The Well hey everybody and welcome back to Walkabout the World. Your weekly audio stroll through the parks of Walt Disney World and the occasional stroll through Walt Disneyland. No, that's not what it's called. I don't think that exists. Listen guys, this is my first record in the new year. I'm rusty, okay? Leave me alone. It's been a while. Anyway, you know the thing we usually say.

It's me, Josh, with you. I'm here with my wife, Tiff. Say hi, Tiff. Hi. And with Pete, the Neverland local. Hello. We are here at Epcot. It is a chilly 54 degrees around the world showcase right now that's cold for floridians you guys uh so we're here um checking out all the arts and um the food the sounds the foods the arts and the sounds they're all here um we were in the odyssey. I had to pick up my figment and my goodness it was so efficient. They definitely learned from that craziness last year. You just mobile order your figment bucket,

pop in line at your assigned time and boom pick it up. Good to go. It was pretty great. So we're not really sure what we're going to do. We're just going to hang out. I think there's a beacon show just for the Festival of the Arts that we're definitely going to check out for you here in a little while. But until then, just enjoy the sights and sounds and smells. No, still no smells. We're working on it. Smell-O-Vision, coming soon.

Kara Lindsey and Kevin Massey, everybody! So there we go. So that was the Disney on Broadway show over at the American Gardens Theater. Newsies. There's nothing that I can add to that.

It was good. They sounded great. And it's cold out here, but yet they sounded really good So good crowd too. I actually ran from the Japan pavilion because I love newsies. I don't know. Okay. I'm okay But I did I sprinted sprinted when I heard seize the day Passing through the Japan pavilion It's actually kind of open right now. The torches have been lit.

Oh, you know what that means. They're on fire? Okay. Pete's got jokes. Do you? I'm here all night. In just ten minutes, Epcot and prom is at Harmonious, a dazzling display of fireworks, stunning special effects, and moving music from around the globe.

Due to roller light and all the journey show, please watch your step or take small children by the hand. Get ready, because tonight's performance of Harmonious begins in just 10 minutes. Thank you. Storbritannia Where are we now, Pete? I believe we're entering France soon. We're still, I think, in... Morocco? Morocco. Sorry, my brain is cold. It's hard for me to put words out.

It is still chilly. We just lost Tip to some art. Lots of art, as you know. I will refrain from trying to describe all the art, but just know it's all fabulous. Honestly can't tell if people are dancing to the music or they're just trying to stay warm. I'd say probably a combination of both. This music you're hearing of course means that the harmonious is a few minutes away from starting.

Since we recorded that already I I'm going to skip that tonight. Let's just keep walking around World Showcase and head towards Spaceship Earth, going around all the Walcott area just saw that over to the left of us where the imagination pavilion upside-down waterfall is they've added for the art festival as they add characters around all the pavilions there's sorcerer Mickey and and a broomstick from Fantasia as though he's controlling the waters. Clever!

It was pretty clever. I enjoy finding the art throughout. Sorry, it's cold again. Yes, we're a bit sniffly this evening. Sorry. In Fort Weway sound. The land to our left, the seas straight ahead. Empty land to our left. Soon to be Moana.

Journey of water to our right. Yes, Te Fiti is in there somewhere. She looks great. See her from the monorail Peach. Above? Yeah, you can see Te Fihi from this, just under the monorail track in front of the Seas Pavilion. You can see her if you look over to your right. My eggs weren't as over easy. And no, I'll tell you something. What's ahead of us, Josh? It's a big golf ball, Pete.

That there golf ball? That there golf ball. So, we started our evening, like I said, getting our popcorn buckets, our figment popcorn buckets over at the Odyssey or the Festival Center, whatever they're calling it these days. The filament. Filament Ground Zero. Filament, yes. Not figment. His name is filament now, according to a guest. We started over there and it's it's wonderful it seriously is the the highlight of my day because of all the the joy of all of the journey into imagination you know they brought back

it's basically as close as you can get to the original ride without bringing back the original ride with the mural original ride. With the mural from the queue. They recreated the mural from the queue. But my favorite part, which Pete pointed out to me, I probably wouldn't even have noticed. And seriously just made my day was the pin tables that used to be upstairs in the Image Works area. A huge part of my childhood. I absolutely loved them. And just playing around with those, it just took me back and it was absolutely fantastic.

So if you get to come to the Festival of the Arts, check them out. Sadly, most people are using them as eating dinner tables, which is sad. It's like, that is a piece of Epcot history and my childhood you should not be using as a table. That's why we have trash cans. Correct. Trash cans are the tables of Epcot festivals. That's what Push is for in there. So check that out if you have a chance, travelers,

because it's wonderful, especially if it was part of your childhood. Alright, here we are. I'm going to hang out here and bring you the Beacon Show, especially for the Festival of the Arts. Yes.
