Yes, welcome back into UAP.
Stephen Dean are back with me here, as always,
on the Unidentified Alien Podcast.
This time for episode number 233.
And for this one, we are going to shift back towards the interview format
because, of course, I'm going back and forth a little bit
with the cold case files and some of the interviews that I do.
And this time, we're going to go back towards the interview style
because we're talking with someone whose name is Jace.
Now, we're only using first name because Jace is.
He's just a normal everyday American and a guy who doesn't want his last name out there for different reasons and asked if it would be possible if we only go by his first name.
I said, yes, of course, no problem at all.
And he wanted to come on here to the show to talk about his experiences.
After I asked him about it, quite frankly, this was never a plan of his to be on the show to talk about his life.
You'll hear us kind of go into his backstory.
but when he started telling me his story through email,
I thought this is something that people need to hear.
And after much deliberation,
Jace decided to go ahead and come out to the public
for the first time in his entire life
regarding his lifelong encounters with the UFO phenomenon.
You're going to hear it all.
It runs the gamut of things that we've heard in the past.
It starts with childhood.
It goes through close encounters with beings.
possible abductions, possible implants, possible run-ins with the men in black.
I mean, there is so much here that would sound familiar from other experiencers.
But to hear it coming from somebody who is just a normal everyday guy that I'm sure, you know,
friends and family would never think that he had experiences like this,
the things that he's lived through.
But you're going to hear it all here for the first time ever.
This experiencer named Jace tells his story and he does it right here on you.
AP. And this will be broken up into two parts with part one today going into his childhood and into his
teenage years into his early adult years. And then we'll come back for part two to finish things
off and how things are looking present day for Jace. And also talking about some of the things that
he's seen in his career as well. So all of it is discussed in parts one and two right now, part one
of this exclusive sit down with a new experiencer named Jace.
Well, I'm excited for this.
I want to welcome in an experiencer here today.
And I'm excited because, as you know, if you listen to the show in the past,
what I like to try to do when the opportunity presents itself
is to have on real life everyday people like you and I.
It's great to have on the congressman.
It's great to have on, you know, the whistleblowers and the firsthand witnesses and things like
But it's always also great to talk to the experiencers, the everyday people like you and I who have gone through encounters that cannot be explained.
And quite frankly, that you never have heard about before in your entire life because these aren't people who have come on to the news and done interviews with anybody or really any other podcasts to do interviews with anybody.
And I'm glad that we have that opportunity here today.
only using first name today for obviously reasons of security for them.
Jace, welcoming you on here to UAP today.
Thank you so much for coming on, and I'm happy to have you.
Well, thank you very much.
I'm happy to be here.
It's a little weird kind of talking about it publicly.
I've always spoken about my past with a few people.
So I just have been a, you know, kind of a lurker on your podcast,
and I felt, you know, comfortable enough to talk today.
Yeah, and I appreciate that. Thank you. I'm glad you've, first off, I'm glad that you've enjoyed the show over the time. And thank you for feeling comfortable enough to reach out. And I will start there. I guess just a little backstory about how this came about. I got an email from Jace, just like anybody else. You know, you always hear me say at the end of an episode, feel free to send me any messages. And I mean that. I take that to heart where I do get around to checking all the messages and writing back at some point. And I did that with Jace. And he took a leap of faith.
and sent me his story.
I found it incredibly fascinating and compelling.
And I thought, I think I would actually like to have you on this.
I want to let's make this a little bit more than just, you know,
hey, really interesting story.
Thanks for telling me about your life.
Like, let's bring this to people if you're comfortable with it.
And you and I have been emailing over the past few months, actually.
So this wasn't just like something willy-nilly.
And it got to the point where you did say, okay, yeah, you know what?
I think I would like to do that.
So I'll start there, Jase.
Number one, why did you feel like you were ready to take that leap of faith and tell me anybody,
your story, just ended up being me?
And then why did you end up feeling comfortable enough now after all this time to speak about it for the first time in public?
Right.
And I actually kind of wrestled with that.
What's the best answer for that, really?
So I've been interested in really since my experience is my early life.
listening people's stories, reading their stories, watching their stories.
But I really don't, I can't really answer that.
I was really, the best way I can describe that would be the answer for that anyway,
is I've spoken to a few of my friends that were really skeptical of things, really their whole life,
even paranormal or UAPs, aliens, you know.
And a few of them actually were like, you know what?
I shared my experiences with them, and those are my experiences.
I can't speak for your experience in your life.
But one of them says, she's like, you know, I kind of think that there's something to this.
I know you as a genuine person.
I've known almost my entire life.
And she said, you've definitely changed.
She knew me before what I dealt with early in the 90s, and then obviously after.
And it got me thinking, you know, maybe someone else is feeling,
weird like I am or partially
unaccepted by society
and you feel like there's this deep, dark secret that you want to tell
but are you going to get lambasted for it?
And then listening, I came across your podcast and I
and you just, you sounded genuine.
You have some people on your podcast that just,
they probably felt the same way I did.
And so essentially that leap of faith was, you know,
I'm going to speak to somebody who has an audience of
like-minded folks. I'm sure there's,
skeptics out there that are listening to it.
But to
be the most truthful person to
my own self, I felt like it's time
to talk about it. Very cool.
Yeah, and I appreciate that answer.
It's long-winded, but... No, no, that's
the best way I can describe it. Absolutely.
No, by all means.
And before we get into
that story, like you said, it begins in the early 90s.
Before we get into your experiences,
just so everybody can kind
of get a feel for where you're coming from.
What is your background?
if you don't mind, Jace.
What is your background as far as work,
as far as any military backgrounds,
aviation background,
just so people can kind of get a feel for,
for, you know,
your point of view on these things?
Sure.
So my,
I have a pretty, pretty deep background
in a government contracting.
I worked for military and law enforcement agencies
really around the world.
I worked for a government contractor.
And so I would visit,
you could call them black sites if you want.
They just were sites.
But some places that people have heard about, seen about, read about, I've been to those places.
We did a lot of audio video technology for evidence systems, cameras systems, surveillance systems, covert border patrol systems.
And I've seen some things that I want to say I couldn't explain some things I really couldn't explain.
But as everybody's heard, you know, the mantra, there's more out there.
the truth is out there, as it were.
There's a lot of things that we just, we can't comprehend.
The general public just doesn't want to comprehend maybe.
So that's my background.
High-end technology.
Okay.
Yeah.
I mean, hey, look, that's pretty reputable if you ask me.
I mean, the fact that you were involved with, you know, government contracting,
you've been on the sites, so to speak.
I do want to ask you more about that for sure as we go along.
But I'll save that.
I want to get into your story here.
So take us into where it begins.
I believe in 1990, 1991.
How old were you?
And how did this all start for you?
Yeah.
So back in 1999, 1991, that general time frame was somewhat pivotal in my life for all these reasons now.
But I was a standard kid.
I was, you know, eight, nine years old.
and living in a southern Indiana.
I can give that that description out a little bit.
But typical Midwest, I grew up in a somewhat really an affluent area.
And there wasn't a lot of traffic, it wasn't a lot of light pollution.
There still isn't even to this day.
There was a little village.
And I was playing with my friends in our gated community.
and really the first thing I really remembered was really seeing.
Some of the Mufon folks later on would tell me there was probably more to it,
but I can't speak to that because I don't remember it.
But I was fishing down by our lake and just by myself just hanging out.
There's about 20 houses or so on this lake.
It's a pretty sizable lake.
And I look off to my left and I still remember very clearly to this day,
there was this grayish looking skinny creature.
And I wouldn't necessarily say like what people call the grays.
It didn't seem like that to me.
It still doesn't.
But there was this grayish creature standing.
And as soon as I looked to my left, it kind of poked behind a tree.
I was able to see almost the entire silhouette of the creature.
And it was daylight outside.
It was definitely grayish.
It was kind of somewhat wrinkly, but not a lot.
And it tried hiding.
and I wasn't scared.
It was kind of spooked me.
I was used to seeing wildlife.
We had deer and, you know, all kinds of wildlife in our area.
It was heavily forested.
And I just kind of got spooked.
Like this wasn't right.
Something wasn't right about the air.
So it was spooky.
And so I kind of try to keep an eye on it.
You could see it kind of like just a little bit behind the tree.
And it wasn't really moving at this point.
And I started backing up.
and we lived, I had to go back uphill.
I was not clumsy normally, but I was definitely clumsy backing up that hill that day.
Sure.
And that was summerish time.
It was kind of like beginning autumn, late summer.
Again, in the Midwest, those seasons kind of blend together quite a bit.
That was the first thing I really ever remembered.
Wow.
I remember to this day.
On that note, two things come to mind.
The first thing I want to ask is just more, if you can remember or if you caught it, the description of the creature that you saw.
Do you remember approximately how tall maybe it was?
Are we talking four to five, eight to nine feet?
Yeah, it's funny because when I watch shows nowadays and I see like the pictures of aliens like Grace or whatever, that's the one that comes to mind, most people's mind, I suppose.
Yeah.
But it was not that.
it was taller and I'm 5-9 now I was shorter back then sure but it was taller than me and I would I would venture to
say because that tree that it was staying there is still there to this day I live near that community
still and I can I can now see that branch that it was standing under and so I would say it was
probably about five feet five and a half feet tall okay so average size as far as like
average human size, I guess, somewhere between five and six feet.
Absolutely.
Okay.
Absolutely.
Just really spindly.
Okay.
So is it possible, did it have any human characteristics to it?
As far as, you know, obviously, you know, two arms, two legs.
But was there anything that would make you think that you're looking at a human?
Absolutely not.
Definitely not.
And really, me and there was probably four or five other kids, or even at the,
not including adults would never go in those woods but uh they weren't like spooky woods
they're just your normal normal forest but people didn't really go in there and there's no hunting
allowed in that village there wouldn't have been a hunter it's a gated community so there's
very limited access uh so really no and it was definitely taller than any friends of mine that
i had and it definitely wasn't wearing any clothes so uh i would say absolutely not it had to be
something that i can't explain i'm not saying it was an alien
I'm not I don't want to go surmising something like that but it was something it was alien to me. Wow and I asked these questions just for of course, you know, being thorough and to address anything that someone else might say and be like oh well he just saw this or he just saw that but he doesn't get it because he was just a kid. So I try to address some of those things to be as thorough as we can. So just I don't want to do you think I'm doubting you or questioning your story. So it doesn't come across that way. But when we when we do we?
talk about again this creature. Those are good questions.
Yeah, no, I appreciate it.
I tried my best to get some of those
things out there.
Did it have anything that would resemble
an animal standing on two legs?
Were there horns? Were there hooves?
Anything like that? Or did you see
actual fingers in feet?
So, it definitely was not a human.
It certainly was not
any animal that I am familiar
with, and I'm an outdoorsman, so I'm
out there quite a bit. But
The head was, I don't want to call it triangular.
I don't want to call it like necessarily ovular either, but it was almost a humanoid head but had a pointing chin.
Not like super pointed, but it would definitely like triangular shaped as it were.
I was able to see one hand and one arm.
One arm was definitely obscured by the tree.
The feet were obscured by just foliage on the ground.
It was by the waterline.
There was a lot of grass down there.
but the hand was long, not super, super long, but long fingers and longer style hand, as it were.
I did not catch how many fingers it had, so I don't want to speak a number there, but it was just certainly nothing I had ever seen before, and I have not really seen since.
So it is interesting, though, because you mentioned no clothes, but basically it just, it didn't, it didn't resemble anything that would look like a human that didn't have.
have clothes on, I guess I should say.
Right, exactly.
It definitely didn't.
Okay.
Fair enough.
And so we talk about, and there were no organs that I could see.
Right, right, right, exactly.
So, which is an important point.
But it's, yeah, it's something important to point out, right?
If we're talking about, it looks like a classic gray.
The grayish skin, about five to six feet tall.
You notice, you know, it does have appendages.
Did you notice, I know, you talked about the shape.
of the head. Did you notice the eyes at all, Jace?
Did it, do you remember anything about the eyes?
Actually, I do. I feel like we locked eyes.
They were just black, but shiny.
And it's probably the feature that stands out the most to me.
And I would say I got a really, really, really good glimpse of the face.
Because this week, it's like we locked eyes.
and I was able to really see the face quite well.
And there was no, nothing really a mouth.
There was like a little dark spot,
but it didn't have like a smile or lips that you could really see.
But the eyes were large and they were round and they were black shiny.
Wow. Okay.
Anything for a nose?
Not that I read, not that really that I remember, honestly.
Any hair, any visible hair at all?
None.
Absolutely none.
which was weird because like again someone being in the outdoors
if there's an animal lives in the woods it's going to have hair
did you smell it's a person they're probably going to have hair
right right exactly um did you smell anything at all jace
were there any distinct smells associated with this maybe you were too far away
we were only maybe 50 60 feet at most
away from one another at most and given that we're at the lake
there was a lot of lake smell um so if there was something to
distinct with it. I don't recall it.
Okay. Okay. It's fascinating because obviously, as you know now, it sounds like you're
describing a, you know, a typical gray that people would see. And it's incredible, you know,
I'm sure for you to look back on too. And just, just again, as far as background goes,
you said you're about eight or nine years old when this happened. Would there be anything
for you that would make this a suggestive siding, meaning, you know, you were watching some
type of science fiction show beforehand and you had a gray in mind you know what i mean were you
partaking in any of that entertainment at that age uh no i was not allowed to so so definitely not
no it was just your typical i was outside my my mom often would just make a sandwiches uh my
friends and i sandwiches or whatever and say go outside come back when it's dark right right yeah
We've been a lot of time out there.
Right.
Exactly.
So that, which is, again, you know, fascinating to think about that.
There weren't really a lot of influences for you then when it comes to seeing something
like that.
Was that the first time you had seen a gray alien like that?
You know, obviously in your life, yes.
But had you seen anything like that before on TV, pictures, magazines where you would,
where you said to yourself, oh, that looks like an alien that I saw.
you know, on XYZ.
No.
I've never seen anything like it.
Certainly not before.
And on TV, a lot of the descriptions I see, they kind of sound similar, right?
But I've never able to see.
I've never seen something recreated exactly the way that I saw it.
But there was no influence there whatsoever.
Interesting.
So now after you got older, I know there's more to your story here,
but I really wanted to go in depth on what you saw.
But as you went forward, I'm just curious, when did you realize as, you know, we get through the 90s into the 2000s and this starts to become more and more.
You see more pictures and things in movies and, you know, gray aliens on X-Files and things like that that came out about five years after that sighting that you had?
When did you realize? Wait, did I see an alien?
You know, there is no like one date that really comes to mind.
and I can't really say
necessarily I've ever said to myself
I saw an alien
I saw something that was alien to me
and I've never seen it again
I don't know if it's just my mind
still not wanting to come to grips with it
but I would
I would say probably about the time
I started kind of seeing the lights
in my room and coming into my room
that I was like maybe there was something to that
Maybe this is connected.
Right.
So I never had this connect the dots moment.
Okay.
And I'm glad you mentioned the lights coming into your room.
So because that's where I wanted to go next with this because now you, you leave that area, right?
You're like, oh my gosh, okay.
I'm out of here.
I don't know what I'm seeing, but I'm not sticking around to find out.
And now you go on.
So what happens after this?
How soon after, because I know you ended up seeing these lights in your room.
So what was that like and how soon after it was, you know, from where you saw the
creature at the lake to now seeing lights in your room?
Months, really?
Within a few months because the next thing that really I started, I noticed it was at night,
I've always had a hard time sleeping.
Even as a kid, I just had a hard time sleeping.
And sometimes wonder, like, because I don't really remember this happening until
after the lights thing.
But as a young kid, a few months later, my buddy and I were building a, building a fort.
That's what, you know, kids did.
Right.
And we had, we had just down the road from our house.
And it's a very unpopulated, again, a very rural area in this village.
Houses were spread apart.
Right.
There was only four houses on this entire street.
And the street's almost a mile long.
And the rest was just, it's just woods.
But right down the street from my house, there was this.
great big tree that I wish was still there, so pretty, but there's now a house there.
But we were building this fort, and it was winter.
It just got done snowing.
It was still snowing a little bit, just enough where you could kind of catch a snowflake on your hand or your tongue or whatever.
And we wanted to add these couple last finishing touches to a really cool tree fort.
And it was weird, but leading up to that, I do remember that there was a lot of lights.
coming into the room.
And we didn't have emergency vehicles going up and down our roads.
I had honestly, in my town, had never seen an ambulance or a police car coming into our
village at all.
So it was not anything like that.
But there were lights like flickering coming in my room, like almost like rainbow streams
for like a better terms.
And I never felt like scared at first.
I don't remember feeling scared.
But fast forward back again to that tree fortnight.
I felt, I can't say I heard it.
I felt this hum.
Like a vibration?
My buddy and I, yeah, it's, it's like you, like a low rumble, like you feel it in your body.
Okay.
And I was like, what is that?
And about that moment I kind of looked up and I saw this triangular looking thing, not very far above our heads.
And it had these colored lights on it.
And then it's this flash.
and it was weird
it's just my buddy and I out there
no one else is out there it's at night time
and my mom had said I have to be home at a certain time
and she was very adamant about those things
I guess she didn't grow up necessarily in the country
but anyway
my buddy and I were there and then like this flash
and I know he saw it
so I looked over at him and he was looking up to the same thing
and and I don't remember anything again to like this
another flash
And we were both back.
We were next to our tree fort.
And, but our footprints had partially filled with snow.
And so we had been gone for some amount of time.
But he just looked at me and I looked at him and I was still like, what the heck?
And kind of like somewhat dazed and confused.
Wow.
And he kind of looks at me and he starts freaking out and he just runs home.
And I hear my mom yelling down the street.
you know, yelling for me to get home and I'm like, oh, crap.
So I just, I run home.
And I didn't say anything to her and say anything to anybody else.
He and I, we mentioned it a few times, but he didn't want to talk about it.
And he's now a member of the clergy and it refuses to talk about it.
Wow.
Because everything is either, you know, an angel or a demon, period.
Right.
If you can't explain it, it's demonic.
Right.
But after that, I started seeing more and more of these lights coming in my room at night.
And then I started getting scared.
I remember after that time, I was scared.
I couldn't move.
I couldn't, like, yell or scream from my parents.
It was just these lights would come in from both windows in my room.
And then I would just wake up.
And it was, it freaked me out.
Yeah.
Freak me out.
Yeah, absolutely.
I had no one to talk to about it.
Sure.
And so I went about my life.
Okay, well, this is my normal now.
Unbelievable.
So did you feel like even though this was something you needed to deal with in your life,
like this was normal for you, did you realize it wasn't a normal thing?
You know what I mean?
I think I did.
I think I did.
But in my life, it was normal.
And I can honestly remember those lights happened a lot.
Really?
And growing up, as I got older, I saw what, you know, UAPs, UFOs.
I saw them often.
And my oldest daughter and I have seen them together.
And my ex-wife and I, we had a really weird one in a completely different state.
And so I saw them often after that.
But the lights, they never stopped.
They seem to have slowed down now.
But every now and then I do see them.
And this, of course, maybe it is just emergency vehicles going up and down the road.
Maybe it is something else.
but anytime I see these bright, like bright red and purple and green and yellow lights like streaming in the window, particularly at night, I get spooked.
I still kind of like there's like this, I don't want to say PTSD because I feel like that's reserved for somebody who's had something really traumatic and they can explain it.
But it's almost like it's PTSD.
I get like, oh, crap, what's going to happen now?
Right, of course.
No, and it is a level PTSD.
It's unbelievable, honestly, Jace.
So this would sound like to someone who's familiar here with this subject, it would sound like you've been abducted.
It sounds like a classic abduction type of scenario where you have a triangle craft, which is incredible, flying over you and your friend.
Your friend doesn't like to talk about it.
Like you said, he's part of the clergy.
Is that Catholic Church or what type of can you say?
No, evangelical Christian, Baptist, to be more specific.
So either way, he's within the clergy and doesn't feel comfortable discussing this as something other than, like you said, angels or demons, it doesn't even like to talk about it anymore.
Did he ever come to you and talk to you about anything else?
Did he ever experience lights or ever experienced seeing anything?
Or did he never just talk about it again after that one time with the triangle?
He never spoke about it again.
I brought it up one time when we were at school.
And it was a few years later.
It was actually right before I moved away from it.
Indiana.
And he just like, I'm not talking about that.
He didn't say it didn't happen.
Right.
He's like, I'm not talking about him.
Wow.
And he shut that down.
That's fascinating.
And this is why I really want to try when the opportunity presents itself, as I said,
at the start of a conversation, to speak to people like you, you know, a normal everyday
person, someone that, you know, someone would stand behind you in a grocery line at the,
at the store and never expect that you have a story like this.
And there are so many people like you, Chase, who have experiences like these from childhood
and they never tell anybody about them, right?
And it's for fear of people looking at you funny.
It's for fear of affecting your career.
And also it's because you're uncomfortable talking about it.
It's something that scares you.
It's something that you decided to put deep down inside of you and try to act like maybe
it didn't even ever happen.
And there's so many people like you.
And that's why I appreciate you so much coming on here to talk about all this today
because hopefully what this does is maybe helps other people like you, Jace,
feel comfortable enough to say, well, shoot, maybe I should start talking about my experience
because there's other people that's, I'm not alone, you know?
And so I speak for anybody else who's listening and thinking that,
where I say thank you for doing this today and going over this.
Absolutely.
Yeah, because we definitely need a normalize just people talking about their life experience
in general, not just, you know, paranormal or UFO, just their life experience.
be open and honest with people.
Yeah.
And I can say I still feel like,
I don't want to talk about it, but I do.
Yeah. And I 100% appreciate that.
I want to ask you a little bit more about the lights that you saw growing up after
the face-to-face with that creature that day, which just seems like the genesis of your
experiences.
You mentioned multicolored lights.
Has it always been like that?
Multicolored lights.
They show up shining through your window and then you're paralyzed.
You can't move.
Is that pretty much what ends up happening?
Yeah, it always started.
And I say it started.
It starts with a bright white light.
Okay.
It's always a bright white light first.
Okay.
And then just just after that, it's just multicolored lights like shooting in the room.
Now, do you ever remember anybody being in your room, any other beings or creatures,
or you just remember a light and then it stops?
A light and then it stops.
So have you, in those scenarios, have you experienced anything?
where you realize, wait a minute, it's three hours later than when I saw this.
Have you had missing time connected with these?
Yeah.
You have.
I have.
I can't say I've ever looked at like, oh, my gosh, it's this time.
Then it's this time.
But when it happens, I'll wake up and then shortly after, it's starting to peak daylight
outside.
And I would feel very, very, very tired.
And if I slept all night, I wouldn't have been so tired.
Wow.
But I can't ever say it's been 20 minutes and a couple hours, what have you.
But I can definitely, there's the absolute loss of time.
Did you feel that as well with the triangle that flew overhead that you had a loss of time?
Not initially, honestly.
Not until like I looked down.
I was like, that's weird.
Our footprints are partially covered in snow or filled in with snow.
So at that moment, I was like, that's kind of unusual.
but also I distinctly remember looking at my green indigo watch and and I remember like okay I have
I have I think the time of about another hour ish before I had to be home. So my mom said I had to be home by
eight o'clock and and so there was definitely a missing time and then when she's outside yelling and
yelling for me to get home I knew it was past that time. So what happened in that meantime?
I don't remember I can't speak to what time it was when I
got yelled at to come home, but she was outside.
When I remember when I, that flash happened again and I was there,
I distinctly remember her yelling.
So she had already been yelling for a certain amount of time,
but I got scolded and told to go to bed.
Fascinating.
Again, it sounds like, you know,
you've experienced the classic abduction type of cases.
And again, not anything,
there was never anything suggestive to you that would make you have these,
you know, thoughts or memories, right?
These are things you feel like you never had anything to make you have these thoughts implanted in your mind that you actually feel like you experience these things.
Yeah, nothing that was a precursor to it because I wasn't as subjected to anything like that.
Not until years later.
Right.
I started seeing like TV shows or movies that kind of dealt with the subjects.
Like, oh, that feels a little too real to me.
And I still, I'm the movie Fire in the Sky.
Great movie.
I have a really hard time watching it
and I could
in my head I know why
but there's also the part of you
that always doubts yourself
you know did I really go through that
and the fact that
I have those medical records showing that
there was something that happened to me
and I know I know you've viewed those as well
but like there's the
evidence suggesting yes something did happen
what happened we don't really know
but those kind of shows I still don't like
watching and I love horror movies. I love mysteries. I love UFO movies. But when it starts
getting a certain subject, I'm like, nope. Yeah. Wow. And totally understandable. I'm glad you brought
the medical records because I wanted to ask you about that next, Jase. And that is, where did this go for
you when it came to any health issues that you felt like you were having afterward? I mean,
why did you feel like you needed to get checked out while all this or after all this was going on?
Yeah, never in my wildest thoughts, what I thought that this was related to why I was having some problems playing my sports.
I played baseball. I ran track. I played soccer. Most of my young adult, or most of my young adult, I started playing soccer. I was about five. I stopped on. I was about 20.
I ran, I did all these, you know, sports. I was always in great shape. And but in the riot, I'd say, 98, 99.
1998, 1999, I started getting a lot of pain in my left leg.
It wasn't like super painful at the right all the gate,
but it was like this annoying, sometimes dulls and I'm sharp pain.
And I had not had any injuries to that other than I did have a ski accident,
a snow skiing accident where I did hyper extend my left leg.
So I was like, okay, maybe it's something related to that.
But I hadn't had any kind of car accidents, no motorcycle accidents.
nothing, no actual like, uh, trauma to my leg other than just being hyper extended. Um,
but I kept relating it back to that. Like, this is really hurts, really hurts. And, uh, and I
started getting a little bit more atrophy in that, that leg because I was kind of favoring it,
you know, um, what people do, I suppose. But, um, it started affecting my, my sports. And I,
I went to my mom. It's like, I got to go do, I got to do something about this. Like, it's really
hurting. It's really affecting me playing sports.
And she's like, okay, well, we'll take you to, we'll take you the doctor.
And so the doctor can check me out.
It's like, no, there's no cuts, no scrapes, no, nothing suggests.
It must be a soft tissue injury.
So we'll send you in to get x-rays and MRI and we'll do the whole nine yards.
So they do that.
And one of the questions they ask you, which was, I still laugh about it, but it's funny, but it's funny, but at the MRI or at the x-ray,
they ask you, do you have any metal in your leg and you know, blah, blah, blah, do you have any,
metal in your body. They'll ask you the MRIs, the x-rays, what have you. And they answer,
like, well, no, of course not. I don't have any implants. You know, like, there's nothing. I never had
a knee replacement, anything like that. And they're like, okay, well, both scans, the x-rays and
the MRI. They're like, well, you got something in there because the MRI won't come out correctly
because it keeps starbursting on us. So there's something in your leg. So they go back to the x-rays.
They go do x-rays on me.
And there's these three pieces of metal in my left leg.
In my, one in the front of my calf or my shin, one and then two smaller ones, well, one longer, one smaller one in my thigh, right around my knee, right where it was hurting.
Which again, you could chalk it up to.
Well, knee is usually where it hurts in your leg.
But it felt really localized to that.
And so they asked, did she get me in a car accident, anything like that?
I'm like, no, nothing, no surgeries, nothing.
And the doctors are like, we really got to remove those.
We don't know what those are.
There's foreign bodies in your leg.
We need to remove them.
So they did surgery, and they removed them.
And I did wake up during that surgery, and I've woken up on a couple of surgeries after that as well.
And I could describe the doctors.
And so that was nothing really to do with it, but it was very traumatic.
That surgery was dramatic in general.
Wow.
But I was, I asked, like, well, before the surgery, can I, can I keep them?
I want to keep these.
It's kind of cool, you know?
It looks like, it looks like straight pints, like broken straight pints.
And so, doctor, he's like, well, I have no use for them.
Sure.
And remember after the surgery, they,
the pain was almost almost instantly gone.
I had that surgical pain, which wasn't that bad,
but that constant pain was gone.
But he let me keep him.
I woke up.
I was in a recovery room, and the little jar was right next to me,
and I made a comment to my mom.
She was there, and I said, oh, so he let me keep him.
And she's like, yeah, yeah, they're right there.
And, well, I don't know how many people here,
your listeners have been through surgery, probably most of them.
But in your recovery room, oftentimes it's not like a really room.
It's more like a just, they pull this little curtain shut.
And you can still see outside.
The nurse is going to see you kind of peek around, right?
Well, I know this is going to sound far-fetched, but I, there was,
there was some guys standing there that didn't look like they belonged.
They were wearing suits.
They didn't look like they belonged.
They kind of looked over at me.
They looked up.
I looked back.
They, like, they weren't, didn't seem like they were really interested in me,
but they looked right at me, then turned back around.
But they weren't talking to anybody.
There was just two of the guys.
There's two guys by themselves.
In suits.
And my mom left.
She was like, yeah, in suits.
And they were in dark suits.
I can't say they were black suits.
But they were darker suits.
And that's where we're going to end part one.
I know kind of a cliffhanger there.
But I can't wait for you to hear the next part because we go right back into it
when it comes to those men in the black suits.
Obviously, you know what it sounds?
like and it gets stranger actually, believe in or not.
And now obviously, look, okay, there's two things I want to mention here before we're done.
Number one would be what to look forward to in part two.
Of course, like I said, we come to the conclusion of that story concerning the men in
the black suits who are at the hospital right after that surgery to take out the pieces
of metal shards in Jace's knee.
So we'll hear the conclusion of that story.
And then we get more into his experiences, of course,
what else has happened since then.
And then we also talk about his professional life.
And where he worked is key here.
And then what he saw at these places.
It really, the culmination of all this is really something.
And which takes me to my next point, which is why should we believe him?
Right.
I mean, you can easily listen to this and say, well, you know, Stephen, he's probably just making up the story to be on your show.
And that's a perfectly fair speculative.
opinion to have, right?
I totally understand if someone has, you know, has a ton of speculation,
that they don't believe it.
You know, it might be someone who just wants the question all of what someone is saying.
I totally get it, okay?
You're a skeptic if that's the case.
Or if you're listening and saying, oh, my gosh, I've had stuff like this happen to me
and I've never told anybody about it.
And I can't believe he's explaining things that have happened to me
before, I thought I was, you know, alone in all this. Now I'm hearing somebody who's had similar
experiences to me. Maybe you feel emboldened. Maybe now you feel like you're not alone in this
and you're comfortable coming out and talking to somebody about it. Like there's two sides of the
spectrum here. Okay. So I understand if you listen to this with a skeptical ear and you think to
yourself, well, what reason do I have to believe this guy? He's just, you know, this normal guy.
Well, put it all together, listen to both parts. And honest, quite frankly, you can even start to
opinion from that first part. I mean, you hear he's not sensational. This is a guy, what I gathered
from Jace, just my personal read and talking to him over the past, you know, few months and then,
of course, doing the interview together. This was somebody who was an unwitting experiencer.
He didn't understand what was happening to him and he couldn't, he didn't know how to make sense
of it. And he didn't feel like he could even talk to anybody about it. So this wasn't, in my
opinion, this is not a guy who is looking for fame. This is not a guy who's trying to get on, you know,
Joe Rogan or any other big show.
He's not clamoring to get on, you know, Jesse Michaels or Chris Ramsey or any other show.
He was even, you know, scared about or hesitant.
I shouldn't say scared, but hesitant about reaching out to me in the first place just to tell
his story.
In the email, he didn't say, hey, can I come on your show and talk about it?
Like I said at the start of it, the only reason he came on to talk about it is because I brought
it up to him.
I felt like this was an important story to tell for people to hear from somebody that they've
never heard from before. We're so used to hearing from, and this, I don't mean this in a negative way.
I just mean it in a fact, we're so used to hearing from the same people. So in some terms,
when we're used to hearing from the same people, the same witnesses, sometimes what ends up
happening is we pull their story apart and their words start to fall on deaf ears because
it starts to sound like white noise. You're hearing from the same people over and over again.
So that's, and again, I don't mean that in a negative way. That's just the fact of the situation.
it doesn't make their testimony any less meaningful, not at all.
But it's just the fact that when you hear from somebody new, you hear a new voice, you hear a new perspective.
Again, this is an unassuming man who was never planning on telling his story.
He's not trying to get rich off of this.
He's not trying to get known off of this.
If he was, he would have used his last name during the interview.
He just wanted to go by his first name.
Okay, so there's also that to throw out there.
And he'll probably never do another interview again.
Maybe I'm wrong about that.
I would love to have him back on here.
I think he probably would come back on here.
Maybe he goes on to another show.
Someone asks him, so who am I to say that he wouldn't do another interview?
But I'm not sure he's seeking it is what I'm trying to say, okay?
This isn't someone who is seeking attention for his story.
So that, to me, is a very big qualifier when you're talking about the validity of someone's experiences that they are relating to you.
Are they seeking attention?
Are they seeking monetary gain?
Are they trying to put themselves out there and do social media?
of videos every day with new details about their story.
There's three notes to that when it comes to Jace.
So those are big qualifiers for me.
So if I'm trying to make up my own mind on his story
and as far as the validity of his witness account
and him as a witness himself,
those are big things for me that I look at when I talk to somebody.
Again, make up your own mind.
There's still part two to hear.
But take this all as you will.
For me, this is a very compelling case
from a very compelling witness.
witness. And I can't wait for you to hear the rest of it. I'm glad we got to present this one
here today. And thank you so much again to Jace for, like I said, in the interview when I say it at
the end of part two, for feeling comfortable enough to come on here and talk about this for the very
first time in his life in a public forum. So part two coming up, like I said, it'll pick up right
where we left off in the conclusion with that story of his encounter with the men in black in the
hospital and then move forward from there. Wait until you heard about what he saw during his
professional career. I was like, this is big stuff. So we'll get to that in part two. Be sure to
