President Trump and President Putin had a nearly two-hour conversation about ending the conflict in Ukraine, but did Israel end up the big winner in the talks? I'll have the latest in a few moments.
Starting point is 00:01:23 Yesterday afternoon, President Trump, on a tour announcing the refurbishment of the Kennedy Center in D.C., announced the impending release of the infamous JFK files. Let's watch. But while we're here, I thought it would be appropriate, we are tomorrow announcing and giving all of the Kennedy files. So people have been waiting for decades for this, and I've instructed my people that are responsible, lots of different people put together by Tulsi Gabbard,
Starting point is 00:02:04 and that's going to be released tomorrow. We have a tremendous amount of paper. You've got a lot of reading. I don't believe we're going to redact anything. I said, just don't redact. You can't redact. But we're going to be releasing the JFK files. And that would be tomorrow. Do you have anything else to add to that, Carol?
Starting point is 00:02:28 So that's a big announcement. They've been waiting for that for decades. Then I said during the campaign I'd do it and I'm a man of my word. So tomorrow you have the JFK files. What time will they be released? Tomorrow afternoon, okay. I've heard about them. Was there anything interesting?
Starting point is 00:02:46 It's going to be very interesting. Was there an executive summary supplied to you as president? No, I'm not doing summaries. You'll write your own summaries. It's many pages. Is it 80,000 pages? Approximately 80,000 pages. So it's a lot of stuff.

They have not been released yet What will we learn? I'm just gonna be honest with you likely nothing the decades of secrecy and redactions Suggests that whatever might have been truly revelatory was either removed long ago or is going to remain buried under layers of classified bureaucracy.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Government agencies have ample time to sanitize the record and if any explosive revelations were there, they would have already surfaced through leaks or investigative journalism by now. I really expect nothing substantial—no smoking gun, no definitive answer—that will change our understanding of the assassination. Instead, we will likely see a rehash of what we already know—documents that reinforce existing narratives that are out there, possibly heavily redacted pages, even though President Trump said no redactions, that will raise more questions than answers, and maybe a few tidbits that fuel speculation without actually delivering any conclusive evidence.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Of course, I'd love to be proven wrong. If something of real significance emerges, something that challenges the official story meaningfully, it would be an unexpected but a welcome surprise. But history tells me that official disclosures, especially ones tied to our country's national security, rarely reveal the full truth. And my opinion, of course, is based upon years of reading, especially reading Roger Stone's book, The Man Who Killed Kennedy. Now, it's interesting that Roger Stone posted this video today on his ex-account.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Let's watch. Kennedy was also fighting with the state of Israel. Israel was demanding to have nuclear weapons. Kennedy was opposed to their having nuclear weapons. After the murder of John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson agreed to Israel's having the nuclear bomb. Another factor in all of this. Well, let's watch to see if anything really comes of this release later today. Starting point is 00:05:35 in Ukraine. Now, the primary objective was to negotiate a 30-day unconditional ceasefire, a proposal previously accepted by Ukraine but met with reservations from Russia. We have this report from the Wall Street Journal. The headline there, Trump and Putin Speak with Ukraine Ceasefire Hopes at Stake. During the call, which lasted over two hours, President Putin agreed to halt attack on Ukraine's energy and infrastructure sectors for 30 days. However,
Starting point is 00:06:07 he declined to commit to a full ceasefire without additional concessions from Ukraine, including a halt to military rearmament. Both leaders consented to initiate technical negotiations aimed at implementing a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea and working towards a comprehensive peace agreement. Now the White House characterized the discussion as constructive noting that while the limited ceasefire is a positive development efforts toward a complete cessation of hostilities are going to continue. Now this conversation really marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing efforts to resolve the Ukraine conflict with both nations showing a willingness to engage in dialogue, albeit with differing expectations and conditions.
Starting point is 00:06:55 We have the official statement from the White House regarding the conversation here. I'll read it to you. Today, President Trump and President Putin spoke about the need for peace and a ceasefire in the Ukraine War. Both leaders agreed this conflict needs to end with a lasting peace. They also stressed the need for improved bilateral relations between the United States and Russia. The blood and treasure that both Ukraine and Russia have been spending in this war would be better spent on the needs of their people.
Starting point is 00:07:29 This conflict should never have started and should have been ended long ago with sincere and good faith peace efforts. The leaders agreed that the movement to peace will begin with an energy and infrastructure ceasefire as well as technical negotiations on the implementation of a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea. Full ceasefire and permanent peace. These negotiations will begin immediately in the Middle East. The second part of the White House statement is one that I really want you to pay attention
Starting point is 00:08:02 to because there's information in the second part here that you really, really need to know about. It goes on to say, in that statement, the leader spoke broadly about the Middle East as a region of potential cooperation to prevent future conflicts. Mind you, this was a conversation about Ukraine. They further discussed the need to stop proliferation of strategic weapons and will engage with others to ensure the broadest possible application. The two leaders shared the view that Iran should never be in a position to destroy Israel. The two leaders agreed that a future with an improved bilateral relationship between
Starting point is 00:08:53 the United States and Russia has a huge upside. This includes enormous economic deals and geopolitical stability when peace has been achieved. So we'll keep that second half of the statement on the screen here for just a few moments. Of course, Rick has said repeatedly here on True News that we are in a new alignment here in the world. In fact, you could call it the great powers world order. We've moved beyond the liberal New World Order that's been in existence for the past 80 years,
Starting point is 00:09:30 and now we have moved into what is, maybe one day will be called the Great Powers World Order, because in that last statement there, in the last paragraph of the White House statement, it's very clear to anyone reading that, that the U.S. and Russia are forging ahead with economic, industrial, manufacturing, technology deals that are going to propel both nations into the future. Now, of course, there's going to be detractors to that, and there's going to be people who
Starting point is 00:10:02 are going to try to interfere with that. But it is obvious that Russia and the United States, with the leadership of President Putin of Russia and President Trump of the United States, are forging ahead with a brand new world order, one that is dominated by a working relationship between the United States and the Federation of Russia. So that's where we're at right now. There's more information coming out here throughout the afternoon. I won't belabor that, but the statement that I really want you to think about here, and we'll comment on it more here in just a few moments moments is this conversation regarding Iran and Israel.
Starting point is 00:10:49 In the statement, it said that they agreed that Iran should not have a proliferation of weapons in order to destroy Israel. Did Israel just win the Ukraine war? That's an honest question here. Because it appears, as a result of this statement, that the United States and Russia now have a working conversation, a working relationship together to protect the nation of Israel. Let that sink in for a little bit. That's what came up in the conversation about Ukraine today. We're going to have more information on this as this story develops throughout
Starting point is 00:11:32 the day and throughout the remainder of the week as well. Now, there was a special conference that's going on in Europe right now, and Alexander Dugan was there and he was interviewed by CNN and was asked a question specifically about the relationship between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. He basically said that this is, you know, they are closer ideologically than they are within their own countries
Starting point is 00:12:06 sometimes alexander dougan has a new book out called the trump revolution where he talks a great deal about that but here's a sound bite the cnn captured with alexander dougan who's often been called putin's brain watch this so uh... there's a lot of people in the west who
Starting point is 00:12:24 believe in fear that President Trump is closer ideologically and politically to Vladimir Putin than he is to his Western allies. What do you think? Yes, it's so. I agree. That is obvious. He is much more conservative.
Starting point is 00:12:38 He is in favor of traditional values. He is in favor of the patriotism of the nation. And I define that as the great powers world order. Putin and Trump coincide in accepting this model instead of liberal globalism. That was Russian philosopher Alexander Duggan making comments about President Trump and President Putin and how close they are ideologically. And that is further elaborated in the White House statement that we just reviewed here a few moments ago.
Starting point is 00:13:15 We'll have more updates on this story throughout the remainder of the week, so stay tuned here to True News as we follow. Of course, Israel was mentioned in that statement, and what's happened in Israel? Well, the ceasefire has ceased. The ceasefire is over as Israel has issued strikes in Gaza after Hamas refused to release hostages, officials say. Officially the ceasefire is over between Israel and Hamas as Israeli fighter jets began striking the Gaza Strip after Hamas refused repeated hostage deal offers. The reports are at least 404 Palestinians including women and children were killed in the most
Starting point is 00:13:55 recent airstrikes according to the Hamas run Gaza Health Ministry. The death toll has not been independently verified. IDF forces began striking Hamas terrorist targets across Gaza in order to achieve the war objectives set by the political leadership, including the release of all of our hostages, both the living and the fallen, the Office of Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a letter. Now the decision comes after Hamas repeatedly refused to release our hostages and rejected all proposals presented by the U.S. President's envoy, Steve Witkoff, as well as the mediators,
Starting point is 00:14:34 the letter says. So there's a new conflict that's sparking up in Gaza and the Middle East. There have also been strikes in Lebanon today as well. They have this article out of the Times of Israel today. There's a group of people who aren't very happy about this recent escalation in violence, and that's the hostage families. You see the headline there, hostage families warned resumption of hostilities in Gaza is killing the captives.
Starting point is 00:15:05 The hostages and missing families forum on Tuesday sounded a desperate plea for the lives of their loved ones after Israel launched that deadly surprise attack in the Gaza Strip, ending the ceasefire and hostage release deal with Hamas. The forum slammed the government's decision to sacrifice 59 captives left in Gaza alive and dead and called on the public to join an emergency protest outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office in Jerusalem as the premier huddles with security chiefs about the resumption of activities. There is nothing more urgent, the forum said, adding that military pressure will lead to
Starting point is 00:15:44 the killing of living hostages and the disappearance of the fallen. As sad as it is for me to say this, it's unlikely that any more hostages will be released at this point because I believe moving forward you're going to see an escalation in violence, an escalation in strikes, with coordination with the United States in dealing with the forces in Yemen and any possible retaliation from Iran over the next few days. And we'll be closely monitoring this story because it's likely. Now that things are winding down with Ukraine,
Starting point is 00:16:21 we've got to keep the war machine busy. And we're going to shift gears and move it to the Middle East now. That's going to be the next area of activity for us. Well, coming back here to the United States, looking at domestic news stories, of course, big story over the past couple of days is the conflict between President Trump's attempts to transport illegal aliens out of the country and the judiciary fighting it every step of the way. This is CBS News reporting this here late yesterday. Judge demands to know why Donald Trump and his administration ignored the order about redirecting
Starting point is 00:17:01 deportation flights. So a federal judge admonished the Justice Department late Monday for dissipating his order to turn around two planes en route to El Salvador that were allegedly taking Trin de Arragua gang members. He also demanded explanations about removal flights ordered since President Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act. Now during a hearing on the Trump administration's compliance with his order, D.C. District Chief Judge James Boesberg demanded answers by Tuesday at noon today to clarify what occurred over the weekend, both before and after he blocked the government's removal flights. He asked the government whether additional planes had left the US with Trinidad and Ragua gang members, and he wants a timeline showing when the flights took off from the US and
Starting point is 00:17:54 landed in El Salvador in account of remaining members of the gang in the US Custodian. Of course, Donald Trump is not sitting idly by in response to this. President Trump calls for a judge in deportation legal battle to be impeached. President Donald Trump called for the impeachment of the judge in a true social post earlier today, apparently referring to U.S. District Judge James Boesberg's decision to block deportation flights to El Salvador. President Trump had this on True Social earlier today. He said, This radical left lunatic of a judge, a troublemaker, an agitator, who was sadly
Starting point is 00:18:38 appointed by Barack Hussein Obama was non-elected president. He didn't win the popular vote, by a lot. He didn't win all seven swing states. He didn't win 2,750 to 525 counties. He didn't win anything. I won for many reasons in an overwhelming mandate, but fighting illegal immigration may have been the number one reason for this historic victory. I'm just doing what the voters wanted me to do.
Starting point is 00:19:07 This judge, like many of the crooked judges I am forced to appear before, should be impeached. We don't want vicious, violent, and demented criminals, many of them deranged murderers in our country. Let's make America great again." And that was President Trump on True Social earlier today, announcing his desire to see Let's make America great again. To make things even more interesting, Judge Roberts of the Supreme Court has entered into the chat. Chief Justice John Roberts rebukes President Trump for saying judge who blocked deportation
Starting point is 00:19:52 flights should be impeached. He said it's not an appropriate response. Supreme Court Justice John Roberts scolded President Trump Tuesday for demanding that a federal judge, who blocked the swift deportation of Venezuelan gang members, be impeached. In a very rare direct response to a presidential statement, Justice Roberts responded to President Trump's morning comments toward Chief D.C. U.S. District Judge James Boasberg saying, for more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision.
Starting point is 00:20:35 I think it's a bit ironic for a judge to say that judges shouldn't be impeached, okay? But that's just my observation there. Just because it's not been done that often in the past, justices have been impeached in the past for any variety of reasons, including moral character and decisions that they've made. So while I may not be a fan of doing that route, it is an option that the president has at his disposal
Starting point is 00:21:06 to make the statement. Now whether or not anyone takes up the cause of impeachment, that's going to be the question that Congress will have to deal with. But this is very interesting that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Roberts, coming out in this statement, basically in opposition to Donald Trump on this impeachment. He could have sat this out and just let it float on out there. But Justice Roberts took up the cause
Starting point is 00:21:35 against impeachment of Justice Boasberg. And we'll have more information as this further develops here as well. Now, getting back to the story that generated all this kerfuffle is the gang members that had been exported out of this country. ABC News is reporting many of the alleged gang members. Now, remember, this is a very biased report by ABC News.
Starting point is 00:22:01 Many alleged gang members deported by Trump didn't have criminal records in the US. Okay? So if you read that headline, if you read that headline what's the interpretation that you immediately have? Well these guys didn't do anything wrong. They didn't even have criminal records. They, you know, they've never been in trouble before. They're just good boys that got picked up by ICE and put on a plane against their will and shipped to an El Salvador prison. That's what they want you to think. That's what they want you to believe.
Starting point is 00:22:36 But thank goodness you watch and listen to true news, and you're much smarter than that. Many of—now listen to how they phrase this. ABC News says this. Many of the non-citizens who were deported pursuant to the Alien Enemies Act on Saturday did not have criminal records, an immigration and customs enforcement official said in a sworn filing overnight. Now notice how they phrase that.
Starting point is 00:23:02 Many of the non-citizens. They didn't call them illegal aliens, which is what they were. They were illegal criminals who had violated the borders of the United States. No, ABC News calls them non-citizens. And then it goes on to say, well, they didn't even have criminal records. So in a sworn declaration, ICE Acting Field Office Director of Enforcement and Removal Operations, Robert Cerna, argued that the lack of specific information about each individual actually highlights the risk they pose and demonstrates that they are terrorists
Starting point is 00:23:38 with regard to whom we lack a complete profile. Let's keep that up for just a moment. So the ICE acting field office director responded back to this report by saying their lack of a criminal record actually is more proof of their potential for terrorist activities in the United States. But the propaganda headline and the propaganda paragraph was saying something completely different, meant to mislead. This declaration was included in the Trump administration's recent motion to vacate Judge James Boesberg's temporary restraining order blocking deportations pursuant to the Alien Enemies Act.
Starting point is 00:24:22 It goes on to say, while it is true that many of the Trinidad and Aragonese gang members removed under the Alien Enemies Act do not have criminal records in the United States, that is because they have only been in the United States for a short period of time. The lack of a criminal record does not include does not indicate they pose a limited threat, Cerna said. In actuality, he's making the argument they pose an even greater threat because they're here illegally and we know absolutely nothing about them and about their intentions. Folks, it pays to watch true news and to listen to true news because we cut through the propaganda and we look for the truth that's in the news.
Starting point is 00:25:11 An interesting development here as it relates especially to the current border situation here in the United States is the use of the American military in order to reinforce what the border agents and DHS are already doing. Most recent development announced yesterday is this story from USNI News. The USS Gravely deploys to US Northern Command with Coast Guard detachment. This article isn't getting a lot of play anywhere, but there is something significant in this, that something has significantly changed here in our attitude toward what's happening on
Starting point is 00:25:53 specifically our southern border. Guided missile destroyer USS Graveley that you see pictured here left Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, Virginia Saturday for deployment to the U.S. Northern Command. The warship embarked with a Coast Guard law enforcement detachment that will patrol U.S. and international waters, Navy officials confirmed to USN9 News. Where? We'll get to that in just a moment.
Starting point is 00:26:21 According to a Navy press release, the Gravely is heading to the waters off the Gulf Coast as part of the military's response to President Trump's executive order and national emergency declaration to secure the U.S. border. In support of the U.S. Northern Command's mission to restore territorial integrity at the U.S. southern border, gravely reinforces the nation's commitment to border security by enhancing maritime efforts and supporting interagency collaboration," reads the release. The ship's deployment highlights the Department of Defense and Navy's dedication to national security priorities, contributing to a coordinated and robust response to combating maritime-related
Starting point is 00:27:12 terrorism, weapons proliferation, transnational crime, piracy, environmental destruction, and illegal seaborne immigration. I will remind you what the Gravely is. It is a guided missile destroyer. It's not just another ship of the line. A guided missile destroyer is intended to hit targets both maritime and on land. Are they anticipating an exponential increase in violence and attacks in the Gulf of America and at the US southern border.
Starting point is 00:28:05 I believe that is the case here. That is why they are parking a guided missile destroyer in the Gulf right now. The ship will operate mainly in North Com's area of response in the waters around Florida, Alabama and Louisiana. That's coming from US Fleet Forces Commander Admiral Darrell Caudill speaking to reporters. This could be a big escalation here as the US government and the Trump administration anticipate maybe an escalation of activities, especially with cartels at our southern border. Now in a story that broke late yesterday and was generated by several independent reporters
Starting point is 00:28:53 over the weekend, in particular Laura Loomer, who broke the story late Friday, early Saturday, comes this report from CBS News that President Trump has revoked the Secret Service protection for both Hunter Biden and Ashley Biden. President Trump on Monday said he was revoking Secret Service protection for former President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, effective immediately. Biden's daughter Ashley Biden will also lose her Secret Service detail, Mr. Trump said. Hunter Biden has had Secret Service protection for an extended period of time, all paid for by the United States taxpayer.
Starting point is 00:29:37 There are as many as 18 people on this detail, which is ridiculous, Mr. Trump wrote, noting that the former president's son was vacationing currently in South Africa, where his wife is from. Likewise, Ashley Biden, who has 13 agents, will be taken off the list. Secret Service Chief of Communications Anthony Guglielmi said the agency was aware of the president's decision to terminate protection for Hunter and Biden. The Secret Service will comply and is actively working with the protective details in the White House to ensure compliance as soon as possible.
Starting point is 00:30:16 Secret Service protection for a president's family typically ends when that leader departs the White House, while former presidents and spouses continue to receive Secret Service protection for the rest of their lives. But according to multiple sources familiar with the protective agreement, President Biden extended protection for his adult children through July via executive order. Once again, this story was brought to light over the weekend by Laura Loomer, who actually exposed this information, and it took several days for it to reach the level of Donald Trump's attention. It didn't come to his attention until he was doing the presser at the Kennedy Center yesterday, and a reporter asked him about it.
Starting point is 00:31:06 And within an hour, he had that statement about the Secret Service protection being taken off both Hunter and Ashley Biden. So in continuing domestic information, the Democratic left, the communist left continues to spiral out of control with their what I'm calling Tesla terrorism. And we see this headline from the New York Post. Hapilus anti-Musk activist sets himself on fire after attacking South Carolina at Tesla charging station with Molotov cocktails. So, and I like the way the New York Post wrote this, so I'm just gonna read the way they wrote it. A hapless arsonist who tried to burn down a Tesla charging station in protest at
Starting point is 00:31:57 President Trump and Elon Musk, ended up setting himself on fire, according to authorities. Daniel Clark Pounder burned down three EV chargers in a South Carolina parking lot Friday where he scrawled in expletive regarding Donald Trump and long live the Ukraine, according to federal prosecutors. He was seen throwing five Molotov cocktails, one of which left him on fire, according to witnesses who saw him fleeing the North Charleston lot.
Starting point is 00:32:29 Clark Pounder, a mechanic from James Island, was arrested later on Friday after the police issued a public appeal to help find him. It was not clear how badly hurt he'd been by the fire. The article goes on to say, while we will defend the public's right to peaceful protests, we will not hesitate to act when protests crosses the line into violence and mayhem. That's according to acting U.S. Attorney, Brooke B. Andrews, in a statement. These kind of attacks have no place in our community. We must remain united in our commitment to safety and respect for all,
Starting point is 00:33:01 regardless of political differences. The irony was not lost on me that an environmental activist used a bottle full of gasoline to burn down an EV charging station. So that was my observation out of it. This Tesla terrorism has been now going on for several weeks. All Tesla does is make electric cars. That's it. That's the only thing they do. They haven't been fighting in Ukraine or not fighting in Ukraine. They haven't been making policy. They haven't been part of DOGE.
Starting point is 00:33:37 But, yeah, let's burn up a Tesla car or charging station. And it's not limited to the East Coast. Several of these, in fact, earlier today, another attack on Tesla, another Tesla terrorism attack, this time in Las Vegas very early this morning. This is from the Las Vegas Review Journal. Several vehicles set on fire at Tesla in Las Vegas, police say. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department
Starting point is 00:34:11 is investigating after an individual is believed to have set several vehicles on fire at a Tesla service center in Las Vegas. According to police, the incident occurred about 2.45 local time in the Tesla Collision Center located on West Bedura Avenue. Communications received information that an individual had set several vehicles on fire in the parking lot and caused damage to the property, the department said in an email. So this is the weaponization of the communist left here in this country.
Starting point is 00:34:50 They can't win an argument, so they burn things down. That's always the end of their argument for them. If they can't win logically or in a conversation, they'll just set you on fire, or set your car on fire, or set whatever you imagine on fire. They just love to burn it down. Well, that's just me. All right, shifting gears here a little bit.
Starting point is 00:35:13 Rick and I yesterday talked a little bit about the recent installation of another banker to the globalist community, Mark Carney. Mark Carney has been main prime minister, even though he's not a member of the Canadian Parliament and all. And now he is on his European tour visiting all the fancy places in Europe, making friends and going and kissing King Charles' ring and
Starting point is 00:35:40 doing everything he can to cozy up to Europe. Now if you recall we played a little clip yesterday about Mark Carney calling Canada the most European of non-European countries. I want to play that again for you. With you, Mr. President, I want to ensure that France and the whole of Europe
Starting point is 00:36:01 works enthusiastically with Canada, the most European of non-European countries. All right. I want you to keep that in your mind as we talk about this a little bit, because what I have seen is that the purpose of Mark Carney here is to shift Canada and push Canada toward an alliance with the EU. And this, of course, is in response to Donald Trump and to his efforts in calling Canada the 51st state, which resulted in the expulsion of Governor Trudeau, as Donald Trump liked
Starting point is 00:36:41 to say. So now, the globalists out there are starting to fight back by installing their guy, Mark Carney, former head of the Bank of England, former head of the Bank of Canada, a banker. He used to work for Goldman Sachs for years, rich beyond you can imagine, and yet now he's the prime minister minister yet never elected Not one single Canadian voted for Mark Carney not a single one Just the party voted for Mark Carney See this headline this from the Western Standard look at this
Starting point is 00:37:22 Now you got to take this with a grain of salt here today, folks. It says, half of Canadians favor joining the EU. Mark Carney says, Canada is the most European of non-European countries. Now you begin to see this propaganda leaking out here. What is the push? What is the call? Well, rather than Canada aligning with the U.S., let's have Canada align with Europe. We have this clip of Mark Carney speaking with Emmanuel Macron, extolling the virtues of
Starting point is 00:37:59 the European influence on Canada. Watch this. We're in Canada House, which is marking its 100th anniversary. So, but a fraction of that. And I'm reminded of it because of course, it looks out on Nelson's column. And you can find another column dedicated to Nelson in Place Jacques Cartier, Amoyat. And the flag that flies over that column, in Place Jacques Cartier, Montréal. And the flag that flies over that column
Starting point is 00:38:33 includes the Fleur de Lille for France, the Shamrock for Ireland, the thistle for Scotland, the rose for England, and the white pine for the peuple octocton to Canada. That is an example of the diversity of Canada, the wonder of Canada is built off of that diversity. And it's through that and through those values that we have built our country. It is on those values that we will make our decisions and build our relationships in this world.
Starting point is 00:39:03 So you see that Canada has a new script with their new Prime Minister, Mark Carney, and that is now the globalist script. And that is we are going to align ourselves with Europe rather than America. We can debate the virtues and the drawbacks about this, but it's obvious now to see where this is headed. That there's going to be attempt at least by the European globalists to bring Canada more firmly into their fold in opposition to the United States. Now when we started this
Starting point is 00:39:38 segment on Mark Carney, I played the clip about Canada being the most European of the non-European nations. But actually, there's more information about that particular statement if you play it in fuller context. I have the longer clip here. Starting point is 00:40:28 with Canada, the most European of non-European countries, determined like you to maintain the most positive possible relations with the United States. Canada is a reliable, trustworthy and strong partner of France which shares our values and lives them through action during this age of economic and geopolitical crises. Now, a couple things I'd like to point out to you in that particular exchange by Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada is that you saw that he emphasized the sovereignty of Canada, clearly making a statement to the U.S. and to President Trump that there will be no kind of addition of Canada as a US state, making it very clear.
Starting point is 00:41:14 Did you notice that little glowing remark he made toward Emmanuel Macron? Under your leadership, moving forward, as if acknowledging that Emmanuel Macron is the leader of Europe. Not necessarily the European Union, but the de facto leader of Europe. He is the one that's speaking for Europe now, and he is the one that everyone is pledging their allegiance to. It shouldn't surprise you, they're both former bankers, right? McCrone for the Rothschilds and Carney for Goldman Sachs and the central banks of Europe
Starting point is 00:41:57 and Canada. Now, yesterday I made a remark to Rick and several people emailed me, kind of upset with me, that I made this statement without backing anything up. And that is I made a statement yesterday about this new alignment with Canada and Europe just kind of talking about just briefly. And I said, you know that there is a French nuclear
Starting point is 00:42:24 submarine that's parked off the coast of Nova Scotia. And I had several people email me and message me and say, where did you get that story? Where did that come from? That there's a French nuclear submarine parked off the coast of Canada, in particular off the coast of Nova Scotia. Well, ladies and gentlemen, no less than CBC News of Canada is reporting on this and making just a nonchalant report that we have another nation's nuclear submarine within striking
Starting point is 00:42:56 distance of the United States. Let's watch this report from CBC News. Behind me is the SSN Torville, which is a French nuclear attack submarine. The submarine is in Halifax following its first sail across the Atlantic. They are currently trying to verify its military capabilities, which includes doing tests in cold waters. We have to test the runderons and check if everything is okay for the next military operations. The mission began in the very beginning of January and with ends at the middle of April and we went to the Labrador Sea to test the submarine in very cold water.
Starting point is 00:43:43 The crew is composed of 65-70 people. The submarine displacement is 5200 tons, which is twice more than our old class. The submarine has been constructed to be discrete, so we can detect other submarines without being counter detected. So we have a big advantage. We want to improve interoperability. So mostly with the Royal Canadian Air Force because we are working on anti-submarine warfare and the submarine will benefit from it. And for the Royal Canadian Navy it's an opportunity to see what does it mean to have a brand new
Starting point is 00:44:25 submarine. Next is the exercise will proceed with Canadian Navy and Canadian Air Force because we'll proceed to exercises at the beginning of the next week with winching helicopter procedures and an exercise where the helicopter and my time patrol aircraft will try to detect the submarine. We were told that the submarine will be in commission in a few months. So there is a French nuclear submarine parked in Halifax Nova Scotia, even as we speak. There you go. I think these nations are realizing that the jig is up, basically, that the US and Russia are moving forward
Starting point is 00:45:12 with their own alliances and their own plans for the future, and that they're going to be second fiddle. They're going to be left out of the discussions moving forward, unless they make new alliances and some new commitments. And that's where you're going to see a lot more of this, these kind of stories here about Canada cozying up to Europe, French nuclear submarines within striking distance of the United States.

If you remember just maybe a week and a half, two weeks ago, it's amazing how the stories can change so rapidly in the news that egg prices were continuing to go up, up, up, and it was Donald Trump's fault. It was Donald Trump's fault that those chickens are laying expensive eggs. The reason why we're having to pay eight,
Starting point is 00:47:32 nine dollars a dozen for eggs is because that evil Donald Trump was doing something with the chickens and the eggs, right? Well, what do you do if egg prices go down? Do you change your narrative? That's exactly right. You change the story. You quit blaming Trump because you can't reward Donald Trump if the egg prices go down, right?
Starting point is 00:47:54 So let's watch this report from ABC News as they dose out a big dollop of egg propaganda here. Watch this. Finally, there is some good news. These are staples in all of our fridges. A lot of people love eggs. Many of us have them. And finally, I have some good news for you. The USDA says wholesale egg prices dropped for the third straight week, and it's a pretty big drop. The average wholesale price nationwide fell to $4.15 per dozen. So let's put that in perspective. That is down about $2.70 in just one week.
Starting point is 00:48:26 Prices were over $8 at the end of last month. So part of the reason for the steep drop is people were put off by those high prices. So demand is lower. The other reasons, experts say, are because bird flu outbreaks have decreased. And get this, Easter is really late this year, so demand isn't that high right now. However, USDA also says declines haven't been reflected at store shelves yet, so you still may see those higher prices. But experts say consumers should start to see those prices drop by the time Easter finally rolls around just in time. The reason why you're not buying eggs is because Easter is late this year.
Starting point is 00:49:01 That's why. No, the reason why you weren't buying eggs is because they were high because Joe Biden and his administration were out there killing all the chickens. If you got dead chickens, they can't lay eggs, right? And so the most essential staple in most foods that you cook are eggs. When it comes to bread, it comes to anything that you want to cook basically you need eggs but now a few weeks ago they were blaming Donald Trump for the rising egg prices now that the egg prices are coming down no mention of
Starting point is 00:49:34 Donald Trump see how the propaganda works we're going to continue to see egg prices come down because fresh chickens are getting into the production line. And by summer, you won't even notice the difference in egg prices. You'll be going, what expensive eggs? Because that's how the cycle works. And so it was just another hit by the previous administration, the Biden administration, to try to dump something onto the Trump administration and have them deal with. Another thing that Donald Trump was blamed for just weeks ago
Starting point is 00:50:11 was a rise in gas prices. Now over the past week, we've seen oil go from about $82 a barrel down to $65 a barrel because of new alliances that the president is making in the Middle East. Now gas prices are starting to come down. That's a good thing, right? Wrong. According to MarketWatch, gas prices coming down
Starting point is 00:50:36 is a bad thing. Gas prices are heading below $3 a gallon. Why that's not actually a good thing. OK, let's follow their logic here. The average price for gasoline at the pump has declined for a fourth straight week and may fall below $3 a gallon to the lowest level in years. But that's no reason to celebrate,
Starting point is 00:51:02 according to GasBuddy, as concerns over tariffs and policy uncertainties grow, gas prices have continued to decline across much of the country. Wrap your mind around that. As concerns over tariffs and policy uncertainties grow, gas prices have continued to go down Raising the possibility that the national average could slip below three dollars per gallon and Approach some of the lowest prices seen in years. That's according to Patrick dehaan head of petroleum analysis at gas buddy I'm sorry Patrick, but I don't I don't follow your logic here. It would seem to me that if people were concerned over tariffs and policy uncertainties, that
Starting point is 00:51:53 that would cause gas prices to increase, not to go down. Let's just admit to the real reason why gas prices are coming down, and that's because of the new energy policies of the Trump administration You don't have to be a fan of Donald Trump. You don't have to like Donald Trump You didn't even have to vote for Donald Trump, but you do have to acknowledge that the energy policies of the of the Trump administration have opened a fresh spigot of energy into our economy you have to admit that
Starting point is 00:52:29 and that's going to result as donald trump uh... stated yesterday in oppressor at the kennedy center he said as gas prices come down you're going to consider you're going to see food prices come down as well the lower the gas prices, energy into the system, the lower food prices should come down, because it costs less to produce food, to ship food,
Starting point is 00:52:54 to transfer food, and to get that to the market. And so you're going to continue to see these price changes unless the globalists try to throw a wrench in the works and destroy everything that's been going on here over the past several weeks since the installation of the Trump administration. As I mentioned earlier, we'd give you a gold update here. Currently the gold price was trading at about $3,040 today. I'm not sure of the most recent update or anything, but that was it just before I walked out here on set today.
Starting point is 00:53:33 You see the headline here from CNBC. It says that gold has hit another record as tensions flare over Gaza and over Trump tariffs. Gold hit another record high above $3,000 Tuesday with investors seeking the metal as a haven from risk as conflict flared in the Middle East and US President Donald Trump pressed on with tariff plans. This quote from CNBC says, there is a perfect storm of gold-supporting factors. That's coming from Ole Hanson, head of Commodity Strategy at Saxo Bank. This is a perfect storm of gold-supporting factors. The latest focus is the Middle East concerns that come on top of economic concerns about

Many of you have been following the story of the stranded astronauts up at the International Space Station here. The two crew members that went up on the Boeing Starliner, the Starliner basically broke down

What started as a nine-day mission turned out to be nine months that they've been stuck up there and I'm not sure if they've been made it back here as the time of this recording here this afternoon but they were supposed to be in transit and return to earth sometime Tuesday afternoon they have of course have you know once again Elon Musk to the rescue in this particular case with
Starting point is 00:56:47 uh... the uh... space x launch here over the weekend and uh... now those two astronauts and several others are on the way back to earth right now and uh... i'm glad i'm certain they're coming to a great homecoming but one of the astronauts butch g Gilmore, is actually a very
Starting point is 00:57:05 good friend with Ken Ham. If you know who Ken Ham is, he is the gentleman that has the ministry located up in Kentucky. You're familiar with the Ark. Some things look to us to be not so good, but it's all working out for His good for those that will believe.

Starting point is 01:02:49 and we might come back on this tomorrow when Rick rejoins us, but we'll work through some of the verses and everything here today. And you're gonna help me today. You, the audience, are gonna help me today in our study because I'm gonna open up to questions as we go through our study today
Starting point is 01:03:08 and we're gonna be interacting here along the way. So you're going to be the co-host today. You're gonna be the ones that are gonna be helping us out as we explore the word of God together. We are in Romans chapter eight, so if you'll turn there right now. We're gonna be focusing on verses nine through 17 today. I seriously doubt if we'll get through all these verses,
Starting point is 01:03:28 and as I said, when Rick rejoins us, we might do a little bit of backtracking, because I really wanna hear what Rick has to say about this particular passage of scripture. But we're gonna study it today, and pray for the Holy Spirit insights here as we study together. Romans chapter 8 verses 9 through 17. So if you read along with me, I'm reading from the King James here today. But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God
Starting point is 01:03:57 dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwell within you.
Starting point is 01:04:23 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh to live after the flesh. For if you live after the flesh, you shall die. But if you through the spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. For as many as are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but ye have
Starting point is 01:04:47 received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God and in children and heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. If so be that we suffer with them, that we may be also glorified together. God bless the reading of his word today. All right, well, we're gonna jump right in here today. And as I said, you and I are gonna be working together studying this scripture here today. And because I'm gonna open up two questions
Starting point is 01:05:23 from our live chat today. But I would ask that the questions be focused on what we're studying today, on our passage today. There are lots of questions that we have about the scripture, but let's focus today on what this passage of scripture is saying to us. So we started our study off today, looking at verse nine. I'll read it again here.
Starting point is 01:05:42 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the spirit. If so be, that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Well now first of all I wanna point out, there are some out there that would make a distinguishing characteristic in this passage of Scripture to the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ as if they were two
Starting point is 01:06:11 separate things. And there are those that would teach that there are two separate, if you will, spirits of God and the spirit of Christ. Such is not the case in this passage. I wanna make it very, very clear that there are not two different spirits being spoken about here in verse nine. Paul is using these two terms, spirit of God and spirit of Christ interchangeably.
Starting point is 01:06:43 In fact, this particular verse of Scripture, Romans 8-9, is one of the verses that I use to help people with an understanding of the Trinity of God. Now, we're not going to spend a lot of time on that particular aspect of this verse today because Paul isn't teaching about the Trinity here. But this particular passage here, in this particular verse, you see all three members of the Godhead. You see God the Father, you see God the Son, Christ, and you also see the Spirit of God. Paul here is using these two spirit terms, if you will, interchangeably. They are not two separate or two distinguishing spirits, as someone tried to teach out there.
Starting point is 01:07:34 And they teach this because they don't want to acknowledge that the Holy Spirit is a person, that the Spirit is of some sort of ethereal vapor, not a personality, not a member of the Godhead. But this is not the case here at all. Even though Paul does not come across and specifically state, here are the three members of the Godhead, we can see the evidence of it in this passage. So addressing that, setting it aside and everything, well let's not focus on that. I wanted to address it in case anyone had any questions about it because occasionally it does come up on
Starting point is 01:08:20 this particular verse. What Paul is really focusing on here is making the case as he did in the first portion of Romans chapter 8 here that you know up to chapter 8 we've been studying about if you will the doctrine of our relationship with God the Father and with Christ and with the Holy Spirit. So the first seven chapters of the book of Romans, Paul is making the case, he spent the first few chapters addressing directly the church in Rome,
Starting point is 01:08:52 and then he laid down the doctrinal foundation in order for us to understand salvation, justification, sanctification, and now starts off in the beginning of chapter eight with no condemnation. So Vicki here is asking a question. Vicki, a great question on this. Is it right to say the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God
Starting point is 01:09:16 and not the Spirit of Christ? No, they are one and the same. You cannot make a distinguishing characteristic. And that's why I wanted to address that early on. When we say the Spirit of God, we're talking about the Holy Spirit. When we say the Spirit of Christ, we're talking about the Holy Spirit.
Starting point is 01:09:32 They're one and the same. They're not two distinguishing characters, if you will, or two distinguishing entities. They are one and the same. And so when Paul addresses our relationship here to God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, now comes to Romans 8, there's there for now no condemnation to those there in Christ Jesus.
Starting point is 01:10:01 And then he makes the case on how to live this life. You know the teaching Paul says, you know what I've taught you, I've given you the foundation, I've given you the groundwork. Now how do I live? Francis Schaeffer wrote a book a few years back called, How Shall We Then Live? And it was one of those high level, high thinking Christian books back in, I think, early mid 80s. And if you were pretending to be smart, you read it. And he asked a question, how shall we then live?
Starting point is 01:10:43 Well, Paul answers that question here in Romans 8. how shall we then live? Well, Paul answers that question here in Romans 8. How shall we then live? We live by the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit. And Paul makes, as we studied yesterday, that there is a place where we no longer live in the flesh, but that we live in the spirit. Okay. How do we access that presence of the spirit? Well, Leslie is asking that question. You need to let
Starting point is 01:11:16 Jesus in your life. You need to recognize that Christ is king. There's a bit of a controversy saying Christ is King right now on social media. There are some that are saying you shouldn't say that because it offends the Jews. Christ is still King whether it offends the Jews or not. I don't know why people are making a big deal about it, but when we make Christ the King in our own life, there's an entity that takes up residence within us. And that entity is the Holy Spirit. Okay? The Holy Spirit enters into us.
Starting point is 01:11:55 Before we proclaimed Christ as King and Lord and Savior of our lives, we had really no control or really any choice over our flesh and what it did. Now with the spirit of Christ, we are now under new ownership, if you will, new rulership. And as such, excuse me, we now have the ability
Starting point is 01:12:26 to address the sin that resides in us. Beforehand, we were captives, we were in bondage, we had no hope, but now through the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit, we have hope to mortify sin in the flesh, which we'll talk about later in our passage today. Paul is saying here, verse 9, ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. How? If so, be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. So let me ask you something. All of, we have about 300 people online here with us today.
Starting point is 01:13:07 Does the Spirit of God dwell in you? Does the Spirit of God dwell in you? And how do you know that the Spirit of God dwells in you? How do you know it? How do you know that the Spirit of God dwells in you? Well, we know from other passages of Scripture over in Galatians chapter 5 that if the Spirit of Christ is dwelling in us, if we say that the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit is dwelling in us,
Starting point is 01:13:43 then there will be evidence of that presence in our life. Now prior to us proclaiming Christ as King, proclaiming him the Lord and Savior of our lives, we were helpless in overcoming sin in our lives. But now, now the Holy Spirit dwells in us. How do we have evidence of that? Well the first evidence is faith. We confess it. We've made a confession of faith in Christ as King, Lord, and Savior. And by that confession of faith we know that the Spirit of God dwells in us because of that. Now how is that evident in our life? Well it's evident by the fruit of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, general kindness, mercy.
Starting point is 01:14:30 And Paul goes on to say that this fruit that's produced in our life by the Holy Spirit is the evidence, if you will, of the indwelling presence of the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit in our life. How is that directly addressed in our lives? Well, the Apostle John addresses it in some of his epistles in that the world would know that we're the disciples, we're his disciples by what evidence in our life? What evidence would we exhibit in our lives that would be, if you will, the evidence to the world that we are the disciples of Christ?
Starting point is 01:15:20 Well, the apostle John addresses it in his letters. He says that if this is how the world would know that we're his disciples, if we have love one for another, if we have love one for another, that is the evidence that we're his disciples. That's the evidence that we are being indwelt by the spirit of God. So how can we evidence to the world
Starting point is 01:15:49 that we are disciples, that we have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit by our love for our brothers and sisters in Christ? Now it's interesting that that's the case there because really that is, if we can't love one another as joint heirs of this precious salvation, how can we say we love the lost? How can we say that we want to see the world saved
Starting point is 01:16:20 if we can't even love each other? Now, some people make it difficult to love one another. Some people go out of their way to make it hard to love them. I really wish they wouldn't do that. And sometimes the best way to show love to somebody is to let them go and let them find a deeper love somewhere else. That's a tough thing to do sometimes.
Starting point is 01:16:49 But it's the reality of life. But the evidence that we have for the world to see in us, that the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells in us, is our love one for another. Now, the Apostle John also says, something else related to that, in that how does the Father recognize that we're followers of Christ?
Starting point is 01:17:19 Well, the Apostle John says, if we obey him, if we obey him, if we do his commandments, if he does what he tells us to do, that's how the father recognizes us as Christ's disciples. So both things are in play and both require the presence of the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit. the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit. We're no longer in the flesh. We're no longer in the flesh. But when we crossed that threshold of salvation, when we crossed that line by faith,
Starting point is 01:17:58 by faith we also received the Spirit of God to dwell in us. So once again, you know, kind of keeping things open for questions here, if you have any related to what we're teaching about today, in case I'm not making things very clear, I'd like to follow up with you and see if there's any questions. Give me just a moment here, I gotta get a drink.
Starting point is 01:18:22 Give me just a moment here, I gotta get a drink. When you're flying solo, you have to have cleaner fluids. So, Debbie Murphy, she asked, aren't we also to try the voice of the spirit we hear by the word of God in order to make sure it is the true Holy Spirit speaking to us? Absolutely, Debbie. How do we know that the Spirit of God is speaking to us and leading us?
Starting point is 01:18:54 Well, one great way to know is to know His word. Okay, Debbie? That's one great way to know it. To know His word because the spirit of God will never contradict the word of God because the spirit of God and the word of God are one and the same. If God speaks, isn't that an expression of his spirit
Starting point is 01:19:19 as well? And the scripture is inspired by the Holy Spirit according to the apostlele Paul in his letter to Timothy. And so this scripture is the voice of the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God will never contradict His word. Now the Spirit of God will lead us and direct us, maybe give us a specific direction, but the Bible says to test the spirits, to see if they are of God.
Starting point is 01:19:53 And it's okay to test the Spirit of God. It's okay to test it because His Spirit will always line up with His Word. His Spirit will always line up with his word. His spirit will always line up with his word. So the more of his word that we have, the more of an understanding that we have of his word, the more of an understanding we'll have of the spirit of God, okay? So verse nine, the question is,
Starting point is 01:20:23 now you no longer live in the flesh, you're now living in the spirit if the spirit of God dwells in you. And then Paul says, if the spirit of God is dwelling in you, if the spirit of God, if you don't have the spirit of God, if you don't have the spirit of Christ,
Starting point is 01:20:44 you don't have the Spirit of God, if you don't have the Spirit of Christ, you don't belong to it. If you do not have the Spirit of Christ, you do not belong to Him. And so ladies and gentlemen, it's essential for us to have an understanding that the Spirit of Christ dwells in us. That the Holy Spirit has taken up residence within us. This is very important to understand. This isn't, once again, the Holy Spirit isn't just some vapor or something in the ether or, you know,
Starting point is 01:21:21 more or something like the spirit that gets raised up when you're singing in the Glee club or something like that no the holy spirit is a person the holy spirit takes up residence in us as believers and helps us to walk by faith not by sight and helps us to mortify the sins of the flesh helps us to produce the fruit of the spirit that should be expected in our lives. Not everyone that confesses Christ belongs to him.
Starting point is 01:21:58 Not everyone, not everyone that confesses Christ belongs to him. I'll say it one more time. Not everyone that confesses Christ belongs to him. I'll say it one more time. Not everyone that confesses Christ belongs to him. They may say the words, but unless they're expressing them by faith, faith that can only be generated by the Holy Spirit of God in the first place,
Starting point is 01:22:22 they're none of his. This is a pretty harsh statement by Paul here. He's saying to the Romans, if you don't have the Spirit of Christ, you don't belong to Christ. Now, there may be some of you there today that are saying, well, how do I know that I have the Spirit of Christ? How do I know that I have the indwelling of the spirit?
Starting point is 01:22:47 You receive that by faith. It can't be based on feeling. It can't be based on goosebumps. It can't be based on anything other than by faith because I have confessed to Christ, the spirit of Christ dwells in me. because I have confessed to Christ, the spirit of Christ dwells in me. No one can really say Christ is King, Lord and Savior
Starting point is 01:23:10 unless, if they're speaking truthfully that is, unless the Holy Spirit prompts them to do it. That's the only way. Because we have nothing in our nature itself that prompts us to confess Christ as King, Lord and Savior. But by doing that, by confessing Christ as King, Lord and Savior, we're agreeing with the Word of God, which is equivalent to the Spirit of God.
Starting point is 01:23:40 Let's move on to verse 10 here. Paul says, okay, if Christ be in you, if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness. I'll read it again. If Christ be in you, and by Christ, we're meaning the Holy Spirit, if Christ be in you. The body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. This body of ours, as long as it remains in this environment, one day has to die or be
Starting point is 01:24:24 transformed at least. There'll be some who at the trumpet of God, they'll be changed instantly. But what that simply means is that this flesh as it currently stands cannot reside in eternity. This flesh, this flesh and bone will be changed. We don't get a new body, we get a resurrected body. Okay, we're not trading in something old for something new.
Starting point is 01:24:58 We are actually changed. That's different than what happens to the heavens and the earth. There's a teaching among dispensationalists that when the Lord returns, he is going to make a new heavens and a new earth. But their idea of that is that he's going to be doing a big fixer-upper project, a big remodeling job. He's going to remodel the current heaven. He's going to remodel the current heaven, and he's gonna remodel the current earth, but that's not the case at all.
Starting point is 01:25:30 At the final day, God is going to inaugurate a new heaven. Why a new heaven? Because sin began in heaven, and a new earth. Why a new earth? Because in order to live eternally, we have to have an eternal environment to live in. And so God creates a new heavens and a new earth but our bodies are changed. They'll look like new but they'll be changed. What will they be changed into? They'll be changed into eternal bodies,
Starting point is 01:26:07 bodies that will live in a new environment. If you think of a diver goes diving in the ocean, he has to wear a special kind of suit to exist in that environment. If he's a deep sea diver, you've seen him with big giant bell helmets and stuff like that and you know the tether going up to air up on the surface and you know these big heavy suits. Why is that? Because if he wasn't in that suit the pressure
Starting point is 01:26:41 of the ocean and the environment would crush him. Of course, you wouldn't be able to breathe. Even if you had access to air, you wouldn't be able to breathe because the pressure would be so great on your lungs, you wouldn't be able to take a breath. You have to be in a special suit to exist in that environment. Well, likewise, in that new heavenly environment, the new heavens and the new earth, we're gonna need a new kind of suit to operate in.
Starting point is 01:27:08 But that suit that we operate in is gonna be a changed suit, a resurrected suit. And I'm looking forward to that. I'm looking forward to that change. Where God puts me back together, reorganizes me in the ideal situation, I'm looking forward to that change. Where God puts me back together, reorganizes me in the ideal situation. I'm probably good looking in eternity.
Starting point is 01:27:31 I've just pretty much settled on that. I'm probably gonna look my best in eternity. If I look this good now, imagine what I'm gonna look like in eternity, amen? If Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin. So this body that we live in is a dead body. It's a corpse.
Starting point is 01:27:54 It's a zombie body that we live in, if you will. It's dead. It's necrotic. It stinks. This body is dead to sin. Now before we had Christ, before we knew Christ as King and Lord and Savior, we didn't even know we were dead. We didn't even know that we were zombies.
Starting point is 01:28:18 We didn't know that this flesh and even our spirits were dead. But just as Adam disobeyed, Adam and Eve disobeyed, and deaths began first of all in their spirit and then later on in their flesh, on our side of the spectrum, we have death in our flesh, but we've been given new life in the spirit. in our flesh, but we've been given new life in the spirit. And one day, the flesh is gonna catch up with us because God will change our flesh and make it eternal flesh. If Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness. So this resurrection that we're going to encounter
Starting point is 01:29:03 on the final day, if you will, that resurrection began, the beginning of the resurrection of this flesh right here, began the day that you recognized Christ as King, Lord and Savior. Just as Adam and Eve began to die when they disobeyed, their flesh also began to die as well. And eventually they did die. And that death has carried over to even to this day.
Starting point is 01:29:35 Guess what we inherited from Adam? Death. We inherited death from our granddaddy Adam. In the last will and testament it said to my great great great great great great great great great great great grandson Doc, I do bequeath unto you death. Have fun with it son. But the reason I bring this out is I want you to understand that the resurrection has already started with us if we've confessed to Christ. We have already started our resurrection. By faith, by faith we have entered into the first stage of our resurrection. If you get this down in your gizzard today,
Starting point is 01:30:27 it'll get you excited all day long. We are already being resurrected now. The first fruits of our resurrection on the final day is the Spirit of God living in us now. The first fruit of our resurrection, our physical resurrection on the final day, is the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit dwelling in us now. That's the first fruit of our resurrection. You've already been raised up to new life. If you've confessed Christ, you've been baptized in water.
Starting point is 01:31:07 That baptism is reminiscent of that death, burial and resurrection that takes place within our spirit. And it begins the resurrection of our physical bodies as well. The spirit is life because of righteousness. Praise God. It doesn't remain there. On that final day when Jesus comes back and that trumpet sounds and that spirit of life
Starting point is 01:31:38 says I'm going to regather Doc. I'm putting him back, putting his body back together. His spirit has been with me, assuming that I've gone under glory by that time. I'm going to put together his body, even if it's turned to dust, even if it was digested by a great white shark, I'm going to restore him, his body, not give him a new body. I'm going to restore Doc's body, not give him a new body. I'm gonna restore Doc's body, Doc's personal dwelling. I'm gonna put it all together and I'm gonna change it into the, to match the atmosphere that he's going to live in for eternity. Isn't that a great
Starting point is 01:32:19 picture? Isn't that a wonderful picture? Monica wrote, therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new critter. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new. All things. All things are become new. That's 2 Corinthians 5, 17. Thank you for that, Monica. That fits right in here. We have already started
Starting point is 01:32:46 our resurrection if the Spirit of Christ dwells in us. Now how do we manifest that resurrection life now by faith? That resurrection life is manifested by faith now. And how is that evidence? It's evidence in our life by believing the word of God for the promises that he's given us, whether it be for provision, whether it be for health, whether it be for healing,
Starting point is 01:33:19 whether it be for increase of fruit in our life, whether it's to understand our calling, all these things are a direct result of the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit in our life. Barbara and Jonathan, my friends down in Fort Pierce, asked this question. Why does the Holy Spirit feel stronger within at times, and other times is somewhat diminished.
Starting point is 01:33:47 Because once again, that's feelings. Okay, I can change my feelings with a cup of coffee, right? Is that true? I can change my feelings with a cup of coffee. I can change my feelings with a nap. I can change my feelings with a nap. I can change my feelings with a taco. So my feelings are a manifestation of my flesh. And so we have to understand that this flesh
Starting point is 01:34:16 can easily deceive us. That this flesh can give false readings at times. And as a result, we have to measure up our feelings against faith in the word of God. His word is unchanging. God's word is unchanging. God's word is true, it's the standard. It is not based on how we feel about it.
Starting point is 01:34:42 It is not based on our perception of it. God's word is true, though every man be a liar. And so to my friends in Fort Pierce, I would say to you that do not trust your feelings. Do not trust your feelings. Understand them, recognize them, but don't trust them because at times those feelings that we have can be deceiving.
Starting point is 01:35:12 Instead, trust the promises of the word of God. Of course, that's been inspired by the word of God and we can trust the word of God to reveal the spirit of God to us. I hope that helps, Jonathan and Barbara. So all right, so let's look at verse 11 here. But if the Spirit of Him, if Paul makes that if, but if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken
Starting point is 01:35:54 your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you." Once again, this is going along that theme of ultimately the resurrection of our bodies that will take place. And to understand the resurrection of Jesus Christ, there are some theologians that are nitpicky about things. And they say, well, doc, you know, one passage of scripture says that it was the Father that raised Christ from the dead. Another passage says that Christ raised himself up from the dead.
Starting point is 01:36:36 And then you have this passage, Doc, that says it was the Spirit of God that raised Christ up from the dead. And to that, I would respond respond, well what's your point? All three of them were active in the resurrection. There wasn't one that was excluded from the resurrection. The Father was involved, the Son was involved, the Holy Spirit was involved. There's no contradiction. There's no contradiction if you believe the Bible.
Starting point is 01:37:04 If you believe the Bible. If you believe all three are in the Word, and the Word says all three are true, then there's no conflict. The only conflict is in your mind. You're trying to say that there is a contradiction. I'm saying that the three passages coalesce into one theological event, and that is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. God the Father was involved, God the Son was involved, and God the Holy Spirit were involved.
Starting point is 01:37:32 Debbie Murphy makes a good point that all three were present at creation. Why wouldn't all three be present in the resurrection? And all three will be present in your resurrection as well. in your resurrection as well. Think about it. Verse 11 here says, if the Spirit of him that raised Jesus up from the dead, the Spirit of who? The Spirit of the Father. If the Spirit of the Father raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you." All three are involved not only in the resurrection of Christ, all three are involved in your resurrection as well. Folks, this is great theology here. As I like to say, if you get this down in your gizzard today, it's going to change some
Starting point is 01:38:30 of your thinking. Because then you begin to understand, you know, I'm not alone in this fight. I've got God the Father, I've got God the Son, I've got God the Holy Spirit that are working in me, dwelling in me, justifying me, sanctifying me, and changing me into the image of Christ. When you realize how little you're involved other than to say, yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, Lord, when you realize how little you're involved in how much the Father does, how much the Son does, and how much the Holy Spirit does, it's a wonder you're involved with anything at all, amen?
Starting point is 01:39:24 Praise God, I'm, I'm, tell you what, that excites me. I'm already living in my resurrection now. My body hasn't caught up with it yet, but my spirit is already there. My spirit is already living in the resurrection. And one day my body's gonna catch up with me. And when we get together, we're gonna live eternally with my Jesus. Praise God. I tell you what, I'm excited today. That is a great encouragement to me.
Starting point is 01:39:58 I'm living my resurrection now. I'm living my resurrection today, right now, if the Spirit of Christ be in me. Now Paul is using that if, assuming that those that are reading this have received Christ. He's saying, if you've confessed Christ, if He's your King, if He's your Lord and Savior, if that Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, it's kind of rhetorical there. Yes, of course it does. It dwells in you. He that raised up Christ from the dead shall quicken your mortal bodies by His spirit that dwelleth in you." There was a teaching going along in the first century and it was carryover from Judaism that in certain, you know, certain
Starting point is 01:40:56 sects of the Jews believed that when you died, you died. That's it. There was no afterlife. There was no afterlife, there was nothing beyond that, there was no hope beyond that. There was nothing supernatural that took place. But Paul here is re-emphasizing. He's saying, you know, this stuff is real, folks. This stuff is real. You don't just die. You're going to live forever. You're going to live forever. You're going to live forever.
Starting point is 01:41:28 Now, here's the problem. Everybody's going to live forever. And everybody's going to have a resurrected body. But not everyone's going to dwell with Christ. Only those that have the Spirit of Christ that has taken up residence within them, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit, that have taken up residence within them, only we will be resurrected to life in Christ.
Starting point is 01:41:58 To others who don't have the Spirit of God dwelling in them, there's also an eternity, an eternity of shame, torment, torture brought on by ourselves in our own sin. But that's not you. Paul is saying, if the spirit of Christ dwells in you, you have this promise, you're gonna live forever. You're gonna have a resurrected body just like Jesus has a resurrected body. All right, Marco asked a quick question here. I won't go off on a side note too much here. If the spirit of the Lord is in us believers,
Starting point is 01:42:46 what is the baptism of the Spirit? Well, the part of the best way to put it is that we have, the best analogy I have here is I've got a bottle of water here. So there's water in this container. Now this is just a picture, Marco, okay? Just a picture. Don't hold fast and true to all, don't take the picture too far. But if I take this water and I drink it, the water that was in this bottle is now in me.
Starting point is 01:43:24 This water is now inside of me and is a really a part of me. Now about four miles that way is the ocean. It's also water and I can go out and I can step in the ocean and swim in it. I'm completely surrounded by water. I feel the waves. I feel the power of the water. I'm being, if you will, baptized in water. That's the best picture I have, Marco, that we have the indwelling of the presence of the Holy Spirit that's taking up residence within us, but there are also times in our life where we need to be thoroughly dumped in the Holy Spirit. And there's no way we can appreciate the fullness of the Holy Spirit because just like if you went out in the ocean, you know, out here off the
Starting point is 01:44:27 beach in Zero Beach, you're only experiencing just some small part of the world, all oceans. Even though it's all connected, you're only experiencing one small part. There's no way we can experience all the oceans of the world by stepping out into one, but yet we're connected with it. So that's the difference there, Mark, without getting too deep or on a rabbit trail here today. All right. All right. So verse 12. So Paul is making a conclusion to his thought here. How do I know? He says in verse 12, therefore. So anytime you see the word therefore, ask yourself. My pastor Charles, back when I was 15, 16 years old, he would say, yeah, I have to ask what it's there for.
Starting point is 01:45:17 Well, this is a conclusion that Paul is making here to this sort of mini argument. Verse 12, therefore brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh to live after the flesh, and we just go ahead and add verse 13 here. For if you live after the flesh, ye shall die. But if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live.
Starting point is 01:45:42 So, Paul's making the case here that if you continue in sin, if you continue in overt sin in your life, it's evident that the Spirit of God does not dwell in you. If you continue in overt sin, that is the evidence that the Spirit of God does not dwell in you. What do you mean? I mean exactly that. If you live a sinful life, the Spirit of God does not dwell in you. Yes, but I confess Christ. But if you're living a sinful life, the Spirit of God does not dwell in you. I don't know why this is difficult to understand. There seems to be sort of a carte blanche idea that's given that if I've confessed Christ that I can do whatever I darn well please right that I can sin and there are no consequences
Starting point is 01:46:52 to my sin there there's no accountability for my sin but Paul's making it very clear that is not the case at all. We are not to live after the flesh. We owe flesh nothing. We owe that flesh nothing. We are not debtors to the flesh. We're not obligated to sin. We are not debtors to sin. We're not obligated to sin. There is an obligation now. There's a different obligation. We're debtors to the Spirit of God now. Verse 13. We're debtors to the Spirit
Starting point is 01:47:42 of God now. How are we debtors? We're debtors in allowing the spirit of God, the spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit in our life to mortify the deeds of the flesh. Before we came to know Christ, sin didn't matter to us. We sinned freely. We didn't care about the consequences. If we cared about the consequences,
Starting point is 01:48:05 we would have confessed to Christ. But before we confessed to Christ, we didn't care. We didn't care about heaven or hell or anything like that. We may have talked about it. We may have expressed, well, I'd like to go to heaven. I could sure like to avoid hell, but we were never serious about it. After the Holy Spirit dwells in us,
Starting point is 01:48:24 after the Holy Spirit takes up residence in us, that's the part where we recognize, hey, there's still sin in this body. Now there's a teaching that sprang up in the church. It was kind of hanging around in the second century and really got some meat on its bones in the church. It was kind of hanging around in the second century and really got some meat on its bones in the third century and that basically said since this flesh is sinful, but our spirits aren't sinful, our spirits are redeemed,
Starting point is 01:48:59 but since this flesh is sinful, and this flesh is going to be destroyed anyway, why not sin? Yeah, I see the lie, they're thinking in that, path in that. Since this body is going to be changed anyway, this is where their thinking was. Since this body is gonna be changed anyway,
Starting point is 01:49:26 why not just go ahead and sin? Sin boldly, do whatever we want to in our flesh. Because it doesn't matter. What really matters is our spirit and our mind. And this is the roots of Gnosticism. is our spirit and our mind. And this is the roots of Gnosticism. In that they saw flesh as evil. Now flesh is sinful, I agree with you on that. But to say flesh is evil, that's wrong because God created this flesh. God did not create evil flesh. And the Gnostics and the Docetus and some of the others that sprang up in the third
Starting point is 01:50:12 century, they taught that you basically have carte blanche with the flesh. That there was nothing that was held to your account as far as sin is concerned in eternity. To that I would reply, then why did Christ die? Did he die only for our spirit? No, my theology says he died not only for our spirit but also for our flesh as well. My theology says he died not only for our spirit but also for our flesh as well. If so, I mean if it was only for our spirit then Christ didn't have to die in the flesh, right? He only had to die in the spirit. And they would teach, well that's the case.
Starting point is 01:50:57 But it's not the case. That's why Paul is making a big deal about resurrection in this passage here. This isn't something that we're just going to live like some sort of Casper, the friendly ghost for all eternity. No, we're going to have a body. Christ died so we would have a resurrected body. It was that important. important. Christ died so not only we could have our spirits renewed but that we would have resurrected bodies. So what's the big deal? What's the big deal of that? Because
Starting point is 01:51:42 there's an expectation that in the kingdom to come that the full manifestation of the kingdom, I believe we're living in the kingdom now, but the full manifestation of the kingdom on the final day is going to require our physical presence. Not some sort of, you know, spooky presence, but our physical presence. Physical bodies, resurrected bodies mind you, but physical presence. Physical bodies.
Starting point is 01:52:05 Resurrected bodies, mind you, but physical bodies. Having a resurrected body is important. Christ came not only to redeem our spirit, but to redeem our flesh as well. It was a big deal to him, a very, very, very big deal to him. So some of this teaching kind of creeps back in every few centuries, it kind of sneaks in to some churches and stuff.
Starting point is 01:52:40 In the Charismatic world today, you'll see those that wink at sin, wink at the sin of leaders and everything. And there's not a remorse over sin. You may have seen recently, if you know the name Stephen Lawson, and I'm not picking on Steve Lawson or anything like that, but he recently, I think it was on Friday, posted on X a confession confession about having a relationship with a woman. Steve Lawson's a wonderful preacher, wonderful teacher.
Starting point is 01:53:34 I don't diminish him as a man of God, but in this particular case, he's a man of God who failed. Now, some would condemn him for his confession. I would condemn sin, but I'm not gonna condemn Steve Lawson. He's made a confession of his sin publicly and he's gonna step out of ministry for a period of time, maybe even permanently. He did the right thing.
Starting point is 01:54:03 He did the right thing by publicly confessing what he did and willingly stepping aside. Contrast that to the story this week and once again this but for the grace of God go I Pastor Robert Morris another Maine familiar with everyone, was arrested this week for charges going back 43 years. 43 years. But there's still been nothing from Robert Morris other than some acknowledgement of sin in the past. The difference between the two cases here is there were a lot of people that were involved in the Robert Morris situation over those four decades
Starting point is 01:54:59 that were aware of the sin that had taken place in Robert Morris's life and didn't address it. And there are a lot of very public people who are associated with Robert Morris that may or may not have known about the situation in his life. I use those two situations here
Starting point is 01:55:23 not to diminish them in any way, but rather to point out that we need the spirit of God in our lives constantly, constantly mortifying the deeds of the flesh. Constantly mortifying the deeds of the flesh. If something like this can happen to someone that obviously has a call on their life, that God is blessed in ministry,
Starting point is 01:55:52 if something like this can happen in their lives, can it happen in your life as well? The honest answer is yes. Yes. Yes, and that's why every day, every day, we need to let the Spirit of God mortify the deeds of our body. What's that word mortify mean? That's a good old King James word that means kill them dead.
Starting point is 01:56:17 Remember the old commercials back in the 60s and 70s for Raid? What did Raid do to bugs who remembers what did raid do to bugs what did raid do to bugs see if who remembers it here kills bugs dead not just kills them but kills bugs dead they said it twice you didn't have to say it twice if it kills them, but kills bugs dead. They said it twice. You didn't have to say it twice. If it kills them, you could have just said kills bugs, but that's not enough. You not only wanna kill them,
Starting point is 01:56:52 you wanna kill them dead, right? Well, that's what the Holy Spirit wants to do to sin in our lives. It wants to kill sin dead. It's mortifying. That's what that word mortify means, to kill it, to kill it dead. It's mortifying. That's what that word mortify means, to kill it, to kill it dead. And so the Spirit of God mortifies the deeds of the body. And this is what I would say about Stephen Lawson and about Robert Morris. As tragic as those situations are, I celebrate the fact that the Holy Spirit is working in both men's lives and in mine as well. want to have your ministry, your character, and your life split from stem to stern,
Starting point is 01:57:47 opened up and everything exposed. Do you want that? Because if that's what it takes to mortify the deeds of the flesh, the Holy Spirit, that's what he'll do. Truly, he will do that to you. And for those of you who have had that splitting in their own lives like I've had in my life where I failed God miserably, if you've been split from stem to stern you understand that. God will bring it out.
Starting point is 01:58:25 Yes, he will, Lisa. Why? Because he loves you, not because he's trying to torture you, trying to be mean to you, trying to expose you. He wants you to expose yourself to him. He wants you to open up yourself to him and say, Holy Spirit, whatever it takes,
Starting point is 01:58:43 and be careful when you say that, Holy Spirit, whatever it takes to mortify the deeds of my flesh, I will do." So, now Marcy, you bring up a good point. We're not the ones that have the responsibility of protecting the sheep. You're Absolutely right. To those who have a higher calling, there's a higher responsibility. Like Uncle Ben said to Peter Parker, with great power come great responsibility. We're held to a higher standard.
Starting point is 01:59:16 Absolutely, I absolutely agree with you. No question about that. But it's the same Holy Spirit, I want you to understand that too, Marcie. The same Holy Spirit that is drawing Stephen Lawson to Christ, the same Holy Spirit that is drawing Robert Morris through these circumstances to Christ, is the same Holy Spirit that is mortifying
Starting point is 01:59:38 the deeds of your flesh, Marcie, as well. I'm not condemning you, Marcie, I'm not picking on you, just ask the question there. So praise God. And Debbie also brings up the point that if you try to justify your sin, you're eventually gonna, it's gonna catch up with you. And that's part of the issue. And part of the issue is the celebrity status that we give to pastors and everything because of media access and everything, that we make a bigger image of these individuals than they need to be. Should they be honored for their calling? Yes. Should they be honored for their contribution to the gospel?
Starting point is 02:00:25 Absolutely. I'm not diminishing that. But sometimes we put honor on those to whom honor has not been earned and to whom honor is not due. We give honor in the sense of a celebrity worship, if you will, idol worship. We have a tendency to do that as a people. We like to have heroes and then we like to kill our heroes when we get the chance. We're strange a lot, aren't we? So, praise God. Well, we're coming to the end of
Starting point is 02:00:59 our hour. We only managed to get through about three verses here. We'll probably do a little bit of backtracking with Rick when he rejoins us. I'm sure he'll have some insight on this passage and others. But I want you to be encouraged today as you walk by faith, not by sight, walk by faith, not by sight, that it is by the Spirit of God that we do that.
Starting point is 02:01:21 The Spirit of God that dwells in us. We don't do it of ourselves. It's impossible. Those are works of the flesh. But the works of the Spirit mortify the deeds of the body. Praise God. Aren't you glad that we have the Holy Spirit to kill sin dead in our life? Praise God. Hallelujah. I'm so glad that you were able to join us today. Please continue to pray for my dear friend and my boss Rick today and that Lord will touch him, give him some rest, help him with his voice and his throat. And pray for me, got a little scratch here as well, not as a significant of tricks,
Starting point is 02:02:07 but be praying for me today as well. And ask the Lord to continue his healing power in my life too. And we appreciate you. And please know that we love you very much. We pray for you constantly. We are believing God to do great things for you in this coming year and 2025.
Starting point is 02:02:29 I'm believing God's gonna bless some of you financially in ways that you have not even imagined yet. That you're gonna be in somebody's will or that you're gonna get paid tens of thousands of dollars for that easement in your front yard, or somebody's gonna come along and see a pot hanging in off a tree and offer you a bunch of money for a plant pot. I don't know.
Starting point is 02:03:00 I believe God's gonna bless you financially this year. It's gonna come from unexpected sources. I believe that God's gonna bless you with health this year in unexpected ways. When we're healthy, we don't consider that we need healing, do we? When we're healthy, we don't consider that we need healing. But in reality, we need healing all the time.
Starting point is 02:03:24 Amen? Would you agree with that? We need God's provision, we need God's divine provision, we need God's divine health in our life in all things. So pray for Rick for divine health, pray for this ministry for divine provision, and we're praying for you for the same thing, divine health and divine provision. for you for the same thing, divine health and divine provision.
