Hey, go, buddy, got it.
Here we go.
Hey, you know what?
What do you guys should be doing this?
But you can't because I have all the power.
You do.
Hello, fellow gamers, and welcome to the video gamers podcast.
Lai.
Woo!
April is here and a new month brings new game releases.
Which ones stand out?
Which should be on your wish list and which shouldn't?
Well, we'll be talking April's hottest releases,
giving away some games and more.
But before we get to that, some introductions are in order.
I am your host, Josh, and joining me,
he can't wait to play Mouse P.I.
And agreed to start off the episode doing his best Mickey Mouse being a gangster impression.
So the floor is yours, Ryan.
Hey, guys, do you got any of them drugs?
Is that a gangsters do?
Is that what gangsters do?
I had no clue that this is going to be.
I also didn't know that was going to happen.
But, oh, that's right, Ryan.
We have drugs.
Well, wait, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait, hang on, Ace.
Hang on.
Hang on.
And joining us, he wanted to point out that the top two game releases this month are both
Indies, but then not to be outdone by Ryan, he agreed to do his best Mickey Mouse
gangster impression.
So take it away Ace.
That's right, fools!
Tendee's again!
Niddi's number one!
Oh, God.
It's ridiculous, honestly.
I am drums!
Look on, me away!
This is my turf, brother!
Oh, yeah!
I got only a wood mouse in this town!
I didn't mean to start this!
Oh, no! Oh, no!
I'm sorry, everybody.
I'm Mouse P-I! You!
M. M.S. P.U.
What?
Oh, man, that's pretty good.
That was pretty good.
That was not bad. That was not bad at all, man. Oh, goodness. Well, welcome to another live episode of the video gamers podcast, everybody. For those that might be listening on your car ride or something like that, we are recording this live on YouTube, Twitch, and X. So we'll see how this goes. We've done this once before. I'd like to think that we're a little bit more professional at this point, but let's be honest, probably not.
But we're going to have a great time no matter what as we talk about April's hottest releases.
Guys, it is another banger of a month for video games.
I mean, we had a massive list of games that we had to go through and be like,
okay, we're crossing that one off the list.
We're crossing this one off the list.
You know, we've got the big releases for the month.
There's four of those that we have trailers for.
We're going to watch together so that people that are with us can watch.
these trailers. We have a dumb game that is going to involve chat. We have each found a very
funny Steam review for a game. Chat and we want you to start thinking about this. You
guys get to determine how we read this funny Steam review. Okay? And we have four
options for you. The options are we will read it in an anime voice, a Discord mod voice,
Miss Dalfire voice or overly dramatic trailer guy voice.
And when it comes time for that,
we will let chat vote on each one of us.
You can pick a different one for each of us,
but we each have a review to read.
We thought that would be a rather fun little stupid game
since we like being stupid around here.
And then we have some game giveaways to do as well.
Did we even figure out how we're going to do that this time?
Last time we had trivia,
I don't think we decided that at all.
so uh ace you better think of a trivia question for these games yeah yeah it's that
keep yapping i'll find something to do don't worry we're going to be yapping that's for sure so
but it's going to be a great episode everybody um we love doing these these uh kind of at the start
of the month to remind people what games are coming out you know it's it's there's some great
games replaced replaced is coming out this month that's probably my number one most excited mouse p i
I'm going to be honest
I'm not that hyped for mouse P.I
but that's like a me thing
I know what you can do brother
I know I'm sorry
I'm like it's mice
don't kill my family don't kill my family please
I got a wife and kids Mickey
oh it's too late you're gonna have to 100%
if you want to see them again
yes so
I like that I started this
I mean it's my fault
he's crazy
but
oh my gosh
All right.
Guys, we got a lot of games to talk about.
Let's just dive into some of these.
Okay.
There's a few that are already out because this is, you know,
it's April 6th when we're recording this.
We're doing it live.
So there are a few games that are out already or by few,
I mean one at least that's worth mentioning.
And that is Darwin's paradox.
Oh, we already know how you feel about this game.
I was going to say,
what do you guys want to talk about this one at all?
Like, Ace, I know you played the demo.
Ryan, did you ever play the demo in this one?
I did not play the demo.
Although, like, I know, obviously we know how you feel about it.
To me, it still seems like there's a lot that could be there.
I will probably have to check out the demo to confirm my suspicions, but I don't know.
I haven't, Ace, you played it, right?
Yeah, I played it, and it's also out currently.
So I was just going to check the reviews and see what people are saying.
People are saying.
I don't know.
It seems like there's a lot that you've played.
could do i mean you're you're a freaking octopus like there's a lot there like so you know there's
so many avenues to go through but also the little sneaking thing and the easily discoverable and
and i remember josh was not too happy it's very much uh metal gear salted uh that's a good one
that's not bad it's a stealth game where you play as an octopus it's go left or go right game
and then hide and then just get discovered and then rinse and repeat so yeah what are the reviews
on this one, Ace.
It's currently very positive.
Let me see.
Get an actual number for you here.
I know I picked on this game because it's not necessarily my kind of game, but there
were a lot of people that were excited for this.
It's very positive at 90% of 203 reviews currently.
Okay.
I mean, that's no Mr. Sleepy Man, but no.
That's not bad.
That's not bad.
It's not quite that 99% like he is.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, all right.
So Darwin's Paradox is out now.
That's on PC.
Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch 2.
That one is out already.
Guys, this game could not be further from what I think Ryan would enjoy,
but it does look a little crazy.
It's a game called People of Note.
Do you guys remember this one?
Ryan,
Ryan's like, I'm just going to leave the podcast for a minute.
It's a turn-based rhythm game.
I don't think there's anything worse you could put in front of Ryan.
Hold on.
I got rhythm.
You don't have rhythm, Ryan.
Oh, you're crazy.
I got more rhythm.
Both of you put together.
Absolutely.
I mean, I know you have more rhythm than Josh.
I heard how Josh is.
How am I going to?
How am I going to put?
I got all right now.
You know, salsa?
Yeah, salsa.
Yeah, also to dance right now.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, Ryan is scared of it.
He's like, he's like, he's a chat.
Chat wants.
I don't want to kill the pot.
You know what?
Salsa dance it.
The Chad doesn't believe you.
They're not.
saying anything about it i don't know what i thought dang it you're like it i can see the track i can see it
right there oh yeah oh man he's scared he's scared this also this game looks i mean i could see this being a good
game it comes out tomorrow so it could release this on april 7th for pc xbox playstation
tennessee switch again so it's on all the platforms it's got the kind of like fortnighty kind
of graphics which can we get away from that you know
Like I know it's easy or maybe there's developer kits where it's like here we've pregenerated
Fortnite graphics for you, but it's like I'm kind of tired of Fortnite graphics, man.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Is that just because of Fortnite?
Just too much Fortnite?
They all look the same.
The influence, I think, is what's bought.
And again, I would like to believe that it's like there's a dev kit where it's just like pre-built graphics so you don't have to worry about it maybe.
I don't know.
But this game looks like Fortnite.
Okay.
But it is a turn-based tactical
You have a party of people
They're all musicians
And they have different like music styles
And you fight enemies that are also
Like one looks like a giant like pipe organ monster
It's you know you have abilities
It's a turn-based RPG
I don't know it looks okay
But it looks unique at least
This is the stupidest game ever
Turnbase
Nobody buy it
Nobody buy it
Don't sabotage them like that
This is an indie game
I'm just kidding
No, hold on, hold on.
I take exception to that.
Just because they're indie, you're supposed to like accept the bad game.
You're not supposed to tell people not to buy it just because you tell people not to buy games all the time.
What do you mean?
You're Mr.
Don't get AAA.
Yeah, but this is probably like 25 bucks maximum.
That's a lot of notes.
That's like a quarter of a good taco.
Yeah.
I guess it is a quarter of a good taco.
You and your hundred dollar taco.
I'm just saying.
And it's okay to call it as you see it.
I don't see any world where a rhythm-based,
singing, turn-based, like, game like that does well.
It's not for me.
If anything, it's not for me.
Maybe people will like it, I'm sure they do.
I understand it would not for you.
I understand that.
I like the way they're trying to go with it, though,
taking, you know, turn-based combat and a rhythm game
and trying to combine that.
Because I don't think I've seen that before,
which is very, very interesting.
And if music's good,
Yeah, the music did seem pretty neat on that one.
So, yeah, I don't know.
This will be a game I'm not.
But our job is to put games in front of people.
And we've talked about this one before.
It does look unique.
So at least there's that.
Now, a game that you can tell people not to buy, Ryan, is this next one.
Because Starfield is coming to PlayStation 5 tomorrow.
So, Ryan, why don't you tell people why they should save their money on Starfield for PS5?
And Dr. Joe Nasty, cover your ears.
I think that you.
should not save your money and i think that you should buy it if you like any bethesta game this
will cure the itch until we get elder scroll six uh or fall out five it is the typical
bethsda game um i i i hate i hate that every character is a something born now but it's
it's a quality game it's it's got the standard beths a jank um there's nothing amazing about it but it's
it's a decent game.
So like get it if you like this style.
Okay.
That was the nicest thing I've heard you say about Starfield, Ryan.
Good job, buddy.
Good job.
Yeah.
I'm trying.
Yeah.
I'm on the payroll.
But we pick on Starfield a lot.
It is a good video game.
I have always said that it's not a bad game at all.
I know that people kind of take that to be like, oh, well, you're saying it's bad.
We're not saying Starfield is a bad game.
We just have a little bit of fun picking on it.
The big takeaway for Starfield,
Field for me was that I had to wait 10 years.
Bethesda hype this up as the next greatest thing to hit gaming.
And it felt like a mediocre fallout slash elder scrolls in space kind of game,
which I mean, again, that's not bad, but it just wasn't what we were hoping it would be.
You know, so there you go.
But it is, it is worth playing.
I mean, you know, it's one of those games that it's worth the experience.
Bethes has got to stop shooting themselves in the foot by now.
things way too early and building way too much height.
I'll be honest, I'm not sure they can, Ace.
Like, Bethesda is not in a good place, in my opinion.
It's not far for Tom to shoot, though.
Todd Howard definitely doesn't have a hard time.
Should I say Tom?
I said, I mean, Todd.
We knew who you meant.
Oh, did you see an article right?
Todd Howard confirmed they finally started development on Elder School 6th.
What do you mean?
Just started?
What are you guys doing over there?
Only 15 years later.
No big deal.
What are doing at Bethesda?
I feel like these guys are like, they're like the crew of people where it's like they're like, you know, they're playing ping pong and and like shuffleboard all day.
And then like at some point they're like, we should probably try to develop a game.
And then they spend like 30 minutes on it.
And then they're like, oh, can we take a break?
Like I'm really tired now.
You know when like in Wolverine origins when like that guy is just trying to get like longevity in life and live immortally?
you know that's that todd
Todd Todd's just trying to get taller
that's what he's doing all this time he's using all the
bethesta money to get to get high
yeah so wait for the star build remastered shadow drop
in 2043
yeah that's funny true
it's really funny
all right and then guys this
I'll be honest this is not my this is not my
my you know like franchise
but I looked into this one
Pokemon champions releasing April
eighth this is like an arena
battler where it's just
making your Pokemon fight but it's got
flashy graphics and it seems like it's got
good tactics and
this took all the things Ryan would enjoy
out of Pokemon out of Pokemon
and now it is just the turn base combat
yeah yeah how do you feel
you're our resident Pokemon guy Ryan
like is this just ruining everything
for you? Not
totally like I haven't played a Pokemon
game in a million billion years
but uh but I
I just always, you know, Pokemon is the one kind of turn-based because like, that's how they always were in the show. So I don't mind it as much in that. But I mean, I'm not going to play it. I mean, I'm sure a lot of people are. It's the biggest franchise ever to exist.
It's going to sell millions. Yeah, it's going to sell a bazillion, you know, things. So yeah, I'm most likely not going to play it. But I'm sure it's going to be good. Hopefully they can start turning this into making good Pokemon games.
What was the Pokey?
There was a Pokemon like Tekken kind of game.
Oh, Poken.
Yeah.
Poken tournament or whatever.
Gee, where they come up with that name?
Poken?
Right.
I have that.
That's not a ripoff.
Yeah, my daughter bought that.
And that one was actually kind of cool because it was a legit, like, fighting game.
I liked that one, but I also got to play a chandelure, which is my favorite Pokemon.
Shandilure.
I like how you said that with just enough of an accent, Ace.
Which, by the way,
They need to stop making so many dang Pokemon.
Like, they're getting real lazy.
Yeah.
Like, it's just, it's, isn't there over a thousand now?
There's a, yeah, there's a lot.
There's a lot of them.
Every time I get a new set, I'm like, what is this thing?
So there you go, Pokemon champions.
Can you guys guess which platform it's exclusive to?
Oh, oh, gee, I wonder, is it the iPhone?
Definitely not the iPhone.
Yeah.
Can I get one Nintendo Switch 2?
Yep, Nintendo.
Yep, Nintendo.
Actually, on the original Switch 2, Ryan.
Oh, it's on both.
Oh, they're going backwards again.
So kind.
Look at Nintendo being generous, you know.
Yeah.
Lucy said Switch 2 mentioned Lucy is struggling in losing the fight,
trying to hold out on getting a Switch 2.
I love this so much because I was there a few short weeks ago.
my wife wanted to play Pokemon Pocopia.
We didn't have a Switch 2.
I was like, this is not worth it.
And then we got it.
She has been playing Pocopia every day.
And it's like, okay, this was absolutely worth it
because she is just as happy as could be playing Pocopia now.
So, Lucy, you know you're going to break down and get it.
Just get it.
Just give it.
It's too late.
Do it now before they raise the price.
Yeah, honestly, look, the responsible thing to do would be to just buy it now
so that you're practically saving money.
Basically.
Yeah.
Basically.
Isn't it like a PlayStation, a PS5 is like $150 more than when it.
Yeah.
Oh, it's so much more.
It's basically forced into getting a Switch to at this point.
You might as well.
You know, yeah.
Wait, should I buy one now?
We win.
We made you make a bad financial decision.
I'm reaching out to Nintendo now to get our paycheck.
Yeah, you know.
Or they'll sue us because we mentioned them at all.
Oh, yeah.
Guys, I don't know what to think about this next game, man.
Okay, so Samson...
I have mixed feelings on this one.
Samson comes out for PC only, April 8th.
This is a gritty kind of dark mafia without being like gangstery.
It's more like just underworld, crime.
Yeah, it's more like city underworld sort of stuff.
Yeah, it's weird.
It's weird.
It's weird.
It's weird.
It's, and it's, it looks kind of good.
But at the same time, I could see this.
being just not good at the same time, but like everything about this game.
Yeah, it's like GTA, but like with a really dark filter over it and maybe slightly
less interesting, uh, characters in it.
I don't know.
What do you guys think about Samson?
I think it looks really interesting and, but I'm also like nostalgic for it because it
reminds me of watchdogs, uh, genuinely.
Oh, that's a good point.
It does.
It reminded me a lot of watchdogs, you know, minus, uh, of course.
course the hacking and the ranged combat, it did have some melee combat and the car driving
looked very weighty, similar to watchdogs. I'm going to have to wait and see what the reviews
look like and what people are saying, but it stands out at least. I got to give it that.
It does stand out. The graphics are good. It might have a really good story. If it has a good story,
that might be enough to make me pick it up. The hair doesn't look like straw. Yeah, no, the hair
doesn't look like straw and it doesn't cost you know that's a really that's a really big selling point right
hair hair not straw it really does present itself as like a triple a title um i just don't know what to
think about this man this is 100% going to be one of those games where it's like the reviews are
going to matter like i can't think of another game where it's going to be like you're going to live and
die by the reviews that come in on this game like it takes off and people are like oh my gosh this game is
incredible. I think you're going to see it get some traction. If the reviews wind up being
70, 80 percent, I think this is this game, unfortunately, is just going to fall into obscurity
at that point. So we've made it, guys. Here we go. This is what Josh has been waiting for. We've made
it. You guys want to watch a trailer? You want to just try to watch a trailer? Let's watch a trailer,
Let's see, let's see number one if we can get this trailer to work.
And then let's see what people think about this.
Let's see you.
All right.
Y'all ready for a live trailer watch?
Here we go.
Oh, my favorite.
Yay!
Every time.
I was going to say it.
No, no, no, no.
Look, I'm clicking it.
Look, let's just, oh wait, it's a DJ.
Remix.
As always, we are not professionals.
It's literally saying it's playing replaced.
Why is it doing this?
I just want everyone to know that Josh is the producer on one of the largest podcasts in the world.
No.
Largest podcast either.
It's a different one.
I am beholden to the platform that we use to record this podcast.
And this freaking thing is saying it's literally saying now playing replaced.
And yet it wants to just go back to the intro over and over and over again.
So you figure that one out.
Let it play through and see if it does it.
You guys want to be a little bit.
Maybe we'll go through.
I don't know.
I mean, we'll watch the end.
intro one more time and then hopefully watch a trailer we'll see oh hey this isn't the intro guys guys
replace his single-handedly well it and dave the diver have turned me around on pixel art my good
no more my eyes yeah no more my eyes listen but also you've kind of set the bar because if you can't make
your pixel art look like replaced then you should just go with a different art style at that point all right
I mean, he went over the edge.
Ryan, did you ever get to play the demo?
Did I?
I did.
I loved it.
I still had to play it to play it.
I'm going to save it to a fresh play through.
You know,
that's what it was purely intentional.
What do you mean?
It was totally on purpose.
Dude, totally intentional.
I played the demo.
It sold me instantly.
This game is beautiful.
It's gritty.
The, the, like, I'm very, very hyped for replaced.
I think this game's going to be incredible.
I, a lot of it is going to come down to the story in this game.
Ace, you mentioned it, kind of an Arkham-type fighting style.
It's a very Arkham-type combat where you use combos to build up charge for your gun,
shoot people in the face with said gun, and then go into, honestly, a pretty challenging boss encounter,
which I'm excited to see that kind of progress as the game goes on.
Yeah. I love this trailer. I love the the cyberpunk kind of dark atmosphere. You see the guy kind of putting down somebody's body or something. I think this game is going to be really good. I again, give me a dark, gritty, dystopian cyberpunk type game. These incredible pixel art graphics because like the lighting that they've done, like if you played the demo, you know what we're talking about. And if you haven't played the demo, shame on you. We've been hyping this game up. But I.
think replaced is going to be something special.
Do you think it'll be a game of the year contender?
I'm hoping so because I am too.
I'm really hoping.
I mean, I drafted replaced.
So let's be,
I'm a little biased on this one.
But, you know,
this game is up there.
It comes out April 14th.
It's on PC and Xbox only.
So sorry PlayStation.
Sorry,
Nintendo Switch people.
But it is PC and Xbox.
We will be deep diving replaced.
as well.
So for people that are like, hey, you know, we want to know more about this.
We got you.
Don't worry.
Very excited to dive into that one.
Main episode, not an indie.
Yeah, yeah.
Some indie games we say, hey, this is main show, uh, caliber of a game.
And then other times we go, hey, this is like a true indie title.
That's when they're next.
I would not like possibly think to take away the opportunity to host that episode from
you, John.
Oh, well, I mean, I'm hyped.
But I'm, I'm,
try to be reserved, you know what I mean? Because again, the demo was great, but that was only like,
what, a 30 minute demo, you know, and it's hard to get a feel-free game after 30 minutes.
But what I got to play and what I got to experience was really, really good so far. So that gives me hope.
Some demos, we might talk about one a little bit later. I played the demo and I kind of went,
yeah, I don't think I like this game so much. And Ryan and I were going to disagree on that one.
Yeah. Yeah. So, all right.
We were chatting offline about this next game.
Last flag for PC, guys.
We've covered this one before.
This is the Capture the Flag game from the lead singer of Imagine Dragons.
Like, what is going on here?
What a crossover.
Worlds collide, man.
Hero shooter, capture the flag.
This looks like dumb fun.
We've talked about this game before.
Any interest in picking this game up and giving it a try, fellas.
I mean, we looked it up.
It's $15.
Is it free?
It's $15.
$15.
That's right.
Oh, that's right.
I do think that's a really dangerous decision to make,
to make a hero shooter not free to play in the current game spear we have,
because what do you have that you're offering for 15 bucks that they're not giving away for free on the other ones?
Especially when you got like Overwatch and you got rivals.
You got Overwatch got rivals.
I mean, you got some really big Titans in the industry that are free and you can go play it all day long.
And they're crisp, they're clean.
You can feel it you want.
about those games, but to charge for something like this,
we ran into it with, what was the space one that we played that you would go around?
Oh, Wildgate.
Wildgate.
Wildgate.
Oh, wild.
Oh, wild.
Yeah.
It was fun.
If it was free, I probably would have played a lot more of it, but then, you know, you had to pay 15, 20 bucks or whatever.
They definitely should have made that.
Yeah.
So, like, you know, it's, you're going to run into a lot of issues if you start charging people.
I mean, but you also avoid the issues of, you know, people hacking your games with unlimited
free accounts and $15 is not a high barrier to enter it as well, which is good.
I think $15 is a good price point to be honest.
Yeah, I think 15's not bad.
If you get tight, it'll probably start to carry for sure.
Exactly.
It was like if people actually play it and they enjoy it.
I'm kind of want to try it.
I'm going to try it.
I'm going to try it.
I'm going to try it.
I'm going to try it.
I'm going to try it.
But I think it's worth checking out.
You know, like Capture the Flags fun by by nature.
And then this game looks like it could be a good time.
I mean, Capture the Flag is the best game mode in Halo.
And like there's no like real like multiplayer games coming out this month of like of note.
So it's like.
Yeah, not really.
What better game to try to jump into and see what it's about.
All right.
We're going to try another trailer people.
We're going to give it a shot.
Oh boy.
I'm ready to see replaced again.
I've got it. It says it's on the name of the game.
It says the trailer is cued.
I don't know if that's true or not, but we're going to find out,
you better get it right.
Let's hope so, Ryan, because otherwise Mickey's coming for me.
Look at this.
Oh, there we go.
Hey, there it is.
Here it comes.
We figured it out.
Eight digits, eight shots.
Could crack a safe.
Could mark a date.
Only one way to know.
Find the numbers before they find me.
Beat it, Gumpshu.
Guess that just made my day.
That's so cool.
That's just so freaking.
cool what we can do with the 2D graphics into 3D and copying this, what is it, 1930 style.
I am very torn on this game.
I was, I was excited for it.
Then I kind of fell off on it.
I think it looks really good.
I just don't know how good the actual gameplay is going to be.
Like when you have a shooter like that, it's like, it's just, I don't know what to expect, man.
Because if it's too easy or the guns don't feel like they have impact.
or the characters don't respond to getting shot really well,
except for like a cloud of smoke,
it's going to feel not good.
You know what I mean?
But at the same time,
like,
I love the art style.
I like what they're doing.
It's gritty.
Like,
they've really leaned into this.
So I personally am kind of torn on this game.
Although I can at the same time recognize that this looks really good.
I'm just concerned about,
like,
what is the fun level of this?
Because it's,
I mean,
you're playing Doom,
right?
It's a first person shooter.
Like,
you know,
like,
what's the,
is there a story?
How good is the story?
Because if there's not, then it all comes down to the mechanics of a first-person shooter.
And if you have the mechanics of Doom, well, heck yeah.
But if you have the mechanics of like this wimpy little peepoo-poo-poo and things don't really respond,
at that point you're just playing a Mickey Mouse cartoon.
And it's like you should have just made it a cartoon at that point.
So am I like, I know Ace is super excited.
I'm very excited for this.
Ryan is our final decision.
I know Ace is super excited.
you're Josh, you kind of undecided.
I'm with you, Josh, as far as
it's almost like a wait
and see, if there's one, I mean,
what do we love so much about
playing Doom? Is the weight
of your character, the fact
that you were out there to just
destroy and you can
feel the combat, you can feel the shots, you can
feel the impact, and if they can
kind of, I mean, it's not
like we don't have examples all
over the platforms of a million
different games that do it well,
So they have examples. So if they can replicate that within this world and this atmosphere, I'm all in. I think it will be super cool. I'm absolutely hesitant and I want to see what people think of it and what they say. But if there's some weight to it and the combat or gunplay feels good and crisp and has some weight to it, then I'm down for it, man. I think it's a cool atmosphere. I think it's a cool setting. I love the 30s.
know, hey, see, you know, the atmosphere of it.
You know, it's neat.
So I'm excited to see what they do.
Yeah, I think the, for me personally, the major downside,
because I think I'd be open for trying this game,
except that Replace comes out April 14th and MousePI comes out April 16th.
So two days after the fact.
Like you won't be done.
I mean, maybe.
Yeah.
Dude, if I play that much for plays, that's a fantastic sign.
Yeah.
That it's like, okay, well, now I have time for Mouse.
PI. But yeah, this one, like I said, I can appreciate what it is. I know there's a lot of people
that are very excited for this. I'll tell you what, why don't we just give away a copy, guys?
You guys want to give away a copy of mouse PI? Who wants a copy of mouse PI? Okay, chat. Now,
let me say this. It is available on every console. So it's, it's for PC, Xbox, PlayStation
5, Nintendo Switch 2 and the regular switch. So if you would like a copy of mouse PI, we're going to
it away but you got to answer a trivia question okay and i need your help with chat on this one guys
because last time i missed i missed one and then we wound up we're watching having to uh to give me two copies
because we would never do that to somebody okay ace came up with a trivia question this one's easy
so we're going to be we're going to be looking for the first correct answer
on our gaming jeopardy episode that we did who was the final winner of gaming jeopardy
First person to get the answer wins a copy of mouse PI.
Butch said ace.
No, I was not.
Butch, unfortunately.
Oh, okay.
I see Kromer, Krober said me.
Kromer 2, 3, 4.
Everybody's Kahuna burgers, bro, T,rod.
See, some people know, some people are, Paul, Paul was the winner.
Paul was not on that episode.
We're giving it to Kramer.
Cromer.
I was the rightful winner of,
I don't know about that rifle.
I don't know.
I mean, let's be honest.
I couldn't win because I was the host.
If anyone remembers back on that episode.
That's true.
So, Cromer, hit us up in our Discord server.
Let us know what platform, and we'll make sure to get you a copy of mouse P.I.
And then you can let us know whether you like the game or not.
So safety, Jake said Paul.
Formal protest.
We'll pass that along, Jake.
We'll pass that along.
So, all right.
So there you go.
Guys, this next one, vampire crawlers, the turbo wild card from vampire survivors.
Oh, this is going to make so much money.
You have no idea.
This guy's going to just be rolling in cash.
Oh, this is going to take the market.
Like, I promise you.
You guys know I never played vampire survivors?
Really?
Really?
I know, like, everybody in the world was playing vampire survivors.
I don't really like the auto shooter type.
You don't like idle games?
I don't like idle games.
Like, what was it, Loop Hero?
I hated.
I tried that.
I hated that.
Like,
Deep Rock.
But see,
Deep Rock,
yes,
the Deep Blacks
Survivors,
I actually did enjoy.
Okay.
But also it kind of had
good graphics.
It didn't make my eyes.
Yeah.
There we go.
You know,
there's,
we're back to that part again.
Yeah,
there we go.
You love dungeon crawlers,
though.
I do love dungeon crawlers.
And you love
Rogue-like card games.
I do,
Ace.
I know.
So,
like,
I'm kind of interested in this one.
That's all.
I'm kind of interested in this.
But yeah, this game's going to make a guillian dollars
because it's got the pedigree vampire survivors.
It is a different type of game.
It is a dungeon crawler, rogue-like, card-based game,
which is right up my alley.
So I may wind up dipping my toes in this one, boys.
You could probably play it on your calculator.
I bet you could, yes.
I bet it's got a demo.
I'm seeing people say it has a demo in chat as well.
Oh, really?
It might be worth checking out the demo, man.
There you go.
See?
So maybe I'll try the demo to see if this is.
going to be like my next obsession type of game.
Oh, that is just its full name.
Vampire Crawlers, the Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors.
That's all you got to search, people.
This dude was on like a 15 hour like coding session was just cracked out on Mountain Dew.
It was like, I need a name for my game.
The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors.
That feels like you put it in a chat GPT and it's like, hey, name this for me.
Yeah.
Yeah, exactly.
But give it something edgy, but something energetic.
But I also want to capitalize on the fact that I made Vampire Survivor.
and go.
And then it was like turbo wildcard from vampire survivors.
There you go.
I'm in.
Yep, demo is still up.
And Friendship Squad Gaming says it's really good.
So it might be worth checking out, man.
Might know what I'm doing later, boys.
Oh, here we go.
Yeah.
All right.
So that comes out April 21st.
This could be the big,
look, I'm going to just segue for a second.
Everybody we know is playing Recoigne right now.
Oh, my gosh.
freaking screenshots of
recoin and people talking about
how much they'd love this game
and I just am like, you guys
lay off the drugs man
lay off the drugs a little bit
you know like can this game be this fun
and listen it probably
is I honestly it probably
is a lot of fun but this is also
coming from the guy that could not get
into Bellotro which is
like so it's like if I could get into
Balotro no I refunded it twice right
That's right.
Yeah, because it's $8 and I get on it every time he refunds $8 in an indie film.
You guys got to keep bringing that up, man.
Every time.
Call me out in front of chat and everybody.
Oh, man.
I did.
I tried so hard.
Anyway, so, okay, so all these people playing with coins.
I was like, bro.
It's like, but at the same time, I have this, like, teeny inkling of FOMBO.
You know what I mean?
Where it's like, guys, like, I want to have fun, too.
So maybe Vampire Crawlers would be the thing that takes over the Discord server at that point.
So, all right, uh, tides of, we're going to speed up just a little bit here because we still got to get to our steam reading here too.
So tides of tomorrow, we covered this once. This is a weird looking game. People, you, you follow or choose to attach yourself to somebody that has already played the game or a friend or a streamer or something like that.
And then their decisions affect the world that you inhabit and you get to kind of see.
how the decisions that previous people made played the game affect your game.
Other than that, it's like it's a water.
You're out on boats and the ocean and these big like floating cities and stuff like that.
This game looks interesting to me.
Don't know if it'll be successful.
That's on PlayStation 5 and PC.
I like a lot of the things it's done with like sort of being multiplayer without being multiplayer,
where you can see that like choices other people have made and decide whether you're going to follow that
or do your own thing to either your.
or benefit or detriment, like they show, like, what happened to one guy because he pushed a dude off of him and he fell off the pier.
Then you could choose not to do that and just be harassed by a panhandler instead.
I mean, I like that aspect of it.
I just don't know, like, what this game's actual gameplay is.
Yeah, I don't.
It was just a lot of running around.
Is it just running around?
Is it just story?
Is it a walking story simulator?
Like, it does look like there's a little bit of action, but.
I thought maybe it was like a heist thing, possibly?
I don't know. It's cozy action. Cozy action. Is that a thing? I don't know. It is now.
Yeah, all right. Ryan's just inventing. All we really want to know is who wants to make some pots.
Yeah. Killed? Is that why? Yeah. Ryan, I'm killed, man. Well, next up is Kieln. We covered this one on one of our episodes, April 23rd for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
This is the pottery sim that turns into a fighting game.
Yeah, pretty much.
Like a fighting, party game.
It's a party game.
Yeah.
But it's like one of those fighting party games.
Yeah.
So Killen looks very interesting.
We always talk about, hey, where's the uniqueness?
Well, there you go.
Killing is quite unique.
I don't think I'll pick this up at all.
I don't think I'm going to have time for it.
You guys want to be pawheads with me?
Oh, okay.
Okay, just say no.
You know, that's the world I grew up in at least.
Just say no to Killen.
We have a trailer for this next one, don't we?
Oh, we do, Ace.
How about that?
Look at Ace with a little bit of foreshadowing here,
and that foreshadowing is definitely this trailer getting screwed up.
This might be the big release for the month
or one of the big releases if we're not talking about indie games.
Outside of Indies, I would say this is the big release for April.
Yeah, I would agree.
I would agree with that.
So let's see if this will actually apply for people here,
or if it's going to go back to Mouse P.I.
And again, I have it.
I wouldn't mind watching that one again.
That was a good track.
I bet you would.
So we'll see what it does here, boys.
I'm not biased at all.
All right.
Let's see if this trailer works, people.
And then we're going to talk about the demo in this one.
It's amazing, amazed.
You're just going to stay here when this is all done?
What do you want?
That has a funny looking hell.
I'm not sure.
I want to go to Earth.
Hell is going on here.
And why are these things trying to kill us?
I was preparing to depart for Earth.
The moon quake struck, damaging Edus.
Enacting attack protocol, permission to commit acts of controlled violence.
Granted, you gotta be kidding me.
I'm calling it.
You'd make a lousy friend.
Shut Ediths down, and then we'll head to Earth.
If you're ready.
So does Prajbana mean anything, or is that just the name of it?
I'm just going to say something really annoying.
Cabin.
your one-stop companion for all things shelter.
Well, you've killed all my interest in this game, Cabin.
What?
Good job.
Dump the release date.
That never happens, unless you're Capcom.
Unless you're good.
There you go.
How did Capcom work on this and Resident Evil at the same time?
They're a big, they're a big studio.
Yeah, a really big studio.
Oh, look, a deluxe edition where you can pay more for cosmetics, guys.
Are those extra costumes?
Okay, that one's sick.
Hold up.
The machine.
Okay, that one is pretty soon.
That was all right.
That was pretty good.
All right.
Pragata.
Well, go ahead.
Go ahead.
Get it out.
Both of you get it out.
Look.
Well, I don't say both of us now.
You know, I, this game, I said from the beginning, I didn't think it really looked very interesting to me.
I said, I think the kid's annoying.
And then I'm going to give Brett his dues because Brett was like, bro, you should play the demo.
He's very excited for this game.
We trust people.
I said, okay, I'm going to try the demo.
I play the demo.
The girls really annoyed.
So, yeah, this is just one for me, the demo.
There's a couple things that didn't work.
I can appreciate, like, this game visually is stunning.
The presentation is top-notch.
It's Capcom.
You know it's going to be a good quality game.
I just personally, they do this thing where in mid-combat,
you have to hack the enemies,
which involves, like, pushing a button,
pulling up this hacking thing,
and then drawing a line through, like,
little grid to try to hit little nodes so that you can then hack the enemy so that you can then
do damage to them it was all just very disjointed to me and then i may i mean this is i'm just going to
sound like an old grouchy man here people but it was like you know this girl oh dust
demo it was the demo dude we can go over there it looks like there's a switch on the wall and like
bro within like 10 minutes i'm like oh my god the true horror of this
game is this kid's voice. And if I have to play a 30-hour game listening to this kid,
I'm going to lose it.
Chad's asking if you were the voice actor.
I could be for the right price because, listen, I just annoyed myself right there.
Okay. Like that was really hideous and I'm kind of ashamed.
And that was on standard, not even the casual mode.
Yeah.
Like it was.
That was on standard.
I really despise the overly blatant handholding, the don't stand in a red circle.
look at that switch on the wall over there.
Like, we are not idiots.
It's a pet peeve of mine.
I think there's a great game here.
Ryan, you play the demo.
You stream the demo and you really liked it.
So you say that, though, God of War is your favorite game ever.
Yeah.
Yeah, look for yellow paint and you know where to go.
Like, everywhere you look.
I mean, you don't need a voice.
You don't need the voice.
Like, it's all there.
You don't need the paint, but it's there.
So you can't just because it's a voice that you find an annoying.
I personally, I, I, I, I,
really, I'm a big Kojima fan.
I got super like Kojima vibes from this, you know,
Death Stranding or, you know, Merger's Solid.
Like, it's just, it's a, it's a graphically pleasing game.
It looks beautiful.
Um, the gunplay I liked.
I liked the ability to hack in between.
I thought it added something unique and different.
We always talk about what to, what do you, what are you chatting?
I know what you're up to put it up on hell of it's coming.
Yeah.
Yeah. Whatever.
It's, we always talk about,
in unique gameplay and something different and like having it hacked characters in the moment or
enemies in the moment to up your damage and then you can use perks based on that like as you play
through like I think it's cool I think it's unique I like it I enjoyed that part of it it didn't
feel like it slowed the game down or made it clunky for me I I like it and I'm absolutely
going to be checking it out I know you guys aren't very high on it but it it was a winner for me
I liked it a lot.
If when it comes out, I see it get pretty high marks for the combat, not just the story.
I might pick it up, but right now it looks like the combat could get very repetitive.
The midgame hacking in the middle of combat could get very repetitive.
Mind you, I'm the only one of us who hasn't had time to sit down and play this demo yet,
but I also wanted to have sort of a middle ground perspective where you've played it,
liked it, Josh played it, didn't like it.
So, you know, I could go either way with this game.
Why did you like me?
You know, I'm a man of who likes people my age.
Let's just say that.
Also, what's with the freaking oversized jacket?
Wait, this is taking place in year 2150 and you can't have clothes the fit?
Who cares?
It's a robot, dude.
That's a Japanese game design thing, I think.
A poofy jacket?
Yeah.
They love that stuff.
Oh, no, Darkson.
I'm sure it's going to be great because Capcom made it.
I just need to know the combat evolves.
I mean, like I said, it presents very, very,
very well. Everything about it screams.
It's going to be good.
You guys are nerds.
I'm just a grouchy old man that I got really annoyed by the girl's voice.
I don't know.
I play persona 5 for like 100 hours and you get used to Morgana's voice.
That's fair.
So.
All right.
And then we're going to get through these fairly quick because we still got to do our Steam
and then we got a giveaway another copy.
We got two games to give away here.
So let's let's burn through the other ones here.
We've got Aphelion, a PC Xbox, PlayStation 5 coming April 28.
This is the Ice Planet story-based game.
This game looks really cool to me.
You know, sci-fi to its core.
You and another person are investigating this mystery.
It looks really good.
I've seen people talk about it.
I won't play it, but it's just not necessarily my style of game either.
Ryan, here you go, Ryan.
Diablo 4, Lord of Hatred.
the Paladin class in what is it it's not the necromancer it's the there's what's the
what's the other class that they're introducing I thought it was just Paladin wasn't it no it's Paladin
and there's one other one too I'm not sure for oh Warlock I'm not sure for before is it Warlock it's
Warlock they're putting they're putting that in thank you chat okay yeah yeah we appreciate you
know I know it's in D2R I mean honestly like I I I played a lot of Diablo four I I had a good time I
think it's some of the best cinematics we've ever had in gaming.
Josh, you and I played together and our friend Andy, like, skipped it.
And he was just waiting for us.
Like, what are you guys doing?
And we're like, we're watching this epic, epic cinematic, you know.
But I just, if I'm going to play Diablo, I'm just going to go back to D2R.
You're so old school.
I am, dude.
I just want to play a 25-year-old game.
You know, what do you get me gruff for?
Come on.
Yeah, because you're old.
All right, this next one, I think this game looks neat.
This is another kind of slower pace tells the story.
It's Will Follow the Light.
We saw a trailer for this a long time ago with a guy on a sailboat.
This is a very atmospheric story-based.
I almost want to say like walking simulator, but you do some sailing and stuff too.
Yeah.
I think there's probably a neat story here, but this one I started off interested in.
And then the more trailers I've watched, I've kind of fallen off a little bit on this one.
It started to confuse me near the end when all it was was a kid screaming.
and walking.
I was like, okay, we're a lighthouse keeper.
This is like one of my,
it was at one point one of my dreams,
and now it's like a number one fear
after watching the lighthouse.
Yeah, very atmospheric.
Like, I think there's something really neat
to be presented here.
I just don't know what to expect from this game.
So, wait, wait, wait, Ace,
you wanted to be a lighthouse keeper?
Oh, yeah, dude.
If I never gotten married,
I would love to just move out somewhere
and become a lighthouse keeper.
No.
Why not?
Why on earth would you want to live on the,
You talk about an industry that's booming right now.
I mean, do you know how many new lighthouses are being built?
Oh, there's plenty.
There's plenty of lighthouses.
You get free housing, you know.
Hey, think of all the stairs.
Do you know how many?
I would be toned.
You would have to run down to go get your door dash.
You don't get doordash in a lighthouse keeper.
How are you going to survive then?
You hunt your food.
Oh, you hunt it.
Yeah, you fish.
See, I don't like fish.
So, you don't like fish.
Okay.
I like sushi.
I don't like cooked fish.
Hey, Jake's got it.
Crocus.
Yeah.
Crocus is who I was 100% thinking of.
Yeah.
All right.
And then we've got, now this is a big one for fans of fighting games.
Invincible versus this game looks fantastic.
This game looks insane.
It looks just like the TV show.
I'm a man who does not get queasy from Gore.
And I saw a scene from the new season of Invincible that made me queasy.
Yeah.
Invincible does gore.
And he was like, bro, this new season is something.
And then I was like, uh, oh, okay.
Yeah.
So, but the fighting game looks fantastic.
Uh, really does look good.
That comes out April 30th.
And then we've got one final trailer for you, people.
One more trailer.
This game I am very excited for personally.
It might wind up having to borrow a PS5 because I don't know that either of you guys are super
into this game or not.
You're not getting mine, brother.
Yeah, are you going to play this one?
Yeah.
You're going to play this one, Ryan?
Yeah, dude.
You can have mine, but you're going to see why.
Right here, you're going to see why.
What is that for you, Arjun?
Finishing the mission.
Why do you look at the camera?
Keeping people safe.
Oh, right, John.
Tell you why, we're going full screen on this one.
I know you guys.
Oh, hi, Ryan.
What the?
Hey, everyone.
I'm Gregory Loudon, creative director at Housebock.
Today we're excited to show off our comeback stronger features and eclipse gameplay running on PlayStation 5.
In Saros you step into the shoes of Arjun Devraj, performed by the brilliant Rahul Kali,
who is discovering the hostile shape-shifting planet of Karkosa.
As you encounter a variety of ever more brutal hostiles, death is inevitable.
But in Saros, death only means that you will come back stronger.
Welcome to the passage.
to the passage. You are not on your own. Interacting with the survivors of Echelon 4 will help you
understand the mysteries of Carcosa. I can't believe so many are gone. They didn't all die.
Some of them changed. This is primary, the voice of Soltari. Here you can engage with our
permanent progression systems to upgrade your armor's attributes and acquire special perks.
With Carcosin modifiers, you can adjust your experience by, for example, making hostiles
tougher, weaker, or even removing the second chance ability entirely.
However, all adjustments you choose must be kept in balance to ensure a consistent challenge level.
Primary also allows you to teleport directly to any biome that you have unlocked.
This means getting back into the action quicker.
It also means easier replayability the further you get into the world.
Using the teleport, you can now quickly restart the selected biome and get back to where you were.
And now it's time to take another shot at what killed you the first time around.
Eventually, you come across an alien device.
By using it, you discover that it calls the eclipse.
The eclipse corrupts the world.
It's a complete escalation of our gameplay, our audio, and our visuals on Carcoso.
Hostiles now shoot corrupts.
projected projectiles which reduce your maximum armor integrity, but you can restore it by using your power weapon.
Weapons and artifacts also become corrupted, which alters them in both positive and negative ways, which ramps up the challenge.
We can't wait for you to play Saros when we launch on April 30, 2026.
Yeah, Saros looks insane.
I am so disappointed.
I'm like, did Josh, remember like two years ago when I told you to buy a PlayStation?
Yeah.
really expensive PlayStation that's like $700 now, Ryan?
Remember how it's like more money now?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Remember how you could have gotten it for way cheaper?
I can borrow his, Ryan.
Oh, that's true.
I think Saros looks incredible.
This is very much the spiritual successor to Returnal.
I really enjoyed Returnal.
I will say I had some issues with Returnal
with just kind of the repetitiveness
and that you have to keep playing the same first level over and over again
before you can get past that boss.
And I had a few complaints with it that ultimately put me off.
off on that, but I think Saros looks absolutely phenomenal.
The action is like, this is the chaos and speed that I absolutely adore.
I cannot wait for this game.
I'll figure out a way to play it, but that comes out April 30th and looks freaking fantastic to me.
If that game's anything like Returnal, it's also going to be tough as nails.
Yeah, it looks like it's hard.
But they've added the shield, and that's what I'm saying about the modifiers that they were talking about,
where they were like, you can kind of customize the game.
You can't make it too easy because you have to balance it,
which I thought is actually a really, really neat kind of way to go about,
like letting us as gamers kind of choose how the game plays a little bit.
I don't know.
I'll be curious to see how that works out.
And that's it, everybody.
That is your April releases.
All right, guys, one game out of all of them that we picked,
pick the one game that you are most excited for.
I'm still really excited for Mouse P.I.
I've been waiting for it.
answer. I've been waiting for it for so long. I saw it come up from bare bones, like barely a
background, just drawings. I have to see this game. We figured out a couple things about you.
Oh, here we go. You love rats. You love rats. Okay, so this has a rat as the main character,
and you love black and white game. So mouse PI is basically like Ace's perfect dream game.
Perfect dream game. Yeah. So, all right, what about you, Ryan? Which one are you most excited for?
I'm for sure pragmatta
I'm honestly
I know you guys aren't as high on it
but I'm stoked
I'm really excited to see the depth of what this game is
and how much there is to play
and kind of what you get out of it all
the graphics are great you know what's there
so as long as the combat kind of accelerates
a little bit from what the demo was
I think it'll be good all right
Well, we all know what chairs is.
Mine's replaced hands down, boys.
Also the first one to release, so eat it suckers.
We'll all be playing replaced, honestly.
So I'll tell you what, why don't we give away a copy of replaced, boys?
So we gave a copy of Mousy I and Gromer.
Let's give away a copy of Replaced chat.
Those of us, the chat still with us, man.
Those are you still with us.
Have you made it to the end.
For a copy of replaced.
You have to answer this.
trivia question and we're going by the first person that posts the correct answer in chat.
Who was the first guest host to ever appear on the podcast?
Oh, that's a very good question.
You have had to have been with us for a while to know it.
You'd have to be a long time ago.
Who was the first guest host to ever appear on the podcast?
Does the game that you guys covered for this even existing?
I could.
I will give.
I will give a hint if nobody in chat gets it.
It's not Michael.
It's not Michael.
It's not Michael.
He was never a guest host.
Well,
everybody was a guest host.
Well,
everyone's a guest host for a bit.
We mean actual guests.
Like one time on the show.
One time.
That was it.
You know.
Todd's a good guest,
but no,
not Todd.
Todd was an actual host.
People are wondering.
All right,
should I give a hint?
Chat seems rather stumped on this one.
You guys stuck?
You need some help?
Dom?
No,
not Dom.
The doctor guy.
Oh, no, that was the...
Oh, Steve got it.
Steve got it.
Steve got it.
All right.
Styl and Steve, he got it.
Andy.
It was the Outriders episode.
Yep.
Paul and I and Andy played the heck out of Outriders.
That game was fantastic, dude.
I freaking love Outwriters so much.
Steve.
Nice job, Steve.
So Andy was Andy Holloway from the Fantasy Footballers.
He was the guest host, also my brother-in-law on that episode.
So Steve, you win a copy of replaced, buddy.
And then I'll tell you what.
Nice.
We've got one more game to give away, everybody.
We have, now this is isolated to PC, all right?
But we have a copy of death stranding to the digital deluxe edition to give away.
This was courtesy of Dr. Joe Nasty, who donated this to the, to this episode.
So here is the question to win the Steam key
And this has you have to be able to play this on Steam.
So don't answer unless you want to win a Steam key.
Who was the first developer interview of the video gamers podcast?
So who was the first developer that we interviewed as this podcast?
Let's see who can get the right answer.
And this is for the Steam key for Death Stranding 2.
Developer, not game by the way.
what's that ace developer not game that they yeah developer not the game
it wasn't bungee this is when we were doing a lot of interviews a lot of interviews we ran
through a bunch it was it's not devon devon santi the sleepy man guy i love it super cool by
some of the think about we i'll give a hint we got a really really cool look at how a game is
developed and how a two ace is mom that's the road
answer. That's the right answer. Come on.
Yes. That's right.
This is mom, Ben Bunker.
Oh, man. That's so good.
I'm just getting annihilated in this comment section, by that.
I don't know if you guys saw earlier, but they're freaking ringing me out to dry.
Shut up right.
Ringing me out to dry over the pizza boxes I have hanging on my wall.
That's true.
The tails of iron devs.
Are we going to accept that, boys?
Can we take that?
I think we can take it.
Who are they?
Who are they?
Come on, Jiggle.
That is the right.
Who are they?
Yeah.
Who were they?
Who were the, who are the guys of Tails of Iron?
Furiously Googling.
Who made you know.
Everyone, Google, Google quickly.
Everyone, you're an opening.
We aren't accepting it, Jiggle.
You got to give us that name.
First to get it.
I have a backlog a mile high.
Yeah, Jiggle's like, I don't need this game.
I'm bugging.
Hey, the Willin master.
Oh, that, homie. It is oddbuck studios.
Lee Master. Nice.
All right.
Willie. Hit us up in Discord.
We'll get you your Steam key for death stranding, too.
That game looks fantastic.
I've heard really good things about it.
All right.
We've been here a long time, but a promise is a promise chat.
We're going to leave you with some just pure stupidity because what is an episode of this podcast?
Why do we always do this to ourselves?
Okay.
We each have a Steam review.
It's a funny Steam review.
We didn't write these.
So if they're a little edgy, that's not on us.
We just found them funny.
Um, but you get to pick, okay, anime voice. Uh, well, why don't we start with Ace on this one? Okay. So you get to choose for Ace to read his review. You can choose the anime voice, the discord mod voice, the Miss Doubtfire voice or the overly dramatic movie trailer voice. Chat, we're going to go with whichever one we see the most of. So what style do you want Ace to read this steam review in?
let's see it come on give something good i see a ho that's a vote for missed outfire that's missed
outfire that's okay we've got kromer saying please make ace hit that u-woo

Yeah, we got like six or seven anime already.
All right.
I'm just going to go for that old slice of life, like anime style voice.
There is no Ace's mom voice.
Thank you very much.
My mom.
That's what you think.
Yeah.
Shut up, bro.
All right, Ace.
In your best anime voice.
Go ahead.
Well, first, apparently everyone wants a quick woo.
So, ooh-woo.
I hope that made you.
all cringe and die inside. It made me cringe.
Yeah, I hope it did.
This community is so nice and helpful.
I got a lot of tips on how to
uninstall the game and kill myself.
Also, I didn't write that review.
Yeah, no.
Surprisingly, not a review from Josh.
Can anyone, I want, can any of you
guess where that review might have come from?
Like, I guess League of Legends
and I was wrong.
How many
how many minutes of gameplay is on that review?
A thousand
A thousand six hundred hours
Crazy part
Yeah
There's sixteen hundred hours
Tell them what the game
This is a review from a hit game

That's not my fault, guys.
Okay.
All right.
I'll tell you what, I'll go next and then we'll let Ryan bring things home for us.
Okay, so I have my review.
We need to know what voice or style you want me to read this in.
Anime, missed out fire, Discord mod, or overly dramatic movie guy chat.
Which one do you want to see?
I feel like we should have eliminated one after I did it.
I might outdo you, Ace.
I do it.
I mean, I can do a pretty...
Oh, you two with the anime voice is gross.
Oh, we've heard it on stream.
Dalfire, Discord mine.
Rigo!
Okay, we've got, okay, we've got three for Dout, four for Doutfire.
Dau fire for Discord.
Yeah, Delfire's the winner.
Yeah, Delfire for this one.
This is going to be tough, man.
Okay.
Okay.
Remember, you're a lady.
Oh, dearies, it's an incredible experience.
It's breathtakingly beautiful.
Everything you've heard about Expedition 33 is true.
The gameplay and story is fantastic breath of fresh air
in a market that's filled with horrible quadruple plus games
that promised the world but never deliver.
The story had me crying like a bohemian revolutionary
with nicotine dependency
who just found out his favorite croissant factory
has been closed due to consistent strikes.
If that's the feeling you're not,
looking for, you should purchase it immediately.
Er, okay, then why the negative review?
Unfortunately, Expedition 33 portrays the French as charismatic and likable people.
That's too much fiction from my taste.
Thank you.
Thank you.
So, dear French.
Thank you.
What do you mean?
We don't know.
Thank you, Robin Wood.
It was basically spot on.
You're right, people.
you're right
thank you
Josh was possessed by the spirit
of Robert Williams there for a second
All right dear
You don't know
Last one chat
Okay you got to Ryan
I mean it's Discord mod
And overly dramatic movie guy
But they can pick anime or missed outfire
If you want
If you want to read
Bring us home
End this episode chat
What do we got for Ryan?
I don't remember what review Ryan picked
On this one
Oh he got dramatic
You were getting a couple for overly dramatic movie guy, Ryan.
I see a few movie guys.
Oh, that's it.
Yeah, that's it.
Close it.
Do I have freedom on a little bit of like, can I, can I?
Go ahead and do some setup.
You have a short review here.
A little bit of extra to it.
Yeah, yeah, go ahead and do some setup.
You have a pretty short review.
All right.
So this is, yeah, this is a little bit short review.
So this one's for the game, Doom Eternal.

Guys, we love doing this show. We love the community we have. The fact that we have so many people in chat hanging out with us right now is awesome. You all rock. You're the reason that we love doing this show so much. So thank you for coming to hang out with us. Thank you to Darkside for donating the Death Stranding 2. Shout out to Mr. McSweddy who also donated a game. Ace, don't ever do that again.
I would kind of just show love without trouble. Yeah. And then, you know, and then we're giving away a game too, people. So but, you know, we don't.
You know, thanks to everybody else.
Oh, and Dr. Joe Nasty for being proxy to Darkside's game gifting there and waiting until the very end of the episode to set it straight.
He took the glory.
Yeah, he took a lot of the, you know, he took a lot of the glory up front and then it was like, okay, guys, it was Darkside.
It was Darkside.
He was the one who gave away the game.
Yeah.
So that's going to do it for this episode, everybody.
Let me see if I can get this outro going.
Hold on real quick.
If you're here listening now, still watch.
still watch tomorrow.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Still watch this tomorrow.
If you saw this today live,
please listen again.
Yeah.
All right.
Do the finger heart thing.
Lucy says do it.
Do it.
I know.
I will never do the finger heart thing.
That's it.
We're out of here, people.
Let's see you.
I can't play this outro fast enough here.
Yay.
Bye everybody.
Bye, everyone.
We love you.
Thank you.
Peace out.
