Well a strange thing happened early Saturday morning. The United States
Supreme Court convened an emergency session at midnight to order President
Donald Trump not to deport illegal immigrants under the authority of the
Alien Enemies Act. I've got some questions about
this meeting. This is true news for Monday, April 21st, 2025. Let's begin our analysis
and commentary of today's headlines by looking at this article published by the American
Conservative Supreme Court Iss midnight order. Yeah, mind you, this is resurrection weekend too, okay, a holiday weekend as well, and so it's very, very strange here, Rick, isn't it?
It is. American conservatives said the Supreme Court issued a one-paragraph order early Saturday morning
requiring the government to halt deportations being carried out under the Alien Enemies
Act until a lawsuit concerning the application of that law is decided by the Fifth Circuit.
The one-sentence statement said, the government is directed not to remove any member of the putative class of detainees from the United States until further order
of this court.
Doc, my question is, who has the power to order the Supreme Court justices to get out
of bed and go into downtown Washington, D.C. on Easter weekend and convene a session of the Supreme Court?
That's a great question, Rick, especially since this is sitting down in the Fifth Circuit right now.
Why not let the process go on?
But no, the Supreme Court, somebody encourages the Supreme Court to convene and carry out this order.
I think it's more than encourage.
You just don't get that kind of reaction
with an encouragement.
To me, there was an order.
Somebody placed a phone call to Chief Justice John Roberts
and said, you will convene the court now.
Now I could understand
if there was some sort of constitutional crisis or some sort of emergency thing
that hadn't happened. What emergency was there? What was going on that
required the assemblage of the Supreme Court to make a decision at midnight on
resurrection weekend? Somebody who had
weekend. Somebody who had had compromising information about John Roberts and could place that phone call that's that's what it was. Look these guys don't jump
because somebody wants a decision made unless that somebody has the power to
hurt you.
Do you remember when John Roberts was black and blue, when he was found in the weeds in the bushes?
Yes, and he's had another accident since then too.
And so, is that what's happening here?
Well, something definitely caused the Supreme Court
to get together at midnight on Saturday night.
Listen, these aren't youngsters either.
No, and this is Easter weekend.
Right.
I just, Doc, it's just, I mean, John Roberts, Chief Justice didn't say to somebody,
excuse me, I'm in my pajamas, I'm in bed. What's the emergency?
Why do we have to get out of bed and go down to the Supreme Court?
Did John Roberts do this on his own?
Was he drinking?
What's that?
I mean, what was this guy doing?
To order President Trump not to deport any more illegal immigrants under the Alien Enemies Act.
What is the aliens?
Not space aliens, they're illegal aliens inside the country.
There's more to this story than we know.
Now, one judge that has publicly denounced it is Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito. And here is
the hill.com Alito blasts late-night ruling on deportation flights as he
called it legally questionable. Right. A Supreme Court judge said I'm not sure
what we just did is legal. Yes, so Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito
pictured there on the screen,
faulted his colleagues for temporarily halting deportation flights
under the Alien Enemies Act, literally in the middle of the night. And it was
the middle of the night. Judge Alito's dissent, also sent out at nearly
midnight Saturday, came after the court agreed in the
early hours of the morning to block for now
any additional flights that would transport migrants to Salvadoran prison.
It says in the article from the Hill, the court issued unprecedented and
legally questionable relief without giving the lower courts a chance to rule,
the case I was making earlier, without hearing from the opposing party within eight hours of receiving the application.
With due, listen to that, within eight hours of receiving the application with dubious..." Now listen that, Rick, within eight hours of receiving the application. I missed
that before. "...with dubious factual support for its order and without providing any
explanation for its order," he wrote. I refused to join the court's order because
we had no good reason to think that under the circumstances. Issuing an order
at midnight was necessary or appropriate.
So there he gives the timeline. Something happened eight hours earlier.
He wasn't happy that he had to get out of his pajamas and get dressed and drive into DC.
He knew something, something corrupt was taking place.

Yeah, well yeah, so 90 days was, actually 90, it's 90 days, because remember the executive order
that he signed came due on Sunday?
And what was that executive order for the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of
Homeland Security to recommend by Sunday, Easter Sunday, whether he should declare martial law or invoke the Insurrection Act
to deal with the illegal aliens in the country.
Well, that can't be a coincidence then, Rick, for the Supreme Court to make that ruling at midnight prior to the day where the decision on what
happens with the illegal immigrants.
Alright, and now listen, so who was going to make that recommendation on Sunday?
Pete Hagseth and Kristi Noem.
We're going to get into a minute here with Pete Hagseth because he's in trouble again.
And there's rumors floating here in the past several hours he's on his way out.
I'm not sure if that's true.
But something else happened, Kristi Noem.
Yes.
Now this is an interesting story when you pair it with what we've already talked about
here.
Look at that headline there.
This is from CNN. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's bag, including $3,000 in cash,
is stolen from a D.C. restaurant. Now, the Department of Homeland Security Secretary
Kristi Noem fell victim to a thief while eating dinner at a downtown Washington, D.C. restaurant
Sunday night. And when asked about the theft at the White House
Easter egg roll which was yesterday, Ms. Noem acknowledged the incident but said
the matter had not been resolved. Now got a couple quotes from the article here
and we'll talk about this. The Secret Service which provides security for Noem
reviewed security camera footage and saw an unknown white male wearing a medical
mask steal her bag and leave the restaurant a law enforcement source said.
It says in that article the thief stole Noam's driver's license, medication,
apartment keys, passport, DHS access badge, makeup bag, blank checks and about
three thousand in cash. Now she had Secret Service Protection, Rick.
Where were they? Where were they? Rick, in light of our previous story here, were
they trying to send Kristi Noma a message that we can get to you anywhere?
Yes, that's exactly where I'm going with this. Yes, look, look Christy, we walked right up to your seat
in the restaurant and took your purse. In front of the Secret Service. In front, and
they did nothing. They either saw nothing or did nothing. Which one was it? Or participated in it.
Or participated in it. Provided the mask. I don't trust any of them. I don't trust any of them
We live in a very dangerous time
Pete Hagseth is in trouble
We're gonna get to that here in a moment there, you know, they've got him involved in another
Signal message scandal. But Doc, I put this together in my mind standing here in the last couple minutes. You and I
have seen these stories for hours. I just put this together in the past two minutes.
They're sending signals to Kristi Noem and Hickseth.
Yes.
And there's no word of what they recommended to Donald Trump.
Right, or if they did.
Even if they did.
We don't know.
But yesterday was supposed to be the deadline for it. And is the Supreme Court trying to stop Donald Trump or are they trying to provoke him?
Because they're boxing him into a corner if the Supreme Court
Doc if the Supreme Court rules that the President of the United States cannot deport illegal
immigrant criminals.
Then why do we have a president?
Precisely.
Why not just let the Supreme Court rule the land?
Well, isn't that who's running the judges, the federal judges?
So then what other options does Donald Trump have?
Martial law. That's where we're going. I have been leaning in this direction
since November that they will force him to declare martial law. And they got to
get Pete Hagseth out of the Pentagon because he's a he's a
defense secretary that would sign off on martial law right and he's and you've
got Kristi Noem who would as well who goes along with it with Homeland
Security but understand ladies and gentlemen that this is where they're
forcing Donald Trump to go and they're like Rick said they're
Boxing in they're painting lines around him and daring him to cross those lines at this point

Room, but let's jump down to number nine
This is New York Times
9 is New York Times. Hegseth said to have shared attack details
in second signal chat.
Right, so this is broken over the weekend now.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared detailed information
about forthcoming strikes in Yemen back on March 15
in a private signal group chat that
included his wife, brother, and personal lawyer,
according to four people
with knowledge of the chat.
Some of those people said that the information Mr. Hegsa
shared on that signal chat included flight schedules
for the F-A-18 Hornets targeting the Houthis in Yemen,
essentially the same attack plans
that he shared on a separate signal Chat the same day that mistakenly
included the editor of the Atlantic.
Now, according to the New York Times, Mr. Hegsit's wife Jennifer, a former Fox News
producer, is not a Defense Department employee, but she has traveled with him overseas and
has been criticized for accompanying him to sensitive meetings with foreign leaders.
Mr. Hegsit's brother, Phil, and Tim Parlator,
who contains the service as personal lawyer, both have jobs in the Pentagon. Still, it
is not clear whether either would need to know about upcoming military strikes aimed
at the Houthis in Yemen. Unlike the chat in which the Atlantic was quote, mistakenly included,
the newly revealed one was created by Mr. Hagseth
himself and it included his wife and about a dozen other people from his
personal and professional inner circle in January before his confirmation as
defense secretary. It was named defense team huddle. The people familiar with the
chat said he used his private phone rather than his government one to access
that particular signal chat. Now the continued inclusion of his wife, brother, and
personal lawyer following Mr. Hegs's confirmation, none of whom had any
apparent reason to be briefed on operational details of a military
operation as it was going underway, he is sure to raise further questions about his adherence to security protocols.
And NPR today is reporting that there's buzz that Hegseth is about to be replaced.
But that's coming from NPR.
And there's no meat in the story.
It's just a headline basically without anything to back it up.
Now, Carolyn Levitt, press secretary, went on Fox News this morning to defend Pete Hegseth,
and she made a comment that the entire Pentagon is out to get Pete Hegseth.
Yes.
Let's watch. The president stands strongly behind Secretary Hegseth, who is doing a phenomenal job leading
the Pentagon.
And this is what happens when the entire Pentagon is working against you and working against
the monumental change that you are trying to implement.
Secretary Hegseth was nominated for this position because he is standing up for the war fighter.
The men and women in uniform who are putting their lives on the line to protect our country and
our homeland.
And unfortunately, there have been people at that building who don't like the change
the Secretary is trying to bring, so they are leaking and they are lying to the mainstream
media.
We've seen this game played before.
The Secretary is doing a tremendous job and the president stands strongly behind him.
Well, remember the words of Chuck Schumer several years back.
Remember, they have six ways to Sunday to get you.
And that comment about the entire Pentagon against Pete Hickseth, that's pretty telling,
Rick.
It is. There's not much room in that phrase to suggest that she was exaggerating the level
of opposition in the Pentagon. She said the entire Pentagon is out to get him.
Right. And if that's the case, then, and you combine that with the story about
Kristi Noem, and now you get an understanding of everything that happened
over the weekend, that the pressure is going to continue on whoever they can put
pressure on to stop Donald Trump or to force Donald Trump to do something so
radical, so crazy that the American people will turn on Donald Trump.
Right.
That's their thinking.
But the American people may turn on the Supreme Court.
That's right.
The American people want these criminal aliens removed.
They want them removed.
Doc, it's so bizarre. The Democrats are...they have declared defending an MS-13 member, deported to Venezuela.
They have declared that cause as the hill that they will die on.
Yes.
As a party.
They're saying this is the most important thing in America today.
We must get this MS-13 gang leader back in America.
Why would an entire political party, why would prominent members of that party, US senators,
governors, congressmen and women, the news media, why are they so
adamant that this MS-13 gang member must be brought back to the United States where he
does not belong in the first place?
Because they've got to stop Donald Trump shipping people out of the US because their power base is compromised
by these illegal aliens that are voting for them.
But why wouldn't you find some innocent looking person who got caught up in,
person who got caught up in, you know, find some single mom who got deported, you know, make a crybaby story over it.
Why would you do it with a MS-13 gang member?
No, Rick, he's a Maryland man.
Yes, but he's not.
He's a Venezuelan man, or an El Salvador man.
I can only think of two reasons.
Well, three, going with what you're suggesting,
that at all costs just stop Donald Trump.
The power base, yes.
But you're telling me the power base of the Democratic Party
is radically in favor of keeping criminal gangs
at the United States?
If you listen to the rhetoric coming from them, yes.
OK, so that is one of my two options.
So you and I are actually seeing eye to eye on that.
So option one is the Democratic Party is a criminal entity.

The reason they're defending an MS-13 gang member is because they're gang members themselves,
not necessarily that gang, but they're criminals.
The Democrats are criminals.
That's option number one.
It's like the mafia fighting for another mobster.

Communist China has ordered the Democrats
to fall on their swords on this one.
That Communist China does not want the criminals deported from this country.
Because they need them here.
They need them here to bring down this country.

We don't know what kind of dirt they have on some of these leading politicians, but

of what's left of the Democrats, a lot of Democrats have left.
They're radical.
They want this.

from people walking around the city.
So this happened last week.
It says, quote,

"'Please don't tax the rich,
"'otherwise all the other billionaires
"'will move to Florida too.'"
But then he goes on and says wouldn't it be terrible if all the rich people left Seattle or got?

demanding that the chairman lose or lower his interest rates. President Trump is on CNBC. On
Monday, he ratcheted up his pressure campaign on Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell,
calling him a major loser and warning that the U.S. economy could slow down unless
interest rates are lowered immediately. He posted a long message on Truth Social.
Yes, he had this to say, and he posted this earlier today.
Pre-emptive cuts and interest rates are being called for by
many, with energy costs way down, food prices, including
Biden's egg disaster, substantially lower, and most
other things trending down, there is virtually no
inflation. With these costs trending so nicely downward,
just what I predicted they would do.
There could almost be no inflation but there can be a slowing of the economy unless
Mr. Too Late, a major loser, lowers interest rates. Now Europe has already lowered seven times.
Powell has always been too late except when it came to the election period when he lowered it
in order to help sleepy Joe Biden,
later Kamala, to try to get elected. How did that work out? So it's a battle royale here at this
point, Rick. Do you think Jerome Powell will end up stepping down here at some point?
What did Mr. Trump say last week? He'll leave when I tell him to go.
I don't know what he meant by that.
But the president was very assured of himself.
He said, if I tell him to leave, he'll leave.
So I guess that's when the president calls you
into the White House and tells you he doesn't
want to see your face again.
But I don't know how he orders him to leave.
What impact is this having on the economy?

Well, Doc, since Bloomberg wrote that headline this morning, the stock market has done more
than slump.

And so the S&P has lost 3% today.

Putin announced the failure of attempts to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia. He gave a speech today and the news is just
just starting to be published about what he said.
Yes and if this reporting is correct then President Putin is pretty confident
about the outcome of the upcoming peace talks with Ukraine and the US.
He had these four points that he centered on.
No one doubts that victory will be for Russia.
With the failure of attempts to defeat on the battlefield in the West, the realization
comes that the courage of citizens is the key to Russia's existence.
In other words, Russia's not going to back down.
Western weapons supplied to Ukraine are constantly on the black market and the Kiev regime is fighting for the capital
it stole from the American people, hence the desire to cooperate with sponsors.
All right, hold it right there. That last line. Yes. Again, this story just broke in
the past hour or so.
And so I've got very skimpy information about what Vladimir Putin said, but I've got more
that goes with that last sentence.
That caught my attention.
Let's read the rest of what he said about the Ukrainian Nazis fighting for the capital that they stole.

He's saying the Zelensky government is fighting for the money it stole from the Ukrainian
people.
Let's see what else Mr. Putin said.
So he said, there was only one thing that they were doing, pumping out resources and
money from these territories and people.
The money was stolen, sorry for the simplicity of expression, and it is still kept in bank
accounts abroad.
Therefore, there is such a desire to cooperate and give everything to the mercy of their
sponsors.
It goes on to say, they are not fighting for the interests of their sponsors. It goes on to say they are not
fighting for the interest of the people, they are fighting for their capital,
which they stole from the Ukrainian people, dragged abroad, and that's it.
They're sitting there on this money as if on a hook. If they wanted to say
something, they would never allow themselves because we are talking about
billions in bills, but they still continue to steal.
Okay, so Vladimir Putin is implying that Zelensky and his Nazi government had one purpose in mind,
and that was to plunder the wealth of Ukraine, move the money offshore into bank accounts they controlled.
And Doc, the way I'm reading this, and I may be wrong on this initial interpretation, when
he says they're fighting for the capital they stole, Hence the desire to cooperate with sponsors. Is part of the
negotiation that's going on behind the scene a demand that they get to keep the money they
stole?
Oh, no doubt.
Is that what Putin is saying? That they are negotiating with the United States and Europe
to keep the billions of dollars they stole.
It sure seems like it from the conversation going on here,
Rick, that maybe in the negotiations,
and the negotiations are still going on,
that something came up,
the Russians brought out the point to the US,
what are you gonna do about all the money that Zelensky and his cronies stole from Ukraine?
And are stealing from you guys, too?

And I don't know where that's going to end up, Rick, because that would have to mean that we knew that he was stealing and let it keep on going.
Well, no doubt the Biden's knew.
The Biden's made money on illegal operations in Ukraine.
The Trump administration's not participating in it,
but they're aware, maybe the Trump administration
now has a better comprehension of how deep the corruption
was under Biden.

Germany has what is being described as an erotic relationship with weapons systems.
The country's defense minister has said, as Berlin considers sending long-range
Taurus missiles to Ukraine, Boris Pistorius, Germany's most popular politician
according to polls, said that no other country had such public debates about sending specific weapons to Ukraine, including Britain and
France, which agreed to send jointly-made Storm Shadow missiles earlier this year.
Or late last year, rather.
I don't know where this erotic relationship with weapons comes from, Mr. Storius said
this week as Friedrich Merz, Germany's incoming
Chancellor, tried to convince the Social Democrat Party, his coalition partners, to

Bloomberg, U.S. may meet Wednesday with Ukraine, European allies on the peace plan.

with Ukrainian and European officials as President Trump pushes for a deal to halt Russia's full
scale invasion.
Remember, this is Bloomberg reporting this, according to people familiar with the matter.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and Keith Kellogg are expected to meet with the foreign ministers and national security advisors from
France, Germany, the UK, and Ukraine.
The people said, speaking anonymously to discuss private deliberations, they said the plans
for the talks are being finalized and could still change.
The U.S. in these negotiations, it appears,
is prepared to ease sanctions on Moscow
and to recognize Russia's control
over the Ukrainian Black Sea Peninsula of Crimea
as part of a deal.
Bloomberg reported that the U.S. proposal
would effectively freeze the front line in the war
that's now in its fourth year,
with Russia retaining
de facto control of most of the other territory its forces occupy currently in Ukraine's
east and south.
Ukraine's aim of joining NATO would be off the table too, though any agreement would
have to include security guarantees for Kiev to ensure that any deal holds. And I don't know how they're
gonna negotiate that security arrangement because Russia's made it
clear we're not gonna have any European troops in Ukraine. That's it.
That's a deal-killer for us, unless something has changed.
I think the European Union has made it clear there's not going to be any troops.
Right.
They can't even come up.
Have you seen any stories in the past week
about 100,000 EU troops?
No, because they realized they'd be fighting alone.
They wouldn't have any help from the United States.
Because the United States is going in on this deal with Russia.
It's just a matter of time now. And if you look at these terms, Rick, Ukraine lost the war.

It wasn't Ukraine, it was NATO. And the United States. We were in World War III with Russia.
But leave to Donald Trump to take terms of surrender and turn into a mineral deal.

Russia said it was pleased with a Trump administration
proposal to rule out Ukraine joining NATO as a way to end the war, but showed no

presented the idea as part of a package of proposals to Ukrainian and European
officials. The Journal reported the U.S. is now awaiting Kiev's response, which is expected during a meeting,
as we just talked about, in London this week.
And the proposals may be presented to Moscow if the American, European, and Ukrainian positions
align.

They're going to finish this deal.
So somehow, President Trump has found a way to get the Europeans on board and the Ukrainians
in their place.

Do you want to keep it?

if you guys continue to provoke them.

I'll tell you what, I'll tell you what.
Can you hear Donald Trump say, I'll tell you what,
we're just gonna leave NATO and pull out of Ukraine
and you guys are on your own and we're gonna sign
a peace treaty with Russia and we don't care
what Russia does to you.
So, Ukraine's admission to NATO now is a non-starter.
We've heard from Washington at various levels that Ukraine's membership in NATO is out of
the question.
This is something that satisfies us and coincides with our position.
That's coming from Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov, however, declined to comment on the prospects of an agreement on solving the conflict,
and especially about a time frame.
President Trump on Sunday said he hoped Ukraine and Russia
would make a deal this week.
And so him saying that means that the deal's probably
gonna come together this week,
especially after the meeting in Europe with everybody.
And so that's gonna be it.
That's probably gonna be the last of it right there. Okay now the next article, Trump's National Security
Council director for Israel and Iran previously worked for the Israeli
Ministry of Defense. I'm not kidding you, didn't make it up. We just have a merger of Israel and the United States.

So the American official that's overseeing the White House policy toward both Israel
and Iran inside the National Security Council, formerly worked for the Israeli Ministry of
Defense.

of what it's like to be a Palestinian Christian
living under Israeli occupation.

So where are all the churches here in the US crying out for freedom of religion for

channel, no media here in the U in the US talks about that at all.
But if it had been any other faith,
especially if it had been the Jewish faith,
they would have gone absolutely bananas.
And if you would question people in authority
here in America, they would say,
well, you know the Palestinians,
the Israelis have to break them up
and keep them in small groups.
Yeah, they're always causing trouble.
They love just to, you know, they're probably,
half of them were probably wearing, you know, bomb vests.
You know, you can't let them just go to church
in large numbers.

Well, while we're talking about the Middle East,
this next headline caught my attention,
the Middle East Monitor,
China and Egypt hold their first joint Air Force drill.
Like what? Who? China and Egypt? And Rick, we have given billions of dollars to
Egypt. We're still given it. They're under the exemption of the
financial aid that we get. And they're holding military drills with China. Yes. So
Chinese media is reporting that China and Egypt held their first joint Air Force drill
Sunday named Eagles of Civilization 2025.
The joint Air Force exercise kicked off in an air base in Egypt on Saturday morning.
China deployed fighter jets, early warning aircraft, tanker aircraft, and helicopters
to the drill, CCTV has reported. The
Chinese People's Liberation Army, Air Force's J-10C fighter jet, the U-20
aerial tanker aircraft, and KJ-500 early warning aircraft are participating in
the exercise. At the same time, the Egyptian side has deployed MiG-29
fighter jets.
The exercise featured a long-distance maneuvering, the report says.
The Chinese defense minister said the drill is significant for promoting practical cooperation,
boosting friendship, and mutual trust.
Well, what about the trust that we invested in Egypt for, and still are to this day, supporting their
military?
We're funding the Egyptian military.

The U.S. is being pushed out of the Middle East.

Because we have one interest there.

what they can't do to please Israel. And Egypt is next door to Gaza. The Rafa Gate goes from Gaza into Egypt, and the
Egyptians have had to stand back and watch the Israelis kill tens of thousands of Palestinians.
And they're reaching out to China. They say, why don't you come on over here, bring us
a, fly some of your jets over here. Let's send a message to the United States and
Israel that we're not we're not patsies anymore. That's what's happening.

this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits that blindness in part is happened
to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved
as it is written, there shall come out of Zion the deliverer and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob for this is my covenant
with them when I shall take away their sins as concerning the gospel they are enemies for your
sakes but as touching the election they are blood for the father's sake for the gifts and calling

Verse 36. For of him and through him and to him and it shall be recompensed unto him again." Verse 36, for of him and through him and

Verse 25, for I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery,
would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits, that blindnesses in part happen to Israel, until the fullness of the
Gentiles become in."
The World English Bible translation is, for I don't desire you to be ignorant brothers of this mystery
So that you won't be wise in your own conceits that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in
So this verse reveals
It unveils a ails a divine mystery,
a clarifying God's plan to prevent Gentile believers
from misunderstanding his purposes with Israel.
Paul said, I don't want you to be ignorant.
Like, hey, don't be stupid about this.
Listen to me.
Listen up.
Don't act ignorant about this.
He's emphasizing the importance of understanding this mystery to avoid spiritual arrogance among Gentile Christians.
Right.
So, if we go back to Romans 9, 10, and all of 11, the focus is on Israel's role in salvation's history.
And so Paul's inviting humility among Gentiles and saying just trust in the plan.
God has a plan.
It's a sovereign plan is a divine plan.
Trust in the plan.
A mystery, mystery refers to a hidden truth.
But now it's disclosed.
Paul's saying, don't be ignorant about this mystery.
You didn't understand it before, I'm explaining it to you.
And this mystery shows that God's hard me of his redemptive strategy,
his plan.
So this mystery is openly shared.
Hey, it's a mystery.
It's a secret.
I'm going to tell everybody. So be clear. It's no longer a mystery, it's a secret. I'm going to tell everybody.
So be clear, it's no longer a mystery now, is it?

When you see, when you see people on social media, on television, radio, whatever, and they're selling you a book full of mysteries,

There are no mysteries in the Bible.
There was, but God revealed it.
Yes.
Well, the phrase blindness in part is happened to Israel.
It means that Israel's spiritual hardening
is not total, nor permanent.
There is a hope for restoration. Only a portion, that's the remnant, a portion of Israel
and when we're talking here in Israel in Romans we're talking about, we're
talking about the Jewish people. We're not, the broader sense in the church age now is is true Israel represent Israel
has always represented the people who believe God and obey God.
Right.
But in this context, Paul's referring to Israel as the Jewish people.
And so only a portion of Israel rejected the gospel.
Paul is an example.
One of the most enthusiastic,
ardent persecutors of the church,
and yet the Lord Jesus pursued him to Damascus and blinded him, temporary blindness.
He was physically blinded by the Lord Jesus Christ and then several days later his sight was restored when he came to understand the Lord Jesus Christ
was the Messiah.
Right.
And so Paul himself is an example
of the temporary blindness,
the temporary hardness of heart.
Yes.
He himself experienced it.
Yes.
And he is probably chief among all of the remnant Jews.
He's the shining example of the Jews who are part of the remnant of Israel.
So what's the purpose of this hardening of the Jewish people?
Well, certainly it is given non-Jewish people
space to consider whether they want to be included in Israel.
And that has been going on now for over 2000 years, continues today.
All over the world, in every nation today,
there will be Gentiles who will come to know Jesus Christ.
And there will be Jews who come to know Jesus Christ
all over the world.
So the process continues.
All the Gentiles were not saved and all the Jews were not abandoned.
A part of each population is still being saved. So the fullness of the Gentiles,
how would you explain that, Doc? I've heard different explanations. I know how the the the
Christian Zionists explain it. Yeah, the Christian Zionists explain it. There's a certain
number and then once that number is crossed it's almost like maximum
capacity. This bus only holds 32 people. Well once we get to 32, it's done. The bus is leaving. I've looked at this on
and off through the years, and I'm convinced what it is. God has, of course, he has omniscience.
He sees the end before the beginning ever began. And he knows that there's a time when
all this is going to be complete. This fullness of the Gentiles,
you know, don't get it confused with just the idea that God is limited to a certain number.
It's just He's aware of it. But that fullness of the Gentiles will also coincide with the fullness
of Israel as well. There's going to be a point in time
where no one will be saved any longer, Jew or Gentile.
There's going to be a final day.
That's when time ceases to exist itself.
That's it.
It's all said and done.
And so for me, Rick, the fullness of the Gentiles
coincides with the fullness of Israel as well.
And so even though Paul is expressing, hey, there's, you know, the Gentiles have been brought in.
That's the gospel. That's the mystery that we're talking about.
Here's another part of that mystery. It's going to end someday, too. Yes. Now the Darbyites, the Scofieldites, and all the other Zionistites in the church, the way
they explain this, and I'm giving a very brief simplistic explanation, is that the fullness
of the Gentiles means, well, you've got to go back to remember that what they what they teach is that That when uh, jesus, uh walked the earth
That he failed in his mission
To bring the kingdom of god to the jews that it was a failure
Right and and the jews got angry and and crucified him and then god called a timeout
So hey, this is not going right
Yeah, this ain't working
This isn't working. I got plan b
I'm gonna i'm gonna set the jews over here to the side
And i'm gonna put the gentiles in this parenthesis
Called the christian gentile age or the church age they'll say the church age and and so this is the timeout

At a certain point I will

The fullness of the Gentiles means when God and his sovereign wisdom says we are at full capacity, there are no more seats, let's wrap this thing up. Only
he knows that number.
Yes. There's going to be one person that's the final person in.
Yes. Now, some people would say, well, are you saying that he's already
chosen all the Gentiles that are going to be saved and once that last one's saved,
nobody else can get saved? That's not exactly how I would say it. He has a number. He has a number, he has a number chosen.
He has a time chosen.
There is a moment, there is a time when God has to cut this off.
Right.
Cut it, cut what?
The age of mankind.
It can't go on and on and on and on and on forever.
There is a time, a point where God says,
that's it, we're gonna wrap it up now.
If you're not in the church by now, it's over.
That's what creates the urgency in me and others to preach the gospel, to share the
gospel with people.
We don't know when that time is, but God does.
And it's not, I don't believe it's that only certain people are going to get saved, but
there is a cutoff point when the offer of salvation expires.
Right. And God in his omniscience already knows it. He already sees it. To him, it's now,
and has already, and will be, because he's not limited by time. So God sees that fullness up
ahead and reveals it to Paul here that there is going to come a time where the door is shut, the gate is closed, and not only for the Gentiles, but it's also going to be for the Jews too, where that fullness takes place. I use a term called sin amnesty.
Right.
That God has declared a sin amnesty.
So what is an amnesty?
An amnesty is when a government says,
okay, anybody who has broken this law,
you have 30 days to voluntarily turn yourself in,
admit that you did it and the government will just
wipe the offense off your record and will act like it never happened but you've got
to turn yourself in in 30 days.
If you miss the 30th day the penalties are doubled.
This is what I see when the fullness of the Gentiles, this is the sin amnesty.
Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord during the sin amnesty shall be saved.
But when that sin amnesty expires, nobody's going to be saved. But when that sin amnesty expires, nobody's going to be saved. And that includes
Jews. Because the Christian Zionists teach that the Gentiles are raptured and taken away, and now
Jews are being saved by the bustlers. Don't explain how they're saved. Don't explain how,
whether they're responding to the gospel or something else never explained that part of it. Well, they got 144,000
Jewish men running around the world preaching something but it's apparently not the gospel and nobody's getting
Baptized and it's just you know, it's it that's the mystery and the door be mystery. You're talking about a mystery. Yes
So Paul said lest ye should be wise in your own conceits
You know guard against pride
Just be humble don't be don't be arrogant and think you know everything about God's plan
Our Don't be arrogant and think you know everything about God's plan. Our inclusion as Gentiles in Israel
does not imply Gentile superiority over Jews.
Correct.
Remember, we are the wild branch that was grafted in.
The original branches were cut off, and we're the wild ones that were brought in and grafted
in. So we should reject self-reliance, self-exaltation, and always be praying for the Jews would be open. So God has, he's got a sovereign plan.
Somehow, I mean, he orchestrated the hardening
of the hearts of the Jewish people.
I don't know how to, I mean,
Doc, if he hardened their hearts
and they died in their sin, they are lost.
How else can you explain it?

But God only confirms what was already
going on in their hearts.
See that to me, that's the mystery that I have trouble comprehending.
Because it means people were born, they live their lives
in rebellion against Christ, died in their unbelief and are forever lost.

proximity of being in that condition
where God would seal you in your rebellion and unbelief.
I'm grateful to be saved. I didn't deserve to be saved.
I didn't do anything to be saved. My father came looking for me.
I accepted his offer, and I'm staying with him. He stuck with me.
I'm not with him. He stuck with me. I'm not leaving him
You found me father and I'm not leaving I
Want to be with you forever, I don't want to I don't want to drift away from my father I
Want to be by his side all the time I
I want to be by His side all the time.
I want to be so tenderhearted towards Him that just the slightest look from Him would bring conviction.
Be tenderhearted towards the Lord. Be sensitive to Him.
Know what He likes and what He doesn't like. know what pleases him. What doesn't please him. Amen.
Verse 26 and so all Israel shall be saved as it is written.
There shall come out of Zion the deliverer and shall turn away

So now verse 26, it boldly declares all Israel shall be saved. So the definition of all Israel is can only be written by God.

In the Darbyites, the Schofieldites, John Higgeites,
they interpret this that there will be a day that every Jew on earth will get saved.
That's what they teach.
It's what they teach.
Or they will be declared saved. I guess, I think it's more that doc. Or they will be declared saved. I guess I think it's more that,
Doc. They'll just be declared saved. Right. You made it to the end. You got in this little window
right here. So, and they'll transpose the Jewish people in the state of Israel in that same
statement there.
But you notice, Rick, when they quote this particular verse of Scripture,
they don't quote the whole thing.
They only quote the first part.
And it's essential that we look at the entire verse here and not
just the first part and go off to the races with it.
What does the second part promise?
A deliverer.
A deliverer. Now, would they say there's some future
deliverer? Would they say that's the return of Jesus? They would say that it's the return of
Christ who comes back, saves Israel, sets up a worldwide Jewish kingdom. Jesus sits, you know,
he's kind of like Prince Charles. He just kind of sitting on
the throne and everything, but you know, Israel, how they define it, runs everything else.
You got it, Doc. And so the Christian Zionists paint this picture that Jesus comes back to save
the state of Israel. Not the Jews, the state of Israel. In their mind,
the state of Israel is the priority. And if you are in Israel, you automatically are included.
Because it's saving the state of Israel that is the most important thing.
So I guess Jews living in New York and Miami, when Christ comes back, I guess they're out.
They don't get saved because they're not in Israel.
And how about all the Jews that died before that period of time?
I guess they're out of touch.
Between the time of Jesus Christ to the time of the tribulation, I guess they get the short
end of the stick, huh?
Or unless you believe that they're saved
by essence of being Jewish,
which some of them hold to, they don't say it out loud.
But when Paul's talking about all Israel here, Rick,
what is he really talking about?
All of the people that God in his sovereign wisdom
chose to be the elect.

As far as the elect are concerned?
You know, when he says all Israel shall be saved.
I believe that it's everyone who is believed by faith in what God has said. All Israel shall be saved. I believe that it's everyone who has believed by faith
in what God has said, all Israel shall be saved.

All that he had chosen and the ones he had chosen
were the ones that believed in his son.
So are you telling me, and this is the argument
I would make to our dispensational associates,
are you telling me that a Jewish person, let's just say any
Jewish person, and they've done the most atrocious crimes, they're a pedophile, whatever it is,
whatever their crime is, are you telling me they shall be saved without Christ? Or that
Christ is just going to save them without repentance.
That goes against the rest of Scripture.
That goes against the nature of God and everything else he spells out
in the rest of the Word of God.
It would be contrary to his nature to do that.
That's right.
So how was anyone saved?
They were saved by repentance and faith repentance and faith
repentance and faith. That's it. And faith in Jesus Christ specifically faith in the resurrected
Jesus Christ. Not faith in the state of Israel faith in the resurrected Jesus Christ.
the resurrected Jesus Christ. And without faith in the deliverer from Zion, you're lost, whether you're Jew or Gentile.

God has promised to save the elect, and the elect is whosoever will.
Yes. There you go. and the elect is whosoever will.
Yes, there you go. That's pretty easy to understand there.
Does that harmonize, reconcile the two concepts?
He has promised to save the elect
and the elect is whosoever will.
Whosoever will what?
Call upon the name of the Lord. Put their
faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. If you will believe the gospel you will be in
the elect and if you're in the elect all Israel shall be saved.
And if you're in the elect, all Israel shall be saved.
Now, Doc, am I preaching Calvinism or Wesleyism?
Where am I right now? No, you're preaching the word.
I'm just having fun with this. Because you know what, both of them are right. Yes, they're preaching the word. I'm just having fun with this.
Because you know what?
Both of them were right.

But looking at it from different perspectives.
Looking at it from two different directions.
Let's bring it together.
Let's focus.
And let's bring this into 20-20 vision. decision.
What we clearly know who the deliverer is, it's outright rejection and then there's just indifference.
Doesn't matter, either one will keep you out of the kingdom.

The gospel is to be believed.
It's the only purpose of the gospel, to be believed. It's the only purpose of the gospel, to be believed.
And when you believe the gospel,
you will know that Jesus Christ is the Messiah
that God promised to the Jews.
As it is written, Paul's talking about God's unchanging promises, that his word is steadfast, that you can trust whatever God promised.
Move on to verse 27. I gotta get, I wanna finish up this chapter today.
We got a long way to go.
For this is my covenant unto them
when I shall take away their sins.
For this is my covenant.
What's the covenant?
I shall take away their sins.
Well, the only way for your sins to be taken away
is to believe on the name of the one
who has the authority on earth to remove sins,
to forgive sins. There's only one empowered by Almighty God with the authority to forgive
sins, and that is Jesus Christ. And if you can't believe in Him, if you won't believe in Him,
if you don't believe in Him, your sins cannot be forgiven. Right. And Paul in this particular
verse here is referring back to the prophet Jeremiah. And so Jeremiah 31-33 says,
But this shall be the covenant I will make
with the house of Israel.
After those days, saith the Lord,
I will put my law in their inward parts
and write it in their hearts and will be their God
and they shall be my people.
The dispensational say that this particular verse here
happens at some time, some future point in time.
It's always somewhere in the future, Rick,
always in the future. Always in the future.
Always in the future. But the prophet Jeremiah saw a day where the Word of God would be written on
our hearts. That's not for from Jeremiah's point of view, it was future. For us, it's now. Yes.
God, when we confess Jesus Christ, we have that law written on our hearts, on our inward parts here.
And so, Paul is in some ways saying, you know, this is already being fulfilled in this day.
And when I say in this day, I mean first century. It's already being fulfilled right now.
God's already writing laws on the hearts of people those Jews and Gentiles and
So so when Paul is referencing this, you know
This covenant he's made that come he established that come it's the new covenant
Amen
I'm still here right? No, no, it perfect. I There's nothing else I can add to it. That's exactly the way that
verse needs to be described. Verse 28, as concerning the gospel, they are enemies for
your sakes. But as concerning the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes."
Fathers, not father, fathers' sake.
Plural fathers.
And so this is a…
It presents a complex status here of the Jews.
He says, hey, as far as you're concerned, you Gentiles, concerning the gospel of Christ,
they're your enemies.
Are they still our enemies today?
Yes, they still act like enemies. You have to work overtime to forgive them,
because they will come against you.
Because of their rejection of Christ.
Their opposition to the gospel,
their refusal to believe in Jesus as the Messiah.
But that opened the door for Gentiles to be brought in.
Praise God.
For your sakes.
As concerning the election, they are beloved.
God has not stopped loving them. Right, and that there's an elect few who will
respond to the gospel. That's what the election is talking about there. He hasn't totally rejected
them. There's still some who will accept the gospel. Look, you can have a utterly disobedient,
disrespectful teenager that you eventually
kick out of the house.
Right.
And say, until you respect me,
you do not come back in this house.
But that parent still loves that teenager,
never disowns that teenager. Simply says when you have an attitude adjustment, you may come back.
This is God's position towards the Jews.
Are you kicked out of the house? You're kicked out.
And until you get an attitude adjustment
about my son, Jesus Christ, you can't come back in.
But I still love you.
I'll always be your father.

introduce myself and say hey I'm Raymond Burkhart. And they say, oh, you're George's boy. I have no identity to this
person other than I'm the son of George Burkhart. The only thing they know about me is George
Burkhart was my father. That's it. And anything they extend to me, any kind of courtesy, any kind of
respect, good or bad,
it's for George's sake on what they remembered about my father, not me.
They have no history with me.
That's a great way of explaining it, doc.
That's exactly the way it is.
When we went to Jordan and to Petra and we found out that the,
the first non-Arab to see Petra was a Johann Burkhardt?

And what was the promise?
Well, the promise is that he would send the messiah and the holy spirit living in you is that
fulfillment of the promise to Abraham. Amen. It sure is. Do not cheapen
the presence of the holy Spirit in your life.

For the gifts and the callings of God are without repentance.
it for the gifts and the callings of God are without repentance. God never retracts his promises.
You can ignore them, reject them, not use the promise, not stand up, but he doesn't withdraw his promises. That's right. He doesn't withdraw his gifts. He doesn't withdraw his callings.
There are many people that go through life miserable because they're called by God and
they never act on it.
The callings there through their entire life.
Yes.
There are people that don't use their gifts, but the gifts haven't disappeared. They just haven't used them.
Right.
Which, and I will tell you, is a major reason why I made a change in this ministry, in my life and said I have clearly heard the Lord tell me he has done using me to
analyze the news for the benefit of people understanding what's going on in
the world because that was getting in the way of gifts of teaching and writing.
I can't do all of them at one time.
And the Lord said that Rick put aside this gift
you've been walking in.
You still have the gift, but I don't want you to use it like you've been using it.
I want you to build it like you've been using it.
I want you to build up your teaching muscles, build up your writing muscles.
Become strong in those things.
Because Rick, it certainly wasn't your intention to become a newsman.
Your intention was to say, look, the Lord has shown me something about the end of days
here and I'm seeing things happening in the world around me that confirm what God said
to me.
That time is running very, very short.
The window of time is closing and the things that we see in the world are pointing to a
final day that
is coming fast.
At the heart of it, that's what the ministry was about.
But Doc, it was never my intention to become a radio show host, a podcaster, a minister.
It was never my intention.
I was not.
You're minding my own business until the Lord showed up one day.
I was saved. I loved the Lord. I was a Christian, went to church.
I was absolutely believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. But one day the Lord showed up in
my life and clearly made it known to me He had a work for me to do. And
that changed everything, but I wasn't seeking it. I submitted to it. I surrendered to it.
And I obeyed by faith.
And now 27 years have gone by since I first
accepted that call, which was in 1998.
The radio program didn't start until 99.
But I acted on the call in 98.
But I wasn't seeking it.
I said, hey, what could I do that would have a lot of trouble, give me a lot of enemies,
make me misunderstood.
What could I do?
Now, nobody thinks like that.
So God's gifts are irrevocable.
God's gifts are irrevocable and his calling remains in effect. Yes.
And it's up to us to accept those gifts and callings by faith,
walk in them by faith, and exercise them by faith.
And as every step you take by faith,
God increases the gifts and the calling in your life.
Right.
Just keep taking steps.
Okay.
Doc, is there anything you want to add about that verse?
No, other than it's often used out of context today.
You know, when people quote it, they're usually talking about spiritual gifts or something like that.
But Paul was talking specifically about what gifts? Well, he wasn't talking about spiritual gifts.
What was the gift? That gift of grace that was extended in the past
and that calling that still exists.
And God hasn't taken those back.
When it says without repentance,
it doesn't mean, oh man, I'm so sorry, you know,
and all that, no, no.
It means that God has changed the way he does things
and yet it's still the same.
It's open to the Gentiles now.
And then the very next verse, Paul says,
for as ye, you Gentiles, were outside and believe
and came in, Jews who are now outside,
they can believe and come in too.
So don't think you're in a special place there.
So at the core, the calling is the call to come into the
kingdom. Yes, the gift is the mercy, the grace, the spiritual
empowerment, empowerment to believe the gospel and live for
Christ. Right. And those calling and that those gifts will not be rescinded.
Verse 11, excuse me, Romans 11.30.
For as ye in times past have not believed God,
ye have now obtained mercy through their unbelief.
through their unbelief.
Before the gospel, Gentiles, non-Jews lived in rebellion.
They were not part of God's covenant, not recipients of his promises.
And yet God had a plan to bring Gentiles into Israel
and to let them share in the promises. But he said the Gentiles have now obtained mercy.
now obtain mercy. So this is celebrating God's gracious inclusion of Gentiles into his redemptive plan through faith in Christ. Right. So Gentiles now receive salvation as a gift of grace,
and that transforms their position, their status from outsiders to heirs.
And so the mercy granted to Gentiles fulfills God's promise to bless all nations through Abraham's seed who was the Lord Jesus Christ.
The phrase, through their unbelief, speaks of the Jews' rejection of the gospel.
That God uses their rejection of the gospel to open the door for the gospel to the Gentiles. Yes.
Again, the Darbeites would teach it that Jesus failed in his mission and God had to come up with plan B.
No, he only had one plan.
He knew they would reject his son and he knew that he would bring the Gentiles in
Yes, it's throughout the mission throughout the covenant the old covenant the prophets talked about it
It wasn't a new plan it was always the plan
Praise God, it was the plan.
Praise God, it was the plan.
Verse 31, even so have these also now not believed
that through your mercy, they also may obtain mercy.
So these also now not believed. Speaking about the Jews. Speaking about their present disobedience.
A temporary rejection of the gospel.
That it aligns with God's redemptive plan.
That it is part of his divine strategy. The phrase, now not believed, again it speaks of the current
state of the Jewish people, this hardening of their hearts. But there will be in the future, God has opened the door for the remnant of Jews to come into
the kingdom.
But they're coming into the church of Christ.
They're not joining a synagogue, They're joining the Church of Christ.
Again, these Christian Zionists, they refuse to say that the Jews must be brought into
the Church of Christ.
Yes.
They're going to be saved, all Israel is going to be saved, but not in the church.
What else? What else can you be in?
The church is the body of Christ.
Does he have a second body?
He has one body.
There's one head and one body.
verse 31, even so have these also now believed that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
Did I just do that one?
Yeah, I think we're ready for 32, but. Yeah, I think I did it twice here.
Verse 32, for God hath concluded them all in unbelief
that he might have mercy upon all.
God might have mercy upon all. What does this mean, doc, for God hath concluded them all in unbelief? Um, to me, that's that he's saying Jews and Gentiles, all of you are disobedient.
All of you need mercy.
All of you need forgiveness.
Yes.
God's already established.
I've come to the conclusion you're all disobedient.
That's right.
And Paul says that in Romans,
for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
So even though, really, and so Paul comes out and says this,
listen, Jews have rejected God and Gentiles have rejected God.
They've all rejected God.
But in this rejection, God is revealing His mercy and His grace.
Even in the midst of the rejection,
no matter who you are, all have sinned,
Jew, Gentile, whatever.
But in the midst of that, even though they've sinned,
even though they've rejected God,
this gives God the opportunity to show forth
his power and his mercy and his grace in allowing them to repent and come into the kingdom by faith.
Okay, we have four more verses to finish chapter 11 verse 33. Oh, the depth of the riches, both of the wisdom and knowledge of God, how unsearchable are his judgments
and his ways past finding out.
And as smart as Paul was, and he was so smart that Peter,
at one point, said, you know, Paul says things that sometimes
are a bit confusing. He says, but they're scripture.
The Peter said that confirmed that about Paul.
But here's an example of Paul saying, you know what?
I look at this and I go, wow.
Yes, that's it.
That's what that's how I would translate this verse.
Wow. Wow.
Paul just paused and said, wow. His heart, his mind burst with awe at God's
boundless understanding, his mercy, the greatness of his redemptive plan. Right.
And as confusing at times that Romans may seem to be,
the book of Romans itself, and Paul absolutely
understood what he was writing and what he was talking about.
But even in the midst of that, if you're
having difficulty understanding Romans,
imagine where Paul was.
He said, I'm writing this down,
and I'm blown away by this.
Well, he was the first to get it.
Yeah.
He didn't have anything to read and study.
God was blowing the doors off of his mind.
So the riches, he talks about represents the inexhaustible death of God's insight, his plan for salvation of Jews and Gentiles. Paul's saying, this plan is so big, it blows my mind.
I am stunned at what the plan that God had for us.
But somehow he brings us all together.
He keeps his promises to Abraham.
He keeps his promise to the Jews.
He opens up the door to the Gentiles,
somehow he gets it all done.
Paul says this is almost beyond my comprehension.
How unsearchable are his judgments?
Verse 34, for who hath known the mind of the Lord, or who hath been his counselor?
Who's qualified to give advice to God? In my morning prayer, I was praising God as the Creator, and He's my Father. My Father
is the Creator. My Father can do anything. My Father can speak words and form galaxies with words.
He can make planets with words.
Yes.
He can make stars with words.
He doesn't need tools.
He doesn't lift his, he just speaks words
and stuff appears.
That's my father.
And this morning I said, Lord, Father, I know.
Nobody saw you do it because you had not even made Adam yet. But I sure wish I could have been there
to watch you make the universe.
Just to say, that's my father.
Look at him.
Look at what he's doing.
He's speaking words and stuff's appearing.
Look at that big planet he just made with words.
What else has he got inside of him?
Anything that anything he speaks becomes real.
Amen.
Do you understand what I just said?
Whatever he speaks is real.
Whatever word he has spoken that's in the Bible, it's real. And it's real
today. And you can believe it today because it came out of his mouth. It's as fresh today
as it was when he spoke it thousands of years ago. Just believe it. The power is in that word. For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Who's given him advice?
When Job was whining, he had reasons to whine.
I mean, he was covered with boils.
He was whining to God, and God said, where were you when I formed the universe?
I don't remember seeing you, Job.
Nobody's qualified to give him advice.
Nobody fully understands his mind.
We have a tiny little glimpse of his mind, teeny weeny little glimpse of his mind.
No human can advise him.
Here I have my council, my committee of counselors here.
I have all these humans I made.
They're going to give me advice.
Who hath been his counselor?
He needs no human advice, no guidance.
He doesn't need it from Jews and he doesn't need it from Gentiles. He does what he
desires to do. Whatever he speaks, he does it. Okay? And Paul is referring here to this plan
of salvation. Yes. And so, you may not like it. You may think it should be done a different way.
But God has ordained this is the way.
This is the path.
This is His purview, His choice, His doing, nobody else's.
He didn't lean over to Gabriel and said, you know what?
I'm having second thoughts about this.
No.
He set a plan. It was by faith,
faith in his promises. And that's the plan. Jew, Gentile, whatever.
The sooner you come to a place in your life that you accept whatever God has said as settled law,
whatever God has said as
settled law
Just that's it
He said it this is the way it is the sooner you come to that place the sooner your life's going to become easier
Because so many people are trying to
Alter what God said I know the bible says this, but exactly. I think, yes.
No, this is what he said.
You know, I get it.
You know, when, you know, we get the push back about giving offerings.
Oh, my people get the religious spirits get stirred up.
This is what the word says.
Take it or leave it I

It's that's what it says
The system he set up for you to be blessed on this earth is for you to give if you don't like it
Don't give don't be blessed. You're on your own, right?
Don't argue about it either. Yeah. That's his plan.
That is the plan.
Right. I'm not going to argue with people about it.
That's the plan.
You want to be healed?
Here's the plan.
This is what the Word says.
The Word
settles it.
His law is settled forever.
And this is the plan of salvation that he has. So then verse 35,
Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
It will be repaid to him again, it will be repaid to him again. Who has first given something to God and then
it will be repaid to him again? Just God owes nothing to any human and never will. He would
never allow himself to get in a position that he owes a human something.
Right. So God is not obligated to save you because of who you are. Jew or Gentile. He's
not obligated. Now, his love will obligate him. His love already has obligated him to give his son.
And he will uphold his word.
Yes.
For that purpose, he will uphold his word,
but he's not changing his word
to fit somebody else's whims.
Right.
That's a great way to put it, Rick.
He's not changing the plan of salvation.
He's not customizing it.
Well, I'm a good person, Rick. You know, I've gone to church all my life.
I give every offering. None of those are qualifiers, friends.
Not a single one. God's not obligated to save you because of those things.
So no human can give to God or earn his favor, his salvation, his forgiveness.
We can't give him something that in return we get paid back. Then salvation wouldn't be a gift.
He's not accepting payments from, he doesn't have a window open in heaven.
You can't bribe God.
Nope.
Bottom line, you can't bribe him.
He owns everything
Including he doesn't know and it doesn't owe you anything. He doesn't owe you anything
That's why it's grace because he doesn't owe you anything. He's under no obligation to save you none
Doesn't owe the United Nations doesn't own the US Treasury doesn't owe the United Nations, doesn't own the US Treasury, doesn't owe world Zionism, doesn't owe anything
to the Vatican, nothing.
We are in debt to him.
It's through his wonderful grace that we are saved.
Verse 36, this is the end of chapter 11,
for of Him and through Him and to Him
are all things to whom be glory forever, amen.
That says it all.
For of Him, through Him, and to Him is everything.
Everything.
Of Him speaks of His position as creator.
Yes.
Through Him.
Recognizes Him as the sustaining force in the universe,
orchestrating every detail of His redemptive plan.
And to Him.
And to Him.
He deserves all worship and glory and praise because of it. Amen. Amen. Praise God. Hey, we did it.
We finished. And it's a doxology.
Yep. He ended with a doxology. When Paul said amen here, that's the end of that particular
lecture or treatise or wherever you want to call it.
I got nothing else to say, Paul.

Because if you're a millionaire a thousand dollars,000, that's not that generous, is it? But if $1,000 is 90% of what's in your bank account, that makes you extremely generous.
He's looking at the attitude of the heart.
How generous are you?
And how much trust do you have in him?
How much faith do you have?
When you give like that for the work of the gospel, it's like Abraham taking Isaac to
the mountaintop.
Boy, I don't know how this is going to work out, but you and I are coming down off this mountain.
When you give those gifts, when it's like wipes out your bank account, that's like saying, God, I don't know how this is gonna work out, but my bills are gonna be paid
because I'm being obedient to you. I'm being generous. I am. I trust my faith is in you.
That's what impresses him,
your faith in him. All right, I'm going to start a Faith Friday here. Let's do this.
