Oh hey travelers, welcome back to Walk About The World. We're here at Disney's Hollywood Studios on a lovely evening after the evening Florida
rain has passed.
I'm happy to have a break from the heat.
It's dropped below 80.
There's a little bit of a breeze.
No sun.
It's a good time.
Great time to be at the parks for sure.
Can you tell where I am?
Let's see how good you are with your music cues.
Which part of the park am I at?
My favorite park.
Here's a hint. do you hear it? If you said Echo Lake, you know what's up!
I am standing just to the left of Peavey's Polar Pipeline,
frozen Coca-Cola concoctions with all that glorious Rocketeer memorabilia.
And directly in front of me,
Echo Lake is looking kind of low.
And Gertie seems to be having some cosmetic work done.
Her tail is all wrapped up, bandaged up.
They must be doing some kind of repairs on her.
So here's a get well soon Gertie card for you.
There she is with the steam coming out of her nose.
We love Gertie.
Oh yeah, this feels good. It's a nice break from the heat. So I'm just gonna...
Let me just do a circle of Echo Lake here for ya.
Take in some of the sounds.
Relax.
Enjoy. I don't remember eating, maybe I was sick. I'm going to go to the next one. Kampung Kampung Made our way around past Gurdie, past Indiana Jones to the left.
Now we are in front of the Hyperion Theater, home to the Frozen Sing-Along.
You could be the American Idol. It sure did.
It was the American Idol.
Before that, it was Superstar Television.
My day. My day. You too, you too. When you get to the end of it, you'll see how crazy this is.
It's like in the pinkest...
Dockside Diner to our right.
As we make our way around. Lots of fun little details around here. I think we'll check out some of the oft-passed-by fun little details,
signs and such that you'll find around Echo Lake area.
Let's check them out.
Where are we?
Well, according to the signs, we are at Echo Park Drive and Sunset Plaza.
You'll see the very Aztec looking architecture. I'm not sure if that's maybe a nod to the
movie palaces of the 30s, 40s, that were all themed.
Check that out.
But it's the entrance of the shop.
There's an awesome sign.
Sights and Sounds, it's called.
You ought to be in pictures.
Great sign.
Woo-hoo!

The future is in your palm.
The grand astral march.

Something that often goes unnoticed as well.
Which is funny because it literally has a sign.
It says warning, do not pull rope.
But the knot is scratched out.
It says do pull rope.
So what happens when you pull the rope?
Laugh it all.
