The Democrats plot to imprison Donald Trump before the Republican convention this month has collapsed. I'm Rick Wiles. This is True News for Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024. Let's begin our analysis and commentary of today's news headlines by looking at this article published by NBC News. And you see that right there, the title, I Dissent, Biden Attacks Supreme Court Immunity Ruling as Emboldening a Lawless President.

That's the headline. Is he talking about himself? That's the first thought that comes to my mind. So, Doc, we're starting with the response by Joe Biden to the Supreme Court. I want to get this out of the way because you will now, by the time you finish today's true news, you will understand why, excuse me,

Joe Biden was so angry yesterday. His anger is because the Supreme Court gutted the plan of the Democrats to put Donald Trump in prison by July 11. The plot has gone awry. It has collapsed today.

I've never seen anything like this in my lifetime, but I'm enjoying watching the theatrics. Let's start with President Biden's response yesterday. And we've got a short video clip of the president's remarks. Let's watch. Because the power of the office will no longer be constrained by the law, even including the Supreme Court of the United States. The only limits will be self-imposed by the president alone. This decision today has continued the court's attack in recent years on a wide range of long

established legal principles in our nation. From gutting voting rights and civil rights, to taking away a woman's right to choose, to today's decision that undermines the rule of law of this nation. Nearly four years ago, my predecessor sent a violent mob to the U.S. Capitol to stop the peaceful transfer of power. We all saw it with our own eyes.

We sat there and watched it happen that day. Attack on the police, the ransacking of the Capitol, a mob literally hunting down the House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, gallows erected to hang the Vice President Mike Pence. I think it's fair to say it's one of the darkest days in the history of America. Now the man who sent that mob to the U.S. Capitol is facing potential criminal conviction for what happened that day. And the American people deserve to have an answer in the courts before the upcoming election. The public has a right to know the answer about what happened on January 6th before they asked to vote again this

year. What's going to happen, Mr. Biden, if the evidence is brought out that the 2020 election was rigged? Right. What's going to happen if the evidence is brought out that the Biden family has been paid tens of millions of dollars by communist China? What's going to happen, Mr. Biden, when the entire scheme to put President Trump in prison is revealed? What's going to happen? That's what he's afraid of. Now, at his age, he's not going to live long enough to see all the repercussions of it, okay? But there's some other people around him that are in grave danger of going to prison.

And for our audience, you don't really grasp the significance of this ruling yesterday. All the cases against Donald Trump right now are being pulled apart. Now, Joe Biden, as he finished his speech, didn't take any questions and wandered off aimlessly back into the West Wing. We have a short clip here. What makes you so confident you should be the president? Teleprompter, the next line, the last line on the teleprompter said, turn and shuffle out the back door to the back door and do not turn around and answer any questions. He obviously probably slept until noon.

Because what are we being told now? He only functions between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. So they probably, for yesterday, he slept until noon. And then he got his drug cocktail. And he was coherent enough to go out in the afternoon and do that little press conference. Read the large print on the teleprompter. And then go back to bed. Right.

That's what we have running the country. What the Supreme Court did yesterday, I don't think any of us fully understood it yesterday when the decision came out, how big it is. But I do now because I'm going to show you a number of headlines that have come out in the past two hours. What it's showing us is the Supreme Court broke off several legs of the stool the Democrats were sitting on to direct their plot to put Trump in prison.

Darrell Bock Right. And this is impacting the Bragg case, the Jack Smith case, the Fannie Willis case. And Judge Cannon case down here in Fort Pierce. All four of them. Darrell Bock And you mentioned Alan Bragg. So that one is going to obliterate it. So let's go through this. Well, first of all, I'll show you what Donald Trump, what he posted.

Immediately after the decision. So big win for our Constitution and democracy. Proud to be an American. Now today we're learning much more about why he was so excited. ABC News, following Supreme Court ruling, Trump moves to have New York hush money conviction tossed, thrown out.

Yes. There's already been a major decision made today involving that case. This is the case where he's already been found guilty of 34 counts of felonies, facing 138 years in prison. And so ABC News reported that hours after U.S. Supreme Court issued its landmark ruling that President Donald Trump has some presidential immunity from criminal prosecution for actions taken to overturn results of the 2020 election. Notice ABC's already found him guilty. Right. You know, challenging election results is not a crime. That's not a criminal activity.

It is not a crime. No. To say, I think the election was rigged. There should be an investigation. That's not a crime. Trump on Monday night sought to have his conviction thrown out in his New York criminal hush money case. He goes on to say, Trump's lawyers said the hush money verdict should be tossed because the jury saw evidence during trial that they believe should have been protected by presidential immunity, according to a letter to Judge Juan Machan that was described by sources to ABC News. And it goes on to say that the defense sought additional time to make their argument, a move that could delay Trump's sentencing, which is currently scheduled for July 11. The Manhattan District Attorney's Office and a representative from Trump's legal team declined to comment to ABC News. They go on to say, Under these appropriate standards, President Trump's social media posts and public statements while acting as president and viewed in context fell within the outer perimeter of his presidential duty, to which communicating with the public on matters of public concern was central, Trump's lawyer wrote in the March motion that the judge rejected a head of the trial. So Trump's lawyers made the argument before the Supreme Court decision.

Right. So. Back in March. Back in March. They didn't have the Supreme Court decision in March. And the judge made a ruling against that request. But now, look at where we're at now. ABC TV 7, the ABC affiliate in New York City, Manhattan District Attorney, that's Alvin Bragg, will not oppose

the Trump request to file motion arguing conviction should be tossed. There will not be a sentencing of Donald Trump on July 11. They are not going to put Mr. Trump in prison on July 11. The thing has collapsed. Right. So the Manhattan District Attorney's Office said on Tuesday that it would not oppose former President Trump's request to file a motion arguing his conviction should be tossed, a move that will almost certainly delay Trump's sentencing, which is currently set for, as Rick said, July 11th. Although we believe defendants' arguments to be without merit, we do not oppose his request for leave to file and his putative request to adjourn sentencing pending determination of his motion. That's coming from Assistant District Attorney Josh Stenglis, writing in a letter to Judge Juan Marchand. You know what that means, Doc?

We don't have a leg to stand on. Right. Now, I just saw an update here recently. The earliest possible date for resentencing at this moment is July 24th. The earliest possible. if that occurs then. Not going to happen. So. The plan was to have him in prison before the Republican convention starts July 15th. That's out the window now.

This is incredible. I have never, ever witnessed anything like this. You have to give God glory. Who else is orchestrating these things, Doc? Who else? I mean, just a few days ago, I mean, it was pretty much set in stone that Donald Trump

was going to jail before the convention. That was the plan. They wanted the whole world to see him handcuffed and taken away in a paddy wagon. In an orange jumpsuit, the whole works. Just days before he was to be nominated. Destroy the convention.

Destroy his campaign. Maybe destroy the Republican Party. Ain't happening now, is it? It's not happening. It collapsed. Folks, we are witnessing history being made, and we're witnessing divine intervention in the fate of this nation. Yes, divine election interference. What are they going to do, indict God? God has answered prayers?

Because that's what's happening. God has answered prayers. People are praying, God, save our country. Don't let our country collapse. Don't let them put President Trump in prison. And the Lord has answered the prayer. And there's a major delay now. And it's not just a delay.

I mean, they've had to delay, you know, where Alvin Bragg is at right now, you know, the old saying, up Poop Creek without a paddle. That's where he's at right now. He has nothing to go with. He had nothing. Oh, yeah, we're not going to oppose the motion to delay. Yeah, because you have nothing to stand on. You're in trouble. The entire case is going to be thrown out because they used evidence in that trial that the Supreme Court said cannot be used. Right. And now the repercussions are showing up in other decisions as well. I mean, this is

starting to have a domino effect here. So this from the Washington Post today, look at this headline. Justice Clarence Thomas is using the Trump immunity ruling to question the Jack Smith appointment. Now, the whole appointment of Jack Smith has been questioned from the very beginning anyway. But now with this latest ruling on the immunity ruling, now they've got the ammunition that they can use to question the whole process in Garland appointing Jack Smith as a special prosecutor. The first person who came out against the appointment of Jack Smith on constitutional grounds was former Attorney General Edwin Meese, who was Ronald Reagan's Attorney General. Mr. Meese is still alive and well and practicing law. And he wrote a scathing report, I guess it's been a year ago, saying the appointment, Merrick Garland's appointment of Jack Smith is unconstitutional.

It's illegal. And he's the attorney. He was the attorney general. He knows the law. Right. And I thought back then when I read it, I thought, I'm surprised this has not been given the attention it deserves. But I'll tell you somebody who did read it, Clarence Thomas.

And somewhere this man finds the inner strength to get up off the mat and do it again. Because there are times when you look at him and you think, oh, he's finished. He can't go on. embarrassment, the humiliation of being the former president of the United States and being taken into a jail and your mugshot is taken? Your criminal mugshot is all over the world. The embarrassment, the humiliation of sitting in trials and your personal life is being brought forth and the whole world is reading about it. They have done so much to humiliate him. But it seems like Donald Trump takes that and he uses it as leverage for the next big event. I know. Fannie Willis and Jackson, all these guys are in trouble. Right.

Because you're going to have a new Department of Justice investigating them for collusion. There will be discovery. There will be subpoenas for email files, phone records. Were they conspiring with each other? Yes. Were they communicating with each other? And we already know Willis' office was. Yes.

And how many visits by White House officials to these prosecutors? How much participation from the White House and the DNC with these prosecutors? When they show the collusion, these guys are going to go to prison. You want to talk about racketeering? Oh, man, yes. I mean, it's the biggest racket of all. Yes. To use the law to prosecute and persecute your political opponents.
