Starting point is 00:01:00 warned in a russian interview that president--elect Donald Trump is at risk of assassination attempts by American deep state actors if he tries to end the Ukraine war. This is true news for Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Let's begin our analysis and commentary of today's top news by looking at this Turkish news headline, NATO chief calls for wartime readiness, warns of Russian escalation. And so, Doc, once again, we're being told war means peace. Yes. If you want peace, get ready for war. Yeah. That's the message that Mark Rutte delivered. Yes. So ATO military chiefs convened for the first time in their first meeting under Secretary General Mark Rutte's leadership Wednesday, focusing on global security challenges and strengthening the NATO alliance's defensive capabilities. Now, this meeting, attended by Turkey's Chief of General Staff Metin Garak,
Starting point is 00:02:09 is part of NATO's regular schedule of three annual gatherings, with two held in Brussels and one in an allied nation. This is the one in Turkey. In his opening remarks, Rute painted a stark picture of the current security landscape, highlighting Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine and escalating hostile actions against NATO countries. He called for increased defense spending, as we heard yesterday from him as well, and enhanced capabilities, emphasizing the urgent need to adopt what he called a wartime mindset. He said, let me repeat, it is time to move to a wartime mindset. He said, let me repeat, it is time to move to a wartime mindset. To prevent war, you first need to prepare for it.
Starting point is 00:02:50 That means we need to strengthen our defense even further by spending more on defense, producing more and better capabilities. And so we are getting the news speak from the head of NATO now, saying that if we want peace, we better have war. Prepare for war. So what are the people in the Kremlin hearing? NATO plans to invade Russia. Right.
Starting point is 00:03:16 And so what will the Russians do? Prepare for war. That's right. And then NATO says, look, we told you. Yeah, look at them. Look at them. They're getting ready for war. We better prepare more. We need more says, look, we told you. Yeah, look at them. Look at them. They're getting ready for war. We better prepare more.
Starting point is 00:03:25 We need more money, more tanks, more missiles. And this just continues. And then it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Right. And you know why? We're in the war cycle. Yes. And this war is coming, I believe.
Starting point is 00:03:39 It's not, when I say it's coming, we're already in the war. What's coming is the grand finale yes and i i think the grand finale i think we have another you know maybe five years six seven years until we get to the grand finale sometime around 2030 2032 33 somewhere in area, we're going to have the grand finale of World War III. There is a challenge in place for the head of NATO in that Europe has not been in a wartime mindset for a long, long time. Not since World War II. They've had a laissez-faire attitude toward their own defense, relying on the United States and
Starting point is 00:04:23 the UK to provide the shield for them. They're not prepared for a war with Russia. No, they're not. Honestly, they're not. No, they're not. Doc, since 1945, the United States has been their shield. Yes. They've just sat back and just said, America will take care of us.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Right. And now you have Donald Trump coming into the White House, and he's not so sure about that. Yes. And again, I'm not going to rule out the possibility that Donald Trump cuts a deal with Russia. He says, hey, I'm here for America's defense. This is America first. And I'm going to eliminate our biggest threat. We're told that a war with Russia is imminent.
Starting point is 00:05:07 Okay, I just made a peace treaty with Russia. We're not going to have a war with Russia. Oh, by the way, we don't need NATO. Yes. So Europe, if you want to have war with Russia, go ahead and do it. If not, sign a peace treaty with them. Suddenly, NATO is out of business. The only excuse to continue NATO is to shift to make China the enemy, which they attempted to do during the first Trump administration under Pompeo.
Starting point is 00:05:36 But then you'd have to invite Russia into that alliance. That's right. And I think that's what Donald Trump wants to do. I think he wants to make, by the way, there are Russian leaders talking about when Mr. Trump gets in the White House, let's make a deal with him about Greenland. Right. We can share Greenland. Doc, don't rule this out. Hey, I'm open to anything. Can you imagine a joint Russian-U.S. military base in Greenland and the Arctic? I can see it coming. Yeah. It completely
Starting point is 00:06:15 reorders the world, but it sets it up for the showdown between the United States and China. Yes. Let's go on. NBC News. Just to remind you world war three is underway russian missile attack forces ukraine to shut down the power grid that's as in the entire power grid yes nationwide ukraine went dark today they had to shut down the entire power grid because Russia hit their energy infrastructure so hard last night that they couldn't generate power to the nation. And the entire grid went down. And what is the date, Rick? January 15th.
Starting point is 00:07:01 It's very cold. Oh, yes. I see where you're going. You better believe it. And this might give a lot of pause to those warmongers that are still beating the drums ready to fight. Russia, I don't know why Russia holds back other than they don't want to see a lot of Russians dead. But at any time, Russia could obliterate Ukraine. Just
Starting point is 00:07:23 obliterate.. Just obliterate. Yes. By their... But they've avoided killing civilians. Yes. They really have. They've killed a lot of soldiers, unfortunately. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian young men have died. And some old men. Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:39 And now some young men. They're going to go down to 18 now to recruit. Likewise, Ukraine has been attacking Russia's Internet. It appears to me that there have been two attacks. This one was published yesterday. Internet users in Russia report widespread service outages. Then I found another one from January 8. Last week, yes. Russian Internet provider confirms its network was destroyed following attack claimed by
Starting point is 00:08:12 Ukrainian hackers. Now, that one, Doc, I think that's a separate attack. Yes. All right. So you've had two Ukrainian attacks on the Russian Internet. And the previous one last week, Russian Internet provider Nodex reported last Tuesday that its network had been ruined in a cyber attack, which it suspects originated from Ukraine. In other words, the company that provides Internet service for the city of St. Petersburg, their service capability was destroyed. Yes. Completely destroyed.
Starting point is 00:08:50 The servers, everything. Everything was wiped out. Now, I find it hard to believe that it was the Ukrainians alone that perpetrated these attacks, that they had to have some assistance from the West. Hey, remember back in 2016, Hillary Clinton said that if we had a cyber attack from Russia, we could respond with nuclear weapons, right? Well, let me update you, Doc. Marco Rubio yesterday said a cyber attack is an act of war. Well, really?
Starting point is 00:09:24 So he's in the Hillary boat. Yes. So he will be Secretary of State, which is what Hillary was. Right. And he said this in his Senate confirmation hearing. A cyber attack is equivalent but an act of war means we can retaliate at whatever level we feel appropriate to use another one this is euro active tv russia now this one russia plans act of terror in the air says poland's president or prime minister, Donald Tusk. Doc, this one just really.
Starting point is 00:10:08 I know. This is. Just go along with us here. We'll read it. OK. Russia's plan. Russia plans acts of terror against aircraft in Poland and elsewhere, says Polish prime minister Donald Tusk on Wednesday. He told reporters, quote, the latest information can confirm the validity of fears
Starting point is 00:10:29 that Russia was planning acts of terrorism in the air, not only against Poland, but against airlines all over the world. All I can say, and I will not go into detail, but I can confirm the validity of these fears, said Prime Minister Tusk. So he wants us to believe that right now Putin's angry and he's going to blow up commercial airliners all over the world. Right. Does that sound like Vladimir Putin? No, not at all.
Starting point is 00:11:06 I'll tell you what it sounds like. Sounds like something the Israelis would do. Oh, yeah, the Israelis would definitely blow up airliners. But it also sounds like Operation Gladio. Yes. We've got to create terror and chaos to justify a war. And I think they actually attempted to do that with these recent DHL bombings. I do too.
Starting point is 00:11:29 And they tried to say, well, Russia did that. And here's the point. Here's where I'm going with this. We're just days away from January 20th. Yes. These guys are still trying to start a hot war with Russia before January 20. And their attempts to do it have not succeeded. They've made multiple attempts in the past two weeks.
Starting point is 00:12:01 They attacked the TurkStream pipeline. They've carried out multiple attacks using Atacom missiles, Storm Shadow missiles, and nothing yet has provoked Putin to take their bait and attack a Western country. They want a Western country attack before Donald Trump gets in the White House.
Starting point is 00:12:27 They want us in a state of war. Yes, they do. They want a crisis. And I don't know if the plan is to say, well, we have to stay in power, or whether the plan is just to grin at Donald Trump and say, hey, there you go. You got a mess. Enjoy. You wanted to be president. Now you've got it. This next story, it's got a lot of parts to it. We're going to skim through it quickly. I found this in a Russian newspaper today.
Starting point is 00:12:58 There is Nikolai Petrushev. Like I said in the opening, some people call him the Darth Vader of Russian politics. He's kind of the Dick Cheney. You don't want to mess with this guy. There's not a war he doesn't like either. When he walks down the image of Nikolai Petrushev but I'm on a very serious note he is a serious player in the Russian deep state
Starting point is 00:13:34 this is not somebody to discount this is not somebody just to brush off and say so what this is this guy carries a lot of weight in the Russian defense intelligence deep state community. Okay, so when he speaks, you should listen. All right, so let's listen to some of the things he said in this interview.
Starting point is 00:14:01 So in this interview, we start off with a quote by Nikolai Petrushev first. He's saying, Biden's presidency has shown that the priorities of the White House and ordinary citizens differed significantly. It is clear that Trump's position is not shared by all U.S. elites. His views differ significantly from the plans hatched by the representatives of the Democratic Party, individual owners of industrial giants, and transnational corporations. Therefore, it is extremely important to ensure the safety of Trump and his entourage before assuming the office of the head of state as well as during his presidency. Any comment you want to make on that particular quote, Rick? Yes. And Lee, if you could put up number eight, the headline, because that goes with this quote.
Starting point is 00:14:51 This is the Express newspaper. Trump faces assassination threats over Ukraine views, says close Putin aide. Yes. That goes with this interview. Right. Now let's go back to that quote. He said, it is extremely, he said, Trump's views differ significantly from the plans hatched by the representatives of the Democratic Party, the individual owners of industrial giants and transnational corporations.
Starting point is 00:15:22 We're talking about the defense contractors right the um the big investment houses that own the defense contractors energy companies yes the companies that have uh contracts with ukraine to manage their affairs and rebuild them right so mr uh patricia said therefore it is extremely important to ensure the safety of Donald Trump and his entourage before they assume the office of the head of the state, as well as during his presidency. So you have a Russian saying we need to protect Donald Trump. That's what he just said. Yes. Think about that a minute. One of the highest officials of the Russian deep state said, we're really concerned about
Starting point is 00:16:11 Donald Trump's life and his entourage, meaning his cabinet. We're concerned. What I hear out of that, Doc, is we want to end this war. We want to make peace with America. We don't want war we don't want destruction but there are people in america who do and it's in our best interest to help keep donald trump and his cabinet alive that's what the man just said. It means that over in the Kremlin in Moscow, they're wondering when the next assassination attempt will occur. They watched from Moscow, they watched two attempts on Donald Trump last summer. Yes.
Starting point is 00:17:01 And they're saying, when's the third one? By the way, did you know that there was another person they arrested this week? No. That tried to enter the Capitol with knives and other weapons when President Trump was in the Capitol meeting with the Senate leaders? No, I didn't know about that. Yeah, this was – oh, it's way down on the radar. I haven't seen anything about it. I'm just shocked that that's not the top news on every station in the country. Well, you know what Dan Bongino has been saying for a week, maybe more.
Starting point is 00:17:36 He is very concerned. Dan Bongino was a Secret Service agent. Yes. He is very concerned about a drone attack on the inauguration. Yes. He is very concerned about a drone attack on the inauguration. Yes. And what has piqued his interest on that is this recent memo that's gone out about all these medical personnel. Yes. That have been called up out of various branches of the U.S. government. The Department of Veteran Affairs was given a request from Health and Human Services,
Starting point is 00:18:07 give us all the doctors, nurses, and first responders that you can provide for January 20th. Right. So taking all that into account, you can't dismiss what Petrushev is saying here, that they have some concerns. The Russians have concerns about what happens to Donald Trump and his cabinet. Now, in the interview that he had with KP News out of Russia, they asked him a question. He said Donald Trump has already outlined his interests in relation to Greenland, the Panama Canal, Mexico, Canada, and other countries on different continents. Why, unlike Biden, does he not talk about the future of Ukraine so often?
Starting point is 00:18:48 And Mr. Petrushev responded, for the Biden administration, Ukraine was an absolute priority. It is clear that the relationship between Trump and Biden is antagonistic. Therefore, Ukraine will not be among Donald Trump's priorities. He is more concerned about China. All right. not be among Donald Trump's priorities. He is more concerned about China. Now, this is coming from Petrushev. And this kind of fits in with some of that narrative we've been talking about. Would it be better to have
Starting point is 00:19:14 a defeated Russia as we fight China sometime in the future? Or have an armed Russia assisting us in keeping China in check? So that does make sense now. You know what I wouldn't rule out?
Starting point is 00:19:28 A visit by Donald Trump to Moscow for the Victory Day parade. I wouldn't rule it out, Buck. I would not rule out that he wouldn't go to Moscow and be in the reviewing stands with Putin to celebrate the defeat of Nazism.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Right. Again, completely turn the world upside down in the geopolitical landscape. I mean, the whole post-war narrative is ended. And he's starting a new narrative. It becomes the Trump narrative. And he resets the world. I believe Donald Trump is going to attempt to reset the world according to his vision. So let's go on and see what Mr. Petrushev said in this article.
Starting point is 00:20:28 In addition, as you said, he outlined his interests in Greenland, the Panama Canal, Mexico, and Canada. Redrawing the world map to suit his interests and interfering in the affairs of countries on different continents is an American tradition. At the same time, talk about Trump sending armed forces to conquer new states for the U.S. can hardly be called justified. Nevertheless, there's no doubt that in all these areas, the new administration will very aggressively push its own interest. He was asked another question.
Starting point is 00:20:56 Representatives of the new U.S. administration, in particular the advisers appointed by Donald Trump, admit in some of their speeches that Russia will, under no circumstances, cede to Ukraine or anyone else the territories Well, Mr. Petrushev responded, became part of Russia based on the expression of will of citizens in accordance with international law, the laws of the Russian Federation, and the legislation of these regions. As for the Russian line on Ukraine, it remains unchanged. It is important for us that the task of the special military operation be solved. They are known and have not changed. Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly named them. It is possible that in the coming year, listen to this,
Starting point is 00:21:48 Ukraine will cease to exist altogether. Yes, that's the line. There's three big lines in here in this interview. Number one, we want to make sure Donald Trump stays alive. Yes.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Second one is Ukraine may disappear this year. And there's a third one coming up here in just a moment. So Mr. Petrushev went on to say, if we talk about specific prospects for further developments, taking into account the Trump factor, we respect his statements. I believe that negotiations on Ukraine should be conducted between Russia and the United States without the participation of other Western countries. He just wiped out NATO. Right. So Petrusha is putting it out there. We'll negotiate with the United States. We don't want to negotiate with the United States. We don't want to deal with the U.K. We don't want to deal with Brussels.
Starting point is 00:22:45 He doesn't want to even deal with Ukraine. Yes. He's saying Putin and Trump will make the deal. Right. He goes on to say, we have nothing to discuss with London and Brussels. The EU leadership, for example, has long since lost the right to speak on behalf of many of its members, such as Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Romania archives, a photograph of Franklin Roosevelt, FDR, and Joseph Stalin. At Yalta? And Churchill.
Starting point is 00:23:39 It'll be easy to find. Joseph J-O-S-E-F, Stalin. All right. And look for the Yalta conference yalta conference and uh so anyhow mr patrushev is saying we're going to have negotiations but we don't want anybody there but the united states we don't want ukraine there right why would we bring in zelinski right what difference does he make yeah he's a puppet and he's his term ended last year and the reality of the situation is there we go the reality of the situation is we're you know it's the united states fighting russia it is isn't that's really what it is so there you go world war ii you see FDR. He's in his latter days near death. You can see the stress that the war had on
Starting point is 00:24:35 this man. He went through the Great Depression and World War II, four terms as president. On his left is Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of Great Britain. And on his right is Joseph Stalin, who was the dictator of the Soviet Union at that time. That's right. Now, Doc, basically, what did these three men talk about at that meeting?
Starting point is 00:25:00 Did they exchange Christmas gifts? No, they were talking about how do we beat the Nazis. But something else. They talked about something else. How they're going to divide up the world. How they're going to divide up Europe after they defeat the Nazis. Yes. They gave away countries. They abolished countries. They shuffled things around. They redished countries. They shuffled things around. They redrew the map of Europe.
Starting point is 00:25:28 They sure did. Three men. And that happened at the altar conference, which of all places is on the Crimean Peninsula. Yes. Three men redrew the map of Europe. What am I saying? That Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are going to redraw the map of Europe. I believe they're going to
Starting point is 00:25:53 redo the world order. Honestly, Doc, I believe Donald Trump has got a plan for something so big. I don't think he likes the European Union. I don't think he likes the social... Look, none of these people did him any favors. That's right. They were trash talking him right up to the election day.
Starting point is 00:26:11 And then all of a sudden, well. Yeah. So he doesn't owe them anything. It was a nothing. I think he's going to reset the world order. And I think Russia could very possibly become an ally of the United States. He eliminates a huge chunk of our defense budget. We don't have to worry about fighting Russia. Right.
Starting point is 00:26:40 We don't have to defend Europe. It was at the Alta Conference, too, where they planted the seeds for the United Nations after the war, too. That's where they decided there'd be the five permanent members of the Security Council. Russia, US, China, France, and the UK. What difference does France and UK have now? None. None, really? They really don't.
Starting point is 00:27:15 I don't mean this to demean the British people, the French people, but they're second-class nuclear powers now. Right. They're not strong nations. Yeah, UK couldn't go up against Russia. France couldn't go up against Russia. So it's interesting the comments from Mr. Petrushev. He also said in addition to Ukraine may disappear this year, which I believe is the case. They're going to divide up Ukraine and you're going to see some whole new countries out there. But in the Romania Journal, they're reporting this that Petrushev said that Moldova will cease to exist as a state because the EU no longer
Starting point is 00:27:52 has any right to represent Romania. Petrushev, in this one article, he eliminated two countries. He didn't just spout off and go, hey, I'm just going to say something really crazy here today. No, this is being discussed in the criminal. Yes. It's beyond being discussed. It's already been decided.
Starting point is 00:28:22 They've already decided. We're going to eliminate Moldova and Ukraine. The borders are going to change. I don't know who's going to get what. I have no idea. I don't know what these guys have decided. But when they sit down with Donald Trump, a big plan is going to come out. A really big plan, Doc. Bigger than what anybody's imagined. May not come out at the very beginning.
Starting point is 00:28:55 We may find out three to six months later the size and scope of what they were just talking about. But several countries are going to disappear. Yeah, we could see NATO disappear. We could see United Nations disappear. Okay, so you got Mr. Putin, I mean, excuse me, you got Mr. Trump. He's saying we want Greenland. We want Canada. We want Panama.
Starting point is 00:29:23 We might take Mexico. When he meets Putin, Putin's going to say, I can do business for the guy like you. Let me tell you what we want. You want to shake? You can have two really powerful men who control most of the nuclear weapons in the world right i mean really they're the two what are you going to do about it if the two shake hands
Starting point is 00:29:50 on a deal say okay we give you this and we get this what are you gonna do about it it's over those nations change what does putin want he wants the Soviet Union back. He wants the borders of the Soviet Union. For him as a KGB agent he has expressed in the past that it was very painful and shameful when the Soviet Union fell.
Starting point is 00:30:23 Because I mean, from their perspective, they were building a great empire. And it collapsed and went down to just Russia. Putin would like to be the
Starting point is 00:30:38 guy that rebuilds it. Well, what countries would have to be brought in? Hungary? Poland? Poland? Romania? Well, what countries would have to be brought in? Well. Hungary? Poland? Poland?
Starting point is 00:30:48 Romania? Czech Republic? A lot of countries. Yeah. Okay. And we've already started that step by bringing Belarus in a memorandum of understanding with Russia. If NATO collapses, where are these little countries going to get their military support?
Starting point is 00:31:08 Are they going to appeal to France? They're going to call Emmanuel Macron, we need you. We need you to come here, build French military bases. Or are they going to look to their next door neighbor, Russia, and say, you know what?
Starting point is 00:31:23 Let's just be friends. Let's sell potatoes and oil. Let's just get along. I think that's the route they're going to go. And Putin is going to shake Trump's hand and say, you got Greenland. And together we share the Arctic. And we keep China out. And we keep China out. And we keep China out.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Hey, if Russia and the United States split the Arctic energy 50-50, no war, no competition, half-sie, half-sie, okay? Right. Where's China going to get their energy? From either Russia or the United States. That's China going to get their energy? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:05 From either Russia or the United States? That's right. And there's no war. I think that's a bold plan. There's no war, Doc. There's no war. There's no competition. There's no friction.
Starting point is 00:32:14 You just divide it up. Sounds far out, doesn't it? Well, Donald Trump is far out. This is the boldest guy who's ever been in the White House. He's bolder than Theodore Roosevelt. Roosevelt was bold. I mean, Roosevelt's the one that built the Panama Canal. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:36 I mean, he established that vision of the front, really of the American frontier, too, and the national park system and just so many things that were brand new. Broke up the trust. It was all new. Everything that he did was new. He had a lot of enemies. A lot of people hated him. Got shot. Yeah, they shot him. And he was from New York.
Starting point is 00:33:02 A New York Republican. So I think this term for Donald Trump is going to be really bold, and I think the world is going to look different, but we are still in World War III, folks. The only thing that changes is that the United States doesn't have to fight two countries. It just fights China. Right.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Because now China's going to be on the defensive. China's going to know. the defensive China's going to know they've got us in a corner and now the pressure's going to be on China they're going to be the ones who are going to strike but they're going to wait, they're going to have to build up their missiles they're going to have to build up their military defenses to be ready for their war, that's why I think it will be in the 2030s.
Starting point is 00:33:48 But if Donald Trump can eliminate Russia as a war competitor and eliminate the need to finance NATO, then this is a win for the USA. Let's go on. We'll take a look at this next one. Now, Doc, this one caught my mind this is number nine caught my eye i mean china southern airlines has canceled all flights from moscow to beijing at the end of january and actually starting the 20th that's what really caught my attention yes on january 20 is there a connection to the Trump inauguration?
Starting point is 00:34:28 And it extends all the way to March 30th. Yes. Right. We'll read the article here and then talk about it. China Southern Airlines has canceled flights from Moscow to Beijing starting January 20th, the Association of Russian Tour Operators said in a statement, they said, quote, according to the information on the airline's website and in booking systems,
Starting point is 00:34:51 this company does not have direct flights between the Russian and Chinese capitals from January 20th to March 30th until the end of the winter schedule and just for the period of the chinese new year uh the ator agency said so what what's your thoughts on this rick what's what's going on is it connected to the trump inauguration does china expect something to happen January 20th? Do they have reason to believe that something's going to happen on the 20th that the American deep state is going to pin
Starting point is 00:35:33 the blame on Russia? Or the mention of the Chinese New Year? Is there a virus outbreak? Hmm. I hadn't considered that. Has Russia said,
Starting point is 00:35:50 we don't want any Chinese people coming here during your... Well, it would be people traveling to China and then coming back. People in Russia going to China and then coming back. Russian, Chinese people living in Russia going to China and then coming back.
Starting point is 00:36:06 Russian, Chinese people living in Russia going to China for the New Year's and then returning. There could be a virus outbreak that the Russians don't want any, they don't want any of it to stay there. Or, and the first thought that came to my mind when I saw this article was that maybe Russia was giving China a heads up. Listen, there's going to be a lot of things flying around in the sky starting after January 20th. Just giving you a heads up. But what would that be, Doug? It would be missiles or maybe hypersonic missiles. But for what?
Starting point is 00:36:42 Well, to knock the tar out of Europe. And so, and maybe even the U.S. So it'd be a good idea to keep Chinese planes out of the sky. But why would Russia attack the U.S. when Trump's in power? Well, that's the question. Unless. They're not convinced yet. I mean.
Starting point is 00:36:59 They're not convinced Trump's going to be there, do they? Right. Because Patricia said, we got to keep this guy alive. Right. convinced Trump's going to be there, do they? Because Patricia said, we've got to keep this guy alive. Or do they have suspicion that something's going to happen on the 20th and the US CIA is going to blame
Starting point is 00:37:15 Russia for something that happened at the inauguration? And then there's the demand. We've got to attack Russia. Folks, we're not safe yet we're not safe yet we're in an extremely dangerous zone right now and we need to pray that Donald Trump is protected that he and his cabinet
Starting point is 00:37:43 take office and there are no calamities, no disasters. This next one, Doc. Von der Leyen, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen she will receive the Charlemagne Prize for her grand efforts to unify the European continent is it unified? is that what I'm seeing here?
Starting point is 00:38:15 I see Europe more divided now than ever yes but it says that they're still working at it Doc they're still laboring at it it's true well European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen still working at it, Doc. Well, she only gets half the prize then. That's true. Well, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will receive the Charlemagne Prize for services to European
Starting point is 00:38:31 unification. The Board of Directors for the award announced Wednesday. The Charlemagne Prize is awarded annually by the city of Aachen in the northwestern German state of North Rhine-Westphalia and is named after the early medieval Frankish king who established what became known as the Holy Roman Empire. Now the official citation for the prize says
Starting point is 00:38:51 von der Leyen personifies Europe and called her the powerful voice of Europe on the world stage. It mentions her leadership of the commission during the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Here's a picture of King Charlemagne. No comparison to Ursula von der Leyen. But what did he establish? The Holy Roman Empire.
Starting point is 00:39:15 The Holy Roman Empire. And he didn't do it by tackling COVID or by complaining about some other country. He went and conquered Europe. He conquered nations. And so they're saying the European Union has conquered Europe. And they're giving Manderley the Charlemagne Award because she has done her part to subdue all the European nations and bring them into a new holy Roman Empire. Except it's not holy.
Starting point is 00:39:52 It's anything but holy. It's a secular Roman Empire. The Telegraph, Israel accused of planting explosives inside Iran's nuclear equipment. Imagine that. So this is the telegraph. It says, Israeli intelligence agencies planted explosives discovered explosives embedded within a centrifuge platform. Hey, boss, we just got a box in from Amazon.
Starting point is 00:40:36 We got our nuclear centrifuges. You better check them out. Oh, I'm sure they're fine. No, check them out. And guess what? What Mr. Zarif said was, our friends at the Atomic Energy Organization had bought a centrifuge platform and it was discovered that explosives
Starting point is 00:40:56 had been embedded inside it. Who would do such a thing, Doc? The same people that would blow up uh pagers pagers uh a very good announcement today donald trump a few hours ago announced we have a deal for the hostages in the middle east they will be released shortly thank you yes notice who announced it donald trump he's not the president yet right donald trump negotiated the release of the hostages since steve whitcoff over there and basically strong-armed everybody in the process and said we're going to get this done so blinken was running over there couldn't get it done biden talked about it for 18 months.
Starting point is 00:41:46 Nobody could get it done. And Donald Trump has negotiated a deal with Hamas to release the hostages. But that didn't stop Biden, Blinken and Harris from getting up in front of a podium about a half hour ago and taking credit for it. Well, of course. That's why Trump. Trump had to get it out there first he got it out there first and let everybody know that uh he was the one that uh made the deal south china morning post chinese war games system sees surprise u.s attack on pla carrier group in the south china sea and
Starting point is 00:42:23 this is actually a story from about a week and a half ago, back on the 3rd. And it goes in line with another story, and the Asia Times refers to this article in the South China Morning Post that China simulating surprise U.S. missile attack in the South China Sea. So China's simulated defense against a U.S. stealth missile assault reveals a high-stakes battle for technological supremacy, pitting stealth versus counter-stealth capabilities in the contested South China Sea. So this month, the South China Morning Post reported that Chinese scientists have simulated a surprise U.S. attack on a PLA carrier group in the South China Sea,
Starting point is 00:43:06 and they revealed key details about the U.S. military's latest stealth anti-ship missile, the long-range anti-ship missile, the AGM-158C. Now, according to the South China Morning Post, the Asia Times saying this, the simulation, led by researcher Wang Chancho from the North China Institute of Computing Technology aimed to enhance the PLA's countermeasures and tactics. It mentions that the simulated battle occurred near the Pradas Islands with the U.S. launching a large-scale attack using 10 LRSMs.
Starting point is 00:43:42 And so what is China wargaming for? For a conflict, direct conflict with the United States. So, they're anticipating a surprise American attack on a Chinese warship. Right. On a carrier group. And then on top
Starting point is 00:44:00 of that, we get to another South China Morning Post article. Chinese scientists simulate hunting Starlink satellites in orbit. Right. They're going to hunt them down and blow them up in space. Right. We actually have two stories about this. Starlink is not as invulnerable as previously thought, according to a team of award-winning scientists in China,
Starting point is 00:44:21 who recently simulated a space operation targeting the constellation of starlink satellites results from the computer simulation show that china could effectively approach nearly 1400 starlink satellites within 12 hours using just 99 chinese satellites and these could be equipped with lasers, microwaves, and other devices to conduct reconnaissance, tracking, or other operations. Now, the article goes on to say here, quote, The potential military application value of the Starlink mega constellation has been heightened in the Russian-Ukraine conflict. In recent years, the militarization of space has intensified, posing a significant threat to China's space security. It is particularly important to track and monitor its operational status.
Starting point is 00:45:11 And that's coming from the project team led by Wu Yunhua, director of the Aerospace Control Department at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Asia Times did an article similar to this, that China plans to blow Starlink out of the sky in a Taiwan war. And so we're no longer limited to terrestrial wars anymore. But now orbital wars, space wars. And Starlink is not a U.S. military satellite officially, not a U.S. military satellite, officially, not a U.S. military satellite configuration. It's owned by Elon Musk.
Starting point is 00:45:52 So how does Elon Musk feel when he reads a headline, China plans to blow his Starlink satellites out of the sky? So he knows that his network of satellites are military targets. Right. And when World War III goes to the next level, his wealth may go to another level, like down. Right. He could see a big chunk of his global network wiped out. But this goes back to something you said several years ago, Rick, about there's going to come a time where the world will be divided into two.
Starting point is 00:46:32 You'll have two geopolitical orbits, maybe more. Two internets. Two banking systems. Right. And so China, of course, by taking out Starlink satellites, they'll have their own network of satellites that they're, of course, putting up, too. And so and they'll simply say they'll have their version of the Monroe Doctrine that we have here. Right. And they'll say there will not be any low orbiting satellites over Asia, period. Right. We claim all of Asia. That's where I think it's going but russia will do the same thing over europe yes and trump will do the same thing over north
Starting point is 00:47:14 and south america the world will be divided up probably into about three groups right now it's headed towards two if you have russia and china. But I think Mr. Trump's plan is going to be to splice that alliance and divide them and appeal to Putin's ego and say, wouldn't you like just to have your own world order, not share it with anybody? Why do you want to share it with China? Why not just set up your own world order not share it with anybody yeah why you want to share it with china why not just set up your own world order i think that's that's probably where this is going to end up by 2030 now the next door is one that you really need to be paying attention to and i you know i want to uh point out to our audience doc and have been, we've been talking now for 50 minutes. And the only topic we've talked about is World War III.
Starting point is 00:48:11 That's right. I'm obsessed with it. Look, I know there's a, you could watch a lot of other podcasters and they're talking about politics. They're talking about things that really don't matter. They're talking about the fire in California. They're talking about politics they're talking about things that really don't matter they're talking about the fire in california they're talking about the fires in california it matters but they're talking about it they're talking or what sound bites coming out of
Starting point is 00:48:34 the hearings in dc yeah yeah they hit the senate hearings and they're talking about things that they have that that that they make up right stories that they make up. Okay? I come here and I show you story after story, newspaper article after article after article showing you we are in World War III right now. And it is for the purpose
Starting point is 00:49:02 of getting people, spiritually and physically. Look, NATO says we got to get a war mindset. I'm trying to get the church to have a war mindset. Yeah. They're in a vacation mindset. Yes. I want the church of God to have a war mindset.
Starting point is 00:49:19 We are in a world war now. And 99.9% of the Christians in the world don't know it. Let's talk about the naval news. Well, this particular article here should be one that should pique your interest here today. Look at that headline there. China suddenly building fleet of special barges suitable for Taiwan landings. And you can see the boats that they're building, the barges that they're building.
Starting point is 00:49:49 But look at the unique bridge that they're putting out with only one purpose, and that is to provide the mobility for troops and vehicles for the invasion. To land on Taiwan Island. Now, China is currently building at least five new special purpose barges which appear to be tailor-made
Starting point is 00:50:09 for amphibious assault. And these barges may provide the People's Republic of China with a unique way to offload large numbers of tanks directly onto Taiwanese roads. A number of special and unusual barges, at least three,
Starting point is 00:50:23 but likely five or more, have been observed in the Guangzhou shipyard in southern China. These have unusually long road bridges, like you're seeing in the picture there on the screen, extending from their bows. Now, this configuration makes them particularly relevant to any future landing of forces on Taiwanese islands. Now, Naval News has seen multiple sources confirming their construction
Starting point is 00:50:46 and has shared information with naval experts to validate preliminary analysis the consensus is that these are most likely for amphibious landings and so uh oh rick he just keeps he's just fixated on this stuff yeah i don't know why i don't know i can't think i can't talk about anything else i come across an article if there was a war going on rick we'd know about it yeah you do know about it it's there it's if you just search it's there and what god is doing with this ministry is providing you with that information so that we are the sons of Issachar. We know the times and we know what God's people should do. Agabus, the prophet, came to Jerusalem in the book of Acts and says, the Lord told me there's going to be a worldwide famine. Yes. Well, it didn't the Lord told me there's going to be a worldwide famine. Yes.
Starting point is 00:51:46 Well, it didn't start the next day. Right. It was about 10 years later. About 10 years later. But the church said, you know what? That's a word from the Lord. We better get moving. Right.
Starting point is 00:51:56 They started stockpiling food. They had a 10-year head start. God's always giving his church a word in advance but the church often doesn't listen and they're caught by surprise. And then there's a lot of suffering and then people go why did God do this to me? Because you didn't listen. You weren't listening. So we're doing our role to show you that World war iii is in motion
Starting point is 00:52:27 now it's underway china's building fleets of barges to land pla troops on taiwan island yes they're doing war scenarios of shooting down elon musk satellites they're doing war scenarios of shooting down Elon Musk's satellites. They're doing war scenarios of fighting the U.S., attacking their naval fleet. Right. They're getting ready for an all-out war with the United States of America. And when that happens, there will be PLA. So you see those barges? Let's put that back up there. So you just think about those barges on the coast of Louisiana.
Starting point is 00:53:15 Or off the coast of Washington. Washington State, California, Oregon, Texas. When you really consider the size of these things, you know, we see a lot of images of World War II and the beaches at Normandy and the troop carriers. Well, the troop carriers that we used in World War II were about the size of those little green personnel carriers on that bridge on the boat. So now you can imagine in your mind, you could get 100, maybe 150 of those personnel carriers on just one of those barges. China is, and they've got the manpower, Rick. Yes. Imagine if they were able to land a million-man force on Taiwan, which isn't beyond the realm
Starting point is 00:54:02 of possibility. No. I mean, they're just a few miles away. Right. But it's going to happen here. Yes. Imagine them offloading in San Diego. They already have brought their troops in this country.
Starting point is 00:54:17 They've been coming in for years under Biden. Young Chinese fighting men have been coming across the border for years the the trojan horse is already inside yes they're already in washington and that's why dc and that's why donald trump is is gearing up to do a mass deportation because he's at war with china that's why i think he's going to make this deal with Russia. We've got to get Russia out of this war. We've got to focus on China. They've already got their troops inside America. There could be a half million Chinese troops
Starting point is 00:54:58 in America right now. How would we know? The invasion's already underway underway they've been coming across the mexican border why because biden and his corrupt administration was paid by china there's proof there's evidence that the biden family got tens of millions of dollars from china and yet they didn't go to prison. They weren't even investigated. No. So I'm trying to give you word up front. You've got precious little time, a few years to get ready for hand-to-hand combat on American soil. That's what's coming, Doc.
Starting point is 00:55:46 American soil, fighting on American soil. I had a dream. I've told you this dream before. It was a creepy one. The Chinese window dream? No. No, the concentration camp. I was a prisoner in a
Starting point is 00:56:01 Chinese concentration camp, but the camp was inside America. I don't know if you've ever told me that one or not. I never told you this? I thought I did. I didn't call it. I thought I did. Anyhow, I was on my hands and knees.
Starting point is 00:56:18 I'm out in a yard. I mean, I can see the I can see the the fencing. Right. The perimeter fencing. I can see the the barracks, the military barracks. I can see the housing units for the prisoners. And I was on my hands and knees and a Chinese soldier was standing next to me. And he said, you know, today's your day. You're going to die today. You're going to be executed. And he said, you know, today's your day. You're going to die today. You're going to be executed.
Starting point is 00:56:47 And he pointed and across the field in a tower. Oh, yeah, you did tell me this. Yes. Was the sniper. Right. And he looked at me. The Chinese soldier looked at me and he said, he's going to shoot you. You're going to die.
Starting point is 00:57:07 And I said, tell him to come down here and look me in the eyes like a man and then shoot me. Don't shoot me like an animal. And so he made a call. And then he looks back and he goes, it's your lucky day. You get to live another five minutes. He's on his way. That was the end of the dream. But I was in a
Starting point is 00:57:29 concentration camp inside the USA. The Chinese had American prisoners of war and they were executing them. First, you have no idea what's coming. You have no idea. I can't be quiet about it
Starting point is 00:57:48 there's going to be hand-to-hand combat on american soil i had a i was talking to a couple one time this years ago and i was trying to tell them that there would be war in america and and the, she just glibly said, well, I'll just learn to speak Mandarin. That was her answer. If they take over, I'll just learn to speak Mandarin. And I looked at her and I said, sweetheart, don't waste your time. They don't need you. They're going to put a bayonet in your gut.
Starting point is 00:58:26 And then her face got white i said do you think you're going to speak mandarin and keep your life they're going to gut you you have no idea what's coming they're coming to take the land not to keep not to make you to turn you into a Chinese citizen. They don't need you. They got one and a half billion Chinese citizens. They're looking for land. And I still remember back in 2014, Rick, where you did an episode on China, a True News episode on China. And remember the lady that sent the email that asked, if China does take over, where do I send my mortgage payments? Yeah, who will i pay
Starting point is 00:59:05 who will i pay my mortgage to it's like oh my oh doc uh you following the korean drama yes so last night what happened well uh president yoon was taken into custody without incident. He, it took a little while to convince him to come on out. They had to go through two layers of presidential security, but eventually he did hand himself over to the Corruption Investigation Office, the CIO of Korea. He said to prevent any bloodshed in the country. And so as it stands right now, tensions have kind of dropped down a little bit and he's cooperating. He testified till like close to midnight last night and will likely be doing that a whole day again today. And his defense is there's no law against declaring martial law. That's right.
Starting point is 01:00:08 There is. And he's right. There is no law against it. He didn't break the law. But what they in many ways, Rick, this was a win by, well, it's the Democrat Party in Korea. The leftist party really won this battle. And I really think So they win by impeaching and removing popular elected
Starting point is 01:00:33 presidents. And the reason why he even instituted martial law because, and he made the case that night that they had been infiltrated by the communists. The North Koreans. The North Korean communists. Just like here, the Democratic Party is infiltrated by the Chinese. That's right.
Starting point is 01:00:51 And so in many ways, there's that same thing that's happening. That's why we need to be praying as we move forward with the inauguration this next week and for cabinet members because I'm telling you, the communists will stop at nothing to change power. No, they're godless. There's no morality. They're godless.
Starting point is 01:01:14 Power is their god. I'm going to go through a couple headlines very quickly. Number 19, New York Post, L.A. fire bosses chose not to deploy firefighters and fire trucks when the palisade fire erupted they had 1 000 available firefighters and 40 water carrying trucks that they did not deploy until the fire got out of control. Again, incompetence or sabotage. Which is it? They're both
Starting point is 01:01:52 really bad. Which is scarier. That's what I'm saying. That they're total idiots or they're traitors. They're working for the Communist Party. Now, when we talk about the firefighters, we're not talking about the rank and file folks. They're traitors. They're working for the Communist Party. Now, when we talk about the firefighters, we're not talking about the rank-and-file folks. They're out there. They're doing the work. They're doing what they're being told to do.
Starting point is 01:02:10 But these guys in charge, they're stuck on an agenda, an agenda that's been handed down to them from the L.A. mayor. It's been handed down from Governor Newsom. They're stuck on the agenda. They've got to follow the agenda more than the focus of firefighters, which is what? To fight fire. That's right. Now, this next one, New York Post.
Starting point is 01:02:33 Yeah. Retro blue Volkswagen van miraculously survives deadly Los Angeles fire. See that blue van? How did it survive? That's a great question. Look at that. Fire doesn't like blue. I guess. Now, of course, there were reports out of Hawaii back last year when Maui
Starting point is 01:03:02 was burning that houses with blue roofs didn't burn. And there have been some images coming out of Palisades and L.A. about other houses with blue roofs. But this, I have to admit, Rick, this was one of the pictures that really gave me pause because I'm not really hip on the blue roof theory yet. Unless a driver drove it in there and they took the picture. Okay. But according to the New York Post, the van was there after the fire swept through.
Starting point is 01:03:34 Untouched. A magic van. A magic van. We'll show you two pictures of the van before the fire. Very California. Oh, yeah. As California is here and get. And then after the fire, which we just saw.
Starting point is 01:03:55 Look at complete destruction all around. And yet, and there are other vehicles that are burned. You can see other vehicles in driveways and stuff. So, very strange i i want to drop down now to uh number 29 before we wrap it up here folks and i i got something i want to uh put before you so every year since i guess 2018 true news has gone to mobile world congress which is the world conference of the mobile phone industry and it's in barcelona spain and the very first event that i attended it was paul
Starting point is 01:04:35 benson and me went and uh we didn't even uh stream we just went went there for educational purposes. And on the opening session, on the first day, the opening session, the topic was the global brain by the year 2030. And I'm looking over at Paul going, oh my, now I know why God had me come here. And that radically changed the direction. Changed everything of this ministry. We said, hey, there's something coming in 2030. We're, hey, there's something coming in 2030. We're still talking about 2030. They, the globalists, they have a plan for 2030.
Starting point is 01:05:16 They have a 2030 agenda, the United Nations. What is it about the phone industry, the telecom industry? What I see is that the telecoms, the phone industry, you know, our smartphones, their network that delivers phone calls, I see it as the nervous system of the new world order, that they can't implement their vision of their new world order without that nervous system, which is the phone company. So when we go to the Mobile World Congress, we hear things. We sit in the meetings.
Starting point is 01:05:50 We hear things that they're planning for a decade ahead. So when I came back in 2018, I told the audience, I said, hey, they're talking about robots. They're talking about driverless cars smart cities internet of things meaning um microchips and everything your clothing your glasses your books your everything will have microchips and transmitting data okay but they got to build this 5g network we didn't have 5g when i went there in 2018 that's right they said we're building a 5g network and when we have 5g we can do all these things and i came back and i told everybody some of our audience got upset with me and said this
Starting point is 01:06:32 is a waste of time and money why don't you just report the news that is the news yes i'm telling you where the world is going and we we were ahead of the curve now Now it's not. Everybody talks about 5G, Internet of Things, robots. Artificial intelligence, yes. We were talking about it in 2018, and people thought we were smoking hashish or something. It was like, what are you guys talking about? We started going to FinTech, financial technology conferences, talking about cryptocurrency.
Starting point is 01:07:06 Before it was cool. Before it was cool. Before it was cool. So, hey, the plan is to have cryptocurrency replace money. Okay. So we've been ahead of the curve and a lot of other podcasters have watched us over the years to learn what we are learning at these meetings. Right. Okay. That's fine.
Starting point is 01:07:25 That's okay. I want to stay ahead of the curve. I want to be in the front. So Mobile World Congress is coming up at the beginning of March, March 3rd through the 6th in Barcelona. This is a website. And I'm just,
Starting point is 01:07:46 I want you to, I'm going to run through some of the agenda. So we're going to go to, okay, it's Monday through Thursday. And so we're looking at Monday. And, you know,
Starting point is 01:07:58 so the opening session, the gateway to a new future. Okay. So keynote number one, the gateway to a new Future. Okay, so keynote number one, The Gateway to a New Future. I promise you, this is the event. Keynote speech number one, day one, is where we heard about the global brain. This is where they bring out the really big stuff, the mind-blowing stuff, the opening session.
Starting point is 01:08:23 Keynote number one on the first day. And it kind of sets the tone for the rest of the show. So we will be there. God willing, we'll be in that session. Then look at this. Global tech governance. Global technology governance. Generative AI.
Starting point is 01:08:51 Experimentation to transformation folks they were talking about generative ai last year i had never heard of it doc right i came back and one night i was in bed asleep and the lord spoke to me in my sleep. It wasn't a dream. He spoke to me. And the Holy Spirit told me, Rick, study generative AI. That was the instruction he gave me. Study it. Study generative AI. That was one year ago. The other thing that he told me in my sleep, and I couldn't fully comprehend what the Lord was that he told me in my sleep and i couldn't fully comprehend what the lord was imparting to me was that there will be a day that ai will be inside you yes
Starting point is 01:09:33 you will not access ai it will be in you that's where they're going they want to put it in you let's go back to the agenda okay the next one, the double-edged sword, will AI hinder or accelerate diversity? Next one is talking about the telco, the phone companies capitalizing on the AI revolution. Did you see back there 35 billion devices by 2030? 35 billion? Just owned by the telcos. Owned by the telcos. Right. 35 billion? Yes.
Starting point is 01:10:11 Devices. Are telcos prepared for 35 billion devices by 2030? No, I think they're talking about devices hooked to the phone. 35 billion devices connected to. Will they be able to handle it? will they be able to handle would they be able to handle it 35 billion devices transmitting through their system right okay um corporate info wars building a culture of innovation so forth digital health program, universal health care 2025. Next one, fintech. Again, financial technology.
Starting point is 01:10:50 Financial technology, how they're going to, how are you going to transfer money digitally? We witnessed with our own eyes the implantation of a microchip in a man's hand. We were sitting in the front row. We watched it. They transferred money from one man's bank account to another man's bank account. We were there in the front row and watched it.
Starting point is 01:11:17 Redefining connectivity with AI and private 5G. Then we get down to another one on digital health care keynotes number two let's see what is this this is 11 30 folks this we haven't even made it to lunch on the first day right okay uh then we get down to um you got smart cities smart cities a growing opportunity. Digital health, another one. Mind the Gap. The Gateway to New Digital Prospects. Synthetic Memories. Look at that one.
Starting point is 01:11:53 What is that about? Synthetic Memories. Look at the next one. In AI, we trust. An AI God. an ai god shaping the future with ai quantum and next gen connectivity um let's get down keep going now we're down to see we just made it to lunchtime this is just the first half day yes okay and the sessions continue as you can see them as they're scrolling by manufacturing smart manufacturing beyond connectivity a lot of ai real ai success stories embracing cloud what is that cloud native transforming enterprise
Starting point is 01:12:43 agility and growth okay whatever that is. Keynote number three, balancing innovation and regulation. This is for the phone companies. Keep going. Let's keep scrolling down. Can countries thrive when offline? Yes. In other words, if you're not with it, are you even going to make it as a country?
Starting point is 01:13:07 Right. More digital health and also more on generative AI. Google Health is a big player there. Google. Yes. Google wants to digitize all of your medical records. Yes. They have a lot of them already.
Starting point is 01:13:28 I don't even know what hour are we at there. About three in the afternoon on the first day. FinTech, connectivity, digital longevity. This will go to 6 p.m. Yes. On the first day. And then all other days are just like this. Right. So it takes us, we have to have at least four people there to get to all these meetings.
Starting point is 01:13:52 There's a lot of walking. This is spread out over a massive convention center. And it takes a lot of walking. And so we divide it up and we send one member of the team to particular areas all through the day. We get back together, we record, and we send it back to you each day to give you a firsthand report. This is what they're talking about. We just came out of these meetings. This is what we just heard.
Starting point is 01:14:18 It's fresh in our mind right now. And last year, I think we did four 15-minute reports each day. Yes. And it was fresh. As soon as we came out of the meetings, we gathered and put together a report. We saw flying cars, flying taxis, all kinds of stuff. All right, so I just showed you one day. This is what I'm praying about, folks.
Starting point is 01:14:46 Going to the mobile world is expensive. This is not cheap. And we have to take at least five people. I'd like to take six, but a minimum of five. We need four to do the reporting, and I need one tech runner runner somebody that's putting the you know because we're going to be transmitting back to you okay we need we need an organizer a person who's just you know running around doing things that have to be done before we record the next session okay so we really need five people there i'm going to give you an idea of what it costs
Starting point is 01:15:27 you know what the ticket price is 24 68 not 24 and that is not 24 and 68 that's 2 468 dollars per person times five that's 12 340 dollars that we pay to get in the door this is a big this is for serious players okay this isn't a flea market this isn't your home show expo on a saturday at the county fair for five of us to get inside we will pay twelve thousand three hundred and forty dollars right okay up front to get in airfare i check airfare right now from florida to barcelona right now fourteen hundred per person for five people that's seven thousand dollars yes hotel
Starting point is 01:16:26 okay so we got to have five rooms the the lowest price rooms i could find doc were 600 per night i believe that the lowest price the closer you get to the convention center they they were getting up to the $1,500 per night range. What we always do is we rent an Airbnb apartment. Now, they're not close to the convention center, so we have to ride subway trains. And that adds 30 to 45 minutes each trip, morning and evening. Right. To go back and forth between the apartment and the convention.
Starting point is 01:17:14 But it saves us a lot of money. Last year, Doc, we paid $4,000 for an Airbnb. Right. This year, the closest that I can find is $10,000. It's doubled. More than doubled. Okay. Food, not a big deal.
Starting point is 01:17:42 We spend maybe $50 per person per day right if that much yeah we usually eat breakfast skip lunch and eat dinner right we're too busy to eat lunch we don't have time to eat lunch and really there are nights where we're too tired to eat dinner and yes many nights we're just too tired because we because uh we walk anywhere from six to eight miles a day. Yes. That's a fact. Six to eight miles per day in walking. So food, maybe $1,500. Transportation, ground transportation, transportation for five people in luggage and gear from the airport to the
Starting point is 01:18:19 apartment and back, plus a little bit of ground transportation, Uber and so forth. Usually we ride subway. All right. So I'm estimating $500. Anyhow, it comes out to $30,740. That's what it costs us minimum to go to Mobile World Congress. Almost $31,000. I'm putting this out here by faith.
Starting point is 01:18:44 I believe the Lord out here by faith. I believe the Lord wants us to go. He spoke to my heart years ago. He wanted me at those meetings. He wanted somebody from his kingdom inside those meetings to report to the body of Christ what the world is planning. Right.
Starting point is 01:19:01 Who else? There's nobody in the kingdom of God there. Nobody there representing the kingdom of God in the entire conference. Nobody. Nobody walking around. Over 100,000 people there. And nobody's there for the kingdom of God except true news. I'm not saying there are no Christians there. I'm saying people there for the purpose
Starting point is 01:19:25 of the kingdom of God we're the only ones so I'm asking you will you send us we don't have $30,000 in the bank account right now to go and we're at the place we should be reserving like that
Starting point is 01:19:41 apartment as close as it is to the convention center we should be reserving. Like that apartment, as close as it is to the convention center, we should be reserving it right now, but we'd have to put down $10,000. Okay. You put down the $10,000, well, now you have to believe that the money for the airfare is going to come in. The money for the registration is going to come in. I need to hear from you. I'm asking that over the next two weeks, by the end of January, that our partners would give up and beyond their normal giving a minimum $30,000 to finance us going to mobile world at the beginning of March. But we have to buy the plane tickets soon. You know, if you don't buy,
Starting point is 01:20:28 especially international, if you don't buy in advance, you pay a much higher fare. The fares go up. So right now, airfare is around $1,400. If we wait two weeks, it could be $1,800. Okay?
Starting point is 01:20:44 So I'm asking you to to give we need thirty thousand dollars exactly thirty thousand seven hundred and forty dollars that's our budget that's not leaving for chewing gum or anything like that you know we'll pick up that buy them yeah you buy your own um but i'll tell you folks we don't waste money. You might say, well, $10,000 for a lot? Yeah. Hotel, the cheapest hotel right now, close to the, I want to say close, many miles away. You'd have to ride many miles away. The cheapest hotel for five people is $18,000?
Starting point is 01:21:23 Yes, for the week. And I know that's hard to comprehend, folks, but that, you know, so many times you've asked, hey, thanks for providing the latest information, the latest news and everything. Well, folks, this is all right. This is your opportunity.
Starting point is 01:21:42 Tell us if you want us to continue with news. This is it. It's a big step of faith every time we go. But we always come back with such amazing information every single trip. Doc, you know, every time President Trump took us on a trip during his first term, it cost us $50,000. Yes. You know why? Because we had to do what the White House said. That's right. You didn't pick your hotel. The White House said, this is where you're staying. And I understand that. They had
Starting point is 01:22:12 security issues and everything. The same thing, we went to Buenos Aires. And we took a team down there. We had to stay where the White House told us to stay. We couldn't go down to Motel 6 in Buenos Aires. No, you stay where they say and you pay the price. Right. And so if you want to run with the big dogs, you got to pay the money like the big dogs. And so we want to be there.
Starting point is 01:22:39 We believe it's important. We believe that we're going to hear vital information that the body of Christ needs to hear in 2025. And we're asking you to send us. That's what we're doing. We're asking you to send us. There's our phone number, 800-576-2116. 800-576-2116. The mailing address, P.O. Box 399 Vero Beach, Florida
Starting point is 01:23:05 32961 Doc, 30 people giving $1,000 and it's done. Yes. I know there are 30 people watching me right now that can write a check for $1,000. I know that. There are
Starting point is 01:23:20 there are enough people watching us that you could write a check for $5,000. There's six people that could write a check for $5,000. But there's thousands of people that could write a check for $100. Yes. You've known us. We don't waste money. We don't shirk.
Starting point is 01:23:43 We work. Oh, my. You have no idea. If you think this is a vacation, once you come, I'll work your little legs off of you. You'll be so tired of that vacation. Let me tell you what it's like. You get up. You fly in. You have jet lag. First day, you need to be up about 5 a.m you're on a different time zone okay because you've gone from east east eastern time zone in the united states you're now
Starting point is 01:24:17 in in uh whatever time zone in europe in spain you have jet lag you got to be at the convention center by 7 a.m to go through security right and then walk it seems like about five miles through the convention center to get to the opening session that's right it's a lot of walking okay so you have to be there at really 7 a.m no later than 7 30 because there's a hundred thousand other people showing up yes doing the same thing they're all trying to get through security and they're all trying to get to the opening session and and so that's the first thing now you had to ride a subway to get there right so now you're packed into a subway You're walking from the apartment to the subway station. It's wintertime.
Starting point is 01:25:07 You're with a crowd of people in the morning. You're jammed into subway trains. You got people that are sick. All right. The locals are sick. They got flu and everything. Okay. You're in that little train.
Starting point is 01:25:18 You're all scrunched up. And then you have to change stations. You got to go to another train and then get off the train and walk to the convention center just to get there by 7 a.m. And we're not telling you that to tell you some sob story. We're just telling you this is the reality of every single day. And then we do it again at the end of the day. We're pumped and excited about it. We're not griping.
Starting point is 01:25:39 We're complaining. I'm just telling you it's hard work. And then you saw the sessions. That was just one day. That's from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. And it takes four of us to fan out and try to get—we can't get to all of them. No. But we try to get to the best that we can cover.
Starting point is 01:25:59 And then we regather at 6 p.m. and we redo the whole thing. We go back on the subway. We get back to the apartment. And somewhere around 9 p.m., we go to dinner. Yeah. And then we come home and crash it and go to sleep and get back up at 5 a.m. Yeah. And when it's over, we go to the airport.
Starting point is 01:26:21 And then we fly back. That's what it's like. There's no vacation. Along the way, we go to the airport. And then we fly back. That's what it's like. There's no vacation. Along the way, we're fighting flu and diarrhea. Oh, the last time Doc was sick. We had several people who were sick. And then when I left, my flight was out of Iceland. That's right.
Starting point is 01:26:39 I went from Spain to Iceland. When I got to Iceland, I had a high fever. I was so sick from iceland to florida because you're hanging out with a hundred thousand people from all over the world sick many of them sick and and the local trains and you say well why do you want to do this because of the information we're going to hear and we want to share it with you we want to be ahead of the curve we want you to know where the world is going. Where the world is going is a rendezvous with Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 01:27:12 Satan is building his kingdom. Yes. What we're reporting on is the construction of Satan's kingdom. Right. A mark of the beast. We watched him put a microchip in a human we watched him scan and move the money we saw it on the screen we saw a move from that bank account to that bank account we saw it at mobile world congress at that conference right there we were on the front row and god wanted us on the front row when When we got in that meeting, there were no seats. And the moment we walked in, it was packed.
Starting point is 01:27:51 The moment we got in there, five people in the front row got up and walked out. And we grabbed their seats. God had the front row seats waiting for us. So we knew the Lord was with us and we witnessed something that needed to be seen the plan to have a mark of the beast and a planet microchip to do financial transactions why is it being done with the phone companies because they're the nervous they're the nervous system of the system okay would you help us there's the phone number 800-576-2116. Mailing address P.O. Box 399 Vero Beach, Florida 32961. You can donate online at truenews.com or faithandvalues.com.

Starting point is 01:30:38 to midnight and you're here with us today and that that's a wonderful encouragement that you're so hungry for the Word. This year, we are beginning our studies of the Word of God with the Book of Romans, and we're in Chapter 1. And today, we'll be looking at verses 21 through 25. So let's pray, and then Doc will read the Word word and we will begin our lesson dear wonderful gracious heavenly father thank you so much thank you for being our father thank you for being our maker thank you for being our savior father we glorify you and praise you and bless you and lift up your name. We praise you, Father. Let all the world know that you are magnificent and mighty. You are the one true God of the entire universe.
Starting point is 01:31:34 There is no other God. And there is no other Savior but your Son, Jesus Christ. And there is no other spirit but your Holy Spirit. There is no other word but your spoken word, Father. And Father, we have come together today in one accord to be taught by your spirit the study and teach all of us so that we would be stronger saints in these last days to represent your son Jesus and to gather in his inheritance in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. I want to say to all of our class members today, congratulations.
Starting point is 01:32:22 You took an incredible step of faith today just by showing up and saying, I want to learn from God's word. That's a big step. And right now we have close to 300 people that are online with us, and we'll probably have close to 400 before our session is over here. But you've shown a love for God's word and you want to learn. God's going to honor that by revealing his word to you today. So if you'll turn word and you want to learn. God's going to honor that by revealing his word to you today. So if you'll turn in your Bibles to Romans chapter one, I'll read verses 21 through 25. If you'd like to follow along, read along with me. Reading from the King James, because that when they knew God, they glorified him not as God. Neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations,
Starting point is 01:33:07 and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man and to birds and four-footed beasts and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lust of their own hearts
Starting point is 01:33:32 to dishonor their own bodies between themselves, who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. Amen. Praise God. Verse 21. My notes flip back to, for some reason, it keeps going back to verse 20.
Starting point is 01:34:05 Give me a second here. Maybe there's more we need to dig out of verse 20. No, I was just thinking about that, Doc. Verse 21. Because knowing God, they didn't glorify him as God. Right. And didn't give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning and their senseless heart was darkened.
Starting point is 01:34:29 So let's look back at verse 20. Let's remember, you know, what were we talking about yesterday when we left? And so the invisible things about him, his eternal power and deity, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world and are understood by the things that are made so that they are without excuse. We discussed yesterday how God uses creation to testify to all humanity that he exists right therefore there is no excuse for any human to deny the existence of god so that's just first base just get to the place that you acknowledge the existence of God. Right.
Starting point is 01:35:26 Then the Holy Spirit will work with you from there. And that's not a saving acknowledgement. That's not in the sense of a saving faith. You can acknowledge God and not acknowledge the salvation that Christ himself paid for. So we want to make this very clear. Satan knows there's a God. You know, Satan recognizes there's a God, but he's not
Starting point is 01:35:52 saved. But verse 20 is saying God put creation, he put inside of us an inner knowledge that there is a maker, there's a creator. And he gave his creation to testify of his existence therefore there is no excuse to deny the existence of god
Starting point is 01:36:14 so now we get to verse 21 and we're now talking about people who deliberately deny the existence of God. Verse 21, because knowing God, they didn't glorify him as God and didn't give thanks. But became vain in their reasoning. And their senseless heart was darkened. That's the modern english version right so humanity had sufficient knowledge of god through natural revelation and this this knowledge of god included awareness of god's power his divinity his attributes they were all clearly evident through creation and this knowledge wasn't speculative or incomplete it was to lead to recognition of god's existence and a recognition of his divine attributes.
Starting point is 01:37:30 In other words, God gave mankind plenty of evidence that he exists. There's no excuse to go to your grave not recognizing the existence of God. You have to make a conscious decision to deny the existence of God. Right. And that's what verse 21 is all about, too. And, you know, it's really remarkable how God does things. He, when this was written, the book of Romans, it was written in Greek. And it was the perfect vehicle, the perfect language to convey some of these very high thoughts that Paul is addressing here.
Starting point is 01:38:15 And sometimes English is limited in its ability to express some of the concepts that are in the original Greek. So for instance here, where it says here, because that when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, nor were thankful. It's not just a one-time event that occurred in the past. So this is going into the Greek. It's not just they made a decision and that's impacted everything else no this these Greek verbs here are what
Starting point is 01:38:52 they call the heiress we really don't have the same kind of tense in English it's easy to describe but what it implies is that there was an event that took place and is continuing to happen. It took place, and it's still going on right now. So when we say that, because when they knew God, so at some point they knew God, but it's continuing to know that he exists, they glorified him not as God. So they made a decision to not glorify him, but that decision is continuing. You're making the decision over and over and over again. So it's not just a one-time event on these things, but it's that those who reject God do it purposely and do it over and over and over again. And what's the result?
Starting point is 01:39:47 The result is you become vain, and this is a different tense here, the result of this continued rejection of God. Vanity kicks in and your heart is darkened. And so English really doesn't have a very good way of expressing that other than to say it happened and it's continuing to happen in other words they're without excuse they they not they not only rejected god once they continue to reject god yes it's an ongoing state of mind right so despite knowing God knowing that he exists I mean all you have to see is a lightning bolt you know a few thousand feet away from you you know there's a God I mean that you see that kind of power well the Bible
Starting point is 01:40:49 says he directs lightning so when there's lightning is really close my Lord would you direct it away from my house please people there there are demonstrations of God's power. Earthquakes. It makes the earth to rumble. And people still deny him. Yes. So even though they have the existence that God, they have the knowledge that God exists, they steadfastly refuse to acknowledge him and to honor him.
Starting point is 01:41:29 Because glorifying God involves recognizing his majesty and his sovereignty and his authority. And those are three attributes they don't want to recognize. Right. He's majestic. He's sovereign. He's in authority. See, the pride of man says, no, no, no, no, no. We're not going to have anybody in authority. We run this world.
Starting point is 01:41:58 Yeah. And that's a continued rejection of the evidence of God. You have to purposely go out of your way to reject the evidence of God. You have to purposely go out of your way to reject the evidence of God. We see it in the new sciences, synthetic biology, where scientists are creating new life forms, talking about new species of humans.
Starting point is 01:42:28 This is man rejecting the sovereignty and authority of God and becoming bengi. So humanity's failure to glorify God is a deliberate act of rebellion. And it's an act of ingratitude. See, gratitude of thanking God, being grateful to God, it's a fundamental moral obligation because when you are grateful you're you are acknowledging God's blessings and provision when I wake up the very first thing I say is good morning father the moment I open my eyes good morning
Starting point is 01:43:22 father when I get out of the bed the first things I'm saying is father thank the moment i open my eyes good morning father when i get out of the bed the first things i'm saying is father thank you for this new day father thank you i'm alive i have a new day thank you thank you father let this be a blessed day i'm i'm grateful father I start my day by thanking him. But humanity's refusal to give thanksgiving to God demonstrates their estrangement, their separation from him. Because people who are estranged from others, it could be spouses, it could be children and parents,
Starting point is 01:44:09 it could be friends, when they are estranged, separated, they're unwilling to give thanksgiving for the other party. So a spirit of ingratitude takes root and that spirit of ingratitude of being ungrateful for the blessings that are in your life will lead eventually it will lead to moral and spiritual decay yes and it will it will be what propels you to further Rebellion yes you'll continue to rebel
Starting point is 01:45:01 so you know if if one party in a marriage is ungrateful for the other partner's gifts and blessings that they bring, if there is ingratitude, there will be decay in a relationship. It's the same way with friendships, with families, with business partners. I've seen it in churches. Yes. Where a sizable portion of the congregation did not appreciate their pastor. And the congregation decayed, and God moved the pastor away to some other place.
Starting point is 01:45:51 I know one church, and we attended it many, many years ago. Congregation was deeply unthankful for the pastor God gave them. He was a good man. He was a good man. He was a good man. But a sizable portion of that congregation didn't like him. And they chased him off. You know what? That church no longer exists.
Starting point is 01:46:18 Yeah, I can believe that. Doc, it marked the beginning of the church's death yeah well it had already died it already died you're right but that chasing off that good pastor was the final the final straw that was it that's when god said okay i'm gonna put ichabod on your door the spirit the Spirit of God has departed see when you are ungrateful all kinds of sinful attitudes will take place inside your being and you'll be separated you'll be so far away from the truth you won't you don't even know it those people in that congregation doc they thought they they thought the sun revolved around them they were so super religious and spiritual but the truth is the sun set on them it was over yeah so Yeah. So, gratitude is a really important attribute
Starting point is 01:47:26 to have in your life. Yes. And obviously it is here. Verse 21 makes it, you know, one of the symptoms of the decline of the rejection of God. When you stop thanking God,
Starting point is 01:47:41 when you stop thanking Him, that's the beginning, that's the downward spiral, that downward link. And it kills churches. It kills families. It kills individuals because you don't realize what are the angels doing up in heaven right now, Rick? You think they're just playing jacks? What are they doing? No, every time we read about what's happening in heaven, angels are praising him. You're a wonderful Lord. We thank you for your presence. We thank you for being God. Thankfulness should be, you know, our language every day. And even in secular journals, they recognize the power of thankfulness. They call it mindfulness, but a lot of it comes out of Eastern religion and everything. But the idea
Starting point is 01:48:35 is to dwell on the things, the positive, the good things that you have. So even secular scientists recognize that there's power in being mindful about the good things that you have, being thankful for what you have. So even secular scientists recognize that there's power in that. But there's not saving grace in that. But that's the first good start so what happens when you have people in your life you know in your family your friendships your co-workers and so forth and you're kind to them you bless them you do good things to them for them because you love them and there's no gratitude. What eventually happens? You eventually
Starting point is 01:49:28 you withhold your hand. You withhold your goodness. That's right. And God does that too. And usually what happens to the people that you withhold your goodness to?
Starting point is 01:49:44 What usually happens happens they continue to go farther away they don't wake up and go wow man i got a stinking attitude i was being blessed and then and my attitude caused the blessings to stop i got to get back and get my attitude calls the blessings to stop. I've got to get back and get my attitude right. No, they just go on, become more vain, come up with a reason of why that person's wrong. You know, they'll fault find and criticize the generous person
Starting point is 01:50:28 doc you've seen it you know here here over the years i've had employees i have blessed them i've done amazing things for them and they weren't grateful yeah and where are they today they're not here yeah they're not here but the people who have you're very grateful you know and and so you will eventually drift away if you're not grateful for the blessings that are in your life you'll just drift away you'll just continue to separate like a like a boat floating away from the shore you don't realize you're going farther and farther out to sea you're not rowing you're not doing anything you're just sitting in the boat, but the tide is taking the boat out. So when you have an ungrateful spirit, that tide
Starting point is 01:51:30 of ungratefulness will just carry you farther away from the source of your blessing. It's really foolish. It's just downright not smart. Hey, I'm grateful Bullish. It's just downright not smart. You know? Hey, I'm grateful for the people on my staff that constantly, you know,
Starting point is 01:51:52 come to me privately and say, hey, I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you, how much I love you. You know, I'm not asking for anything. I just love, I love blessing. I love helping. I love doing things. But I don't want to do it if no one's grateful right so God why isn't God the same way he is the same way yes when you stop thanking him he's like what's up with this
Starting point is 01:52:23 I've been I've been so kind to you I you been blessing you but you never say thank you to me look probably going to bring some conviction on some people how many of you pray before every meal why is why is uh praying before meal become um but it's almost non-existent among christians why is that i mean i it's one thing to be with non-christians in a meal and and you'd say hey would you all mind if i say a prayer over this meal i do but to be with christians and they start gobbling down food and nobody's praying what's up with that what did jesus do with the meal? He blessed it. Actually, he blessed God.
Starting point is 01:53:30 Oh, that's true. You're right. I stand corrected. He looked up and blessed God. That was a revelation that came to me. Like, you know, I've always said prayer over my meal since I've been a Christian. But, you know, one day I realized when I read that he blessed God. I've been blessing mashed potatoes and peas. They didn't make themselves come and get on this plate.
Starting point is 01:53:59 They didn't save you. God in heaven fed me the mashed potatoes and peas father I expressed my thanksgiving to you have fed me now what I asked God to do is to purify the food because there's so much weird stuff in the food these days I'm asking him hey what you know what's in it that doesn't belong there would purify it please so that this is nourishment to my body but I thank him I bless him every meal father I bless you I thank you for this meal if you're not doing something as simple as praying a prayer a blessing and thanksgiving for your meals
Starting point is 01:54:48 you're not thanking him and much of anything else that's the most basic thing right but you're not thankful for a turkey sandwich why would you be thankful for a great blessing you got to be you got to be faithful in the least so make it a point today if you're not a if you don't pray it meals you start today a very simple prayer father i thank you for the meal i bless you i ask you to cleanse this food in the name of jesus that's it amen you don't have to pray for every missionary in the world i i never have those long prayers at meals i go straight to i want to eat i'm not going to pray for every missionary in the philippines and africa and
Starting point is 01:55:48 you know and it's not good and it's not going to bless the food more no and they're not and they're not going to get any of it they don't even know that i'm about to eat it and i i just i i desire that my father knows every single day you know i tell you i think the reason i i bless him and thank him so much throughout the day is doc i think i'm trying to compensate for all the christians who don't i'm saying often to father you're so good it must hurt you that so many of your children don't thank you. I just want to thank you for them.
Starting point is 01:56:50 Wow. I just want to praise you for all the blessings you give to all your people. Not just me. You're a wonderful father. I tell him every day he's a wonderful father. He is a wonderful father. He is a wonderful father. He provides. He protects.
Starting point is 01:57:13 He saves. He heals. He guides. Think of the blessings that flow from him. And you're not imposing on him. he's always ready 24 hours a day always ready to provide whatever it is that we need need some encouragement he's there he'll do it express your thanksgiving
Starting point is 01:57:44 let him know that you're grateful for what he does for you what he's done for you i'm at a place in my life now you know at my age i'm looking back and i'm realizing oh father you were involved in my life at times i didn't even know it i didn't know that you were involved in my life at times I didn't even know it. I didn't know that you steered me towards an open job. It changed my life. I wasn't aware that you led me to a house to be bought. I wasn't aware of your presence in so many things. You guided me before I was saved,
Starting point is 01:58:30 when I was a lost sinner. You were there. You were protecting me when I was a little child. Your presence was known to me. Yes. He's a wonderful father. And his children should be thanking him all the time. And you know what?
Starting point is 01:58:52 Sometimes you just have to get the cobwebs out of your mouth and just say, thank you, Jesus. Just say it out loud. Not under your breath. Not to yourself. But just to say it out loud. Thank you, Jesus. When to yourself but just to say it out loud thank you jesus when when's the last time those words came out of your mouth it may have been a while for me it was like a couple minutes ago before i started this class you know doc it makes me happy i become happy when i'm thanking my father.
Starting point is 01:59:26 Count your blessings one by one. Remember the hymn? Yes. Everybody told him. Count your blessings one by one. Then it will surprise you what the Lord has done. What the Lord has done. Start counting your blessings.
Starting point is 01:59:50 What the Christians are so miserable and grieving and complaining about life. What's wrong with you? Look around. Look at your life. Thank God for your life. Maybe you got some problems. Maybe your mouth created them. Maybe your problems are the product of your mouth.
Starting point is 02:00:15 Change your mouth. Change your words. Speak good, positive things about God and about everybody around you. Just say, I'm not going to sin with my mouth. I'm not going to condemn anybody. I'm not going to speak contrary to the word of God. I'm going to constantly affirm the word of God. Well, to affirm the word of God,
Starting point is 02:00:35 you got to know the word of God. And this group is spending an hour a day to learn the word of God. So verse 21, because that when they know God, they glorified him not as God,
Starting point is 02:00:53 neither were thankful, but they became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened became vain in their imaginations signifies a futile empty thinking foolishness thoughts that Foolishness. Thoughts that amount to nothing, lead to nothing, are worth anything worthwhile. Instead, men and women fill their minds up with the philosophies of men. Absurd ideas. men absurd ideas why don't we go those who also you know I did a little bit of
Starting point is 02:01:51 college I didn't know of any philosopher who was saved if they were saved they weren't a philosopher they were a preacher they were a preacher you have preachers who preach
Starting point is 02:02:19 God's philosophy and you have Satan's preachers who preach his philosophies when we study these great philosophers and we go back to the roman days back to the old ancient greek days oh what a brilliant mind he was let's study plato let's study aristotle let's study sigmund freud let's study all these men now they're all lost i can study them in in one minute they died without christ
Starting point is 02:02:57 why would i want to fill my mind up with their philosophies why would i want to prove to the world hey i'm highly educated i can quote philosopher i know the various philosophies of ancient greece and roman empire and uh the spartan philosophy why what point it's all dead. But people who reject God, reject his truth, then adopt philosophies. Right. To make, to fill the gap.
Starting point is 02:03:37 Well, we need some, we got to get something besides the Bible to explain reality. Why? Why don't you just accept the Bible to explain reality. Why? Why don't you just accept the Bible? Then you don't have to make up something. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word became flesh.
Starting point is 02:03:58 It's really simple. It saves a lot of time. You don't have to get a college degree to study all this stuff. You just read the Bible. But when humans are disconnected from God, their reasoning becomes self-centered and destructive. Starts with this disconnection from God. They are estranged.
Starting point is 02:04:24 They're separated. Starts with this disconnection from God. They are estranged. They're separated. They've cut the lifeline. So I'll figure this out myself. Their foolish heart was darkened. That represents a loss of spiritual and moral clarity. Right. They can't think right.
Starting point is 02:04:55 Their spirit and their mind is darkened. The darkening is a natural consequence of rejecting God. And consequently, it's a form of divine judgment on them. Yes. When people choose to believe a lie, God sends a delusion. He doesn't send a delusion first. He sends the delusion when he realizes they've made up their mind they're going to believe a lie. Therefore, I'm going to send them a delusion.
Starting point is 02:05:42 And what does that do? It seals them in their lie. and they can't get out of it it's like a a ceiling agent like how you would seal uh you know a pavement or something you're putting it you're putting some type of an agent over something it's sealed it can't break nothing can get in nothing can get out well when god sends a delusion on people because they choose to believe a lie they can't get out of it and the truth can't get in they're trapped he doesn't want to do it he does it when they make him do it how hard it must be how heartbreaking it must be to God the Father to
Starting point is 02:06:47 turn sons and daughters into reprobates. Yes. They're gone. They're gone. No hope. There's no hope. When God says there's no hope for somebody, there's no hope there's no hope when God says there's no hope for somebody there's no hope so without
Starting point is 02:07:12 the light of God humanity is spiritually blind it is morally corrupt and it is unable to discern and recognize truth therefore they will believe a lie i mean i i'm watching it here and you know in the usa i don't know what's going on in other countries what lies people believe but i watch it here in the USA. It's hard to get a crowd of people, including so-called Christians, to be interested in God's truth. Doc, it's like today to have a successful ministry. You got to do something besides teach the truth. Yes.
Starting point is 02:08:04 You got to have some sort of spin, some sort of gimmick, teach the truth. Yes. You got to have some sort of spin, some sort of gimmick, some sort of buzz. People are not interested in knowing God's truth. It's too boring to them. So what happens is that when humanity rejects God it sets them on a
Starting point is 02:08:28 downward spiral of moral and spiritual decay and corruption they're going around and around the toilet bowl and on Judgment, they flush. What prevents people from recognizing their need for God and his truth? Pride and self-reliance. Those two are together. People who are proud, and when they're proud, I'm self-made. I'll figure this out I can fix anything I can do it and then there's no need for God they'll figure out who God is they'll figure out what is the meaning of life they'll figure it out they don't need to go to church they don't need to read the bible they'll figure it out on their own and they will lead them to some false religion because this will lead them
Starting point is 02:09:33 to idolatry and then they will worship created things instead of the creator there are people who worship nature they speak about Mother Nature well she's not a mother there's no there's no female being out there called nature right people talk about Mother Nature what mother mother out there there's a father who made everything are you telling me that he's married he's married to nature see that's a that's a that's a false god a false idol that people have yet it just flows out of the mouths of people mother nature how about father creator? Amen.
Starting point is 02:10:30 That angel is encircling the earth. Worship the creator. Yes. That's in the book of Revelation. Yes. Worship the creator. Specifically identifies God as the creator I am convinced that
Starting point is 02:10:52 in the last days preaching the message of God the creator and the Genesis account of creation will be the hallmark of godly preaching I agree with you, Rick. Anytime I post on social media about creation, guess who is the most likely to respond negatively
Starting point is 02:11:16 about that? Other believers. And I just don't get it. Jesus believed in creation. what are they believing in is it they call themselves believer believing in what well they they've bought the line that uh you know that there's a billions of years that are involved in the process of here we're the pinnacle of that whole process and everything. Really, how vain is that? How idolatrous is just
Starting point is 02:11:49 that thought alone? We're the ultimate. We're the cream of the crop. We're the best. They don't know the creator. That's right. They don't know him. If they knew him, they would be boasting of their father the creator right
Starting point is 02:12:12 so it inevitably leads to idolatry right and humans then create they create and worship their own false gods because they refuse to honor and worship the true God. Yeah. But idolatry is a symptom of humanity's deeper rebellion against God. You get down at the core of it. What is at the core of idolatry? It is rebellion against God.
Starting point is 02:12:48 When we were in jordan and i don't remember what area of jordan we were at but we were at a site where there was a the ruins of a temple of baal and the whole thing was blackened had been burned not only did it but it had been burned and you could still see the the formations of the altars where they presented their sacrifices to Baal? Probably little children. Gee, who burned it down? What happened? Where did that fire come from? Man's been doing this for thousands of years.
Starting point is 02:13:43 Was that at Pella? Yes. Yes, Doc. I was sitting here thinking, because at that site, there were several pagan temples at that site, in addition to the several Christian churches. Yes, it was Pella.
Starting point is 02:13:58 You're right. So this darkened heart is a natural consequence of rejecting God. And it's a form of judgment. They brought it upon themselves and then God seals them in it. He never does this from his point. God's never trying to bring judgment on anybody we force him to bring judgment human force got to do it he's not sitting in heaven right now looking
Starting point is 02:14:40 for somebody to judge he's looking for somebody to save somebody to deliver yes somebody set free but sadly there will be humans throughout the world today who will cross that line in the negative direction and their fate will be sealed because they chose to believe a lie for most lives and and they'll come to the place where god gives them up because they knowingly rejected the truth about god and at the heart of it is pride i have seen people on their deathbed refuse to believe in God. Knowing that they're going to die. Knowing that they're going to die.
Starting point is 02:15:42 One of the eeriest things I ever heard in a hospital. Susan's grandmother was hospitalized. This was many years ago. And Susan and I were there at the hospital. We were there for many hours one night. And Doc, for hours and hours and hours down the hallway you could hear a man cursing just cursing curse i mean foul vulgar cursing you could hear it for hours it didn't stop. And I said to the nurse, which one was that man down there? And she said,
Starting point is 02:16:32 oh, he's been like that ever since he's been in the hospital. He just curses all day. That's the way he's been. Well, you know, you kind of block it out. You know, we're there visiting, you know, we got the the door shut you can still hear him he's that loud wow but if you open up the door go into the hallway you could really hear the guy cursing and doc i don't remember how many hours passed but i realized the cursing had stopped and i a little bit later, a nurse came in, and I said, hey,
Starting point is 02:17:09 I heard the man's not cursing anymore. Did he finally fall asleep? And she says, no, he died. What a sad way to leave this world. He left this world cursinging what was he cursing about what was he so angry about even I know it harder he was angry proud to repent. Too proud to repent. That's what God sees every day. So sad.
Starting point is 02:17:54 Every day God sees this. He sees people leave this world and go into the next world. Cursing. Cursing and rejecting him refusing to submit to him so pride is central to the rejection of God they trust their own wisdom they dismiss the truth of God's Word they adopt easily adopt man-made ideas they go to college you go to universities just study to fill their heads with man-made ideas they have and they boast about it but the whole time they are consciously deliberately rejecting knowledge of God's truth
Starting point is 02:19:06 yes and it is spiritual pride and Rebell. And it leads to moral and spiritual decay. So if you know God, you have a moral obligation to honor him and to thank him. It comes with the territory. If you're going to call yourself a Christian, a believer, a disciple, you're obligated to acknowledge him and thank him. That ought to be part of your day. And if it isn't, just get into a habit of it. I'm telling you, you'll feel good.
Starting point is 02:19:40 Yes. You'll feel good people who refuse to thank God are trying to suppress the truth amen and that's a deliberate act of rebellion it gets back to this whole thing about rebellion do we have time to do one more verse?
Starting point is 02:20:05 What do you think, Doug? It's already... Yeah, we've got 10 minutes left. We do? Yeah. Okay, all right. We'll move to Romans 1, verse 22. Get it here.
Starting point is 02:20:21 I don't have it in my notes. Verse 22. get it here I don't have it in my notes verse 22 claiming to be wise they became fools they boasted of their wisdom and when people boast of their own wisdom they actually become fools and their
Starting point is 02:20:49 their human wisdom is based on their rejection of god yes so humanity whenever humans claim to be wise particularly in philosophical intellectual pursuits the the end result is foolishness because it's man-centered man-made wisdom that's detached from godly wisdom and that leads to self-deception by rejecting god's word the revelation of truth in his word people lose the fear of the Lord. Yes. You can't be wise without fearing God.
Starting point is 02:21:55 Do I fear my father? Yes. He is loving. He is kind. But I am not going to get on his bad side. I don't want to be on his bad side I don't want to upset him I don't want to get I don't want to rankle his I don't want to do anything that upsets me I fear him I like him when he's happy I don't want to be around him when he's mad mad at me I don't want that
Starting point is 02:22:27 I like it when he's happy with me so I try to be the best I can be to make him happy with me the difficulty I have is people around me who don't want me to be happy and want me to want me to be happy and want me to want me to strike out, be upset. There's where I have to battle every day.
Starting point is 02:22:55 Just to stay in God's peace, not to get out of it. You know, I often joke. I get up every morning and I'm full of Jesus. I've made up my mind. I'm going to be like Jesus today. And then by noon. People are trying to stop me from being like Jesus.
Starting point is 02:23:23 And then tomorrow I got gotta start all over again i mean you know what i'm talking about yes okay just the day-to-day stuff yes now you need the big crisis stuff just just the day-to-day you know rubbing shoulders with people stuff so you know at some point I learned that I couldn't be like Jesus see I was told for years Rick you got to be like Jesus that's your problem you got to be more like Jesus I tried the more I tried to be like Jesus I ended up being Rick I'm like, this is not working. I'm still Rick. Why can't I be like Jesus? And then I understood.
Starting point is 02:24:13 When I understood the Beatitudes, that I was poor in spirit. Yes. What's that mean? I'm spiritually bankrupt. I'm bankrupt. Instead of trying to be like jesus just forget that get that out of your head focus on letting jesus live in you yes because you will never be like jesus because you are you. That's right. Our preacher friend, you will never be a better you. I'm sorry to disappoint you. You're never going to be a better you. That's right. Our preacher friend, Mike Murdoch said, you know what? There's already one Jesus. He doesn't need another but he did make you he made Rick Wiles he did make you
Starting point is 02:25:06 Delia Carey he made you individual for Christ was well in you what he desires is for us to submit to the Holy Spirit and allow the Holy Spirit to live in us
Starting point is 02:25:24 speak through us think through us that's what he desires in other words he wants doc to get out of the way he wants rick to get out of the way he wants you to get out of the way and let the holy spirit take residence and run your life run mouth control your mind the the attributes of the spirit become evident the more you submit to his his leadership his his sovereign rule of your life i don't want him to be my co-pilot i want him to be my pilot what he desires hey go sit go get in the back in the plane sit down and enjoy the ride i'm going to fly your life why don't we do that why won't we let him do it pride
Starting point is 02:26:35 pride and rebellion i can't give up control of my life why well he might he might tell me to do something I don't want to do. And I've heard people say it. I've heard people say it. I've known people who have stopped, literally stopped the indwelling of the Holy Spirit because they did not want to give up control. I have a cousin, Rick, who says he doesn't go to church anymore because he knows the next time he goes to church, God's going to call him to the mission field. See?
Starting point is 02:27:19 And I said, well, is that a bad thing? He said, well, I got things I want to do. Now you're 60. What haven't you done? What haven't you done? At the heart of it is pride and rebellion. Yeah. You know, I've told you this story.
Starting point is 02:27:37 This happened many years ago. I preached a sermon about submission. And on the way out, the chief deacon of the church said to me, Rick, that was a great sermon. I said, thank you. He goes, you know, that sermon is, that's exactly why I've never submitted to God. I just stopped. I was going, I was in the foyer going out the door I just stopped what did you just say and he was as serious and sincere as anything he goes Rick your sermon that's precisely why I've never submitted to God I've never no didn't say submit I've never
Starting point is 02:28:18 surrendered to God I go can you explain that to me he said well he might tell me to move to another country i'm not going to go i'm just telling you right now i'm not going to go so i won't sin by surrendering to him and then not going that would be sin so i'm not going to surrender this man was the deacon of the church how did he become a deacon religion religion yeah he kept showing up kept giving showing up and giving and they made him the deacon and long enough he was on the deacon board for so many decades he was the top guy steven harsh said he was deacon possessed. Deacon possessed. Stephen, I'm going to steal that one, okay? Oh, man, I love that one.
Starting point is 02:29:13 So, professing. That's a symptom of that rejection of God once again. And acknowledging God that, all right, if I submit to him, he's going to make me do something I don't want to do. Well, you have to question someone's salvation on that. I really do. But see, I turn this around and God says he gives you the desires of your heart. What this man didn't understand is if god really desired
Starting point is 02:29:46 to send you to a foreign nation as a missionary he's going to give you the desire to do it yeah then it's easy to to obey so professing themselves to be wise reflects human pride in their own intellect, in their own wisdom. And this arrogance blinds people to God's truth, and it leads them to failure in life, moral, intellectual, spiritual failure. They claim wisdom, and yet they reject God's wisdom. And it results in foolish behavior, foolish beliefs.
Starting point is 02:30:35 That gentleman I told you about, he truly believed he was a Christian. But he was a fool. But he was a fool. He was a fool, but he was very sincere about it. In his mind, he wasn't sinning. Well, he was a sincere fool then. Yeah, he didn't perceive that his refusal to submit was to surrender his life, that that in itself was sin.
Starting point is 02:31:04 Yeah. Because why? He saw himself as smart enough to direct his life. He didn't need God. He didn't need God to interfere in his life. He had his own plans, his own schedule, his things that he was going to do. And he was going to do things for God.
Starting point is 02:31:26 He was going to be a deacon. Oh, if the church needed something built, he was there. I mean, he did all the right things except submit. You preach submission and watch the demons appear. Boy. Man, they will manifest. Oh, my. Oh, my. Oh, my.
Starting point is 02:31:47 That pride, that rebellion comes out of people. They don't want to submit. They absolutely do not want to submit. Yes. So, people who claim to be enlightened by mankind's wisdom actually end up demonstrating the greatest folly, foolishness. Because the more that they exalt their own wisdom,
Starting point is 02:32:19 the more foolish they become. Yes. I mean, it's... the world is full of it I you know I don't watch television news channels anymore because I don't want to give them the opportunity to lower my IQ I listen to this stuff and i go these people are fools yeah i'm the same way rick i used to watch fox news all the time i i can't stand it now i i feel brain cells exploding i watch fox news especially in the morning. I'm like, if I have to constantly defend my mind against the things that you're saying, then why am I even exposing my mind to you? Right.
Starting point is 02:33:17 But in their mind, they're wise and they're powerful and their wealth and power in their mind validate their wisdom yes you don't have the wealth and the power and the influence that we have therefore you're a fool we're wise you know actually i've listened to what comes out of your mouth and you're the fool yes and worse yet god labels them as fools yes our opinion of whether they're fools or not doesn't count but god says you're a fool yes so god allows humans to experience the consequences of their foolish rebellion billion and eventually they're sealed if they don't turn around they don't get if they don't snap out of it they're going to eventually be sealed and their fate is done and they will be eternally lost because a person's and a society a nation their
Starting point is 02:34:32 downward spiral begins when they abandon and reject God and his truth see when I was unsaved I hadn't I never rejected God I never abandoned God I didn't I just I didn't know truth so I wasn't rejecting I wasn't rebelling so when he when the spirit came to me and said it's time for you to be saved time for you to repent I submit it right but that's different from people who are actively resisting god right because it will lead to idolatry and then that is sin and that leads to corruption and it ultimately it leads to judgment yes okay let's wrap it up yes pick up verse 23 tomorrow and let me say it's been a great week studying in the book of romans here i hope you've been learning a lot of great things this week
