Starting point is 00:00:00 The following program is made possible by the faithful prayers and financial support of listeners just like you. To find out how you can help, visit nothing but the truth, so help us God. I'm Rick Wiles. Well, the West has upped the ante in the showdown in Ukraine. Today, Lithuania announced it will block railroad shipments of goods to Kaliningrad, a Russian-controlled enclave in Europe. Moscow denounced the blockade and said it was preparing a response. Dr. Burkhardt and I will give you the latest information about the third world war that started in 2022. We probably need to start with a geography lesson today, don't we? Yeah, Kaliningrad.
Starting point is 00:01:06 I would say few Americans know where Kaliningrad is in Lithuania. That tiny little area right there where the arrow is at, that's Kaliningrad. It's situated between Poland and Lithuania. It's Russian territory, right? Yes. It's part of—Russia claimed it at the close of World War II. Right. But it is not—it's landlocked. It is not adjacent to Russia. Yes. And it does have Russia's only Baltic Sea port. And so it's locked
Starting point is 00:01:47 in by Poland, Lithuania, Latvia. All these countries are both EU countries and NATO countries. Yes. And Kaliningrad has nuclear weapons. There are Russian nukes in Kaliningrad. They scanned their missiles. So you have to keep that in mind. The Russians have Kaliningrad armed. So here's what happened today. We'll give you the lowdown on the latest development in World War III. We are in World War III right now, folks. This is it. We're in the Third World War.
Starting point is 00:02:25 So this is from Moscow Times. Russia threatens to retaliate as Lithuania bans rail transit to Kaliningrad. So here's the progress of what's happened today. Russia on Monday demanded the immediate lifting of Lithuania's openly hostile restrictions on the rail transit of EU-sanctioned goods to Moscow's enclave of Kaliningrad that borders Lithuania and Poland. Moscow accused the Baltic nation of banning the rail transit of goods subject to sanctions imposed by the European Union over Russia's military campaign in Ukraine. Now, Russia's foreign ministry said in a statement on Monday that it had summoned Lithuanians charged affairs in Moscow to protest the provocative and openly hostile measures. If in the near future cargo transit between Kaliningrad region and the rest
Starting point is 00:03:14 of the territory of the Russian Federation through Lithuania is not restored in full, then Russia reserves the right to take actions to protect its national interests. The ministry said. Now, according to the ministry, this transit ban violates a 2002 Russia-EU agreement. Kremlin said Lithuanians' decision was unprecedented and in violation of everything there is, and suggested that retaliatory measures would follow. The situation is more than serious and requires a very deep analysis before formulating any measures and decisions, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. Now according to the Kaliningrad governor Anton
Starting point is 00:03:55 Alenkov, the ban will affect between 40 to 50 percent of all imports to the enclave and that list includes coals excuse me coal metals construction materials and advanced technology speaking to Russian state TV on Monday Lincoln off said the situation was unpleasant but solvable and the goods could be delivered by sea these goods were not intended for trade in Europe but for supplying the region he added wedge between EU and NATO members Lithuania and Poland, the heavy militarized enclave of Kaliningrad does not share a land border with Russia. So a lot of people are
Starting point is 00:04:33 learning about Kaliningrad for the very first time today, Rick, but it may turn out to be a very important part of the story here as events over the next few days and weeks unfold? Definitely the tension has increased. The likelihood of a confrontation has increased. More bitter feelings. You know, in an old-fashioned in a bar, saloon, biker bar, at what point do the chairs start flying, the bar stools? When do they start breaking the bar stools over somebody's back or neck?
Starting point is 00:05:16 We're getting dangerously close to that point. This is going to turn into a bar fight. And you can only do this kind of stuff so much, and then somebody is going to turn into a bar fight. And you can only do this kind of stuff so much, and then somebody is going to throw the first punch. Somebody's going to pick up the first chair and slam somebody with it. This doesn't go on and on and on. I mean, Russia said, we're going to retaliate. Right.
Starting point is 00:05:41 And once again, this is a situation where the EU and NATO are violating their agreements. Russia's not violating theirs. I'm not taking up for Russia or Vladimir Putin. I'm just saying what the EU and NATO have done is they've ratcheted things up just a little bit more, violated another agreement they had with Russia. So Lithuania, their excuse is we're only doing what the EU has ordered us to do. They put
Starting point is 00:06:10 sanctions on Russia. We don't have a choice in this thing. We have to implement the sanctions. So, I mean, think about a U.S. state, let's say Hawaii. What happens to Hawaii if 50% of its goods are cut off?
Starting point is 00:06:28 Oh, it suffers greatly. You lived in Hawaii. What happens? Prices would skyrocket. No one would be able to really go to work. Gas would be $20 a gallon. But to add another layer to that, imagine if it was the Chinese setting a blockade around Hawaii. That's essentially what this is. This is a blockade, a blockade of NATO nations around Kaliningrad. That would be the very same thing.
Starting point is 00:06:55 Yeah, so it's going to have ramifications. And again, it's increasing the tension over Ukraine, and it eventually will be one of the factors that contributes to the start of actual shooting between the United States, NATO, and Russia. So we have some more information about this. TASS says Lithuania banned Moscow. Moscow is preparing a response. Now, they don't describe the response. It could be where they're cutting off energy flow to some European country. It could be a military response.
Starting point is 00:07:43 I mean, we don't know. They just said we are, you know, when you're in a war, just about anything goes. That's right. And it may not be called a war yet, but for all sake and purposes, we're in World War III now. We are in it. This is underway right now. So we've got a couple of key points from this TASS News article. So Lithuanian railways from midnight on Saturday, June 18th, stopped the transit to the Kaliningrad
Starting point is 00:08:12 region and back of a large list of goods that fell under European sanctions. So Governor Anton Alikunov said that 40 to 50 percent of the range of goods that were transported between the region and other Russian regions fell under the ban. And according to him, we're talking about building materials, metals, and important both for construction and for the production of finished products. Later, he explained that transit restrictions do not yet apply to coal, as well as gasoline and diesel fuel.
Starting point is 00:08:42 But that's until August 10 and diesel in December. Yes. Thus, the share of the range of goods prohibited for transportation will reach 50% by the end of the year. Now, Lithuania did not restrict road transport. As Tos was told in the press service of the Kaliningrad Customs, from Sunday morning to Monday morning, over 500 trucks en route to and from the Russian region
Starting point is 00:09:03 were issued at the Cheryshev-Kurskoe checkpoint. And so, as of right now, road traffic isn't suspended at all. So there is some flow of goods. It's that 40 to 50 percent that's still left. It's interesting that they will allow the transport of coal, allow the transport of diesel fuel for a limited time because Lithuania also needs coal. And so it's going to be interesting, and Germany too. Germany is just to the south and west of Kaliningrad. We're going to show you in a moment what's happening in Germany is the energy has been cut off to Germany on the reverse way. Russia has cut off energy supplies to Germany. But
Starting point is 00:09:50 that was in response to Germany seizing a Russian energy company and nationalizing it. And the Russians said, I forget the amount of money that was in the bank account in the German banks of this company. It was a massive amount of money, and the Germans just kept it. And so the Russians cut off the flow of gas to that company. They said, how can you expect us to continue sending gas to a company that used to be ours that you just stole? Right.
Starting point is 00:10:24 And stole all the money, too. So we're not going to send any more gas for you because why would they pay them? But anyhow, we have this next one is Russia delivered an ultimatum to Lithuania. So Russia reserves the right, and this is them saying this, Russia reserves the right to take actions
Starting point is 00:10:43 to protect national interests if Lithuania does not resume full cargo transit to the Kaliningrad region in the near future. That's according to the website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It said, quote, we regard the provocative measures of the Lithuanian side which violate the
Starting point is 00:11:00 international legal obligations of Lithuania, primarily the joint statement of the Russian Federation and the European Union on transit between the Kaliningrad region and the rest of the territory of the Russian Federation of 2002. They consider that violation as being openly hostile, the statement says. So once again, this is the EU and NATO countries breaking their agreements and breaking their promises.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Russia says they reserve the right to take actions to protect their national interests. What does that look like? And so that's going to be the tell over the next few days. Well, I think the next article may give you a clue. This is a Russian military exercise held in Kaliningrad after Lithuania halts transit of Russian freight trains. So just on time here, servicemen from the Baltic Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation are conducting a training exercise for missile and artillery units in the Kaliningrad Oblast,
Starting point is 00:11:58 federal subject of Russia situated on the Baltic Sea to the south of Lithuania. Oblast just simply means territory or state. So Kaliningrad is, you know, the Oblast is the whole region there we're talking about. So approximately 1,000 Russian soldiers and over 100 pieces of military and special equipment from missile and artillery units are involved in the training maneuvers. It's reported that the soldiers serving in their artillery and missile units will conduct several hundred firing exercises using Grad and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems, Janssen's large caliber self-propelled guns, and MSTAS at Katsia and Gavitsdika self-propelled artillery systems.
Starting point is 00:12:47 They don't make it easy to say the names. To sum it all up, Russians are making it very clear that they're willing to defend the Kaliningrad region if necessary. So they're not hiding this at all. They're making it very clear to the EU, to NATO, they're willing to defend Russian territory on the Baltic Sea. Yes, and that includes Crimea, which is going to be another place where you could see direct conflict erupt between NATO and Russia because the West wants to wrestle Crimea out of control of Russia.
Starting point is 00:13:34 And for Russia, that is their holy land, that is their Jerusalem, and they will never, ever give it up. So we now, Kaliningrad, suddenly. Last week, Doc, we were not talking about Kaliningrad. Today, Monday, Kaliningrad is now in the center of this war. Do you think they're trying to divert Russia's interest at this point, Rick, trying to just say you've got Ukraine in this situation over here, but guess what? We're going to stir up some
Starting point is 00:14:00 trouble for you over here in Kaliningrad now. And they did it with Finland. I knew that this thing was going to go to Finland by having Finland join NATO. So now they've stirred up trouble with Kaliningrad, with Lithuania. So they're trying to wear out Russia, spread them so thin. That's what I was going to ask. And something else. We're not paying attention to the Russians fighting in Syria. That's right. And there was an article that popped up today,
Starting point is 00:14:28 and I wish I would have brought it over, that talked about possible conflicts between Russian and U.S. forces in Syria. That's right. So the Russians are killing the ISIS commandos that the United States has armed and placed in Syria to take down the Assad government, and the Russians have resumed killing them. Now, you know, I saw last week that the Americans supposedly found some ISIS leader in Syria. Again? Oh, sorry.
Starting point is 00:15:03 My thought was they probably said, hey hey we've been looking for you we want to move you to Ukraine we've got work for you to do over Ukraine but again there's fighting going on right now a proxy war between Russia and the United States in Syria and you just see the potential for major conflict. It could erupt in any of these places. Right. In all the places at the same time. Then you really do have a world war, don't you? That's right.
Starting point is 00:15:35 Why does the United States have a military base in Syria? And if American soldiers get killed in Syria, whose fault is it? I mean, whose fault is it? I mean, whose fault is it? They don't belong there. American troops in Syria are occupiers. The Syrian government did not request the presence of American troops. But they did request the presence of Russian troops. Because the Russians said, we'll help you kill the ISIS terrorists that the U.S. and Israel and Saudi Arabia trained and armed. But the United States has a military base, at least one, maybe multiple bases in Syria and stealing their oil.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Right. Our researcher just sent me over the article from Task and Purpose, says Russia keeps having close calls with the American forces in Syria. And says CINCOM has politely said that Russian forces are being provocative. So like he said, Rick, this is another potential flashpoint for the shooting war of World War III. potential flashpoint for the shooting war of World War III. We're already in the economic war of World War III. That's already happening right now.
Starting point is 00:16:50 The shooting war, among other nations, could happen any day. Why is it that nobody in America asks the question, hey, why are there American soldiers in Syria? They don't even talk. People don't talk about it. No. News programs. What are we defending?
Starting point is 00:17:11 Are we defending democracy? That's where we get sold all the time, right? 20 years in Afghanistan? Yeah, we can't be defending democracy in Syria. No, the storyline is they're there to kill ISIS. Right. But America created ISIS. Right, and so we kill're there to kill ISIS. Right. But America created ISIS. And so we kill them all every few years.
Starting point is 00:17:29 We're not killing any of them. I know, but. The American troops are there to kill Syrian soldiers. To kill the soldiers of the Syrian army. Every time they have a battle, the propaganda in America is U.S. forces engaged isis no the syrian army engages isis and the american soldiers engage the syrian army who are trying to kill isis which are the allies of the american military establishment it's all propaganda and you've got to sort through this. It's so thick. It's difficult to keep your mind from not being polluted with the propaganda.
Starting point is 00:18:14 I hear it all day long. Anytime you turn on the news, the propaganda is there, you know, anti-Assad, anti-Putin. It's everything. It's just bombarding our minds every single day from every direction. It doesn't matter if you're watching CNN or Fox. It doesn't matter. It's the same propaganda line. Right.
Starting point is 00:18:38 And the idea here, of course, is that we're not taking sides with Russia. We're just explaining the situation as it is. You know, we're certainly not taking sides with NATO in all this because NATO seems to be provocative in all of this. The only reason Russia is in Syria is to defend their ally against the attack that Obama and Hillary Clinton launched on them around 2011. And we're still doing this attack. It's 2022. 11 years later, the United States is still in that war. Yes. But the Syrian people, their country's been destroyed.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Their churches have been burned. Homes are burned. Who knows? A million, two million refugees have left the country. Right, and ironically. Many of them Christians. And ironically, the defender of Christians in Syria is none other than Assad himself. Yes. So try to explain this to me, Mr. and Mrs. Evangelical Christians in America, why do the Christian leaders in the Christian churches of Syria pray for God's protection on President Assad? Explain that. Because he's protecting the church. The protection over the political, military protection over the church in Syria is coming from the Assad government. The danger to the church over the political, military protection over the church in Syria
Starting point is 00:20:06 is coming from the Assad government. The danger to the church in Syria is from the U.S. government and Israel. So everything's backwards. The propaganda is overwhelming. I want to get back to this with Ukraine. So the next one is two former U.S. Marines serving in Ukraine, believed captured by Russian forces. This story's been out for over a week. This is from Radio Free Europe. These two men, both from the state of Alabama,
Starting point is 00:20:36 and they are among supposedly hundreds of Americans and Western Europeans who are in Ukraine fighting with the Ukrainian Army. That's right, Rick. Two former U.S. Marines who volunteered to fight in Ukraine against Russian forces have reportedly been captured. Alexander Druke, 39, and Andy Hoon, 27, both from Alabama, were reportedly taken prisoner during a fight near Kharkiv in Ukraine's northeast. Russian media on June 17th broadcast images and video of the two men in custody. Drew Kaye and Hoon went missing last week, according to family members. Now, Dmitry Peskov was asked about this by MSNBC, and he responded to their questions by making it very clear
Starting point is 00:21:25 these men are mercenaries and their soldiers are fortunate and they don't deserve the protection that maybe a Ukrainian soldier would. Doctor, these men are not in Ukraine wearing the U.S. Armed Forces uniform. Or even the Ukrainian uniform. No, they're mercenaries. And they went there for the purpose of fighting in another country's war.
Starting point is 00:21:59 They got captured. Whose fault is it? That's a great question. It's obviously their fault. It's their fault. What are you doing over there? Keep your nose out of their business. I'm not going to sit here and cry over the fact that two people from Alabama are now captured in Ukraine. You didn't belong there. Stay in Alabama where you belong. But you stuck your nose into somebody else's fight. But the way the mass media frames it, Rick, Russia's the bad guy for capturing these guys. Oh, yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:22:35 They were there to kill Russian soldiers, and the Russian soldiers are in Ukraine to kill Nazis. And apparently from the reports and in the report here that we'll show in just a moment, they're being held in Moscow right now. They took them to Russia? Yes, that's right. So here's Dmitry Peskov responding to the interrogation by MSNBC. Russian television has broadcast interviews with two Americans captured in Ukraine,
Starting point is 00:23:03 Alex Trujillo and Andy Wen. Where are they? Who is holding them? And what happens next? Well, so they are, they're soldiers of fortune and they were involved in illegal activities on the territory of Ukraine. They were involved in firing and shelling our military personnel. They were endangering their life and they should be responsible.
Starting point is 00:23:31 They should be held responsible for those crimes that they have committed. Those crimes have to be investigated. They are being held in a due place, in a due place to ensure that the investigation of their crimes is being completed. By Russian authorities or by Donetsk authorities? By the authorities. Are they prisoners of war? Are they prisoners of war? I wouldn't start explaining the juridical side of their capture. The only thing is clear. So they have committed crimes. What are the crimes they've committed? Because obviously, as you know, under the Geneva Conventions, fighting in a conflict is not something that you can be tried for. So what
Starting point is 00:24:22 are the crimes you're talking about? they are not a ukrainian army they are not a subject to geneva convention you they are not you don't know that they are not members of the ukrainian army you're certain that they weren't enlist you believe they weren't interested in the ukrainian army it will be investigated in due course so you're trying to establish whether they were invested. Geneva Conventions cannot be applied for soldiers of foot. I didn't know Mr. Peskov spoke English so well. I don't think I've ever heard him speak English. So be careful what you say around him.
Starting point is 00:24:58 That's right. He knows what you're talking about. But they've made it clear that they consider these men that have been coming to Ukraine to fight, they consider them. Soldiers of fortune. That's right. You're mercenaries. Geneva Convention rules does not apply to you. Now, you know, I'll throw a question out at you here regarding all these mercenaries from Europe and a lot from the U.S.
Starting point is 00:25:26 Who's paying these guys? People, are they just going because they like to shoot things and blow things up? There might be a few like that, but I've seen a few videos out there of soldiers, excuse me, soldiers of fortune and these mercenaries leaving and they've got families, they've got, you know, there are people that are celebrating, yeah, I'm going to go fight in Ukraine. And there are people doing shout outs for them and everything. So who's paying these guys? That's always the big question, isn't it? If you can find out where the money comes from, there's a lot of things that goes on that if you could just get past the surface and find out who's financing somebody,
Starting point is 00:26:07 I work on that all the time, to find out who's paying them. Who's the money behind it? Because if you find the money source, then a lot of information is then available to why you have this conflict taking place. But it's a very good question. These guys just didn't pack up, quit their jobs, go to Ukraine. Equipment costs money. I mean, wine costs money.
Starting point is 00:26:36 Somebody paid them. Why would you get involved in a war and risk your life without some possibility of financial gain. There has to be something there. So where's the money coming from? Most likely dark money, covert money that moves around inside each country. We'll take a look. This next one is from CNBC. Germany plans to fire up coal plants as Russia throttles gas supplies.
Starting point is 00:27:09 Wait a minute. Coal plants? So much green energy. What happened at that summit they had last year about saving the planet from fossil fuels? Well, I guess it doesn't matter in principle when you're in the middle of getting your energy supply choked off. Germany said the deteriorating gas market situation means Europe's largest economy must limit the use of natural gas for electricity production and burn more coal for a transitional period. Economy Minister Robert Habeck on Sunday warned that the situation
Starting point is 00:27:44 is going to be really tight in winter without precautionary measures to prevent a supply shortage. He said as a result, Germany will seek to compensate for a cut in Russian gas supplies by increasing the burning of coal, the most carbon-intensive fossil fuel in terms of emissions and therefore the most important target for replacement in the transition toward renewable alternatives. That's bitter, but it's almost necessary in this situation to reduce gas consumption. We must and we will do everything we can to store as much gas as possible in summer and autumn, the Green Party's Havoc said in a statement.
Starting point is 00:28:18 According to a translation, the gas storage tanks must be full in winter. That has top priority, he added. So Mr. Havoc is a member of the Green Party. Yes. And he's now... And now endorsing coal. So they're so phony. They're so phony, all of them.
Starting point is 00:28:40 They rant and rave about climate change, and then their idiotic foreign policy creates such a disaster that they have to set aside their radical climate change agenda. Which is communism in itself. Yes, green communism. Right. So they have to set it aside in order to figure out how are we going to keep people warm this winter,
Starting point is 00:29:05 because that's really what they're worried about. The irony of the Green Party endorsing coal, it just, it's not lost on us at all. Not at all. Next one, this was over the weekend, last week, there was a, it's called the Russian Davos. Doc and I attended one of them. Yes. What year, 2018?
Starting point is 00:29:26 Is that when we were there? Called SPIF, SPIF, SPIF? St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. And so it's touted as Russia's answer to Davos. It's really, it's more of a trade show. I mean, compared to Davos, it's really a trade show. If you want to do business with Russian corporations, that's where you go. They have exhibits.
Starting point is 00:29:54 They're open for business. But your top politicians and business leaders speak at the event. And we were there. We heard Vladimir Putin speak. Emmanuel Macron was on the stage. It was quite an impressive event. So they just had this year's event. And Mr. Putin made remarks. He said his rumors of his death were greatly exaggerated. Quoting Mark Twain, yes.
Starting point is 00:30:23 He said that there is a new world order taking place right now he said that the Western elites are very worried that there's a new set of elites coming on to the stage right and that they're being pushed off so this this next story is Putin accuses U.S. of playing God and slams insane sanctions in his what they call fiery speech. That's right, Rick. Vladimir Putin accused the U.S. of playing God and brushed off the West's blitzkrieg of sanctions in a fiery speech delivered in his hometown. Speaking at an economic forum in St. Petersburg on Friday, the Russian president warned nothing will be as it used to be, as he asserted his country's strength and resilience. He said, we are strong people can cope with any
Starting point is 00:31:09 challenge, like our ancestors will solve any problem. The entire thousand-year history of our country speaks of this. Mr. Putin also commented on rumors concerning his apparently failing health, joking during Q&A, like Mark Twain once said, the rumors about my death were greatly exaggerated. The 69-year-old said the U.S. considered itself God's emissary on earth and that Russia was taking its place in a new world order whose rules would be set by strong and sovereign states. Now, if they're exceptional, then that means that everyone else is second class, he said of the U.S. They live in the past on their own, under their own delusions. Now, it goes on in this particular article to say the tyrant, that's what you call somebody
Starting point is 00:31:54 that you disagree with, the tyrant drew applause when he vowed to press on with his special military operation in Ukraine, insisting the decision to invade was forced, difficult, of course, but forced and necessary. He called the campaign in Ukraine the action of a sovereign country that has a right to defend its security and accused the West of active military appropriation in Ukrainian territory. So he's making it clear where the line stands for him and for Russia, Rick. But one thing to keep in mind about the St. Petersburg Forum, this is not just Russia meeting. These are dozens of countries that come here every year for this event.
Starting point is 00:32:40 People that want to do business with Russia. What I was reading about this year's SPF is that it was as well attended as any other year now. And so the sanctions are not impacting Russia as far as the ability to continue to do business. It's just finding new ways to do business. The sanctions really have punished the West more than they've punished Russia.
Starting point is 00:33:06 They are. And just think about this, Doc. We were talking about coal and other energy products and sources. You know, the West is, especially the United States, they're on a deliberate path to destroy the fossil fuel industry. Yes. They want to destroy gasoline-driven cars. They want to destroy diesel-driven trucks and tractors.
Starting point is 00:33:35 They want it done. They want to end it. They want you to be an electric vehicle, even though you can't afford an electric vehicle. But it doesn't matter to them. to be an electric vehicle, even though you can't afford an electric vehicle, but it does matter to them. You're going to buy one anyhow because they're going to make it impossible. If they get their way, and I've said this to my wife, Susan, the other day, I mentioned I got pickup truck fever. I've had it for months. I haven't owned a pickup truck for a long time, and I really would like to get a pickup truck again. But, Doc, how long will the gasoline engine
Starting point is 00:34:15 last in the USA right now? At the rate that they're going, at the rate that they're going, will they drive gasoline up to $25, $30 a gallon? I could see them doing that. The Democrats are quite capable of doing it. They'll put you under any amount of pain that you have to be under to get you to submit to their agenda. Right.
Starting point is 00:34:42 So I started thinking about, do I want to buy a gasoline truck right now knowing that a gasoline or diesel, that these idiots may drive up the cost of fuel to an outrageous amount? I can't even drive. I got the vehicle and I can't drive it now. What's the point of me having the vehicle?
Starting point is 00:35:02 Well, here's where I see this going. Because of the sanctions, because of the dividing of the world we're definitely dividing into at least two worlds there's going to be an east and a west as and it could it could splinter into another section. We could end up with three or four power centers in the world. But right now, let's just say east and west, the east being Russia and China, the west being the United States and Europe, and then the surrounding nations, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand. But in the east, you could have all of Asia.
Starting point is 00:35:48 I think Africa and South America will be up for grabs. But you could have nations aligning themselves with either one of the power centers. And their economies are going to be different. The West is going towards no fossil fuels, all electric vehicles, complete change to the green economy. What if the East says, go for it, go for it?
Starting point is 00:36:25 We're gonna to sell coal. We're going to sell oil. We're going to sell gas. We're going to keep making internal combustion engines. You've limited half the market out there. Wouldn't that drive the price down for the energy? So all these big summits where they've tried to bring globalism together through this green communism. Well, suddenly, if the world splits up into two parts,
Starting point is 00:36:52 they don't have that kind of control anymore. That's right. So you may have this green communism only in Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, and the rest of the world just keeps operating like we've been operating. Well, in many ways, they have been. I mean, even with the Paris Treaty here years ago, China just kept doing what it always did.
Starting point is 00:37:18 Other nations were abiding by their agreements. I think that's all fantasy. But China just kept doing what it always had done. abiding by their agreements. I think that's all fantasy. But China just kept doing what it always had done. It kept making more cars, burning more gas, burning more coal. So was China the driving force behind the green communism drive the West into bankruptcy?
Starting point is 00:37:38 I see now. That's evil Rick talking there. You got to think like a communist. How do you trick your opponent into driving himself into bankruptcy wow i hadn't considered that before but that would be a tactic that the chinese would do and it reduces the consumption of a in the West, and makes all that fuel available for the East. At a cheaper price. Right.
Starting point is 00:38:09 Wow. Brilliant idea, isn't it? It is. They don't have to abide by anything for 200 years, do they? That's right. So just think about that as where we're going. Now the next story. This is Bitcoin Magazine.
Starting point is 00:38:23 Russian Central bank says Bitcoin and crypto payments for international settlement is possible. This is the way around the sanctions. Right. So what is the West going to do if Russia begins accepting payments for its oil and gas and its other products, its wheat, its fertilizer? And what are they going to do if Russia says, we'll take cryptocurrency? I mean, would the U.S. go so far as to put sanctions on Bitcoin usage in the U.S.? Oh, that would be a horrendous, colossal mistake. Oh, I agree it would be.
Starting point is 00:39:10 Oh, people would be furious. There's a lot of rich people that have large holdings of Bitcoin. They're not going to put sanctions on it. So from this particular article here, once again going back to the St. Petersburg Forum, Elvira Nabilina, head of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, spoke at St. Petersburg where she commented on Russia's use of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for international trade per a report from state media outlet Commercent.
Starting point is 00:39:38 She said, our position is that cryptocurrency should not be used as a means of calculation within the country as for use in international settlements. If it does not penetrate the Russian financial system, it is possible, Nabutalina told reporters during the event. So they've opened the door to that possibility, Rick, where as far as transactions occurring outside of Russia, crypto is an option for them. So this would really shake the crypto market up a lot, wouldn't it? Yes. I know you follow cryptocurrency almost on a daily basis.
Starting point is 00:40:16 This is big. And then the other thing to watch is the U.S. Federal Reserve rolling out a digital coin, central bank digital coins, CBDCs. Right. And now the Federal Reserve is saying that these digital coins could save the dollar. A central bank digital currency would help boost the long-term strength of the U.S. dollar, the chair of the Federal Reserve said Friday. In his welcoming remarks at a Federal Reserve board conference in D.C., Jerome Powell said that in light of the rapid growth of stable coins and crypto assets, his organization is studying whether an American CBDC would improve on what he called an already
Starting point is 00:41:02 safe and efficient payment system. As the Fed's white paper on this topic notes, a U.S. CBDC would also potentially help maintain the dollar's international standing, Powell said. As we consider feedback from the paper, we'll be thinking not just about the current state of the world, but also how the global financial system might evolve over the next five to ten years. Doc, I think we may be surprised how far along the Federal Reserve is in developing a CBDC and that they may release it much sooner than we expect. You know, months ago, President Biden signed an executive order requiring the Treasury Department and the Federal Reserve to step up the plans to release a central bank digital dollar. And I just I think that we're closer than we expect a complete change in our money system.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Let's say they do release something like this, Rick. What happens tomorrow? I don't know. I don't know how... Would they... Would they announce an end to paper money? They want it to end. They want it to end. They want it to end.
Starting point is 00:42:28 You need to be prepared for a shocker announcement from the Federal Reserve. Because it would have to be a drastic move. And it looks like right now, the current cryptocurrency is outpacing all these central bank currencies. But the fact of the matter is central banks have the power. They've got the hammer, if you will. That's true. Because they've got the federal government to back it up.
Starting point is 00:42:52 But central banks don't belong to the government. True. They belong to the banks. Right. If we wanted to do things constitutionally, we would abolish the Federal Reserve and return our power of the currency back to the Congress and the Treasury Departments where it was supposed
Starting point is 00:43:12 to be. But that doesn't matter because they're not going to do it. These are criminals and they're in charge of our monetary system. We surrendered our constitutional responsibility back in 1913. And I don't know if the American people will ever get it back. I don't know they even comprehend what was taken from them. But these guys could easily come out
Starting point is 00:43:37 with a digital dollar, perhaps by the end of this year, and give the American people a grace period to surrender their paper money. Think about what that means. Everybody who has money hidden somewhere... Right. Anywhere in the world. Anywhere in the world.
Starting point is 00:44:02 Because there's... You have to bring it out. Right. You have a time to convert that paper money into a digital money. Because there's trillions of dollars of cash hidden all over the world by all sorts of rogue regimes and by trustworthy people, too.
Starting point is 00:44:20 But that would be the sell for them, wouldn't it? They would say, well, we'll be able to stop criminal activity with this. We'll be able to stop counterfeiting and everything. Now we'll be the only counterfeiter. I mean, we'll be the only ones to determine the value of money. And you won't need a law to let the IRS get into your bank account because they'll have your bank account because by the way, it would eliminate banks.
Starting point is 00:44:47 There is a proposal, very serious proposal, that all banks in the United States would be eliminated and that every American would have a checking and savings account. Through the Federal Reserve? Through the Federal Reserve. Yes. I remember that coming this way. What is the purpose of having banks if you have digital coins? And I mean, you're not going to deposit your digital coins. You're going to carry your invisible coins over to the bank and say, I want to deposit
Starting point is 00:45:18 these invisible coins. You don't need a bank anymore. You just need one bank, the central bank. Folks, this is really serious. Don't rule this out. This proposal is being taken very seriously in Washington to eliminate bank accounts and have every American assigned a bank account through the Federal Reserve, and they're going to sell it as a way to end corruption and black market and tax evasion and drug dealing and all this, because every digital coin will be marked.
Starting point is 00:45:53 Right. And when you exchange it with me, there will be a transaction, and that will be there forever. A hundred years from now, they'll know, Doc Burkhart gave this coin to Rick Wiles on this date 100 years ago. They can't do that now.
Starting point is 00:46:10 It'll have an infinite ledger with it, right? They can't do that now. With paper money. This system's coming. It means total control. Absolute, total control of our lives. And do not discount the possibility that they announced the formation of it this year. I'm not talking about complete rollout, but the introduction of it.
Starting point is 00:46:39 And you know what are we tied to? Vaccine passports. Put the two together. Vaccine passport, central bank digital coin. Put the two together. Absolute total control. Wow. Some other financial news.
Starting point is 00:47:01 CNBC crypto lending firm, Celsys, asks users for more time to fix issues after halting withdrawals. I'm not going to go into the whole story, but Celsius is a company that lends money on your crypto. It's like a little bank loan on the amount of crypto that you have. People were letting Celsius hold their
Starting point is 00:47:26 coins and giving them the cash. With the promise that they would always have access to their crypto. Yes, but they had to pay back the cash. Sure. Okay. But what happened was when the crypto crash started last week, there were so many withdrawals, this company almost went under. Right. last week there were so many withdrawals this company almost went under. So they are they're asking the users please
Starting point is 00:47:50 be patient with us let us try to figure out how to prevent the company from going under because that's really where they're at right now. And also at Solon too this is from CNBC, I know we're throwing some new terms at some of the folks here today. This is a crypto lending app tried to take over a whale account to stop it from collapsing. Now, a whale in crypto terms is someone that buys, what, millions of dollars of a particular currency at any given time. And in this particular account, they had to suspend trading as well.
Starting point is 00:48:31 Right. So people that have thousands of Bitcoins, thousands, they're whales. You have people who 10 years ago bought Bitcoin when it was pennies. You got people who were in their 20s, early 20s, that spent a few thousand dollars and bought Bitcoin when it was not even a penny, it was a fraction of a penny. And those guys now are in their early 30s and they're billionaires. They're billionaires based on their holdings of Bitcoin. Well, right now they've gone down some. But not completely out.
Starting point is 00:49:15 But if you're still, if you're sitting on a couple thousand Bitcoins. And you can borrow against that. You can borrow against that. But sometime that Bitcoin's coming back, and I think we're obviously in the crash, the Bitcoin crash. And I got out of it a long time ago. I saw this crash coming. I did go back in on a small way and then lost money and said, you know, this is not going right. I'm'm out i'm just
Starting point is 00:49:46 going to stay out okay and uh we're but we're now at we're now approaching the bottom and it the bottom could be for bitcoin 12 to 15 000 for bitcoin and That's probably where this is going. It got pretty close on Saturday. Oh, yeah. Down to $17,000. Dropping like a rock. So when it gets there,
Starting point is 00:50:15 it's not going to stay there very long. And that's... I'm not giving you advice. I'm talking to you, Doc. Okay, so I'm not giving you financial advice I'm talking to you, Doc. Okay. So I'm not giving you financial advice. When Bitcoin is down 80%, look, all I'm relaying is the insight and the wisdom that my son Jeremy has given me, okay?
Starting point is 00:50:36 I do whatever my son tells me in Bitcoin. In crypto. I follow his directions because he has a very keen knowledge and understanding of the crypto industry. What he's instructing me is, wait, the Bitcoin will be down 80%, Ethereum will be down 80%. Ethereum will be down 90%. And altcoins will be down 95%.
Starting point is 00:51:11 That's the time to buy. You have to have steel nerves. You have to wait until it gets at those levels. Then buy and get out I mean when I say get out no more trading no more sit and wait four years don't get back into the trading just make your make your purchase and then wait the cycle it will take four years It will hit its top four years from now, probably somewhere around 2026. It will top out.
Starting point is 00:51:50 That's when you cash out. You know, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solano. There's a big three right now. That's it. Don't mess with everything else. It's a roulette game. It's like betting on penny stocks. Yeah, it's a carnival game. Just do the big three, Bitcoin, and better still, Ethereum and Solano. And the payoff will be tremendous in four years at the next top.
Starting point is 00:52:29 But between now and the next top four years from now, don't be trading. Don't be buying this and selling that and trying to make an extra buck here and there. Just make your purchase now and sit and watch what happens. Jeremy was telling me about a, and I got to be careful,
Starting point is 00:52:50 he was telling me about a businessman that he knows who is a long-time stock investor. Right. And that man told Jeremy a few days ago that his net worth is down $100 million because of what's happened in the stock market. That's a lifetime. This man doesn't have the lifespan to rebuild it. And what Jeremy was showing me was that that man is an extremely generous man who gives away millions of dollars to churches and ministries and
Starting point is 00:53:35 organizations. And so what Jeremy was saying to me is, Dad, those churches, those ministries, they don't know of his losses yet. They don't know. They won't know until December when he typically writes multi-million dollar checks. And so there's going to be a lot of churches and ministries that have been living off of fat, big donations coming in. Right. And later this year, they're going to realize they're not coming.
Starting point is 00:54:14 Not this year, not next year, not the year after that. So what's happening right now is huge. The loss in the stock market is almost approaching 1929 in proportion of how much has been lost. People are not aware how precarious of a situation that we're in financially. So brace for the long haul. I would say two to three years. There's going to be at least two to three years of very lean times.
Starting point is 00:55:04 At least two to three years. It's going to reset attitude in a lot of people. If you're a giver, you have nothing to be afraid of. You're actually going to do well if you're a giver. You're going to go through it and you'll come out the end blessed. A lot of stuff's going to go out of business. A lot of things are going to be sold pennies on the dollar.
Starting point is 00:55:30 Industries are going to completely change over the next few years. Yes, yes. Especially the tech industry. That's the one thing to really be watching. Don't fear if you're a giver. Have absolute no fear if you're a giver. God will take care of you because he counts on you. He knows that you're a giver. Have absolute no fear if you're a giver. God will take care of you because he counts on you. He knows that you're a giver.
Starting point is 00:55:50 And you'll be living on yesterday's gifts. Right. Because when you get in the cycle of sowing and reaping. You get excited. You do. But the gifts, the receiving that you're receiving now
Starting point is 00:56:09 can be from a gift that you gave a year, two years, five years ago. God's accounting, we don't have, we don't see God's accounting books.
Starting point is 00:56:24 All we do is trust. If you give, he's going to give back. He's going to bless. And so you get into a rhythm of giving. And it's like casting bread upon the water. You just keep giving. You keep casting the bread, okay? The waves bring it back, okay?
Starting point is 00:56:44 Which way that brought back something, which one was it that you cast? You lose track after a while. You just get in that rhythm of giving. So as we're going into this financial storm, those of us who have been givers are going to be receiving throughout the storm the blessing from the blessing from the giving that we gave last year the year before five years ago if you're not a giver jump into it now become a giver okay it's priming the pump all right you got to be it's not compound interest mostly when i say prime the pump people are what is he talking about? Priming the pump.
Starting point is 00:57:27 What's priming the pump, Doc? Back in the day, we used to have our handheld pumps. Even the motor pumps you used to have to prime. You had to prime them with water. You had to get some water into the pipe and everything. That created the pressure in order to draw the water out from the well.
Starting point is 00:57:44 But you needed a little bit of water in the pump to get the big source of water out of the well. That's right. So you could pump that thing all day long and the water would come out. You just pump an air. You put just a little bit of water. And you didn't even need a lot. To get a lot to come out. Right. Just maybe a couple or two. My dad was a plumber and so I saw him do this, I don't know how many times. To get a well back up and going again, he put water in the well. It doesn't make any sense. It doesn't make sense, does it? No.
Starting point is 00:58:15 You put water in, that creates pressure, a suction in the pipe, and there's the water. It'll spit and gag a little bit, but once you hit that vein of water underneath, it's pure, fresh, cold water. And it just keeps flowing. Yes. It just keeps flowing. As long as you're pumping, it'll keep flowing.
Starting point is 00:58:35 That's right. So you need to prime the pump. If you've not been a giver, you need to prime the pump. Start giving to the kingdom of God. God doesn't need your money in heaven. He owns everything. God doesn't need your money in heaven. He owns everything. He doesn't need your money. You need his money.
Starting point is 00:58:50 That's right. You need his wealth. He doesn't need yours. He's not broke. Yeah. You need what he has, and you have to prime the pump. You have to act with faith.
Starting point is 00:59:01 That's right. That's really the key. It's not the money itself. It's not the money itself. It's not the action itself. It is the faith to believe God. God is looking for someone to take Him at His word. That's right. And He'll honor that.
Starting point is 00:59:17 He'll honor a child. He'll honor someone 98 years old. He's just looking for somebody to believe Him. That's right. Just believe me. And when you do, it's counted to us as righteousness, the Bible says. So you're giving, you're giving, no matter what it is, it's counted to you as righteousness. And it's not just money that you give. It's time. It's, you know, prayer. It's all kinds of things. You're constantly giving.
Starting point is 00:59:45 Be a giver out of your being. Just constantly give. Bless others. And, you know, there are people in your neighborhood. There are elderly people that need a meal cooked. Or the yard mowed. Yeah, or a roof fixed. Just give.
Starting point is 01:00:03 Do something. Okay? Maybe you say, well, I don't know how to fix the roof. Well, find somebody who does and pay them. Do something. Constantly give. Just constantly bless people. And God gets involved with you. He loves to see you being that kind of a person because it reminds him of himself. He's a giver right he's a cheerful giver he's a hilarious giver he loves giving and he wants to see you smiling when you're giving and he'll just keep sending more gifts to you i've done this many times over the years
Starting point is 01:00:41 miracle money if you say i don't have anything to give, okay? I believe you. If you've not been a giver, you probably don't have anything to give. But guess what? God gives seed to the sower. So there, you can't even say, I don't have any money to give because God gives seed to the sower. So what does that mean? You tell God, I want to become a giver. I don't have anything. I'm broke right now. If you give me something to give away, I will give it away. I promise you God will give it.
Starting point is 01:01:15 But keep your word. Keep your word. If you say, God, I want to give True News $500, but I don't have $500. But if you give me $500, I will send it. I'm telling you, you're going to get $500. What if he sends $1,000? You said, I want to give $500. Right.
Starting point is 01:01:38 Then you can keep the other $500. See? You already had $500. Yes. Keep your vow. That's the important thing. Keep your vow. I had a man last, I said this last year,
Starting point is 01:01:51 and I forget the amount he had pledged. He wanted to give $1,000, and he said, I heard Rick say, miracle money. God, if you give me $1,000, I'll give it to True News. And he wrote me an email and told me this. And I thought, oh, man, he don't get it. You know what he did, Doc? He prorated.
Starting point is 01:02:15 He said, Rick, I did get the $1,000. But I'm going to send it to you at $50 a month. I'm going to make payments on it. You're missing the whole idea. You're going to cheat God. I want to make payments on it. You're missing the whole idea. You're going to cheat God. You're going to rip off God. You didn't have the $1,000 before. He gave it to you. Now you're going to cheat God
Starting point is 01:02:33 and you think you're smart. All he had to do was give the $1,000. It didn't cost him a dime. Right. He didn't have the $1,000. So the main thing is that you keep your vow if you say God if you give me a thousand dollars I'll give half of it the true news all right he'll give you a thousand dollars you get the 500 and you
Starting point is 01:03:01 get to keep the 500 it's great. Because you've kept your word and he kept his word. But if you say, if you give me 500, I'll send all of it to True News, then you have to keep your word. Right. The main thing is that you keep your, it's faith and keeping your word. Have faith that he will do it. And then when he does it. Be faithful. Be faithful, yes.
Starting point is 01:03:24 Have faith and be faithful. They go hand in hand. I'm telling you, it's a wonderful way to live. God will do it. Why don't you just challenge the Lord right now? It's a greater guaranteed return than the stock market,
Starting point is 01:03:38 than cryptocurrency, than real estate, than gold. Any investment on this earth, giving is a greater investment. It is. I'm not saying don't invest in those things, but make your first investment in God.
Starting point is 01:03:52 Yes. I have heard the most outrageous stories from people who have done this and said, I'm just going to say it. God, if you give me miracle money, and sometimes people say, they don't even put an amount to it. If you give me miracle money, I'll just give all of it, whatever it is, okay? Sometimes it's $10. Sometimes it's $5,000, okay? I've seen this
Starting point is 01:04:17 happen over and over, but the stories that they tell me make me smile they're just the most wild crazy stories of where the money came from how they found it um i remember one guy he went to he went to a livestock auction and and bought some young pigs and they put them in a burlap bag. And when he got home, he took the pigs out and there was money in the burlap bag. With the pigs? With the pigs. There was like $20 bills in there. That's a great story.
Starting point is 01:04:56 He said, oh, I said miracle money. I got miracle money. They're in the burlap bag with the pigs. I've heard so many stories like this. I'm just trying to think of what had to happen for that money. The money to getap bag with the pig. I've heard so many stories like this. I'm just trying to think of what had to happen for that money. For the money to get in there with the pig. Did it come with the pig or did it come with the bag? I know.
Starting point is 01:05:11 I've heard people have said they took a walk down the road near their house and they saw a $100 bill just blowing on the edge of the road. It's a story after story after story. It is awesome. Just have faith in God and then be faithful. So there's your challenge.
Starting point is 01:05:33 Tell the Lord you want some miracle money and just you make the commitment what you're going to do with the miracle money in regards to helping True News and then keep your word. That's it for today. We'll be back here tomorrow. God bless you.
