Episode Date: February 1, 2022It's our first edition of the UAP Alien Update, where we give you all the latest info on the most recent sightings and alien news. In this maiden voyage, we discuss the mysterious radio signa...l bursts coming from 4,000 lightyears away! What could it be? Everybody talked about it since I first moved to Oregon.
The big one, the earthquake that trashed the whole west coast, total destruction.
Officially calling it the largest natural disaster in American history.
I just didn't know what would help me next.
So I took it all.
Even the gun.
It was time.

Right. Welcome into the first edition of the UAP Alien Updates.
Yay.
News special thing we're starting here.
Every Tuesday we're going to come out and tell you exactly what's happening with the latest alien news.
Like the latest sightings, the latest tidbits news about, because it's happening real time.
Yes, exactly.
People are encountering extraterrestrials, or so they say.
Right.
And that's the thing.
You know, when it comes to the podcast itself, of course, we're still going to do that.
Nothing's going to change with that.
But we felt, you know what?
Instead of just doing the podcast where we talk about stories, things have happened in the past,
let's make this a little bit more current events, if you will.
Yes, current alien events.
Current alien events.
So that's kind of the goal behind this.
And, you know, kind of a quick thing, a quick update on what's happening in the world of sightings and alien news.
So we'll jump right into it.
What do you got for us today?
Karen, our first edition here.
Thank you, Diner.
I did foam the runway with the idea that we would cover these nine things that we learned about aliens in 2021.
And the first thing that we learned that UFOs are real, according to the government.
And the government knows it.
And that's why we're doing our UAP podcast.
That was the entire Genesis, the Nexus event, if you will, that brought about this podcast to begin with, was that disclosure last summer.
That's right.
It was the, what is that thing called at the beginning of the Big Bang?
The actual Big Bang itself?
The little tiny thing.
The star or the atom?
No, I'll find out.
But that's what it was.
Okay.
The singularity.
There you go.
That was the singularity for our UAP podcast.
Outstanding.
So in June, the Pentagon released a highly anticipated report detailing 140 foe,
1004-140-uncoun-uncoun-few-foe-uncounters between 2004 and 2021,
and the report actually meant that they were acknowledging UFO.
foes, right? And that's why we decided to do a podcast called UAP, because that's what they're calling
them now. Explain.
Exactly. Yeah, the unidentified aerial phenomenon is the original UAP abbreviation. We turned it
into unidentified alien podcast. But, you know, you're right, Karen, that's really what started
at all. We figured, you know what, it's something, you know, I've always been interested in.
I've been taking notes for years. You have this list of stuff you've compiled over the years that we
just dip into and investigate and research.
and bring it to you.
And that was the thing was, you know, I always felt kind of ostracized like a lot of other people
who, you know, dared to believe in such a thing as life on other planets and life in the universe.
And you're like, oh, I don't want to bring that up.
I'm going to sound like, you know, a crazy person.
But this report that came out from the government last summer kind of legitimized everything that we've always thought.
There's a nine-page assessment.
It confirmed that most of the UAP reported probably do represent physical objects.
Hello?
Which range from, well, bird.
balloons to foreign surveillance equipment and top secret U.S. government projects.
However, anyone hoping for an acknowledgement of extraterrestrial intelligence may have been let down
when the report failed to link any of the 144 encounters to alien activity.
Yeah, so they kind of kept that part open-ended because they didn't come right out and say,
yes, aliens are real.
But what they did come out and they said was, listen, UFOs themselves are real.
They're unidentified flying objects.
And there are cases that we cannot explain.
the most famous one being the USS Nimitz in 2004.
That's right.
Well, there's another one now.
It's a mysterious radio signal from space.
It's repeating every 18 minutes and 18 seconds.
And the unidentified radio source could be a type of dead star that's never been observed before.
Or it could be aliens trying to contact us.
There's something called the radio universe and it's you and I work in radio.
That's right.
But this is different.
I didn't realize that there are radio telescopes.
And this woman, she's so fascinating.
Her name is Natasha Hurley Walker,
and she's a radio astronomer at the International Center
for Radio Astronomy Research.
And she explains the importance of radio astronomy,
why it exists.
As we get to a certain distance away,
everything becomes red.
And that presents something of a problem.
Eventually, we get so far away, everything is shifted into the infrared, and we can't see anything at all.
So there must be a way around this. Otherwise, I'm limited in my journey. I wanted to explore the whole universe, not just whatever I can see before the red shift kicks in.
There is a technique. It's called radio astronomy. Astronomers have been using this for decades. It's a fantastic technique. I show you the Parks Radio Telescope, affectionately known as the dish. You may have seen the movie.
And radio is really brilliant.
It allows us to peer much more deeply.
It doesn't get stopped by dust.
So you can see everything in the universe.
And Redshift is less of a problem because we can build receivers that receive across a large band.
So that's how they received this 18 minute, 18 second burst.
She says that there are no models that produce such bright radio emission from two objects in orbit with each other with such precision and any that would produce any kind of radio waves.
would also produce x-ray emission, which she doesn't see on this one.
And that's the curious thing about this is the consistency of when this is being heard.
It's on the dot every 18 minutes and 18 seconds.
So what does that mean?
Why is it that every 18 minutes and 18 seconds, they are getting this burst, this radio signal from 4,000 light years away,
which I know it sounds like it's really far.
I think it's 24 quadrillion miles.
Yes.
So that sounds really far.
cosmic terms, they say it's in the cosmic
backyard. It's the backyard
of our very own universe, I guess you could say.
So it's really odd. It's a very curious
thing. They don't know what it is. So add us to the list
of unidentified signals
and objects. She says
a process of elimination, Hurley Walker,
who you just heard there. Her colleagues think
it could either be a white dwarf or a
magnetar, both of which are
leftover remains of stars that have
burned out. And white dwarfs
are the corpses of load of
medium mass star, such as the sun. So the sun is a medium mass star. While magnetars are a highly
magnetic corpse of stars that are about 10 to 25 times the mass of the sun. And this is the thing about it,
why this is kind of a mystery. Like all they have are theories right now, right? I'm talking about the
white dwarves. I talk about the magnetars and all these different things. But these are all just
theories that in reality, they don't know what this is. The fact is that we had this radio signal,
this burst that's beaming from 4,000 light years away.
and it's happening every 18 minutes and 18 seconds.
So we can sit here in conjecture.
All we want about it is it a white dwarf, is it a this or that,
a dying star, it's a black hole.
We don't know.
But what we do know is that this is happening.
And that's why we wanted to bring it up today in our UAP alien update.
And it's almost like we tend to think we're the only living things in the universe.
You know, you have crop circles.
You have all kinds of weird things going on.
And we just kind of ignore it all.
We're like, what are you talking about?
We're the only living things in the universe.
universe, what do you mean? Well, that's why we're here to bring you everything you need to know
about aliens and UFOs and all these strange stories. And that's what we do. And that's what we're
going to do on Friday. So we hope that you enjoyed this first edition of the UAP alien
updates. We'll come back again next Tuesday with this edition of UAP. But on Friday, look out for
part two, our original podcast, part two of alien whistleblowers. That's going to be a fun.
When we have some real doozies. Oh, doosies. Oh, we got the doozies. Love it.
So enjoy that.
