There's nothing quite like the hype and hope of a big gaming event to give us incredible
reveals, new game trailers and updates on long-awaited games.
This week brings Summer Games Fest and hopefully a slew of incredible games to talk about.
But before we get into our hopes and dreams for what we want to see, some introductions
are in order.
I am your host Josh and joining me, nothing gets him quite as excited about an announcement
announcing that there will be an announcement.
It's Ryan.
That's, that's like, that's why I never worked in the corporate world,
you know, with the suits I could.
All right, let's circle up, let's have a meeting
about when we're gonna have the meeting.
Just not for me, bro.
Oh, man.
We're actually gonna cover a couple announcements today,
saying that there might be announcement,
but hey, you know, sometimes that's what you got.
And joining us, he's got his eye on the little guys
because he thinks AAA is a roadside assistance company.
It's John.
It's the year of Indy, guys.
Year of Indy.
Expedition 33 is paving the way
and the whole rest of the world's gonna follow.
I know it.
I love, I mean, let's be honest.
I love that idea.
I was actually listening to another podcast on my way home
and the guys were saying on there
They were saying that expedition 33 is truly the greatest game that they have ever played in their entire lives
And I was kind of like I mean I kind of get it man. I get that take
Yeah, so well
Here's the thing is that like so we've had a lot of feedback online from people who disagree with us and that's great
but you have to acknowledge that at least the production value is like triple A quality and they did it with 33
people and a tiny fraction of the budget.
So what does that mean for triple A?
I don't know.
I'm still, I'm still kind of reeling from you, you know, talking a little
bad about Baldur's gate three and being a little down on God of war 2018 and
Elden ring and you know, but man
This is why indie studios exist man, you know, I mean how many people in our community are like dude
I didn't like that game. I didn't like this banger of a game
We have people who don't like expedition 33 one of them sitting on this show right now. I didn't like it
It's just not my style
I'm one of the few that can recognize it if If it was an action RPG, dude, brother,
I'd be all over it.
You mean like Elden Ring Night Reign that we've been playing?
Yeah. Speaking of, let's get this going so we can go play.
Yeah, right? I know. I have to mention Night Reign real quick because Ryan has been playing
his first ever foray into Elden Ring and it's going pretty good, man.
It is. it's been exciting
we uh we're streaming which by the way we do that now uh we've been twitch streaming and we're
streaming my experience uh in Elden Ring which has been awesome man I never I I hope that at least
the real Elden Ring is as close to as fun as its experience is. It's so much better and I know you
say that but I like the speed of Night Rain, and I like playing with you
guys.
Yeah, okay.
That's fair.
So we are going to be deep diving Elden Ring Night Rain, so don't worry about that.
But guys, let's get into this, man.
We got a lot to cover.
I mean, you know, Summer Games Fest, I am a nerd gamer.
I love game showcases.
I watch every one that I can, honestly,
because it's like, I wanna know what new games are coming up.
I wanna see awesome trailers.
I wanna find new games to get excited about.
You know, we used to have E3,
and E3 was the biggest gaming event of the year,
and then COVID, and then it wasn't monetarily
made a lot of sense, and E3 kind of fell by the wayside, and then we and then it wasn't monetarily made a lot of sense and E3 kind
of fell by the wayside and then we started getting these kind of virtual things and so
on.
So, but it's like, are you guys fans of these things?
I love them personally.
Oh, they're like my favorite.
I mean, like I love the game fests and the end of the year awards.
Those are like my two very favorite things in in video games besides playing the video games. Yeah
I'm I'm kind of indifferent like I usually if I miss it. I'm not like devastated, but I enjoy watching it, especially lately
With you know the pod and our discord everybody's reacting so getting to chat with people live is pretty cool
But yeah, I'm mostly indifferent on it
I I used to just watch like the highlights of like,
just show me all the game trailers that were announced
and that's it.
But you're right in that there is something
when you're watching them live
to get people's live reactions
and kind of see like, oh, this looks great.
I can't believe they announced this.
And everybody's talking and typing at the same time.
And there's definitely some fun that happens there.
So let me just clarify one thing real quick for everybody.
Summer Games Fest, when I first heard that
I was like cool steams having another sale. What's what's the big deal?
You know I mean my backlogs big enough as it is this this is not a steam sale people
This is not a next fest or a winter sale or something like this. This actually is a big gaming showcase
So I want us to just let let's be optimistic, guys.
Let's be hopeful.
You know, let's talk about what we want to see,
because we will absolutely get some big reveals.
I mean, we're going to talk about it here in a little bit,
but there's rumor that Witcher 4 is going to get shown off
a little bit.
That'd be big.
Some big titles coming up that people
are expecting to get announced.
But I want to bring it back to a personal level for a second.
Are there any games, DLCs, updates, or anything like that
that you are just absolutely hoping
to see or get more information about when Summer Games
Fest happens on Friday?
I've got a big one. I've heard rumblings that there is going to be some big fighting game news
this Summer Fest. And one of my very favorite all-time games that is still a game, if I see it in
the arcades or if somebody has it, even if it's several
generations old at their house, Marvel versus Capcom, I would love to see
my first Capcom for a man if they did NVC for, especially if it's sprites.
Oh my gosh, that would be awesome, man.
That would be so sick.
I was a, I'd always play Spider-Man.
What would it was you?
Me?
Yeah.
Uh, it's a, it's a cheese team, dude, but, uh, war machine, cable and Fireman, what was you? Me? Yeah.
It's a cheese team, dude, but War Machine, Cable, and Cami.
Ah, yes. Fireman was always my favorite.
I wanted Wolverine and Ryu or Ken.
I wanted the mix of the two,
but I also wanted those people that just get in your face
and just put out damage too.
Cyclops was good for that little like
Assist like laser blast to kind of keep people back a little bit if you needed to
Dude Marvel versus Capcom those games were so good
I just remember playing I think it was two at my college for just I mean a long time in between classes
Greatest fighting game ever. Yeah, I mean it was it was really good. It was so well done, too
So alright, so I'm with you on this one John. I you know any any others that are jumping to mind for you? Um
Nothing crazy big. I know I this is like a I
In the sky shot in the dark crazy crazy if but for me at least
With the joy it would bring me but if I were to get a Metal Gear Solid 1 remake
Man, I would be a happy camper Metal Gear Solid 1 remake, man, I would be a happy camper.
Are you getting Metal Gear Solid 2 remake, man?
No.
It's a, I want one.
Three.
I want one.
Is it three?
Oh, it is three.
It's three.
Yeah, three's Delta, Snake Eater.
That's the remake.
That's probably the best Metal Gear Solid.
But man, one was obviously the first one I played,
and has a special place in my heart.
So a remake of that would be pretty awesome.
Ryan just all about the Metal Gear games.
He's like, we make them all Metal Gear.
If we're just going based on hopes here,
we had a little bit of like news earlier this year about,
or really only a couple of weeks ago,
but Half-Life 3 would be pretty rad.
Oh man.
The world would lose its mind, man.
For sure.
I, this is why these things excite me dude, because you never know.
Like, like if, if half life three was getting announced, this is where it
would get announced, you know?
Um, I think for me, I I'm super curious about some of these games that we have
heard of in the past, but we don't really have release dates for yet.
So like for one that comes to mind for me
is this game Judas, right?
Like Judas came out of the blue,
Ken Levine, the creator of Bioshock,
this is the spiritual successor.
We got gameplay videos of this,
and then it just kind of went into hiding.
Judas is supposed to release in 2025,
but we've heard nothing, man.
You know, so it's like, I would love to hear an update
on Judas because this game looks great to me.
It's got all of the Bioshock DNA that I love to see.
It looks like it has been iterated and updated
and things like that.
So it like, that gets me really excited.
It's also Bioshock in space.
I love the space setting and just about anything.
So like that's one that's like, man, if we're going to get some updates on a game
or some information on something, Judas is one for me.
Absolutely.
And then the other one for me is light.
No fire.
Um, I mean, I think it's been over a year now since we got the announcement of light,
no fire.
And they showed, you know showed that this game was even,
it was being developed, and it looks like
it's pretty far along in the development.
I'm gonna lose my mind, dude.
Light No Fire, to me, it will instantly rocket
to the top of my height meter.
I don't know why, it looks freaking phenomenal,
but I would love some more information
from Hello Games on that for sure.
So yeah.
Didn't you say that about a vow to I, well, I mean, this looks so good, man.
I'm so excited.
I mean, it looked good.
All right.
You know, you want to go there, right?
I see where somebody's picking Redfall.
Listen, that was a long time ago.
That was a long time ago, okay
Right right away
You got me
You got me your one defense is you were brand new to the podcast Ryan. I was I'm like I'm just gonna pick games
I guess yeah
So I mean but yeah, so those for me
I would love to see that I mean there are a gajillion games and franchises and stuff like that,
that we would love to get more information on.
But if we're going to say, hey, these are the things that I would love to see more of.
Yeah, Stokes for Judas.
I am too, man. I think it looks fantastic.
So all right, well, one game that we are getting wind of that we will hear more about
is The Witcher 4.
Like guys, it was not, what was it?
A few months ago where like CD Projekt Red came out
and said, hey guys, we are an active development
for the Witcher 4, we got a gameplay trailer.
Well, I guess it wasn't gameplay.
We got a trailer that was showing off, you know,
Witcher 4 stuff.
I mean, it's gonna depart from following Geralt
and it is going to focus on Ciri, which is awesome. Like honestly, I love that. I mean, it's gonna depart from following Geralt
and it is going to focus on Ciri, which is awesome.
Like honestly, I love that.
I mean, there are a lot of people that say,
hey, Ciri, if you think back about it,
Ciri is the main character of the Witcher series.
It's just, you know, Geralt's kind of the medium
that they used to tell that story.
I love Geralt, I think he's fantastic.
You know, so it's like,
I don't need it to be about Ciri or Geralt
But they have confirmed that they are moving away from telling the story of Geralt and it is now going to be about Ciri and her
Impact on the world and kind of her story and all that stuff and I'm for it man
But that's all we know. I
Mean we're supposed to get some more information
In fact, we're supposed to get some more information.
In fact, we're supposed to get this information
ahead of Summer's Game, Summer Games Fest.
And I mean, then maybe we get a little trailer,
like a little gameplay trailer.
Some games for us.
Please, let's just a little bit.
I'm stoked, man.
I especially, I'm just recording my little shorts about my top 10 list and
Which are threes on there?
I recorded that video and I was trying to pull gameplay and I instantly was like oh man
I want to play this again, but I know I shouldn't there's way too many games
But I'm like this game is just so dang good. I have you know a lot of faith in them that that four is gonna be fantastic
I just want to see more.
Yeah, like three is like one of the consensus best games of all time.
If they hit 80% of it, it's going to be amazing.
I mean, that's an interesting thought, right?
Because it's like, hey, this is the sequel to Witcher 3.
Witcher 3, one of the greatest games of all time.
Number one, one of the greatest rated games of all time. But number two, one of of the greatest games of all time. Number one, one of the greatest rated games of all time.
But number two, one of the highest selling games of all time.
I mean, this is this is what every studio absolutely hopes for.
But, you know, Witcher 4 comes out, hey, OK, we're all super excited.
Instantly, the world is going to be a buzz.
If it's 80 percent as good as Witcher 3.
Like, that's a win, man, like on on the one hand that is absolutely a win to say guys
If you give me 80% of one of the best games ever made
This is an absolute banger of a video game that the world will absolutely love and adore
But then you're gonna get the people
You know what I mean? And you're gonna get the people that are like this wasn't as good
This was a this was a step down from Witcher 3, you know?
And you've failed in increasing and raising the bar
and all that.
And it's like, is it a failure if it's like 80% as good
as one of the best games of all time?
Well, yeah, like how did you feel about Ragnarok?
I thought it was fantastic.
Not quite as good as 2018.
But still loved it.
Yeah, exactly. Exactly.
That's exactly, that's my same thought on it as well.
You know, I enjoyed it, had a fantastic time, liked the other one better,
but it didn't take anything away from that game.
Yeah, I think gamers just, we get a little overzealous sometimes
about what our expectations are.
And then when something doesn't meet those expectations, we kind of go, well,
let me point out this invisible barrier that exists on this planet.
Or let me point out the fact that you can't stab the shopkeeper in this one game,
but you can in this other game, you know, oh, this game's so inferior and stuff like that.
And it's like, guys, like, is it fun?
Are you having a good time?
Did you enjoy the experience?
Was it worth the money?
There's no gray zone in gaming, bro.
It's the best or the worst.
That's how it works.
And look, I could step back and I can say this is dumb,
but then I am just as guilty as everybody else.
You know what I mean?
Totally, totally.
I don't want anymore seven out of 10 games, man. Like, there's all these other eight, nine, and 10 games out there. Like, don't want anymore seven out of ten games man like
I there's all these other eight nine and ten games out there like don't get me
seven out of ten so it's like you know yes we're gamers we're just as guilty of
it even if we agree that it could be a little dumb sometimes man I mean which
or four I'm assuming we're all insanely excited for this game I just I would
love nothing more than to give me 30 seconds of gameplay, dude. Give me 10 seconds. Just let me see what the game
is going to look like. You know, like these curated trailers, these cinematic trailers,
these story trailers, they're all well and good, dude. But until I know what the game
looks like, I can't like wrap my head around it. You know, it's just a cartoon at that point.
It's like, oh, cool, this is a really neat visual thing,
but until I know what the game itself actually looks like,
it's just hard for me, so.
Yeah, agreed.
All right, so we are talking about games
that we're supposedly going to get some reveals on
or some announcements on.
I mean, there's a reason that we're talking about this.
We have said many times, Goldeneye back in the Nintendo 64 days,
if you grew up, if you're a slightly older gamer,
you understand what that game was for the world
and your friend group and all that stuff.
There's debate on whether Perfect Dark is better
than Goldeneye and all that stuff.
But one of the things that we have been clamoring for as gamers
is a new 007 game, you know, call it a remake of of GoldenEye.
If you want, I mean, let's be honest, everybody talks about the multiplayer.
GoldenEye's campaign was freaking fantastic.
Campaign was legit.
Super fun. The music, the difficulty, the story, the shooting, the guns,
I mean, every the stealth, like everything in that game was fantastic. So people for
a long time have been going, where's my Golden Eye remake? Right? Where's the sequel to Golden
Eye? That kind of thing. Now, I don't believe that this game is that, but we are supposed
to be getting a new 007 game,
if there was a studio that you felt could encapsulate
the feeling of what it's like to be like a 007
and to be this agent that sometimes has to sneak around
and be a dude that you do not want to mess with,
is there a studio or a game franchise
that you could think of that would kind of fit that feel?
Well, it's not what I think it would be.
I'll tell you that much.
I have the perfect one, and I know it
because I put the document together here.
Do you like how I led into that?
Yeah.
It's all in segue.
Yeah, I think if the developers of Hitman were to do it,
that seems like it- You don't say.
The Hitman devs making a 007 game?
Yeah, you literally just give him hair, Agent 47 hair,
and you have James Bond, more or less.
And a really good dapper British accent.
You know, some gadgets, some fun little gadgets.
Lone Martini. You know, the watch.
Shakin' nuts dirt. Give me an Aston Martin to drive around in. British accent, you know, some gadgets, some fun little gadgets, little martini, watch, shaking that shirt.
Give me an Aston Martin, you know, to drive around in.
Yeah, this is, this is not far out of their realm of being, being
doable here, but that is the point is that we are supposed to be
getting a new 007 game, uh, that is developed by the same devs
that made the hitman series.
Uh, it's going to be called first light.
That's kind of all we know.
Now, I don't know if you guys picked this out,
but in this news, it sounds like this is kind of the,
I don't want to say the origin story,
but I almost got that vibe that this is like,
you are, this is like the origin story for kind of 007.
Like you have to become, you know, a double O agent, for instance.
And I, dude, I freaking love origin stories, man.
Like, you know, Batman Begins is fantastic.
I loved Iron Man.
Like when we were in the heyday of Marvel, it's because like every
single Marvel movie showed you the origin of this hero and you're just like,
yes, man.
So.
I don't know.
But I kind of hope that's what it is at this point.
Plus first light.
Isn't that like a clue?
Probably so.
I don't know.
I hope so, if anything, because I'm the same thing.
I am a sucker for an origin story.
And if we can really go in there and maybe do qualifying missions,
or you have to do certain stuff, and it leads into the story of how you became the agent and where it all began you know
that would that would be a really cool way to spin what's otherwise normally
just kind of a regular campaign where you just go and shoot and kill stuff this
kind of would have some depth to it which I love yeah John's John's pondering
he's like I don't know well you're not man. I just want to be double oh seven. I
There's certain characters where I kind of just don't want a origin story like Judge Dredd for instance
Which it's criminal that there's not a game out there for Judge Dredd right now
Or at least not a recent one, but like I kind of don't want to know his origin story or the Joker
I don't want to know his origin story. Like I like that they are more
like forces of nature. 007, that's interesting. I will say that I don't think we've had a real
origin story, cinematically or anything from, so I could see that being interesting, but I'm on the
opposite end of the spectrum as you guys like, I am sick of origin stories for the most part. Like
every Spider-Man movie, we had like five different Spider-Man franchises
or franchises or at least four
and this origin story for every single one of them.
Get out of here, man.
I'm done with it.
Just show me Spidey swinging from webs,
throw some bad guys at him.
That's a good thing.
You gotta get connected, man.
You gotta know why.
You gotta know why he's there doing that.
That's why I love the origin.
For new characters or characters
that haven't had some version of it already,
yeah, I could see it for 007,
because again, I'm not aware of it.
I could see it being pretty interesting,
like seeing him kind of fumble around at the beginning
and like, man, how did he evolve into this thing?
I could see that, that's cool.
How he landed on martinis.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that'd be exciting.
I cannot, I'm not much of a drinker,
but I cannot stand a martini, dude.
Those are the most gross things in the world to me.
It's like, I might as well just be drinking rubbing alcohol
with an olive tossed in there, man.
Bro, give me a good root beer over
basically any alcohol.
And I'm happy. I don't, I don't know who-
Alcohol is fire for effect for me.
Yeah, I just don't know who came up with the like let's make this taste as much like alcohol as we can
Yeah, anyway, I put it in the worst glass possible. Yeah, the big tall that you can't sip out of me like miss spill
It is a weird glass
All right. Well another game now this one
I I'm actually really curious about because I have like,
I mean, let's be honest, like almost everybody is a fan of this series
when it was young and it was new and it was fresh.
And then it kind of faltered for a little while.
But then we kind of got like, honestly, one of the best remakes
we've seen in a really long time.
That is the Resident Evil series.
Like, I mean, you know, again, we're all older gamers.
We grew up playing Resident Evil 1, 2, 3, 4.
Like, then it kind of fell off.
Like, I'll be honest, I do not remember playing
Resident Evil 4, which I know is a crime
because the remake was fantastic.
We deep dove that like last year.
Oh yeah.
Incredible game.
Was up for game of the year nomination, right?
So we might be talking about,
should remasters qualify for that here
on an episode later this week
that we are quite excited about.
But let's put a pin in that.
Let's put a pin in that.
Okay. But so then,
but like I don't remember Resident Evil 5 or 6,
like at all.
Like I could not tell you what happened
with Resident Evil five or six.
Can either of you?
That's a good point.
Exactly, so the series kind of fell off,
but then they kind of changed the direction of it,
and they said, okay, well now we have biohazard,
which was Resident Evil seven.
Really, really freaky, they leaned into much more
of like the kind of psychological creepy horror
with this house and these,
these people and stuff like that. And then we got Resident Evil Village,
which was a fantastic game. Another one that was up for a game of the year.
Nomination week white liked village, man.
It has one of the best scenes in a horror game that will always stand out in my
memory with the crazy blob baby thing chasing you around. Um,
great game. I mean, fantastic.
So now we're getting the news that Resident Evil nine
possibly getting announced at the summer.
But this is from another well-known leaker.
I guess we need to call them insiders.
But, you know, another person that's like, hey, I know this franchise
and I know these people and I'm telling you right now,
they're going to announce Resident Evil nine. Be ready. If they continue
with what they've done with biohazard and village, like I'm all for this man. Like these
games just hit right for me. Yeah, I 100% agree. Go ahead, John. Well, horror is, is
probably like, I guarantee I'm a bigger horror fan
than either of you guys.
I have some of my most favorite gaming memories
from the Resident Evil franchise,
literally just sitting in the dark with a couple of friends
watching it like a horror movie sort of unfold.
I love them.
I'll be honest, I fell off after four.
I've touched and dabbled and stuff.
I, you know, even just talking about it, I'm kind of like getting hyped for it.
You know, like I, like I bet I could go back and have fun with all of those games.
Even the less good ones.
I, you know, I'm, I'm stoked.
I'd love to see a current gen.
Resident Evil done really well.
Yeah, absolutely.
I'm not, you know, the biggest, uh, Resident Evil fanboy or whatever, or whatever, but I loved 4. It's an awesome, awesome game. Remake was fantastic.
Since then, the only one I played was 7, I think it was.
That's the Farhouse one.
Yeah, so I played that in VR, which was nuts. It was unreal. It was actually a really cool experience But a funny thing with that too is there my buddy told me if you get the circular saw and you just bobbed your head
Up and down like this you just kill everything and nothing can touch you. So we were just doing that a whole game
It was ridiculous. But anyways, I mean I
It's it's weird because after four you don't really remember any of the games like they're forgettable, but they seem to do pretty well
I mean five sold 15 million six sold 13.8
million and seven sold 14 million eight sold 10 million so people are still
buying them you know they're still selling copies but strength of the name
alone I think so I'd be interested to see what they would do with nine like
where are they gonna to take it?
How are they going to make this maybe a little different than what we've played over and over?
I mean, it's the ninth game in a series. You gotta do something.
Yeah, rumor is this will focus on Leon Kennedy,
which I think is a lot of people's kind of favorite lead for the Resident Evil series.
You know, I joked about like seven out of ten games, they're a dime a dozen,
and do you really want to play a seven out of ten if you could play these eight nine or ten?
Games but to me like these last few resident evils are like they're all eight out of tens
Which puts them a slight bit above like I know I'm going to have a good time at the end of the year
Am I gonna look back and be like game of the year winner man game of the year winner like oh, yeah
Like, you know, absolutely like planning my flag on this like usually no resonating before the the remake was the exception in that case because
that was just so well done um but they're just all around good entertaining games they're well done
they're visually great their gameplay they're great you know i mean i i get excited for this
one just because i think with what we've seen recently
that this, it's been enough to get me excited to say,
cool, where's the franchise going?
How are you gonna iterate on this?
You know, where are you gonna go with it?
And, you know, and that kind of thing too.
So, all right guys, you know, we have been talking
about Xbox Game Pass
an awful lot.
Oh yeah.
You're muted, John.
I was practicing my ventriloquism.
Yeah, there you go.
There you go.
So Xbox, we've been talking about Xbox Game Pass a lot.
People in our Discord community,
it's funny to me because people are kind of discovering this. Like, they you know, like they'll reach out and they'll say, Hey, you
know, how do you guys feel about game pass? And now it's like, everybody's like, dude,
absolutely worth it. You should pick it up. People ask questions. Like it honestly really
is man. Like if you asked me that a year ago, I'd have been like, I mean, they have a couple
good games and for the dollar sign up, you can get some stuff. But now it's like,
they just keep putting out more and more good games and a game that I know we
are super excited about. We've been talking about for a long time.
It releases in a week, a little over a week. It releases on June 13th and that is a game called the alters here.
Here we were.
I'm just going to buy the Alters, man.
I'm hyped for this game.
The demo was incredible.
I'm just going to buy it.
And then we get the news.
Hey, guys, guess what game is coming out day one on Game Pass.
And it's just like, are you kidding me, dude?
Like, really?
This is freaking fantastic, man.
So we're getting the Alters.
John, you mentioned because you are a huge fan
of Warhammer, that we're getting a remaster of Space Marine.
Now this is not something I'm familiar with.
Oh my gosh.
And so like-
I'm so excited.
Oh, well, okay, yeah.
Like Space Marine 2 is beloved
and they blew it out of the water.
But for me, as somebody who grew up with the tail,
I've been in the Warhammer But for, for me, as somebody who grew up with the tail, I've been in the world,
Warhammer world for 30 something years, man.
I mean, it is like my primary IP.
I love it.
The first space Marine game, totally underrated, super, super fun.
It is for sure a gears of war clone.
Uh, but for me, somebody who grew up with it, just seeing it all fleshed out was
amazing. And if they they're able to remaster it, it's like the, the enemies in it are the orcs
and they're like my favorite faction outside of the, you know, starties in it. Dude, I, I'm,
I'm stoked to see this. I'm super stoked to see this the fact that it's just included in my game pass
So I could check it out with no risk. Ah my gosh what what a deal, you know
Yeah, it's kind of like spoiled me a little bit like now anytime like a new game is coming out and I have to buy it
I'm like
By this tastes like poison
Yeah, dude, the Game Pass has been so awesome.
Every time I see a game pop up on there,
we're like, oh, that's on there?
Oh, day one?
What?
That's a big title.
I had it just for PC for when Microsoft games would come out
or whatever, or Xbox and whatnot.
And it was awesome.
Just the PC version. And then I upgraded, and my daughter has the And it was awesome. Just the PC version.
And then I upgraded and my daughter has the Xbox in her room
and she comes out one day and goes,
dad, what'd you do?
There's all these games I can download now.
I was like, I know it's cool, huh?
Yeah, exactly.
She's like, I'm downloading this and this.
I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on, hold on.
Let me teach you about data limits.
Yeah, come on, this is only hold so much, like 500 gigs.
Yeah, this is one of those things we absolutely love to see it.
I mean, we have said Xbox feels, you know, it seems like they've found like their niche
in the gaming world and they are absolutely delivering on this.
So again, I am super pumped because we have been touting the alters for a long time.
So good.
And now people that were like on the fence are like,
hey, I'm gonna wait to hear, you know,
y'all's deep dive on it or something like that.
You have no risk, man.
You can try it with us and you know,
and then we'll do the deep dive on it
and you'll know what we're talking about.
And it's just, it's really exciting.
So I know I'm excited for that as well.
And they just keep knocking out of the park, man.
So way to go Xbox game pass, making games. Try it just keep knocking out of the park, man. So way to go, Xbox Game Pass, making games accessible.
Try it out, try it.
25 bucks for Ultimate.
I can't think of a better time.
You can get PC, you can get the PC version
for I think it's like 15.99 or something.
If that, it may be like, but it's like,
even then that's an absolute steal, dude.
I think it's like 12 or 15 bucks or something like that.
The hundreds of dollars that we have saved by using Game pass. I mean, I don't even want to like, I can't
name all the games, but just off the top of my head, Expedition 33, uh, uh, blueprints
doom. And that's in what the last month? Yeah. Like oblivion. Oh yeah. Oblivion remastered.
There you go. I mean, it just keeps getting better and better. So I don't, I don't want
to just keep praising game pass, you know
But yes
If you are on the fence for it like a lot of the people in our community have been it is absolutely worth it
And I love that we're getting the alters with that next week. So alright guys, we are out of time for this episode
Man we have we have some, really fun content coming up, man.
