General Shogu held telephone talks with the head of the Pentagon,

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shogun spoke by phone with Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin, the Russian military department said. Now, it is specified that the conversation took place at the initiative of Washington. And according to a Pentagon source, the parties discussed the incident with the American MQ-9 drone over the Black Sea. Now, Austin, in particular, told his Russian colleague that the U.S. would continue flying over international waters. Doc, that's big right there. That phone call today that Secretary Austin told General Chagall, who's the defense minister, he's a retired general, but also their secretary of defense. Secretary Alston told General Chagoo,

we're not going to stop sending these drones over the Black Sea. We're going to do it again tomorrow. We're going to do it every day that we want to, which now the fight is on because I think you're right, but you said yesterday, Russia sent a message to the United States.

They kind of tapped that drone. It wasn't a direct hit. They didn't fire missiles at it, but they helped it land in the water. They assisted the drones crash into the water. That was a message to Washington. Stay out of the Black Sea. Don't come near us again, or the next one's going to get shot down. So today, Secretary Austin told General Chagoo,

we're going to fly these drones any day we want to. This now puts the ball back into Russia's court. So the next one is going to be a shoot-down. I think the Russians are probably, let's say before we get to a shoot- i think the russians are going to start using their jamming equipment well supposedly they used it on this drone that severed the satellite link which is why it all right um but uh i i think they're going to start using um sophisticated means to force these drones uh to to crash if not they're going to start using sophisticated means to force these drones to crash. If not, they're just going to use old-fashioned missiles that will be shot at them from aircraft and take

them down. What happens then? If this happens tonight or tomorrow, and suddenly the headlines are telling us the breaking news. Russia shoots down a drone. Russia shoots down an American drone. The warmongers in America will be immediately demanding retaliation. It'll be immediate. They'll activate Article 5. This was an attack on a NATO member. That's how close we are to this war.

Now, one of the things you like to do when we're considering these stories, Rick, is we flip the script, right? So imagine there's a drone. The Russians claim this drone, the transponder was off and was approaching Russian territory. It's a spy drone. Okay. So let's flip the script, and let's say that there was a Russian drone headed toward the eastern seaboard. Its transponder was off.

What would be the response of the United States toward an approaching unknown drone that was approaching the eastern seaboard? Well, Doc, let's make it a little bit more dramatic because instead of saying the Atlantic Ocean, you look at a map of the Black Sea. It's more comparable to the Gulf of Mexico. Okay. Let's use the Gulf. Okay. So now if there's a Russian spy drone flying over the Gulf of Mexico, transponders off,

and headed towards Texas, what would the United States do? They would bring out the jets and they would shoot it down. They would shoot it down. Or I would think they would. They don't shoot down balloons. And rightfully so.

Rightfully so. They would have every right to shoot it down. The Russians, from their point of view, we are threatening them. And what was the American surveillance drone doing? Providing intelligence to the Ukrainian army. Right. There's a war going on down there. And the United States knows it. The United States is participating in the war. The Russians, what they said, through their action they said we're done with this. We're done.

They declared the Black Sea a no-fly zone quite some time ago in this war. Right, yes. Back last summer, actually. There are no U.S. ships in the Black Sea. Why are there no... If this is international waters, why are there no U.S. warships in the Black Sea? Because they don't want the ships to get sunk. That's why. But they'll send in a spy drone

with no humans in it. So the Russians have told the Americans, from now on, we're going to take down your planes, your spy drones. But Mr. Alston told the Russian defense minister today, we're going to send them. We're not backing down. So this is from defense.gov. This is the readout of that call that Mr. Lloyd Austin and General Shogu had. And this is attributed to Pentagon Press Secretary Air Force Brigadier General Pat Ryder. It says, today, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin spoke by phone with Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shogun regarding recent unprofessional, dangerous, and reckless behavior by the Russian Air Force in international airspace over the Black Sea.

Secretary Austin emphasized that the United States will continue to fly and to operate wherever international law allows. It doesn't mean they have to follow international law because if you're in international waters, you're supposed to have a transponder on. And that's the claim by Russia that the transponder was off. Now, the U.S. has not said whether it's on or off. So that means it was off. Mr. Lavrov, the foreign minister, had comments about the incident with the drone as well.

And he basically said any initiative that provokes a clash of nuclear powers poses serious risk. And the article here says Washington does not take into account the fact that after the start of the special operation in Ukraine, that there are restrictions on flights in the coastal regions of the Black Sea. And that's according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking to Pavel Zarubin on the Moscow Kremlin Putin program. We have a little bit of video there where Mr. Lavrov is speaking to Mr. Zarubin about this very incident here. It goes on to say they completely ignore the fact that after the start of the

special military operation, our military declared the relevant areas of the Black Sea adjacent in certain places as areas with a limited status for the use of any aircraft. And Mitchell Avrov stressed that any incidents that prompt a clash between the two great nuclear powers will always pose a risk. And according to him, the United States authorities cannot fail to understand this. And so Mr. Lavrov is also sending a message there as well, that they're going to continue to respond in kind to any threats to Russian sovereignty at all. That's the message I got from what Mr. Lavrov is saying. I had to help the American people who would like a war with Russia to help you think this through. Let's go back in time to the American invasion and occupation of Iraq, which was done under false pretenses. George Bush and Dick Cheney, Colin Powell, Tony Blair lied to the world

because they wanted that war. So they made up a storyline, and they stuck with the storyline, and they invaded Iraq. So what if, while American troops were on the ground fighting the Iraqis, what if Russian spy drones flew near the border of Iraq and provided the Iraqi army with intelligence about the American troops? Well, that would be... Would that be Russia's participation in the Iraq War? Absolutely.

And would the Pentagon have shot down those Russian planes? Yes. There would have been no question about it. Then what's the debate about right now? Russia has reached a point where they're saying, we're done with playing the game according to America's rules. America doesn't

set the rules. Since World War II, we've been setting the rules. Even though there's no rule book. There is no rule book. They just make up the rules as they go along. Whatever they want it to be, those are the rules. And Russia reached a point where they said we're done with

this. And that's what Russia is really doing. So you're challenging the rule, what they call the rules-based world order. Except there are no rules. Well, the rule is that- They rule. Yes, that's it. Now, this article here that we have next is, this is coming out of TASS. Mr. Petrushev says that Russia will try to recover the remains of that drone that fell into the Black Sea. He says that the Russian side will try to recover the wreckage of the American MQ-9 drone that fell into the Black Sea in order to study it. This is coming from Nikolai Petrushev. He's the secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. And he spoke this on the air with Rosaya One TV channel in an interview, the same program with Pavel Zarubin, Moscow Kremlin, and Putin, which is putting out a lot of information here lately.

If we can put that TASS article back up on the screen, let's get the picture of Mr. Petrushev. I want to tell you guys something. If something happened to Vladimir Putin, I would say this man right here is first in line to replace Putin. He is more Russian deep state than Putin would ever be in his wildest dreams. I'm sorry, that man is Russian deep state. You think they would push Petrushev over Medvedev? I think Mr. Medvedev

is auditioning for the job. I got you. Okay. He's got to out Petrushev. Petrushev isrushchev is Petrushchev is the Cheney, the Dick Cheney of Russia.

So retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman

says he is concerned that Russia could recover and exploit the U.S. drone that crashed into the Black Sea on Tuesday, so he's worried about it. Vindman, a Ukrainian-born former official for ex-President Donald Trump whose whistleblower testimony was instrumental in Trump's first impeachment, said on Twitter that Russia may be best positioned to recover the MQ-9 Reaper drone and exploit its technology. Now, Vindman said that while the incident was likely caused by pilot error on behalf of the Russians, the U.S. will have to deal with it, the fallout, that is,

of Russia bringing down the $32 million aircraft and potentially stealing its technology. This is likely an accident, pilot error, Vindman tweeted on Tuesday afternoon. He said, but the U.S. has to deal with the reality that Russia forced down an expensive and capable drone. Russia will interpret a lack of response as an invite for more bad behavior, he added. I'm concerned that Russia is best positioned to recover and exploit the tech. Doc, one other story. We've known about it for several weeks, and it's one of those stories that there's so much that piles up on us every day.

And we put things off and say, okay, we're going to talk about it tomorrow. But it's the story of what Zelensky is doing to the Russian Orthodox Church. He is seizing ancient church buildings. to leave Kiev Monastery. And it says that the Ukrainian officials on Friday ordered a historically Russian-aligned wing of the Orthodox Church to leave a monastery complex in Kiev where it is based, the latest move against a denomination regarded with deep suspicion by the government. So Zelensky doesn't like the Orthodox Church. Well, at least the Russian Orthodox Church. But it's the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Right. But he doesn't trust them. So he's going after the Christians. Kiev is cracking down on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which accepted the authority of the Patriarch of Moscow until after Russia launched its invasion last year.

Number 34, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church said it severed its ties with Russia and is the victim of a political witch hunt. So I'm going to drop down to number 35. In a statement, it said the probe had revealed that the UAC, this was the government's probe, had violated the terms of the agreement regarding the use of state property. So Zelensky's declaring the church property to be state property. He's seizing churches. That's right. And this isn't getting any airplay in the West at all.

None. And he said it's part of his drive to achieve spiritual independence. So you have a man who is not a Christian. I don't know if he's a practicing Jew at all, but he's not a Christian. And he's claiming that he is leading Ukraine to spiritual independence. And the way to do it is to shut down the Orthodox Church. Sounds more like Antichrist, doesn't it? Yes.

I mean, isn't that what the Antichrist would do? The man of perdition? He would shut down churches, not open them back up. So the next one, this is from Reuters also, Russian Orthodox church head appeals against the eviction of the church from Kiev. As his patriarch Kirill, head of the Russian Orthodox church on Saturday,

asked Pope Francis and other religious leaders to persuade Ukraine to stop a crackdown against a historically Russian-aligned wing of the church. Kiev on Friday ordered the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to leave a monastery complex where it's based. The latest move against the denomination that the government says is pro-Russian and collaborating with Moscow. Well, you know, Hitler did this to the churches of Germany. He shut down churches. Unless they... Unless they submitted to the Third Reich.

And a lot of them did, didn't they? They did. They were afraid. They were afraid. They put swastikas on the church to tell the Nazis, leave us alone. We're not going to fight you. But there were other churches that said,

we are free and independent churches and we're not going to submit to the Third Reich. And those were called the confessing churches. Right. And a lot of those pastors died. The next one, we're going to jump down to another World War III article, Yonhap News out of South Korea.

South Korea and the United States doing a big war exercise. The North Koreans, as as usual are worked up they're convinced that it's

going to go hot, it's going to go live and so the North Koreans as typical they're firing off missiles just about every day this week and the Pentagon sent a message today.

We'll eliminate North Korea. We will eliminate North Korea. Now, are we that close to an outbreak of nuclear war out of North Korea also? Would anything surprise you in this atmosphere right now? No, not right now, not at this point. This is bizarre. We're in bizarro land.

Saudi energy minister says, we will not sell oil to any country that sets a price cap. Well, name a country that is setting price caps on oil. The United States. The United States of America. Now, we've been doing it soft-handed right now. Well, I would say hard-handed too with

Europe against Russia, of course. But we've never extended that beyond Russia until now. The Biden administration came up with this scheme that the U.S. would tell Russia, this is how much you can sell your oil. Think of the arrogance. Just think of the arrogance. The United States is telling Russia, we will tell you the price you can sell your oil. Now, something new is happening here. There is something, a new bill that's being considered called NOPEC. It's anti-OPEC. Right. So Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdullah bin Salman suggested there is a possibility of imposing a price cap on Saudi oil exports, and we will not sell oil to any country that imposes a cap on our supplies. So sending a direct message to the U.S., Prince Abdulaziz

made his remarks in an interview published by Energy Intelligence, which was reported by the Saudi press agency in response to a question about reintroducing the NOPEC bill. Well, what is the NOPEC bill? Well, the No Oil Producing and Exporting Cartels Bill is intended to protect U.S. consumers and businesses from engineered oil spikes by group action from bodies such as OPEC and OPEC Plus. Now, it has yet to be brought into law, but Prince Abdulaziz stated that Saudi will reduce oil production and would not be surprised if other countries took the same measure. So that's a direct threat there. If the United States does decide to go through with establishing the NOPEC bill, then they're going to respond in kind. Now there's been,

you know, the relationship between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia has been touchy here lately. Now they're talking about bringing out an investigation of human rights abuses against Saudi Arabia. This is how far things have deteriorated in a very short time between the United States and Saudi Arabia. I guess maybe about 7% of America's oil is imported from Saudi Arabia.

So, I mean, if they did cut off oil sales to us, I mean, there's an immediate drop of 7%. Right. Which is going to be felt. You lose 7% of your supply, there's going to be a price increase in the United States. But the European countries that are part of NATO, they're going to lose oil also. But a much higher percentage. Yes. And the implication from Prince Abdulaziz is that the Saudis won't be alone in this. There would be other countries that are aligned within OPEC that would respond in kind as well.

So what do we see? We see the Saudis saying, we're fed up with America telling us how to run things. We're fed up with it. We're just fed up with pompous, arrogant, rich, powerful Americans from their ruling class telling everybody else in the world how to run their government. We're done with it.

We don't need them anymore. The thing that's hurting America the most right now is the pompous arrogance of the ruling class of this nation. If they would just humble themselves and say, you know what, we've gotten out of control. We really have been misbehaving for the last 50 years. We want to be friends. Let's reset our relationships. We're going to treat you with respect. Imagine that. We treated other nations with respect. But that requires humbling ourselves to do it. Or humbling. And America's ruling class won't humble themselves. They're arrogant.

And it eliminates the leverage that Israel had in the Middle East, which is to, they've been working the Arab world saying, you need Israel because we're willing to put Iran out of business. You can't trust Iran. They want to take you over.

That's what Israel's been telling them, telling the other Arab countries. If you let Iran get stronger, they're going to take over your country. Let us clobber them. That's what they say, isn't it? But the Saudis aren't buying it anymore. Secretly, the Saudis met with the Iranians and said, why are we letting the Zionists pit us against each other? Let's be friends. It has completely caught the West by surprise, and it caught Israel by surprise.

They don't know what to make of it, and it has messed up Netanyahu's agenda. And one other thing that the Saudis have done, too, is they've taken the West narrative. So what happens when NATO and the U.S., they blow up something, right? What's the first thing they want to do after they blow it up? Rebuild it. Rebuild it. And Saudis said to Iran, hey, we're going to help you rebuild your infrastructure.

I'll let you mention that. Wait until you see this next article from Reuters. Look at this. This is today. Saudi Arabia could invest in Iran very quickly. Yes. Like soon Saudi money will be pouring into Iran to rebuild the country. And Iran's been suffering from the U.S.-Israeli sanctions.

Right. And so Saudi Arabia is going to just tell the United States, go fuck height. We're going to go in and help Iran. And what are you going to do about it, USA? So let's look at what this Reuters article says. So Saudi Arabia's finance minister, Mohammed al-Jaddan, said on Wednesday that Saudi investments into Iran could happen very quickly following an agreement to restore diplomatic ties. He said there are a lot of opportunities for Saudi investments in Iran. We don't see impediments as long as the terms of any agreement could be respected.

He spoke this at the financial sector conference going on right now in Riyadh. Stability in the region is very important for the world and for the countries in the region. And we have always said that Iran is our neighbor and we have no interest to have a conflict with our neighbors if they're willing to cooperate. He said in an interview with Reuters, we have no reason not to invest in Iran and we have no reason not to allow them

to invest in Saudi Arabia. It is in our interest to make sure that both nations benefit from each other's resources and competitive advantage. Now, this, like Rick said, this is mind-blowing for this to even have occurred this week. It opens a whole new area of global diplomacy that's happening right now. Try to imagine the strategy meetings that are being held inside the Israeli Mossad right now. How do we stop this? How do we disrupt it? What do we do to prevent Iran and Saudi Arabia from becoming friends? What are they going to do? Are they going to have a false flag event and try to blame one or the other

it's not going to work the old tricks aren't going to work right now but you know that in in israel the israeli intelligence agencies in the idf and netanyahu are perplexed how are we going to break up this new alliance well you know i think the Saudis have just come, they're just coming into things with a whole new confidence now. The Saudis now, you notice an attitude change in the Saudis in the past year? They're thinking to themselves, why can't we be a global leader? We've been taking a back seat to the United States and the West for all this time.

We have more money than you. We have all the oil. So what are you going to do about it? But when we look at the futuristic cities that they're building, I'm standing in amazement of the Saudis. I mean, I am astounded at the futuristic cities that they're building. And that recent one, which the cube in the center of Riyadh.

What they're projecting to be on the inside of the thing looks like the Tower of Babel. Right. But when you see the promotional videos, it's like this is a sci-fi world. And they're also looking at building yet another, a third city off the Saudi coast. This is the new one that's coming out. So Saudi Arabia goes in the business of building futuristic cities? Yes. They make a deal with Iran. Let us build a futuristic city in Iran.

Yes. The Middle East could become the hub of the new New World Order very quickly. But I think, Doc, the reason the Saudis are walking taller right now, walking with more confidence, is I think they secretly have an agreement in place with Beijing.

What happens to the United States and Israel on the day that China announces it will provide military protection to Saudi Arabia and Iran? And so now another way that the Saudis have influenced things that are going on in the world right now, besides in the areas of diplomacy, have been in the area of finance. Now, of course, the big news today has been what's happening with Credit Suisse. You've seen the story.

Credit Suisse shares tank. Why did they tank? They tanked after Saudi backer rules out further assistance. This is a big story because Credit Suisse dropped about 30% in markets in Europe, and that impacted markets here because at one point during the day, the Dow was down nearly 700 points at one point. But what's going on here? Well, Credit Suisse was counting on Saudi money to help them kind of prop things up to get through this current crisis. But the Saudi, and this is really interesting because this is happening at the Riyadh Financial Conference. The CEO of Credit Suisse spoke earlier in the day,

and then later on in an interview with Bloomberg, the Saudi National Bank chairman made the announcement, Credit Suisse is not getting any more money from Saudi Arabia. While the conference was taking place. While the conference is going on. And while the CEO of Credit Suisse was there. Yes. And was one of the speakers. Yes.

So we have that cut from Bloomberg Television here with the Saudi minister talking about no more money coming to Credit Suisse. The answer is absolutely not for many reasons outside the simplest reason, which is regulatory and statutory. We now own 9.8% of the bank. If we go above 10%, all kinds of new rules kick in, whether it be by our regulator or the European regulator or the Swiss regulator, and we're not inclined to get into a new regulatory regime. So after he spoke those words, things started happening in markets in Europe. This is from the London Times. Credit Suisse shares fall by 30 percent in European banking sell-off. Rising fears about the financial health of Credit Suisse fueled another route

in European banking shares amid worries that the Zurich-based lender will be the next group to be caught by the contagion from the Silicon Valley bank's collapse. Investors sent Credit Suisse shares down by 30 percent to a new record low after the chairman of the Saudi National Bank, which is the Swiss lender's biggest shareholder, Rick, said it could not provide more financial support to the group. We cannot because we could go above 10 percent. Amar al-Qadari said, it's a regulatory issue. I think it's an excuse by the Saudis. But this rattled investors' already fragile confidence in what is Switzerland's second biggest bank, which also has a major presence in the UK. The cost of insuring Credit Suisse's bonds against default also hit a record high. Now, that announcement and the shares dropping caused shares to plunge

as this bank storm spreads to Europe. This is from the Wall Street Journal. Credit Suisse Group AG shares fell by more than 25 percent Wednesday and hit a fresh record low, reflecting increasing concerns that troubles that hit regional U.S. banks have migrated across the Atlantic. And of course, that article came out earlier this morning. Right. And the shares actually continue to drop. So it reached a 30 percent level, Doc, but other European banks were down too. Societe Generale in Paris. BNP was down to a bank in Germany. Yeah, Deutsche Bank was down 8%.

The drop in Credit Suisse bonds and shares indicates that investor judge that this bank needs to be rescued, said Jus Beaumont, head of bank research at Dutch lender ABN Amro. If regulators do not handle the Credit Suisse situation well, this will send shockwaves through the whole sector, he said. And to make matters worse, both sides of the Atlantic have banking issues. Think about what happened yesterday with Moody's, the ratings firm. Downgraded the entire U.S. banking system.

Yes. They didn't downgrade just a couple banks, but the entire U.S. banking sector went from stable to risky. If you're not stable, that means you're unstable. And they cited rapidly deteriorating conditions in the American economy. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this in my lifetime. I mean, this has all the markings of the Great Depression and banks being closed suddenly, a bank holiday, a national where the government orders all banks to close. When you see a ratings company downgrading the entire banking industry, everybody should be concerned. And quite frankly, I don't know what any of us can do at this point. We're all in the system. Yes. I mean, I've had people asking me for days, what do I do? I take my money out of the bank? What are you going to do with the money right now?

And which bank are you going to put it in? Yes, because here's where I think they're going. I think these snakes that run the system in this country, they plan to eliminate paper money this year. Yes, and roll out the CDBCs. They need this banking crisis to roll out the central bank digital dollar. In fact, we'll get to a point where people will be begging for it. Yes. And that's where they want us to be. In the meantime- And there has to be resistance. I'm telling you, folks, we have got to resist this Federal Reserve digital coin. You've got to

resist it. I'm not anti-cryptocurrency. I think most of you know that. I'm an enthusiastic supporter of crypto, but not a digital coin from the Federal Reserve because their plan is to get rid of all cryptocurrency, and you'll have one crypto coin, one, theirs. That's right. And it will be programmable, meaning they can turn it on and off at their will. And when they want to punish you,

they can either completely devalue the money in your account or they could just tax you. They just tap you. Oh, your coins devalued 10% because of that post that you put on social media. Retract the statement and we'll restore the value of your coins. Maybe. Do you see the psychological war that they could wage on us if they get control?

Their plan is to have no banks at all. Just one bank. One bank, the Federal Reserve. Why do you need banks if there's only one digital coin? You don't need banks. Are you going to go down to the bank and deposit your imaginary coins? Are you going to withdraw your imaginary coins? What do you need a bank for?

Let me ask you a question. When's the last time you went into a bank? I can't remember. I would have to say for me it's been at least two years. What do you need a bank for? Because the last mortgage I did,

I didn't go to a bank to do that. I did everything online. I did too. So. I did too. But that just shows you how rapidly things are, you know, transforming in that particular sector. The only reason I used to go,

I mean, it was if I had to wire money internationally, and now they finally, they're at the place where you can do that online also. I just don't go to the bank. Well, why would I have to go there? There's no reason. But once they eliminate cash, there's no reason for the bank. And then the bank. Right.

And then the banksters finally achieve what they started in 1913. Total control. That's what this is all about. Total control. They only dreamed of it in 1913. They could just dream of it. It's finally here. It must be resisted. It must, if you submit to this one, it's completely over. It's slavery forever at this point. Once they have complete

control of the financial system, it is slavery and you have to resist because from there it's going to be a rapid descent into darkness they have control of everything they'll know everything you did a hundred years from now they'll be able to tell somebody what you did on a particular day and they'll have not only your records of all your transactions your your travels, everything that you did with your money, they have the ability to program it, take it away from you, devalue it, restrict. They could restrict it. They could geofence you.

You could have your money. But only spend it within a certain area. Like a 15-minute city. Wow. They could do that. Yes, they could geofence it. You could cross the line and you try to buy something and you're told,

well, this digital coin doesn't work here. Right. And you're like, I'm in my home state. It doesn't work here. You're geofenced. I hadn't even thought about that. How are you going to go to Washington and protest?

Go ahead. They're going to laugh at you. You won't even be able to get out of your parking lot. They're going to geofence your money. I'm telling you, Doc, this has to be stopped. Biden and the Federal Reserve are planning to roll out a digital coin this year. They need a banking crisis. And they've got one ready made here.

And we just witnessed one of the biggest bank heists in the history of the world in the past few days. Who knows? Billions of dollars. Billions. Hundreds. Billions of dollars were wired to Tel Aviv, Israel. Yeah, 42 billion just in 24 hours on Thursday of last week. That's not counting.

The biggest bank heist by banksters in the history of mankind. And they got away with it. And to my knowledge, I think True News is the only entity on the planet that has told the world that the purpose of the bank bailout that just took place... Of Silicon Valley Bank. And Signature Bank. The entire purpose of that bailout was for the benefit of Tel Aviv, Israel. Yes. Tens of billions of dollars were taken to Israel. Hundreds of... And we paid for it. Hundreds of Israeli companies had accounts at Silicon Valley Bank alone.

Hundreds. Half of all the companies in Israel had ties to Silicon Valley Bank. Half. And nobody's talking about it. It really was the shekel shuffle. And they're still dancing. They're still dancing in Israel.

They got the money. They pulled it off. They did the heist and they got it. And what's even crazier is nobody in America even knows that they did it. Nobody's talking about it. They're talking about new regulations and mismanagement and everything else. No, this wasn't mismanaged. This was a bank robbery.

I want to drop down to number 62. I'm going to go fast through some of these. This is Financial Times. Credit Suisse appeals to the Swiss Central Bank for a show of support. News late in the day today, Rick, that the Swiss National Bank is going to step up

and guarantee on Credit Suisse. So it's another bailout. It is. Well, I mean, for Switzerland, their banking industry is in trouble. Right. And their banking industry was strong until Barack Hussein Obama.

What has Obama got to do with the Swiss banking industry? Because he launched an attack on offshore banking. He busted up the Americans putting their money in Swiss banks. You had privacy there. And they hate privacy. Because in the Swiss banks, your name is not on the bank account. You're given a number, and that number is assigned to your money, but nobody in the bank knows who you are. And that just drove Obama and his socialist globalists drove them crazy, and they launched attacks on the Swiss banking sector. And Credit Suisse and UBS, others, were weakened, Doc.

They were severely weakened by U.S. attacks, by the IRS, by prosecution of the United States government against the banks, and they've been weakened ever since. It was a deliberate attack to bring down the Swiss banking system. So I'm telling you that because that's why the Swiss Central Bank knows if Credit Suisse goes under, the Swiss banking system goes under. Amazing times that we're living in right now. Noriel Rubini says that the Credit Suisse crisis could become a Lehman Brothers moment. Here's his comments on Bloomberg TV.

Noriel, I'd love your take on this. There might be some people waking up this morning looking at what's happening with Credit Suisse perhaps based here in the United States and thinking what does this mean for me why is this important could you explain to those people Nouriel just how important Credit Suisse might be to the financial system well it's important because SVP was only about 150 billion dollars of assets while in the case of Credit Suisse, we're speaking about at least $700 billion. So anything will happen to Credit Suisse will be of systemic effect for not just the European financial system, but effect in the global financial market, something bad happening to Credit Suisse will be an order of magnitude more severe, something more like a Lehman moment. You heard it. He knows what he's talking about.

Yeah. Larry Fink also from BlackRock is warning of a slow rolling crisis through the global financial system. Kind of like a glacier. Yeah, it's moving slow, but if you're in its way, you're going under. Right. And it destroys everything in its path. Yeah, so he said, this is number 69, we don't know yet whether the consequences

of easy money and regulatory changes will cascade throughout the U.S. regional banking sector akin to the S&L crisis with more seizures and shutdowns coming. Well, for those of us my age and older, we remember the savings and loan debacle. And there were thousands of banks not banks savings and loans they don't even exist anymore SNLs they were wiped out completely wiped out thousands where's the last SNL you visited I can't recall it's not have them anymore got it been at least a decade or two now they They're gone. ABC News, Silicon Valley Bank, how a digital bank run accelerated the collapse.

What they're saying in this, Doc, is that Twitter was responsible for the bank run. And we're going to have to do something about social media, especially Elon Musk. We're going to have to do something about Twitter.

We mentioned about the Moody decision yesterday. So number 74, Bloomberg, First Republic Bank, cut to junk by S&P today. Fitch amid bank turmoil. So that's worthless. First Republican, I mean, that's worthless. Would you buy a stock that's classified as junk? Would you have a deposit?

In a bank that's rated as junk? I guess there are people who do. I don't know why they would be doing it, but Federalist reporting, Silicon Valley Bank gave $74 million to Black Lives Matter and related causes. So they were able to come up with $74 million to support basically terrorist and anarchist activities in the US. Now we know where all that money was coming from,

for all the buses that were hauling people around and all these different mob events. And Barney Frank was on the board of directors, right? So these woke banks that are now broke were funding communist activities in this country. country. But they don't care because they were told, if you go under, you'll get bailed out. Don't worry about it. Just move the money. Just like Bankman Freed. The biggest scandal in the FTX debacle. The biggest scandal is that Bankman Freed stole tens of billions of dollars

and money laundered the stolen money to the Democrats and that the 2022 election campaign was financed with stolen money. That's the real story in FTX. Schumer, Pelosi, the whole gang, they knew that they were running their campaigns with stolen money. The money came from the people who had accounts at FTX. They got robbed. But Jesus said to his church, your assignment is to go into all the world and preach the gospel and to make disciples of all men and women and to baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. That's the assignment. He's never withdrawn the assignment. It's still active today.

Today, we will study the last parable in Matthew 13. It is the parable of the householder. Now, many people do not think it is a parable. They think it's the way Jesus wrapped up and ended his teaching in the parable. However, when you study the two verses, you discover that it is indeed another parable. Dr. Raymond Burkhardt is here to read from the 13th chapter of the

gospel of Jesus Christ according to St. Matthew verses 51 and 52. He will read first from the authorized King James Version and then from the modern English Version. Thanks Rick. So if you've got your Bibles open it up to Matthew chapter 13. This is from the King James. First of all, Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old. Now, slightly different reading from the modern English version. heaven is like a man who is a master of the household who brings out of his treasure new and old things. I'm actually pretty excited to talk about this parable of the householder, Rick,

because we've been kind of working on it for a few days. And I don't know how many times I've read this passage of scripture. And yet this time it just like exploded with information that we were gathering. And so I think a lot of, I think a lot of people read these verses and they, they just see it as Jesus wrapping up his parabolic teaching, right? They don't see that there's a parable inside this, absolutely this saying, but this is another one of those. It's like a jigsaw puzzle. I mean, you really have to think it through to get the full meaning of it. It's only two verses, but there's a lot in it. And so we're going to walk through it line by line, almost word for word. First, Jesus asked the disciples, hey guys, do you understand all this stuff?

He's been teaching them for quite some time here. Go back to the beginning of Matthew 13. It started out with Jesus by the seashore. Teaching the crowd. Getting on the boat, teaching the crowd. He does the parable of the sower. First of all, the disciples ask him, why do you teach in parables? He explains why. And then he also gives an explanation of the parable of the sower. Then the parable of the tares. Right. And then he does the parable of the hidden treasure. No, the mustard seed. The mustard seed.

And the yeast. And the yeast. So he does all those outside to the crowd. And then he comes into the house and then gives the explanation for the parable of the tares. Yes. And then has the pearl of great, I mean, the hidden treasure. And the pearl of great price, which we've talked about. Then the parable of the net.

That we've talked about on yesterday's program. And so then we get to this part. And he says, hey, guys, have you been following along? Are you with me? Do you understand everything that I've taught you? And of course, the disciples being guys, being men, they said, sure. We got it.

We got it. We got it. We got it nailed down. Yeah. And they weren't speaking necessarily untruthfully there. They understood a lot more than they used to understand. According to their ability at that time, they understood. But it was a very superficial, surface-level understanding. And notice that Jesus didn't correct them in that.

Didn't say, you guys don't know squat. You know, he didn't say anything like that. But instead, went into the parable of the householder and basically affirmed that this, you know, you are on the right track, all right? Therefore, you're like a scribe. And that's where we start off with the parable of the household. Okay. So they said, yes, Lord. And then he said to them, therefore, every scribe who is discipled for the kingdom of heaven, let's stop right there right every scribe who is discipled for the kingdom of heaven

what's a scribe well a scribe is someone who understands the meaning and messages of written words especially when we're talking about scriptures jesus had encounters with scribes throughout the gospels usually in negative, but he didn't necessarily, they were the ones that were challenging Jesus's interpretation of the scriptures. Where did scribes originally appear in the Old Testament? If you look in the book of Ezra, that was when you first started hearing and seeing the use of scribes. There were people that were writing about interpretation of the scriptures and then they would pass that information along down to other teachers of the scriptures. And basically, you know, a running knowledge of an understanding of the Word of God.

Nowadays, we take it for granted. I can go into my office and pull a concordance off the shelf or a commentary or even use software in order to come up with hundreds of commentaries on any particular scripture. But in the Old Testament days, you didn't have access to that. What you had access to was an oral tradition of handing down information. And the scribes were, it started out very,

in a very good thing to make sure that the word of God was, if you will, protected and was transmitted to generations. But by the time it got to Jesus's day, some of the scribes, not all of them, were using that along with the Pharisees to use the scriptures to their own advantage. It had been the writings of the scribes eventually became corrupted and it eventually morphed into the Talmud and other documents were. And that's what Jesus was condemning. That aspect of it. The own personal commentary of the scripture.

But in the beginning, in the days of Ezra, the scribes basically were the first Bible commentators. You've got it. That's probably a good way to understand it. And they were sincerely trying to help the people understand the Word of God and the laws of God and the kingdom at that time. And so they would write for the benefit of the people, for the rabbis to teach the people. And so Jesus is comparing, he's comparing the disciples of the new covenant age to the old covenant scribes. That's right.

To the ones who are carrying the scripture, if you will. But a scribe may not necessarily be a disciple, Rick, as we're seeing here, because it says that every scribe who is discipled, it could be you're a scribe, but you're not discipled. So there's a there's a difference between having knowledge of the word and having the practical application of the word and being a disciple. So it's kind of a one-two understanding on that. There's a lot of people who know the scriptures. Well, they're discipled for the kingdom of heaven. Right. That's the key.

They're not discipled for their denomination. Yes. They're not discipled for the Assemblies of God or the Southern Baptist Convention. And these are all wonderful organizations, but they're discipled for the kingdom of heaven. And there should be in each denomination, there should be scribes who are discipled for the kingdom of heaven.

So in this transaction between Jesus and his disciples, he asks the question, do you understand all these things? Yes, Lord. He says, therefore, you guys are like scribes discipled for the kingdom of heaven. So at this point, he has imparted authority to them. Yes. He's deputizing them. He's delegating to them. That's a good term.

He's saying from this point forward, I'm recognizing you as a duly appointed scribe of the kingdom of heaven. One who's being discipled for the kingdom of heaven, yes. And you are going to replace the scribes of old times. Right. And he then goes on to say, all right, since you are going to replace the scribes of old times. Right. And he then goes on to say, all right, since you are a scribe

who is being discipled for the kingdom of heaven, that is like something. So he's making that parabolic connection there. So what is he like? It's like a man who is the master of the household who brings out of his treasure new and old things. All right, so what does that mean? How is it like a householder who brings out of his treasure new and old things?

All right, so master of the household, a householder. A householder is, in old times, was, you know, it's the landowner, the man in charge, the person that owns the farm, owns the land, owns the house, owns the cattle, owns the trees. It's his property. Right.

He's the householder. There's no question, no doubt about who owns the trees. It's his property. He's the householder. There's no question, no doubt about who owns the property. And he says that every scribe who's discipled for the kingdom of heaven is like that person, a master of the house, a householder. Yet in the scriptures, Jesus compared himself. He identified himself as the householder. Right. In one of the other parables. Right in chapter 13, in the parable of the tares,

Jesus identifies himself as the householder in there. So he's the master householder. That's right. So he's telling his disciples, I'm appointing you as junior householders. Yes. Isn't that really what it is? With all the authority, really, of the householder.

And so he's saying, you're going to be like a carbon copy of me. That's really what he's saying. You're going to be like me. So if we're to apply our parable keys, as we have been all throughout chapter 13 here, now we take that concept of the householder in the parable of the tares, we bring it here. Jesus was the householder in the parable of the tares. Jesus is the householder here in the parable of the householder. And what was the householder doing in the parable of the tares? He was managing the household, but he was also making decisions

as it relates toward the judgment that was going to be upon the tares at the end of the age. He was saying to his servants that, hey, you can't pull up tares because you'll destroy the wheat. Let's wait till the end of the harvest and then the tares will be'll destroy the wheat. Let's wait till the end of the harvest,

and then the tares will be bundled up and burned. So obviously that's Jesus, and he identifies himself in the interpretation. But now in this parable, as he wraps up the parabolic teachings in Matthew 13, he's telling his disciples, I'm appointing you to represent me as junior householders. If you're applying your understanding of the parables, being a scribe who's being discipled for the kingdom of heaven, which is what I understand Jesus is trying to say in, then you are like me. You have my authority. You are going to be acting on my authority. You're going to be

doing the things that I do. Okay. So he is a man who is master of his household, a householder, who brings out of his treasure, brings out of his treasure, the treasure. Let's start with the treasure. Well, we were's start with the treasure. Well, we were just talking about a treasure a couple days ago, weren't we? A hidden treasure. A treasure that was hidden in a field. In the parable of the hidden treasure. And we concluded it's the church.

Yes. It's the souls that are being saved for the kingdom. All right. So if we're to use our parable keys for us, once again, if that's what that means in the parable of the hidden treasure, and we bring that over here to the parable of the householder. So it's like a man who is master of the household, who brings out of his treasure, the church, the body of Christ, true Israel in the old covenant, the true church in the new covenant. But then it goes on to stipulate

something. I got a thought here, Doc. Okay. Okay. Because this is happening in real time right now. Okay. On camera. Okay. So, we know that Jesus is the householder. Right. And we concluded from the other parables

that the treasure is the souls, the body of Christ that he purchased. Yes. With his blood. That we're the treasure. Right. Okay. He said in, you find it in Mark,

that the parable of the sower is the master key to understanding all the parables. So that was the first parable, the parable of the sower. We're now at the last parable in Matthew 13. If in the parable of the tares,

the householder is Jesus, and he's the one who of the tares, the householder is Jesus, right? And he's the one who sowed good seed in the field. The field is where the treasure was found in the other parables. We go back to the parable of the sower, the very first one. What we taught weeks ago was that the seed is the word of God, but that which is sown are the people who believe the word of God. Some are sown, they've all heard the word of God. Right. And they're sown into the field.

Right. And they're sown into the field. Right. The condition of their hearts determines the harvest. All right. So some of these have hindrances in them. They have stones. They have thorns. They have cares. Or birds that picked them off.

Birds are picking up the seed. But Jesus is the householder who's sowing. Yes. I mean, really, it carries through all the way through. He's the householder who's sowing. We concluded that the people who have heard the word of God are sown by him. He's the sower. He's the householder. It's his land. The one who owns the land is the one who's doing the sowing. And those who are being sown are those who hear the word.

So what we have here is the householder is the sower. He's sowing those who have heard the word of the kingdom. They are the treasure. Yes. They are the treasure. Okay.

They've been sown. Now we get back to he brings out of. His treasure. Of his treasure. We're the treasure. Right. out of his treasure. We're the treasure. He brings out of his treasure things new and old. And what's interesting about that too, Rick,

that particular passage here, the word things is not in the Greek there. They've added the word things. Really, it should read, who brings out of his new and old treasure. The word things doesn't exist. If you get down to the Greek text and everything, the word things isn't there. They've added that in, or teachers have added that in to try to make more sense out of it. What about the verse I'm using,

the modern English version, the unauthorized modern English version. So it says brings out. The King James says... Bringeth forth. Bringeth forth. The Greek words imply, once again, it's cast out.

Like seed, Doc. Like seed. Do you get it? Out of the treasure he's sowing. He's casting out. You broadcast seed. You broadcast a seed. Yes.

You have a seed caster. All right? You're out there with a seed caster. It's spreading the seed. He brings, he casts out the seed out of his treasure. We're the treasure that carries the seed. We're the treasure that carries the word.

And we're being cast out. We're being cast out. We're being cast out. And with us are things, I'll say things, new and old. That does not mean you got some old worn out things and some brand new shiny things. It means something that is both new and old at the same time. Right. They're not separate. They're both old and new. They have those qualities.

Let's give some examples. A plant. The root is old. The flower and the fruit is new. Yes. It's the same plant. The root has been there a long time. The flower and the fruit is new.

It's something new and old. Think of a loaf of bread that's 1,000 years old. Doc, if I brought out, if this book was a loaf of bread that's 1,000 years old. Doc, if I brought out, if this book was a loaf of bread and I said, Doc, this book is 1,000 years old and you take it and break it apart and steam comes out of it and it's fresh and moist, how could that be? How could it be 1,000 years old and taste like I baked it a few minutes ago? Well, I'll give you another example. HOW COULD THAT BE? HOW COULD IT BE A THOUSAND YEARS OLD AND TASTE LIKE I BAKED IT A FEW MINUTES AGO? WELL, I'LL GIVE YOU ANOTHER EXAMPLE. I WAS VISITING FAMILY OUT IN SAN FRANCISCO.

THERE'S THIS BAKERY THAT SPECIALIZES, OF COURSE, SAN FRANCISCO SPECIALIZES IN SAURADOOR. SAURADOOR, OKAY. SO THEY HAD SOME STARTER THERE. THEY HAD SOME STARTER THERE THAT WAS THERE WHEN THE EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED BACK IN THE EARLY 20TH CENTURY. THE BREAD WAS STILL BEING MADE They had some starter there that was there when the earthquake occurred back in the early 20th century. Bread was still being made from that original starter to this day.

And so in one way, I'm eating bread that was 120 years old, but it's freshly baked. Its starter was, you know, the seed, if you will. For the bread I was eating 120 years later. I mean, that's a very practical, real-world application. It's like a parable showing that something can be old and new at the same time. So what do you think his application is here, Rick, for the old and new treasure, the treasure that's both old and new? Old principles that still have value, eternal values. Old principles with eternal values that are taught in new ways, new applications. The Word of God doesn't change.

Jesus said, this thing's not going away as long as the earth is here. It is going to go away when the earth burns up. Right. But the law remains. The law remains until,

as long as the earth is here. Eternal principles, old principles from ancient times that are still valid today, but we teach them freshly. We apply them freshly. We teach them in a way that the people today can understand. If Jesus were here today in the flesh teaching us parables,

he would be using different objects. He would be picking up an iPod and say, you know, the kingdom of heaven is like an iPad. An iPad. He would use something that we're using right now. So, but things old and new, something that is ancient yet fresh. And it comes from, it can only come from knowledge of the word of God. And this is what a scribe is. He's saying to the disciples, and everybody who follows Jesus Christ is a disciple.

If you follow him, just getting in and getting saved doesn't make you a disciple. Right. You have to apply yourself to be a disciple. You have to pursue him to be discipled. But you're discipled in the word of God. You're discipled in the kingdom of heaven.

And all the parables are about understanding the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom of heaven is for this age between the first advent and the second advent. This is the kingdom of heaven. And he's saying to us, I'm teaching you to understand the kingdom of heaven that you're going to be living in. And these parables are showing you that the kingdom is going to exist in a rotten world. And yet be triumphant at the same time.

It's going to be triumphant at the end, and yet throughout the ages, it's going to look like it's being infiltrated and contaminated. And yet continue to grow. It will continue to grow, but at the end, it is triumphant. That's what the parables are teaching us, that the sowing of the seed is taking place That this sowing of the seed is taking place.

This sowing of tares is taking place. The mustard seed, the tree that, you know, it's not supposed to be a tree. It's supposed to be a bush, but it becomes a tree. And all these parables are teaching us about the kingdom. It's a real world application of the teachings of God. Yes. the kingdom. It's a real world application of the teachings of God telling us, listen, in this world, you will have tribulation, Jesus says later on in Matthew. And he's just being very practical about it. If you think that this is a Pollyanna spiritual journey, you need to wake

up. On Christian TV, you don't have tribulation. No, you don't. But in this world, you do. Right. Because I've heard a lot of preachers over my lifetime as a Christian who promised no tribulation, no trouble, no suffering. And it wasn't biblical. It wasn't scriptural. Jesus is telling his disciples, I'm teaching you how you're going to live in this world until I come back. And these are the things that are going to happen. This is how the kingdom is going to grow. And there are going to be times that you're going to think that the enemy is winning,

that the church has been overtaken, that it's been defiled. But it's only that the tares have been planted. It's only that the foul birds are roosting in the branches. Well, this is an encouragement for us in our Daniel 11 project, isn't it? Yes. So we'll go back to Daniel 11. We're building a network of churches for Daniel 11, Daniel 11 micro churches. I want to put up on the screen really quick. Daniel 11 verses 32, 35. And as such as you wickedly against the covenant

shall he pervert by flatteries, but the people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. And I think this is the key that you're wanting to really point out, Rick. And they that are wise among the people shall instruct many. Those are the scribes in the last days.

Daniel's talking about the last days right there. Those are the scribes in the last days. Daniel's talking about the last days. Right there, those are the scribes that shall bring forth things old and new. They shall instruct many. And if we're a disciple of Christ, we are those scribes that are wise and that will instruct many. And then let's look at verse 3 in Daniel 12. So in Daniel chapter 12, verse 3, it says, And they that be wise, which should be you and me, and the disciples of Christ,

shall shine as the brightness of the firmament. And they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever. Those are the scribes that Jesus is talking about in this parable in the last days. They will bring forth things new and old. They're wise.

They're disciples. They're scribes. They turn people to righteousness. They turn people to righteousness. That's who the Lord's blessing in these last days. Don't you want to be one of those people? I know you do. This is an exciting time to be alive.
