Hello Travelers!  On today’s Walkabout, join cohost Ric and his daughter Eliza at Disneyland. We begin at the entrance to Disneyland Park where you’ll be treated to the sound of turnstiles! Yes, turnstiles! Something we no longer have the pleasure of hearing on the east coast. From there we’ll board Main Street Transportation to the hub and take a left to Adventureland where you’ll hear the entirety of the newly refurbished Indiana Jones Adventure. Then take a walk over to Critter Country where you’ll hear some highlights from the original Splash Mountain (missing a few sections because one of the drops turned the mic off 😱 They joys of recording live in the parks, folks!)   As always, use good listening devices as we always record in 4 channel surround sound. Greetings, travelers! It's your old friend here, Rick, entering Disneyland on this very foggy morning here with my daughter. Overnight, it became the most foggy thing for the most sunny day yesterday. It's still supposed to be about 80 degrees today, fairly warm for this time of year, but it's starting off a little on the crisp side, huh? I felt like I had to start with this music for you guys, of course, because it's always a great big beautiful day here on Walk About the World. And we're going through the Entry Plaza. Going to be in the park for just a couple hours today. We have no real plans.

We're just going to see where the day takes us. And I think we had initially been thinking Splash Mountain because we don't have much more time before it's gone. And that might still happen, but maybe not the first ride with the way the weather is at the moment. Everyone has a line over here. Everyone is in line here at Disneyland side. Tree house is is partially exposed now. And Eliza's got to go visit her little man. If you don't know the story of the little man, there was books written about a little leprechaun that lives in Disneyland. And they dress his house up seasonally. There's nothing on him right now. Wow look at that. This is going to be super cool. I cannot wait. The tree house is looking absolutely stunning. And we are once again back at Indiana Jones. Thank you. I'm excited. I'm so excited. I'm just gonna try.
