And Doc, we'll start with this Fox News story. Space Force, the U.S. Space Force and the Space Command passed the buck on UFOs as U.S. airspace security questions were. I forgot we have a Space Force. We do. Yes. Well, they ought to be in charge of this operation. Yeah, you would think if they're up there in the highest levels of the stratosphere and everything. They could be looking down and telling us what these things are. And how did they get into our atmosphere if they're the Space Force? Right.

Well, we'll be talking about that. Buck Rogers. All right. We need Buck Rogers right now to save us. Well, this next one, this is for real, folks. Okay, so this is Newsweek. Senator warns people to lock your doors after attending a classified hearing on UFOs.

This is for real. This is Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana, Louisiana, Republican senator. And this is what he said when he came out of the hearing. And it's the very last sentence that he said to the reporters about locking your doors. Just listen. This is as he came out of a closed door hearing on UFOs. This has been going on for a long, long, long time. At least 2017. Last week we were told 2019.

That's what I took away from it today. Thanks, guys. Appreciate it. Lock your doors guys. I appreciate it. Lock your doors tonight. Lock your doors tonight. Now, he said that last night, so I missed my opportunity to lock my door last night. Why would a U.S. senator tell reporters after attending a UFO hearing,

lock your doors tonight? Because he heard something in that hearing that caused him to say, you better be taking precautions here. Well, Doc, that means there are aliens, space aliens on planet Earth right now. That's what that means. Or it means that he heard something in that meeting that was even scarier than aliens. Scarier than aliens. Right. So what could that be? Well, it could be maybe the whole thing is just made up. It's interesting he gave some dates in that comment there.

They said this had been going on since 2019. Now we find out it's 2017. What's been going on? What has been going on? And how does the Pentagon now know that it's been going on since 2017 unless like i said the other day they have a time machine and they're they're rewinding the time machine and looking back and going oh wow we had ufos here in 2017 there's something about the entire story that is extremely suspicious and it's starting to fall apart. But a U.S. senator making a remark,

lock your doors. Now, he didn't have a smile on his face. He wasn't like, hey, I'm kidding. He said, lock your doors tonight. As though, hey, I warned you, I tipped you off. I feel like I'm at the place where I should be channeling Bill Cooper. Bill Cooper.

Bill Cooper. Now, that's a name I haven be channeling Bill Cooper. Bill Cooper. Bill Cooper. Now, that's a name I haven't heard in a long time, Rick. So when I started this program back in 1999, Bill Cooper was a radio talk show host. And he had a very unique program. I never met Bill Cooper, but a lot of my early listeners would call me or email and say, Rick, you should get together with Bill Cooper. He's got a lot he can tell you. But again, I never met him.

I listened to his program. I was pretty far out. I think he influenced a whole generation of broadcasters out there, especially on shortwave. He did, he did. And inters out there, especially on shortwave. He did. He did. And, you know, in his last years, he got very paranoid. He kept saying, they are going to kill me.

And he died in a, he got shot by police officers as they were trying to arrest him. It was a very tragic ending to his life. But he kept saying, they're going to kill me. Why? What was his message, Doc? Well, basically that the government has been behind this whole charade scenario regarding aliens and UFOs, that they've been pulling the strings on this for, you know. Since the 40s. Yeah, at least that far back.

Since the 1940s. He wrote a book called Behold the Pale Horse. Maybe you have read that book. Yeah, I did many years ago. That's it. That's the cover. I still have a copy of it somewhere. Behold a Pale Horse.

And he said that when he was in the military that he saw and read top secret files on a project that he called MJ-12. Also called Majestic-12. Majestic-12. But he also said that wasn't the official name. That was kind of the nickname of the project. But he said it was a highly secretive U.S. government project where the government was actually communicating with extraterrestrials.

That they had extraterrestrials parked somewhere. Yes, and it goes on, it's pretty deep because it goes into that President Eisenhower, this was according to his story, that President Eisenhower actually met with the extraterrestrials and signed a peace treaty with them. It's a really far out story. I found a really old video of Bill cooper and it's not good quality and you can go on youtube

and and and look at this uh video it's it's about an hour and a half long of him giving a speech it is titled on youtube the secret government the origin identity and purpose of mj12 if you want to devote 90 minutes of your time watching it, it is pretty strange if you've never heard Bill Cooper. But we're going to play several minutes of it. Again, it's not a high-quality video. It's a, what would you say, 30 years old, 25, 30 years old? In that range.

At least. So here it is. Let's watch. The study panel was not called MJ-12. In fact, the study panel was never called MJ-12. Another NSC memo, NSC 10-5, further outlined the duties of the study panel. These NSC memos and secret executive orders set the stage for the creation of MJ-12 only four years later. Now it gets nasty.

Secretary of Defense James Forrestal began to object to the secrecy. He was a very idealistic and religious man who believed that the public should be told. When he began to talk to leaders of the opposition party and leaders of the Congress about the alien problem, he was asked, which is a polite way of saying you're fired, to resign by Truman. He expressed his fears to many people and rightfully believed that he was being watched and that his life was threatened. This was interpreted by those who were ignorant of the facts as paranoia, because most people had no knowledge of what was really going on. Forrestal later was said to have suffered a mental breakdown and was admitted, they say, actually he was committed to Bethesda Naval Hospital, against his will. In fact, it was feared that Forrestal would begin to talk again and he had to be isolated, discredited, and shut up. Sometime in the early morning of May 22nd, 1949, agents of the CIA tied a sheet around his neck,

passing the other end to a fixture in his room, and threw James Forrestal out the window. The sheet tore and he plummeted to his death and he became one of the first victims of the cover-up. The live alien that had been taken from the 1949 Roswell crash was called EB. It was short for extraterrestrial biological entity and all aliens are not called EB. EB had a tendency to lie and for over a year would give only the desired answers to questions asked those questions which would have resulted in an undesirable answer went unanswered at some point during the second year of captivity he began to

open up and the information derived from eevee was startling to say the least. And this compilation of his revelations became the foundation of what would later be finished, called the Yellow Book. Photographs were taken of Evie, which among others, I and Bill English were to view years later in Grudge 13. Why do they keep the aliens in a Faraday-shielded environment? Because they have a tendency to disappear right through walls.

And if you can prevent the transmission of electromagnetic energy, you can stop them from doing it. That's Bill Cooper. Listen, just for the record, I don't believe in extraterrestrials. I don't believe in space aliens. But I do believe there's a devil. And I believe that there are demons.

And they are deceivers. And they are deceivers. And I believe, I've said this for decades, Satan, he's saving his biggest lie for the end. Right. The big one. The big lie for the grand finale. Jesus said if it were possible,

the very elect of God would be deceived. And I've always interpreted that as meaning there's a lie coming that's so stupendous. That's going to cause even the strongest believers to question this. Yes, even the strongest Christians are going to waver and go, what is going on and there will be there will be strong christian members who will actually fall for it and believe

it satan is going to he's going to say that that mankind did not come from almighty god in fact he's going to say he is Almighty God, that he is the creator and that he seeded the earth thousands of years ago with human beings. He's going to declare himself the creator, the God of the human race. And he will have his Antichrist

representative on this earth as a full embodiment of Lucifer himself. Completely possessed of the devil. So much so that many will believe he's Christ. Yes. And he'll do miracles. Yes. He'll call down fire. Hey, is it possible to call down fire right now?

Yeah, it's called laser beams. If you've seen any clips of the Super Bowl halftime show, they were shooting fire down through the center of the arena. I mean, it was... They're getting the people ready for it. The big lie is coming. We're going to be told by not just one government, many governments around the world are going to,

they're going to, what a lot of people call the disclosure event, where they're going to disclose to humanity that ETs have been visiting the earth for a long time and governments have been

communicating with them and receiving technology. Right. And those that are ET deniers are going to be put on the side. You're going to deny? Look, there's the alien right there. That's worse than being a climate denier. Yes.

You're now an ET denier and you'll be a bigot. You'll be a racist because you will not accept these people as your equal. Or your superior. Or your superiors because that's the way they're going your equal. Or your superiors. Or your superiors, because that's the way they're going to be presented, your superiors. This big lie is coming, and these ETs are going to introduce global government

to the world. And I think all this happens after World War III. There must be some horrific calamity that would get the world, the entire population of the world, to the place that it would accept extraterrestrials as their superiors and accept a global government. That's the big lie that I think is coming. So I'm watching for it now. We now, for the first time, have high-ranking U.S. generals saying, I can't rule out

the possibility that these are UFOs, extraterrestrials. Can't rule it out. They're setting us up for the big lie. Now, what else comes with UFOs? I just about walked

into Rick's office yesterday morning and said, Rick, the next thing we're going to see now is cattle mutilations. That's what's coming next. And wouldn't you know it, Newsweek magazine. There we go. Here's today. Today. Cattle mutilations.

Mystery over 41 cows that randomly dropped dead in Colorado and intensifies. Now, if you just read that headline and don't get into the article, you'll just think, well, you know, a bunch of cows walking around and they just dropped over. They collapsed. They, you know. Like that happens every day. Every day. And so, but no, there's more to this story. The mystery over 41 cows that randomly dropped dead in Colorado has intensified after an expert gave his opinion as to what may have happened. Now, remember, the headlines said they just dropped over. In October 2022, numerous cattle were being discovered dead near the town of Meeker in Colorado.

So officials from the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Service said in November after 41 cows were found dead that they could not confirm the cause. Some cattle, but not all, appeared to have injuries linked to wolves, these officials said. All right, so let's keep that quote in mind. Now, these are people that work with wildlife all the time. They recognize things like that. Wolves don't kill for the sake of killing. They eat. Right. They kill an animal to eat it. Yes, and they said these cows just randomly dropped over,

and then in the article it says, well, wolves got them. But it goes on to say, in that same article, Carter Niemeyer, wolf predation expert and former U.S. Department of Agriculture Wildlife Services District Supervisor was supplied with documents on the incident by the Humane Society of the U.S. Niemeyer said that he saw no evidence of wolf-caused injuries on the dead cattle. All right, so there were injuries on the dead cattle. The Colorado Parks and Wildlife said, well, it must have been wolves.

You know where this is going and what the injuries are going to be. But the expert on wolves said this is not a wolf attack. Okay, you know what the injuries are going to be. Sure. The cow's genitals were removed

and its tongues were removed. Or other parts, udders on some cows or the brains were removed and its tongues were removed or other parts uh udders on some cows or the brains were removed and perfect incisions yes and not like a an animal tearing it apart but like a laser beam right so newsweek has a couple images here if these you know the images that they shared said, well, these are not wolf-like injuries. All right, so Doc, after the cattle mutilation stories,

the next one will be the impregnation stories. There's going to be women who are going to say that they were impregnated by aliens. That one's coming, and then there will be the human abduction stories that a spaceship, like a tractor beam, picks them up, takes them up into space, and they did experiments on them. The ETs conducted experiments on these humans. That's coming.

Folks, there's a wave of this stuff. We've all been through it. Doc and I, we've seen this over decades. Over and over. Get ready for it. Don't be surprised. But there's several generations of people who've not seen it. And so this is all gonna be new to them. And the news media is gonna blow this up.

Now you got social media. We didn't have social media 20 years ago to spread this stuff. We had to do it word of mouth and radio and television now they're going to use social media but get ready the cattle mutilation stories then the people being impregnated by aliens and then abducted and and human experiments um they're having ufs showing up in other places around the world now. So in Romania and Moldova, both were reporting strange objects in their skies. As it just so happens, both Romania and especially Moldova right now

are going through turmoil regarding the Ukraine crisis right now. Moldova is basically accusing Russia of a coup taking place there. And they got the balloons being, well, objects being seen in Kiev, Ukraine. Yes, so Mr. Zelensky can't, you know, miss out on this opportunity to get in on the balloon frenzy. So six Russian balloons spotted over Kiev.

He needs more missiles. Yeah, to shoot down balloons. To shoot down the Russian balloons. Japan, this is from NHK TV in Japan. Japan reconsiders its response to UFOs. Right. So in this particular story, they have also been reporting balloons. It seems like everybody's getting balloons now. I don't get balloons, but everybody else does. Have you noticed this? I caught it a couple days ago, maybe last weekend.

It's a phrase I've picked up a number of times. The reason that they're seeing so many objects in the sky now is because NORAD has opened more filters. That's the phrase, open more filters. Now, I'm assuming that they're referring to the radar, that there are filters on their radar technology that they can adjust. They're tweaking the radar. But when I heard that phrase for the first time, we're seeing more because we've opened our filters.

Yeah, and we're going to be talking about portals probably in about a month. That there's some portals have opened and something's coming through the portals. Okay, here's the NHK report from Tokyo. Japanese officials could change how the country responds to flying objects that violate its airspace. It comes after they announced a number of recent incursions.

Defense officials say unidentified flying objects have been spotted over Japan over the past four years. They're strongly suspected to have been spotted over Japan over the past four years. They're strongly suspected to have been Chinese spy balloons. We strongly urge the Chinese government through diplomatic channels to make sure that such incidents will not happen again. We also made it clear that violating Japan's airspace is absolutely intolerable. Members of the main ruling Liberal Democratic Party say the self-defense forces should be able to shoot down the balloons if they enter Japanese

airspace. Currently, they can only use weapons in self-defense or to evade imminent danger. Government officials want the SDF to be able to use weapons if it's deemed necessary to protect people, including the safety of air traffic. The flying objects were spotted near a nuclear power plant and bases for the SDF and U.S. military. Well, China's foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin had a message for the Japanese. And he said, don't make a fuss. This is South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. China calls on Japan, South Korea to shun spy balloon rumors and stop following the United States.

Yeah, he encourages them to be objective and impartial in this and not to be too overly influenced by the propaganda coming out of the United States. It is a propaganda war, no matter how you look at it, because there's a lot of misinformation being bandied about back and forth in all this. Well, Doc, you told me this morning about a CBS News report that said the Pentagon has been watching this for years.

Well, yes, they've been watching it for years. And in particular, the China spy balloon, the very first one we're talking about now, it's been almost three weeks now. So CBS News is reporting that the U.S. military was tracking that balloon since it took off from China. The big one, the one that had the payload of 2,000 pounds. The one that's still down

at the bottom of the ocean because we don't know how to get down to the bottom of the ocean. But we knew when it took off. We can lay cable. We can lay cable on the bottom of the ocean.

We have submarines, but we can't get anybody down there right now because it's too deep. That's what the Pentagon is telling us. That's what they're saying. So here's Nora O'Donnell talking with a correspondent at the White House about this amazing information.

The military was tracking the balloon, the China spy balloon, from China. Back here in Washington, there is breaking news tonight on that Chinese spy balloon. CBS News has just learned that U.S. intelligence watched the high-flying airship as it lifted off near China's south coast. That means the U.S. military had been tracking it for nearly a week before it entered U.S. airspace, longer than originally known. CBS's Nancy Cordes is at the White House. So, Nancy, they were watching this from the beginning? They were, Nora. And what they saw was this balloon heading east from China towards Guam and Hawaii. But then it took a sharp northward turn, a beeline towards Alaska.

They also revealed today that the three subsequent objects they shot down probably were not involved in spying. The story changes every day. So the whole conversation that we have about UFOs and everything that's going on would not have occurred at all if some eagle-eyed photographer with

a zoom lens out in Montana hadn't taken a picture of the China balloon. But that was a week and a half into its flight, Rick. I know. Think about that. We wouldn't have known anything. We would have transited the entire U.S.

and gone completely over us. Never would have been shot down. First, we were told they didn't know about it until it got to Montana. And then, well, they knew about it when it got to Alaska. Now we're told they knew when it left China. Right. There's a lot of lying going on in this story.

And lying hasn't stopped. And the three subsequent objects, whatever you want to call them, have no relation to the China spy balloon. Yeah. Okay, so this gives us a lead-in to the next topic here. World government.

Because you know what's going on this week? The World Government Summit. They actually have a summit every year in the Middle East to talk about world government. How to take over the world, yes. Yes, and none other than Klaus Schwab spoke this week at the summit. And he made a comment about

whoever masters AI and other technologies will rule the world. Let's listen. I wrote in 2015 the book, The Fourth Industrial Revolution, and I mentioned 23 or 24 technologies which would change the world, like crypto and so on and so on. three or 24 technologies which will change the world, like crypto and so on and so on. The book was considered science fiction. All those technologies have become reality and they're new technologies.

And I would say we are in the second minute or whatever you want to call, we are at the beginning. When you look at technology transformation, it usually takes place in the terms of an S-curve. And we are just now where we move into the exponential phase. And I agree. artificial intelligence, but not only artificial intelligence, but also the metaverse, very much affected, and who masters those technologies in some way will be the master of the world. Masters of the world. That's right.

Look at what we're talking about. We're talking about UFOs and ETs, artificial intelligence, the masters of the world. I got to give Jesse Waters credit. I saw him the other night on Fox News. And at the very end of his program, he said, you know, are we at the end of time? I'm not ready to say it's the end of the time, but it's sure starting to feel that way. Even newscasters on Fox News and other networks are starting to say what true news has been saying for 20 some years. We're at the end of the age. This is the end of mankind. Christ is coming back. One more from the World Government Summit.

Elon Musk spoke and he said, hey, not so fast on this world government stuff. That's not a good idea. Here's Elon. One thing I should say, and I know this is called the World Government Summit, but I think we should be maybe a little bit concerned about actually becoming too much of a single world government. If I may say that we want to avoid creating a civilizational risk by having, frankly, this may sound a little odd, too much cooperation between governments.

You know, if you look at, say, history and the rise and fall of civilizations, really all throughout history civilizations have risen and fallen, but it hasn't meant the doom of humanity as a whole because there have been all these separate civilizations that were separated by great distances. And so, you know, Islam was rising and so you had like a, you know, the sort of caliphate doing incredibly well while Rome was doing terribly. And that actually ended up being a source of preservation of knowledge and many scientific advancements. And so I think we want to be a little bit cautious about being too much of a single civilization, because if we are too much of a single civilization, then the whole thing may collapse. I'm obviously not suggesting war or anything like that,

but I think we want to be a little bit wary of actually cooperating too much. It sounds a little odd, but we want to have some amount of civilizational diversity such that if something does go wrong with some part of civilization, that the whole thing doesn't collapse and humanity keeps moving forward. Says the man that once put a chip in your brain. It's just a neurotransmitter, Doc. That's all. That's it for today.

You probably have noticed that the price of eggs is a lot higher this year than it was a year ago. In fact, eggs are up 70% in 2023 compared to one year ago. Bacon costs more than last year. Prices for bread and orange juice have jumped also. It's easy to see that the simple American breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice cost a lot more in 2023 than it did in 2022. Well, the good folks over at the Wall Street Journal have a suggestion to help you cope with rising food prices. Writer Gabriel Rubin said, well, if you want to save money on your food bill, perhaps you should just skip breakfast. Perhaps Mr. Rubin should have phrased his suggestion another way he could have written an article touting intermittent fasting

as an alternative eating plan to lose weight. I was thinking of the man working on Wall Street for Rupert Murdoch should say things differently than, let's say, Marie Antoinette during the French Revolution, because when she was told that the people were too poor to buy bread, the haughty queen of France quipped, let them eat cake. Well, the reason I'm talking about the Wall Street Journal telling people to skip one meal a day to save on their grocery cost is because it reminds me of what the disciples

told Jesus one night when he told them to feed the multitude who had no food. The story is found in Matthew chapter 14, verses 13 through 21. And Dr. Raymond Burkhart is here today and he will read the scriptures right now. This is from Matthew chapter 14. When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart. And when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities. And Jesus went forth and saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion

toward them. And he healed their sick. And when it was evening, his disciples came to him saying, This is a desert place and the time has now passed. Send the multitude away that they may go into the villages and buy themselves victuals. But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart. Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves and two fishes. He said, Bring them to me.

And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass and took the five loaves and the two fishes. And looking up to heaven, he blessed and break and gave the loaves to his disciples and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat and were filled. So it's a great story, a great passage here out of Matthew chapter 14 about God's miraculous supply. It's called the feeding of the 5,000. Much more than 5,000. It's probably somewhere around 15,000 really at least. The 5,000 didn't count the women and the children who were there also. But whether it's 5,000, 15,000, 100,000.

What does it matter? After it gets up to 5,000, you know, and you've got to, you've got to feed them. Um, it starts out, it says at that time. Okay. Or no, excuse me. It says when Jesus heard this, this is verse 13. When Jesus heard this, he departed from there by boat for a deserted place. When he heard what doc? Well, what had just happened, he had received word that John the Baptist had been beheaded by Herod. And we've talked on this particular story before. Jesus responded and the ministry continued. The show must go on, if you will.

That's right. And you and I, we've been to Machaerus, the mountain where Herod's fortress was located, where John the Baptist was beheaded. It is one of the most, to me, one of the most sacred sites I've ever visited. And I say sacred because John the Baptist was murdered there at Machaerus. Yes, not in Jerusalem. Not in Jerusalem. Is that out of Jordan? Yes.

In the wilderness. And once you're there, you understand what it meant that when John was preaching in the wilderness. Because I always thought that they took him into Jerusalem. And then you learn that, no, he was out there preaching in the wilderness. And Herod was in the wilderness. He was at his fort, Macaris. And they brought him in as a prisoner. Well, anyhow, by the way, we're taking a group of Christians to Jordan,

God willing, in late May of this year. And so we'll be telling you more about it in the days ahead. If you would like to go with us to Jordan, to the other side of the Holy Land, we'd like to have you go along. But, Doc, when you're there in the desert, in the wilderness, and you see the terrain of where Jesus preached, where John the Baptist preached. These stories really mean a lot. When it says he went into a desert place,

it really is a desert place. I mean, it's deserted. And to think, it goes on to say here that they followed Jesus and his disciples traveled in a ship to the desert place. The people followed on foot. So they had to go around the lake. Yes. It's a sea had to go around the lake. Yes.

It's a sea, but it's a lake. They went around the Lake of Tiberias, Sea of Galilee. So they went around it and tried to keep up with him on a boat. Right. And when they figured out where he had landed, then they were right on his heels again. So apparently he was,

he must have been on a higher altitude when he saw them. That's what I envision. I imagine he's looking down from a hill and he's seeing the crowd. A great multitude, it says, yes. A great multitude. And so he had compassion on the people. Instead of taking off and hoofing it out and saying,

I got to get some rest. I just want some quiet time. I want to get away from these people. You know, there's a lot of big shot preachers that are like that today, Doc. They don't want to be around the people. They got exits to get away from the people. They've got people to get away from the people. Yes. They have a plan and they have people on their staff to keep the people away from them. And you kind

of get that impression with the disciples here in their response. Look, you know, Jesus, you're wore out. You've been traveling a lot. You know, in this crowd, we can't handle this. Let them go buy food someplace. Let them just take care of things on their own. And then we'll get settled here. But Jesus had a different response. Yeah. Because, you know, their thing, hey, tomorrow there'll be another crowd. That's right. There's always going to be a crowd following you, Jesus. But he had compassion on them. And the first thing he did is that he healed them. He healed their sick. That's right. And it doesn't say he healed some of the sick.

It said he healed their sick. And so I interpret that as meaning he healed everybody who was sick. Now in a crowd of 12, 15,000 people, you know that there were a lot of sick people there. There were a lot of invalids and people with diseases and blind and deaf. I get the impression from this passage,

I could be wrong, but looking at the other passages too, Jesus spent all day doing this. Spent all day long. We don't know what time he arrived at the point of embarkation, but we do know that he spent the day and he healed the sick because it makes

a point in the passage and several of the passages related to this when evening came. Okay. So the day had been spent and then evening came. It was the end of the day. That's when his disciples came to him. Look, Jesus, you've been healing the sick all day long. You've been ministering to people all day long. You've shown compassion on them. We need to get these people, you know, out and fed and everything. And so you get moving on. I think it was late, probably late afternoon. Sun was going down. You know, what you would say is the first evening, the sunset. Darkness had not fallen yet, but the sun was going down. And his disciples were saying, hey, just shoo them off. Let's just send them.

You know, there's enough daylight. They can start walking back to town. But Jesus wouldn't hear it. He had compassion on the people. And I think it's Mark, because this story is in all the Gospels. I think it's Mark who gives us the reason he had compassion on them because they had no shepherd.

It wasn't because they were hungry. It wasn't because they were sick. It was because they had no shepherd. He sick. It was because they had no shepherd. Wow. He had compassion on them because they had no shepherd. And Jesus is the good shepherd. And that was the source of his compassion. And because he was a good shepherd, he was going to feed his sheep.

Right. He was going to feed them spiritually and physically. He was going to take care of them. A good shepherd wouldn't send sheep away at night. That's the most dangerous time to send sheep away. That's when the wolves can get them. That's right. So he's a good shepherd.

And, you know, Jesus, he wants to be your good shepherd. You know, do you ever talk to him as your shepherd? He's got a lot of titles and you should address him by the title that you need him to be at the time of your prayer. So who would need a shepherd, Rick? Somebody needs guidance. You need wisdom. You need to make a decision. You need instructions. You need to know your way in life. You need to know how to solve a problem. There's a lot of reasons. You can go to a shepherd and give me advice.

Have you ever been around sheep much in your life? Not really. Let's just say their intelligence level isn't the highest in the world. Sheep will drown in the rain. They'll be looking up at the sky, looking at the rain and the thunderstorm, and they'll swallow the water, and they can drown in the rain.

They're limited intellectually, let's say. They do need a shepherd. Sheep need a shepherd, just like we do. We're at our wits' end. We don't know what to do. We don't know. We'll drown in the rain if we let ourselves. So we need a shepherd. So that is powerful

there, Rick. It says that they were without a shepherd. That's why he showed compassion on them. It gets a whole new meaning to this. You know, Jesus is a shepherd. When you read about the fold of the sheep, if you're not a farmer,

most people don't know what that means. Are you folding the sheep up? What is a fold of sheep? But the fold, it was a shelter where the sheep went in at night. It's not really a barn. It's an enclosed area where the sheep went in at night. And when you go to the Middle East, you can still see the folds where the shepherds are putting the sheep at night.

But he said he was the door. You know what that meant? The shepherd, the fold, didn't have a door. Right. There was an opening to the fold, but there was no door. Yeah, it's a stone structure. So how did the sheep

stay in the fold at night? The shepherd laid down on the ground between the two pillars of the opening of the fold. So when he was the door, so he was the door to the sheepfold.

He was the shepherd and he was the door to the sheepfold. So if the sheep wanted to get out, they had to go over him. If the wolf wanted to come in, they had to go over him. He's, he's your shepherd. He's your good shepherd. A few years ago, Doc, let me think, maybe, I don't know, maybe six, seven, eight years ago, I was praying intensely about direction. And I don't recall exactly what the issue was,

but I was really seeking the Lord for direction. I knew it was about this ministry. And I was seeking Him, intensely seeking him. And one Saturday morning, in those early morning hours, just before you wake up, I had a dream. And the moment I woke up, I was having the dream as I woke up, and it was like 6 a.m.

The sun's just starting to come up between 6 and 7 a.m. on a Saturday morning. I sleep in on Saturday mornings. But the dream was I was in this big pasture field. It was vast and beautiful tall grass. And really didn't see a lot of trees. There were some trees. Sunny day, blue sky, clouds,

but Jesus was there with me in the dream. And He was, I've got to tell you, He was dressed like a church bishop. The robes that he wore, it was red and white. He had an inner layer and an outer layer. Okay. And he looked like a church bishop, and he had like a bishop's hat on, but he had the bishop's staff in his left hand.

And in the dream, he put his right arm around my shoulder. He was standing right beside me, put his right arm around my shoulder, and he was using the staff and he was pointing out to the horizon. And a voice in the dream said, he shall guide you. That was it. That was it. That was the dream. I woke up and had perfect peace. I didn't pray anymore about guidance. I knew my shepherd would guide me. I didn't have to say, well, what is this? What's the answer? What's the, you know, I didn't have, I didn't have to ask. I knew in my heart? What's the answer? I didn't have to ask. I knew in my heart, he's my shepherd. He showed me.

He appeared to me in my sleep and said, I'm guiding you. I'm your shepherd. But it's also like he said, I'm your bishop. I'm the leader of the church. I'm the head of the church of Jesus Christ. I am Jesus Christ. And this church is mine. And I'm the leader of this church, but I'm the good shepherd and I'm showing you the way.

And everybody out there, you can go to the Lord Jesus Christ as your shepherd when you need guidance. Look, when you need healing, he's your doctor, he's your physician. Great physician, yes. Whatever you need, find the title, find the name that applies to him and address him

by that title. And when he showed me that principle years ago, it changed the way I prayed. Because when I need to hire people for this ministry, I approach him as Lord of the Harvest. Because he said, pray to the Lord of the Harvest. When you need laborers. When you need laborers in the field. And so when this ministry needs to hire employees, I go to him as

Lord of the Harvest. Right. And then I give him the list of employees. Here are the job requirements. This is what we're looking for. So go to him as your shepherd and ask for guidance whenever you need it. Well, getting back to this scripture,

the feeding of 5,000. Evening had come, and the disciples had said to Jesus that the time has now passed. Send the multitude away that they may go into the villages and buy themselves victuals. Rick, even to this day, you know, and we've visited Jordan several times, that area is desolate. And even the villages that are there now are small. Can you

imagine if there's a crowd of 15,000 people and then they scatter to all these small villages in the dark? First of all, will there be anything in the villages? And so really a miracle had to happen in this situation. There was no way that the multitude was even going to find food, maybe some. But by the time you got 15,000 people scattered across the countryside. Especially with children. Yes. Children walking in the wilderness at night.

Again, a good shepherd. And that's why Jesus had compassion once again. He said, they don't need to leave. They don't need to depart. You feed them. I got to tell you another story. This happened in 2008. I was in Kenya, Africa. And I was out in the bushland with a group of pastors.

And we were showing the Jesus film. And it was some of the most fun I've ever had in my life. We just had a projector and a sound system. And we would go from town to town. And we'd find something we could use as a projector and a sound system and we would go from town to town and we'd find something we could use as a as a projector screen for a screen we'd start showing the movie and crowds would show up and then i'd climb up on top of anything sometimes a truck roof whatever preach the gospel call them to repentance you know of course i had an interpreter

and hundreds would get saved i've never had so much fun in my life. I've never enjoyed anything like that. But one time we were out in the bushland and in a very remote church, dirt floor, open, basically a pole barn. It's really what it was, a pole barn. That was their church. Oh man, did they have church.

I remember thinking, barn right it's really what it was a pole barn that was their church oh man did they have church i remember wanting thinking if if i could bottle this african joy and stick it in a bottle and put a cork on it and go back to america whenever i would be sad i could just take the cork out and let that African joy come out because those African Christians, they knew how to praise the Lord. Financially, they didn't have anything compared to Americans. I mean, we're there in a dirt floor church with no windows, no walls. It's a pole barn and they're having church, beautiful church service. But anyhow, we showed the film that night, and it was full moon. And before we started the projector and the film was running, and I'm looking out across the bushland, and I'm seeing objects moving. You're talking about outside the crowd. Oh, way, way out, because it was full full moon and I could see out through the bushland.

And I could see objects moving in the moonlight. And that was kind of spooking me. I was like, what's out there? I don't know what this is. And I asked the pastor and he said, oh, that's the bush people. They're coming to the movie. They saw the light. That's what he said.

They saw the light. They saw the film projector. They saw the light. He said, those are the bush people coming. Doc, they came and they came and they came and they came. You could see the people moving among the trees and the grass and the moonlight. And there were children walking by themselves. Little children. Six, seven, eight years old. Children walking in the bushland. They saw

the light. The light of Christ was drawing them. And they came and they watched the movie and preached the gospel and a lot of them got saved. But here's the thing. This is why I thought about this story. When it was over, you know, I'm guessing this is maybe 10, 11 p.m. at night. The people started walking back, the bush people and the children by themselves. And I asked the local pastor,

where are they going? He goes, they're going back to their villages. I said, these are children walking. Yes, he goes, they'll be okay. They'll be okay. But my heart broke, Doc. My heart broke because

I'm like, these little kids came to hear the gospel and now they're walking in the dark so when i think about that and i read this and i think the compassion of jesus saying no no we're not sending those people out there at night. We're not going to do that. They're hungry. They got to be fed. But the disciples, they said the same thing that Mr. Rubin

at the Wall Street Journal said. They just need to skip dinner. He said skip breakfast. That's in the Wall Street Journal this week. You're the one that showed it to me. But he, the disciples said,

let them skip dinner they'll be okay jesus says no feed them feed them okay so they they did a survey of what they had and they had a couple loaves of bread and two fish and somewhere 12 to 15 000 people how did he solve the problem he He said, bring them to me. Bring what? Bring the loaves and the fishes. That's what they had available. That's not enough.

No, it's not enough. But when Jesus blesses it, because it was given by faith, he does something with it. A miracle happens. And the miracle is that provision for all was made from the gift of faith given and blessed by Christ. So the first is that provision for all was made from the gift of faith given and blessed by Christ. So the first thing that had to happen was the people themselves had to offer up

the little bit of substance they had for the benefit of everybody else. Somebody had to give up the loaves and the fish. Right. And that's out of a crowd of, once again, 12,000 to 15,000 people. That's all they could gather up. Because they've been there all day. They weren't planning to be there all night when they left. Now here it is evening and they're going to be there and they have

to eat. When they left in the morning to follow Jesus, they didn't know that he was going to hold a healing crusade. Right. And they probably had food. Well, we know they had food. They had enough to sustain them through the day, but that's all they had left. Five loaves and two fishes. But what you have left is enough for Christ to use. But it was insufficient in the natural realm. It was insufficient. But in the hands of God, it was more than enough. Not just enough, it was more than enough. Not just enough, it was more than enough.

Right. Because they had leftovers. They had something to eat in the morning. That's right. So the first thing, Doc, is that the people took what they had, which was insufficient, an insufficient supply, and they offered it to Jesus for the benefit of their brethren. Benefit of themselves and their brethren. Because they expected to get fed too,

but they gave up the little bit that they had and gave it to the Lord. And then he lifted it up to his heavenly father. So he teaches us. The first thing we do is that we offer up what we have to our heavenly father and we speak a blessing over it, which I'll tell you, you should pray over every meal. I'm really surprised by the number of Christians that do not pray over their meals. This is a recent phenomenon too.

I mean, it's been really in decline over the past few years, hasn't it? It has. Boy, you need to be grateful for everything that God gives you and pray over that food. And first of all, you have no idea what's in that food.

You need the Holy Ghost to touch that food before you put it in your mouth. Pray over that food. And first of all, you have no idea what's in that food. You need the Holy Ghost to touch that food before you put it in your mouth. Pray over it. Ask the Lord to bless it. But you having food right now is just as much a miracle as it was for this miracle that we're talking about today because it's God's supply for you right now. That's right. And then after Jesus lifted it up to his Father in heaven and he spoke a blessing, a blessing came out of his mouth.

Yes. He spoke a blessing over it. It was multiplied. And it was, he didn't just start tossing it out to the people. I saw a Jesus movie one time

where they were just throwing blows. No, no, no. I think it was, is it Mark that says that he set them down in groups of 50? Yeah, in groups of 50.

So there was order. There was order. There was an instruction to the crowd and then instruction to the disciples too. So he tells the disciples, get them into groups of 50

so there's no confusion and chaos. Then he gives the bread and the fish to the workers, to the disciples, to the men of God in the church. And says, you feed them. So the blessing comes down from God the Father through God the Son into the men of God who are teaching and preaching the gospel. And then they give the food to the people. That's the way it's supposed to be in the church. They're feeding you. They're feeding you the Word of God.

They're feeding you whatever you need. The blessing comes from heaven. And there's more than enough. So never be concerned that when you have insufficient supply, insufficient supply in the hands of Jesus is more than you can ever consume. It is abundance in the hands of Jesus Christ. Trust the Lord with all your heart. He will take care of you. He is your good shepherd.

He loves you. He will guide you and he will provide for you because he loves you dearly. And we love you too. We'll see you tomorrow.
