🎵 Greetings, travelers, on this bright and crisp morning here in December at Disneyland, California. I am your old friend here, Rick, calling you in from the West Coast. And enjoy this, because this is not something I do often. I'm here at the park for Rope Drop. I honestly am not sure if I've ever actually been here for rope drop before. It is currently 7.53. I'm making my way underneath the train tunnel.

And on the way here down Main Street to the rope. Coming here past the Market House and the long line outside Starbucks, as always. And the long line outside of Carnation Cafe for the breakfast reservations. Wow. The line for gingerbread is insane. We'll see if we can get lucky for some of that a little bit later on. Anytime I'm just going to make my way as far forward as I can towards that Adventureland entrance.

We got up at 5.30. I'm sure you heard that passerby. You have to get up early to get here in time for the road drop. I was up around 6 this morning. Thankfully we live pretty close by. Season's greetings everyone. Good morning and welcome to the merriest place on earth. We're happy to have you as our guest today, and especially glad you could join us during this holiday season.

You may be able to tell from the murmur we are on our way. right The Disney parks certainly know how to give you those magic moments, even in crowds of chaos. Going through the Adventureland gate at this point. And turning that corner past the bazaar. Adventure attraction display! Ah! A bunch of people cutting through the bazaar trying to avoid the crowd.

I don't expect an insane crowd for the treehouse at this hour. So I'm going to take it easy. I'm going to do a slow walk here through Adventureland. Got Jungle Cruise here on the left. And of course, the favorite for many, but not myself, Pickle Stand. Coming up here on Bengal BBQ and the massive crowd for Indiana Jones where everyone has run to. That is already up to a 30 minute wait. The park's been open for less than a minute. And now I am walking up on the tree house here and I see no one at all here.

Since there's no crowd at all, I'm just going to let you enjoy the sounds of the water wheel. Wall free. Nothing like a little bit of waterfall to relax the world. It's open? And it looks like I'm the only one doing the treehouse. Thank you. I have to say, I'm so excited for the new treehouse. Something that I have missed. I was never a particularly big fan of the Tarzan version. Oh, look at that. There's Jane, our ostrich, over here at Father's Kitchen. Oh, she just took a duck on me. Even for an ostrich, sometimes they duck. Oh, there she is. Such beautiful artwork around here at the base. Clearly one of the family members is quite the artist. I'm going to turn that corner to head up the stairs to the top of the tree.

And I'm just going to try to be quiet unless there's something that really feels like it deserves description. Terima kasih telah menonton We've reached Mother's Musical Parlor. The The organ is powered by the water wheel from below. Oh, this beautiful little sitting room here in the Muse of Carla. Bay windows with a bench seat. Wonderful protected alcove where you can see across the rivers of America all the way to Galaxy's Edge. As a matter of fact, the bowsprit of the ship is pointing directly at the Black Spires. And there's our SEA flag. Oh, I missed this tree. daughter loves the stars and it's very obvious from her room She even has a little skylight in her ceiling to let her telescope see out. There is a warning here as they come up to the very top of the tree for fire ants. So I'm gonna keep my wits about because I am not much of a fan of ants. Every time we turn a corner, there's just another spectacular view of the western side

of Disneyland. There's also some really great views of the construction over at the new Splash Mountain, Tiana's. I think this place was absolutely packed with lines around the corner just about two weeks ago. And on this walk, of course, it is rope drop and everyone's running off to the big attractions, but I've only seen two other people on the street.

And I'll begin my descent all the way back down to the kitchen, my father's play space. Now we're directly over the water source that runs the water wheel. Thank you. I hope you enjoyed that water feature interlude. You know, as all of you know who follow us on our Instagram, I am quite the fan of the water feature and try to drop those every Wednesday for you. Some actual physical proof here I'm dropping on a video. You can see that the bamboo pulley system for water actually is physically carrying water. Well, I hope you enjoyed this little tour of the Adventureland Treehouse,

inspired by Swiss Family Robinson. I certainly loved the tour. I'll have to tell you, my first thought was, we haven't done the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh together yet, and we may still head that way, because I do have some time. But walking over the bridge here at Pirates, I can see that it's literally walk-on for Pirates. So I think we might just go a little yo-ho-ing. I don't know if we have the time for this it's a whopping 5 minute wait to get on Pirates of the Caribbean

do you say Caribbean or do you say Caribbean I'm curious for all of you out there I know for me out here it has always been Caribbean and I find it interesting because if I'm describing the physical location

and I'm just talking about one of the islands, I'm always going to say Caribbean. But this ride has always been the Caribbean. I'll give you some perspective on the soundscape. You can hear in the background, I think, the treehouse. It's literally right next door. It's the pirates. It's been a long time since I've been here and done the full-blown solo rider thing. I don't know. I don't know.

Quite literally, it is walk-on. I might have my own kind of boat. And they need to wait for them to find something. Oops, a bachelor. It be too late to all the coarse meetings. And there be plundering pirates lurking in every cove. Wait and board. Sit closer together and keep your ready hands inboard. That'd be the best way
