Oh, once again, greetings travelers. This is your intrepid West Coast reporter, Rick, here on Halloween time here at Disneyland. And we're just about to enter the gate. I want to give you a little taste of the park. We're going to do a little bit of a wander down Main Street. Probably hit some shops. And the main goal for today, because it is exceedingly hot. And we're not going to do a ton today.

But we are going to definitely be hitting the nightmare version of Haunted Mansion. Have a good day. Say hi, Graydon. Look at the new artificial. although it's actually not too bad over here. Have a good day. Stay hydrated. Look at the new artificial. They put an astroturf here at the front. Floral arrangement here in front of the train station. And so the grass is all fake now to reduce water usage, but the flowers and the Mickey head itself is still real.

I think we're going to stop and get a little photo here, because now that we have renewed our keys, they include photos. So we can get the photos for free. I'll let you enjoy a little bit more of the beautiful background sounds here at the entry plaza. It burns your hands. It's not meant to be walked on. I don't know if there's anything that quite matches the magic of hearing the train

as you enter the happiest place on earth. Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy. I really feel for the poor unfortunate souls that are working on the left side of Main Street today. At least over here on the right, things are nice and cool. We have our new holiday shop here. We're popping in real quick, just always hunting. We discovered on a previous visit that the anniversary ornaments specifically for brave actually has the wrong year on it for the anniversary

they have an Oswald ornament that's the 95 years oh wow that's really cool they still don't have Merida. Still no Merida? They found the problem and pulled them off the shelf, huh? I know. You see the jack, Eliza? Look at all these great nightmare ornaments. Yeah, from Rescuers.

Rescuers, thank you. I was like, I know it. Oh, it's our haunted mansion. Yeah. There's now an ornament for our haunted mansion. Quite impressive. It has the ballroom and you have the top. You have the attic.

Yeah. You can see inside it. You can see inside on the back side. And what was in there again? It's, I think the ball, no. It's the attic? So it's the portraits in the hallway, and then it's the attic space. Is that the graveyard? No.

No, it is the attic, yeah. This is the attic, and then... I saw the, I thought it was a stack of pumpkins. No, that's the snake. It's holiday haunted. That's really cool that it's the holiday version, too. Enjoying a wonderful little day here on Main Street. Getting a little ragtime piano as we sit down to have some lunch while we wait for our turn for Haunted Mansion.
