Did you ever think, you know, you and I grew up in a different age. Did you ever think

you would live to see the day that Americans would be told they can't speak their mind? I am shocked that in my lifetime, I've seen things like we're going to take God out of the school systems. You can't pray to God. That was 60 some odd years ago. Yes. Well, how's that turned out for us? We renounce God.

Old Patrick Henry, righteousness alone can exalt America as a nation. Reader, whoever thou art, remember this, and in thy sphere practice virtue thyself, love, and, and religion. This is the armor, my friends, and this alone renders us invincible. We should have listened to Patrick Henry. That's right. So now what you're seeing is on the cancellation culture that we have within the United States, neighbor attacking neighbor, trying to ruin their brother's life. The attacks go on. You look up and you say, what about Vladimir Putin?

Where does he fit in it? He's one of the kings of cancellation. He sees a country, he says, I think I'll take it. Murders women, children. He's a picture of what cancellation, if not controlled, where it ends up. They cancel whole nations and slaughter children right in front of us. And we're all sitting here looking at it saying, what do we do next? That's what not loving God and not loving your neighbor, that's where it ends up. Look at what Putin's doing, you say. And we do the same to each other the murder rates out the roof you're like

we're running around kidding each other burning shooting looting going up to this last election young men running around with spray cans, F everybody, F you, F everybody. And we're looking around at each other saying, whatever happened to these United States of America? To answer your question, I never thought I would see this kind of behavior coming out of America. That's right, when you separate yourself from God, you're going down to the bottom of the septic tank.

Because they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, God gave them over to a depraved mind to do what ought not to be done. They've become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, and depravity. They're full of envy, murder, strife, malice, deceit. They're gossips, slanderers, God-haters,

insolent, arrogant, boastful. They invent ways of doing evil. I'm quoting Romans chapter 1, 28 and following. They disobey their parents. And here's the description of human beings who say, no more God for me. They're senseless, faithless, heartless, and ruthless. Yes. That's a quote from what the Apostle Paul

told the Roman Empire members of the Roman Empire so my question to our listeners whatever happened to the Roman Empire it's just a pile of rubble over there. They forgot God.

They forgot God and we will end up just like all the other empires before us on the way we view the god of creation or not you know i god willing i'm going to be taking a trip to jordan next month i it would be my first trip and one of the sites I'm going to be visiting is Sodom and Gomorrah, which there's nothing there. But the only thing there is the pillar of Lot's wife. She's still standing there. You can actually go up and touch her. She's still standing. And Phil, it just seems to me like after all these thousands of years, God obliterated Sodom and Gomorrah. You can't even find the ashes of the cities. But that's it. But he made sure that Lot's wife

stood there for thousands of years as a testimony. She's the only thing there that is evidence of Sodom and Gomorrah. And, you know, I think all of us should take a close look at that stone pillar that's standing there in the deserts of Jordan, because she looked back. She longed for the sin of those cities. And the Lord took her life because in her heart, she desired to be part of it. And America has become like Sodom and Gomorrah. We're doing things that I can't even comprehend. I try to tell young people, this is not normal.

What you think is normal, this is extremely abnormal. And it's not gonna have a happy ending. No and it's not going to have a happy ending. No, it's not. The guy came to me, I would say that's been seven or eight years ago. They said, you have a magazine interview. This guy shows up and he walks over to me and he said, do you believe homosexual behavior is a sin? Right off the top of my head, I said to him, I quoted 1 Corinthians chapter 6, 9 and 10. Do you believe it's a sin? I said, do not be deceived. Neither the sex of them are the idolaters, the adulterers, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders. And I kind of did my hand like that, the adulterers, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, and I kind of did my hand like that, the homosexual offenders, or the greedy, the drunkard, the slanderer, the swindler,

they will not inherit the kingdom of God. All I did when he asked me a question, Rick, was give him a Bible verse that covers the particular topic he had just said, do I believe it? I just quoted the verse so that he would be arguing with the God of heaven and not me. Or the Apostle Paul who wrote it for the Corinthians. So I quoted that Bible verse and they came after me and it cost us a substantial amount of money when they got done with us with sponsors and all that just like you referred to this what happened to you but all I can tell you my man is God is alive you're still here and so am I and we have written where all this mischief is coming from.

Check this out. If you hold to my teaching, then you're really my disciples. Then you'll know the truth and the truth to set you free. They answered, we're Abraham's descendants. We've never been slaves to anyone, which was a lie. How can you say that we should be set free? Jesus goes on to say, if God were your father, you would love me. I came from God and now I'm here.

I've not come on my own, but he sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you're unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there's no truth in him when he lies and just look at the murders and the lies that are coming out of our people and worldwide

when he lies satan he speaks his native language for he is a liar. And this is a scary thought. And he is the father of lies. So you, along with me, when we hear all this rhetoric coming out of these people, the cancel culture, you know, hate your neighbor, don't love him. We want war, not peace. And it just goes on and on. You say, it's the evil one. Because I tell you the truth, you don't believe me. Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? I mean, Jesus never made a mistake. He said,

where did I go wrong? Where's my mistakes? If I'm telling the truth, why don't you believe me? He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God. So we have this mighty throne of individuals worldwide with none, no consciousness of God. And God said, two things are the greatest commands that I will write to you. Love me, love God, and love your neighbor. And those two things is what we have butchered and now look at us wallowing around in our sins, attacking our neighbors for no reason whatsoever, and going back 50 years to see where you made a mistake and never forgiving your brother of anything. You go back 200 years. If you ever made a mistake, we'll hold it against you to the rest of eternity.

So here we are doing battle. But the good news is the one who became flesh 2,022 years ago, we're all counting time by him. Regardless of what we think about him, we all count time by him. You say, what year is it? You say, well, it's 2022 years since Jesus showed up. He showed up to deliver us from our sins and to set us free from Satan, sin, guilt, law, and the grave, for crying out loud. He died on the cross, got us out from under law, canceled the written code that was against us, guaranteed

we could be raised from the dead. And he says, all you have to do is love me. Look what I've done for you. Therefore, for God so, so, so loved the world. He said he's the only begotten son. If we just believe in him, we'd have eternal life. So anything that immortality is riding on, I take special note of that, Rick. Amen. Immortality is riding on every view of God or lack thereof.

So we just have to keep the faith and go forward. Everyone who lives a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. Jesus said if they hated me they'll hate you too. So we just need to learn that all of their death sentences and all of the persecution that comes our way, we just take it in stride, forgive them, tell them about Jesus, never slow down, never back up, back off, or back down ever. Just preach the gospel and move forward. Yes, sir. i know you're you've been a committed christian for many years and you love the lord uh that's not in question but in the past two or

three years with covet um the lockdowns the mandates um the vaccines, the hatred in this country, the division, the strife, the way President Trump was mistreated and maligned, and the way Christians are hated now. Are you finding in your own spiritual walk with the Lord that you're really starting to long for the Lord's return, like you're done with this world? I will say that unless there's a change of heart, and rather quickly, we will end up in the rubble heap along with the other empires that have existed. I got a college professor who's a brother, and I said,

research every empire beginning with the first one that you can find in history and bring it all the way to modern day. I said, I want to know a look at all the empires and what happened to them. He gave me a folder about that thick, a thick folder, beginning with Mesopotamia way back. And he came all the way through. He said, Phil, what I saw is every empire that there's ever been has collapsed. Every one of them, all the way up. And we're now in modern day, I would say the Chinese, the United States, Russia, maybe India, throw them in there.

And you say, okay, there's four or five empires still standing. At this time, they are. But if history teaches us anything, all the rest of them, all of them, collapsed. So we just might as well get in line because Patrick Ender had it right. You're invincible only if you have the power of God on your side as a group or as a country.

You'll only last as long as your system and your faith in Jesus Christ is there or not. That's right. So we keep repeating these same mistakes over and over and over. And our current culture is just going in every direction with gross immorality, lying, stealing, shooting, just tossing money to the wind with 30 trillion in debt and more to come. There's just no way we can keep this up. Without God, this one will be a victim just like all the rest of the empires were. It's scary and I hate it, but that's the way we're headed. You mentioned Vladimir Putin at the beginning of the interview,

and obviously you're not an admirer. I get a different viewpoint. Let me ask you, Nebuchadnezzar, was he a good man? He wasn't a good man. He wasn't. But God called him my servant. Yeah.

And God used Nebuchadnezzar to bring judgment on God's people. Have you considered, Phil, the possibility that the place that we are in right now, in this month, this week of 2022, that God may be raising up Putin to bring chastisement to the United States? It's possible. All I know is this. Now I don't know about when the last days are. Hebrews 1, 1 and following, in the past God spoke through the prophets many times and in various ways, but in these last days, He's spoken to us by his son. So the Hebrew writer said, once Jesus came, died on a cross for the sins of the world, was buried and resurrected, stayed 40 days to convince people he was alive, and he went back into heaven. Seated at the right hand of God, he's there to mediate for us, his people, not counting their sins

against them, their future sin. We all make mistakes. You say, so that happened, and the Hebrew writer said, in the last days he'll speak to us by his son. Paul told Timothy, mark this, and this might answer your question. God works in mysterious ways, is all I can tell you, so he can use people at his disposal. But people who are wantonly slaughtering their fellow man by the thousands, I doubt that they would work through them for good. It's possible. There will be terrible times

in the last days. This is 2 Timothy chapter 3, verse 1. Terrible times in the last days. This is 2 Timothy 3, verse 1. Terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, Ungrateful. Unholy. Without love. And check this out, Rick. Unforgiving. You say, they cancel you. Yes.

If you sin one time, they won't forgive you of it. They'll hold it against you forever. What if God was like that? Slanderous, without self-control, brutal. Now these aren't this. There will be terrible times in the last day. Brutal, not lovers of the good. Treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, you read that and you say, my goodness, I'm looking around. That's what I'm seeing.

That's society. That is our society right now. It scares me. Maybe there'll be a mass repentance. I'm hoping for it and I'm putting in my licks where I can to get Jesus and Him crucified and raised from the dead. The gospel will get it out to our neighbors. I will say that in the last few years, ever since they came after me, there's a constant stream of individuals coming down to Louisiana, down on the river back here. And I've baptized a mighty throng down there in the river.

Have you? And you say, old school. So I'm the old school. Point them to Jesus. And look, they just keep coming. They keep coming. They keep coming. Praise God.

Every week. Every week. They're coming. They're coming. So I don't know how widespread that is. Our podcast reaches about, I don't know, four or five million. You say a lot of them are coming from there, but there is a large and getting larger group of individuals coming to see us, the Robertson crowd down here. Praise God.

We're right next on the river back there, Rick. All right. We have a little meal. We take them to the river. If we're where there's warm water, we use that, you know, in a little structure. But all I can tell you is we are making headway, and I'm trusting in God, and I'm asking him, deliverance, Lord.

Wait. Give the time to repent. Give the people time to repent before your wrath comes upon them. When do you hold your services? When do you hold your services? I drive to town once a week. Most of the time, we meet in homes. We're sprinkled out during the pandemic. I've never worn a mask

except when I was playing Roy Rogers when I was about 10 years old. I never put on a mask. They said you had to stay six feet away from your neighbor. I'm like, well, how are we going to baptize all these people if we can't get within six foot of them? I said, maybe we can get a rope, throw a rope around them and snatch them out of the water. I said, I'll tell you what let's do. Let's just go with the one who raises the dead.

Let's just put our trust in him. And look, really, I never had Corona. I never wore a mask. And we were baptizing people, just one right after the other one. Still are. You say, did you ever catch it? No. So I'm just saying, I don't know about all the rules and regulations that go with being an American these days. I'm going to have to come over and visit sometime. I'd like to see the baptism taking place. I'll visit you sometime. Hey, I want to put your book back up on the screen.

Phil, you mentioned earlier how they came after you when you quoted Scripture in answer to a question. And so we're not even allowed, and they're, according to the, you know, the thought police, we're not even allowed to read scripture now and uh they go berserk uh was that the first serious attack on you is that where it really began that's right that's right here's what they forget you say ph, do you hate the people that come after you? Well, of course not. Jesus died for the sins of the world.

I just am going to let God, one lawgiver and one judge, that's the one who can both save and destroy, James said. I just leave it up to God on what he wants to do with the human race when it comes to judgment. As a proclaimer of the gospel, I love all men. You say, well, what about the ones who hate you? Jesus said, you've heard it said, love your neighbor and hate your enemy. He said, but I'm telling you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you so i'm not mad at them for trying to cancel me and my faith right because i'm not going to stop i'm going all the way all these guys before us rick they kill nearly every one of them but john i think that's

right they killed them all so why would it be any different with us? Therefore, you say, you're not mad at them, you're sad. You're sad for them, I'm sad for them. Love is patient. All I'm trying to do is get them to love God and love their neighbor for crying out loud. Love is kind. Not like the cancel crowd. They're not kind.

Love does not envy. The cancel crowd says, you made it. You have more than me. And if I find where you made a mistake, I'll try to take you down and hurt you. Love does not boast. Love is not proud. Love is not rude. Love is not self-seeking. Love is not proud. Love is not rude. Love is not self-seeking.

Love is not easily angered. Love keeps no record of wrongs. Well, what do you know? Love keeps no record of wrongs. I can't try to get people to love God and love each other unless I love God and love them. So I just point them to Jesus. I don't condemn them. There's one judge and lawgiver, the one who can both save and destroy. I leave it up to God to judge them, not me. All I tell them is it's a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of

the living God, gang. Y'all need to remember that. And I'm on my way. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. So I'm not going to let the wicked get my heart where I hate them. Yes. I hate no one. That's right. God loves them. he loved the world he sent

jesus but you are going to have to stand before him i would be ready to do that and i wouldn't want to be an enemy of his i do remind him of that that's right uh phil in my own case um when they came after me a couple years ago and it was vicious. I mean, they tried to destroy me. They wanted to put me out of business. And my name was smeared all over the place. I lost friends. Christians wouldn't even associate with me because I was too controversial. They didn't want any chance that controversy would touch them.

It was very painful. And the hardest thing for me, and then it became easier, the hardest thing was to suffer for Christ. I realized this is what it is to suffer for Christ. That's right. To pray for your enemies, not to for Christ. That's right. And to pray for your enemies, not to hate them. That's right. I grew up, you know, country boy.

I grew up in Western Maryland along the West Virginia border. What we did to people like that back, you know, there was ways to deal with it, okay? And that would want to rise up in me. And and the Holy Spirit was teaching me, Rick, suffer with Christ and love these people. Don't lash out. Don't lash out at them. They're lost. Pray for them. And so for me, I did a lot of spiritual growing over the last couple of years because of the event. I actually, in a way, am grateful for what they did to me because I'm actually closer to Christ than I was before they attacked me. Yep.

Hey, just forgive them and move on. Forgive them and move on. Love never fails, ever. So you can't go wrong by being good to your enemies. Move on, forgive them and move on. Love never fails, ever. So you can't go wrong by being good to your enemies. If they're hungry, give them something to eat. If they're thirsty, give them something to drink. By doing that, you're heaping burning coals on their head.

You say, I'll tell you what, you've been unkind to me, but I'll be kind to you. That's right. God taught me that. So it's a way to go that you don't have to be as painful if it was, but I want to pay them back and I get them. That's the way the world operates. But they kind of scratch their head when you say, I know you got through cursing me there, but I don't hold it against you. Just listen to this story. I've seen a lot turn. They've told me.

They said we were some of the marchers and had sticks with signs, you know, marching down the road, hollering and burning and looting. Some of them came. Some of those people came, and they said, We read one of your books, Mr. Robinson, and it occurred to us we're full of hate. How do we get out of that? I said, God will give you a spirit if you put your faith in his son who died for you, was laid to rest on the dead.

When you are born again, he'll seal the deal with his spirit. And what will be seen from you instead of marching and chanting and cursing your neighbor, you'll be full of love the fruit of the spirit will be love joy peace patience kindness faithfulness gentleness self-control i said that's what god will help you with and you'll have a much better stay on planet earth if you would come to it and if you exhibit that kind of fruit and those kind of qualities you show people that and they look and they said i've never even tried to be that way i said that's why i'm showing you how you ought to roll god says here's the way my people will be they'll show the world around them who I am. So people look at us, we're cursing our neighbors and running

and all that. That won't work. It just won't work. We have to be like Jesus while we're on the earth. Love your enemies. And one after the other, He forgave them and moved on. He forgave them and moved on. So that's what I do. That's what we all ought to do as sons and daughters of God. That's right. Shine brightly, taste salty, love everybody. That's it. I like it.
