A large piece of the sun broke off last week. The unusual event left scientists puzzled across the world. The piece that broke off is now circulating in a massive polar vortex around the north pole of the sun. Let's look at our first story today published by Indy TV in New Delhi, India.

Doc Burkhardt is here with me. Doc, in 25 years of reporting the news, I have never said these words. A large piece of the sun broke off. Now, this is a story worth looking at. I saw it very early this morning before 6 a.m., and I don't think my tea had kicked in yet when I saw the story. The article says the sun has always fascinated astronomers,

and now a new development has baffled scientists. A huge part of the sun broke off of its surface and created a tornado-like swirl around its north pole. And though scientists are trying to analyze how this occurred, the video of the development has stunned the space community. The remarkable phenomenon was caught by NASA's James Webb Telescope and shared on Twitter by Timitha Scove, a space weather forecaster, last week. And we actually have that video by Dr. Scove.

Now look at the top of the screen here and you're going to see the vortex appear at the, it's in the form of a swirl at the very top around the North pole of the sun. It's a very short clip here. So you have to watch carefully there. So, well, Rick, you know, the Bible says in Luke chapter 21, there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars and upon the earth for distress of nations with perplexity. The sea and the waves roaring, men's hearts failing them for fear and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

That was a key scripture in the opening of True News for many, many years. That's right. And here we see a sign in the sun. Doc, I've never, it's just never has, you know, this thought has never been in my head. You know, today, the sun could blow its top. It could just, you know, a big chunk of the sun could blow off today. I've never thought. It's just never been in my mind. But it's happened. And now you have to, you now have to seriously consider,

is there an event up ahead where a massive chunk of the sun splits off from the sun what happens to the universe what happens to life on this planet if something like that happens because we just had a piece of the sun come off of the of. So it's not unthinkable now. To me, it just, once again, it causes me to reflect on the immensity of God that somehow, just considering our solar system alone and the vastness of the current galaxy and the vastness of the universe,

that so much has to stay in balance. The sun, the moon, the planets in orbit. And while the solar system, while planets are going around the sun, the solar system itself is traveling through the galaxy at tremendous speed as well. So many things have to stay in balance in order for life itself here on earth to even exist.

And it's perfectly synchronized. That's right. And for some, a story like this would make you feel very, very small. But for me, it encourages me that God, even though he has the vast universe under his control, cared enough for me to send his son Jesus to die for me, what would be considered an insignificant organism on a rock three places from the sun.

Amen. So. Amen. It also makes me think about Al Gore, that he thinks he's going to fight climate change. Right. When one flare, one coronal mass ejection could change everything. I'm surprised they haven't blamed this particular situation on global warming yet.

That's where I'm going with it. So, Doc, when I started looking at this story today about the sun, then I discovered a whole string of weird space-based articles. So this next one is from CNET News. Those weird green space lights over Hawaii didn't come from NASA. All right. So off the coast of Hawaii and a series of lights have appeared. They've appeared toward the end of last month here. Is this like a Disney show or something? Well, I mean, the video I've seen of it is pretty spectacular, Rick.

It says on January 28th, a series of green lights zipped across the night sky in Hawaii. The Subaru telescope of Mauna Kea captured footage of the unusual sight with its live-streaming Subaru Asahi Star camera. And though the lights might have prompted concern among some folks about UFOs, they actually have a satellite-related explanation. After some initial confusion, the telescope team traced the likely origin of the lights

to a Chinese satellite. Now, I don't know if that makes my heart feel better or not. And so here is from the telescope site on Mauna Kea where they actually have a still here. Hawaii News Now has, well, we've got a VO here first. It's almost like it's scanning the sky, Rick. So if we can play it again, this is's scanning the sky, Rick. Yes. So if we can play it again, this is a little bit slow motion here. So this is what people in Hawaii were seeing back at the end of January. But it's a Chinese satellite.

And the green lasers down. That's the first thing I thought about. Lasers. Did the Chinese just show us something that they have? Did they just demonstrate a weapon, a space-based weapon? Hawaii News Now also reported another unusual event that occurred in Hawaii, and this was a very strange-looking sight in the sky off the coast of Hawaii. Here's the report from Hawaii News Now. Mystery solved. Now this past Wednesday, the Subaru telescope on Mauna Kea captured video

of this mysterious light over Hawaii. Check it out. Well, guess what? It is not a UFO, they confirmed. It turns out that the so-called flying spiral is actually a new satellite that was launched earlier that day by SpaceX. Sure, it launched all sorts of theories. So thanks to them for clearing up. Why would a satellite generate a spiral. Again, I've been around for the whole space age. Started when I was in elementary school. Never until today

have I seen a spiral from a satellite. Are we supposed to believe the story? Yeah, we're supposed to believe it because they're smarter than us, Rick. We're not supposed to believe the story? Yeah, we're supposed to believe it because they're smarter than us, Rick. We're not supposed to question it.

So Elon Musk made that spiral. That's the story they're going with. So he now makes satellites that spin and put out spirals. Spirals. Okay. And that was just four days before the Chinese green lights over Hawaii.

So it was all happening within a four or five-day period here. So we've got Chinese scanning us with green laser beams. We've got spiral spaceships that are spinning out over the Pacific. And that's not the only thing going on. Right. So on Friday, the Pentagon announced that they shot down another Chinese balloon. Yes. So on Friday afternoon, the White House made the announcement.

They're calling it a high-altitude object, but we can assume it's another balloon. We have a soundbite of John Kirby at the White House shortly after, within the hour of this particular object being taken down, making the announcement from the press desk there at the White House. So I can confirm that the Department of Defense was tracking a high-altitude object over Alaska airspace in the last 24 hours. The object was flying at an altitude of 40,000 feet and posed a reasonable threat to the safety of civilian flight. Out of an abundance of caution and at the recommendation of the Pentagon, President Biden ordered the military to down the object, and they did, and it came inside our territorial waters. Those waters right now are frozen, but inside territorial airspace and over territorial waters. Fighter aircraft assigned

to U.S. Northern Command took down the object within the last hour. Okay, so that was- Why don't I believe Mr. Kirby? I'm having a hard time swallowing this now. I really am, Rick. I think the Biden administration and the Pentagon look so bad in the past week over the Chinese balloon that either they're just telling us they shot down a balloon or they released an American balloon and shot it down just to show how fast the Pentagon

can shoot down balloons now. Because, you know, last week it took them a week or two to blow up a balloon. That's right. And they now they can do it within an hour. So within a few minutes after Mr. Kirby made his announcement there, the spokesman over the Pentagon had this to add. Is there any indication that this was also a Chinese surveillance balloon object, whatever it is? Yeah, so at this point, we don't know the origin of the object. Again, we will know more once we're able to potentially recover some of those materials. But the primary concern, again, was the potential hazard to civil flight. And so, again, we'll know more later.

Thank you. What if it was Dorothy and Toto? You know, the whole story smells here. They didn't even check? They didn't even check to see who was in the balloon. And what changed since last week when they were worried about dropping the balloon, the balloon last week, dropping on kindergartners. They're worried about that this week. Not so much. One thing that really strikes me as interesting is in all of this talk is what we're not talking

about today. Hunter Biden. Right. And classified documents. We're not talking about those stories. By the way, the classified documents, the FBI on Friday paid a visit to Vice President Pence's house for another search of his home. And this just comes the day after a grand jury subpoenaed, or the prosecutor subpoenaed former Vice President Pence to be questioned in an investigation involving former President Trump. Now again, I guess I've been doing this job too long and I'm so jaded and cynical and suspicious all the time. But this was the first thought that came to my mind. I'll just say what popped in my mind when I read on Friday that the FBI was at Mike Pence's house the day after he got subpoenaed. They're going to say, Mr. Pence, guess what? We found a folder under your sofa that says super duper highly top secret.

Don't even touch it. Don't look at it. What was it doing under your sofa? Well, you know, the prosecutor probably would let you get off on this one if you just answer the questions he has about Mr. Trump. And here are the answers. That's what I have a feeling is happening to Mr. Pence, that they're putting him in the big squeeze to get him to testify against Donald Trump. But that might just be because I'm cynical. Well, I'm with you, Rick. I look both ways in a roundabout nowadays. I mean, I'm just that careful now.

Well, talking more about the Chinese balloon situation, everything, apparently, they have a whole fleet of these balloons. This is the London Times reporting on this. This Chinese spy balloon was part of a surveillance fleet, the U.S. was saying. The Chinese spy balloon shot down by a U.S. fighter jet was bristling with antenna designed

for intelligence surveillance, the State Department in Washington said. The balloon, which flew over the U.S. at 62,000 feet, was one of a fleet of similar surveillance platforms sent by China to spy on more than 40 countries across five continents. But the Pentagon just knows about it now. Right. So all were capable of collecting communication signals over sensitive military sites, the State Department said. But they just discovered it now. The balloons

have already made their flights. And now the Pentagon says, we've figured it out. I guess the balloons left trails in the atmosphere. Well, they've left trails of some kind here within the Defense Department because a senior U.S. defense source told the London Times that an urgent investigation of earlier Chinese balloon missions, earlier ones, Rick,

had uncovered evidence of 10 previous spying operations from similar platforms over North, South, and Central America in recent years. Three of them, during the Trump administration, got to throw that in, had penetrated U.S. airspace but had not been detected, the source said. What's the urgent investigation of something that flew, a balloon that flew years ago?

How do you trace it? They've got to have a way. They've got this super technology, Doc, this time machine. They can go back in time. And find balloons. And find balloons. They just can't see them in the present time. No, they have to go back in time.

Well, the U.S. defense force said NORAD had determined that the balloon was not weaponized and therefore posed no military hostile intent. How did they know that? However, once it entered U.S. airspace, secret jamming systems were used to prevent it from sending data to China, especially when it was flying over the nuclear bases. The source said the jamming systems were classified. But today, Friday, we're told they blew it up.

They blew up another one. The moment it got near Alaska. But this one... Hey, it took a trip across the U.S. The entire U.S. But hey, don't worry. We were jamming it the whole way. Right.

It wasn't sending data back or anything like that. My involved seriousness, I believe that the Chinese own American generals. I said it and I believe it. I believe the Chinese Communist Party has bought off Pentagon generals. And it's not beyond the realm of possibility. We do it to foreign nations. We've done it before. We're doing it now. That's right.

You need to think seriously about this, that the Chinese penetration of the American government has reached into the Pentagon and that there are U.S. generals in uniform who had been bought off by the Chinese Communist Party. We're in a lot of trouble. They've also bought off people

in the FBI and the fbi and the justice department and the news media and we could have a long list and obviously at the top of the food chain the president of the united states joe biden clearly owned by the chinese communists so um another thing that went off on friday the U.S. launched an unarmed ICBM into the Pacific Ocean. And apparently this occurred last night. Now, you've got to know that the Chinese and the Russians, when they shot this off, they probably had first thoughts, what's going on here? This missile test comes days after North Korea organized a parade

displaying their own ICBM launchers. It was shooting down a balloon. We use an ICBM to pop a balloon. Now, we're going to step it up here on World War III. This is the London Telegraph. Russia prepares 2,000 tanks and 300,000 troops for a huge invasion in donbass and it says russia has prepared almost 2 000 tanks and 300 300 000 soldiers for a renewed offensive to seize

ukraine's eastern donbass region in the coming weeks a ukrainian intelligence officer has warned so when i first read this you know you have to look at this and go okay this information is coming from the ukrainian intelligence agency via now and then is it accurate is it accurate or is it a ploy for more free weapons and money are they are is zielinski you know is he holding his hand out one more time saying, I need jets, I need bombs, I need bullets? But I'm going to tell you why I think this may be accurate. We'll go ahead and read some more of the telegraph. Well, the attack is expected to be bolstered by thousands of more armored vehicles, artillery systems, as well as hundreds of fighter jets and helicopters.

We expect in the next 10 days a new huge invasion. And this has come from a Ukrainian military official speaking to the Foreign Policy News website. Ukrainian military intelligence believes that Russia has now more than 300,000 troops inside the country, almost double the amount that were amassed on its borders before the start of the war, the official said. Now, the Russian military has also prepared 1,800 tanks, 3,950 armored vehicles, 2,700 artillery systems, 810 Soviet-era multi-launch rocket systems, 400 fighter jets, and 300 helicopters for the fresh offensive, according to estimates made by Kiev. Those numbers are pretty, you know, pretty specific, Rick. Yes, and if that's accurate, this is a major invasion. Now, February 24th, is that the date, February 24th, is the anniversary, the one-year anniversary

of the start of the Russia-Ukraine war. So that's coming up very soon. And what the Ukrainian intelligence agency agent is insinuating here is that Vladimir Putin is going to launch this second wave invasion on the anniversary of the first invasion. So again, when I first saw it, I had to wonder, is this propaganda or is it accurate? And then I found this story on a Russian news site, Novasti News Service, on Friday. Putin will read out a message to the Russian Federal Assembly on February 21st. So he is going to make a major address to the parliament, the Congress of the Russian government on February 21st. That's just three days before the anniversary on the 24th. My first thought was he's going to ask the Federal Assembly to declare war on Ukraine.

Now, for our audience here, they're not officially at war with Ukraine. This is a special military operation. And they've been very careful. Because there's a legal reason. Yes. But I think he's going to ask the Russian parliament to declare war. And things go to a different level at that point once one nation declares war on another nation, because now Ukraine is going to have to respond by declaring war on Russia.

And then the rest of Europe, NATO in particular, is going to have to decide. Are they in this war? Are they in? Because it's no longer a military skirmish. It's a war. And if NATO nations continue to send weapons, then Russia is going to say, you are partners in this war against Russia. So I think it's going to get very serious in the coming days. The next one I want to show you is this is London Times.

Ukraine prepared to use British missiles to strike Crimea. So this is a scary story here, Rick. Ukraine is prepared to use British long-range missiles to hit Crimea, the peninsula annexed by Russia in 2014, in a potential major escalation of Western involvement in the war. Grishy Sunak promised to send Ukraine more military aid following a visit by President Zelensky to Britain this week. Discussions are now taking place on over whether this should include harpoon anti-ship missiles or air-to-surface storm shadows. Ukrainian defense sources confirmed to

the Times that Kiev would be prepared to use the missiles to strike Crimea following a warning from Zelensky that longer-range weapons from Western allies would strike deep into the occupied territories. Now, the harpoon missiles themselves cost about 1.2 million pounds each and have a maximum range of 150 miles. The Storm Shadow System missiles cost about 2.2 million pounds and can fire at targets as far as 350 miles away, although modified versions for export have a significantly shorter range. Now, talks are now taking place to decide exactly how many British long-range missiles could be sent, despite previous concerns that enabling Ukraine to launch cross-border strikes on Russia could escalate the conflict. Do you think? Why not just give them all of them?

Why not just give them all your missiles? They're going in that direction, Doc. They're definitely headed in that direction. This is World War III, and this is why every single person, especially living in a Western nation, you absolutely must make sure spiritually that your life is in order with God. And you need to speak to everyone that you love, your family members, your friends, and just be honest with them and say, I know you're not hearing this on the news, but we're really close to World War III, and I'm concerned about your spiritual condition are you saved if you died instantly will your soul be in the presence of

god or will you be separated from god for eternity you've got to ask people these questions because this could happen at any day a few days ago the russian uh embassy or the foreign I think it was maybe the Foreign Affairs Ministry, said in a statement that if Great Britain supplies jets to Ukraine, Russia would give Great Britain a bloody response. Not Ukraine. Great Britain. A bloody response. I would say right now, if I had to guess, if there is a Western city that's going to disappear in this war this year, I would say it's London. Before Washington or Paris or Berlin, I would say it's London. I believe the Brits have been running this war on behalf of Ukraine from the very beginning. This is a King Charles III operation. He's the man behind the war.

It's King Charles that's running this war. And I believe the Russians know it. And I believe they've sent out messages. They've talked about the Anglo-Saxons. Several times. Yes. And they said the Anglo-Saxons blew up their bridge. The Crimea bridge. Right. So I think it's going to be London that's going to be targeted. What's going to happen if you one day

just hear that London or the entire British Isles has disappeared? The world changes, instantly changes. We'll never go back to what we knew. A new world order, a new system, new everything changes. We'll be in a state of military martial law immediately. Everything will change.

I want to show you, this is Dmitry Medvedev. This is his latest post. And he said, old man Biden seems to be going for a second term. What marked on the first confuses names, names, dates, and gets lost in his own office. Number two, keeps secret documents in the garage of his personal home. Dmitry Medvedev has become very pointed and sharp and sarcastic in his messages in the past three months. He uses some names for us that are not polite. Next story, Interfax, Russia to voluntarily cut off oil production by 500 barrels per day starting in March. A week or two ago, some of the big banks in America were making forecasts that there would be sharp increase in oil prices this spring. Well, there is the first example of it. Next one I want to get into, we only have two minutes remaining.

Fox News reported purported FBI documents suggest the agency may be targeting Catholics who attend Latin Mass. Now, this is a very interesting story, Rick. Former FBI special agent and federal whistleblower Kyle Serafin reportedly obtained a leaked FBI document that outlines a plan to spy on a segment of one of America's biggest religious denominations. The FBI's Richmond division would like to protect Virginians from the threat of white supremacy, which it believes has found a home within Catholics who prefer the Latin mass, Sarah Finn reported for Uncover DC.

Hey, so, Doug, this is another smear piece from the Southern Poverty Law Center, a Zionist-funded left-wing think tank. Its primary mission is to smear conservatives, Christians, patriots. And they definitely have an inside track in the FBI. And so they published this document. We have a picture of the document. It's number 41. This is an actual screenshot of the document from the FBI targeting conservative Catholics who prefer Latin mass.

It also talks about rosary beads. So you got to watch out for those Catholic women who are clinging to rosary beads because they- Calling it an extremist symbol. Yes. They could be domestic terrorists plotting to blow up an abortion clinic or something like that. The FBI needs to be shut down. It is out of control. It needs to be abolished and a new federal law enforcement agency created. The FBI is nothing but the American KGB and it is out of control.

number three, expect a miracle. Well, the Holy Bible contains wonderful stories in both the old covenant and the new covenant ages of God providing miracle supplies for his people. Our lesson today comes from the fourth chapter of 2 Kings, and I want Dr. Raymond Burkhart to read 2 Kings 4, verses 1-7. Rick, this really is a tremendous passage of faith. Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant, my husband, is dead, and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord. And the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee?

Tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thy handmaid hath not anything in the house, save a pot of oil. Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbors, even empty vessels. Borrow not a few. And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee, upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all these, those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. So she went from him and shut the door upon her and her sons, and she, who brought the vessels to her, and she poured out. And it came to pass when the vessels were full that she said unto her son, bring me yet a vessel.

And he said unto her, there is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, go sell the oil, pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. That's found in 2 Kings chapter 4, verses 1 through 7. Amen. You know, Doc, you know this. There are pastors and church members and denominations that teach that miracles are over.

Yes. That we are no longer in the time of miracles. Yes, that God's power petered out when Peter petered out, basically. I don't know why they even bother to read these stories. What's the point of it? What are you learning from it? That God was faithful then, but he's not faithful now? God had power then, but he doesn't have power now? So, you know, and those pastors, those churches are good people.

I'm not saying that they're bad. For some reason, their religion gets in the way of their faith. Yes. And they don't believe God, either that he doesn't have the power or he doesn't have the will to do miracles today. I, for one, I believe that God is the same. He's the same today as he was yesterday, and he'll be the same tomorrow. He never changes. And he is a God of miracles.

If he was not a God of miracles, what's the point in having faith in him for anything? Right. And the greatest miracle is saving your soul. That's right. Would you not count that as a miracle? That is a miracle. But as he was in my life, it was a miracle. But is that the only miracle that he is limited to in your life? No, that's just the beginning of the miracles in your life. I've seen God do amazing things in my lifetime. And I know others that God has done amazing things in their life.

If he no longer does miracles, then what hope do we have? What do we have to believe in? In hard times, who do we go to? Why would you go to God if he's unable to do something for you? I mean, wouldn't you say that an answer to prayer is a miracle? They believe in prayer. They believe that God responds to prayer, but they don't believe in the miraculous that happens in the world today. Jesus Christ consistently taught on faith, saying you need

to have faith. Faith even as a grain of a mustard seed would do what?, saying you need to have faith. Faith even as a grain of a mustard seed would do what? You'd be able to move mountains with that kind of faith. And so there's, in the New Testament, it's a principle. So let's don't discount what's being taught in the Old Testament because it gives us the example for the new. And this story of the widow woman and Elisha is one of tremendous opportunity to teach on faith in very simple way that anybody can understand. Amen. So let's take a look at this. First of all, the Jewish historian Josephus, he believed that the husband of this widow was Obadiah.

The prophet Obadiah. The prophet Obadiah. That we have the whole book in the Old Testament. Now, it doesn't say so in the scriptures of 2 Kings. But again, Josephus, who was one of the most respected Jewish historians in history, he had reason to believe that this widow's husband who had passed away was Obadiah. And based on that, if he was Obadiah, that opens up a whole specter of speculation of what possibly could have happened here again it's not in the scripture but look at what she said one of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried to Elijah

your servant my husband is dead and you know you know that your servant feared the Lord. He was a godly man. Right. And the widow is saying to Elijah the prophet, my husband's dead and you know he was a godly man. He was a good man. He feared God. What Josephus proposed, that this being Obadiah, that Obadiah had borrowed money for the school of the prophets. Right. And that most likely he was in a habit of borrowing money and then paying it off. Right. So the school of the prophets would grow.

They would need working capital. Obadiah would borrow some money, pay it back. School would grow some more. He'd borrow some more money, pay it back. He just didn't expect to die one day. Right. That was the one thing that caught him off guard. Yeah, it wasn't in the plan.

And so he had not paid back the debt. Whoever it was, was a good man doc the fact that it says the wife said you know he was you know that he feared the lord right this man wasn't irresponsible with his money he wasn't reckless he wasn't down at the casino gambling with the money he wasn't down at the nightclub spending it on liquor. He wasn't buying fast cars or whatever with his money. He was a good man. He was a righteous man. And neither did the prophet Elisha condemn him for being in debt. You notice that too. There's no condemnation.

So obviously, Elisha recognized this is a tough situation, but this is a wonderful opportunity to show God's grace, mercy, and his miraculous power of provision in this particular situation. Things are going to happen in life. Maybe a hurricane comes through

your community, damages your house, and the cost to repair your house is more than the insurance will pay. You've got a problem, right? Is that, it's, things happen in life. That's right. But that's also an opportunity for God to provide his miraculous power in provision as well.

Amen. So she said, but a creditor, the bill collector, the banker, and this is most likely a private lender. Most likely he was going to a private lender who somebody that had some working capital loan out, make some money. And so this private lender has come to take my two sons as slaves. That's because in those days, according to the law of Moses, the creditor could force your family to be bond servants until the debt was paid off. Well, until the debt was paid off or Jubilee. Right.

Under Roman law, there was no release. There was no Jubilee. There was no release. But that's one of the things under Jewish law is that there was the opportunity to be released from that bondage. Like you said, either when the debt was paid off or when Jubilee came along.

So it wasn't a permanent situation. But the problem for her was right now she's a widow woman. Her two boys are supporting her, are taking care of her. If they're not in the house taking care of her, no one's taking care of her. That's right. But also if they're taken away, their lives are destroyed. Yes. They will never have a life.

They will be slaves to this, this lender. Notice what's this? What does the prophet, how does he respond? Does he, does he say, Hey, go down to the church. We've got a benevolence fund. We've got a pantry there. Go down to the welfare office and tell them your problems. No, that's not how he responded. No, he said, what shall I do for you? And then he says, tell me, what do you have in the house? So two questions there. First of all, what is it that you want and what do you got? I mean, that's pretty basic there. A lot of people don't even know what they want in their miracle.

That's the real problem. He was encouraging her to verbalize what she was seeking from God. Because a lot of people, whether they need a physical healing, financial, miracle, job, whatever it is, they never express it in clear words to God. It may be just,

God, help me, please help me. And God's saying, well, how do you want me to help you? The Lord will ask the same two questions. What do you want me to help you? The Lord will ask the same two questions. What do you want me to do and what do you have? Oh my, right there. I know some religious people just said, that's not true. Oh yes, it is. That's why it's in the Bible. Elijah was speaking on behalf of God. At that moment moment that's God speaking to that woman what do you want me to do? what do you have?

why would God ask a widow woman who was in debt and it wasn't her fault that she was in debt she's in dire straits they're going to take her two boys from her her husband's dead. Why would he say, hey, what do you got? Doesn't that seem cold?

Well, the religious folks would say, doesn't God already know what she has? Why would he even ask that question, Rick? But he wanted her to say it. He wanted her to recognize what she was in possession of to do what? God's going to always ask you and me, what do you have to give? What do you have? What do you have that I can work with?

God needs something in your possession to work with. And that's why when we give to the Lord, when we give an offering to a church or a ministry, God's miracle, his blessing is on that gift. That's right. It's on the gift. That's how he can cause something to happen into your life. If you don't give, he has nothing to touch. That's right.

He touches what you give. He touches what you have faith in. When you say, here, God, this is what I have. This is what I'm bringing to you. He touches what you have. And so God will always ask those two questions. What do you want me to do for you? And what do you have? Then what happened? Well, it goes on to say, she responded and said, thy handmaid has nothing except a pot of oil. Now, notice how she phrased that. I don't have anything.

I don't have anything at all except a pot of oil. So in many ways, she'd already kind of given up. She said, I don't have any. I have nothing. But I do have this pot of oil over here. Alright, now we're starting to work with something.

There's a little bit of opening there of her faith. And then he said, Go borrow the vessels abroad of all thy neighbors, even empty vessels, borrow not a few. Doc, she said, as you pointed out, your servant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.

And she was telling the truth. This is all I have. Not much. I got this jar of oil. And it wasn't much. On the surface, just looking at it in the natural realm, it wasn't much. I got this jar of oil and it wasn't much. On the surface, just looking at it in the natural realm, it wasn't much. What could she do with it? You know, the value of that one jar of oil was, the monetary value wasn't that much. It certainly wasn't enough to pay off the debt that her deceased husband left. God spoke through Elijah and asked,

what do you want me to do? Because God already knew what she needed. She needed to be set free of oppressive debt. That's right. And there are people watching us right now and you are trapped in oppressive debt. I have nothing. You have nothing.

Doc, I got to tell you. All right. I'm an aging baby boomer, so a different generation from a lot of people. And I know that young people today have student debt. Tremendous student debt. But I didn't, this is where I'm going with this, Doc. I know they had student debt, but if you were to ask me, what's the typical debt load on a student

after they graduate, honestly, I probably would have said, oh, 50,000 in the past week in the past week I have talked to two two young Christian men I know where you're going with this yes who confessed to me the debt

load that they're under and I'm guessing it's over $100,000. One was nearly $400,000. $400,000? Yes. Wow. For an education. For an education.

And the other one was nearly $200,000. And both of them said, Rick, my debt today is higher than it was when I graduated. I can't get out. The interest is eating me up. I've been paying on this for 10 years. I can't get free of the debt. It broke my heart to know that there are young people in this country who are carrying debt loads of $200,000, $300,000, $400,000.

Like if you're going to be a doctor or a lawyer or some profession where you have to go to a graduate school, you're carrying a debt load of $400,000, $500,000. Yes. And this is across an entire generation. Yes. I mean, especially millennials and the Gen Zers. I mean. They're starting life trapped in debt. We told them you have to get an education,

and to get an education costs money, and the money came in the form of loans, and then the loans became oppressive. And the system is rigged. It's rigged to suck the life out of these young people that they won't even get it paid off until they're nearly ready to retire. And then they've spent their entire lives

paying the creditor. It's a rigged system. Where am I going with this? I am aware that there are people watching right now, you're in debt, and you've been paying on the debt for years, and you're in worse shape now than you were when you first got in debt.

You're with the bondman there. Yes. And your heavenly father knows about it. And he's asking you two questions. What do you want me to do for you? And what do you have that I can work with? What's in your hand? What's in your possession that I can bless it

and cause a miracle to happen? So Rick, let's say there's somebody out here watching right now, and they've got this oppressive debt. I'm not talking about necessarily a household mortgage. Let's say student loans. Student loans, it seems like impossible to catch up on, impossible to pay off.

So if you were to ask a young person out there, when I say young, there are some people in their 30s and 40s dealing with this. What do you need? You need to verbalize this. You need to say, Lord, I need to take care of this student debt. I'm just using that for an example. But you need to, first of all, recognize the need is beyond yourself. There's nothing in you that can accomplish this. You need a miracle. You need a miracle from God. That's that first step of recognizing you have a need.

And then, as Rick said, what do you have? Well, what resources do you have available that you can give to God and say, use it? And that's maybe where you're at right now. When this woman said, all I have is this jar of oil, God was meeting her at her place of brokenness, her place of helplessness. She was saying, I've got a little jar. I'm not rich.

I got this little jar of oil. And that's all I've got. She felt hopeless. She had no way out. And God will meet you at that place. That's where he will meet you. His strength will meet your weakness. Oh, and he delights in it too.

Oh, you better believe it. He's looking for the opportunity. He's looking for the opportunity for you to say, I need help. He'll look for the weakest person who has the best faith. That's all you have to have. You can be weak, but just have faith and he'll meet you there and he'll do something. You know why? Because the weaker you are, the more glory he gets. And when people look at your situation, they go, I don't have any idea

how he got out of debt. I don't know how she paid off that bill. And you say, it was a miracle. It was God. Then they don't have any other explanation for it other than God came down and somehow did something for you. They might try to explain it away. It doesn't matter. They can't come up with a reasonable answer. That's where this woman was at. She didn't have any way out. And God said, just give me that little jar of oil and watch what I do. Doc, we only got five minutes. I know we're going to have to pick this up tomorrow and we got some other biblical lessons from 2 Kings. What happened next at this point?

Well, he said, he gave an instruction, all right? And the instruction was to go borrow vessels abroad of all thy neighbors, even empty vessels, borrow not a few. And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee, upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, thou shalt set aside that which is full. So that's the instruction that was given. Whenever you get into a situation where

you're looking for a miracle from God, God always gives you an instruction. He will always give you an instruction. He wants you to do something. Faith requires... Faith without works is dead. God requires something of you. He requires, if you will, a test to see if you're really believing him for a miracle in your particular situation, a miracle provision. Do a lot of people miss their miracle because they say, I believe? Yes. And then they sit and they wait for God to do something. And then they say nothing happened. Thinking they don't have to do anything in it. But you look at every example of miracles throughout the scripture. It's amazing.

You'll see that thread of instruction that goes through each and every one of them. Jesus said to the man with the withered hand, stretch out thy hand. That's right. The man who was blind, what do you want me to do? What do you want me to do for you? The guy's blind and heavy eyeballs. And Jesus is asking him, what do you want me to do for you? Make some eyes.

Yes. Okay. But Jesus wanted him to say it. Yes. And he gives you instruction to do something. So what does she do? Well, she obeyed the instruction. That's another critical component of believing God for your particular miracle.

It says in verse 5, She went from him, shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her, and she poured out. She followed the instruction that the prophet gave, and it came to pass. In other words, something started happening after she obeyed the instruction. So, Doc, when somebody is in need, you're in church, and the preacher, the pastor, the evangelist, the Bible teacher might not even know about your situation,

but he gives you an instruction in his sermon, in his lesson. He gives you an instruction, his sermon, in his lesson. He gives you an instruction and something in your spirit says, that was God speaking to me. It's up to you to obey that man of God. He spoke under the anointing, under the power of the Holy Spirit at that moment and gave you an instruction. God's saying to you, if you have faith, if you do this, I'm going to intervene in your situation. So she obeyed the man of God. Yeah. So she's doing everything she's supposed to. They filled up every vessel that they could. When they ran out of vessels, that was it. The oil stopped. But now I've got all this oil. She didn't know what to do with it. So she had to get yet another instruction from the man of God or really from

God. She came and told the man of God what had happened. I obeyed. This has happened. He said, go sell the oil and pay thy debt and live thou and thy children of the rest. And so there was a second instruction. And sometimes there's a series of instructions you have to follow for your miracle to come fully to pass. If she hadn't come back to the man of God with all the oil, she just had a bunch of borrowed vessels. And she was even further behind than she was. But she came back to the man of God and he gave the instruction, all right, this is where the miracle is.

Go and sell the oil. God put this widow woman in the oil business. Amen. And one thing here, we're down over about a minute and a half here. He said, go ask for vessels from all your neighbors. Get the whole community involved. Got all the brethren involved in this miracle. Then go in, shut the door behind you and your sons and pour the oil into all the vessels. Why did he tell the woman to go into her house,

shut the door? In other words, go inside and lock the door why so that the nosy neighbors wouldn't be sticking their faces in the windows and the doors and walking around saying what are you doing in here mainly the negative neighbors the negative neighbors saying that is crazy woman what are you doing your negative relatives your negative trash talking friends and, and coworkers. All right. They'll trash talk you right out of your miracle. That's right. If you let them do it, you got to shut the door in their face and say right now, I don't want to hear your mouth because God's doing a miracle for me. And you are not going to trash talk me and tell me that I can't have a miracle from God. I'm telling you right now, some of your relatives and your friends and your

coworkers and your church members are trash talkers and they have no faith in God at all. And they'll kill your miracle if you let them do it. Hey, come back tomorrow.
