Secretary of State Anthony Blinken went out of his way to make it clear that the U.S. had nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with a series of recent drone attacks by Ukraine into Russia. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin is warning the West that the threat of nuclear war is rising again, and it is coming from actions that are being fueled by weapons supplied by the U.S. and NATO. Mr. Putin made it clear that he is not crazy and knows exactly what nuclear weapons are for. First, to deter the madmen in the West and second, to defend the territorial sovereignty of Russia, such as in drone attacks in recent days. We'll talk about what Mr. Putin had to say as well as a fascinating story coming out of Germany today of an attempted coup. You'll want

to know more about this. Before we get into those stories and more, join me live from the Dead Sea in Jordan is True News host and founder, Rick Wiles. Good evening, Rick. Hey, Doc. Good to see you, sir. Thank you. It's a good evening here.

It's about 12.30 a.m. And I just returned back to the hotel. We're here at the Dead Sea. The King's event ended about two and a half hours ago. And it was a spectacular event. I was very honored to be there. The first news stories are out right now. I saw a news story about 30 minutes ago. and I think we have the headline to show you.

Yes, here it is. King attends launch of master plan to develop land adjacent to baptism site. So, Doc, you already know what this is about, but our audience doesn't. King Abdullah announced tonight a plan. It is a $150 million development plan at the baptismal site of Jesus Christ, Bethany beyond the Jordan. Jesus was baptized, we all know, in the Jordan River. And guess where the Jordan River is located? It's in Jordan.

On the other side of the Jordan, in the country of Israel, which used to be Jordan before the 1967 war. That's where Christian pilgrims go to visit the baptismal site and to be baptized into Jordan. However, they're not at the precise location. The exact location where Jesus was baptized is inside the nation of Jordan. Yes. We're there with me, you saw it, and it has been historically documented, I guess going back 16, 1800 years ago, early churches were built at that site because they knew that was the precise location where Jesus was baptized. And it's a protected area. So what's happening now, Doc, is Jordan is leading an effort to build a $50 million site around the historical baptismal site. And they're going to put in a, try to explain it, this is not a highly commercialized project. They want it very

low key. They want you to step back into time. Now, obviously, there are going to be paved streets, there's going to be electricity, water, and internet, but they want everything else to look like it did 2,000 years ago. So, the buildings, the structures that will be there are going to resemble what life was like in Palestine 2,000 years ago. The baptismal site is very close to where Elijah was taken up into the heavens in a chariot. And also close by is Mount Nebo, where Moses, for the first first time saw the Promised Land. And also fairly close is Machaerus, the site where John the Baptist was beheaded. So it's all right here like in a triangle. And Jordan wants to develop this into a world-class site for Christians to visit Jordan to see these biblical historical sites. And this was a big announcement here tonight. So I think you've got some quotes from that news article that came out a few minutes ago

here in Jordan. I do, Rick. And starts off with His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday, attended the launch of the master plan to develop the land adjacent to the baptism site of Jesus Christ in order to enhance the services offered to pilgrims and visitors. That's according to a royal court statement. King Abdullah, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Ahusey bin Abdullah II, viewed an exhibit showcasing the details of the Master Plan

and the designs that would be implemented in the land adjacent to the baptism site over an area of 1,374 dunams. His Majesty listened to a briefing on the master plan, which we implemented over several phases, and it's based on architectural studies that ensure respecting the spirituality of the holy site. Now, the baptism site of Jesus Christ, also known as Bethany beyond the Jordan and recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site will remain a protected zone pristine and untouched is overseen by a royal commission responsible for preserving it headed by his royal highness Prince Ghazi bin Mohammed his majesty's chief Advisor for Religious and Cultural Affairs and his personal envoy. Now, the baptism site of Jesus Christ, located nine kilometers north of the Dead Sea

on the east bank of the Jordan River, is one of the holiest sites for Christianity on earth, and efforts to preserve it and protect it are in line with the historical role of His Majesty toward holy sites under the Hashemite custodianship. Now, the Royal Highness Prince Hashim bin Abdullah II, Prince Ghazi, and Prince Mir bin Ra'ad, Chief Royal Counselor at the Royal Hashemite Court, as well as a number of royal family members, senior officials, Christian leaders, and international figures and investors attended the launch. And Rick, you were among, I think, around 500 that were at this particular event? Yes, sir.

Obviously, security was very tight, a lot of video presentations. It was a well-produced event. And, you know, we've often say that an event is a fit for a king. Well, what I experienced tonight was an event fit for a king. Well, what I experienced tonight was an event fit for a king. King Abdullah was seated two tables from me, and there was only one table between me and him, and I was able to glance over and watch him.

He is quite an impressive leader. He walks like a king. He looks like a king. And he carries himself like a king. And I found out something, Doc. Do you know what happens in a room full of people when the king stands up from the table? I think everyone stands up, don't they, Rick? Everybody stands up.

When he stands up, everybody stands up. And it was quite a sight. watching the video introduction, which was very inspiring, talking about the light of the world that came to humanity. And at the baptism in the Jordan, that the light expanded to the whole world. And I'm sitting there, Doc, in a room full of world leaders in a Muslim nation, and the king of this nation is sitting there, and I'm sitting there thinking, they're all drawn here by Jesus Christ. They're all drawn here by his baptism. This is awesome.

This is something to behold. This is a historical event to be watching and participating in. So it was a very blessed night. And I got to meet a lot of people seated at my table. The Ukrainian ambassador to Jordan was seated at our table, two seats away from me. There were several members of the parliament at our table and others. By the way, a lot of people came up to me, Doc, and said they watch you and me. They watch True News.

Incredible. That was amazing because all these people were high level VIPs and they were coming up to me saying, oh, Mr. Wallace, so glad to see you here. We watch True News. We appreciate you giving us the truth. We appreciate you taking a stand. We commend you for your courage in speaking truth. That was amazing. I didn't expect that, but obviously we have a growing audience, not only in Jordan, but other Middle Eastern countries. The one thing that the Holy Spirit did for me tonight, and I'll tell you, years ago, I heard a story, I don't know if it's historically true or whether it's one of those folk legends. I think it was about, I think the person was Andrew Carnegie. It could have been J.P. Morgan, but it was one of the super wealthy men of the 19th century.

But I think it was Carnegie. And as the story goes, if it's true, and I don't know if it's true, it could just be one of those folk legends, but I remember hearing this many, many years ago. The story goes that Carnegie was walking down Wall Street and a young businessman came up to him and presented a business idea to him and wanted Mr. Carnegie to invest in the business. And after he politely listened, he declined the offer. And of course, the young businessman was very disappointed that Andrew Carnegie was not going to invest in his business. But Mr. Carnegie said, even though I will not put money in your business,

there's something I'm going to do for you. And he put his arm around this young man and walked down Wall Street with him, with his arm around him, whispering into his ear. And after several blocks, they separated. And as the story goes, that young man was inundated with investors who saw Andrew Carnegie walking with him, whispering in his ear. Yes. And investors poured money into that man's business. Okay, so what does that have to do with tonight? So I walk into this banquet and I basically don't know anybody there. But I did recognize one very influential

Jordanian businessman who is highly respected throughout the Middle East. And I walked up to him and said hello. And we had a pleasant greeting. Well, Doc, what he did was the very same thing. He took me by my arm and led me, holding my arm, he led me throughout the banquet hall, introducing me to ambassadors and executives and political leaders.

It was absolutely amazing. I met numerous ambassadors. I sat on a chair for about 15 minutes talking with the Chinese ambassador to Jordan and met numerous officials. But this gentleman graciously escorted me around the room before the event started and personally introduced me to many of the leaders of Jordan. And one high-level official said to me, and it was an American official, and he said, Rick, if this man, if he's one of the first people you met in Jordan, you started at the top.

And so, you know, it was just God's favor of the Lord just giving me access to people that it would take me a long time to meet all those people. But the Lord did it in about 45 minutes, you know, walking, this gentleman walking me around and introducing me to everybody. So the Lord's hand was on us tonight. Well, as a mutual friend would say, one day of favor is worth a thousand days of labor. And so in the fact that he was taking you around by the arm,

he was saying to those that he was meeting, this is my friend. It's not just an acquaintance. This is my friend. This is someone I trust. You can trust him because I trust him. And so it's really amazing, Rick, what the Lord is doing and how he has fashioned together all these different relationships and all these different connections that have happened over the past several years. It's all come together this year. But once again, it started with praying four years ago.

And so being obedient in prayer and then acting on that prayer by faith and then seeing these things happen is what brought us to this point tonight. What happens going forward, Rick? Well, we continue to do what we've been doing for the past four years. We walk one day at a time and we let the Lord show us what his plan is for Jordan. You know, God loves the Jordanian people. He loves all the people of the Middle East. You know, Israel is right across the sea here. I mean, it's literally, if I walk behind this building, I can see the lights on in Israel. People love to say God loves Israel. Yes, he loves Israel.

But he also loves Jordan. And he loves Abu Dhabi. And he loves Egypt. And he loves Saudi Arabia. And he loves all the world. And we need to take the gospel into all the world. There are lost people in every country. And there are hurting people in every country and there are hurting people in every country. And what's happened in America

is that we, as Christians, we've become so bogged down and burdened with America's problems that we have forgotten the Great Commission, which is to go into all the world and make disciples of all men and women and baptize them. That's what we meant about here tonight, the baptism of Jesus Christ. We are to go into all the world and baptize men and women. And let's get back to the basics of what we're supposed to do.

We've gotten too involved in politics and world affairs. And, you know, it's important to know these things, but let's not lose sight of what the Great Commission is. The Great Commission is to proclaim the kingdom of God to the entire world. And when you do it, amazing doors open up. Amen. Well, you have a full day tomorrow there in Jordan as well with a number of appointments and special meetings.

And then you begin your journey back the next day. And so this is a very abbreviated trip this time. And so you'll be heading back here before the end of the week. So we're going to be continuing to pray for you and pray for those divine connections and divine appointments. And I'm sure God's certainly not finished with this trip

and certainly not finished with our relationship with Jordan. And so I'm going to encourage the True News audience to be praying for you, for traveling mercies, and also for continued success in the relationship-building stage of our time there in Jordan. Well, Rick. And, Doc, you know, I would guess, you know, most likely we will be organizing more tours of Jordan for the spring. Yes.

The weather, it's still very, it should not be, from what I was told, it shouldn't be this pleasant right now. I'm seated outside and it's comfortable weather. But it does get cold in Jordan. Amman gets snow in the winter. But the best time to visit Jordan is the spring and fall. And so God willing, we'll be bringing more tour groups to Jordan in the spring of 2023. Well, praise the Lord.

We'd be looking forward to that. And one thing that you're definitely learning is that love can open a lot of doors, can't it, Rick? So, well, we're going to, I think we might have an audio problem here. Okay. I'm okay. Oh, we're good now.

You're back. I hear you now. And so, well, Rick. Hey, Doc, before we jump in, before we jump into all this heavy news, I know I got hammered by a lot of people for something I said last night about the Georgia election. And I said, this was the, it may have been the night before, I don't know which night it was. Last night. And I said, was it last night?

Okay. So I said, you know, we have the situation in Georgia with the runoff, that we have two Christian men, two black Christian men running for U.S. Senate seat, and that this is a good thing, that America has changed and grown, that now a southern state that used to be a segregationist state, a slave state, now has two major political candidates that are both descendants of slaves, and this is a good thing.

Well, some people got very angry that I said that there were two Christian candidates. And because the Democrat Raphael Warnock, they didn't want me to say he was a Christian. I want to explain why I said that. Because both men publicly confess being Christians. That's why. I am not qualified, and neither are you, to say who is and who is not saved. When Jesus said said judge not, he was referring to you and I, humans do not have the authority to declare whose soul is saved and whose soul is damned to hell. We do not have that authority.

And so I avoid that at all costs. I will not go there. You'll never hear me say, well, you know, when somebody passes away, you'll never hear me say, well, that person's burning in hell? I don't know. I don't know. Only God knows. And so both candidates confess Jesus Christ. Both claim to be Christians. Mr. Warnock is pastor of a church. Herschel Walker, you know, openly confesses Christ. Now, some people said to me in emails, well, Raphael Warnock supports abortion. Yes, I'm aware of that. But Herschel Walker paid for abortions. Which one's worse? I'll let God deal with both men. Okay? That's between them and the I'll let God deal with both men, okay?

That's between them and the Lord. I'm not the one to decide if one or both are saved or lost. They say they're saved. I'm going to accept them at their word and let the Lord sort out everything on Judgment Day. That's my position. I think that's a great position to be in, Rick, because that doesn't mean that we can't call into question the actions of individuals, that we can't disagree with them about their positions on issues like abortion and LGBT rights and things like that. But it's up to the Lord himself. And the word of God says, if we confess Jesus Christ as Lord,

thou shalt be saved. So we'll leave it at that on that aspect of things. But on the other aspect of things, we can certainly hold people to a biblical standard and try our very best ourselves to live up to that standard too, right? Yes. So. That's right. All right. Well, Rick, it's time.

I'll be at 104 emails tomorrow. Yes, disagreeing with you about that statement too, so. Hold on. Hey, I'm not there to read them. We have been, and so anyway. Well, Rick, we're going to jump into news here and everything. And, of course, World War III is still going on. Vladimir Putin, once again, is warning the West about the rising threat of nuclear war. Mr. Putin said that the nuclear threat is growing again,

but the Russian Federation will not use nuclear weapons first. This is an article from Interfax, and he goes on to say in here that Russia will not be the first to use nuclear weapons as it considers them as a means of protection. And that was coming from Russian President Vladimir Putin. The threat of nuclear war, you're right, such a threat is growing. What a sin to hide, Putin said during a meeting of the Human Rights Council. Now, about the fact that Russia will not use the first under any circumstances, if it does not use the first under any circumstances, then it will not use the second either because the possibilities of using it in the event of a nuclear. Our strategy for the use of means of protection, namely as protection, we consider weapons of mass destruction, nuclear weapons,

it is all built around the so-called retaliatory strike. When we are struck, we strike back, Mr. Putin said. Now, Russia's nuclear forces are more advanced than anywhere else in the world, but Moscow has no intention of branding or brandishing, as another article says, nuclear weapons, he said. We have not gone crazy. We are aware of what nuclear weapons are. We have these tools, and they are in a more advanced and more modern form than any other nuclear country. Today, this is obvious fact, he said at a meeting with members of the president's Human Rights Council. We are not going to brandish this weapon like a razor running around the world.

But of course, we proceed from the fact that it exists, Mr. Putin said. So in this particular meeting that he had with his human rights counsel there in Russia, Rick, there's more to this story than what Interfax had as well. Basically, he's making the defense, you know, we're not going to be the first to use nuclear weapons. But hidden in that, in other statements, he's saying we aren't the first to use nuclear weapons. The U.S. used nuclear weapons first. They already have in the past. And so and they did it in defense of U.S. territory or basically U.S. servicemen at the end of World War II when the U.S. attacked Japan. But these drone attacks here

recently on Russian territory have now raised the temperature just a little bit more. And Mr. Putin's making it clear that they will defend Russian territory at all costs. It's interesting you pointed out that when he said we will not be the first, you're saying that he is referring to the U.S. using atomic weapons in World War II. Therefore, if Russia used them now, they would not be the first. Is that how you're reading this? Yes, and that seems to be what other articles are kind of interpreting what he's saying there. That if there is a war that breaks out because of nuclear weapons, we won't be the first to have used weapons. The U.S. has already done it, and they've done it in defense of their own military. And so—

But it's the case, Doc, that he's not ruling out a first strike. No. He's saying we have these. Well, we know what they're for. What they're for right now is to keep the other guy from hitting us with a nuclear missile. And he means specifically the United States there. The only thing that keeps the West from nuking Russia right now is the fact that Russia has nukes, right? Yes.

So that's why he's saying this is our first line of defense here. The one thing that keeps us from being struck with a nuclear weapon is the fact that we have nuclear weapons. And if we get attacked, we are going to strike back. He also said something like, I'm not crazy. I know exactly what I'm doing. Right, because here lately they've been calling Putin, he's a madman. He's out of his mind. His mental capacities have gone down.

No, he's making it very clear. We're not crazy. We know what we're doing. And we're going to use the tools that we have available to us to defend Russia. Because Russia now is directly under attack. We've had these series of drone strikes that have occurred over the past few days that have come within several hundred kilometers of Moscow. Now things are starting to heat up in a unique way. And as I mentioned on the God Cash yesterday, the fact that these drone attacks are happening are the very reason why Russia went into Ukraine in the first place to prevent these kinds of things from happening on Russian soil. And now they're happening. talked about this in the opening here a little bit, has gone on to say that the United States,

we didn't encourage and we certainly didn't enable Kiev to strike within Russia, Blinken is saying. The United States has not encouraged or enabled Ukraine to carry out attacks inside Russia, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said, after drone strikes targeted Russian military airfields this week. He said we had neither encouraged nor enabled the Ukrainians to strike inside of Russia. Blinken told reporters at an event with Australian ministers in Washington on Tuesday, emphasizing that the U.S. has provided equipment to Kiev for defensive purposes only. He also noted that Ukrainian civilians are coming under attack regularly by Russian forces, as is Ukrainian's energy grid as the winter is setting in. Now, Blinken was one of

several officials seeking Tuesday to distance the United States from this week's strikes, as Washington walks a fine line between supporting Ukraine with weapons and aid and avoiding being dragged into the war itself with Russia threatening consequences if that happens. Now, at a separate press conference in Washington, a State Department spokesman said President Biden said very clearly some time ago, we are not enabling Ukraine to strike beyond its borders. We are not encouraging Ukraine to strike beyond its borders. Well, Rick, those statements are a bit disingenuous, aren't they? Yeah. Hey, here's some weapons. Use them, but don't let the missiles or the ammo fly across the border.

It's like, I mean, it's like, what do you think is going to happen? It's like you have two brothers and you give one brother a hammer and say, don't hit your brother with the hammer. What's going to happen, Rick? Somebody's going to get hit with a hammer. Right right and so that's exactly what's going on uh now the u.s this is they they can't say anything else they can't say well yeah go ahead ukraine go ahead and shoot as much as you can no they have to say things like this don't they and yet at the same time we know we know that nato and the uS. are providing material support, supply support, technological support. They're bringing Ukrainian military members out of Ukraine and training them in Germany and the U.K. And we know those stories for a fact and then sending them back.

What's going to happen at some point in the future? Ukraine is going to say, you know, we want Russia into this war full time because we need NATO in this war defending Ukraine. Yes. Each month the war has gotten worse. And so what the Russians are saying today is the risk of nuclear war is rising. And they are talking specifically about these attacks inside Russia hitting the Russian military bases this week. Another thing, Doc, I read several days ago when I was flying here, and I forgot to share it with you. I was unable to verify it. It was an article in a Russian newspaper that said that there are 10,000 Polish commandos inside Ukraine wearing Ukrainian army military uniforms. Really?

And that these are Polish commandos and that they are fighting in the Ukrainian army. Now listen to this. Now again, this is a Russian news article. It could be propaganda. It could be the truth. I don't know. I'm just sharing it. The article said that Russian military analysts believe that these Polish commandos, that there are two reasons that they're there.

Number one, they are assisting Ukraine. These are special operation soldiers. So they're assisting the Ukrainian military in its attacks on Russia. But number two, listen to this, Doc. The article said Poland will have tens of thousands of soldiers on the ground in Ukraine when the war ends. Yes. And why, Rick? And they will seize western Ukraine. Yes. That plan is in the works.

We know it. They've done everything but shout it from the rooftops that they're going to be doing this. And it seems like Poland is setting itself up to be that power player as we move toward the end of the war. The war is coming to an end at some point, unless it goes nuclear here in Ukraine. There were Polish officials here tonight at the event. Oh, really? Now, last week, I think it was last week, maybe it was the week before,

we talked about Patriot missiles. They were working out some kind of deal in order to try to figure out how can we get Patriot missiles that they were there were working out some kind of deal in order to try to figure out How can we get Patriot missiles into Ukraine and they were doing certain sort of NATO swap with? Polish from Germany Right one was gonna give them to Ukraine. Well, it seems like that deal has gone really sour here We've got one article. This is from Reuters here. Poland will place German Patriot missiles

on its territory. Now, if you just read the Reuters article by itself, you wouldn't think there was any kind of issue at all. But if you go to the German news site DW, Poland to accept German missiles

after spat over location. Now, here's the story behind it here. Polish Defense Minister, Mariusz Błaszczak, said his country would accept Germany's offer to deploy a Patriot missile defense system to Poland. Now, this move comes after a brief spat between Germany and Poland after Warsaw asked to have the air defense weapons

be transferred to Ukraine instead. Now, Berlin refused the proposal and said it would act the same way as the rest of NATO, not deploying this particular system in Ukraine. Now, Germany had made the offer after an errant missile fell in a Polish village near the border with Ukraine, killing two Polish men. Now, Poland and NATO said it was likely a Ukrainian missile that misfired as Ukraine was defending itself against Russian strikes. Now, that's the first time they've said that in print, by the way. Now, it goes on to say here, after talking to Germany on Monday, I was disappointed to accept the decision to reject the support of Ukraine, Blazek wrote on Twitter.

Placing the Patriots in western Ukraine would increase the security of Poles and Ukrainians. Warsaw and Berlin would nonetheless proceed with arrangements regarding the placement of the launchers in Poland and connecting them to our command system, he said. So they couldn't work out the deal, Rick, to get the Patriot systems directly into Ukraine, but instead they've come up with this particular scenario. Your thoughts or comments on how this has shaken down? I think, remember the question, who owns the Patriots? Who's the last owner?

And if they go into Ukraine and are used against Russia, then Poland is the legal owner. And I think somebody in the West made a decision, there's too much liability here. We're not going to turn this over to the Ukrainians. At least not yet. They're not ready for the full-blown war yet. So maybe they were actually taking the advice of the deputy NATO commander that we talked about last week, I believe it was, that made such a big deal about this. If we allow the Patriot missiles to be handed off to the Ukrainians, we're in the war. There's no ifs, ands, or buts at that point.

It's NATO versus Russia at that point. That's right. It was the former Polish NATO commander, NATO operations. He's the one who said the last country to have possession will be the owner. And you've got a paper trail. And if these missiles are used against Russia, then Poland is going to be held responsible for it. Well, another front in this war is the war on Russian energy.

And we have a story out of Turkey today. This is from Herat News. Turkey seeks proof of insurance from Herat News. Turkey seeks proof of insurance from Russian oil tankers. Now, this is a further response to the oil price cap to punish the Kremlin for its war on Ukraine. But a Turkish official denied that the measure was slowing the passage of oil ships to world markets through the Bosphorus and Dardanelles Straits. Tankertracker.com said early Wednesday that Russian seaborne crude oil exports had halved, listen to that, halved in the past 48 hours. One source told AFP that Turkish officials began requesting proof of insurance from tankers passing from Russia at the start of the month.

We want to be sure about the coverage because they have started to cancel it, an official source told AFP on condition of anonymity. An unnamed Turkish official told the Anadolu State News Agency that the majority of international insurers no longer provide coverage for Russian crude. They said, God forbid, if an accident happens in the Straits, who would cover the damages that can reach billions of dollars? Who would be responsible, the Turkish official said. But the official also rejected Western media reports suggesting that Turkey, new rules have created a log jam of Russian ships in the two Straits. The official said there were no significant changes to marine traffic and that Turkey could take extra measures to prevent congestion. And so, Rick, we've talked about this now over the past several months and how the war on Russian energy now is coming to its full steam here.

So you talked about the insurance coverage on the Russian carriers and how that would restrict the flow of Russian fuel, Russian gas to different ports and everything. And now we're seeing the application of that take place here in this particular case. Yes, that's what the sanctions look like. But you know what's the irony of this, Doc, is that just days ago, the West said, we, the West, we will decree that Russia can only charge $60 or less for its oil. Right. Well, when they said that earlier this week, I guess that was Monday, oil was at $81 a barrel. I just looked and it's down to $72 right now. Right.

Demand is actually down on oil at the moment. Well, if this continues, by next week, all oil worldwide will be $60. Right. And then what's going to be— Once again, the West has shot itself in the foot. Right. So by putting a price cap on Russian oil, they basically set the price for oil globally, right? Well, partially, Doc.

Or at least pressured it down. What's happening is the economy is slowing down. The reason oil is dropping so fast is because economic activity is plummeting worldwide. And so the price of oil is

falling. You only have a high demand for oil when the economy is red hot. This is evidence that something is happening worldwide in the economies of nations that there is a sudden slowdown. Which company was it? Was it FedEx several months ago? Said that there was a global plunge in shipping. So that was, I think, around October. And now here we are in December, and we're seeing oil plunging. If the economy was in good shape and they put the sanctions on Russia, oil should have gone up because there would be less supply. But actually, they've reduced the supply by saying you can't buy Russian oil, and the price has gone down. Once again, the West is losing this battle. Rick, I just saw an article today, forgot to bring you in here because I didn't think it related to our topics,

but there's a report that freight rates from China to the West Coast year to year have dropped. Would you like to guess the percentage? No. What is it? 90%. Nine-zero percent. Freight rates have dropped 90% from China to the West Coast from one year ago today. Something is definitely happening. Yes, and that's actually probably bringing them back to normal rates because freight rates had skyrocketed in the past year because of the

so-called chain supply chain. Yeah, the supply chain mess up. And so the supply chain mess up. And so the shipping rates were just astronomical. But the fact that they're plunging right now, that means the demand for goods is plummeting. And that's happening globally. That's not just an isolated event. So we're likely to see further OPEC production cuts now moving forward, too,

which will further restrict the global economy as well. So, Rick, Time magazine has announced its man of the year, person of the year. They don't say man of the year anymore. They say person of the year. And it's none other than Ukrainian Presidentian president vladimir zelensky and they've kind of combined the two vladimir zelensky and the spirit of ukraine as the person of the year and so time magazine of, does this every year, and they've done it, I guess, since the beginning of publications. And so your response on Mr. Zielinski as man of the year or person of the year, Rick? Well, hey, congratulations to him.

He's got his face on Time Magazine, which isn't even a magazine anymore. That's true. It's mostly digital. It doesn't exist. It's not a magazine anymore. Can you buy a Time magazine? When's the last time you held a Time magazine in your hands? I can't.

That's how I'm at a magazine. Honestly, where does Time Magazine exist? As far as for me, it exists online. That's the only place I know to access it. When's the last time you read Time Magazine online? I don't even know if I've actually read Time Magazine other than the articles that we accumulate for the Godcast. I don't even know if we ever pull up articles from Time.

The only time I hear about Time Magazine is when they choose their person of the year. Yeah, that's really it, isn't it? Yeah, that's the only thing that they're remembered for. And so at the end of the year, people go, oh, Time magazine shows Zelensky is man of the year or person of the year or transgender of the year, whatever. And then nobody ever stops to think there isn't any Time magazine anymore. It doesn't exist. That's like saying, hey, I was on the front cover of Life magazine. Well, where's Life magazine? Well, Time has a history of choosing controversial people to be

man of the year or person of the year. Yeah, there you go. That's 1939. Right. So on the January 2nd, 1939 edition of Time Magazine, they named Adolf Hitler Man of the Year. Now, there's an article about that particular cover. That's not the cover itself. But on that particular cover. They had something in common with Kanye West. They both like Hitler. Well, hey, Time Magazine would... Would Time Magazine be

deplatformed? I mean, think about it. Time Magazine chose Adolf Hitler. They were Hitler lovers. Well, they were certainly loving the publication of Hitler. They would defend themselves saying, Rick, well, Adolf Hitler impacted the news cycle so much in 1938 that he would be declared man of the year, much like Vladimir Zelensky. But what about Jeffrey Dahmer? Well, you've got a point there. OK, Jeffrey Dahmer dominated the news. Would you make him man of the year? And, you know, both Vladimir Zelensky and Adolf Hitler do have something else in common, too. They both had Nazis in their countries. Yes, and Charles Manson. What about Charles Manson?

Would you make him time man of the year? Well, and he has a swastika on his arm. Charles Manson does. Well, there you go. They all like those Nazi swastikas. But that's happening today, a news item that I don't know if a lot of people caught. Rick, a story that caught my attention earlier today, a really fascinating story coming out of Germany.

And I wanted to share this with our audience a little bit. Jeremy has arrested 25 people accused of plotting a coup. Now, this might just seem like a German story, but they actually make some connections to groups here in the U.S. A group of far right and ex-military figures are said to have prepared for a day X to storm the Reichstag. Rick, had you heard anything about this earlier today? Not until you told me about it and then I looked it up.

Is this their version of January 6th? Well, in some ways, yes. 25 people have been arrested in raids across Germany on suspicion of plotting to overthrow the government. Now, these group of far-right and ex-military figures are said to have prepared for Day X to storm the Reichstag Parliament Building and seize power. A man named as Heinrich XIII

from an old aristocratic family is alleged to have been central to their plans. According to federal prosecutors, he is one of two alleged ringleaders among those arrested across 11 German states. Now, the plotters are said to include members of the extremist Reichsberger, or Citizens of the Reich Movement, which has long been in the sights of German police over violent attacks. In other words, they were on the police radar, Rick, in racist and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. They also refused to recognize the modern German state. I'll pause here for just a moment, Rick. They want to see a return to the second Reich, not the Third Reich, but the Second Reich

under Bismarck. And so now it goes on in this particular article to tell us that other suspects came, now listen to this, Rick, from the QAnon movement who believe their country is in the hands of a mythical deep state involving secret powers pulling the political strings. Now, Interior Minister Nancy Faeser assured Germans that authorities would respond with the full force of the law against the enemies of democracy. Sound familiar, Rick? Now, the Reichsberger Group isn't new.

They predate the pandemic pandemic but this audacious plot indicates increased commitment and radicalization which could go hand in hand with the growth of pandemic disinformation online and so now you see rick they're making that connection against those vaccine deniers if you will will, from their parlance. Now, the plot to kidnap the German health minister, masterminded by a gang linked to these people back in April, is the first indication this has strong ties with COVID-19 conspiracy movements. Telegram groups related to citizens of the Reich show an interest in conspiracy theories suggesting COVID-19 and vaccines are part of sinister plots to control populations. There's disinformation about the war in Ukraine and post two about QAnon and the sprawling U.S. conspiracy theory that has links to the riots at Capitol Hill on January 6th.

Now, Rick, this is where they tie it all together right here. They've made the connection with the citizens of the Reich to QAnon and to vaccine deniers, their words, not mine. And now the January 6th, those involved in January 6th. It's a global movement, Rick. It's not just related to Germany. But you see the connections that they've made here. The globalists are afraid. Yes. They're very afraid.

They know that they're running out of time. People are not buying the narrative any longer. And people are asking questions and people are connecting the dots. And the truth is coming out about the fake vaccines and the war in Ukraine is not going according to the plan. And they're running out of time. And they're very afraid that they're going to lose power. And they will lose power. The Twitter files are coming out showing the collusion. You want to talk about conspiracies, just look at what the super elite in America were doing to suppress freedom of speech, conspiring to violate my freedom to speech, violating the rights of others throughout America, including the former president of the

United States. They conspired. That is a real conspiracy. They conspired. The Democratic National Committee, the news media, Twitter, the Biden administration conspired to deny the constitutional rights to American citizens to express their views. That is a real conspiracy. And in a court of law, you can get a conviction on conspiring to commit a crime. That's right. And now they're beginning to make these connections with, it's a global conspiracy now, Rick. That's because people all over the world are waking up to what they're doing that's why now there is one other twist to this uh story here that wall street journal had earlier they were saying in their particular article their case on this

is that this movement the citizens of the Reich, had been in contact with the Russians and had been talking with the Russians about setting up an alternative government whenever the German government was taken down. And so now they've tied Russia in with this as well. So the Russians are tied to the citizens of the Reich in Germany, to the January 6th folks in the U.S., to QAnon. And it's a massive conspiracy now, right? Yeah, right. Now, Dimitri. I don't know much about this believe that the government that exists in Germany is not a legitimate government.

It was imposed on the German people by the United States at the end of World War II. And the United States has military bases and nuclear weapons in Germany. And quite frankly, we're still occupying Germany. Yes, we are. I mean, we really are. Germany is not an independent nation. And it's interesting that you say that, Rick, because Dimitri Minvedev brought that out in a post on Telegram. And he asked the question, have you heard? Now, this is his take on it. He always says things with tongue in cheek, but always serious. He said, have you heard? In Germany, the type of right-wing conspirators decide to carry out a coup. Well, what can I say? Germans clearly have a shortage of blood sausage, everywhere only

liverwurst, and this is a good reason to add living blood to the liverwurst of the current chancellor. Mr. Schultz clearly benefits from such a reversal. He is both a cook and a participant in the meal, or an ingredient in the meal. Naturally, they hint at a connection with the Russians. How could it be otherwise? All the evil conspiracies, world wars, devastating earthquakes and deadly epidemics are from the Russians. We're proud, although we have not succeeded so far. We'll continue to try the strength of Nebuchadnezzar.

What if Germany, if it becomes a monarchy again and it goes on to say in his telegram post seriously this is a clear sign of hereditary disease of the entire management model in germany after all these half-baked conspirators are right germany does not have full sovereignty over its land decisions on german energy industry and defense are made by the deep American state, not by liverwurst or even Washington elders and fragmented dementia. He said, although this is pure provocation and conspiracy, so stock up on the popcorn, the thriller would be more interesting than the notorious German series Dark.

And so he makes that case out as well there, Rick. Germany is really not Germany right now. Germany is occupied Germany and has been since World War II. And that's why these individuals in the Citizens of the Reich movement, part of their doctrine, I was reading up on them today, is they were looking at restoring Germany to the type of government it had back when Bismarck was around. We're talking about the late 1800s, early 1900s, before the descent right before World War I. And so they were looking at a restoration of true Germany. And, you know, it's sort of like tapping into that same

ethos here in the U.S. of make America great again. In other words, they're saying, let's make Germany great again. But let's go back to, you know, the times of Bismarck and Willem. And so in those days- They'll have to get Germany out of the European Union. To do that. You're right. But as you said, Rick, and as Dimitri Medvedev pointed out, it is definitely a case that Germany is occupied right now. By the way, Mr. Medvedev said yesterday that he personally writes all of his telegram posts.

Oh, really? He doesn't turn it over to writers. He said he manages his telegram channel. He writes all of his own material, in other words. Yes, yes, he does. You two have that in common. Well, Rick, you called a story earlier this afternoon, and I'd like to get some of your insight on it. This is coming out of Bloomberg, and Peru's president accused of coup after moving to dissolve Congress. Why did this catch your attention, Rick?

Well, because you sent me the article about a so-called attempted coup in Germany. And so when I began searching for more information, this popped up. I said, wow, this is a day for coups so in this particular article Rick it says that Peru president Pedro Casilla announced the dissolution of Congress and called for legislative elections to draft a new constitution hours before an impeachment debate escalating a political crisis and putting the Latin American nation's democracy under threat, members of the Constitutional Court described the move as a coup. So it's a day for coups here.

We took the decision of establishing a government of exception toward reestablishing the rule of law and democracy, Mr. Casillo said in a televised speech today, adding that the incoming Congress will draft a new constitution within nine months. From today until the new Congress is established, we will govern through decrees. In other words, it's going to be just a dictatorship, really, moving forward. Castillo also announced a curfew and the reorganization of Peru's justice system, including the top courts. At the same time, he pledged to respect private property and business freedom. He also said all illegal arms and possessions of Peruvians must be handed back to the police within 72 hours. I thought that was an interesting line there at the end. If you're telling people, hey, hand in your illegal weapons, what shouldn't you do? Don't hand in your illegal weapons. Better hang on to those.

And so. Yeah. When a politician says we're suspending the constitution, I'm going to rule by decree. And by the way, turn in your guns, then you know something is not right in your country that day. Yes, that's right. So it hasn't gone over well. The police have warned him. They've issued a stern warning to the president to back down. Rick, you came up with an article today. It's a story. Actually, I'd seen it, I think, yesterday or the day before yesterday. And the number that I saw in this particular article shocked me when I first saw it a couple days ago. This is from Bloomberg. This is number 51 for control.

Huge missing and growing. $65 trillion in debt, dollar debt, sparks concern. This particular report calls FX swaps a blind spot in global finance. And I'll give you an idea of how big a number $65 trillion is. The total gross domestic product of the entire earth for one year is only $125 trillion. So that's more than half of the total GDP of planet Earth. Who do we owe this debt to, Rick? Well, that's what the article is about. And it's not just the United States.

There's other nations involved in this. It's some bookkeeping, accounting, sleight of hand techniques that's making trillions of dollars just disappear. That's right. So this particular article says there's a hidden risk to the global financial system embedded in the $65 trillion of dollar debt being held by non-U.S. institutions via currency derivatives, and that's according to the Bank for International Settlements. Now, in a paper with the title, Huge Missing and Growing, the BIS said a lack of information is making it harder for policymakers to anticipate the next financial crisis. And in particular, they raise concern with the fact that the debt is going unrecorded

on balance sheets because of accounting conventions on how to track derivative positions. Now, the findings based on data from a survey of global currency markets earlier this year offer rare insight into the scale of what's called hidden leverage. Now, what happens is foreign exchange swaps were a flashpoint during the global financial crisis of 2008 and pandemic of 2020 when dollar funding stress forced central banks to step in and help struggling borrowers. Now, to understand how the system works, consider a Dutch pension fund buying assets in the U.S. Now, as part of that transaction, it would often use a foreign currency swap or an FX swap to exchange euros for dollars. Then when it's closed out, the fund will repay dollars

and receive euros. So during the length of the trade, the payment obligation is recorded off balance sheet, which the BIS calls a blind spot in the financial system. Now for researchers at the BIS, it's the sheer scale of the swaps that's worrying. They estimate that banks headquartered outside of the United States carry about $39 trillion of this debt. That's more than double their on-balance sheet obligations. And listen to this, 10 times their capital. Now, accounting conventions only require derivatives to be booked on a net basis, so the full extent of the cash involved isn't recorded on a balance sheet.

So there is a staggering volume of off-balance sheet dollar debt that is partly hidden, and FX risk settlement remains stubbornly high, said Borio, head of the Monetary and Economic Department at BIS. There is a staggering volume of off-balance sheet dollar debt, and that is partly hidden. The FX risk settlement remains stubbornly high. And so, Rick, we've touched on this particular issue in the past. I was shocked at the sheer volume of the number when I saw it this week.

You know, you expect there to be some, you know, FX swaps, maybe in the trillions, certainly not 65 trillion, half the gross domestic product of planet Earth. Doc, I've been talking about derivatives since 1998 because the Holy Spirit told me in 1998, keep your eyes on the derivatives. When they implode, it's over a quadrillion. Yes, that's right. Over one quadrillion. So we're just talking about one little slither of derivatives that are missing off the balance sheets of banks, totaling $69 trillion. It doesn't take a lot to set off a domino effect in the world economic system because we're so interconnected as the world. Our banking systems, our financial systems are interconnected.

And one banking system collapsing could bring down all of the banking systems of the world like dominoes. And I am convinced it will be derivatives. That's going to be, that's the ticking time bomb that is going to destroy the global financial system at some point. And they'll have to rebuild. They'll have to introduce a new financial system. That's the one we should be watching out for. That's right.

Derivatives are basically bets on where currency values are going to be moving in the future. And then there are extended derivatives where people bet on the derivatives themselves. So it's like Las Vegas gone wild when it comes to betting on some of these different things that are going on. It's something we very, you know, we're called to be wise in our finances and everything, but when people start hearing words like derivatives and extended derivatives and things like that, suddenly it seems so far above their heads that they can't get a grasp on it. Is there a simple way that just ordinary folks

can understand what's happening with derivatives that doesn't sound like speaking in tongues to them without an interpreter? No, I can't get my head around it either, Doug. And it's like, what is it, 1.30 a.m.? And so all the brain cells aren't working right now. I'm having trouble saying things that sound intelligent right now. Well, then in that case, Rick, we better let you go.

You've got a big day ahead of you tomorrow. We need you to have full brain cells tomorrow. I have to make my phone has been pinging the entire hour we've been sitting here. And they think you're they think you're up and around, Rick. And so they do. People think, yeah, and people can't. And these are some important calls that I have to return. So I'll probably be up for another hour. I got to call my wife and talk to her and deal with some issues. But, hey, let's do one more because there's one more really crazy story. That's the one with Twitter.

Yes. So there's something going on at Twitter again today. And if you've caught the story, let's do a number 62 for control here. Now, this tweet went out yesterday afternoon while we were doing the God cast. And it was Elon Musk. And in light of concern about Baker's possible role in suppression of information important to the public dialogue, he was exited from Twitter today. Now, this revelation came out as a result of a couple of journalists that started digging into some of the Twitter files that we've been talking about earlier this week. This from the New York Post here.

Elon Musk fires Twitter lawyer James Baker over suppression of documents on the Hunter Biden story. Now, does that if that name James Baker is ringing bells in your mind right now is because we've heard this name in the past. Now, Elon Musk, that's right. Elon Musk has fired Twitter's deputy general counsel. In other words, he was their second in command lawyer, James Baker, over his alleged suppression of internal his firing about the events surrounding the laptop suppression scandal and that the lawyer's explanation was unconvincing. Now, Baker, listen to this, a former top FBI lawyer was discovered to be secretly vetting the internal Twitter documents before they could be reviewed by journalists, leading to a delay in the release of more material related to the company's censorship scandal. So basically, Baker was previously general counsel for the FBI under former director James Comey

and a key figure in the Bureau's investigation into false claims of collusion between Russia and Donald Trump's 2016 campaign. During his time at the FBI, Baker worked with fiercely anti-Trump FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. And after leaving the Bureau in 2018, Baker reportedly found himself under criminal investigation for allegedly leaking materials to reporters. Baker has stood by his conduct while at the FBI and with regard to the Russian probe. Now, on Friday, the first installment of the Twitter fires was published here. We expected to publish more over the weekend. Many wondered why there was a delay. And that was from independent journalist matt to be

tweeted on tuesday now we can tell you part of the reason why on tuesday twitter deputy general counsel jim baker was fired among the reasons he was vetting the first batch of twitter files without knowledge of new management so he made a big mistake there. The process for producing the Twitter files involved delivering it to journalists, Barry Weiss and to Mr. Tobey, via a lawyer close to new management. However, after the initial batch,

things became complicated. He added that Weiss discovered that the person in charge of releasing the files was someone named Jim. When she called to ask Jim's last name, the answer came back, Jim Baker. To be added in a tweet, my jaw hit the floor, says Weiss. Now, the reason why his jaw hit the floor is because Mr. Baker has been intimately involved in democrat politics and with the fbi going back decades not not just recently and he rick there's no other way to describe it uh jim baker was embedded in twitter on behalf of the democrats and the FBI. There's no other way to put it. Yep.

That's it. So last Friday, Elon Musk tweeted that he was going to release the Twitter files on deplatforming people. And so there's a lot of anticipation. And then just a small amount came out over the weekend. And then some people started saying, man, this is a big nothing burger. There's not

much to it. Well, now we know why. On the surface, it didn't seem to be anything suspicious that Twitter's deputy counsel, their second highest lawyer, wanted to review the files that were being released. Well, that doesn't sound amiss. That's normal in a big corporation. What is shocking is there are two things. Mr. Baker did it without informing Elon Musk. The new owner had ordered the files to be released. And you have Mr. Baker, the lawyer, the counsel for Twitter Corporation, not obeying the new owner's command, saying, I have to go through them first.

But the second thing that is shocking is that Mr. Baker worked for the FBI. That's right. And that he was deeply involved in the Russiagate fake investigation. His fingerprints are all over a lot of FBI scandals. And so what it says, Doc, is the FBI had Mr. Baker embedded inside Twitter. The FBI is America's KGB. They are everywhere You're everywhere. And if you're in a large corporation, most likely there is an embedded FBI agent working inside your corporation. There's no doubt in my mind that the major news organizations have embedded federal agents working inside their editorial offices, their newsrooms, whether it's the FBI or military intelligence or CIA or whatever. There are government agents inside news media organizations to control the flow of news, to spin the news,

to monitor what information is being brought into the news organizations. So Mr. Baker is an FBI asset inside Twitter. And Mr. Musk has now discovered that he had an FBI agent working for him who was preventing Mr. Musk from releasing the Twitter files. Right, and he seems to be— Why are we not surprised? Why are we not shocked by this revelation?

Right, and this particular James Baker seems to have been connected with every scandal going on in Washington, D.C., one way or another, going back all the way to at least 2012 and probably even beyond that. He was involved in Russiagate and, you know, connected with Peter Strzok, Lisa Page. And he was one of those individuals that was leaking information to reporters back during the 2016 election cycle. And he actually got investigated, unlike James Comey, who admitted to doing the very same thing and never was investigated for it. And so it's interesting how this has all transpired here. Does it encourage you, Rick, to know that Elon Musk does seem to be cleaning house at Twitter to provide, or at least to have access to this information, maybe finally completely? Yes, it is encouraging. I never expected Elon Musk to become the champion of free speech in America and to take on the deep state.

Now I wish he would end his program to plant electrodes in the brains of humans. Right. And I wish he'd quit wearing Satan suits at parties. That would be something that would be encouraging to me, too. So, well, Rick, I know it's getting late for you here. We're going to let you go so we can get some rest. You've got many appointments tomorrow and please know that we're going to be praying for you and praying for the Lord to continue to open these amazing doors. I, I, I don't know where it comes from other than it's just, um, supernatural and, and I keep going and I, I'm able to outwork guys half my age.

But we want to pray first, ask the Lord to touch

the wiles. Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name, ask you to be with Rick now and give him a restful night's sleep, Lord, helping him be fully restored and fully refreshed for tomorrow. Lord, we pray for continued divine appointments and divine connections in Jordan and ask you to bless him and let him be led by the Holy Spirit in all activities. We continue to pray for Ms. Susan right now. Ask you to touch her. Your word says, Lord, that by your stripes, we are healed. Not we're going to be healed, but we are healed. It's already been done. It was done by the stripes on your back, Lord. And so Lord, we pray for healing for Ms. Susan, full restoration of her body. Lord, I ask you bring her joy in her heart right now. The joy

of the Lord is our strength. And so Lord, I ask you to increase her joy and Lord, that it would help restore her health. Lord, bless our audience, Lord. We love them so very much. Bless our faithful supporters and prayer partners, Lord. Return to them 10, 30, 100-fold, Lord, what they've been given to us. Lord, thank you for it. In Jesus' name we pray, amen and amen.

Of worlds we've never seen before, worlds where time stands still, and others that against time still stand, attesting to a glorious past, kindling a vigorous present.
