The Oh, yeah. Well, good morning and welcome to another edition of Walk About the World.
Today, if you heard on the intro here, I am at Hollywood Studios
taking in some holiday sounds and sights for your ears.
Over the last five, six, seven years,
Hollywood Studios has become more and more popular around the holidays for their kitschy decorations and
Christmas songs. And I wanted to bring some of that to you. So let's walk
around Hollywood Studios and see what we can hear.
Walking in the front gate, walked right down Hollywood Boulevard. I'm going to left
and now I am by the
Kitchy Poodles
right in front of Echo Lake.
Let's take a walk around Echo Lake.
I'll make sure to share some photos
in the post
so that you are able to see
what I see
while hearing
what I hear.
Let's go. walking over here to echo lake christmas tree directly in front of me the ss down the hatch
to my right beautiful gertie with her christ Christmas hat and a yellow ornament out of her mouth.
Probably one of the most photogenic opportunities in the evening here at Hollywood Studios.
It is a beautiful day today
nary a cloud in the sky
let's continue Thank you. Dinosaur Gertie's Ice Cream of Extinction here to our right.
Indiana Jones off to the attractions.
The park just opened not long ago. As we head towards Muppet Courtyard,
towards, we're not there yet, but
we got vacation fun on our right-hand side.
Long live Potato Land. And one of the few things still here from old MGM Studios
is the Backlot Express restaurant here to our left.
Food's good, atmosphere is better. Yeah. I agree.
Yeah.
Oh, wow.
Somebody's going on there?
Let's take it out.
Get up.
Get up. Get up.
Get up.

Tatooine gift shop as well.
Heading down here we straight ahead we have uh my buddy norm disney's favorite
location here at studios right norm baseline tap house

We're going to hang a left into Muppet Courtyard.
It's a grand park. We have Miss Liberty directly in front of us, this fountain.
I'm going to miss this fountain.
We've got Muppet Vision 3D here on our right-hand side.
Last call, last call.
And Pizza Rizzo here on our left. Thank you. We're going to go over here to the side.
We're going to go down. so so the muppet stage one company store hasn't reopened
but they are utilizing it for jollywood so you're able to look inside man i missed that store too right here we have mama melrose
italian restaurant on the right hand side and straight ahead we have it's a wonderful shop
the christmas store again has not reopened but they're using it for joollywood.
It's a Wonderful Shop also has meet and greet with Santa Claus.
So you can meet
Santa Claus there.
It will be interesting to see the turnaround that Pizzarizzo makes into whatever the new restaurant it will become.
Curious to see what happens with it. Completing the loop around Muppet Courtyard,
we have the Royal Flush on our right-hand side.
Gonzo's Royal Flush.
We all know what that is, right?
Alright, leaving Grand Avenue,
we're going to head down what I like to refer as
Commissary Row.
We're going to head that way.
See what we can hear.
That came way before this. As we head here down Commissary Row,
we have one of my favorite restaurants on property,
the Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant.
If you haven't been,
gotta go at least once.
The experience alone is amazing.
We got Mickey and Minnie's Red Carpet Dreams.
Meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie on our right.
And
the best
quick service restaurant in Hollywood Studios, the ABC Commissary.
Mostly I say that because they have steak fries.
Steak fries rule. You know? Kamsuri Row is just kind of a cut-through from Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway
over to Star Tours, Baseline, Muppets, things like that.
Kind of a cut across. All righty.
Popping out here.
Outside of Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway.
I can never say that. It's a mouthful.
And it looks like Max Powerline is with a band,
and they are performing a wipeout dance out here.
Let's go see what we can hear.
Alright, here we go. One, two, one. Here we go. Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go. Here we go. Here we go. Here we go. Here we go. Música All right, so I'm not going to lie.
Adding a little bit of a band and some entertainment to Hollywood Studios.
Pretty, what a great idea.
I don't know who thought of it, but great idea.
It's great to have a little horn here
in the parks.
Heading across
over to
towards the Hollywood Brown Derby.
More Christmas decorations.
Make sure we snap some of those for you.
It's got such a chill vibe today in the parks.
I don't know if it's just because it's early or what,
but it just seems like everybody is hanging out.
Alright, let's go over here to Sunset Boulevard. All right.
Let's go over here to Sunset Boulevard.
Oh, bitch.
She's so pretty.
We got Sunset Boulevard.
All the light posts have
garland stars on them,
lining both sides, leading to Her Majesty, the Hollywood Tower Hotel. I can't describe it. I can't describe it. I can't describe it.
I can't describe it.
I can't describe it.
I can't describe it.
I can't describe it.
I can't describe it.
I can't describe it.
I can't describe it.
I can't describe it.
I can't describe it.
I can't describe it. I can't describe it. So this area at night is beautiful, right?
Everything lit up and tower lit up and projection show, but there's something
about walking down sunset during the shirt. All right.
The Sunset Boulevard caricatures trolley is to our left.
Theater of the Stars with Beauty and the Beast is to our right.
And I'm walking straight down the middle of Sunset Boulevard.
Who's up for an ice cream cone here at Hollywood Scoops?
I sure am.
Anyone care to drop in?
Looks like it's about a 35 minute wait.
Not terrible right now. Hanging a left here.
Gonna go down
to the sunset.
Sunset showcase.
Walking underneath
the rock and roller coaster
presented by G-Force Records.
Let's see if they have some
Christmas rock music playing.
I imagine so.
Sure do.
Let's take a photo of this big
guitar.
Pretzel Palooza.
What do we think?
Pretzels are good.
Cheddar pretzel right about now.
When we stopped at the end, she came and said, I'm going to eat this.
I'm going to eat this.
I'm going to eat this.
I'm going to eat this.
I'm going to eat this.
I'm going to eat this. I'm going to eat this. um Rock your face.
Face spinning here to the right. So I want to say that one thing that I really enjoy about the parks,
and it's evident today, is that whereas the parks are unbelievably magical in the evening,
twinkling lights, you know, whether it's Christmas time, Halloween time,
decorations, all that stuff, but the parks are equally as beautiful during the day as they are at night.
And Hollywood Studios is showing out right now. It's just decorated so well,
and it just puts you in the mood, puts you in the spirit.
It's just beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful.
You almost don't even realize there's a million people at the park with you right now.
No, it's great. It really is great.
Cool weather in the air.
Sun shining.
Can't really complain about a whole lot right now See, like right here, little inlet right here, we got Donald Duck doing a little meet and
greet.
Donald Duck's got his little Christmas scarf on.
Hailey, this way.
I love this. I love the idea of them putting more characters out.
Little meet and greets, kind of impromptu, if you will,
throughout the park, as opposed to being super designated.
It's awesome. Starbucks on our left-hand side.
You know where we're at.
We're at the cross of Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard.
It's next to one of Jeremy's favorite fountains right here,
on the right-hand side.
I'll snap a quick photo of that for you. But yeah, there's nothing that beats walking
right into Hollywood Studios, Hollywood Boulevard.
Seeing all the decorations.
