This is True News for Thursday, March 28, 2024. Let's begin with this article published by Hong Kong's leading newspaper, the South China Morning Post. The headline says, Russia's Putin says nuclear-capable F-16 fighter jets won't change things on the battlefield. What's he mean? This is what the South China Morning Post reported. If Western countries supply Ukraine with F-16 fighters, the aircraft will not alter the situation on the battlefield. Russian news agencies quoted Russian President Vladimir Putin as telling military pilots on Wednesday.

But the fighters, he was quoted as saying, could carry nuclear weapons, and Moscow would have to take account of that in its military planning. Quote, this is a quote from Putin. If they supply, they meaning NATO, if they supply F-16s and they are talking about this and are apparently training pilots,

this will not change the situation on the battlefield. Again, TASS news agency quoted Putin as telling Russian pilots at a gathering northwest of Moscow. Then he goes on to say, quote, and we will destroy the aircraft just as we destroyed today's tanks, armored vehicles, and other equipment, including multiple rocket launchers. The South China Morning Post went on to say Putin noted that the fighters had the capability to carry nuclear weapons, end quote, and we also must consider that in the way we organize

matters, end of quote. The F-16s, he said, would be legitimate targets wherever. Now, this is really important. Putin said U.S.-built F-16s would be legitimate targets wherever they might be. Here's the quote. If they will be used from airfields in third countries, they become for us legitimate targets wherever they might be located. End of quote. Now, Putin said that Russia has no plans to attack NATO. He said, quote, we have no aggressive intentions towards these states. This is according to the transcript released by the Kremlin.

He went on to say the idea that we will attack some other country, Poland, the Baltic states, and the Czechs are also being scared is complete nonsense. It's just drivel. Now, let's put this together. He's saying here, we don't have any plans to attack NATO nations. We're not going to attack Poland. We're not going to attack the Czech Republic. But the other thing that Putin said was,

if the United States or other Western nations put F-16s in those countries, such as Poland. And those F-16s are used to attack Russian troops in Ukraine. Putin said Russia will then attack the F-16s wherever they are located, which means he would bomb airfields in Poland and other NATO nations. So he put the two together. He said, we don't have any plans. We don't want to go to war with NATO. But if they put F-16s in these NATO nations and they're used against Russian troops in

Ukraine, then we will take them out because they could be carrying nuclear weapons and we can't allow that. He just drew a massive red line. It's a massive red line, folks. Pay attention to this one today. This is not a story that you should just hear and forget about it by tomorrow. Putin just told the West, I will attack your fighter jets. If you use your fighter jets against my troops, I will attack them. And I don't care where they're parked. We're going to take them out. Meaning they'll have, they'll have fights. They'll have dogfights in the air. They will bomb airfields. They will do whatever they have to do to destroy fighter jets used against Russian troops.

When are these F-16s going to be delivered? If and when? So there's been talk for over a year of supplying the F-16s to Zelensky. They've not been shipped yet. But the U.S. and other NATO nations are training Ukrainian pilots how to fly the F-16s. And a lot of this training is being done in Poland.

So the big question is, will the West go that far? Putin just gave the West his red line. Will the West deliver the F-16s? Will they allow Ukrainian pilots to fly American-built F-16s to bomb Russian troop positions in Ukraine? If they do it, the Russians are going to attack the countries that are housing the F-16s.

We could be months away from this type of war. Or will the West delay? I don't know. None of us know. But this is how serious this is. And I wanted to bring this information to you immediately. Now, something else, and I had not thought about this until I saw this article today in Russia's Novosti news service. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov did not rule out that Russia would no longer recognize Zelensky as president of Ukraine on May 21st.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov commenting on Zelensky's powers expiring on May 21st. Said that it may not be necessary to rule him as a Ukrainian leader on that day. Excuse me. Let me go back to that. I misread that laveroff said it may not be necessary to recognize him as a ukrainian leader on that day presidential elections for ukraine were supposed to take place

on march 31st 2024 but were canceled due to martial law and general mobilization zelensky himself said that the elections are now not at the right time, said that Zelensky's powers expire on May 21st. Now, we're going back to Lavrov, the Russian foreign minister. He said, quote, as for May 20 and what will happen on May 21st, let's live to see it. Maybe there will be no need to recognize anything, Lavrov said. So what's happening here is that Zelensky's presidential term expires on May 20th. On May 21st, he is no longer the legitimate president of Ukraine because he

canceled the election. You know, we're fighting for democracy, right? And the way that you save democracy is by canceling the elections. That's Orwellian newspeak. The way that you have peace is have war. Everything that the

ruling class says is just backwards. It's the opposite of truth, of reality. So, Zelensky's term expires on May 20. The newly elected president should take office on May 21st, but there is no newly elected president because he canceled the elections. What is Mr. Lavrov saying? I mean, this man is, you know, this is the senior diplomat of Russia. What he's hinting at is on May 21st, we, Russia, will no longer even direct any words to Zelensky because he's no longer the legitimate head of state of the Ukraine. I don't know where this is going to go.

But I think the Russians are going to make a case that there is no president in Ukraine and that it's just being ruled by an illegal dictator as of May 21st. But as Lavrov said, let's just wait. Let's just live. Let's just live to May 21st and see what happens. You got to read between the lines with what these guys say. And try to figure out where this is going. Reuters reporting that Putin's spy chief visited North Korea.

Reuters said Russian President Vladimir Putin's foreign intelligence chief paid a visit to North Korea this week to deepen bilateral cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang and discuss broader regional security, Russia's spy service said on Thursday. Although Reuters said no such entity exists.
