This is True News, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help us God. I'm Rick Wiles. Today is Thursday, December 7, 2023. Jesus told us there would be wars and rumors of wars in the last days. We will start today's True News with a rumor of a new war. A military conflict is brewing in South America. We have this headline from CNN. Venezuela's president orders creation of new state and map including land from Guyana. Doc, this I think has caught a lot of us by surprise. Yes.

Suddenly in South America, we could have a military conflict in the coming weeks or months. And as you're going to hear in this report, the U.S. is already moving military hardware to this zone in preparation of a war. And what's the war over? What is always over? Oil right now in our day and time. It's either oil or natural gas. Let's take a look at what CNN reported. Well, CNN is saying that Venezuela's president ordered the creation of a new state called Guyana-Ecequiba on Tuesday following a controversial Sunday referendum which saw Venezuelan voters approving the annexation of land from neighboring Guyana.

Now, the area in question, the densely forested and oil-rich Ecequiba region, amounts to about two-thirds of Guyana's national territory. Venezuela has long claimed the land dismisses an 1899 ruling by international arbitrators that set the current boundaries. Now, talking to legislators on Tuesday, President Maduro showed a new map of Venezuela, including the disputed territory, and said all residents from the area would be granted Venezuelan nationality. He said the map would be distributed throughout all schools and public buildings in the country. We actually have a picture of that map here. I want to say this. When I first read this story on Tuesday,

I had no knowledge of the details about what was in dispute in my head, Doc, I just assumed, I just imagined that they were talking about a few thousand acres. Oh, no. In the U.S., maybe the size of some counties, some large counties, like maybe 10, 20, 30,000 acres that this was in dispute. But then I saw the map. Yes. It's half saw the map. Yes. It's half of Guyana. Yes.

So down at the bottom of the map there, the area that is in the striped region is what Venezuela, next door to the map on the left, is now claiming. It's the size of Venezuela. Yes. And if you can imagine, imagine if Mexico all of a sudden said, we're claiming Texas.

Which they tried years ago. And so that's about the size of this region right here. A little bit more than that. But what's important to understand is the map on the ocean. Because that shows the various oil fields that are in play right now. And that is what this is really all about. And this map is from Petroleum World. And so they're actually showing the oil fields off the coast of Guyana and Venezuela.

With this new reclamation of territory of Guyana, Venezuela is basically taking control over any oil fields that Guyana might have had in the past. So Mr. Maduro found a way to balance his budget. That's right. The country suddenly is much richer than it was yesterday. Now, Guyana might have a different opinion on this. Obviously, but they don't have a big military. When's the last time you've been concerned about an invasion from Guyana? Really, haven't been at all. So who's going to fight for Guyana? Let me rephrase that.

Who's going to fight for the oil? That's what it's all about. It's about oil. I don't know who owns the land. I don't know. What I do know is it for the oil. That's what it's all about. It's about oil. I don't know who owns the land. I don't know. What I do know is it's about oil. It's not about land. It's about oil. Right. But whoever controls that land has the legal ownership of the oil under the sea. So we'll take a look at this story from Bloomberg. Guyana boosts security, engages the United States to defend land from Venezuela. So America may be going to war in Venezuela.

And they've kind of wanted to have this kind of standoff with Venezuela for a long time. Years ago, they were trying to get a war going, and it didn't work. Now, it looks like Mr. Maduro may have given the United States the cover to send troops to South America and battle the Venezuelan army. Well, Guyana said that it's intensifying its security measures and engaging the U.S. military to help it protect the oil-rich region of Ezequiel, describing Venezuela's intentions to grant oil exploration licenses in the area as a threat to its territorial integrity.

So what Venezuela is doing now, now that they've claimed this area, is they're granting licenses to companies to go out and start accessing this oil, that they have the authority to do it. Now, the U. the UN Security Council is planning to hold a closed-door meeting on Friday, and that's according to two people familiar with the matter. Now, both sides will have the chance to speak before the council's 15 members. Guyanese President Ifran Ali said in an earlier statement that his country had asked the Security Council to take appropriate action, but no immediate decision is expected at this point, according to the people.

Now, of course, there's another country that borders both Guyana and Venezuela, and that's the country of Brazil. And because of all this tension that's now between Venezuela and Guyana, Brazil, according to the BBC, is deploying its troops to the border with Venezuela as well. So you could have a regional-wide conflict going on here in South America. And this wasn't in play here weeks ago. This is all new development now. So when we talk about world war, we're talking about the world.

The entire world. Now it's reaching into South America and the U.S. Southern Command is now involved in this conflict between Venezuela and Guyana. You see this report, U.S. Military Southern Command conducting flight operations over Guyana. Right. So the U.S. Embassy in Georgetown, Guyana, has announced that the U.S. Southern Command will conduct flight operations within Guyana today. Now, according to that statement, the exercise is building upon routine engagement and operations to enhance security partnership between the U.S. and Guyana and to strengthen regional cooperation. Now, the embassy

noted that in addition to the exercise, U.S. South Com will continue its collaboration with the GDF in the areas of disaster preparedness, aerial and maritime security, and countering transnational criminal organizations. It quotes as saying the U.S. will continue its commitment as Guyana's trusted security partner and promoting regional cooperation and interoperability, the statement from the embassy said. Now, while the embassy announcement indicated that the flights would take place today, a new source understands that they were being conducted over Guyana since last weekend in wake of the Venezuelan referendum vote.

Just last week, the chief of staff of the Guyana Defense Force held talks with U.S. military officials. So discussions were also held with other security forces globally in wake of Venezuela's ongoing threats against Guyana. Wait a minute. Back up here. Read that last sentence. That they've been talking with other partners, other security forces around the globe in wake of Venezuela's ongoing threats against Ghana. Around the globe. Yes. That means NATO. Yes. That means NATO.

So Great Britain, the European countries, Australia, New Zealand, maybe Japan. Who else? The U.S. is talking globally to military partners about operations in Venezuela. The World War III has come to've got something I want to share with our audience. It's Christmastime. And this ministry, we've been in operation for nearly a quarter of a century. And over the years, we've done many, many acts of kindness and goodness and humanitarian relief. And we've just, we've helped families, we've built homes, we've done a lot of things. We've dug water wells in Africa, we've built orphanages. We fed orphans in Haiti after the earthquake.

It's something that we do. And we don't talk a lot about the things that we do, partially because Jesus said, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Just do it. Just do what you're supposed to do. We want to give you an opportunity to be part of something this Christmas. So go to your Heavenly Father and ask Him for help, and then He will speak to somebody to help you. So she did not come to us and ask for help. But my wife, Susan, was touched by her plight. And Susan was just communicating with her through emails. And this woman sent photographs of where she lives. She lives in a camper. And she's in a mobile home park in Ohio. And when Susan saw the photographs of her living conditions, the camper was full of mold. Yes.

Oh, here it is. Okay, so that's the camper that she lives in. Right. And she told Susan that she has health problems because her camper is old and it's just covered with mold on the inside. There it is. You see the mold on the ceiling. And she's breathing in these mold spores every day. Look at that.

And so Susan came to me and she said, Rick, we really should do something to help this woman. She loves True News. She's watching the program every day. Look at this. This is pretty rough. But again, she didn't ask for help. She wasn't sharing this with Susan because she was asking for help.

In fact, what we're about to do was the farthest thing from her mind. She was just telling Susan, I'm sick because I have to breathe in, I'm breathing in all these mold spores and I can't afford another home.

So Doc and I, and so we talked this over and we decided we're going to purchase a new camper for her. In fact, Doc has been working with various dealers and there it is. That's the one we have selected. And Doc, I understand it's two years old years old yes two years old and uh it's in great condition and it's beautiful inside really it was hardly used at all and it's a repossession the dealer just got it back into ownership so you see it and it's actually just a couple feet shorter than what she's in now, but it's a lot more room for her, too. Plus, no mold. That's a key thing there.

But this is going to be a much better place for her and a place where she can get things restarted, get her health back in shape. Your environment makes a big difference in your life, Rick. And so she needs a fresh environment here. And so what we're doing is we're – What's the price? What did the dealer quote us? Normally this retails around $65,000. We're able to get it for $29,000.

$29,000. Right. And so this is – About half price. Right. And they gave us a little bit of help on that and everything when I told them what we're doing. We'll have some cost in moving her old

camper out and then moving this one in. Yes. And then also Susan and I feel very strongly that we need to furnish her home. It comes with the appliances and the bed and so forth.

But we want to furnish this new home with new bed linens, blankets, pillows, pots and pans. Just give her something new and items that aren't covered with mold. Right. And so anyhow, we'll spend some money making sure that her home is furnished with nice things as we go into Christmas. She lives in Ohio. The weather is obviously cold there now. And if I recall, did she have a heating problem? Yes. and if I recall, did she have a heating problem? Yes. In fact, if you saw in one of the pictures there,

you saw the appliance that was on the ceiling there. That used to be the heater. So she has no heat? She has heat, but she's from one of the little space heaters, which of course is not safe. Which is not safe. That's not safe. So she's heating the trailer with a space heater right all right um so roughly uh we know we've 29 000 plus the the fees to move it and to put take the old one out

take it somewhere and discard it and and then the money for bed linens and pots and pans and basic things just to give her a nice home, a nice new beginning at Christmastime. So I don't know roughly. What are we thinking, Doc? $33,000, $35,000? I would say somewhere in the $33,000, $34,000 range. Okay. How many of you would like to be part of it?
