nuclear weapons program. A senior Israeli government
source said, this should have been avoided a long time ago. It's time to draw
a line. Dr. Burkhardt is here with me. Yes, sir. Doc, you know, this is probably 50% Israeli propaganda
telling you the plan is already made.
It's done.
But the way the Israelis work is they create an image
that a decision has already been made.
Right, thus forcing the decision to be made.
Yes, you got it.
Yeah. So a week ago, the U.S. deployed a trio of B-2 Spirit stealth bombers accompanied
by long-range fueling assets to its Chagas Island base on Diego Garcia, bringing the
total strength there of the bomber force there to seven.
Now, this is significant because it's rare to see such a major concentration of the bomber force there to seven. Now this is significant because it's rare to see such a major concentration of the sophisticated
and very expensive assets all in one location.
Now those B-2s can deploy bunker buster missiles which can penetrate Iran's hardened nuclear
shelters.
A quote from the Daily Mail here according to a second senior diplomatic source
from Israel's perspective, with Trump in the White House, listen to this, this represents
the optimum moment to deal with Iran. There won't be a better chance. Now the timetable
for a proposed attack is still in flux, but Donald Trump has presented the Iranians with
a deadline of the end of May to agree to begin to dismantle
their nuclear weapons capability and in an echo of the buildup to the Iraq war
to readmit the nuclear inspect inspectors
ejected from Iran in
2023
So Rick are the warmongers back in charge? They're back in charge in the same
basically the same gang that created the Iraq War.
They're using the same place.
The propaganda machine is cranking out
the articles, the warnings, the threats.
And this is going to become more dire as every week goes by doc. You know by the
by the time we get to May, late May, we're gonna be at the Tony Blair, Saddam
Hussein is 45 minutes away from striking London. And weapons of mass
destruction they're everywhere and
they've been hiding, they've got nuclear weapons so we've got to destroy them. And
Colin Powell holding the vial in the United Nations and saying in this vial
is enough biological agents to destroy our nation. And you bring it to the UN? Yeah, sure.
You just carry it around in your pocket.
It was all propaganda.
So it's happening again.
And you know, towards the end of the Biden administration, there was speculation that
the US was going to attack Iran during the Biden administration.
And you know, we said, no, Biden really doesn't want to attack Iran,
but Donald Trump can be talked into it.
And so it will be to Netanyahu's advantage
to get Donald Trump elected, because he
will agree to attacking Iran.
And the Iranians are a different breed of pup than the Ukrainians.
I'm just letting you know that right now.
They've only been around for about 4,000 years.
Yes, and they didn't go by the term Iranians.
They went by the name Persians, and they're in the Bible. So France 24 reporting military confrontation almost inevitable if Iran nuclear talks fail.
Now this one gives you, well, actually the date that we just saw.
If you go back to the Daily Mail, it says, the timetable for a proposed attack is still in flux.
But Donald Trump has presented the Iranians
with a deadline of the end of May
to agree to begin to dismantle their nuclear weapons
capability.
As you just read that, Doc, there's your clue on the date.
Yes, so probably sometime in June, unless something radical happens between now and then.
So we go to this France 24 article, and it says,
France's foreign minister warned Wednesday that a military confrontation with Iran would
be almost inevitable if talks over Tehran's nuclear program failed.
This interesting article here, I have a comment about it. France's foreign
minister warned Wednesday that a military confrontation with Iran would
be almost inevitable if talks over Tehran's nuclear program failed. In the
event of failure, this is quoting the article, a military confrontation would
appear to be almost inevitable.
That's coming from Jean Noel Barreau,
speaking in parliament,
adding that it would severely destabilize the region.
Our confidence and our conviction must remain intact,
Barreau said.
Iran must never acquire nuclear weapons.
Now, here is one way to get Europe and the US
back on the same playing card again,
Rick.
Iran.
Yes.
That's right.
They can unite on bombing Iran.
Yes.
Why?
Because they share a common master, the Israel lobby, and they both will dance to whatever
tune the Israel lobby plays. On Middle East Eye,
Gulf states refuse to be launching pad
for any U.S. attacks against Iran.
Yes.
It says in this article by Middle East Eye,
Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states
have imposed a ban on U.S. warplanes
using their airfields or skies to attack Iran
after U.S. President Donald Trump
over the weekend threatened to bomb the country.
Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait have all told the US they will not permit their airspace
or territories to be used as a launch pad against Iran, including for refueling and rescue operations.
This is coming from a senior US official speaking to Middle East Eye. The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity
to discuss sensitive military planning.
They don't want to be drawn in, the official said.
So obviously the Middle East states are worried about
they're gonna get directly attacked by Iran
if they allow the US to use the bases
or their airspace to attack them.
Yes.
Also, we've got the Times of Israel reporting more B-2 stealth bombers seen at US base in
striking distance of Iran and Yemen.
Yes.
So, satellite images taken Wednesday and analyzed by the AAP show at least six stealth B-2 bombers
now stationed on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, a highly unusual deployment amid the
Yemen campaign and tensions with Iran.
The aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, now in Asia, is heading to the Middle East to
back up the Truman.
Early Wednesday, Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell
said that additional squadrons and other air assets
would be deployed to the region without elaborating.
That likely includes deploying nuclear-capable B-2 bombers
to camp Thunder Bay on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
Satellite photos taken Wednesday, which you see there,
by Planet Labs PDC, which you see there, by Planet Labs, PTC, analyzed by
the AP show, at least six B-2 bombers at the base.
And this deployment represents nearly a third of all the B-2 bombers in Washington's arsenal.
And that leads us to the next article here, which ties right in.
Iran urged to strike Diego Garcia
base immediately. Why? Because there's six B-2 bombers on Diego Garcia, a third of
the B-2 bomber fleet. They're targets. Yes. You've got one third of the B-2
fleet in one location on a small island a small island within striking range of Iranian missiles.
And the headlines around the world are saying it's inevitable the United States is going
to bomb Iran, possibly by the end of May, early June.
If you were in Tehran in the government office, what would you be thinking?
You've got an opportunity right now to take out a third of the B-2 bomber fleet would you
take it? If they make the decision if we wait they're definitely going to bomb us
it's going to happen. All you have to do is look at Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, just look around.
And that's the damage Israel did.
That's not the United States.
They used American weapons.
But if I were an Iranian military official, I would be saying to myself, we're going
to get wiped out here in about six to seven weeks.
So there's a real possibility that Iran
may launch a preemptive strike on the B-2 bombers
parked on Diego Garcia.
This may explain why President Trump was in a hurry to sign that agreement with Great
Britain to have control of that island.
That was just done in the past couple weeks.
Now, we do have to say this, that this propaganda that there's going to be an attack. This is part of the pressure campaign
on Iran. So it's, hey,
here's a settlement.
If you sign this settlement, these B-2 bombers won't
destroy your country. And you've got
till the end of May to sign so it's a very
heavy-handed technique you know it's like telling telling somebody hey if you
if you sign this document I won't burn your house down burn your house down
won't knock your teeth out the danger danger in that is if the other party doesn't
sign, doesn't capitulate, you don't have any choice other than carry out your threat.
Right.
So, it's a dangerous ploy to use, but most likely the White House has made a decision that if Iran does not
sign an agreement with the United States over its nuclear program by the end of May, we
are going to bomb Iran.
Which means, folks, think about this.
By late May, early June, we're going to be in a war with Persia. And Persia, modern Iran, has said
there are 10 U.S. military bases in the Middle East within range of Iraq. It's 50,000 American
servicemen there, and we're going to take them out.
Right.
And why are we going to do this, folks? Why? Tell me, my fellow Americans, why are we doing this?
Why is, why, why are we going to risk this war? Because Israel wants it. Yes.
When is this going to make you throw up? The idea that American leaders jump when Israelis say jump. Right. So we're going to risk American servicemen.
We don't know how many Iranian sleeper cells are inside the USA.
We have no idea.
They've been preparing for 30 years, knowing that this day's coming.
And if they didn't prepare, they're really ninkle poops because the
US and Israel have been talking for 30 years about destroying them and
Iran has been talking about attacking us so both sides have been
preparing. That's why you have to think when this thing breaks out this isn't
going to be a two-hour bombing campaign by the US.
And negotiations aren't going to include talks over mineral rights.
No.
No.
So, Mr. Trump could have us in a war with Iran by late May, early June.
Now obviously, Iran is not going to be able to defeat the United States of
America. But they are capable of inflicting great harm. And I ask the question again,
is Israel really worth it? Is it America first or Israel first? Why do politicians in America dance to the tunes played by Israelis?
Oh, because they're our greatest ally, Rick.
They're the beacon of democracy in the Middle East. Sure.
Well, as you saw, the London Telegraph, you know, Iranian.
There are people in Iran, top commanders,
telling the political leadership of Iran,
we've got to attack, we need to carry out
a preemptive attack.
So this preemptive attack may not happen
at the end of May.
You could happen any day.
Yes.
Which means things will change in the world very quickly.
Now while we're talking about the wonderful Israelis, another London Telegraph story,
Israel accused of executing Palestinian paramedics.
Oh, what a story this is.
This went on throughout the Gaza war.
They were openly killing paramedics.
But now?
Now they killed a bunch and tried to hide the evidence.
Yes.
So, the report says Israel has been accused of executing Palestinian paramedics after
bodies were found in a mass grave with their hands tied and bullet wounds
to the head.
In what would amount to a serious war crime, if proven, some 15 people from a number of
groups are allowed to have been, are alleged to have been killed by the IDF.
Their bodies were recovered from a shallow grave on Sunday after a week-long rescue operation, according to the UN.
Yes, accounts from Gaza suggest that some of the groups
from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society,
the Palestinian Civil Defense Force,
and the UN Palestine Refugee Agency
had been handcuffed or had their hands or feet tied.
The clearly identified humanitarian workers had been dispatched to collect injured Gazans
on the 23rd of March in Rafa amid a ramp-up of Israeli military operations.
Now, the United Nations claims the humanitarian workers came under fire from Israeli forces
who were advancing in the area with video footage taken near Tal Al-Sultan by a UN office
for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
Recuse party members showing a crushed UN vehicle, ambulances,
and a fire truck that had been flattened and partially
buried in the sand by the Israeli military.
Now, the UN did put out a new service item,
this is number eight for control, giving a report of what they have observed happened.
Let's watch this. We've arrived at the site where the ambulances were hit.
These ambulances have been buried in the sand. The UN vehicle here is buried in the sand. It's a UN vehicle here. Buried in the sand. The bulldozer is really
forced to pull those that has buried them. We're now looking for the bodies of those that were in these
medical and humanitarian vehicles.
So you see them actually bringing the vehicles up out of the sand that had been purposely
buried after being bombed and hit.
And those humanitarian workers had apparently either been handcuffed or tied up among those
that possibly survived.
And you see other workers trying to, you know, bring out the bodies of those humanitarian workers.
A very sad situation here, but...
Health workers should never be a target.
And yet we're here today digging up a mass grave of first responders and paramedics.
Seven days ago, civil defense and PRCS ambulances arrived at the scene.
One by one.
They were hit, they were struck, their bodies were gandered and buried in this mass grave.
They were digging their hearts in their uniforms, with their gloves on.
They were here to save lives, instead they ended up in a mass grave.
But vehicles, their ambulances, UN vehicles, Civil Defence vehicles are crushed and dumped
covered in sand next to us.
It's an absolute horror.
What has happened here? This should never happen. Health care workers should never be a target.
And so the global United Nations has no authority, no power. It's toothless
to do anything about Israel. Israel is off limits. Even when UN vehicles is directly attacked. Yes.
They control the world.
Tell me they don't?
They control the Western world. That's for sure. I'll tell you how I know they control it. What's going to happen as a result of this?
know they control it. What's going to happen as a result of this?
The US will cut off funding to the United Nations? Yes. Because there's not going to be any investigation, there's not going to be any justice for those
that were directly humanitarian workers, okay, that were killed on purpose by the IDF. And not just killed, they were
murdered. They were tied up, they were handcuffed, and murdered.
They were executed.
And then the evidence was buried in the sand.
But Doc, this went on for nearly two years in Gaza.
Yes. Nothing happened then either. I want to jump down to number 10, another one from the Telegraph.
Israel launches fresh military operation to seize large areas of Gaza.
Is there any part that they don't control?
Yes, I mean what don't they have?
The report says Israel has launched a major expansion of its military operation in Gaza,
saying that its army would seize large areas of the Palestinian Authority.
In a statement early Wednesday, Israel Katz, the country's defense minister, said that
Israel would expand its presence in Gaza to, quote, destroy and clear the area of terrorist
and terrorist infrastructure, end of quote.
The operation would, quote, seize large areas that will be incorporated into Israeli security
zones, end of quote, without explaining how much territory Israel would take.
I'll tell you how much.
All of it.
All of it.
This is the announcement comes after he warned last week that the Israeli military would
soon operate with full force in Gaza.
But what were they doing for the past two years?
Were they playing around with the Palestinians?
There's nothing left of Gaza.
Well if you believe the story, then if they're going to operate in full force, they believe
all the hostages are dead then.
Yes, and they're going to get revenge on the children of Palestine.
Because that's the way these Israelis operate.
If you don't believe that, I've been watching these people for years, they believe in revenge.
They believe in revenge. And they don't care your age.
They don't care if you're one year old or not, you're gonna die. Yeah, in their view
they're killing future terrorists. Very sad. Speaking of terrorists, Rick, you have
this story from I-24 News. Trump to meet with Syrian leader during Saudi visit
Yes, the al-qaeda leader. Yes
The new al-qaeda leader who gave up his terrorist garb for suit and tie the West put an
al-qaeda terrorist in power
Who are persecuting Christians in Syria now? Yes, but we call Palestinian children terrorists, but we honor an al-Qaeda terrorist.
U.S. President Trump will meet with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharah during his upcoming
visit to Saudi Arabia in mid-May, a Syrian source told I-24 News.
The expected meeting was arranged through the personal mediation of Saudi Crown Prince
Mohammed bin Salman.
And so apparently the Saudis have negotiated this meeting between the two.
That man that you see pictured there, folks, he's an al-Qaeda terrorist.
There's no other way to put it, that the West has installed and is being propped up by Turkey.
That al-Qaeda was created, funded, armed by the West.
That's right.
So there's nothing new to them.
Haaretz, Netanyahu, aid lobbies White House to impose US sanctions on Israeli anti-government
protest groups.
Yes.
Wait till you hear this one, Fox.
What a story this is.
A public relations contractor employed by the Prime Minister's office in
Israel is attempting to persuade the Trump administration to impose sanctions on the
civil society groups that organize protests against the Prime Minister.
Okay, let me stop, Doc. What they're talking about is Israeli Jews living in Israel who protest Netanyahu.
And so Netanyahu's government is pressuring the Trump administration to put U.S. sanctions
on Israeli Jews.
They're not satisfied with stripping the free speech rights of Christians and American
people.
No, they're even going to strip the free speech rights of their own Jewish citizens.
That's right.
Now, the woman that you see listed there, that's Carolyn Glick.
She bases her request on the claim that these groups are organizing a rebellion against
Israel's democratically elected government and are undermining the
United States national interests.
Get that, wait a minute, get that doc.
Her argument to the Trump administration is you need to put these sanctions on these Israeli
Jews because they are harming America's interests.
America's interests is propping up Netanyahu? Is that what you're saying? Our national security interest is propping up Netanyahu and crushing
legitimate free speech rights in Israel? That's what she's saying.
Yes. Well, Carolyn Glick is seeking the imposition of several sanctions. An entry
ban to prevent employees of these organizations from entering the US,
a freeze on their assets in the US, and a ban on Americans doing business with Israeli banks
that don't close these organizations' bank accounts.
Right there. That's the evidence. That's the proof of the cancel culture's origin. Zionism.
Yes.
Zionism created the cancel culture.
Zionism created the debanking concept, the deplatforming concept.
Absolutely.
Zionism.
They crush anybody who gets in their way even fellow Jews
Absolutely. Yeah, that's right now two sources well versed in the issue said that
Miss Glick had told people in the Prime Minister's office that her colleagues overseas have been quote
Understanding unquote and are open to hearing the idea of imposing sanctions, which translates to me, they're
going to happen.
That means the Trump administration is open to this and willing to do it.
Which contradicts Vice President Vance's defense of free speech rights.
Well, that's Europe.
You can talk about Europe, right, but don't talk about Israel.
Europe is encroaching on free speech rights, but not Israel.
No, no, no, no, no.
No, they know that they are.
Well, I know that they are.
But they'll argue that they have a right to do it because these Jews who are criticizing
Netanyahu are anti-Semitic.
Yes.
Okay, let's switch our war focus to the Asian war theater.
Update on those Chinese POA war games to invade Taiwan.
Here's the Times of London.
China punishes Taiwan with live-fire military drills.
Yes, China carried out live-fire drills to simulate an all-out attack on Taiwan Wednesday,
saying it would keep up the punishment until the island's leadership stopped pro-independence
provocations.
The exercises were a preparation for what are being called precision strikes on simulated targets of key ports and energy facilities, according to the People's Liberation Army.
They involved multiple modular rocket launch systems with a range of 300 kilometers or about 180 miles, large enough to cover the entire island of Taiwan from the mainland. The rocket launches were part of a larger military exercise
codenamed Straight Thunder 2025A in which the Shandong aircraft carrier group and scores of
jets surrounded the island on Tuesday. We're showing a video here right now showing some of the
scenes and highlights from the most recent drills that are taking place right now
under straight thunder 2025A.
And as we mentioned in the story,
these are live fire exercises now,
and China's making sure that Taiwan,
and of course the United States knows
that at some point in the future,
they're gonna make a move on Taiwan.
Doc, if you were a Taiwanese citizen and you saw this video today, would it make you uneasy?
Of course it would. And I'd be reassessing my future in Taiwan, too.
And that may be part of the goal, too, is to force out those that would be in any kind of opposition to Taiwan.
But the fact of the matter is China's set its
sights on recapturing this island at some point. Whether it's going to be
worth World War Four or not is the question. We're already in World War Three.
The war with China will be at least World War Four or Five before we're at that number.
But China is on a rapid ascent to build up their military.
I'm telling you, they've got four new carriers coming out within the next year, and they're
not stopping there.
Alright, so here's a theological question.
If you were a Christian Taiwanese and you're watching these videos and you're looking at these news reports and you know in your spirit
This Chinese invasion is very very imminent
Could be this year. Maybe next year
Possibly could go as long until 2027
But somewhere between this year and 2027
There are going to be hundreds of thousands of Chinese PLA soldiers with
bayonets on their rifles marching across the island, killing every Taiwanese citizen.
If you were a Taiwanese Christian, would you be praying about what God wants you to do is a very serious question to ask.
Because I will tell you folks, it's coming to America in the 2030s.
You're going to have millions of Chinese troops entering the USA.
Right.
And preparation is not unbiblical either, Rick. Jesus warned his disciples and
Christian believers that there was destruction coming to Jerusalem. He even told them, here's
the timeline. Later on in the book of Acts, we read how prophets were raised up to speak
about famine. Here's how to prepare. And so once again, believers now, you have access to this information.
Let's say you were a Taiwanese Christian, and I've met some Taiwanese Christians who are bold believers for Jesus Christ,
but at what point do you make a decision? Do I stand and fight and sacrifice my life and my family,
or is it God's will for me to be somewhere else?
Difficult decisions, but no matter what they are in they should be thinking of preparation Rick. Yes and and not
assuming
This isn't going to happen even though they're telling us it's going to happen even though we see the preparation
It's not going to see that's that's the normalcy bias
They convinces yourself
that
What you see taking place isn't real?
It's not going to happen to you might happen to somebody else, but not you right somehow
The Chinese can invade the island, but it won't affect you
2,000 years ago Matthew, Jesus was asked three questions.
The questions were, you know, when's the temple going to be torn down?
You prophesied the temple's going to be destroyed.
When's it going to be torn down?
What's the sign of your coming?
What's the sign of the end of the age?
And so Jesus answered all three
questions. It's in Matthew 24 and 25. One long answer to three questions. Most people
don't realize that all of chapter 24 and 25 is an answer to those three questions at the
beginning of chapter 24.
Yes. But Jesus told His disciples, when you see the armies encircling Jerusalem, when you
see the abomination of desolation, come down off the roof, don't go inside to get your
duffel bag. Don't pack a bag.
Don't pack a lunch.
Go.
You know, Doc, you know why you said don't come down off the roof and go inside your
house and get your duffel bag?
I know where you're going, yes.
Because in those, in ancient times, the houses were so close together that the roofs formed
one long highway. You could
run on the roofs all the way to the end of the city. And so what he was saying is
you won't have time to come down and go inside your house and get your goodies.
You better run on that roof until you get to the end of the city. And then get out of the city and run,
run, run.
And that's for the folks who stayed. That's not for the people that might have left already
earlier.
Because the wise Christians packed up and left and they went to the Jordanian city of
Pella. And if you were with us on our Jordanian trip several years ago, we took you to Pella.
And you can still see the remains of the churches there.
There were many churches built in Pella, and the Christians stayed there.
These were Jewish Christians. They stayed there. Why? Because Jerusalem was destroyed.
There was nothing to go back to. They had to start a new
life. But they got out. Not one Christian died when the Romans invaded Jerusalem, but something
like one and a half million Jews died. But not one Christian Jew died, because the Christian Jews
obeyed Christ. He told them, this city is gonna be destroyed.
There's not gonna be one stone standing.
You need to get out of here.
Taiwan, the Chinese are coming.
America, the Chinese are coming.
We could shoot three million Chinese soldiers in
California, Oregon, Texas. We could shoot all day and all night millions and guess
what? There'd be a million more. There's more. They just keep coming.
They have 1.4 billion people. 1.4, yes.
Look, they're going to hit us with biological weapons.
They're gonna spray us like we're cockroaches.
You talk about, well, I'll fight for my country.
I'll fight.
No, you're gonna be laying on your back back twitching like a bug that got sprayed.
I hate to paint such a terrible, this is war.
This is what war looks like.
This is what World War III looks like.
They're going to spray the American people like we're bugs.
And then when we're all dead, they dispose of the bodies and they move the Chinese into
North America.
You need to be doing some serious praying.
I'm not going to stay here forever and give these reports. I'm just going to
tell you right now, I am not going to stay here forever and give these reports.
I am going to start doing things for the kingdom of God and for my own safety. I
believe these reports. I believe them. And there's a point where you have to say,
that's enough news. Cut it off. Enough news. The Chinese are coming. War is on
the horizon. Alright, so we'll go to... and when's this war? What am I telling you?
The early 2030s.
Yes.
You've got somewhere between five to seven years to get ready for the mother of all wars.
The standard in London.
German intelligence warns Putin preparing NATO assault by the end of the decade.
Let's see, the end of the decade, that would be 2030.
That's right.
German intelligence agencies are wary that the Kremlin could be preparing a full-scale
assault on NATO by the end of the decade according to multiple sources.
The German Federal Intelligence Service, the BND, has raised concerns according to European
Pravda and Bild, stating that Russia views the West as a systematic enemy.
The German publications reportedly obtained insight from sources within the country's
government.
Reports claim that Russia is rebuilding its military capacity with long-term confrontation in mind and has its Navy
and Air Force ready despite three-quarters of its land forces being
in Ukraine. Yes, the Russians are expecting a NATO invasion by 2030.
So it ends up being a self-fulfilling prophecy. Yes, both sides are getting ready for the other side to attack.
Right. Then defense news. So we start with
the first one is German intelligence says
war by 2030. Now we go to defense news
Russia seen ready for big troop move
after Ukraine troops says Dutch intelligence. Right. So Russia is seen ready to execute a large- big troop move after Ukraine troops says Dutch intelligence.
Right. So Russia is seen ready to execute a large-scale troop move about a year
after the conclusion of a ceasefire peace in Ukraine. It's coming from the
Dutch Minister of Defense Ruben Brikkelmans speaking at a security
conference Thursday, citing the military intelligence service of the Netherlands.
Brikkelmans asked his audience in the Dutch town of Arnhem
to imagine Russian President Vladimir Putin
stationing hundreds of thousands of troops on the border
with the Baltic countries for a large scale exercise.
He said the Ukraine's experience shows
we know only one week in advance whether such a move
would indeed be an exercise or a preparation for an attack.
But NATO does that all the time, Rick, to Russia.
The Dutch threat assessment appears even more acute than warnings by European Commissioner for Defense Andreas Kubilius
that Russia may be ready to test NATO's Article 5 mutual defense clause.
By 2030, that's in the article, citing Danish and German intelligence.
The European Commission is pushing European Union countries
for more defense spending to build up a credible military deterrent
to Russia by the decades in.
There you go again.
We don't know exactly how Putin will test NATO, Breckleman said.
We do know that if Putin, after Ukraine, attacks a neighboring country that is in NATO, Breckleman said. We do know that if Putin, after Ukraine,
attacks a neighboring country that is in NATO,
then we are part of it.
Then the Netherlands must also help defend NATO territory.
Our membership in NATO provides the Netherlands protection,
but also a responsibility.
An attack on one is an attack on all.
attack on one is an attack on all.
And they're setting themselves up for the attack. Yes.
They turn Russia into the boogeyman,
and now the boogeyman's coming to get them.
And the United States may be withdrawing from NATO,
and now they're in a lot of trouble
because they get the boogeyman all worked up and angry.
And the United States might not be there to defend them.
Right.
So is anyone else talking about 2030, Rick?
Yes, Poland.
Poland's a foreign minister.
Russia may be ready to attack Europe by 2030.
Do they have a mantra? Do they have talking points?
Is there a big calendar up in Brussels on a big board somewhere where they're just counting down the days to 2030?
It almost seems like it.
It is, Doc. This is what I want people to understand.
The warmongers have a calendar. They're telling you this war will explode by 2030.
You've got to take these people seriously. They're not going to get to 2030 and then
start handing out flowers. That's right. Well, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski on Monday
warned that Russia could be ready to attack Europe
by the end of the decade if Ukraine is forced to surrender.
Russia is currently unable to win against Ukraine alone,
so it would not be ready for a broader offensive immediately,
Sikorski told Polish radio TOK, TOK FM, but if Ukraine were
forced to capitulate and if Russia took
over its army, then this calculation would
change. Sikorski added that in such a
scenario, Europe must prepare for Russia's
ability to attack by the end of the
decade. And, Doc, just to help intensify the divisions and to anger Russia, our dear friend Lindsey Graham
and his warmonger buddy Richard Blumenthal. And the ghost of John McCain. And the ghost of John McCain and the ghost of John McCain there you see the news week Russia could face
500%
Uranium oil tariffs under GOP backed proposal. That's right
So US legislation that would slap hefty tariffs on key Russia's Russian airport exports if Moscow does not agree to a peace deal in Kiev
Is a significant step to ending President Vladimir Putin's brutality.
The founder of Ukrainian nonprofit Razum WeStan has told Newsweek, Senators Lindsey Graham,
a South Carolina Republican, and Connecticut Democrat Richard Blumenthal, who you see pictured
there on the screen, are the lead sponsors of a bipartisan bill that would impose primary and secondary sanctions
against Russia and entities supporting Putin's aggression if Moscow does not engage in peace
talks or undermines Ukraine's sovereignty.
The bill includes imposing 500 percent tariffs on imported goods from countries that buy
Russian oil, gas, uranium, or other products.
Romanko from Rasmus Stan said the bill could seriously
damage the Kremlin's fossil fuel revenues, which
remain one of its primary sources of war financing.
Romanco said that only a complete shutdown
of Russian oil and gas revenue can effectively
weaken Putin's desire for war and bring peace to Ukraine.
In a Tuesday release, US senators backing the sanctioned bill wrote,
The sanctions against Russia require tariffs on countries
who purchase Russian oil, gas, uranium and other products.
They are hard-hitting for a reason.
The dominating view in the US Senate is that Russia is the aggressor
and that this horrific war and Putin's
aggression must end now and be deterred in the future. Well just a reminder,
Lindsey Graham has always felt a warm place in his heart for Russia, at least
trying to fight Russia. Warm as in nuclear fires burning in the country.
Yes.
Doc, there are 50 senators supporting that bill.
Yes.
That's half of the U.S. Senate.
And they tell you what they're going to do.
A complete shutdown of the Russian oil and gas revenue.
Russia's going to take that as an act of war.
Right. Well, Russia's gonna take that as an act of war right I
Found a
2017 video of John McCain and Lindsey Graham in Kiev
This is just after the US backed revolution in Ukraine that toppled the elected government
the democratically elected democratically elected government.
Democratically elected government so that we could put a puppet government in power.
And so this is John McCain with, I mean, excuse me, this is Lindsey Graham talking.
John McCain in the background, this is 2017.
Listen to what they're telling the Nazis in Ukraine. This is the
beginning of the war with Russia. They're telling them. They're straight out saying
it. This is the beginning of the war. 2017. Here's watch.
I admire the fact that you will fight for your homeland.
Your fight is our fight.
2017 will be the year of offense.
All of us will go back to Washington and we will push the case against Russia.
the case against Russia. Enough of a Russian aggression. It is time for them to pay a heavier
price. Our fight is not with the Russian people, but with Putin. Our promise to you is to take your calls to Washington.
Inform the American people of your bravery and make the case against Putin to the world.
and make the case against Putin to the world. I believe you will win. I am convinced you will win, and we will do everything we can to provide you with what you need to win. And we have succeeded not because of equipment, but because of your courage. I thank you and the world is watching and the world is watching because we cannot allow
Vladimir Putin to succeed here because if he succeeds here, he will succeed in other
countries.
So doc, Russia invaded Ukraine February 24, 2022.
That video was recorded in early 2017, years before Russia invaded Ukraine.
Yes, but they had moved into Crimea at that time.
That's true, but they didn't militarily take it over.
The people voted.
That's right.
To join Russia.
So what we have here is McCain and Graham in 2017 telling the Ukrainian Nazi army there
that, hey.
We've got your back.
We've got your back you go you
keep killing Russians and we'll get you everything you need I'll go back both of
us will go back to Washington we'll get you the money we'll get you the ammo
whatever you need we're gonna kill Russians yeah and we're so proud of your
courage for dying in our proxy war yes, you got it right.
Okay, that's enough of World War III.
Let's talk about Civil War here in the United States.
So Elon Musk is resigning from Doge.
That was announced sometime around noon today, and says President Trump told his cabinet
and inner circle
that Elon Musk is stepping back from his government role.
Politico reported that the Tesla and SpaceX founder
will soon be returning to the business world
in a move that rattled the stock market
and caused shockwaves in Washington.
What do you think happened, Doc?
I think Elon Musk did not deliver in Wisconsin last night.
That was a big thumping.
In the Supreme Court justice race, the Republican got 45%, the far-left Democrat got 55%.
It would have been better if he had not even gotten involved in that race.
Elon Musk interjected himself in the race and the Democrats made it a referendum on
Elon Musk.
That's right.
Instead of, the Republican candidate just got pushed to the side and the public was
told you're voting on Elon Musk.
Yes.
Because Elon Musk was all over Wisconsin campaigning. And yesterday evening Elon Musk was on every Fox News show, every
single one. I mean he was on Waters, he was on Hannity, he was on the 5, and what
was he talking about? He was talking about this election. We've got to win
this election, got to win this election. And he didn't deliver. And so he's out. So you think President Trump told him today, pack up and go?
Maybe not in so many words, but, or maybe in so many words.
Now, supposedly, Elon was going to be leaving at the end of May anyway,
but I don't know. If things had gone successfully,
he wouldn't be talking about leaving at all, would he?
And I think also there's pressure from the cabinet secretaries in the Trump administration.
And Tesla stockholders.
And stockholders. But the cabinet secretaries are saying to President Trump,
you've got to put a chain on Elon Musk. He's not running our departments. He's coming in,
firing our employees. He's wrecking our departments, and we have no say in anything.
And so Donald Trump, maybe privately,
you may have had one or two cabinet secretaries who said,
if you don't get this guy under control, I'm resigning.
And I could see Marco Rubio being one of them, to say,
I'm done. I'm not going to put up with this stuff. Get him under control. So you
had opposition from the cabinet secretaries. You definitely, I'm sure
privately, House and Senate Republican leaders were telling
President Trump, this guy is killing us.
The optics are so bad.
You've got to shut him up.
He's everywhere.
He's talking, talking, talking, talking.
And one other aspect of that too, with his efforts in Doge, if you start digging too
far you're going gonna hit Republican veins.
Yes, that's true. But another thing, Doc, is he was stealing the spotlight from Donald Trump.
Which is the number one commandment. Do not do.
Do you remember at the beginning of the Trump administration, and Mr. Trump said to Robert Kennedy, he goes,
Bobby Kennedy, he's really popular, man is he popular, Bobby, don't be too popular.
That was an off-handed warning to Bobby Kennedy.
Don't think you're that popular, I'm the boss, I'm the president.
And Kennedy's not out there trying to get the spotlight.
No.
None of the other cabinet officials,
Elon Musk is not in the cabinet.
He's not a government employee.
He's under a classification that only allowed him
to be there 120 days.
Something like that, yes.
But he got addicted to the news media, the spotlight.
Everything was on Elon Musk.
And he tried to use the same strategy in Wisconsin that he used in the Trump, you know, last
days of the Trump campaign.
He made those personal appearances in Wisconsin, did those, you know, four-hour rally, slash
Ted Talks that he was doing, and also was doing the million dollar giveaways every day.
But it turns out that moved the needle
the other direction.
It did, it did.
There were more people that turned out for this election
than turned out supposedly for the presidential election.
No, I checked it.
There were more turned out for this election than the last statewide judicial race.
Staying correct. Yeah, yeah, I did check that. I wanted to see what the turnout was, but it was
very high for a off-year election. But the Republicans took a beating. Now here in Florida, there were two house seats,
Republican districts, and both Republicans won.
I'm going to drop down here to, I'm
going to skip over the other Elon Musk stories
because he's history now.
Before I get there, let's catch this one, number 24, New York Post.
White House suggests National Security Advisor Mike Walz
receive work-related emails on his personal Gmail account.
I think he's going to be the first...
Forget about Elon Musk, he's not an employee, he's not a cabinet official.
I think Mike Walz is going to be the first casualty.
He seems to be prone to major problems.
Rick, you and I have higher security thresholds than this guy does.
I know.
Can you imagine you and I discussing ministry business over Gmail?
I use Gmail for the most unimportant things in my life.
Right.
Certainly nothing to do with the ministry.
Right.
If you want to hack my Gmail, go ahead, you're not going to see anything.
But you're going to do national government communications on Gmail?
Right. And whether or not there was classified information on there or not doesn't make a difference.
To me, if I made that kind of excuse to you, Rick, would that be a good excuse?
Well, at least none of that stuff was classified, Rick.
What's wrong with you, you idiot?
Well, first thing, Google copies everything in Gmail.
Yes.
That's a known fact.
They copy every email.
If you send something in Gmail, Google keeps a copy of it.
Yes.
Just in case they're ever brought up by the FBI.
Skip down to number 27. Disgrace ex-New York City Councilman Dave Holleran,
arrested in Miami airport with thousands
of child sex abuse videos on his phone.
Federal agents got him at the Miami International Airport.
He'd just come back from Cuba.
Yes.
That was an interesting detail.
And so, they were waiting on him. And when they took his phone from him, they found 1,362
child sex videos on his phone. Lock him up. Lock him up. In Boston, WGBH Boston, local judge holds an ICE agent in contempt of court for detaining
a defendant in mid-trial.
So there was an illegal immigrant on trial in this Boston court and an ICE agent found
out that he was in the courthouse. They went and got him.
Over lunch.
During lunch they got him. And the judge went bonkers furious at the ICE agent and issued
a contempt of court order against the ICE agent. So the judge is Mark Somerville.
The agent is Brian Sullivan.
The defendant, Wilson Martel Lebron.
He was in court over charges that he
provided false information on a driver's license application
and that he forged a document. Well the feds said that's not
his real name. His real name is Juan Carlos Baez and he's from the Dominican
Republic and that he has two prior drug trafficking convictions and that he's in
the United States illegally and he's using an alias
name. But the judge got angry at the ICE agent for nabbing this guy and taking
him away. We've got a local TV report, NBC TV 10 in Boston, this is their report.
New video shows Wilson Martel LeBron being taken away by ICE agents in Boston. This is their report. Right there there is the new video
shows Wilson Martel LeBron being
taken away by ICE agents Thursday,
the first day of his trial for
allegedly falsifying information
on a license application.
Prosecutors from the Suffolk County
District Attorney's Office had no
knowledge that the defendant was
going to be arrested that afternoon.
By Monday, a judge found the state prosecution team obstructed justice.
There was a plan in place.
There was an operation in place.
This is a plan to stop the defendant, to disappear him during his ongoing jury trial.
Judge Mark Somerville dismissed the jury when ICE agents ignored his order to appear.
He heard arguments from both sides repeatedly overruling objections and threatening to throw out ADA Jack
Lucy's lawyer. Lucy was called as a witness where he admitted that ICE agent
Brian Sullivan shared his intent to take Martel LeBron into custody on two
occasions and that was after he sent this email.
You may be interested to read the attached brief, the defendant filed with the Massachusetts Supreme
Judicial Court. On page three, he admits he is quote an undocumented immigrant. The judge found
the troopers played a role in letting Ice know when he'd be leaving court. Now Ice is refusing
to return him for trial. We agree with the judge that it's an egregious move by ICE to do this. We intended
to try this defendant at trial. The judge dismissed the case with prejudice based on
prosecutorial misconduct and ordered ICE agent Brian Sullivan in contempt of court. So the
judge dropped the charges against the illegal immigrant, charges of using forged documents, fake driver's license. They dropped the charges.
Yes.
But he issued a contempt of court charge against the ICE agent who arrested him and took him
away. See, you've got Boston as a...
A municipal court judge.
Yes. Boston is a Democrat-controlled city. It's a Democrat judge.
The Democrats are pro-criminal.
They are pro-illegal immigrants.
Pro-criminal illegal immigrants.
It seems like the more violent the illegal immigrant is, the more the Democrats defend
them. And so here's another example of a Democrat judge
fighting for the rights of an illegal immigrant
in this country
and attacking the federal agents
who are trying to round these guys up
and get them out of here.
Doc, I don't know, this is somewhere
there's gonna be a showdown over this stuff. Yes, there don't know. This is somewhere there's going to be a showdown over this stuff.
Yes, there has to be.
These judges are out of control. I've got an update on the Virginia Jew Free article.
There's something strange about this case. Several days ago, I guess, what was it, Mondays when we first reported this?
Hiller-Gene DeSantis Right.
Dr. Bill Borgman Even that day, I thought, there's something strange about her posting
online.
I'm going to die in four days.
So, now, as you see, there's times of London confusion.
The story doesn't add up. So now, as you see this Times of London confusion,
story doesn't add up.
Right, so the family of Virginia Jouffre,
who you see pictured on the screen,
a victim of Jeffrey Epstein,
who sued Prince Andrew for sexual abuse,
said she did not intend to publicly share
that she was near death after a road accident.
Her family issued a statement addressing questions
about the veracity of her account of the collision,
which she said caused renal kidney failure
and left her with only days to live.
According to the statement,
Jouffre intended to post the message to her Facebook page,
which is set to private and not to the general public.
She also did not report to police the bus crash.
She said left her with life-threatening injuries.
Police in Western Australia, where
Jafri moved from the US with her husband and three children
back in 2020, however, said on Tuesday
there was a minor crash between a bus and a car in Nurgabe,
12 miles north of Perth, on the afternoon of March 24.
Still, they had not received reports of any serious injuries.
Now, quoting the article from the London Times,
it says, the car sustained approximately $2,000,
that's Australian dollars, worth of damage,
statement released by the police read,
there were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.
Police said the vehicle's driver was an unnamed 71-year-old and a 41-year-old woman was a
passenger in that vehicle.
Jafri's family said the police were called but said that there was no one available to
come to the scene.
They asked if anyone was injured and suggested that if they were, they should make their
way to the hospital.
Again, this is London Times.
The school bus driver had a bus full of distraught children
and left the scene to get them back,
saying he would file a police report, which he did later.
Virginia was banged up and bruised and returned home.
The family said Jafri's condition then worsened,
and she was admitted to Sir Charles Gardner Hospital
in Perth.
Her prognosis was not immediately clear. then worsened and she was admitted to Sir Charles Gardner Hospital in Perth, her
prognosis was not immediately clear. A lot of uncertainty now in this story now,
Rick, isn't there? It is. If she has made it up, Doc, her credibility is completely
destroyed and Prince Andrew will then be vindicated because he'll say, hey, she made up a story that she
was in a school bus wreck and it wasn't true.
She made up a story about me with Jeffrey Epstein.
It's not true.
So her credibility will be destroyed if this story turns out to be bogus.
We'll keep watching.
Not sure what's going on here. I want to go back to politics
very quickly. So yesterday's election here in Florida, two House seats had to be filled.
One was Mike Walz. His seat was captured by another Republican. And then, oh no, Mike
Walz is the one I'm going to talk about.
The other one was Matt Gaetz.
Yes.
So Matt Gaetz's seat was filled, but Mike Walz's seat was filled by Representative Randy Fine.
Yes.
Okay. So, and I think he became a state senator later, if I understand.
Yes, he was serving as a state senator.
He's a state senator.
So in this video, this is him as a member
of the Florida legislature.
And he introduced a bill to make it a hate crime
if you did anything that protested Israel.
And it was focused on, here about, I forget how long ago it was, if you did anything that protested Israel.
And it was focused on, here about, I forget how long ago it was, maybe two years ago, Rick,
where somebody was passing out anti-Israel flyers
down the West Palm area and different parts of the state.
And so he wanted to make a stand against that,
that you would get a five-year prison sentence for handing
out flyers.
Or unfurling a banner on a highway bridge.
Anything that he would declare a hate crime in his mind, if you criticize Zionism or Israel,
that's a hate crime and you're going to go to prison.
This is the man that Donald Trump chose to be the new congressman.
Before he even announced.
Before he even knew he was going to run.
Donald Trump announced it to the nation.
My man is Randy Fine.
Fine wakes up, sees that he's in the news, says, oh, I'm running for Congress.
I wonder how many other congressmen and women are chosen that way.
Who told Donald Trump, we want Randy Fine?
That's our man.
And he just spoke it out and we got Randy Fine.
You know, the district's not that far from us.
Yeah, just north of us.
Just north of us here. The Democrat was an extreme left progressive. So what the parties
gave the voters, the Democrats gave the voters a communist, and the Republicans gave the
voters a Zionist. And they said, here said here pick one and they chose a Zionist yeah why don't we get rid of the parties
all right here's the video Randy Fine
sure and again I would remind you that there is no there's no First Amendment
right to conduct there's a first amendment right to conduct.
There's a first amendment right to speech. And the things that we're targeting in the bill are not speech.
Again, if someone wants to stand across the street from my house and wave a sign on the sidewalk,
they have every right to do that. And this bill won't have anything to do with that.
But when it veers into conduct, and so the way we're going to approach this is through a hate crime kicker.
So if you project, if you graffiti a building,
it is a crime now. But if your motivation is hate, it will be a third degree felony,
you will spend five years in prison. If you want to litter, it's a crime right now. But if you litter
and if your motivation is a hate crime, it will be a third degree felony, you will spend five years
in jail. It is a crime right now to hang banners from an interstate. For obvious reasons we don't want to distract drivers. But if you do that and you have a hate crime,
a hate motivation, it will be a third degree felony, you will spend five years in jail.
How optimistic are you of moving this bill along?
I guarantee the bill will pass. And I never do that. So if I passed out flyers that said, Benjamin Netanyahu is a genocidal, murderous baby killer
who should be in prison.
Under Randy Fine, I would go to prison myself for five years.
If someone you gave a flyer to threw it on the ground.
They were littering, but now you have third degree littering because
of hate. I don't like these hate crime multiplication. Either it's a crime or it's not a crime.
And if you're graffitiing something, you're probably not doing it because you're happy.
And once again, the whole hate crime concept came from Zionists.
That's right. They invented that idea.
Their speech and then their special speech.
That's the way they view it.
Yes.
OK, one more before we wrap it up.
Detroit News, tens of thousands without power
in northern Michigan as a new storm moves in.
If you're not in Michigan, you don't know anything
about this story.
And I didn't know anything about it until yesterday, until our good friend Dennis Kelly
called me and told me he lives in upper Michigan.
And he said, we've been without electrical power since Saturday.
Yes, I was surprised to hear that.
And so these are some of the scenes up in northern Michigan.
I just didn't realize.
It was an ice storm.
Yes.
I've been through a few ice storms,
but this is pretty dramatic here.
And it may be even pretty dramatic for northern Michigan.
But I guess I had missed the stories about them
being without power for a few days.
There weren't any stories.
That's the point I'm making.
There were not any news
stories outside of Michigan about this storm. And so today, today is Wednesday, and there
are still tens of thousands of people with no electricity. Dennis told me, he said, Ricky
goes, I think we're going to see a number of deaths in this storm because there are elderly people who
are going to be frozen to death without heat, without food.
Nobody knows about them, where they're at.
The roads are closed, power lines are down, another storm coming in.
And you know, he may not have, Dennis told me he may not have power until this weekend right so
The point the reason I'm telling you this is uh
Dennis ought to be a poster child for prepping
He's a prepper. Yes, and I asked how he was doing. said we're okay. I guess you know I
Have we have a generator. I have plenty of fuel we have food see they did all the right things
They prepped they've been prepping for decades. They're prepared
Everybody told me he's you know this is one of the worst storms. He's ever seen is a lifelong resident of
But he told me, this is one of the worst storms he's ever seen. He's a lifelong resident of Michigan.
It's one of the worst ice storms he's ever seen.
So even prior prepping based on prior experiences is not enough.
You have to prep for something you've never seen before.
That's right.
So he was telling me, neighbors, he was going door to door asking people,
do you want to come over to our house? I have heat in my house. And the neighbors were huddled around
ovens, you know, running their gas, you know, oven in their kitchen. And he said the temperature was getting down.
I think the night before, he said it was 16 degrees.
No way to cook, frozen water lines, no communication.
Well, cells were working, yeah.
But the point I want to make is Dennis and Margie prepped.
And they prepped for the unexpected, they prepped for the unexperienced, a storm that
they've never experienced before.
And they were ready for it.
And this is what all of us need to keep in mind, to be ready for something to happen
when you least expect it, something that you've never experienced before.
And you know, we'll know next week the extent of the damage, how many lives have been lost.
I hope it's not any, but he said it's devastating.
He says, you have no idea how many roads are closed,
power lines down everywhere, and nothing moving.
He tried to get out on the road.
He goes, you're driving down the road,
and all of a sudden you have a power line
in front of your windshield. Right, and you're not going anywhere road and all of a sudden you have a power line in front of your windshield
Right and you're not going anywhere at that point, right?
so
pray for the folks in Michigan and prepare and
prepare yourself
For something and what the first thing that could be coming
is war with
Iran in May or June, but I'll tell you something, in the natural realm,
and we haven't talked about this, there are several volcanoes in the United States.
Yes.
Like Mount Adams in Oregon. There's some volcanoes that are rumbling. And so if you're in that region you better pay attention because
there could be a volcanic eruption. I'm noticing, Doc, there's, when you see multiple volcanoes
suddenly come alive, you know something's going on down beneath the earth. Alright?
When you see five or six volcanoes all rumbling, they woke up and suddenly they're having lots
of earthquakes, something's going on beneath the earth.
That's right.
So be prepared if you're in one of those volcano areas. Alright, thank you so much.
Rick, one more thing before we go, gold's up $20 again today.
Is it? Yes. So just to remind folks, Gold Co. is there.
They're standing by. They'll take your call. 844-960-GOLD.
844-960-GOLD. Gold is going up. We've watched it go up consistently and it is outperforming stocks and
Smart money is moving to gold so you want to be smart
And if you want to be smart call go go eight four four nine six zero code yes
thank you so much for watching us. Doc and I are going to be, I have to attend
a conference on a project that we are embarking on and there's just no way for me to produce
content, true news content while I'm in the conference.
It's just too much.
And I used to try to do that, and I'm
not going to do it on this one.
I've got to pay attention to the material in the conference.
So we will not have a true news program Friday and next Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday.
Then we will be back on Thursday.
But it's really important that we attend this conference
and that we have total focus on the information being presented.
And then later, I'll tell you what the project is.
I'm very excited about it.
And we do plan on having morning manna all those days.
I think so. I'm not even sure about that, Doc. I'm not even sure about that dog so I'm not
even sure about that I I guess I should talk that over with you
no it means us it means us doing morning manna for you me it'll be 5 a.m.
and that means for me to get up and prepare a lesson that's gonna be around

keep my immune system strong.
Because when I travel, this is when I put myself
under a lot of stress.
And that's when I become vulnerable
to respiratory viruses that are floating around.
And so I'm doing my best to try to pace myself
when I go on these trips now.
So anyhow, hey, you and I, we'll work it out here
and figure out what to do.
Amen.
All right.

Good morning, everybody.
Welcome to Morning Manna. This is your weekday Bible study program to make us
strong, mighty disciples in Christ, to do great exploits for our Lord and Savior,
to prepare for the coming of the Lord, to prepare our hearts, our souls for the day that we leave our body and meet and stand in
front of our Maker. That's why we gather here every day and also to equip
saints with knowledge of the Word that you may share the Word to those whom you
love and the people that God puts
in your path.
So we are in the ninth chapter of the book of Romans and today verses 19 through 24.
Let's pray.
Dear wonderful heavenly father, father, we are grateful for this day.
We are grateful for this day. We are grateful to
be alive. We are grateful to be saved by grace through our faith in your son, Jesus Christ,
and what he did for us at Calvary. Father, teach us more about your word. Teach us more
about your kingdom. Teach us more about faith, about grace. Teach us more, Father,
in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. And good morning, everyone. Welcome to Morning
Manna. We're in the 8 o'clock hour here on the East Coast, live from Morning Manna.
And we're so glad that you're here with us along with about 300 other people
from around the world that have checked in. We are continuing our study in Romans chapter 9
today picking back up at verse 19. We're continuing our study in chapter 9 where the essential theme
has been about the relationship between the Jews, Israel, and the gospel. And Paul's continuing that
today in his letter to the Romans picking back up at verse 19. I'm reading from the King of James.
in his letter to the Romans, picking back up at verse 19. I'm reading from the King of James.
Thou wilt say then unto me, why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
Nay, but, O man, who art thou that thou repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay,
the same lump to make one vessel unto honor
and another unto dishonor?
What if God willing to show his wrath
and to make his power known,
endured with much long suffering,
the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction?
Verse 23, and that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy,
which he had afford prepared under glory,
even us whom he hath called not of the Jews only,
but also of the Gentiles.
So this is where Paul starts tying it all up together, saying that the
gospel is not limited to the Jews, but is also now available to the rest of the world as well.
Amen. Verse 19.
You will say then to me, why does he still find fault for who withstands his will?
still find fault for who withstands his will. Paul reverts to one of his favorite
teaching techniques, asking his students a question so that he can answer his own question.
That's a good teaching method. It is and we see Paul does this often.
So Paul is anticipating the objection to his teaching on divine sovereignty.
He just finished in the verses that we studied yesterday, he talked about the hardening of Pharaoh's heart and mind and that it
was a God who hardened his mind and heart but it was because Pharaoh had a
hard heart you know closed mine and stubbornness and rebellion and so God
just took him up on it and said well let's just go all the way with it. But it was done for, it was done for God's glory.
And the glory was the miraculous deliverance of the Hebrew people. The verses that we're studying today, they echo ancient debates about God's justice.
These questions are similar questions are in Job, Isaiah, Jeremiah.
Where God's people ask questions about God's sovereign right
to make decisions that don't seem fair in human reasoning. So we'll move on in this. So the question challenges God's justice by asking
why he still holds people accountable for sin if he sovereignly directs their path.
sovereignly directs their path. There you go. That's the question at hand.
How can it be that God chooses one for honor and one for dishonor?
How does that fit into where we are and the choice that we make?
Yes. So the question Paul has asked in verse 19, you will say then to me, why does he still find fault
for who withstands his will?
The objection implies that if God finds fault with sinners,
the blame is inconsistent with their actions.
Such blame seems inconsistent
when their actions align with his will.
Yes.
Another way of asking Paul's question,
if God follows only his own will and pleasure,
why does he complain about sinners?
Right, that's it in a nutshell.
And it's a great question, isn't it?
It is.
And it's over my pay grade. I've not made any allusions about the fact that Romans is challenging to me
to teach. This has been a difficult book for me and I'm doing my best to teach it. Maybe a year from now, we'll come back
and revisit this book and maybe I'll have a clearer, more deeper understanding of Paul's
arguments here. But it is a, there are a lot of very deep theological issues in the book of Romans. And you can't be flipping about it.
So, yesterday we talked about Pharaoh. So, since God hardened Pharaoh,
how, why did Pharaoh face judgment for resisting God's command?
If it fits into his will.
Yes, and that's a real very good question.
Yes.
So was Pharaoh at fault? Was he pre-programmed to resist?
What do you think, Doc?
Well, I mean, we have to think of it in terms,
and we're limited in this, of course,
think of it in terms of God's position.
He's omniscient, he's all-knowing, he's all-powerful,
he's all-wise. Being an omniscient. He's all-knowing. He's all-powerful. He's all-wise. Being an omniscient,
he knew the choices that Pharaoh was going to make. And so, but Pharaoh still is involved in the
process because we read in the New Testament, you can harden your own heart. You can harden your heart
and yet we also know that God can harden your heart too.
So the scripture says both can be at the same time.
Our minds, our mud brains can't figure all this out.
But we simply trust God's word that God allows man the opportunity of free will or choice, and yet God is sovereign as well.
If we take Jesus and the cross and grace out of the equation,
we set that aside. Jesus, the cross and grace. We just set that aside. Aren't we all,
the cross and grace. We just set that aside. Aren't we all programmed by the fall of Adam? Aren't we all programmed to sin, to resist God's will, to do our own thing, to pursue whatever we
want? Isn't that us? If we take grace out of the equation?
If there was no grace, if there was no cross,
if there was no salvation through Christ,
I'd be a sinner.
Because it would be the only thing I knew.
Right.
I didn't, on my own accord say,
I don't wanna be a sinner anymore, I wanna be righteous.
No, God intervened in my life
and offered me forgiveness.
And he penetrated my rebellious heart, my mind, my heart that was inclined towards sin.
Liked it, saw nothing wrong with it.
If you would ask me, before 1978, I would have said, what do you mean sin and what's wrong with it?
God intervened in my life.
I didn't know about forgiveness.
I didn't know about salvation.
I didn't know about grace.
So Pharaoh was Pharaoh. He just did what he did naturally, which was resist what's right.
Look, those who perish must blame themselves. Yes, you can't say, well, it's just my nature, or you can't say, well,
and that would be some conclusions that you draw from Romans 9.
I can't help myself.
That's the way I'm made.
God did this to me.
That's the excuse you hear a lot of people say today regarding their sin,
especially sexual sin. God made me this way. That's the excuse you hear a lot of people say today regarding their sin, especially
sexual sin, God made me this way.
So you can't rest on that.
The imaginary objector here in Romans that Paul is presenting, that objector is asserting
that nobody can successfully oppose God's will
because he has absolute power. And that's an undeniable fact.
That's the objection Paul is saying,
I know what you're thinking.
But that thinking is fatalism
that says that human actions are irrelevant if God's decrees are unassailable,
that you're shifting blame to the divine as though human choices, human will has no part
to play in this. And that very question is asked in verse 20.
Why have you made me this way?
God, why did you make me this way?
But he did not make us sinners.
That's right.
He made us righteous.
He made us in his image.
Adam's fall is what brought sin.
Adam's fall is what brought sin. And so it is our natural inclination ever since the Garden of Eden to sin, but it was not God's will. So he intervenes with the
gospel and says here's a path, here's a way out of your damnation.
You presently are damned.
And tomorrow you're going to be more damned than you're damned today.
Because every day you live, you're adding time.
But here is a pathway, here is an escape.
It's the cross.
If you take this route, you can escape damnation.
The people who resist the message of the cross
willingly invite damnation.
And at some point, and only a sovereign, righteous, fair God knows when that person's heart and
mind and soul crosses the line of no return. So, the objector in Paul's argument here is reasoning that if God's will is irresistible,
people lack the ability to defy his decrees.
In other words, they're making God guilty.
Yes.
It's not my fault. I'm just made this way. Right.
So if humans cannot resist God's will, the imaginary objector here in Paul's argument
is arguing that God's judgment appears unfair as people are merely
enacting What he has already ordained?
It assumes that there that a plan or a purpose of God must destroy the freedom of man
But that logic
concludes that if God still finds fault despite his control, a contradiction arises
in holding people accountable for unavoidable actions.
So Paul rejects this reasoning.
We're going to see it in verse 20. He affirms that the creature cannot judge the creator.
Doc, you can jump in anytime,
because I'm telling you this is heavy stuff to teach.
God's sovereignty remains unassailable. His will governs all outcomes.
Yes. You cannot avoid that in the scripture. You just can't. as much as people try to unwind from it.
And there are certain classes of theologians that
minimize that, but God's sovereign. We don't understand his ways. His ways
are not our ways. He's above us.
How he chooses one and doesn't choose another,
and yet at the same time we're in that process too.
Like I said, these mud brains of ours can't comprehend both these things
happening at the same time. It's one of those things we accept by faith, that God
is both sovereign and that God allows man free will.
Both exist, both are present in scripture.
You can't avoid both.
And what some theologians try to do is they try to go,
they either sit in one camp or another camp.
When I say, you know, it's the same camp,
it's the same place.
It's just that we're limited in our human reasoning and knowledge and understanding it.
That's why faith is necessary.
So we have two parallel forces at work here.
Human responsibility and divine sovereignty. Sinners choose rebellion and God holds them accountable for that choice.
He gives people an escape route, the cross. When they repeatedly reject it, at some point God says,
okay, that's your decision.
I'm not coming back and I won't offer this escape route to you again.
That terrifies me.
That just terrifies me, Doc. I think what if I had continued to resist God's grace? Would
I have lived out the rest of my life not knowing that I was damned? This is why the gospel's got to be preached. Yes.
God doesn't tell us to...
You know, He tells us to proclaim the news, but not the world news.
He says proclaim the good news.
The good news is He's made a way for you to escape damnation.
That's the good news.
And if you get down to it, if we have no choice in the matter, the gospel is unnecessary.
That's right.
If we have absolutely no role to play in it at all, that God chooses one
doesn't choose another, then what's the purpose of the gospel?
We just hollering into the wind?
Because that's where hyper-Calvinism takes you.
It says that you don't have anything to do with it.
Oh, the scripture says, it looks at it differently.
Where God is both sovereign and at the same time
allows man to choose salvation. I don't get it. I don't understand it. I don't understand
electricity, but I know it works. choice integrates human actions and we are not puppets but we are responsible
agents. God's sovereignty does not negate human accountability. All through
the Bible from the Old Testament through the New Testament, he says, choose life.
Why do you want to die?
Those choices are throughout the Scriptures.
He's always giving men and women the call to make a choice, but
at some point he will affirm their choice. Yes. At some point, if you continue
to resist God, he will then seal you in that rebellion. And you can't get out
because only by the Holy Spirit can you be called to the cross. Aren't you glad
you got out before the door shut? Glory. God shut the door.
Hmm.
There's nothing that grieves me more than to hear about somebody in their 70s, 80s, 90s that denies the existence of God.
Yes.
Oh my. You're so close to death. You're so close. You're 80 years old and you're still
denying God. You're still denying the existence of Jesus Christ. God's grace is letting you live
another day to give you a one more day to make the right choice. But there'll be a day that God just stops that person's heart.
And they're sealed for eternity in their rejection of Christ.
And I don't want to hear anybody say, well,
we don't know the person's heart.
Yes, we do.
Rebellious.
We know.
Yeah, we do know. We just don't want to admit it. Right. Isn't
that really the case? Yes, because you would have to admit what their fate is. Well, we what they thought the moment they died. I'm not a believer. I'm not a big cheerleader
for deathbed conversions.
Neither am I. I don't trust them.
You? I think you play in Russian roulette with your soul.
That's right.
You know, King Constantine put off baptism until he was on his deathbed.
And the reason was he feared he was sinned after baptism.
So he waited until he was in his last hours, thinking, I can't mess up now. But we believers, we anchor our faith in grace that salvation flows from God's mercy, not
human merit. So we go back to Pharaoh.
Pharaoh's defiance in Exodus 9 shows his willing resistance.
He willingly, purposely made a determined effort to resist God's will, and yet God's will prevailed.
God accomplished His purposes in spite of Pharaoh's opposition, but God used Pharaoh's
opposition to bring about His will and to bring glory to God.
Yes.
And God said, I'm gonna squeeze you
and I'm gonna get glory out of this.
What about Judas?
God got glory out of it.
If there'd been no Judas,
there'd been somebody else that God would raise up,
but it was Judas.
And Jesus, the way he presented it in the gospels,
Judas didn't have a choice about it either.
He was going to betray the Lord,
and yet he had to choose to do it.
So I know this is a hard theological concept
to kind of wrap your mind around,
but both things exist.
Both exist.
We are both sovereignly moved by God,
and yet at the same time, we respond to the Spirit of God
or reject the Spirit of God.
It's a tough thing.
Some people, Doc, would say,
well then God made Judas betray Jesus.
But the truth is,
God chose Judas because he knew
how evil Judas' heart was
and that he would never repent.
So Judas was chosen for that role because he was evil.
He was deceptive.
He was a fake disciple the entire time.
Do you have an explanation for Judas's role?
Other than what the Gospels say, that it was prophesied in Scripture that, maybe not my
name, but that there would be a betrayer among Jesus.
Yes.
And there comes a place in the gospel,
but that is really revealing.
That it says that Satan entered his heart.
Yes.
Okay, and so did he not have a choice about that?
I believe he opened himself up to put complete.
Was he open to it?
Yeah. He was open to it? Yeah.
He was open to it.
Yes.
You can't make any excuse for sin.
You can't sit there and say, God made me this way,
or the devil made me do it, or anything else.
It's still you.
You're the sinner.
You're the one who sinned.
It wasn't God that made you sin, it wasn't the
devil that tricked you into sin. No, you sinned. You knew what the word of God was and you decided
to go against it. So, Pastor Alexander McLaurin said that there's philosophical tension between
divine will and free will.
So McLaren couldn't understand it either, Doc.
He just said, hey, there's tension between the divine will and free will.
Israel's rejection of Christ reflects both divine hardening and their willful rebellion and unbelief.
Yes. So, we can trace these trends.
God's purpose unfolds through human decisions, not apart from them.
Somehow God's will is worked out through the decisions of humans.
He doesn't make them do it, but he knows what they're going to do. this imaginary objector saying if God's will is supreme, why judge?
Humans lack understanding to challenge God.
Right. Now, let's put in Paul's perspective of his day and in our day today. So Paul is saying this to the church in Rome,
comprised mainly, probably I would have to say,
maybe 80, 90% Jews.
Okay, and so even at this time in Paul's day,
the Jews had the perception
that they were God's chosen people.
They were God's chosen people. Yes, God had chosen them in the past.
But what now Paul is saying to the people of his day, the Jews of his day,
in that he's making the case here, as we get further along in chapter 9,
that God has a sovereign plan. It's not based upon your perception of God's choice,
but what God actually chooses. And what God has chosen in Paul's day
is to bring the Gentiles in
and have the same benefits of a covenant
that the Jews had enjoyed all up until that period of time.
And the way this fits into our view today is that,
you know, of course in dispensationalism and evangelicalism, the mantra is Israel is God's
chosen people, or the Jews are God's chosen people. Well, they were his chosen people for a period of time, but now God has opened that up to the gentiles.
I think we do a real disservice by saying that,
by giving the perception that Israel is God's chosen people alone, that there's no other chosen people.
That's, but that's what has gotten down into the bone marrow of the church today.
And what is the result of that?
And Paul's trying to head this off here.
What that ends up resulting in is a two-way path to salvation.
Yes.
It says there's one path for Jews and another path for non-Jews.
But Paul is heading this off at the pass now to know God's made a sovereign choice
and it's not based upon your view of God's choice but upon his actual choice.
And God's chosen bringing the Gentiles and make them part of his people, his Israel.
and God's chosen bringing the Gentiles and make them part of his people, his Israel.
So Doc, I've got some interesting things to say later
in this lesson about who comprises this citizenship
of Israel among the Jews.
So the last thing I wanna say about this verse is it's presumptuous for the creature
to question the Creator.
Yes.
Bottom line, the creature has no standing to question the Creator. Romans 9 20, but indeed, oh man, who are you to reply against God?
Will the thing formed ask him who formed it?
Why did you make me like this?
Well, that just affirm what I just said.
The creature has no standing to question the creator.
So in this verse, Paul delivers a sharp rebuke, a rebuttal to the objection that he stated
in verse 19. Verse 19 he's silencing complaints about God's fairness
with a sharp call to recognize God's sovereignty
This is a a bold theological
declaration of God's absolute authority
Asserting that God governs his creation without needing human approval.
Amen. He doesn't need to check in with us, does he?
No, nope. And you know, doc, and I did it this morning in my prayer and I do it often.
I express to my father my feelings, my thoughts, my desires, my objections, my concerns, even
my suggestions.
I'm at home, I'm at peace, I'm comfortable talking to my father.
But then I always end it with,
the father, now that I've stated my view,
tell me yours and I will obey.
See, he's not offended, he's not threatened,
he's not intimidated by you talking to him like that.
Get it off your chest, say it.
Just express to him what you're thinking,
what you're feeling, what you're hoping, what you fear.
Express it, he's your father.
But at the end, you always conclude with,
but not my will, but yours.
I will accept your will.
I mean, sometimes I just say to him with a smile,
I'm trying to help you father,
I'm just giving you some suggestions.
I'm trying to help you, but we're gonna do it your way.
You know, I'm totally at peace,
I'm comfortable in the presence of
my Father, but I'm, according to his own will,
favors with mercy them whom he pleases.
He chooses who He will be merciful to. It's His mercy.
He can do whatever He wants to do with His mercy.
You understand He's not merciful to every human on the planet?
That's something that needs to be said again and again and again.
He is not merciful to every human on the planet.
There are seven billion humans today.
He's not showing mercy to every one of them. He is offering them grace.
He's offering them a choice, a choice that will allow His mercy to flow to
them. But humans are not entitled to His mercy. See, that's the popular worldview of God.
Yes.
Where all His children...
Yes.
And there's different pathways to God.
No, there's one pathway.
It goes through Calvary.
That's right.
Jesus said.
And it has a stop at the cross.
So shall the thing form say to him that formed it?
Imagine you make a clay pot and the pot starts talking to you saying, I don't like the shape
I'm in.
I don't like where you put the handle.
So Paul's exposing the absurdity of challenging divine will. And he's redirecting the focus to God's rightful rule. You know
why people have trouble with that? Rebellion. Yes. Rebellion. I am shocked by the number of people in churches that really aren't submitted to God.
And how do you know? Start talking to them about the Word, where they are out of alignment with
the Word, and watch how fast they get puffed up. Yes.
Or how can-
I don't see it your way.
I don't see it your way.
What I just read to you is God's word.
Well, I don't see it your way.
No, you see it your way.
I don't want you to see it my way.
I want you to see it God's way.
This is what his word says.
Well, I don't accept that.
Well, then you don't accept God's word.
Well, I'm going to find another preacher to tell me what that means.
Okay, you can shop around until you find one that tells you what you want to mean.
If you look long enough, you'll find one.
Because there are pastors that will say and do anything just to get
another member in their church. That's right. So God's will trumps human reasoning. God God does not debate with humans. He will engage you in meaningful conversation
to help you understand that He's right.
You don't have to be afraid of saying,
Father, right now I don't think you're right,
but please help me know that you're right.
He's not gonna rebuke you for saying that.
He desires that his sons and daughters
come to a knowledge that he's right.
Some of you might be old enough, like me, you remember a TV
show in the 50s, Father Knows Best. Oh, they wouldn't make a TV show like that today. Today
would be transvestites know best. Right. Drag queens know best. But there was't time. Fathers are always wrong. Yeah. But now father would be wearing a dress.
Yes.
Can you imagine, Doc, back in the 50s,
showing a TV show with a family
with the husband wearing a dress?
Danny Thomas wearing a dress.
So.
But, father knows best.
Your heavenly Father knows best.
Just accept it.
And once you do, life becomes so much easier.
That His will is right, His plan is right, and that He loves you and his plan for your life is right.
Even when sometimes it hurts.
Sometimes he uses pain to teach.
I'm not talking about physical pain,
but sometimes he uses pain in our lives to teach us.
So Paul's issuing a stern rebuke to those who dare question God's justice. confronting their arrogance with a reminder of their status as creatures.
There's a response in Job, Job 38, verses one through four,
where God responds to Job.
One of my favorite responses of God to Job was,
where were you when I hung the planets?
I looked around, I don't recall seeing you, Job.
I looked around, I don't recall seeing you, Job. When I put the stars in their place,
Where were you?
You weren't even a twinkle in your daddy's eye, because your daddy wasn't even around yet.
Right.
So, God owes no explanation to any human.
Just accept it.
He owes no explanation to anybody.
I mentioned earlier the potter clay analogy, you know.
It's God's sovereign right to shape his creation as he sees fit.
Any being has the right to fashion his work according to his will, his plan, his purpose.
The clay doesn't dictate to the potter, nor should men and women dictate to God, because
man has no right to arraign God in his thoughts. Isaiah 29, 16, what it teaches is that it's folly, foolishness for the clay to challenge
the potter. It's total foolishness because God has complete authority over his work.
We'll move down to the next verse, verse 21. Or hasn't the potter a right over the clay from the same lump to make one part a vessel
for honor and another for dishonor?
Now, Doc, this one has been a verse that has troubled me for many years.
Are you telling me you deliberately made a vessel for dishonor?
You want to take a crack at it before I try it?
What we perceive to be dishonor.
Yes.
The same clay can make a fine porcelain cup or just a standard plant base.
One vessel is used in certain situations
as if they're honorable.
The other is used in lesser situations
in comparison dishonor.
And so they're still useful to the potter.
Both the cup and the vase are still useful to the potter,
but it's in the potter's purview to determine how that clay is used.
It's not clay's decision. Clay isn't going to, oh if I just think hard enough I'm going to be a fine
piece of porcelain china. No. It's in God's sovereign purview to say no, you're going to be a plant base.
purview to say, no, you're going to be a plant base. How does that work when it comes to the free will of man?
I still don't in the human sense, there's a contradiction, but to me, they fit hand
and glove together that God allows man to participate in that.
How by submitting to God by the clay saying yes, by the clay saying mold me, shape me
into whatever you want me to be.
If it's a fine piece of china, shape me to that.
If it's a lonely plant vase that'll never see
the sights of the world, shape me, show me Lord.
And so God has a sovereign plan for everyone
and a purpose for everyone.
Our role in it, our only role is submission.
That's our only role when you get right down to it,
is submitting to the word of God.
Because a potter, if he senses that the clay on the wheel
has some sort of inherent flaw, that he is not gonna be able to mold out of the the
the
the
the
the
the
the wants until he gets what he wants and that is his glory.
All right so tell me if this analogy is right Doc so the potter has a big lump of clay
he cuts it in half he's going to make two vessels it's the same clay same clay
clay. Same clay. He takes one lump and he turns it into a beautiful flower vase. He takes the other lump of the same clay and he makes a spittoon. Is that what this is
teaching? Sure. One is for honor, one is for dishonor.
But that perception of honor and dishonor is a human quality.
Yes.
Both serve to honor God if they're used according to His purpose. The main thing to understand is God's absolute right to shape human destinies, which is a
very difficult concept to grasp. So, God possesses undeniable authority as the creator to exercise complete control,
just as the potter holds power over his clay.
And nobody disputes the potter's right to mold the clay
according to his will.
So God's sovereign choices over his creation
stand beyond human challenge.
Yes.
And so why is Paul saying all this? He's really not making
an argument about free will and sovereign will or anything like that. This isn't a lecture or TED
talk on that. Paul is laying the foundation and the framework for saying God's bringing the Gentiles into the Israel of God.
The Gentiles are coming in.
And it's God's sovereign choice that he's doing this.
Because he's sovereign.
He can do that.
It's not up to you, man, to decide who gets in
and who doesn't get in.
It's God's sovereign will that decides it.
And God has decided, as Paul make the case here uh later on the Gentiles
have now been chosen or at least some Gentiles have been chosen to be part of the Israel of God
you may not like it but God says you got to lump it so of vessels of, vessels of dishonor. Doc, I'm thinking about what you have told me many times.
Your father used to say to you about space travel.
Yes. I remember one time, this is a great story.
You know how little kids always say what they're going to be when they grow up.
One says I'm going to be a policeman,
another says I'm going to be a fireman.
One day I told my dad, I said, I want to be a policeman. Another says I'm going to be a fireman. One day I told my dad, I said, oh, I want to be an astronaut.
And my dad, anybody else, said, oh, that's great.
Yeah, fight the moon.
And my dad said, you know what, Ray?
Not everybody can be an astronaut.
Ha ha ha ha.
You know, looking back, looking back, I understand why my dad said that. But at the time, as a kid, it left me confused.
Well, I want to be an astronaut.
Why can't I be an astronaut?
And so you can't be an astronaut.
Don't let me be an astronaut and say for dishonor yes you can't be an astronaut
if you're not equipped with what is necessary for space travel unless you're a dei higher
then you can yes and then then you can then they blow up the ship so so the way I interpret that is, hey, look, travel in the groove, in the road that you're
meant for, okay?
Don't try to get into somebody else's groove, into their pathway.
There's nothing wrong with either pathway.
All right, so Doc, I'm going to jump in some notes here. the same way.
All right so doc I'm going to
jump in some notes here.
I talked about this the single
lump the same lump.
The gods the potter starting
with one lump. So to me that single lump of clay represents the mass of humanity as sinners.
Here it is. We're made from clay.
So vessels under honor, does that mean these are the people God chose for salvation and
noble use in His kingdom? honor are those that he leaves behind in sin?
That's very difficult for me to understand.
Because did he make them, when he made them, did he say he say I'm you're going to be left behind in sin
Now we're getting into do a deep waiting area predestination
And it's
And the ultra
And it's, and the ultra predestination doctrine says, yeah, God made some to be saved and made others to be damned.
That's the way it is.
And yet God says his desires at all come to know Christ.
Or choose you this day who you will serve. Yes. So how do you reconcile these two things doc?
Well one thing is you've got to keep in mind that once again God's ways are not our ways.
He operates at a different level than we do. God has reconciled these ideas. He has no issue with them.
God has no issue with these. The only issue is us in our perception of it. How
we view it. How the, if you will, how the pot views the potter and looks
around sees all the other objects in the potter's house and saying,
well, that seems to be a better one or this seems to be a worse one.
But that's only the pot making a judgment against the other pieces in the potter's house.
But the potter had a plan and had a choice that was made for that particular pot.
Our job, once again, is to submit.
I'm gonna be God's cup, or I'm gonna be God's vase,
or God's plate, or whatever it is he's fashioned us to be.
Our role is to submit to that.
That's really, when you get right down to it,
our only free will choice is submission.
Yes.
Because even if we have choices, unless that choice agrees
with the word of God, it's not of God.
OK, we're one minute past nine.
I want to get verses 22, 23, 24.
Go through these briskly here.
Verse 22, what if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much patience,
vessels of wrath prepared for destruction?
So, he's continuing with the potter clay analogy, and he's detailing why God allows vessels of wrath to persist rather than destroying them outright.
Vessels of wrath fit it for destruction.
I have that question, why do you allow evil people to hang around so long and do so much evil?
Well he tells us in the next verse, the very next verse, he tells us the reason why.
It says, and that he might make known the riches of his glory, the riches of his glory
to make it known.
That's why.
It's the only reason why they're allowed to even exist.
My glory says God could argue with me. I made it for my glory.
So yeah, you're right doc. He's setting up the contrast. God's justice towards the wicked
prepares the way for his mercy toward the humble.
And he gets glory. His wrath upholds righteousness while his patience reflects mercy.
Again, in this present age we see wickedness all around us, corruption, evil.
And people ask the question, why does God allow evil?
And they'll even go so far, why did God create evil?
Well, God didn't create evil.
But why does God allow it?
Why, if God is completely sovereign and just, why does evil persist?
That's a human question. That's not a God question. God's already dealt with evil.
But from a human perspective, we say, well, evil, it seems like evil is running rampant in the world.
Why does God let that keep going on? Well, why do you?
evil is running rampant in the world. Why does God let that keep going on? Well, why do you?
Why don't you do something about it?
He did do something. He gave his son. That was his solution. Yes. And what more could he do?
What more could he do? If you're going to say to say why does God allow evil and God says, okay? I'm gonna get rid of evil. I'm gonna change everybody and make them only do good things then they're not human beings anymore
Are they they're just robots or automatons?
They're nothing
So God souls created man and gave him the opportunity to reject him. To me, that's one of the biggest things,
you know, biggest challenges for me.
God created man, allowing him the opportunity to reject his creator.
Yes. So Paul says here, Doc,
what if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known,
endured with much patience vessels of wrath
prepared for destruction. So vessels of wrath are those who persist in rebellion
actively, deliberately, purposefully rejecting God's mercy and then aligning themselves with His wrath.
So they they're self-fitted. They put themselves in that category by their
actions, their thoughts. Affided to destruction. That speaks of their readiness for judgment. Sinners prepare themselves
for judgment. They bring judgment upon themselves. The wicked are hardened by their own actions.
God does not make them,
design them for destruction.
But they,
they, by their own thoughts and actions, make themselves fit for ruin, for judgment, for destruction.
And so the destruction that comes upon them is a just outcome because they spurn God's
mercy throughout their entire lives. Verse 23, and he that might make known the riches of his glory
on the vessels of mercy which he prepared beforehand for glory.
Yes, for his glory.
For his glory.
The purpose of man is to glorify God.
That's your purpose.
Why were you born? To glorify God and to enjoy
Him forever. There are religious people whoify him, and that you enjoy him.
Who wants an obedient child that doesn't love you?
What's the purpose. His mercy is to display his glory. So God will receive glory for himself. His grace shines. It's the centerpiece of everything that he does.
And verse 24. This is where he brings it home now. This is the whole reason why he's gone
through all of this. Yes. Us, whom he also called not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles.
Now Paul is transitioning from God's sovereign preparation of vessels of mercy to their identity. He's revealing that his call extends beyond Israel
to all nations.
Amen.
To prove that the Gentiles might be called
as well as the Jews.
He is now fulfilling the promise he made to Abraham in Genesis 12 3 that all nations would
be blessed through him.
Yes.
Again, the Zionists and the Christian Zionists are falsely teaching today that all the nations
as God prophesied that all the nations would be blessed by
the state of Israel that is a lie it's blasphemy why is it blasphemy it
blasphemes Jesus Christ yes he is the blessing to all the nations. He is the light, he is the blessing, not a political state of Israel.
Amen.
Salvation and blessing flow through Jesus Christ, not a political state.
So Paul is, he's now, he's challenging Jewish exclusives Jewish exclusives of them.
He's dismantling their racist notion that salvation belongs only to Israel by birthright. So, we've got this pivot that God's mercy is building a multi-ethnic church that crosses
national and racial and ethnic boundaries.
He said, even us, he's identifying the vessels of mercy that even us encompasses all whom God has
sovereignly chosen for salvation.
As salvation no longer is confined to the nation of Israel. Yes.
But salvation has now pushed beyond the boundaries of Israel.
Praise God. And aren't you glad it did?
And now you understand why Jesus said to us,
go into all the world.
To preach the good news.
Go into all the world.
See, when he first came, when he was on earth,
he went to the people of Israel,
to the lost house of Israel.
But after the cross, there's the whole world, go.
The whole world is now invited to come into Israel.
And the apostles followed the pattern of Christ, the commands of Christ, and went to the Jews, went to the synagogues, and the Judaizers basically ran them out. And so, you know, but the Gentiles,
they were like, this is great.
This, you know, we've never heard such things before
that we can be saved, that we can have an eternity ourselves.
And that there were people of the Jewish faith
who did not want the Gentiles to be saved.
the Jewish faith who did not want the Gentiles to be saved?
What do the Zionists do with Old Testament prophecies
like Hosea 2.23? I will say to them which were not my people,
thou art my people.
Isaiah 49.6, I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles.
Psalm 22, 27, All the ends of the world shall turn unto the Lord.
Joel 2, 32, Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered.
Malachi 1, 11, My name shall be great among the Gentiles. God's plan was always global.
But they would say a lot of those days, even in the days of ancient Israel, God's plan was global.
Right. But they told them. Yeah. God, he told them, he told the Jews, this is a global plan.
Right. But they would respond and saying on the Zionist side, they would say that's a future
kingdom of Israel. Right. Among evangelicals, they'd say that's the thousand year reign of
Christ. And the Gentiles will be bowing down to the Jews.
That's right.
That's exactly what they teach.
It's a racist eschatology.
Yes, the Gentiles are gonna be blessed by us
because we will be-
We're ruling over them.
We'll show mercy to them as our slaves.
Right.
show mercy to them as our slaves. Right.
But Gentiles were always in God's redemptive plan.
Yes.
Because the church of Christ is the true Israel.
Believers, not from a single race,
form God's covenant people.
Ancestry offers no advantage.
Faith in Christ alone marks those who are the elect,
who are chosen, who are saved.
The church is the true Israel.
That concept, what I just said, is absolutely ref that is that even in the times of ancient Israel, not all Jews
were citizens of Israel.
Yes.
Only those who had faith in the promise to Abraham.
Right.
And they, those Jews formed what the Old Testament calls the remnant.
And every time God would judge Israel,
he would spare the remnant.
Why?
Because they're the ones who were sticking with the program.
I mean, God sent the prophets to the Jews
and the prophets were killed.
Who killed the prophets?
The Jews killed the prophets were killed. Who killed the prophets? The Jews killed the prophets.
Are you telling me that God's chosen people
killed God's chosen prophets?
Well, the people that killed the prophets were not,
they were just ethnically Jews, they were not in Israel.
Yes. Because they not in Israel. Yes
Because they were rebellious
So even in ancient Israel not all Jews were of Israel
Only those who obeyed God only those who had faith in God to fulfill his promise to Abraham.
The rest of them were rebels.
And they were outside of Israel, outside the covenant.
Sometimes there was instant judgment, such as in the case with Korah and the earthquake in the wilderness. Sometimes that justice, that's judgment, if you will, was delayed either by exile.
But God made it clear to his people, these are the blessings you receive if you're people
of faith.
If you choose to not believe me in my word, if you choose to be rebellious, here's the curses.
And yet they chose not to believe.
They chose. And yet even in their choosing, God used it for His glory.
Well, I hope you got something out of this lesson.
That's a tough one for me. it is. This is a tough one.
We're working our way through the book of Romans. What's coming up in chapter 10, Doc?
Well, a continuation of this and then the application of the gospel message globally. That's what's showing up in chapter 10. So
Paul, the rest of chapter 9 here,
goes through and explains a little bit more about how the Gentiles fit into this plan. But
this is just a great
teaching to have because there's a lot of confusion on this topic in the church about the relationship
not only that the Jews have with God but the Gentiles have with God. We're not second-class citizens.
We're not God's afterthought. We were always part of God's plan, always, all for His glory.
And it just excites me to know that people are learning something very positive, very good,
and have the ability to stand up to the false doctrine that they encounter
on a regular basis in this modern Christian age.
All right, so I just asked a question. I lost track of who said it.
track of who asked who said it.
Basically implied that Jesus, but the username you sure was the greatest you hoodum that ever lived.
What is a you hoodum?
I've never heard that term.
It's another word for Jew.
Why don't we just call him the son of God? and man, Son of God. Often he called himself the Son of Man. That was his favorite. Yes. The Son of Man.
Well, I want to encourage everybody that's on today with us live, and if you listen to this later,
if you've made a confession of faith in Jesus Christ and have been baptized in water according to scriptures, God has chosen you.
Yes. If you've chosen to follow after Jesus,
God has chosen you.
Rest in that.
Jew or Gentile, whatever your background,
red and yellow, black and white, whatever it is.
If you've confessed to Jesus Christ,
you've been obedient and being baptized,
you have been chosen by God.
You can rest in that. There's no conflict.
You don't have to worry about why this, why that, why
the other thing. No. Understand what Paul's making the case here. It doesn't
matter if you're Jew, doesn't matter if you're Gentile.
If you confess Christ, guess what? Christ is confessing you.
That's right, and rest in that.
Hallelujah.
Rest in it.
And nobody's gonna pry you out of his hand.
No, not that kind of love.
Okay everybody, thank you.
We're at 921.
God bless you, we'll see you tomorrow.
God bless you, see you on Thursdays, Morning Manor.
