And here we go.
Yes, welcome back into UAP for episode.
number 229.
Stephen Dean are back with you here, as always,
on the Unidentified Alien podcast.
And this time it is with our good friend here,
Congressman Eric Burleson,
exclusive interview with Eric.
His first long-form interview, I believe,
I don't think I'm wrong about this,
but his first long-form interview in quite some time.
And I was happy and honored
that he spent about 45 minutes with us here on UAP.
And we did that for you.
So hopefully you get something out of this new conversation.
new information, new tidbits and comments here covering the legacy program.
Even some things in there about the legacy program that shocked me.
And you may not be, I guess, happy with what is said there.
I don't know.
I'm curious to see the reaction there.
When we get into the legacy program portion of the show,
we talk about the UFO luring operations that were taking place presumably over white
sands in that area.
Somewhere in the southwestern United States didn't get a location.
didn't ask because I knew that was off the table.
But we talk about that operation, what's being said about it, what has been said about it.
We go into how this conversation is being handled within the current Trump administration in the White House, those around the president, those closest to him.
How seriously are they taking this?
All the different whistleblower movements, how seriously is that being taken?
There's a lot of really important stuff in here and some new comments, some new information that I'm looking for.
to getting out into the open.
We talk about David Grush,
his interview with Dr. Phil,
and what would Eric Burleson ask for?
What would he say to the president?
If he was sitting in front of him
and got that one-on-one meeting,
what would he say to him about the UAP subject?
Really interesting stuff.
Thank you again to Eric for spending so much time,
and now I'm going to present it to you.
Not a huge prologue here to start it off.
I want to get right in, set the table real quick,
and get right into this episode.
this exclusive long-form interview with Congressman Eric Burleson right here on UAP.
Enjoy.
Well, always special when we get to do this.
Happy to welcome back, Congressman Eric Burleson.
Eric, it's been a little while since I was able to bring you on here to UAP, so I'm happy to have you back.
Thanks for coming back on here.
Good to be back, Stephen.
You're really one of the most genuine, kind, and really diligent in this effort.
And so it's good to be back.
Good to see it.
Yeah, yeah, likewise.
Thank you.
I appreciate that.
Well, I guess we'll just jump right into the deep end here.
Hopefully I'm able to be kind here today.
I think I will be.
But there's so much that I want to get you here with today.
And obviously, your time is valuable.
So just going to go right into it.
There was a, I want to bring it up here because I don't want to misquote you.
There was a tweet that you had put out about two weeks ago.
It caught my eye and it caught a lot of people's eyes.
where you had written
our own agencies
went back
through every past
siting,
asked what draws
these things in,
then recreated
those conditions
on purpose at a
site with prior activity.
And I want to
underline that
because I want to come
back to that.
OD&I, CIA,
FBI,
and military intelligence
were all on site.
Something showed up.
Now,
this, of course,
is in a connection
to early reports
about military
working with FBI
and other agencies
as you put
in there to lure in UFOs, essentially a UFO luring operation and something showed up.
So can you elaborate on that?
Can you tell us about that operation, Eric?
And is it the only one?
No, I can't say anything.
No.
Okay.
So what all, so that event is actually well documented in the first two tranches.
And it's the two documents that most people just overlook.
but these to me are the best, most important documents.
I think I even brought that up on one of your previous podcasts,
is that people are missing this report.
And the reason is because if you're in the know and you're like,
I have been in these briefings, that event was significant.
And so, and I do think, like, I'm reflecting on my own comment there,
or a better way to put it is what my staff,
document and then tweets on my behalf is that it's probably what i would say it's not an accurate
reflection that to say that we have cracked the crack the secret code to to bringing in a ufo okay
that that's not i would say just well they they certainly are aware and are are um cognizant of
things that tend to, when you tend to see UFOs, what are the commonalities, what things
correlate with that. So, but I don't think anyone has like officially said, when you hit this
button, guaranteed you're going to have a UFO. And so I just want to make sure that that's
kind of out there. Gotcha. Yeah, fair enough. And so, I mean, is it safe to say based off
of what you learned, though that's
there is kind of
an admission through
action, meaning
if the military and three letter agencies
are working together
to try to lower
things in, now whether or not obviously they were
you know, they have it perfected.
Like you said, the fact that
or maybe, can I say fact,
or the, you know,
allegation maybe
that they have been doing
this is that
an admission through action.
Right. I think that they
I think there's an
admission that
that this that these events
happen, that there
was enough
there was enough recordings to take it
credibly and that they
they then sent people to investigate it.
And those very people
happen to see it firsthand.
So that
not only happened at that event,
but that has happened
in previous investigations by the FBI as well.
So in field investigations,
not on military bases,
but actually in just private communities,
this has happened.
So what I say is that UFOs have been cited,
they've been called, they come to take a look,
they come to investigate,
and the thing shows up right there for them
to be able to film and view themselves.
And so that along with hearing the information about that event that happened at the military base and seeing the footage and the videos of the of these kind of glowing orbs in other circumstances, putting those two together, it's brought me from a point of, you know, being a complete and total skeptic to say, look, there's something going on that we can.
cannot explain. Now, will I say that that's E.T. or like an alien from another planet? I can't
definitively say that. I don't know. I don't think anybody definitively knows. And that's the more
disturbing part is that whenever I talk to our intelligence officials about what are these glowing
orbs that operate intelligently that don't need like any kind of propellers or any kind of
you know, what you would call conventional flight means.
Yeah.
These things just hover statically and then can go instantaneous speeds.
And they can take right angle turns.
When I ask, like, what do our best scientists think that these things are?
And I get a blank stare, that's not good.
That's not good, right?
So, but for the longest time, I think that this government,
was afraid to admit that we didn't know what this stuff was.
Does that make sense?
Yeah.
It's like a glomar.
The term is like a glomar response,
which is that if we tell you we don't know what it is,
we're admitting a vulnerability to an adversary.
Right.
And I think that that is what, I think that that, personally,
that may be what we've been experiencing.
I think that the door, for me, the door is open to that,
that this is exactly what we've been experiencing.
I'm also, I think that it's important that we continue the investigation and look into
the historic archives and try to ascertain, was there a legacy program?
How much work and how much success has been done by previous administrations, previous
bureaucrats, whether they were with the FBI or CIA or whatnot, was there a legacy program?
I think that that work still needs to continue.
But to give you kind of an insight, what I'm hearing from people that are working on this topic is that they're not finding that.
That seems to be a more difficult job than finding the craft themselves is finding any kind of documentation that we've had a legacy program.
Wow.
That's interesting. Yeah, because obviously that's always one of the big claims is that,
the legacy program where all the reverse engineering has happened over however many years you want to put on it.
But you're saying that the people who are looking into it haven't found the actual documentation, the smoking gun document that would show them that there is some type of hidden legacy program where this person and that person, you know, where the gatekeepers of it, they haven't been able to find it.
Right.
And I think that where they're trying to get to, what appears to me is that the focus and the energy is really trying to get to these objects, get to the physical craft, you know, if and where do they exist.
And even if it and then also try to figure out how do we study the craft that have, that we're seeing over these military bases and over the, you know, residential skies.
Yeah, exactly.
because they are being seen, of course.
There's no doubt about that.
And then when they, you know, show up during these operations, like you said,
something is showing up, something is happening.
And you're getting briefed on it.
So it's not like this is just, you know, you know, fairy tales that are being told to kids
around a campfire by any means.
So with that said, just based off of maybe, I don't know, based off of your own fact finding,
Eric, can you say, do you think that the U.S. has recovered?
craft, maybe not taken down intentionally, or maybe you do want to talk on that, but at least
recovered craft with the intention of trying to reverse engineer it?
So 100% we have recovered craft with the intention of reverse engineering it.
I cannot say whether any of that craft is non-human intelligence.
Gotcha.
We absolutely have clearly programs in place.
And I think that you'd be shocked if we didn't have programs in place for recovering and reverse engineering our adversaries craft or our own, right?
If we have something that's super important and it goes down, we do not want our adversaries to get access to it.
Yeah.
Okay.
So just putting that.
The program exists.
Right.
Like Jake Barber.
Jake Barber absolutely.
What he has said, you know, and that, you know, being that he claims to have been a part of one of these programs or operations that did multiple operations actually picking up, picking up craft.
I think that we'd all be, I don't think you're giving away the farm to say that, yes, that clearly exists.
Okay.
The question is, you know, the latter part of what Jake said, which is two times he and is, he and is,
his team, they picked up something that was, you know, otherworldly.
I can't, I have yet to confirm that that's real.
And you've spoken to him, right?
You've spoken to Jake before?
Yeah, multiple times.
Okay.
What do you make of his, just your personal opinion?
What do you make?
Because I've never spoken to him.
I've always seen the interview.
So, I mean, what do you make in his story?
Jake is unbelievably an honest individual and probably too honest.
I think he, he, in many ways, there's a lot of things that he,
he probably would have been better for him to have just held back on if he wanted to be.
But because he is such a genuine and honest person, I think that he felt compelled to say.
So, for example, when he talked about having, feeling an emotional connection, having some kind of like, you know, I'm not going to put words in his mouth, but you know what I'm talking about.
When he spoke to that kind of the feelings that he felt, he felt love and that connection, right.
That's right. That, I think, I know that people advised him, don't bring that up because it just, it's, it distracts from the narrative. And he's, in his responses, look, it was real that I'm, I'm going to bring it up because that was what I experienced. And I, and so I'm just saying, just knowing his character, knowing who he is, he's a person that I trust.
Okay, yeah, fair enough.
And I mean, so, of course, that leads to the video, right, where we see that, I believe,
Ross Coldheart had put out with that original interview on News Nation that shows purportedly
picking up that egg-shaped craft, whatever it was, it looks like a giant egg.
I mean, I know you said you haven't seen definitive proof, but when you watch that and
you talk about Jake as a person and your read on his story and how he comes across, when you
see that and put that all together, do you.
What do you think we're looking at?
Every headline hides a deeper story.
Guilty on all 20 counts.
That is the verdict.

I mean, I don't know,
Stephen, until I
get,
get, and that's
what we're trying to track down.
Trying to find where did these things go
and where are they at currently.
So I think
that, I think Grush
and Jake knew where
these things were at some
point. I would
say that we don't definitively know where they are today because things are being moved.
So I'm glad you mentioned David Gresh, actually, because that is the name I wanted to bring up here.
He had a pretty revealing interview, and I brought this up with Jordan Flowers from the
Disclosure Foundation not too long ago here on the show.
And I want to bring it up to you as well, because David Gresh, I thought it was, I thought
actually not even, probably, it was the most revealing interview he's done so far with Dr.
Phil. And he spoke
very candidly about like, okay,
we've recovered, you know, at least
I forget the number. I think he said at least 10 different
craft. He said we've spoken to
or we've communicated
with extraterrestrials.
I'm sure you've seen those clips
and everything. So you see some of that.
You hear some of that. What is your reaction
when you hear him talking about those things?
It being so specific about the number of
craft, the number of bodies, and how
we've communicated with extraterrestrials.
Look, I mean, I think that we've got to get, I've got to get my hands on that on the same thing that David has seen and experienced.
That requires White House approval, right?
So a lot of what we're doing, and this was, when he said this, he's speaking Dr. Phil.
There's a level of personal connection with Donald Trump that Dr. Phil has that I don't even have, right?
So it appears that Dr. Phil has got an inside connection to the president.
And that's fantastic.
I want there to be reporters and people that are interested in this topic to get the attention of the president.
But at the end of the day, you've got to get the president's approval to be able to go in and see, read those, see those files, read the documents, see the craft for yourself.
That's going to take.
And when David said, you know, I can take you there.
I think that what the caveat of that statement had to be prefaced by assuming the president gives you that level of access and assuming the president has set this set this up.
And I was just about to ask that actually.
It's funny because there's been a lot made out of where did Dr. Phil come from in all this, right?
It kind of feels like it came out of the blue where Dr. Phil is now the UFO guy and he's talking about UFOs on his podcast.
and that's not a disparaging remark.
It was just one of those things that people kind of like were caught off guard by.
But I wonder if the answer is kind of what you're saying, if we can connect some dots here,
was he placed there?
He has that personal relationship with the president.
Him and President Trump have known each other for a long time.
So can we make the assumption?
You think it's out of the ballpark?
Do you think it's out of the realm of possibility to make the assumption that Dr. Phil is talking about these things
because the president trusts him
and has told him to go ahead
and kind of talk about some of the stuff
and bring it to the forefons?
He's certainly using his level of trust
and relationship with the president on this topic.
But I mean, I don't know that he was,
I don't know if he was asked
out of the blue to do this.
I think that he, this is a,
this is a hot topic and it interests
so many people.
So you would be surprised
how many
kind of celebrity type people reach out, even to me, the most boring guy from the Midwest,
to talk about this.
Very exciting.
You're a very exciting person, Eric.
They all want to talk to you.
Yeah.
I mean, obviously, I can't just let that hang there.
You can deny, that's fine.
But can you talk about any of the people that have reached out to you that we might be surprised?
I don't want to violate that.
Fair enough.
I have to ask.
I mean, it's low-hanging fruit, so I at least had to bring it up.
But I'm interested.
I kind of wonder myself.
Were you surprised?
It's like one of those moments where you're like,
how did this person get my number?
I never expected to hear from them.
Yeah, it's, well, they work through other people.
So it's like someone will reach out and say,
hey, this person wants to chat with you.
Can I share your number?
Right.
So, yeah, we're all in six degrees of separation.
Very cool. Okay, fair enough.
Speaking about kind of going back to the president's inner circle,
I know somebody that you have been speaking to along with other members of Congress is Stephen Miller.
And Stephen is, of course, one of the president's closest advisor, senior advisor to the president.
And he's kind of been tasked with this issue, right?
Now, I know the vice president, J.D. Vance, has spoken about it this openly saying that he's very interested in this topic.
And he hasn't gotten to dig into it yet.
But it seems like that mantle has been given to Stephen Miller.
So can you talk to us about what kind of conversations you've had with Stephen Miller and kind of where that's looking right now?
Yeah.
Stephen Miller is a bulldog.
Like, he really is a heads down.
This is a topic that he wants to get resolved.
I think that, I mean, I think he wants the craft to yesterday.
He wants it.
And I think he wants the president to roll it out live on national television.
So he's super into it.
Like he takes it seriously.
Super into it takes it seriously.
And he's very, you know, he's very thoughtful and kind of kind of the same way that I am.
Some views that views it with a somewhat skeptical tone, but also is driven, very, very driven to get to the bottom of this.
I think that the, I think there's a few things that are driving.
One is that there's that we have this shared feeling.
that we're just very frustrated with the deep state, right?
I mean, there's no president that's taken on the deep state
more than Donald Trump.
And so the notion that the deep state is holding back
from the president of the United States
is something that infuriates his administration.
I think that along with the fact that you've got these craft
that are operating with impunity
over our military installations.
And that is something that is driving the administration.
to figure out what's going on.
Right?
So I sit a level of urgency when it comes to this pursue effort.
And so, yeah, I think that they're focused on trying to get to the here and the now and the today
and probably less focused on the, or at least they bifurcated the investigation.
So they have other people that are working on the legacy, like trying to go back and see what's been going on historically.
I think there's a larger effort to track down what is in the here and the now.
Yeah, but it's really interesting to hear because that is something I've wondered myself,
which is why I ask it.
You know, how much, how seriously is it being taken?
Like, where does it fall on the plate of responsibilities for someone like Stephen Miller?
But it's encouraging.
It sounds like this is like really one of his main things to go after.
Am I right in saying that based off of what you're?
Yeah.
I think so.
I mean, this is one of his top priorities.
And it's the priority of OD&I.
It's a priority.
There's a healthy team now that's working on this, and that's good.
And I think that they can all keep each other honest as well.
So when you had just Arrow working on this, I think that you certainly had, it created an opportunity for someone to just to control the narrative.
Right.
And to not do anything.
But when you've got multiple people that are part of this investigation,
it basically makes an opportunity for people to keep each other honest.
Right, right.
And do you feel like he's running into stonewalling efforts?
I mean, I don't know if you've gotten any updates lately from his office or from him directly.
I mean, is there a sense of frustration like you're talking about?
They want the answers.
They want to figure out what's flying over our bases, what's flying over, you know, in our skies that we don't know what they are.
and apparently can just do whatever they want.
Yeah.
Is there a sense of frustration there that he's not getting answers quick enough?
Oh, I mean, knowing Stephen, I'm sure that he's frustrated that he didn't have the answer now.
Right.
Okay.
But because he moves fast and he's very aggressive and he's so I can't think of a better person to be tasked with this in the Trump administration.
Very good.
And that is good to know that he wants the answers, right?
because I think that's something that people wonder about is, okay, the people in charge,
do they even want to find out what's going on?
They talk about it.
They say that people are interested in it.
They're putting out government trenches, you know, five different trenches have come out so far as we're speaking here today.
I'm sure a sixth will come out as well.
So right, front facing, this is the most transparent administration has ever been on this topic.
If you think about if just one of these releases,
happened in this administration, it would have been the most, it would have been the biggest
bombshell in 80 years of people talking about this topic.
Right.
Wouldn't it?
Right?
Just one of these tranches.
And the fact that they're getting ready to come out with tranche number six, like this is,
it's unprecedented.
The level of videos and the willingness to be to basically open the kimono and be vulnerable
and tell the American people like, we don't really even know.
have the answers. We're going to let you decide. That is, that is a wonderful and refreshing
difference from what we're used to. Yeah, no, very true. It is. It's very different. It's something
that's, you know, I hate to say that we've gotten sports. People want that definitive answer, right?
Like, we're seeing things. We understand something's going on and now people want that
definitive answer, which my big takeaway here right now in this portion of what we're talking about
is that it doesn't seem like it's just lip service from the administration that you have someone
like Stephen Miller who actually does want the answers too. And it's not just, it's not playing
games. So that's good to hear. Yeah. Now on top of that, kind of sticking with the
administration portion of this, the UAP Advisory Council was also created, which is something that's new,
headed by Avi Loeb, but with the likes of Tim Galadette and others on this board.
What are you hearing about that?
Eric, I know Avi has come out and said that they're going to have their first meeting.
What are you hearing kind of behind the scenes?
They did have first meeting.
They did.
They've had multiple meetings.
They've had multiple meetings over Zoom and virtual meetings.
They just had a in-person meeting in D.C. at the beginning of this week.
So and that that meeting concluded it was more of a from what I I gather it's it was more
like a pro forma you know kind of formal they they had a meeting with Stephen Miller and
that the administration and the people that are working on on pursue so that was I'm glad to
hear that that that happened that that meeting occurred in person I would hope that
they're getting the data that they need.
So I think that there's a few things that I, and look, I mean, I would probably, if it were my,
if it were my team, I would probably stack it with more theoretical physicists myself.
Okay.
I think that that's, that's greatly needed.
And I think they need some young, young minds.
So like, what I mean is by that is that we have some.
We had some brilliant people involved in this topic,
Howe put off Eric Davis in the past.
We need the new Howe putoffs and the new Eric Davis is to step up
and lend their efforts to this.
We need some, you know, Eric Weinsteins, right?
So we need some people like that to step up.
And I don't think that the team has, from what I've gathered,
I think they have one or somebody like that, but I think that they need to stack that team with a lot of theoretical business who are willing to challenge each other and propose while, you know, sometimes solutions that may, other people may think is nutty.
But that's the kind of thinking that we need right now to understand what we're experiencing.
What are you hoping happens from this as far as the advisory board is concerned?
And what would you be satisfied with when they come out with different findings or advice toward the president?
Yeah, I think that they need to have access to all of the data.
So they need to be given, you know, unmitigated, unfiltered access to the data so that they can do their work.
And then come up with theoretical theories on or they come up with theories on what it is that we're experiencing.
what these glowing orbs are, what a triangle craft is that we often get reports of, right?
So that's it.
And there was some of that work that was done.
But I think that, you know, if we have some fresh eyes, some new people with up-to-date data, I think that that will be helpful.
Are you getting new reports, Eric?
Are you having people coming to you still saying, hey, this is how?
happening, that's happening. I mean, I know you guys just came back from recess, but I mean, as far as
any briefings and things like that, are you coming across new things that are making you scratch your
head? I think so since Trump has come out with the memo or the statement that he'll waive
NDAs and people can have a formal process of coming forward, we got a little bit of pushback from
some whistleblowers who said, you know, I don't know that that's enough protection. So what we did,
in our office is creative mechanisms for people to come forward, a formal mechanism. And I'll
get that link to you so you can share it if you like. Yeah. It's you just go to my off my formal
website, my representative website, and you'll see that you can click the link there. But.
Good. And the process that this is the difference between the past and today when it comes to
that process. When I talk to the administration and they say,
and I say, look, guys, there's still a level of uncomfortable.
People feel uncomfortable.
Can they come through me and can I be a part?
Can I join them when they meet with you guys?
And can they bring their attorney?
Can I bring an attorney for these discussions?
And their response is absolutely.
Like we want nothing to hold an individual back from feeling safe
and being willing to come forward.
And that is a very, very genuine take.
And I think that that should give anyone that wants to say what they want to say a level of comfort to know that you can come to Eric Burlinson's office or Tim Burchett or Anna Plina Luna or any member of Congress's office that you trust.
And that we can then connect you to an attorney if you do not have one.
there's a lot of different groups that are willing to provide those that that legal counsel yeah
and then and then we we can decide if and when and who we're going to go to right so if you just
want to talk to me and give me tips on what to subpoena who to subpoena what to what to send
interrogatives and send letters for that's fantastic you can rename you can remain you can remain
anonymous, that's a fantastic level. And that's something that some people do today. And that's
been very helpful for us. If you want to go further and you want to speak directly to the FBI or ODNI or
Stephen Miller himself, that's the kind of thing that we can Sherpa you through that process, right?
and make sure that you're not mistreated,
that we have all the fail safes in place to make sure that you don't receive any kind of retaliation,
et cetera.
Yeah, that's huge.
Honestly, that's huge that you're doing that and your colleagues are doing that.
Because before, you know, it was just kind of, hey, go talk to Arrow.
And then, well, we know how that's gone in the past.
On a July morning in 1991, Detective Mike King's life changed forever.
I don't think I'll ever forget that first moment when I saw her.
A young woman made a startling confession.
She'd recently been a member of a cult.
I had to consider the fact that her involvement meant that she could actually be one of the predators.
Gardens of Evil inside the Zion Society cult is the fifth season of the award-winning series American Nightmares.

Hey, guys, we'll get back to that in just a second.
But I wanted to kind of continue something here that I've been talking to you about now for a little while.
and that is my experience is with Shopify.
You know, when you go to start a business,
the worst thing is, the hardest part is trying to figure out where to begin.
You have this idea, but how do you make that come to life?
Here's the great thing with Shopify.
Everything you need is right there ready for you from day one.
So that way all those jitters about, well, what's my first step?
Shopify has step one all set up for you.
Because they have all the tools, the design,
everything that you need to launch and even take payments already there for you.
without having to worry about setting all that up in the back end.
You have the big idea for your business or product that you really believe in,
but you're just overwhelmed on how to get started.
Well, Shopify takes that part out for you.
So that way, the only thing you have to focus on is the idea itself.
When it comes to designing and actually launching your store,
Shopify's templates and AI tools are right there for you to start.
You get a stunning site up and running, fast, and no coding needed.
And when you see your store looking legit, you get that feeling of satisfaction and relief.
I think you realize how easy it was with Shopify.
And sometimes the hardest thing this setup is checkout.
Well, Shopify checkout means more customers actually buy.
And returning ones can do it in a single click.
And when starting something new, I always have questions.
But Shopify's built-in AI assistant, their sidekick is ready to help you either build,
troubleshoot, or keep moving.
That way you don't get stuck in the mud and give up.
Bottom line is, guys, Shopify powers millions of businesses worldwide from household names
like Mattel and Jim Shark to small businesses just getting started.
So in the end, all you need is the idea and Shopify handles the rest.
So here's what to do.

You have not been able, correct me from wrong,
you have not been able to have a one-on-one or at least a group talk with the president yet.
Am I right about that?
No, I'm not.
Okay. So with that said, I'm curious if you got that opportunity, I'm sure you're, you are pursuing that opportunity. So if and when you do get that opportunity, what's something that you would specifically want to bring up to him about this in order, you know, you have two minutes to talk to him about this subject. What would you want to say to him that would have the most impact to try to move this forward with him?
Well, first I would thank him. The first thing I would do is say thank you. Like you, you have done more for transparency and disclosure than you.
any president in history.
Right.
And the second thing I would say is like, Mr. President,
the archives are there.
They need to be scrubbed.
They need to be, we need to scan the CIA,
the warehouses of CIA documents for not only,
not only this topic,
but then be able to get information and be able to on a lot of mysteries that we have,
right?
Whether it's MK Ultra, what happened with JFK,
We know that there are warehouses of documents that are that are not digitized.
They're not tagged.
And that this is the this is probably one of the most difficult efforts is figuring out what's in those archives.
Because you literally, it's like the Indiana Jones warehouses that you have to,
these are like basically boxes that are that are that contain some fantastic information,
but no one knows because we don't.
have any computer system or anything that knows what's in this.
Wow. So that's...
And it's by design.
Right.
They do that by design.
They don't want it to be easy to get access to these records.
But I think it's, I think that we need to.
I think that we need to find a system that's safe, secure, that can digitize all of this information.
And I mean, and it's not unheard of to go through that that much of a voice.
volume of documents. Hospitals, when I worked in software for hospitals, you would scan
thousands of pages a minute, right? You have systems that could do this kind of thing.
And so it's just like you said, Indiana Jones, you know, stash it away in a warehouse
somewhere and people will forget about it or not even know that it exists. But those places
do exist where these secrets just sit in unmarked boxes. That's right. Wow. I think you would be
very interested in that. And I
do you know if he's aware?
And I say this
it might be controversial,
but there have been people who have confirmed. And in fact,
Lou Elizondo was on here a few
months back and I asked him and he he confirmed
it that former
vice president, Dick Cheney,
the late Dick Cheney, was one of the
gatekeepers to this secret.
We talk about a legacy program.
Oh, yeah. Lou confirmed that?
He did. Yeah. I actually asked
him on the show and I was shocked to actually getting
confirmation from him.
I need to go back in the archives. He may have said it
directly or he alluded to the answer
yes because we know how guarded he is
but it was
essentially a yes.
Do you think the president is aware of that?
And I ask that because
I know his history isn't great with
the Cheney name and I wonder
if he knew that
the late Dick Cheney was
one of the gatekeepers on this, like
the main guys, if he would be more
motivated to go after and find the secrets.
based off of his history with the family?
I don't know.
I don't know what he knows.
I have heard
from people that this is not his favorite
topic. He doesn't obsess about this.
But he also
very much doesn't
trust the deep state. So
we have, I think the reason why we have
had so much success
because we have a president
that is probably in the vein of
JFK and that
of a level of distrust.
of the intelligence community in the deep state.
And he has every right to be because they basically tried to bury it.
They did everything they could to stop him from becoming president and remove them from being president and stop him from coming back.
Right. Yeah, that's fair.
So outside of that, Eric, you know, I look back at the past year.
And I look at the date here.
And I see, I realize that it's been just about a year since the last hearing.
and I look back on that sitting there watching that happen in the moment.
Dylan Borland is in front of me and Jeff Nusatelli is in front of me and George Knapp
and the others that were sitting there that day.
How do you look back on that now just about a year ago on that hearing and kind of perspective
now what do you take away?
And that was of course when you play the famous now Hellfire Missile video that, you know,
purportedly shows it bouncing off a craft as the craft continues to go.
So looking back on that now, about a year removed,
what are your reflections on that?
And how do you connect it to where we are now about a year later?
You know, I think that moved the needle and really kind of solidified that
that we,
that there are plenty of intelligent, credible people
who have nothing to gain and everything to lose that are willing to
speak out about this and tell their story and tell their narrative.
And from that, to me, it became clear, we don't need to continue having these.
I think we definitively have heard from enough credible people.
From there, I think it pivoted.
The investigation has pivoted to getting the receipts.
So I believe Chief Wiggins, when he says that he's what,
he saw. Absolutely. From there, I now think that we need to get the craft. We need to actually
get our hands on it. We need to get better capture, better footage, better photos. We need to get
better evidence. If that makes sense. Does that make sense? I think that there's, you know,
the totality of the people that are talking about this, especially considering their level of credibility
is, I think, has reached, has reached the tipping point.
Right.
Yeah.
And it's interesting because, and I totally get what you're saying about, okay, we've heard
what we needed to hear.
Now let's go get this stuff.
And I mean, I think a lot of people would be happy to hear, you know, they basically
call to action, right?
From there, though, I...
And then I got some people that are freaking out that they'll text me or call me or write
me that you know we can't take one of these down we'll start an intergalactic war whatever um i i
think that uh at the end of the day we need more data we we cannot have craft violating military airspace
with impunity and continue to do that so we we need to do we need to at least capture or um whether
it's through photos or video footage, I mean, shoot, LIDAR, I don't care what kind of imaging that we have, get as much data on what these things are as possible.
Yeah. And if we go by, you know, just talking about earlier with David Grush, what he said about, we have multiple craft already recovered, then we basically just need to go see him. Like you see.
Yes.
When we talk about any future hearings, you know, just kind of in that vein, I know, we kind of just said, you know, we've gotten.
Well, let me answer that question.
Yeah.
It's going to be very, very difficult, if not nearly impossible to have a hearing in this Congress.
We just, I literally just walked out of my chief of staff's office.
And we were, he got a text message that we are having our third.
So we were supposed to be in Congress in session three weeks in September leading up to the October recess before the election.
and they just canceled the third week of September.
Oh, wow.
So at the end of the day, we're running into the midterm elections.
Congress, you know, this Congress is very, very hesitant to do anything leading into an election.
So we have literally no time.
There's no days on the calendar to do a hearing.
All of those opportunities have evaporated.
So it's probably, it would have to be in a lame duck period between November and December or mid-November and January.
And so, yeah, I mean, there's some names that we are exploring.
And I don't want to say those names.
But what we're trying to do is either get people in that have, that have direct knowledge of the legacy program,
were in the legacy program
or had direct contact
with UFOs. And I don't mean
that they saw it. I mean that they were in
it. That's who
I want to talk. That's who I want to come
in the next hearing
if we're going to have a hearing.
So people that can bring
the receipts with them
to the hearing, if that makes sense.
I don't, I think
as I said before, I don't
think it's fruitful to have a hearing
of people that further
There are more people that say, I saw this from a distance, that kind of thing.
I think that we really need to hear from the people that were part of the legacy program,
given that Trump has offered for these people to have their NDAs waived.
I think that there's some opportunities there.
We may have to have some hostile subpoenas to compel people to come forward,
but we'll kind of cross that bridge when we get there.
Yeah, there's a lot there.
Actually, so mainly you answered the question.
And the other thing that before I finish is that I'm kind of interested in doing
is bringing people forward that have conflicting statements.
So, right, so you've got people that have said, this agency knows, has crap and knows everything about it.
And then other people who say, no, I was in that agency.
We don't know anything about it.
So I kind of want to bring people that are, that have different.
that are at the epicenter of this forward and see who's telling the truth.
So that's that is another intriguing option as well.
Does that make sense?
Yeah, literally putting them on the stand, right?
Because two people that are basically pointing the finger at each other saying,
that guy's lying.
Let's bring them both forward and see who's telling the truth.
Right.
Smart.
And that would be very, very intriguing to see.
And so my main question there was basically what you just answered.
Like what would you be going after?
what would be the goal of the type of witness
you would want to bring in in future hearings.
Do you see this?
And I guess, you know, not to get political, of course,
because you know that that's not the theme of the show here.
But I'm just curious if there was a Democratic-controlled house
after the midterms,
do you see this still being something that a Democrat-controlled house pursues
or does it go away?
No, I, you know, Stephen, if the moment,
If we lose the midterms, this is over.
Really?
Yeah.
I don't see.
So it's over for a couple of reasons.
One is that the White House, the president, his team, Stephen Miller won't be working on trying to get to UAPs when they're being attacked.
When they are having to, when they're being subpoenaed left and right.
They will not have any time and they won't be working on this.
And then further, the Democrats will be spending every.
every minute of oversight will be investigating the Trump administration.
Wow.
Wow.
Well, I guess we'll see what the future holds.
That would be very sad.
And there would be a lot of disappointed people out there that this would fall by the wayside, you know, for at least the next couple of years, the next few years, if that is the case.
Yeah.
I mean, and even like, and look, I'm not trying to say this like, say, you have to vote Republicans.
Sure, sure.
I'm just giving you the reality here.
I mean, the truth is that given the dynamics that this administration will go into immediate lockdown with a, if the Democrats take the majority.
Wow.
Well, we'll see what happens.
Hopefully things continue to move forward.
I guess we can just say that.
I know it's just a few more minutes here.
Do you still have a little bit more time?
How much can I push you here?
I need to get to a lunch meeting, but got about five more minutes.
Perfect.
Perfect.
So on that note then.
When it, just, you know, just kind of thinking about all those things with hearings and witnesses,
thinking about some of the other things that are being spoken about with a direct call to action.
I really wanted to bring that up here before we were done.
James Fox, who we were at the press conference that was done back in June with David Grush.
And you were there.
And, of course, other congressional members, Burchett and Luna and so on and so forth, Moskowitz.
he had put together videos featuring you and Jeff Nusateli and others kind of giving that call to action.
Do I call to action to the president?
Let us come forward.
Let us come talk to you.
We want to do this.
How do you see that going?
Is it being heard by the administration and the office?
Right.
Well, I think, and that as we were doing that leading up to that press conference, the administration was making steps in that direction already.
So that was fantastic.
and we saw that when the White House came out with their memorandum.
At least it gave a lot more comfort.
And then following up on that, the conversations that we've had
where they've been very open to letting people come through my office
and other people's office was, I think, is really the game changer.
What I think is that the thing that really needs to happen
is what we said in that press conference is that the people that have all,
already come forward bravely, patriotically, they need to be restored.
So the pensions that they lost, the health benefits that they no longer have, the, you know,
all of those things, their clearances that were all flagged and now they can't work in that
kind of security setting, that needs to be restored.
because if you don't restore that,
you're sending a message to everyone else
that sure you can come forward
and sure we'll tell you that we're going to waive your NDA
but on the back end,
if we find anything at all
that we,
if we found that you tied your shoelaces wrong,
we're going to mark you up
and you're going to lose your clearance.
Right? Because that's literally what happened
to Grush and these other guys.
You can make a criminal
out of anybody.
What's the phrase?
Show me the man and I'll show you the crime.
And I'm not saying these people are not criminals.
I'm saying you have a convoluted system in a system of rules
and you can find anybody who, if you're looking hard enough,
you can find a place where somebody didn't do everything perfectly.
And that is what they have admitted to me happened to David Grush.
And so now they need to fix it.
Now they need to go back in, correct the record, restore clearances, restore the benefits that were lost, and make it right by these people who did everything they could to try to come forward patriotically and correctly using the proper channels, but we're still punished for it.
They need to make it right.
And that's what we're really trying to press on.
And that press conference was about was saying, look, Mr. President, you have an opportunity.
make it right to the people that did come forward and then also make create that framework so that
people can feel safe to come forward in the future do you feel like that's being heard so far
yeah it is they they know exactly and and um it's just a hope it's a matter of time before we get
before we get i think some kind of resolution there very good eric burleson
thank you so much for coming on here and doing this and spending all this time it really does
mean a lot. I really appreciate that.
And hopefully we'll keep up and we can do this again in the future.
Absolutely. Eric Burleson, thanks so much.
You do a great job, Stephen, and keep up the great work.
And so I'm a listener to your podcast and enjoy it.
Thanks. Thanks so much, Eric. We'll talk again soon here on UAP.
Thanks.
And there we have it.
Thank you again to Congressman Eric Burleson for spending all that time.
It was really, it was an honor. Like I said at the start, it was an honor to have him here for so long on UAP.
And I'm happy and honored that I could bring that to you.
I know, you know, it's hard to get these long-form interviews with those in Congress.
The schedules are very busy.
Eric was super generous with his time.
So thank you again so much, Eric, and to his staff, Nate Lucas, everybody involved there,
for helping me set this up and for being so open to allow that long-ranging interview there.
So I can bring that to you here on UAP today.
That really means a lot that I'm able to do that for you because you don't see it a lot.
lot and you don't you don't hear it a lot so I'm happy that I can do it for you here on the
uap podcast that said there's a lot there as you've heard I'm sure there's a lot that you
were reacting to a lot that you were trying to take in as we were going through it I do have
well a lot of notes I'm sorry to be you know repeating myself there but that there is there is
a plethora of things a numerous amount of notes that I wanted to take on this and
touch on. So what I decided to do here because it's too consequential. It's, it's too important for me
to just kind of skim through some of the main points like I do after an interview. I know I like to go
over some of the main points, some of the things that stuck out to me for a few minutes after an
interview. I want to do something different here after this one. I'm actually going to do a recap episode.
I've only done a full recap episode based off of an interview maybe two or three times.
I think it did it once with Michael Herrera. I've done it, I think maybe once with Anthony Williams.
and I want to do it here for this one
because there is just so much to touch on there.
In my opinion, there was a lot that stuck with me
because we actually recorded that interview
before Labor Day weekend.
It was on Friday.
I want to see it was a Friday.
Yeah, Friday morning right before Labor Day weekend hit.
So it was like one of the last things
on Eric's schedule before the long holiday weekend.
And so there was a lot in there that I had in my mind over the weekend
that was kind of marinating.
And I thought to myself over the weekend,
how am I going to approach this?
There's so much I want to touch on.
And then it kind of came to me.
I need to do like a separate episode just to talk about this and kind of react and touch on all the things that we spoke about there.
Because it is, I think, very consequential when it comes to the whistleblower programs, when it comes to what they're trying to do behind the scenes of people coming to Eric, what is happening behind the scenes with Stephen Miller, all these different things, right?
Saying that, you know, the legacy program that they haven't found proof of the legacy program, I thought that was.
quite jarring and I thought that was one of the things I said at the beginning that maybe some
of you wouldn't like to hear but I thought it was one of the more impactful things to the
conversation that Eric said because it was shocking to me now does that mean it doesn't exist
of course not it just to me it means just being hidden very very well or the people who are
looking into it maybe don't want to find the answers I don't know but like I said there is there's a
huge amount to touch on here from this interview so I'm going to do a full recap episode
coming up here in just a couple of days.
I'm going to take some more notes,
click my thoughts on it.
Now we'll sit down here together
and recap a lot of this.
I think this one, like I said,
don't do it a lot.
I've only done it a couple of other times.
This one is absolutely worth it
to have that separate recap episodes.
I'm going to do that here this week
to fully react to everything
that we heard here
and kind of line it up
and talk about what it all means going forward.
So look forward to that.
And then, of course,
so much more coming up on UAP in the future,
but really happy I could get this one
here today and hopefully it helps to further this conversation even more as we continue to push
towards that ultimate day of disclosure and having people come out and finally be able to say their
peace and talk about what they've gone through fully to the American public without having to hide
any more behind the shadows and even those who have already come out and still have to hide
so many of their lives and so many of their stories trying to get it all out there and hopefully
this helped. So with that,
said, thank you so much again to Eric, to the staff, and to you for coming in here and listening
and for taking part in this. And it is my honor to do it. So now, all that said, make sure you
continue to follow up with the show, wherever you get it on your podcasting platforms, all the major
ones to search UAP podcast. Also on YouTube, search UAP podcast, and throughout all social media
at UA Podcast 850 to follow along and get all the latest updates and what's going on and what's on
my little mind. So you can hear in real time what's what's going on.
there. And lastly, if you have any messages you want to send my way, you can do that through social
media or through email, S-D-N-R-U-A-P at g-mail.com, S-D-I-E-N-R-U-A-P at g-mail. On that note,
wow, it was a big one today. Can't wait to come back and talk about it more. So thank you all
again for everything and for all of the support. It really does mean everything to me, so thank you.
So until next time, it's Stephen Deener here saying be well.
Thanks so much. Talk again soon right here on UAP, the Unidentified Alien Podcast.
