Starting point is 00:00:00 Going on vacation? We're here for it. With kids who turned the backseat into a courtroom drama over whose tablet is louder, whose charger is faster, and while watching the same cartoon for the hundredth time is the human right? Yep, we totally have vehicles to handle that. Because whether it's a road trip or a business trip, where your flight's delayed, your phone's at 2%
Starting point is 00:00:22 and your dinner is whatever is open? Yeah, here for that too. Enterprise, we're here for it. Is there a big push to start registering exercise bands yet? Man and women are supposed to compliment each other. That sex is, Brandon. Kid news, Eli, the Muslims still have oil. Motherf-Fi.
Starting point is 00:00:40 Anybody got a clonipin? Being a Nazi and being a communist should be equally as appurant. And we're back around. Say Eli, he's racially ambiguous. Brandon, his hair is fucking fabulous. Donut. A dog joke disposition And there's a fat electrician
Starting point is 00:01:05 We'll come to unsubscribe My fellow Americans And also you filthy plops and pepperbacks We're coming up on the end of this election cycle Which is frankly frightening It's been a long journey We started out going after Tony Gonzalez We succeeded in that campaign
Starting point is 00:01:23 In a large part thanks to all of you all Which I will forever be in your debt But now with the election coming up on November 3rd, the one thing I did want to remind you all, in the state of Texas at least, the last day to register to vote is October 5th. Now, I know a lot of you guys are probably in the military and might be stationed at places like Fort Bliss or Fort Sam Houston, Loughlin Air Force Base. If any of those things sounded familiar, you can still register to vote and potentially be in my district to be able to vote for me.
Starting point is 00:01:52 Regardless, this cycle, I'm really going to need some help with getting good coworkers in D.C., so I'm not stuck with a bunch of miserable DC pricks. So if you wouldn't mind not only going out to vote, you know, voting early, voting on election day, whenever it is that you can actually make it happen. This is the final stretch, and this is how we get things across the finish line. And not only that, if you're not in my district
Starting point is 00:02:12 and you can't vote for me, you can still help support us. We have an ongoing giveaway right now. Any donation of $5 is an entry. $10 is two entries. $100 is, it's incalculable. $100 is 20 entries. And that's a giveaway on something that's quiet, I would say. Something that is, you know, we're keeping quite suppressed.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Something I'm not allowed to say on this podcast. But the winner will also receive a ticket to the Range Day that we do every year. This year is going to be in Vegas. It's going to be a really good time. Hang out with some of your favorite creators, YouTubers. I mean, obviously all of the gang. And shoot some fucking machine guns in the desert. I mean, what could be more American than that?
Starting point is 00:02:48 All of that is possible when you go to Brandon Herrera for Congress.com and donate there. Again, $5 per entry. They've thrown a lot at us this cycle specifically, actually from this podcast, pulling shit out of context that we correctly said was going to be pulled out of context. But in reality, I know you guys are my secret weapon. I mean, you guys have been with me through thick and thin, and I cannot thank you enough. This chapter for me is coming to a close, and I cannot think of a better group of people to be with. So thank you all so much, and I'm very proud of this community. Let's get it across the finish line, boys.
Starting point is 00:03:24 Thanks. Two, three. Delicious orange cream as you want. Product placement never tasted so good. Sorry, Cody. Hi, everyone. Welcome to the unscribed podcast. I'm joined today by Eli Dolotap.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Nick the fat electrician, Brennan, her, and myself, Donut Operator. Thank you so much for being here. We're doing a boys episode. Wolverine, would his foreskin grow back or not? These are the questions. Female Wolverine, permanent virgin. Yeah, the hymen.
Starting point is 00:04:03 Rehominated constantly. Oh, gosh. What did it think about that? Would it re-heaminate during the act? Oh. How would that feel? How fast are his regenerative powers? It seals over it?
Starting point is 00:04:12 It pierces right through it. Oh, my God. It's just a cigar trap. Stuck! That was the funny part. He's just thinking that, like, Wolverine is like an observant Jew that just must constantly re-circumcise himself. He just keeps a cigar cutter.
Starting point is 00:04:29 They really missed out on a villain for him. I think it's canonically Catholic. He's constantly trying to go fucking circumcising. Oh, God, right. What's the evil man's name? Well, that one Wolverine movie, I don't remember what his religion might be, but he was in a plantation. Remember? I can't remember which.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Origins? Was it origins? When he shows him as a kid? Yeah, him and Sabretooth. Because I think he grew up on a plantation. So I'm curious if he would have been circumcised. Also, this is wild conversation to jump right into the podcast with. It's fun.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Why? It's a boys episode. Also, unpopular opinion. One of the best scenes of any superhero movie ever is the montage of him and Sabretooth running through every American war. It's like one of the hardest scenes of any superhero movie. I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Yeah, they go through everyone. Because it shows them revolutionary. Civil. D-Day, like on Normandy. Yeah. It's like the B. World War I, D-Day. Vietnam.
Starting point is 00:05:28 Yeah. I also love the, God, what, it was Wolverine. I think it was just the Wolverine, where it shows that it opens up with him being a POW in Japan during World War II when the nuke goes off. Yeah, and he saves the guy? Yeah. Why was he still a specialist? Well, that's the one where a striker or strider, you remember that his handler walks in? And he was like, you were executed by a firing squad this morning.
Starting point is 00:05:53 What was that like? And he's like, well, it tickled. Hardest line in cinema. Oh, yeah. They would just fake their deaths, right? I don't know if they ever explained how they kept going through it. Oh, he is Canadian. Yeah, but he was still fighting in like the American Civil War, for example.
Starting point is 00:06:08 They're probably in brother fighting brother and then Wolverine out of nowhere. Yeah, it's like, why are we here? It's like that guy with the science. Shut up, I'm worried about states rights. It's just the guy with the signs. Like, I don't believe in anything. I'm just here for the violence. What the fuck?
Starting point is 00:06:22 Oh, I didn't think about this until it popped up the other day. Piccolo, you know, Dragon. Piccolo. How old does Piccolo compare to Gohan? Do you remember Piccolo's the one that trains Gohan? Yeah, yeah, the green guy. How old is he compared to Gohan? I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Is he an alien from another planet or something? Or they don't ever explain that? Yes, the original. Namik. Yeah. Brother, I don't know. They keep getting reincarnated too, which confused the shit on me during that show. Is this one of those anime things where like the B.
Starting point is 00:06:50 The B. The files claim that like, oh, no, actually, she's eight billion years old. He's four. He's four. I forgot about it. He was born right before. You remember he's the the king piccolo dies and then kicks out the egg
Starting point is 00:07:06 and then that's where he comes from. Like four times 365. He's four years old. Just four years old. He talks really well for four years. I feel like aliens aren't measuring years the same way we are. Like I have a hard time believing in alien from the planet NAMIC in a different solar system.
Starting point is 00:07:21 Like, no, no, no. We're going to track our age by the amount of times Earth travels around their sun. But then Dunday, fucking is the little baby namic the entire time. I don't know. That would fuck me up. Eli, I watched that in 15 minute increments when I was a child jumping off the bus. And then I swear to fuck, dude, when he's powering up, it took like five episodes and I was the angriest kid ever. We didn't even have DVD players back then. You had to watch it on fucking Cartoon Network. Just start your day by getting edged by
Starting point is 00:07:51 Dragon Ball. Yeah, well, Pokemon played in the morning. Pokemon played at 6.30 a.m. So you'd wake up. I said my Nickelodeon alarm clock just to watch Pokemon in the morning, and then I would have to rush off the bus to catch Dragon Ball Z in the afternoon. And I swear to God, some of those episodes, the way they cut them up, dude. I know that, I know, and now, like, knowing what I know about the industry, especially, like, film and media and stuff like that, they played that shit so hard. They extended it just to make money on the commercials, because there were some, there were some episodes where, ah, just powering up a fucking something. Just to make money on their
Starting point is 00:08:26 studio barricials. Yeah. How many episodes did the, it was like five. It was a long time of just seeing like power of power. The power of love gummy. Leave butterflies and shit to go and so he could throw it at an alien. Also they could also they could just milk the money they made on the, the studio blue personal camcorder ads that Cody was in.
Starting point is 00:08:47 That was Nickelodeon, okay. I'm talking about cartoon. Oh, okay. I see. Yeah. The spirit bomb took up to seven episodes to charge. That was such a. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Exactly. Exactly. That is seven weeks of waiting. And you're way, in Japan, they would have had to wait each week for that to come out. What's the episode? Is it just him just, oh, Friza? It's, he's fighting, well, he's fighting Friza. I forget how they, is it, they talk a lot during.
Starting point is 00:09:11 I don't know why, but my brain just immediately went to like, what if was released like TV shows? It was just, we had to wait seven weeks for this dude to blow his love. Oh, he's powering up too. He's going to release. Cut to the back story. No. No, no, I don't give a shit about it school.
Starting point is 00:09:32 It's like a dark, dark street raining. This is how he became the pizza man. Well, my father was a plumber and his father before him. This was always my destiny. What always killed me? They would cut to the story of them on like the rainbow road or wherever the they were. The guys, do, do, do, do, do, do, do.
Starting point is 00:09:53 What the fuck is happening? The fucking guys up there jerking off learning how to do. You got the Kai with this new car on his planet that's fucking seven feet big. Literally. We. It's a monkey and a cricket. What? I've never watched the show in my own.
Starting point is 00:10:15 Is it a sun cricket or a different kind of cricket? It was a sun cricket. What do you mean, Cody? What are you guys talking about? Nothing. Hey, Brandon's congressional run is going great. Oh, he's a good transition. Fight not because of my friends.
Starting point is 00:10:33 You decided to do this on hardcore mode. That's not my fault. No. You knew this. The former congressman who was in the seat, wonder what happened to him. He decided that I needed to do this through his own action. Oh, the base police is here.
Starting point is 00:10:48 Connery yesterday was just like. God. I just imagine how much worse it would have been if Richard actually brought the wig. Oh, God. Like turn on his alternate personality. You're like, uh,
Starting point is 00:11:01 yesterday was, you missed out. Oh, man. The last two, the last two episodes were really good. Okay. Really fun.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Well, Rich yelled the word and branded it first, they got daggers. And then everyone just started crying at the table. It was like the opening of the after show. Like, dude, I got, at time of recording,
Starting point is 00:11:21 63 days, just, bear with me here. We're almost there. You're almost there. Oh, you did an event last night. night. Yeah, I appreciate all the boys showing up. We did a AmeriCon at Thirsty Horse, which is,
Starting point is 00:11:33 that was kind of cool. It was for the Texas Veterans Coalition. So a lot of veteran charities and things like that there. It's, you know, it's to raise money and to give veterans a place to, you know, see a bunch of veteran outreach groups and things like that. But it's kind of cool. And it was like kind of a campaign thing. Kind of not. But it's like, obviously I'm running for office, but it's just something I do on the side. But everybody who's there had a great time. a Comic-Con themed kind of thing. That dude showed up dressed as, who was he?
Starting point is 00:12:01 Revin. I'm not that deep in the Star Wars lore. He's one of the most, like he is like one of the OG sis, like one of the most powerful dudes. He was a Jedi, then amnesia. No, Jedi turned dark, got amnesia, then turned back to the light side.
Starting point is 00:12:16 There's Revin's story in a nutshell. It looked. It was terrible, but then I forgot. Yeah, literally. Yeah. Yeah, we talked to him a little bit. He showed up wearing like full regalia. like fucking full Sith gear, two red lightsabers.
Starting point is 00:12:32 It was really cool. And I was talking to him. He was like, yeah, I thought there was like Comic-Con. So I did my cosplay and was like, dude, you look great. I'm glad he did. This is awesome. Yeah, that was badass. It's fucking rad.
Starting point is 00:12:41 What did Cody's mom? Because your parents have been in town the last couple days. That's why I haven't been on the podcast for the past two episodes or whenever we release the episodes is my beautiful, amazing, wonderful wife, Moody surprised me with my mom and dad. Like, they've never, or they haven't been here in like five. years and so she's surprising them five years they were there like they were there like nine months ago they were they definitely weren't they haven't even been here since his new house yeah since this house
Starting point is 00:13:06 yeah that's a lie no they haven't they did it was the first time seeing my new house they were their election night for me i think they didn't see my new house oh i don't well it's definitely not i thought you meant the par i said five years okay sorry i said five years sorry why don't you correct me a little bit i will i fucking will is other Like two years. Words, words mean things. The Revin cosplayer, very cool cosplay, by the way.
Starting point is 00:13:35 I saw how the inside of his helmet works and everything. But I was standing next to Mama Donut and Papa Donut at the outside bar there and just having a conversation. And Cody's mom, sweet angel, very heavy Southern accent. She, like, taps me on the arm. And she goes, Connor, why's that man dressed like a robot? I was like, it's got like a Comic-Con thing. He's a Star Wars character. And she goes, but it's just him.
Starting point is 00:14:01 For now. Your mom's a total f***ing sweetheart. She's awesome. Or excuse me, our mom. They didn't want me to wear my costume. What was your costume going to be, Nick? Me. We need to prove.
Starting point is 00:14:12 I was there for all of like three minutes and some security guard comes up. Do you have a shirt with sleeves? No. I thought you were going to be. Not in your car or anything, bro. I don't have a shirt with sleeves in this state. I thought you were going to be cosplaying one of the horsemen from Django Unchained. Oh.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Okay. shit out of this fucking thing. Like, I could see why they didn't let you in. They wouldn't let you in with a, with your tank. Well, they let me in initially. And then they wanted me to leave. And I was like, I mean, I'll leave if you want, but I'm supposed to go on stage with Brandon in like 20 minutes. If you want to tell him, I'll dip out. And he's like, uh, I guess you're fine. Thanks. I don't know. They've always had that rule. I'm not trying to be a dick. I didn't wear sleeves of the Pentagon. I'm not wearing it for this bar. Jesus. It's fair.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Why do they have that rule there? I don't know. I have no idea. Yeah, probably a gang thing. Ah, yes, gangs. Renowned for wearing tank tops. Oh, yeah. It's a two-stepping bar, like classic cowboy bar.
Starting point is 00:15:13 Your tattoos are very cool. Stupid, dumb, dumb rules. You're the minority of people that would get into a fight at a bar over a tattoo. But they have to have the same rule for everyone. I just like. They're starting to get hidden again by your, fixed sheet of hair. That shit got grew back fast.
Starting point is 00:15:30 Did you just like get at it at two or two? He was just here like a week ago. A couple weeks ago, yeah. Yeah. Like Wolverine, but hair. Somebody check his foreskin. Was it Santa Claus? It's like.
Starting point is 00:15:42 Yeah. It grows a beard immediately again. Yeah, pretty much. I feel you, brother. It's like wiping peanut butter out of a shag carpet. Yep. Man. That's why you shave your butt.
Starting point is 00:15:55 What? Tell me how many years my mom's been here. I'll tell you. She texts my ass. When's the last time she was here? Let's figure that the fuck out. There was a punching machine when I walked in. The first thing I seen the punching machine was working.
Starting point is 00:16:10 I was like, that is 100% getting used sometime this evening. And then I'm outside doing stuff. And then someone walks up to like, Eli, you're not in there. They're punching the machine. I was like, who is? It's like, Nick, Rich. I'll be right there. And then we had to go on stage for, uh,
Starting point is 00:16:27 for the end event. Oh, yeah. Interrupted. Interrupted. Poor shit. Did you find out, Brandon? I did not. I'm now being a bad podcast.
Starting point is 00:16:40 Oh, you're fine. Did you punch the machine? I did not, no. I didn't know we were doing that. I'm sorry, you didn't see it. Walked back out. No, I was, I had an event to run. I was like, please, everyone came outside.
Starting point is 00:16:55 You walked right past it. Don't lie to me. You knew we were going to punch that thing. I should have known. I really should have. I was surprised it was working. It's been a thirsty horse for like three years and it's never worked. Really?
Starting point is 00:17:06 Head of security said one of his guys broke his hand on it last week. Missed and punched the pole holding the thing. I had, okay, hammered one time in my early 20s, I did that exact same thing. I didn't break my hand, thank God, but I completely, like, it was like three o'clock in the morning. We were staying after hours at this bar. Completely fucking missed and smacked plastic. I thought I broke my hand. three. It just barely slaps.
Starting point is 00:17:31 That would be so much worse than just missing. It's just getting like a score of a five while just crippling yourself. Instantly competitive. Well, it was fun. Who won? I'd miss that part. No. All right. I'd be almost everyone offhanded.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Almost. Yeah. I also have a few pounds less than you. I'm in a different weight class. When I fight my guy's my weight class, I hear real hard. I know. I know you can afford. food. I don't want to hear your excuses.
Starting point is 00:18:01 Don't hit me with that bullshit. Just gross at me. I know you got breeder all money. You're not going to be like, oh, you wait more. It's not my fault. Fuck off. He just told you to thick it up or shut up. Now I'm fighting people Conner's height.
Starting point is 00:18:16 Just to get to Nick's weight class. You're running around looking like Mr. Olympia? This blows now. October hits different. The season shifts. The light changes. and your whole rhythm changes with it. Your alarm goes off, you wake up,
Starting point is 00:18:32 and it's still dark outside. What the heck? Unless you're blind. In that case, it's normal. We all know the struggles of navigating that seasonal shift. What the heck are you going to do to stay ahead of it? That's where your AG1 routine earns its spot. Dang, Skippy, especially that Nex Gent. It tastes yummy. It's late, so I'm going to hit the Zee. The Nekjin wakes you up. I can't be woken up right now.
Starting point is 00:18:53 Comes with a doodad. You can use to stir your drink. What is nice is it actually breaks down. Cheap ones don't do that. That looks like it might have 75 plus vitamins, minerals, pre and probiotics. How did you know exactly the number? Because I've got the read in front of me. Thank you, AG1. What about the superfoods that are backed by four clinical trials?
Starting point is 00:19:13 So this wasn't just one of those situations where they did a study. There were four independent studies that said within three months, key nutrition improved. Consistency. That's all it takes. Be consistent and you will see changes. AG1 will help with that. October is when the immune source. immune support really earns its place in your daily routine.
Starting point is 00:19:32 Don't want to be caught with those sniffles that are going around. Don't get caught lacking. Go with AG1. It's specifically formulated to boost your immune response. It puts you head of the curve. AG1 next gen, that's with that. Think conversational, not scripted. So if you go to drinkag1.com slash unsubscribe for a limited time, you can get the free immune support bundle. A bottle of Omega 3 fish oils and a bottle of D3K2 which is not a droid from Star Wars with your first subscription order that's drink AG1.com slash unsubscribe oh our game comes out our game will be coming out well by the time this is out it's already out scavran
Starting point is 00:20:16 scavran yeah scavlan's weird this can be a no no say right insert too scavran there you go welcome to scovran well you can pray one of us the fat wretch shish or aka frash What's your name? The governor. I'm Carl. Carl. What's the first letter? It better not be K.
Starting point is 00:20:36 It's not K. It's not K. I don't have a pet cat named Donut. And then you're the governor, right? Something like that. They came, the boys came down, the game developer guys came down to San Antonio to hang with us. And they were like, oh, yeah, we're going to make you this cool, like,
Starting point is 00:20:53 post-apocalyptic, like gun dealer. And you're going to be all jacked and awesome. And I'm like, nah. make me a fucking loser like make me a burnout has been politician like this guy was really important in the old world but nobody can remember why i remember i think my my thing is like a tattered suit like i'm just like a holding on to what was he has a ghost town i think if it's like you in a ghost town it's like just vote for the governor or whatever but no one's you're doing it by yourself it's i just wanted it to be sad and funny i'm stoked for it's doing really good thank you for all the support by the way
Starting point is 00:21:27 saying we had like almost 200,000 wish list. Yeah, it looks cool as shit. That's gonna be fun. Yeah, we were at, they announced 175 early, like today or yesterday. Yesterday. That's pretty cool, man.
Starting point is 00:21:40 The wish lists? Yeah. Hell yeah. Thank you guys. We're the top 100 in Steam in the world. It's a fun game. We got to play it, like play some of it, and it's fun. Yeah, what is it release?
Starting point is 00:21:52 The fourth. Oh, oh, oh, okay, got it. Sorry. I thought you were saying we were fourth on Steam. Oh, no, no, no. Oh, okay. We're like number one right now? No, on pre-list in the world, we're number 90 in all the world of all games, period, that have been wishlisted that much and that fast.
Starting point is 00:22:08 I really am excited to play this fucking thing. It looks like it's going to be a good time. Dude, and it's having it, what, multiplayer in a couple months. Our characters also get dropped in a couple months. There's a whole bunch of different things rolling out with it. And then treating it, the loose systems a lot, like. Diablo. Oh, and we're doing shit with Tarkoff. Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:22:31 What? We're partnering up with Tarkoff. For Scablands? Yeah. No, for what? Nikita. No shit. Yeah. Oh, dude. I love it. Nikita's fucking red. Yeah. I forgot about that. Yeah, that was good news. That's why I was outside earlier.
Starting point is 00:22:43 I saw they posted a video yesterday, and it always flashbangs me because I haven't played Tarkov in a long time. But like, they posted like a reel, and it was a guy shooting the AK-50. And I was like, what? How many croutes does it cost? Yeah. And I was like, oh, shit. This is, you saw it then. I was like, oh shit, I forgot my gun was in that game. This is fucking cool. Dude, I always forget your gun is in that game.
Starting point is 00:23:05 It'll be fun. We're in a game, too. It'll be good. AK50, I think, is also in Scavland. Mm-hmm. Yeah, so if you want to shoot the AK-50, like, not in real life, but on your, you know, device of choice, you can play Scavland. That fucking stuff for her. Cody, how you would do?
Starting point is 00:23:19 Cody, you got, I don't know if you've announced the baby on this. Yeah, there's a little beanie baby happening. right now. My wife is 12 weeks pregnant. It's a size of a lemon as of today. So yeah, I'm having a little b-a-baby. Yeah, there's a churro in the oven. Yeah, there's a churro down there. You resetting a eight. John's about to leave the house. And you're like, let's start back over. Cody's kids about to be an adult. He's like, I'm going to prestige. I was going to say he's prestigious. I was going to say. I wanted this one cold. John too. So the, the due date is exactly one month before John turns 18. So yeah, I'm prestigious.
Starting point is 00:23:57 No doubt. The gold. New skin unlocked. Literally, because it's a Mexican. Jesus. New camo. Jesus Christ. Do John's senior year right now?
Starting point is 00:24:21 Yeah. Oh, Lord. Never change, Cody. Never change. I don't think he can. No. I fucking love it. Oh, there we go.
Starting point is 00:24:34 What is this? What is this? You do for you. These are from the dev team. Do what? Oh, thank you. The dev team. They made you guys hand-forged knives.
Starting point is 00:24:43 Are they all the same? No, they're all different. For particular people? No, they just said grab. Oh, okay. Yeah. That's just cool. Unless there's a name written on them.
Starting point is 00:24:54 These are hefty. Holy shit. Yeah, they had them custom made for us. It's a thank you. You see what these patches. Oh, it's all from Brazil. Yeah, hand forged E
Starting point is 00:25:04 Get the New Hutton Brazil patches Yeah, it's a blurt Is it sharp? I will say Damn It's a thick-ass boy
Starting point is 00:25:17 America aside Because obviously America wins It everything But Brazil has the coolest National flag Besides America That one's fucking dope Jesus, that's a
Starting point is 00:25:27 I just want to throw it I like the sheath too, man. Yeah, Lucas and the team, they're amazing. They're just all good dudes. Appreciate the gifts and the opportunity to work with you guys to make a game because I don't think any of us would have thought Unsub would be a production company for video games. Not me.
Starting point is 00:25:48 I love how I said, I want to throw this. And then everybody behind the camera immediately looked up. Like, huh? Want to get away but can't live without Wi-Fi? Starting point is 00:26:35 Belt loops. She, she, you didn't have to do that. Neat. Pretty sons of bitches. They the best. That's fine. It's cool, too. And we were talking about that with the game is like, I knew nothing about the game right
Starting point is 00:26:47 out the gate other than clean was, he's like, dude, this is the thing to jump on. It's going to be cool for these reasons. We're doing it right. You know, it's not like some AAA bullshit. We're doing everything the proper way. and it's being made by people who love games. And it's kind of like a bet on the jockey, not the horse. It's like if clean is telling me that shit, I'm like, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:27:08 I bully believe him. I'm on board. He's been attached to every game he's worked on or helped develop has been monsters. So this was the first time he asked, he's like, hey, we're looking for investors. And it helps them a lot because the game was supposed to come out like February this year. But when you have a normal publisher or working with a company, they're going to rush you. and then you have to hit those dates and you get shit released and then well you guys already know ask cyberpunk yes exactly witcher three cyberpunk fucking skyroom or any best that was witcher three
Starting point is 00:27:39 the same yes the horse would float and run you like you ride roach and it would just take off and in the wind we're getting a scavland before gta six quite literally but baby assuming it doesn't get leaked in the next three days dude that game does look fucking insane what gtac six yeah just You watched the trailer? I watched some of the stuff. I don't know. So I had a, I loved Red Dead Red Dead Redemption too, right?
Starting point is 00:28:06 It's one of my favorite games of all time. There were elements of that game that were, irritating. That like, it's just like, wash your left arm. Now wash your right arm. It's like,
Starting point is 00:28:16 come on, man. There's certain elements of real life. Like, I can just go do that. Had it, man. Like, certain elements of that, I really hope they don't go too far into that for GTA6.
Starting point is 00:28:27 It's just like, oh, wow, you need to get your oil, changed because you're at 2,000 miles. It's like, come on, man. Well, I guess I'm murdering someone and taking their fucking car. Taking outside the box. What an inconvenient. Bam! The beauty of Grand Theftado. It's like, oh, I'm going to go sleep with a hooker and then killer in the game, blah, blah, blah. And then like, okay, then you have to like go get medication
Starting point is 00:28:48 for gonorrhea or else your character's like getting debuffs from health. What was? Explain it to your game girlfriend. Was it? Yeah. I have an endgame problem. Was it? Was it far cry? had that had that? I don't know. It was like Far Cry 2. Had like STDs in the game? No, you had malaria and you had to like constantly go around and keep finding malaria medication while also trying to do missions the entire time.
Starting point is 00:29:12 It's just an annoying mechanic that not even necessary. You see what I'm saying though. Yeah. They're like, this is so much more realistic. You have to do your taxes every year. It's like I don't, I don't want to, man. I just want to go do cool heists and shit. I'm going to be, I'm going to create as many mass casualties as I can.
Starting point is 00:29:29 can like right when it was in the game. I feel like in the game. Games are getting too realistic. Games are getting too realistic. I want to tone it back a little bit. Scablinz. Yeah. That's why I feel like hell divers, for example,
Starting point is 00:29:42 was so like that was so fun. They didn't try for realism per se. It's like it's Starship Troopers in space. You're an ODST. You get blown up. They send another. I want, because I used to love like football games when I was in high school.
Starting point is 00:29:54 You know like ESPN, 2K, whatever the f***. But I fucking loved Blitz the league. and street football where the two like street was incredible where it was like arena football and it was all like NFL players but they were all just like backyard style dudes and you could like run and do backflips
Starting point is 00:30:11 on dude blitz Nintendo 64 was so fun dude NFL bliss hell marry power bomb NBA NBA jam where you hit stick somebody and it shows like the x-rays of their ribs cracking and shit
Starting point is 00:30:24 oh dude it was brutal it would show like spleen rupturing and stuff and you'd injure people and get him out of the game. And then you could actually, in manager mode, you could put different players on different steroids and performance enhancers. And then if you got caught, you'd get fined. Hell yeah. And all kinds of
Starting point is 00:30:41 shit. It was awesome. What do you mean baines on steroids? Just breaking people in half. He's like got active like syringe things. Just on two minute intervals. Dude, NBA Jam. I don't know. Cody probably played that one. I don't know if you guys.
Starting point is 00:30:56 I didn't. Did anyone play? No. A lot of football. NBA Jam was the small bodies, big heads, and you could do like the insane donks and everything. I never played any of the sports games. I played actually NASCAR Thunder. I did play that when I was a kid,
Starting point is 00:31:10 that racing game. Me and my brother would play like co-op mode where we had this arrangement where I would try to win the race and he would race the opposite direction and just smack all the other cars that were in like second and third place. Holding them back. Kamikaze.
Starting point is 00:31:24 I don't know. We were poor as fuck. We played the demo discs a lot. It would suck. Like Jet Moto. you remember Jetmodo? Oh, dude, yep. Crash Bandicoot, just like one level.
Starting point is 00:31:34 We could only play one level at a ton because we were so dirt poor. Yeah. We used to rent, I would remember, dude, kids that afforded videos game was a wild concept to me. Like my buddy Casey always had new ones.
Starting point is 00:31:45 They called them the rich kids too, right? Yeah. Holy shit, they bought that. Because we rented it $3.15. I will always remember how much it costs to rent a video game because I would save up pennies and quarters. And now I look back.
Starting point is 00:31:57 I was that dickhead kid that would go and be like, okay, there's four quarters. I'm like, oh, man, why did my dad let me do that? The, uh, got, when Xbox 360, like the Xbox Live, when they'd let you, like, download demos, so many games for my childhood. I played, I played one level, two levels of it, whatever they gave you for free on the demo.
Starting point is 00:32:18 That's what I was playing. I was pissed. I would buy a video game and then take it home and beat it in two days and then bring it back and try to return it. And they wouldn't let you return it. because obviously. So then I would just go and this, for whatever reason, video games weren't behind the glass case yet or I was buying like not the new video
Starting point is 00:32:39 game. So I would go into the store like an hour before, grab all the copies of that game, hide them and then go in and be like, I need to return this one. It's broken. And the policy was you can only return it for the same copy of the game. And I'd be like, okay, cool. Yeah, you guys are sold out of that game. Well, then we can only give you store credit.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Sounds great. Getting a different game. Oh, shit. You were committing a game hack. You were committing retail theft like I was. I'm not proud of it. That wasn't retail theft. It was retail manipulation.
Starting point is 00:33:09 Back in the day. So we didn't have GameStop when I was young. We had electronic boutique. Yep. I don't know if you got EBE games. Never heard of that. And so they would let people bring their used PC games in. And so I would go and I would open up the cases and memorize the key.
Starting point is 00:33:28 Oh. And then I would go unlock it at home and just like... Memorize it? Yeah. You'd write it down or just... Yeah, I would write it down. Okay, I was going to say, I'm like, are you fucking rain man? Holy shit.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Yeah, no, because it was 16, I think it was 16 digits. So yeah, I would either write it down, like, write it on my hand like I was being all sneaky and go home and unlock it and play it. I forgot about that. Straight up, straight up stealing. I don't feel good about that. Those poor guys, when they actually bought it, went home, entered that key. It was like, this game's already even purchased. Like, Motherfri.
Starting point is 00:33:57 We were talking about it. it yesterday. The, the old cheat code books. Oh, yeah. Dude, game shark. Yeah. Micro-transactions stole that from my children. The game shark stuff? Just cheat codes in general. You know what I mean? Because now they're never going to be like, yeah, buy this book for $7.99 to unlock all this cool shit. It's going to be, give me $20 to unlock the infinite money glitch or whatever the fuck it is. If you think about it, the cheat code books were just like the first micro transaction. They were just third party. Yeah, which is fair. Yeah. I mean the developers had to put it in the game. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:34:29 I miss when developers did cool shit like that. Like now it just seems like, I don't know. They don't really do it as much. I'm trying to think if they do anything. Like first person shooters, you'd have golden eye. You would beat the levels faster and you'd unlock like infinite ammo, golden gun,
Starting point is 00:34:44 do all that. They don't have any of that shit anymore. You'd be Collie duty. You'd just be Call of Duty. Well, I think that's what happens now when you have people that are making games that don't like making games. They're doing because it's a job,
Starting point is 00:34:56 not because it's something that's actually fun. And then like outside. investors that don't actually give a shit about the game, they just want to have as much money as possible. That's how you get like weird shit in Call of Duty where it's like, we're going to bring in Delta Force operators and the best shooters in the world and we're going to put the little bubble suits on them and we're going to get all the appropriate body mechanics so it's hyper realistic and then we're going to sell a Nicky Minaj skin. I was just going to do that exactly. You know what I mean? Like realistic jiggle physics. I'm glad that Nikki Minaj's giant ass is running exactly how
Starting point is 00:35:26 a tier one operator would. And she's clearing the room in a pink skirt. Homer Simpson just smoked Nicki Minas. And we hate it, but it obviously works because they're making a lot of fucking money. I quit playing cod for like 10 years. And then I got, I got it again when I got hurt because I couldn't even play PC
Starting point is 00:35:43 because I couldn't bring my hands apart. So I could only play Xbox. So I was playing Cod. And I was like, what is this? I was playing Modern Warfare 2 when I quit in like high school. And now I'm getting smoked by Donatello with a sword. I was like,
Starting point is 00:35:56 what the fuck? is happening in this game if you were to start a business this holiday season what would you create would it be an idea you just can't stop thinking about oh always think about it 24-7 a dream about it regularly what are you dreaming about you know you've heard the screams well you can make that dream a reality with shopify Connor how is the fish pants business going well I've run into some struggles I don't know how to get it off the ground oh today we are talking about Shopify oh Thank God you inform me because I haven't been listening to this. Same.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Connor, did you know Shopify is the platform for record-breaking? Record-breaking what? Reliable holiday selling season at every stage. They also have a mobile app that can let you run your website from anywhere. From your telephone? The very same. I need 15 more pairs of fish pants. Stat.
Starting point is 00:36:49 There is a reason. So many businesses thrive on Shopify. Why is that? Well, Shopify checkout with ShopPay actually converts up to 3. 86% higher than the competitors. Does that mean more customers actually buy? It does indeed. You can easily sell anywhere people shop.
Starting point is 00:37:05 You know what you got to do, though? You got to launch that business you're thinking about before Black Friday. Launching before Black Friday means you can take advantage of all the extra online traffic. There's a lot on Black Friday. Usually an uptook about 4x. Christmas. And you can go to Shopify.com slash unsubbod for your free trial. Go to Shopify.com slash unsubbubbod to hear your.
Starting point is 00:37:26 First, sound effect, Cheching, Shopify, sale sound. When does this episode come out? Whenever we feel like it, we can put it where we want. Let me see. I could probably say this. I'll say that there's a chance. There's a chance that me and my shop boys are going to be credited
Starting point is 00:37:49 in the new Call of Duty game that comes out. Oh, no shit. Yeah, because we did some of the help with some of the sound design. So that's kind of cool. Actually, I didn't sign shit. shit. I don't know. I think I can say that. There's probably, there's probably a chance. I don't know. We'll see. We'll see what happens. We'll see what happens. But they were all really cool. All the guys were really neat. The guy that I was working with in particular was extremely cool
Starting point is 00:38:11 and everything like that. Especially because that was, I don't know, we recorded some stuff for even the AK50 if they were going to use that potentially in the future. So that's neat. I don't know. That's awesome. Did you guys go down and like rack everything, go through all the. Yeah. So they needed some help with some guns that they didn't have on site. I'll keep the details kind of vague because I don't want to get anybody in trouble, but they needed certain guns that weren't there available. So they asked me and I grabbed a couple of the collection. And it was just racking noise like, you know, magazine in, magazine out,
Starting point is 00:38:42 running the bolt, running the bolt with a live round. And they had like a billion microphones all spread out in like 10 yard increments, 20 yard increments, like getting the sound, firing, firing a burst, like just getting all of the sound so that they can, They can use the sound in the game like they're triangulating it. It's really kind of neat. It was a really cool setup. I'm so glad that the HK slap is going to be accurate while Nikki Minaj is doing it.
Starting point is 00:39:07 Correct. It's going to sound just like Nikki Minaj slapping an Mb5 shot. A thing that I am certain has never happened. They, I mean, League of Legends, they make $1.8 billion off of skins alone. Are you fucking kidding? It's a free game. Yeah, it's a free game. And they're humongous.
Starting point is 00:39:26 free game they made 1.8 billion dollars off of just skin cells I do like when a game does that it's like hey this adds nothing it doesn't make you more competitive it does it make you more competitive it does nothing other than aesthetic which is like okay fine whatever that's what we're like again
Starting point is 00:39:42 going back to uh it's not pay to win yeah scavlines one thing we're all against and the developers they were so worried because February was rolling around and the game wasn't ready yet and they would email or call and like Eli, hey, I'm like, we don't, you're good.
Starting point is 00:39:58 Take, you're right the first time. Just do a good job. We are quite fine. They're like, okay, are you sure? And then finally, now it's coming out. And they're super fucking stuff. It's nice to work with a team that understands too that, because like we're, they want us on board for marketing, obviously.
Starting point is 00:40:13 But the first step of marketing is the product. And if the product fucking sucks, it's hard for us to sell. It's like making sure we get it right the first time. It's like that's step number one. One of our friends was telling me with the boys, they had the video game a team an actual team had been working on a video game for them for three years money invested into this all this work and then they let them play it and it is a you can pick one of their characters or the little brush i guess off of one of their viral content or memes and you just kick each other in the balls and then you have to buy more kicks to the balls if you want to kick your friend in the balls more and that was the entire game Good God. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:57 It was like, dude, this is the dumbest shit. We've wasted how much money on this, these people developing this? Where did the money go? They've, yeah, they have had a couple of bad. It sounds like embezzlement. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I feel like you can get AI to write you a dog shit script for that in like 10 minutes for free.
Starting point is 00:41:19 They've had a couple of problems. Like talking to him the other week, I was like, oh, damn. They had a really cool soap line. Oh, that's not launching. They were in a whole bunch of, And like all done and they're like here's the product and then packaging and they're like, huh? What?
Starting point is 00:41:38 I don't know. I feel like a lot of way too many influencers are doing that shit now. Like anybody that gets their 15 minutes of fame, they're just like immediately selling like a dog shit product. Mean coin. White late. Yeah, either the talk to a coin or whatever. Yeah. That worked out well.
Starting point is 00:41:50 I called that shit six months before it happened on Zach's podcast. No shit. I did. I was like, I guarantee you somebody's, I was like she blew up too fast too quick. Somebody's going to take advantage of her. and then like three months later she comes out with Hawk to a coin and Zach text me just the news thing of he's like you called it and I was like it was the the fucking Wendigoon podcast we did where are the tokens Haley I don't know about that one you were on that podcast it was a oh I thought you were on a
Starting point is 00:42:17 windigoo podcast and it's like what the no no it's it's it's I don't know it's just frustrating because they immediately figure out like how do we make as much money as possible in the in the short term which is exactly what causes you to have short-term fame. Like if you just built an audience that trusted you to not do dog shit like that, you can extend it a lot longer. I mean, we've been offered that multiple times. And I've had people that are like,
Starting point is 00:42:42 for example, but this one's not, Eli, you got to trust me on this one. I was like, fuck, no. I think we could say it.
Starting point is 00:42:47 We turned down like a million dollar deal for an NFT. Like somebody offered us like a million dollars to do that. And we're like, no, that's dog shit. Like it's a rugpole. We're not going to do that to our fucking people. Fuck no. I don't know. We've turned down a lot of like a lot of deals that people would be like,
Starting point is 00:43:02 what? It's like, nah, we're good. Nope. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. Meme coins are one thing I will never understand. It's not worked out a single fucking doge, maybe, arguably. That's about it. I bought in a doge at the peak. Right before the SNL thing. Oh, it was $0.70. It was like, I bought it at like 36 cents or something like that, and it was right before the SNL thing where it didn't get mentioned. I heard all the hype and I'm like,
Starting point is 00:43:26 I'll throw $1,000 on that. I think it's currently worth like 80, 80 bucks. I'm diamond hands, brother. It's going to come back. Where some see heroes and others see egos. Bloomberg sees the era of billionaire athletes. While others follow the noise, we follow the money. Learn more at Bloomberg.com.
Starting point is 00:43:50 I don't know. I don't even think I own it anymore. Like, fuck. The whole fucking, the whole meme coin shit, I've just been, you know, Bitcoin. fine. You're opening your Robin Hood account right now. I kind of want, because I made, oh, green number. Nice. I made money on Doge, actually.
Starting point is 00:44:09 Did you? Yeah, dude. I can tell you, something happened to one of our, hey, it was a good day today. Is that how is Doge you own? You, um, can I say how much you made? Oh shit, maybe I didn't make money. You made eight cents. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:44:29 It's a great, yeah, you're, oh, fuck me, okay. So I didn't know one thing can happen with shares. You know, they can split. Reverse splits, yeah. I didn't know it can happen in the bad way. Oh, yeah, you're right. I lost $600. Yeah, BNCC did in the bad way.
Starting point is 00:44:45 Yeah, I didn't know that. Yeah, they did that. BRCC split. They pulled, it's worth even less now. Really? Yeah. Per share, but they have to give you more shares. But yeah, they basically have to do it because,
Starting point is 00:44:58 to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange you have to stay above a dollar and if you fall below a dollar for 30 days they can delist you so at that point a company will do a reverse split like 15 to 1 so then they basically every 15 shares becomes one share and then it 15 X's the value
Starting point is 00:45:21 of the shares so you're up above a dollar again but it's also like the signal of fucking we're dying so then the stock tanks immediately. That's okay. I guess the reasoning behind it because I was like, I think it's a 90 day window. You have to stay above a dollar. I think it's 30.
Starting point is 00:45:37 Yeah. 30 or 90 regardless. But yeah, I was like, man, I bet they did that because then now that number is magically 10 times higher. Yeah. But it just, it keeps them afloat until that tank. The company's not doing any better. Yeah. Versus the other way.
Starting point is 00:45:56 It's like dope. We're just getting more. out in the marketplace and your your stock is not worth more or right right it's like cutting a candy bar in half in each package you're like we're selling twice the candy bars it's like well i mean no no no you're not finance people what would we do without them is there is there oh god what would we do without the fucking financial experts in the economist probably starve if i knew anything what's that what's that what's that god if somebody we're if the finance factors factories closed down. What would we all do?
Starting point is 00:46:30 The farmers and the people who build things. Oh, no. The joke about like two economists sitting there hanging out and they see a pile of dog and one of them's like, I'll give you $100 if you eat that pile of dog shit. And then he does it and he gives him $100. And then they see another pile of dog shit. And the other one's like, okay, your turn. I'll give you $100 if you eat that pile of dog.
Starting point is 00:46:52 And then they're like, we both just made $100. Finance. Finance. stonks. No, we created two jobs, though. We created two jobs and everybody made $100. The GDP explained. Yeah, pretty much.
Starting point is 00:47:08 I haven't watched that. What's the movie? The big short. Big short. Yeah. It's a great movie. Dude, when you see all that that unfold and you're like, oh, and then isn't it proven that you can throw darts at a board and it will have pretty
Starting point is 00:47:24 much the same outturn? I don't know. What is the, what's the guy, is it Michael Burry, the guy that called that? Yeah, Michael Burry. I'm so annoyed by him. It's not even necessarily him, but it's just like, because I pay attention to the stock market and shit. And it's every other fucking week. I was going to say, he's been wrong about like the past four crashes.
Starting point is 00:47:44 He's accurately predicted one of the last 57 crashes. And he, well, it's kind of like the Alex Jones syndrome. We're like, he'll just say a bunch of crazy shit. And then at the once every while, while. It's like, oh, well, he's wrong. It's like, well, we're not looking to the ratio of wrong versus right here. You're just like, like, oh, he was right about this one thing on a fucking Hail Mary. It's like, oh, he's obviously some sort of profit.
Starting point is 00:48:07 It's like, no, it's just if you say enough shit for eight hours a day, you're eventually going to be right about some of it. Well, that, but like, it's just the way the news portrays it. Every week there's a new article. Michael Burry, the man that accurately predicted the 2008 housing crisis and is a star of the movie, the big short, just predicted the next AI bubble pop or whatever the fuck. he's predicting next. And it's just like, oh, Batman's autistic.
Starting point is 00:48:29 Okay. Yeah, that's, I mean, you're not wrong. Is that the movie simplified? Oh, yeah,
Starting point is 00:48:39 now I just got that joke. I watched it, I watched it two days ago with John. Oh, did you really? Yeah. It's a good movie. Dude,
Starting point is 00:48:48 it's an incredible movie. You got old Steve, what's his dick in? Steve Carroll. Steve Carroll's in it. Foghallel. hilarious. Oh,
Starting point is 00:48:55 what's the guy? I'm just. off my tits. Oh, I know who you're talking about. I don't know his name now. We got Ryan Gosling in it too. Yeah, Ryan Gosling. Yeah, he's in it.
Starting point is 00:49:03 The exact person we were talking about. I had no idea what that reference was. That's his line in that movie. God, 2000. I'm jazzed off my tits. I don't remember it. I'm scared of the next crash. You're our quant, by the way.
Starting point is 00:49:15 You remember he's like, his name's Yang. The Asian guy. He's our quant. He doesn't even speak. Look at him. He doesn't even speak English. He won math to fish.
Starting point is 00:49:24 He won a national math championship. It cuts to want. He looks at him. He's like, I don't know why he says that. He says it because it makes him trust me more. And I play second in the actual competition. He's like, my name's John. I don't know why he does that.
Starting point is 00:49:42 What were you saying? I was just the next crash scares me because it might actually affect me this time. I was too poor in 2008 when I was a kid in middle school. All the adults are freaking out except for my parents. And I was like, I don't know. Nothing, literally nothing in my life changed at all. I just joined the military. Like nothing happened.
Starting point is 00:50:03 I just got out and I was, I just got out. So I was like, oh, I'm going to go to college. I'm going to try that thing out. And then I'll get unemployment. Well, I figure this out. And then, yeah, everyone's freaking out. I didn't really give a shit at that time. I was like, I got my money coming in.
Starting point is 00:50:21 I mean, I was a kid. And it was my parents had just, they had just started a business, right? Because like when I grew up, it was like one bedroom apartment. My dad was working like a couple fast food jobs. Like very like dirt floor poor kind of shit. But he had just started a mortgage company. And so it was just starting to see some success. Like was starting to do really well for himself, right?
Starting point is 00:50:40 Were your brothers around during this time? They were too young. I was, I was honestly a little young. I was like, 12. I don't know. Can you tell me the exact number of years that they were. Fuck you, dude. They fuck off.
Starting point is 00:50:54 Really? We're still butt hurt about that? 20 years ago. Anyway, it wasn't last year. Fuck you. But it was when they first started seeing a little bit of success with that and like we were starting to do well. And my mom was doing like, you know, she was in the real estate, you know, industry.
Starting point is 00:51:14 And my dad was too. And then they were ground zero for the housing market crash. And so like everything they had just built up for like a couple of years immediately got taken away. my dad, I talked to him about it later and he was just like, yeah, he's like we tried not to scare you kids, like we tried to isolate you from it a little bit, but we were like having serious conversations
Starting point is 00:51:35 as to whether or not it was time to just sell everything we owned and invest in canned food and shotguns. Like it was bad, bad. Were they investing in properties and then the market just got taken out from under? Not too much at the time, but everything they were doing was reliant on the housing market. Like they weren't doing well
Starting point is 00:51:51 enough that they were investing in a bunch of like homes and shit, but like it was basically Basically, like, their entire revenue source just took a shit for night. I never thought of my dad. We were all poor. So, but, well, that was, that was what was really formative for me as a teenager is to see my parents lose it all. And then when I was finally old enough to understand what was going on, watching them
Starting point is 00:52:12 rebuild it. It would be like if China launched a hack and fucking crippled YouTube for us. Oh. Yeah. I mean, yeah. We woke up. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:52:21 Bad news. YouTube died last night. Fuck. I got to call my old boss. Anybody got a Klonopin? Well, that fucking happened to me, man, back in 2017. The apocalypse. The apocalypse with PewDiePie.
Starting point is 00:52:35 I left policing to do YouTube, and then the apocalypse happened. They're just like, no, you just don't make money anymore. I was like, well, fuck, I'll be a realtor then. Dude, if just the internet just died, we're fucked. All our businesses are D to C or anything. The video game, the YouTube, I just. It's a meme where I kill my neighbors for fucking a chocolate bar, but then they turn YouTube back on. Oh, fuck.
Starting point is 00:53:03 It was nine in the morning. They literally said it would be down up by the end of the day. Why are you wearing his skin? What kind of shopper are you? I'm the kind that gets bags. Stop being a . And we're four seconds in. Four seconds into the head.
Starting point is 00:53:23 But you can't say bitty. Baguette is how it's pronounced. Ah, you getting into running. You look like you're getting into running. Oh, I'm always into running. That's why you got the Fabletics t-shirt. Who are you running after? Evidence washes out of Fabletics clothes so easily.
Starting point is 00:53:36 Look at that movement. Very stretchy. Yeah, you can do all sorts of activities in that. I have goosebumps. You have goosebumps because it feels so good? I do. And you know what? People typically think that lower prices mean lower quality.
Starting point is 00:53:50 But not in the case of fabletics. What the f*** are you doing? I'm a ninja. That's unsettling. Yeah, I don't like that. So if you ever wanted to be Roershack from the Watchman, you can try out Fabletics. And you can see through it so you can hold up the convenience store. Starting point is 00:55:03 What would we do? I mean, would you go back to policing after? No, dude. What are you going to go? You know the best thing that we could all do, consultants. For what? YouTube's gone. We can be the fat electrician for colleges talking about the internet.
Starting point is 00:55:20 Marketing is going to exist for. ever. We could all be... Oh, come on. Not in the way that we know how to do it. I'm not Don Draper from Mad Men. You just... We can still do digital stuff. You just gotta be a fucking polished turd about it. Act like you know what you're fucking doing.
Starting point is 00:55:33 We're all charismatic, you know. Charismatic. Charismatic. Charismatic. There it is. There you go. How many years? I'm like that. Encrypted charisma. No, but I mean, we legitimately, like, we would know how to do all this stuff.
Starting point is 00:55:49 Plus, all of us came from, like, actual trades. I wouldn't want to go back to, like, real estate or any of the shit I did before, but I could do it. If I really had to. I love going to do that. There's always going to be that, apparently. Pays like shit. Yeah. I don't know if I get free housing.
Starting point is 00:56:05 Can I say, like the Muslims still have oil. You're never going to believe it. Oh my God. God, there was some comedian that was like, everybody. He's freaking out because a barrel of oil costs $100. And he's like, I don't know. It seems reasonable. I don't know if I could buy just a barrel for $100 on fucking Facebook marketplace.
Starting point is 00:56:33 You're getting a full of oil for a hundred bucks. You're freaking out. We had to go over there and kill a million months to get it and then ship it across an ocean. You're mad it costs more than a gallon of milk. What are we talking about? Have you seen Have you seen the Indians fighting over barrels
Starting point is 00:56:54 In the river? No What? They're always fighting over scrap metal or whatever It's before or after They get hit by the train I just
Starting point is 00:57:01 I just pictured Put them into the water And then they were trying to fight over Barrels I just pictured the A locomotive jumps out of the water Like an alligator Fucking hits one
Starting point is 00:57:09 It's a It's It's natural Predator They fly now You hear the train horn but it's muffled underwater You see the bubbles And here we have a rare variety of the aquatic train
Starting point is 00:57:35 It's this On diesel engine Oh I've seen the fucking naked gun bit Oh no Yeah up through the woods again. If there's the next war India gets involved
Starting point is 00:57:58 with the drones are going to be remote control trains. Jason people. Just the RC trains with good God. It's like RCXD on a track. There's, you know how like Ukraine? They have the, it looks like spider webs all over the field,
Starting point is 00:58:14 but it's the guide wires for the drones. It's just a little, little miniature train tracks all over the place. I thought doing the cop stuff would get me more hate than anything. And it does. I still get called very awful things. People threaten my family. People swap me all the time.
Starting point is 00:58:33 But there was one rule that came across my feed. And it was a dude cutting an onion in half and rubbing it on his armpit. And I say shit just to make people mad on Instagram all the time. I was like, it's not much, but it's honest work. Yeah. I said Indian morning routine. And oh my God. There's so many squiggly line messages.
Starting point is 00:58:49 They're so mad at me. You know what? You can't actually deal psychic damage to me if I choose not to click the translate button. What are these hieroglyphs? Oh, man. Good times. I don't know. I would be, I would not want to go back to the army.
Starting point is 00:59:11 That would be my go back to for military. I'm sorry. I just, dude. I just realized something very funny. There's a very outspoken. Texas-wide politician right now on removing H-1Bs. And I just now realize I'm going to an event of his later on tonight. His name's Bo French.
Starting point is 00:59:26 He's actually partially in the gun industry. The thing is U.O. arms, whoever's doing the new MP7 clones. Oh, yeah. I got one of those coming. Beau French. He's an awesome dude, but he's very, very, you know, up on, like, illegal immigration and making sure that we deport, you know, illegals and a lot of the H-1B Indians out of Texas. So he's anti-H-1B.
Starting point is 00:59:48 Do you know what his position is that he's running for? Texas Railroad Commissioner. I just put that together right now. What do you think about that, Nick? I'm good. Oh, God. Love you, Bo. Fuck.
Starting point is 01:00:16 It's one of these posters. Sorry to derail this, but. I mean, events do you have coming up? I'm just thinking about his campaign posters. It should just be a train that says H-1B on the front of it. It's like a scarecrow. It's Thomas the train engine in public domain yet.
Starting point is 01:00:45 We can make some funny propaganda. Ain't no trademark on a train with a face. Oh, yeah. Speaking of, you've been sued? yet? Oh, by Bucky's? Bucky?
Starting point is 01:00:59 I feel like I was very reasonable in that video. I gave them every out in the world. No, I have not. People are still very upset, though. What's the views on that? It's like $2 million in three days. It was absurd. That's a one out of ten?
Starting point is 01:01:12 Uh-huh. By a lot. Shit ya. Where some see heroes and others see egos. Bloomberg sees the era of billionaire athletes. A fad to some, the future of money to others. We see crypto's trillion dollar swings, the end of jobs, or the end of human struggle. We see the endless funds fueling the AI hype.
Starting point is 01:01:37 While others follow the noise, we follow the money. Learn more at Bloomberg.com. Video went pretty hard. Yeah, I think we're both actually doing pretty good on that. We just, I launched the new Darwin yesterday, sitting at 1.6 million right now. Do you say anything about the Freddie? Yeah, a lot of people are like, I was not expecting a Freddie Wong cameo, but I'm excited for it nonetheless. I haven't watched yet. Freddy's in that?
Starting point is 01:02:03 Yeah, we were sitting at brunch. And I was just telling him that I included a clip of Freddie in there. And I explained like, oh, this is fake. It's Freddie Wong. The watermelon when he has, he, the 50 cow shoots the watermiling off of Freddy's head. Yeah. So I'm like, there's a lot of indicators that this might be fake. The main one is, this is Freddie Wong.
Starting point is 01:02:25 It's like he's a famous VFX artist. He probably wouldn't do anything like that. Eli texts Freddie while we're sitting at the table. He's like, you want a Freddie cameo in that real quick? I'm like, fuck it. Yeah, if we could get one, that would be awesome. So Freddie texts this back. No, no VFX, Brandon.
Starting point is 01:02:42 It's real. Like, that's everybody's like flashbang by the Freddie Wong cameo. Yeah, Brandon's like, what the fuck? I was like, first said he'll do it. I was like, oh shit. Yeah, fuck yeah. We'll throw that in the video. I like, fuck yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:55 ready. I was wondering how that would do. The video's crushing those so I could take well all the new videos apparently are doing really good. Hey, YouTube changed something with the algorithm. How they count views different or something. They came out and said that. So I think that's part of it. I had my first million on crime is fun. Which one? Yeah, fuck it, man. The Lindsay Clancy case. That tracks. Dumb-the that strangled her three children and has raised over a million dollars. Is there a big push to start registering exercise bands yet? What? What?
Starting point is 01:03:31 That's the argument, isn't it? They're dangerous. No, no. They're dangerous to children. They're treating it. Like, there was, who is, shoe on head was saying this could be like an OJ.
Starting point is 01:03:40 If she goes free, it's good God. There's no way. They've been in deliberation for three days. There's nine females. Really? They've been in deliberation for three days. So everybody's like,
Starting point is 01:03:50 there's three dudes in there trying to explain to nine women that. Oh. in fact cannot murder his children because you feel sad. I feel like that's a, that's a bad jury. Talk about jury of your peers. I don't know. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:04:06 I don't know who picked that jury, but having nine women on there for this. That's why they, yeah, they've been in deliberation for three days. They started again this morning. They let them have the weekend off. So we're still waiting around to see what happens.
Starting point is 01:04:18 They want to, I think so. Which is insane. This, at this time, it's like, well, it's fucking crazy.
Starting point is 01:04:25 They're saying the, Like there are all these crazy bitches on, on fucking social media or saying the dad did it. And it's like, no, there is CCT footage of him like going and picking up the food. She sent him away to get food. She knew how far away the restaurant was. She Googled it that morning. He went to get food. He went to CVS to pick up something, then came back.
Starting point is 01:04:45 She knew the exact amount of time he was going to be gone. Her Apple Watch shows her heart rate choking the children because it took four minutes to choke each one. And then she had to chase the last one down upstairs. Good God. And so it shows her heart rate going up the stairs and the location she was at in their house to choke the last one. Like she's an evil fucking shit that should be executed. And she admitted to it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:07 That's what I thought. Like the FBI psychiatrist, the profiler and like said, yeah, she fucking did it. She said she did it. Like her defense attorney said she fucking did it. There are some women on this planet that no matter what empirical evidence, and you know, some men to this degree. But in this regard, it's specifically women that you could be. be faced with as much empirical empirical evidence as you
Starting point is 01:05:30 can muster that like this is what happened. We have video. We have her admitting it. We have this, this, this, this. There's literally nothing pointing to the contrary. They'll still go, nah. I just don't believe that. And I'm like, cool. Don't care. That's what happened. Like I can run
Starting point is 01:05:46 for Congress but can't actually run. Well, that wasn't even related. That was just a low blow. I just I don't know. I need to hear more on Cody's. I haven't watched Cody's video on that one. Telling it, it's not good.
Starting point is 01:06:01 Well, the OJ thing. I don't know if you were on the podcast. I think we had Joe and Rich on and I brought it up that like this is a massive blow to feminism. Whether they realize it right now or not. Explain. Like, I feel like one of the,
Starting point is 01:06:17 you know, arguably one of the good things feminism did is like, you know, there's the old, uh, stupid guy joke about how like, oh, a woman can't be president because she'll get her you didn't start World War III.
Starting point is 01:06:26 And then it's like, you can't judge women and say that they're emotional and their hormones, regulate their opinions and blah, blah, blah, blah. It's like, okay, I agree. But also you can't turn around and be like, well, her hormones were crazy. So she murdered her kids.
Starting point is 01:06:40 So she's innocent. They can't have both. Right. You either can't have accountability because of something like that. Or you have accountability all the time. Right. There's no in between. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
Starting point is 01:06:52 Yeah. So I don't know. I just feel like it's a. pointing out hypocrisy of like I I want to not be held accountable when it's convenient. Right. It's like give us a standard. And like that's that's my big thing. It's like just not being a hypocrite. It's like consistent. Give us a consistent standard. Are you accountable for this or are you not? There is a very consistent standard. I don't want accountability. That's the standard. What what kills me about it too is like the women making all the videos like she's innocent.
Starting point is 01:07:22 she's innocent and they're showing their daily lives like some are even holding their babies in their video and they're like we fill you lindsay and you look in the background and it's like they have a nice home like at least a two or three bedroom home like like a beautiful life and they're like we feel you lindsay get the fuck out of here imagine being the father of that child in the tic-tok video well that's what that's a lot of people online are saying now that should be a litmus test for who you date or who you like if you're if you're dating someone or if you're if you're you're thinking about marrying someone, ask them about the Lindsay Clancy case and see what they say.
Starting point is 01:07:56 Do they think that it's not your fault if you kill your child because you had a bad day? Do you support Lindsay Clancy? If they say yes, then yeah, I would seriously just fucking leave them. That's, it's fucked up. I understand postpartner depression is a very serious issue. Yeah, absolutely. But you don't kill your fucking kids. Like the youngest one was already, I think, don't quote me on this.
Starting point is 01:08:22 I think it was like eight months or something. Like postparting depression happens in the first two months. Or like it happens soon. And then you just got to work through it and get over it. If you do have postpartner depression and I'm not a fucking psychiatrist. I'm going to say, don't listen to me. I'm not an expert on any of that stuff by any means.
Starting point is 01:08:38 But like if you, I do know this for, for a fact. Your step one should probably be seek professional help. You know, be open about like, hey, I'm having this problem.
Starting point is 01:08:47 I might be doing something that, you know, again, is crazy. Let me, let me talk to a specialist. Let me, let me talk this through instead of, well, whip out the exercise bands. Yeah. I mean, it's again, you've had three children. It's wild. Any of that. And the husband took months. He took a lot of, I think she had a nanny too. Yeah, any paternity leave. He
Starting point is 01:09:11 was staying, he was working from home to be with her. I'm also, I personally, I want to blame this on the doctors. She was working with three plus doctors and they had, they weren't talking to each other and they prescribed her 13 different medications.
Starting point is 01:09:30 Good God. And so like she probably was fucked up in the head a little bit from the doctors who weren't communicating with each other. And in court, they said they weren't communicating with each other.
Starting point is 01:09:40 They admitted that. Did they know about each other? I wonder that. Like how does, you're not allowed to release certain stuff? So how does that work? If I'm like, I'm the crazy person, I'm talking this doctor, and then I get new Mets from other doctor. It's, did the doctors know, or is it my responsibility?
Starting point is 01:09:55 Well, also your responsibility to probably tell the doctors. This is the same lady that took no response. Well, you know what I mean? They usually, they usually ask you, are you on any medication? So it was probably a good thing to bring up if they're prescribing you psychoactive or, what is it? Psychoactive. Psychoactive drugs.
Starting point is 01:10:12 Hey, you ever just wake up and felt like your mattress sucks and it beat your ass, punch you in the face. That's crazy. Does the mattress also fuck your mom? You ever wake up feeling like you slept in a swamp because you're a disgusting nasty ball sweat? I see most of you on Reddit, so I know you have. Time to break up with that mattress. Get divorced from your mattress. Get a ghost bed. Get a ghost bed. You're so strong. Well, guess what? Ghostbed just launched their new mattress line. It's designed to keep you cool, supported in all the right areas. If you catch my drift, you're a giant, hog and help you get sleep. These beds are built with its patented cooling technology, Brandon.
Starting point is 01:10:53 So you can keep your giant hog cool. Did you know they're built to last? That's right. None of that dripping year nonsense. Every mattress has a 20 or 25 year warranty. That means if I bought one today, it will outlive me before the warranty expires. I don't have much time left. Especially as much as you smoke. Way to make it real, Brandon.
Starting point is 01:11:14 Plus 101 night sleep try. Don't love it? Send that shit back. 1001 nice. That's three months risk free. They got the full setup. Adjustable bases and pillows. Buttery soft sheets, buttery. And even better, you can get 10% off site wide when you go to ghostbed.com slash unsubscribe and use code unsubscribe.
Starting point is 01:11:34 And that's on top of their everyday deals of mattresses, adjustable bases and pillows already being up to 50% off. Come on guys, what are we doing? What are we doing? Why aren't you going to, why aren't you going and using code unsubscribe? Hey, go, go, you're going. use cold onsub. What's happening? What's going on? That's ghostbed.com slash unsubscribe. Use code
Starting point is 01:11:52 unsubscribe. Sleep better. Stay cooler. This is a threat. So she had several different doctors from, I think it was 2023 when she killed the children. And she was often on on Zoloft, Adavan, Trazadon, Prozac,
Starting point is 01:12:08 Kalanapin, Rimmeron, Sarah Quill, Valium, Lamectal, Atribulane, Ambien, Buespar, and Herexazine. like over the course since 2023 like before that over the course of a couple years she was on and all of those down yeah like a lot of those are like sleeping aids a lot of it was high doses too because yeah she was having trouble sleeping so they prescribed her this she was depressed so they prescribed her this like it was yeah but the the point my point i i try to
Starting point is 01:12:44 stay very neutral in the conversation in my videos, especially with crime is fun. It's a new channel. I don't want to tell everyone we should kill all violent criminals. But like I'll say it on this podcast. Just execute her. She's not contributing like she was fucked up. Yeah, but she killed three kids. Execured her. That's where I stand on that one. It's going to be 18 years, 20 something years before anything. Yeah, what are we going to do? We're going to pay for her to be in a psychiatric hospital for the next fucking, what, 50 years before she dies. Also something that's like politically s' to say, frankly, for, for a lot of of this stuff, but I'll say it because I don't give a shit, holding big pharma accountable for some
Starting point is 01:13:19 of this stuff where you're, the over-prescription, whether it comes from, you know, the VA to veterans that are struggling with mental health or issues like this where they're just like, no, we're not going to get you a psychiatrist. We're not going to get you somebody who's going to stay with you and, like, talk through your issues. We're going to give you 18 different fucking pills that are going to f*** your brain chemistry forever. It's like there's, at a certain point, there needs to be some higher level accountability because that is a major problem, whether it's, uh, some, psychoactive drugs, whether it's opioids, I mean, that's a huge issue. 90s to 2000, you had the opioid push for like everything.
Starting point is 01:13:52 You could get painkillop, pain killer pills for anything. Like military, I got out. I had lower back issues in shoulder. And the first thing they did was, oh, here's Vicodin. Here's a 90 day supply. Yeah. And oh, your post-surgery where you need it. You really need it for like three days.
Starting point is 01:14:11 But here's three months worth. Well, here is. A shit ton of Vicodin. Strong ones here. I, the week of it, and I'm like, hey, this is, like, I cannot sleep. I am wide awake. And I'm following all these pills, how it says. And they're like, oh, shit.
Starting point is 01:14:26 Oh, here's some Ambien. Huge prescription to Ambien. And I was like, aren't these both very addictive? Like, yeah, I just don't take them all that off. Yeah, just don't get addicted, loser. Literally, I, and I don't. Did they just say your addiction was a skill issue? Basically.
Starting point is 01:14:42 I was like, I'm not taking either of these things, especially when I know Ambien, you've heard of the horror stories with somebody taking Ambien and then fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking. Yeah, I've had just a with my buddy's stores and I was on a pirate ship. Like in my head, I was in my buddy's BMW. We were driving to Texas and my window. My foot stuck in the window because I was hanging out the side. And I tried to pull it in. And then my head. head I'm looking my foot stuck in the planks on a pirate ship. I'm like my foot stuck stores and he's like what I'm like my foot I can't get it out it's in the plank boat's rocking everything he's like bro pull you a foot like he helps my foot in puts it in and I'm like okay I'm going to bed now and I finally fell asleep but I was in my head good to go no I was going to say on the civilian side of that I remember some of the best times when I was a kid we didn't go out and eat much we didn't have a lot of money when my mom would come home and say the drug
Starting point is 01:15:42 reps were here today and she'd bring like steak home or like something from a restaurant like olive garden or something like that we'd be so psyched that the drug reps were in town because they would take the nurses out to restaurants and buy them like beautiful steak dinners like they would treat the doctors well just because they were trying to they wanted them to push their specific drugs so they would like treat all the nurses very well so the nurses would go in there and be like oh you should try this that's fuck that's bribe it's bribing people to take chemicals their body doesn't really need and my mom didn't know that at the time of course she was just like oh yeah pharmaceutical they're helping she's a nice lady and it's it's all about making money it's what
Starting point is 01:16:20 uh was Viagra was a heart pill there's a heart medication with the offset of it's making people's dickards and then they would get the the trial period end but they wouldn't send the uh the leftovers back to the doctors and they're just keeping me like what the fuck why why did you keep the rest it's a vasodilator yeah he's like well he's a fucking i guess i'm my wife. He's like, huh. Good God. What's your next?
Starting point is 01:16:47 Crime is fun. I think I'm doing bad cops next. So bad cops, bad cops. Just police officers who, who, you know, took their line of duty. They started being a cop
Starting point is 01:16:59 just to do bad shit. Like, there have been serial killers, there have been professional robbers. Well, that new dude that just came out the other day, or it just came out, the guy that was using the flock cameras
Starting point is 01:17:09 for all that shit. Yeah, yeah. A lot. It looked like Shane Gillis? Wait, what? Was it in our group chat? Yeah. Cops are getting busted a lot.
Starting point is 01:17:21 It was Florida Deputy of the Ear used flock to stalk his ex, held a gun in her mouth, and posed doing a Nazi salute. It was the headline. And people immediately made him Shane Gillis. But that's, yeah. It was not a hard photo shot.
Starting point is 01:17:39 That was a very easy photo show. There's already been, at least in national headlines, at least three or four cops who have been busted stalking like exes and ex-wives and stuff using flock cameras. No need to talk specifics or specific people or cases. But in your time, the police force, did you ever see people that were abusing police tools for reasons like that? I never saw it personally. No one fucking time. It's one of those things. You always have to wonder, like, how prevalent it is.
Starting point is 01:18:09 I never saw it one time. We had a, I think it was 120 plus sworn officers at my department. I never saw one moment. It's a pretty big police department. Yeah, of an officer, like, actually using their tools for bad. There was a lot of female police officers who just fucking sucked and, like, put other people in danger. But I never saw someone purposefully being bad, like, stealing or using any of the tools to, like, stalk an X or anything like that. That's a bit more rare thing.
Starting point is 01:18:40 Even my entire unit, the unit that replaced us, or my unit came back, they did another train up, went back to Iraq. When they went back is when, no, it was the unit that replaced us. That was the one that got hit with a war crime. They like, a squad was going out and murdering Afghans and then trying to cover it up. My entire, like, it rarely happens, but when it does happen, it's something like huge like that. I'm guessing police is the same thing. It's probably a few of them.
Starting point is 01:19:11 Or do they have the onesies? Yeah. Dude, I never saw that. I don't think the time I was a cop, it was approaching like three years when I quit. I never saw one person get in trouble for doing any bad shit. Yeah. But then you have like these units. I did one crime as fun.
Starting point is 01:19:31 I talked about one unit. It was in my people soup episode. You can't just hit it like that. So a guy was on a, it was a traffic stop. The guy had some like minor warrants theft, whatever. He ran and he went to a local supermarket and he was hiding from the cops and he climbed down in a pillar. And he, like, they couldn't find him. And he ended up dying in the pillar.
Starting point is 01:19:55 It's California in the middle of summer. So he just baked inside of it. And like his body fluids started coming out in front of the supermarket down through the pillar. Like one of the large pillars he would see in front of like, if you're in the south, like a Kroger or something, you know, they make them look all fancy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so, like, his body fluids started coming out. I remember that case. Years after a woman sued her ex-boyfriend, who was one of the guys chasing that dude,
Starting point is 01:20:22 and she said he used to brag about. He knew that the guy was in the pillar, and they just said, fuck him and, like, left. Didn't try to pull him out. Didn't call the fire department or anything. And so that guy's family, plus the woman is suing. LAPD because she claims, and this is all allegedly, that he would brag about, like he knew the guy was in the pillar when they were chasing him and they were just like, me, an idiot.
Starting point is 01:20:52 And so it's, it's, it's, it's, what was the one of they chasing him for? He, he was, it was, it was, it was a traffic stop and like, he had some warrants for like, it was something silly. I don't quote me on this. It was, it was like something he would be in jail for two. nights for it's one thing if he was a file or some shit but if it was like yeah you i don't you fucking you didn't pay a parking ticket it's like there's there's there's there's levels of this shit it's he's he knew he had warrants and he bailed out and yeah so like she's stating he used to come home and
Starting point is 01:21:25 brag about like he knew the dude was just like cooking in that pillar and it's an it's an ongoing civil suit right now what a fucked up way to go yeah dude he sat there he he he took him i think six days to die. Jesus. Like, dude was just down in this fucking concrete pillar. There was the serial killer cop that just, the Golden State Killer. Oh, that's, I think he's one of those in the script that I'm writing right now for That one's crazy because it, they, he was a retired police officer at the time.
Starting point is 01:21:55 He was like in his 70s and then I forget how it happened. I think it was a family member had a marker hit and they're like, whoa, this is like father or someone related to you is connected to all these killings. It's like, oh, I think his dad was a police officer. And then that one. That one's fucking. Was it a DNA hit? Because I know one cop.
Starting point is 01:22:21 Like, he killed a lot of fucking people. And it was in 70s and 80s? Jesus Christ. Yeah, committed at least 13 murders, nearly 50, over 100 burglaries across California, between 76 and 806. 10-year period. And they quit. He was known earlier.
Starting point is 01:22:38 as the East Area Arriss in the original Nightstalker. Fuck me. How old was he? Yeah, this is the DNA guy. Arrested in 2018 using investigative genealogy matching crime scene DNA to family members. That's fucking nuts. And that's what's crazy. It was that many years.
Starting point is 01:22:55 2018 is when he got caught finally. Oh, yeah. No, he was old as shit. Wow. Wait, what was that number? Yeah, when he was sentenced? 74 years old. Yep.
Starting point is 01:23:07 good good guy he went i mean and he stopped in 86 right so eight from 86 till 2018 nothing that's a bizarre psychological thing too like how do you just do like become like one of the most depraved pieces of for 10 years and then just stop cold turkey i don't know what's his name he was probably i mean he's probably still doing it he just didn't have the power to do it as as well as he had been doing for the past like 13 he was a cop for 13 years some they would go through um the green river killer he stopped when his he got married and had family and like his family never knew any of that shit and then come to find out he killed like 78 hookers and then he would dump him in the green river next to this college is green river state or the green river in Washington so what'd you think
Starting point is 01:23:51 like john way like pogo the clown yep yeah yeah he was the he was he was a he was a clown at children's birthday parties and that's how he picked his victims. He ended up, I think, I'm killing like 30 young boys or something like that. But his family was like, we had no idea. Whatever happened to him? Was he, was he, uh, sentenced or did he die? I think he ended up being lethally injected. They called him. I didn't do it. Oh, these bodies, I don't know where they came, but they found like 30 bodies in his floorboards. Yeah, he had him buried under his house and shit. And he's like, they planted them there. I was going to say something funny. It was stupid. I stopped myself, but I'll still put it out there. I was like, all right, one
Starting point is 01:24:35 body's one thing, 30's another. And I'm like, no, one body's still too much. And then Dennis, that one went cold. An email is how, like he wrote a letter and they're like, no, you can sit an email. He looks like Eric Swalwell. He got caught because he sent an email. They were like, wait, if I send a CD or something, it's fine. You can't track me. And they're like, yeah, no, you can send an email. We can't track any of that. So he sent an email. Are you fucking kidding? Literal fucking idiot. Yeah. And then when they went picked him up and like, hey, the recording, because they have the interview, they know it's him, they capture him, they put him in, and he's like, I know why you're here. And then it goes into why he did everything.
Starting point is 01:25:16 He's like, yep, I've been doing that. Family didn't know. He was like a dean. He did great around the neighborhood. He raised money. Like, no one had a clue. And you're looking at the BT kid. Oh, blind torture kill, dude. And he killed 10 plus people, women. And he would just sneak in. Like he would use that, okay, I know when they're not home if they're alone, blah, blah, blah, and then BTK. Sab has you watching way too much true crime stuff. Like, you're way too well-versed on the stuff. Either that or you're planning something. Yes, 41 is my age to start.
Starting point is 01:25:49 Everything's going right. Let me fuck this up. Apparently you can just do 10 years at a time. That's what I'm hearing. May 41's where you start. You wake up and you're just like, oh, my God, I need something. I need something. Maybe an echelon.
Starting point is 01:26:04 Or maybe like a lot of people and need nicotine pouch in the morning. Just to feel human. I'm the caffeine side of things. How many of those did you need each day to stop from crashing? Well, if you are into the pouch game, perhaps.
Starting point is 01:26:21 Hold on. There might be something helpful for you. But you don't put pouches in? Well, these ones I don't mind. Because nitropics. It's right. With the adaptogens and the neutropics, you are going to be focused, hyper-focused, for a few hours, to say the least.
Starting point is 01:26:39 And it's clinically proven. Now, how does Ultra make this possible? Well, with a couple things. Infinity PX is like a clean, smoother, caffeine alternative. Lthianine. I'm hoping I'm saying that, right? A amino acid that promotes calming energy and attentiveness. Alpha GPC, neutropic for active mental, and vitamin B6 and B12, which is balanced mood and energy.
Starting point is 01:27:08 Plant powered pouches to sharpen your mind and lift your energy. And if you're fasting or dieting, this is one way to curb those cravings. Curves my sweet tooth. Ultra is the ultimate guilt-free pouch, delivering instant focus and mental clarity without nicotine or caffeine. New customers can use code unsubb. at 15% off at take ultra.com. Starting point is 01:27:45 I just did cannibalism episode on crime is fun. The Japanese dude, bro. Did you cover that? Yeah, I covered him at the end of it. But there was one guy specifically. He had been eating, killing people for years and years and years. and he went to, he acted like he was hiring someone for a job,
Starting point is 01:28:03 and he went to their house, and he met like a little girl there, a little, I think it was like five or six year old girl. And then he, you know, killed and ate her. And then he waited six years after she was dead. The family didn't know she had disappeared. And he sent a letter to the mom describing in detail how he did everything to this poor little girl.
Starting point is 01:28:22 And the letters out there, I didn't put it in there because it's fucking brutal. It's awful. What a fucking horrible thing. And so they ended- Obviously, the act is one thing, but sending that for no reason. No reason. He waited, he waited like six or seven years to send the letter. Good guy.
Starting point is 01:28:34 And the letter's fuck up. Yeah. And then that's how they called him, though. They were able to trace the stationary back to a boarding house that he had lived at at one point and just waited for him to come around and arrested him. So they traced them like to the boarding house he stayed in like years and years ago. And then they looked at all his addresses leading up to that point and ended up getting him because he sent a letter describing Yeah. Dude, a lot of them.
Starting point is 01:28:59 That one, they went, they found each other on those forums. Like a, hey, I want you to eat me. Yeah, I was just going to bring that one up. That's in that video too. The legal one? Fish. Or quote unquote legal? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:11 Fish, though, the fucked up part is like, consensual anyway. I don't think there was any real justice done because when he was dying, he was like, this is the greatest pleasure I haven't experienced yet. Like he was happy to go to the electric chair. It was fucking wild. Ah, just at a certain point, it's like, yeah. I just
Starting point is 01:29:27 whether they enjoy it or not. It's just like, you just got to get this people out of the fucking out of this ethereal plane. They found several dozen needles in his testicles like when they eventually killed him.
Starting point is 01:29:41 Good God. Try missionary. Those killers, dude, the guy that's, again, the guy that wrote in, he's like, you can eat me,
Starting point is 01:29:54 okay, and then they both. but they got him for a murder. Someone might call it kind of consensual. Yeah, just kind of, just a little bit. It's a weird case, though, because, like, wasn't that the problem, like, in the law because it was completely, like, because it was signed off on by both parties, they were like,
Starting point is 01:30:11 we actually don't have a fucking stipulation for this. Yeah, and they just, they hammered him anyway. They're like, no, you're going to jail. But he was like, well, he agreed to this. No, that's weird. Kill them both. Yeah. Like, Lee, like, one was already done.
Starting point is 01:30:25 I don't know, hassle works time, kill him. The Japanese guy, that one's crazy too. That one, tell that one. He was a quasi-ce celebrity there for a minute. What? That's the most fucked-up one, in my opinion. So he had a lot of help from his family. He came from a wealthy family, and his dad was able to get good attorneys.
Starting point is 01:30:43 He was in, I think was Sweden. Oh, I did hear about this. Yeah, he was in Sweden at the time, and he got obsessed with a young girl. Was it France? France or Paris. It was a Swedish girl in France, right? Yes, yes, there it is. Yeah, Swedish girl in France.
Starting point is 01:30:59 He got obsessed with her, invited her over to his house, killed her, ate her over the course of several days. Then he was, like, such a little bitch. He was trying to drag her body in suitcases to a lake at a public park in France and got caught because he's just dragging, like, blood trails. Yeah, blood trail. And she had been dead for, like, days.
Starting point is 01:31:18 So it was stinky, and there was just blood trails. And he got caught. And I can't remember the exact. why he was able to be deported back to, he got deported back to Japan. Well, that was the fucked up part because it was, we need to try him here. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:37 And they got him deported to try him in Japan. And Japan didn't have any laws or something that pertained to his case. It was something, it was some weird, it was, it was something, some weird technicality, but it ended up being like his family comes from a wealthy background. And so they hired like,
Starting point is 01:31:55 bunch of people to circumvent the system. And so Japan, when they got him back there, they just let him go. Wasn't it was, oh, fuck, that's insane. There's one that's kind of like that. It was like the scorpion killer or whatever. It was the guy who, they did a Netflix thing or something where he was, they were in like this coastal town and he was drugging,
Starting point is 01:32:13 uh, and killing these, uh, like young women. And then just when, whenever they were done doing what they were doing was like him and his girlfriend or wife or whatever, uh,
Starting point is 01:32:22 they would just drug the shit out of them. and then release them out into the ocean and basically let them drown. So like their body would show up days later drowned and full of drugs. And they just, oh, well, it's a tourist that went for a drug-induced swim in the ocean. Did they find the guy?
Starting point is 01:32:39 They caught him. And the way that they played it, he got expedited or excuse me, extradited to a country specifically. Like he played it so that the extradition would go here, this country, and then by the time he made it back to the final country, it was past the statute of limitations. So he'd only get like 10 years or some shit.
Starting point is 01:32:59 No shit. It was something along those lines. I'm butchering the story horribly, but it was those are the cliff notes. Roughly. Oh, okay. That's what happened with the Japanese guy. They put him in a mental institution in France. And so when they brought him back to Japan, he wasn't actually charged with a crime because they
Starting point is 01:33:18 deemed him mentally ill. And the Japanese didn't have a law for that at the time. so they let him out and he became a celebrity in Japan. Is he still alive? No, he died like, I think he was like 2012, 2009, something like that. But he was a celebrity. He would go on TV shows talking about it. He was an actual celebrity there.
Starting point is 01:33:34 The fuck is wrong with that. Hey, whatever. Japan was really fun though. Serial killer, but in Japan. The 7-Elevens were great. Fantastic. Food, amazing. Very safe. Well, now I don't really want to trust the food.
Starting point is 01:33:50 That's in France. You're good. I'm going to quit leaving Iowa. We're just scaring Nick. Nick's just going to build a call. I'm not leaving America. I might up it. Just staying in Iowa.
Starting point is 01:34:02 I've been like, sorry guys. You got me on the true crime thing. You know, that's my fucking purview. I've been watching Mind Hunters again on Netflix. That's a good fucking show, dude. I still never seen it. I hate they haven't done season three. And he's down for it.
Starting point is 01:34:15 He just has to have time. Yeah. It's really good, man. It's about, so the FBI, like, no one knew about serial killers. And so like these a couple of dudes were like, hey, there's actually people out here, like, killing people like, like, killing people. Who was the first one? It was like Ed Gein was the one that they interviewed? Was that the one? Yeah, I think, I think it was. Was it a Dean or Kemper? Kemper is the big, he's like a hyper intelligent serial killer. And that turned himself.
Starting point is 01:34:42 Was that the one with like his mom? Yep. Yeah, he would hang out at police bars. And the wife or mom's friend. Mom and mom's friend. I think somewhere there's an alternate reality where the government did something intelligent when they found out. about serial killers and they were like, um, hear me out. Let's not tell anybody. And we'll have a secret task force like the men in black that just go and handle these people because I feel like shining a light on it just made more of them. Well, that's it. Well, mine hundred, they actually talk about it.
Starting point is 01:35:10 There was a, uh, at any given time there was what, 12 or 19 in the United States active. Something like that. Yeah. And it hasn't changed too much either. Well, they didn't think that too until Kemper was like, yeah, there's so many people out there like me. There's at least this many people doing this shit.
Starting point is 01:35:27 And then at that time, you had BTK and you had a lot of those guys in California. And we talked about the lead being one of the problems. That's coincides with all of this. But I don't buy that. I hate that argument. I mean, I get it. It's like small contributing factor. But like I just, I hate that entire outlook on it.
Starting point is 01:35:47 Well, it's environmental circumstances. No, that motherfucker was going to be weird, whether there was lead in the gas or not. Oh, 100 million other people that didn't become serial killers because of the lead and the gas. Is he going to be eating homo's weird, though? I'm just saying, I hate it when people point to be like, we think this contributed 0.097% to this condition. So we're actually going to pin it on that.
Starting point is 01:36:13 I hate that. I don't know. I'm with you, dude. I think we should execute all ultra-violent criminals. Like, and the world would be a fucking really cool place that we did. Well, I guess it's weird, like, there was just this sudden spike. And, like, I don't, again, I'm not informed enough on that particular thing to be able to say intelligently. But, like, there's, there's that spike because it seems like it's fallen off.
Starting point is 01:36:34 Yeah, it did. Once you got unleaded, it's crime and then intelligence creep back up because we had lower IQ as a whole. Yeah. Well, because you have the causation correlation. The fad died. You know. Well, I feel like the fad. There's only so many ways to creatively murder a bunch of hookers.
Starting point is 01:36:48 So they're just like, oh, we caught another one. But, you know. I don't know. It's the same as the last one, so nobody's going to care. I feel like the fat has gotten exponentially more popular. Like all these women that go jogging alone in parks at night, for whatever reason, feel comfortable listening to, you know, homicide podcast of how women are brutally murdered. Like that always cracks me up. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:09 It's like they're just like, la la la, going on my jog. No, I don't need a gun. No, I'll be just fine alone at night while they're listening to stories of women being murdered. This is how you get to the, would you rather run into a man in the woods or a bear in the woods? woods thing. I'm glad that internet fad finally died. So I'm writing my first book and the first chapter is about why women are obsessed with like with serial killer crimes. I'm curious to hear your take on it. Leading experts say that it comes down to it's better to protect themselves. So naturally they listen to this so they know how to protect themselves. But like you said, they jog in the park at night time and
Starting point is 01:37:47 don't listen to the shit that they're listening to. And that of course like just, you know, moralization-wise, it's like, it's not all women. There are some that take it seriously. They don't take risks. They carry a gun or whatever. They do the appropriate things. But you know, there's half of the chicks in a CrossFit gym that just go jogging in parks at fucking, you know, five o'clock in the morning. Like, they don't, they don't take those necessary steps.
Starting point is 01:38:08 Like, what are the layers of risk to what I'm doing? Yeah. It's ridiculous. Well, but I took a women's self-defense class at the Y. Yeah, I hate to say this, but I think one. Like, and this, this ties into the Lindsay Clancy, like, I don't want to say dumb bra thing that's happening right now. That's a dumb broad thing. Feminism is making a comeback to where women are, think that they are strong.
Starting point is 01:38:34 Women are strong. They're very amazing, beautiful creatures. But they're letting their guard down a lot these days thinking nothing bad is going to happen to them. They're not relying on men as much as they did, let's say, the past, like, you know, 50 years. All of human history. Yeah. Hunter, gather. Yes, literally.
Starting point is 01:38:53 Like the I don't need no man thing is making a swing again. Until a saber tooth comes to the cave. Yeah. And it's like, we're genetically fucking programmed to where the dude is the strong person that kills all the other dudes that are trying to hurt you. And yeah, I don't know. It's everything according to their kind, you know? It's like that it doesn't make you inferior that you know what you're better at and what
Starting point is 01:39:18 you're what you're worse at. Yeah. It's like there's just every, the men and women are supposed to compliment each other. It's, we have different roles. Yeah, it's sexist. Oh yeah,
Starting point is 01:39:26 no, how dare you. You have, it is wild that that is an actual problem. If you say that, it is, you are a sexist piece of shit. Just because, hey, men are, they have a natural,
Starting point is 01:39:38 faster reaction time. They've been, there's been an Olympic study for this. You have the top athletes in both sides, men and women, and males have a faster reaction time, just naturally. I think feminists should sponsor an open sex class of UFC.
Starting point is 01:39:53 Bro, the feminine urge to respond to a statistical fact with an anecdotal example. I know a woman that's stronger than my husband. Cool. That's one. That's one. I'm making a generalized statement based on statistical facts. It's not the same thing. Well,
Starting point is 01:40:11 I'm good with generalizations. Thank you. Yeah. You know what? You can even bring it back to policing too. It's like women make the best investigators ever, dude. They are so good at talking to people. They are so good at getting information out of people, especially children.
Starting point is 01:40:34 Look at the one who interviewed Alec Baldwin. They are so good at doing that. Do you remember that? The interview, the surveillance video and I don't remember that. I think it was two women that interviewed Alec Baldwin after he shot his cinematographer. It's like an hour-long thing. No shit. And they, honestly, the fact that they didn't get a conviction on that case drives me crazy.
Starting point is 01:40:54 Because they, shit that, he didn't know that, yeah, no shit, right? He didn't know that she had died. So he's being very casual, like, oh, my God, this is, this is so horrible. Oh my God. This is whatever. But anyway, this is how cool I am as an actor. And this was a, this is a gun that we were, we were using blank ammunition. I thought it was blank ammunition.
Starting point is 01:41:13 Anyway, goes on like a five-minute diatribe about, I'm an experienced actor. how I know the difference between live ammo and blank ammo. And these are the different types of dud ammo, blank ammo. And here's how you can tell the difference between them. He says that to a police officer while being interrogated. So showing it's like, and you said it was a female investigator. Yep. Dude, they are so good at pulling information out of fucking anyone. Incredible. But when it comes down to fighting a 300 pound man, a dude's got like a dude's going to be the best of that all day long. I'm going to have trouble. fighting a 300 pound guy.
Starting point is 01:41:50 It doesn't mean if they're trained, not trained. It's just they're going too big and strong. And a female doesn't have testosterone coursing through their veins. So they're going to have a bigger problem fighting any dude. I think it was a high school level athletic male will beat any female Olympic level athlete on time on anything. Well, there's a, God, who's the super rich dude? There's some super rich dude that keeps offering the WMBA like $10 million if they'll let him run a WNBA team against a state champion high school boys team and they keep refusing
Starting point is 01:42:25 to do it. You've seen the, there's the two dudes that are running for the end, the WNBA right now. Yeah. Yeah. The one dude, uh, all these, I think it's an Eastern European guy. He wore, he, he's, he wears wigs to it. There's, there's a black dude and a white guy right now. Have you, have you seen that be like?
Starting point is 01:42:46 So, because the. WMBA, the WNBA expressed, they want to let like transgender people in. And so there's these two NBA guys who are like, okay, well, what's keeping me from doing this? And they're like, they're going to the games now. And they're like, I want to be a part of this. I think I can tell the story. My buddy's responsible for that. He, he does a lot of media placement and media hits for different political shit. And he was talking to some people at Fox News. And he called that guy. one of those guys. And he's just like, hey, do you want to come out as transgender?
Starting point is 01:43:20 And he goes, yeah, sure. He said 20 minutes later, he had him on Fox News. And he's told that story. He's like, it was literally that quick. And now he's going to games and shit. And he's going to try to like smuggle wigs and all sorts of, like, at least that's last time I talked to him. But yeah, well, they're saying we're going to be up for the draft. What's keeping us from doing this?
Starting point is 01:43:38 I'm a woman. And that's the best weapon we have against insanity is just ridicule. Just pointing out how dumb this shit is. It's like, oh, really. those are the rules now. Okay. In that case. I mean, it's kind of like breaking a video game in that way. It's like, really, this is the way we want to play this? All right. Well, got the GameShart guide out. You were talking about earlier. Game Genie. Be a man. Oh, mine hunter, though, watch Mind Hunter. Really? David Fincher. It's fucking good.
Starting point is 01:44:10 David Fincher. Okay. Yeah, I've heard, yeah, I've heard good stuff. I've heard really good stuff about this show. I just, I don't get much time. Nick, have you watched it? No. Bro, Mine Hunter's fucking good. Like, the cinematat... That is just a good-ass series. It's good TV. Two seasons, unfortunately, they're building a BTK,
Starting point is 01:44:26 and then it just stopped at the end of season. They were starting to get into BTK. Because the Ed Kemper, that actor, did such a fucking good job. Have you seen the side-by-side of the serial killers they bring in? They casted, like, even...
Starting point is 01:44:38 I don't know who produced this. Whoever casted those people was fucking Chef's Kiss spot-on cinema. Charlie... uh manson yeah yeah like that how they're breaking him down and like oh he's not a serial killer he's this type of killer because this is when they're actually breaking down the difference between siler killers spree killers um pattern killers i forget the the different ones they have in oh yeah because it's not called serial killers at first it's like pattern killers or something like
Starting point is 01:45:08 the god it's such a good fucking serious what the pattern is they're my kids oh jesus christ She can call it UAV. Good Lord. Oh, that was the line. Kiltacular over here. The crazy part is you can joke about it, which is wrong. I'm not, you know, saying it isn't.
Starting point is 01:45:30 But like the same people that are defending her saying she's innocent are the people that will get mad at us for making a joke about it. Oh, yeah. That's wild. That's the wild part. Like, oh, I'm sorry, you can actually do it. But if I make a joke about it, I'm the bad guy. Okay, okay. All right. It's accountability.
Starting point is 01:45:46 There were women holding their babies outside the courthouse. Like, Lindsay, where with you? I don't know if. Are you going to throw it in front of the car? I don't know if it's true or not, but I've seen like several like viral posts about, like, boyfriends breaking up with their fiancés and stuff because they were supporting Lindsay Clancy. Oh, that's what I was saying.
Starting point is 01:46:06 It's an ultimate litmus test right now. Be careful about saying stuff like that because last time we mentioned that, you know, talking about midsummer, they clip. the podcast saying that because we said that social security was not going to be here for our generation making jokes about like the government you know bashing old people against
Starting point is 01:46:24 the rocks and stuff like that they're like congressional candidate thinks old people should be bashed against rocks and hit with mallets I'm like no you fucking good God we were talking about like the unsustainability of social security and why like if we keep spending money the way we are none of us will ever see it
Starting point is 01:46:39 they're like this is what he actually thinks he wants to kill old people Well, I'm going to tell you right now, they're going to take this out of context that I'm saying specifically that women are not as good as men when I'm saying there are specific roles, especially that men are better at and women are better at. That's one thing that we've pointed out every fucking time. Every time we say it, like, watch this get taken out of context by some fucking idiot in media. Every fucking, you can't help yourselves. It's so. It's all so tiresome.
Starting point is 01:47:12 It's a good time. It's because you're running for Congress. But you get to see just how desperate the media types are. Well, not just desperate. You get to see the fact that they do not give a fuck about the truth. No, I think. Like they don't care about what's true.
Starting point is 01:47:27 They care about what they can make people think is true. And that's what's wrong with fucking media. I think with you being like a YouTuber and having the audience beforehand, it is opening a lot of eyes to how bad it is. Because they're getting called out to like, what the fuck? isn't even this article of like brandize brandon's a nazi or whatever it is like they're
Starting point is 01:47:49 clipping it and then you see the responses on facebook and like holy shit this is so far off the mark how are they even trying to push this agenda and people are falling for it's like your boomers or yeah reddit like oh he is a terrible human being because x y and z oh my god he's a latsy like the like the famous the quote that goes around twitter all the time there's a screenshot of me saying like journalists only care about money Like literally every single journalist only cares about about money. Like I was at that point, when I left policing, I wrote about 500 articles for Booley Lives Matter and the best headlines get the most clicks. And I still use that on YouTube.
Starting point is 01:48:28 It gets the most money. And that's all they want. They don't care about context. Did I not just go on this diatribe yesterday? That exact same thing about what's wrong with media is that it's all the shit that these same fucking journalists will say like, oh, well, you're just in it for clicks and for YouTube. and this, this, this, you're in the same business. You put out the most inflammatory dog shit headline
Starting point is 01:48:49 you can because if people don't click on your article, you don't get paid and you don't get to keep that nice building and your nice air conditioning and all the bullshit that you guys do within. And we said, I gave the, it's our fault to as viewers because if we see
Starting point is 01:49:05 two articles that's like man saves baby or man kills 100 children and you only can click one. A lot of people will gravitate towards the negative. I mean, what the fuck do we just spend the last half hour talking about? Oh, yep, perfect. Yeah, we went from a video game to that to this. We can get Nick on communism.
Starting point is 01:49:22 Yeah. What do you want to do? Social Security go, Nick. It's on the rise. It's coming. It is definitely on the rise. It's fucking insanity. Watch that whole thing.
Starting point is 01:49:32 Nothing more infuriating to me than people that are like, you know, I feel like being a Nazi and being a communist should be equally as apporrent to society. But no, we just. don't look at it that way. They're just embracing it. I hate it. I say this a lot on the trail, but like there used to be a time in my lifetime. I'm not like, oh, the olden days in the 50s with McCarthy, whatever. In my lifetime, like the last five, 10 years, you would like accuse somebody of being a socialist or a, you know, a communist. And they'd be like, no, no, no, no, no, I promise I'm not. Now they're like, yeah, I am. What about it? Literally, what's a nuclear bomb? God dang it. Adam
Starting point is 01:50:12 Oppenheimer. He had a whole bunch of issues even getting clearance because of communism. Yeah, understandably, because they were worried he was going to leak it to the Russians. Spoiler alert. They did. What was the family that did it, the communist sympathizer? The Rosenbergs and Klaus Fuchs were the ones that leaked it to the Soviets. No shit. It was American communist sympathetic scientists that gave the technology to the Soviets.
Starting point is 01:50:42 What was their reasoning? I didn't read into that too much. The communist? I guess fair enough. What's that? Everyone should have nukes. They're so fucking retarded. It's just, I know why it's on the rise.
Starting point is 01:50:59 It's because the fucking, you've never had a greater disparity of income. Like Gen Z and a large portion of millennials are basically frozen out of the fucking economy. They can't ever afford a house. So they're pissed, rightfully so. completely fucking get it. And they're like, well, what do I do? I'm trying to do everything society tells me to do. And it isn't fucking working.
Starting point is 01:51:21 So my options are do nothing and bitch about it. Or they're only giving me one other option at K through 12 in college and it's communism. What are they going to pick? It's not like they teach them real fucking history about how communism fails every fucking time because you're not allowed to. So then they're like, oh, maybe that will work. It can't be worse than this. Spoiler, it fucking can. In reality, we still live.
Starting point is 01:51:45 The problem is it's not, it's not the actions of capitalism necessarily. It's the actions of the federal government, which is not capitalist. We, like our government is, it's, is an entity that operates outside of capitalism. And what happens is you're using the United States dollar, which is constantly being devalued, because our government can't stop spending fucking money. And so every year, if you do everything right, save $1,000. Next year, it's worth $900 under the mattress. You're stealing.
Starting point is 01:52:11 It's not enough in tax money. that you're stealing people's money, now you're stealing the value of their money. And I get why people are pissed. They're just choosing the wrong enemy. Well, it's also that, but it's like, does anybody think the government's doing a good job at spending tax money? No. So why are you advocating to give them all of the money?
Starting point is 01:52:31 That's what I don't get. I will never understand that. It's, hey, do we give the money to the individuals? Do we take the money from the individuals that have built? a lot a ton of money, billions of dollars, and then hire and employ millions of people. Take that and then give that to the government, which is in debt and then in more debt, and then can lose half a trillion a year or like $900 billion a year that is unencountered for, and then trust them with that tax money.
Starting point is 01:53:05 That's what I don't get how people are like, yes. Socialized medicine is going to be great, just to ask anybody who's gone to a VA. I love it. They gave me so many pills. And we're back around. I mean, the national debt's what 10xed in my lifetime. J.D. Vance, like a week ago, came out and said that he's not convinced that America having the global reserve currency is their currency is good for America anymore.
Starting point is 01:53:29 Which I heard, I saw that headline and I, I'll be honest with you, I didn't look into it enough. I'm very curious to say, to see what he's, what he's getting at with that. Well, he's basically saying that America's biggest export, so to speak, is our money. And in doing so, it basically over since World War II decades has made almost a century at this point coming up on it has made it so as our biggest global export is our money because everybody needs our money to make their economy's function. It basically prices American manufacturing out. And that's why all our manufacturing has gone overseas. So he's like, I think if I understood him correctly, he's basically saying if we give up global reserve. currency, that's what's going to allow us to bring manufacturing and jobs actually back to America,
Starting point is 01:54:17 which I'm not saying I agree with or not, but I think that's what he was insinuating. I would have to look much deeper into that because that sounds like you're playing with fire. I'm not saying he's wrong. I'm not saying he's right, but I'm like I would really have to see a lot more data on that. I think it's going to happen soon anyways. I would do no matter what. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:54:34 People still forget just how big of a player in the global economy of the United States is, just with our GDP. Like we beat what, like five? our continent, South America, Australia, Africa, like, one state, like California beats a lot of countries. I'm just saying, like, we, like, our country solo beats like five continents in the country, across the world. Texas alone beats Mexico and all of Central America combined.
Starting point is 01:55:00 Right. But like, that's also the point that he's getting at is you can say like, oh, the, the GDP of California is like the 19th biggest in the world or some shit. But like, what are, what are, seventh, whatever? Like, what are they producing, though? Most of that GDP is tied up in fucking meta. Tech and whatever. And it's like, okay, well, how does that make money?
Starting point is 01:55:19 Oh, well, through ad revenue by promoting ads to sell people injection molded plastic from China. Yeah. Okay. Is that actually beneficial to America to have the largest economy at getting people to consume products from other fucking countries? I'm not convinced that that's necessarily a good thing or a bragging point would be my argument. Yeah. So why it's nice to bring it back. Like we just had Secretary of Labor down here opening up a, or to celebrate the opening of a new Toyota plant, like just bringing manufacturing back.
Starting point is 01:55:48 Because I mean, as a, you know, big World War II guy, that's one of the reasons why we did such a big jump is because there was so much of the world that relied on American manufacturing, American jobs, like American labor. So we just had the capability to do stuff. Well, this, like the one of the most telling stats is power generation, power consumption. and like America's power generation and power consumption has been pretty fucking flatlined like since World War II. Yep. Because we rejected nuclear, which is so fucking irritating. Well, no, not even that.
Starting point is 01:56:23 It's because it's based off a need. I had a question about that. Go ahead. It was, we used to use way more energy with condescent bulbs. Everything was a lot. Everything is super efficient compared to what it was. But our electric bill has not lowered. fucking period.
Starting point is 01:56:42 If you look at how much energy was used in the 90s to now. I would say it's higher efficiency, but it's also higher consumption. Because you're looking at one. Incondescent bulbs and refrigerators versus data centers. Yeah, I mean, your typical house. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:56:58 I'm talking about like national scale of how much power we're generating. So like it's remained flatlined because like we're, yeah, people are using more power in general. Like yeah, houses are more efficient now an incandescent bulb or you know LEDs use less light but also back when we were using incandescent bulbs the average person wasn't plugging in a cell phone their earbuds um their fucking dishwasher didn't need Bluetooth the average person is using more electricity it's also the price isn't based on household
Starting point is 01:57:26 consumption it's about how much power is available for sale and how much is being used not just what I was wearing how that worked but the point I'm making is like America's power generation has like been flatlined for a long time. And China's has tripled in that same time period. And it's because China's monopolizing all the manufacturing. So like power generation is huge for manufacturing capability. So it's like China probably almost certainly can out manufacture a lot of shit than we can right now. Yes.
Starting point is 01:57:56 They have a lot less regulation too. That's also true. Yeah. They don't have that red tape. That video of like the Chinese guys like literally standing inside the press. Yeah. He's like, this is. the press comes down.
Starting point is 01:58:09 He's like, this is why we're never, like, we're never out manufacturing China. They don't give a f*** that guy dies. Also, I just want to point out this podcast started by asking what happens if you circumcise Wolverine. We've gone to complex geopolitical issues in record time. No, no, just skip the beginning. No, babe, no, I swear, these guys are smart. Are you sure you set the right episode?
Starting point is 01:58:36 Well, on that note. I think we can close it out. Good God. Thank you guys for joining the unsuscribed podcast. I was joined today by Eli Double Tap, Nick the Fat Electrician, Brandon Herrera, myself Don't Operator. Thank you so much for being here. Love you. Bye.
