Starting point is 00:00:00 Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Plaza, Gateway to Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and the Downtown Disney District. If you were here just for the day, our one-day park hopper ticket offers same-day admission to both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. Just ahead is the downtown Disney District with exciting shopping, dining, and live entertainment. Just beyond it is Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, inspired by the famed arts and crafts movement in California. We are now approaching the main entrance, Waza. At the end of your visit, please return here to take the Mickey and Friends and Pixar Bals tram back to the parking area.
Starting point is 00:00:53 The tram will continue running until one hour after the latest park closing time. Please remain seated with the doors closed until the tram comes to a full stop. Then, carry your belongings, watch your step, and head to the driver's left. Thank you. Welcome back, travelers. It's your old friend here, Rick, Obstacle Jedi, on another lovely day here in Disneyland, California, with my lovely wife, Lisa. Hello, everyone.
Starting point is 00:02:02 And we're going to be giving you a little bit of a tour of transportation here at the original Magic Kingdom. Hoping to get you a little bit of the main street rides. Maybe a little monorail. Maybe a little train. Let's just see where the day takes us. And as always, I love it when we're coming in and the train is just pulling into the station, or pulling out as the case may be. Pulled in just as we were walking underneath the monorail track, and I think you might just hear it start to pull away here as we walk under the berm Hi there Do you want a ride?
Starting point is 00:03:15 We do indeed Come on in Thank you Your A ticket This was only an A ticket before In the past Well we enjoy any version of a ticket it is. Yes, the last call here.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Yeah. Last call. We drive up Main Street through the castle. Last call. All right, well, we're going to get going. Down Main Street to the castle. One-way trip. Safety.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Remain seated. Keep all hands on speed and legs inside. Supervisor children. Enjoy. Let's go. Nothing quite like the putt-putt. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha.
Starting point is 00:04:27 Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Ha ha. Just love it when you get the marching band coming through Oh, there's a roller coaster right near us. Hey, buddy. Oh, there's a roller coaster right near us. We've got a full transportation hub here going on. We're in yellow car. We've got red car behind us. We've got the fire engine right behind that. We got the horse pulling away on the other side, the whole hub here except for the bus.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Omnibus is the only thing missing. Twain's just pulling into port. Do we want to try to ride Twain? I think we'll set to Twain. Thank you. Yes, I hope so. I hope he's still watching. Enjoy your day. I think we're going to take a little pivot here, and instead of running off to the monorail, thank you so much,
Starting point is 00:06:40 we're going to run off to the Mark Twain, which just pulled into port. Oh, look at the little ducklings. Oh, just bobbed under. Oh, ducklings, ducklings, ducklings. Little furry ducklings. Nothing like a nice, lazy river ride on a warm Southern California day. Oh, it's warm. We're running and musing behind our first day of summer and besides though, hey, it's the first day of summer, we better be hot now.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Indeed. Thank you. Thank you. What is that? This is a microphone I record for Walk About the World. It's a podcast of the sounds. Hello. I'm your captain here. Today we've been traveling on a voyage of the Mark Twain River along the rivers of America here at Disneyland Anaheim, California, established in 1955 by a sir named Walt Disney.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Now, Walt Disney had a humble life. He sold oranges for a nickel, and that's how he saved up money to build Disneyland. All facts. All facts. And this is your not-first-time guest starring? We really appreciate it. Thank you so much. Cheers. Roberto, definitely our favorite captain here,
Starting point is 00:08:28 whether we're on the Twain or the Columbia. Looks like there's no seating here on the lower deck, so we're just going to hang out on the rail and enjoy the views. And it can't beat the music. Indeed. Sitting here at the port waiting for everyone to fully dock. We're looking over at Tom Sawyer's Island and the Pirate Cove. This side is very much more Tom. And we're looking at Tom's Treehouse right at the top of the hill.
Starting point is 00:09:23 And again, we've got more of our lovely Disney ducks wandering around the rivers with us here. Secure all cargo. All passengers aboard. Storbritannia so parliament Fire line! Engine room! Ahead one quarter! Engine room! Ahead three quarters! Legments! Foul talk!
Starting point is 00:11:17 Foul talk! Foul talk! Master Legment calling out the deck, Marky, so we can avoid running around. A-Wing! Mark Twain is not just the name of a riverboat, or a great American author. It also means the water here is too fabulous deep. That means it's safe enough for us to proceed on our steam-powered journey along the goodness of America. On our trip, we'll visit the magnificent Columbia of the great Northwest, the graceful Missouri of the windswept plains,
Starting point is 00:12:00 and the rugged Rio Grande along the border of Texas and Mexico. I'll be sure to point out interesting sights along the way, and even tell you about a legend or two. We begin our trip right here on the I-E Mississippi, heading south and ending up down on the door. Well, women are very pretty, and all the men come to her. And you, as always, lady, throw anything down for all tonight. So in a distant world tonight Bring a music and a music play And I'm singing to you All right, red and shiny
Starting point is 00:12:53 Come on down Bring a danger We paint the town A lesson for the good We're all in this And now it's new all the way But as the seasons go on, we're now chasing down a new Orleans. New Orleans is rich in history, music, good food, and ghost stories. One of those stories involves the old mansion you see over there on the hill.
Starting point is 00:13:21 I heard it said that the place is haunted, filled with 999 ghosts, ghouls, and goblins. I'm gonna run for one more minute. United Kingdom and Columbia, the first American ship to sail to navigate the world. This is the first one. The Columbia set sail for Boston Harbor in 1787. She rounded Cape Horn and became the first American ship to carry the stars and stripes around the world. Beyond those levee walls on the port side is the Bayou, future home of Giana's bayou vision. Princess Giana swears this magic up. And wherever you find magic, you're bound to find surprises. Blue skies and sunshine guaranteed. It's not one thing's changing, but we're all the same. But death told me, death is a little too easy
Starting point is 00:14:26 You gotta make a mess, all the things I'm using From a lonely heart, it's never there I should be right on my way Just doing what I do, like I'm born on a call Even when I'm all alone I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, I got boys, with tall vines and the tall tales of our local animals that can talk, sing, play music, and dance. Don't you just love tall tales? If you're doing critters, you might want to grab a camel and try your hand at exploring the news. You can work up a real good sweat knowing one of those around the river. Me? I'll take the comfort of a Mark Twain riverboat in your day. Stavros Stavros As we head into the remote areas of the rivers of America, you're in for a real treat. I've been navigating these parts for years now, but I never get tired of taking in the breathtaking beauty of the Columbia River.
Starting point is 00:16:30 The majestic trees, the stunning rock formations, the cascading waterfalls, the moose, deer, and elk along the banks. It's all so magnificent and so peaceful. The That means we're all clean as we head up the Missouri River to the home of the boat is a wise old show sharing the story of all of us to meet. He is telling the tale of how one emperor taught a young tribe to take a hollowed out branch and turn it into that most wondrous, amusable ancient site of the fields. It's a legend that the Lakota have passed down from generation to generation. And there, just beyond the shelter, is a tribe of plains Indians setting up their camp along the banks of the river. They'll be here for a few eye on the riverbeds. There's a good chance we might catch a glimpse of moose, mountain lion, and other wildlife. Thank you. I'm going to try. I'm going to try.
Starting point is 00:19:50 I'm going to try. I'm going! I'm home! I'm home! I'm home! I'm home! I'm home! I'm home! I'm home! I'm home!
Starting point is 00:20:18 I'm home! I'm home! I'm home! I'm home! I'm home! The world is huge. Off the starboard side is Pirate's Land at Tom Sawyer Island. Young Tom always said he wanted to be a pirate, and I think I see why. If you're a pirate, you don't need to get up early in the morning and go to school. And you never have to wash your face and hands. All you have to do is just look for treasure all day long.
Starting point is 00:21:21 At least that's what Tom Silky thought. We're now heading back into civilization along the Rio Grande, off in the distance of the mountain has been seized by supernatural forces and they've turned mining trains into the wildest ride in the wilderness. Of course, that may be just another legend of the world. Just ahead is the frontier of Africa, where our journey begins. On behalf of our entire crew, I'd like to thank you for booking passage on the Mont Twain River. We hope you enjoyed your voyage with us, and that you will visit us again real soon. Engine room. Approach the ferry at one quarter speed. And the bowline.
Starting point is 00:22:15 All passengers, stand by to go ashore. Tämä on Suomen koko maa. Se on Suomen koko maa. Se on Suomen koko maa. Se on Suomen koko maa. Se on Suomen koko maa. Se on Suomen koko maa. Se on Suomen koko maa. Se on Suomen koko maa. Se on Suomen koko maa. Se on Suomen koko maa.
Starting point is 00:22:40 Se on Suomen koko maa. Se on Suomen koko maa. Se on Suomen koko maa. Se on Suomen koko maa. Täällä on paljon kausia, kun kustiapinnoissa kaaska menee. Siinä on aika kattava ranninolke. Aivan hyvää. Täällä on jo edestäpäin. Onko tuolla jo tuolla edessä päin? I hope you enjoyed that wonderful little voyage that calm and relaxing voyage along the Mark Twain over in the rivers of America
