Starting point is 00:00:00 Zbiotics is a surefire way to wake up feeling refreshed after a long night with the friends. Zbiotics, pre-alcohol, probiotic, is the world's first genetically engineered probiotic. Probiotic. Probiotic. I got the word right. You want to know how it works? Magic. Finn, put up magic.
Starting point is 00:00:20 It's like an elixir or a zinzo bean. When you drink the alcohol gets converted into a toxic byproduct. It's great for the liver. it is a buildup of this byproduct, not dehydration, that leads to that terrible feeling the next day. So on the rare occasion, me and the guys have a few drinks. Ah, I pop one of these and life is way better. Don't let a rough next day keep you on the sidelines. Drink pre-alcohol to stay ahead of the game and enjoy those sunny Saturdays.
Starting point is 00:00:53 Go to zbiotics.com slash unsub and get 15% off when you use code unsub at check out. Zbiotics is backed with a 100% money back guarantee. So if you're unsatisfied for any reason, they will refund your money, no questions asked. Remember to head to zbiotics.com slash unsub and use code unsub to get 15% off. I got blown up. Did you get blown up? Twice? Really? No. Shooting blanks? Yes, it was actually when the cattle industry was saved by fly shooting blanks. Wait, elbow deep. That GI Joe figure was elbow deep. It was elbow deep. It was all the way inside him? Just like that.
Starting point is 00:01:32 What makes you go into some stranger's house and shove their things up here? It was GI Track Joe. That's exactly what we called. That took me a fucking minute. Three, two, one. Eschelon is great. Mm-hmm. Remember that?
Starting point is 00:02:09 Subtle. Not a plug. Hi, everyone. Welcome to the unscribed podcast. I'm doing today by Eli Double Tap. EMT Badge 502. Brandon Herrera, myself Donut Operator. Thank you so much for being here.
Starting point is 00:02:24 What's up, bitches? What's up? Look, it's our boy today. What's up, y'all? He's back. Back number two. What? I didn't realize he was on.
Starting point is 00:02:34 I forgot. Yeah, I, like, I space so much. And then when we were talking about the live shows, you were like, yeah, this. And I was like, yeah, because he was there in Jersey. I was in Jersey. Yeah, that was a great time. I don't think I was on the podcast you were on, though. No, no, you aren't.
Starting point is 00:02:48 I had Nick, I had Eli. I had, actually, I had Leon. Leo was sitting over here. So I had an excuse for not remembering. Yeah, and that's totally fine. I got blown up. Well, as far as excuses, go, that's like a five out of ten. I was like, oh.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Yeah, but fucking welcome back, buddy. It's good to be here. You know, it's going to be sitting at the roundtable. It's nice. How are you looking? It's oval. It's oval. Ablo?
Starting point is 00:03:15 Did you get blown up? Twice? Really? No, that's a lie. I was totally willing. No, cut out, that's a lie. So then the internet starts doing research. Just like missing an arm.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Somebody cut my arm off quick. EMT stolen valor. Dude. We got a whole bunch. I mean, everyone's been doing, a lot of shit and we're just trying to fit in. Time for the podcast right now. It's last. It's a busy time. I know.
Starting point is 00:03:41 We got Cody, what have you been up to? Me and Brandon, we went to Vegas to scope out the range today. Yeah, because that's going to be coming up sometime. And then immediately after Vegas, you went somewhere. What a couple places. You went to a couple places. I don't know. I think we were all running around for like a straight month and a half, two months there like crazy. Because we did racing school.
Starting point is 00:04:05 I went to Jordan. That looked fun. Went back on the campaign trail. But what were you up to? That was, except for racing school, I was with you guys for most of it, I think. I don't know, just working streaming, same all, same all. Living that dream. Doing the work.
Starting point is 00:04:21 How goes campaign trail, Mr. Brandon? Well, it's really cool. I get to spend at least, oh, man, like one to two days a week in my own house. It's really cool. Overachiever. Yeah. I get to sleep in my. own bed. I'm like at a certain point I was like, why didn't I just get a storage container and a
Starting point is 00:04:36 just a hotel room when I'm in town at this point? Not a bad idea. It's not too late. It's, it's been good though. Like we're going all over the place because it's such a big district. It's the biggest district in all of Texas. Biggest border district in the country. It's massive. There's a lot of it's 27 counties that we have to cover. So we're, we're just hitting the ground every day we can. Beautiful. Just talking to people and not even waiting to do the job, just showing up and and finding out what the issues are, whether it's data centers, whether it's power lines, whether it's like the big bend border wall screw worm just handling it now what do you find is like the biggest issue that's coming up there's a lot of like there's a lot of big federal issues like
Starting point is 00:05:11 everybody wants to talk about you know like oh gun control war this that whatever but really a lot of things in the district that like we can actually help with are like the local issues and a lot of them weirdly are not political it's like it's not republican democrat it's it's just hey we're running out of fucking water here's how we need to approach it hey screw worm is an issue how can we solve it. Hey, border walls going up here through this, you know, national park that doesn't need it. We're wasting a bunch of money and ruining the landscape. Like, how do we fight that? And so it's, or how do we, how do we keep the border secure without needing a physical barrier? And so it's, there's a lot of localized issues like that. And honestly, that's been the most fun.
Starting point is 00:05:44 It's because, like, for me, like as a business owner, I've just been a problem solver for a while. Like anybody who's been in business knows that you just become a professional. That's it. You're firefighter. That's it. Exactly. Putting out fires. Figuring stuff out, putting out fires. And so for me, this is like, right up my forte is just trying to figure. out like how we can solve these problems and so we've been just killing that non-stop that's awesome man question because I know what's a screw screw worm so do you do legit not know I know okay got it for the masses so screw worm is basically so it's a it's a type of fly that has been okay I had never mind I don't know oh really never
Starting point is 00:06:25 Yeah, you just threw a different screw worm is not ones. I was like, yes, it's a fly. It's a helicopter. Well, so one of the, well, that's one of the big issues right now is because, you know, Texas is obviously very big in the cattle and like beef industry, stuff like that. Sure. So there is a type of fly that exists that basically like it, it lays its eggs in, you know, wounds in cattle or, you know, a couple different things. But it has a near 100% fatality rate. Oh, that's a problem. Within like I want to say two weeks, don't quote me on that, but it's a huge, huge issue. And it was a really big issue back in the 60s.
Starting point is 00:07:00 We put out a bunch of sterilized flies, so male flies that basically just made it so that they couldn't reproduce. And we beat it back. Yes, it was actually when the cattle industry was saved by fly shooting blanks. Dead series. We beat it back down south of the Darian Gap down back to South America. And it hasn't been an issue until the last couple years. I mean, Connor did a video on it after we talked about it. So you want to look up the screw worm video by King Trout.
Starting point is 00:07:23 But it's back essentially for the first time in decades. And so we're making sure that we fight it effectively. And I was meeting with the EPA, USDA, a couple of congressmen just trying to figure out everything we can do to expedite that. That's awesome because that can get out of control fast, which I'm assumed. Connor, you had all the information on how much that fucked everything in the past. I just really wanted you to sit on my lap. Trying to loop in the conversation. It's all an elaborate excuse.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Speaking of screw worm. Oh, no. There's a banana in your pocket or you just screw worm to see me. That's a screw worm, man. So my head lowers that in my head. I'll be right back. Pop out your dentures. Yeah, no, we completely beat it out of the country, like Brandon said, starting in the 60s up
Starting point is 00:08:18 until I think we got it out in the 70s. All the cases that were coming in were coming across the border from Mexico. So then we had these sterile fly facilities out in West Texas. I think there was one. Pushed them all the way back, all the way back down into South America. We were funding this facility.
Starting point is 00:08:38 And then the problem was no longer around because it was out of sight, out of mind. And so they shut down funding for the facility. And wouldn't you believe it? Third World Central. American nations didn't handle the problem and keep it resolved. So it made its way back as of what a month ago. How much money did? Into the US anyway. It came across the dairy and gap a couple years ago. Yeah. And made this way back up through Mexico.
Starting point is 00:09:02 Yeah, we we've which for whatever reason years and year. This was like 2022, 2023. We just didn't reopen the or approve the reopening of the the sterilized fly facilities. How'd they get over the wall? Ain't no wall man, ma'amaw. sailed through the canal because I have to flies hang a 10-foot wall and be like I don't know what the fuck they do
Starting point is 00:09:25 they're shorted a boat Coyote flies to get them across Coggle of a hole in the wall that big but they well to answer your question it was like back in the 60s
Starting point is 00:09:40 and 70s was like tens of millions of dollars and then believe it or not the cattle or the population of cattle in the U.S. is smaller now than it was back then because they kind of wrote off a bunch of those losses to like blighten things. So the expectation was that you'd have a thousand head of cattle and 20% of them are going to die. Well, medication got so much better that now if you have a thousand head of cattle, 998 of them are going to survive unless they're infected by this parasite where you cannot sell their meat. Canada shut down live, livestock,
Starting point is 00:10:15 um sort of i'm looking for what was that sport what was that noise but uh so yeah it was like hundreds of me or hi it's been a minute since i did the research i want to say at bare minimum tens of millions if not hundreds of millions of dollars like 300 million i think 300 something million back in the late six yeah no crazy so nowadays would be literally like tens of billions of dollars so uh something we definitely want to take
Starting point is 00:10:43 seriously. And it also, as to why it's on my plate, in the beginning at least, half of all the confirmed cases in the United States were in my district. Of course. All right. Yay, what a problem I walk into. But he's getting it solved. And that's what I love him. I mean, it wasn't solved last time? Thank you.
Starting point is 00:10:59 And also, well, something if I could say, I feel like we've monopolized a lot of time in the beginning about something that's not like particularly interesting to most people, but I find it fascinating. I find that interesting as shit, because I just learned something. I find it fascinated. We learned that a worm as a fly. Well, because it's the larva. So the larva is what?
Starting point is 00:11:16 Is it the name? You're the larva. They're like the only fly species where the maggots. They're exactly like bot flies. They attack live flesh instead. And so it's something fucking disgusting. Google screw worm infection. Oh.
Starting point is 00:11:34 Well, there goes my search history. And it's not just cows. It can be any sort of like exotics, like deer. It can be like dogs, things like that. it affects anything other than the common. So it can mess up a lot of different things. Oh, yeah. I'd go get tested.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Yeah, it wouldn't be better, dude. You're a little, you know. I didn't had a cut on my hand the other days. Could get vicious. It could. But, well, something, just one of the thing I think is super interesting is how they solve the problem. This is kind of, you know, during the, you know, just at fresh out of the atomic age, I guess.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Somebody just wondered like, okay, what if we shot up a bunch of those flies? Like, what if we bred the flies and shot them up with radiation and sterilize them. So we use radiation to sterilize the male flies and then just release those back into, you know, to the tune of millions and millions of flies. Nagasaki flies. Straight up. Like we just, we would drop like canisters of flies into, into infected areas. And it would just slowly make the, the flies sterile. And so just kill them by not allowing them to reproduce. That's one way of doing. Dang, that's crazy. See, I find that shit. Super fascinating. That's why. I'm like, okay, I learned something. The same thing Bill Gates is trying to do.
Starting point is 00:12:44 I'm kidding. That's a joke. That's a joke. Or is it? Brandon Herrera. It hates Bill Gates. Have you seen a Rusty Cages thing about the Ticks? Dude.
Starting point is 00:12:55 Oh my God. Shout out to Rusty first. I'll put him like right here. He's been a friend of ours for probably a decade now. He makes really good YouTube videos and he's dabbled in a bunch of stuff. Remember he made a guillotine a couple of years ago and that was this big thing. He was at Ranged Day. He was with Honorable.
Starting point is 00:13:10 He was with Hong Kong. Yeah, yeah, he was with Hunter. But his newest thing is he's taking a long star tick and he's trying to kill it. But, you know, not like smash it with a hammer. He's trying to see what he can stand. Oh, then what? He's even trying? So he's putting it in the freezer for like three weeks.
Starting point is 00:13:26 Oh, yeah. He's drowning it for a week. He's doing things the hard one. Crazy shit. And they're just surviving. Yeah, they just fucking can't kill it. They die. Like, it looks like it dies where it just doesn't move for days.
Starting point is 00:13:36 And then he does something like plays really when he did the, uh, the boom box. He just had a really loud dubstep playing. The big squirrels fan. They hadn't moved in days and it starts moving again. It's a big EDC thing, you know? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:51 Dude, I'm glad you see it. And how the amount of detail and how he's filming it is so good. That's wild. Yeah, he's knowing it. Now he has a radioactive plate though.
Starting point is 00:14:03 Is that why you were... Yeah, he's trying to kill it with radiation now. He's just going to put it in a fucking microwave. The hammer. Well, he's got a plate right. now that that's a very irradiated plate for some reason because it's made of something and it's from Chernobyl yeah old plate he had that uh paint or something on no it was that passed through uh
Starting point is 00:14:21 they're kind of like see-through green yeah but they put out uh it's rock rank rockins what's the measurement for uh you're talking about like rockin yeah rockans so you rodigan rodigan something like that usually you're like at a five and this play and he's showing is like a regular plate will admit about five nothing like period and then when he goes over that place it's like 400 run can like like with a geiger counter yeah oh it's yeah like he's like we're gonna see if this kills the book he's just trying to get it sounds like the ghost busters thing fucking coming over the top of it how long have been dead for a month two months he did yeah he had it in the freezer for like two or three weeks that one survived yeah and it survived it's the same dude he would blow on it and he's like
Starting point is 00:15:05 you know they're yeah and it just starts moving out This is just a much more, much more complicated way of like frying an ant with a magnifying glass. Dude, but the content he's getting out of his fucking great. Each one of his videos is getting, at least just on Instagram, we're getting like 700,000 likes and a million plus shares.
Starting point is 00:15:24 It's crazy. What's the deal with these ticks? It's just the ones that give you that disease where you can't eat meat. He got bit by a lone star tick when he got home from a camping or something. Got home, found it. He was like, this motherfucker drank my blood. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:39 And then started experimenting on it. I mean, honestly, fair. Yeah. And now everyone's like, yo, it's still, oh, huh. Wow. Okay. It's still alive to this day. And he is beating the shit out of that thing other than physically.
Starting point is 00:15:54 What's their actual lifespan? Like, how do you know if it's just old? Yeah. I don't know. It makes for good content, though. Didn't Evan Hafer come down with that? Yeah, I think Evan got bit by a lone star tick. And he got sick for a while and couldn't he meet, which sucks.
Starting point is 00:16:08 He's like one of the biggest hunters that we know. What's it called? Lyme disease, yeah, you get Lyme disease. It's something else. It's not something I'll have than that. No, you get Lyme disease and I think the tradeoff is the red meat can be part of the. Isn't it? Hey, what's up?
Starting point is 00:16:27 I'm showing him noble suitcases because I'm intrigued. I bought one before they were a sponsor. And then two weeks later, they're like, do you want to work together? I was like, yep. So this is one of those where, like, you? you used it beforehand. Yeah. So not even joking when we were traveling in Virginia the other day.
Starting point is 00:16:44 I was like, oh, was that like one of the sponsor suitcases? And then you showed me all the features. I'm like, oh, actually, okay, I think I get it. Oh, you can use your fire. This can carry firearms too. You can just check it in with it. Oh, is it like TSA approved? Yeah, literally TSA.
Starting point is 00:16:55 Yeah, they're all coming. Oh, so you could just throw a fucking gun in that. Passer. It already has the TSA locks with it so the TSA can check it really quick with their. Same key for both locks. Yep. So in that case, it's compliant. if you want to bring a surprise mouse coutool that will help you later everyone loves surprise mouse coutules the robbers don't oh they have an open container compartment oh wow I bet you could put a laptop in there how would you know I don't read Egyptian I had a bag that I used to use I don't do that anymore because this replaced everything for travel I used to travel exclusively with a Kroger grocery bag the holes were getting large
Starting point is 00:17:38 He never replaced the bag. But don't take our word on it. 500,000 suitcases sold in the highest rated luggage brand in the category on Trust Pilot. But you know the only thing better than buying one of these? What's that, Brandon? Buying one at 46% off. You can go to nobletravel.com for up to 46% off your entire order. Does every suitcase come with a 100-day money-back guarantee?
Starting point is 00:18:00 I believe it does. And free three-day express shipping? And we didn't even mention it has a lifetime warranty. So that's nobletravel. for up to 46% off your entire order. After you order, they're going to ask you how you heard about them. Tell them unsub sends their regards. Okay, so Lone Star Tick Bites can transmit a sugar molecule called alpha-gal into the body.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Triggering alpha-gal syndrome, a severe allergy to red meat like beef, pork, and lamb. Symptoms typically emerge two to six hours after eating and can include hives, gastrointestinal distress, and life-threatening. You even T's out here in Texas deal with a whole bunch of different shit. Dude, this simple fact, you can just be allergic to red meat after a bite. That sucks. Suck. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:44 No. There's a disease that gives you that, like, hydrophobia, right? Where you can't even, like, drink water and rabis? Rabies. That's nuts. When you're actually terrified of water and you run. And yeah. That's when I'm like, no, like 99% mortality rate, rabies and people.
Starting point is 00:19:01 Yeah, if you're too late, it's up. Yeah. And you go crazy during that process. That's why I didn't realize it was a fear of water on top of not wanting to drink it because you'll want to vomit or throw up the second. It gets near you because they've done studies on that. You have to let it go for a while though. Yeah. Like it shows itself long before it gets to that point.
Starting point is 00:19:21 But once it shows itself, there's no cure. That's crazy. Still? Oh yeah, rabies, they're still like, I thought you had to let it go to like a crazy extent. Yeah. Once it's right. It's pretty much once it starts showing its first symptoms, you are dead. It's hard to unfuck that.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Yeah. It's just... If you get bit by an animal, like even if you suspect it might have rabies, you have to get the vaccine, like instant. How long is that vaccine good for? It doesn't.
Starting point is 00:19:51 It's every bite. Oh, really? No shit. Yeah, there is no... No shit. It's rude. They put it into the bite because my buddy in high...
Starting point is 00:20:01 Oh, God. That's not good. Oh, my God. I already got bit there once. Oh, no. Imagine you get bit. You get bit. Oh, that's not what I thought you were insinuating.
Starting point is 00:20:11 99.9% chance of death once it. Yeah, my God. I think it's in maybe one guy. Yeah, he can't drink. Yeah, yeah, that's what I was referring. He just pulls it up. He puts the water away. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:20:22 They put the vaccine into the source of the bite. So when we're in high school, one of my buddies was trying to save a raccoon from a storm dream like a dumbass. So he went and grabbed it like it was a cute little. cat or whatever like under the armpits. Plots was not cute cut. In the second it like hit the ground. They had that moment and he thought it was a Disney movie where it's like, I saved you.
Starting point is 00:20:42 And he's like, thank you sir. And he was off the woods. And he was like, he sets it down and it immediately went, ah, the tip of his finger. So we had to take him to like a instant care place and they put his finger in a brace because it bit him on the tip of his pointer finger. Put it in a brace
Starting point is 00:20:56 and this needle was like that long. And they went down into the tip of his finger. Oh, fuck that. And injected it like into the palmists. into his elbow from his finger. Basically. Jesus. So it sounds like, oh, we got to inject this in the elbow.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Why are you starting at my finger? We can go any other path on this. Well, I feel like that's a beautiful segue to talk into a little bit of your day job. Oh my gosh, yeah, absolutely. I give people needles in their index finger for a little. Well, you have multiple, which is, again, wild. Yeah, I'm all over the place.
Starting point is 00:21:29 Multiple fingers, yeah. Yeah, yeah, 10 of them still. Wild. Because I didn't hustle his hair. Yeah, no, I'm an EMT. I'm a volunteer EMT. I'm a per DM EMT, a 911 dispatcher. I just couldn't really decide.
Starting point is 00:21:41 So I hit the job market early and just took over all of them at that point. But yeah, I mean, I've never quite dealt with something like that, but sure. I mean, I definitely do run into a bunch of different circumstances. I feel like got to be taken care of, hell yeah. But yeah, I'm an EMT for a volunteer agency when I started. I still volunteer with them, so I just feel like it's the right thing they do. A per diem department, a couple towns away from that decided to pick me up. So I still write on the ambulance per diem and volunteer.
Starting point is 00:22:09 And my general, my actual career is I'm a 911 dispatcher for a police department, a couple of towns away from there. So I'm all in this one general bubble. And that's what I do. You've never had to deal with rabies? I have not dealt with rabies. I think it's because, like, do you mind if we say what state? No, of course not. Just in Jersey, I feel like the ambient radiation of that state just kills all the animals.
Starting point is 00:22:30 Yeah, 100%. That same nuclear radiation that they use for the flies. If you can just go and drop it right there, that would be just great. I can't get taken out of context. Well, I mean, listen, you guys saw it firsthand. You guys got the witness Jersey firsthand. How'd you love it? It's one of my least favorite places in the country.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Oh, you know what? I got a lot of friends there, which is weird. There's a reason I keep coming to Texas. I've got a lot of friends that live in Jersey, and they all, for whatever reason, just pretend it doesn't suck. Oh man, stop doing that. Stop doing that. Give in to the dark side, man.
Starting point is 00:23:06 You know how it is up there. It sucks, man. You know? You were, you became an EMT in 2020 also, right? I did right when I was in school when COVID hit. Yeah, that's the way to do it. If you're going to get involved in emergency services, the way to do it is two months before a pandemic starts.
Starting point is 00:23:26 10 out of 10 recommend. It took me seven months to finish the certification that should have took me three. At the same time, I was going through dispatch school, and it was a whole bunch of stuff that was... I mean, talk about trial by Chinese fire. Literally. When I signed up for EMS,
Starting point is 00:23:39 I was telling Eli this, I was dealing with like little Johnny with the skin knee or like grandma who decided to take a tumble behind the dresser and ended up all cocked behind there. We got to go lift her up at three o'clock in the morning or like grandpa who fell down the stairs because he needed to use the downstairs bathroom because he doesn't like the upstairs bathroom,
Starting point is 00:23:53 like that type of stuff. That's happened, I'm guessing, if you have that story. Often. Often. That is not something you just pull out as like, you know. Also, also the house. house in reference that I'm talking about. It had one of those freaking chairs that take you down the stairs.
Starting point is 00:24:03 But no, he had to walk. So, yeah, take a tumble. Charlie takes a tumble. There's a reason you have that stupid chair. Anyway, I digress. But, yeah, and then, so that's what I signed up for, if you will. That was the EMS that I had been training with and training for. And then we went to the pandemic.
Starting point is 00:24:19 And once I got out of EMT school, it became from little Johnny with the skin knee to 20 patients a night that couldn't breathe, couldn't walk, couldn't talk, couldn't think. They were altered mental. They were unconscious. They were vomiting. I was telling Eli, we were showing up to house in Tyvex suits with respirators and goggles. We looked like,
Starting point is 00:24:36 yeah, we looked like we were just straight up going into, yeah, like going into a nuclear facility, you know, and it was wild. And that we would strip that gown off, change out our filters,
Starting point is 00:24:46 go to the next call and just rinse and repeat. We would dispatch a lot of times from the hospital. We wouldn't even make it back to headquarters. Because like, well, if I recall correctly, you guys were right next to what was essentially ground zero at the time in New York City.
Starting point is 00:24:58 where I heard things got real fucking bad. Yeah, they brought out a giant boat that they used three rooms for. That was great. We loved that. But yeah, we ended up having a... Could you explain it what you just said a little bit? So New York ended up bringing out,
Starting point is 00:25:11 I forget what they called it. They brought out this giant hospital boat and they docked it in the harbor. What was that boat called up all up? Was it the Navy boat? Yeah, it was a... Mercy? The mercy, that's what it was.
Starting point is 00:25:21 Yeah, it was literally a boat. It was a facility that was designed to house COVID patients and they used like four rooms of it. But don't worry, they pulled all the respirators and all this stuff out, a bunch of hospitals. That was great. So, but yeah. We're borrowing this.
Starting point is 00:25:38 Unplugging. Mom. But, but yeah, it was, it was, you have to understand that this was something that was new. This isn't something anybody had ever dealt with before. So they're trying to work with this exploding clock that nobody really understood or knew how to navigate. And in doing so, we're taking on 15. 1220 calls. Hospitals are developing protocols to have all these rooms outside. Trailers are showing up.
Starting point is 00:26:04 Refrigerator trucks are showing up outside. You don't put healthy people in refrigerator trucks. Now, with each station, are you, or each call, do you have to clean the outfit? Or is it a brand new outfit each time? We would rip the suit. So it comes off. It's super thin. Almost like a thin fabric.
Starting point is 00:26:24 Yeah, it's a paper type of. Mostly probably just because we didn't really know that much back then. Exactly. We were throwing it comes up to a hood. It comes to your forehead. You put goggles on. You have this big respirator on, just the double side of respirators. And yeah, we were in one call after the next, one after the next. And that's how my content started. It was because I went from knowing what I was getting into, to being very much out of my element. And it was taking an emotional and mental toll on me because I wasn't, I didn't know this is what it could be. And that's why I started making content was because it was a way for me to kind of disassociate from everything and just kind of. to be stupid for a little bit and try to make myself laugh. And if it made somebody else laugh too, that was awesome. But it was a way for me to be like, you know what, it's not all so bad. It's not all so bad. And that's how we ended up making goofy content.
Starting point is 00:27:11 At least I hope it's goofy, you know. You're telling me people who actually experience hard things in life resort to dark humor? Not. I would never do that. I would never do that. God, you would love my dark humor joke. It's when I bring those here. That'll get canceled.
Starting point is 00:27:25 Can't have that. Oh, tell me. me how I know. But yeah, but yeah, that's what it ended up being. And I was just any, any little stupid thing that would make me laugh. I would make some sort of content about it. And then there was that one phallic video with a stupid gold thing that was just kind of serpentineing up.
Starting point is 00:27:43 And I was like, that looks like a bending we're gonna make some jokes about that. You're actually the only man I know that is not a career out of sticking shit in people's ass. Well, unfortunately, she comes out of it. That's the problem. It's whether it comes out or not, I got a great story for you. Last time I was here, I told a story about a cap that came off of a suave bottle. And at that time, that was the only call like that I had had.
Starting point is 00:28:09 You weren't here for it. Don't worry. It's okay. Oh, no, I'm just a cap. So you know how suave shampoo bottles are kind of cylindrical? And it has a screw-on cap. Well, we showed up to a call. Shapes in this guy.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Yeah, yeah, yeah. It had a screw on cap. And when we got to the house, it was for abdominal pain. And we showed up to the house. and this kid hands me a suave shampoo bottle and it doesn't have a cap on it. And I'm like, well, where's the cap? And he's like, I'm like, what?
Starting point is 00:28:34 Oh, oh, oh. Okay, we're going to fix this. We're going to get you out of here. Did it pop? Oh, it popped off all right. Did all the soapy stuff also? Oh, you know, I didn't ask him. We had more pressing issues.
Starting point is 00:28:48 Yeah, he smelled great. He had one particular pressing issue. He had one pressing issue. Did you make him fart and blow bubbles? No, yeah. It was plugged. up, you couldn't fart. Because that's, because that's shaped in the opposite.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Yeah. If you want to retrieve something. Yeah. Yeah. And just remember, anytime you put something in a hole requires a bigger hole to come out of. Yeah. Food for thought. It's reminding me of like the M&M cylinder thing.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Yeah. Not too far off. What's, do they even say it or is it just so embarrassing? Like it's, no, he handed it to me and was just gave me this like dough eyes. And I was just like, what my gut? Oh. First of all. First of all.
Starting point is 00:29:22 Ah. Yeah. You take it. Oh. And just open your hands and it drops. Extra gloves. Where's that suit? I love that.
Starting point is 00:29:32 That's a hilarious being. He's just like, what is this? Okay, what am I doing with this? Where's the cap at? It's just instant. Yeah, you got, you guys, you guys laugh now. You guys, G.I. Joe fans? There's G.I. Joe fans when you were a kid?
Starting point is 00:29:49 Yeah, I'm a fucking, I'm a fucking ruin G.I. Joe for you in about two minutes. Hey, I'm bogus. What's the? Pork chop sandwiches. Pork chop sandwiches. Brandon's like, what is this? That the fuck are you guys talking about? This is original internet shit, man.
Starting point is 00:30:04 I'm about like action figure therapy. Kind of someone dubbed over the old G.I. Joe cartoons from like the late 80s. Oh, I see. And it's old. Old internet, dude, like new grounds type stuff. Yeah, it's O.G. Internet. We'll show you afterwards. Yeah, we'll tell you when you're older.
Starting point is 00:30:22 You have to eat all your vegetables first. So we like G.I. Joe's. And so we like G.I. Joe. So at that time, that was the only actual instance that I've had of this. Well, if you can imagine a G.I. Joe figure about yay big. Jesus fuck. Right. J.I. Joe figure about yay big. Big ones? Mm-hmm. And he's going like this. Arm out? Mm-hmm. Yeah. So it was actually at a college graduation party at somebody's house who was having a bunch of people over his college graduation party.
Starting point is 00:30:52 So when I got out of the military, this is the first thing I did. Mm-hmm. So. Yeah, well, let me tell you, it wasn't too far off from that. And it was elbow deep and it was thumbs up so he couldn't take it out. So I transported this person on his side. Wait, elbow deep. Like, elbow deep. That GI Joe figure was elbow deep.
Starting point is 00:31:13 So it was all the way inside him? Thumb in. Just like that. Or just his arm was in him? The arm. The whole arm. So his arm was about this long. So it was in about that deep.
Starting point is 00:31:24 Oh, because it's got a hook. Thumb's got a hook. so he couldn't take it out. G.I. Tracks Joe. You nailed my joke for me, baby. Oh, I'm sorry. No, you crushed it. Listen, I'm happy that I'm not the only person who thought like that.
Starting point is 00:31:39 It was GI tracked Joe. That's exactly what we called up. That took me a fucking minute. I like it. But yeah, that's exactly. That was, I had to transport him, no pants on. I had to bring him to the hospital, and I had to go in the hospital, tell people what they were about to see.
Starting point is 00:31:51 So there was a party going on in this unfolded somehow? And here's the plot twist. the guy who who had this had this happen to him it wasn't his G.I. Joe it wasn't his house. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:06 What makes you go into some stranger's house and shove their things up your ass, you know? I just don't have a good idea. Guys, just hear me out. We just graduated and fucking Steve has a G.I. Joe figure.
Starting point is 00:32:17 You know this. Yeah. Or we could just shove it in my ass. Or we can just play beer pong. Ready stop. No. The G.I. Joe. Dude, Cody likes the idea.
Starting point is 00:32:25 It's going to be hilarious. It's going to be hilarious, bro. It's going to be great. And listen, nobody's going to ever talk about it on the internet. Hold on. You said it was not his house. As in like, it was a buddy's house or was some strange. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:33 Buddy's house. I was going to say, was it breaking and entering and entering. It was breaking. It was breaking news, breaking and entering. Yeah. Talk about a B&A. That's it. Did they give the action figure back?
Starting point is 00:32:46 Uh, no. Just remember hospitals. Hospitals do not have a lost and found box, but they do have an ass box. All right. What? Yeah. Hospitals don't have a loss and found box. They have an ass box.
Starting point is 00:32:57 Do they really have an ass box? Ask where I'm. Go to your local hospital. I don't think I will. I think you should. I don't know. I'll take you. Excuse me.
Starting point is 00:33:05 This is for professional reasons only. I let them know you're coming. Show up at BAMC. You walk in here and you're like, where's your ass box at? Where is the? There's no other questions. That's right.

Starting point is 00:34:52 Visit cash.com. Visit, cash. Hey, I'm Brandon. Running for office. Where's your assbox? here to inspect the ass box Asbox inspector Wow that sounds weird
Starting point is 00:35:03 Well Welcome to my life That's how you get pepper sprayed at the front desk I'm still is it It's at a party So there's like multiple people that were involved in this There was like 30 people there Yeah
Starting point is 00:35:20 Oh did they all know what was going on They figured it out What did they do it like Yeah well when you see your buddy get carted away where the G.I. Joe's sticking out of his ass. I'm pretty sure that's a good hand. Now, mind you, we got called to, we didn't get called to exactly that. We got called to somebody with with lower body trauma, right? And much like that G.I. Joe, we had to make entry through the back door, too. So that's how we just walking out like, hey, Brandon, can you call the police?
Starting point is 00:35:47 Why? You, well, I borrow one of your action figures. I actually don't know that half of the story. So I mean, that very well could be what happened. We kind of mozied in and mozied out. But, yeah, imagine being one of the guys that's still at the party after that. He's like, where's, where's Jacob? I haven't seen it since you show up that thing.
Starting point is 00:36:08 I don't know. I hope the guy was mad that he used his figure. He told me he was going to my, my, uh, my, uh, my youth room from when I was a kid. I don't really know why, but. Oh, be so pissed. Well, welcome. Welcome.
Starting point is 00:36:23 Yeah. Welcome to real life. And now you know the rest of the story. I'm like, fuck. That's the... Slipped and fell on a lubed up G.I.O. I never said it was lubed up. I like, I fell.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Our trip, guys. One of the advertising strategies for G.I. Joe back the day was the shape of his hand. Yeah. Did G.I. Joe come to grip. Grabbed onto his... Yeah, gripped on to his... Oh, wait, grips all right. It slips as it grips.
Starting point is 00:36:54 Yeah. Much like Alpha Gals. syndrome also causes gastrointestinal distress. Jesus. Please consult your physician. With being, uh, it's like a tick that makes you shoved.
Starting point is 00:37:08 He got a chest up to your ass. He got bit. It wasn't his fault. What? He blamed the fucking. I got bit by a tick. I can't. I'm allergic to me.
Starting point is 00:37:18 What am I supposed to do? Fucking Bill Gates. He's trying to worst lie ever. Can you believe the globalist made me shove a GIJ? Geopolitical climate right now makes me do the craziest things. Eat the rich.
Starting point is 00:37:42 But such as life. Don't do that, by the way. Please don't do that. Now, I actually, so you handle one side of with dispatching. And then Cody, on the other side, How is it, did you only work with like one dispatcher when you were doing, or is it multiple?
Starting point is 00:37:59 That would be a team of people. So you get a different dispatcher like every time you're ready to do it in. I am solo. I'm solo in the box. Yeah, I'm by myself. Handle, police, fire, EMS. If I need to land a helicopter on somebody's roof, that's all on us. We're a smaller community.
Starting point is 00:38:14 You're talking about like dispatching or? Yeah. So everything comes through us. It's not a county dispatch. It's a local police department. And in doing that, we are. alone, 12 hours. So if anybody lives in that county,
Starting point is 00:38:29 you could do the funniest thing ever. Well, I mean, like I said, local, I'm a local guy, local guy. But if I need to coordinate with county, if I need to coordinate with like Office of Emergency Management or things like that, that all gets done through us. And if I really need somebody to jump in with me, they'll tag in. But if I'm sending all of my guys on a job, it's
Starting point is 00:38:45 going to be me. What you need to do for the background of your videos from now on is you need to go on eBay, find that exact same GI Joe figure and just have it out. I can, I can find it. I bet you anything. I can find it. guarantee you haven't forgotten what it looked like. Oh, 100%. It's etched into my brain for all eternity.
Starting point is 00:39:00 The way it was smiling at me. Woody, no. On the bottom, it just says Andy. You've got a friend in me? Yeah. Oh, God. Oh, no, if it was a wooded dog. I finally got Connor. There you go.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Do you have a shit-eating grin? Oh. He'd have to wipe that lip, wipe that top lip. Andly walking out of the room, Woody looking back in fear. He actually asked if he should walk out. I'm like, bro, I kind of insist you don't do that. Please don't do that. Yeah, he had his pants around his ankles.
Starting point is 00:39:38 I'm like, we're not doing this. I was like, let's just get the fuck out of here. Let's just get rocks. I don't want to be a part of this anymore. I don't want to go home. No, so when you were doing like, or a guest motor, this is a Cody question. And you, it is. is when you're getting new dispatchers, do you have ones that are just not cut out for the job?
Starting point is 00:40:00 And then that's what I want to know from your side when you get those is like, what the fuck is going on? Yeah. Yeah, well, there's bad people in every profession. And it's not always because they're news because they just fucking suck. Or like they want to talk on the radio over you or they want to interrupt you while you're in a foot chase or just little things like. that that he probably doesn't do at all. That's really funny how you went out of the way to not give them the benefit of the doubt.
Starting point is 00:40:28 And it's like, no, no, no, you'd think it's because they're new, but sometimes they're just horrible. I mean, that's 100% true. Like, I'll sit in there, I'll train somebody, and I'm like, this is not going to, this isn't going to happen. And it's true, just like you said, people who don't have a radio voice, people who don't have a radio demeanor who just want to jibber jabber on the radio,
Starting point is 00:40:43 who want to give 50 words when 20 words will do or 10 words will do. It's a lot. And then, like, he's been involved in things like chases and stuff like that. Shut the hell up, hold the air. Let me do work. We'll figure it out later. But there's also cops that do the same fucking thing. They do.
Starting point is 00:40:55 They talk about. I have a couple of us. You need to call out that you're actively fighting someone, but there's something. And then I found the blue car behind on Susan's house. It wasn't really stolen on the radio. No one can key up and talk because some of the asshole is talking on it. You can't key when. No.
Starting point is 00:41:11 It's one voice. Yeah. So no one talks over each other. Yeah. And I can step on you, but it's not going to do much. Yes. You're not going to really hear anything. has that affected you?
Starting point is 00:41:22 Well, it's like one of the worst situations with you or it's just like a talking over or lack of calm. It's the same thing, just fighting or chasing, like in a foot chase or something. And I can't say where I'm at. I can't tell my friends where I'm at. So like if I get shot,
Starting point is 00:41:34 no one knows where I are. I feel like they should be able to have like a bypass button. It's like a like a, like there's the button you push and then there's like the red button. They shut the fuck up button. If it's like, hey, I've just been shot.
Starting point is 00:41:46 I mean, we have a button like an emergency button that just wide opens the radio. Yeah. That's it. We don't push the old button. I still hear that tone on cop shows sometimes. And I like wake up instantly.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Be-woo, be, bo, be-woo. I'll walk through like wherever, the food store or something. I'll hear a tone that just catches that right note. And it's like, oh, it's fine. It's fine. I'm not working. Yeah, that's the one I'd be like, what the hell? And it's scary because at the end of the day, it's our responsibility to keep these guys safe.
Starting point is 00:42:13 You know, our job is to make sure that our guys are coming home. So we're trying to get them all the resources that they need. And if y'all don't shut the bug up, I can get my guys what they need. That's tough. It's a tough place to be sometimes. Well, and that's where I'm wondering because that seems very stressful because you are taking that first round of information and then passing it off to the guys on the ground and
Starting point is 00:42:32 you have to be like, hey, is this a dangerous area? Hey, what is going on? How many people you're trying to give them a battle plan in two minutes? Yeah, we are a facilitator of information. So whatever I'm getting, they have to get. And the idea is, if I don't have all this information, I'm going to send them. I'm going to get them moving in the right. direction while I'm gathering information and I'm just going to update them on the way so that I'm
Starting point is 00:42:52 not holding off on information and not holding off on a response time by the time they get there if they don't have all the information that's dangerous you know this could be this could be a guy with a gun situation this could be you know a full-blown hostage situation who knows but if I have you know Joe Mike and Steve show up out of house and I'm like yeah this lady's saying you know she hears some noise downstairs and that noise you know five minutes later she tells me oh it's three guys you know kicking through my door you know that's they need this information you know that's dangerous stuff you know Gordon It's easy from my perch in my air-conditioned office with my 50-inch TV, you know.
Starting point is 00:43:23 I can just hang it out. But you've got to keep these guys safe. They're delicate, they're fragile little legs. You know, you got to care of these guys. You know? They need to get held sometimes, pat the head. It's nice. There's that one lady got fired not too long ago.
Starting point is 00:43:34 I think it was last year. Did you ever see that dispatcher and get fired? She walks in. I'm working. It doesn't sound like you got to be working. People were calling 911 and she was picking up. She was like, yeah, I don't feel like talking to you and just hanging it up. And she ended up doing it like dozens of times.
Starting point is 00:43:48 Wait, what? Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. Someone finally got killed because of it who called for help. And so she finally got arrested. How did that take any period of time to not firing them? She said, I just didn't feel like talking to them. I didn't feel like talking to them.
Starting point is 00:44:01 Yeah. By the way, can't do that. Yeah. On an update, you can't do that. That would, oh, my God. That was also, I feel like I'm being trolled if I called 911. It's like, hello, there's a, yeah, I'm good. Click.
Starting point is 00:44:12 I'm like, okay, maybe I dialed the wrong number. That is not. I would look at, I'm like, maybe I dialed something wrong? It is 911, right? is crazy you call back I said I'm not talking my call what am I calling Google 911 so you thought I was calling 911 turns out I was calling freaking Starbucks they don't want to talk to me what's going on here dude yeah she got she got she got one of the cops walked right up to her and she's like I'm working he's like well
Starting point is 00:44:39 no you're not it's time to go yeah it was nuts yeah there's body camera then finally getting there I think she ended up only catching like one charge or something like one that actually stuck but considering you let some fucking die yeah you said that she like somebody died because she didn't answer I can't remember if it was an elderly person or like a baby that was choking also it was something really fucked up and she just didn't send help she's like and the ghouls I know it doesn't answer a phone oh well she answered it wasn't a great combo afterwards not very talking about she wasn't she wasn't really she wasn't
Starting point is 00:45:14 a people person that's that's one of those things that's that's one of those things that drives me fucking crazy about jobs like that. Not necessarily jobs as dire, but like even something as simple as like, oh, well, I work in a hotel lobby. If you fucking hate people, there's lots of jobs that don't require you to talk to people. You don't have to choose
Starting point is 00:45:32 that one. You know, I get the insurance is good. I get. That's it. Fucking go do you something else. Especially something that's life. No, that's theirs. Thousands of calls. She did this. Yes. I didn't realize it was thousands, but yeah. Sure.
Starting point is 00:45:46 Yeah. Each one is thousands, thousands. thousands. Yeah. What was the death? That's what I'm trying to. I shove the GI Joe up his ass. No one will help me. And she was like, Krishanda. Can't say that, Brian. You can't say that. Oh, no, that's. No, that's 100%. That's fine. That's.
Starting point is 00:46:10 That was in Houston? It was in Houston. Yeah. Did I not, did not mention that? It was in Houston. Get the, okay. I need to see if she actually died because that what's pisses me off the most. It was a misdemeanor. Yeah, she didn't go to jail at all. She did 10 days in jail. Sorry 10 days. No, but I mean, that's insane. If someone died, so... Punishment fits the crime.
Starting point is 00:46:32 If someone died because of that and you get 10 days, that is fucked. Well, I'm looking up this, Cody. I get bit by a fucking thing, by a fucking tick. I can't eat meat, but this girl gets 10 days. Dude. It's bullshit. Bush and Williams gets... The officer shooting, or not shooting.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Well, I guess there was a shooting. You just showed us the video the other day. And I was like, oh, we got to talk about this. The lady that has a great mugshot right after. The lady in the park hall. Oh, the one that got punched right in the fucking jaw. Have you seen that one? No.
Starting point is 00:47:09 I don't think of tell the story because this is. It was some type of, I don't know, what ended up in the fight. The video is just hilarious. You see it from the cops, POVs on top of this big fat black lady. and you hear a gun shot. The cop is on top? Yeah, the cop's on top. He's straddling.
Starting point is 00:47:24 It's romantic. And you hear his shot go off. And then you see him grab his radio and go shots fired, shots fired. And rear back and just punch your square in the eye. And you look at the other cop's body cam. He's just a back line. Who's watching this cop. And she reaches back.
Starting point is 00:47:40 And I guess maybe he had just putting his gun up. It wasn't fully in the holster or something because she's able to pull the trigger. And so he gets her hand back and she's still trying to grab at it. He just fucking. just sends it just sends it right into her eye. Couldn't happen to a nicer show. The woman on the ground had the gun. Yeah, she reached back and manipulated his holster and fired a shot from it.
Starting point is 00:48:00 Oh, I see. The shot came from his gun. From his gun, like it didn't hit anything. I was misunderstanding for a second. So it was the cop's gun. She had reached back, fired the cop's gun in Holster. Yeah. And so he just, bap.
Starting point is 00:48:12 He does. How the fuck is he able to, how are you able to fire the weapon from the holster? We had that discussion yesterday. We were thinking it was probably, hey. Like hoods, the hoods down and it's already depressed and it's on its way out. Well, we were thinking, because she was fighting even on the ground, she's like trying to argue a fight. So maybe they drew it. And then when he went to tackle or they took her down, he put it in, but it's seated all the way.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Yeah. So looking for it. Yeah. And just really quick, well, he looks for that. She was charged. One of the incidents that she was charged was involved a convenient store robbery. Witness called 911. To report the robbery, Williams disconnected the call immediately.
Starting point is 00:48:53 Witness called back. She hung up again. By the third call, then it went through to a different operator to get a hold of the police. Sounds like it was an inconvenient story to me. So stupid. Welcome to the podcast. So it was thousands of calls within two years. Oh, I mean, extrapolate that out.
Starting point is 00:49:13 That's basically nothing. That's only like one potentially life or death situation. It's like three times. day you're just fucking it's fine it's fine they teach you that in dispatch school yeah they're like if you don't if you don't listen if you don't really want to talk to them just just hang up they don't teach you that by the way that's the hell Jesus 10 days for that Cody will find this isn't so I mean that's that's that sorry no go go that's that one and this gets taken out of context quite a lot but the
Starting point is 00:49:41 Supreme Court ruling where it's like the was it police have no duty to protect your life I forget the exact ruling on it They're not required to, like, you know, run into a firefight to pull you out of it, that type of stuff. Right, yeah. And then, like, the actual details of that case get, like, by the anti-cop crowd, it gets taken out of context quite a lot. But, like, that's one of those scenarios where I think this might apply. Which is why, like, she's not being, I guess, held liable to the extent I think maybe she should be. You ever heard of Ridge?
Starting point is 00:50:10 They make wallets and Pat Power banks. Connor, show the wallet. This is my real Ridge wallet. You're not holding anything up. Oh, because it's camouflage. Keep all of that. Their sweepstakes is back this year and bigger than ever. What's the sweepstakes?

Whether it's a power bank, a wallet, or something else you've had your eyes on, you'll earn extra entries with your purchase. I've had my eyes on other people's wallets. You just right there and it kithes. No matter what you pick, Ridge has free shipping. Plus a 99-day risk-free trial. Ready to upgrade your wallet and maybe your ride?

After you purchase, they're going to ask where you heard about them. Tell them unsub sends their regards.
Starting point is 00:51:45 wild just if your one job is to do that and then you're actively like just hanging up on people for everything imagine that that's like criminal negligence at the very least at this one point it might be like dereliction of duty abandonment of duty it's there's a whole bunch of stuff that I could just rattle off that was just being a shipperd like we just go with shippard god's fucking insane any luck no I can't find it now made it up it is both post both perspectives but he watches face. Just coughed back. I want to find it from his point of view first. Okay, of course it's fucking shoplifting. She ends up trying to fight people over shoplifting. Always shoplifting. She tries to end up trying to grab an officer's gun over shoplifting.
Starting point is 00:52:30 Oh. Oh, come on. I don't care. You're not me. I don't want to hear it. Oh. Oh, she knows she fucked up. She doesn't fuck.
Starting point is 00:52:48 Oh. Oh my God. Good God. Dude, just wait. I was, oh my God. Now in this perspective, the delay. Where's the, I want to see what kind of gun. Boom.
Starting point is 00:53:11 He had taken the time to call it out and then. See, that's probably why he's in trouble. He thought about it. I was like, I'm not going to, you know what, fuck it. I just, this, he did this and then thought about it for a second and then, That was a decision. Choices. Choices made.
Starting point is 00:53:32 I just love how like everybody in the tussle stops for a minute. After that gun goes off, everybody just goes, show the mugshot. Oh. Oh, no. This is some crazy shit. Oh, no. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:53:55 That's a bad day. She had a bad day. She had a bad day. Maybe don't steal and try to fight a cop, grab his gun. You know, in hindsight, I could see why that'd be an issue, you know? You know what, knowing's half the battle. Brought it back, baby. Hey, you know G.I. Joe, Brandon.
Starting point is 00:54:16 Knowing's half the battle. The other part is getting hit. It could have been the more you know star. Dude, that one is one of those wild ones. Oh, you got to go to just film the whole. bunch of stuff with guns and slow, all that. Up in drive tanks. So you got a video that it's going to be coming out tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:54:34 Not at time of recording this, it'll already be out, but got the G36K. Like a real? Oh yeah. No, I've got a real HKG36K. I've got a Tommy built G36C, but an HK like factory full auto G36K. The Ks are 16 inches or 10?
Starting point is 00:54:51 It's longer than the C. I don't remember. I think it's 16, but I'm not sure. I still love like, one of my favorite firearms. I haven't shot one in a long time, but I always thought they're a fantastic firearm. It's super comfortable.
Starting point is 00:55:05 Agent K in general just makes amazing guns. Yeah, there's not, maybe a missing one. I don't think there's anything from HK I hate. There's nothing from HK that I can think of off the top of my head that I'm just like, man, that sucks. It's usually, it's usually good stuff. It goes anywhere from mediocre to God tier.
Starting point is 00:55:22 A little expensive times. Yeah, for sure. Yeah. But no, the G36 is fucking cool. some slow-mo with the G3 and the MGO815. I can't wait to make that video. MGO815 is like the Maxim gun. Fen or Chase or Darnell, pull that shit up.
Starting point is 00:55:42 It's like a Maxim gun, but they basically Germany retrofitted it to make it like an assaulting weapon. Gotcha. So it's like an original belt fed. Got a lot of use in World War I. Is it a machine gun? Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:54 It's like a belt-fed machine gun. Oh, that one at your office. with the little two. That one? No, that's an MG 15. Okay, MGOA. MG 08. MG 08.
Starting point is 00:56:04 08 slash 15. There we go. There we go. That's what the fuck. That is crazy looking. So it's basically a maxim that was built into a light machine gun. One of the very first cases of such. So it's a design from like the 1880s that got retrofitted into becoming the precursor to things like the 240 Bravo.
Starting point is 00:56:25 Nice, man. This is what your fourth or fifth gun that you. You own it? One of them. Yeah. Is it? It fits in your four guns safe. So that thing on the side, you don't crank it.
Starting point is 00:56:36 So that's like a lever that just slides back and forth. So that's what you use to charge the gun. But it reciprocates while it's fired, which is really cool. Oh, that's done. We got that in slow-mo, too. So we got that. The AC-556, which is the gun that we're doing for the giveaway for the campaign. So the machine gun that we're doing for the campaign giveaway.
Starting point is 00:56:57 So we did a full video on that. And the cool part about that gun is the 18 gun, like the little mini 14. Nice. But it was also the gun that was used in the Gary Fadden shooting, which was the legal self-defense shooting. I just did a video on it. Oh, the only one. The only one I know of. I'm being told that there might be more.
Starting point is 00:57:17 This is the only one I know of where a legal transferable machine gun was used in a justified self-defense shooting. Sick. That's crazy. So this guy smoked a biker. Two bikers were chasing him and like firing guns at him and shit. What the fuck? It's like the Wild West. It was like a 17 mile chase in Virginia.
Starting point is 00:57:35 But it turns out that actually that shooting did take place on the HK headquarters because he worked for HK. That's why he had the gun, I think. But yeah. And they chased them 17 miles? Yeah. It was something like that. It was a long chase.
Starting point is 00:57:47 And like when the cops finally got to him, they were like, oh, well, you know, they try to play it all like, oh, well, I can't believe this guy shot at us. and then, or shot my buddy, and then they looked through the car that was giving chase. The guy was running stoplights trying to get away. Just freaking casings everywhere. Casings, and they had a 357 magnum revolver
Starting point is 00:58:07 that had three fired shells in the cylinder. Still smoking. And a bag of ammunition, like, on the seat with a 22 pistol, I think it was. It was very obvious that they were chasing him and shooting out. The mortar rounds and shit in the car. The scariest part with that, anything you'd be like, fuck, can I have my gun back please after you clear that it is
Starting point is 00:58:29 they did. Oh, they actually did. So it's one of my favorite parts of the fucking story. So after this long drawn out like legal battle and everything, because if you look at the details of the case, it could not be more clear that this was legal self-defense. People might not know this. They will take your firearm, correct? For if any defense shooting, self-defense shooting, blah, blah, blah. They take it. Not every time, but very, very likely, especially if someone's killed. But yeah, they did they did confiscate it during the course of the trial. And because it was a machine gun, it became like very high profile. Obviously the media was all over it. Like, could you believe this guy? A machine gun. How dare he? It was a guy in his fiance trying to run away from
Starting point is 00:59:07 bikers that were like, well, they were bikers, but they ended up getting like a Chevy truck, I think, and giving chase for like some road rage thing. Shooting guns at him the whole time. He ended up pulling out and he's like, I want to say he's like six four. six five, like he was a big guy, gets out with this machine gun. Like his, you know, mini 14, full auto. And he tells him basically, fucking stop right there. Please stop or I'll shoot. And they said, go fuck yourself.
Starting point is 00:59:33 We're going to kill you. Imagine dumping rounds at somebody. And then you get out of the car and you have the wherewithal to be like, stop or I'll shoot. But he, well, he fired off a burst in the air first of like six or nine rounds or something like that. That would cause it. And then leveled it and said, stop or I'll fucking shoot.
Starting point is 00:59:48 They went after him. He slotted the one guy. was going to start engaging the next guy who tried to hit him with a truck in the meantime after his buddies just got clapped tried to hit him with a truck and then police showed up all right. So police showed up
Starting point is 01:00:03 right before all this, right before he could have got shot this guy. So then to your point about the gun being confiscated, they did take the gun through the whole court proceedings. The prosecution was just fucking dog shit. They just, they fucked the whole case up, which, you know, thank God.
Starting point is 01:00:20 Gary, I think had a really good attorney, Gary Fadden, the guy who was the machine gun owner. After he was declared innocent, they gave the gun back eventually. And so there was apparently a friend of his who stood by him through the whole trial, like even through all the media bullshit, all the legal shit being thrown his way, stood by his body the entire time. When Gary got the gun back, he gave it to that friend. As a transfer of a machine gun, he gave it to his friend with a brass plaque in the
Starting point is 01:00:51 stock that said because you understand. That's awesome. What a story. It's fucking cool. The whole thing's very neat. Kick-ass gift, by the way. That's cool. Especially since they sell for about 20 grand nowadays.
Starting point is 01:01:03 Then on the dust cover it said, you're fucked. No. That was a different case. That I don't think he got that gun back. Dude, it's still wilded me like to see him shoot. It's like a burst. And it's still like, oh, I'm going to know, we're going to kill you. It's like peeky blinders.
Starting point is 01:01:20 It's like, oh, if we're playing with guns, let's play with real guns. And then he has, I don't even remember what machine gun that was on the... The big boys? Yeah. Lewis. That was a little... Yes, they had like 19 Lewises or 20 Lewises. Because they stole them from like the BSA or something like that.
Starting point is 01:01:35 Yeah. And they're like, oh shit. Okay. Those things are fucking fun too. The Lewis guns. Allegedly. Oh, no, I have one. Like, if you had your, right now as Brandon is, what is one of your dream guns?
Starting point is 01:01:50 because you have a majority. I know like AKAs, all that, but is there anything now where you're like... Like a gun I don't have? Yeah, where you're like, man, I could really do... I would love that one that would complete the collection. Definitely a Keltec, 100%. I have plenty of those, too.
Starting point is 01:02:05 High points, a couple high points. There's two that come to mind, at least off the top of my head. There's all sorts of stuff. Like I'd love to have like a pack for you or something like that, but like artillery releases. Oh, okay. But one of the two that come to mind is one, a mini gun,
Starting point is 01:02:19 just for obvious reasons. I've never been able to make it make financial sense. Because a mini gun. You'll be like 120 grand starting. Yep. And I just, especially with the YouTube rules on full auto, like.
Starting point is 01:02:30 And that's without shooting it. Yeah. And the, I made a beautiful, from a couple years ago, beautiful range day video. It was a blast. Got to hang out with all you guys.
Starting point is 01:02:40 And then I made this nice video and immediately. YouTube was like, absolutely not. What the hell is this? Welcome to my life. Welcome. But the other one is the orlican. So the orlican is a full auto 20 millimeter open bolt.
Starting point is 01:02:56 It was like a naval gun essentially. But it's like 20 millimeter. But it's so fucking cool because the way it fed, I think it was like big ass drum magazines essentially. Nice. But it is an open bolt, like direct. What would you call that? I'm trying to remember.
Starting point is 01:03:14 I'm blanking on it now. It's kind of like the sten or the grease gun. Okay. Where it's direct blowback. Thank you. Sorry. So direct blowback. So it uses the weight of the bolt.
Starting point is 01:03:24 There's no lock up. It's actually sketchier than that, though. Editor, pull up, pull up that picture because it's crazy looking. Is it a machine? Maybe I'm struggling. It's a full auto. Yeah, it's an orlican 20 millimeter cannon. What's his dick was shooting one?
Starting point is 01:03:39 Oh, okay. In Pearl Harbor. Keep a good and Jr. Probably. Could have been that. It's right before he got his leg blown off. Oh, okay. Dude.
Starting point is 01:03:47 Fuck yeah. I just, yes. Here's what's scary about those guns. And I've seen this go bad for people in like videos and stories and things. Here's why that's crazy. In order to make it so that they don't need like a 200 pound bolt going forward to be able to contain the back pressure. They've got like a big ass like car axle spring essentially behind it. But they're, they're, you'd still need a super heavy bolt or else the round would explode in the chamber.
Starting point is 01:04:11 So they have a operating system known as, I think advanced ignition blowback. Any guesses as to what that means? Advanced ignition blowback. It almost sounds like it's not even clothing. Yeah, like the pin striking without your control or there is, it's not even in chamber yet. Correct. That's what it sounds like. So they start setting the round off before it's fully chambered.
Starting point is 01:04:39 So they use the blowback of like basically the rearward force to slow the bolt before it's fully seated and then it blows back. So what's terrifying about this with if you don't know, Brandon, what happens usually if you have a non-closed bolt while you're firing a gun? It's called an out-of-battery detonation and they explode, especially when you're talking about a super small caliber like 20 millimeter. Exactly. Firing soda cans at somebody. It's still so cool.
Starting point is 01:05:07 I want one so badly. I mean, we used them all through World War II. Like, they clearly worked. It's just sketchy as shit. Designing that or having that in mind as a. solution is just wild to me because I imagine being the pitch meeting dude yeah yeah guys okay listen hear me out this is gonna work because I've seen one open like a what was it called when it out of battery and it peppered the dude's arm that I
Starting point is 01:05:31 seen it happened with it and that was on a two two like a 308 maybe now look at what happened with Scott right now imagine that happening with a 20 mil yeah and I think it did happen at one point to like Knop Creek like the big machine gun shoot like a few years ago somebody had an out of battery with an orlican. Because especially if you're not using like military ammo, like a lot of people are using reloads, which are usually safe, but sometimes shit happens. So that would be your.
Starting point is 01:05:58 Orlikin, minigun. There's probably a couple of things I'm not thinking of. But I got some unicorns lately. I can't wait to pull those out. That's how I like it's, I finally got my unicorns and I'm like, okay. Have you talked about your newest acquisition? Which one? The Femas?
Starting point is 01:06:13 A briefly. No, yeah, I guess not really too much. about it because I got the final MGS collection that I've been waiting for for years and to find a FAMOS was very happy. It was the last piece of the collection. And you could a deal on it too. Yeah. And then serial number 44 and then just being able to say, oh, I got a FAMAS, but watching everyone's reaction too because gun people that know it like when we were at mission Ridge,
Starting point is 01:06:44 everyone like they would be checking out they'd be like holy fuck is that a real from us and then the crew started walking up everyone started looking out they're like what the
Starting point is 01:06:54 it's the meme the is that a super that's right we're doing a perfect gene ad you can tell that they're perfect
Starting point is 01:07:02 because of the way they are look at Brandon he's perfect and the genes complete him because they're perfect actually I don't think I've actually
Starting point is 01:07:10 worn a pair of these but that is really really stretchy although I've Those are fantastic. That's why I wear those. Like I've never seen like a band of a gene that stretches that way. Don't you hate it when you have to fit jeans that don't you hate it? That you, um, you had.
Starting point is 01:07:25 When you have to pick jeans that fit thighs or waist. I always have a hard time finding a pair of jeans that fits my delicate bird-like legs and my juicy fat ass. But not with the perfect jeans. Are you constantly having to pull them up or do that awkward mid-conversation readjustment? I'm constantly read read readjusting my crotch in conversations. Same. Starting point is 01:08:25 The perfect gene and use code unsubscribe 15. Whoa, but it's, and then we got to shoot it, have a good time. Pass that out. Like, I was just like, oh, that was pretty much at W.A. 2000, but I, I mean, those are just not. It's way too high. Meanwhile, I'm over here like, hey, man. We just passed the Third Circuit just had a case where we very well might not have to only have 10 round bags. This is awesome.
Starting point is 01:08:52 You guys are like, I just got a howitzer. The third circuit did you shoot down your assault weapons. Yeah, man. I'm loving this. I might have to go out to the lake and, you know, find some stuff underwater. I love the thought that you didn't just lose it in a boating accident. You actually have like crab traps that are underwater full of all your shit to pull up. But listen, I'm not...
Starting point is 01:09:14 The booty is just floating, marking it. It's like all of a sudden, the entire state of New Jersey is buying scuba gear. The... It was awesome seeing... Who was it the measure? Was it Josh with your team? It was just... Zach, just the level of autism is what I love to see on gun builders.
Starting point is 01:09:34 That's what you want with the gun builder. Sorry, like... A thousand percent. A thousand percent. I'd rather see that. We were recreating our own from the moss receivers. just to try to rebuild the one the one kit that we had or like one of the couple kits that we had and so we're like running the CNC trying to figure this out and we had one that worked
Starting point is 01:09:52 and it worked pretty well because we had stub so we have all the measurements on it but like they're torch cut aluminum so it's like some of the cuts in between it's like you're kind of guesstimating how wide that gap would be and the Fomass was having a few issues because it was too long like the gap in the magwell was just like a few foul too long and so Zach then corrected the receiver but then yours came in and so he's like oh can I can I take some calipers and double check this motherfucker nailed it nice just nailed it all he's like the only thing I learned here is that I fucking rocked it it was awesome to see that
Starting point is 01:10:30 game recognized game there we go what about you Cody gone you gotta have like oh something I won't yeah I mean we sure custody sometimes of the MP 7 so that's And John. That was always, yeah. And John. It's the two things you trade. You hand him to the MP7. He hand you, John.
Starting point is 01:10:48 Two weeks. I don't like that. That sounds weird. That's what both of you say. For the record, John is my God's son. This is true. No, I was going to say you're going to get, like, every once in a while he swings by and just gets conjugal visits with the MP7. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:03 That's it. Just pets. I don't shove it in my ass. Sideways. Listen, man. You don't. You don't know. You haven't been to that graduation party yet.
Starting point is 01:11:14 You never know. Why's the mag sticking out? Meanwhile, I'm over here like my freaking dream guns, like a regular stock AR-15 with a collapsible stock. That would be fucking great. I'm a lot. Hey, Jersey. Yeah, right?
Starting point is 01:11:24 Jersey. Anything with a suppressor. Anything. Just what? We have nothing. A lot of my friends up in Jersey, a couple of the friends that I know were just like, oh, cool.
Starting point is 01:11:33 Thanks to the third circuit. I don't have to worry about getting arrested with the guns I never sold. Exactly. 100%, not that it's not possible. We sold them all. They're all gone. All of them. Mags are gone to.
Starting point is 01:11:45 Or pinned. Of course. Outside of that, Cody, any other, where you're like, oh man, not really. I mean, we're friends with Brandon.
Starting point is 01:11:53 So anytime I want to shoot something, I just go over to his house and take it off the shelf. I would like to see the baby. That's what I swear to God, that's probably why it's the easiest thing of not shooting any of my guns because I'm like,
Starting point is 01:12:05 I could shoot it, but I can keep it. But Brandon has three of them. So, yeah, I can keep it in museum. quality where I'm like, do it doesn't get touched. I could shoot the Famas, but Brandon's got 11 of them, so why not?
Starting point is 01:12:16 I shoot the FAMAS. We shot the fuck out of that FAMOS. Oh, did you really? Yeah, because I mean, it already was shot. I've only shot mine, but that was like with the repo receiver and everything like that. And that's where we were having like a couple jamming issues. I've never shot like a quote unquote real like fully original FAMS. We'll go take it to the fucking thing and dump some rounds.
Starting point is 01:12:35 I know, terrible. I was asking the gun guys or the, range cadre when we were at mission. I was like, you want to shoot it? Just casually pulling out the word cadre. Isn't that what they're going? Oh, no, it's totally fine. I'm retarded.
Starting point is 01:12:48 I was like, maybe I used the wrong. No. Just you're pulling out one of those words where I think like, oh, you're using chat GPT on this essay. Military, you had to call him that. But just point, they'd be looking. I'm like, oh, you can shoot in. And you're sure?
Starting point is 01:13:03 I'm like, yeah, it's fucking gun. Have fun. Okay. Immediately just go dump now. Hell yeah. dump around or two. I'm like, yeah, yes. It shoots, chef's kiss, chef's kiss.
Starting point is 01:13:15 And then you just, no, fuck. Yeah, man, I'm not like a nice bar or something cool, you know, something fun that I can send down range for a couple hours. I can't have them, you know? That's why I'd listen. Best case scenario is we get a couple laws that kind of favor us in a little bit and I'll start being able to pick up some cool shit. That's Supreme Court thing might.
Starting point is 01:13:32 It might help. Yeah, it might help. We're expecting a ruling by like, ideally like fall. That'd be great. And if a Supreme Court makes the right decision, which I'm really like, I think they will. This might be the right court to do it. Yes.
Starting point is 01:13:43 Yeah. So I'm super active. Did you double up on watches? Oh, they gave it away. Have you been gaining one watch like every couple of minutes? I just, sorry, that just struck me. Yeah, so listen, we can, we. Now you have to talk about it.
Starting point is 01:14:01 I'm embarrassed. It took me this long to notice. How were you doing that? Listen, it's not easy, bro. No, it's not easy, right? I only told Eli about it. It was for the one. watch guy.
Starting point is 01:14:10 Yeah, because he's like, yeah, I know his watch. Wait, what the fuck? I swear. There you go. The pepper box watch guy. I've been trying to throw him off every now and again. Yeah, yeah. So I was trying to do it too.
Starting point is 01:14:21 So I got fucking watches for days today, just so he had something to look at. You got the Pepsi, the G-shock. We got the Pepsi of G-shock. We got an oyster perpetual. Oh, no shit. And we got a BB 58. But actually, all these watches kind of meets up. So when, when Avery was born, when my little girl was born, when I was growing up,
Starting point is 01:14:36 I was love. You hit with it. Touch it. Smell it. Don't put it in your butt. or if you want you know i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry but when i was uh when i was growing
Starting point is 01:14:47 listen growing up i knew nothing about watches we were in a family that that were able to afford watches like that um and growing up the only watch that i knew like when i think the word watch i would thank the the pepsi from roles because it's it's just distinctive it's red and blue it just it has that distinctive look to it and i said to myself once i started learning about watches i'm like one day you know once something cool happens if i'm able to afford it the first I'm going to buy that's substantial is going to be my Rolex Pepsi. It turned out to actually be this guy was my oyster.
Starting point is 01:15:15 So that was the first one that I picked up. But when my little girl was born, I said this is going to be, this is going to be the watch that I hand down to her. So I ended up picking this up. And actually the bezel is set to the time she was born. So I was wearing this in the hospital when she was born. I was slowly ticking it and ticking it and completely not paying attention to stuff. I'm just taking this away.
Starting point is 01:15:36 And finally, you know, when our little girl showed up, that was it. it and then the BB 58 so my black bear my black bay I picked this up when the YouTube hit 100 K so that was all the watches that I own I feel like they they don't just tell time they mark it for me and every time I look at the watches I can remember something something cool you know this is when I finally was able to literally afford to buy anything cool and then when Avery was born and then when the YouTube hit and this is actually marked to when the the YouTube hit 100 K I don't they just want you, they just went to, boop.
Starting point is 01:16:10 That's adorable, because all day yesterday, I was staring at the bezel on your Pepsi and noise. Did it drive you crazy? So let me tell you. I'll tell you a fun story. I had the same experience. I'm like, because I'm like, I have to have it centered all times. You're like, I got you.
Starting point is 01:16:26 I'll tell you a funny story. So when I was, it was when you guys came up to Jersey and the next day, Ethan, a habitual line crosser and I and stuff and his wife, we're all hanging out and having a great time we went to the mall we were just chilling you know doing what jersey boys do you know going to the mall hanging out having an ice cream cone and uh exactly 100% well i'm surprised we didn't get standing that alley freaking but anyway but yeah no i took my i took my watch over he's like oh this is really nice you know i actually sent eli a message i sent him a text i said you know you need to talk me down bro i sent him a picture of his panorai that i really liked i like you need to talk
Starting point is 01:16:58 me off the ledge man but uh yeah Ethan he's like oh i love this watch I was like Steph was like oh my God I'm like it doesn't matter it's just things you know at the end of the day it's just things
Starting point is 01:17:11 I'll reset I'll reset he's like oh my God I'm so sorry I'm like it goes back it's fine that was habitual line crosser right yeah HLC did that I just dropped
Starting point is 01:17:21 I'll never go back to the exact same place again I was making sure it was the habitual line crosser that it never moved to that point right you marked it
Starting point is 01:17:30 and he's like Ethan Man. Tisks. We talk with each other by twisting the vessels on each other's watch. We all do each other at the airport and we'll like crank the bezel just to piss each other. I love that. And like none of these are like brandy new.
Starting point is 01:17:43 Like I got these off like watchfinder. You know, I'm not, I'm not sitting in a Rolex boutique where I'm going to. You can't even get them there. Yeah, it's true. But like, you know, you go in, you put your name down. I like, I don't have Rolex patience, you know. Which is wild to have any brick and mortar when the brick of mortar cannot get used to purchase said watch. It's wild.
Starting point is 01:18:03 They make you feel stupid too. They're like, oh, you want to spend 30 grand with me? Who the fuck do you think you are? Yeah. First off, get out of our store. Of course we don't carry watches. What purpose? What kind of store carries watches? It's like going to HB and you can't buy food. You just have to wait for it to get delivered.
Starting point is 01:18:22 Yeah. And you also don't ever know when it's going to be delivered. They don't give you a date. They're like, if it's available one day, you might get it. Well, when's, is there a time frame? could be a year, could be next week. And it's like, oh, fuck, okay. Here's my 40 grand, I guess. Dude, I'm so pissed. I just seen one of the Ferraris when it came out.
Starting point is 01:18:42 It was 2020. I showed everyone pictures. This is the SP3 is like this weird 70 style Lamont back. Beautiful. But I was like, oh, man, they're going for, oh, 1.5 million. I still, I was like, I guarantee that one's going to shoot up in price. Two years. In two years, 1.5 million.
Starting point is 01:19:01 Guess how much it. Just sold four. 7.6. What? 10.5 million. I was going to say something. I was going to be like 25 mil. I was like also
Starting point is 01:19:13 with these one little cool thing is that. The invisible in the glass. Fun fact. So if you look so. The only thing you can see on this one. You know about that? So with it, we'll see if you can punch in.
Starting point is 01:19:28 You're going to have, it looks like clear glass. You can actually come close because the camera's going to say it. So. There's a laser etched crown. Nothing. Right down there. There's a laser etched crown right by my finger.
Starting point is 01:19:45 You have to adjust the light for your own. It's like literally like. Isn't that like one of the checks for like a fake? Yeah. For sure. So fun fact about some of these watches though. So this particular one, so this is a case here. Is that a real Cassio,
Starting point is 01:19:58 um, is that a real Cassio, G-Shop? Yeah, you want to trade? I don't know. G-Shack. I got a door of the explorer. It's a limited edition. It's the, I believe, the illuminator. If you push this button here, it lights up.
Starting point is 01:20:11 Whoa. Battery's been running for like seven years. I marked it the birth of my first child as well. It's a beautiful watch. I hate that my casio is the only watcher you can go to my house right now that is still perfectly on time. And I have that watch. Do you have one of those like rotating things, like the watch? safes or whatever.
Starting point is 01:20:34 Yeah. I do. Yeah. I do. Does it work for you? Still with a watch unless you have, and again, this is like the, if you have a tour beyond, it might shift throughout the year like 10 seconds, but all watches have a varying degree of like up to a minute or two minutes per month.
Starting point is 01:20:52 Yeah, like this one's MTAS certified. So this one, I think this one's like, last forever. And hyperaccurate. Funny about this one. So this is a K series. this one was actually this I think was made in like 2001 to 2005 this doesn't have that etch this is pre this is pre-etch I love watches yeah Cody got me in this toism so I blame him I was I was in a business meeting the other day with a guy who just like casually was wearing I think
Starting point is 01:21:19 was it was an IWC turbion and I like I looked it up just out of curiosity I'm like first all like immediately recognized it as a turbion I'm like casually Google it I'm like that's a quarter million dollar watch like easily good god brother I've I've never asked another man like can I see that watch but for fuck sake I got to watch I got to check it out as one of the few times when you yeah I'd be like hey just can I just hold it real quick can I smell it I will tell you still some of the most reliable watches I've ever had in my life I used to like fuck around with Invicta watches because like I couldn't afford a Rolex like for the longest time I remember yeah I know it there's a
Starting point is 01:22:00 There's basically a Submariner clone that looked just like the Rolex I always wanted. $90 at the time at least, $90 from Invicta. I fucking love that watch. I still have it. Well, I think we don't talk about, it's one of the hardest things. I think we all feel like douchebags if we talk about any of the stuff. Other than guns, I feel like guns, people have more of a, they don't judge you as much as when you have a watch and you try to show. In the apocalypse, a gun is useful.
Starting point is 01:22:28 Cars or anything, I feel like a douchebag. talking about or showing I'm like I don't want any I don't know why maybe that's just me but the only people that care other people that like watches everybody else will be like oh it's a what that's my favorite part though it's true like people be like that's a what yeah it's nice because like unless it's a Rolex like you talking about any literally any other brand AG paddock you know whatever the fuck women will never know it's just other dudes yeah it's just like working out past a certain point it's like once you have abs it's like women are just like yeah And other guys are like,
Starting point is 01:23:00 hell yeah, bro. That's awesome. You lift it today, bro. You got that swole going. Where did go, man. But yeah, it's like, that's how it really is. Buying shit to impress other fucking guys.
Starting point is 01:23:10 Yeah, 100%. 100%. Yeah. I mean, I didn't even know any kind of watch period and then learning about like APs or anything past Rolex. Oh, this is an entire world. There's a whole. Torbions.
Starting point is 01:23:24 What are these? Oh, the price. Holy shit. That is not my level. Well, like my mechanical brain, like with the engineering autism, like, I think they're super fucking cool. I look at the price. I'm like, I cannot justify that. Connor, when you use nicotine in the past, what have you been your biggest frustrations? Turns out you can't get as much of a pump going when you got a sig in your mouth at the gym that I go to all the time.
Starting point is 01:23:48 Was your recovery time worse on nicotine? Oh, and how? It narrows your blood vessels and restricts oxygen to your muscles. It makes it hard to breathe. and your blood doesn't work. Counteracts the pump. Ultra pouches are perfect for athletes, runners, or health conscious people, because they're 100% nicotine-free.
Starting point is 01:24:07 You pop one of those bitches five minutes before your workout or your workday, and bam, you're gonna be on fire. A lot of this shit is actually just good for you, like L-theonine, vitamin B-6, vitamin B-12. Also, they help quit your cravings and they suppress your appetite. When do you recommend taking ultra? I'm gonna do this before the gym. Before I'm pumping it.
Starting point is 01:24:27 Crazy style. It's got new tropics. Neutropics. Newtropics. What's your favorite flavor, Brandon? Mine's tropical. I like cool mint. Ultra is the ultimate guilt-free pouch.
Starting point is 01:24:38 Delivering instant focus and mental clarity, all without nicotine or caffeine. New customers can use the code unsubb to get 15% off at take ultra.com. That's 15% off at take ultra.com when you use code unsub, UNSUB. And like the Torbion when you, as a, like the mechanical brain, when you see how it operates, how it's the most active. accurate because it's cool as shit. Gravity doesn't affect it like your standard mechanical. But then you realize that was built in 1790. It's crazy to think, right?
Starting point is 01:25:09 Yeah, Torbion's an old concept. Torbion first watch. That system, which is fucking wild, June 26, 1801. That's 1795, patentant on 1801. Crazy right. And it actually worked Back in 1795 And that's the dude that came up with how that works
Starting point is 01:25:33 And it has been the exact same since then No shit That's where I'm like holy fuck On that note kind of like bringing it back to like military shit or gun shit One of my favorite little tidbits is You know we actually designed the mini gun In the 1800s It's like the modern you're thinking the GE like M134 mini gun
Starting point is 01:25:52 It wasn't there a pen or something or go on with it. So what basically happened was, do you remember Iron Man 2, I think it was, where like Tony Stark has to figure out, like his dad left the instructions, like kind of hidden on like, there's this new element, but we don't have the technology right now.
Starting point is 01:26:11 But you'll figure it out one day. That's basically what happened. Because somebody, and I don't remember the exact details, but somebody looked at the Gatling gun. You know, the crank, you know, has like a 20-round magazine, 40-round if it was huge. just clunk clunk clunk clunk clunk and like rotary barrel thing somebody looked at that and we had electrical motors and you know like very basic motor technology at the time we can fuck some shit up with that and they were like huh what if we attach that motor to that gun so you didn't have to crank it and you could just hit a button and just yeah burn through ammo and basically they couldn't find a way to feed it and make it like reliable and battery tech or whatever so somebody basically filed blueprints they're like one of these days we're going to solve these
Starting point is 01:26:54 three problems. My favorite part though is that like one day like after World War two some guy at GE pulled out those blueprints and went, oh fuck we can do that now. We can do that. We have bell feds now like this is cool. Hold on. Wait a minute. Let me attach this little fucking. Somebody take this radio belt on this thing. Take that washing machine electric motor and let's put it on this fuck at it. Oh shit. Steve, come here. It was so much money when we press that button. And then the A10 was made. And the rest is history.
Starting point is 01:27:27 But I just think it's fucking neat. Like we had like all of the blueprint, like all of the ingredients to make the mini guns so early, we just had like three roadblocks. And then as time came on, it's like unlock, unlock, unlock. Yeah, it's like a quest. You know, you're going on a quest. You do not have the resources. The princess is at another castle.
Starting point is 01:27:46 Dude, I was watching a video on, you remember demo disks? Who remembers demo disc? They came with GamePro magazine. Yeah. So literally it was, hey. Crash Bandicoot. Yeah, PlayStation. PlayStation 2.
Starting point is 01:28:01 You'd get a magazine, a demo disc. Play some new games. I didn't know about one demo disc that had a massive issue that they recalled immediately because they got fucking caused a lot of issues. Was it PlayStation Magazine? So there was the demo for Beautiful Joe, too. Do you guys remember Beautiful? Joe. That sounds familiar because of the angry video game nerd. If you've seen the character, you would be like, oh, I remember that back in the day.
Starting point is 01:28:33 It logged you into only demos. Yeah, there you go. Real quick, sorry. That is the patent for the... Oh, yeah. So 1893, they had the electrical gatling gun. In 1893? That's cool. And in 1895, electricity was created. So Beautiful Joe was like an old...
Starting point is 01:28:51 He was an assist character in Super Smash Bros. Yep, exactly. So, and then it was originally GameCube game. 2D, side scroller beat them up. Really cool fucking game, or RPG, I think, kind of like a mix. They released the demo disc for the PlayStation 2, and if you played it and you got to a certain part, it would automatically reformat your entire memory card. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:18 What? I never knew about this, and I studied lots of weird video game lore. get the fuck out of here and it was just people angry because there was forums at that day and they're like why the fuck did this erase my final fantasy 10 save my memory cards actually got what the fuck that's an elite troll though they did it on purpose it fuck these nerds what if it was just one guy quiet quitting from the company he did a good job do you guys ever do a quiet quit no i don't think so when i left my uh my job at a restaurant that i worked at i left a five five or six day emptied but still had some in it chocolate protein shaker right in the office pop a lid oh yeah you guys
Starting point is 01:30:01 know you guys know what happens after you guys that bad boy protein stinky oh stankies I actually sorry Mike now now that I think about it I quiet quit college because I'd already made the decision well because I was already dropping out so like I knew I was just gonna fucking leave so my last semester after I'd already made this decision so I'm like man I don't have enough time Because I had already started my gun company at the time, the YouTube channel and everything. I'm like, man, I really want to give this my all. And I can't do that because we had mandatory attendance at the school I went to. And so I saw if I went to Shot Show and really like tried the AK50 and like YouTube and everything,
Starting point is 01:30:37 I would be losing half of my absences right out the gate in the first like week of school. So I'm like, fuck it. I'm like, I'm just going to drop out three semesters deep, give it a shot. And then after that, I just, knowing I didn't. give a shit about any of my grades. It was the funnest thing. Fuck it. I did a, so I was taking a public speaking class at the time.
Starting point is 01:31:00 And I think my final like public speaking exam essentially quote unquote, like the like, we had to like give a presentation in front of the class. I think I completely went off topic and just gave a presentation on why I was leaving the school. I love that. It was fucking great. Talking about quiet quitting college.
Starting point is 01:31:17 But you did a presentation on why you were quitting then? It was, it was a public speaking class. So I had to give a final presentation. I like just ignored the prompt. It was it was basically the the college version of this isn't an airport. No need to announce a departure. Basically, yeah. But well, but the cool part was I had a really fucking chill public speaking teacher. She loved me. She was awesome. Afterwards she was like, well, I can't give you a good good grade technically, but that's fucking cool. Good luck. Basically like that's pretty neat. Why I quit college. Oh, how bad was drive tanks? You guys, uh,
Starting point is 01:31:51 We didn't even get to talk about. We had a fucking tornado touchdown like next to show. Which was crazy. Two tornadoes. One was like an F1 that fucked up the pallidium. Yeah. And then there was one in a lottes, I think. Okay.
Starting point is 01:32:05 That's where the second one. Was it just F1 too, just like a light? It's very light, but it still like did some damage. But yeah, it was a lot of flooding in my district. Like the basically West San Antonio to like Evaldi, Sabinol, con can areas like that a little bit curvil as well and it was like a
Starting point is 01:32:25 I've never got that many alarms on my phone before and then I think I said it or I don't know if I did but I didn't know my house alarm system has a different sound it wakes you up and then when we went and checked because we were like what the fuck is that sound
Starting point is 01:32:44 went and looked and it was like tornado warning take Shelton we're like oh that's a new thing Dorothy too is parking the middle of your street. Yeah, I was like, uh-oh. There's also been the move to make a lot of changes after curvil. Like, just because a lot of that was the lack of early warning system.
Starting point is 01:32:58 And it was in the middle of the night and a lot of power went out. And long story short, a lot of failures, a lot of small failures accumulated to 135 people dying. Oh, shit. And then that's why this year, I mean, was the flooding just as bad this year? In some places, it was a lot worse. That's what I was thinking. Up by me is underwater. The good new, wait, wait.
Starting point is 01:33:19 Yeah, up by me, it was underwater in Jersey. No shit. Yeah. I didn't even know anything was going on in Tristan. Dude, show the fuck. Dude. I didn't realize they flood. Yeah, we flooded.
Starting point is 01:33:29 Just a quick. Fucking period. I did not know that was the thing. Go on. Just finish that thought, though, is even though the water in certain places was much higher than it was during the Curville flooding last year, it was a lot less violent. And we had a lot more heads up. And people took it more seriously. So while property damage might be worse, only two deaths so far that I know of.
Starting point is 01:33:47 So the loss of life was a lot lower. So I find a good one, a good one. Hoboken was like underwater. Maybe if I just searched like Hoboken. Well, that's good. There was only two. I mean, it's unfortunate no matter what. Two is too many, but it's much better than 135.
Starting point is 01:34:04 Exactly. Yeah, Hoboken's underwater. Hoboken, no joking. Yeah, the new Aces River and everything like that was just destroyed. Or we're not destroyed, but like destroying shit. There we go. Hoboken Beach. Damn.
Starting point is 01:34:17 Nutty. No, New Jersey. Head floods. So I knew we had a bat and then you guys went out and did the helping out delivering energy drinks, water. Yeah, we also started that GoFundMe, which is still active, should be at time of recording. Basically, we set it up to try to help with a lot of the relief efforts and stuff like that. So the actual name of the GoFundMe, if you'd like to contribute, is relief for Uvaldi area flood victims. It's not just for Yuvaldi specifically, but it's for all.
Starting point is 01:34:49 the counties and towns around that. That's nice. A lot of those guys are, they're in a tough spot right now. And the first responders, you know, bringing out energy drinks and things like that for them. It's- Damn first responders. What's that? Those damn first responders.
Starting point is 01:35:01 Those damn first responders. Well, as you know, I'm sure a lot of those guys are working around the clock with very little caffeine. Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah. And you, you've stopped your, or you canceled what you were doing on in West Texas to come back and actually help as much as you could down here. were we were going to be going out we had events scheduled in places like you know loving el paso places like that we still love you guys but this was clearly where our priorities needed to be make a joke i can't make it and cut it oh i got it got it but it was awesome to see that just the
Starting point is 01:35:43 response and then texas getting i mean especially when you see how big of a difference that made in what a year Right? What do you mean? From Evaldi, like now the new system's in place. Well, like, yeah, people are taking it a lot more seriously this time. So when you get an evacuation warning, you're like, hey, we're about to get a fuckload of water. It wasn't as violent.
Starting point is 01:36:01 Like being there and seeing, I mean, you saw it too, like out in Curval, like just the damage that the water did. It was just so violent. Just how high that water got. I mean, it's hard to do it justice. Even pictures didn't do it justice. but when you're there and you know where the water line or where it's normally at year round and then you see how it just ripped up fucking trees and then brought people wasn't one dude found like 50 miles or something crazy from his house he just there were a lot of stories like that and
Starting point is 01:36:34 you know the the woman that got found in the tree and everything like that but i mean you and i went out the first night with west verdell on the fourth like kind of cut the july fourth celebrations a little short and went out as soon as it happened and just looking out and flashlights and shit and seeing like cars in trees and just shit like that it was I've genuinely have never seen anything like it that's terrifying yeah I mean fortunately we haven't had to deal with too much like that but yeah when we catch when we catch flooding it gets really bad all the towns that I work for are either on the river or have some sort of water going through it and it just it just gets messy
Starting point is 01:37:10 and mind you those towns are real close to where you guys were so you those towns are or underwater as meanwhile I'm here But that's the crazy part about what with West Texas specifically is that most of the problem that we have 98% of the year is that we don't have enough water. So we're like desperate lack of water. And then it just all dumps at one time. Crazy. All of it dumps at one time. Two years in a row now.
Starting point is 01:37:37 It's like, yeah. Who is also who do you want to give a shout out? Who gave these? Oh, yeah. I had some coins for you guys. That was the sheriff of Ward County. Oh, nice. Sheriff Macon.
Starting point is 01:37:47 We've got a lot of amazing sheriffs and things like that out. You've got Sheriff of Ward. You've got the Sheriff of Loving, David Landersman, a lot of great people out in West Texas that really just don't get enough resources. You know, a lot of people, especially in the Permian Basin and areas around it that are tasked with a big responsibility, you know, taking care of the, you know, the oil fields and things like that, the energy infrastructure of the United States. Sure. And they just don't get any funding because there's so rural. There's no people that live there. Out of sight, out of mind type of that's a shame.
Starting point is 01:38:18 Their populations are so low, they don't get the resources they need. And so, you know, working with them as much as we can to make sure that their people are taking care of is, you know. Gift, man. Good for you. You know, and that's important. You got to take care of the people that take care of you, you know. Yeah. Brandi, you're doing that Congress thing.
Starting point is 01:38:32 I know, I feel like it's just taking years off my life right now. Not the good ones. Not the funny ha-ha guy I used to be, but, you know, I still am. I just have to be serious more often. They're not taking the shitty ones off at the end. They're not taking the good ones. we just had to delete some of the jokes now I'm still the same guy
Starting point is 01:38:49 I just have to put on my serious boy pants a lot more often my censorship pants that joke's gonna fuck me up it's crazy it's never the shit I think it's gonna be through the thumbs up random posters does the Kentucky ballistics
Starting point is 01:39:08 stick a thumb in it stick a thumb in it how did it take us this long in the episode I think about That's such a good joke. That's a good joke. Damn it. Yeah, fuck that.
Starting point is 01:39:19 It's awesome to see that and then just being dedicated to it because I would have. It's also funny too to like, you know, bring it up with certain like law enforcement groups and shit like that. And like, oh, yeah, no, I'd love to do something with you guys, you know, support you. Bring up my buddy. I don't know if you know, like, donut operator. And they're like, wait, what? I thought you were donut operator. Wait, who are you?
Starting point is 01:39:43 You've been pushing for government this whole time. Yes, this is he. I just thought that was his real name. What the fuck's going on here? That bad, they get hyped up and be like, wait, you'll bring out Cody? Okay, yeah, fuck, yeah. I still just tell people, I'm you when they ask.
Starting point is 01:39:59 It's awesome. I got that challenge coin now, too. Have you showed that off yet? Yeah, I don't know if I've shown up here. I've got a challenge coin made that says not Brandon Herrera. And I give these to people who come up and they're like, I'm voting for you, man. Like, yeah, well, here, here.
Starting point is 01:40:15 I just want you to have this challenge coin. Oh, awesome's on the back, too. I don't even know that. That's fucking dope. Because I think that was the guy who made your challenge coins. I think he's the guy who makes mine as well. Same, dude. Oh, what's his name?
Starting point is 01:40:29 I can tell you right now. Yes, please. Give him a shout out because he just fantastic. He's the one that did the Purple Heart coins. Or was? Mandatory fun coins. Yeah, he's the one that did the Purple Heart at the live show. The live show.
Starting point is 01:40:41 Yeah, he was like fantastic. So always a big shout-up for him. He's a great dude. Brandon Herrera Challenge coins. These are actually the new ones. Now, before it said, Republican Congressional candidate, now it says Republican congressional nominee for TX23. Nailed it.
Starting point is 01:40:56 And now it's almost done. You just got to do a little more. It's 108 days, not that anybody's counting. Right. 107. Here we come. It was weird watching, reading your nice, literally you're just posting you racing.
Starting point is 01:41:11 and then someone's like it's the only race you're going to win I'm like really I'm bum I was like this is the first thing you go to that's where you went huh we can delete this segment I was just like wild to see when you're just like hey
Starting point is 01:41:24 well the crazy part was there was like they just like launched a new fucking attack against me as I'm posting pictures of like being there for the Evaldi flood victims and being out there like hey or like prayers for the troops deployed I just got back from Jordan these guys are in harm's way hopefully they come back safe.
Starting point is 01:41:42 Like you do little stuff like that. They're just like, by the way, you're a piece of shit. And I'm like, okay. Yeah, luckily I've been on the internet for, you know, 10 plus years. So I don't know. Well, everybody on the internet's super kind. It's sweet.
Starting point is 01:41:54 I know, well, yeah. I'm more offended for like the other, like the other people. Like the people who've just had their, you know, children lost, you know, overseas and things like that. Seeing that, it's just, I don't know. To me, it's graceful, but whatever. And are we allowed to talk about any of the, the combat stuff going? Sure. Yeah. What do you want to talk about? Well, I just didn't know if it's, I didn't
Starting point is 01:42:15 Google or see if it's actually news yet, because I didn't even know you're the one that informed. He's like, hey, that base, you were just at got struck, right? Yeah, that one in particular, I think there was like 10 drones or rockets that attacked that base. Eight got intercepted. I want to see on that one, there were two wounded, thankfully no deaths at that time, but there's, there were two more deaths that got reported out of Jordan and then one out of Iraq. So it's still like there's a lot of service members in harm's way. I want to make sure that they get home safe. Are they using drones now or is it like missiles?
Starting point is 01:42:53 It's a combination of both. That's so wild to me. And drones cost like nothing. It's crazy. The future of warfare seems to be like reverting back to paper airplane. Yeah. That's what it feels like. Finding a drone that is just minimal cost and just lower.
Starting point is 01:43:07 and just lower the cost and then raising the cost of intercept. Well, it's, I mean, when we were there, you never had a, that did not take place. Missiles coming in did not take place. It was dude pulling up in their vehicles. They just aim and shoot out a couple mortars. And they were really good at Kentucky windaging of where they're just going to land. They're just trying to hit the base, though.
Starting point is 01:43:32 And then they bounce out. And then they go to next plot. What kind of motors were they using? fucking shit old Soviet shit yeah literally put put out like they're pulling up they're launching it and then bouncing
Starting point is 01:43:46 just kicking that was it back in the day so I guarantee I guess I never well I guess I never questioned the supply chain it was shit that was being funded by Iran or like old Chinese shit or like Russian shit left over from Afghanistan
Starting point is 01:43:58 and there seemed to be no shortage of munitions for the locals to use back in GWAT like old artillery shells for IEDs and things like that. So the Soviet area Iraqi military, 60, 81s, and 82 mortar tubes. And they just would pull up, launch a couple, and then bounce. And that was all we were used to.
Starting point is 01:44:22 That's why even the idea of a missile coming in is very foreign or drones. Very foreign. When I was there in Jordan, especially like, so the two bases I went to was KFAB and JTC shouts out all the people that were out there. you guys were fucking awesome, loved every minute of it. But they were showing me videos. They were like, oh, yeah, I was there. You know, that's what you see the end of the corner there.
Starting point is 01:44:46 I was there when I recorded this video. And it was like the first couple days of Epic Fury where, you know, there was a lot of rockets being traded back and forth between the U.S. Iran, Israel, Iran. And over like, specifically JTC, I think, it was right in the middle of where rockets were getting intercepted. And they were just look up in the sky. and it was just a light show of missiles being fired and blown up right over their heads, which also leads to its own thing. Like you're trying to avoid the dodging trap. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:45:17 Yeah. Yeah. Pretty much. It's wild to me. We took pictures inside the little bunkers, stuff like that that they have, which are basically just like, I don't want to get too much into the construction, but it. Yeah, please break down. You have the plans, right?
Starting point is 01:45:30 You can put them up right here with weaknesses. I'm a, obsec 100. I'm uh well we also we asked them a lot too of like you know what can we take pictures and video of what can we not like we didn't want to you know put any of our guys at risk 45% fortified well it's just wild hearing the difference because that none of that fucking existed when you were like it's a bunker I was like oh it's the literal concrete uh half a square that you go under and and that's it's crazy okay that's the one thing I wondered because uh it they just they don't want to so much it's so much. No, and that's fine. Like, don't show them that. It's just how war changes but doesn't really change. Or, as you're saying, it starts to re-gross.
Starting point is 01:46:12 Yeah. That's not. Yeah. Well, right now, like, I think the biggest thing is going to be trying to figure out how we can reduce our cost of intercept. Like, there's a few things that I've been talking about, but I think there's ways to do it effectively. But, yeah, basically making us more financially efficient in intercepting these things. so we're not launching multi-million dollar missiles. Like the 22 minigone.
Starting point is 01:46:38 Do what? 22, so it just, because they're pretty accurate now with the AI system, so that way it just tracks, like a robotic AI one that could catch. I don't think it's got the distance you'd want. Hmm, interesting. Yeah, because like what we're trying to.
Starting point is 01:46:53 Well, this is sorry for drones, I would say this. For drone, yeah, well, not for like the big like sheheds and things like that. Because, yeah, what they're trying to do is like bait us into using multi-million dollar missiles. Of course. Which is like that's, anybody who studied things like the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan knows that like, okay, that's unsustainable. Like that's one of the reasons why they kicked ass is because they figured out the Stinger could take down, you know, a very cheap manufactured missile can take down, with a fairly untrained user could take down a multi-million dollar helicopter. Which if you own a stinger system that's inert and want me to buy it, I will because it's the last piece from Metal Gear Solid.
Starting point is 01:47:26 He would do that for sure. I could find you one. I have one person. They thought they had one for me and they're like, oh. I was like, no, it's nice. I didn't get it. Eli, I'll take that off your hands for you. He's a nice guy.
Starting point is 01:47:36 He would do that for you. I'm like, please, please. No, it's just the different, um, just where combat has gone. And then this is the first time we fought an actual military vehicles in any helicopters, missiles. We haven't done that in 40, 30 years, 40 years. I don't think it's been that long. Six weeks. Iraq, 20 years.
Starting point is 01:48:01 we didn't have any of that. I'm trying to think of like, I'm trying to think of like a pre-GWat, like, yeah, early, like highway of death kind of shit like that. Oh,
Starting point is 01:48:13 yeah. So that's, Hastings. It's still 35 years ago. Yeah, I guess it's kind of getting up there, huh? 35 years ago,
Starting point is 01:48:23 we fought a traditional military. Yeah, you have everything going on like, but we didn't fight any of the, in Russia or any of that shit. No, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:48:33 It's just been, ground soldiers and then whatever, Afghanistan. Proxy wars. Yeah. Proxy wars. All we've been dealing with for the last second 30-something years. Yay, war. If I'm not mistaken, I think the global war on terror ended up giving way to a lot of
Starting point is 01:48:51 EMS protocol that we have like a lot of people couldn't use turnicates back in the day and stuff like that. Really? Because of GWAT, we ended up being able to use a lot of that. Oh, yeah, that would be a lot of wound package. From your side and your side, what changed with GWATs? or an act of military or war or the tactics that came with it because I know GWAT updated a fuck ton on trauma.
Starting point is 01:49:12 Yeah, big time. Wound packing changed a lot. Ternicate use changed a lot. But all because of, and obviously GWAT's not exactly the best case scenario for anything, but, you know, that's, that did come out of it. I mean, if it's going to happen either way, might as well learn. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:49:26 And we learned a lot. We learned a lot from it. Ternicates were more, less used because fear of. Yeah, you would think that you would lose the limb. Yeah. They would always tell you're going to lose a limb. You're going to lose the limb. But, and, you know, you do all this research and all that stuff.
Starting point is 01:49:41 And now it saves limbs. I've, I've had a few instances where I've had the tourniquet limbs. And I mean, I've, I've, I've turnedicated limbs where that limb was not viable. It's noticeably not viable. But we're not trying to save the limb. We're trying to save the rest of you. But we've also, you know, we've tourniquid limbs. We've had people have punctures right to their femoral.
Starting point is 01:50:00 We had a whole conversation about femoral bleeding the other day. and yeah, you bleed out fast from femoral bleed. That's a huge artery. And we've 100% stopped people from losing limbs, losing arms. Don't turn to get the neck. But, yeah. Bullshit. But if you want to stop a nosebleed, turn it at the neck.
Starting point is 01:50:20 You're all. But yeah, they 100%, you know, if it gets a little hokey, you know, just write the time on the forehead and blood and you're good to go. That's it. We'll save your limb if we can. I've had the turnic at limbs a couple times. I was telling that we had an instance where kid crashes motorcycle that he was 100% not stunting into a barricade into a barricade on the highway and you know that took off three quarters of
Starting point is 01:50:43 this kid's leg and I had to tourniquet it three times or two two or three times to stop that bleed but we stopped we stopped the bleeding he survived he actually still stunts I'm on here if I follow him honest to Graham he's pretty cool but but yeah he still does it without the leg yeah yeah I'll try to find his Instagram if I remember the name of it but I don't follow that many people so I should be able to find it. I thought it was faster. I mean, two minutes is still wild. You can bleed out from formal.
Starting point is 01:51:06 Oh, yeah, 100%. You dump leaders. You dump leaders from your femoral. Oh, it's terrifying. It's the size of your pinky. It's huge. And then every time your heartbeat, that's why?
Starting point is 01:51:14 Every time I hear someone say, why did he shoot him in the leg? Why did you shoot him in the leg? I'm like, why you want to fucking kill the guy. What's fine? Yeah. We've talked that through in the podcast. People who don't know anything about guns are just like,
Starting point is 01:51:23 oh, well, you could just do a non-fatal shot, like to the leg. Like, I would, unironically, rather take, like, Take one under the shot. Yeah, shoot me in the arm. Whatever. I don't, yeah, but you're not, I mean, you're not trying to shoot. Also, the level of how many people could in a stressful situation be like, okay, I now need to shoot on the right side or the outside of their leg perfectly to neutralize this individual. Oh, fucking.
Starting point is 01:51:48 Easy. Handful of people in the world. Yeah. Easy. Piece of cake. Yeah. Police officers just like shoot as many times as fucking possible until they stop. This guy's gunwling off at his holster.
Starting point is 01:51:56 being very aggressive but we didn't have I know we were just trained for immediately put a tourniquet on if anything happens you're just turnicane in combat yourself you're supposed to do it within like seven or ten seconds of you acknowledging you got injured or exploded whatever it is it's as fast as possible yeah worry about it later if you can save for battle buddies that's why they're all in one central location rip it off put it on them tie it off I mean better too would not need it then need it and not do it it's true worst case scenario you know whatever but you're going to live that's kind of crazy to me that like before gwatt turnicates weren't like a widely accepted yeah it just wasn't you know wound packing was almost a no no dude that's really yeah
Starting point is 01:52:41 holy shit the degree you have to wound pack is way more than you would it's not oh here i have a bandage yeah pressure you just shove that shit in you're the empty yeah yeah you're the mt yeah You have, we have, uh, the first time you'll ever tell people to shove shit in. Yeah, exactly. 100%. Different hole. Different whole. Different object.
Starting point is 01:53:05 Theoretically, you weren't born with a hole that you're ruined packing. But, uh, yeah, you know, we have, you know, heemstatic dressing, stuff that'll, that'll, that'll quick clout and you just get it in there, fucking, fucking, you know, whatever it takes, you know, stop the bleed. That's, you know, there's, the old adages, blood goes round and around and around, the air goes in and out, any deviation, fucking fix it. You know, that's, that's our, our motif, you know, if you're bleeding, and we got to stop bleed. That's our first thing. They teach you your ABCs, or your airway, you're breathing your
Starting point is 01:53:31 circulation. Unless you're bleeding, then it's C. First, you got to stop that bleed. Otherwise, you're not going to make it. Who cares? You're breathing super great. Got to stop that bleed. And that just wasn't a common thing before all this. Well, all that wound packing. It was wild to see how much you're supposed to pack the wound, though. That's what always blew me away. I was like, oh, it's like a. Yeah, if you have a major, a major rip, you're, you're stuffing the entire. Your buddy's going to be screaming or the individual you're packing that wound is not going to feel good for them and you're going to be like I'm killing this individual that's not the case you'll thank you in 10 years
Starting point is 01:54:05 yes but it is it is a violent fucking just shove it in until you see no blood period I don't know if you have a metastatic dressing by the way it does not feel good on its own you know I've gotten to see like people like skinny medic and stuff like that like they do the training courses and shit like that and you know never got to do like an official course or whatever but i've seen them do demonstrations and stuff like that just showing like yeah just keep fucking packing that shit in because they've got the dummies that they've got the little thing where they squirt blood out of absolutely like the training kits i can give you a little little slit on your finger and put hemistatic dressing on that and it'll be the most ferocious fire pain you felt all the time this stuff it burns some
Starting point is 01:54:45 of these things burn yeah and matter rising you know imagine imagine imagine that you know an inch deep inside of you yeah it's rough It's my favorite thing. Trauma. That's my biggest figure. Trauma is an EMT's wheelhouse. Like we're fine, you know, with our difficulty breathings and our diabetic emergencies and all the boat. Listen, EMTs are, trauma's our wheelhouse.
Starting point is 01:55:08 We want to make, there's only, with medical calls, there's only so much that we can do to make a medical call better, you know, as non-medics. There's only so much that we can do. Trauma, we can fix you. We'll put you back together. And we'll do our best to get you back together. And then it's cold steel, hot lights and diesel fuel. Let the die. the people that are a little smarter than us on fuck you but we'll we'll get there we'll get you
Starting point is 01:55:28 there yeah what so with any of the police training did anything change or did you hear it's like oh this actually changed throughout time as uh from vets coming and joining the yeah it was it was definitely we didn't have tourniquets until i was in for like a year so i was a cop for like a year really and then it was actually like a couple of veterans came over who were emTs that were doing part-time on the swat team they made those guys full-time swat team guys and that brought turnicets and like here's how to use them like no one even had turnicets and this was like 2012 we still didn't have them did they have to ever have to throw one on you just to kind of show you how to do it and like actually torque that thing down on you yeah they just showed yeah feels like
Starting point is 01:56:06 dog shit man turn it gets you always move their balls try not to get a nut in there yeah i'm sure they appreciate that they'll also thank you in 10 years yeah they'll also thank you in 10 years turn it until the bright red blood stops yeah going that's it's it literally the rule of them who just go just twist if they're not screaming you're not doing it enough I hate that too. Everything where you're like, I'm just killing him more. Because it's like you twist it until they scream. You pack it until they scream.
Starting point is 01:56:32 Oh, my arm, bro. Fuck your arms. The rest of you're passing out. Your heart's doing this thing where it's beaten. He's alive. We have one of our buddies got shot here. And he got lucky because Medic reached in and pinched his. But like, you're talking one of the most painful fucking place ever.
Starting point is 01:56:51 He took a lot of nerves. Yes. Random A.K. around just sniper hit him here they had to reach and it fucking just just got it fucking pinched with his finger didn't even try to pack it he just clipped it and just held on and they they ride with him to the hospital yep yeah man that's dope that's dope that's dope that's dope good win that's a big win yeah yeah listen when when when it takes you a while to clean up the floor of your ambulance when you when you have to be like you know
Starting point is 01:57:21 we're back uh back in town hold us out for decon you don't call back in for like two hours. But that guy at the hospital, he made it. You know, he's alive and we get him there. We did something right. Cody, is your truck done yet? What, my F-250? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:57:37 No. Jesus fuck. Why is it not? How long ago is that? In two days, it'll be seven months, exactly. Wait, what the fuck? I did a dude pulled out in front of me. He didn't have any insurance, and I nailed him with my, like, brand-new F-250.
Starting point is 01:57:55 Oh, fuck. Well, you nailed him, but it was his fault. Yeah, it was his fault. He just pulled directly out. On the freeway, you know, when they divide and you, you're supposed to just stay in your lane. Even if you're, you know, even if you missed your exit or something, just stay in there.
Starting point is 01:58:09 Just stay in there. Well, he didn't. He said, I go now. And right out in front of me. Just smushed his little CRV. But that was seven months ago. So, like, I'm pretty sure, like, cartels already taken it and ripped it around the Mexico desert
Starting point is 01:58:23 with a bunch of blow in the back or something. Like, they're doing something At least somebody's having fun. Yeah, but it was a, it was a, it was a Shelby, so it took Shelby a lot of time to get the parts in. That Kylie 250? Actually, on the 23rd coming up here in a couple days, it will be exactly seven months,
Starting point is 01:58:36 and that's when all the parts come in. That's when the parts come in. That's when the parts come in. So they can start working on it. Yeah, it's pretty cool. Pretty neat. I can get parts real fast for my forward explorer. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:58:48 I didn't realize it was that long ago, right? Yeah, dude, seven months. It was two days before Christmas. Oh, my God. how my god Merry Christmas Jesus Yeah that was cool That was cool
Starting point is 01:58:58 Yay Oh shit I know Do you have any new When's your next Um Video coming up Your
Starting point is 01:59:05 Um Uh Yeah I need to I need to Make some videos I know I feel that
Starting point is 01:59:13 I feel that I feel that I feel that I'm for crime When is it Yeah I've been slacking in the video department
Starting point is 01:59:19 lately We'll get back on top of that Crime is fun Crime is fun I'm fun I'm really I'm reading it. I'm reading it.
Starting point is 01:59:25 You say time for crime. Yeah, I said time is fine. I like that. I love time for crime. It's on his shirt. I'm just fucking stupid. Like Cody, stretch for a minute. You just pop that chest just like that.
Starting point is 01:59:37 What are your next videos that you're working on? Or do you have, you got your long form, so you start a podcast and then you have your other long form, which is more of you reaction-based stuff? Yeah. So I do a smaller podcast where I just kind of, I just talk to creators and we talk about the creators. And we talk about the creator behind the creation. I have creators, I have makers, a bunch of really cool people. What is the difference between a creator and a maker? Oh, one creates and whatnot.
Starting point is 02:00:02 So makers are people who do things like they make watches, they make jewelry, they make things like that. I had a guy from, I had Nathan Trafford from Trafford Watch Company. I bought actually a Trafford watch when my Facebook crossed the million mark. I bought a Trafford watch. And I had, oh, so it's such a cool little, it's a micro brand. They're super cool. on like if you guys ever watch like the Teddy Balde Sari videos if you guys do like Teddy Baldassari
Starting point is 02:00:27 watch videos they he won a contest with them that's how I how I found them and uh just really cool little micro brand company that does a really nice job making nice watches um it was picked up one of their day trippers uh I can show you that one um but I have uh let's a day tripper Blue. So that was Trafford Watch Day Tripper. So it's not exactly this watch, but it looks similar to this. Okay. One of these guys.
Starting point is 02:00:59 But yeah, so we do the podcast. We do my short form is over on the original batch 502 channel. And then I started doing through my 502 reviews. That's the new channel that we created was 502 reviews. And that is kind of reaction videos. to, now listen, I've never been, I work in law enforcement, sure, but I've never been a cop. I've never been in the military, unfortunately. And so it's hard for me to speak to like weapons and tactics and things like that and shootings. Like I just, I don't, I don't understand that enough
Starting point is 02:01:28 to be able to speak educationally about it. But I, listen, I can bust balls as good as fucking anybody. I can make fun of you and you will not know I made fun of you for another 45 minutes until I walked away. So what we are doing is things like, do you? Do you? Do you? The, you, UY's cases, stuff that a 911 dispatcher would send you to have to understand EMTs would show up to. And we're doing like DUIs and EMT showing up to a DUI. Oh yeah, we do it all time. Really? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 02:01:56 When people crash their cars. Oh, well, well, yeah. Well, yeah. In the words of Ron White, anything's a DUI checkpoint if you crash your car into it. Exactly right. I'll give you first. The first one that we just did was the assistant attorney general. She was out of Newport, Rhode Island.
Starting point is 02:02:13 I said New Hampshire, yes, but Newport, Rhode Island She's the Assistant Attorney General over there And she's getting like trespass her in place She's had a couple too many drinks And they're like, all right, this lady's got to go It's getting jacked out of here And it's like her, her friend and the two guys And obviously two guys are super fucking helpful
Starting point is 02:02:26 And then she's with her friend who's just screaming And it's Newport Rhode Island They're just hoity-toity rich motherfuckers Who just want to feed So this is what she's an AG So she knows what she's talking about But she's talking about like You need to shut your body cam off
Starting point is 02:02:40 All this stuff and I'm like well first off No, no the fuck they don't. I mean, there's situations where they might ask you to and it might be viable if it's like a super delicate situation. You can ask that, but still going to be the officer's discretion. What would a situation be that you would shut a body cam off? So, yeah, so if it's like a DV conversation that is getting hyper personal, if they're talking about juveniles in a certain way, but there's certain things, again, that officers can technically have the ability to do it, but they're still not going to.
Starting point is 02:03:09 You're going to cover your bases. Like, no officer is really going to be like, we're shutting our cameras off. I was going to say I feel like no matter what, like even if it is super delicate, like that's something, if somebody admits to something that's like, oh, well, that's like a child crime. Yeah, exactly. You want that stuff on. There's there's so I can, I can think of very minimal reasons why anyone would try a BWC off. But she keeps telling them that they have to shut it off. You have to shut it off. mind you, she's in the middle of a wide open restaurant front with a couple cops and she's just screaming, I'm an A.G. I'm an A.G. I'm an A. G. I'm an A. G. And I'm like, well, you're fucking, first off, there's two aspects of this. Right. First off, you can't just scream I'm an AG
Starting point is 02:03:45 and expect people to not do something because first off, look at all these people that are watching. Right. So if you're like, I'm an A. G. They're going to be like, oh, okay. Well, we can't do anything that. No, you're going to get fucking jammed up because these cops are now going to be like, well, well, I can't not do anything now because everybody around you is going to be like, whoa, they're letting her go because she's an attorney general. So on top of that, like in public, you have no reasonable expectation of privacy. Correct. 100%.
Starting point is 02:04:09 100%. Now the other half of it is, and God, I guarantee you you're going to feel at least 5% this way. Cops do not love AGs, man. They don't love AGs. They don't love prosecutors. If I was to arrest somebody for 15 freaking crimes and I go to court and they drop nine of those crimes
Starting point is 02:04:27 or 13 of those crimes, what's the way to do all that work for? I just did all this work trying to, And these guys are just like, nah, you're good. We're just going to get them on this and we'll call it. Especially your area. I guarantee it's fucking, what? Oh, yeah, never mind.
Starting point is 02:04:39 Now I get why you would not like them as a. I'm not going to bring this partisan wise, but let's say, I'm assuming this was a soft on crime, AG. It was it Newport, Rhode Island, baby, you know? So was it a soft on crime, AGE? 100%, most likely. Like, there's a spot in it where I was like, the cutaway was, what's your superpower? I'm rich.
Starting point is 02:05:00 It's like, what do you say? Just a bunch of rich people that aren't being, that aren't used to being told no. And I think she said, one of the officers was like, looked over at the guys and it was like, can you get your kids out of here? It's like getting real angry. I'm like, that's fucking hilarious. Like, maybe not the height of professionalism, but still fucking hilarious. And please get these kids out of here.
Starting point is 02:05:20 It's fucking ridiculous. But yeah, so we're doing things like that where it's going to be just breakdowns of things like that and just kind of chop busting. And hopefully it's funny. Hope you guys like it. I like to think I'm a little funny. sometimes. Yeah, stuff like that. We'll let the comments decide.
Starting point is 02:05:34 Yeah, we'll let the comments decide. I did the watch thing for you. That took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out. So I had full disclosure, I had told Eli about this on say hi yesterday. I'm like, listen, I'm 100% doing this. I'm like, I don't know if the watch guy is going to notice, but I wonder if they're going to notice because I'm going to make sure that I'm keeping them like kind of close and kind of jingling the G shock around banging it around a little bit.
Starting point is 02:05:58 But I was like, it took them a surprise a long time. I had three on by that point. Yeah. I didn't get the fourth one on. And then where can people find those ones at? Like where do the internet people find you? Dear internets, how are you? I am fine.
