One of the most powerful deep fake tools is the ability to clone photos and videos. The software can create a resemblance of a person's face, voice, or actions that can be very convincing. It can also splice in audio from other people and even take control of a computer to make it mimic someone's facial expressions. In addition, it can be used to make fake news and disinformation that can sway elections or even cause civil unrest. Another

deep fake tool is the ability to create false evidence that can corrupt the public's perception of what actually happened. For example, an AI programmer can create a deep fake video of a mass shooting with fake victims and witnesses. The fabricated footage could be shared and spread on social media, affecting how members of the community respond to the event. The Intercept reported today that the United States Special Commands operation is moving quickly and deeply to master deepfake video propaganda. So let's start today's true news with this headline from The Intercept. U.S. Special Forces want to use deepfakes for psyops, psychological operations. So, Doc, here we are. We're starting out a True News episode with a story about the Pentagon going all the way in.

They're going in all the way to master and control deep fake videos. And I'm of the opinion they probably already have. It's just a matter of now they're openly talking about it. Oh, Doc, I am convinced that much of what we perceive as reality is manufactured. I think it has been for quite some time. I say we're living in a Masonic matrix. We don't know what's real anymore. We don't know what's really happened and has not happened.

We look at the videos online and on television and we're told that happened. But how do you know it happened? Because they told you it happened. They said it happened. And here's the video and here's the pictures. But how do you know?

We live in an age where you just don't know. I saw a video a week ago of Joe Biden saying the selective service was being reactivated. But it was totally fake. It was generated by AI. But it took me a while to figure out, wait a minute, this gentleman's more coherent than the current president, so this must be fake. So you figured out it was fake because he could make a sentence. That's right. It was more coherent than Mr. Biden. But in this particular, all joking aside, this particular article is telling us that the U.S. Special Operations Command is in deep on getting into the PSYOP's business as if they aren't already.

The U.S. Special Operations Command, responsible for some of the country's most secretive military endeavors, is now gearing up to conduct Internet propaganda and deception campaigns online using deepfake videos. And this is according to federal contracting documents reviewed by The Intercept. Now, the plans, which also describe hacking internet-connected devices to eavesdrop in order to assess foreign populations' susceptibility to propaganda, come at a time of intense global debate

over technologically sophisticated disinformation campaigns, their effectiveness, and the ethics of their use. Okay, let's just stop right there and let's talk. Let's have a moment. Let's have a discussion about what we just read from The Intercept. It says the plan, this is the Pentagon's plan, SOCOM, Special Operations Command. They want to hack Internet-connected devices. They want to.

They want to, like they haven't done it. Yes. Okay. What are we talking about? Alexa, smart speakers. Google Home, yes. Or any device. Any device.

Your doorbell. Yes, your doorbell. For what purpose? To eavesdrop. That's called spying. To spy on what you and your wife are talking about in the privacy of your home. The Pentagon wants to listen in to your conversations of course they're only going to do this overseas right they would never ever

ever never ever ever ever never ever ever ever ever ever never even never one more Never. Never. Even never. One more here? The Pentagon would never do it inside America to Americans. Because they said so. That's right. And they'll make a video that tells you that they won't do it. And they're debating the ethics of its use. Yes.

So why would they eavesdrop to assess foreign populations? Okay, we'll go along with the story. Yeah, they're only going to do it in Russia. Okay. All right, we'll do that. We'll believe it. To assess foreign population susceptibility to propaganda. In other words, we're going to listen to the conversations in the homes. We'll pick Russia. We know they want to bring down Russia. They want to cause Russia to collapse.

So, the Pentagon is going to hack devices in the homes of Russian citizens. Not just Putin's home. Not just Medvedev's home. Not just Medvedev's home. The ordinary citizens. You know, Igor's home.

They're going to go into the average Russian family's home. For what purpose? To find out information. How do they talk? Right. What are they talking about in the privacy of their home?

And what propaganda would work against that conversation? Then they create the propaganda that fits their thinking. Well, thank goodness that would only happen in a foreign nation. They wouldn't do it here. Now, while the U.S. government routinely warns against the risk of deep fakes and is openly working to build tools to counter them,

the document from the Special Operations Command represents a nearly unprecedented instance of the American government, or any government for that matter, openly signaling its desire to use the highly controversial technology offensively. Doc, don't you... We've been talking about deep fakes now for, what, four or five years?

Right. Six years or so? But the technology now is so... has increased so much, Rick. But didn't you just assume that the government would outlaw it? Didn't you assume that the government would say, hey, this is horrible? Well, you would think it would be a violation of a person's right. We have to outlaw it.

We have to make it a federal crime. Nobody can do a deepfake video. It's illegal. Nobody can do a deep fake video. It's illegal. Nobody can do it. That's not our government. Our government says we're going to become masters of deep fake videos. Who can make war with the beast? The master of lying.

And who is the father of lies? The devil. Satan himself. Lucifer. So the people that are doing this and let's just say it. Hey, if you're in the Pentagon and you're pushing for this, your father is the devil. Yes. You're a terror. Okay. You're a terror. Now, a lot of these people say, well, I go to church. So what? You're a terror. You're a terror. You're a tear.

Your father is the devil. If you practice lying, if lying is, you go to work and your assignment is to figure out how to lie and deceive people, then your father is the devil. You can't go to church on Sunday, put on your evangelical mask on Sunday and say, I'm a born again evangelical Christian. And I work at SOCOM and I come up with ways to deceive people. I lie all day. I lie all day. And I learn how to deceive people. And I spy on people in their private conversations. Christians don't do those things. See, we're at a place. We're at a place where Christians are going to have to come out of Babylon. Yes. You can't continue doing this stuff and coming up with excuses that Jesus likes it.

He doesn't. He condemns lying. He condemns deception where where show me where jesus taught his disciples to deceive and lie nowhere but our pentagon is receiving from us the taxpayers vast sums of money to specialize in lying and deceiving. But only in foreign governments. Okay. So we'll buy that.

We'll buy that, Doc. So you're telling me that foreign governments aren't going to do it to us? Absolutely. That's the other side of the coin here. I mean, I believe our own government would spy on us from the Pentagon on. But you've got to calculate that China is going to be looking in. They're doing deepfake videos now imported from China. I mean, how can you trust anything that Chinese propaganda puts out?

But now the playing field is even with artificial intelligence now. Anyone can generate deep fake videos so it the world is changing rapidly dog i had a private investigator tell me recently that the easiest thing to hack in the home are the smart speakers this is the easiest thing to hack he He said, it's done every day. I mean, he said, like, this isn't something that could happen. He said, this is done every day.

And then he told me other things that are in our homes and offices that can be hacked. I was like, are you serious? They can get into those too? This was a private investigator who makes his living helping people avoid these kind of things. You know, some of the smart bulbs that you buy now have microphones in them.

Oh, yes. I said, why would you need a microphone and a light bulb? Well, for this very reason. They're collecting data. They're gathering information. Yes. And so, now the document that they're talking about, Well, for this very reason. They're collecting data. They're gathering information. And so now the document that they're talking about, this is from US SOCOM. This is the one that they're referencing with all the details related to this particular advancement in the agenda for the Special Operations Command.

Yeah. So I want our audience to understand we're not making this up. That's a real U.S. government document right there. And look at the date on it, just a couple weeks ago, 15 February of this year. And there's more than one page. And Doc, I don't know how much of it you read, but I would recommend everybody go online, go to the Intercept website, click the article, and then inside the article, they have this document embedded. And it is quite shocking what the Pentagon is involved in. Now, this next quote from the article by the Intercept, listen to this. This is the one that got my attention. I was talking to Rick about this pitch document that you just saw. It was first published by SOCOM's Directorate of Science and Technology back in 2020.

Established a wish list of next generation toys for the 21st century Special Forces Commando. A litany of gadgets and futuristic tools that will help the country's most elite soldiers more effectively hunt and kill their targets listen to this using lasers robots holographs and other sophisticated hardware why would you use a holograph to track down somebody and kill them well to deceive them to fool them um but the fact that they even mention holographs means that they're using them. Somebody is. It was 2020. Right.

We're three years advanced. I can't help but think they were using them then, and if they were then, how much further advanced are they now? That really caught my attention there. And how realistic are the holographs that the military is using? Are they so realistic that the military's targets actually believe they're talking to a real person? But we don't know, do we? I mean, the fact that they even mention holographs in addition to these other technologies we know exist, I just didn't know that we're that far advanced in holographic technology that they're

considering implementing it on the battlefield situation. Now, last October, SOCOM released an updated version of its wish list with a new section for Advanced Technologies for Use in Military Information Support Operations, or MISO. And this is a Pentagon euphemism for its global propaganda. Global? Yes. The whole world? The Pentagon is lying to the whole world.

Well, the Pentagon's gathering information on the whole world. Now, the added paragraph spells out SOCOM's desire to obtain new and improved means of carrying out influence operations, digital deception, communication disruption, and disinformation campaigns at the technical edge and the operational levels. Okay, stop right there because I'm going to bring this home. We all lived through it. 2020, 2021, 2022, the COVID pandemic. That was a U.S. military operation. That was a U.S. military operation. Yes.

The military, the U.S. military owns the vaccines. Pfizer and the other pharmaceutical companies, they were simply contractors for the Pentagon. The Pentagon outsourced the production of the vaccines, and they weren't vaccines. They were operating systems that they injected into human bodies so that they could begin manipulating their DNA. But what we went through in 2020, 21, 22 was the world's first massive global propaganda campaign. I'll qualify that because I think Y2K

was definitely a global propaganda campaign. But that was using basically Stone Age tools compared to today. Yes, but they practiced on the world. They got the entire world to believe that all the computers were going to stop operating at midnight on December 31st, 1999. And they got the whole world to buy new computers or

to spend a lot of money on remediation and downloading patches, which the Pentagon and the CIA created so that they could have access to the computers. That's right. Okay. It wasn't conspiracy theorists who came up with Y2K, but if you talk to people today, they would go, oh yeah, the Y2K conspiracy theory. No, the Pentagon came up with that idea. Yes. I watched generals testify before Congress and say, senators, we're very concerned that the Russian ICBMs are going to malfunction on December 31st, and we could have the accidental launching of ICBMs and nuclear warheads. I saw that. Right. So the remedy was to replace our computers,

not the Russians. No, they wanted the Russians, they wanted the Russians to replace their computers. And they had the computers made for the Russians to buy. And then on December 31st, 1999, the Russians figured out what was going on, and they removed

Yeltsin from the Kremlin, and they put Putin in power. from the Kremlin and they put Putin in power right and they sent a message to to Bill Clinton don't do it don't do it tonight something was planned for that night that was a propaganda operation now the next big one, I would count the 2020, well, the campaign against President Trump from 2000, let's say 17, late 16, after the election, until he left the White House in 21. That was another massive propaganda campaign to destabilize a society, to destabilize the presidency of the United States, to affect the minds of tens of millions of people,

to turn people against their elected president. That was propaganda. That was a massive propaganda operation. Then they switched over to COVID. Right. And then they switched to Ukraine war. Right. And right now we're in the Ukraine war propaganda. I saw a story today, early this morning, Doc. I want to say the Times of London, they had a picture of Putin,

looked like he was about 12 years old, 10, 12 years old. And the headline said something like, Putin was Putin before he grew up. So he was evil. He was evil. Even as a kid. As a little kid, he was evil. It was on the front page of the Times,

that evil little Putin. You know? Propaganda. It's propaganda. Okay? We're in the propaganda war. That's all that's going on. And the Pentagon's running the propaganda war.

And the CIA. We're in a propaganda war. You've got to guard your mind. We've got to get to more of this story here before we run out of time. So SOCOM is seeking a next generation capability to collect desperate information through public and open source information streams

like social media, local media, to enable me to craft and direct influence operations. And perhaps as provocative as the mention of deepfakes is the section that follows, which notes SOCOM wishes to finely tune its offensive propaganda seemingly by spying on the intended audience through their own internet-connected devices.

There you go. Right in your home. Mr. and Mrs. America, your TV set is watching you. You're watching your TV, but your TV is watching you. Your smart TV is watching you. And your light bulb is listening to you. Yes. And your doorbell is answering you.

And you're inside the matrix of the beast system. They don't have to waste time spying on me because I say in front of cameras what I say in my home. So the government could save money and not spy on me. Just watch true news. I'll just say it out in front of everybody.

That's the way to deal with them. Say it out in the open. Just say it in the open. And in your home, talk about Jesus a lot. Oh, really? See, this is why Christians, you ought to be talking about Jesus day and night. It ought to be Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. It's the name they can't stand.

They can't stand that name, Jesus. It'll send that AI algorithm upside down. Just keep saying the name Jesus. Praise him, worship him, sing to him. That's the way to make war against the beast. That's the only way to make war. It's the only way. Well, I don't know how much further you want to go. Oh, well, we've got seven minutes. Let's keep going. Now, described as the next generation ability to take over the Internet of Things. These are the devices for collecting data and information from local populaces to enable a breakdown of what messaging might be popular and accepted through sifting of data once received.

It says the document says that the ability to eavesdrop on propaganda targets would enable MISO to craft and promote messages that may be more readily received by the local populace. In other words, they listen and then craft a propaganda message for them. So propaganda that would work in New York City won't work in Fort Worth, Texas. Now, what's interesting, this article says back in 2017, Rick, WikiLeaks published Pilfered CIA files that revealed a thoroughly, excuse me, a roughly similar capability to hijack into household devices. Now you know why a certain person's in prison in the UK. And they're going to kill him. So they're going to keep him there until he dies. Now, back in an April 2018 hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee, General

Kenneth Tovo of the Army Special Operations Command assured the assembled senators that American Special Forces were working to close what he called the propaganda gap. Do you think the military would spy on senators? I believe they already have, Rick. Of course they have. He said, we have invested heavily in our SIOP operations. He said developing new capabilities, particularly to deal in the digital space, social media analysis and a variety of different tools that have been fielded by SOCOM that allow us to evaluate the social media space, evaluate the cyber domain, see trend analysis, where

opinion is moving, and then how to potentially influence that environment with their own products. With their products. That's right. They're producing it. Rick, this was 2018. Yes, that's five years ago. So nestled within the most recent National Defense Authorization Act back in 2021 was a directive instructing the Pentagon to complete what they called an intelligence assessment of the threat posed by foreign governments and non-state actors creating or using machine-manipulated media, commonly referred to as deepfakes, including how such media has been used or might be used to conduct information warfare.

So, Rick, is it real? Remember back the old commercial, is it real or is it Memorex? Memorex. Because the quality of the recording was so good on Memorex tape, could you distinguish from a live performance? Well, now you have to ask yourself, is it real? Is the video real? And then you're going to have to ask yourself, is the person real standing in front of you? Because they're going to put holographic images in front of you that are going to look real.

Yes. And you won't know if you're talking to a real person or an image. I'll tell you what comes to my mind. Matthew 24, 24, Jesus is talking about the end of the world. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders

to deceive, if possible, even the elect. That means the deception will be so convincing, so professional, so realistic, that even born-again, spirit-filled, Bible-believing,

baptized Christians will fall for it. That's what it means. Right. That the elect will have to guard their minds not to be deceived. That's the level of deception that's coming. Did you ever put this together with false Christ, false prophets, holographic images,

deep fake videos? I've always thought that in the last days that the Antichrist, the man of perdition really, we should address him as, would perform fake miracles using holographic technology. Yeah, there you go, Doc. I mean, fake revivals, fake miracles, fake messages from heaven. Maybe fake raising people from the dead. And people believing, hey, this is Jesus Christ. He just raised somebody from the dead. If a holographic image of Jesus appeared,

a lot of people would believe it. Right. And would worship it. The image of the beast. That's the one that gets me in the... The Bethel church would invite him. To their school of technology. But in Revelation where it talks about the image of the beast,

I've always thought, is that a picture? Is that an icon? Is it a video? But now it could be a holographic image. Well, it says that the people will conform to the image of the beast. That's true, yes. So through the propaganda, through mind manipulation, that's what this is all about.

This is how to manipulate the minds of billions of people. Because that's the purpose of propaganda is to conform people. Conform your thinking so that you change your behavior. Right. And if you change your thinking and change your behavior to do what the beast wants and to think as the beast

wants you to think, you have conformed to the image of the beast. The beast has put its image up and said, this is reality. We're going to generate a false reality. We want you to conform to this false image, this false reality.

If it's that deceptive, how can the believer, Rick, prepare for that? How can they be ready for that? You have to be in Christ. You have to be in the secret place of the most high. You have to be so close to your father. You know his voice. You know it's his voice. You can distinguish his voice from a fake voice. But you can only have that discernment if you're close to him because he speaks in a whisper. He speaks to us in a whisper, in a still, small voice. And we have to go, yes, it's you, Lord.

That's you, Lord. There'll be other voices saying, I'm Jesus. I'm Christ. I'm the Lord. But you have to say, no, that's a, Lord. There'll be other voices saying, I'm Jesus. I'm Christ. I'm the Lord. But you have to say, no, that's a fake voice. I know my life. I know my master. I know his voice.

Okay. He said, I have sheep and they know my voice. And that's where we have to be. We're going to, we will have to be in the presence of the Lord day and night in order to survive. they take us all for complete idiots. They just, they really do think we're just dumb and stupid. Here's the New York Times headline today. You ready? Intelligence suggests pro-Ukrainian group sabotage pipelines, U.S. officials say. Yes. Intelligence agencies in the United States suggest to you that you believe that Ukrainian spies blew up the pipelines. Because they've been caught at it.

Right. They get caught. Seymour Hersh at it. Right. They get caught. Seymour Hersh exposed them. Yes. So what are they doing? They know. See, they're listening in. All right.

The Pentagon and the CIA are listening to your conversations in your home. Right. And they know that the majority of the American people believe that the United States government blew up the Nord Stream pipelines. They know that. They know it. So they can't deny it because they know that the public will reject the denial. So what do you do?

Put another story out. Blame somebody else. U.S. intelligence, we're investigating and we have figured it out. The Ukrainians did it. But we don't know which ones. That's right. It could be sort of Ukrainians. They're so sneaky.

They're very sneaky Ukrainians. And the CIA and the Pentagon, defense intelligence, they're all working on it. But they know the Ukrainians did it. And they're going to get them. They're going to get them. Eventually, it's all going to come out, Doc. That's what the New York Times is telling us today in this propaganda piece. Written by AI.

I don't think they even write this stuff anymore. They just tell AI, write us a propaganda article. I wonder if you could do that. Of course you could. Of course. Just create the headline and just say. Yes.

Tell AI, here's the headline. Write an article. Oh, that's scary. Well, it's been going on. It's been happening for years. Well. Doc, when we were in Davos in, I don't know if it was 18 or 20, I think it was 20, that night we sat in the ski lodge

eating dinner and we had that real far out dinner table talk about what we heard. Because remember Yuval Harari spoke that day and he spoke about creating new species of humans and so forth. And so we sat at the table at the ski lodge when we got back to where we were staying, and we had that really—that was one of the best true news episodes, and it wasn't recorded. Right. Okay?

But we had an audience. Yes, we did. The Swiss people in the restaurant were listening. We forgot that the Swiss speak English, right? And they commented about the dinner talk. But one of the things that I said, and this was 2020, I said, Doc, and everybody was there at the table, I said, could artificial intelligence be the explanation

for why world politicians are making the craziest decisions. Right. That do not have any logic. That their citizens oppose. That nobody can understand why would you make that decision? Does it make sense? And I said, are they simply obeying what AI is telling them? Are the politicians saying, oh, people aren't going to like this,

but AI said this is the decision we must make? Well, that would mean that even back as far as 18 and 20, that there was enough artificial intelligence available to select politicians to make those kind of decisions. But the only way the artificial intelligence would make those kind of decisions is if AI knew the end game. I understand what you're saying now.

You have to program AI. Our goal is world domination. Our goal is a world government. How do we get there? Our goal is world domination. Our goal is a world government. How do we get there? And AI is mapping out the journey. That's where I think we're at. But anyhow, the New York Times has figured out,

the U.S. intelligence agencies. The mystery is solved now. Ukrainians did it. Let's read it just for fun. We'll pretend that we believe it. Okay. and this is a step toward determining responsibility for an act of sabotage that has confounded investigators. Doc, you know what? We need to add a laugh track to Trudy's. This is when you should have laughter, a laugh track. Now, Rick, there's more to it. U.S. officials said they had no evidence now that President Zelensky or his top lieutenants were involved in the operation. Of course not. He didn't do it.

Or that the perpetrators were acting at the direction of Ukrainian government officials. It's those wild, rogue Ukrainians, Rick. Zelensky didn't do it because he was giving a concert playing his guitar with no clothes on. U.S. officials said that there was much they did not know about the perpetrators and the affiliations. They don't know much, Rick. But they know they did it. The review of newly collected intelligence suggests they were opponents of President Putin of Russia,

but it does not specify the members of the group or who directed the group or who paid for the operation. But we just know the Ukrainians did it. No, they didn't. Now, U.S. officials declined to disclose the nature of their intelligence. Can't tell you. How it was obtained or any details of the strength of the evidence it contains.

But it's strong, Rick. They have said that there are no firm conclusions about it, leaving open the possibility that the operation might have been conducted off the books by a proxy force with connections to the Ukrainian government or its security services. All right, if AI didn't write this, then some propaganda writers wrote it late at night and they were totally drunk. And they laughed line by line because this is one of the most ridiculous articles I've read in years, Doc. Well, officials who reviewed the intelligence, Rick, said they believe the saboteurs were most likely Ukrainian or Russian nationals or some combination of the two. U.S. officials said no American or British nationals

were involved. No Anglo-Saxons. Nope. No, no, no, no. Now, U.S. officials said the new intelligence reporting has increased their optimism that American spy agencies and their partners in Europe can find more information, create more information, find more information, which could allow them to reach a firm conclusion about the perpetrators. Now, it's unclear, Rick, how long this is going to take. American officials recently discussed the intelligence with their European counterparts who have taken the lead in investigating the attack. Now, another article, this is out of TASS, out of Russia. It's saying, this is the headline, the investigation of Germany found that traces of explosions on the Nord Stream pipelines lead to Ukraine.

Well, that's what the Germans are saying. German experts have achieved a breakthrough in the investigation into the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines that have established that the trail leads to Ukraine, Zeit newspaper reported Tuesday. Specifically, the investigators managed to identify a vessel that in all likelihood was used in a covert operation. We're talking about a yacht that was rented by a company registered in Poland, which apparently belonged to Ukrainians. It wasn't that NATO naval exercise. No, not at all.

Investigators found traces of explosives on the table in the cockpit, the newspaper noted. Now, according to the information of the ARD TV channel, the SVR television and radio company and ZEIT, the Western Intelligence Service already in the fall conveyed to the European partner services that the Ukrainian group was responsible for the destruction. Now, traces of explosives were found on the ship used to blow up the Nord Stream pipelines. Now, according to ZEIT, those involved in the Nord Stream sabotage used fake passports. The nationality of the criminals has not been officially established. And according to the newspaper, one of the Western intelligence services reported back in the fall of 2022 that a Ukrainian group was responsible for blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline.

Well, first of all, that pipeline is a pretty massive thing. It's not like, you know, a four-inch sewer pipe that you bury in your backyard. These are, it takes some effort to create damage to them. They're in 200 foot of water,

freezing water, mind you. So whoever planted the explosives had to have access to the pipeline, the ability to plant the explosives, the equipment to be able to go down to 200 feet. And to detonate it. Right. So a couple of Ukrainian yahoos on a yacht.

They must have an amazing navy in Ukraine. First of all, they're not going to free dive down to 200 feet. They have to have special equipment. From their yacht. Yeah. Just believe it, Doc. Go along with the story. Make your life easy.

Believe this stuff. Well, we were talking a few weeks back how Ukraine was asking for submarines. Okay, well, maybe they have a submarine now. Who knows? Tell me that story. Tell me a Ukrainian submarine blew it up. If the Ukrainians did it, shouldn't they be proud about it? Shouldn't they be crowing about it, Rick?

Give this 30 days and the New York Times will report that it was done by a group of dissident Russian commandos who wanted to stop Putin from inside Russia. They'll take it back and they'll make these guys the good guys. These are good Russians. So what you're saying is

they'll throw out some more propaganda out there and continue to muddy up the entire water so you never... And then people will be arguing and debating which propaganda story they believe rather than just believe what Seymour Hersh reported. That's the way propaganda works. But they're listening to you talking in your homes. They're already doing it.

They know who plans to vote for Trump, who plans to vote for DeSantis, who plans to vote for Biden. They already know. They're listening. They're gauging. They're monitoring. And they're massaging the mindset of the people. They're moving it hour by hour with new propaganda. They're using millions and billions of bots on social media. You forget about the bots. The bots are part of this campaign. And now you have armies of bots fighting against each other for control. And where do armies come from? The military. So the Pentagon is sending out their propaganda bots.

We're living in a Masonic matrix. Turn the garbage off. Stop listening to it. Get into the word of God and flush this stuff out of your head. I only get enough information to discern the lies. Okay. The truth is over here. This is truth. The news is lies. I'm at the point, doc. I don't know if anything is the truth.

Except this. I know this is the truth. Right. Most news, my attitude is like eating corn on a cob. You just eat some corn and throw out a cob. And most of it's cob. Yes, but we're at the point now that the corn is not real. Okay?

See where we're at? You can't trust the corn. You can't trust the corn. The next one. This is actually a couple of weeks old from Euro Weekly. Only 30% of Germany's leopard tanks are combat ready. What about the other 70%? Well, they're not combat ready. Are they missing tread? I mean, what's missing on them? Well, the article... Think about this.

Germany's in NATO, right? Is this article propaganda? Are we being told over and over and over, oh, it's really bad. We were out of bullets. Our tanks,

the tanks are missing parts. That's the current explanation. Is it propaganda or is it truth? Is it propaganda to make the Russians think that NATO is weak? Or is it truth about the weakness of NATO? We don't know, do we? That's the nature of propaganda, isn't it? That's right.

So we don't know. But according to the story, only 30% of Germany's tanks are ready to go out on the battlefield. Well, what if Russia is as bad as they say they are and Putin is, as a kid, as a 12-year-old, he was thinking about taking over Europe. According to the newspaper today, he was a dictator. I'm just sorry. He caught me off on that one. He was setting cats on fire when he was a kid. There was another story I read today,

okay, that Putin is kidnapping children in Ukraine. Oh, yes. That's been going on since the middle of last year. Yeah. Well, they brought it back out. Okay, so if Putin is as mean and bad and evil and dahabako as they say he is, and he's been plotting to take Europe, and he's getting older, and he's got to do this. He's like, you know, he's, he's in his seventies now. And like, if he's going to, if he's going to take over Europe,

he's got to do it now. Well, wouldn't you have your tanks ready? You would, if you believed your own stuff, right. Then they don't believe, they don't believe what they're telling us, because if they believe what they're telling us about Putin, they'd have 100% of their tanks ready. Right. Gassed up and sitting there with the engines running.

Right? And you've got to be thinking that the Russians are reading the Euro Weekly too and saying, hey, Germany only has half their tanks working right now.

This is a unique opportunity for us. Well, that's what I'm saying. Is it propaganda? Is it rope-a-dope? Is this rope-a-dope? Muhammad Ali, are they doing rope-a-dope? Is Germany laying in the ropes going,

oh, we don't have any tanks to fight with, and hoping Russia comes over and then they sucker punch them? I don't believe it. I saw another article today that Germany was trying to make deals like with Belgium and the Netherlands and everything to get their operational leopard tanks in to Ukraine. And Germany would trade them for the inoperational tanks. So think about that. Say you're Belgium, right? You've got some, I don't know how many tanks. Let's say you got 10 leopard tanks. Germany says, hey, can't know how many tanks. Let's say you've got 10 Leopard tanks.

Germany says, hey, can we have your operational tanks, and we'll give you our inoperational tanks. That's quite a deal. I mean, and you're going to defend Belgium? You're going to defend Brussels? Putin's not going to invade Belgium. He's going to go straight to Berlin. This story,

where did we leave off? Well, we didn't get into the quotes. Yeah, let's go ahead. So Andre Woessner, the head of the German military union, told the Sunday Bild am Sonntag newspaper, only less than half

of the Leopard tanks of the German armed forces are suitable for use in combat. Now, according to him, of the approximately 300 Leopard tanks that the Bunzwa has, only 30% are currently in combat readiness. Now, as Wissner pointed out, the German armed forces will have to order replacements for the 18 Leopard 2 tanks that Berlin has decided to provide to Ukraine. So, speaking about the Ukrainian conflict,

Wurzener expressed the opinion that it would be naive to believe that it will end this year. We're living through a decade of war in Europe. Now that is important to read. That's the one thing that's truthful in this article. So, and then went on to say, NATO and Germany must strategically prepare for a decade of threats. We're living through it.

10 years of war. So we just had 20 years of war in the Middle East. Now we're doing 10 years of war in Europe. There are 30 years now. Right. And Cheney said 100 years. Right, so still 70 more after that. We'll move to China after that.

That statement is amazing. It's the first time I've heard someone say, we're going to be at war for 10 years. Well, they kind of hinted at it and said, we're going to have 10 winners, 10 hard winners. So now we're tying it. Now those winners are going to be because of war that's going on in Europe.

So the European wars are coming back. The wars of the 19th and 18th centuries. Now Rick, assuming that this information is true, now let's assume that it's true, would you want to say it out loud? No, that's what I'm saying. This is really amazing. If it's true, then Germany has not been doing what it's supposed to do to be a member of NATO.

The German government has failed miserably to be a responsible member of NATO. If your tanks aren't ready to go into battle, then you're irresponsible. So the alternative is it's propaganda to deceive the Russians into thinking that NATO is weak. And they don't have enough tanks available to fight when the spring thaw comes. Okay, the next story is from RT. Ukraine considers LGBTQ breakthrough.

Now, traditionally, for as long as anyone can remember, Ukraine has been pretty much against any sort of LGBTQ policy. Until Zelensky. That's right. Zelensky is pro-homosexuality so is nato and so ukraine's former deputy culture minister has proposed legalizing same-sex civil partnerships arguing that it would both reward the service of lgbtq soldiers and also please kiev's foreign backers that's the important one who would that be who is kiev's foreign backers. That's the important one. Who would that be? Who is Kiev's foreign backers?

United States, NATO. Ina Sovtsyn of the Golis Party announced on Tuesday that she has submitted the bill to the Verkhanov Rada for consideration. That's their parliament. Legalization of single-sex relationships is very important to me now because if I come home dead, my partner can't even bury me. That was one of the arguments from the Ukrainian LGBT soldiers and allies Facebook community that Sobson quoted in announcing the bill.

The bill is a product of nine months of work involving two NGOs. That means foreign influence there. It would establish legal grounds for people in same-sex relationships to regulate property ownership, inheritance, pensions, and death benefits. Okay, so let's just be real and honest here. The United States of America and Western Europe is financing a homosexual war. Yes.

This is a war for homosexuality in Ukraine. Right? Yes. And Putin, this horrible monster, he passed a law, monster, he passed a law. His Duma passed a law that says you can't distribute homosexual propaganda to children. We've got to stop Putin. Right.

He's anti-gay. Right. We're going to have to destroy Russia. So why are all these evangelical Christians backing Zelensky and hoping that Putin dries up and dies? Why? Why are these American evangelical Christians rooting for Zelensky, who is a sexual deviant himself? Pro-homosexuality as a comedian perform naked on stage and the entire

American evangelical church world is lined up behind Zelensky. Because? And they hate Putin and the Russians. Because the evangelical church loves war. We worship war. We celebrate war. But why are they deceived by Zelensky?

Why are they deceived by him? I'll say it because he's Jewish. You can't say anything bad about Zelensky because you'll be anti-Semitic. You're saying that there are Jewish influences in this war to destroy Russia and to establish homosexuality in Ukraine? Well, look at the leadership of Ukraine. It's also diverse, like we call ourselves, our administration diverse.

That's code word for we've got a lot of Jewish people in the cabinet. And I'll say, you know, specifically Zionist Jews in the cabinet. Just look at number 38, Doc. So I could say that this is what our Western allies are demanding of us. And it is true, they are. NATO is demanding that Ukraine pass a same-sex marriage law. Have you heard this before?

Yes. I thought we were fighting for democracy in the American way. The American way is the gay way, Rick. The American way is the gay way. Right. Right? That's what we're fighting for. We're fighting for the opportunity for men to wear dresses.

But this isn't the first time time American government has tried to influence other governments and say, you either tow the line or we cut the checks off or you don't get to be part of this particular club. And every administration has done it. She says that 56% of the population would be in favor of the partnerships. But she went on to say, as a society, we have matured beyond the Russian swamp and Soviet worldview because Ukraine values human dignity and freedom.

Ukrainians are simply a different biological species than Russians, she concluded. What does that mean? Oh, she means that they're a higher class of people, that they are a better breed of humans. That sounds racist.

Now, you ask the Russian-speaking people in eastern Ukraine what they think of the policies of Kiev, who have been suffering through it since 2014. So, yes, they've been treated like a different breed of humans, like garbage. Hey, we only got a couple of minutes and I got to wrap this up. But man, there's some big stories and we'll probably go come back tomorrow and go deeper into this. But I do want our audience to know about them. The next one, this is from ABC. That's the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

China says there will surely be conflict with the United States if Washington does not change its path. And this is coming from the Chinese foreign minister. He's blaming the U.S. for rising tensions between Washington and Beijing and said, if the U.S. does not change its path, there will surely be conflict and confrontation. He says that the U.S. has been engaging in suppression and containment of China rather than competition. And that's China's new foreign minister, Quingen, speaking to reporters at a news conference in Beijing on the sidelines of the annual parliament meeting. Okay, we got a short video clip from France 24 television, and it's got English subtitles. We'll watch it. If the United States does not hit the brakes but continues to speed down the wrong path, no amount of guardrails can prevent derailing or a crash,

and there will surely be conflict and confrontation. No guardrails in a crash. So he said, if America continues the path it's on, America and China are going to war. That's what the man just said. You guys continue acting like you act every day, we're going to war. This is not a matter of, it's really just a question of when. He said, if there's no change in behavior and attitude, we are going to war. So I don't think the Western leaders are going to change.

That means they would have to become Christians and stop being sons of the devil. Right. Quit blowing people up. One more big story. We are not going to have time to finish this one, but I got to show you this. I got this one out of Australia also.

I know that Australia is trying to align itself with NATO, but are they trying to qualify and say, hey, we can rob banks just like you guys do? Well, that was my first thought, is that they snookered the Chinese, but they got caught at it. But here's the main thing is the Perth Mint, which has had this outstanding reputation all

Hello, everybody. My name is Rick Wiles, and this weekday television program, Morning Manna, is devoted to making ready a people prepared for the Lord. That's because King Jesus will return to earth someday to gather

his elect, and you and I must be remnant ready. I believe that Jesus Christ has a remnant church that will triumphantly endure to the end. And I also believe that we must have Abraham's faith. That's because Abraham was not weak in faith. Unbelief did not make him stagger at the promise of God. Abraham remained strong in faith and gave glory to God. He was the father of the remnant ready church. And if Abraham were here today, Abraham would tell us to shine brightly, taste salty, love everybody. Well, last week, we began a study of the parables of Jesus. So far, we have studied the parable of the sower and the parable of the tares. Today, we will study the parable of the mustard seed. Dr. Raymond Burkhart will begin today's Bible lesson by reading from the 13th chapter of the Gospel of Jesus Christ,

according to St. Matthew, verses 31 and 32. So if you have your Bibles, open up to Matthew chapter 13, please. It's very short. Another parable put forth he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took

and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all seeds. But when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. Very short parable, just two verses there, Rick.

And a lot of people, they're familiar with this parable, the parable of the mustard seed. And they may have what they have in their mind, the interpretation of it. Jesus doesn't give an interpretation of this particular parable. Unlike what he did with the parable of the tares and the parable of the sower, he gave explanations to those. Yeah. And I think, Doc, probably, I believe a lot of people combine the parable of the mustard seed and Jesus' teaching to have faith like a mustard seed. And I think subconsciously they combine the two

in that they think that the parable of the mustard seed is about having faith. Right. But there's a lot more in this parable. And we're going to talk about it today. Jesus taught in parables. He still teaches us in parables because we could spend a year studying the parables. He still teaches us in parables because we could spend a year studying the parables

and not understand everything. So to this very day, he's still teaching through parables. And what is he teaching in the parables? He's teaching us about the kingdom. That's right. That's the key. It's all about the kingdom. That's what the parables are about. Not the kingdom that's in heaven. He's teaching us about the kingdom of heaven that's on earth. That's right. A lot of people think this is about understanding what's going on in heaven. That's not the purpose of the parables the parables is to teach us the principles the ways the laws of the kingdom of heaven on earth the kingdom of heaven will go away when christ comes back and it will be we will then be in the fullness of the kingdom of god right because

the old earth and even the old heaven, will pass away itself. We'll have a new home, the new Jerusalem. So for this age, this age between the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, his return back to heaven, and the second coming,

his return back to earth, in this age, we are living in the kingdom of heaven. And we have to understand the laws, the principles of the kingdom of heaven, which he lays out in what we call the Sermon on the Mount. Although that sermon is given several times, there's a Sermon on the Mount and Sermon on the Mound. Right.

And Sermon on the Plain too. Yes. So he, you know, mountain, sermon on the mound. Right. And sermon on the plain, too. Yes. So he, you know, he, well, that's what I meant, a sermon on the plain. So he gave it once on the mountain, at least one time on the plain. But it was his, it was the bedrock of his teaching. He's teaching about the kingdom. He came to introduce the kingdom to us, to offer it to us, to invite us into the kingdom.

We're in the kingdom now. If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, if you've been saved and you're baptized and the Holy Spirit is dwelling inside you, you are already in the kingdom of heaven. Right. And it's not just important. It's vital.

It's necessary. It's mandatory. That if you're saved, you must know how to operate in the kingdom of heaven while we're living on this earth. And in order to do that, you have to understand the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. And how is that revealed? Through the parables that Jesus taught. Now, the parable of the mustard seed here comes right on the heels of Jesus teaching on the

parable of the wheat and the tares. Now, he gives the explanation of the wheat and the tares later in the chapter, but he teaches on the wheat and the tares and then goes immediately into teaching on the parable of the mustard seed. In fact, all the parables in Matthew chapter 13 have a common theme, either growth of the kingdom or the separation within the kingdom. Or the effort of the enemy to destroy or tarnish the works of the kingdom. Which, when you read the parable of the mustard seed, and we'll talk about the standard interpretation here in a little bit, the standard interpretation doesn't fit the context of the rest of the chapter at all. You know, one thing, Doc, after he taught the parable of the sower, the disciples came to him and said,

Lord, why are you teaching us? Why are you telling us these stories? Why are you talking in parables? It's like they're saying, why are you talking with riddles? Right. Well, and he explains it in verse 10 through 13. He says,

And the disciples came and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you, speaking to the disciples, to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. You that are watching right now,

you're the you now today as well. Yes. It's given unto you, to you and me, to all of us. It's given unto you, to you and me, to all of us. If you are in Christ, God has decreed that you will understand

the mysteries of the kingdom. It goes on to say, for whosoever... Can I, not just one more thing, Doc. Oh, absolutely. I get frustrated when I see, when I see preachers on TV selling books about mysteries.

I just get frustrated when somebody writes a book and says, buy my book, I explain the mysteries. I mean, I've got the keys of the mysteries here, all right? There are these mysteries, and I figured out the mysteries. I mean, I've got the keys of the mysteries here. There are these mysteries and I've figured out the mysteries. That really upsets me because it's given to the whole church to understand. He doesn't have any secrets that he's keeping from his children. It's the people outside of the

church that don't understand the mysteries. So when somebody comes peddling a book that says, I alone, this great preacher, I've been given insight into the mysteries, forget it. It's usually Kabbalah. It's usually sorcery, numerology. Just forget about it.

Christ has given to you and me to understand the mysteries of the kingdom. And you don't need some spiritual rabbi or guru or whatever claiming that he has the key that unlocks the mysteries. He alone has the key. And for $20, he'll let you read it, okay? Well, and we know that happens. And so it goes on in that particular passage

there to say, for whosoever hath to him shall be given and he shall have more abundance. But whosoever hath not from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables, because they seeing see not, and hearing they hear not,

neither do they understand. And Jesus is quoting Isaiah in that last part there. So Jesus explains here why he teaches in parables, because there is, if you will, and we talked about this before, there is a paywall that exists. There's a cost to discipleship. There's a cost to understanding.

And that's intimacy with Jesus. That's at the core of it. And there's a reward. If you seek knowledge and understanding of the kingdom of heaven, he rewards you with more knowledge, more understanding. And if he refuses to learn. He takes away the little bit that you have. Right. Why?

Because you're not putting value on it. Right. And that goes completely along with the whole theme of Matthew chapter 13 and all the parables in it too, that there are some that will grow and develop and some that won't after they're planted. It's interesting at the end of Matthew 13, Jesus asked the disciples a question. He taught about seven different parables

in Matthew chapter 13. He asked them a question. Jesus saith unto them, have ye understood all these things? He's talking about all these parables that he's taught. Including the parable of the mustard seed in there. And they said unto him, yea, Lord. They said, yes. Then said he unto them, therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

And we're going to teach on this parable, because that's actually another parable. Right. We're going to teach on that later. The hidden parable. But we're bringing it out now because the point that we want you to understand is that Jesus is saying, you will understand. You do understand. And so he said, yes.

And when they said, yes, Lord, we understand, Jesus didn't say, you don't got it. I mean, no, he basically said, hey, you're like a scribe then, bringing forth things new and old. Yeah, Doc, what I envision, what I imagine, all right, because we know the disciples were slow in gaining a lot of things. It took them a while.

Sure. I mean, right up until the crucifixion, they were arguing over who was going to be the greatest. Well, even the resurrection, they were still disputing things. Right. So the boys were kind of slow on some things. But if you and I had been there, we probably would have been just the same. Nobody had ever presented the kingdom of heaven on earth. Nobody had ever talked about God as our father. Nobody had ever presented principles to live by like Jesus Christ gave us.

So, I mean, if we had been there at the time, we would have been a little bit slow also. But I kind of just imagine after Jesus has been teaching, you know, he's got the guys around him. He goes, hey, guys, you understand all this, right? Yeah. Yeah, Lord. Yeah, we got it. We got it down. Sure.

And I think he just went along with them. That's my view there. I think he just went along with them and said, in time, in time. What you have right now, guys, is that you have an understanding of the little that you understand. Right. So that they were telling the truth. Based on what they knew. They had a elementary surface level understanding of what he was teaching.

And I think the Lord knew that and he was okay with that. But he also knew what was up ahead for these guys. Right. The years of persecution, of affliction, the trials and tribulations that they would go through, that by the end of their lives, they would have it. They would know it. It would be deep in their heart, deep in their soul. But at that time, I think the Lord was like, okay, you guys say you got it. That's good enough for me. Let's move on to the next one. right well now uh this parable is uh the

parable the mustard seed is also uh in mark and in luke let's read uh from mark chapter four and he said where unto shall we liken the kingdom of god or with what comparison shall we compare it is like a grain of mustard seed which when it is sown in the earth is less than all the seeds that be in the earth but when it is sown it growth up and becometh greater than all herbs and shooteth out So let's keep that one in mind as we read from Luke. A little bit shorter in Luke. the kingdom of God like, and whereunto shall I resemble it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, cast into his garden, and it grew, and waxed a great tree, and the fowls there lodged in the branches of it. So we have the three different tellings of this single parable here. Each one's slightly different, but each one conveying the same basic information.

And for people that question, well, if the Bible is without error, then how could these be different? Because he gave it, he taught at different times. That's right. So you had different hears. He didn't just say it one time. The man was walking from city to city. He was preaching day and night and he had his basic teachings that he was delivering in every town. When he taught the parables in one town,

he walked to the next town. They hadn't heard the parables. He told them again. Maybe he had a little variation on it. So what Luke heard was accurate. What Matthew heard was accurate. Right. Yeah. And then for me, there's no contradiction in the telling of the parables at all. It's the principles that remain the same. Right. And that's what we want to get out here today. So doc, what's, what's the standard teaching? What were you taught in Bible college? And what did I hear going to church for decades? I'll go back to Sunday school when you first heard the story of the mustard seed. The seed is planted in the ground. It grows into a big tree and all the happy little birds, you know, are, you know, they're building nests

and they're, you know, they're chirping and they're, they're very happy. And that's my initial exposure to the parable of the message. And so what is that big tree? What is it? The big tree is the church that's grown up and it's going all over the world and it's providing shelter for all these little birds and everything. And shade.

Yes, and people are sitting under the tree. And you just imagine all of this. It's just getting bigger and bigger. Right. So the parable of the mustard. Isn't that the correct interpretation? Well, let's talk about that because we've been talking about what Jesus has said these different things in the other parables mean. If we apply those principles to the parable of the

mustard seed, we have a little bit different picture of what's going on. But the standard interpretation of the parable of mustard seed is that something big and blessed, the kingdom of God had some very humble beginnings. The way it's taught, Christ is the mustard seed. He had but a handful of followers. He was a man of no rank and without means, and he lived in what everyone considered a backwater region of the world. The life and death of Christ did not catch the world's attention any more than a mustard seed would be lying on the ground by the road. But this was a work of God. What seemed inconsequential at first grew into a movement of worldwide influence.

No one could stop it. The influence of the kingdom in this world would be such that everyone associated would find a benefit. And that's pictured as the birds perched on the branches of a mature mustard plant. Okay. That sounds like what I was taught. The closer thing to what I heard was what you described previously, and that is the church is the kingdom of God on earth, and that it's like a mustard seed.

It started out small, and it grew and grew and grew. It came up out of Jerusalem, and it spread across the Middle East, and then it went to Rome, and it went to India, and it just kept getting bigger and bigger and growing and growing, and that's the kingdom of God. It's a happy little parable. It's a happy place. It's got happy birds in it.

But the problem is this happy parable is in the middle of a bunch of parables that are warnings that's true and if we and jesus said the parable of the sower is the master key to understanding all the parables right so you got to get that one down right and what we learned in the past week and a half is that the elements of the parables remain the same right the sower is always jesus right all right the field is always the world um the evil and the sower what kind what does he sow good seed good seed he wouldn't sow bad seed no the devil sows bad seed. That's right. And so in the parable of the sower, the birds were not happy little birds. They came and stole the word of God.

And Jesus called, when he gave the interpretation, he said the birds were the enemy, Satan. He named them right out loud. Okay, so now, does that mean Jesus, the creator of the universe, doesn't like birds? No, just in the parables, they represent certain things. In this case... It's a figure. That's right.

It's a picture. It's an earthly picture of a heavenly understanding. It doesn't mean... He's not saying birds are demonic. Right. He's just saying in these stories, in these parables, whenever there's a bird, the bird represents the work of the enemy. Right. So in the parable of the mustard seed, you got birds.

But in my Sunday school class as a kid, I was pasting those little birds on the tree. Little blue birds and yellow birds and red birds. And you had to paste the nets. And if you had the Sunday school felt patches, you know, and everything, you had to put that on. So they were double birds.

Well, if we're using the key of the parable of the tares and the parable of the sower for an understanding for us, then what we understand first of all is that the mustard seed is a good seed sown by the sower for an understanding for us, then what we understand first of all is that the mustard seed is a good seed sown by the sower. It says in the parable, a man took and sowed in his field. We learn from the other parables, he that soweth the good seed is the son of man. Jesus

identifies himself as the sower in these parables. In the parable of the mustard seed, Jesus is that sower. And the field is the world. The world is the field. So Jesus sowed a mustard seed in the field. That's right. And so if he's the good sower, what does he sow? He sows good seed. And the good seed.

Why does it got dirty birds in it? We're going to talk about that. The tree, the mustard bush, it's not supposed to be a tree, Rick. That's right. That always bothered

me. I mean, seriously, bothered me for years. I'll go along with the standard interpretation. You know, who am I? I sit in church, and they're telling me it's a mustard tree. And I'm thinking to myself, there ain't no such thing as a mustard tree. You're right, there's not.

Well, then how could it be in the parable? Well, something has happened to what you would call the mustard bush. Something has happened along the way. It's a freak. That's right. But it was planted by Jesus. That's right. It was. What kind of stuff are you teaching now? But the bush did grow into a tree. The parable teaches. It became abnormal size, abnormal shape. It wasn't what it was supposed to be. Is that what you're saying? Yeah. It became something other than what it was intended to become. Now this starts fitting in with the rest of the parables in Matthew chapter 13. Suddenly this takes on a whole new meaning here. If we go on here with this, the bush becomes a tree

and this represents a violation of the creation principle that things are supposed to reproduce after its own kind. So what this means is that the church somehow from the time it was planted has transformed into something freakish and has become rooted in the world.

Now, so now we also know transformed into something freakish and has become rooted in the world. Ouch. Now, we also know that Jesus already told us what the birds represent. Now, you know, we have sort of this Disney image of the little birds in the tree, but Jesus called them of the evil one. So in the first parable, the birds represent the evil one, Satan, who snatches the word away. And this is carried over to here. So this means that evil persons and things

are now lodging in the branches of the church's presence on earth. But we call them tares. Right. It's like the parable of the tares. It fits right in with the rest of the parables. The tares look like wheat. Right.

They're indistinguishable from wheat. And Jesus said, don't pull them up. Just let them grow. In this case, you've got a bush that turns into a Frankenbush. Yeah, Frankenbush. I love that. It's a Frankenbush. It's abnormal in size and shape.

And it's not what it was intended to be. It's a Frankenbush. It's abnormal in size and shape. And it's not what it was intended to be. It's a freak of nature. And dirty birds are nesting in it. And not only are the birds resting in it, it says they're lodging in it. They've built a house. They're in there good. They're staying. And all the fruit that the mustard plant is producing is being consumed by the dirty birds in the tree.

Because any fruit, any mustard seed that it produces, the birds are right there. They're consuming anything that it produces. So from my perspective, Rick, this parable represents that Jesus is giving a warning here to his disciples that the kingdom of God here on this earth is going to grow and grow and grow. But at the same time that it's growing, Satan and his minions are also going to be residing, distorting it, mutating it,

picking off all the fruit it can. The more the mustard tree, the more the fruit of Frankenbush grows, the more it becomes the habitation of devils. That's a completely different interpretation of the parable of the mustard seed than we were taught back in Baptist Sunday school. Amen, amen.

So the kingdom of heaven is not what I call churchianity. The kingdom of heaven is the pure kingdom that Christ established on earth. Churchianity is what man has built in the name of Jesus Christ. Right. It's a religious system. It's a man-made religious system. You know, the church was under persecution for the first 400 years. And they mostly met in homes.

Right. And had agape meals, love meals. They would meet on Saturday night. And in the Middle East, the new day started at sundown. And so they would meet on Saturday night, which was actually the beginning of what we would call Sunday. They didn't say Sunday. It was the beginning of the first day. And they would have dinner. And that was the pure church that was gathering in the homes and sharing communion, breaking bread.

When Constantine came, you know, hundreds of years later, and I'm not a Constantine basher. I think he did many good things, but he was a politician. He stopped the persecution, but he also began the institutionalizing of the church. The church started to build buildings. Started to become a tree. Started to become a tree. Started to become a mustard tree. And then we have the great schism where the Western church broke off from the Eastern church. The Western church became the Roman Catholic church. And we have churchianity.

And then the reformation where the reformers broke off. Another branch, another branch. Another branch of the mustard tree. You got it, Doc. Another branch of the mustard tree. And so here we are today in the 21st century and we have this distorted thing called churchianity. And a lot of people who are not saved look at it and they

like Jesus, but they don't like that thing that's called church. And that thing, that mustard tree is keeping them from getting close to Jesus. That's the challenge in the last days. How are we going to get out of that mustard tree and get to the people and introduce Jesus Christ to them and invite them into the kingdom of heaven? Hey, we're running out of time for this lesson.
