Welcome back to Walk About The World and hello travelers from, yeah you know, Disney Springs.
We don't visit here often enough, but we love it here.
Currently standing on the boardwalk overlooking the beautiful Aquamarine Springs.
Across from us is Morimoto and the Springs Bottling Company.
To our left is Deluxe Burger.
To our right is Fronterra Cucina.
And off on the corner is Raglan Road.
I don't know what we're going to get into, but I thought we would just do what we do. Do a walk
about, soak in some of the spring's atmosphere. I will tell you it is a glorious spring day here
in Central Florida. I know it's, I'm not sure it's actually spring on the calendar,
but it's full spring here.
Pollen gently wafting through the air,
coating everything yellow,
making everybody sneeze and cough constantly.
But, I mean, that is true.
But honestly, it is beautiful.
It's about 75 degrees.
The springs here look gorgeous.
The trees, what few trees lose their leaves here, are all coming back to life.
Hardly a cloud in the sky.
Sun feels warm. There's a slight breeze in the air.
The crowd is kind of bustling already.
And let's go explore shall we There are so many places to dine here.
It is astounding.
And we have lived down here in Central Florida for a great many years
and here in Orlando for about three
and still haven't even touched many of the places here that you can grab some food.
Like, I'm looking over here at Deluxe.
I can't believe it.
We've never been to Deluxe Burger.
That needs to be remedied.
Right next to it, let's just talk a little bit about what we see as we're walking around here today.
But we have been several times to Chef Art's Homecoming, and I could not recommend it more.
The food is always good, but what really makes it is the service.
Like, I have never had anything but stellar service there.
And as you know, my wife is in a mobility device when we're at the springs or at the parks.
And they treat us like royalty make us feel welcome and make sure
we have a great place to sit and have a great time couldn't recommend it more and actually i
think one of the best bars in all of disney property the drinks are incredible and they are
balanced it's not just a cup of sugar in many cases.
I've never been to Morimoto.
Looking right at it.
Let's wander over towards Raglan Road, which is gearing up for St. Paddy's Day celebration.
I have been there.
It is our favorite.
It is our favorite place in the springs to eat.
And I think we'll just poke in there a minute.
I have no idea what the audio will be like, but we'll just pop in the shop and in the
dining room area there and just do a quick walk in and out. Let's go.
Passing Alex and Annie's, Francesca's, the Rustic Cuff.
I don't know what that is. Is that new?
And off to the right, L'Occitane.
Am I saying that right?
We always buy stuff from there.
Smells good in there.
Passing by Sprinkles and
headed across the bridge to Raglan Road.
Here we go.
Nearly got ran over by a fellow
traveler back there.
The food smells, guys The food smells
Alright, we're heading into Raglan Road area
You'll see the sound change
Well, you won't see it, you'll hear the sound change Thanks. I'm going to try it.
Yeah, eat it all.
That's for you. so
all right Okay, there's a little bit of raglan.
No live music.
We must have caught them between sets.
But I was walking by and
I don't know if you ever had it, but
the fish and chips.
I walked by somebody who was having fish and chips.
I could smell the fish and the vinegar.
Oh my goodness.
No, I didn't reach over in gravity.
I didn't think about it.
Passing by Cooks of Dublin now.
Which is the connected quick service also
delicious I can't resist a water feature.
I mean, come on.
So where are we?
We've turned the corner past Cooks of Dublin.
I'm looking at T-Rex to my right, the giant paddlefish boat right in front of me.
By the way, I haven't done either one of those.
Now, T-Rex I probably will never eat because it's, yeah, food's terrible.
And I like dinos, but I don't really want to eat there bad enough.
I would like to try a paddlefish.
But also, here's a water fountain. Thank you for watching! Right next to us is Terralina Crafted Italian, which we've been a few times and we actually love it.
Passing the famous Florida Citrus Orange Bird wall to the left.
Coming up towards the boathouse. right across from Chapel Hatch you can see what I think Josh calls a ghost sign on the wall where it looks like this is something a sign for a business that
used to be here and it says Springs brand mineral mineral waters
just Disney doing a little bit of layering of history their boathouse in
front of us should we we wander in? I mean, why not? I'm going to be a star star of your week
I'm going to be a star
star of your week
I'm going to be a star

I'm going to be a star
star of your week I'm going to be a star Yeah, a little bit of boathouse.
Walked around the oyster bar and out to the outside ramp area.
And here we go.
We are about to see with our
ears the launch of an Amphicar. Let's see if we can hear anything.
And off they go. And here we are at Jock Lindsay's Hangar Bar,
which is an ode to Indiana Jones
and his famous pilot from Raiders of the Lost Ark,
one of my favorite places on the planet.
And until recently, I actually ran the Jock Lindsay's Hangar Bar Insta account
before handing it off to a friend.
All right, we're passing Gideon's on the left.
My family has done this.
I still haven't yet.
I know.
Don't make fun of me.
I will.
But I do go to the east end of the location more often because it's just easier.
Let's head over towards the west side, passing Savannah Bee Company in the Ganachery and Paradiso 37.
Been to Paradiso several times, but not lately. Edison on your right
STK to your left
Maria and Inzos

Alright, passing by the huge Disney AMC 24 theater on your left.
Blue carpet still up and posters up for quantumania The Always some live music going over here at Splitsville.
Right ahead of us is Jaleo by Jose Andres.
I've never been in here either, but I do follow him on Instagram.
And if you don't, you should.
He's one of the best humans on the planet.
Let's pop into Splitsville for I Know Not What. I'm going to go with the same one. I'm going to go with the same one. I'm going to go with the same one. I'm going to go with the same one.

hungry like a wolf. I kind of am.
I haven't been bowling in I don't even know how many years,
but man, that looked like fun.
And I have eaten there before, and the food was kind of great. turned right past Disney style heading around towards Planet Hollywood and the Coke store but there's another water feature to be had so let's let's have it Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill to your right and to the left is Chicken Guy,
home of the donkey sauce.
I'm not even going to say anything more about that.
I know, people love the chicken guy.
I haven't been.
I like chicken nuggets and stuff, so I should shut up.
I don't think I could order anything called donkey sauce, though.
Alright, let's poke in.
I don't know what you call this.
The big mall-like area?
With Columbia, Tommy Bahama,
Johnston, Murphy,
everything, Water, Sugar Boo, Veer, Bradley, Sparrow, you name it. Here we have Shore and Stance and Super Dry and Love Pop and Ron John and Uno De Fifty and Ever After and Fabletics and Kendra Scott.
And a water feature.
Alright, we've made it back to the Lime Garage.
And if you're saying to yourself, Jeremy, surely you're not going to wind up here and not record anything from Marketplace.
Ha!
No, I will not wind up here.
We have to go to Marketplace.
Let's go there right now.
Passing by the Polite Pig right now and all of its porcine
goodness. Smells utterly
delicious. Harley Davidson,

water feature All right, welcome to Marketplace.
Don't you love that ambience?
If you've been coming here for a while, like decades,
this takes me right back to like our 2000 trip.
I'm glad to keep some audio around from the old days, unlike Epcot.
But I'm not bitter.
All right, let's see what
it's bad It's that. Ghirardelli to the right.
Please tell me I'm saying that right, Rick.
Dockside margaritas to your left
if you want to get your margarita on.
And I know you do.
I prefer the kava for that, but if you're in dire need...
What do we have over here? Are we in for a treat?
Hang on. Guys, we hit the jackpot.
We hit the jackpot.

Did I just choke up listening to Nani Gepashi?
Maybe, yes. Yes, I did.
Borodica used to play daily in the Harambe Pavilion of Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Probably the best musical act
that has ever been in Disney's theme parks.
I miss them dearly.
If you haven't heard the interview
that the guys at Radio Harambe
did, Dave and Safari Mike,
with Nadi, you definitely should. Amazing guy.

There's a couple of show notes that I need to give you that I want you to hear because it's fun.
First of which is, okay, the last two weeks have been a lot.
This is not the point but there's been home renovation
and coronavirus floating around and possibly more than one host homes and uh we're all we're all
good we're all fine here now how are you but it's been a lot because of that we missed a show last
sunday and um it's not a big deal like it's not a big deal, but I wanted to segue
into another thing we've missed, and then come back to that, is that as of March 2,
Walk About the World is two years old, and I find that hard to believe, but I'm very thankful,
and I want to celebrate that. I'm sorry I missed it. We will post something on Insta.
We're late. As a matter of fact, I think we were late last year.
So, two years. And first off, I just want to say thank you to those of you that listen to us weekly or even occasionally and have been along on the ride with us for two years.
You guys mean a lot to us. Many of you have become friends we've never met.
And we just really appreciate you.
And also wanted to take just a moment to say thank you.
The team works really hard.
And they have great attitudes.
And I just love them to death.
And thank you guys for all that you do.
Secondly, and lastly, I want to read some reviews.
We've asked you guys to take a minute and give us a rating and a review wherever you listen.
And many of you have stepped up to the plate, and I want to acknowledge you for that.
As one of our younger travelers screams in the distance, that's how it worked here.
But let's start here.
Morty1986 says,
Headphones are a must.
