Starting point is 00:00:00 Everybody talked about it since I first moved to Oregon. The big one, the earthquake that trashed the whole west coast, total destruction. Officially calling it the largest natural disaster in American history. I just didn't know what would help me next. So I took it all. Even the gun. It was time. Selo?
Starting point is 00:00:21 American Afterlife, presented by pair of thieves, the number one fiction and drama podcast in America. Listen wherever you get your favorite podcasts. Available now. Welcome in to this special minisode bonus episode here of UAP. Stephen Deiner back with you here on the Unidentified Alien Podcast for this quick little hit before the congressional hearings happen tomorrow. I'm actually just about to head out to the airport as we speak so I can fly from South Florida here to Washington, D.C. in just a little bit. But before I left for the airport, literally in like the next 20 minutes, I have to leave. But I really
Starting point is 00:01:10 wanted to come on here, I felt compelled to do this, to just do, like I said, quick little mini-so to get a few things off my chest that I think are kind of lingering in the air before we actually sit down and see these hearings happen tomorrow. Now, I could have done this very easily as some type of video on social media and put it up on Twitter or TikTok or YouTube, and I'll probably still do something along those lines. But I wanted to make this accessible to everybody. I know not everybody gets onto social media, which is completely fine. So, So I wanted to make this as accessible as possible, which is why I figured, you know what? Not everything I do has to be 45 minutes to an hour long, right?
Starting point is 00:01:49 So I figured let's do a little bonus episode here today, just a few minutes to kind of set the table for these little lingering things that are still on my mind before the hearing. One thing I wanted to get to, the really main thing on my mind here before I fly away in a little bit is the negativity that's surrounding this hearing before anything even happens. I want to read a tweet here, actually, from Ryan Graves, who just put this out a little while ago. And I really couldn't agree more with his assessment here. He wrote, of course, you know who Ryan Graves is. He was at the first hearing, and we all know his story. He goes, my hope for the UAP hearing tomorrow is that it promotes the importance of this topic to the new administration. There is currently much opportunity to build support for this topic and see real change.
Starting point is 00:02:38 And I retweeted that and wrote my little piece, which is kind of, of what inspired me just to jump on here real quick. Two pieces there that I find really, really important. The first one there about the administration, I'll get to last. I want to touch on the second part first, and that is the opportunity to continue to build momentum. And that takes me to what I was saying about all the negativity that surrounds this hearing before anybody even speaks. And maybe it's just the insulated bubble of UFO Twitter.
Starting point is 00:03:06 I mean, that could be, you know, there's unfortunately a lot of negativity. when it comes to this topic in the community, because a lot of people are jaded, right? We feel like we're going to be promised something big. We're going to get new information. We're going to see new videos, new evidence, whatever it might be. And then someone hears a story from, you know, a witness, and they say, well, where's the proof?
Starting point is 00:03:27 We need to see something. And then you hear the person say on the stand, well, I can show you in a skiff or I can't answer that question. And you will absolutely hear those things tomorrow. Absolutely. Especially, I'm sure, from Lou Elizondo, because he still has to take care of some clearances that he has. He's mentioned before.
Starting point is 00:03:42 He's only mentioned spoken about a small percentage of things that he can actually say in public. So there is no doubt in my mind that you are going to hear the sentences of, well, I can't talk to you about that because, you know, it's classified or we can talk about it in a skiff, different things like that. It's going to happen. But that doesn't mean you should be disappointed or negative, have negative feelings about this hearing before it even happens. My overall point here is today real quick is that we need to let this play out. There is an opportunity, like Ryan Graves said there in that tweet, which is why it really struck me,
Starting point is 00:04:15 there's an opportunity here for this to build momentum. And I take that a step further, and I say there's an opportunity for this to build momentum in the public sphere. Remember, I'm going into this personally, this hearing with the mindset of it's not really about us. It's about them. And what I mean by that is when I say us, I mean, those. Those of us who consume this topic, those of us who talk about it, those of us, UFO Twitter, UAP Twitter, right? Whatever you want to call it.
Starting point is 00:04:43 People who look into this topic and research it and listen to the shows or do the shows, it's not really about us. We aren't going to hear, we're going to hear stories made out of heard before, but we're not going to hear, I think anyway, shocking new details, right? Like, I don't think we're going to hear about a face-to-face meeting. that Tim Gallaudet had with a gray, for example, okay? So I don't think it's going to be anything that's extremely shocking, earth-shattering to us. They're going to talk about stories they may have heard before,
Starting point is 00:05:18 but it's going to have details that we've heard before. So that's why I think sometimes this community gets a little negative or a little pessimistic because the thought is, well, what are we going to hear differently? Where's the evidence? What are they going to show? What are they going to say I haven't heard already? And I understand that outlook. but again, it's not about us, it's about them.

Selection varies by location. And the them I'm talking about is the general public. I've said this many times before, and it feels like it's worth mentioning again. I call it the 6 o'clock news crowd, meaning everyday people, okay, who go about their lives,
Starting point is 00:08:30 work the 9 to 5, maybe they only catch a few minutes of the news, maybe they see a few things on TikTok or Instagram. They see some reels and that's, that's it. That's their consumption for the day. This is an opportunity. This hearing is an opportunity for them to hear things that they've never heard before. To see the clips that will be on the news. To see the clips that will inevitably go viral through Instagram reels and TikTok and
Starting point is 00:08:54 on Twitter. It's about, in my estimation, again, this is just my opinion here, but this is how I see it literally before I fly to D.C. here. in a little while. The way I see this is it's really more about them, the general public, who have not heard the details that we've heard over and over again, who have not heard about unidentified, submerged, submerged objects, transmedium aircraft, disappearing and reappearing craft over battleships and things like that.
Starting point is 00:09:22 They're going to hear different things, whether it's from Elizondo, whether it's from Gallaudet, or any of the other witnesses. They're going to hear new things that might be old had to us, but are going to spark their interest. And that's how you end up building the public momentum, which takes me to my second point in what Ryan Graves wrote there in the first part of his tweet about building momentum towards the new administration. Of course, that refers to the incoming Trump administration for his second term. This is really interesting from Tim Burchett. Of course, he's going to be at the hearing tomorrow. He's going to play a big role in it in his line of questioning. And he had this to say recently on
Starting point is 00:10:01 News Nation when he was talking about the upcoming hearing. We have an executive in the White House who trusts the American public with that information. And I believe Donald Trump is that person. I believe he's for disclosure. In my conversations with him and the people around him, I believe that that will come to pass. So that's a really big statement by Timber jet there. I mean, he's literally calling for disclosure. He's saying disclosure is going to happen under Trump.
Starting point is 00:10:28 Now, whether or not that happens, obviously, it's been a point of contention by a lot of people. will he be pro, will he be against? Now he has talked about for what it's worth disclosing like JFK files and things like that. So will that lead into, will that open the door for disclosure of the UAP files?
Starting point is 00:10:46 Timberchette seems to think so. And remember, Trump was briefed on these things. He's one of the few presidents to actually be briefed on a lot of these things. So you got to remember when it comes to that portion, we might actually have a chance, maybe I don't know we'll see again I know that's a controversial topic we'll see how it plays out
Starting point is 00:11:06 but Tim Burchett seems very confident so I thought that was at least worth playing there because he feels like from the conversations I mean he's spoken to him one-on-one and he says there you heard it from his conversations he feels like that is something we're going to get very intriguing and we'll see if that plays a role at all in the hearings right like from the tweet I wrote from or read from Ryan Graves where he said building momentum towards the new administration I think a comment like that from Tim Burchett really plays into that. And this last one I wanted to play actually comes from Mike Walts, the representative here in Florida, who just got tapped. It's worth noting who just got tapped to be the national security advisor.
Starting point is 00:11:44 This is what he had to say on the topic heading into the hearings tomorrow. UFOs, UAPs, wherever you want to call it. I think we need to take this incredibly seriously. So this is not a joke to a lot of these guys, and especially just someone like Nancy Mace, who will be the co-chair of this hearing. tomorrow. So my overall theme, my overall message here today on this mini so, this bonus episode pre-hearing, pre-flight, if you will, for me before I have to run to the airport. My overall message here is, let's wait. Let's try not to be negative. Let's try not to be pessimistic. Let's try to have a positive outlook on this before we judge anything that hasn't happened yet.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Let it play out. Let's see how the public reacts to it. Let's see how long it stays in the cycle. and hopefully we can build momentum from here in the public conversation, in the public sphere into the incoming administration that will hopefully help us see real movements toward disclosure and the end of the truth embargo, as we like to call it. So I just wanted to get that off my chest here today
Starting point is 00:12:49 on this little mini episode. Like I said, this could have been a Twitter video. I'm aware of that, but I wanted to make this accessible for everybody. I will keep you updated as much as I possibly can while I am in D.C. for this hearing, I do plan on being in there. I'm going to get there quite early to the Capitol building tomorrow morning so that way I can try to guarantee myself a spot to be in the hearing itself. So I'll keep you updated. I'll try to be live tweeting while I'm waiting and what I can say, what I can write as well, hopefully while I'm in the hearing too.

Starting point is 00:14:00 That is my outlook going into it. So again, let's try not to be negative or pessimistic about it. Let's play it out. Let's see how it goes. And hopefully it all goes well. And like I said, I'll keep you updated as much as I can. And hopefully I can get some interviews and things like that too. We'll see how that goes.
