Hello, fellow gamers, and welcome to the video gamers podcast.
Today, we're doing something a little special.
We've talked about Karen from a design perspective, the climbing mechanics, the survival,
the systems, but we are going deeper because at the center of all that rock, exhaustion,
and isolation is Ava.
So today we're talking to the voice behind Ava about what it takes to bring emotional weight
to a game that's just about a much about its internal struggle as it about climbing a mountain.
And I am your host, Ace.
And joining me, he's my trusty Climbot that followed me all the way to the summit.
It's Ryan.
Ryan Climbots don't talk.
That's the upgrade.
That's her old version.
The new one does and it falls.
Oh, the new version talks?
Okay.
Yeah, I didn't know that.
And she is the incredibly talented voice behind one of 2026's first must-play games of the year.
It's Sophia Aleni.
Hello, hello.
Thank you for having me again.
Thank you for coming back.
We appreciate it.
Thank you.
Oh my gosh.
We're so excited to talk to you about this game.
Me and Ryan have just been nonstop.
Just yap, yep, yep, yep, yep.
Like genuinely.
Oh, amazing.
All right.
We're going to get to Karen, Sophia.
But I just found out you have a new movie coming out in April.
I want to hear about that.
Oh, gosh.
Yeah.
Okay, so yeah, as well as a voice actress, I'm a screen actress as well.
So yeah, I've got a new movie coming out.
It's a horror film called The Bonekeeper.
I enjoy a good horror film.
Yeah, it's quite a cool premise, actually.
It's about a group of friends who go exploring in some caves
when they find out that one of their friends,
has gone missing.
And they've heard this rumor that there's some kind of legend of like this kind of creature
or something that lurks in these caves.
So they go and they try and basically find this missing person.
And the film stars John Reese Davis as well, who you might know is Gimli from Lord of the Rings.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, nice.
Yeah, so that was really cool.
working with him as well.
Yeah, yeah, he's awesome, awesome guy.
He's got a lot of interesting stories.
So caves and mountains, huh?
That's what you like to do.
Honestly, I literally don't know what's going on.
I seem to be going from like all these crazy elements.
But I'm working with it, I'm running with it.
And hey, you know, at least I'm...
Keep getting work.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
You know, it's so...
Just running with it.
But yeah, it was really cool.
We shot it last year.
Yeah.
Oh, nice.
Okay.
Well, first and foremost,
congratulations on the release of Cairn.
And it's pretty big success overall with 200,000 players, I would say.
300,000 now, apparently.
In no short part to you.
Oh, wow.
Oh, really?
Oh, wow. Nice.
Apparently.
Apparently.
I honestly, I'm just like, wow, okay.
Yeah.
I feel like not enough people are playing for my taste, but I'll take it.
That's great.
Have you had any time to sit down and play the game yourself yet?
Well, I was able to get a first early release of the game, obviously before it actually came out.
So I did get to play it, yeah.
I'll be honest, I'm not very good.
at climbing.
It took me about five days to get the hang of the controls of moving Ava's limbs.
And I was thinking, oh, come on, woman.
You know, get a grip of yourself.
But I did eventually.
And then I got very frustrated because it is quite a challenging game, actually.
I mean, I know Arva kind of goes through the mill a bit.
But, I mean, technically, you know, I mean, I'm not really a gamer, to be completely honest with you.
So for me, it was like extra hard.
That's fair.
But, yeah, it was absolutely a journey.
Yeah.
So you got to get real familiar with yourself screaming a lot as you felt.
Oh, yeah.
Absolutely.
And it's funny because I really desperately wanted to enjoy playing the game.
But it's very hard to say, you know, when you're playing it,
but then you hear your voice going, fuck!
And you think, oh yeah, I remember that bit.
Yeah, in the studio.
You know, she's got a bit of a posse mouth.
She does, yeah.
It kind of took it out for me a little bit.
I thought, oh, yeah, I remember we were in the studio that day.
Yeah, yeah, I had a really bad cold that day.
Yeah, yeah, you know.
So.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
What is it kind of like being the main voice of a main character, a game like this?
It's like, that was, that had to have a lot of work.
It's really surreal.
I mean, this is my first main character in a video game.
I mean, I've only really been acting in video games for about three years, I'd say.
So I'm still kind of a newbie.
I guess to it.
But this is like my first kind of big role in a game.
And it's amazing.
And I'm ever so grateful and happy to be part of this project.
It is a special project.
It will always be special for me because it's my first kind of big break, I suppose, in a way,
for the gaming stuff.
But it's a special game as well.
And I feel very close to it.
It's like leaving a legacy in a way, you know.
It will always be there in the ether somewhere.
So it's kind of weird, but really cool.
So you were probably pretty excited for this game's release, just like we were.
Oh, my gosh.
Yeah, like massively.
I couldn't wait.
Because initially, I mean, we spent about...
a year, I think for my bits anyway, we spent about a year recording all of my vocal stuff.
I know.
And so this game's, it's been in the making, like, for quite a while.
We've been working on it since 2024.
And we were told, you know, every few months, oh, you know, if we get it finished by this point,
then we might release it by this month.
And so I kept getting really excited thinking, yeah, it's.
coming out at this time and then they delay it and delay it because, you know, the writers,
they think, oh, let's add a bit more dialogue, you know, so, you know, we're doing extra
sessions in the studio. So initially we were going to release in November last year, but we
pushed it back because we just wanted to make it extra special, extra perfect. So it's like,
oh God, I've got to wait until January now. I got to give way to, I'm, the friends or family are
like, is there really a game?
Come on.
Yeah.
Is this actually happening?
You know, but yeah, so, you know, it was a real buildup.
But I think that helped build up the hype as well for the game, I guess.
Because people seem to really love the demo and.
Oh, yeah.
That sold us for sure.
Oh, yeah.
We were anticipating it from the moment we played the demo back in June.
We were just like, here it comes, here it comes, here it comes.
that moment when you you climb up and you get through up to the top and then you actually see the mountain
like there was nothing like that that was that was one of the best ways to end a demo i've ever
i've ever seen that to build hype in anticipation for a game like oh i haven't even started
you know yeah yeah absolutely it is it is stunning and i think um what's incredible is that
the the game bakers so the developers of this game
they really, really took the time to
to craft the visuals of this game.
You know, every crevice of that mountain of Mount Kami,
every boulder, they designed every single thing.
It's art, you know, what they've done.
And they were trying to think of every possible route
that the climbers, you know, the players might go up, you know.
So designing all these different spaces
and it's just incredible.
I don't know how they had the patience for it,
to be honest with you.
That's fair.
I don't know if I would.
Yeah, big kudos to any.
That is it.
Especially indie developers like that.
And that's a neat part of this game too
is that no player is going to have the same experience
or root up,
Cammy.
Like everybody's going to experience this differently
and discover stuff differently.
And it is.
It's the same way everybody experiences art differently.
And it's,
you know, it's really neat to see somebody actually take the time to craft something like this
and you being a part of it, you know?
Yeah, it's amazing.
It's beautiful.
There are certain characters as well.
I understand that players might not even come across, you know, depending on the route that you take in this game.
So you're quite right.
Everyone's going to experience this game differently and have a slightly different journey.
Well, last time we had you on, the game wasn't out yet, so we couldn't talk, like, about the story or a lot about Ava and some of the, you know, things that happen in the game.
But Ava is very much the emotional core to this game, because it's just about as much about climbing the mountain as it is overcoming your own, I guess, mental blocks.
How would you describe Ava's journey to someone who hasn't played the game yet?
I think this, I mean, Ava's story is, it's about self-pop.
confrontation
and it's about
who are you really
when
everything
you know
comfort reassurance
your everyday
everything's stripped away
and it's just you
authentically you
in a harsh environment
that
that's the real strength
you know
about in a resilience
I think
and I really admire
Arva actually
I know a lot of feedback
you know from some people we've had is
she's really
she's a bit mean
she's a bit
you know
a bit distant
you know she's like telling Marco
to shut up and
you know she's got a bit of sass to her
but she
she's not mean
because she's a mean person
she's actually very
human. She's there because, you know, she, she has a goal and she's, she's really all about
wanting to possibly escape, I think. A lot of this game is about escape for her.
Yeah.
You know, and ambition, you know, questioning, is ambition strength or is it escape?
And Arthur's definitely escaping.
Yeah.
From stuff, you know.
Yeah.
She's running away from a lot of things.
Using the mountain.
I kind of really took a lot from Ava's journey.
It meant a lot.
Oh, good.
It's something you just kind of have to experience yourself to understand it.
Because everyone's like, she's mean.
It's like, well, you didn't get past the beginning then.
You didn't understand what she's going through and how she's working through that
by basically just trying to ignore everything and climb this mountain.
Yes.
So when you read her script, was there a part of her story that hit you the hardest, like,
really touched, touched you?
I, well, I was firstly really drawn to the character, to her personality, you know, this idea,
the things we spoke about, you know, about her ambition and she seems quite hard on the surface,
but she's actually a very vulnerable, slightly fractured person.
as well
and that was really
interesting for me
to tap into
as an actor
was finding that
very fine line
that is really interesting
and humans are interesting
we're all very complex
but Arva
you know
Arva's extraordinary
she's
she's special
I feel
and she's going to these extremes
you know
to really overcome
something within her.
But I feel like, so that was one thing that really kind of, I was really struck by,
it really resonated when I read it.
I thought, wow, she's amazing.
But there was a particular scene in the narrative that really hit, like, you know, hit a moment
for me.
And I mean, I'm hoping that listeners have hopefully played the game.
But there is a scene where she, you know, she's got her Kleinbot companion, right?
And she's very close, I guess, to Climbot.
You know, Climbot's there helping her through all these, you know, difficult weathering the storms, you know, all these awful scenarios.
And there's a scene where Climbot is really starting to struggle.
The cold, the high altitude, and just, just.
climb bot's really kind of gone through it.
And she, you know, she has to make a decision,
quite a difficult decision about,
is she going to go on alone, like actually go on alone?
Or is she going to fight to keep some kind of familiarity,
you know, her Kleinbot, her friend?
that was really sad
it's
you know it's quite a
and of course the player
gets to choose
the player can decide
but for Ava
that is a really difficult thing
because she's so
close to achieving
what she wants
but she's got to fight for
you know for something
and ask questions of herself
at that moment
in time. So yeah, for me, that scene is kind of a standout.
Yeah. Yeah. That scene matters a lot. I can tell you with certainly, I dragged him all
the way up there. I was not leaving that little robot behind. Oh, did you? Yeah. I was not
leaving. Blind by, you're coming with me, baby. I am not hitting this peak all by myself.
Especially because you do find, you find the other kind of climb by carcass, if you will, that's like
sitting on the mountains. Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure that factors into it as well as dragging the one with
you. I mean, it is sad. Yeah, for me, a really, you know, oh, sorry, go on. Yeah. No, no, no, go ahead.
Yeah, I was just going to say, I mean, you're quite right, Ryan. I mean, there is, you know,
there is a climb bot that she finds that's essentially dead, you know, it's sort of run out of
juice, perhaps, and, you know, she puts a little can of rocks on top of it to, you know,
as a kind of gravestone, I suppose.
But there is another climb bot that she finds.
I don't know, I mean, it depends which route you've taken, I suppose.
But there is a, I mean, I found this climb bot.
And I thought, oh my gosh, I didn't even know this one existed.
And this climb bot she finds is sort of abandoned.
And it's sort of on low battery percentage.
But there's a message that's been left on it.
And it obviously belonged to a climber who's now rest in peace,
you know, long gone. But there's a message on it from a relative that's, you know, saying,
my little boy's won now. And, you know, and it's just so sad. And you think,
blimey, you know. Yeah. Yeah, it's quite deep, isn't it, really? Yeah. Yeah. I've been working
through the 100% achievement for this game. And I found that last night. And I was like, oh,
Ouch.
It's like, oh no.
Such a sad message on the little robot left outside the cave.
It is, isn't it?
I kind of felt that way when I found the climber in the cave where you find a thermal
blanket.
And then I turned around and a bear ate me.
So after that time, I was like, I'll just leave him in peace and he can just rest in the cave.
I'll just go up this other way.
Not bad.
Do you have any kind of personal experiences or inspirations you brought into the acting for Ava?
Well, I mean, look, I've never climbed up a mountain in my life.
So, you know, I had to do a lot of imagination and a lot of acting involved in this.
I mean, I think in terms of Ava's values, her and understanding her, that was.
how I tapped into her acting wise.
So, I mean, I suppose this idea of seeking authenticity
as actors, you know, we seek to be truthful
and we seek to be our authentic selves.
And Arva does that.
She isn't seeking validation.
You know, she's got her agent Chris constantly yapping and sending her messages saying,
send me some photos, send me some news, you know, and Arva's not interested in that.
Yeah, she's a celeb and, you know, she's this pro climber and people recognize her,
but she's not actually interested in any of that.
What she's interested in is, is herself, like, facing herself and this.
idea of solitude, you know, and being alone and being okay with that. And for me, it's Sophia.
I, you know, I always strive as an actor to be as authentic as I can be, to bring myself into my work,
you know, me as Sophia, to bring my vulnerability, my truths into work. So I really felt like
I try to
to feel
and to
not be afraid to be exposed
or to be raw
you know some of the acting
it's not pretty at all
it's not beautiful voice acting
it's really fucking raw
and angry at times
you know like it's it's
you can feel it
yeah it's feeling right
it's you know so
and she's all up there
her own. So there's no one there to watch her and to, you know, she's not doing it for applause.
She's, she's there doing it for herself. And I say go, girl, you know.
You go get it, girl. Yeah. Did you're like, did your understanding of Ava kind of change as the
recording went on? Like, did you come into it thinking she was abrasive and mean at first and then
start to understand her as you read the script and started to, you know, get further and further along?
in her story?
I mean,
early days,
I,
I mean,
obviously I got,
I got sent,
I actually only got sent
half of the script
by the time
I'd got into the studio.
So day one,
day dot in the studio,
I had no idea
really what was going to happen.
I didn't know
what the ending was
or,
or,
or, you know,
what happened in act two,
you know,
I had no idea.
So I kind of went in
just with a kind of
general idea of who Ava was. And I did read it thinking, wow, she's a little bit abrasive.
Yeah, a little bit. And so me as Sophia, I mean, I'm, you know, I like to think I'm quite an empathic
person, quite warm. So I was initially in the sessions, I was trying to give her a bit more warmth
and a bit more like, you know, in the voice, she's less kind of harsh and cold and she's a bit more
like, yeah, you know, a bit more, yeah, all to her.
Yeah.
And the director and we had the gaming devs in as well, Audrey and Emmerich.
They flew in from Paris in the first week when we were there
and they were sort of sat in the booth there, like sort of listening.
And they were saying, no, no, no, you know, she's too nice.
We've got to make her, you know.
And I was like, really? Really?
So they really, like, early days, they would like dialing me.
Yeah, they were like dialing me down.
So I went from like a really warm color, if you like,
to kind of going through the shades to like finding this kind of quite stoic.
Arva's voice is quite deep and it's quite sort of chesty and it's sort of here.
So it gives her a bit more authority.
You know, so it was like finding her voice.
So, yeah, it took a while because that's very far removed from who I actually.
which is so it's a bit alien to me but um yeah yeah and then you know obviously i got sent the script
kind like the other half of the script sort of probably about two months into recording and i was
like oh shit this happens you know like wow um so it was quite juicy really i thought oh oh i
didn't know this happens.
So yeah, I sort of only found out stuff along the way as we were recording.
And the other funny thing is, as well, I never got to meet any of the other actors.
Oh, really?
I wanted to know.
So this never happened.
So I've literally not met any of the other actors, apart from the guy that plays Marco.
And this is a funny story, actually.
So the guy that plays Marco
Hioi O'Grady
And
we sort of connected
like on Instagram
and we're like
Oh yeah
Yeah we're both in the same game
And yeah
So we've been like chatting on Instagram and stuff
But we're like we'd never met each other
And you know
I've been sending him messages saying
Oh I'm in the studio today
And I can hear your feeders like your lines
And it's
You sound great
And yeah yeah
And so anyway
We'd been like
talking stuff like that.
And then just a few weeks ago,
I was back at the same studio
where we recorded Ken.
And I was just on a break
from a session
and this guy walks past me
and was crossing paths in the hallway
and I go,
Marco?
Marco!
And it's literally, it's Joey.
And we both recognised each other
and so that was the first time
we've ever met.
So we had like a very quick like oh my god the game's coming out soon and sort of fan girling over it
but yeah really exciting we're having a launch party in Paris next week for the game
so yeah the gaming devs invited invited me there for a party which is going to be quite cool
so we're having this like indoor climbing wall at the party
So of course, no pressure.
Everyone's going to be like, Ava, get on that wall.
So.
Oh, yeah.
You know what's coming.
I'm going to have to get some practice in there or something.
I, you know, or it's going to be rather embarrassing for me.
So, but yeah, so that's happening.
So I'm really excited about that.
If it was me, if I was Marco, though, when you roll up to the party,
I would hope he would tell you to stop following him.
I love that
I love that
Yeah
Very good
I guess you're gonna get to see
How accurate the sounds you make are
While you're climbing that wall
Yeah
Well
I'll be straight with you
I'm very scared of heights
So
Oh no
I'm like the worst person
They've cast in this game
Seriously
like I just
I'm not great
yeah
we'll see how the next week goes
I'll let you know
yeah definitely let me know
I definitely want to know
we'll keep an eye out on the socials
all the listeners you follow Sophia too
so without
spoiling anything big for now
what emotional reaction do you kind of
whole players walk away with
when they finish Karen
which I guess will depend on what ending you pick
Well, it certainly does. Yeah, it depends. There's basically two different endings to this game. But I really hope, I mean, because I know it was really important to Audrey and Emmerich, the gaming devs. It was really important to them that they wanted players to actually like really experience and feel the journey. Every frustration, every joy, every.
sense of awe, every spectrum of, you know, this journey, they wanted players to also feel,
which is why, you know, this game, it's not going to be for everybody because it requires
some patience, but that's, that was deliberate. It's not, it's not call of duty where you're
going, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, blah, yeah, you know, it's not a speedy game like that.
It's a game where you need to, you need to actually experience it real time.
And that's exactly what the gaming devs were aiming for.
So I think, and what we hope, is that people really come away,
regardless of whatever ending they've chosen,
is they come away thinking and feeling like, wow, I went somewhere.
I actually felt everything that Ava felt, I was there with her.
Yeah.
You know, and I think that's the sort of.
sort of goal or the takeaway from this. Yeah.
That's no, that's, that's a really good point. And, and, uh, from, from a player and
somebody who played the game, and I do love the outdoors. I love going, you know, and doing,
um, outdoor activities, but my, my interaction with this game was so neat to where it is a rock
climbing game, but, but that's kind of just part of the journey. That's how you traverse to the
next level where you discover more about this beautiful mountain and all the people that live
there or lived there.
Yes.
And it just keeps telling the story in these different stages as you do it.
And that's what makes the climbing so rewarding is you get up to that next stage and then
you get to find out more and learn more and explore more and try to survive.
And so, yeah, it resonated deeply with me as somebody who loves the outdoors and loves video games.
So they definitely hit the mark on what they were trying to achieve with the patience aspect to where you have to take your time.
You have to get to this next session, but there is a reward.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I, something about this game was just special to me from the start to the point where like if this was just a, you know, a Call of Duty bang, bang, bang, bang, I would have just glossed over it immediately because it's just not my, that's not interesting in this role.
That's what Indie Devs kind of bring to the forefront is a innovative, unique.
way to play a game and tell a story.
And I think Karen does that masterfully,
honestly.
And no short part
to your acting, genuinely.
Like, it is what carries this game
for me.
Thank you ever so much.
Although, would, uh,
yeah, no.
Although whenever I'm like just about to climb up,
a ledge and you start shuddering and screaming at me,
I do get a little nervous.
I'm like,
I'm almost there.
Yeah, there's a lot of that.
A lot of that.
Yeah.
It's funny because I think people...
Have you seen...
Sorry, I was a delay.
I was going to say, I think people thought initially...
There's a huge story.
Perhaps in the demo that it might just have been a climbing sim.
But this thing was...
I was thinking, oh God, guys, it's so much more than that.
But you have no idea.
You have no idea.
So, yeah, they didn't...
want to obviously give away like the narrative and and things beforehand. I suppose it's been a
bit of a surprise. I think a lot of, you know, gamers in the gaming community have said, wow,
this was a real surprise. Like, you know, it's, well, I thought it would just be a gaming sim,
but there's, it's a lot more profound than, than that. It definitely is. I mean, we, I know for us,
after our deep dive where we covered the game and then we streamed it, if you,
few times or I did and people were unexpectedly excited. They were like, oh, I didn't, I didn't think
this game was going to be this deep or have this much of a like a connection to a story or,
or the world, you know, so it was really neat to see. So having said that, have you seen any,
any player reactions or or anything from people who have played the game that really stuck
with you? Um, sorry, I'm, I'm, um,
I'm laughing because I had a very interesting message from someone.
Well, first of all, I'll say, you know, most people have said that, oh, the story's amazing,
really enjoyed your voice acting, you know, which is a huge compliment.
and thank you for allowing me to experience Ava's journey,
you know, things like that, which has been really lovely.
So, you know, I always say thank you and, you know, leave a little note and a message back.
But I've received the most bizarre message from someone.
It was a voice note.
There we go.
And someone, so this person said to me, Ohio,
I just want to say
thanks for a great game
and you know
So it sort of started off
I thought okay that's nice
you know
And then they sort of ended it with
You know
I came for a climbing game
But in the end
All I got was accidental therapy
And I was like
Okay
All right
Yeah
I'm really glad for you
It was so strange
I was like okay
You can send them an invoice
That'll be 149.95
Yeah that's a good plan
I'll do that
But I thought
Okay
Anyway but I'm glad they
enjoyed the game
And
You know
Working through their own demons
That's certainly a memorable reaction
Yeah it was
It was just a bit like
Random
I don't know
But anyway
I'm,
at least it was positive,
you know.
Yeah,
I mean,
people are going to experience it in their own way, right?
You know,
I mean,
it is quite deep,
you know,
and what other is going through.
And so maybe it just really resonated,
um,
on another level for them.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
I have one final question before we wrap it up.
And this is a spoiler because someone got mad at me last time
when I said spoilers,
clearly and they didn't listen and kept listening.
Which ending felt the most true to Ava to you and why?
Which one did you prefer?
The most truthful ending is when she reaches the summit.
Mm-hmm.
A hundred percent.
Because that is her whole goal.
That's her whole being, every fiber of her.
That is what she is, you know,
going for right that that's what she wants and she proved everyone wrong she proved damas wrong
she proved marco wrong uh you know she she proved naomi wrong um her partner you know like
saying not actually i can do this and you don't get it you none of you get it none of you
really get what this is to me and she does it for herself that is the that is the that is the
the truth. That's, that is her
real ending. I got goosebumps.
I got goosebumps now, man.
It is. It is.
The scene where she's
Yeah.
Yeah, no, the scene where she's like trying to explain
why she is the way she is over the radio to Naomi
and it's not going through and it's like, that's just,
I felt that was like, well, now I have to do it. I have to make it to the top.
Yeah.
Yeah. And there was something clever as well in the writers
deciding that, you know, the radio doesn't quite work either.
So she can't even communicate.
Not only can she verbally express it, but she physically,
even if she wanted to, she can't.
Because she's in this world of solitude and isolation.
And it's like everything's just out of her power at that point
and she's just got to do it.
Because no one else is going to be able to communicate
and understand with her, right, about why she's doing it.
So I thought that was quite a clever touch, you know, not actually being able to talk.
Even when she wanted to at that point, she couldn't.
So that was quite profound as well.
But yeah, that scene, when we were recording it in the studio,
I actually got quite emotional with that because I just felt really sorry for her.
And I knew that point shift after that scene.
It was like, this is where.
things are going to change.
This is where the player chooses
if things are going to change for her.
But, you know, even if you choose the alternative ending
and the alternative ending, if you don't know what it is,
she goes back down the mountain with Marco and she goes home
and she's sat on her bed
and she's just kind of looking at the floor
in her bedroom and she's just regret.
and is constantly thinking, what if, what if?
So, I mean.
The mountain always wins.
Right.
That's what I'd heard.
Mountain always wins.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, yeah.
Thank you very much for coming back, Sophia.
We really appreciate it, especially after we played the game and we absolutely loved it.
We were going to reach out to you, but you reached out to us first.
So we were like, this is perfect.
Oh, honestly, guys, thank you for having me.
It's, yeah, it's been really great to talk about it and thank you for playing it as well.
Is there anything you want to promote or anything where our audience can come follow you and support you and whatever you're working on?
Oh, thank you.
Well, I'm on Instagram.
That's sort of really where I'm at.
I'm at Sophia Eleni Official.
That's where you can find me.
and I post regularly about my time in the booth,
a few little behind-the-scenes snippets on games that I'm working on.
I've got another big game announcement coming soon, actually.
So you will have definitely heard of this game.
I guess we'll have you back again.
Okay.
Oh, all right.
All right.
That's exciting.
Yeah, I think this is going to be.
We love hearing about game announcements, that's for sure.
I think this is going to be my biggest game to date.
the announcement to come.
So, yes, but I'm not allowed to say anything for now.
All right, fair enough.
We won't get you in trouble.
We'll get it off when the cameras are off, for sure.
Yeah, we'll get the info.
I want to say, I want to say personally, like, as someone,
I always wanted to be a voice actor, I never had the gusto to go try to do it.
but to see somebody put in as much effort as you did to this character and you could genuinely
feel it through the gameplay.
I didn't,
I didn't feel like I played the game.
I feel like I experienced her journey.
And that was because of what you did.
So I want to say thank you.
And I'm sure a lot of other people, apparently more than 300,000 people now, probably feel the same way.
So it's really cool to see what you've done.
And I'm stoked for you and how your career is.
going to catapult forward with this game and then the new apparently upcoming game that's
going to be announced hopefully soon. That's really kind. Thank you ever so much. It really means
a lot. Thank you. And it's just a reminder, Karen is out now on PC and PS5. So if you haven't played
it already, what are you doing? Why are you listening to this if you haven't played the game?
Go play. Go play the game. It's genuinely fantastic. It's the
first must play game of 2026, in my opinion.
But if you enjoyed this, be sure to rate the show.
Leave us five stars.
But until next time, happy gaming.
There he goes, down the mountain.
See ya.
