Welcome to the final edition of True News. I have known for a long time this day would arrive, but I never knew the date.
Well, that date is today, Friday, May 2nd, 2025.
When I spent a week in prayer in September 2024
in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina,
the Holy Spirit clearly told me
that true news had served its purpose
and it was time to end it.
The Holy Spirit also told me that we could
trying to keep it going would
hinder God from releasing blessings and favor
on this ministry for a new direction for us.
Well, I want to make it very clear that I am not
retiring from podcasting or ministry.
Faith and Values Fellowship,
the owner of the True News podcast,
has decided to reallocate its resources to Morning Manna
and to a future online Bible school for children.
Doc Burkhardt and I will be here Monday,
bright and early Monday morning as usual
to teach the Word of God in the Morning
Manna podcast.
We have plans to greatly increase the distribution of Morning Manna on many social media platforms
and podcast platforms.
Now for the immediate future, Morning Manna will be on the Faith and Values platform and
on truenews.com.
Eventually, faithandvalues.com will become morningmana.com
and truenews.com will become rickwiles.com.
And I'll continue to post unique things on rickwiles.com.
I may do some news commentary from time to time, but it's not
going to be a daily thing. It'll be when I feel impressed to do something. Now, those
changes will happen sometime in the month of May. I started this podcast 26 years ago
in May 1999. Back then, the only alternative news talk show hosts were Alex
Jones, Steve Quayle, and me, plus a handful of other short-wave radio programs that no
longer exist, and a number of those radio hosts have passed away. I often quit that I was podcasting before there were pods, meaning Apple released the iPod
in 2004 and podcasting was invented in 2006. But I was podcasting in 1999 by streaming live on the
internet and hosting mp3 audio files for downloading. We were ahead of our time.
hosting MP3 audio files for downloading. We were ahead of our time.
True News was also on over 100 radio stations years ago.
And it has been an amazing journey.
I never planned to stay this long.
In fact, if you knew me in 1999, I
thought the program would last six months
because I would run out of things to say.
Well, 26 years later, I'm still running my mouth, still saying things.
But back then, I didn't think it could last more than six months.
I want to express my most sincere appreciation to those of you
who have supported me for
so many years. I gotta get through this. Some of you were with me when I started
in Dallas Fort Worth in 1999 and I can't tell you how much that means to me that you remained a
loyal supporter for 26 years. I remember a conversation with my son Jeremy on
May 24 2009. We were celebrating our 10th anniversary and we were amazed. I was amazed that True News had lasted 10 years.
And Jeremy said, Dad, you are not going anyway.
You're not going away for a long time.
And I asked him what he meant.
And Jeremy said, Dad, when your audience stays with a program for a decade, they
will stay with your program another 10 years.
You will celebrate your 20th anniversary." Well that was hard to believe, but Jeremy
was right, and we celebrated our 20th anniversary on May 2019. And here I am,
six years later, wrapping it up on the 26th anniversary month, anniversary
year of May 2025.
So let me say it again.
Thank you for supporting me for so many years.
Your support enabled me to fulfill God's assignment. Now the Lord is redirecting me to Morning Manor and a future online Bible school for
children.
He also desires me to write books about the kingdom of God.
So I want to emphasize again, I am not retiring.
I am not quitting.
I am not going away. I'm simply stepping away from the job of hosting
true news and stepping into the position of being a full-time Bible teacher and author.
I am not the only media person who is making a big radical change in their daily schedules this week. Yesterday, I saw a video of Steve Doocy announcing
that he is stepping away from being a full-time co-host
of Fox and Friends on the Fox News Channel.
As I watched Mr. Doocy's video, I smiled and I said
to my screen as I was watching him,
yes Steve, do it. I know how you feel. Congratulations. Let's watch. I want you
to see Steve Doocy's announcement and then Dr. Burkhart will join me after this video.
Do you remember that 80s Dunkin Donuts commercial where the alarm clock goes off at 3.30?
Time to make the donuts.
Well, for the last 30 years,
when my alarm clock goes off at 3.30,
if it wakes up my wife, Kathy,
she always says, it's time to make the donuts.
And I say, you're right, it's time to make the donuts.
And I get up and I go to work.
You know how many mornings my alarm has gone off at 3.30?
Well, according to AI, 6,828 times.
And that ladies and gentlemen, is a lot of donuts.
It is a great job, but the hours suck.
Ainsley and I have talked about this for years,
about how hard it is to dash back
from wherever we are in the weekends
to be live on this couch at 6 a.m. on Monday.
But we have to because the curvy couch
is an important part of the show,
which brings me to this public service announcement.
After decades of getting up at 3.30
and driving into New York City in the dark,
today is the last day I will host this show from the couch. I'm not retiring,
I'm not leaving the show. I'm still a host, but it's time for a change. Suzanne Scott, the CEO
of Fox News Media and a friend of mine for over 30 years and I have been trying to figure out what
a guy who's been getting up at 330 for two generations should do next. And Suzanne gave me a great option to keep working
on this show, just not every day.
So from now on, I am working three days a week.
Essentially, it's the Johnny Carson show deal.
Remember, Johnny worked his three days in Burbank
and I will be based in Florida,
which means you may never see me in a necktie again.
Well, Florida is strategic because it's going to make it easier for me to report from Florida
and other parts of America that don't get a lot of network airtime.
I'll be going from the Carolinas to the Keys, from middle America to Mar-a-Lago.
So call me the Coast to Coast host.
So when my kids were growing up, I never had breakfast with them.
I was always here.
Kathy did everything.
But starting tomorrow, I'm going to have breakfast with my grandkids and my children whenever I can.
I'm transitioning from, it's time to make the donuts, to it's time to make the breakfast, Grandpa.
Now step on it.
By the way, lots of great breakfast ideas in our number one best selling series.
Still available everywhere.
Tomorrow Kathy and I are going to go to DC to meet our two week old grandson, George,
my son Peter and his wife, Hillary, and their two year old, Bridget, will get the first
batch of coast to coast toast, French toast.
And then we're off to Dallas where Sally and her husband, Ali, just moved in to a brand new house
with their two-year-old son, Arthur.
They needed more space because Sally's having a boy in July.
And LJ tells me Dallas is really beautiful
in the month of July.
And my daughter slash lawyer, Mary,
and her husband, Marshall, always need help
with their dog, Peanut.
So Gaga and Grandpa are hitting the road to spoil all of our kids and our grandkids.
Not with stuff, per se, but just by being there.
So they're already stocking up the fridge
with formula and Chardonnay,
which they call Grandpa's medicine.
I will continue to join the couch crew for commentary.
You've trusted me for all these years,
and don't worry, you will still hear my voice
and my opinions loud and clear,
despite whatever seasonal pollen is killing me.
And today I looked up it's tree pollen.
There is one downside.
I have a lot of friends in this skyscraper.
I'm gonna miss seeing them in person.
The security guys, the cafe crew, especially the hair and makeup team,
because they are geniuses at what they do.
Exhibit A, ladies and gentlemen.
And the closest to my heart, the Fox and Friends team working day and night,
producing America's number one cable morning news show.
And our leader, all-star producer Megan Albano, who's standing right there,
gets a special shout out because she is going to help me make my new schedule work.
And for that, I am eternally grateful.
The studio and control room crews have lots of folks I've worked alongside for decades.
That's why it makes it hard.
Why don't we just leave now, Rick?
I'm crying with Steve Ducey and he's crying about missing his team.
Look I've got to thank Doc Burkhart.
He's not going away but I want to thank him.
He's been a co-host of this program.
Did you start 2015 as a co-host?
Yes.
Okay.
We were still audio.
Yes.
And I love that format that we had we had the roundtable radio style format and
Doc I
Brought Doc into the team not as a co-host, but he was he was a manager
well, and how it started is I
Needed somebody fill on as board op for a few days because our board operator was gone. So I was running the board
and you started asking me questions behind the mic there.
And I was like, okay, I'm in.
Yes, but I remember this.
I would ask Doc a question about some geopolitical event
and he would go, yes.
Well, say something else, all right.
Or no, that's it, One word, you know? Now...
You can't shut me up, man.
Doc, you have come a long way in understanding geopolitical issues.
I mean, you've become quite a commentator. But that was 2015.
Yes.
And then, I guess, we went video, was it 2017?
Officially 2017.
We spent most of 2016 getting ready to go to video.
We started video in 2017.
So Doc's been here with me the whole time, 10 years as a co-host.
You know
Steve Ducey I Didn't know he was retiring. I didn't think he'd ever retire. Okay
You know, he's been I didn't realize he'd been there 30 years. Yes. I didn't know that he where did 30 years go by
so Steve will be I've never met mr. Ducey, but Steve will be
69 this year. I will be, and I've never met Mr. Ducey, but Steve will be 69 this year, I will be
72 this year.
He has been getting out of bed for 30 years at 3.30 a.m., I'm getting out of bed at 4
a.m., but I wake up at 3 and just wait on the alarm to go off.
I should just get up at three. Steve has a long commute to the Fox Studios in downtown
New York City. We're not driving into New York City, but Susan and I have a we have about a
35 minute drive on I-95 and some back county roads to get here every day. So that's 70 minutes of
driving day after day after day for years. Steve has missed
many family events over 30 years. I too have missed many family events.
Susan and I have had three maybe four vacations in 26 years.
You just you can't leave. Anybody who owns a small business, you know I'm
talking about if you own a restaurant, a gas station, a convenience store, you can't leave anybody who owns a small business, you know, I'm talking about if you own a restaurant a gas station
convenience store
You can't leave. Yes
Who's gonna run it you have to be there and and so that's the way it's been here for for us and
Susan's health has not been good for the past 13 years
And she gets up every morning at 5 a.m.
to be ready to leave the house at seven
because it takes her a while because she,
with her arthritis and stiffness in the mornings,
it takes her longer to get ready.
But she keeps coming to work and I want her to retire
and stay at home but she won't.
So I have to change my schedule.
That's what I'm doing.
I have to change my schedule to get her to stay at home
and bring it down a little bit, all right?
I feel healthy.
I'm energetic.
Yes, I mean, do you always have tremendous energy?
If we go to Barcelona or
any of these international events, it's it's difficult for
me to keep up with Rick. He's got an 11 year head start on me
and I have a difficult time at times keeping up with him.
I get charged up. I get my I get an energy rush. I get
adrenaline when I go to those events. So I'm really pumped and I want to go. But Barcelona this past year, I was
dragging at night by the time we were getting back.
Maybe you were slowing down enough to my speed then.
Because we weren't getting back to the apartment until nine,
10 o'clock at night and then up early in the morning again to
go. But I enjoy it.
And but your pace is changing.
Yes, I've got to keep telling myself that I'm not 42 I'm 72 I'll be 72 in the summer and I have to tell myself you're not 42 and in 10 years you're gonna be
82 that's hard for me to believe like I gotta get my calculator and look I go
that thing's lying. There's no way I'm gonna be 82 years old in 10 years.
And so I've been thinking for months, what do I want to be doing when I'm 82?
Do I really want Susan and me at our age to be driving on the highway every day, coming in here,
managing a staff, dealing with all kinds of issues, having a giant payroll, all the things that
we have to do.
I really want to be doing that at 82.
And that's not even counting the investment of time that you spend each day in researching
the news, which is a full-time job in itself, folks.
And I'm doing two podcasts per day.
Right.
You know, morning manna requires a lot of preparation to teach a one-hour Bible
class five days a week. Most pastors teach one Bible class per week.
You can teach them five. And it's an investment of time. And so, you know, I've been
praying about it, and when I went to South Carolina, the Lord clearly told me
He was finished with true news. Now you
know, over 26 years, especially the last, I don't know, six, seven, eight years,
there have been various people who tried to retire me, you know. They made their own
efforts to retire me. Some threatened to kill me. Others deplatformed me.
They did all kinds of things.
And it didn't work.
I am stepping away from this job at my own choosing.
At my time.
Not forcing you.
Yeah.
Okay.
And you're healthy.
I'm healthy.
You're not having to step down because of health reasons.
If I wanted to go another five years
I could do this. I just don't want to do it anymore. I don't want to spend time in news.
It's been, it's the last I would say four or five years. It's been having a
detrimental impact on my spirituality,
my peace of mind,
because you have to look at so much garbage.
While you're looking for the news
that you're gonna talk about, you have to see
just tons of horrible news stories
that you're wading through trying to find the articles
you wanna talk about.
There's mass shootings and slaughters and
genocide and you know it's like oh it's and it's going into your mind you're seeing it hour after
hour after hour and I've done this for 26 years I'm like I'm done I don't want to do it anymore.
I just want to read the word of God and study the word of God and teach the word of God and
there are plenty of other people out there doing news shows now.
So I want to talk about what we will be doing in the future.
As I said, I've got plenty of energy.
I'm not planning.
I'm not going to the rocking chair.
That's what one thing I really admire about Donald Trump.
He's 78?
79. 79? That man goes. Yes. Oh, I hope at 79 I
have I still have his energy. Yes. That man is like he's got a small nuclear reactor in him. Okay. So I am going to pace myself for Susan's sake.
I do have to slow my pace down so she will slow down.
That means spending more time working at home instead of coming in here, okay?
We're going to downsize our operation and become leaner and more efficient. Fewer employees rely more on outsourcing,
specific tasks and projects, eventually move to smaller offices or work remotely from homes,
which is probably what we're going to do, be a virtual organization.
Technology has changed so much in the 26 years I've been doing this work that it's now easy
to do things that were impossible just five years ago.
That's so true. When we got started in 99,
somebody, an owner of a
AM radio station
gave us an old wooden radio board. I'm talking about board.
The control board. It was wooden.
Wooden. Yes, it was made out of of wood probably made by Marconi himself big old wooden box with the knobs on it I was like a
kid it gave him a toy train I was like this is mine I was so excited. I didn't have anything. Yes.
We scrounged up $500 and bought a professional microphone. That was a
big investment. My first studio was a walk in closet. We use
carpet. We put carpet on the walls, right for soundproofing.
We use carpet. We put carpet on the walls for soundproofing. And that's how we got started.
And, you know, we've come a long way.
And over the years we built, you know, a state-of-the-art television production center
that would rival anything in the state of Florida. But technology has changed so much
since we purchased that equipment years ago
that now it's miniaturized, it's inexpensive.
Right.
I mean, in my studio that I do, Morning Man,
I got a teeny weeny little camera.
Here we're still using in this studio, the big old television
studio cameras with the the monitors and everything that's
on it, you know, the teleprompters. But you don't
have to do that anymore. Right. And so what's happening now is
young podcasters are coming on board with very little
investment and having higher production quality than what we could do years ago spending a million Right. So the whole the whole industry has changed. Plus, there's an influx of a lot of new
podcasters. Everybody's well, those costs have come down for entry. And so it used to be there was a
high entry point and you know, broadcast operations costs. But that price point has come
down. That's why you see so many new faces and new voices out there, hear new voices.
You can put up a studio in your home now.
Right, and most of them are.
Most of them are in their homes.
So, the technology has changed
and the way broadcasting is done now,
it's podcasting, video casting,
has radically changed, not just over 26 years,
but most of that change has occurred just within the past five or six years. video casting has radically changed, not just over 26 years,
but most of that change has occurred
just within the past five or six years.
Big, big changes.
So anyhow, again, we're not going away,
but we are going to change the way we do things.
We will continue, Doc and I will continue
to teach morning manna live at 8 a.m. Eastern
every Monday through Friday. As I said at the beginning of this program,
we will greatly expand the distribution of Morning Manna to social media
platforms and podcast platforms. We will also produce and post on Faith and Values platform,
Bible courses on specific themes. Like right now, we've been just going through
one book at a time.
Right.
But we will have courses on say,
where did the rapture doctrine come from?
Is it biblical?
Right.
Is it sound doctrine?
Who are the four horsemen of apocalypse? Explaining the book of Revelation.
How do we make our prayers more effective? Is healing for everybody today? So these are
courses that we will have on our platform. I can't do that now because I don't have
the time because of true news. Starting Monday, I have time. So later this summer, God willing, we, we would like to launch the morning
manna breakfast club stream, which could be a three to six hour live stream with
music and interviews and Bible study and so forth is just just it's an idea that we're working on.
We also plan to start morning man of breakfast clubs
in numerous cities and Doc and I will visit a city
every month and we'll have breakfast with you.
I can't get out of here with true news.
Right.
But now I'm free.
And so we're gonna start moving around the country,
having breakfast with people every month. The big project, as I said, will be the
Ark Bible School, an online religious education platform for children,
starting with ages three to seven. We're going to have morning NANA booklets
available with my teaching notes in them.
Which will be a valuable resource so you can teach others as well.
We want you to take our notes and teach others.
My new book, Megafar, there's the cover.
Megafar hopefully it will be available by July. And as you can see, the cover is
going to be, the cover has a very serious message. It says America's next fourth turning
crisis. So we will let you know when Megafire is in the bookstores and at Amazon.
I'm expecting it will be hopefully early July.
And should we expect more books in the future?
Expect a steady stream of books.
That's all I'm going to do.
I'm going to write books and make Bible courses.
That's it.
I'm going to teach and write.
That's what Paul did, you know, the apostle Paul.
Yeah, but he did it in prison. That's right.
I'm going to try to stay out of prison.
So you try to avoid prison.
And I do, we are going to travel, and I like to go back
getting out in the foreign mission field.
It's been years since I've been in a foreign country
preaching the gospel.
I miss it, I wanna go.
It's the most exciting thing you'll ever do
is to go into the remotest places of the world
and preach the gospel and watch the Holy Spirit move.
And I wanna do it again.
I don't wanna go to my grave
having missed that excitement again.
Doc, a week or two ago, I think it was on our Thursday night prayer meeting, you told people
about when you were a kid and you would enter, you know, things from your garden in the county fair.
Right.
And things that you learned about what you had to do.
And you told a pumpkin story.
Yes.
Well, I was in 4-H, you know, as a young teen and every year you had a project in
4-H, it could have been raising a hog or, you know, or anything, or it could be
preparing for the Missouri State Fair.
Everybody wanted to take their items to the Missouri State Fair.
And so I got talked into by my grandfather of raising a State Fair pumpkin, a blue ribbon
pumpkin.
And that sounded pretty low maintenance and something I
could handle and everything. So we started out the beginning of the season planting you know our
pumpkin plots and everything and within just a couple weeks you had vines already starting to
form. And initiatives just have the biggest pumpkin in the county. That's it. You want to have the
biggest best looking pumpkin in the county. So you want a blue-ribbon pumpkin. All
right, that's what you're looking for, a blue-ribbon pumpkin. But what a lot of people don't realize,
to get to a blue-ribbon pumpkin, you have to go through a lot of other ribbon pumpkins, let's say.
And so the first few weeks, the vines are growing and everything. And then one day,
And so the first few weeks, the vines are growing and everything. And then one day it's almost as if God turned on a light.
Suddenly every single vine had flowers on them.
And each one of those places where there was a flower has the potential to become a pumpkin.
And I still remember that first day when all the flowers bloomed,
my grandfather took me down and he said,
now Ray, what we're going to do is we're going to cut out about half these vines.
I said, what? Half these vines? And he was like, yeah,
and he all got blooms on. And he's all got blooms. I said, well,
grand, granddad, I mean, we're losing half the pumpkins here. He said, well, we're raising
blue ribbon pumpkins, right? We're, we. We're you know, so and so that
day, I still remember it was sad really, because I mean, the
big bright, beautiful flowers and we started chopping vines.
And it was very slimmed down and trimmed and then about two,
three weeks later, you saw the pumpkin start coming out and
everything, you know, they're green when they first first get started and you get about another couple weeks in allow some growth and
we went and did it again started clearing out vines again all right what's that had pumpkins on them
now they weren't that big they were still green maybe the size of baseballs or softballs
but we started just cutting them out and it it was a pain every time because I'm thinking,
my goodness, I could have a dozen prize pumpkins here
if I play this right, but no, granddad said,
no, this is the way to do it.
And then every couple of weeks over the course
of the summer, we'd go through that same process.
We finally got down to a time where the pumpkins
were starting to turn.
And we had to make a choice on what singular vine
we were going to focus on our efforts
in order to grow the prized pumpkin.
You were gonna save one vine.
One vine.
We were gonna just let the rest grow.
You were gonna sacrifice all the others. All the others, we're not even gonna worry about them. We're just gonna harvest let the rest grow. You're going to sacrifice all the others.
All the others, we're not even going to worry about them.
We're just going to harvest them at the end of the season,
maybe sell them, you know, and stuff like that.
So there's nothing wrong with them.
Nothing wrong. They're perfectly fine pumpkins.
They're doing what pumpkins should do.
That's right.
But if we wanted a blue ribbon pumpkin,
we had to focus on one vine.
And on this one vine, there were maybe like 10 pumpkins.
I still remember pulling five of them out, cutting them off the vine. And on this one vine, there were maybe by like 10 pumpkins, I still remember cutting, pulling five of them
out, cutting them off the vine. Why? Because even though they
were perfectly good pumpkins, they were taking away from the
growth of the prize that you're looking for. And then we always
have the State Fair at the end of August in Missouri. So about
the middle of August, we're down on that vine to
three pumpkins and they're really good looking pumpkins. In fact, two of them, you know,
either one of them could be a prize. But you had to make a choice. And that day that we had three
pumpkins and granddad said, all right, take those two off. We're making pie out of those.
And we have one pumpkin left and we were betting everything on that one pumpkin.
And so, I did get a blue ribbon at the state fair. I sure did. At the state fair? At the state fair.
No, state fair. And so, we got a blue ribbon at the state fair. But Rick. So what's the moral of the story? The moral of the story is even though, and Rick is a visionary, Rick, if you let him run wild out in the world, he's got a thousand ideas going at any given time.
And this ministry has implemented many of those ideas over the course of 26 years. But there comes a time where you have to get ready for the state fair.
And sometimes in the process of preparing
for that blue ribbon, that blue ribbon pumpkin,
you have to give up on some beautiful fruit that's growing.
Fruit that you've invested time and effort in.
You've spent your whole summer loving these pumpkins really. And you have to say that one is going to be the
blue ribbon one. And so that's where we're at right now. The Lord is telling us to
cut true news from the vine. Yes. Not that there's anything wrong with it. No.
But it's taking nutrients away from morning manna. Right. Not that there's anything wrong with it. No. But it's taking
nutrients away from morning manna. Right. What we feel now is the blue ribbon. The Lord wants
morning manna to be the blue ribbon podcast. Right. Do you get it? Do you understand? And
see why we're doing this to follow the Lord's instruction. There's nothing wrong with true news. It could
keep on going for another 10 years, but the Lord is saying it's robbing nutrients
and time and energy and resources from morning manna. The teaching of the
Word of God. You're diverting your time away. Cut true news. Let it die off and focus on this
morning manna vine and let it become the Blue Ribbon podcast. There was a book that was out,
I think it's now been close to 10 years, called From Good to Great. The author's last name was Collins. I can't remember his first name. But it was a
great book. But the one thing he pointed out in that book is the enemy of great isn't failure,
isn't bad. The enemy of great is good because you can get so distracted with good things
because you can get so distracted with good things that it takes your eyes off the great things.
And I'm remembered in Hebrews chapter 12,
where Paul says, we must run the race with patience,
looking toward the prize that is before us.
We can't be distracted by the other runners.
We can't be distracted by the crowd in the stand.
The only thing that we
need to be concerned with is the prize, the prize, and to run toward the prize. And over these past
six months or so, as the Holy Spirit's been speaking to Rick, and it started way before
Myrtle Beach, but Myrtle Beach is where it kind of all started coalescing together.
Where it was apparent that there was a new vision and a new passion that was being stirred.
And we've gone through that pruning process over these past six months trying to determine
there's so many things, Lord, for us to do.
We had to pick the pumpkins.
Right. And there were some
very good things that we could do and we could accomplish, but it would take our
eyes off the prize. And finally it was very clear to us the Lord was saying
that morning man of pumpkin, that's the one. Yeah. You're taking that one to the
state fair. Right. That's the one. Baby that one and let it grow big and just you're going to have to set aside a lot of other things
For me, I as doc said, you know, i'm a visionary. I have ideas i've got ideas
On drawing boards all the time, but the lord right now is saying to me put it all aside
Just put it aside.
Focus on morning manna and watch what I do.
Yes.
Maybe some of those other projects will be brought in later.
But right now it's morning manna and then later it's the online Bible school.
But first and foremost, it's morning manna.
So I again, I want to thank everybody who watched or listened to true news for years prayed for us donated to true news.
I cannot express how much you mean to me. God bless you. I hope you don't leave. Please stay with us. I know some of you are disappointed that your favorite
pumpkin has been cut from the vine, but I wanted Doc to tell that story so you
understand why we're doing it. The spiritual principle of pruning a
ministry. Again, we are not quitting. We're not retiring. We are recalibrating for a bigger, newer assignment.
And on Monday, Morning Manna will be on faithandvalues.com and on truenews.com.
For a few weeks or a month of May, it'll be on both.
We're not going to shut down the True News website right away.
It'll have Morning Manna there and this final episode will be there.
Later we will roll it over to anewmorningmanna.com and rickwiles.com.
But again, that's probably a month away.
We have work that we have to do.
I want to thank our awesome team. I love these young men and women and if I say
too much I'm gonna break down and start crying again. Letting them go this week
dismissing them from their jobs was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. And I am going
to miss them. Deeply miss them. Pray for them. I know the Lord will provide new jobs for
them. They're young, they're creative, they're talented. Somebody will hire them. They'll
have new work, I'm certain. They've served the Lord here and God will honor them and give them new employment. I want to end by reminding you why we started. Why did
we start this program? And it goes back to 1998, April, as director of marketing of TBN, Trinity Broadcasting
Network, Irving, Texas.
And life was good for me.
I was doing well.
It was the best job I've ever had in my life and I was just happy.
And the Holy Spirit began dealing with me in March of 1998 to go on a fast and I kept ignoring
it and trying to tell the Lord, don't you see how busy I am working for you?
How am I going to fast?
I've got meetings, I'm flying here, I'm doing this, I've got breakfast meetings, lunch meetings,
dinner meetings.
I'm doing all this for TBN and for you Lord, I can't go on a fast.
But He kept pressing me going
to fast. So by April, sometime around the third week of April, I finally went on that fast and
one day, probably the third or fourth day of that fast, the Holy Spirit said to me, it's about 2 p.m.
I want you to go to the chapel. TBN had a chapel on the fourth floor.
He said, I want you to go to the chapel.
I want to meet you there.
Heard it very clear.
Told the receptionist, hey, I got to go over to the chapel.
I'll be back in a few minutes.
I thought, I'm just going to over pray for a couple minutes
and come back.
Right.
That's not how it worked.
When I went into that chapel, I didn't see God
and I didn't hear God, but he was there.
And I'll tell you how I know.
His holiness was there.
This place was saturated with holiness.
And I felt like Adam in the Garden of Eden,
hiding behind a tree because I knew I was naked. I felt like Adam in the Garden of Eden,
hiding behind a tree because I knew I was naked.
That's what I felt like. Like I'm in the presence of Almighty God.
Wow.
And I'm just me.
And I'm naked right now.
And I've said this before, people talk about, well, if Jesus walked in the room, I'd jump
up and down.
No, you wouldn't.
No, you wouldn't.
You'll fall on your face.
You let him walk in the room and see what you do.
You're going to fall on your face and quiver.
His presence is overwhelming, though.
Yes. You have no idea the holiness that's around him.
Anyhow, he dealt with me
on some issues, I repented, and he restored
me, and then
this is the truth folks, it was like a movie screen.
Like a flat screen. And back then he didn't have flat folks. It was like a movie screen, like a flat screen.
And back then they didn't have flat screens. This is 1998. This was a flat screen, like augmented reality.
It was a flat screen that appeared and like suspended in the room.
And I'm watching a movie. And it's an American city on fire. Right.
And skyscrapers burning and smoke billowing out and destruction and rubble.
It was a city that looked like, it was a modern American city, but it looked like Gaza.
That's what it looked like, Gaza.
Think of New York City flattened like Gaza.
And I saw survivors, refugees coming out of the city and they weren't on the road, they
were on the streets and roads, they were in fields.
And one man was pulling a wagon with his children in it.
Another man was pushing a wheelbarrow with his mother in it.
And they were all in shock and traumatized, like they couldn't believe they survived what happened there.
I never was told what it was. I just saw the aftermath of a fire.
And I said, God, what am I seeing? And he said, this is your nation's future if your country doesn't repent.
And I said, why are you showing this to me?
And he said, because I'm calling you today
to tell your nation to repent.
And I said, what am I supposed to say?
He goes, tell them to repent.
Tell your country to come back.
This doesn't have to happen.
Tell them to come back.
This doesn't have to happen. Tell them to come back. Well, I was stunned, I was shocked by what happened.
I went home, I went back to my office. I didn't tell anybody at TBN.
And I went home and I didn't tell my wife. My son and daughter were still living at home at that time.
Jeremy was, I think, a freshman in college. Carissa was 22 years old.
You know, so I didn't say a word to them. I didn't say, guess what happened to me today?
I went into a trance and saw a flat screen and a movie. That's what I did day at work. I didn't tell anybody. But the next morning,
in the morning as I was preparing to go to work, Carissa said to me,
Dad, Jesus spoke to me last night.
I said, do you had a dream about Jesus?
She said, no, it wasn't a dream.
So this is the night of the day you had your vision.
Yes.
I had mine at like two o'clock in the afternoon
and then that night when she went to bed Jesus appeared to her and
Spoke and she didn't know anything about what happened to me
And I said so you dreamed about Jesus should know he walked up and stood next to my bed
I didn't wake up, but I knew he was standing there and I've had that experience in my life
And I said what did he say Chris Carissa said, he said, daughter, beginning tonight,
I will speak to you about the end times
through dreams and visions.
And he gave her two dreams, two end time dreams.
The first one, she said, it was me, Susan,
Jeremy and Carissa, neither one of them
were married at the time, they're single,
and we're huddled together and we're surrounded by thousands of people who
were rotating around us like a carousel. But she said they were all skeletons.
Wow. And she said I remember looking into the sockets of their skulls and their
long bony arms and fingers and they were stretching
forth their bony arms and pointing at you with bony fingers and they were
crying at you dad in a loud voice and they said if you knew this was going to
happen why didn't you tell us? The end of the dream and she chrissa and she goes, Dad, I don't know what God's telling you
to do, but you better do it.
So I told her what happened.
And I made a vow that moment.
That moment, I made a vow.
I will do whatever I must do.
I will obey you, God.
I don't know how to do this. I don't know what to do
That was April of 98
By the summer the Lord told me your your time at TVN is over
Give Paul Crouch your resignation and leave I
Paul Crouch your resignation and leave. I did that and I think it was the day after Labor Day,
1998, was my last day at TBN and I walked out into the parking lot to my car and drove away and
Never looked back and I've been doing going on that energy
That was the rocket that sent me out it was like I was propelled out with energy Holy Spirit
dunamis power Just propelled me out and I've been doing this now for 20 actually
27 years because you count 98 right the podcast the radio show started in 99 so
it's 26 26 years so that's how this all started I think it's interesting Rick
that you know it started with this vision that you had confirmed by
Charissa's vision and other visions that have come along since then.
And now you've got a new book coming out, Manifire.
And it tells a whole story in the book.
And it's almost like the Lord has put bookends on true news here.
As if it started with a vision and now we're going to tell this vision one more time.
Yes.
We're going to give a complete recollection of this vision.
We're going to publish it and put it out there one more time.
Yes.
And the last sentence in the book is, I have completed my assignment. That's the last sentence. I have completed my
assignment as far as that work that was given to me in 1998. And so in the book
Megafire, I tell the whole story. And the story goes back to getting saved in 78, and the dream that the Lord gave me of the underground tunnel
with the hybrid human soldiers that were there.
That was 78, and he showed me they've got soldiers underground that aren't human.
That's how I started going to church.
You weren't even saved yet.
I wasn't saved and God gave me that dream.
I woke up, it was on a Sunday morning
and I looked at Susan and she said,
do you want to go to church?
I said, yes.
Yeah, I do.
Yeah, I do.
I was shaking.
So I tell it all in this book, Megafire.
So when I was at Myrtle Beach, the Lord really opened my eyes to understand,
Rick, all this that you've been seeing in the Spirit since 98, actually since 78.
It's coming together now in a big war that's coming in the 2030s.
a big war that's coming in the 2030s. That's why the book is titled, Megafire.
Doc, there was one day sometime back around 2010, 2011,
when the financial crisis was underway,
the bank liquidity crisis, the mortgage crisis,
real estate collapse.
And I was going through my mind at night, I was getting ready to go to bed, and I was
thinking about, I was processing news, always processing, what am I going to say tomorrow
on true news?
Help the people understand.
And the Holy Spirit said, Rick, you're telling your audience to prepare for a financial collapse.
You should be telling them to prepare to survive the fire.
That's why this book is called Mega Fire.
The mega fire is coming.
I've done my assignment.
I have spent 26 years telling people this fire is coming. I've done my assignment. I have spent 26 years telling people this fire is coming.
It's now time to stop warning people. It's time to get ready for the fire. And that's what we're
doing here. We're getting souls ready for the fire. And unfortunately, there are going to be many
people who are going to walk away from true news and just go looking for more news. You need to
listen to the voices of the Lord coming through ministries like this. We're guiding you towards
the second coming of Christ.
There are many things that have to happen
before he comes back.
That's where I'm gonna be spending my focus.
And I hope you stay with this ministry.
We're not going away, we're not shutting down.
We're expanding, we're growing,
but we're going in a different direction.
And we've cut the true news pumpkin off the vine.
Because the Lord said, you got to let it go. You've got to let this morning man of Bible teaching grow.
That's what he wants done.
And I hope many of you will stay with us.
I hope all of you will stay with us.
And watch where this ministry grows and watch where we go in the years ahead.
Doc told me the other day,
he said, I'm not quitting this place.
I gotta see how the story ends.
That's right.
Doc is my brother and we are co-laborers for Jesus Christ.
And I appreciate him being with me in this journey. Thank you,
thank you, thank you. God bless you and I hope you're with us Monday morning.
Morning Man is coming up right now with this feed and it's, it's a keeper.
It was a good session.
You want to watch this one?
You want, I felt free this morning.
I felt free. I thought, you know what?
I could, I'm feeling myself stepping into this anointing.
Yes.
I could feel it this morning.
Yeah.
And I've gotten so many messages from people, uh, throughout the morning here,
just saying,
there was something different today, something extra today.
And it was a lesson.
I didn't have a lesson.
That was the thing.
I didn't have a lesson.
But it all came together exactly as the Lord desired.
And we're taking a step of faith here, folks.
Yes, we are.
But it's not a blind faith.
It's a faith in the faithfulness of God. Yes
Our faith is in him that he is who he is
Does what he says he'll do will always be who he says he is. He is the great. I am he's not the great
I was
He's still the I am and
He's not the great I was
He's still the I am and
He wants to be the great I am in your life. So that's where we will be Monday morning 8 a.m. And
We will be streaming this this morning matter
Lesson out and but there will be they're not gonna be a 3 p.m
Feed Unless we feed out
morning matter, but I don't know. I, we haven't even talked about that.
Nope.
But we'll figure it out.
We'll let you know next week.
All right.
Love you so much.
Enjoy your weekend.
God bless you.

Good morning, everybody.
Welcome to Morning Man.
It's Faith Friday.
And every Friday in the year 2025, we are focusing on
faith. What is faith? How do we build our faith? How do we use our faith? How do we
obtain more faith? What can we do with faith? These are the topics that we're talking about
today. And we'll be talking about it every Friday throughout 2025.
Today is an interesting day for me and for Doc.
For me, I'm saying goodbye to 26 years of ministry
at True News, but I'm also saying hello
to a new chapter of ministry of Morning Manna.
So Morning Manna has been secondary in our ministry.
When I say secondary, it was the second podcast that we started just a few years ago, and
True News was always the engine pulling the train.
Well, now we're, we're decoupling and now morning manna will be on its own. And true
news is going to be his is being retired today. It's being taken off the track. And we now are going to watch and see
what God does with morning manna, what
He does with you, me, Doc, each one of us.
So it's an exciting time.
It was like it was when I started.
True news, 26 years ago in the month of May of 1999, I stepped away from my job at TBN.
I had a successful career there, could have stayed there for the rest of my life.
But the Lord called me and said, step out in faith and follow me. And I remember the day, my last day at TBN
when I walked out into the parking lot
and looked up to where my office was on the second floor
and just glanced around and said goodbye,
got in my car and drove away and never looked back.
And that's how this all started.
That was September 1998.
That's the day it all started.
The day I walked out and said goodbye and never looked back and said,
here I am Lord, not much, do something with it,
whatever you can do, I'm here.
And so that's what we've done for 26 years.
First year I traveled, I traveled around teaching
and speaking at various places, including Great Britain.
And then the program started May 1999. So it comes to an end today. It needed to come
to an end. All things have an ending. All things. Everything has an ending, including your life and my life.
It all has an ending at some point. So today is Faith Friday and
I asked the Lord early this morning what I should talk about. I didn't prepare a lesson last night.
what I should talk about. I didn't prepare a lesson last night. I'm emotionally not focused on it. But he gave me something this morning to talk about. And so doc, if we can turn
to the book of Acts, chapter 19. Okay. And I'm going to have you read verses 1 through 12. Let's pray. Dear Heavenly Father,
we come to you with humility and brokenness and love and admiration and worship and praise.
Father, we thank you that you are our God and our Father. We thank you that you have a heart of love
and mercy and goodness and grace.
And so Father, we are gathered here today
to be taught about faith.
And we invite the Holy Spirit to take his seat
at the head of the table and speak through us
about faith and
Enlighten us and build our faith so that we can do great exploits in the kingdom of God in the last days
according to the book of Daniel so father
Bless this morning manna lesson in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Amen. And if you've got your Bibles, please turn with me to Acts chapter 19.
Acts chapter 19. And this is Paul at Ephesus. And so, today on Faith Friday, we're going to be
focusing on this message here, verses 1 through 12.
So if you'll read with me, I'm reading from the King James,
and it came to pass that while Apollos was at Corinth,
Paul having passed through the upper coast came to Ephesus and finding
certain disciples. He said unto them, have you received the
Holy Ghost since you believed? And they said unto
him, we have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost since you believed. And they said unto him, we have not so much as heard
whether there be any Holy Ghost.
And he said unto them,
unto what then were you baptized?
And they said unto John's baptism.
Then said Paul,
John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance,
saying unto the people that they should believe on him,
which should come after him,
that is on Christ Jesus.
When they heard this they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid
his hands upon them the Holy Ghost came on them and they spake with tongues and prophesied.
And all the men were about 12. Verse 8, and he went into the synagogue and spake
boldly for the space of three months disputing and persuading the things
concerning the kingdom of God. But when divers were hardened and believe not,
but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them and
separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.
And this continued by the space of two years,
so that all that which dwelt in Asia
heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
And God brought special miracles by the hands of Paul,
so that from his body were brought
unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons,
and the diseases
departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them." Acts chapter 19 verses 1-12.
Amen. Okay, so let's first look at the context of these verses. Paul was in the city of Ephesus. He taught the gospel in the local
synagogue for three months, but he ended his teachings there when the hearts of many Jews
were hardened against him and Jesus and the gospel. The verses say that he spent another two years in the city.
So you got three months and then two years.
Verses nine and ten said, but when many were hardened and believe not, but spoke evil of
that way, the way of the Lord before the multitude, he departed from them.
And he separated the disciples and he disputed daily in the school of one Tyranus.
And this continued by the space of two years
so that all they that dwelt in Asia
heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
Now, we're gonna focus on the last two verses that Doc read, verses 11 and 12.
But they follow, those two verses follow Paul's teaching in the synagogue and in the hall
of Tyranus.
And those verses precede the incident with the sons of Tyranus. And those verses precede the incident
with the sons of Sceva.
So it's sandwiched here.
While he was disputing, presenting, arguing,
teaching the gospel in the school.
And then before he confronted the sons of Sceva, some of you I remember, we talked
in the book of Acts, we talked about the sons of Sceva. They were sorcerers.
They were sorcerers. They were Jewish magicians, Kabbalists.
So I'm trying to give you the context of what's happening here.
Ephesus was a major center of pagan worship.
It was the home of Artemis. It was a hub of occult practices, magic, idolatry.
They had an idol factory there, probably several of them,
but it was a major center for producing silver idols
that were distributed all throughout Asia Minor. And so it was a city that was revolved around pagan worship
and pagan culture and the whole industry of Ephesus
was wrapped around idolatry.
And if Sam Altman had been alive at that time,
he probably would have built a factory
to manufacture orbs to scan eyeballs. And if sam altman had been alive at that time he probably would have built a factory to
manufacture orbs to scan eyeballs
That's right
I'm saying that and just because i'm trying to give you the idea of the the spiritual
Temperature of the city
It wasn't good
It was witchcraft occ occultism, magic, idolatry.
Yet, Paul was there in ministry, teaching the word,
preaching the word.
There were conversions, there were baptisms,
there were the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
So even in that wicked city,
God was doing a work among the people.
And so we're gonna talk about the last two verses,
verses 11 and 12,
and God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul. These special miracles
were a divine strategy to overcome Ephesus' spiritual strongholds.
They were a divine strategy to draw attention to the gospel amid a culture steeped in sorcery.
So this demonstrates God's power
to authenticate the gospel
amid strong spiritual opposition
and to confront spiritual darkness.
and to confront spiritual darkness.
Now, traditional religious teaching in today's churches,
not all of them, but many,
claims that the special miracles were meant only for Ephesus and only for the time that Paul was there. In other words, the
special miracle ceased after Paul departed the city. And many would teach
that they never appeared again in Paul's ministry. That it was a one-time demonstration of God's power.
These churches that teach this, and I'm not slamming them, I'm just saying this is their
perspective, that they don't deny the miracles took place.
They don't deny that there were special miracles.
They agree, yes, there were special miracles.
We agree.
But the special miracles were only for that time during those two years and never again. And it was a special dispensation in Paul's ministry.
It never happened again. So you have to ask the question, why do they teach this? Why? Why do they teach this? I'll tell you why. Because they don't expect
to see miracles. Yes. They don't expect it. I joke around, they believe that God's
power petered out when Peter petered out. That, you know, that once the
apostolic age was over, or even after Paul left Ephesus here, that miracles and
things like that ceased. We didn't need them
anymore. They'll usually do the fallback. It sounds holy and everything. Well, we don't need
it anymore because we have the Word of God. We have the completed canon and that replaced any need
for special miracles. Paul was preaching the Word for two years here in Ephesus, and miracles were in place.
What do you think Paul was preaching there?
The Word.
That's right. So it doesn't make any sense other than it sounds like it's an excuse for there not to
be an expectation for the miraculous in the believer's life.
Yes, that's exactly it.
So they say,
they say first of all,
these special miracles were only for a certain time,
they were only for a certain place, Ephesus,
only for a certain minister, Paul,
and only for a certain place, Ephesus, only for a certain minister, Paul, and only for a certain purpose, and that was to confront the sorcery and magic and idolatry that was in the culture.
So let me ask you this question.
Is there demonic power present in the world today? Is there occultism
in modern societies? Is there magic and idolatry today? Yes. Then why should we not believe that God would still perform special miracles to demonstrate his superior power
for the benefit of the people to believe him and trust him?
And Rick, I'm not doing that.
Wait a minute, Doc, I'm not done on this one yet.
Okay.
The devil's power hasn't gone away.
Yes. Witchcraft is still here idolatry still here sorcery still here why are we being told by churches that
the devil is still very much the devil but the Lord is not very much the Lord. Why are we being taught that? Wow.
You hit it on the head there, Rick.
Yes.
So we're being taught by religious people
that the devil is still the devil,
but God is not still the God.
still the God. That he decided 2,000 years ago to limit his power. But he's going to allow the devil to run free and expect the church to confront the devil and overpower
the devil without any special powers from heaven. Well, Paul didn't have the ability
to overcome the devil in Ephesus.
He needed special help from heaven.
That man was praying saying,
God, the spiritual strongholds here are powerful.
They're deep, they're dark.
I'm preaching my heart out. These people are
are bound in witchcraft and sorcery. There are magicians here. I need, I need extra help. Now
look, Paul, Paul had healings taking place wherever he went.
He had miracles wherever he went.
But when he gets to Ephesus, he goes, Lord, we've got to upgrade this.
I need special miracles.
I've got to, I need, you need to supersize the miracles.
I've got to have more help down here.
These people are really entrenched in wickedness.
So we get to Acts 19 verse 11, and God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul.
What are special miracles?
I'm impressed by miracles.
If I had not read verse 11, I wouldn't know that there are special miracles.
I'm blown away by a miracle.
Right. I mean what what blown away by a miracle right but no this is something different
this is a whole different category so it tells me that there's a class of
miracles above regular miracles just regular miracles this ordinary miracles
this is telling us that regular miracles ought to be normal.
We ought to be surprised by special miracles.
Praise God.
What Paul was saying to God was,
folks, he was saying,
Lord, these people are not impressed by miracles.
They've got magic not impressed by miracles.
They've got magicians that do miracles. I've got to have special miracles.
Lord, the healings, the deliverances,
the blind eyes being opened, the deaf ears being open,
the crippled legs being straightened out.
It's not enough for these people.
I need special miracles.
What else you got up there, Lord, what else?
Praise God.
Bring it on, I got it.
I need all the help I can get.
Paul was saying, I'm gonna crack this this city I'm gonna crack it open the devil's not gonna win in this
city I'm gonna crack this city open but I'm giving it everything I've got and
miracles are not enough Lord look around up there in heaven. What else you got?
Send me something more powerful, more amazing than miracles.
So special miracles are extraordinary acts of God.
See, there's ordinary acts of God.
I'm like, ordinary acts of God.
Hey, you need an eyeball, here's an eyeball.
All right.
You got crippled arms and legs.
Okay, I'll straighten them.
Those are ordinary acts of God.
Blows me away. I'm stunned. That is amazing. But a special miracle is not an ordinary act of God. It is when God says, I'm going to crank it up. I'm going
to supersize it. Praise God, Rick. Wow. We're going to beat that devil. Why would the Lord allow the devil to win?
See, you can cry out to God and say, I've got to have something more.
I've got to have something more to win this battle against the devil.
Those extraordinary acts of God were sent to authenticate the preaching of the gospel by Paul.
Yes.
To authenticate the word.
To affirm it. To ratify it.
The regular, ordinary, everyday miracles were not doing it.
Now, you would think that God in heaven would say,
well, you know what?
These people aren't satisfied with miracles.
I've healed their sick, I've removed tumors and cancers,
I've straightened out limbs.
I've put new eyeballs in people who had new eyes.
I opened ears and it's not enough.
You know, I'm done with these people.
Paul, leave, just leave.
I've done my best.
I gave them what I got.
my best. I gave him what I got. I did all the miracles in Ephesus that I did in Galilee. Just pack up and leave. But Paul
saying, Oh, God, please. Step it up. Come on, Father, step it
up. Do something bigger.
Do something more spectacular.
Praise God, Rick.
Hallelujah.
I know you can do it, God.
I know you've got miracles none of us have seen.
You're the God who parted the Red Sea.
You're the God who spoke the universe into existence.
You can do things that we have yet to see on earth. Help me Father. I'm trying
to crack this city wide open for the gospel of Christ. But the devil's power is strong in this city.
A hammer won't do it. I need a sledgehammer.
I need a jackhammer.
So,
these are not routine miracles.
They're not routine healings.
They are exceptional. These are not routine miracles. They're not routine healings.
They are exceptional.
They are beyond normal in scale and nature,
beyond the miracles normally performed by God through ministers of the gospel.
Went beyond healing the sick,
restoring sight to the blind, opening deaf ears.
They were acts of God that stunned people and left them in a state of all of God's power and
authority, including the Christians. Yes.
Yes
And these axes special miracles silence critics and
Shut the mouths of enemies of the gospel
The miracles surpassed anything done by the magicians in Ephesus
Kind of like in Genesis with Pharaoh's magicians and Moses.
Right.
People forget that the magicians could do powerful works.
And their power hasn't passed away, has it?
No it hasn't.
Neither has God's.
And if you just believe Him, if you just have faith,
He'll do it.
And if you need a supersized miracle, He'll do it.
But you've got to believe and you've got to ask.
But you got to believe and you got to ask. By the hands of Paul.
These special miracles were done by the hands of Paul. of God's use of humans to perform supernatural divine acts.
God didn't himself just make it happen.
For some reason, he used the physical hands of a human
to do special miracles.
The miracles were supernatural but the man was natural. Supernatural miracles supernatural miracles from a natural set of hands.
God used a saved sinner to perform extraordinary acts.
Do you think Satan constantly reminded Paul in Ephesus during those two years about his past,
about his unworthiness to speak for God, yet God worked through Paul's human hands, the same hands that
previously pulled Christian Jews from their homes to be beaten and jailed.
That's right. The very same hands. The same hands.
God will not turn away from a humble, contrite, broken sinner.
He will not turn away.
He will not throw them in the garbage.
He will not say, you are worthless and I cannot use you. If you are broken, humble, repentant, sinner, before the Lord, He will continue
to use you and He will work through your hands. Amen. And He wants, you know, I'll tell you
why. He wants everybody to know it's not Him doing it, it's not her doing it, it's Almighty
God. And the fact that He uses sinners to do these extraordinary miracles
is to confound religious people. Right. Who were saying that's not possible. It's God's choice to decide who he uses and who he doesn't.
So we get to verse 12.
So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons them and the evil spirits went out of them
There was a power
Dynamis power yes in in these handkerchiefs and aprons.
Supernatural acts flowed from these cloths beyond typical healings.
Handkerchiefs and aprons were everyday items. They are today.
They're everyday items. They are today.
People have handkerchiefs and people have aprons.
Somewhere in your kitchen there's an apron.
Men have aprons in their garages, in their workshops.
Women have aprons in their kitchens.
People have handkerchiefs.
They're everyday items. It could have been a sweatband.
The point is, it's an ordinary thing that God used for divine purposes.
Right. Just like Paul was an ordinary thing himself. Yes.
And just like you are an ordinary thing.
Those of you that are watching and listening, you're an ordinary thing that God can use.
Yes, amen.
So God showcased His ability to perform miracles
by transforming the mundane
for his purposes, using common household items.
God often uses whatever is at hand
that is available to him to demonstrate his power.
And that can be an inanimate object, a handkerchief, an apron.
It can be a human. He's demonstrating to non-believers, to scoffers, to mockers, to super proud religious people,
I am God and I can do anything with whoever and whatever I choose to use. His power flows through ordinary things on earth. His power flows through humans who
touch ordinary things on earth. We know the story in Luke 8, the woman who had been sick for 12 years, she touched the
hem of Jesus's garment.
It wasn't some kind of special power soaked into the garment.
Jesus didn't soak his robe in some kind of miracle solution during the night.
Jesus' response was he felt virtue flow from him.
Yes, but her faith, her faith, her faith, her faith, her faith,
her faith was if I could just touch the garment,
the garment's touching him. Her faith said
that garment is touching him.
He is the miracle maker.
And if I can just get a hold of the robe he's wearing, that's good enough because it's touching
him.
What God did through Paul was he took handkerchiefs and aprons that touched Paul so that even
handkerchiefs or aprons were carried away from his body.
These were handkerchiefs and aprons that Paul wore.
Apron that he had tied around his waist,
handkerchiefs that he carried.
They were taken away from his body to the sick
and diseases departed from the sick.
Evil spirits went out.
You imagine a demon crying, oh no, don't put Paul's handkerchief on her.
A demon shrieking, aprons, anointed aprons, I have to leave, I've got to run. That apron touched Paul. But the evil spirits did depart. He God uses whatever is at hand whoever is available to do his work to demonstrate his power
Anytime
Anytime a a a christian starts to think that he or she is the one that's
Needed
see often is the one that's needed. See, often, it's not that preachers who are used mightily
in healing ministries and miracles,
it's not that they believe they are the ones healing,
but they believe they are essential
for the healing to take place.
That God must use them.
Yes.
Once you go down that road,
the power is about to be turned off on you.
Don't think you're anything special.
There's nothing special about a handkerchief.
Think what you use a handkerchief for.
You're wiping
sweat off or you're wiping some dirt off your hands or blowing your nose. You know, think about
what you and an apron. Same thing with an apron. If you're out in the garage, what do all guys do
if they're working the garage? They got their apron on. They rub their hands on their apron, you know, to prevent dirt. Grease and, you know, yes.
Right, they're used, if you will.
I don't know of any way to describe it.
They're common.
And there's nothing special about it.
There's not gilded, he didn't have a gilded handkerchief
or, you know, an apron that was pristine
like all the guys at Home Depot where, you know, it was dirty, it was used, it was filthy, maybe it stunk,
maybe it was sweaty, you know, these are, but there's
the commonality of these things that God used to perform
the miracles that that were the diseases left, the devil's left,
with getting chased by the dirty hanky, Rick.
Yeah.
I just got a picture of that.
A person coming with a soiled dirty handkerchief and the devil's
Look, I got one of Paul's handkerchief. What are you gonna
do with that? I'm gonna put it on you so you're healed.
No, he blew his nose on it. Well, that's what we're talking
about. God use things that are soiled and dirty
Yes, like people
People are soiled and dirty and God uses them
Yes, hallelujah
Oh glory
Do you get the understanding that we are not anything special?
We are sinners and it's by God's grace that we are saved.
Only by His grace that we're saved.
And if you think you're better than somebody else you're you're fixing to fall
If you think oh I wouldn't say and I I'm a Christian you just watch you get that attitude
Just watch what happens
God uses things that are soiled and dirty for his
holy happens. God uses things that are soiled and dirty for his holy purposes. Paul didn't go through his house saying, I got to which means you are available to God today.
You can be used today because we're all soiled.
All of us.
And God can use anything and anybody,
He so chooses.
So the diseases departed and the evil spirits went out.
The moment Paul's handkerchief or apron was placed
on the sick person or the demon possessed
person. The faith, the faith was of the people was not in the handkerchief and
it wasn't in Paul. The people didn't have faith in Paul and they didn't have
faith in the handkerchief or the apron, but they had faith that God had placed
his anointing and power on a handkerchief. Yes. The faith was in God. The faith was in God's ability to work through unusual means.
To do extraordinary things.
And when that faith is manifest, diseases have to leave.
Devils have to leave.
Yes.
When that faith is present, there's no room for disease.
There's no room for the demonic when that faith is present.
And it's illustrated in the remainder of chapter 19
with the seven sons of Sceva, because these Judaizers came
into town and they said, well, we can cast out demons too. Watch this.
In the name of Jesus whom Paul preacheth be gone. But the demons didn't recognize it.
Here's the difference. These Judaizers were operating on a spirit of witchcraft. They
weren't operating in a spirit of faith. They believed it was simply a magic word or a magic name that demons have to obey.
No, demons submit to faith in Christ.
They submit to faith in Christ.
Diseases have to submit to the faith of Christ.
That's the kind of faith that we need to operate in this world today.
Yes.
Our faith is not in the person or the object,
but in God's ability to work through it or through that person.
Your faith is always on God and in God.
Your faith is always on God and in God. Even when he's instructed a minister to give an unusual instruction, go down to the river
and dip seven times, when you come up the seventh time, the leprosy will be gone.
Those are unusual instructions.
To Joshua, walk around that city and shout.
See the faith.
It's making sense because I told you to just do what you're told to do.
Have faith in the one who gave the instruction. So now, I'm imagining, I'm trying to envision Paul.
He's working, he's preaching every day.
And there are miracles, regular, everyday, normal,
seven day a week miracles, regular miracles.
Paul's not surprised by these things.
Healings, deliverance.
Again, eyes open, ears open, bones straightened out.
This is what he knew this was supposed to happen
when I teach and preach the word.
But I'm still having trouble with these people.
I've got to, I need help from heaven to get a supersize these miracles.
So Paul had faith to ask God for supersize miracles to get the job done.
Now who came up with the idea?
Did God give the idea to Paul or did Paul suggest the idea to God? We don't know.
Right.
And does it matter?
Doesn't matter because God honored Paul's faith.
Perhaps there were so many people trying to get to Paul for miracles,
that he was just worn out, he was exhausted.
He couldn't lay hands on that many people.
He was working night and day.
He was holding church services from sunrise to sunset.
He was worn out.
There was always another sick person,
another diseased person, another demon possessed person.
People the disciples coming to Paul, Paul we need you.
There's a group of people down the street talking about Jesus and they got a lot of
sick people there.
Paul please come.
And another disciple saying, wait a minute Paul, there's a group of people over here on this
side of Ephesus, on the other side of town.
And they're talking about what you're preaching.
And they got a lot of sick people there.
And a lot of demon possessed people.
They want you to come over there and do your miracles there.
And Paul's like, I can't get to all these people.
And an idea pops in his head.
Wait a minute.
What if I laid my hands on my handkerchief
and ask God to put anointing to anoint this handkerchief
and then I'll cut it up into pieces.
I'll take this handkerchief and cut it into pieces
and now each person has a piece
of this anointed handkerchief
and they can run to different parts of the city
and lay part of that handkerchief on sick people,
I believe God will heal them. What do you say Lord? Would you do it? And the Lord said,
we're on, do it. Let's go. You know, Rick, last night during the Fermi, you shared a the story
about R.W. Schambach and how his ministry has impacted you.
But upstairs in your office,
just outside your door right there,
is a piece of the Schambach tent.
Keep talking, I'm gonna go get it.
Yeah, okay.
So Rick had received a portion of the R.W. Schambach revival tent that had traveled the world,
where R.W. Schambach had preached the gospel. Who knows how many places?
Miracles had been seen, the cripple healed, the blind eyes opened and everything under that tent. And we received from the ministry a picture,
a framed picture of Brother Shandbach,
but it was mounted on a portion of the revival tent.
There it is.
Right there.
Okay.
So there's R.W. Shadbach. You see the picture there.
And the picture itself is mounted on a piece of the actual revival tent.
Yeah.
So you see that square rectangle behind the photo?
That's the tent.
It's a piece of the cloth of the tent.
And you can see in that photo, you barely can see it in this of the tent. That, and you can, in that photo,
you barely can see it in this, on the stream.
You can see the tent in the background.
Yes.
Massive tent, probably seated 10,000 people, maybe more.
And so this is a photograph of Brother Schombach
in his latter years.
I think he passed away about 10 years ago.
And so I was listening.
Some of you heard this last night.
I was listening.
This is last summer.
I was trying to build my faith.
And I thought, man, where can I find faith messages that they're not being preached anymore?
And I started thinking about the older preachers that I listened to when I was a young Christian.
And I thought, boy, I wish old R.W.
Schombach was still around.
I could I need to hear him shout
Because he was a he was an old-time shouting preacher, okay
And he's the one that would said it said you don't have any problem
That's all you need. Yeah, all you don't have any trouble
All you need is faith in god faith in god. And so I started listening to his sermons on YouTube.
And then one day I thought,
I wonder what happened to his ministry organization.
And I went online and I discovered it's still operational
and that his daughter is keeping the ministry alive.
Now she doesn't go out with a tent or anything,
but she's releasing old videos of her father.
And she's honoring him.
And she had this framed photograph available
for a gift of $150.
And I just, something in me, I I said I'm gonna do that I just
like to have that in my office and so it arrived and and with it was a note that
said that the photograph of mr. Schombach was mounted on a piece of cloth from his tent. Yes. Now that's when something crazy came over me.
Something not traditional. And I laid my hands on that tent and I said, Oh God,
Oh God, hundreds of thousands of people sat under that tent, maybe millions. Tens of thousands were saved, tens of thousands were healed, tens of thousands were delivered
from demons over this man's lifetime.
Certainly there's still got to be some anointing in this tent, soaked
into the tent. Certainly over 30, 40 years, Brother Shombach's hands touched
that tent because they had to put it up and take it down every week. And that means his hands touched it.
And I'm asking father if there's any anointing still left in that fabric
that it'll come into me.
And that I can go out and lay hands on the sick just like Brother Schombach did.
And then one day I told Doc,
you gotta go over there and lay your hands on that picture frame.
Sound crazy?
Well, call me crazy.
Okay.
Religious people would say that's the most stupid thing I've ever heard.
But how was it received in heaven?
And as I said last night, ever since I did that, there has been a series of
things happening here in this ministry and in my life that is moving me in a direction I had no idea I would be going.
And we're here today and we are closing up True News today.
And it goes back to putting my hands on that tent. So, God does work through unusual ways.
And I think Paul, I think he came up with the idea.
I do, Doc.
I think Paul came up with the idea.
Well, think about it.
Paul probably said, you know, I can't be everywhere at once
That's what I'm saying. It's like I got to come up with a solution. I
Got to get faith out to people, you know, I can't go
But my hanky can go
And he told his disciples you tell the sick person
That I laid my hands on this handkerchief
and prayed they would be healed.
And if they believe what I just said, they will be healed when they touch the handkerchief.
You know, it's not the handkerchief.
It's not the handkerchief that's healing them.
It's their faith in the word that he said.
That's right.
And same thing with Brother Shambach too.
He's been dead 10 years, and
he's still preaching from that tent. And there's a principle in the Old Testament from this.
After Elisha died, and they threw his body in the grave, in the the pit and somebody threw a dead body in there and the dead
body came back to life after touching Elisha's bones. Yes and James yes Peter
shadow healed people. Yes. Peter had an idea. Yes. Peter said you know what I
can't I can't touch all these people.
I'm just going to walk down the street.
And every time my shadow touches a sick person, they'll be healed.
Now, think about that theology.
Trying to explain that.
Can you imagine the other disciples say, wait a minute, Peter, what are you gonna do?
He goes, I don't have time to lay hands on all these people.
I'm gonna ask the Lord to anoint my shadow.
And then I'm gonna walk down the street
and anybody you send the word out,
you get the word out and tell people,
Peter's coming down the street.
And if his shadow touches you you will be healed
People had faith in the word
Not the shadow in the word
And they were they were laying on the sidewalks come Come on, Shadow, touch me.
Just touch me, Shadow.
Can you imagine the people who were jumping up
and shouting, hallelujah, I'm saved, I'm healed,
I'm delivered.
And Peter's just continuing to walk.
He's not stopping, he just keeps walking.
Right.
And he didn't do this as, you know,
and make a special shadow ministry out of it
or anything like that.
He was just being practical.
He was just, I've, listen,
Holy Ghost, heal people with the shadow.
But today, we would go into a shadow ministry.
All right, we have a question.
I don't understand if the word healed,
but they didn't get healed until the shadow, I'm confused.
So, Paul sent word out,
he sent the message out with his disciples,
tell the sick, tell the
demon possessed that if they have faith in what I'm saying, you tell them that I have
prayed over this handkerchief, over this apron, if they believe what I am saying, they will
be healed when they touch it. The healing power it
was not the handkerchief or the apron it wasn't a magical item. The power was in
the faith to believe what the man of God said. There you go. And when they had faith, when their faith
touched Paul's faith, Paul believed that they would be healed. Right. And when they believed
it, their two faiths touched each other and there was a special miracle. Praise God. And it wasn't a regular miracle. It's a special miracle.
So we now know the devil is afraid of dirty handkerchiefs.
Can't say it that way. You got to say the dirty hanky.
The dirty hanky? I'm going to torment him, Doc. I'm going to torment him now with the dirty hanky. The dirty hanky? I'm gonna torment him doc.
I'm gonna torment him now with a dirty hanky. I'm coming for you devil. I've got it right here. Sorry, I'm gonna rub it in your face devil. Praise God. Rick, for someone that didn't invest
that much time in preparation, man this been an out of the ballpark teaching today
yeah i mean it really really has then thank the lord thank the lord all right because uh
um i i was outside on my patio at 4 30 a.m saying lord i don't know what i'm going to talk about
today he probably said good, good, good.
I got something to say.
And it was, it was shortly afterwards.
I heard handkerchiefs and aprons.
Praise God.
Hey, I got some, I got something to work with.
I got something to work with handkerchiefs and aprons.
Run devil run.
That's right.
Run. That's right. So okay,
hey, let's uh, let's go to the Lord's table in faith. Amen, amen. And so, uh,
as we do every Friday, we participate in the Lord's table and we invite you to join us today as well.
in the Lord's table and we invite you to join us today as well. And I hope that you've prepared bread and either grape juice or red wine
in preparation for the Lord's table. We're going to pray a blessing over
those elements of the Lord's table here in just a few moments, but I think
our message today about faith as we do every Friday, and aren't these
Faith Fridays doing something for people?
Aren't they really changing our attitudes and our actions regarding faith?
I hope that your heart is broadened.
I hope that your spirit is broadened by these messages of faith.
And once again, Rick, just like last Friday, man, now I'm convicted.
I've got to go further.
I've got to step out farther.
I've got to believe bigger now.
Lord, help my unbelief.
Help my unbelief, Lord.
What do we have available to us,
Lord, Rick, that we're not taking advantage of?
I just say, Lord, help me.
Help me to step out further, to dream bigger,
to see further.
If there's anything I did, that sin of omission
that they talk about, Lord, I have omitted real faith.
You know, Paul, Doc, maybe when the idea hit Paul,
maybe he was at home and he's praying about this.
What do I do?
How do I answer so many prayers?
So many people want me to go to their different parts of the city.
I can't get to all the city.
I got to walk.
He's got to walk or ride a donkey.
No Ephesus subway, no Ubers.
You know, you're walking or riding a donkey.
Yeah.
And besides that, I've rented a hall here from Taranis here and we, I've got a
meeting scheduled tonight to preach.
I mean, I can't be down over here and at, at Taranis hall, preaching the word of
God, there's got to be a solution here.
And then there was a knock at the door.
And he went, opened up the door, and here's this little lady,
and he had forgotten about her,
but she said, Paul, I've been working.
I've been working for months,
and I made all these new aprons and handkerchiefs for you.
I've been sewing and making them, and here they are. I know it's been a long time you asked me to makes for you. I've been sewing and making them and here they are. I know it's been
a long time you asked me to make these for you so here you've already paid me thank you and Paul's
holding handkerchiefs and aprons and he's saying hmm I just prayed and asked God for a solution.
I just prayed and asked God for a solution. What if, Lord, what if I laid my hands on these, the stack of handkerchiefs and the stack of aprons? What if I just laid my hands
on it and sent them out? Would you heal the people? Maybe it happened like that. See,
it's those kind of normal, everyday things is where God gets inside us and gives us ideas, inspired ideas.
Yes. Hallelujah. Oh my goodness, Rick.
I just want to start speaking in tongues.
I just want to start speaking in tongues. Just you got down to my gizzard today, Rick.
Praise God.
Well, hey, I'll say we're speaking of gizzards.
Okay, but this isn't a gizzard story.
But I heard A.A. Allen tell this story.
Great healing evangelists back in the 50s and 60s who had tremendous
miracles happening in his tent.
He told a story about a woman.
Reverend Allen handed out handkerchiefs.
He did that often.
He mailed out handkerchiefs and aprons by the thousands.
By the thousands.
And so he was at a meeting.
He had his tent.
He had a 20,000 seat tent.
And this woman said to him, Reverend Allen,
my daughter has lost her mind and she's in
a mental institution.
And he said, do you want me to go there?
And she says, Oh, I would love it, but they won't let you in.
There's no way they're going to allow a preacher to come into that mental institution.
You're not going to get near her."
And he said, well, I'll give you one of my handkerchiefs or one of my aprons.
And she said, no, sir, that's not going to work either.
And he said, Well, why? He said, The mother said,
that hospital will not allow me to bring anything in to give to my daughter, nothing. Except one thing. What's that? They have
given me permission to bring chewing gum to her because she
craves chewing gum. I've never heard this story before.
And Reverend Allen says, and what are you proposing?
And she said, well, I've brought some chewing gum.
I've got a packet of chewing gum
and I want you to lay hands on it.
And that when she puts it in her mouth,
she'll be given back her right mind.
And Allen, Reverend Allen looked at that mother and he thought, do you have faith that I could
lay hands on chewing gum?
And the chewing gum in her mouth would heal your daughter's mind?
And she says, yes, yes, sir, I do. And he said, well, then, give me the
chewing gum. And he blessed the chewing gum. And I don't know
how many weeks or months later, the mother came back and said,
the moment my daughter put a stick of chewing gum in her
mouth, the power of God came on her. And she's completely healed in her right mind
and was released and living at home with me.
Praise God.
Praise God in chewing gum, wow.
Chewing a duck, see doc, even a Alan had trouble
at the moment thinking chewing gum.
But at that moment, she had to be healed at that moment.
There was no coming back from that.
There was no coming back from that.
Wow.
But Alan knew that the principle in Acts 19
was not that God only does special miracles
through handkerchiefs and aprons.
He knew that's not the principle.
The principle is he does miracles through any common item
if there is faith.
Yes.
And so he marveled, he marveled at her faith.
Right.
And the daughter had no faith of her own anyway.
Not at all.
It was mom.
You said here, here, here, baby, this chewing gum.
Stick that in your mouth.
Watch what happens.
Praise God.
Rick, this has got to be the best faith Friday we've done.
Uh, this is awesome.
This is really awesome.
Next week. I won't prepare.
Praise God. Well Rick, we want to go to the Lord's table this time and celebrate
that faith that we have in Jesus Christ. You know, if you can't believe God to
heal and to deliver from demons, then you really can't believe that God raised him from the dead either.
I mean, you really can't.
But the fact that we do believe, we do believe these things happen today,
not yesterday. They're not some forgotten memory.
They happen today. They happen in the lives of believers.
These should be common things happening in our lives.
And the only thing stopping us from operating in that is believing God.
Believing God for something beyond ourselves.
We get so set in our ways and we take the things of God as common.
Special miracles. not ordinary miracles. If you said anything today,
it's that special miracle. That's like, wait a minute here, there's another class of miracles
here I'm missing out on. Rick, would you pray for us before we enter into the Lord's table that
the Lord would search our hearts and help our unbelief
today.
Yes, Father, we come to you Father as sons and daughters who are deeply grateful that
you are our Father and that you do not judge us, but you love us and you love us as we are.
And you help us in our weaknesses
because you see something in us that we don't see ourselves.
And you're always calling us,
challenging us to rise up and conform
to the image that you have of us.
The devil has an image of us, people have an image of us, and you have an image of us. And we have to make the
choice which one do we believe. And so Father, we choose to believe the image
that you have of us. We are seated in heavenly places.
Praise the Lord, hallelujah.
Father.
Thank you, Lord.
Thank you for blessing morning manna.
Yes, Lord.
Father, even though this class has been underway
for several years, let this lesson be the birth of a new ministry. Let
there be a special anointing, beyond an anointing. Let us have a special anointing on morning manna and everybody involved in it.
Yes.
And let us take this message of faith in Christ.
Let us take it around the world, Father,
and demonstrate it with signs and wonders and miracles
and special miracles.
Father, that the people would be healed,
that the people would be healed, that the people would be delivered, that unbelievers
would be saved, and your name would be glorified.
Father, we come to the Lord's table to partake of His flesh and blood.
We repent of our sins. We know that you are a just and fair and merciful
and good Father and that you cleanse us, you purify us, you forgive and you restore and
you make us whole. And so Father, we confess our sins. We ask you to remember them no more, that
we could come to the table clean and forgiven and holy in Jesus name. Amen.
Amen. Amen. Well, if you have the elements of the Lord's table, we're going to ask for
the Lord's blessing over those at
this time. So if you just got them in front of you, let's just pray over them
right now and then we'll enter into this memorial of the Lord's death. And so,
Almighty God, in your tender mercy, you gave your only begotten Son Jesus Christ
to suffer death upon the cross for our redemption. He offered himself and made
once for all time a perfect and
sufficient sacrifice for the sins of the whole world and he instituted this remembrance of his
passion and death which he commanded us to continue until he comes again as a father.
Father we ask you to bless and sanctify with your word and holy spirit these gifts of bread and wine that we may partake of his most blessed body and blood. Christ our Passover lamb has been
sacrificed once for all upon the cross. Therefore let us keep the feast.
Hallelujah. On the night that he was betrayed, our Lord Jesus took bread and
when he'd given thanks he broke it and gave it to his disciples saying,
take eat, this is my body which is given for you, do this in remembrance of me.
Thank you Lord.
The body of our Lord Jesus Christ which was given for you, preserve your body and soul to everlasting life.
This, my friend, is the bread of heaven.
Take and eat in remembrance that Christ died for you.
Then after supper, Jesus took the cup,
and when he had given thanks,
he gave it to them saying, drink this, all of you.
For this is my blood of the new covenant,
which is shed for you and for many
for the forgiveness of sins.
Whenever you drink it, do this in remembrance of me.
Hallelujah. Glory to God. The blood of our Lord Jesus Christ which was shed for you,
preserve your body and soul to everlasting life. Drink the cup of salvation and remembrance that Christ's blood was shed for you and be thankful.
Behold the lamb of God, behold him who takes away
the sins of the world and blessed are those
who are invited to the marriage supper of the lamb.
This sacrament is the gift of God for the people of God.
Feed on him by faith with thanksgiving.
That Christ died for you praise God hallelujah and what a
great lesson today Rick here on Faith Friday Rick I think that this one that
one lesson today was worth a whole month of true news
I mean, it's just like, wow, I, I just think where we're going to be a month from now, now that we don't have now that our focus is entirely on God, his kingdom and his word
and faith.
We're not going to spend seven days in the house.
We're going to spend seven days in the house. is entirely on God, his kingdom, and his word and faith.
We're not gonna spend seven, eight hours today
analyzing what Satan's doing in his kingdom.
We're gonna chase the devil with a dirty hanky.
Hallelujah.
Don't you just wanna go down the street right now with a dirty hanky. Hallelujah. Don't you just want to go down the street right now with a dirty
hanky and chase? Just start walking, walking through your house. Just start walking every
bedroom, the bathroom, the kitchen, the garage. You're just walking through with your hanky.
So devil see this? You see this? You see this? And they're out there screeching. Praise
God. Hallelujah. Don't have a hanky. Go out and get an apron
out of the garage. That's right. That's right. Lord. My God.
Hallelujah. You know, I will now from this day forth, I will
always have a handkerchief in my pocket. I'm, you've inspired me to do it to you now.
Yes.
Because you never know.
And I'll be wearing, I'll be wearing an apron so much people think I'm a mason.
I was gonna say.
I told you he was a mason, he's got an apron on.
Everyone knows he's wearing an apron. I'll always carry
anointing oil around with me and because you never know but now we're gonna hang
you now. Praise God. Hallelujah. What a great lesson today Rick. I and I hope
we had about 380 people at one point here today which is a higher number than
we normally have on a Friday,
a much higher number. And so God brought you here today to hear this lesson, to hear this word,
to stir up your faith. And because it's not just about this ministry and the faith in this ministry,
but about you and about God stirring up faith in you, folks that we consider family that are here every
day to study the Word of God.
Doc, Barbara said that Brother Shombach had a similar miracle by praying over M&M Candy
and the person got healed. Barbara, Reverend Shombach in his younger days worked for A.A. Allen.
In his 20s and I guess early 30s, he was an aide to Brother Allen.
It was Brother Allen who trained him.
And Brother Schombach as a young man was ministering to people at the Allen
revival meetings in the daytime. Brother Allen would speak at night but during
the daytime they had smaller meetings in the tent and that's where R.W. Schombach
was trained and it got to the point that so many people were being healed during
the daytime in most Brother Schombach's meetings that one time, and I heard this firsthand
from a man who was told this story by Brother Schombach and the man said that brother Schombach said that A.A. Allen asked him said
Robert you know I appreciate you healing all those people in the afternoon but could you save a few
crippled people for me at night by the time we get to our nighttime meeting there's nobody left to be
healed okay and he was saying that jokingly,
but at some point they released brother Shambach
into his own ministry.
But he was trained under AA Allen.
So if he prayed over M&M candy,
it's because he said, wait a minute,
Allen prayed over chewing gum.
Hey lady, what you got there? Oh, you got some M&Ms here.
You got a whole bag.
This will work.
You can start passing them things out.
You could take that whole bag in the hospital, just hand them out to people.
I'll tell you another true story about Reverend Schombach.
I heard him tell the story.
I think he said 1960, he went to St. Kitts.
Well, I perked up when I heard St. Kitts, because that's my favorite Caribbean island.
And he said he was holding his tent meeting there, and it was filled every night. And he said one night, after the meeting,
he asked somebody, who are all these young people?
These children and young teenagers, who are they?
They're here every night.
And the person said, oh, Reverend Schombach,
that's the school for the deaf.
They're all deaf students.
So the next night, he laid hands on all of the deaf students.
Every one of them was healed.
And he said, the St. Kitts government had to shut down
the deaf school because there was no one deaf
on the island.
Now, that can get me excited. And you know what? I've been to St.
Kitts many times. There is no deaf school on St. Kitts. That thing shut down in 1960
when R.W. Schombach went to that island and set up that tent. Man, Doc, let's get a tent.
Let's go. We got time now. Let's do it. We just got to take that
picture frame around with us. We need a tent and a roll of handkerchiefs.
There's a bundle. We got to get them in a big bundle.
Let's just go to islands and chase devils. Look, there's two white guys running down the street with handkerchiefs.
And demons are coming out of people.
I'm ready.
I am so done with true news. I can't wait to get out here and be myself.
All right.
Praise God.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, Monday morning, we'll be right here.
We're not going anywhere unless the Lord takes us home before then, but we're not planning on going anywhere.
This ministry continues. If you liked what happened today, then you're going to love Monday.
Yes, we're just getting started.
That's right.
We're just getting started. That's right. We're just getting started.
All right, any final words before we depart for today, Rick?
Nope, I think I've said it all.
I think you have too.
God bless everyone for being here today.
And if you feel the devil bothering you,
whip out your handkey and chase him down.
Yes.
All right?
And Leslie asked, she says she never got the letter by mail.
Only the email wasn't the same.
Yes, it was the same.
Yes, it was the same.
So praise God.
All right, we'll be praying for us today and every day.
I hope you do that.
But today is a bittersweet day for us.
And so, but at the same time, we feel like God is doing a brand new thing in this ministry,
continue to pray for us.
That will be obedient to the Spirit's leading.
God bless you and we'll see you bright and early Monday morning for morning manna.
Right.
Take care.
Bye.
