This was after the Red Cross pled for fuel to be allowed in to prevent overwhelmed hospitals from turning into morgues.

And we also have this story from RT as well. No humanitarian aid to Gaza. That's coming from the Israeli Energy Minister. It says Israel's siege of Gaza will not be lifted unless Hamas releases all its hostages. It's captured. That's coming from Energy Minister Israel Katz. His announcement came after Israeli authorities cut off water, fuel, and electricity to the Palestinian exclave following a surprise attack by Hamas militants Saturday. Humanitarian aid to Gaza? The blockade of Gaza was initially announced by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant Monday, who said he had ordered a complete siege of the Gaza Strip and that there would be no electricity, no food, no fuel, no water. We're fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly, Gallant said. So the Zionists believe that toddlers, infants, children, five, six, seven, eight years old, they're animals and they don't deserve food and water. Right. Now, we always like to flip the script, Rick. What if Vladimir Putin laid siege to a city in Ukraine

and cut off all food and water and fuel and electricity going to a Ukraine city? What would the world's response be to that? Let's drive it home. Let's say somebody did it to Jerusalem. Okay. Imagine Jerusalem has been encircled, and millions of Israelis are inside, and they can't get food and water.

What would the world say? There would be total condemnation, of course, as well there should be. And there would be calls for uh western nations to send military troops to break the siege yes i mean for any person to to brazenly say i will not allow any food or water or fuel to enter a land that has two and a half million people in it they're in the dark. There's no electricity.

There's no running water. There are no toilets. There's no food. And half of the population is a youth under 18. Right. It's unthinkable, Doc. You would think of all nations, Israel would be the one nation that would learn a lesson from the past. You mean like the Holocaust?

Or like 70 AD. 70 AD, basically Judah and any hopes of any resurrection of Judea at that point died. Because the Roman army encircled Jerusalem and cut off all the food. Right. And millions, millions of Jews died in Jerusalem, inside Jerusalem. Mostly at the hands of other Jews. Yes. The zealots killed the Jews who wanted to surrender. Yes.

Humanitarian for humanitarian, and no one will preach us morals. Of course not. Really? No one? You're not going to tell them morals because they don't have any.

If my wife, if my wife were being held hostage in Gaza and she was going to be raped. And I was told if you push this button, she will be released, but 1 million people will die. Would I push it? Yes, I would. And you would too. He was planning the thoughts in everybody's mind. You would kill them too. So this is the neoconservative script now? Yes. That it's okay to use nuclear weapons on people

we don't like. Is that basically it? Especially if they don't look like us and talk like us or think like us, it's okay to nuke them. Your word says you're going to do it.

and you tell them all to leave. A million of them are kids. Then he said they can go to Egypt. You bombed the only checkpoint. They want them in the Mediterranean where they want them. Just start swimming. Go that direction. That's really where they want them to go. But anyway, it just shows where, are okay with genocide now.

That's coming from Yamin Hamad, a father of four whose home had been destroyed by Israeli strikes on the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanun. There was no escape for Ala al-Khafarna's family.

Excuse me. The 31-year-old said he fled the town on Saturday with his pregnant wife, his father, brothers, cousins, and in-laws. They drove to the beach refugee camp on the coast where they hoped they would be safer, but air attacks began targeting that area too. So they bombed the refugee camp. Yes. So they headed to Sheikh Rodwan later. On Tuesday night, an airstrike hit the building where Kafarna and his family were sheltering

at the other location, killing all of them except him, he added. He lost his entire family. Yes. We escaped from danger into death, he said. And his head cut and a plaster cast running from his shoulder to his wrist. He was sitting on a pavement near hundreds of other people living in the open next to the hospital. Some said they hoped that its presence might offer them some protection from the bombardment. No, they hit hospitals too.

It's just the tragedy of the situation. Where do you escape to? You escape to a refugee camp, which gets hit. Then you escape to another place, which gets hit. Because the Israelis are deliberately pinning them down. Doc, they're deliberately pinning down the Palestinian people. They want them to be terrorized. They're telling them, you're going to die. There's no place to run. Every place you run, we're going to bomb you. You're going to die.

It's just a matter of days. So they want the people to be in an absolute state of terror, knowing that it's just a matter of time. That man that lost his entire family, a 31-year-old man, he knows that within a couple days he's going to be dead. There's no future. There is no hope. You're finished if you're in Gaza right now. And he wrote this on X, a ceasefire is urgently needed in defense of Israeli and Palestinian children. And so, as Rick said, he's one of the few world leaders, if only the only world leader at this time that has said anything about let's calm things down let's stop doctor two people that ordinarily don't talk to each other the president of iran and the prince of saudi arabia up until you know earlier this year

But look at this headline. Al Jazeera, the president of Iran, had a discussion with Saudi Arabia's Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss Israel. Where is this going, Doc? Well, it's probably going to end up with a confrontation with Israel at some point. So Iranian President Abraham Razi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has spoken on the phone about the war between Israel and Hamas and their first call since Tehran and Riyadh restored ties.

And so what this is doing, it's uniting the Muslim world now. The two leaders discussed on Wednesday the need to end war crimes against Palestine. And Iranian presidential political affairs aide Mohammad Jamshidi said on X, Islamic unity was stressed. Listen to that. Islamic unity was stressed and both believe the regime's crimes and the U.S. green light will cause destructive insecurity for the regime and backers. When they see the regime, they're talking about Israel. That's right.

Saudi state news agency, SPA, said that Mohammed bin Salman stressed the necessity of adhering to the principles of international humanitarian law and expressed deep concern for the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza and its impact on civilians. Now, Rick, it was just two short weeks ago that we were talking about a possible alliance with Saudi Arabia, Israel and the U.S. with the Saudis perhaps getting the bomb as a result of that. I think those talks are on hold. Yes, I would say they're on hold. My question is, are they dead in the water? But I would say Saudi Arabia is thinking we better get a bomb. And guess who's really close to getting one?

Iran. Yes. to getting one. Iran. Yes, but also China and Russia may supply Saudi Arabia with nukes to protect Saudi Arabia from Israel. And Israel started talking yesterday. Members of the Knesset started talking about doomsday weapons and nuclear bombs.

So if you're an Arab state and Israel is talking about using nuclear weapons. Doomsday weapons. Not even explaining what is a about using nuclear weapons. Doomsday weapons. Not even explaining what is a doomsday weapon. Because I think it's weapons that the public doesn't know anything about. And now the conflict is expanding into Syria. The two main airports, the Damascus International Airport and the airport in Aleppo,

both suffered strikes. Israel knocked really both airports out. Israel has launched missile strikes on Syria's two main airports in Damascus and in Aleppo, knocking both out of service. The simultaneous attacks damaged landing strips in the two airports, putting them out of service. State news agency Sinai said on Thursday, citing a military source, they put both airports out of service about just a few minutes before the Iranian foreign minister was due to arrive. So think this through. We'll show you here the messenger reporting Syrian airports hit in apparent Israeli strikes as Iran's foreign minister prepares to visit.

Now, this story has been developing over a couple of days. It originally came out, let's see, two days ago on the 10th. CNN picked it up yesterday and printed this. But there's been a lot of question and a lot of controversy about this particular story and about the sourcing of it. The it started with a report by an I-24 reporter. I-24 is a news outlet from Israel.

And what was going on is one of the kibbutzes had apparently been struck by Hamas. And then the IDF brought in a whole bunch of journalists for a walkthrough afterwards to show, you know, here's some dead terrorists over here. Here's other bodies over here. And, well, I'll just play the original report. This is by I-24's Nicole Zetik. And listen to what she says here in this particular report. And this is where the controversy. This is the original. This is the original report. Because they want us to see exactly what's happening and what they've been witnessing with their own eyes for these past three days, many of them coming here Saturday night and they knew that no other soldiers had been here yet. And so they kind of knew an idea of what was happening, but

no one could expect that it would be like this. The horrors that I'm hearing from these soldiers, as I mentioned earlier, about 40 babies at least were taken out on journeys. Still, right now, they're going house to house, still evacuating dead bodies, killed Israelis. Now, from her reporting, she implied that she saw 40 dead babies, beheaded babies on top of that. This was back two days ago. Now, other media outlets picked that up, too, picked that story up. They started repeating that. But then there were questions about, well, where are these babies? Where are they? Why are there no pictures or

videos of them or anything like that? She had an appearance on Buck Sexton's radio show where she tried to make an explanation for this. This was actually late yesterday. So we'll play that clip here for her explanation of this and why people are questioning her. So listen to this. Tickening, really, that people are asking, where are the babies? Why aren't you showing the babies? Is that something that anyone would want to see

first thing, with their own eyes? Because after the graphic images that I saw of just children's beds covered in blood, I don't think I would be able to stomach those atrocities as well. And I think if people actually listen to the full clips because a lot of times people are using just just cuts from the different clips so 40 babies 40 children

were carried out on on gurney 40 dead children were found and a lot of people are saying babies 40 babies well how does she know that number how old are they and i think that is really the fact that people are focusing on that doesn't matter if they're three months old they're three years old six months old six years old six a six-year-old is someone's baby so the fact that people are still questioning this and after we we have a clip i have on air also we we have these soldiers confirming what they've seen of the mutilation of these children. All right. Now, but her original story was she saw the beheaded babies.

She did. Now, she's backtracked on this. She's backtracked saying she was told. No, she said she saw them. Well, but she backtracked on Twitter by saying she was told by an IDF soldier that there were 40 beheaded babies. Well, even—and this is the tweet here. And I don't know if we're going to get to do the Biden spot here or not because President Biden said he saw a beheaded baby. We have a—we've got a few minutes in the next hour, right?

So Joe Biden said he saw the babies. Yes. And then the White House said, well, not really. Yes. And so everyone who says that they saw them then comes back a day later and says, well, I didn't really say I saw them. Except you did. Could it be propaganda? Two senior administration officials said Biden was referring to reports from Israel about beheaded children and cited several media reports of beheadings. So NBC News, now listen to this, has not confirmed those reports. And an IDF spokesperson,

Major Doran Spielman, told NBC News, that specific report and that number I can't confirm. But Joe Biden said he saw it. Somebody showed it to him. And, Doc, I wouldn't be surprised that a Mossad agent was in the White House and showed him doctored photographs. Right. And then CNN reports this as well. This is today.

Israeli official says government cannot confirm babies were beheaded in Hamas attack. But Bibi Netanyahu told the whole world that they were beheaded. Yes. And Joe Biden saw the beheaded babies. This is an incubator story. Remember the story about the incubators? Oh, yes. President Assad was gassing children in the incubators. Yes.

Same propaganda, same propagandas. Now, I don't deny that there are people that got killed, okay? But when you hear stories like this that roll out. Okay, Doc, here's something. And I don't know if the videos are still out there. and they were leading women out of homes and putting them into golf carts. Yes. And there was one, it was an elderly woman. And there was these Hamas guys were, I mean, respectfully escorting her out to the golf cart. And she was smiling. And she got in the golf cart and she's smiling. And I'm thinking, there's something not right about this video. If she's being kidnapped, why are they not dragging her out by her hair why is she smiling there's something weird about this video then the other one i saw i saw

very dark skinned very black kidnappers terrorists those supposed to be terrorists they were very very black they were african very dark-skinned well you and i have been to the middle east and and arabs aren't dark they're dark-skinned but they're not black they're not african they're not north african they're they're dark-skinned but these men were clearly africans and i thinking, well, when did Palestinians become so African-looking? chapter 14, and today we'll be looking at verses 1 through 7. I'm reading from the King James Version. And it came to pass in Iconium that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed. But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren. Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands but the multitude of the city was divided apart held with the jews and apart with the apostles and when there was an assault made both of the gentiles and also the jews with their rulers to use them despitefully and to

stone them they were aware of it and fled unto lystra and derby cities of leconoi lecaonia and unto the region that lieth round about and there they preached the gospel god bless the reading of his word here so verse 1 they entered together in the synagogue of the Jews and so spoke that a great multitude, both of Jews and of Greeks, believed. So we know that they went to Iconium after being forced strategically important city due to its position on major trade routes in Asia Minor. They entered the synagogue of the Jews, which tells us that they continued to focus on reaching out to Jewish audiences with the gospel. This was Paul's pattern. He always went to the synagogues first. No matter how many times he got beat up, he just kept going back.

The phrase together, they entered together. Other translations say after the same fashion. Suggests that Paul and Barnabas consistently preached in the same manner as a team. They went in as a team. They had their plan. They were working together. And despite the mistreatment that they received in Antioch by the Jews, they were still willing to preach to the Jews in Iconium,

which shows their commitment to sharing the gospel. So the two men spoke passionately, persuasively about Jesus Christ. And they spoke with the demonstration of the power of God. Because their preaching was accompanied by signs and wonders. Yes. And the signs and wonders were proof of God's approval of their message. And as a result of their preaching and the signs and wonders, a large number, not just a handful, a large number of Jews and Greeks believed in the gospel. So Iconium was a city with a diverse population. It had Jews and it had gentiles right so the converts included both those who were already familiar with judaism um the term greeks likely refers to gentile gile Greeks who were in the synagogue.

Right. Yeah. So in this passage, you have three groups of people. You have the Jews, the Greeks, and the Gentiles. So they identify each group separately. So the Greeks were probably either Greek converts or Hellenistic Jews. So either way, but yes. It would get confusing if you didn't realize that.

Yeah, but the main thing is that there was a large multitude of all of them who believed the gospel. Yes. Verse 2, but the disbelieving Jews. Remember, there was a large multitude of Jews who did believe. Yes. But the trouble comes from the disbelieving Jews. The disbelieving Jews stirred up and embittered the souls of the Gentiles against the brothers. This term, disbelieving or unbelieving Jews, obviously refers to Jewish

individuals who rejected the message of the gospel. They were opposed to the growing success of the gospel, and they sought to hinder its progress and how did they do it their opposition involves stirring up the gentiles against paul and barnabas and the new christians creating animosity host hostility, division, strife. The Gentiles that they're referring to here are not the Gentiles who believed, obviously, but were the idolatrous, non- these pagan Gentiles against Paul, Barnabas, and the new Christians in the city. And that phrase stirred up the souls of the Gentiles. Yes. Tells us that the Jews actively worked to provoke feelings of hatred,

bitterness, anger among the Gentiles. But despite the opposition, Paul and Barnabas continued to speak boldly in the Lord. They did not withdraw. They did not cease preaching and teaching to avoid confrontation with the Jews. But they spoke with increased boldness, even as they perceived the anger against them and the growing danger. that Paul and Barnabas derived their courage and their confidence from their relationship with Jesus Christ. In the Lord signifies that their boldness came from their trust in God's grace. God gave testimony to the message of his grace

that the men preached by working with them to confirm the truth of their words signs and wonders were performed by the hands of Paul and Barnabas powerful evidence of the truth of the gospel message. And these signs and wonders and miracles were instrumental in confirming the faith of the new converts

and convincing people to accept the gospel. So what we see in this verse is the city's population became divided into two factions, one supporting the unbelieving Jews and the other standing with Paul and Barnabas. And this division was not limited to just one segment of society, but it cut across all segments of the city. Rulers and the common people. So the preaching of the gospel generated widespread attention.

And a lot of people were talking about it. And it prompted nearly every adult in the city to take a stand. They were either for the gospel or against it. They were either supporting Paul and Barnabas or they were against them. And this opposition was consistent with the pattern of persecution that originated from the Jewish community. There would be Jews who would believe in the name of Jesus, and then there would be Jews who absolutely became livid, full of hatred, and worked day and night to stop the gospel. Ultimately, the opposition did not stop the gospel. God's power was manifested through signs of wonders and a large multitude

of people believed. Then we get to verse three. I like this one. Therefore, they stayed there a long time. What they were doing to them didn't bother him. They doubled down. Therefore, they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who testified to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. Apostle Paul and Barnabas remained in the city for a significant period of time. And that emphasized their commitment to the work of spreading the gospel and discipling the new converts. You know, more timid and fearful men and women would have run away from the city to escape the Jewish opposition. But Paul and Barnabas doubled down.

They unpacked their suitcases and said, hey, we're going to stay here for a while. And we'll see later they left. But they left at the time of their choosing. That's right. They left when they decided it was time to leave. Their prolonged stay in Iconium obviously was a response to the events that we've already talked about their reception among gentiles

and the opposition that they were receiving from the unbelieving jews but their presence was intended to confirm the new believers in the faith to comfort them, to support them. Paul and Barnabas were saying to the new Christians, we're not going to run away from you. We're not going to leave you here with these hateful Jews. We're going to stay. We're going to disciple you. And at the right time, we'll move on.

And during that time, they continued to preach and teach. The phrase speaking boldly in the Lord, it means that they were proclaiming a message authorized by God, relying on his strength and his guidance. It implies that their confidence and courage was based on their relationship with Jesus Christ. They spoke boldly in the Lord. And they preached, the gospel that they preached was described as the word of his grace. Meaning that it reveals God's gracious plan for favor, mercy, salvation offered to all humanity through faith in Jesus Christ. God provided testimony to the truth of their message through signs and wonders.

Right. These miracles played a crucial role in affirming the validity of the gospel, attesting to its divine origin. The signs and wonders confirmed the authority and authenticity of the teaching. They were intended to convince the people of the truth of the gospel and to lead them to faith in Jesus Christ. The signs and wonders demonstrated that God was actively working through Paul and Barnabas. They were not intended to be the foundation of the... Paul and Barnabas were not there to start a religion of miracles and signs and wonders.

Right. But they were there to confirm, to be a witness to the gospel message. Paul did not advertise throughout Iconium that his miracle ministry was coming to town. He didn't put on a show. He preached the gospel and God performed the miracles. Amen. There you go. And the reason that God performed the miracles was to validate to the people

that what Paul was telling them about salvation through Jesus Christ, that that message came directly from heaven. Rick, are you suggesting that there are a lot of ministries that put the cart before the horse on this issue? Absolutely. Signs and wonders out front instead of the gospel message absolutely the moment now that i you know i see it differently now when i see somebody advertising their signs and wonders miracle miracle ministry i know they're they're showmen they're showmen they they want to be seen as working miracles but do they preach the gospel when you go to their meetings do you hear about the cross when you go to their meetings

do you hear about the virgin birth of jesus do you hear about the sinless life of jesus Do you hear about the crucifixion, the resurrection, the ascension? Most of the times you don't. It's all about the preacher and the miracles he's going to do. And the truth is God does miracles in these meetings because he has mercy on the people. He's got our father has mercy. He sees people who are sick and desperate for an answer.

And the Lord overlooks the preacher who's on stage strutting around wanting attention. So we get to verse four and verse four says the multitude of the city was divided. Part sided with the Jews and part with the apostles. So this verse begins by stating that. The multitude of the city, the vast majority of the city population, was divided. Some stood with the Jews and some stood with Barnabas and Paul. This division was the result of the preaching of Paul and Barnabas, and that indicates the polarizing effect of the gospel message. Jesus said, I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

Yes. He wasn't talking about violence. He wasn't talking about bloodshed. He was saying that his word would be a sword. And yet he also said, blessed are the peacemakers, too. Yes. But true peace only comes through Jesus Christ. That's right. So they're not contradictory. No. The peace he's talking about, blessed are the peacemakers,

are those who reconcile lost sinners with their heavenly father. Yes. They make peace between sinners and God. So the preaching of Barnabas and Paul led to resistance and opposition from some. And that resulted in them refusing to believe and then stirring up anger against them and that anger became hostility and it became dangerous but it was very similar to the opposition experienced by Jesus during his ministry and who opposed Jesus the Pharisees and the Sadducees

and so the signs and wonders didn't cause the the hard-hearted to convert think about that either in Jesus's ministries or in the uh in the uh ministry of the apostles uh so healings maybe even you know resurrections who knows um but it didn't change the hard-hearted they actually became angry that's right you healed that man on the sab. You broke our religious laws. They didn't care about the crippled man. Right. They just cared about their Judaism. Stony hearts.

Yes. So those who stood with the Jews, the disbelieving Jews, because remember, a lot of Jews believed. But what's happening now is that the disbelieving jews because remember a lot of jews believed but what's happening now is that the disbelieving jews are trying to win back the jews who believed they're trying to convince them you made a mistake come back to the synagogue so those who held with the Jews rejected the doctrines as false and regarded the miracles as delusions. What did they say about Jesus? He does this through the devil.

They're doing the same thing here. In other words, they recognize that there were people out there that were doing miracles, but they were miracles from Satan. Because the people were saying to the Jewish religious leaders, how come you haven't done any miracles? How come we come to your synagogue and God doesn't show up and do miracles? So their answer was, those miracles are from Satan, from the devil, which is blasphemy. Yes. So we see that the apostles' preaching led to resistance and opposition from some. And that resulted in them refusing to believe and stirring up anger. And then the apostles faced hostility from those who rejected the gospel.

And those people sought to turn the people against Saul and Barnabas. And so this eventually got to the point where it became physically dangerous. And at some point, Saul and Barnabas had to make a decision. So there's some things that's important to understand here. The word division used in this verse reflects the spiritual tension and conflict that accompanies the preaching of the gospel. Division is a normal response. We should not be there, but it is. Right. So the reaction of the people who refused to believe the gospel, this revealed the spiritual state of the people who refused to believe the gospel. This revealed the spiritual state of the city. These divisions among the people were a reflection of the spiritual warfare taking place in the city.

Devils come out of the shadows when the gospel is declared. They reveal their presence. And sometimes it's very shocking to discover who is aligned with Satan because their masks come off I have seen it in my lifetime when when the pure gospel is preached with power and boldness I've seen people that I thought were saved come unglued. They weren't saved. They were religious. And their religious mask come off.

And then they realize, oh, I just outed myself remember satan has has tears in every church yes tears tears are weeds that imitate wheat tears in churches are people who imitate Christians. Their purpose in being in the church is to hinder the real gospel from being preached. Yes. Another important principle here in this verse is that this highlights the importance of personal choice when encountering the gospel message. Each person is personally responsible for how he or she responds to the presentation of the gospel. You are not responsible for the decisions made by others, including the people closest to you, the people whom you love the most.

That's difficult. But each person must make his or her own decision about Jesus Christ in the gospel. So the divisions, the conflicts, all demonstrated the power of the gospel. Yes. And it had the capacity to stir hearts and to force people to take a stand for it or against it, to provoke actions, positive and negative. So then we get to verse 5.

When some of both the Gentiles and of the Jews, and with their rulers, made a violent attempt to mistreat and stone them. This verse describes the critical moment in Iconium where an assault or a hostile intent was directed towards Paul and Barnabas. And this hostile intent involved both Gentiles and Jews, including their individual rulers. Yes. Their respective rulers. Rulers of the Jews, rulers of the Gentiles. The rulers of the Jews included the officials in the synagogue, the rabbis, the elders,

who were cooperating with the rulers of the Gentiles. And so you see here Gentiles and Jews who typically did not get along with each other, but they're united now in opposition to the gospel. And it illustrates the extent to which religious leaders will influence secular leaders to sway public opinion against the gospel and against Paul and Barnabas. The primary purpose of this opposition was to treat Paul and Barnabas shamefully. And this mistreatment included not only verbal assaults, but they were plotting physical harm. The opposition was fueled by the Jewish accusation of blasphemy, and stoning was the punishment for blasphemy and so they portrayed Paul and Barnabas as blasphemers against God they intended to stone them and that that intention to stone them demonstrates the seriousness of the opposition that these men were facing right

they wanted them dead they wanted them dead they were willing to kill them they'll kill human life to stop the gospel yes but this is similar to the same pattern we saw in the life of Jesus, where both religious leaders and civil government leaders opposed his teaching. But again, Paul and Barnabas remained steadfast and continued to preach and eventually went on to other cities. So we get to verse six and they became aware of it and fled to the cities. The cities of the surrounding region. So at this point, we see the narrative shifts to the apostles becoming aware of the violent intent against them. And it escalated to the point where an actual physical assault on Paul and Barnabas was

imminent. And so the Bible says that they were alerted to the danger. It doesn't tell us how they became aware of it, whether it was through the Holy Spirit, through an angel, through just word on the street. Could have been somebody saying, hey, I was down at the granary and I heard two men talking about the plan to have you arrested and stoned to death. We't know the only thing that's important is that they found out about the plot and they decided paul and barnabas decided this is the time we leave you might say well wait a minute they were bold and courageous they stayed and preached yes up until the time

they were going to be killed what's the point what's the point in staying to be killed right at that point your time is up you can't do any preaching and teaching in the grave right so you leave you leave you do leave. You do what Jesus said. Flee and go to the next city. Shake the dust off your shoes and move on. So there's nothing cowardly about fleeing when it's under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. That's right. I mean, Jesus many times slipped through the crowd yes they look for

and they're ready to grab him and he just disappeared and the scripture actually says because it was not his time it wasn't his time to die and it wasn't it wasn't paul and barnabas's time to die yeah because there's a lot of people that condemn those that will maybe move to another country or go somewhere else and everything. Well, you're just, you know, you're just fleeing a bad situation. If you were really brave, you'd stick with it. But no, there's a time to reserve your resources and your life in order for the gospel to be preached. Yes.

And many Christians have stayed too long. That's true, too. And died. Because they were afraid to flee. That's the thing isn't it rick yes sometimes they well i can't go somewhere else i don't know what it's like it's unknown something like that and so the fear works the other way too that's right that's right um verse seven they preached the good news there they preached the good news where's there the other

cities yes lystra and derby so so they didn't quit they're still preaching they moved on to other cities they said okay we can't do anymore here we're you know if we stay here we're going to die they stayed as long as they could stay. They discipled the new Christians and then there came a day they said, if we stay one more day, we're going to die. So they moved on to other cities and there they preached the good news. What is the good news? The good news is the gospel. The incarnation of Christ. The virgin birth.

Redemption. Peace with God. Pardon of sins through Christ's blood. Justification by his righteousness. Salvation. Eternal life. That's the gospel. That's the good news. That's what they preached.

Just some closing thoughts. The division in Iconium was not caused by Barnabas and Paul, but it resulted from the reaction of the people to the preaching of the gospel. The gospel was the source of the division. Yes. And the gospel produces division because it confronts sinful thoughts and behaviors, sinful attitudes of the heart. That's what provokes the opposition. So the gospel can bring unity to those who believe in Jesus and division to those who oppose it. Unity in Christ is desirable, but not at the expense of compromising the gospel. Amen. Amen. For the sake of tolerance. Yes. And that's where we're at in America today. So many churches are tolerant. They're tolerant of the intolerant. Yes.

They're afraid of division. Afraid of confrontation. Division is sometimes necessary. When the gospel is at odds with the world. Unity with God is more important than unity with the world. And whenever division about the gospel arises, we need to be wise in discerning who is to blame for the division that appears when the gospel is preached.

Don't react quickly, but be cautious and ask the Holy Spirit to tell you, why is our church divided? Why is our family divided? Why is this ministry divided right now what's happened and who's doing it right who's causing the division because the people who cause the division are the ones who oppose the gospel yes well doc that's it for me today hey i did have a question for you though about verse two uh and get your thoughts on it here uh the king james reads uh but the unbelieving jews stirred up the gentiles and made their minds evil affected against the brethren but the new king james modern English version says uh but

the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren what do you think is meant by poisoned their minds how do you think that the unbelieving Jews poisoned their minds I I I alluded to it when when I was talking about verse 2. They were actively being very treacherous. They were spreading lies and false accusations to the believers, to the new believers saying, come back to the synagogue. You've joined a cult. You know who we are. We've been here for centuries. Come back to the synagogue. You're getting away from God. We're the chosen people. They were poisoning the minds of people against Jesus Christ, the gospel, and against Paul and Barnabas.

They lied. They made false accusations. They lied about Jesus. They said, we heard the story about this Jesus. He was a rebel. He was a revolutionary. He was put to death because he was trying to start a revolution in Jerusalem. And he got buried. He's not alive. They were doing everything that they could to poison the minds of the people that believed the used nothing's changed yeah what did what did Ben

Shapiro say a couple years ago about Jesus he deserved to be crucified he was a rebel a revolutionary that and that's what Shapiro said all right our good conservative friend and so but well I wanted to get your thoughts on that because that stood out to me when I saw it in the modern English. It poisoned their mind. I mean, it's the same propaganda today. One other thing I noticed too, verse four, it said, but most of the city was divided and part held with the Jews and part with the apostles. I believe this is the first time in the book of Acts that Paul and Barnabas are identified as apostles. Yes. And so for those that say, well, Paul was never an apostle because we've got those people that are

talking around out there, you know, Paul's not of God and all this other crazy nonsense. But here in verse 4, and I think it does it again in verse 14, calls both Paul and Barnabas. Yes, Barnabas is also named as an apostle. Right. And what is an apostle? An apostle is an ambassador of a government. Apostle and ambassador mean the same thing. Paul and Barnabas were ambassadors

of the government of heaven. And they were colonizing unruly territories, bringing those territories into the king. An ambassador says, I have an official word from my king. An ambassador doesn't give his own opinions. He gives the opinions of the king or the president or the prime minister. He establishes before the people. This is what the king or the president or the prime minister. He establishes before the people, this is what

the king expects. These are the laws of the king. We have a way that we talk and behave, and you need to conform. You need to be brought into the kingdom. Change the way you think change the way you talk change the way you act how should we behave and talk like the king yes be like the king's son he's your model he's your role model the king gave you his son so you have a role model be like him that's what an ambassador does. Right. All right. Well, this is a great teaching today, Rick, as usual.

I just, I can't look at it. I got up at 2.30 in the morning and began praying for the children. God, have mercy on them. Have mercy. Either take their lives quickly and get them out of here with no more pain, or God, stand up from your throne and strike the Zionists. Do something. Do something. Don't let these children continue to suffer. They're in the hundreds of thousands. Do you realize, Doc, what is this, the third day without water?

We're going into day three, yes. How long can you live without water? Well, really, no more than three to four days. And have you ever, do you know what extreme dehydration does to people it is an extremely painful death right your kidneys shut down and the people scream they scream i don't think people understand that people dying of lack of water scream. It is so great. And I woke up at 2.30 in the morning thinking of children. I kept thinking of them in the hospitals in Gaza with no lights, no water, no food, and most likely no adults.

Yes. The adults probably left and went home to be with their families to die. And I brought this out on True News the other day. Half the Gaza population is under the age of 15. Half. I can't. I was trying at 2 30 in the morning just trying to imagine that the hell hole that gaza is right now

and i i go i look on tv and i go online and twitter and stuff and i just see these zionists just begging for moreists just begging for more death, just begging for it openly, openly talking about total eradication of the Palestinian people. One I saw one Zionist on Twitter, somebody said, well well what about these little kids and she tweeted back well they should not of these Hamas people it's their fault They're children. I'm just at the place where I want Jesus to come back. I'm so tired of this world, Doc. It's an ugly world. It's not a good world anymore.

You can't have a peaceful, wonderful life anymore. You can't live 70, 80, 90 years and just have a good life anymore. They've destroyed it. The synagogue of Satan defiles everything they touch. They bring death and destruction everywhere they go. And you've got Blinken in Jerusalem today meeting with Netanyahu. You know that they're planning the war.

Yes. Rick, there's coming a day there'll be no more tears. I know. There's coming that day. No more suffering. Lord Jesus, come. Lord Jesus, come. I don't want this

world anymore. I want Jesus. He's going to give us a new earth. Yes. A new earth with no blood stains in it. Hallelujah. I'm waiting on him. I'm Hallelujah. I'm waiting on him. I'm waiting.

that god and would protect especially the believers there um the christian believers in gaza and the west bank and and now i guess in lebanon and jordan too from the looks of it based on the news reports today so So continue to pray for believers there that God will keep his watchful hand over them.
