Here's the headline from the CNBC television network, brain implant startup backed by Bezos and Gates is testing mind-controlled computing on humans. Doc, do you have any queasiness about allowing Bill Gates to implant something in your brain? He made his fortune on viruses and then providing the software to combat the viruses on computers.

No, I don't trust Bill Gates, and I don't trust Jeff Bezos, whose ultimate goal is just to make as much money as he possibly can, and that means he'd make as much money as he can off me. These guys are really dangerous. I agree. I joke around about it, but they're like Bond supervillains. It's like they stepped out of a movie. Yes. Yes, right.

And they're powerful and they're wealthy. And some of these billionaires want to inject chemicals into the atmosphere. They want to geoengineer the atmosphere. Others want, like Bill Gates, he wants to eliminate all meat and feed you fake meat that he has grown in his laboratory.

They're changing everything on the planet. They're reengineering civilization, life itself. It's directly from the pit of hell. Let's take a look at this CNBC story about Mr. Gates' brain implant business. Well, it says, in a Brooklyn lab stuffed with 3D printers and a makeshift pickleball court, employees at a brain interface startup called Synchron are working on technology designed to transform daily life for people with paralysis. Now, the Synchron switch is implanted through the blood vessels to allow people with no or very limited physical mobility to operate technology such as cursors and

smart home devices using their mind. Now, founded in 2012, Synchron is part of the burgeoning brain computer interface or BCI industry. A BCI is a system that deciphers brain signals and translates them into commands for external technologies. And while many competitors have to implant BCIs through open brain surgery, Synchron relies on a less invasive approach that builds on decades of existing endovascular techniques. Synchron's BCI is inserted through the blood vessels, which Oxley calls the natural highways into the brain. Now, Synchron's stent, called the stentrode, is fitted with tiny sensors and is delivered to the large vein that sits next to the motor cortex in your brain. The stentrode is connected to an antenna that sits under the skin and the chest and collects raw brain data that sends out of the body to external devices. So you basically become a transmitter complete with an antenna.

This is so weird. This is so weird, Doc. Where are we? Where are we right now? What planet are we on? This is weird. I'll ask you a question and i already know kind of know what your response is going to be because it likely would be my response what's the difference between this and a pacemaker let's say both are devices that are assisting people with you know this is the argument here it's going to be used to help people with motor function skills and things like that. I couldn't believe how many empty shelves i saw in a grocery store yes and there doesn't need to be there was there was no produce there was no fruit i was like everywhere i went there was no dairy okay what country am i in where are we i heard other shoppers going are you going to put out any bananas? No, man, we have no bananas. Are you going to put out any potatoes? No, we're out of potatoes. This is America. No, it's because of these people.

They're deliberately creating shortages. They want you and me to get used to shortages because they want to control us. Yes. And they're going to gradually reduce the amount of food that we have available to us. Then they will feed us bugs. That's where it's going.

They will feed us laboratory meat. And you'll eat it because there's nothing else in the store. And you will accept this stuff. We don't have to accept it. We can rebel against these demoniacs and I'm telling you, you've got to do it soon. There has to be a worldwide rebellion or humanity is going to disappear from this planet. In a period of time, their agenda is to eliminate humanity. I don't know what the time frame is,

but they plan to eliminate humanity. They're taking us step by step into their nightmare. And they're getting away with it. Sane people need to rise nightmare. And they're getting away with it. Sane people need to rise up. The sane people just need to rise up. These people need to be taken out of power. I personally think they need to be incarcerated.

I think they need to be put into an anti-woke prison, fed bugs and worms, and say, this is what you wanted us to eat. This is good protein. Eat your bugs every day. We have shortages. We just don't have enough food to feed all the prisoners. But we got plenty of bugs. But we got lots of bugs. And the more bugs we round up, that's fewer bugs in our homes. And we'll all go into a war mentality, gather up the bugs in your house so that we can send them to the local prison. So that we can feed the woke people that are in the anti-woke prison. Let's keep them incarcerated for maybe 20 years. Put them into a re-education fun camp.

So let's come up with a plan and build anti-woke prisons, round up every woke person in every city, and incarcerate them and feed them bugs. I don't know what else to do. They want us in a digital ghetto prison. So let's put them in a real prison and have them manufacture actual goods that can be used by real humans.

So we can get rid of child labor in Africa and Asia. We'll have anti-woke labor. We'll put the woke people in prison so that we can eliminate child labor in Africa. We'll have these people making furniture and clothing and shoes, doing something useful instead of using their brains to come up with insane ideas to control humanity. I'm telling you, somebody, we need somebody to rise up in the world that will lock these people up. And we need to get behind that person. The end of the human race is at hand. The end of the human race is staring us in the face. This is not a nightmare. This is not a bad dream. These people are in power. They're in power. Jeff Bezos wants, he wants to insert transistors into your bloodstream. Bill Gates wants an implant in your brain.

God's got to raise up somebody in the world to stop them. Because the human race is at stake. So researchers argue that as a first step, governments would need to regulate sectors such as the oil industry, which they're already trying to do, with the importing of fossil fuels banned or restricted in certain areas. such as flights, petrol, household energy, or even meat or clothing. They'll ration your clothing. Just like a communist would do. We control everything. That's what the communists want. We will control what you wear, where you work, how far you can travel.

Look, the smart cities, which on the surface sounds wonderful. You and I have attended a lot of conferences. Okay, the smart cities on the surface. On the surface,

smart cities sound wonderful. But when you dig down deep into what these maniacs are planning, they really are planning digital ghettos, smart city ghettos. Okay, you will be confined to a geographic area. You won't have the fuel to go to the other side of the city. They're already partitioning out parts of the U.K. into 15-minute sectors. That's exactly what I'm talking about. And then they want these smart cities full of village idiots. That's what they want.

That's exactly what they're doing, Doc. Now, it goes on. The paper adds governments could limit the number of long-haul flights that a person could take in a year, limit the amount of gas. Unless you have a private jet like Gates and Bezos. An alternative method would be through the modernization of rationing with carbon cards,

like bank cards to keep track of your carbon allowance rather than ration cards. Rick, I remember watching at World Economic Forum that there was a gentleman there that had an app that could track your daily carbon usage. So if it could track your daily carbon usage, that means it could also alert someone if you're using too much carbon in a particular day.

And then they shut you down. Right. And with a smart meter, they turn off your electricity. Now, mind you. With digital money, a digital dollar, because they plan to take away paper money and coins. They want you to have a programmable digital dollar. Programmable. What does that mean?

The Federal Reserve can program your money. Program it to do what? Be deactivated. Just deactivate it. They'll shut you down in a second. The Federal Reserve. You won't have a bank account. Their plan is for every single person in America to have an account with one bank,

the Federal Reserve. The only bank. It might have different brands or everything else out there, but it's still going to be the Federal Reserve. I was just thinking, I forgot that we're on national television right now. I'm just imagining the people at 5.30 in the morning

Notice that. Requires a rapid reduction. We argue that rationing could help states reduce emissions rapidly and fairly. In other words, when they say rapidly, Doc, overnight, you're not going to have anything. Overnight, rapid reduction. I am now convinced, my son told me this in March of 2020,

maybe April, it was right after the COVID thing started. It was right in the very beginning months. Sitting with him on his back patio in Florida. It was nice weather. And he said, Dad, I've got one. He goes, beyond your thinking. He goes, you will eventually find out that this COVID virus was created and released by the climate change people. I can believe that. He said, this is all part of the plan to reduce the human population and control the resources of the world.

He said, just wait and you will see. They're starting to come out now and they're really showing themselves what they are. They are maniacs. They are demon-possessed maniacs. Insane human beings need to organize and round up these people and incarcerate them and keep them away from children and other vulnerable people.

on these recommendations here. You feel like they're going to? The state's attorney said it's imminent. Okay. I think within days, a week or two, Donald Trump will have handcuffs. They'll indict him. He'll turn himself in.

But then just think of they're going to perp walk him. You know they're going to do it. They're going to have Donald Trump's hands behind his back. They're going to do a mug shot at the sheriff's office. The whole world is going to see

Donald Trump as a convict. Well, not a convict, as an arrested suspect in a crime. That's coming. Maybe Giuliani, maybe Mark Meadows, but multiple indictments are coming. Maybe Giuliani, maybe Mark Meadows, but multiple indictments are coming.

They're going to charge him with making false statements to the grand jury. I don't know if they even interviewed Trump. I don't recall. But the entire investigation is about did Trump order Brad Raffensperger to find 11,000 votes so that he could carry the state? And did Georgia state legislators

send a fake, well, they call them fake electors. Did they send a different slate? See, I don't think what they did was wrong at all. To send a different slate of electors to the U.S. House, there's nothing criminal about that. There's nothing criminal about that at all. State legislature has the right to do that. They do. Constitutionally have the right to do that. They do. Constitutionally have the right to do that. But the Democrats are planning to make this a criminal

offense. If you contest an election now, it is a criminal offense. Unless you're a Democrat. Unless you're a Democrat. But you won't, the Democrats will never contest election because they're controlling. Right. They're controlling the elections now. This is why all electronic voting must end. Oh, I agree with that. All electronic voting. No, all early voting must end, everything. I have one day to vote, vote that day, paper ballots.

That's my condition. Doc, I'm okay with early voting as long as it's not electronic voting. It's the electronic voting. Well, and here's the thing with the early voting. The mail-in voting is where the corruption is. And now Republicans are on board with that too. Well, because they had to jump on, they had to get in on it, right? For years, we've had absentee ballot. Nothing wrong with that. You have signatures. You have signatures.

The ballot is sent back, usually in two envelopes. And you have to go out of your way to get an absentee ballot. You have to request it. What the Democrats did with 2020, and again, it was all part of the plan. It was part of the plan with the virus.

They used the virus as the way to introduce the mail-in voting scheme. They created the virus. They created the mail-in voting scheme. And now here we are with fake elections. All electronic voting must stop. I don't care how long it takes to count paper ballots. Neither do I.

I don't care. I'm willing to give up my privacy in the right to vote by signing my name to my ballot. That way, there's not four ballots that were voted under my name. I'll give up my right to privacy. I don't care if they know who I voted for. I tell everybody anyhow.

I don't care. If you have paper ballots with the voter's signature on it, you will eliminate a lot of fraud. Because I know for a fact, from when I ran for office in Maryland back in, what was it, 1994, you know, the Democrats were using nursing home patients to defeat me. Right, that's an old tactic there. And I went were using nursing home patients to defeat me.

So Putin gave his, kind of his State of the Union speech today in Russia. And we've got some of the key quotes from this speech. Right. So he says responsibility for inciting the Ukrainian conflict lies with Western elites and the current leadership of Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his message to the Federal Assembly, today's Ukrainian regime serves not national interests, but the interests of third

countries. Putin noted that the West is using Ukraine as a battering ram against Russia and as a training ground. The Russian leader continued by saying that the more long-range weapons the West supplies to Ukraine, the further Russia will push threats away from its borders. The president of the Russian Federation assured that Russia would respond appropriately to plans to turn the local conflict in Ukraine into a global confrontation. He said, the elites of the West do not hide their goal, that is to inflict on Russia, as they say, this is a direct speech, a strategic defeat of Russia. What does this mean? What is it for us?

It means to end us once and for all. That is, they intend to translate a local conflict into a phase of global confrontation. So, Doc, right here, Vladimir Putin understands that the maniacs running the West plan to eliminate the Russian nation. That's right. Just like we said earlier, they plan to get rid of you and me and all of you. They plan to get rid of most of the human race. And Putin is facing up to it saying, hey, they really do plan to eliminate Russia. We're fighting for our survival.

And he went on to say, according to Putin, in this case, we're talking about the existence of our country. But they also cannot fail to realize that it is impossible to defeat Russia on the battlefield. And so he is prepared to do whatever it takes to protect Russia and its people and the existence of Russia as a nation. And he realizes, we realize this too, and we've been saying this every day, it's NATO's intent and the United States' intent to eliminate Russia. And if you were to flip the script and say the same thing, if we said the existence of the United States is on the line, we would do everything we can to protect our nation, wouldn't we?

Yes. And that's Russia's attitude. So I'm going to ask people, this is a really pointed question. Do you hate and despise this regime of globalists, these Satanists? Do you hate and despise them enough and know that they're dangerous to humanity, that you would be willing to say to Almighty God, do whatever you have to do, God, even if it means all of us in America get vaporized by Russian nukes. Do whatever you have to do to stop this insanity

for the sake of the human race. Because I'm telling you, that's where I think this is going. I really believe this is where we're at, Doc, that the only way to stop it is for God to burn it off the earth. Just burn it off. I don't know another way to stop it. It is out of control. It is out of control. I don't know another way for it to end other than Almighty God incinerate the wicked people that run the West.

And that's going to end our lives. We're all going to lose our lives on this earth because of them. You ought to be angry and mad and furious that these people are bringing destruction on our nation. But President Putin went on in his speech to call out what is fueling this idiocy, what is fueling this madness. Also from Interfax, President Putin promises to protect children from Western disinformation. This is number 32 for control. Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to protect Russian children from information attacks from the West from the ideology of degradation and degeneration. He said this. He called us degenerates. That's right. And he lays it out specifically here.

He said in the West, they understand that they are being led to a real spiritual catastrophe. What's the president of Russia say? He said, dear friends, look what Putin said today to the Russian people in America and Europe. They get this quote. The elites, frankly, are just. The elites, he said, in the West, they understand, meaning you and me, that we are being led to a real spiritual catastrophe. The elites in America and Europe are just going crazy. And it seems that there is no cure. But this is their problem, Putin said.

But we are obliged to protect our children. Protect the Russian children from what? From the pedophiles in America, from the queers and the homosexuals and the perverts in America. He's saying we will do what we have to do to protect Russian children from the American queers. We will do what we have to do. We are not going to allow them to come and do to our children what they've done to the American children. That's where we're at right now. That was his speech to Russia today.

That's right. And he didn't end there. Imagine if it was the other way around and Biden said the Russians have gone crazy. They're degenerates. They're turning little children into

perverts. They're turning American children into perverts. Now they want our children to become perverted. We have to fight them. We're the perverts over here in this country. that all they do is produce memes to be introduced in Russia. That's to influence a younger generation, yes. Yes. I believe that. The Pentagon. Why don't they just rename it the Pentagram? The U.S. military is producing memes to pervert the minds of the Russian children,

So President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday delivered a warning to the West over Ukraine by suspending a landmark nuclear arms control treaty, announcing that new strategic systems had been put on combat duty

and threatening to resume nuclear tests. Alleging that the U.S. was turning the war into a global conflict, Putin said Russia was suspending participation in the START treaty, its last major arms control treaty with Washington. And, Doc, I read his speech, and the reason he ended participation in it, he said that the West was demanding to send a delegation to Russian nuclear sites. To inspect. Like in the coming weeks. And he said, I had to stop it. I could not allow them to come onto our military bases.

Can you imagine letting this gang go to Russian military bases right now? The audacity of it. That's why he cut it off. So he said a week ago, I signed a decree on putting new ground-based strategic systems on combat duty. So they've got strategic systems on combat duty right now. Putin said Ukraine had sought to strike a facility deep inside Russia where it keeps nuclear bombers, a reference to the Ingalls Air Base. So he is directly blaming Ukraine for that strike. We've got one more story. This is from The Sun. Putin puts nuke forces on highest alert level and

activates a chilling monolith combat system. Now, Rick, I wasn't aware of monolith before today, but this is quite the extensive program that Russia has. Vladimir Putin has put his nuclear forces on high alert in a bid to blackmail the West. That's the sun's spin on this. Ukraine has warned. And who owns the sun? Rupert Murdoch. Fox News. This is the warmongers. The guy Elon Musk was hanging out with at the Super Bowl. Russia is alleged to have begun large-scale nuclear exercises,

including activating a central command system called Monolith. Kiev also added that Russia's central command system, Monolith, which liaises between the top generals and missile forces, conducted a readiness check. Monolith was a code word used by the Soviet military to denote highest priority messages. It also claimed a nuclear missile submarine was given a mock, listen to this, a mock combat order to fire. Strategic bombers and top commanders have also reportedly been moved to Tambov Air Base, which is around 300 miles south of Moscow or 300 miles northeast of Ukraine. King Jesus will return to earth to gather his elect and you and I must be ready. Arriving with King Jesus will be his glorious kingdom that shall have no end. And until the day of the Lord arrives, you and I must live in this old sinful world. And that's why we must shine brightly, taste salty, and love everybody. I've got a question for you. Do you need a miraculous supply of money to open up in your life like a bubbling spring in a desert? All of us have experienced financial dry spells at some time in our lives. Sometimes it lasts a short time. Other times it may last several years. Sometimes things are just financially tight for a season, but you have enough to get by day to day.

At other times, you might be in a serious mess and have no idea how you're going to pay this month's bills. Have you ever been there? Are you there right now? What if I told you that Almighty God, your Heavenly Father, knows about your situation and that He cares? He not only cares, but He desires to provide a miracle supply of money to you. Would you believe me or would you chuckle and say, well, here's another preacher on TV with a gimmick? Well, I'm here to tell you that God is more than willing to supply all your needs, but you must do it his way.

And his way involves faith and giving. And if you don't want to do it his way, you can continue to do it your way, which isn't working. There are three essential principles to store in your heart, but these three principles always guide you. Faith principle number one, your heavenly father is your source for everything you need. Faith principle number two, give that it may be given unto you. And faith principle number three, expect a miracle. Do you need money this month to make your mortgage payment or rent? Are you behind in your auto or truck payments? Are bill collectors harassing you? Is your kitchen pantry getting low on food supplies?

Do your children need dental work? Is your car or truck breaking down and in need of serious repairs? Do you have a piece of real estate that you have not been able to sell? Are you involved in a lawsuit and need a settlement? Are you seeking an investor to fund your business? Are you working on a big sale for your employer or your own business? What is it that you need? What is it that you can't do for yourself and could use some help from heaven? I'm going to challenge you.

I'm going to challenge your faith to believe God and to do something to prove that you believe him, I am challenging you to make a vow to God that you will give a certain amount of money to Morning Manor, this television ministry, if God releases a miracle supply of money to meet whatever need you present to him. That amount is between you and the Lord. It could be a specific dollar amount, or you could make a vow for a specific percentage of the miracle funds that he provides you. It's between you and the Lord. I also encourage you to set a deadline for the miracle so that you know when this is going to happen. Now you work out the details with the Lord, but make sure you keep your word when he keeps his word and meet your need. It is an amazing story of a miracle supply of food. The God who made that miracle happen thousands of years ago is the same God today. He can make things happen for you if you have faith in him and you prove your faith with actions. We will start in 2 Kings chapter 6. There was a great famine in the land of Samaria. It was so severe that, listen to this, people boiled their children and ate them. We'll pick up the story in verse 24 of chapter 6. Dr. Burkhart will read the scriptures now. If you have your Bibles, turn to 2 Kings chapter 6, and we'll begin with verse 24. After this, Ben-Hadad, king of Syria, gathered all his army and went up and besieged Samaria. There was a great famine in Samaria. Behold,

they besieged it until a donkey's head was sold for 80 pieces of silver and the fourth part of a of dove's dung for five pieces of silver. So, Doc, we've got a serious situation here in the land. Yes. Any idea why this famine was there? The famine was because they were being held under siege. The king of Syria had Samaria, the capital of Israel, under siege at this time. So the city's locked down. That's right. And he's cut off all the roads. Yes. They can't get food and supplies into the city. The king is in the city. The king of Israel is in the city. Elisha is in the city too. The prophet is there. The prophet is there. So he's experiencing the same famine, the same

situation as everyone else. But as we get into our scriptures today, you're going to see that there's a different attitude among the man of God than among those that are in the city, believing God by faith for deliverance. Yeah, so you always want to find out what's the attitude of the man of God in the situation and get lined up with him because if he's in tune with the Lord, he's going to hear a word from heaven and he's going to have a solution for the situation.

Now, the famine in Samaria was so great that people were selling donkey heads. Yes, and dove dung. That's how desperate people were. But they were even more desperate than that. As we read on in this particular passage here, it says, As the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried to him, saying, Help my lord, O king.

And the king said, Whoa. Whoa. Have you ever been in a situation that severe? They're boiling donkey heads. They're eating dove dung. And now they're eating their children. Right. So the king himself was walking through the city.

Yes. Probably along the ramparts on the wall. Josephus, the Jewish historian, said the king was personally inspecting the walls. That he wanted to personally make sure that the attackers could not penetrate the walls of the city. And so the king's walking the city walls. And this woman cries out. And he says, lady, what am I going to do for you that almighty god can't do for you

and and she says give give me give me your son that will eat your son and then tomorrow and then tomorrow we'll eat my boy i mean i it's hard to believe that poverty can be that great. But when poverty is at an extreme level and there's no hope, and it seems like every door is closed and there's no way out of your mess, people do desperate things. That's right.

And I seldom say this doing these programs, but there are people watching us right now, and you're in such dire straits. You're in so much financial trouble, or it may be marriage problems, or it's finance. I don't know what the problem is, but the thought of suicide is going through your mind. You're thinking, I don't know how to get out of this. It's so bad.

This has been going on for so long and everything I do to fix it just gets worse. And you're actually thinking that maybe you should just end your life. And I'm telling you that that is a lie. That is a lie from Satan. He wants you to commit self-murder. That's what suicide is. It's self-murder. And the commandments say thou shall not murder. And that includes thou shall not murder thyself. You shall not murder yourself. So get those thoughts out of your head. This program, this episode today and tomorrow,

this is to let you know that no matter how dark your situation is, God has a solution. Is your situation so bad that you're ready to eat your baby? I mean, are you under siege that desperately? Are you eating donkey heads for breakfast today? Seriously, put it in perspective. Things in this situation were extremely bad. And God provided a miracle. You're not in a situation that bad. Obviously you have needs. You got problems. Maybe you're in a lawsuit. Maybe you've got an enemy coming at you in a lawsuit. You're like, if I don't get help, they're going to take everything I've got. Maybe the IRS is coming after you.

Whatever your situation, God has a solution for you. He can get you out of the mess that you're in, but you've got to do it his way. And his way involves faith and it involves actions. And those actions always include giving. So do it his way. And he'll do his thing his way. And his thing is a miracle. It's easy for him to get a miracle to you. We call it miracles. He just calls it stuff. It's what he does. It's just what he does. You know, it's not a miracle to him. It's just what he does. To us, it's a miracle. But he desires to help you, to get you through your situation.

And he doesn't want to see you going through hard times. He wants to help you. And not only does he desire just to get you out of the mess that you're in now, but he wants to get you over into a place where you won't be in a mess again. See, you've got a promised land in this life. Your Canaan land, your promised land is not heaven. Canaan land is now in this life.

You don't need Canaan land after you die. Right. You need Canaan land now. You need a land of Canaan land now. You need a land of milk and honey now. And God desires to get you over into your own personal Canaan land in this life. It doesn't mean he's going to make us all

super wealthy. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about that you'll have more than enough to pay your bills, to take care of your family, to meet your needs, not to have stress, not to wake up every day in the morning under so much heaviness and stress wondering, how am I going to get through this day? Because a lot of people are in that situation, Doc. They don't even know how they're going to get through the next 24 hours.

And it's a tremendous burden. Stress is very, very painful on people to go through that situation. And your heavenly father doesn't want you to live that way. So you've got two things. He's got to get you out of your immediate mess. And then he's got to get you on a path that you won't be in that mess again. And so we need a word from the Lord at this particular time in our life. So there's a man of God somewhere. Yes. There's a man of God in this city.

The prophet was there and he had a solution. There's a man of God in your life somewhere. There's a man of God who will speak to you and give you a word, a word from heaven that will challenge your faith. And if you act on that word, if you seize that moment and say, that is from heaven, that's God speaking to me right now, you will see heaven move.

What you're going to learn in this story is the difference between two groups of people. One group that said, we believe God and they reap an abundance. Another one that laughed and things did not end well for him. You're going to see it in this story. Let's pick it up in the next verse. Right. So it goes on to say in this particular passage, so we boiled my son and ate him. And I said to her on the next day, give your son that we may eat him, but she has hidden her son. Now, when the king heard the words of the woman, he tore his clothes. Now he was passing by on the wall and the people looked and behold,

he had sackcloth underneath on his body. So Rick, he was in a state of repentance himself right there. King Joram, the king of Israel here. Something was going on in his particular life this time. He knew he needed a word from God. Well, at the same time that's going on, Elijah is meeting with the elders of the city and they're getting information together, and they're talking things out that they need a word from the Lord.

And it picks back up in the seventh chapter of 2 Kings there, and Elisha has a word from the Lord. He says this, hear Yahweh's word, making it very clear who this is from, Rick. Yahweh says, tomorrow about this time, a sea of fine flour will be sold for a shekel and two seas of barley for a shekel in the gate of Samaria. Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned and answered the man of God said, behold, if Yahweh made windows in heaven, could this thing be? He said, behold, you will see it with your eyes, but you will not eat of it. So the prophet Elisha delivered a word from the Lord for this particular tragedy, this particular crisis that was going on, not just in an individual's life, but an entire city, a city under siege right here.

They needed the man of God to speak. And here he gives the word from the Lord. Let's go back and look at this verse again, Doc. Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God. Yes. This guy spoke words of doubt, of unbelief. The man of God spoke the word of the Lord.

He made it clear. Elisha made it clear. This is Yahweh's word. I'm speaking on behalf of God right now. And the captain, the king's captain said, even if there were windows of heaven, this couldn't be. Well, there are windows of heaven. We know in Malachi 3.10

that God will open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing for you as you're faithful to him. So this captain, a person of negative thinking, unbelief, very oriented towards what he can see and feel and touch in the natural realm.

No faith. Can't see beyond the physical. And he's saying in a mocking manner. Yes. If heaven had windows, this wouldn't happen. Right. What you just said is ridiculous. Now, we're going to have a committee meeting here,

and we're going to solve this problem among ourselves. I mean, that's the mindset. When there's a financial need, well, let's have a committee meeting. So what are they going to do? Eat another donkey head? Eat another plate of dove dung? Boil another kid? Is that the solution that the city is going to have? Because what they've been doing is not working. Right.

They need a word from the Lord. And then the word of the Lord comes and this captain of the guard, the king's captain, rejects God's word. And it only takes one stinking, thinking, negative, trash-talking unbeliever to kill the faith of everybody in the room. And in this particular case, it can be deadly. Yes. Yeah. Absolutely.

This was deadly. If you doubted the word of God and believed the negative trash talker, you were going to die. This was life and death. But we see this in families, in churches, in ministries, in businesses, where somebody will speak words of faith and immediately there's a person in a room that just starts trash-talking, negativity, criticism, doubt, unbelief, mocking. It doesn't even have to be mocking. It's just unbelief comes out of their mouth. Look, we all know those people, okay? Right now, you could put names on those people. They're in your life. We all have them in our lives. You've got to block them from getting into your spirit. They're going to talk. They're going to say their negative things,

but just cancel out their words in your head and in your heart and immediately speak up and reaffirm the message of faith. Because if you let that doubt and unbelief linger in the room, that thing will grow. It will get tentacles. And that unbelief will become stronger.

And it's like a vine. It's like a weed. It just began spreading. And it just starts wrapping its tentacles around everything. And nothing can grow because it's just choking out the life out of every other plant. It's just taking the nutrients, the water.

It's just a weed that just takes over. That's what negative thinking is. And so everybody faces this. When the word of the Lord comes, there's always somebody there to steal the word. That's the enemy. So imagine this scenario, Rick.

Elisha most likely made this pronouncement from the Lord right at the city gate so everybody in the city could hear. So he had everyone's attention. So you had all the city gathered really inside. They're trapped. They're under siege, Rick. And Elisha makes this pronouncement from the Lord. But outside the city, there's another audience there. You have the people that are trapped inside under siege, but there are people that are even in worse shape outside the wall.

How could you be in worse shape? Well, outside the city walls were four lepers that were outside the city wall. They were so bad they can't even get in the city. They can't get in the city. They eat a donkey head. They can't have donkey head or dove dung. Oh, man. They get the city. They were so bad they can't even get in the city. They can't get in the city. They eat a donkey head. They can't have donkey head or dove dung. They get the leftovers, the garbage if you will. So when they're done

with the donkey head, they're tossing the skull over the wall for the lepers to eat. That's right because the lepers can't come into the city. And even the Syrians are staying away from the lepers. But we pick back up in verse 3 here. It says, now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate. And they said to one another, why do we sit here until we die? If we say we will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city and we'll die there. It goes on to say, if we sit still here, we also die. Now, therefore, come and let's surrender to the

army of the Syrians. If they save us alive, we'll live. And if they kill us, we will only die. Now, I can imagine that those four lepers were sitting outside the city gate and they heard Elisha make his pronouncement. And all you need, Rick, is just one drop of faith in order for God to do something truly miraculous in your life. The lepers, they had nothing to lose. They can't go in the city. They got leprosy. That's right. They're going to die. That's right. So why don't we just go surrender to the Syrians? I mean, what's the worst that can happen we'll die even they just had a drop of hope right there just one drop of hope after the word of the lord came from elisha there's a lot in that phrase why do we sit here until we die why do we just sit here until we die? Let's do something. When bad times come on people,

one of the worst things that happens is that they become immobilized. That's right. They get stuck in the same spot. They're just immobilized. They don't know what to do. They're paralyzed. They get in a rut and they get it into their head. This is the way it's going to be. I'm trapped. I can't make it. I can't make enough money. I can't get out of this problem. This problem is not going to go away. And you just sit there in that rut. And it's like you got a shovel and you're just digging the rut deeper and deeper and deeper every day. And Satan's laughing. You know, he enjoy watching you make your rut deeper.

Actually, instead of a shovel, most people make that rut deeper with their tongue. They're shoveling the dirt out with their tongue because their mouth is speaking unbelief and negativity. And they're using their tongue just to make their rut deeper and deeper. That's right. So these lepers said, all right, we're desperate. We're just going to go surrender to the Assyrians. We heard what Elisha said, that there's a promise coming, but we can't even go in the city anyway.

So what difference is it going to make for us? But God had a plan for these four lepers, and he used Elisha's word to get the lepers to move. It picks back up in verse 5. They rose up at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians. Now, these are the lepers now. And when they had come to the outermost part of the camp of the Syrians, behold, no man was there for the Lord had made the army of the

Syrians to hear the sound of chariots and the sound of horses, even the sound of a great army. And they said to one another, behold, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to attack us. And so deception had entered into the Syrian camp and they had ran away. But you know what? The Lord did it. Yeah, the Lord did it. The Lord made the Syrian army hear things. Yes. Imagine things. And so you've got this great army of all these brave soldiers. And they were dug in. This was a siege that was going on.

They ran away like sissies. That's right. Because God had put in their mind the sound of another army moving their way. That's right. So what does this mean for us? When your enemies are attacking you, let's just say you're in a lawsuit, okay? Or you have some powerful adversary coming against you.

God can put in that person's mind a belief that they're in trouble. That somebody's coming after them. And we've seen that happen, haven't we? Yes, you better believe I've seen it happen. they're in trouble. Yes. If somebody's coming after them, or that you're more... And we've seen that happen, haven't we? Yes, you better believe I've seen it happen. Yes, sir. I've seen it happen. God has delivered me from a lot of troubles.

And I had adversaries, enemies coming at me far bigger, more powerful, with deeper pockets. And I thought, how am I ever going to get out of this mess? But the Lord would fight for me. All I had to do was stand my ground and call upon the name of the Lord day after day after day until heaven responded, until my father stood up in heaven and he hides himself in the clouds. Oh man, I love that. He hides himself, Doc. He hides himself in the clouds and he swoops down on your enemies and they don't even see him coming

because he's hidden in the clouds. And your heavenly father will put thoughts in your enemy's minds and they'll panic. They'll pack up and run. All right. I could tell you a true story one time, man, I was sitting in an office years ago. I had a powerful adversary coming after me and I had a lawyer tell me, Rick, you need to give up. You need just to give up. And as he's telling me, and I'm speaking back by faith in God, I won't give up. This is a true story. As he's sitting there telling me to give up, his phone rang and it was the lawyer of my adversary. And they were calling my attorney. This is a true story. He called my attorney and said, we want to pay Mr. Wiles a settlement.

If he will, we want to end the lawsuit and we will pay him to end the lawsuit. And my attorney was sitting there holding the phone, shocked. And when he put the phone down, he looked at me and he said, I know you are a man of God now. In all my years of being a lawyer, I have never seen anything like that happen in my lifetime. And we actually got a settlement, and they paid me to get out of the lawsuit that they filed against me because God put the thought in their head, they can't win.
