Starting point is 00:01:02 Well, welcome back travelers to another edition of Walk About the World. I am your host today, Pete, aka Neverland Local. And today, I didn't think there was any other park to be at than Disney's Animal Kingdom. So today at Animal Kingdom, I think we're going to do a walkabout starting in Africa, handing over to Pandora, and just seeing what we can hear. So not a whole lot of commentary from me. I want the park to put a smile on your face and a smile on your ears, if that's possible. So here we go. Animal Kingdom, Africa to Pandora.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Here we go. And for wayfinding purposes, I am starting right next to the grill that they grill corn on. I don't know if you know. I can't think of the name of it right now, but we're between that and Zawani traders, I believe. with the Kilimanjara Safari to our right. So here we go. And those were the Tam-Tam drummers, street drummers of Harambe. All right, so we made a quick right here, headed towards the Festival of the Lion King.
Starting point is 00:05:52 A lot less crowded area. And so we have made it to the... the Club 33 on our right-hand side and the restrooms on the left with the hilarious sign that says please enjoy our beautiful restrooms. You can't not take a photo of this bathroom sign. Sorry for the squeaky shoes, we are on the bridge from Africa to Pandora. So Africa to Pandora and notice when the noises really change. You can tell where we're at by what you hear. We changed over from the bridge in Africa to Pandora.
Starting point is 00:12:49 It's a very distinct noise, but here we are in Pandora, the village of Moara. Traversing through the floating mountains currently, we'll snap a photo of this because you can never have too many photos of them. Just now passing Navi River journey and the drum, the end. interactive drum section, always a hit. We've made it to the bridge that goes to Tiffins from Pandora, and you could see again, or hear
Starting point is 00:19:28 again, the distinct change in music and vibe, actually, from where we were to where we're going. What did you think of that walk about? Africa to Pandora, back to Africa again. Just the
Starting point is 00:21:01 differences in the music, the vibe, the feel. I also feel like the volume of people when they're, um, just when they're talking and speaking, I feel like maybe it's, maybe it's on accident, maybe it's on purpose,
Starting point is 00:21:15 I don't know, but you can, you can hear people better in certain areas and not, and I don't know if it's because of the louder music, the quieter music, the vibe of itself, um, all of that.
Starting point is 00:21:26 So, hey, thanks again for joining me today on this walkabout. From Africa to Pandora, back to Africa again. I appreciate you listening to the podcast and enjoying what we have to bring you, whether it's Disneyland, Disney World, and everywhere in between. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 00:22:24 And as Jeremy likes to say, there's a great big, beautiful tomorrow, and we hope that we will see you again in one of those tomorrows. Thanks, guys. Take care.
