Well, hello there, traveler. Welcome back to Walk About the World, your weekly audio expedition through one of the parks or resorts of Walt Disney World here in Orlando, Florida. And as you can probably guess, today we are in Disney's Magic Kingdom. I'm setting the bar super high or low, as it may be, for our ambitious goal of being the least ambitious podcast you've ever heard. Because today we're only going to spend time just vibing, just chilling around the castle hub. And so right now, we are off to the castle's right.

Castle is weirdly to our right. I guess that's how geometry works. But the castle's ahead of us and to our right. And this is an evening expedition, as many of our expeditions are. And currently, we are just past dusk. It's not quite deep dark, but it's pretty close, and the castle is now lit up blue, pink, window at the top golden,

and all we're going to do, I'm not going to talk a whole lot. It's been a long day. Has it been a long day for you? Maybe it has. Wherever you are, let been a long day for you? maybe it has wherever you are let's hope your day was a decent one and we're just going to walk around together around the castle hub and then we're going to end

I think by just setting down you and I are just going to set down and just enjoy the vibes and the ambience and the crowd noise and the soothing sounds of little children screaming as they gently melt down after a full day in the park. I mean, the parents may be melting down too, but we'll hear it all. And so if you're ready, let's go take a nice slow stroll around the castle hall.

Here we go. Less talk, more walk. Not you, me. Wherever you are when you see dogs, do you stop and admire the dogs? Because if you don't, you probably should. We just see a couple of service doggies over here. They're super cute. Oh, I see you. Oh, I see you. Hold on. It's nice to be seen.

Did I say that out loud? We are right in front of the statue now. Statue right in front of us. Castle behind. It's comfortably crowded, I would say. It's not packed. But it looks great. Nice and cool.

Let's keep strolling lots of picture taking happening which I can't blame them a bit for excuse me see I told you I know these things ah the sounds of the parks poor little one I told you. I know these things. Ah, the sounds of the parks.

Poor little one. I'm not really making fun. I totally get it. We're not liking pictures being taken right now. Hi. See, you didn't intend to do this just now, but you and I just photobombed the heck out of somebody taking a great selfie. Somewhere on social media will be a middle-aged bald guy and you, dear listener, in the shape of a fuzzy microphone in somebody's castle selfie. So we did good. That's what we came here to do.

Walk About the World, ruining castle selfies since 2021 i don't know what we just did but i'm proud of us oh someone just proposed okay congrats Congrats. Congrats. Standing on the railroad tracks. Tomorrowland to our right. Main Street. Further to our right, completely lit up all the lights on the buildings around Main Street super nice to be here in this evening

did I say in this evening? yes I did because it's late also TMI but I just consumed an incredibly good corn dog and that's causing me to

be a little slower moving than I would have been otherwise less nimble after the corn dog experience no damage taken so I'll tell you what we're going to do now is I'm going to be quiet

stop clapping like no need to get carried away here I'm going to stop talking we're going to sit down and just give you several long minutes of Castle Hub vibes we're going to go off to the side because

a lot of stuff going on over here but we're going to go off to the side because a lot of stuff going on over here. But we're going to go off to the side, sit down.
