Boy, is it a stacked month of games?
Oh, wait, what?
Nope.
Nope, sorry, that's the intro for October.
No game November is here, but don't worry.
We've actually got some games and news for you,
plus a fun game I've cooked up for my co-hosts here.
But first, some introductions are in order.
I am your host, Josh, and joining me,
he went to an Ark Raiders intervention,
but they sent him home because he kept asking,
when he could extract
it's right
yeah you all got any
that arc raters
I just need a little bit just a little bit
just a little bit our graders give me one
one extract baby come on one extract
dude the visual of
Ryan being at an intervention and then
just being like you know people like are you ready
to accept this gift that we're giving you
Ryan will you please stop playing
arc raiders and him just being like look can I
can I extract out of here people
can I extract like can I can I go
Is this extract shutting down soon?
What's the timer on this one?
Like, I got to go.
I got to go.
Oh, man.
And joining us, the man who went two whole weeks without internet, and it nearly killed him.
It's ace.
Remains to be seen.
He's barely alive.
I don't know when we want to get into it.
But man, have I been through the ringer with Wi-Fi lately?
What's it like living in the store?
Don't age, Ace?
Boring.
Do you, like, do you do weird things, like, read and stuff now?
Like, what happens?
I get to sit at my dinner table and watch my spouse crochet.
That's what I get to do.
Oh, my goodness.
Oh, Ace, do you need, like, do we need to, like, start a go fund me for you or something, man?
Like, please help Ace move to a, to a first world country.
Like, what's going on here, man?
Hashtag get Ace internet.
I just need to hire someone to come kick the butt of my ISP.
Oh, man.
So for people that may have missed a couple of the recent episodes where Ace has suddenly dropped out and got replaced by a rat, you know, we have figured out that Ace's Internet is the worst thing in the world.
His modem was dying.
The weird thing is at the exact same time every night.
So 8 p.m. Ace's time.
His Internet just croaks.
It just kicks the bucket.
and his internet service provider has been completely unhelpful until finally after hours on the phone what did they tell you ace like oh they told me there is a problem yeah there's a problem on their end it's like oh yeah we noticed you're getting drops around this time at night make sure it's not you know the loose cords on your modem or you know your router it was like okay well i've tried all the PCs in the house while being on the phone with you it's not me it's like yeah that's weird uh uh
We'll send someone to come look at it.
I was like, look at what?
I just told you.
There's nothing.
They have to have their people there, dude.
Did you find out that all your neighbors are having issues too?
Yes, they said everyone in my area is having these drops, but nobody's called it.
It's hard to petition, dude.
That's weird.
Go around, go around knocking on doors, baby.
Come on.
It's driving me insane because, like, I'll be doing something in the middle, like, you know, just before it hits eight,
I will be doing something.
755 comes around and I see the signal lost appear on my PC.
Oh, no.
And then it comes back and there's nothing.
I have no download speed.
I have no ping.
I have no upload speed.
It is a nightmare.
Have you been affected by the internet dropouts?
Sign here.
Yeah.
And then you just, bam.
I'm going to call them out.
Chantal, you suck.
You can't stream.
So you can't watch TV.
You can't game.
No.
You have cell, I mean, thank goodness for a cell data, right?
Because that's the only thing that's keeping Ace connected to the world.
Ace, I mean, I don't even know if he's played a video game in the last two weeks.
If it isn't downloaded, it's not been played.
I'll tell you that.
And, yeah, if I didn't have cell data, I wouldn't be able to keep in contact with YouTube posts
after 8 o'clock.
Oh, no.
This is why physical media is important people, you know.
Yeah.
Don't work.
Let me clue you in on what's going on in life, Ace.
Ryan and I are playing Arc Raiders.
Oh, yeah, no, I can guess at this point.
And Ryan and I are playing Arc Raiders.
That's about it.
I'll send a message.
It'll go unread for eight hours.
Oh, man.
Well, hopefully you get it fixed soon, Ace.
The funny part is that we have actually adjusted our recording schedule
so that we can record before Ace's internet poops out on them.
So that's, you know, Ryan, don't what I think about it.
Man, we're really good friends.
We're good, dude.
It has nothing to do with giving us more time.
to play arc raiders at all like i'll tell you that much but you said three at all but you said
three but listen he's not letting ryan live that one down dang it we're here for you ace we're
doing this for you oh yeah you guys are here for me and my terrible internet oh my back is just like
from bending over backwards i got to ask though how nice is it to actually be able to see me
i i can't i will say the fact that you're not a garbled blur is uh is definitely helpful uh
interacting and doing this podcast, too.
Do you think he bought it, Josh?
Do you think he bought what he said?
Yeah.
I don't know.
I mean, oh, crap, he's still here.
Oh, yeah.
I've not garbled out this time.
All right, guys, listen, we got a lot to talk about, man.
We have been so busy with, you know, talking about some games.
We've been doing deep dives.
We had the interview with Yacht Club games.
We are actually working on some other interviews, too.
so stay tuned for those we know you guys like them we like interviewing uh people uh and studios and stuff
like that so we're going to try to kind of start looping a few of those in we don't want to overdo it
but uh you know that one was was a lot of fun so some more of those in the future there but you know
guys it's been a minute we're we're in a brand new month now um so let's talk about it i joked around
i called it no game november i mean goodness gracious what a barren wasteland now
Our Call of Duty bros are screaming right now at their, at their, you know, their phones or their
stereos or whatever.
And they're going like, what are you talking about, man?
We're getting Blackop seven.
How could you say it's no game November, bro?
You know, okay?
Are you choking?
Are you choking, right?
Oh, boy, another shooter.
You know, it's, dude, the shooter genre, you talk about, is there a genre that's more flooded
than the shooter genre.
Oh, I don't believe so.
I believe the shooter genre is the most oversaturated.
All the Battlefield 6 hype, all the Arc Raiders hype,
Call of Duty Black Op 7?
Like, is this call of duty that winds up like flopping and causing them to go,
we might need to rethink this, boys?
I have my doubts.
Because you've got all these Twitch streamers trying to play Battlefield right now, right?
All of them are just, they're the Call of Duty guys.
They all came from Call of Duty to try to play the new battlefield because it's the new hotness.
Unfortunately.
All of them are going to swap back over to Cod.
Every single one of them is going to go back to Cod and then all their viewers and things like that are going to go back to Cod.
And it's just going to be an influx.
I don't think Call of Duty will ever go away.
I mean, you know, we know people love it.
And honestly, like I said, Call of Duty is an amazing franchise.
I think if you like Call of Duty, you absolutely love it.
He could be.
He's almost like, it's an amazing.
It's right. I clip that, chat.
Yeah, clip that.
I'm trying to be nice here, man.
You know?
We thought, oh, my goodness.
He was puked on the spy.
Oh, his body rejected the idea.
The thing is, I thought I could get it out, man.
It's not the game.
We played the last call of duty, and it was, it was okay, man.
The campaign was actually decent.
It was, it was enjoyable.
It was fun.
The online play was good.
It's the people, man.
it's the people
dude it is it is the
the people the streamers
you are the problem
that is why
the games are what they are
that is why people don't like
them is because of you
yeah oh wow
I feel like Ryan was pointing right at me
I know right if that's you
if you feel like I was
I was telling you then maybe you're the problem
but I'm just saying
that's the issue
I will say when I'm playing battlefield
field and I see some dude like bunny hop and sliding like 360 slide jumping and all that stuff.
And then runs past you when you're down.
It's like an instantaneous like, well, there's one of my Call of Duty brethren right there.
Here's my thing with Call of Duty.
Number one, they all feel the same to me.
And again, I am not a huge Call of Duty player.
I've only played a few of them.
I think that the gun playing Call of Duty is second to none.
Like I get why people love it.
I'm not trying we're not trying to like we joke but we're not trying to like you know slain or
anybody for their love of call of duty over battlefield and stuff like that I hope and we said
this before that the success of battlefield the success of arc raiders makes call of duty better for
people I just know that a lot of people aren't super hype for black op seven the studio knows that
they're pulling back on the crazy skins and all that we've covered all that stuff before so
we don't really need to get too far into that that's probably the big big game
release this month. However, to all of our console brothers and sisters out there, there is a game
that is releasing on console that you have not been able to play yet, and you need to play
this game. And that is a game called Satisfactory. Oh, okay? Satisfactory. Look at the faces,
Aeson Ryan. I didn't know that was coming to console. I didn't know it was coming out for
console either. I had no idea. You're dropping bombs on us, brother. It's a good thing one of us does
our homework.
I haven't pulled up right here.
Arct Raiders.
No, I haven't pulled up right here.
It's not even on my list.
That's wild, dude.
Go ahead.
That's crazy.
Sorry, go ahead.
So the people can thank me for, you know, doing my homework.
But Satisfactory is releasing for the PS5 and the Xbox series X and S or whatever it is.
Guys, play Satisfactory.
Honestly, this is one of the best games out there.
Like, everybody that likes Satisfactory loves Satisfactory.
it is a crafting progression slash survive it falls into the survival category but there's really not a lot of survival elements in it
but man satisfactory is second to none for what it does i we have cracked out on this game it is extremely
addictive trust me when i say don't let this get lost in the shuffle satisfactories coming to consoles
play it yeah absolutely play it don't miss that not regret it yeah yeah that's it's a solid one
Go ahead, Ace.
Is it early access or full release?
No, full release.
Full release.
Yeah, it's been an early access for like 800 years.
Well, it did full release on PC, you know, and I get that there's probably a lot.
With the way that you build your factories and things have to snap into place and all that stuff, like, I just trust us.
Satisfactory, absolutely incredible game.
That's good.
I mean, incredible.
So it's coming to console.
Nice.
Awesome.
Um, guys, I know, listen, I know a lot of people laugh when I'm going to bring this up, but these
games are way more fun than they have any right to be. And that is the SpongeBob games.
Yeah. I was forced. I was forced into playing SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom by Jwath,
a long time listener of the show. I had no idea how much I was going to love this game. They're
the perfect throwback to the old 3D platformers. Oh my goodness. They're so much fun. Uh, I can't
remember what it was the came after bikini bottom there was another one but now we're getting
Titans of the Tide it's going to be a blast don't let SpongeBob it's not a kid's game
you know don't let the title throw you off these are tons of fun 3D platformers that comes out
November 18th all systems too what's that all systems too everything all systems yeah nice dude
yep all right a someone let you talk about this next one because this is an indie game that you
brought to our attention.
He's all like, he's looking all swaggery now.
He's like, hey, here we go.
He said the magic word.
Here we go.
I am actually very excited for this game as well,
so tell people what the game is.
A highly anticipated game,
which has a painterly art style
and touts itself as
Hollow Night Meet Celeste known as
Constance is coming out
on November 24th, boys.
I am so hyped for this game.
This is going to fill the void silk song
left for me. Yeah. And man, what a void that was. I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what.
Give me, you know, give me the difficulty in the platforming of Celeste and give me kind of that art
style of hollow night slash silk song. You've got a winner on your hands, hands down. I don't
see a way where this game fails. It looks incredible. The platforming looks absolutely incredible.
you know it is an indie title but man
we've talked about it a few times now it comes out later this month
check out the trailer for Constance
my goodness this game looks fun
and I fully plan on picking this one up
and it's going to be on PC PS5 Nintendo Switch
and not Xbox
Oh no and Xbox yeah and Xbox which is incredible for an indie game
to have a launch on all these consoles
Good for them man good for them to get something out that
that kind of wide of a net to capture all these people.
I think the biggest thing with a lot of indie games is that they mainly reside on
like Steam and they don't get a lot of play on on consoles and stuff like that.
So a lot of people miss out on some really quality games.
This thing looks awesome.
The world looks beautiful.
There's a lot of depth to it.
The gameplay looks crisp and clean.
I'm very excited for this one.
So I'm definitely, we're going to check it out for sure.
and I do have a small correction
it is coming to PC November 24th
but PS5 Xbox and Switch is
later 2026 they said
so they had to push it back
they had to push it back recently
I just looked it up sorry console people
but you're still getting hey you're gonna have you're still getting
playing satisfactory PC Master Race
right
Ryan's just being ornery today
you are and you're starting flights left and right
PC Master Race
he's been holding it in for so long now
I've been playing too much
Too much R-Grady's.
He's like, I'm just going to
Rode everybody.
Who is it?
Everybody's an enemy.
Oh, man.
All right, guys, a game that we mentioned a very long time ago
even got picked for some of our game of the year
in the draft, a game called Where Wins Meet
is finally releasing in the, in the U.S., in Europe.
up. This is a, how do you say it, Wush, Wushu, Wushu game, where it's like, you know, you're the
martial arts legends of fantasy and mythology and things like that. WU-U-U-X-I-A, W-Hu-Hsha.
Yeah, dude, yeah.
I thought you heard of this ace. You got it.
Come on, you got it. I don't know that.
Anyway, it looks incredible. You know, I will be honest, this game's kind of fallen off my radar.
This is the type of game where you could lose your.
in this for hundreds of hours. It is not a gotcha game, although it has been kind of equated
to Genshin. Um, incredible combat, lots of different characters, weapon styles, that kind
of thing. Beautiful looking game. Looks so good. It looks massive. It looks incredible. I will say.
It really does, dude. Like, this one is worth your attention. If this sounds like it's up your
alley, I just don't know if I have the time to put into a game like this. I also think it's
going to be free to play. That's insane to give away a game that looks.
that good. So we're putting it on your radar. Look it up. Where wins me? It looks absolutely top
notch. Does that, does that scare you guys when you, when you hear a free to play? No, no, free to get,
free to play. No. No. There's plenty of good free to play games. To me, I always, I don't know.
When I hear free to play, I'm always like, I get what you're saying, dude. Yeah. Because you all,
you kind of think like, how are they going to monetize this and are they going to, is it a gotcha game at that
point? How are they going to make their money?
free to play. Sometimes free to play means that we know that this game is so good that we don't
have to charge you for it, dude. Yeah. Like legitimately. Like everybody's going to play it. So the game's so
good that we'll just take the masses playing it to make our money for us instead. So and where wins me
might be it. This game has been out in China for like the past year or two now. Uh, okay. And so this is
not a new release. This is a fully polished has been out in China for a while and is now coming to the US and
Europe. So I think this thing's going to be pretty darn impressive.
So I will say, uh, since it's published by Nettys, I, I already know what kind of practices
they're going to do to monetize it. Oh, I'm sure. And they're going to make a
bigillion dollars off of it too. But honestly, it looks, I mean, it looks really. I want the
poo bear skin. The poo bear skin. Yeah. All right. Well, this is this one made me chuckle,
guys, because this game has been in early access for, again, for like five years. And all of a sudden,
with Arc Raiders coming out.
They went, I guess
it's time for our full 1.0 release, guys.
Escape from Tarkov is finally releasing.
All of a sudden, what the chances
that they want to full release this game
when Arc Raiders comes out all of a sudden, my goodness.
What a coincidence.
Anyway, moving on.
Last one in the list.
Last one in the list.
I think this game looks really fun.
an old school throwback. It is Terminator TD, 2D, sorry, no fate. Very, very contra-looking.
It looks incredible, guys. Boss fights. You play as some of the different characters. You get to be Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator. You get to be Sarah Connor and things like that. When I very first started watching this trailer, I was kind of like, okay, but the longer I watched it, I was kind of like, oh, man, this kind of looks like it could be a lot of fun, too, at the same time.
I hate how much I get sucked into these dumb old games.
I know, dude, but that's the thing.
Oh, man, I kind of like that.
Oh, I want to play it.
Dude, we went from where wins meet, which is cutting edge, like, over the top,
soaring through the air as, like, a mythological martial arts hero to a Terminator 2D
side-scroller contra.
Like, yes, exactly.
Like, this is why I love gaming, man.
All right, listen, we got to take a quick break to hear from one of our sponsors, and we'll be right back.

All right, guys, real quick, before we get to this little game I have prepared for you guys,
we do have two kind of news stories that we need to talk about.
I'm excited for this one, dude.
Halo campaign evolved was announced
they are remaking the initial
Halo campaign
and most people would go okay cool yeah but everybody does that
but it is releasing
also on the PS5
guys placed our PlayStation
brethren are going to be able to
experience the original Halo
combat evolved
what is happening
what world do we live in
what do you guys think about this
have you guys watch the trailers for this
because I'll be honest
this one kind of impressed the heck out of me dude
really and this is just a remake
of the original combat evolved
original Halo campaign
yeah that's impressive
did you watch the trailer race
because it's I didn't know
I thought this was
well listen while Ryan and I
gush about this a little bit
why don't you watch the trailer
yeah I will
take a peek
because um most this most people know we're not about remakes of very often no not very often but uh uh halo
is the one that we've always like it is the one that you look at the world you look at the characters
you look at the environment and it always leaves you in awe and and they did it you know 10fold in this
in this one um i love it i love it in our discord we're getting people saying like oh i'm gonna get
to play Halo. Oh, I, I played it with my friends, the original because they've never played it,
and so we're going to get it for the new remake. And, like, getting to see gamers get together
to experience something so iconic that is Halo. I absolutely love. I'm excited. I, I grew up in
that world. I grew up in that genre. Like, it was my youth was Halo. Halo Combat Evolved. Original
Xbox, you know, a little bit before that with the,
a, you know, second Nintendo's and stuff when I was younger, but, like, that was my, my early
teenage years, late, late, you know, like, like youth. And I just, man, there's nothing like it.
So to see people get to really experience what I experienced, and with these upgraded graphics,
I absolutely love, man. I am so beyond stoked. I think it's going to be great. I love that
they're extending this to other people to have the opportunity to enjoy.
Heck yeah, man, I love it.
Yeah, dude, this looks incredible.
I mean, and being on every modern console is also just insane.
So everyone who missed out on it initially is now basically going to be able to join the club.
Yeah, dude.
Yes.
Welcome.
And here's the thing.
Yeah, welcome.
Welcome.
Welcome.
And you're going to see why Halo is such a legendary franchise.
To give people contacts, you know, that might be listening and can't watch the trailer, this is basically Halo infinite level graphics with.
the original Halo campaign or combat evolved it looks phenomenal all all of the the terrain
the uh enemies so the covenant the you know from down from the grunts like all the way up have been
completely remastered i mean this is not a this is not a cheap just remaster and we're trying
to sell another million copies this is 2025 we want people to be introduced to halo and we are
doing everything we can to make this impressive to get you into into what made Halo amazing
it is i think they said up to four player co-op through the campaign that's crazy i love it
there is no multiplayer so this is to be clear there's no multiplayer for this this is fully just we
want you to experience the campaign with your friends in in you know 2025's graphics and technology
and things like that i cannot wait for this i can't wait to go back
and experience it all over again, man.
Like, there's so many good moments from this.
So, and like I said, like amen to our PlayStation, you know, being able to play this
finally, dude.
I've seen a few people gripe about this.
Stop it.
The console wars are over.
It's done.
You know, it's good that people get to experience these franchises.
So that's dumb to get upset by that.
Okay, I'm just going to put that out there right now.
Since Ryan's being all spicy, I'm going to be spicy too.
And if you want to gatekeep games from people, just stop.
Okay.
It's awesome that people get to play.
Halo again. All right. And then we'll just, before we get to a fun little game here,
Amazon, they're giving up on games, guys. And their servers, apparently. Oh, my gosh.
I'll be, I'll end their service.
You know, this one hurts because I know it affects a lot of people. You know, unfortunately,
they're laying off like 14,000 people from, you know, and this is the Amazon Games Division
plus all of the supporting role and staff
and honestly this has rippled out
so I'm not saying every single one of these 14,000 people
is gaming related but
they have canceled New World
which is Amazon's MMO.
I played a decent bit of that
like I mean multiple dozens of hours of New World
I thought it was a very good game.
It wasn't really what I wanted from an MMO
but it was pretty darn good.
It lasted I don't know, almost like at this point
what a decade now I think?
It's been a while.
Yeah.
It's been out for a long time, man.
So I know this one makes people sad because we have people in our community that
were like, bro, I love the New World.
It was my first MMO.
I played with my friends.
I've got those fond memories.
But let's be honest, Amazon does not have a good track record with making video games.
So this probably is for the best.
They're just not good at making them profitable, first of all.
And then just keeping up with them.
They're so bad at the upkeep of the games.
Amazon is the quintuant.
essential we're making games to make money we're not making games because we're passionate about
making games like as much you know suits making games 100% this is like hey this is a corporation
mega corporation we're going to try to make money making video games and then it goes yeah but
you guys aren't really passionate about that and then they went so and they've made a couple
games they've flopped really really hard new world was the only one that had any kind of glimpse of
success. Yep. And apparently not successful
enough. So hopefully someone archives it.
It's sad for the people
working there, but also you kind of
knew where you were working. Like, yeah,
the pay was good, but you knew what you were doing.
So, you know, get onto a good
studio. If you got the credentials, you know.
Yeah, hopefully they find homes and
good studios. Yeah, get somewhere with a good
studio and then really create some
quality content that people can play.
All right. You guys ready
to play a little game? Oh, my man.
It's easy, right? There's
Nothing to be scared of here, boys.
I hate games.
I know.
I know you hate games.
You know, that's why you do a gaming podcast, Ryan.
So, okay, this one's easy.
And we've kind of done this before, okay?
So it's, I'm going to give you two games.
Uh-oh.
And you just have to pick one.
Oh.
That's it.
Okay?
Easy.
Now, if you pick one, I want you to quantify why you picked it.
Okay.
That's the one caveat to this one, right?
Sometimes we do this or that, and we just say, hey, don't give any context at all.
but in this case, I want you to give a little bit of context.
Okay.
All right.
All right, here we go.
And you both answer here, okay?
Hell divers two.
I will say this.
Ace, you may not have played all of these games,
but you still just have to pick one.
Yeah, I'll just pick one.
Okay.
Yeah.
All right.
Hell divers two or Arc Raiders.
I'm picking Hell divers too.
Are you kidding?
Ryan's dying inside.
I did this one just for you, Ryan.
Oh, my heart.
He's like, let's just start this one off.
It does, in fact, look like he is dying.
Oh, man.
Well, Ryan tries to gather his thoughts.
Why did you pick a Hell Divers 2?
Hell Divers 2 was like the first game I tested when we built my PC.
And we just had such a freaking blast running through that game to the point where we left
our computers on overnight so we wouldn't have to sit in the server cues.
You remember the very first time?
Like, we saw a Titan walking around?
Yes.
I do remember that.
I know.
And we did get to play this one with you a good bit, too.
Yeah, we got a lot of time into this one.
I was doing on the podcast.
Ryan may be having a stroke.
He might.
Dude, I'm having.
I know.
I'm sorry to do this to you, Ryan.
This is a,
this is really tough, man.
This is really, uh,
okay.
For Super Earth.
Okay, listen,
listen,
listen,
listen,
listen,
listen,
listen,
listen,
I reserve the right.
I do Ryan was,
Ryan was going to short circuit like I reserve the right to change my answer down the road
but as of now I would say I still I still like what I experienced in hell divers more so far
he's honest that that's not that's not to say that I cannot have more fun or or get more
with arc raiders but the the just crazy thing that was hell divers with all the over the top like
that's so me like the over the top obnoxious like ah you got to join the hell divers you know that
that is just that hits me everywhere that i love so that i think that is what really sets it off for me
and then we just had so much fun and then all the Sony issues and then all the server stuff
and then leaving your accounts up and I think there was just so much more there but man that is
that is diabolical Josh I know I'm sorry but I had to start with I'm going to go I'm going to go
with I'm going to go with hell divers for now for now for now too for me yeah hell divers too is
my answer as well uh it took over the world man and those those were just such great moments
Okay, Expedition 33 or Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
Oh, yeah, I already know what Ryan says.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
I hate turn-based combat, lame.
Yeah, Expedition 33.
Even though I didn't finish it, I'm hoping to actually finish it over our winter break.
Ace is never going to finish.
The characters in Expedition 33 were just so good.
And just getting past that first act, you're just like,
yeah my answer is expedition 33 i love kingdom come deliverance too uh but if i again the whole point
is you have to pick one so expedition 33 for me uh i agree the story in that is so memorable i
still think about expedition 33 almost music's really good i think about the music i think about
the music almost every day it's so good all right boys we're going to get ripped apart for this
one boys oh here we maybe maybe split fiction or silk song oh
rather play split fiction
split fiction yeah I didn't even get to finish my
choice too yes it was just fun
yeah it was I enjoyed every minute of split
fiction I did not enjoy every minute of
Silkson no because you don't understand it bro
you don't get it I know
you're not a real gamer you don't understand
you modded it Josh
your opinion's invalid oh my gosh
did you see the one comment we got on YouTube
did you see that or the guys like don't even listen to this
they modded it and I was like
okay yeah because we had to mod it
because contact damage is enjoyable in
some way. Yeah, I don't want to
run freaking seven minutes every
time. Did you guys ever see
a world where we literally unanimously
said split fiction over freaking
hollite silk song? No, I didn't. I never
would have. You know, man. Split fiction's
really good, though. I got to give it that.
This one's tough too here, boys.
Astrobot or Hades
2. Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
I was feeling evil today.
Yeah. I'm not going to leave the heck, man.
Oh, I've been playing a lot of Hades 2.
Like, I put it on the wayside.
You have cross, crossplay, so I've been putting in.
I'll sit and play in bed, like, before I go to sleep.
Oh, man.
I would say, for me, for me, not to take away from Hades 2,
the audible nature of Astrobot is just second to none.
It is beautiful.
It is crisp.
It is clear.
It is amazing.
I'm going to go with.
I'm going to go with Astrobot.
Not to take away from Astrobot, but Hades 2 for me was possibly one of the best video games I have ever booted up and play.
Totally fair, dude.
And it's so infinitely replayable.
You're always unlocking stuff.
You're always experiencing new dialogue, new stories, new characters.
I'm just like, this game is just unreasonably good.
Yeah.
I guess I'm the tiebreaker here, boys.
Who is it?
this is tough man i'm gonna go astrobot that's fair it's totally fair they're they're both
insanely great games it was unique it was charming i love there that's not to say i don't love
every second of hades too yeah for sure but for me astrobot is it like it edges it out barely
but my goodness yeah i it's like one a one b astronaut it really is astrobot needs to come to
pc yeah dude when when astrobot comes to pc the world's gonna lose its mind and i love the
idea that everybody is going to be able to experience
the joy that Astrobot is.
Okay.
Phasmophobia
or Outlast trials.
Oh.
Like, in what aspect, though?
We had such a freaking...
What do you have to say in what aspect?
Well, like, are we talking about
gameplay-wise or like fear factor
wise? I told you that you have to
quantify why you pick which one you think.
I'm going, I'm going Phasmophobia.
Yeah, honestly.
I think Atlas
has some
real crazy stuff that's going on man and it's it's scary and there's a lot of crazy moments but
the tension that they created um without really doing much at all in phasmophobia i think it just
takes it to the next level it's just just a notch above at last and fazz is so unique too with how
you have to bring in these items and sort of decipher clues to figure out you know what you're
dealing with and then get out of the house versus outlast which is just go here do this
which is not to take anything away from the Outlast Trials, by the.
The Outlast Trials is an all the game.
I'm picking Phasmaphobia as well.
That game scares me.
Outlast trials makes me go like, what the heck?
Phasmophobia truly scares me, dude.
All right, next one.
We got to speed up a little bit here, boys, because I still got a few of these left.
So satisfactory or grounded two?
Oh, satisfactory.
Satisfactory for me.
It's satisfactory is better than grounded, too.
I have to give it.
That tells you people, we do.
told you to pick it up on console there
there you go gratitude cool so
ghost of Yote
or the altars
oh gosh I didn't play these
Ghost of Yote I would rather play Ghost of Yote
though because I love Ghost of Yota
I haven't played Ghost of Yote I wasn't a huge
fan of the Alters but I play both
it's Ghost of Yote for sure and I loved
altars I loved it
Eldon Ring Night Rain or
Resident Evil 4
Oh RE4
I think it's RE4 for sure
dude. Yeah, I think Resident Evil
4. It's just, how can you
turn down Leon Kennedy? That's an all-time.
I wanted to be like a multi-player versus a single player.
Yeah, that's, I mean, man, we had
a lot of fun on Eldon Ring, but
yeah, RE4 is the one.
Yeah.
All right, I know Ace's answer on this
one, Ryan, but this one, I want to hear your thoughts
on this one too. So, Marvel
Rivals or Battlefield 6?
Oh, Battlefield 6.
Yeah, it's Marvel Rivals for me. All day.
Yeah, Battlefield 6.
Still going strong.
No, nerd.
This one's, I'm going to say Battlefield 6th.
Unsurprisingly.
That's even like a decision for you, dude.
Bro, I loved Marvel.
I'm the one that got you guys in a Marvel world.
I was the one that was like, guys, there's like an Overwatch clone that's Marvel.
It's like the greatest thing ever.
It is my first real, real, real hero shooter.
This is the last standing one.
Real, real hero shooter for me.
Like, it's the first one, but like, dude, Battlefield, come on.
Come on.
Yeah.
All right.
all right last one boys and then we're getting out of here
this is the battle of the upcoming games
light no fire or judas
oh judas
judas i don't know dude
it's light no fire for me because i want to see
light no fire just looks incredible dude yeah
oh it does it absolutely does and i want to see
how much he's learned by ken levin
judas is looking incredible dude
but i am going light no fire
oh oh oh i want
I want to live in that world.
If they, if Hello Games pulls this off, you know,
like this game is what I, like,
I hope that this game is.
Okay, now, not just what on like,
what, what, what, what one do you think is going to be able to pull it off, though?
Because these are two very ambitious.
They're very ambitious projects.
I think he's learned his lesson in how to do this whole game development thing.
And we've got a great game coming our way.
They're building light, no fire from the ground up with multiplayer and,
intended this massive massive sandbox world where you can do so many different things dude i and
again i think it plays into my desire for progression and stuff but again we haven't really
seen very much other than the one pretty incredible trailer but if it if light no fire is what
my brain hopes that it is this like i've said this before that might be my most hyped game dude
like legitimately next of course like gta six so yeah all right listen that's it man so uh i'm
curious. I want to hear from the listeners. Let's hear what you guys think on the Hell Divers
2 versus Arc Raiders and the Astrobot or Hades 2. So leave a comment in the episode on this one.
Pick one of those from each of those two. Let us know why. I know it's a tough decision. Let us know
why, but we want to hear what you think since I think those two were the hardest to pick one.
