Let's start with the Bloomberg article. China providing geospatial intelligence to Russia. And it says the U.S. is warning allies that China has stepped up its support for Russia, including by providing geospatial intelligence to help Moscow in its war against Ukraine. It goes on to say, amid signs of continued military integration between the two states, China has provided Russia with satellite imagery for military purposes, as well as microelectronics and machine tools for tanks, according to people familiar with the matter. China's support also includes optics, propellants to be used in missiles,

and increased space cooperation, one of the people said. So now we go to this next story that just came out today. This is CNBC. Janet Yellen. Janet Yellen is in China. I don't know if she has departed, but this happened today. She made these remarks on Chinese soil. She made a threat against China.

Just imagine, Doc, if the Chinese minister of finance threatened the United States while he was in Washington. Right. That's the same thing. That's the equivalent. Okay. They don't have any shame. That's the way they do business. It's like a bunch of thugs. But she said the U.S. is ready to sanction Chinese banks if they aid Russia's war machine.

And not only will they sanction Chinese banks, they're also willing to sanction Beijing's leadership as well if they continue to assist Russia's armed forces with the invasion of Ukraine. And, of course, that's coming from U.S. Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen. China, she said, is entitled to have a relationship with Russia. Notice we're giving permission for China to have a relationship, noting that much of the trade between the two countries is seen by the U.S. as nonproblematic. However – Isn't there a lot of arrogance in that? I know it is. You're entitled to have a relationship.

But the provision of military aid from Beijing to Moscow could trigger sanctions. By the way, the UK late last week already imposed sanctions on China for the very same reason. I missed that. That was coming out late last week. I missed that. So we've got from C-SPAN, we've got a short video clip of Janet Yellen in Beijing threatening to place U.S. sanctions on Chinese banks. Let's watch. President Biden and I are determined to do all that we can to stem the flow of material that's supporting Russia's defense industrial base and helping it to wage war against Ukraine. We continue to be concerned about the role that any firms, including those in the PRC, are playing in Russia's military procurement. I stress that companies, including those in the PRC,

must not provide material support for Russia's war and that they will face significant consequences if they do. And I reinforce that any banks that facilitate significant transactions to channel military or dual-use goods to Russia's defense industrial base expose themselves to the risk of U.S. sanctions. We also exchanged information on the use of economic tools in the national security space. Going forward, I believe that we must continue to discuss how each side defines national security in the economic sphere. So I don't know what it is, Doc, but both of my big toes have spasms

when I see and hear that woman talk. Do you understand that the arrogance of the U.S. and the Treasury Secretary dictating to other countries how they can operate in relationship with other countries? That's why countries are fed up with the United States. And we can provide material support to Ukraine. We can do all this. France can do it.

Great Britain can do it. Everybody else can do, can provide material support for Ukraine. Remember, they said we're in a rules-based world order, and guess who wrote the rules? Right. And they'll change the rules. The people like Janet Yellen.-based world order, and guess who wrote the rules? Right. And they'll change the rules. The people like Janet Yellen. They write the rules and they change it whenever they want, and they don't keep the rules themselves.

Right. The rules are for other people. But let's think about the implication. If the U.S. starts sanctioning Chinese banks, what happens? I mean, we've seen what happened with sanctions on Russian banks. I mean, they just worked around it. But I'm not so sure the Chinese are going to respond the same way. They have methods to apply pressure to American institutions. Right.

Like the Federal Reserve. And let's not forget there are American companies that operate within China itself, manufacturing companies and the sort. China can react the same way and they can do the same thing. So once again, it's the U.S. setting the rules, the rules they don't even keep themselves. The Washington Post reported yesterday that insiders close to President Trump say that he has a plan to end the war in Ukraine. The Washington Post said former President Donald Trump has privately said he could end Russia's war in Ukraine by pressuring Ukraine to give up some territory. Trump's proposals consist of pushing Ukraine to cede Crimea

and the Donbass border region to Russia, according to people who discussed it with Trump or his advisors and spoke on the condition of anonymity, because those conversations were confidential. Some of Trump's supporters have been trying to persuade him against such an outcome. Who could that be, Doc? Well, that's got to be Lindsey Graham. It is. It's Lindsey Graham. So we have this from Lindsey Graham. I've been spending 100 percent of my time talking to

President Trump about Ukraine, and that's coming from Lindsey Graham. He has to pay a price. He can't win at the end of this, he said speaking about President Putin. So obviously there is some pushback going on. However, we know that's where the end of this is going to end. But Lindsey Graham is determined he's going to hurt Vladimir Putin. Lindsey Graham. Yes. That's what he said.

Putin's got to pay a price. Lindsey Graham is determined he is going to inflict pain and loss on Vladimir Putin. Do you think Putin stays up at night worried that Lindsey Graham is out to get him? Probably doesn't even recognize Graham's influence at all. And so, once again, another warmonger wanting more war. Well, while we're talking about warmongers, they are trotting out the Russia propaganda propaganda again. Yes. It's election time.

We've got an election going. So it's time to start talking about Russia hacking the election. And now we have a Republican congressman, Mike Turner, saying, I have proof that Russian propaganda has been spoken on the floor of the House of Representatives. What does that sound like? What he wants to do? Like people should be arrested. Oh, I think for some of these Democrats, some of these Republicans, that's exactly what

they'd like to see. Some of them removed from office. Some of them put in shackles and taken to the House jail if they could get away with it. Well, this is NBC News. Republican Congressman Mike Turner said Sunday that Russian propaganda has taken hold among some of the House Republican colleagues and has even been uttered on the House floor. We've got a sound video clip from CNN. Let's watch. Let's turn to Ukraine, an issue that's important to you

and your fellow Republican chairman, Michael McCaul, who runs the Foreign Affairs Committee. Congressman McCaul made a comment this week about what he says sounds like Russian propaganda from some conservative media and why it's so difficult to explain to Republican voters why supporting Ukraine is important. He told Julia Yaffe, quote, I think Russian propaganda has made its way into the United States, unfortunately, and it's infected a good chunk of my party's base. He singled out primetime shows on conservative channels.

Do you agree with him? And how big is this problem? Oh, it is absolutely true. We see directly coming from Russia attempts to mask communications that are anti-Ukraine and pro-Russia messages, some of which we even hear being uttered on the House floor. I mean, there are members of Congress today who still incorrectly say that this conflict between Russia and Ukraine is over NATO, which of course it is not. Vladimir Putin having made it very clear, both publicly and to his own population, that his view is that this is a conflict of a much broader claim of Russia to Eastern Europe, including claiming all of Ukraine territory as Russia's.

To the extent that this propaganda takes hold, it makes it more difficult for us to really see this as an authoritarian versus democracy battle, which is what it is. President Xi of China, Vladimir Putin himself have identified it as such. We need to stand up for democracy. We need to make certain that that we know that authoritarian regimes never stop when they when they start in aggression. Ukraine needs our help and assistance now.

And this is a very critical time for the U.S. Congress to step up and provide that aid. Doc, the first thing that comes to my mind is that the CNN host is Jake Tapper, who was one of the premier promoters of propaganda during the four years of President Trump's term in office. Yes. Jake Tapper promoted the lie that Russia hacked the election, that President Trump was a stooge of the Russians. Jake Tapper was at the top of pushing the FBI propaganda. And remember the laptop story about Hunter Biden, that it was all Russia propaganda too? That's right.

So he's still at it. Jake Tapper was in the middle of that. You've got to keep this in mind. When you see Jake Tapper talking about Russian propaganda. Tapper is one of the best propagandists for the deep state. So the congressman, Mike Turner, said that this is not about this war is not about NATO. It's exactly what it's about. What is it about if it's not NATO?

And when did Putin say he wanted to conquer all of Ukraine? Not one time. He has never said that. You cannot prove that at all. That's propaganda there, Rick. Exactly. It's propaganda. He said they were going to denazify Ukraine.

They've never intended to conquer all of Ukraine. They've never intended to conquer all of Ukraine. They did want the Russian-speaking separatist groups, regions, that's it, and Crimea, which the people of Eastern Europe. The Russians have been very clear. They've said for years, we will not allow NATO to be in Ukraine. We will not allow Ukraine to be in NATO. We will defend our borders. And they were saying that right up until February of 2022. And then they finally came to the place where they realized the West was not going to negotiate. Right. They were listening. They just weren't responding. They had no interest at all in negotiating a settlement.

And so now we've had this. We're into the third year of this horrible war. But that was propaganda that Mr. Turner was spewing on CNN with a propaganda meister, Jake Tapper.
